Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Honestly some of the best Mexican food for the prices in Denver! My wife, who is from Mexico City and I (from northern Mexico - Los Angeles, CA LOL!!!) had the carne asada burrito and the chilaquiles. I can always tell if Mexican food is authentic and tasty when I see the look on my wife's face after the first bite :). We will be back in the near future as we just moved 2 miles away from Tata's.

This place is Great!!!I love the breakfast burrito and the regular buritto smothered with Green Chili. The Green Chili is Outstanding. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable. This place is friendly. I plan on being a regular. Give it a try and I am sure you will be back.

I've only gone through the drive-through of this place since it has become Tata's Burritors, but the handful of times that I have, I think it had to be the slowest drive through experience ever. I've only had variations of their breakfast burritos and their carne asada burrito, but I was shocked at how long it took to get the food. Not only are you waiting in line forever, but even after you get to the window and pay, you continue to wait. Not sure if it's the short staff or what, but I've never had it take so long for food to come out, let alone a breakfast burrito. The burritos are good; however, and remind me of a late night 24-hour burrito place that I used to frequent in college. Prices are good as well.

"Roberto's of the Rockies" After a few different names and owners, the original owner is back and the food is better than ever! Formerly known as Burrito King, those of you from southern California will recognize the killer rolled tacos with guacamole as being the same as you get from Roberto's (or Alberto's, Julberto's, or any of the other "berto's"). You owe it to yourself Colorado, to try truly authentic Mexican food. Great prices, great food and awesome breakfast burritos! Get over here and support this place - we need them!!

We were sad when Burrito King disappeared last year, especially when its replacement kinda sucked. But now they're back with a different name! Same owners, same food, and it's SO good. My SoCal transplanted hubby LOVES the rolled tacos, and I love the Colorado Burrito. Yay!

Not too many Mom & Pop places out here in suburbia, so we were excited that a little taco place just opened. I had the Colorado burrito which is amazing (hand cut fries and tons of guac in my burrito? Yes please.) We also got delicious spiral empanadas for dessert and 2 breakfast burritos for the next morning, which were also amazing. The green chili is HOT, just how us CO natives want it! I have a feeling there will be much Tata's in my face in the future. Edit: I forgot to add the prices are very low - you get a huge burrito for $5!

Real glad this place is back open and being run by people who know how to make good Mexican food! The breakfast burritos are great, especially the machaca and egg, potato, bacon burritos. Give them a try, you won't regret it. Service is friendly and fast, and the food is cooked fresh to order!

I'm actually in love. I was hesitant to go there at first because it looked kind of strange on the outside, but my friend brought me one day and it was GREAT!!! It has delicious Mexican food and the prices are great. It's a place I can go whenever and I know that a poor college student like myself will get great service and great food!

This place has great food. From someone that lived in SoCal for 15 years, this is exactly the kind of burrito/taco you get from one of those little taco shops. Love it.
