The food is absolutely incredible. Can not say enough about the flavor and textures. Recommend the Chicken Masala or Lamb Curry. The bread is baked fresh. Portions are quite large and pricing is very very fair. Makes a good alternative to a steak house if your going out for a great meal, and at less than half the price. 5ppl ate for about $100 bucks including 3 drinks, two appetizers, 4 entrees, an extra order of Naan bread, tons of rice and we even took enough food home to have another complete family meal. Our server was very kind and polite. Good atmosphere and it features Hindu artwork but I wish they played classical Indian music. Selection of beer is lacking but they have ranger, Guinness can, and the usuals as well as a few from Asia. Was my first time there and will definitely be going back. Went to the only other Indian restaurant I know of yesterday, I'm leaning towards this one even though it's just a tad farther than glenwood. Worth it!

We had lamb curry, veggie korma, naan and side veggies which were all quite tasty. I would go again. An alternate choice for Indian in the area is Narayan's.

Not sure if Roaring Fork area has a lot of Indian choices but this wouldn't be on my list of a repeat visit unless I had to have Indian. Got take out, two dishes with two orders of Garlic Naan which was 44 bucks - ouch. Our take out bag didn't have napkins or utensils. The chicken curry and vindaloo lamb were both okay but they were very very salty - way too salty for my taste. The portions were good sized. I think one order would actually comfortably feed two people. The bread also comes in a big portion, so keep this in mind when ordering.

I have been to this place 2 times. Every time I come the service is the worst I have ever had. I live in the roaring fork area and next time I go out to spend 60$ I will not come here. Every negative review written below is true.

I've been craving good Indian food since we made the move to Colorado. In fact, I'm so in denial about the whole thing, I haven't even taken Breads of India out of my contacts list yet....sigh.... We stumbled upon this place and it worked for a mix of carnivores, veggies and vegans, and was delicious! Everything was layered with great flavor and spice, the service was knowledgeable, and the prices were totally reasonable. Carbondale you are lucky to have such a place :)

SALT... I think they are confused... Salt is not curry! Samosas were aweful.. Chicken Tikka masala was the saltiest dish i've ever had. I love Indian food.. it's a shame.

Glad to see these guys are finally on yelp. We had their food from a booth at a festival in Boulder. What a treat! Definitely going out of our way on our trips to Crested Butte from now on.
