I always get to-go orders from this place and I am never disappointed. The food is always hot when i arrive home and nevertheless, delicious every single time! I absolutely love this place for their amazing food, and customer service always so fast and dedicated to their clientele.

Disgusting! Ordered delivery, The hot and sour soup was gross and inedible! The kung pow chicken was ok but didnt come with rice definitely not worth the price. They didn't send any soy sauce or hot mustard even though it was requested. Will not be ordering from here again.

We ordered from here after a long 14 hours of driving. They delivered straight to our room over at Staybridge Suites and it was a much needed meal. The lady who took our order was very nice and informative and it got delivered here much quicker than expected. The food was definitely better than expected and we were thoroughly relived to have come across this place at 9 o'clock. Would recommend this place anytime.

The lunch buffet is good here. There's a good selection of items included in the buffet. Service is great. When I order for a pick up here (online or by phone), I can usually come by within 10 - 15 minutes to get my order. The pricing is good too!

Still searching for good or even decent Chinese food in Colorado Springs. This is not the place. No flavor and tired food.

Have gone for lunch, went in to carry out this time. Pretty darn good food, for $26 we have enough left for two meals tomorrow. Was ready quickly and came with egg rolls, soup and won tons. I will go again.

The sesame chicken is excellent. The restaurant is clean and the service is fast and friendly. We'll definitely be back.

Not too bad but not great by any means. We ordered here since it was late at night and we had been busy working in the yard all day so dinner did not get made. Well after a quick call to them to deliver it the food showed up way before we expected it. Since we had it delivered it is actually hard to say how good it really would have been if we ate at their location but for the price it fit the need that we had at that time. Would I order there again, sure if the late night thing happens again then we will give them a call. Oh and on a plus note my daughter asked to eat the rest of it for breakfast!!! So it must have not been to bad.

The food is excellent. The lady that works at the cash register is really nice. Sometimes I order delivery and it come faster then I expected. When I go pick up the food, the restaurant is always nice and clean.

I ordered kung pao combination and was delighted at how everything tasted. The wontons are somewhat sweet and delicious and the hot and sour soup is delicious as well. I'd deff order from here again.

We have eaten there a few times (since 2001) and also ordered delivery, that being sad yes indeed the food quality has gone down, myself coming from Berlin Germany where we have a lot of Asian Cuisines, I do not expect it to be the same exact flavor even after talking to the owners at China Inn II they stated that they can not use the same seasoning or spices in the United States due to the aspect what people like. I'm sorry I find this hard to believe, stay true to yourself, yes listen to your customers likes or dislikes but please season your food, don't overcook the rice or the Lo Mein, please clean/deveine the shrimp. So sorry I give restaurants the benefit of the doubt but after our last food delivery with everything being overcooked to mush again, we will not be dining there or having food delivered from China Inn II again.

This place has really declined over the last couple of years. Our office staff used to frequent the lunch buffets and my family would eat in , and order out. I'm not sure if the cooks ( Spanish speaking) cook the food but that's all I heard from the kitchen area the last time I went to pick up our food. It used to be such a great place say in 2010. I gave 2 stars cause the woman who works the counter is friendly.

This restaurant has been in decline over the past months. It used to be excellent and we went there often, mostly for their lunch buffet. The regular menu is way overpriced for the amount of food that you get. The last 3 times that we went here for lunch, the food on the buffet was dried out and cold. They did not bother to refill most of the dishes even though it was right in the middle of lunch time. The lunch buffet has become overpriced because of the fact that there's barely any food on the buffet that is edible. We spent over $40 for to lunch buffets and 2 children's buffets and there was barely any decent food to eat. Sadly to say, after our last visit, we will never go back again.

This is not the best Chinese restaurant I have had the pleasure to dine at, but it's certainly not the worst! We only get delivery, so i can't comment on the decor. It gets 4 stars for many reasons: 1. The staff on the phone is always nice and tries to save your address for further orders, so that you hopefully won't have to even mention your street the next time you call as your phone is linked to your confirmed location. Nice! 2. The delivery staff is always very nice and they do not fish for tips! We used another local delivery establishment, and every time the delivery guy would ask: "do you need change back?". We tip all the time anyways, we just don't like to be told how much, or to be felt like we HAVE to. Isn't tipping a courtesy, anyhow? 3. Delivery is always SUPER fast! They usually say 20 minutes, but most times they get your food piping hot to your door in less. Possibly that's because we live off of Rockrimmon, so to be fair, it's only a 3 minutes drive top. 4. You can pay with credit card over the phone if you don't have cash. For what it counts these are our likes: - X with eggplant in garlic sauce - moo shu X - wonton soup - fried dumplings - teriyaki chicken (a lot of meat but nothing else, I would suggest ordering some veggies)

I don't anything about their lunch buffett. I only order off the menu. The lunch menu is really good. I usually order the Kung Pao Chicken lunch special and it's cooked fresh to order everytime. I have several co-workers that order different lunch specials and they are also impressed by the freshness and good taste. The only reason I'm giving it four instead of five stars is because they got my order wrong...once. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken and got a noodle stir fry. I ate the noodles and it was really good...but not what I ordered.

My infatuation with China Inn II is waning. The crush lasted awhile but I'm over it. And like all failed romances (unless they're just plain crazy), it isn't you it's me. I've come here for years and I'm at the point that I'm desiring quality over quantity. So for less than the $7.89 price tag at China Inn II I can go to many other Asian restaurants and get a one plate lunch special that is really good. So long China Inn, I don't know if I'll see you again. Well... Unless I feel like having a fling.

So I had pretty much written this place off back in January/February of this year when I called to order my favorite wonton soup in town only to rudely discover upon peeling off the container lid they had totally CHANGED the freaking wontons! They weren't the meaty round ones anymore but thick, doughy, gross triangles. Belch. I mean blech. Then, I was desperately hungry driving home from work one day last winter and thought a little sesame shrimp would hit the spot. I walked in to China Inn (it was open) and no one was around. I waited for awhile because I really did not want to think up something else to eat at my house and then.... I heard a burst of SPANISH coming from the kitchen area. WTF?! Needless to say I left without anyone knowing I had been there. FLASH FORWARD to May 2011.... Found myself in a real bind to get dinner on the table. I was pretty sure I was going to be sorry, but I called China Inn for delivery. A very pleasant woman greeted me on the phone, was somehow able to confirm my address electronically, and took my order: crab rangoon, spring rolls, curry chicken, shrimp with black bean sauce, and shrimp fried rice. I was so happy to see someone of Asian descent at my door about 20 minutes later! It gave me hope the food might actually be authentic. I dished everything up, saving the soup for last, and when I dipped into the container I was thrilled to see the yummy little wonton balls rise to the surface. Hello, we're baaack! Yay. Amazingly, the rest of the food was really great! It was completely different in presentation and flavor from before (even in China Inn's good days before). I wish I had taken pictures. So, all I can think is that they changed management, changed chefs, something. I've ordered food twice in the past two weeks from China Inn and it has been great both times. Definitely will order again and I encourage everyone to give them another try!

I ordered Salt and Pepper Shrimp and Cheese Mussels for delivery. The shrimp was plentiful but not shelled. It was covered with a batter and I had to peel each and every one of them. By the time it was all peeled there was no flavor to the shrimp. If I'm going to pay $15 for a meal you best know I don't want to work for it. The mussels were the worst I've tasted. They were smothered in mayonaise. I should have just bought a small jar of mayo and eaten that because that's all I tasted. It certainly would have been much cheaper. My delivery menu has been tossed.

Their main draw is their lunch buffet. For about $7 you can have all the standard Chinese fare you want. However if the lunch is any indication, I will not come here for dinner. I'd rather dine at Shangri-La for the same cost as here, and the food will be much better. The food wasn't piping hot on the buffet today, although the Hot and Sour Soup was acceptable. The rest of the food wasn't hot enough for my liking, unless I got lucky and got a pan of something as it came out of the kitchen. The selection sounds promising but doesn't measure up. The salted pepper squid was rubbery, as was the salted pepper shrimp (still in the shell, and a pain in the butt to remove before eating). The cream cheese sushi wasn't bad, but it was missing something. The egg rolls, cheese rangoon, and potstickers were lukewarm and overcooked. The server will offer tea, but they don't tell you it costs extra. Just a little surprise when we got the bill. I don't expect good Chinese food in Colorado Springs, but in general this is below average. There are better average Chinese restaurants than this.

Ambiance: Standard Chinese joint, with Chinese themed items adorning the walls. There is a strange criss-cross of plastic ivy vines that covers most of the ceiling. For the first five minutes of my visit, a radio station blaring nothing but commercials was playing so loudly over their speaker system, that I could not hear the waitress when she came to take my order. I finally asked if she could turn down the radio, and she then switched on a cd of quieter Asian instrumental music. Service: The table I was seated at was extremely sticky, and I had to ask the waitress to wipe it down (again). Though only four other tables of patrons there, I waited very long for the waitress to come and take my order. Also, had to flag her down several times asking for my water glass to refilled. Food: Wasn't expecting much, but the food at Panda Express far exceeds the quality you will find here (really!). The pan-fried noodles came with so much starchy sauce, that I had to fish out the morsels of meat, fish and vegetables (this dish almost looked like soup it was so watery). The shrimp in the dish were rather large, however they were not deveined (there is absolutely no excuse for this -- restaurant just being lazy). The fried rice was probably one of the worst I have ever had at a Chinese restaurant (and this dish is not hard NOT to get right). It was extremely flavorless and soggy. The only other item in the serving bowl other than the rice was one small morsel of scrambled egg -- no vegetables - no herbs - nothing! A pork dish was almost inedible, due to a heavy unappetizing corn starch-laden sauce concoction. Living in Colorado Springs, I have come to terms that good authentic Chinese places do not exist (I was very spoiled living earlier in California, where great inexpensive Chinese restaurants abound). But, this place is horrible. I would have honestly been much happier staying home and eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with a glass of milk. This place obviously has no commitment in trying to create and feature high-quality, innovative Chinese dishes, but to get by on the cheap as much as possible. If you consider yourself a discerning Chinese food restaurant-goer, you will be wise to stay clear of this establishment.

Its a small chinese buffet that runs $6.95. Not a huge selection, the offerings could have been a bit fresher. Not great, not terrible.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
