I decided to dip into my High School nostalgia and pop into My Favorite Muffin this morning. It's been years since I've had the chance to wrap my hands around those amazing mini muffins. I picked up 2 dozen assorted mini muffins for the office, then checked in on FourSquare where I was greeted with a 'First Time Check In Special' and received 3 additional mini muffins on the house. If you've been here, you'll understand that I started eating the muffins in the car and they were just as good as I remember them 10 years ago! I love this place, it's quick, cheap, quaint and delicious. Their assortment of muffins is great, generally a flavor for any pallet. The staff is friendly and I was asked if I had been helped after one of the employees had already started filling my order. They're on top of their customer service! 5 stars ALL DAY for My Favorite Muffin!

This place is simple and quaint. I try to stop by once a week and am pleased every time. Employees behind the counter are always friendly. . .even when they first open on Saturday mornings. The selection of bagels and muffins is topped off with a sufficient variety of breakfast sandwiches. I am not much of a froufrou coffee drinker. . .so their selection of fresh brewed coffees are just fine by me. Additionally, they are always very prompt at refilling their coffee percolators with fresh brews. Customers are never left waiting. Not an amalgam of bells and whistles. The place is not littered with the contrived button-downs that tend to populate places such as Starbucks and Panera. Very appealing place that I look forward to visiting weekly. Thumb's up to the owner and employees!

This place was hopping the Sunday morning I stopped by, which mean fresh everything, nothing sitting in the hopper for too long. It's kind of three places in one; a bagel place like Einsteins that serves bagels as well as the breakfast sandwiches, a coffee place that has all your funky drinks both hot and cold, and a muffin store. There were about 16 types of regular sized muffins and 8 mini-muffins to choose from, but for $2.15 per regular sized muffin, I chose a bagel instead. That's a little steep for a relatively small muffin. Think of the ones they serve at King Soopers and take the size down by 30%, and then increase the price 4x. The options on the muffins were very much on the sweet side - nothing in the banana walnut or bran or blueberry area. It was all dessert style muffins. But my bagel was very good as was my chai tea. You can bring some picky eaters here and they'll find something they like, there are a lot of choices. Bonus: They have outdoor seating.

Exactly like the name says, this is my favorite muffin!!! The chocolate chip muffin is to die for, perfect texture, and to top it, they drizzle white and milk chocolate on top!!! The mini muffins are good too- I thought they wouldn't be as good as the larger ones but they definitely were! YUM!

The service here is horrible. The time before last I was there the lady at the cashier rang up 3 people behind me before I had to interrupt her to pay. I guess I should have just walked out with my food but that's not me. This last Monday I was there bright and early, 6:10 am. One person was already sitting eating and I was the only other customer. As I stood waiting to order a young man walked past me FOUR times without any acknowledgement. The other employee never looked up. After he passed by me the 4th time I walked out. I was very visible and he faced me several times. Not sure what benefit there is from ignoring money but they will never get mine again. It's too bad because they are on the way to work and serve a pretty good breakfast sandwich. If you enjoy being ignored check them out!

The food is to die for--I am a loyal customer here. However, I think the facility itself is pretty outdated. The floors, counters and tables/benches look old. I think they could stand to do some remodeling. But, the quality of the food is great so I have no complaints in that department, which is what really matters. I love coming here for breakfast and lunch. And on Wednesdays they run a great lunch special.

I don't know. The muffins haven't been all that great to me and they don't have a good selection of beverages. I mean, hell, I can put my own tea bag in water. Only because there is a lack of bakeries in the area, do I see myself returning here unless I stop being lazy all together and just make my own at home.

Have stopped in a couple of times now on my way to work. This morning it took 3-4 mins just to have someone take my order. The whole time there were two employees all chatty working on one breakfast sandwich together, I was late for work in the end. Each time the coffee has been terrible, watered down beyond coffee taste and further frustrating me this morning is that my bagel is on the doughy side. I'm done giving this place a try, I'll drive past my office to Panera to get my bagel and coffee (same price) and actually be on time and it still be able to enjoy my food and beverage.

These aren't muffins... these are giant decadent cakes! I love the desserty muffins because they taste just like the dessert! e.g. Their strawberry cheesecake muffin has cream cheese/strawberry creamy creation in the middle and the muffin is so moist and sweet, i love it. I can never finish a whole one to myself... but all the better to share so I get a nibble/taste of all the wonderful flavors that they have! My favorite so far have been this mixed berry muffin.. it had raspberry, blueberry and I think cranberry (?) with a less cakey texture and more bran muffin texture - so it was a great balance of sweet and normal muffin. Whatever it's made of, it was off the hook and I finished way more than I should have. I am oh so glad (or horrified? cursed?) that this place is so near the office... they tend to come around a lot for these office meetings....

The name says it all; this is definitely My Favorite Muffin!! Since my very first bite of the Chocolate Chip muffin I have been hooked. That may sound awfully dramatic, but yes it is that good, and I don't typically like sweets! Strangely my car seems to navigate there on its own without my directive. I know what you're thinking, enough gushing on to the review... - The selection of muffins, bagels, pastries is vast and its fun to try unique combinations. I would also recommend the latte and the drip coffees, great flavors! I highly recommend the Apple Muffin, Chocolate Muffin and Everything Bagel. - They offer indoor and outdoor seating, always a great option on a lazy Sunday morning. I can't say the view is anything special as it looks out to Arapahoe Road but never the less outdoor seating :) -The prices are fairly average for all of the items and well worth it

Their muffins are unbeatable. Several varieties from which to choose; none are a gamble. I agree with other reviewers that while their muffins are phenomenal, some of the other menu items are nothing to write home about. Their smoothies are especially overpriced and too sugary for my taste. If you want to be the office hero on Monday morning, grab the "Mini's Dozen". There's something for everyone there. My personal favorite varieties are the Raspberry Amaretto and Cinnamon Cheesecake. Lord knows what they put in these to make them so tasty, but they are like heaven to eat. Almost a pound cake-like consistency, with perfect crunch to the muffin top. The staff is usually friendly. The muffin & coffee prices are not cheaper than most places in the vicinity- but they are reasonable for the quality of food, and for the location (Centennial Business District). You should definitely check it out if you're in the area.

People are right when they say these muffins are more like dessert muffins. I had the Boston creme pie which is really good but a slightly different mix up and it could have been easily a cupcake. So these muffins are like a 1st cousin to a cupcake. Which does not mean they are not good/ delicious. The main reason why I gave them just an a-ok is that I also tried to enjoy one of their bagels but their bagels are not like regular bagels their different. I can defiantly tell their fattier nothing like Einstein's. I don't think I will get their bagels again. Their thinner but, I don't know I just think they have a weird makeup. I prefer other places bagel over theirs. So I think I will stick with the items in the companies name MUFFINS. P.S. Muffins are a bit pricey so be prepared.

My Favorite Muffin - A Haiku Their Muffin Top is not all that. Too Sweet for me. A Ninja Cupcake This place gets a lot of love. I just dont see it. Its a fine establishment. The people are nice. The service is good. The muffins . . . not so much. . . I just don't get into them like most people do. Too sweet. And if I am in the mood for sweets, I can do much better. A muffin is supposed to be something you can eat at brunch. Most of the muffins here are way closer to the cupcake end of the spectrum. And if I want a cupcake, there are places for that too! All of that said, I go here whenever I have a morning meeting. These things KILL at morning meetings. People flock to them like crack. I will never know why.

MFM was a nice treat. A few complaints real quick... not being from the area, it's in a 'funky' location and a bit tricky to find if you don't know where you're going (like me, most of the time), and someone, please keep the coffees full in the morning! This is a quaint place and the selection was awesome. The muffins look yummy and there were plenty to choose from, but I was in the mood for a bagel (I just had a muffin the day before for breakfast). It was good, a little flat, and the cream cheese was light and tasty! One problem I did have was the coffee. They had a great selection but the coffee lacked the flavor I was anticipating, there were 3 caf, and 1 decaf to choose from. They had a pumpkin spice flavor and I went to get some and it was empty, blurg... same with the irish cream... uggh! It's breakfast and certain people require their coffee in order to function. I didn't mention it to the employees, and maybe I should have. I just thought there was more than enough staff to accommodate the coffee levels. My son had a french toast bagel with honey-cinnamon cream cheese, it was awesome, I had the everything bagel with the veggie cream cheese and my wife went with the cheese bagel. All-in-all we all left satisfied and if I'm in the area again in the AM I'm going to go and get my "muffin on"!

I am not big on muffins at all, but a co-worker brought in some cherry cream muffins today and yes, these things are good! Really tasty - even gets five stars for being tasty and me never being in the store. Dang!

I really did have my favorite carrot cake muffin here. So far I haven't been able to bring myself to try any of their other flavors. The first time I got my extra large muffin I remember being a little disappointed at the small puff of icing that was on the top. After eating the entire thing, I realized that my judging a muffin by its lack of frosting was very unfair to do. The icing was very sweet and just the right amount for the humongous muffin.

I have to say that their bagels are just ok, but their Southern Tradition breakfast sansdwhich with bacon is awesome!

I love My Favorite Muffin. I was introduced to MFM about two years ago when my wife (die hard sweet tooth and muffin lover) told me we needed to try a new spot for Sunday morning breakfast. I'm thinking, "Honey, I'm a dude...man needs more than muffins alone to survive until my next feeding." Needless to say I was pleasantly surprise by the numerous options made available to a MFM customer. From your typical bagels and cream cheese to your not so typical sandwiches, breakfast eats and smoothies this place seems to have a little something for everyone. Here we are two years later and I'm still hitting MFM for breakfast on Sundays. Not only on Sunday mornings, but often treat my office to a box of muffins, mini-muffins or bagels from this spot at least once a week. The great thing about MFM is the staff. From the moment you walk in these folks actually care about you being at their counter and do their absolute best to be sure you're getting what you want. Breakfast made your way. Hot, fresh and minus the spread, add bacon, cut in half diagonally...whatever, these guys want to make your morning. Great job honey...I guess I really can survive on muffins alone.

Decent bagels but not water boiled like a real ny bagel. We had 2 bagels and shared a carrot cake muffin (which was good) then I had a latte and my husband had a coffee. A little steep though for what we had. $14.00

Of all the local places for some baked goods, this is one of the few worth the trip. They don't have a wide range of cookies and cakes, but they have reeeeeealllly good muffins!! They have big ones and mini ones, mostly in the same flavors.. They have an amazing variety of muffins, chocolate, chocolate chip, pumpkin, fruit - you name it! the kids LOVE the mini ones.. they provide them in great "authentic" white bakery boxes, a nice touch for those from towns where "real" bakeries exist. They also have crepes - I've never had one. They also have bagels.. I really want to love them, but I can only muster a "they're good and suck less than Einstein's." They have too many bagels covered in cheese and other "heretical" varieties, but they do, thankfully, have sesame, poppy, everything, and the good ones. They do, however, have some excellent cream cheeses! Cinnamon/honey is a big favorite of mine. If you're entertaining for breakfast/brunch, grab a big box of muffins - your guests will thank you!

A great quick breakfast spot. Although (as the other reviewer noted) not a traditional bagel ala Bagel Deli or the Bagel store, they are real food compared to McPoop-My-Pants breakfast sandwiches and you can combo them with mini-muffins which are the real draw here. Okay for lunch too.
(4)
Terry B.
I've only been once and got a coffee and bacon, egg, and cheese bagel. Everything was just OK, not overly memorable and not bad. I guess I'll have to try one of their muffins, I just don't know when I'll ever actually feel like eating a muffin.

Yummy! One of my favorite breakfast places. Great place to stop on your way to the office when it is your day to bring in treats for meetings! Mini muffins are perfect bite-sized tastes. Bagels will rock your socks off. Large muffins are good, but you might not want to venture there if you are not a fan of rich treats.
(4)

I love their bagel omelets. The muffins are amazing, and there is always a new flavor to try. I also love the coffee selection, there is always an unusual flavor to try. I try to eat here every two weeks or so. the people are always friendly and efficient.

This place is soooo good. We don't have a lot of breakfast options on this side of town so I was thrilled to find this place. The coffee is freshly brewed, the bake goods are delicious. Try the Southern Style breakfast bagel.
(4)
Heidi K.
The muffins are like a little piece of heaven, but the coffee, not so much. I have tried plain and several specialty and none are too great. If the could serve a better coffee, this would literally be a breakfast from above! Be sure to try the chocolate chip and berry crumb muffins. They are both amazing! Service is great too. All staff and management are super nice.

I often stop here before work even though it's a bit out of the way. I've yet to try a muffin I didn't like (though the pumpkin muffin was a little lacking in the pumpkin department) and their vanilla lattes are much better than Starbucks' in my opinion. Their blended drinks are really good too - very creamy and not too sweet. Try: The cinnamon crumb muffin (make sure to ask if they can warm it up!) with a vanilla creme latte.

Seriously the best muffins I have ever had! I got the Boston cream!!! They are a little expensive though but worth it!

My family and I popped in a couple days ago for a quick bite to eat. I didn't have any expectations, unlike the nay sayers. The food we had was great. Bagels were melt in your mouth good. The mango citrus smoothie was great. Service was great. i think I could see how some of the staff may be more enthusiastic than others but it's okay. I am definitely recommending this place. Delicious!

The name is just what I would have called it if it had been named something else... They have the best stuff here. The blueberry muffin is killer and I'd let it kill me because the chocolate cheesecake ones are to die for... Get an assortment of mini muffins, which pack all the goodness of a large one, but fewer bites. Yum! They have a french toast bagel that is awesome. Take that diet!

Meh. I just don't understand why you'd come here if you had...any other options. Awful bagels and breakfast sandwiches. The muffins are pretty OK, though. Good selection. If you just wanted to grab a box of muffins, then this is a 3 star stop. As for eating in...I'd skip it. Drive a little further and get something yummier and better for you. EDIT: I will say that the employees are friendly. But the food could be way better.

I go to a meetup group once a month which they provide pastries and coffee from My Favorite Muffin. I am drawn to the choocolate chip muffins everytime I go there, but today I tried a different one- raspberry cheese something delicious danish. YUM! It is very sweet but savory. The muffins have a great consistency all throughout and has just the right amount of moist right in the middle. I can rarely ever complain about getting breakfast for free, so this place always delivers in my book. For some coffee and a pastry in the morning- skip starbucks and make your way over to MFM!

Amazing variety of unique muffins. I love the minis at great price so you can try different flavors. Bagels like jalapenos and spinach are awesome. You cant find anything like this around here and definitely not at the Einsteins. I like to stop by for a quick bite on Sunday mornings around 10. The crews are friendly, helpful. Few Sunday's ago to my surprise, I saw the owner at the store. I have never seen him during the weekends. I figure things were lot better that day but nope. All of the tables were dirty as usual, napkins on the floor and things were in need of cleaning. We had to clean our own table to sit down. I wonder what the hecks going on here lately. This place could use wipe down more often. Its the best muffin/bagel place I can find around here. I would have given 5 stars but one is taken off for the dirtiness of the table.

Stopped in for a dozen mini's to take to an appointment. I decided to also have a quick lunch sandwich. Turkey, Bacon and Cheese on an Everything bagel. WOW, that was a great idea. I wolfed that down before I even got out of the parking lot. I was on the run and had only about 5 mins to spare to be on time for an appointment a few miles away. I was all about that sandwich and my appointment was all about the muffins I brought along. Shame they aren't open earlier and a little later.

I ended up there for lunch a few months ago. Every table was dirty. I found a napkin and cleaned one myself so I could sit. They were not very busy even and a man who seemed like he might've been a manager stood in the restaurant chatting with a customer or friend for a very long time while all the tables remained dirty. Other employees walked by as well ignoring the mess. I don't get all the good reviews. The food was barely edible and even if it was good, the mess and attitude of the employees was a huge turn off.

Great location but small building, which meant the line was fairly long when we arrived. Probably typical of a breakfast place during breakfast though. The sandwich, muffin, and smoothie that we had were excellent, although priced slightly higher than I would have expected. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Will be back! Overall, 8/10

This place is great! Go there often to get muffins for my team at work. They taste great and the device is excellent. Highly recommend!

This place as fantastic bagels and muffins! Great breakfast sandwiches! They need honey for their tea, though. Always friendly and helpful!

(4)Heidi K.

I have to say this is one of my favorite places their bagels are like no other their veggie cream cheese is amazing smoothies are great all the girls that work here are fabulous
(5)Sarah S.
Best muffins in town! The service is always friendly and eager to help. I'll drive out of my way for these guys!
(5)Trianna K.
(5)Caitlin D.

Delicious!

Not just for breakfast. My wife and I enjoy grabing lunch here! Very good sandwiches.

I used to come here all the time when I lived in Denver. This place is awesome and delicious.
(5)Kyle J.

Yummy!!!! Such a great place to grab some good breakfast. It's a whole in the wall local vibe with friendly fast service!
(5)Charles C.
Best muffins you will ever have! They are always changing the flavors and offer large and mini muffins to suit your appetite. Staff is also super friendly! I recommend the Boston Creme and Rasberry Amaretto.

Awesome place. Great breakfast and lunch sandwiches. And don't even get me started about them muffins. Gotta check this one out if your in the area
(5)Ryan M.
