We ordered this for takeout one night (Never actually went to the restaurant) They messed up my order completely (How do you mess up pad thai??) Gave me rice instead of pad thai noodles. The shrimp and the beef in the "pad thai" were inedible. The chicken was passable at best. My husband got rice noodles which were hard and some of them stuck together. It tasted OK. He also ordered a spicy salmon roll and instead got regular salmon. How you make that many mistakes in one order is beyond me. I will NEVER order from here again. I dont know how they can call this Thai food.

the food was ok, until my daughter found a long plastic wrap in her noodles soup. the waiter was so nice.

We went on a slow Sunday night and it was happy hour! We got a ton of sushi & fried rice for less than $30. For now the happy hour is all day Sunday and Monday and a few times during the week. I will definitely go back! And they deliver! I would totally get the beef fried rice again and get it delivered. There was not a lot of egg to over power the flavor, perfect. There wasn't too much soy sauce and the beef was good quality! We also got friendly service from Ben who was a little busy but still took care of us! We felt like it was a hole in the wall restaurant because it was small and cozy but got big- restaurant quality and service. Loved it and would recommend it!

I've eaten here about a dozen times. Food is very fresh. I love the pumpkin curry and the drunken noodles. I'm not a sushi person so I can't comment on that. Prices are reasonable. The wait staff is awesome- super attentive and accommodating. The decor is a bit outdated but I can overlook that because of the food and service.
(4)Ray L.
Not good, but not surprising. I just haven't been able to find a Thai restaurant I like north of Denver. They give you a lot of food at a low price. However, I'd much rather get quality. The chicken in both the soup appetizer and my main curry entree had that leftover chicken flavor. It was tough to work past that. I also felt my yellow curry lacked complexity and the heat that I asked for. Pass.

We will not return. It was noisy. Service was very slow. Our server apologized profusely for the slow service but that didn't make it alright for me. Food was mediocre. It wasn't a completely horrible experience but I've had better dining experiences.
(2)Abby Q.
Very good and reasonably priced. My boyfriend and I have been here twice now, and each time we both got an entree and shared a sushi roll. With all that food, we still get out of here for under $30. Come get the pineapple curry. YUM!
(4)Gregory P.
This is our "go to" place when we're not up for a full meal of sushi or other asian - it lets us have some of each. We've been here at least 15-20 times. The Japanese udon bowls are good, the sushi fine (not ecstatic about it, but it's quite adequate).
(4)Trista S.
This place has amazing rolls at a great price. Try the volcano and spider rolls! Mega yummy

Found this place via a Living Social deal, and since we're new to the neighborhood, we figured why the heck not? Totally worth it. First of all, very vegetarian friendly (for their Thai dishes, Japanese dishes AND their sushi), which not a lot of places north of 36 seem to be, so that was a big bonus. Plus, their sushi menu was incredibly extensive AND there were some epic special rolls that we'll have to go back for L to try. Miso soup? Yum. Salad? Meh. Dressing was good, but it was basically a bowl full of iceberg lettuce, which is less than ideal. Sushi? Off the hook! I had an avocado roll, a vegetable roll and a cucumber/tofu roll, while L went for sushi of the more fishy variety, and we were both more than satisfied. Also, their iced tea is actually from a Thai iced tea blend and was magically delicious (with free refills that came as quickly as we could drink it). We'll definitely be back to try the Pumpkin Curry, to support my well known Pumpkin Fetish. Glad we found this gem!

The employees here are so, so friendly! They're worth four stars. I got sushi to go, and it wasn't bad. Not the best I've ever had, but I still ate it. I would recommend eating at the restaurant to maximize freshness.
(4)Kristin A.
So happy to find out, ZO offers boboa now! My husband and I moved to the area 4 months ago and this has been the Best sushi place we've found. Their yello-tail sashimi is delicious! I am fan all things sushi, where my hubby has a less exotic palette. He really enjoys their Teriyaki Chicken. Though delivery can be a bit of a wait, it is worth it. Every thing we have gotten here has always been very fresh and filling. Got the Boboa thai-tea today, and it has been one of the best boboa I have tried in Colorado! Looking forward to more boboa flavors in the future , i.e. Almond milk tea?

I was brought here by someone whose mom is actually from Thailand, so that has to be worth something right? I actually do prefer the Thai food to the sushi here. The lunch special is great. Stars come off because I fell in love with the place over their chicken lemongrass soup, but it's not available all the time (or at least not last I checked). Gotta keep it on the menu to get the stars! I do love the panang curry though.
(3)Michelle T.
First time today..definitely worth a repeat visit. The sushi was great; not too cold or warm, the Sunshine roll was flavorful and they even added spicy mayo for me. My husband had a Thai dish and he was impressed with the balance of flavors. I would reccommend this restaurant.
(4)Alicia H.
$6 lunch specials! Salad soup and wonton. Loved the rice noodles with chicken I got and the fried rice ($4.95) my kids shared was good too. Kid friendly! Which is nice since my boy accidentally dropped a plate in the floor and my daughter kept missing her mouth. Really good service!
(4)Rebecca L.
Amazing wait staff makes this place a return location for me. The sushi and sashimi was fresh and the salad and soup quite tasty. Not a ton of variety for Sushi and the wait can be very very long so just under a five star.
(4)Sean L.
My friends and I have been coming to place since it was Siamese Plate! The Peanut Sauce dish is awesome! They have good portions for a fair price. My friends and I love to get entrees and split a few rolls of sushi! The staff is very friendly. I will be a long time customer for sure. Tips: Make sure you check out the Happy Hour 2 for 1 Hand rolls!
(5)Yanhua P.
Came here for the first time using Groupon, the lunch menu was huge and there were a lot of good choices. The Thai ice tea was delicious, and the lunch portion was large. Didn't try sushi but the Thai food was tasty, price was reasonable. The restaurant was clean. This could be a good regular lunch spot.
(4)J T.
Loved their pad Thai ... It's really good! I'm not usually into fusion Asian eats, but this place has the best of both cultures. They also have some of the most inventive and tasty sushi this side of Broomfield/Westminster. Definitely a safe bet for sushi! They have great service, they remember you and they have a great happy hour (happy hour all day Sunday and Monday) 20% off sushi, or bogo free beer and buy one get one hand rolls... I love their hand rolls.. LOVE them -the spicy salmon handroll is hands down what I come in for. Im also a huge fan of their black and white roll...Presentation is nice, they also deliver ... so be sure to try this lovely gem of a restaurant.

We went there last night. I at Japanese, my wife ate Thai and our friends at the sushi. Everyone had a great meal!
(5)Lan V.
I've been here a few times. Their food has been pretty consistent. The pumpkin curry is great but watch out if you don't like lots of fish sauce. They have the best drunken noodles I've tasted in this area. I'm giving them 5 stars now because I haven't been disappointed once with their service or food. Keep up the great work!

So, I thought I'd visit Zo more than once before I wrote a review. I wanted to try their sushi, and I wanted to visit at a busier time as well. Turns out Zo would have done better with just one visit from me. The first visit was for an early lunch of Una-Don, that Asian Bowl of Heaven: Sushi Rice topped with sliced, hot eel and sweet, sticky eel sauce. How could it be bad? Especially for $7. Great prices for lunch here. The Miso Soup was decent, lots of seaweed, which I love. They did forget to take the 20% Monday All Day Happy Hour special off my check, but really, for $7, who cares? The second visit, though, was a disaster on so many levels. I ordered the Dynamite appetizer, and specified it as such. "I'd like the Dynamite AS MY APPETIZER, and FOR LUNCH, I'll have the Sushi Lunch Special #2." Now, the lunch specials come with Miso Soup, and I'd also ordered a cooked appetizer. So I settled in for a wait. About 5 minutes go by, and the Sushi Chef hands me my Sushi Lunch Special #2. (6 Nigiri for $7. Deal, right??) Yeah, it looks good, but I haven't had my soup or appetizer yet. I set it aside and wait some more. The waiter (I'm confused as to why all the waiters are strapping young frat-boy, Abercrombie-Model types in an Asian restaurant. But I digress...) So the waiter notices I've set my Sushi aside, and says, "Oh, your dynamite will be out soon. It takes a long time." Good job, Tiger, but maybe then you don't put the lunch order in until the customer has GOTTEN their "takes a long time" appetizer. And no mention of the soup. Just sayin'. About 4 minutes later, though, be brings the soup, unannounced. With one lone piece of seaweed swimmin' in it. *sigh* So, let's recap: Order. Entree. Soup. Wait. Wait, what? Oh, yes. Wait. About 25 minutes. At which point I'm teetering on eating my Nigiri and being done with it. But! That's when I hear the timer on the Toaster Over ding. Yup. I said Toaster Oven. Sigh. Apparently, Abercrombie Boy had the Sushi Chef prepare my long-awaited dynamite in his Eel Toaster. Well, whatever, it's finally here. And it even has the promised sprinkle of Masago atop it's bubbling surface. Woohoo. Unfortunately, that's where the Woohoo stops. The Dynamite was chopped almost to small to identify separate fishes. Maybe this preparation would have been okay for a topping on some sort of creative Maki (Sushi Roll), but in this instance? As an appetizer? It was kinda like a Tuna Melt. I felt gypped. Here's what I could identify: Definite Shrimp. Definite Krab. (Yes, folks, I said Krab. With a K.) Possible Squid (White, tubular/julienned chewy sticks about 1.5 inches long.) Possible Octopus (I thought I spied a lone tentacle. A small one. From the end of the limb.) So, yeah, after that half-hour wait, the Dynamite was quite the disappointment. I moved onto my Nigiri: 1 Tuna, 1 Shrimp, 1 Hamachi, 2 Salmon, 1 Eel. Tuna and Hamachi were good. Shrimp was typical. Not my fave, but fine. Eel, as we know from previous visit, is divine, but in this case, it had sat for 30 minutes, and was cold. Sigh. And the Salmon. The color of the Salmon was beautiful rich orange. But it had been sliced in that "wrong" way... you know, where you can see the lines, so close together, and you bite into it, and it kinda strings between your teeth? Yeah, like that. And since Salmon is my absolute fave, this was more of a downer than the Dynamite. Add to that the fact that Abercrombie Boy (Or Other Abercrombie Boy, or Sushi Chef) declined to acknowledge that they'd forgotten, or screwed up, or whatever, my dynamite, let alone apologize for bringing out the food in completely screwy order... I mean, it was like a Dyslexic Lunch! An apology would have sufficed. A gesture of good faith, such as, oh, I dunno, "Your appetizer is on us" would have impressed me. Hell, I woulda taken that 20% they owed me from the other day. But no, everything was Hunky-Dory in their world. So, I'm between 2 and 3 stars on this one, because it's been somewhere between "Meh" and "Okay." Not a glowing endorsement, to be sure, but I'm leaving it at 3 because chances are, I'll be back. That Eel Bowl was really a great deal...

I don't get out for lunch often, and when I do, it's usually with my husband (who hates any sort of Asian food AND hates fish.) So I figured I'd try this place out. I used to get some pretty good sushi at a place where I used to work, and I was hoping for the same here. The sushi was...fine. I ordered the Maki special to go, which was supposed to come with soup and salad. I only got the soup. Pretty minor complaint, really. But since the sushi was just fine, I'm giving this one 3 stars. I probably won't go there again.

I've been looking for great thai food in the suburbs for awhile, and I finally found it. I came here with my mom and sister for the lunch special and was really impressed with the authenticity of the food, as well as how caring the staff was. I ordered pad see ew with beef and it was the best I've had of any thai food in the area. The lunch special also comes with soup, salad and a crab wonton. I gave it 4 stars because I wanted Tom Yum soup but they didn't have any made, so I wish they would specify on the menu which soups are offered on which days. However, I did try the coconut soup and considering I don't like coconut at all, I enjoyed it. It was a very unique flavor. The woman who served us was so sweet and made sure we were enjoying our food. I am going back soon and I recommend it to anyone looking for a deal on some real authentic Thai cuisine.

We ate at Zo Sushi and Thai because of the good reviews, but were sorely disappointed. First there was a dish rag smell from the table top, but the waitress was very nice and sprayed it with a cleaner, which fixed the problem. My wife ordered a Japanese salad, which was just lettuce with ginger dressing. She liked it. I ordered a Thai salad, which was much bigger and came with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and chicken, with a peanut dressing. It was pretty good. My wife ordered an eel and avocado roll, which she liked and I didn't. Then we ordered Pad Thai with shrimp and beef ka-pow, which they called graprao. The ka-pow was very light on beef and full of vegetables. I thought it was OK, while my wife liked it better. The worst part of the meal was the Pad Thai. My wife tasted it and thought it was awful and wouldn't eat any more. I tried it and thought it was just fair, so I kept eating it. After finishing most of it, I came across an awful taste, which was what my wife tasted right from the beginning. It tasted like something spoiled. That was it for me. Even if it had been good, there were only five shrimp in the entire dish. The service was very nice, but the food was substantially sub-par, so we won't give them another try.

Yelpers, Thi place is good sushi for the price. I love quality sashimi so I tried both sushi and sashimi and was more impressed with their sushi. the sashimi was ok but could have just used that extra something that is difficult to explain but so easty to note in high quality sushi places. so average experience, but an extra star for a good price! cheers Steve
(3)Gabe M.
I was not impressed by this place. We had things off the sushi menu mainly. Fried rice was terrible. Fish was ok, not too fresh but not bad. Traditional rolls only came with 2 pieces which made it not much of a value. Spent $60 on lunch with my wife and didn't feel satisfied. Service was slow and the floors were pretty dirty as well. I certainly won't rush back here.
(2)Jessica D.
Always have courteous staff, great lunch specials and at happy hour they are booming with business. It's a great place to stop in and feed a craving. Everything is delish, fresh and served in a reasonable amount of time. They have great coupon deals for the locals in the neighborhood mailers and do have Living Social coupons that make their reasonable prices spectacular.

Perhaps deserving of a 4 after another visit. We went for lunch on a Saturday, when there is no lunch menu. As frequent and cost conscious diners, that's always a slight bummer for us. We were the only people in the place. It's conveniently located next to a Radial Shaft, which was also empty. We ate outside and it was lovely, with shade at 11am. Our server was attentive, courteous, and flamingy of an "alternate" orientation. I wanted to try the Pumpkin Curry special, but my stomach was feeling sensitive, so I ordered peanut/coconut curry with brocoli and chicken. Although the sauce was unusually thick, t was not oily or greasy but was not spicy or salty either. Very soothing. My partner had Po Tak, a spicy soup that had the right amount of spice and seafood for her taste. Not salty, and only one imitation crab leg. There are so many Thai/Sushi combo restaurants around. I'm a sushi lover, as is my partner, but we almost always wind up eating off the Thai menu. As a side note, there were many Fords in the parking lot, struggling to run, and making creaking and squealing noises as they attempted to accelerate. I'm not sure why there was a concertration like that, but then I don't drive Fords. If you drive one, consider alternate parking or performing an appropriate ritual.

New management and so far they restaurant is very promising. Thai and sushi have little to do with each other but they seem to pull it off as if they have two totally separate kitchens. For thai, they're are doing an excellent job. Been there twice and both meals have been very good. Once ordered the staple of all thai restaurants, their pad thai. Other time ordered yellow curry. Would have been happier if they offered brown rice, or a hotter spice level, but it was delicious. For sushi, I'm not quite sure. Too many cooked ingredients. They're a bit heavy on the sauce coverings. However, they're creative and although it wouldn't be my first choice sushi, it was very enjoyable. The staff is very attentive, and the service is first rate. I wouldn't drive 15 miles to this place, but if you live in the neighborhood, consider yourself lucky. Once ordered delivery. They had a $15 minimum; told me 45 minutes and had the order to me in less than 20 minutes, steaming hot.
(4)Michael K.
As with some of the others who've reviewed this restaurant, the sushi is average at best. But the Thai was very good. Curry was above average, the Three Taste Chicken (while perhaps slightly more Chinese than Thai) was very good, and the Pad See Ewe was light and flavorful. Portions are average, service is friendly, and the lunch specials are a great deal! Several options for about $5 or so, and all were good. Definitely a good restaurant option.
(4)Megan D.
Really good Green Curry with chicken, onions, and zucchini. I wasn't a fan of the eggplant but otherwise delicious. Service was good - young guy was super attentive and he didn't seem to mind me studying in the back but I'm not so sure about the Asian guy who kept looking at me funny (I assume he is the owner).
(4)Melissa H.
We were craving some spicy Thai food for a hangover from the night before. This had been on my list and I'm glad we finally tried it. The fresh ginger curry with chicken was really, really good. My only wish was that my nose hadn't been stuffed up so that I could've enjoyed it even more! It was full of zucchini slices, carrots cut in the shape of stars, and red bell peppers. The coconut milk base cut the spice just enough. Our other dish was the jungle curry which I thought was extremely spicy. It was filled with even more veggies than the ginger curry and did not have the coconut milk added. We really enjoyed both dishes and had enough to take home for another meal. A single bowl of curry would've been enough for the two of us. I will definitely be back to try out their other dishes and maybe improve upon the 3 star initial rating. Surprisingly tasty spot for curry in Broomfield :)

Ive lived in 5+ states and traveled to other countries. By far, this is the Best Restaurant for Red Curry! I come here all the time. Friends and family become fans of Zo. As I've said, Zo has THE BEST RED CURRY. Its full of flavor, spices, and coconut milk. Perfection. I can handle med-high spice, my friend can handle very low spice (pepper even bothers her lol). In the end we both love their Red Curry. I have friends and family who have tried their other curries. My friend loves green curry but she says the Red Curry is much better. Zo's Red Curry beats these places I visited (all of which have strong asian influences): Hawaii, Toronto and China. I know the difference between Thai and Chinese specifically, please note that if you are looking for Panda Express (chinese), this is not that. I enjoy their Lunch Specials. Their costs are right and their lemongrass soup is the best. Absolutely give this place a try. While I am not a fan of their entire menu, I would give this place 4 stars and their Red Curry 5 stars. Zo I love you. Red Curry all the way!
(4)Jessica M.
I can't get enough sushi, so when I saw the LivingSocial deal for Zo, I bought it immediately. Because I had never been there before, I wasn't sure what to expect. We were greeted right away, and our servers (we had two) were very friendly. We had the veggie tempura to start, and it was delicious! Then we ordered about five rolls (we love sushi). I was very impressed. The Hurricane roll was by far my favorite (my mouth is watering just thinking about it). Overall, I really enjoyed Zo and will definitely be back.
(4)Jon K.
Great little sushi spot. I came in about half hour before closing and ordered three rolls and some tuna. I thought they all tasted great and they didn't skimp my tuna pieces. I really enjoyed the ninja roll and the white tuna. Ask for garlic on top, it's great. I'll be returning with this 20% off coupon I just found.
(4)Marilynn C.
We've been patrons of Zo for a couple of years now. We usually get takeout but occasionally eat in. Every meal I've had there has been great. As before, the Thai fried rice is my favorite and I ask them to go easy on the onions, which they are happy to do. My husband gets the pineapple Thai fried rice. We also usually get the vegetable spring rolls. It's one of our favorite restaurants!
(5)Ramon G.
Stumbled on this place looking for May Wah. My lunch crew was looking for some Thai food so we checked out Zo. None of us tried the sushi so this review is s just for the "Thai". Although the menu has all kinds of choices from stir fry to curry. I tried the Pad Thai. A mountain of noodles, fresh veggies and a good amount of spice. I snuck in a bite of the phad see syew. Great flavor and very generous portion. In other words, come here hungry. Run around the block a few times. Great lunch place considering the food came out fairly quick.
(3)Monica I.
If you're craving sushi, you could do better somewhere else. But the Thai food is pretty good, and the prices are awesome. However, I'd recommend getting it delivered and avoid actually eating in the restaurant. It used to be a Siamese Plate on the Go, if I remember correctly. You walked in and slid your tray down the line, grabbing items as you went. Then you paid at the register and sat down. They took out the tray sliders and put in a sushi bar. They took out the bright plastic and replaced it with some dark wood. But somehow it retains the cafeteria feel of the old place, to me. And it's not treated any better by the staff. The tables are usually dirty. The chairs are often broken. You can see layers of dust in places. But as long as you don't lick the table you should be fine. The last few times I was there I was joined by multiple tables of crying babies and screaming kids. Is this turning into a "family friendly" restaurant? The last time I was there the volume was even louder with a huge party of people having a boisterous meal. Putting the bad atmoshpere aside, the food is hit or miss. The sushi usually isn't very good. The fish is only fresh-ish and definitely not great. Items are not put together with any sort of flair or precision. It's a bit better than the sushi you'll get at the King Soopers next door. I've had a Japanese salad as well as their miso soup. Neither one was very good (I had no interest in finishing my salmon skin salad). I recommend that you order off of the menu, instead. They have a lot of great curry options, and everything I've tried has been really good. You'll get bigger portions in other restaurants, but it all tastes great. I've only tried larp once, and only here. I'm not really a fan, but I don't have any other larp to compare it with so what do I know? I have also had the pad Thai, which I really liked. I have had food delivered from Zo, but they don't do a great job with the packaging or the portions. I tend to order from other sushi places when I feel like sushi in front of the TV. It seems like they could really save this place if they made it less like a cafeteria and gave up on the sushi completely. A real focus on Thai food would do wonders. Still, I'll keep coming back for the curry.
(3)JT A.
Great sushi and Thai. Skeptical about the mix? Yeah, so was I. Give it a try and I think you'll be adding this restaurant on your rotation of places to eat. The menu for both sides are very deep and the staff is friendly and helpful. Don't be afraid to ask questions or ask for a recommendation. The decor is tasteful and suitable for a date, and if you go early enough it's family friendly too. I don't know what more to say other than great sushi and good Thai food as well.
(4)Ken K.
Zo Sushi and Thai Restaurant: Because why *just* be a sushi restaurant or *just* a thai restaurant when you can be both!? Being a drunken noodle fan (a noodle lush?), I first oped for Zo's own version of this not-so-rare delicacy. If they have a private name for the item, it must be exceptional, right? Wrong. While all the ingredients were fresh and vegetables bountiful, the sauce was surprisingly weak and thin noodles were used instead of the tastier and more common large pad noodles. On my second trip, I tried a lunch special: for about $6, you get a cup of soup, a wonton, an egg role, and an entrée! Holy bargain, batman! Unfortunately, however, my entrée itself (pad thai) was again lacking in the flavor sector. Zo is almost there, but not quite. It just needs to revisit its choice of noodles and infuse stronger, bolder spices in its sauces.
(3)Johnny C.
I thought the sushi was good, inside was nice and service good . But, for a place located between a MacDonald's and a King Sooper I was expecting better value. Maybe if they included a salad or soup with one of their combination plates I would go back. But I thought it was way too expensive considering where it is. They never seem to be too busy either, maybe if they created more budget oriented meal options they would be busier and end up being more profitable than just by gouging fewer customers. Beers were reasonable though.
(3)Justin D.
Stumbled upon this place using the urbanspoon app and pleased with the outcome. Was instantly greeted by the sushi chef and was then seated by our server. Menu was quite large seeing how it is a blend of Chinese, Thai and Japanese. Ordered the Summer roll sushi to start off with and when arrived was blanketed in tempura crunchies. Was very subtle on the different meats. In this case it was fried crab and spicy tuna which it did very well complementing each other. My entree was the Seafood Udon and arrived beautifully presented. Broth was almost like a red blend wine in that it would begin to evolve on your pallet and grow kindly. Slightly dissapointed in the artificial "squid" but the broth did what it was supposed to and assisted in flavor. Had a mix up with the check but was instantly resolved. Very satisfied with my visit and would most definately choose Zo over the Nikki Manaj persona that is East Moon. Go Zo!
(4)Ashleigh P.
I guess it's more like a 3.5 here, but the pros outweigh the cons, so I'll be generous. There's not much to say about a suburban Asian "fusion" place, fusion meaning sushi, Japanese, and Thai. The menus are so extensive, it was almost kind of confusing deciding what to get. We had a coupon for some free sushi, so my friend and I go the drunken noodles and some sushi to share. The portions were large, and the prices were inexpensive, especially after the coupon. The sushi was not the best, but not the worst; generic is a good way to describe it. The service was great, and since my friends dine here frequently, many workers in the restaurant knew them, so that's always a good thing.
(4)Jake L.
Zo has some of the freshest sushi in town. Try the Funky roll, orange dragon, and Nonja rolls. Tempura is great!
(5)Neuy D.
For the Thai food Alone : $5 lunch special M-F. Food is good, portions are decent, and service is great. In a smaller city this would be 5 stars but I felt that the food played it safe and could have used more spice.
(4)Daniel M.
Really good sushi, but the staff is young and a bit slow to service.
(4)Tara B.
If you want Thai and your date wants sushi, this is the restaurant to visit. There are so many choices that no matter who you take or how many people you have to please - everyone will find something they'll like to eat. Since there are 3 menus to look through, it can take awhile to figure out what to order. The food is 4 stars. I ordered the Massaman curry and it was divine. I loved the rich flavors, the texture of the tofu and the generous pieces of potato. The portions were HUGE with a hefty amount leftover to make a fabulous lunch the next day! I tasted my dinner-mates sushi as well and it was fresh and delicious. They only had one kind of hot sake, but with all the other choices you are faced with, I was almost grateful. The service was friendly, but the decor is a little unsettling. Citrus colors everywhere, it almost looks like a cheesy Mexican restaurant, but with lanterns. A solid A-OK. I wouldn't go here to introduce someone to either cuisine, but a great place for a group of friends to spend a pleasant evening dining and debating the meaning of life.
(3)Jen S.
We had plenty of recommendations for this restaurant but we never had the opportunity to try it till last night. Food was amazing with great prices for sushi. The owner came and talk to us and was super friendly. I highly recommend this place!
(5)Art M.
My little ditty on Zo.. They have very good Pad Thai... I usually get the shrimp PT.. also coming in second would be the beef PT.. The Sushi bar has good sushi not the freshest otherwise my review would be 4. I have had Tako many times here, but sometimes the Sushi bar has a fish smell... to Sushi connoisseurs this is a no-no as there shouldn't be any type of fish smell in a well runned Sushi Bar.. It only happened once.. or so.. but hey this was the only Sushi place on my side of town... Overall this place gets a 3star due to their very tasty Pad Thai!!!

The spring rolls I had last night were the worst spring rolls I've ever had! I was so disappointed. I expected fresh veggies and tasty tofu wrapped in light, translucent, rice paper. Instead I got what seemed to be almost a crepe with cloyingly sweet, spongy tofu rolled inside. And, don't get me started on the gelatinous dipping sauce. To top it off, these things were warm--nothing like I've ever experienced. Sorry, Zo, I know you have loyal followers; methinks they've never had a good spring roll.

The place rocks, the drunken noodles are the bomb. Their sushi is fresh and affordable and well prepared. Eat in or delivered, I eat here at least a few times a month. Recommend, for sure.

It is with sad heart that I withdraw my earlier comments about Zo's. The last several times we've eaten there, it's gotten more and more disappointing. Greasy, bland, cold food, and huge delays with delivery.

Decided to visit this place after disappoint with food portion from last visit. Skimpy cut on sashimi. When u said Sushi, I can said I am the expert of this kind food. I have been to many sushi restaurants in or out state, I don't mind to pay full price. Saw advertisement on the window said 20% OFF on SUSHi 3-6pm daily & All day Monday & Sunday (no limitation) and when we got the bill, the server & manager said only "roll", SASHIMI or special sushi roll doesn't part of SUSHI. Really SASHIMI or Special roll is not SUSHI? FYI, Surprise bill is in the menu.....Beware...Service was ok, sashimi cut much better than before. Food was ok. Chairs was uncomfortable, dark environment, need more warm lighting....well I definitely not going to visit this restaurant for awhile

I like the idea of having three menus. Sushi, Thai, and Japanese. For a town as small as Broomfield, you can put together a healthy entree of Asian food. I haven't tried the Sushi, however the Japanese Salads as well as the Pad Thai are very good.
(3)Jerome J.
Not bad for a restaurant that serves Thai and Japanese. We ordered a round of spicy tuna and sashimi. Both were very good and tasty. Will definitely be back as this place is very close to home.

I am always on the lookout for a place that is -- 1. Close to home 2. Can satisfy my sushi craving 3. My husband will like enough to ignore the fact that I am eating sushi right in front of him. He thinks it is gross. Zo is that place. It's not awesome, but it's pretty darn good though. My hubby always finds a dish that he likes! The sushi is standard and although I prefer a bit more creativity than they offer just being able to have sushi with the hubs sitting at the same table as I am is way cool. The other pluses are the service is great! It's attentive, friendly, but not annoying. The prices are also good. They have a great happy hour menu. All in all we likey.
(3)Jason S.
I have had both their sushi and Thai food. I enjoyed the Thai food a bit more than the sushi I had. That is probably because I only had vegitarian sushi. Delicious Thai Iced Tea!

I have not much experience with Thai food but I will definitely be back to Zo's again. I had the Ginger Curry and it was to die for. My husband found it a bit on the sweet side, opting for the red pepper curry which he loved. The prices are extremely reasonable (about $8 per entree) and the service is stellar.

I love this place! Great service. Sushi and curry here are really good. You gotta try their plumb wine, very tasty.
(4)John S.
I really dig the tofu pad thai. It's some great stuff. Made just at the right level of spiciness so you can feel it, but you're not going to stay up late with heart burn. The pineapple curry was really good. Sweet, spicy, and kinda creamy. The sushi is fairly good, nothing to write home about, but certainly worth it's price. No complaints on the service. I'll go again next time I'm in town.

We get sushi from Zo every Sunday. I've never actually eaten in the restaurant, but this has definitely become our "go to" place for sushi. The staff is extremely nice, and the sushi is fresh and delicious! The panang curry is also amazing. They have extended happy hour prices on Sundays and Mondays. If you miss that, there's almost always a coupon in the local coupon mag.

My 5 star rating is based on the THAI food I've ordered for the past couple of years. I am not a fan of their sushi but the THAI FOOD is GREAT. 1. Pad Thai - beef, shrimp or chicken. Hands down the BEST restaurant pad thai in Colorado. My parents owned two southeast asian mom and pop restaurants and i'm chinese and southeast asian, so I have experience with southeast asian food. Trust me, if you can't make the pad thai yourself, then order it from here. 2. NUE NAM TOK - if you're eating there, get it! This grilled beef salad is GREAT. Take out - the meat was overcooked once for me. 3. LARP - chicken is GREAT!! The second best restaurant style Larp i've ever had (1st best is from chada thai in denver, co). You will NOT be disappointed. 4.Panang and Green Curry - If you can't make it yourself, the curry here is a very good substitute. I usually ask for NO broccoli for personal taste. 5. GRAPRAO Chicken - It's good if you like sliced chicken breast. I'm used to ground chicken breast. It is tasty though. 6. SEAFOOD FRIED RICE (KAO PAD TALAY) - DELICIOUS. THis is how fried rice should taste. Regular GRAPRAO FRIED RICE (KOA PAD GRAPRAO) is good too. 7. Fried Wontons - They're Good as an appetizer. not much to say, wontons are wontons. I've lived in Downtown Denver for 3 years and when i'm craving solid thai food, the drive to Broomfield is worth it for the food i've listed.

Definitely a fan of Zo and their delicious red curry and drunken noodles. I work nearby and it is always a treat to come here for lunch. It is very affordable, has great friendly staff with good service and a nice atmosphere. If you are in the area, definitely stop on in!

Great menu, Great Food, and a really nice staff. I enjoyed the panang. It was spicy but not overwhelming. They have great deals on meals before 3pm so I suggest going for their lunch since it is more than enough food for a cheap price.

Here are two Thai fanatics/critics review of this amazing local joint: We have been in the area for about a year, and have been trying to exclusively eat at locally owned restaurants to support the local economy. We have tried most of the places around, and we keep coming back to Zo. I don't personally like the concept or texture of raw fish, so I can't comment on the sushi, but my partner in crime, can; he will get to that in a minute. I have typically played it safe with the curries, loving them all, and they will make it hotter upon request. There is ALWAYS a sweet lady waiting tables when I or we come, as I have brought relatives from out of town to this place, as well as eaten here alone, or with my boyfriend. We have never been disappointed, and the prices are great, especially the lunch special. I recently ordered (tonight, actually) the Jasmine Roll and Red Curry, which tasted amazing. Although, I was considering for a while the Prig Khing, which is on the lunch special menu, which changes weekly, which I decided I would try later this week. They also have some coupon deals in the local coupon book that gets delivered by the postmaster. Overall, everything here that I've ordered has been delicious, and the waitstaff so kind, offering their opinions and information about the dishes. A great place to go, as it was even buzzing on a Tuesday after 8pm! Sushi review from the man: The Funky Roll is Awesome! A good place to take your girlfriend for around $50.

OK...I'm really fond of this place. The owners, staff and food are wonderful. They have expanded their menu and crowds are bigger than I've seen them before. Their food is really well done, especially when 'M' (sushi chef) is in the house (by the way, they have opened another location in Aurora...haven't tried it, but I'm sure it will be good...so check that out too if nearby). You cannot beat their Thai cuisine or Japanese sushi for quick, friendly and tasty meals for an affordably price (my kids will actually each sushi thanks to them). Hopefully you can stop in for a quick Jungle Curry (Thai curry without coconut milk) when Tim is cooking in the kitchen (make it spicy!) And say hi to 'Matt' (who is one of their best waiters) when you ask for a hot sake. Lunch or dinner, you can't go wrong at Zo (don't forget to try the mango sticky rice or, for a sweeter treat, the roti (yes...there is a thai desert called roti...just try it if you have a sweet tooth)). Keep up the good work Paul and Kay!

Relocate to Colorado, a co-worker took me to ZO in Oct, nice small place. The miso soup was cold, all I got was soup stock, no tofu, lack miso paste, no chopped green onion and no kelp (seaweed). I think they gave me Vegetarian miso. How can you go wrong with miso soup? I told the waiter, he return with instant miso from a package. Sushi is considered to be an art form because its appearance is just as important as how it tastes. Here the sushi is slapped together. I also order Pad Thai, I've never actually seen the red, oily pad thai in Bangkok Thailand. I see that this is common in many western Thai restaurants. Real Great Pad Thai is dry and light bodied, with a fresh, complex, balanced flavor. Noodles should be somewhat flexible and solid, not completely expanded and soft. Here is wet, sticky and too much food color.

2-4-1 sushi and beer on Monday night turned a family holiday outing for 12 (!) into something that didn't provoke an aneurysm when I got the bill. Smooth, friendly service was a bonus. They took good care of a big, rowdy group. This place earns another star.

Don't waste your time if you are looking for sushi - we came here and were completely disappointed. Every roll seemed to have either cream cheese or mayo on it which can only mean one thing - they are hiding some less than fabulous fish. Maybe their Thai would be good, but I will never know because once was enough for me! Sushi lovers, go elsewhere!
(1)Brock S.
it is nice to have 3 menus (thai, japanese, and sushi). while i have only sampled the Japanese menu, it leaves some more oriental options for others at the table. for having 3 menus, i'm surprised they do not have any hot and sour soup :( the sushi is good, however it is just a little pricey. the benefit is that its good sushi and its nearby for me. it it wasn't for location, i would probably go somewhere else due to price/value. i have no qualms with the quality of the food.
(3)Rachel S.
The thai food is pretty good here, but every time I go, the service is soooo slow. One time our waiter stood outside the front door for 15 minutes smoking and talking to his friends. Anyways, the pad thai is decent, better than other places nearby, so I'll keep coming back.
(3)Peter H.
Been here maybe less than a dozen times and It's a great thai restaurant. I especially enjoy their pumpkin curry though it's slightly sweet for my tastes. The hand rolls during happy hour are very reasonably priced as well, all day Sundays! The staff is super friendly here too so it's an added bonus.

I am not quite sure why this place is receiving an above average review... My girlfriend and I went the other night, and my overall rating is just OK. The server was a kid who was very enthusiastic about doing a good job. Although he was trying a little too hard, that is better than getting no attention. We liked him a lot, but liking him didn't make the food good. The food really is average, or just below. I suppose it is an ok place to get a sushi fix taken care of, but i definitely wouldn't call this good sushi. Fish was not that fresh, flavors were off. If you want a deep fried roll with no raw fish, you will probably be just fine. If you are looking for fresh tasting sashimi or other raw fish rolls, go elsewhere

Zo is not what it used to be. We are primarily delivery customers and have enjoyed their fine curries and sushi quite often. The last few times we've ordered from Zo, however, they have repeatedly not correctly delivered what was ordered. Order specifics seem to be patently ignored.

Not the largest sushi variety or portions in town. But I love the extensive Japanese and Thai menus. This is one of my go-to places.
(4)Brenna G.
This place is soooo good! I recommend the Penang curry. It's a good place to hit up if you can't decide between Thai food and sushi bar! They got both.. They have good happy hour as well. Only downside of this place is their hours..open and close for lunch/dinner..
(5)James J.
Worst pad thai I've seen or tasted. Almost no chicken. I asked for extra sauce and spicy, what I received was extra dry and extra bland. Noodles were so thin and overcooked they decentigrated instantly. Don't call yourself a Thai restaurant if you can't make this one simple dish! Stick with sushi. Also the delivery driver called 3 times because he couldn't find a very easily mapped address. Seriously? Google maps kid!

A gem tucked away in a strip mall in Westminster. A friend and I dropped in here with a Groupon on a Thursday night. We were really impressed with the quality of the food and the menu options. The seafood fried rice is amazing. Just do it. The sushi rolls are unique and delicious (we had something with white tuna and jalapenos). And, they have a small but good selection of sake by the bottle. And, it looked like they had a significant discount for happy hour. Just a great little Asian restaurant. I will definitely be back.

Very good sushi specials. Delicious curries. Fast, friendly service. Nice little cafe atmosphere. What a great find tucked into a shopping center in Broomfield. Excellent for lunch or dinner. Update: Stopped in for lunch today and found a wonderful selection of lunch specials. My daughter had the sushi and sashimi combo with an eel roll on the side. The sushi is very fresh and the rice is excellent. She says it's the best sushi in the area. I had the bento box and was delighted. It came with a couple pieces of nigiri sushi, a 4 piece California roll, tempura shrimp and veggies, and teriyaki chicken. All of it was beautifully prepared and delicious. I found the tempura particularly good. The batter was light and crispy. Not even the slightest bit greasy. The teriyaki chicken was a nice little portion and the teriyaki sauce was nicely subtle -- not overly sweet as some places serve. The meat was lightly sauced breast slices. Very nice! Service is fast and friendly without being overbearing. A perfect balance that allows diners to enjoy their meal, but not see the bottom of their glasses. Just right. The restaurant itself is a cozy little spot with music playing quietly. Casual Asian decor, with no distracting TVs.

We ordered take out from here, I got the curry chicken, a sushi few rolls, rolls, and fried calamari. The calamari and sushi were really good, as were the vegetable rolls. The chicken curry was really the only disappointment, for the price I would have expected more then 7 pieces of chicken and the small amount of rice. Even though the rice and curry were severally skimped out, it was really good, just wish I would have had more for the price. Since we got take out I wouldn't be able to comment on the service or inside of the restaurant. I would probably go back and try it out again, but probably only go for the sushi as those seemed to be worth the price.
(4)David G.
Service is good as is the food. There is a wide variety of dishes and the prices are reasonable. The only thing preventing a 5 star rating is I can't rate all of their dishes as "great" although many are. This is a regular stop for us.

Seeing a restaurant "specialize" in multiple kinds of food always has me a bit concerned, especially since sushi and Thai food are a little separated in terms of their origins and overall flavor. Since it's so close to my place of residence, I figured I ought to give it a try. Overall, it's not a bad place - but if you're looking for an *excellent* Thai place or an *excellent* sushi place, I have to admit that this isn't it. General Pros: -Good balance of salt. No menu item I ate was ever too salty or too bland. -Not overly pricey. Each dish is roughly $10-$14 including tip, so it's a fine place to eat at if you're on a somewhat tighter budget. It's not Taco Bell cheap though, so don't go in there expecting to be filled on $5. -The inside of the restaurant looks nice. It's a little bit of a dimmer atmosphere, giving it a higher-quality feel. The artwork and decoration is beautiful. General Cons: -Food sometimes takes a while (shortest has been 10 minutes, GREAT, and worst has been around 40 minutes, NOT GOOD) -Service is meh. They do their job. But nobody I've been served by or talked to has been particularly memorable or outstanding. -Their food is a little off sometimes, which I elaborate on below. Thai- Their Thai food tastes fine, but it's not of high quality. I've ordered a number of dishes from their menu, including Pad Thai, Pad see ewe, Graprao noodles, fried rice, and tom yum soup, and in each of the dishes, there's always something that's just not cooked right. For example, in one of my Pad see ewe orders, the broccoli was undercooked, and I, for one, happen to hate raw broccoli. In the Pad Thai dish, multiple times consistently, the noodles were cut extremely short and overcooked, so the short length and tendency to break apart easily made it difficult to eat with chopsticks and fork alike. The rice is generally fine, but it's inconsistent - I've had extremely dry rice, some perfect rice, and then some extremely soggy, mushy rice. Sushi- Sushi is also OK. The fish isn't super fresh, but it's fairly good for the price being charged. The flavor is also fine, but it just doesn't have the melt-in-the-mouth, delicious texture that other sushi restaurants have delivered. Once again, it's good, but it's not excellent or great. After having eaten a few times, I absolutely wouldn't mind going back to eat every now and again. But it's not a place that I am dying to introduce to friends or loved ones.

Fresh ingredients which is a must for me at any place that serves sushi. Great lunch specials & they have an awesome peanut sauce! Upscale hole in the wall kinda place.
(5)John T.
First time here and chose the place because we couldn't decide what to eat. Good thing you can get a variety from Thai to Sushi here. We sampled the won ton soup which was just ok. A couple of sushi rolls had good flavor but a little on the small side. The main courses were chicken teriyaki and drunken noodles (pictured). I am used to more sauce on the noodles but great flavor and portions on the entrees. We'll be back and hope to hit happy hour because who doesn't love happy hour sushi?
(4)Bill C.
First time here and ordered chirashi takeout. Very small portion of actual fish so it felt like I had just spent $16 for a bowl of sticky rice. Fish was not all that fresh. Rice with chirashi should be flavored and this was not. Miso soup was good. Definitely the first and last visit.
