Good location. Good beer. This brewery is all about the ping-pong. They have tables, tournaments and even serve their beer sampler on a ping-pong paddle. I really like that this place has multiple hoppy beers. When I was in, they had a pale ale and three regular (non Black/White) IPAs. They had a brittish-style IPA (less punch you in the face bitter than American), a good American IPA and an Amarillo Hopped IPA reminiscent of Epic's Escape to Colorado. Yum. They do not fill growlers here. But, you can get your brew to-go in a 32oz can. They could use a couple more folks behind the bar pouring beers. It wasn't packed when I was in on a Thursday afternoon, but we were definitely keeping the beertender busy pouring samples, canning to-go beer, pouring drafts, etc. I love that they are in an area where you would do lots of errands. This is a great spot to take a break from shopping, etc.

Our fav neighborhood place for cold beer! Excellent brews and a friendly staff! Different food trucks everyday for snacking! Love this place!
(5)Lauren D.
Overall, I liked Wonderland. I wasn't blown away, but I did like it. The IPA I had was extra hoppy and delicious and of the three other beers I tasted, it seems like they have lots of good things to offer. I had my mom order the shandy and I thought it was great! Love that they have a bunch of space, including two outdoor seating areas and that they supply you with a food truck. If we were in the area, I wouldn't mind going back.
(3)Jenny B.
We've been coming here for a few months and would not go anywhere else. The hospitality is great. Kevin is on top of his game making sure you're well taking care of. Wonderland has some of the best tasting beers in Denver.
(5)Rick I.
Favorite brewery I've been too. Friendly staff. Fun atmosphere and can bring our dog!
(5)Dave P.
Wonderland is a nice brewery with a good selection, great service and nice atmosphere. A huge venue with some nice artwork on the wall, small stage and plenty of seating. All in all, very nice place. It would have earned another star if they didn't charge for the table games like Ping Pong. An hourly charge isn't really neccessary.
(3)S H.
I've been three times. I had decent service once, not great. When I asked for a taster the person seemed annoyed. Maybe they expected the me to order flight but I was alone. And driving. I'm a craft beer beginner but started going to breweries to learn, fresh draft and try new craft beer. I felt others were more welcoming to beginners I ended up with an amber (safe choice). It's not one I'd go out of my way to visit.
(2)Amy D.
While this place is nowhere near my regular 'hood, the beer and atmosphere make it a worthy stop if you're up north. Great Alice in Wonderland theme, fun games to play, huge outdoor seating area and the Orange Crunch made an appearance the day I was there. Will I be a regular? Probably not. Will I recommend it? Totally.
(4)Wade C.
Wonderland is near my neighborhood which is a plus. Better yet, the Black IPA is super drinkable and one of the best I've tasted. Today's pumpkin ale was just opened and its a winner. Very sharp with a not too strong pumpkin overload. Let's talk family or friend entertainment. Ping pong tables of championship quality and a few other games for the young ones. Let's think bands and entertainers. I've heard some really great musicians and small bands here. I hope they keep this coming. Last but not least. Great service so far and the owner/manager (Kevin) recognizes me and always has a good friendly conversation and a solid beer recommendation.
(5)Nick A.
This place had me sold at first sight of ping pong tables! I came here when they first opened and was unimpressed with their beer, but over time the beer has greatly improved. Space wise this brewery is extremely large with outside seating in the front and cornhole games out back. 5 Ping pong tables and a large bar area inside with live music occasionally make this a great place to hangout.
(4)Sarah S.
One of my absolutely favorite places to go grab a beer (Alice Blonde) and play some ping pong. They have an awesome patio to play cornhole and enjoy the wonderful weather. Their beer is delicious and I love that they have a different food truck every day. Things I'd change: Kids should not be allowed in there after a certain time. This is straight up a BAR, kids should not be in here period. There hours, I feel they close a little to early.
(4)John W.
Wonderland Brewing is a great hang-out, but a sophisticated microbrew, I'm not entirely convinced. The high-point of this establishment is the layout. They have two outdoor areas, both with picnic tables and umbrellas. One of the two outdoor areas features 3 built-in bag-o set-ups for lawn games at the brewery. (I like where their head's at) They also have a large indoor area with a wrap-around bar and tables. In addition, they have a number of ping-pong tables. (I wish more breweries had ping-pong tables) One of the issues I have with Wonderland is the same issue I have with any place that serves beer and not food (it's the no food part). I understand that it's not their game, but especially when drinking the heavier beers that you find at some breweries, some beer nuts, or cheese fries, or really any bar food would be nice. The beer was pretty good. I will not profess to have an overly-sophisticated beer palate, but both the Peach-Wit and the Strawberry Dandy Shandy seemed overly sweet. The Anniversary Barley Wine, however, was an interesting high-point. Bottom-line: The ambience and activity potential is the reason to go to Wonderland. If you're having fun, you won't have a problem with their microbrews that sometimes come up a little short.
(3)Larissa T.
Been coming here for a year. Tonight I noticed children and dogs running around the entire night. A dog even came and peed on the patio near our table. No one said a thing or batted an eyelash. But as soon as we lit up a cigarette to smoke on the patio, where by the way there was no sign saying its non smoking the rude red headed bartender girl came up to tell us there's no smoking. Okay. As we got ready to move the rude gentleman with the beard came and yelled at us and told us there's "no smoking 25 feet from HIS patio! " Where state law is 15 feet from the front entrance. But it's okay to have drunk adults around small children and dogs peeing everywhere. Rude staff. We won't be returning service has been going downhill for awhile and this tonight shows its not improving.
(2)Roy H.
Wonderland is a big place..lots of seating inside and out and event some extra space in the brewing area. They even have TV's so you can watch sports..and the beer is pretty solid too! I came here for a bottle share with some friends of the owners. That being said a LOT of rare and awesome beer was had this evening. We finished off with a Wonderland sampling platter. I recall the bourbon black IPA and Saison being some of my favorites. The staff was super nice and fun to hang out with..they really know their beer! They will begin canning soon..I can't wait to be able to pick some of their stuff up in my local liquor store!
(4)Shane T.
This place is a ways out of the way if you are from Denver but would be great for large groups. The space is extremely large, I think overly large for the amount of customers they serve. Ping pong is $10/hr which tells me they have to make money on anything they have to pay the bills. Large outdoor patio as well as outdoor basketball hoops and cornhole with more tables. The beer was decent but nothing to brag about
(3)Jesthenia F.
Great service. Great beer. Definately have to try the cats pajamas and if you're a fan of bourbon my new personal favorite the Anniversary Barley Wine. But make sure to have a DD for these ones!
(4)Karen S.
Great beer! Love the amber. We live walking distance away and have made this place our regular spot!
(5)Shannan M.
I love this place! The beers are terrific, my favorite is the stout and the Hoptail IPA. The theme is super cool, although it is a little confusing- beers are named after Alice and Wonderland theme, the brewery is also, the logo is the Cheshire cat smile, and that its. The rest of the place looks like a large shed with a bunch of snowboards and ping pong tables? I wish the kept the fantasy thing going. Anyway, the bartender is awful at first, she looks like she hates everything. But she is actually pretty cool if you get to talking. I think it's just a case of resting b*tch face and never smiling. They do trivia on Mondays which is fun. I would definitely recommend it!
(4)Amy A.
Love this place! Laid back, good beer, fun indoor and outdoor games and, best of all, dog-friendly!
(5)Scott G.
In full disclosure I can bike here without touching a street so I'm a little biased. Decent beer, a great space, and I think this is the only place in town for live music. Perhaps the only negative I can come up with is that it's kind of a boring crowd, lots of guys that wear tennis shoes and t-shirts tucked into jeans. That's more of a reflection of living in Broomfield than the bar though.
(5)Cyndi P.
Best scene and beer. Kid friendly and a great place to kick back with friends and make new friends. This is our favorite brewery in co
(5)Scott T.
Nice to have a decent brewery so close to home. I've only sampled a couple beers so far, but enjoyed the Three Putt Pale Ale and Good Gose. I don't really care about playing ping-pong, but it looks like they have good tables. We'll definitely be back!
(4)Rick P.
I enjoy many of the craft beers in this great state of ours and was disappointed with myself because Wonderland had been open for a year and I had not stopped in yet. Walking in on my first visit I liked the openness & decor of the place. I was envisioning coming back many times to enjoy the fun and games and the large outdoor venue. The place was moderately busy and I sat at the bar. And I sat at the bar..... No acknowledgement, no, "hello, I'll be right with you". I sat for far too long before I finally had to wave my hand in front of one of the beer-tenders asking for service. The service I did get from the young lady was curt and unfriendly. I had to give credit card to open tab. Normally not an issue unless they put the charges on the card without asking when I wanted to pay cash. I wasn't sticking around after my 1st purchase because of the service. I got the 6 beer sampler and did enjoy the beer. My favorite was the Black IPA. I may or may not go back. If I experience the same service, I will Yelp again and won't return. There are way too many breweries around town to return to a place that is not welcoming and appreciative of your business! Service with a smile is not just a saying. :-D
(2)Carey O.
Food truck idea is HORRIBLE. Have been sitting here for 1 hour and been served a pickle and chips. That's GREAT SERVICE.
(1)Doug Y.
This space was a church for a long time and then I believe it was a youth center? which explain the basketball courts and skateboard rails out back. The interior also is very "rec center-ish" which I actually think is cool. They have ping pong tables and a small stage indoors with booths, tables, and a horseshoe bar. I love to play games that require more skill than twiddling a game controller! The beers? I tried a flight of 7 beers and though they were all drinkable with no really great but no bad beers either. I think the Black IPA and maybe the Pale or IPA were my favs. They currently don't do growlers but will do a 32oz can to order of any of their beers on tap! A kind of fringe benefit for us with partners that don't drink, aren't into ping pong, basketball, lawn games, or live music but like to shop? they're located right next to a Kohl's department store! Genius! This would be a great place for a group of people that like to have a little physical fun with their beers. I see a UYE here at some point this summer.
(4)Candis H.
Cool atmosphere! Good prices. Ping ping tables, basketball hoop out back, food trucks out front. Fun evening
(4)Dan R.
Worst service I've ever had. We came in with a Groupon and the lady behind the counter treated us terribly from the moment we said we had one. We got done with our beers and with the Groupon you are supposed to get a 32 ounce beer to take home. When we came back to leave and get our take home beer she brought up some random beer. I told her we didn't want that flavor and she said that's what we ordered I told her we hadn't even ordered a beer yet she turned from us gave us a smirked and said ya you did. Great beer but she ruined the place for us.
(1)Laura R.
My husband and I come here as much as we can. We love that we can bring our dog with us! They have a great venue and live music on some nights. They do not serve food.. I think that's how they can be so dog friendly... but they regularly have food trucks parked outside. They are usually pretty good. I don't even like beer and this is my go to hang out spot! It is also close to us which is nice. I have found a couple on their menu that I like... the double is my fav :) Overall, I recommend this place; especially if you like to take your pup with you!
(4)Kevin F.
Belgium Black Lager... Great taste ! And MLB network always on.Thankful that Kohl's next door, Wife drops me off and off she goes.... Ha.
(4)Keith G.
Found this by accident a while ago and would kinda prefer if others didn't find it but this place is just done right and deserves to succeed. Total CO joint,, laid back with its own feel and really good beer. I love you can have your dog and still eat good food that is always changing from food trucks. Service is cool and Kevin took care of us. Just a all round fun place that is doing there thing
(5)Dee Ann H.
It's so nice to have a good microbrew in Broomfield. I especially liked the Saison de Geebes. Everybody who works here really nice and attentive. One of my new faves!
(5)Justin G.
Very cool brewery! When I visited they had the following on tap: Amber Dubbel IPA Black IPA (3 Putt) Pale Ale Blonde (Alice) Peach Wit I decided to go with the full flight for starters. At $6.00 for a full flight I felt it was a good deal. Their bar seats around 30 people comfortably, and there are plenty of booths and bar tables in the bar area as well. There is also a really nice seating area outside that is accessed though a large garage door that they had pulled open since it was a nice day. They also have a separate area with 6 ping pong tables (beer pong anyone?!?!) The beers were tasty, the 3 Putt Pale Ale was my favorite of the bunch. The music they had playing ranged from Alice in Chains to Green Day. The ambiance is very cool with snowboard strewn about(love me some Never Summer). The walls are a dark purple to go with their theme. They do not serve food but they do partner with food trucks show up around 5 pm each day. I will definitely come back often to try out some more of their beers and possibly play a little ping pong!
(4)Heather L.
We had the most uniquely wonderful experience at Wonderland tonight! Great beers, including one outside my normal preference. The owners were personable and even gave us a tour of the brewery. We ditched our plans in favor of closing the joint down with pizza and genuine conversation!
(5)Kellie A.
I purchased a groupon today for wonderland. It has great beer, great service and dog friendly. I would highly recommend. We will definitely be back! Great evening.
(5)Linda L.
Loved this brewery! Awesome place to hang out with lots of room. Live music on certain days and different food trucks every day. Would love it if they had pool tables. I would definitely go back.
(5)Kyle B.
Did not like a single beer and had problems getting served outside. Ended up giving away our Groupon deal.
(1)Jim C.
Wonderland has an incredible selection of specialty beers and has an exceptionally fun, family friendly environment. The beer is very unique and delicious and there's always something going on, from live music to yoga.
(5)Kim B.
Wonderland was the perfect place for our daughter's High School Grad. party. Everyone loved it! They had ping pong tables, corn hole, basketball courts and outdoor seating. Staff was really nice and they let us decorate too! We had two food trucks as well that worked out great!
(5)Mark S.
Cool bar with a friendly staff and very popular with locals. They have good beer and food trucks are usually parked outside and they often have live music on the weekends. This place has a cool Colorado winter theme with tables made from snowboards, a giant Colorado flag painted on a wall and even a South Park pinball machine :)
(5)Allie G.
Fun place, like the dogs running around Fun games, the live music was great! Beer was good, little heavy on the IPA selection, but I like IPAs so it was ok. Would definitely be back!
(4)Michael R.
Awsome place. Great beer and people. And to the guy that can't get served outside, you have to order at the bar which I think is better than having a server bug you every 5 minutes.
(5)Katie R.
The beers are just okay, maybe they will get better with time. The location and space are great. When the building was empty and we would drive by my husband would always say it would make a great brewery. Also enjoy that no one has ever seemed to mind when we have our daughter with us and when no one is playing ping pong they have let her play with the balls. The Barrel Aged Pumpkin Beer is really really good. I am not bumping up stars though, disappointed their owner won't give in and do growlers. They would get a lot more business from us, and others. People are always coming in trying to fill growlers.
(3)James S.
My friend and I each got tasters of everything they brew, and we couldn't find anything we really liked. This is too bad, because this place is so close to my house, and right on my way home from work. Also, Wonderland is kinda pricy on beer and ping pong table rental. No specials except for a ladies night on some weeknight.
(2)Mike P.
Fun place! Good beer! but...NO GLUTEN-FREE options! We arrived early on a Saturday night (about 6:30). The band was just starting to set up,..the games were on, music was loud, people were having fun! There was 6 of us total, 3 couples. 2 of the ladies are gluten-free. As soon as we ordered we were all totally let down and disappointed that there were no gluten-free options. I understand it is difficult to brew a gluten-free beer BUT, ..why not offer a simple house wine? Or, how hard is it to keep a case of Woodchuck or some other Cider in a cooler? The men all ordered a beer KNOWING we were one and done and would have to go somewhere else so the ladies could get a spirit. It's was a real shame because we all agreed we liked the place but had to leave. In the future I suggest adding some simple form of a gluten-free option. Money walked right out the door that night. Hopefully they will adapt and progress like so many other local business have in the very near future.
(3)Kevin W.
Great new find on the north side of town! Craft beers, ping pong, even pinball! Excellent fun open atmosphere. Owner is super cool local community feel. Food trucks and event nights based on day of week. Lotta fun highly recommended as place to meet w friends business/social or just enjoy a great beer! Great space...used to be an old church, really root for these guys worth the stop will be back soon!
(5)Jim S.
Big space, lot of room inside and out. Beer was average, place felt more like a bar than brewery.
(3)Amanda K.
We biked here and enjoyed 5 samples for $5. 3 oz each. We most enjoyed the porter with hazelnut. Free water and pretzels-pool table, music, trivia night, and food trucks. Definitely an up and coming brewery! There is a lot of space to grow and accommodate a big crowd.
(5)Chris M.
This place is awesome, the only real issue is that they don't sell growlers but rather these weird 32oz cans that seem like they should come in a paper bag (low class). The can of beer is expensive, when Big Choice Brewery and Westminster Brewery, refill growlers (64oz) for 12 bucks, Wonderland sells you a onetime use half the size can for the same price ... this blows. I do like the beer here though, can't complain about that. I also like the building as it is large and roomy. In talking to the owner they said they were going to put in volley ball courts (some people might like that) but more importantly, they are considering an playground for kids. I cannot tell you how huge even small entertainment for children would be at a place like this, especially out in the Westy burbs. Something for our kids to do why mom and throw back a glass of suds, that would be a real game changer.
(3)Matt L.
Space is huge and beer was awesome
(4)Cassandra F.
To say we were disappointed in our first visit here would be an understatement. We came in on a Saturday night to check out Wonderland. Our first impression was that it was really big and looked like a place we could hang out. Then we sat down at the bar. It took a while for anyone to come acknowledged us. There appeared to be only 3 bartenders working, which was surprising for how big the space was and how busy they seemed to be. When we were acknowledged, we didn't get a hi, an introduction, or even asked if we'd been in. Instead we got a very abrupt announcement that they don't do growlers. Okay, that was fine. We decided to order a taster and explained that we'd never been in before. Again, no customer service. Not one beer recommendation. We were just handed a paddle and a pen and told to write the numbers of the beers we'd wanted to try on the paddle. When we finished, the bartender took our paddle, filled our order and returned. The beer was nothing to write home about. The Irish stout had a weird and unpleasant after taste, their pumpkin beer tasted like straight cloves and the rest were pretty lacking as well. All in all, I'd say take your money over to Big Choice or 4 Noses. You'll get better customer service, better beer, and you can get your growler filled.
(2)Tony H.
Love this place!!! Outdoor patio, great beer!!!
(5)Kevin M.
I really like the beer, location, and the ambiance of the place. I would give Wonderland Brewing Company four or five stars except I have a fundamental problem with them charging $10 hr for ping pong. Ping Pong should be at no cost with the thought process of those playing ping pong will stay longer and buy more beer. After all, it is a brewery!
(3)Erik R.
I had a very similar experience as Rick P. Didn't feel welcoming at all, no Welcome, Hi, Thank you and had to wait to even be acknowledged when it wasn't even busy. Seems like the staff have some regulars and don't seem to care about any one else. I noticed that they're constantly chatting them up and don't pay much attention to anyone else. When they do help you it seems as if I've inconvenienced them and never a smile. I've been back several times since it's so close to my house and hope things would change (each time about the same level of service), since it could be a really cool place. I always find it strange too where one calls itself a brewery, but no brewing equipment to be seen. I'm sure it's off site some where, but without this it feels more like a bar. Semantics I know, but I think I'm done at this point.
(2)Jason H.
Tired the IPA and the Dubbel. I'm am a huge fan of IPA's and try them at every brewey I visit. I felt the IPA at Wonderland left much to be desired, and the the recipe needs to be re-worked. The Dubbel was a much better experience versus the IPA. I would order it on my next visit. One of the BIG downsides of this brewery is getting beer to go. While nearly every brewery offers growler fills, they refuse to. They instead want you to buy their large beer cans which they produce on-demand. The size of the can is a lot smaller than a standard 64 ounce growler and are $10+. I don't see any value in getting beer to go from here unfortunately. I'll stick to the breweries that offer growler fills at $10-15.
(3)Chris K.
Stopped in to check out Wonderland on the first day. It was a mad house so we left and drove over to another local brewery. However I have been waiting for months for this to open so I followed it up on the second day it was open. We started with the sampler. The peach wit was a solid summer beer, the blonde lacked much flavor. The pale ale and IPAs which are usually my go to were middle of the road. Although my palate has been trained to expect mondo hops and these don't provide that. What I found surprising was that beers I don't typically order I found to be fantastic. The Black IPA, dubbel and Amber were all top shelf. The out door patio will be taken advantage of frequently as I can walk here. The interior feels like they tried a bit too hard but no big deal to me. Fun place with the Ping pong tables and hopefully, eventually some come hole and or shuffle board out back. Heard rumors that they may keep the basketball courts, never really had the urge to shoot hoops one handed while drinking beer. Go with corn hole! Really looking forward to the rumor of sours and future beers to come as I have no doubt this review will increase with some sours. Not seen to make the effort. Welcome to the neighborhood!
(4)Kyle J.
Great atmosphere, live music is really cool! Plenty of ping pong tables to play, and home brews to choose from. Reasonable prices for good tasting drinks
(5)Johnny W.
Beers here are good but the growler policy is confusingly silly. The 32oz cans they sell instead are cheaply constructed and way overpriced.
(2)Joe M.
Cool space - lots of table and a good sized bar, ping pong, basketball courts, and a nice patio (albeit in a parking lot / strip mall feel). The beer is just ok so far. It's been getting a little better but I have had about 6 different ones there and none tasted much better than something I'd brew in my garage. The staff has a few friendly people but a few snobs as well. First time I was there one of them gave me attitude for not wanting to start a tab and instead just buying a single beer. I love that Broomfield is getting more breweries and this is the best space but with pricey beer of questionable quality I only go when someone else suggests it and will suggest other local breweries when asked.
(3)Adam K.
So have been wanting to check this new brewery out since it opened. Was pleasantly surprised at the location, which is far enough off 120th to not hear the traffic. Nice big patio, ping pong, and food truck for food. Only the bartender was working (slowly) on the Saturday afternoon when I visited. Oh, and the beer is better than most of the new local places.
(4)Dan G.
Has potential and the IPAs are decent. Unfortunately, they have the worst Sour I have ever tasted. No flavor, no sour, with a very dirty dish water taste. If ping pong wasn't $10/hour our group would have probably stayed much longer and they would have tripled their business from us. We were also met with a terrible attitude from the bartender. I don't know her name but she was short with red hair. She was the same to other patrons at the bar as well. With all of the other breweries to go to in Colorado and the Denver area, the service, beer, and amenities need to be upped a few notches if they want repeat customers for the long haul. I will possibly go back if I'm meeting friends but I will not go out of my way.
(2)Christopher T.
Pints are $5.50 and up! They do offer 8 brews and even a 20 ouncer. :) Huge patio and lots of indoor seating plus several ping pong tables for $10/hr. The IPA was not as good as others around and the same goes for the Saison. Friendly staff.
(3)Kristin R.
I was at their 'grand opening' on 5/30. The beer is decent (I did a 3 flight of the Amber, Dubbel and Peach Wit and then a couple of small Dubbels). The live music was okay 80-90s rock covers. The Basic Kneads food truck (reviewed separately) was not so great. All in all not bad until I went to close out my tab. It was completely wrong and almost twice as much as it should have been. They were quick to correct it but check your tab! They may get better as the staff become more used to the process and they find their flow. I'll give them another chance in a few months but they may not be ready for prime time yet.
(3)C S.
Stopped in here recently on a whim as I was driving by. Beer was good but bartender was having a bad day, I guess. She was cold and unfriendly and not what I would want representing my new brewery. They should lose the radio station they have playing, commercials and all. Ugh.
(2)Brooke C.
Stopped by wonderland yesterday to try the newest local brewery. I had seen the signs for a while and was confused by the logo - looks like a dentist office trying to be a playhouse. Doesn't really read "cool, hip brewery" to me. But we made our way inside and the inside decor focuses on colorado and snowboarding a lot, which is neat but again doesn't really fit their wonderland brand. The bar layout is a bit funky and you could tell the servers were still getting used to it since they weren't really scanning and servicing the whole bar, we had to go to the walk-up part each time we wanted something which was frustrating. But the service was very prompt and friendly! We got a full taster flight so we tried all seven of the beers they had - the amber, peach and blonde were our favs but we were pleasantly surprised by the black IPA. I am excited to go back and see what new beers they come up with! I think with some refinement and practice, this place will be a decent bfield hangout.
