Way to cramped in the space. Hard to maneuver through when there are people standing waiting for to go orders and trying to get to the register to order. They also follow the scream at you when you walk through the door policy. Too be continued ..... I have bumped this up to 3 stars at the moment. They have only been open a week and very obvious it was a new staff in training. The manager was quizzing those on the line as things progressed and it was obvious the line was trying to put their best foot forward. I had ordered an Italian and a Meatball. I then tried to find an out of the way place to stand so those who came in while I was waiting could get to the register. About 5-10 mins later I was presented with a bag and made my way out. The young lady who gave me my bag did give me a reminder to be careful so the meatball didn't spill. Ok, that was nice. Upon arriving back at the office I actually looked in the bag, I was not prepared for the size of the sandwiches I had ordered. This was a pleasant surprise for the people we were about to share lunch with. I was happy to have the meatball reminder once I actually realized it was not wrapped, but in a styrofoam container which allowed it to not get mushy and all over the place from being wrapped in paper. Good Job on that one Firehouse. It was actually pretty good, giant leaps above Subway in terms of quality and portion. The bread is good quality and fresh, the meatballs are good size and not overly dense or mushy either. The amount and location of the cheese once melted actually seals most of the sauce which lends a hand in not wearing most of your lunch. The Italian was also the same good quality and head and shoulders above some of the other local sub shops. It actually looked like the pictures you see on menus instead of a few slices of meat buried in bread and covered in a salad. This location has both a few tables at the front door and an outside patio in the back. There is also plenty of parking so it's pretty easy to get to and away from. Not sure if this will be added to the "Didn't bring my lunch... what do I want" rotation or not, but it's definitely worth a revisit in a few weeks to see if things have improved as far as speed and inside arrangement.

I was hoping to find another great sub shop but came away very disappointed. There's absolutely nothing special about these subs. On the small side for the price and relatively bland. Save your time and go to any other franchise. BTW - they have a hand painted mural of the Park Meadows sign burning down. Perhaps a more friendly mural of fireman riding in a truck with a Dalmatian would be more appropriate.

Good food and customer service. When I forgot to say no cheese and received a sandwich with cheese, they remade my sandwich with big smiles. So sweet.

I had a period where I was slowly moving into a new place, and as such had little groceries, which meant I had to eat lunch out at work for a week straight. It's amazing how bored you can get when that happens. So one day last week, I actually used Yelp to help me find a new, exciting place to try for lunch. Enter Firehouse Subs. I do have to say right off the bat that, as others have mentioned, this place is really, really cramped. The order station is at the back of the counter, so if you go during the lunch hour you have to wade through tables, chairs, and people to get to the register. It's like trying to move through the crowd at a packed concert. But that's not the fault of the employees, who all welcomed me when I walked in. The cashier asked if I had been in before and when I said I hadn't, he gave me the rundown-that they're known for their hot subs, and that each include certain toppings and condiments unless you ask for them off. After finally landing on a sandwich (not an easy task, as the whole menu looked good), I went with a corned beef and pastrami sandwich, and upgraded to a large, which is a footlong as opposed to eight inches. My sandwich was up quickly, and I took it back to the office with me. I soon found out that their regular size is plenty, as they really stack the ingredients on and make it count. It was still hot when I unwrapped, and it tasted amazing-definitely the best hot sub I've had in a long, long time. So while the space itself at this Firehouse is poorly planned, the staff is friendly and helpful and the sandwiches are great. I will definitely be back!

The subs are great. My favorite sub place outside of the east coast. Great food, great value. Will be back.

Firehouse Subs has picked up where Quiznos left off --- their subs are outstanding. Plus -- putting hot sauce on my sub is something that I never considered. This location holds true to the outstanding subs you have come to expect. The service is pretty good --- but sometimes a bit too efficient where I feel like a number. Tagging on to "Jese S.'s" comment -- they do need to feature out the line situation since every time I head in --- the line has gone to 'crazy town' and are you bumping in to everything/everyone. Regardless --- give them a try.

I stopped in here for lunch with a couple coworkers. This place is fairly new to this area. The sandwich I had was darn good. It did take a little while to get the actual food, but they were busy. My other gripe is that the seating is cramped. There are hardly aisles, and the tables are small. If I'm uncomfortable, I'm less inclined to come back.

Everything I've had has been great, and there is a wide selection of hot sauces. The customer service is great. They're always friendly and prepare the food in a timely manor.

This place has potential, but their inconsistancy will hinder that. One time they put way too much sauce, the next, not enough. I got my husband his very first Smokey Beef w/ Cheddar sandwich, but it was so dry that his opinion of Firehouse Subs is not a good one now. I will have to get him to try it again. Subway is successful because they are consistant. Firehouse Subs needs to take notice. Also, they had many of thier cookies mis-labed and some were not labeled at all! This is all bad management. Someone needs to pay more attention. Not to mention when you walk to the register it never seems like anyone is truely ready to assist.

Very nice staff. Clean bright place with interesting specials, Coke Freestyle. Positive step up from most sub chains.

Don't buy the hype, the subs lack toppings and are expensive. Quiznos is superior. I've been here several times and I swear I am never satisfied by the taste or the cost. I've tried three different subs and they're all just "meh" seriously, very "meh." The menu seems to offer a lot of good options, but they've never really hit the spot. Otherwise the food is edible, the staff is talkative, and there is a selection of hot sauces to add, but seriously this place is not a big deal at all. I don't know why I've been here so many times..

So I got a To Go order sandwich and got home and there was no meat on my sandwich. I called to let them know the manager made me think it was my fault and was so rude. I will never frequent a firehouse sandwich shop again after having to deal with this manager. This was lunch on sept 1 if someone reading this cares.
