I'm not much of a chain restaurant supporter, but we frequent this location often for Sunday brunch, especially after extra rowdy Saturday nights. The bubbles and brunch will set you back $20 or so but it's the best deal, by far. Bubbles. Bottomless mimosas, bellinis, and sangria. Win. Brunch. I always grab the Surf & Turf Eggs Bene; lobster and filet over poached eggs and hollandaise? Come on. So damn good. Flavor is consistent but my egg is always overpoached or my steak well-done.

We had an excellent experience at Bonefish Grill in Colorado Springs from service to delicious food. Though previous reviews indicated poor service, our waiter was prompt, funny, and incredibly responsive. In addition, the manager was out stopping by tables to check on the food and the service; she stopped by our table twice and we saw her several other times. We started with the lobster flatbread and the crab cakes. Both were fresh and full flavored. The sauce for the crab cakes had a kick - we all loved it. Outside of Baltimore, those were some of the best crab cakes we'd ever had. My only regret of the experience was not just ordering the crab cakes for my meal - I could have eaten just them all night. My dad had the Rockfish special. He had really wanted the grouper he'd eaten at the Bonefish in Florida, but the waiter recommended this as a non-fishy-tasting fish. He was pleased with the choice and liked the crab and lobster sauce atop. My mom had the scallops and shrimp. They were well cooked, flavorful, and a good size. She added the crab fried rice, which was also good. I had the lobster roll. It was good, but the crab cakes were better. I also had some Breckenridge Agave Wheat beer - awesome! The bottle I had was the last one, though. The only bummer of our meal. Overall, we had some great food and great service. Highly recommended.

Bonefish has really redeemed themselves the last few times my husband and I have been in. The only reason they are not getting 5 stars is because we came in once, waited over an hour for a table and then were never waited on. We sat for over 30 minutes at the table and a waiter simply never came by. We were so hungry by that point we went and had dinner elsewhere. The hostess who seated us didn't seem to care about the issue when we told her why we were leaving. Now for the good, the last 2 times we have been in we have sat at the bar and received the best service. The bar staff is quick and knowledgable. Our food came out hot and quickly. All around a great time.

Seafood in Colorado, I know I know, kind of a taboo subject. However Bonefish is great. Reasonable prices paired with fantastic service. This place is always packed so expect a wait. I'm not even a big lover of seafood, but everything I've ever had has been delicious. Great Happy Hour prices and selections! And Bang Bang Shrimp Wednesdays.

Have now eaten at Bonefish Grill twice for lunch. The restaurant is very well organized, background music is nice and at a perfect level, nice spacing between tables, and the restrooms are clean. Our groups, ranging from 3 to 10, were always seated promptly and service was spot-on. I am like many others, I gauge service by my drink levels. If it runs out, service is sub-par, if it always remains full, service is excellent. Yeah it might be a shallow way to do it, but I don't care what you think. I ordered a salad on my first visit and a burger on my second. Salad was great and I loved the presentation. Burger was good as well, but I did expect a larger patty for the price. I will be trying a fish dish on my next go around. On another note, I have dressed in a suit and tie for one visit and regular old work clothes for another - service has always been the same. Thank you for not judging me on what I wear, I hate that!

I guess it is ok as far as chains goes. I am not a chain fan, but I do end up at those types of restaurants sometimes when friends invite us out. This is just like the Bonefish we ate at in North Carolina. That's the downside of chains...no surprise. No originality. But I guess they can be safe for some due to their predictability. I had fish tacos which were their special and they were not bad, but not extraordinary either. One thing that really threw me for a loop were the condition of the servers clothing. Their aprons and shirts were all dirty. Like if they had been working for several hours in a row. It would have been understandable on an evening night...but for a Saturday lunch it seemed odd. I wonder if they don't change their aprons? Not sure. But it did not look very professional.

My family and I visited last night for the first time. We made reservations 4 pm. Since I did this on line instead of calling, I was offered a 15% off coupon. When we arrived and told them we had reservations, we were seated within seconds. It was a very positive experience. Our appetizers, main entree, everything tasted wonderful. Our waitress was amazing. She kept her eyes on us. When ours drinks were 3/4 empty, she had brought a new ones before we ever asked. She was top notch, excellent service. The manager came to everybodys table to ask how were doing, if we were enjoying our food, etc. We were very impressed so we will definitely be back again soon.

My chiro loves to talk about this place and won't stop telling me how amazing the food is here. Not going to lie, this is one of the best places I have ever been to in Colorado Springs! Walking in, I felt a little underdressed. I had on short shorts and flip flops. My attire was checked out head to toe as if judging how much I might tip. Didn't realize this place is a little more fancy than a Olive Garden but I'm still glad I checked it out. The service here is extremely slow, at least with our waitress. It was over 15 minutes before our drinks came out and she forgot my boyfriend's raspberry tea. For $3, it was the worst raspberry tea I have ever tried. It tasted just like a standard iced tea and the only time I ever noticed a raspberry flavor was after he put a little sweeter in it. As we were waiting, I looked around and noticed that everyone else had complimentary bread to snack on. Our bread didn't get to our table until our entrees did. The main course did take awhile to get to our table which further annoyed me. The bread was amazing but I didn't care for the oil dip any. Very flavorless. This place is a little pricey, more so than Olive Garden, just glad I had a coupon on hand when I walked in. Ordered the shrimp pad thai and it was phenomenal! I usually find myself picking off of my boyfriends plate if he got something fantastic but this time he couldn't stop testing my pad thai lol! I hate shrimp but tried it again. I usually find shrimp to be crunchy tasteless creatures but the shrimp pad thai brought out the flavor in them! Little spicy but just enough kick to really bring out the dish. I did notice our drinks were never refilled although our waitress passed by our table multiple times. I'll come in again but only with a coupon. Wasn't entirely satisfied with service here, very slow, didn't get bread initially, inattentive service, glasses weren't filled, kinda pricey.

Less than expected experience today after hearing decent reviews. Even though we had a reservation, staff was ill-prepared to serve our party of 10. Orders were given and server returned to confirm half, one diner wasn't informed until almost 10 minutes after being served that the rice she ordered wasn't coming because it's served at dinner only, iced teas weren't refilled despite the server acknowledging glasses were empty, and it was well over 30 minutes from ordering until food arrived over a 10 minute stretch. Food was good enough, but not enough to compensate for the overall poor experience.

I've just been here once, with my wife and daughter-unit. They had some happy hour drinks that were interesting and unique. I took away one star because my daughter and wife were not as enamored of Bonefish as I. I got an appetizer of shrimp in some sort of batter and it was very large. Perhaps even too large, it was sized to share, perhaps for four as an appetizer or two as a light meal. I haven't been back because the wife-unit always suggests somewhere else instead, but I think I may go solo or with some other friends. It was a little pricey, but I felt that the value was excellent so I have no complaints. We showed up without a reservation on a busy night, but the hostess explained that they have a policy of leaving a few tables available and not "reserving" the entire restaurant. I like the policy--it leaves them some slack if someone lingers or someone shows up early and it got me in that night.

Four of us have just returned from Bonefish Grill and are pleasantly surprised. We eat together once a month and in the last few years this has only been the second Restaurant where we came away satisfied. Sunday lunch was busy and it took a bit to get the waiter, but after ordering and having the beverages, he never let us out of his sight. The portions were perfect for us for lunch, well seasoned, perfectly cooked and I have to say, I did not have better crab cakes since I was in Maine. I was also surprised that I received the club soda I ordered for free : most places will charge you. All in all a great experience and I will drive the 22 miles from here any time just to try the fish & chips...my favorite!! Good job Bonefish Grill.

We stopped in here one Sunday afternoon to avoid traffic and headaches from an accident blocking I-25. This was our first visit to a restaurant of this chain. We managed to get seated pretty quickly. Our server did a good job of explaining the menu and took our drink order. It was awkward to have my salad brought out first and eating at my husband's insistence. When I was done with my salad, the bread finally came out. I don't know if that's how the timing is supposed to be, but I didn't like it. Our food came out soon after the bread. For the price of his burger, my husband was expecting the patty to be a bit thicker. He seemed to like it otherwise. My fish and chips were good, although there weren't that many fries included. I asked for ranch and never received it, and our server didn't check on us very often after the food was delivered. There's a Bonefish Grill by my house, but I don't think I will be coming back to either location unless someone else is treating me to dinner. It's overpriced and I think they try to be more upscale than what they actually are.

There are good things on the menu. The chicken Marsala is tasty. The lobster roll on tuesdays is good (although there were some really bitter pieces of lobster on my roll.) Unfortunately, my first time experience at Bonefish was incomprehensible. As a seasoned restaurant employee and manager, this experience would have been redeemed by good service; however, after so many mistakes, our server Daniel seemed scared to approach our table and we were left to fend for ourselves. The dinner began with my entree lagging, which is understandable. However, when the runner placed my plate on the table, she knocked over a glass of wine, coating my dish and table. I thought that my meal could be salvaged other than the red wine infused salad. Then they cleaned the table...AND WIPED MY PLATE WITH A DISHTOWEL. Regardless if it was clean or not, the action was disgusting. I ignored that and continued to cut into my burger, which was grossly over cooked. They prepared another one which took approximately 40 minutes. By the time my food came out, not only had my 5 top completed their meals but the dishes had been cleared. Because of the time difference, I just boxed the meal. Finally, our water glasses remained empty the majority of the meal. As I stated previously, I have worked in restaurants for years, and my entire party with me this night were also experienced with restaurant work. Every mistake was redeemable, yet the quality of service and follow up was not there. It felt like the Sunday B team was scheduled.

My wife and I have eaten at Bonefish Grill many times since they opened their local restaurant. Our experiences have ranged from relatively terrible (bringing our bread only after we had to ask for some and then delivered it just as we ate our absolute last bite of our entrees) to maybe a 4 star rating a time or two. We visited last week and had another 'interesting' experience. They present their 'specials' on a small wooden pallet and offered 5 or 6 fish dinners either alone or as a price fixed option which included a salad and their donuts for desert. I ordered the Turbo meal price fixed with the salad and desert. My wife wanted the Char, I believe it was, and noticed the menu offered it at $19.95 for the dinner alone or $19.95 price fixed. She asked the waiter about this and he said there was a slight up charge. When asked what the up charge was, he said he wan't sure and would check on it. Coming back, he announced the up charge was $5.00. I pointed out that ALL of the other offerings where dinner was one price and offered the price fixed option- the up charge on those items was only $4.00! His reply- '$5.00 is what I was told'. My wife decided to select another item from the regular menu and asked to talk to the manager. The manager appeared several minutes later and presented us with a 'similar' special menu where the Char had a $4.00 up charge for the price fixed meal and pointed out the one given to my wife originally was an 'error'. I asked her why the waiter told us the up charge would be $5.00 and her reply was- he was wrong. She then left. It just seemed odd that they would present a menu which the waiter apparently knew was in error because he immediately said there would be an op charge, then misquote the up charge, and then to have the manager more or less treat the entire thing and a simple -of gosh! We were not looking for anything free but her attitude was pretty much there was an error- oh sorry. I have never been in a restaurant where they would not have offered to possibly comp s desert, offer to actually give her the item she wanted at the price on the menu-even though it was an error on the price (why didn't they either pull all menus in error or at least make a neat 'correction' on those- from the waiter's initial reaction he obviously knew there was an error). However, it was her nonchalant attitude and lack of sincerity that seemed a little cold to us as if we were bothering her.
Two things to start off my review: 1. The food is fantastic. 2. I know it was Mother's Day weekend. I'm only giving this trip two stars because of the food, and that just barely. On Saturday, May 11, 2013, I flew in from MN to CO and decided I would take the family back to Bonefish Grill since they enjoyed it last year. We walked up and were told it was a 50-minute wait. We decided to wait. And wait. And wait. Finally at 75-minutes, I went back up to the Hostess stand, where the woman told me we were next. And we waited. And waited. More people were seated ahead of us. Finally we were called up, and were told we'd be seated in the bar at a hightop. Both my parents are over 75 and my Mom walks with a cane now. I told the hostess, no, we would need to sit in the dining area. She hands me another pager and says, "Well, you'll have to wait for another table." I was fuming because she was rude and acted like it was my fault. So I stayed at the Hostess stand and waited. My parents asked why we were waiting and I told them because we had to wait for a table in the dining area, even though I saw an empty one in the dining area. Since I said it loud enough for her to hear, magically that exact table opened up for us. Careful what you wish for. This table was in the high-traffic area, so I chose the seat that I knew would get bumped by everyone walking by. And that it did. I'd rather have it happen to me than to anyone else in my party. All I ask is for the wait staff to be courteous and say, "I'm sorry" or "Excuse me", but not once was that offered. The Hostess must have said something to the Manager, because the moment we sat down, he came over and said he heard we weren't satisfied. I explained what happened and he said he hoped that they could make up for the experience. Drew C. was our server, and had this been a marathon, he would be good at sprinting and not a marathon. He started out strong and I thought we'd have our meal turn around. But like before, we waited. And waited. Notice the theme for the evening? We decided on splitting desserts, and should have thought twice about that, because it took at least 15 minutes to get our desserts. I was looking for Drew, who was nowhere to be found, and the same for the manager, to cancel our desserts and get our bill. At this point, it was getting close to our bedtime. Finally Drew came with the desserts and said his 'dessert girl' was running behind. That was a lie, because if he had just picked up the desserts, the ice cream wouldn't have been melted all over the plate. That meant it had obviously been sitting up there for some time. We paid and left, and the "experience" took well over 2 1/2, almost 3 hours. The food was good, but not that good. Mom later said to me, if the service was better, the evening would have been perfect. Do you think I would think twice about dropping over $100 on my family to get crappy service on Mother's Day or any other time at Bonefish Grill again? You bet I will. It's not like they are the only restaurant in the Springs. Such a shame for their brand. I've been to several of their locations in many states, and never had such bad service.

We arrived about 5 to avoid a wait, but had to wait about 15 minutes. We sat at the bar to have a drink. The bartender introduced themself and shook my husband's hand which I thought was unusual. Then they wrote all the names of the bartenders on a card and sat it on the bar. Interesting! We closed out our tab right away and were buzzed shortly. There were lots of tables open, but they seated us at a table a few feet from the hostess stand where there was lots of traffic. Should have asked for a better table when seated, but, oh well. The person who seated us mumbled something that was hard to hear and decipher. Our wait person greeted us and also mumbled. Timing was good, but, in the end, we were grateful that, at least the food is always good at Bonefish!! Possibly, the wait staff can use some training?!?

FORMERLY was a huge fan of Bonefish, but the last few visits have shown the troubling inconsistencies with staff and food quality. Today, was the last straw...I was embarrassed to have brought my friends here. Drink quality (mixed drinks) is not on par with a $10 drink. The Patron margarita was so terribly sweet ($12) that my friend took it directly to the bar to get it fixed properly. The service was painfully slow, 15 minutes to bring us our water; waiter never cleared off our table prior to the entrees arriving; food took much longer than usual with no communication from waiter (we couldn't even ask because Noah was never around). Worst part though is when the food arrived, the chicken in my friend's salad was visibly raw. This should never ever have left the kitchen as the chicken was already sliced. How dare they try to serve raw poultry to a visibly pregnant woman. We asked for another salad, the waiter was put off by this, but ultimately we had to cancel the salad because 20 minutes later the rest of the table had finished our meals and the salad was still not there. Despite the terrible service and one of our party leaving without having eaten, there was no apology from the staff, no explanation and they didn't even offer to comp a soda. SO DISAPPOINTED!

I think University Village may want to consider building a parking garage if they're going to keep adding businesses. We had to park over by Lowes.

To start, I'm from the Boston area...I'm spoiled when it comes to fresh seafood. I know if the lobster is Maine or Rock, if it was frozen, if it was overcooked, etc. Here is a VERY important tip to identify if you're getting good, quality seafood: the kitchen will cook it almost any way except fried. Oh the things frying will hide! (Ew) Wood grilled fish? Sign me up!! Fans of Legal Seafood, look no further than Bonefish. Their seafood is flown in 6 days a week. I unsuccessfully tried to find out which day it doesn't arrive (curiosity) but I would guess Monday. I didn't love the fish & chips but there was nothing 'wrong' with it; I just had huge expectations after an earlier lobster meal that made me feel back on the cape. Try the lemonade. Just do it. I swear it's fresh-squeezed. I'd like some right now! Landlocked seafood lovers rejoice--It may be a chain, but they've got it right.

My daughter had absolutely raved about Bonefish Grill and requested we go there for her birthday, and truthfully, I wasn't prepared to like it, but can say now I LOVE it! Yes, it is a bit pricey, but the food was excellent (Chilean Sea Bass is my new friend!), and all of the employees and manager were wonderful; we didn't have to wait, the music was perfect, and the restaurant was beautiful and clean! I do see that some posts mentioned about how they felt they were treated due to being "dressed down", but we went very casual, and with 2 teenagers, well, all I can say is that we were treated with the same amount of respect that was given to the persons who were definitely dressed more "classy and formal" - and that was probably 80% of the restaurant.

Yes, It's a chain restaurant, and I would prefer something local, but this is a good place to meet after work, and it's very tasty. The quality and price are great, and I would definitely go back again. I'm giving it 4 stars because I was not able to order what I originally wanted because they were out of that particular fish, and I was a little disappointed. if you are looking for a good drink/food place after work- I definitely recommend, there is plenty of space and a good selection.

Not awesome. Dinner for two - including an appetizer or two, a few cocktails, and main entrees will cost you over $100 which is fine. Probably closer to @125 including a tip. But for that price, it should be awesome - which it is not. The service was great. Didn't like the congested waiting area, despite having reservations. And a darkened dining room is romantic and all but you really need a flashlight to get around.

I have heard good things about this place and it is right near my college so I decided to give it a whirl around 3 pm one day. I wasn't dressed overly nice, and I could tell by my waitress' service that she expected I would not tip well. I ordered a drink, and after I had finished it, she dropped a glass of water off without asking if I would like another drink. I ordered an appetizer and a great meal. She brought out the bill before asking if I wanted dessert. She must have known the food was good, because she never asked. The food was cooked exactly how I wanted it, but when my friends asked me to go with them a week later, I suggested somewhere else. I do not wish to spend my money where I don't feel welcome. The table next to mine had two well-dressed businessmen. I could clearly see their experience with the same waitress was remarkably different than mine. :(

Basically, I hate chains. But I gave Bonefish a try shortly after it opened, and I have been back several times since. The fish is good (and I am not a huge fish fan) and I have ordered it every time with one exception. I got the steak that one time and it was also very good!! So if you are worried about the freshness - don't. It's a non-issue. The Bang-Bang shrimp is addictive and most of the entrees I have had (almost everything on the menu) met or exceeded expectations. However, I do feel there are some inconsistent issues with service. Frequently we sit at the "bar tables" which do not require a reservation. It's often the only resort when there is a wait for another table. And I think its a good option, sometimes better than a table. We've gotten served quickly and had attentive service at the bar tables. Sitting at a table in the restaurant proper, I've had AWFUL service (slow, as in drinks arriving after the entrees were almost all eaten; been ignored, and had the food take f-o-r-e-v-e-r with no explanation etc....). I wonder often if the bar is under staffed: drinks are amazing (love the espresso martini) but if often takes a very long time to get what you order, so plan ahead, especially if it is a bottle of wine with dinner, or a second cocktail....So that's what I mean about inconsistent issues. Otherwise, the majority of the staff is well educated about the food they are serving, and are willing to be flexible with prep (can I have a different fish as fish n chips? and the like), they also know about the drink specials - which is nice for sure. I'll be back, for sure. If I were to request one change it would be to rotate the specials more often, and bring back some of the more popular sides and more vegetarian options. I also really appreciate the mobile POS (Point of Sale) where they run your card right there in front of you - but again,most times its done that way, but not always!

I've been to two different bonefish grilles, both a delicious. Absolutely love the bang bang shrimp. This location has been busy every time I've been, so if you have a larger party I would definitely call ahead. The hostesses are a little unprofessional, but the wait staff and managers make up for it. Our table was waiting on just one meal being remade, even though the wait was minimal, we were all given free desserts for the trouble. Absolutely great employees going above and beyond.

My hubby and I had a great time hanging out on the beautiful patio and soaking up the late afternoon sun. We didn't have a wait, because we arrived just as it was opening Friday at 4pm. Rachel, our server was so cool! She seemed to magically appear whenever our water needed to be refilled, made great recommendations and was fun to chat with. I highly recommend the fresh strawberry martini. It was sooooo good! A refreshing drink, without too much sweet. The boom boom shrimp they are known for was pretty good too, although fried. I plan on enjoying the patio again in the near future.

Very disappointed in our latest visit to Bonefish. Service was slow and not particularly friendly. My wife's entree was cold and they delivered my side dish after I had almost finished the main course. We went for the first time last night. I knew ahead of time and from friends to make a reservation (which I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to eat here on a Friday night). Like other reviewers have stated, the dining room is not very well lit but we didnt really mind that aspect. Once we were seated, we noticed how packed people were in the dining area - the restaurant could probably use more space. Our service was excellent during the meal, but the food was just okay. Our appetizer was the calamari which was the highlight of our meal. My date ordered the shrimp and scallops and I ordered the salmon. Both dishes were very small and bland. Which was disapointing because it is a little on the pricer side. Overall, service was excellent but the food left something to be desired.

Our second time eating here. They were insanely busy both times but handled it well. We started with Bang Bang Shrimp and drinks. You can't go wrong there. We were not served the bread and dipping oil. Sadly, we had forgotten that this was a thing and didn't know to ask. I ordered the wood grilled scallops and shrimp and my wife had the tilapia. I added a Caesar salad which was good though the croutons could have been better. My dish came with 3 smallish scallops and 4 shrimp, served with sugar snap peas and garlic mashed potatoes. I would have preferred a baked potato but they don't offer them. The dish arrived very plainly served on a white plate with no garnish. The dish was far too small for the plate. White potatoes, whitish seafood, a few peas, no lemon wedge, nothing. That said...... the food was very good. My wife enjoyed her dish as well. I mentioned to my wife as we left that I couldn't remember the last time we ate out and were both completely satisfied. The bill was actually lower than we expected because the app was on special, the drinks were on happy hour and when I went online to make the reservation, they offered a 15% off coupon. Good stuff.

Loved this restaurant and decided to make a reservation and go on my birthday. Made a reservation online. Arrived on time and asked for a booth. (There were 2 booths open). Was offered a tiny table back by the rest rooms or a table right in the walk way. Was told the 2 open booths were for people that made reservations and asked for a booth. Didn't see that option online. Was also told would have to wait if we didn't take the crappy tables offered. What is the point of a reservation if that is the case. Hostess not friendly or helpful. This was a good meal. It was fairly reasonable for dinner, unless you order steak or the Chilean Sea Bass. I tried numerous appetizers and had the shrimp tacos. They were excellent. The pumpkin raviollies were very good as well. Every once in a while it is nice to eat something different. The only thing I didn't like was the corn chowder. It was nasty. The restaurant was a little too dark for my liking, but the servers were very friendly. Overall, I would say it is not bad for a chain restaurant.

Beautiful decor but a bit on the busy/loud side. Food was average to good but overpriced. The Boom boom? shrimp was good, but terribly unhealthy as it was breaded and sauced. The restaurant is beautiful but the food was Ok but not great. My salmon was under cooked and really bland. I don't think they seasoned it at all. Even lemon juice did nothing for it. The chic peas on the side were also bland and there were hardly any. Even the broccoli was bland and under steamed. My daughter's green beans were practically raw. The service was ok but I really expected better.The waiter was not very very attentive. I think they are trying really hard to be an upscale restaurant but the food & service don't match the decor. Over all I was not impressed.

Well I must say Bonefish is one of those places you just have to try. The food was amazing, the waiter was just perfect. But for some reason I think she had a fake "English" accent. I ordered the steak, which for the first time I got medium well. And let me tell you. No A1 steak sauce needed. The bathroom was very clean. Bonefish is now open for lunch on Saturdays and we were lucky enough to stop by yesterday. This place is not quite a hidden gem as it was very busy although no wait. All the servers are wonderful. Our server was KC and she was the perfect server. She was spot on with the service, knowing when we needed drinks and food. She suggested the corn/crab chowder and it was yummy. I also had the fish tacos which I asked to have the Tilapia have a simple grill which came out perfect. Husband had the Tilapia fish and chips. The breading was very light and very crunchy. It was nice to have Tilapia instead of Cod. Nice touch! The manager stopped by to see how our meal was. Best meal in a very long time. Kudos to KC for making our lunch a great experience.

I was expecting so much more from this place. First off, it's way better than the awful Red Lobster or Joe's Crab Shack. The fish menu is impressive, but the sauces are so over-powering, that they completely mask the subtle taste of your fish selection. Also, I found the service grating. Way too much up-selling. I felt like I was conversing at times with a used car salesman instead of a waiter. Very heavy handed. I told the waiter from the start I would not be ordering any cocktails, but insisted on going on for several minutes with great enthusiasm about all their drink specials, just so I would know in case i chose to order a cocktail on my next visit. He did the same over-sell with the appetizers and desserts. Very annoying! The place is crazy busy, which I suspect is due to the fact that it is still new and everyone wants to try it out. The place is a bit pricey for what it is (and considering it is a chain after-all). For these prices, one can get a better meal and have a more pleasant dining experience at a downtown eatery (see my other reviews for lot of downtown options.)

I'm not a guy who typically likes chains so its unusual for me to say anything about Bonefish Grill. However, this is a pretty good restaurant that consistently delivers good service and fresh, flavorful food. Maybe it's because good seafood is so hard to find in Colorado Springs! Regardless, it's a good choice! The longfin tilapia and the Maryland crab cakes were both well done and very tasty. Not too much filler in the crab cakes and lots of light, flaky crabmeat. The tilapia is terrific and very filling. The fresh vegetable sides were ok, not stellar and of course, you must have the obligatory bang bang shrimp!

Bonefish has been open for about three months at the Nevada location in Colorado Springs. It has some healthy competition in BJ's Brewery. In fact, some of it's staff left BJ's to work here. Bonefish is as trendy, but it's not as large. It also doesn't have a 16 page menu, and that was a relief. It is one sheet, food on the front and drinks on the back. There were some seafood items that were not trout or salmon, which is usual for Colorado Springs. There were also plenty of non-seafood selections for those with aversions or allergies. I recall about 10 appetizers and about 20 entrees. I didn't look at desserts, and didn't see a kids menu, maybe they have a separate one. They did have a separate "daily" menu, which had about six more fresh selections, mostly seafood. The very first impression was mixed. They were busy and upbeat, but there really wasn't a hostess station. They were using the end of a customer's table...the closest one to the door. I wouldn't have wanted to be sitting there. They gave us a pager and said it would be about 45 minutes. We went back outside (nowhere to really wait inside), and we were immediately greeted by a "rover" who asked if we would like to sit on the patio and have a drink or appetizer while we waited. It was a very comfortable area, and we had our drinks within minutes. We were called after about 25 minutes, so the greeter's estimate was off a little. When we were seated at the inside table, the first thing we noticed was the temperature...it was chilling! We saw a couple of people go to get sweaters or jackets from their cars. It was probably 20° cooler in the place then on the patio. Note to management...that needs to be fixed immediately. You cannot enjoy your food as much when you are shivering. Temperature should be set for the comfort of guests, not staff. And boy, were there a lot of staff. It appeared that they team the tables. Our main server was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Our orders came to the table in a reasonable amount of time. Service began with a loaf of hot baked bread and herbed olive oil. We selected the Saucy Shrimp for an appetizer, and it was just the right size and delicious. I ordered the New England lobster roll with kettle chips, my wife ordered Lily's Chicken. The lobster roll was tasty, but it was very light on the "lobster". It looked and tasted more like crayfish than lobster. The roll was authentic, but the filling was not overflowing it like you get in New England. I probably wouldn't order it again. The homemade kettle chips were simply the best I have ever had. Lily's Chicken was prepared and presented perfectly. My wife loved it, and would definitely order it again. Her sides of fresh veggie grill and potatoes were also very good. They have an ample selection of local craft beers and house wines, in addition to a respectable selection of varietals. If you like fresh seafood, you can't go wrong at Bonefish, but bring a sweater or jacket!

Living on the East Coast now I've always missed good seafood when I return home to the Springs, but not any longer! I've eaten at Bonefish in other areas so knew what to expect or measure this place up to. It absolutely lived up to it's reputation in other cities. The food was great. I had the seasonal scallops which were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. What really made this experience wonderful for us was the service though - phenomenal. You just don't get this level of customer service out East. We had a reservation for 9, things were hectic and we ended up with like 15 people....the waitstaff and hostess just ran with it thought and accommodated us while smiling. (I'd of been cussing had I been in their shoes) We were there with two families who had lost their homes in the Waldo Canyon Fire a few days prior and several of the staff came over to wish them well - very much appreciated. I look forward to visiting again when I'm home.

We went on a Friday night, just my husband and I. We called for reservations and were glad we did - if you go, call ahead otherwise you will more than likely be in for a good wait. We had requested a booth, but the only one they had was for a large party - so we took a small table (they were more than happy to have us sit at the large one, we just didn't want to take up that much space when they were so busy). Our server was KAILEN and he was EXCELLENT (and I don't just say that for all servers) - he knew the menu, he knew the beers... he was right there whenever we needed anything. The Bang Bang shrimp was delicious - if you go, make sure you try these... very very good. One plate was enough for us to share and be very happy. They were cooked perfectly and arrived in no time. Husband had a beer that Kailen suggested... and I even liked it (I HATE beer). It was the BTL Karma. I had the stuffed fish dinner (Imperial Longfin) which was delicious... would have liked it a little more spicy or more seasoned, but the fish was cooked perfectly. Have to say that I enjoyed the 'stuffing' more than the fish. Had the Au Gratin potatoes which were very good, but the other veggie side dish was a bit strange, squash with a sweet asian sauce, served cool (?). The sides are not large, one icecream scoop for the potatoes and a small serving spoon for veggies. My husband had the Shrimp and Scallops - but he requested all scallops. They were delicious... grilled perfectly. The two sauces he picked; one was green garlic/butter and the other was the Asian. He liked them ok, but said he would have preferred the Lemon butter sauce and maybe a spicy one. He also had the same side dishes that I did. The bread and oil was delicious. We did not have dessert... but will definitely come back and try one.

Bonefish Grill provides a consistently good meal and experience, and this visit was no exception. The Bang Bang Shrimp was cooked perfectly, and tasty as always. They had a wild caught Atlantic Salmon special which was good, yet a bit pricey as compared to the standard salmon on the menu... That said, it was quite a large portion. I have extra for breakfast tomorrow. I really enjoyed the Guava Mojito as well, because it was sweet and yet still refreshing... a dangerous drink indeed. The customer service was outstanding this visit, as the server was particularly attentive, friendly, and just plain fun. She made the entire visit worth it. As with every visit to Bonefish Grill in any state, they provided the consistently positive experience I've come to enjoy. Well done.

They built up the outside so it sits higher than the parking lot and installed glass panels to further the separation and noise from the parking lot. Coconut shrimp appetizer was amazing. We've eaten at other Bonefish Grills before and really like them. As time goes on, I think they will improve their service. The positives: food and drinks were very good. The place was very clean. Even though it was crowded, the noise level was good and the four of us could hear each other. Not so positives: We had reservations that seemed to mean nothing. When we gave them our name we were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait. The server seemed overwhelmed at times and seemed more like a robot. All of us ordered a glass of wine with dinner and only 3 of us got one. I flagged a waiter down as our server was very busy with a table of 8. Never saw the waiter again. Finally our server came over and said she would check on it. She had to come back and tell us she just put the wine order in so our friend got to drink her wine with a few bites of food left. The food portions are disappointing. Usually when we have an appetizer and entrees we have food to bring home. There was nothing to bring home and we still felt a little hungry. The value/cost is a little low. Can't speak about the women's restroom, but if you are going into the men's, bring a flashlight. It is really dark. Also, for a restaurant this size, the restroom is very small.

We had the Ahi Tuna and Bang Bang Shrimp for appetizers. Both were generous portions. Entrees were Crab Cakes, Fish and Chips and Salmon. My crab cakes seemed a little underdone, but there was definitely large chucks of crab and very little bread crumbs. Fish and chips were fried well and salmon was standard salmon. I didn't think Thursday night would be crowded, but the place was hopping. Even so, the staff was able to seat six of us rather quickly. Our server was excellent, even when we told her it would be five different tickets and alcohol had to paid for separately (it was a business trip). We had potstickers and sashimi for appetizers, both of which were excellent. Dinner choices ranged from Maryland Crab cakes to chicken to sushi, and no one had a complaint. I agree with other reviews about over cooked fish. I have been to a dozen Bone Fish Grilles across the country, and I would normally say that Bone Fish is the very best place to enjoy perfectly cooked fish. At this location unfortunately, the fish was over cooked for 3 of 4 people at our table, and my self the 4th person, was served raw tuna that was not fresh.(supposed to be seared and raw in the middle, the tuna just was not fresh) I am a fish snob, and the manager dared to argue about the quality of fish with me. I have been all over the world eating tuna and know fresh tuna when I eat it. Anyway I love Bone Fish Grille as a chain, but this location has some learning and growing to do. Fish is delicate and must be perfectly cooked, so it's not dry, and not raw when eaten. It's a fine line to walk. Service was good, and the manager comped my NOT FRESH tuna. I will probably just go to a Bone Fish in Denver next time, other wise I make better fish at home.

Wow. We had another perfect meal here. These people do fish right! We started out with the bang bang shrimp. So crispy and delicious with the tasty sauce. Drinks are great too, had the white sangria. Probably 3.5 stars Ambience: A little crowded but that's due to the fact that it is so popular (which is a good sign). A more upscale dining experience compared to most chains (more like PF Changs-type). Service: Good. A little heavy on the up-sell sometimes but fast and friendly. Food: Good but the sauces/spices are harsh and overwhelming. Nothing delicate about these seasonings. The popular bang-bang shrimp is great for one or two bites but just too rich to make you want to finish it all. Still, it's worth sharing amongst friends - especially on Wednesdays when it's $5. I appreciate the mix-and-match approach with fishes/sauces and the fact that some dishes can be ordered full or half-sized. But the mango sauce is very sweet and the Asian one is strong - like distilled soy+oyster sauce strong. I have also tried the Asian noodle bowl which was again over-sauced with several intense competing flavors. Pity really, as just about everything tastes fantastic for the first third of a plate, okay for the second but your palate will be blown out by the third. Drinks: I'm not much of a drinker, but I love some of their mixers. I tried the guava-cherry mohito and will definitely get it again. It was pretty light on the alcohol though. Cost: A little pricier than most chains but the quality of ingredients is better. You won't find fresher fish anywhere else outside a sushi bar in Colorado. I'm okay with going back again but I'm still looking for a more delicately flavored dish.

I Had dessert & drinks tonight at the bar inside Bonefish. Delicious bananas foster which was recommended by the bartenders enthusiastically. It was inexpensive and huge! We also had an ol fashioned & their seasonal Apple martini. Both great. I'm used to spending $10+ on martinis and this one was only $7. My boyfriend said his drink was average. What a mosh pit!! We had reservations for four at 6:30. We check in and were told that it would be about 15 min wait (6:45 now). After checking with the hostess several times on our table, and overhearing the wait for a walk-in was about an hour, we were seated at 7:30 (about the same as a walk-in)!!! What good are reservations made a week in advance if they dont mean anything more than a walk-in. What was nice was just sitting down after standing for an hour. Saw a Bonefish Grill in Southlake, TX but never had an opportunity to experience it. My sister told me if I wanted to go that I should make a reservation. That was the best part of Bonefish.... I was able to make a reservation online and there was no wait when we got there. I think $110.00 for three people is pretty excessive for what we got. My daughter and her boyfriend got the Share a Meal for $17.90. But keep in mind it's $17.90 per person! And the portions are very small. One scallop each for the appetizer, a salad each, and their meal was two coconut shrimp each and one crab cake each. They did each get a side each and one was scalloped potatoes, and the other was green beans but the portions were small. I had the Filet, mashed, and chickpeas (more garbanzo beans than chickpeas). We had tea and sodas, and shared a dessert. Somehow it totaled, with tip, $109. I won't be returning because thy want too much for very little food that wasn't that good.

The servers have all been excellent and the dringks are pretty good also. My only complaint is that it is too small and the tables are too close together, you knid of feel like you are on top of people. Some of the booths are ok, but the tables are jammed packed in. First the pros: Dinner and Lunch menu and service is excellent and I dine monthly at this restaurant The Cons: Brunch meal period including the menu selection and service is terrible. The menu items have changed within the last 2 months, currently all healthy items have been removed, ie; yogurt with fresh fruit, oatmeal, and egg white dishes. The crème burley French toast is two 1/2 inch slices of French baguette bread dipped in a sweet crème burley batter, too sweet and not much food for the price. Omelets appear to be cooked on a flat iron grill as they are thin and flat without much filling for the price. The fresh fruit compote was one day away from being baby food. The service was slow (but friendly) and the manager awkwardly approached the table recognizing thinks were not going well, but did a hit and run by the table, never introducing himself or asking if our experience was satisfactory. This was the second time we have had brunch here and will not return for brunch again.

I'm not much of a chain restaurant supporter, but we frequent this location often for Sunday brunch, especially after extra rowdy Saturday nights. The bubbles and brunch will set you back $20 or so but it's the best deal, by far. Bubbles. Bottomless mimosas, bellinis, and sangria. Win. Brunch. I always grab the Surf & Turf Eggs Bene; lobster and filet over poached eggs and hollandaise? Come on. So damn good. Flavor is consistent but my egg is always overpoached or my steak well-done.

We had an excellent experience at Bonefish Grill in Colorado Springs from service to delicious food. Though previous reviews indicated poor service, our waiter was prompt, funny, and incredibly responsive. In addition, the manager was out stopping by tables to check on the food and the service; she stopped by our table twice and we saw her several other times. We started with the lobster flatbread and the crab cakes. Both were fresh and full flavored. The sauce for the crab cakes had a kick - we all loved it. Outside of Baltimore, those were some of the best crab cakes we'd ever had. My only regret of the experience was not just ordering the crab cakes for my meal - I could have eaten just them all night. My dad had the Rockfish special. He had really wanted the grouper he'd eaten at the Bonefish in Florida, but the waiter recommended this as a non-fishy-tasting fish. He was pleased with the choice and liked the crab and lobster sauce atop. My mom had the scallops and shrimp. They were well cooked, flavorful, and a good size. She added the crab fried rice, which was also good. I had the lobster roll. It was good, but the crab cakes were better. I also had some Breckenridge Agave Wheat beer - awesome! The bottle I had was the last one, though. The only bummer of our meal. Overall, we had some great food and great service. Highly recommended.

Bonefish has really redeemed themselves the last few times my husband and I have been in. The only reason they are not getting 5 stars is because we came in once, waited over an hour for a table and then were never waited on. We sat for over 30 minutes at the table and a waiter simply never came by. We were so hungry by that point we went and had dinner elsewhere. The hostess who seated us didn't seem to care about the issue when we told her why we were leaving. Now for the good, the last 2 times we have been in we have sat at the bar and received the best service. The bar staff is quick and knowledgable. Our food came out hot and quickly. All around a great time.

Seafood in Colorado, I know I know, kind of a taboo subject. However Bonefish is great. Reasonable prices paired with fantastic service. This place is always packed so expect a wait. I'm not even a big lover of seafood, but everything I've ever had has been delicious. Great Happy Hour prices and selections! And Bang Bang Shrimp Wednesdays.

Have now eaten at Bonefish Grill twice for lunch. The restaurant is very well organized, background music is nice and at a perfect level, nice spacing between tables, and the restrooms are clean. Our groups, ranging from 3 to 10, were always seated promptly and service was spot-on. I am like many others, I gauge service by my drink levels. If it runs out, service is sub-par, if it always remains full, service is excellent. Yeah it might be a shallow way to do it, but I don't care what you think. I ordered a salad on my first visit and a burger on my second. Salad was great and I loved the presentation. Burger was good as well, but I did expect a larger patty for the price. I will be trying a fish dish on my next go around. On another note, I have dressed in a suit and tie for one visit and regular old work clothes for another - service has always been the same. Thank you for not judging me on what I wear, I hate that!

I guess it is ok as far as chains goes. I am not a chain fan, but I do end up at those types of restaurants sometimes when friends invite us out. This is just like the Bonefish we ate at in North Carolina. That's the downside of chains...no surprise. No originality. But I guess they can be safe for some due to their predictability. I had fish tacos which were their special and they were not bad, but not extraordinary either. One thing that really threw me for a loop were the condition of the servers clothing. Their aprons and shirts were all dirty. Like if they had been working for several hours in a row. It would have been understandable on an evening night...but for a Saturday lunch it seemed odd. I wonder if they don't change their aprons? Not sure. But it did not look very professional.

My family and I visited last night for the first time. We made reservations 4 pm. Since I did this on line instead of calling, I was offered a 15% off coupon. When we arrived and told them we had reservations, we were seated within seconds. It was a very positive experience. Our appetizers, main entree, everything tasted wonderful. Our waitress was amazing. She kept her eyes on us. When ours drinks were 3/4 empty, she had brought a new ones before we ever asked. She was top notch, excellent service. The manager came to everybodys table to ask how were doing, if we were enjoying our food, etc. We were very impressed so we will definitely be back again soon.

My chiro loves to talk about this place and won't stop telling me how amazing the food is here. Not going to lie, this is one of the best places I have ever been to in Colorado Springs! Walking in, I felt a little underdressed. I had on short shorts and flip flops. My attire was checked out head to toe as if judging how much I might tip. Didn't realize this place is a little more fancy than a Olive Garden but I'm still glad I checked it out. The service here is extremely slow, at least with our waitress. It was over 15 minutes before our drinks came out and she forgot my boyfriend's raspberry tea. For $3, it was the worst raspberry tea I have ever tried. It tasted just like a standard iced tea and the only time I ever noticed a raspberry flavor was after he put a little sweeter in it. As we were waiting, I looked around and noticed that everyone else had complimentary bread to snack on. Our bread didn't get to our table until our entrees did. The main course did take awhile to get to our table which further annoyed me. The bread was amazing but I didn't care for the oil dip any. Very flavorless. This place is a little pricey, more so than Olive Garden, just glad I had a coupon on hand when I walked in. Ordered the shrimp pad thai and it was phenomenal! I usually find myself picking off of my boyfriends plate if he got something fantastic but this time he couldn't stop testing my pad thai lol! I hate shrimp but tried it again. I usually find shrimp to be crunchy tasteless creatures but the shrimp pad thai brought out the flavor in them! Little spicy but just enough kick to really bring out the dish. I did notice our drinks were never refilled although our waitress passed by our table multiple times. I'll come in again but only with a coupon. Wasn't entirely satisfied with service here, very slow, didn't get bread initially, inattentive service, glasses weren't filled, kinda pricey.

Less than expected experience today after hearing decent reviews. Even though we had a reservation, staff was ill-prepared to serve our party of 10. Orders were given and server returned to confirm half, one diner wasn't informed until almost 10 minutes after being served that the rice she ordered wasn't coming because it's served at dinner only, iced teas weren't refilled despite the server acknowledging glasses were empty, and it was well over 30 minutes from ordering until food arrived over a 10 minute stretch. Food was good enough, but not enough to compensate for the overall poor experience.

I've just been here once, with my wife and daughter-unit. They had some happy hour drinks that were interesting and unique. I took away one star because my daughter and wife were not as enamored of Bonefish as I. I got an appetizer of shrimp in some sort of batter and it was very large. Perhaps even too large, it was sized to share, perhaps for four as an appetizer or two as a light meal. I haven't been back because the wife-unit always suggests somewhere else instead, but I think I may go solo or with some other friends. It was a little pricey, but I felt that the value was excellent so I have no complaints. We showed up without a reservation on a busy night, but the hostess explained that they have a policy of leaving a few tables available and not "reserving" the entire restaurant. I like the policy--it leaves them some slack if someone lingers or someone shows up early and it got me in that night.

Four of us have just returned from Bonefish Grill and are pleasantly surprised. We eat together once a month and in the last few years this has only been the second Restaurant where we came away satisfied. Sunday lunch was busy and it took a bit to get the waiter, but after ordering and having the beverages, he never let us out of his sight. The portions were perfect for us for lunch, well seasoned, perfectly cooked and I have to say, I did not have better crab cakes since I was in Maine. I was also surprised that I received the club soda I ordered for free : most places will charge you. All in all a great experience and I will drive the 22 miles from here any time just to try the fish & chips...my favorite!! Good job Bonefish Grill.

We stopped in here one Sunday afternoon to avoid traffic and headaches from an accident blocking I-25. This was our first visit to a restaurant of this chain. We managed to get seated pretty quickly. Our server did a good job of explaining the menu and took our drink order. It was awkward to have my salad brought out first and eating at my husband's insistence. When I was done with my salad, the bread finally came out. I don't know if that's how the timing is supposed to be, but I didn't like it. Our food came out soon after the bread. For the price of his burger, my husband was expecting the patty to be a bit thicker. He seemed to like it otherwise. My fish and chips were good, although there weren't that many fries included. I asked for ranch and never received it, and our server didn't check on us very often after the food was delivered. There's a Bonefish Grill by my house, but I don't think I will be coming back to either location unless someone else is treating me to dinner. It's overpriced and I think they try to be more upscale than what they actually are.

It took a long time to get drinks and they mixed the food orders up. My aunt has celiac and can't have gluten. They messed that up, but thankfully caught it on time. There are good things on the menu. The chicken Marsala is tasty. The lobster roll on tuesdays is good (although there were some really bitter pieces of lobster on my roll.) It seems like it depends on who is cooking that day. It can be a hit or a miss.

Unfortunately, my first time experience at Bonefish was incomprehensible. As a seasoned restaurant employee and manager, this experience would have been redeemed by good service; however, after so many mistakes, our server Daniel seemed scared to approach our table and we were left to fend for ourselves. The dinner began with my entree lagging, which is understandable. However, when the runner placed my plate on the table, she knocked over a glass of wine, coating my dish and table. I thought that my meal could be salvaged other than the red wine infused salad. Then they cleaned the table...AND WIPED MY PLATE WITH A DISHTOWEL. Regardless if it was clean or not, the action was disgusting. I ignored that and continued to cut into my burger, which was grossly over cooked. They prepared another one which took approximately 40 minutes. By the time my food came out, not only had my 5 top completed their meals but the dishes had been cleared. Because of the time difference, I just boxed the meal. Finally, our water glasses remained empty the majority of the meal. As I stated previously, I have worked in restaurants for years, and my entire party with me this night were also experienced with restaurant work. Every mistake was redeemable, yet the quality of service and follow up was not there. It felt like the Sunday B team was scheduled.

My wife and I have eaten at Bonefish Grill many times since they opened their local restaurant. Our experiences have ranged from relatively terrible (bringing our bread only after we had to ask for some and then delivered it just as we ate our absolute last bite of our entrees) to maybe a 4 star rating a time or two. We visited last week and had another 'interesting' experience. They present their 'specials' on a small wooden pallet and offered 5 or 6 fish dinners either alone or as a price fixed option which included a salad and their donuts for desert. I ordered the Turbo meal price fixed with the salad and desert. My wife wanted the Char, I believe it was, and noticed the menu offered it at $19.95 for the dinner alone or $19.95 price fixed. She asked the waiter about this and he said there was a slight up charge. When asked what the up charge was, he said he wan't sure and would check on it. Coming back, he announced the up charge was $5.00. I pointed out that ALL of the other offerings where dinner was one price and offered the price fixed option- the up charge on those items was only $4.00! His reply- '$5.00 is what I was told'. My wife decided to select another item from the regular menu and asked to talk to the manager. The manager appeared several minutes later and presented us with a 'similar' special menu where the Char had a $4.00 up charge for the price fixed meal and pointed out the one given to my wife originally was an 'error'. I asked her why the waiter told us the up charge would be $5.00 and her reply was- he was wrong. She then left. It just seemed odd that they would present a menu which the waiter apparently knew was in error because he immediately said there would be an op charge, then misquote the up charge, and then to have the manager more or less treat the entire thing and a simple -of gosh! We were not looking for anything free but her attitude was pretty much there was an error- oh sorry. I have never been in a restaurant where they would not have offered to possibly comp s desert, offer to actually give her the item she wanted at the price on the menu-even though it was an error on the price (why didn't they either pull all menus in error or at least make a neat 'correction' on those- from the waiter's initial reaction he obviously knew there was an error). However, it was her nonchalant attitude and lack of sincerity that seemed a little cold to us as if we were bothering her.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our Bonefish experience. We sat on the patio facing the mountains in the evening. It was perfect! We initially ordered the lobster flatbread, and I ordered a fresh pineapple martini. The flatbread order got mixed up and my original order of rockfish wasn't available, but the staff was extremely apologetic and offered us the appetizer and a dessert on the house. The pineapple martini was to die for, and the flatbread was amazing! I ended up ordering the ribeye with lobster Thermidor, sweet potato mash, and seasonal veggies. My husband also had the ribeye but with grilled shrimp and garlic mashed potatoes. The steaks were tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, and the sides were delicious, also. We tried the creme brûlée for dessert. It was good, but cold. I've only had it one other time, and it was warm. I prefer it warm. Our waitress was busy with a large party inside, but since we weren't in a hurry and the other staff were so attentive, we enjoyed our time there. Because the staff was so accommodating, I'm going to go ahead with 5 stars. If you're looking for good food and nice atmosphere, this is the place for you!

Two things to start off my review: 1. The food is fantastic. 2. I know it was Mother's Day weekend. I'm only giving this trip two stars because of the food, and that just barely. On Saturday, May 11, 2013, I flew in from MN to CO and decided I would take the family back to Bonefish Grill since they enjoyed it last year. We walked up and were told it was a 50-minute wait. We decided to wait. And wait. And wait. Finally at 75-minutes, I went back up to the Hostess stand, where the woman told me we were next. And we waited. And waited. More people were seated ahead of us. Finally we were called up, and were told we'd be seated in the bar at a hightop. Both my parents are over 75 and my Mom walks with a cane now. I told the hostess, no, we would need to sit in the dining area. She hands me another pager and says, "Well, you'll have to wait for another table." I was fuming because she was rude and acted like it was my fault. So I stayed at the Hostess stand and waited. My parents asked why we were waiting and I told them because we had to wait for a table in the dining area, even though I saw an empty one in the dining area. Since I said it loud enough for her to hear, magically that exact table opened up for us. Careful what you wish for. This table was in the high-traffic area, so I chose the seat that I knew would get bumped by everyone walking by. And that it did. I'd rather have it happen to me than to anyone else in my party. All I ask is for the wait staff to be courteous and say, "I'm sorry" or "Excuse me", but not once was that offered. The Hostess must have said something to the Manager, because the moment we sat down, he came over and said he heard we weren't satisfied. I explained what happened and he said he hoped that they could make up for the experience. Drew C. was our server, and had this been a marathon, he would be good at sprinting and not a marathon. He started out strong and I thought we'd have our meal turn around. But like before, we waited. And waited. Notice the theme for the evening? We decided on splitting desserts, and should have thought twice about that, because it took at least 15 minutes to get our desserts. I was looking for Drew, who was nowhere to be found, and the same for the manager, to cancel our desserts and get our bill. At this point, it was getting close to our bedtime. Finally Drew came with the desserts and said his 'dessert girl' was running behind. That was a lie, because if he had just picked up the desserts, the ice cream wouldn't have been melted all over the plate. That meant it had obviously been sitting up there for some time. We paid and left, and the "experience" took well over 2 1/2, almost 3 hours. The food was good, but not that good. Mom later said to me, if the service was better, the evening would have been perfect. Do you think I would think twice about dropping over $100 on my family to get crappy service on Mother's Day or any other time at Bonefish Grill again? You bet I will. It's not like they are the only restaurant in the Springs. Such a shame for their brand. I've been to several of their locations in many states, and never had such bad service.

We arrived about 5 to avoid a wait, but had to wait about 15 minutes. We sat at the bar to have a drink. The bartender introduced themself and shook my husband's hand which I thought was unusual. Then they wrote all the names of the bartenders on a card and sat it on the bar. Interesting! We closed out our tab right away and were buzzed shortly. There were lots of tables open, but they seated us at a table a few feet from the hostess stand where there was lots of traffic. Should have asked for a better table when seated, but, oh well. The person who seated us mumbled something that was hard to hear and decipher. Our wait person greeted us and also mumbled. Timing was good, but, in the end, we were grateful that, at least the food is always good at Bonefish!! Possibly, the wait staff can use some training?!?

FORMERLY was a huge fan of Bonefish, but the last few visits have shown the troubling inconsistencies with staff and food quality. Today, was the last straw...I was embarrassed to have brought my friends here. Drink quality (mixed drinks) is not on par with a $10 drink. The Patron margarita was so terribly sweet ($12) that my friend took it directly to the bar to get it fixed properly. The service was painfully slow, 15 minutes to bring us our water; waiter never cleared off our table prior to the entrees arriving; food took much longer than usual with no communication from waiter (we couldn't even ask because Noah was never around). Worst part though is when the food arrived, the chicken in my friend's salad was visibly raw. This should never ever have left the kitchen as the chicken was already sliced. How dare they try to serve raw poultry to a visibly pregnant woman. We asked for another salad, the waiter was put off by this, but ultimately we had to cancel the salad because 20 minutes later the rest of the table had finished our meals and the salad was still not there. Despite the terrible service and one of our party leaving without having eaten, there was no apology from the staff, no explanation and they didn't even offer to comp a soda. SO DISAPPOINTED!

We had a great experience even for a chain. Seafood is dicey in a landlocked state but overall it was good. They have "Arrogant Bastard" on tap, come on! Good service. I think University Village may want to consider building a parking garage if they're going to keep adding businesses. We had to park over by Lowes.

To start, I'm from the Boston area...I'm spoiled when it comes to fresh seafood. I know if the lobster is Maine or Rock, if it was frozen, if it was overcooked, etc. Here is a VERY important tip to identify if you're getting good, quality seafood: the kitchen will cook it almost any way except fried. Oh the things frying will hide! (Ew) Wood grilled fish? Sign me up!! Fans of Legal Seafood, look no further than Bonefish. Their seafood is flown in 6 days a week. I unsuccessfully tried to find out which day it doesn't arrive (curiosity) but I would guess Monday. I didn't love the fish & chips but there was nothing 'wrong' with it; I just had huge expectations after an earlier lobster meal that made me feel back on the cape. Try the lemonade. Just do it. I swear it's fresh-squeezed. I'd like some right now! Landlocked seafood lovers rejoice--It may be a chain, but they've got it right.

My daughter had absolutely raved about Bonefish Grill and requested we go there for her birthday, and truthfully, I wasn't prepared to like it, but can say now I LOVE it! Yes, it is a bit pricey, but the food was excellent (Chilean Sea Bass is my new friend!), and all of the employees and manager were wonderful; we didn't have to wait, the music was perfect, and the restaurant was beautiful and clean! I do see that some posts mentioned about how they felt they were treated due to being "dressed down", but we went very casual, and with 2 teenagers, well, all I can say is that we were treated with the same amount of respect that was given to the persons who were definitely dressed more "classy and formal" - and that was probably 80% of the restaurant.

great first visit here. I have been to the chain before, so the expeirnce wasnt new. Great service and we were quickly seated. Definitely call ahead though. We rolled right past a bunch of folks that walked in. Food was soiid, wife and i left happy. one star off for noise level. Its quite high. Also, don't take the table next to the door. people waiting for their tables spill over to this area, so you have people standing around while you are trying to have a conversation.

Yes, It's a chain restaurant, and I would prefer something local, but this is a good place to meet after work, and it's very tasty. The quality and price are great, and I would definitely go back again. I'm giving it 4 stars because I was not able to order what I originally wanted because they were out of that particular fish, and I was a little disappointed. if you are looking for a good drink/food place after work- I definitely recommend, there is plenty of space and a good selection.

Not awesome. Dinner for two - including an appetizer or two, a few cocktails, and main entrees will cost you over $100 which is fine. Probably closer to @125 including a tip. But for that price, it should be awesome - which it is not. The service was great. Didn't like the congested waiting area, despite having reservations. And a darkened dining room is romantic and all but you really need a flashlight to get around.

I have heard good things about this place and it is right near my college so I decided to give it a whirl around 3 pm one day. I wasn't dressed overly nice, and I could tell by my waitress' service that she expected I would not tip well. I ordered a drink, and after I had finished it, she dropped a glass of water off without asking if I would like another drink. I ordered an appetizer and a great meal. She brought out the bill before asking if I wanted dessert. She must have known the food was good, because she never asked. The food was cooked exactly how I wanted it, but when my friends asked me to go with them a week later, I suggested somewhere else. I do not wish to spend my money where I don't feel welcome. The table next to mine had two well-dressed businessmen. I could clearly see their experience with the same waitress was remarkably different than mine. :(

Basically, I hate chains. But I gave Bonefish a try shortly after it opened, and I have been back several times since. The fish is good (and I am not a huge fish fan) and I have ordered it every time with one exception. I got the steak that one time and it was also very good!! So if you are worried about the freshness - don't. It's a non-issue. The Bang-Bang shrimp is addictive and most of the entrees I have had (almost everything on the menu) met or exceeded expectations. However, I do feel there are some inconsistent issues with service. Frequently we sit at the "bar tables" which do not require a reservation. It's often the only resort when there is a wait for another table. And I think its a good option, sometimes better than a table. We've gotten served quickly and had attentive service at the bar tables. Sitting at a table in the restaurant proper, I've had AWFUL service (slow, as in drinks arriving after the entrees were almost all eaten; been ignored, and had the food take f-o-r-e-v-e-r with no explanation etc....). I wonder often if the bar is under staffed: drinks are amazing (love the espresso martini) but if often takes a very long time to get what you order, so plan ahead, especially if it is a bottle of wine with dinner, or a second cocktail....So that's what I mean about inconsistent issues. Otherwise, the majority of the staff is well educated about the food they are serving, and are willing to be flexible with prep (can I have a different fish as fish n chips? and the like), they also know about the drink specials - which is nice for sure. I'll be back, for sure. If I were to request one change it would be to rotate the specials more often, and bring back some of the more popular sides and more vegetarian options. I also really appreciate the mobile POS (Point of Sale) where they run your card right there in front of you - but again,most times its done that way, but not always!

I've been to two different bonefish grilles, both a delicious. Absolutely love the bang bang shrimp. This location has been busy every time I've been, so if you have a larger party I would definitely call ahead. The hostesses are a little unprofessional, but the wait staff and managers make up for it. Our table was waiting on just one meal being remade, even though the wait was minimal, we were all given free desserts for the trouble. Absolutely great employees going above and beyond.

Tuna tacos with asian slaw are Fabulous! There's only three small tacos (but big tender pieces of seared tuna) since they're an appetizer. Seriously give me three more and call it a meal! My hubby and I had a great time hanging out on the beautiful patio and soaking up the late afternoon sun. We didn't have a wait, because we arrived just as it was opening Friday at 4pm. Rachel, our server was so cool! She seemed to magically appear whenever our water needed to be refilled, made great recommendations and was fun to chat with. I highly recommend the fresh strawberry martini. It was sooooo good! A refreshing drink, without too much sweet. The boom boom shrimp they are known for was pretty good too, although fried. I plan on enjoying the patio again in the near future.

Very disappointed in our latest visit to Bonefish. Service was slow and not particularly friendly. My wife's entree was cold and they delivered my side dish after I had almost finished the main course. Not sure why the quality standards have fallen at this restaurant but I will not be so eager to dine here in the future.

We went for the first time last night. I knew ahead of time and from friends to make a reservation (which I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to eat here on a Friday night). Like other reviewers have stated, the dining room is not very well lit but we didnt really mind that aspect. Once we were seated, we noticed how packed people were in the dining area - the restaurant could probably use more space. Our service was excellent during the meal, but the food was just okay. Our appetizer was the calamari which was the highlight of our meal. My date ordered the shrimp and scallops and I ordered the salmon. Both dishes were very small and bland. Which was disapointing because it is a little on the pricer side. Overall, service was excellent but the food left something to be desired.

Our second time eating here. They were insanely busy both times but handled it well. We started with Bang Bang Shrimp and drinks. You can't go wrong there. We were not served the bread and dipping oil. Sadly, we had forgotten that this was a thing and didn't know to ask. I ordered the wood grilled scallops and shrimp and my wife had the tilapia. I added a Caesar salad which was good though the croutons could have been better. My dish came with 3 smallish scallops and 4 shrimp, served with sugar snap peas and garlic mashed potatoes. I would have preferred a baked potato but they don't offer them. The dish arrived very plainly served on a white plate with no garnish. The dish was far too small for the plate. White potatoes, whitish seafood, a few peas, no lemon wedge, nothing. That said...... the food was very good. My wife enjoyed her dish as well. I mentioned to my wife as we left that I couldn't remember the last time we ate out and were both completely satisfied. The bill was actually lower than we expected because the app was on special, the drinks were on happy hour and when I went online to make the reservation, they offered a 15% off coupon. Good stuff.

Loved this restaurant and decided to make a reservation and go on my birthday. Made a reservation online. Arrived on time and asked for a booth. (There were 2 booths open). Was offered a tiny table back by the rest rooms or a table right in the walk way. Was told the 2 open booths were for people that made reservations and asked for a booth. Didn't see that option online. Was also told would have to wait if we didn't take the crappy tables offered. What is the point of a reservation if that is the case. Hostess not friendly or helpful. Nice way to be treated on your Birthday. Will not return.

This was a good meal. It was fairly reasonable for dinner, unless you order steak or the Chilean Sea Bass. I tried numerous appetizers and had the shrimp tacos. They were excellent. The pumpkin raviollies were very good as well. Every once in a while it is nice to eat something different. The only thing I didn't like was the corn chowder. It was nasty. The restaurant was a little too dark for my liking, but the servers were very friendly. Overall, I would say it is not bad for a chain restaurant.

Beautiful decor but a bit on the busy/loud side. Food was average to good but overpriced. The Boom boom? shrimp was good, but terribly unhealthy as it was breaded and sauced. It was served in a heaping pile so it was definitely a good value. The crab cake was amazing and probably the best item we had. The Ahi tuna bowl was good but a little under flavored and too many seeds on the coating. I would go back, but I'd look for a better value elsewhere first.

This place is great with customer service and food is pretty amazing...the Mussels and Bang Bang Shrimp they are both to die for...I had the Ahi Tuna Tokyo Style and it was delicious. Jasmine rice, sesame seed crusted seared ahi, sautéed veggies with a hint of sesame vinaigrette/sauce blended so well with everything...Creme brûlée made my mouth and stomach smile...definitely great eating...ask for David...will bring whatever you ask and had amazing customer service and knowledge of menu was impeccable

The restaurant is beautiful but the food was Ok but not great. My salmon was under cooked and really bland. I don't think they seasoned it at all. Even lemon juice did nothing for it. The chic peas on the side were also bland and there were hardly any. Even the broccoli was bland and under steamed. My daughter's green beans were practically raw. The service was ok but I really expected better.The waiter was not very very attentive. I think they are trying really hard to be an upscale restaurant but the food & service don't match the decor. Over all I was not impressed.

I've been to bonefish more times than I can count. I love their sunday brunch. They have a deal called "Endless Bubbles". $20 gets you yummy brunch and all you can drink mimosa's. Its heaven. And the staff is always fast and friendly.

Well I must say Bonefish is one of those places you just have to try. The food was amazing, the waiter was just perfect. But for some reason I think she had a fake "English" accent. I ordered the steak, which for the first time I got medium well. And let me tell you. No A1 steak sauce needed. The bathroom was very clean. I almost thought I was at my own house the way the bathroom was spot less. But I will say this, don't come to Bonefish trying to pinch pennies. Overall I will be going back here sometime soon..

Bonefish is now open for lunch on Saturdays and we were lucky enough to stop by yesterday. This place is not quite a hidden gem as it was very busy although no wait. All the servers are wonderful. Our server was KC and she was the perfect server. She was spot on with the service, knowing when we needed drinks and food. She suggested the corn/crab chowder and it was yummy. I also had the fish tacos which I asked to have the Tilapia have a simple grill which came out perfect. Husband had the Tilapia fish and chips. The breading was very light and very crunchy. It was nice to have Tilapia instead of Cod. Nice touch! The manager stopped by to see how our meal was. Best meal in a very long time. Kudos to KC for making our lunch a great experience.

I was expecting so much more from this place. First off, it's way better than the awful Red Lobster or Joe's Crab Shack. The fish menu is impressive, but the sauces are so over-powering, that they completely mask the subtle taste of your fish selection. Also, I found the service grating. Way too much up-selling. I felt like I was conversing at times with a used car salesman instead of a waiter. Very heavy handed. I told the waiter from the start I would not be ordering any cocktails, but insisted on going on for several minutes with great enthusiasm about all their drink specials, just so I would know in case i chose to order a cocktail on my next visit. He did the same over-sell with the appetizers and desserts. Very annoying! The place is crazy busy, which I suspect is due to the fact that it is still new and everyone wants to try it out. The place is a bit pricey for what it is (and considering it is a chain after-all). For these prices, one can get a better meal and have a more pleasant dining experience at a downtown eatery (see my other reviews for lot of downtown options.)

I'm not a guy who typically likes chains so its unusual for me to say anything about Bonefish Grill. However, this is a pretty good restaurant that consistently delivers good service and fresh, flavorful food. Maybe it's because good seafood is so hard to find in Colorado Springs! Regardless, it's a good choice! The longfin tilapia and the Maryland crab cakes were both well done and very tasty. Not too much filler in the crab cakes and lots of light, flaky crabmeat. The tilapia is terrific and very filling. The fresh vegetable sides were ok, not stellar and of course, you must have the obligatory bang bang shrimp!

Bonefish has been open for about three months at the Nevada location in Colorado Springs. It has some healthy competition in BJ's Brewery. In fact, some of it's staff left BJ's to work here. Bonefish is as trendy, but it's not as large. It also doesn't have a 16 page menu, and that was a relief. It is one sheet, food on the front and drinks on the back. There were some seafood items that were not trout or salmon, which is usual for Colorado Springs. There were also plenty of non-seafood selections for those with aversions or allergies. I recall about 10 appetizers and about 20 entrees. I didn't look at desserts, and didn't see a kids menu, maybe they have a separate one. They did have a separate "daily" menu, which had about six more fresh selections, mostly seafood. The very first impression was mixed. They were busy and upbeat, but there really wasn't a hostess station. They were using the end of a customer's table...the closest one to the door. I wouldn't have wanted to be sitting there. They gave us a pager and said it would be about 45 minutes. We went back outside (nowhere to really wait inside), and we were immediately greeted by a "rover" who asked if we would like to sit on the patio and have a drink or appetizer while we waited. It was a very comfortable area, and we had our drinks within minutes. We were called after about 25 minutes, so the greeter's estimate was off a little. When we were seated at the inside table, the first thing we noticed was the temperature...it was chilling! We saw a couple of people go to get sweaters or jackets from their cars. It was probably 20° cooler in the place then on the patio. Note to management...that needs to be fixed immediately. You cannot enjoy your food as much when you are shivering. Temperature should be set for the comfort of guests, not staff. And boy, were there a lot of staff. It appeared that they team the tables. Our main server was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Our orders came to the table in a reasonable amount of time. Service began with a loaf of hot baked bread and herbed olive oil. We selected the Saucy Shrimp for an appetizer, and it was just the right size and delicious. I ordered the New England lobster roll with kettle chips, my wife ordered Lily's Chicken. The lobster roll was tasty, but it was very light on the "lobster". It looked and tasted more like crayfish than lobster. The roll was authentic, but the filling was not overflowing it like you get in New England. I probably wouldn't order it again. The homemade kettle chips were simply the best I have ever had. Lily's Chicken was prepared and presented perfectly. My wife loved it, and would definitely order it again. Her sides of fresh veggie grill and potatoes were also very good. They have an ample selection of local craft beers and house wines, in addition to a respectable selection of varietals. If you like fresh seafood, you can't go wrong at Bonefish, but bring a sweater or jacket!

Dim lit and romantic. Got the ginger dumplings for the appetizer which was delicious. Got the ahi tuna rice bowl for dinner the small portion was sufficient. Friendly staff, service is ok, a little too frequently visiting the table which kind if got pushy/annoying and then not visiting at all once the check is paid. Me and my friend sat and chatted after paying with empty water, we had to ask for more, I guess it's a pay and leave kind of place.

Living on the East Coast now I've always missed good seafood when I return home to the Springs, but not any longer! I've eaten at Bonefish in other areas so knew what to expect or measure this place up to. It absolutely lived up to it's reputation in other cities. The food was great. I had the seasonal scallops which were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. What really made this experience wonderful for us was the service though - phenomenal. You just don't get this level of customer service out East. We had a reservation for 9, things were hectic and we ended up with like 15 people....the waitstaff and hostess just ran with it thought and accommodated us while smiling. (I'd of been cussing had I been in their shoes) We were there with two families who had lost their homes in the Waldo Canyon Fire a few days prior and several of the staff came over to wish them well - very much appreciated. I look forward to visiting again when I'm home.

This place is great! If you are looking for fresh fish in land locked Colorado this is it. I have been here multiple times; the food and service is always above and beyond what you expect from a large chain restaurant. The Bang Bang Shrimp are great regular style or gluten free style. The Chilean Sea Bass and Salmon are great choices. You also can't go wrong with the gluten free brownie.

We went on a Friday night, just my husband and I. We called for reservations and were glad we did - if you go, call ahead otherwise you will more than likely be in for a good wait. We had requested a booth, but the only one they had was for a large party - so we took a small table (they were more than happy to have us sit at the large one, we just didn't want to take up that much space when they were so busy). Our server was KAILEN and he was EXCELLENT (and I don't just say that for all servers) - he knew the menu, he knew the beers... he was right there whenever we needed anything. The Bang Bang shrimp was delicious - if you go, make sure you try these... very very good. One plate was enough for us to share and be very happy. They were cooked perfectly and arrived in no time. Husband had a beer that Kailen suggested... and I even liked it (I HATE beer). It was the BTL Karma. I had the stuffed fish dinner (Imperial Longfin) which was delicious... would have liked it a little more spicy or more seasoned, but the fish was cooked perfectly. Have to say that I enjoyed the 'stuffing' more than the fish. Had the Au Gratin potatoes which were very good, but the other veggie side dish was a bit strange, squash with a sweet asian sauce, served cool (?). The sides are not large, one icecream scoop for the potatoes and a small serving spoon for veggies. My husband had the Shrimp and Scallops - but he requested all scallops. They were delicious... grilled perfectly. The two sauces he picked; one was green garlic/butter and the other was the Asian. He liked them ok, but said he would have preferred the Lemon butter sauce and maybe a spicy one. He also had the same side dishes that I did. The bread and oil was delicious. We did not have dessert... but will definitely come back and try one.

Ordinarily we are not interested in chains, but we have been to two other Bonefish Grills in other parts of the country a few years ago and were pretty happy with their output. So when we heard Colo Spgs was getting our own BG, we were so pleased to have something other than Red Lobster to get seafood outside of buying and cooking it ourselves! I mourned the passing of the independently-owned Palapa's Surfside (which is now Jose Muldoon's East) many years ago with its innovative and fresh take on ocean goods, but the prices, which were reasonable to me given the quality and types of fish available, were a bit too high for that location. Bonefish should be able to fill in the need for us landlocked, trout-eating people! Last night we went to this location for the first time. FOOD: We didn't get bread and olive oil like the other reviewers here. If I had known, I would've asked for some because we certainly weren't offered any. Calamari was great. Not soggy, the breading was perfect, and the green onions and few strips of fried peppers added an interesting dimension. Some pieces were large and we had to use knife and fork to cut them into manageable pieces. My swordfish was excellent - juicy and filling like a steak, and perfectly grilled and topped with feta. I loved the ravioli with creamy pumpkin inside the 4 large pastas in a shallot brown butter. And the side of edamame and corn mash filled me up in the end. The boyfriend's sea bass, on the other hand, was average, maybe even less than average. When we make it, ours turns out much more tender and melts in our mouths; BG's sea bass was overcooked and dry on the outside, but somehow the inside remained soft. The result was a non-pleasant, weirdly stringy chewiness. However, I really liked his potato au gratin, but he thought it was too cheesy. It also came with a side of edamame and corn mash. Finally, my Black Berry Elixir non-alcoholic drink had a refreshing flavor with 3 real blackberries inside, but I felt overall it was a bit too flat. Maybe use soda and muddle up the blackberries and lemon wedge a bit more? AMBIENCE: We arrived at 5:30pm without a reservation, and I think we were one of the last to be seated right away. IT WAS PACKED - Springs diners seem to like to eat out early. We were greeted right away upon walking in by uniformed, smiling staff. You can dress up or down here, and most customers were in the 30+ age range who met up for dinner after work as most everyone was in business casual. This BG was just like all the others: similar colors, layout, décor all melding traditional with trendy. Brown paper lined out on each table. Parking is plenty, but don't expect to be close if you're there near the dinner hour: we had to park at Lowes and walk over. SERVICE: Food came out efficiently and fast; perhaps too fast. We were still finishing up our apps when the entrees arrived. I wondered how quickly corporate tells these places to turn over tables. Other than that, it was obvious the servers had been trained in most other aspects, and ours came back to check on us at appropriate intervals. They were all an upbeat, accommodating, and coordinated team, but we already expected that from a successful chain restaurant. Our waters were kept full throughout and they never stopped smiling. Overall, for a chain, I do recommend it!

Bonefish Grill provides a consistently good meal and experience, and this visit was no exception. The Bang Bang Shrimp was cooked perfectly, and tasty as always. They had a wild caught Atlantic Salmon special which was good, yet a bit pricey as compared to the standard salmon on the menu... That said, it was quite a large portion. I have extra for breakfast tomorrow. I really enjoyed the Guava Mojito as well, because it was sweet and yet still refreshing... a dangerous drink indeed. The customer service was outstanding this visit, as the server was particularly attentive, friendly, and just plain fun. She made the entire visit worth it. As with every visit to Bonefish Grill in any state, they provided the consistently positive experience I've come to enjoy. Well done.

Nice place! We sat outside. Their outside is furnished with both traditional tables and our door couches with a few fire pits. They built up the outside so it sits higher than the parking lot and installed glass panels to further the separation and noise from the parking lot. Coconut shrimp appetizer was amazing. We will return.

We've eaten at other Bonefish Grills before and really like them. As time goes on, I think they will improve their service. The positives: food and drinks were very good. The place was very clean. Even though it was crowded, the noise level was good and the four of us could hear each other. Not so positives: We had reservations that seemed to mean nothing. When we gave them our name we were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait. The server seemed overwhelmed at times and seemed more like a robot. All of us ordered a glass of wine with dinner and only 3 of us got one. I flagged a waiter down as our server was very busy with a table of 8. Never saw the waiter again. Finally our server came over and said she would check on it. She had to come back and tell us she just put the wine order in so our friend got to drink her wine with a few bites of food left. The food portions are disappointing. Usually when we have an appetizer and entrees we have food to bring home. There was nothing to bring home and we still felt a little hungry. The value/cost is a little low. Can't speak about the women's restroom, but if you are going into the men's, bring a flashlight. It is really dark. Also, for a restaurant this size, the restroom is very small.

The food was pretty good considering it's Colorado Springs and we don't really have any other seafood restaurants save for Red Lobster. I would definitely dine there again. We had the Ahi Tuna and Bang Bang Shrimp for appetizers. Both were generous portions. Entrees were Crab Cakes, Fish and Chips and Salmon. My crab cakes seemed a little underdone, but there was definitely large chucks of crab and very little bread crumbs. Fish and chips were fried well and salmon was standard salmon. Prices were reasonable and food came out quickly. The best part of the meal was the fresh baked bread.

Bonefish is great! Yes, there is usually a bit of a wait, especially on the weekends, but it is definitely worth it. I have never had anything there I didn't like and the drinks are fantastic. I prefer to go on the weeknights when it is slower because you get served a lot quicker, but hey, can't blame them for being so popular!

Came for an early dinner, late lunch. I always have positive experiences here. Our server was incredible. The manager stopped by a few times. I ordered the special lobster thurmdor and it was great. I try to get here once in a while but will come more often.

I didn't think Thursday night would be crowded, but the place was hopping. Even so, the staff was able to seat six of us rather quickly. Our server was excellent, even when we told her it would be five different tickets and alcohol had to paid for separately (it was a business trip). We had potstickers and sashimi for appetizers, both of which were excellent. Dinner choices ranged from Maryland Crab cakes to chicken to sushi, and no one had a complaint. A little noisy for conversation, but typical for a restaurant of its size and popularity. I'd go there again.

I agree with other reviews about over cooked fish. I have been to a dozen Bone Fish Grilles across the country, and I would normally say that Bone Fish is the very best place to enjoy perfectly cooked fish. At this location unfortunately, the fish was over cooked for 3 of 4 people at our table, and my self the 4th person, was served raw tuna that was not fresh.(supposed to be seared and raw in the middle, the tuna just was not fresh) I am a fish snob, and the manager dared to argue about the quality of fish with me. I have been all over the world eating tuna and know fresh tuna when I eat it. Anyway I love Bone Fish Grille as a chain, but this location has some learning and growing to do. Fish is delicate and must be perfectly cooked, so it's not dry, and not raw when eaten. It's a fine line to walk. Service was good, and the manager comped my NOT FRESH tuna. I will probably just go to a Bone Fish in Denver next time, other wise I make better fish at home.

Wow. We had another perfect meal here. These people do fish right! We started out with the bang bang shrimp. So crispy and delicious with the tasty sauce. Drinks are great too, had the white sangria. Very good Caesar salad. The special was orange roughy with crab. Perfectly cooked with a wonderful sauce, served with a tasty succotash. We ate every bite. Service was excellent, we came late at night when they were not crowded. If you like seafood, this is the place!!

Probably 3.5 stars Ambience: A little crowded but that's due to the fact that it is so popular (which is a good sign). A more upscale dining experience compared to most chains (more like PF Changs-type). Service: Good. A little heavy on the up-sell sometimes but fast and friendly. Food: Good but the sauces/spices are harsh and overwhelming. Nothing delicate about these seasonings. The popular bang-bang shrimp is great for one or two bites but just too rich to make you want to finish it all. Still, it's worth sharing amongst friends - especially on Wednesdays when it's $5. I appreciate the mix-and-match approach with fishes/sauces and the fact that some dishes can be ordered full or half-sized. But the mango sauce is very sweet and the Asian one is strong - like distilled soy+oyster sauce strong. I have also tried the Asian noodle bowl which was again over-sauced with several intense competing flavors. Pity really, as just about everything tastes fantastic for the first third of a plate, okay for the second but your palate will be blown out by the third. Drinks: I'm not much of a drinker, but I love some of their mixers. I tried the guava-cherry mohito and will definitely get it again. It was pretty light on the alcohol though. Cost: A little pricier than most chains but the quality of ingredients is better. You won't find fresher fish anywhere else outside a sushi bar in Colorado. I'm okay with going back again but I'm still looking for a more delicately flavored dish.

I Had dessert & drinks tonight at the bar inside Bonefish. Delicious bananas foster which was recommended by the bartenders enthusiastically. It was inexpensive and huge! We also had an ol fashioned & their seasonal Apple martini. Both great. I'm used to spending $10+ on martinis and this one was only $7. My boyfriend said his drink was average. Will absolutely return for a happy hour as the menu looked intriguing. Overall good experience for a snowy weeknight outing.

What a mosh pit!! We had reservations for four at 6:30. We check in and were told that it would be about 15 min wait (6:45 now). After checking with the hostess several times on our table, and overhearing the wait for a walk-in was about an hour, we were seated at 7:30 (about the same as a walk-in)!!! What good are reservations made a week in advance if they dont mean anything more than a walk-in. What was nice was just sitting down after standing for an hour. We wont be going back, its not worth the wait. Mark M

Not a seafood fan but my dad loved it. I had a burger and was very impressed. Good quality, nice portions, and amazing service. I really didn't expect that level of attention at a place that was so affordable. Best thing...the place did not smell like seafood so it made it really enjoyable. $25 dollar Sunday brunch is definitely a great deal. Check them out!

Saw a Bonefish Grill in Southlake, TX but never had an opportunity to experience it. My sister told me if I wanted to go that I should make a reservation. That was the best part of Bonefish.... I was able to make a reservation online and there was no wait when we got there. I think $110.00 for three people is pretty excessive for what we got. My daughter and her boyfriend got the Share a Meal for $17.90. But keep in mind it's $17.90 per person! And the portions are very small. One scallop each for the appetizer, a salad each, and their meal was two coconut shrimp each and one crab cake each. They did each get a side each and one was scalloped potatoes, and the other was green beans but the portions were small. I had the Filet, mashed, and chickpeas (more garbanzo beans than chickpeas). We had tea and sodas, and shared a dessert. Somehow it totaled, with tip, $109. I won't be returning because thy want too much for very little food that wasn't that good.

Bonefish Grill is yummy, yummy, yummy! From the bread with herbs and oil to every dish that I have tried - I've been there 5 times now - to their delicious desserts. The servers have all been excellent and the dringks are pretty good also. My only complaint is that it is too small and the tables are too close together, you knid of feel like you are on top of people. Some of the booths are ok, but the tables are jammed packed in. Even with the issue of absolutely zero privacy at the tables, the food and service keeps me going back! Hopefully they expand. :-)

Nice atmosphere. Had dinner on the patio with daughter and sister. Waiter put my order in wrong but offered a free dessert...which was okay. Love the bang bang shrimp and calamari. Even though the waiter messed up my order he was still very nice. He could have blamed the mess up on the kitchen but instead he took responsibility for his mess up, and for that reason I will go back. Hope to give a higher rating next time.

First the pros: Dinner and Lunch menu and service is excellent and I dine monthly at this restaurant The Cons: Brunch meal period including the menu selection and service is terrible. The menu items have changed within the last 2 months, currently all healthy items have been removed, ie; yogurt with fresh fruit, oatmeal, and egg white dishes. The crème burley French toast is two 1/2 inch slices of French baguette bread dipped in a sweet crème burley batter, too sweet and not much food for the price. Omelets appear to be cooked on a flat iron grill as they are thin and flat without much filling for the price. The fresh fruit compote was one day away from being baby food. The service was slow (but friendly) and the manager awkwardly approached the table recognizing thinks were not going well, but did a hit and run by the table, never introducing himself or asking if our experience was satisfactory. This was the second time we have had brunch here and will not return for brunch again.

My fiancé and I decided to try out Bonefish Grill on our date night, and I am glad we did. We were seated promptly, but the tables are pretty close together so don't expect much privacy. Luckily we went on a Sunday evening so it wasn't very busy and we didn't have to be sandwiched between any other tables. We started off with a couple appetizers, the waygu beef and ginger dumplings and the ahi tuna. Both were very delicious. Our cocktails took a while to get to us, but that's okay. Next we shared the lobster bisque. Not the best lobster bisque I've had but it was still pretty darn tasty, especially with the full claw meat inside. For our entrees I had the Tilapia Imperial, stuffed with crab and scallops and a lemon butter caper sauce. It was delicious, but Could have used more sauce as the Tilapia was a bit dry. My fiancé got the Filet Mignon with garlic Gorgonzola butter and a side of crab legs. It was all very flavorful and delicious. He asked for his steak to be medium rare and it came out more medium, but it was still amazing. I asked one of the servers for a wine pairing with my meal and was brought two samples and selected my favorite. We were way too full to even think about dessert, but I enjoyed a baileys and coffee and my fiancé enjoyed a delicious port. We had mentioned to our wonderful server that we were recently engaged and she surprised us with two chocolate covered strawberries and whipped cream on a plate with "congratulations" written in chocolate. It was very nice and a wonderful way to end our dining experience. Thank you to the staff for being so helpful and friendly, we had a great time and already plan on coming back to try some more of those delicious menu items.
