It was an afternoon adventure up to Thompson Creek to go 4 wheeling. No one wants to be up in the mountains hungry right? So our wonderful Uncle stops in to Heidi's to grab a picnic lunch with sandwiches. We got 5 sandwiches and a variety of choices. The service is wonderful and they were very accommodating and patient. Each sandwich came with a yummy pickle slice on the side and your choice of either macaroni salad, potato salad, or chips. We all got the macaroni salad and it was a great choice. The sandwiches were delicious! The bread is made fresh daily!! The meats, cheese, and veggies are top quality! We talked about how good our sandwiches were for days to come! Heidi's is located in the shopping center with City Market. A small little place with a lot of heart! :)

I ordered 15 sandwiches over the phone, for pickup in 1 hour. The lady taking my order was gracious, patient, and efficient. She got the order right, and they packed each sandwich in its own bag, with the contents written on the outside. The facility was clean, and the person who greeted us (I think the same woman who took the order) greeted us with a smile and had us on the road within a few minutes. The sandwiches were wonderful, and our large extended family was very happy. Thank you, Heidis!

Got there about 5 and we couldn't longer get hot sandwiches because they were closing at 6. They still had some good options. Husband's ham on rye looked filling. But my chicken salad was light on chicken. The potato salad and macaroni salad sides were very good. Didn't have unsweetened tea but did have an interesting selection of bottled drinks. Allowed dogs on patio.

Fresh & delicious!!! We stopped to get sandwiches for a hike and the bread was so fresh and the sandwiches were so good that we went back for breakfast the next day. I had ham & egg & avocado on an everything bagel and loved it. Hubby had a breakfast burrito - all yummy. Good coffee too! An added plus was staff was so friendly!

Best breakfast burrito in town I've found so far. Plus free coffee!! Free wifi, and always friendly people.

TL;DR: A nice basic option for lunch. Heidi's has been operating in the City Market shopping center for three years or so, and has generated a pretty loyal following. Heidi's has a good variety of traditional made-to-order deli sandwiches & soups. Usually the service is really fast, and they'll have your food ready if you call it in. PROS: Affordable and good quality. They have gluten-free bread, smoothies and veggie options if that matters to you. CONS: Sometimes service is slow & sloppy when they are under-staffed. The cock rock music is often turned up so loud I cannot hear my phone ring or converse with the person across the table from me. Overall, Heidi's is a safe bet for lunch. It's affordable, locally owned & operated and the staff is able to understand and communicate in the King's English (this may seem trivial to some, but can be life or death if you have food allergies). The quality and cleanliness is much better than some of the other sandwich options in the Valley. Check it out.

Good sandwiches but not a typical deli where you can see whats behind the counter and buy cold cuts & other deli items like potato salad etc. good fresh baked bread for their sandwiches.

My friends go here regularly for lunch, and it is usually good. Last time I went, I ordered the chicken salad, and it was disappointing. Not the chicken salad itself, but the portion of meat to the thickness of the bread was just ridiculous! Sure, it's great that they slice thick slabs of bread, but it is so much bread compared to the filling, that I had to throw away half the bread just to taste the chicken salad. On opening the sandwich, the filling didn't come close to actually covering the bread. So I think the real problem is training. The server was really slow too. The bathrooms were kind of dirty, and the overal experience was just ok.
