Always dubious when restaurant advertise "authentic" . . but this was close! The restaurant has outdoor seating, and it was pleasant being outside on a warm summer day. The chips were warm and tasty . . salsa served in a pitcher, so as to not waste, and to offer exact servings. The guacamole was too pureed for my liking, but still good. The carnitas were as good as we've ever had . .excellently flavored, and served with fresh corn tortillas. Service was great . . hostess checked in with us frequently.

Not good. Bad food, horrible service. There really wasn't anything good to talk about here, im just going to make a list of the stuff that earned this visit 1 star. Pro Tip: I won't say the name, but there is a place cadi-corner to this location that may or may not be a brewery that is amazing, seriously, it's great!! 1. Server brought out wrong beer 2. Server never came to refill drinks, we had to chase them down 3. Server was on her cell phone at the bar most of the night hanging with friends. 4. Server was bit racist?? She refused to call Dos Equis by it's name and kept saying "Two Equis" and that she refused to use the word "dos". Maybe just an inside joke that i missed, and while i thought it was pretty funny, I also thought it a little inappropriate at the same time for a random guest. 5. Salsa was weird (runny, tasted funny) and while all salsas are different, this came in some home Tupperware container that made you question how fresh, or clean, that salsa was you were eating. 6. real cheese isn't available i guess in this part of CO, as they seem to prefer to use fake nacho cheese on everything. 7. We couldn't get our servers attention to pay the bill 30+ minutes after we finished eating. In fact, another server couldn't help us either. It wasn't until we pretended to be leaving that she finally ran up with our bill. We actually hung out by the register even asking all staff we could to pay our bill. Just terrible.

Service is awful. Enchiladas made with nacho cheese. They only brought the check after we all started to walk out and then never even came back to run the card

I love the Casita! The food is always fresh and fast, and they have lots of options for any kind of diet. I got the lettuce wrap tacos last time, and I was pleasantly surprised that they were gigantic and brimming with meaty goodness. The service is always spot on, too. Plus free chips!

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon Mi Casita on our way home from our 4th of July camping trip. The food and atmosphere was great! But it was the owner's kind gesture that led me to write this review. My boyfriend left his phone at the restaurant and we didn't realize it until we were back near Denver. Kiko (the owner) offered to send the phone to us at no charge. Can't tell you how much we appreciate his thoughtfulness. Goes a very long way and because of it, we'll be back and will definitely spread the word to all our Roaring Fork friends!

Great food and great service! Delicious guacamole enchiladas and taco salad. Perfect stop on the way to Aspen. Classic Mexican and healthy alternatives. Highly recommend.

Better than most Mexican restaurants in the valley- good service , great margaritas, and good food. Also the atmosphere isn't the usual hand painted neon bird & sombrero themed furniture. The first Mexican restaurant in the area ( including Aspen - though I haven't tried La Palapa) I would go back to.

If I could give it 0 stars then I would. Food was bland, salsa was like tomato paste with cilantro, queso was so oily that u couldn't get it on the chip. Our waitress was the worst I've ever had, and I've been to a lot of restaurants including shoddy ones!

This place sucks. Slowest service I've ever experienced and my table was the only one there for lunch. They give you salsa for the table in these nasty little plastic containers that get used by everyone who comes in. I can't even remember what I ordered. The restaurant is nice, but food and service don't measure up. Girls go wild in here late night. The only reason to give them a star.

Hurray for Mi Casita! We can never get enough. Always great food and people. We'll always come back.

Great service and staff. The food is good and so are the turboritas.

Service is slow... I think they need to hire more staff, there were two servers working on a Friday night. On to the food. Salsa is pretty good, would have liked it better if the chips were not stale. Nothing worse than cold stale chips. Food was average at best. Nothing to write home about. Most likely will not come back for dinner.

Delicious! Try the cheese enchiladas with red sauce. Don't miss the bean dip either! Yummy!
