This was my first time and I got the sesame chicken with fried rice and hot and sour soup. I thought it was expensive at first but then I saw the portions they gave me and oh my goodness. The food was delicious. I am defiantly going back.

I had the sesame beef dinner with fried rice...not only was it at my table very fast, but both were delicious and BONUS I had enough to take home for another meal. My waitress was excellent; near me was a table with small children and she was sweet to them as well. I would recommended to anyone wanting good food that was worth the money.

I've dined at several chinese restaurants in the springs and this one has to be my favorite. Ordering was painless and she gave us a delivery time of 45 minutes. Literally 17 minutes later, the driver was at our door mind you that we live on Fort Carson. We ordered hot and sour soup which proves to be the best in the area. Full of flavor and the right amount of heat. Kung Pao chicken was on point and just fantastic. Lastly we ordered chicken lo mein. It was a good dish. Nothing spactacular but it wasnt bad at all. I would've given 5 stars but they didnt have chow fun on their menu and fried rice is literally white rice and egg white cooked on a flat top grill. This must be a midwest thing because our restaurants back home(Pennsylvania) make real fried rice and its a staple amongst all restaurants. Overall, I have nothing but praise to give this restaurant. We will definately order from China Doll again.

The egg rolls were tougher to take down in one bite than I would've liked. You should be able to comfortably stuff a full roll into the mouth. Not the case here. Good buffet.

Wow. It's been awhile since I've ordered from here. When I ate there the other night the only thing I enjoyed was my service. I ordered Shrimp Lo Mein. It had a burned after taste. My egg rolls had no taste and were super oily. Disappointed this time to say the least.

I wish I could give no stars for this place. My husband and I ordered delivery and it came to our door within 25 minutes which was ok with me because we were starving. This is by FAR thee WORST Chinese food I have EVER eaten in my life. Im not even exaggerating. No flavor. So seasoning. The "fried rice" is actual instant microwave brown rice with some peas thrown in it. The only thing I actually liked was the egg roll (which are frozen, not hand made) My husband was excited to taste it because everything else was awful. His egg roll was BAD. I mean something in it was sour/spoiled. I was terrified that we were all going to get sick from this food! I will never ever ever eat anything from this place again!!

Worst Chinese food I have ever tried to eat. The Royal ribs were like little charcoal briquettes, dry unchewable and no taste. The General Tso's Chicken was equally dry and tasteless, like it had been sitting in a steam table all day. When I mentioned this to the waitress, I received a blank stare and then she said I gotta go she turned and walked away not to be seen again, I had to carry my check up to the cashier. I won't be back

It wasn't the worst fast food Chinese I've ever had but it was pretty close to it. I got the Mongolian beef one day and it was just sweet and fatty. Another time I tried the garlic chicken and I was pleased there were some veggies but again, bad sauce bad meat.

Love this place!! Food and service are always spot on. Lunch buffet is cheap and tasty. Entrees come out fast and hot. I don't know what these bad reviews are all about. We eat there regularly and have always had a great experience. They'll let you do a lunch special with any dish on their menu and bring you a whole extra big box of rice with leftovers. They aim to please and it shows. This is easily the best Chinese food I've had in Springs.

This is probably the best Chinese food I'll get being away from a coast city. One time I did find something questionable in my food. Haven't been wanting Chinese after that. :/

Huge helpings! They have a chicken noodle soup that comes in a Jethro bowl that my six year old just loves and he doesnt like soup usually. Get their Muah Tai For 4.50 its strong and well worth it!!!

This place is pretty good for lunch. They have an all you can eat buffet with chinese food standards. Recently I ate dinner here with the wifey. The platter was okay, the chicken was a little tough on the jaw. The General Tsao's Chicken was great, and the generous portions meant I got to enjoy it for another couple days. Very zapable. Chrome's telling me that's not a word, but I like it anyways. Best chinese nearby I've had. Do it.

Ambiance: Rather large (two separate dining areas) and a small bar area. Somewhat attractive, however, several booths are used to store supplies that are visible to the rest of the diners. Well kept fish tank greets you as you enter. Buffet is served at lunch. Service: Friendly waitress, however inattentive at times (no refills of water were ever offered). Food: Lousy! WonTon soup was ok I guess, but nothing special. Ordered an appetizer of foil wrapped chicken that disappointed. While chicken was juicy, and not over-cooked as at other places, there was little flavor. Suffered from lack of spending time in a good marinade and could have used a few herbs and spices (maybe some green onion). The pan-fried noodles were terrible. Very few noodles. It arrived looking like a soup. Swimming in a ton of brown sauce, that was extremely high in sodium content. The meat used was tough and lacked individual flavor (all you could taste was that over-powering brown sauce). Overall, yet another poor option for Chinese food in Colorado Springs. Not worth going to, even for take out if you live in the neighborhood. A decent Chinese option in the southwest part of town is Chopsticks, which is located about a mile north.

When arriving to the area, I ordered delivery from here a few times since it's very close to Ft. Carson. The portions for lunch and dinner specials are very good and worth the money but the food is just okay. The Mongolian Beef is much closer to a Pepper Steak and the General Tso's Chicken is closer to Orange Chicken. On the contrary, the Hot and Sour soup is just right in spicy taste and consistency. All in all, flavors are there but just either lack bite or seem mismatched.

Only reason for a star is because it wasn't a far drive! But holy cheese balls. We get there at 8 and they sit u down. The waitres comes and rushes us through our order. She seriously says, "Oh I hurry cause its late you know?" No I don't know cause as a stylist if a client walks in at 10 til I will cut their hair. Than she asks for our drinks. I say, "I would like a water." She says, "Water for everyone? Okay." In the end I just asked for our food to go. Awesome! For $51.61 I ended up pickn up my grub and getn booted in a very casual way! Going in there I had hoped to eat there!

The establishment is clean and well decorated. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. Take out is super fast. Prices are very reasonable. The food is standard though nothing spectacular. The steamed dumplings, egg drop soup, and fried rice are pretty good. The one time I ordered their Lo Mein they used WAY to much oil. The general sao's chicken didn't really taste like general sao's. Like I mentioned before nothing to write home about but it hits the spot!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
