This place is probably the best pho place I've been to in Denver (I guess technically Westminster?) thus far (n=3). The thing that really stands out though is they gave culantro (ngo gai) whereas the other places I've been to, have not. The cha gio were tasty and came to the table fresh out of the fryer and blazing hot. The only weird thing was that instead of lettuce, it came with raw beansprouts. Surprisingly, it worked...but I think I'd still prefer the lettuce. The only thing that kinda bummed me out was that there was no sate (roasted chili oil). Correction, there was none at the table and I did not ask. I've noticed that depending on where you are geographically, the Vietnamese restaurants will, as a standard of practice, either set it out on the table or will not. Denver happens to be one of those locales that does not. Next time I'll ask.

Five stars for the pho noodle bowl with brisket. I eat this every time I come here. I should branch out and try something different, but I'm suck on this dish. Best pho in the area, hands down. Fresh, served hot and consistently delicious

Pho-tastic! Love this place! This place has been a part of our routine for years when we lived in Colorado. Now visiting, it's refreshing to know they still put out a great pho and my favorite, combination cold noodle bowl! The iced coffee rocks and a Bobo mocha shake is great for your sweet tooth!
(5)Stacy D.
Loooove this place! It's my favorite Pho... pho-the-reals! Tonight the place was hoppin', but these servers got it goin' on. They're attentive to customer needs and rarely leave a glass unfilled. Will be back again, pho-sure!
(5)Dawn A.
Ok so the pho isn't as good as my other place but they have the sandwich in the appetizer section that is A-Mazing!! I believe it's called a bánh mì sandwich? I could be wrong so don't hold me to that, but trust me I've been craving that sandwich since I had it. And I don't even like sandwiches!!!!!
(4)John A.
The food is delicious. The portions are big, even with the smalls and mediums. On one takeout and one dine-in visits I have been both satisfied and happy with my food. Don't expect smiling faces from the staff. I'm not sure they want to be there, but you'll leave smiling and full.

I'm from the San Gabriel Valley in California, which is one of the Pho capitals of the west. So I didn't have high expectations for this place, but I was pleasantly surprised. I made the right choice coming here. The Pho was delicious!!! The broth, the meat, and the noodles were very tasty. I got the Brisket, size medium. I ate everything and they were pretty generous with the meat. I never finish all the broth but this time I came close. So I highly recommend this place for a good bowl of Pho. Especially on a cold night. PS they're closed on Tuesdays. Found that out the hard way. On a cold, cold, sad night that I was craving pho.

Why, oh why does every Pho (insert any number less than infinity) restaurant look like a cafeteria at an assistant living home? No decor, no ambience. The mess tent at the 4077th M.A.S.H.unit had more atmosphere, and the food was served with a ladle on tin plates. The portion sizes are big, including the colossal spring rolls. But,the problem is they don't cut them in half to share, and honestly, what's that thin layer of mystery meat inside? Add the fact they don't serve alcohol is a recipe for take out.
(3)Laura T.
This is my favorite place for pho. Great staff, great food, broth is always awesome, and of all the many many times I've been here or ordered take out, I've never had a problem with my food. The bobas are amazing too! I just absolutely love this place!!!
(5)Ony X.
It was my first time in here and my first time experience here really sucked. They waiters and waitresses did not know how to give out customer service, my rice plate was not good. It taste really bland. My husband thought the broth taste ok, but I won't be coming here again. The Thai tea did not taste like it should either. It taste like it came out of the can, not brewed. I think this will be the first and last that we visit this place. I heard great reviews about this place, and it really disappoint me.

Since moving to Colorado from Northern, VA my wife and I had been looking for a good Pho place. We ventured in to the bowels of Federal and went to a few sub-par Pho joints. Driving around one afternoon (as we do frequently) I saw Pho 78 from the road and said lets go for it! I am SOOO Glad we did. This is the first place that serves an oxtail broth that actually tastes to me like an actual Pho broth. So good. Will be Back! It's a Pho place, I don't think you need fish tanks or fancy carpets...The food speaks for itself
(5)Chris R.
Best pho that I've found in Arvada (or Westminster). Service is always quick and it's never crowded here, at least on weekdays. I've never been disappointed with pho here and the price is just right. Try this one!
(5)Dave C.
We only do take out from here, and the people on the phone are a little brisk, trying to get off the call as quickly as possible. Sometimes I wonder if they took the order correctly, But we've never had a problem with our order. Everything we've had there: pho, spring rolls, rice bowls, noodle bowls have all been excellent! This is the place to go, and their prices can't be beat.

Went with some work people yesterday and was super happy with my rice dish: 2B. CM ÃC BIT: Combination of Grilled Beef, Pork, Chicken, Shrimp, and Egg Rolls Served With Rice. Priced right, tons of food and LOTS of flavor. I'd definitely go back.

This is based only on the pork banh mi. What can I say a sandwich is my favorite type of food. The banh mi had the perfect amount of all flavors. The meat was seasoned perfectly. All flavor profiles were there. Sweet, salty, sour, crunchy. This place gets bonus points for opening up at 10 am. I can't wait to come back and try another banh mi, or even more of the menu.
(4)Zoey P.
Excellent every time I've come fast and delicious! Clean and friendly! I love it and have been coming for 6 years
(5)Vic M.
Had to get our Pho fix. Gotta love this place, its one of the best i've been too and been coming to this one for years. Got me Pho Rare Steak & Brisket along with the Egg Rolls and the GF ordered Pho Rare Steak and Spring Rolls. The broth always has great flavor and the egg rolls are my fav just wish there were more in an order.
(5)Samantha S.
Ok. Ok. I have never heard of or even tried Pho before. But, based on all the reviews all over and all the talk from people I have met, I thought PHO-Sure I would simply love it. Well, my experience is most likely because I had no idea what to expect or what to order or to eat. So bare with me :) We entered and the place was empty, it was early on a Friday, around 11:00 so we were beating the lunch rush. The first thing I noticed was a slight smell... kind of like the smell of stagnate mop water... we were so hungry we kind of ignored it, and after a minute it seemed gone. I say SEEMED, because as we were seated, a man walks in and yells " EW IT STINKS IN HERE" and walks out. So, I ordered spring rolls. You know , but I don't know, that all spring rolls are NOT made the same. So, I expected nice and crunchy spring rolls.... they brought out some bowls with some broth stuff in them. One had peanuts on top of it, the other two were like a clearer broth with shredded carrots floating in them. We didn't know what they were for.... at first I thought we should pick them up and drink them... but we didn't....because we didn't know what we were doing. LOL. Then out came this plate that had two, um, rolls on them. These were our spring rolls, they were not all crunchy like I knew in my life, they were like a white outer cover with shrimp and pork inside... it kind of tasted like if you rolled rice out into a wrap to put around the food. It was ok. We dipped it in that peanut sauce stuff and it was ok. I can't recall the name of what we ordered. I just know that I ordered something with Steak and Chicken in it, with a bunch of noodles on a bed of lettuce.... I ended up pouring the 'Carrot Sauce" onto my food, as it was sweet and I liked it! It was a lot of food, and I ended up picking out all the steak and chicken.... Once we were done we sat there. And we sat there. And sat there. Finally I asked if I should go to the front to get my check, and he said yes, and then brought me my check. I get the feeling that they don't pay a lot of attention to the questions you are asking them. The service was a dud, we told him it was our first time, and he said, "You want what?". LOL. Ohhhh. Its all good, we'll read the descriptions and wing it. My friends tell me we need to go with them when they go to the one by their house so that they make sure we order the good stuff and have a better experience. Maybe.. Just maybe... it gives me something to write home (yelp) about.
(3)Nik N.
Best Vietnamese and pho restaurant in town! Try the pho with egg noodles, it's a pleasant change.
(5)Dawn H.
I love this place!!! I used to live close by and moved downtown last year. I haven't found any place that compares close to my house, so I always stop by when I'm in the neighborhood. Excellent Pho and spring rolls!!!
(5)Mike L.
Best of the Pho's Stay away from the door in the winter and bring a coat. Love the 2C yet pick your favorite as not a bad one on the menu. Really good boba

I thought I was coming down with a surprise cold, just felt slugged energy-wise, and...well, I'll spare you the gory details. Talked to a few people about it, and Jenn P, pho worshipper, said "go get some pho!" I told her I was mulling it over. Well...I did mull it over, and decided it sounded like a good plan for lunch. [Thank you Jenn!] Checked out 3 places on Yelp that were within 10 miles of me (sadly, that rules out Pho 95) and this one seemed the highest rated, so jetted down to the NE corner of 88th and Wadsworth. Outside of Bed Bath and Beyond and Home Depot, this mall seems to be filled with "2 stores in business, 1 store out of business" throughout the entire sprawl, It takes guts to set up a Pho eatery in a LARGE mall area like this, even more to survive the frequent store shutdowns. I got in there 20 mins before the lunch hour rush. And it did fill up, very quickly -- obviously this place makes enough good food that people frequent it often. I was asked within 60 secs of being presented with my menu if I was ready to order, which I wasn't. This time I pushed my daring to the next level, and ordered the pho with every kind of meat in it -- rare steak, brisket, flank, tendon, aaaaaaaaand yes, *tripe*. I took the dive. :) The menu, which I managed to snap a very clear shot of the *front* of, has various appetizers, rice dishes and noodle bowls, much the same as you'd expect from any other pho eatery. You can read the items yourself! =) Yes, I am racking up huge good karma pts for people who want to see what's on the menu, and can't find any website for Pho 78 online. All pho bowls are served with bean sprouts, basil, cilantro, jalapenos, and limes. No lemongrass. Sigh. For $5+, you can get a "small", which any pho eater knows really means "medium/large" bowl, and for under $7, you can, like I did, get an Olympic-sized swimming pool bowl that you will be taking home half of. If you have the dexterity to do so -- more on that shortly. I also ordered the cha gio, which are fried pork egg rolls served with a side of bean sprouts, vermicelli, and traditional vietnamese sauce, whatever that is. The menu claims it also comes with peanuts, but they were absent from my prep. The rolls are about as big around as your thumb. maybe, and *I* think there ought to be 6 little rolls and not 4 little rolls for the price. But they were succulent and every bit as delicious as Pho 95's were. The service...the service. (drums fingers and frowns at you, from across the table) The service? It's quick. It's efficient. But is there any love in it? My intuition tells me: not really. This is not Pho 95 as far as service goes. People do not chat you up when they are serving, and there is *certainly* no one like the master showman Aaron from Pho 95, there to make you feel WELCOME and INVITED and CARED FOR. No. These people are just there to do a job. I don't know if it was because of the lunch rush coming in, or what, but both my water server and waiter said nary a thing to me. My soup came, and was every bit as delectable as I expected it to be. They *do not skimp* on noodles at this place in their pho, I'll give them that, and they were not too 'limp' nor 'al dente', they were glorious. I couldn't really tell the different cuts of meat when I ate them, but I figured the tripe would identify itself...and it did. Ya know, tripe's not so bad. It's just very chewy in texture, sort of rubbery-ish, like calamari. But not bad at all. The broth was very savory and satisfying, but was not really clear like at Pho 95...it was more murky than that. Why? I cannot say. The irritating part came at the end of the meal, when I asked if my leftovers could be put into a container. I was provided a large styrofoam cup and a top, and left to my own skill. *frown* Excuse me? I was fully expecting them to take the 10-15 seconds it would have taken to pour my remainders into the cup and handed to me, at the very least, if not plastic baggied. No such luck. I was 97-98% successful in getting the contents of my Titanic-sized bowl into the container, but some did splash onto the table. So be warned if you go there and expect they'll treat you like Aaron does at Pho 95, boxing up your meal, making sure everything is secure, and in general treating you like a special guest. Not going to happen here. I'd give it 3 1/2 stars rounded up to 4, except for something unusual that happened on my side that the manager was accomodating towards me with, and thus I will say it's a full 4 star experience. Don't get me wrong, it was good. It could be great. But it won't be until their staff gets more welcoming and friendly. Set that aside, and everything else was wonderful. Oh yes...they do have about 16 different types of beverages on the back (including 'sour lemonade', I believe), and about 14 different types of various boba drinks and flavors. Pics, including the front shot of the menu, are included...

I have eaten at a ton of pho restaurants in San Francisco Denver and Chicago and this place is the best!
(5)Jamie L.
I am, admittedly, not a Mistress of the Pho yet. I still don't quite "Get" the allure. I mean, I *want* to like it, but I don't think I know how, or maybe I haven't had the right bowl yet. Pho 78 is the only bowl I've had. I've been 3 times, and each time, I go in wanting to love it. I love most Asian soups. Even basic Miso makes me smile and all warm and bubbly. I love lemongrass soup. Good Ramen. Thai soups. Love them all. So why don't I love Pho? Pho 78's broth left a mostly "funky" flavor in my mouth... not the good kind of "funky".. where I can taste all sorts of intricate flavors. The kind of "funky" where I'm left trying to figure out exactly what I'm tasting. The noodles have ranged from chewey and good to soggy and smushy. The veggies always look fresh and are surely plentiful. But I guess it's just not my thing...
(3)Sara C.
This pho place is decent if you want Vietnamese food and this is close to you. But I'd rather go other places for better food. To each their own... this is not my favorite place for pho. I think their pho broth is a little on the greasy side, but decent flavor nonetheless. I came here a couple of times over the last 5 years but the experience has always been just 'meh'. I tried the noodle bowl this time and it was decent as well. But I can get the same dish at another place for $1-$2 cheaper for the combination plate. It is pretty big portion though... but still not worth the extra since I couldn't finish everything and ended up throwing away 1/3 of the noodles. I was surprised when I called in for the noodle bowl to-go, they charged me extra for to-go orders. I understand if they use 'bio-degradable' to-go containers to where they are rolling that cost to the consumers... but they just used the regular styrofoam container like you get anywhere else. I have never had to pay extra for to-go orders at any other Vietnamese restaurants, and this place was already pretty pricy for the same stuff comparatively to other places I have been. I'm sure they're not the only one who does that but not cool Pho 78, not cool. I never understand the idea of paying extra for containers unless they are made with earth friendly materials. I know those can cost more but I'd be willing to pay for a cause. Anyway, if you don't have time to go elsewhere or you need something quick to eat, this place is alright for that. But I won't come back again since I know other places are just so much better.
(2)Chris B.
I absolutely love this place! There is nothing here that is not up notch! Our standing order is 2C (combo vermicelli bowl) So delish!
(5)Teresa L.
I finally dragged the husband in for pho! After weeks of pleading and puppy dog eyes, he gave in! He refused to trek down Federal to Pho 95, and Pho 78 is much closer to us, so he conceded and I celebrated my victory. We went around 3 pm, and the place was surprisingly busy (6 or 7 tables full). We got some spring rolls to share, I ordered a Thai tea, and we waited. The spring rolls came out a few minutes later- they were okay but not great. The rice paper wrapper was a bit gummy and too chewy. Peanut sauce was served warm- a first for me, and I would've liked it a little sweeter, but that's just my preference for peanut sauce. For pho, I ordered the rare steak and flank, and he ordered the chicken. I definitely don't consider myself an expert, but their broth was more bland than what I've had elsewhere. It was not as rich or flavorful as I've had. Adding the obligatory fish sauce and Sriracha helped. I'm fairly sure that they gave me brisket instead of one of the two meats I ordered, but I couldn't tell you which one. They skimped a bit on the meat, also. My husband's bowl was full of chicken, though. Overall, it was okay. If I were in the neighborhood and a craving struck, I'd go back again. But if I want truly delicious pho, I'll head down Federal! :-)
(3)Christina R.
I love the bobas here, and always grab then when we are in the area. Today was the first time my husband and I tried the food for the first time. Unfortunately it was very disappointing. My husband ordered the combo noodle bowl with no pork, but they gave him pork and no chicken. I ordered the beef noodles, and every piece if beef was full of gross fat and hard tendons. Very disappointing:(

Rarely out in this area of Denver, live way southwest in Morrison. Was attending an indoor soccer tournament, my mentee. Prior to game, hungry, with time to spend, tapped into Yelp and found Pho78! Very good, busy, good service, terrific tofu option. My wife's carnivore choice was also notable. Cannot get enough basil, sprouts, lime, and chilies! Recommend this out of the way restaurant. Oh, why 78? The owner stated it was the year they emmigrated to the US.
(4)Laura Lee M.
It's my pho of choice. The broth is great, the service is awesome, the spring rolls make me giggly. And they have avocado boba tea. I love the different pho places in Denver but this one takes the cake. My family eats here at least once a week.
(5)Dorinda S.
I love this place! I used to work nearby and would go once a week. Now I make the 30 minute drive every couple of weeks because I miss it if I don't have it. I live in Boulder and have tried all of the pho places in Boulder, and a lot of other places, but none even come close to this one. I have honestly never had better pho. What makes it stand out is that the broth is deliciously seasoned and isn't greasy, like other broths I have had. It's very flavorful. Yum!
(5)Erin T.
Came here because I saw great reviews for it with friends. The Pho tastes a lot better than Pho Duy and my friends that got the bun (vermicelli) seemed to really enjoy their food. I also got a mango boba, which was really good. The boba seemed a little undercooked though. Like most Asian restaurants, you can expect very little greetings and talking with the servers. The decorations were very little but the restaurant very open and clean.
(4)Heidi S.
We are never in this part of town but I wanted to get my pho on and the ball-n-chain did not want to hear me whine all the way back downtown so we yelped a pho place and this came up. I had the #8, pho tai, gan (tendon) and the ball-n-chain had #2 pho bo vien (meatballs). The veggie plate was abundant, the soup was good but for some reason, the broth just didn't seem "done". The noodles, were so not al dente- they had to soak in the broth to finish cooking. Bummer. The broth was served piping hot so they had the opportunity. We also never received a refill on our water. Dude. It is water, it is free. Since this is halfway to Cheyenne, we would only go back if we were up there again and I was about to have a pho glitch but wouldn't make it a destination spot, imho.
(3)Jezebel L.
A small Pho costs$6.90. It was shy on meat and the soup tasted like plain old beef broth. There was like dry, moldy chili on the spoon in the crushed chili paste. A pot of tea cost $1.50 which is not too much of a problem for me, but it is one of many 'off' things about this place, so it was annoying. We ordered spring rolls which never came, but stayed on the ticket. When we asked them to take it off, they were hesitant and odd about it, and even scoped our table to make sure we were not lying. With all the great Pho Denver has to offer-and more popping up all the time- I will not be back.
(2)Kat A.
Pho within walking distance of my house. That alone earns big points. The meatball pho is amazingly tasty. And, like most pho places, the servings are enormous - a small bowl runs less than $5. The flavors are potent without being overpowering, if that makes sense. Additionally, I had to try the spring rolls; they were both gigantic and delicious. The peanut sauce served on the side was incredible, too. My friend got the small chicken rice pho (her first attempt at Vietnamese noodle soup!) and really enjoyed it as well. As an aside, she's recently been having stomach issues, and she said this was the first thing she'd eaten in days that hadn't left her regretting consumption. Oh, and did I mention the boba? I don't think I've ever seen so many tapioca pearls in a drink before. The honeydew and the lychee are both to die for, not to mention practically a meal in themselves. The staff is friendly and efficient and I'm already anticipating my next visit - brisket pho, here I come.
(4)Kate G.
Stopped in for a bowl of tofu pho last night after having a sneezing fit on my airplane home yesterday and fearing I may be catching a cold. My medium bowl ($7.75) was pretty good and I had leftovers for lunch today which was nice. The broth wasn't as flavorful today and I don't normally have that problem with pho leftovers, which I inevitably take home. My tofu was okay but in pretty big chunks and not as easy to cut into and break up with my spoon as some. Not as tender and not as flavorful as others I've had. We also ordered spring rolls which came out immediately, and pretty gummy and glued together. They were not as chilled as I'd prefer. Not warm, but warm enough to notice. And I guess warm enough to stick together. The peanut sauce was delicious though! I'd come back if I was in the area, and service was great, but I have other favorites closer to my house. I did like the culantro and all of the other veggies were fresh and plentiful.
(3)Terry B.
My wife and I tried this restaurant recently. This is my first foray in Vietnamese food. We were pleasantly surprised. We both ordered the rice noodle soup with brisket and steak. We are watching our diet and this meal was the ticket! We enjoyed the broth and vegetable's and plan to go back again. Really different from what we are used to in a meal. But overall it was good!!!
(4)Aminah M.
My first journey into the world of Vietnamese food. I was very impressed with the food here. It was tasty, fresh and reasonably priced. I asked my server for his reccomendatins, he recommended the Bún Dà c Biêt (#2c mixed noodle bowl) and the Phò Tái ChÃn(#6 small steak Pho). Both were very flavorful and filling. I didn't eat all of my noodle bowl because it was huge! But the leftovers were great.
(5)B K.
Greasy but fresh. Meaty but light. A crunch in my soup. Flavorful but soothing. It's the contradictions that make pho so addictive. Unfortunately, when there is less contrast the experience is just less. They are right by the Home Depot where I spend many a Saturday so I've tried them 3+ times. Now I know. I skip them. Pho 66 (66th and Wads) is so much better.
(2)C. D.
BEST BUBBLE TEA (BOBA) in Colorado. I like geting two of them, one there and one for the road. Strawberry and Mocha Boba are the two I get the most. But Pina Colada is also good. No matter what flavor you get they will all going to exceed your expectations. The main difference is that other similar Pho restaurants freeze their tapioca bubbles, but Pho 78 keeps them warm enough until they blend the drink with ice, so the tapioca balls stay soft and come up the straw easily..YUM. Their chicken spring rolls are also sensational. The flavoring of the chicken is rather addciting. Environment is casual with some booths and some tabels. Service is fast and friendly. I am in love!
(5)Mai Linh N.
My last post wasn't good enough. I just wanna say that this place never ever disappoints me. I've been here probably 100+ or more. Talk about.. Pho-natic. I always get a medium bowl dac biet (combination). They hook it up with noodles and meat... and always give us fresh veggies. Sooo good. I always finish the entire bowl. =) Sometimes when I don't feel like Pho, I get the pork noodle bowl and the spring rolls. The peanut sauce here is freaking awesome. Yummy in my tummy! For dessert, I like the green tapioca with sweet coconut milk. *DROOL* Also, the girl who works there is very cute ;)
(5)Rick K.
To me it was just good. I've been to too many pho restaurants now, and this place didn't impress me. To me it is equivalent to Pho 555 in flavor. I don't know... sorry about my unenthusiastic review... maybe i'll update later.

Feeling under the weather? Having a bad day? Teeth chattering from chilly weather or your climate un-controlled office? This Pho is the cure for whatever ails you. I'm no expert on Pho. I don't know how the broth rates for authenticity, or if I'm even eating it properly. What I do know is that when I lean my face over that plentiful bowl of steaming soup, my worries melt away. After personalizing my bowl (I like the #1 with chicken) with the ample amounts of fresh herbs, lemon, bean sprouts, and sauces, I alternate between slurping up the delectable broth and dragging long rice noodles. My sinuses clear, my spirits lift, and I feel cozy and warm. The service is attentive and effecient, but minimal: they seat you, take your order and bring your food almost wordlessly. I can't decided if they're un-friendly or just have some sort ot peacful respect for their pho and the patrons that come to slurp it theraputically. Either way, I love this place.
(4)Kelly M.
Meh is right. I just don't get it. I mean man come on there are better places in town. The Pho was your typical Pho nothing that makes me want to go back. The peanut sauce for the spring rolls was not good. The Vietnamese coffee was good but so is the coffee at other Pho hot spots. So there you have it. Go if you are in the area and don't feel like driving anywhere else or go a little further and find something better. For me it was just Meh.
(2)Regis Y.
Just had lunch there two days ago. I've been there several times with family and friends. I don't expect much from their service or food, but this last time was the straw that broke the camel's back. We ordered the noodle combination and pho combo. Both were saltier than normal, so we asked if we could get a less salty broth. The waiter took it away and brought back the same one. We didn't make a big fuss but when we went to go pay our bill, he had the audacity to add the tip in. I asked if it was the tax and he responded, "no, it's the tip" continuing that it was the law, 15%. Prior to this I was going to leave a tip, of 20%, which I always do. But just on principle, I said, no, it's not the law and I don't want to leave a tip. He continued to plead his case that it was the law and tip is included. I noticed the other receipts and asked where the tips were on their receipts. At which point, his manager, apologized and gave me the overcharged amount. Normally, at a restaurant, they would comp the item you have a complaint about, but here not only do they charge me for it, they calculate the tip in. Long story short. If you like salty MSG filled food, this is the place for you. Pho 79 off of 74th and Federal will be getting my business from now on.

This place blew any Boulder pho place out of the water. Not that that says too much, but still it was really tasty. This is my favorite pho that I've found in CO so far. Very authentic and the flavors were just right. This has renewed my sense of hope that there is good asian food hidden throughout Colorado. I will begin my quest again, with tasty pho in my belly.

Great pho and service, large portions of meat and noodles. I never leave dissatisfied .

Finally made it to some North side pho!!! I rolled in with only 30 minutes to close. I chose a small chicken pho. It was big and stuffed with your typical pho ingredients! I never felt rushed by the staff. They kept my water glass filled since I added a tad too much siracha. Ooops. I wanna go back again and try the spring rolls they looked awesome.

My favorite Pho in Colorado. I haven't been to 95 yet though. This is the north areas best and most consistent pho joint. When I crave pho this is what I want. I've been eating here since the old Pho 79 on the east side of 78th and Federal closed down. The herb plate is always fresh and overflowing. My wife always gets enough limes. The broth is here is nearly perfect. They also have the best salty lemonade sodas. The service is average for pho. But my water glass is always being topped-off. If you want pho and your anywhere north of I-70 try this place out.

I used to think Pho sucked because of the slirping mess, but this place makes it so good that I ordered several times to learn how to eat it with less mess. I like the rare steak and brisket style. They also have a version of the Special Bowl, which has everything but the kitchen sink in it for 6 bucks.

Rare steak and meatball Pho are my favorite. I'm a big guy and The large is enough for two meals. I've gone to a couple other Pho places north and east from 78, but neither had the meat quality and overall appeal of Pho 78. We've been getting take out twice a week for the last two months. I'm really glad I gave them a shot. Always polite service also.

By the way, Yelp, they DON'T deliver. Thanks for having the wrong info.

I like pho a lot and I've been to several in my area. I like this one the best. They don't use a crazy amount of MSG to where your soup is so salty you're craving water like it's going out of style. Also, the flavor of the broth is perfect. The ingredients you add to it are what makes it awesome. Plenty of sprouts, culantro, thai basil, limes and jalapenos. Service is freakishly fast! And friendly. Occasionally they run out of something and don't have it in the soup...like the culantro...makes me sad, but I'm ok with it. I noticed when the POM is out of it then so are they..not their fault. It's mostly on point. They have good bobas too if you like those and their other foods are pretty yum as well....but all I want when I go there is a Pho Tai...over and over and over again.

The ambiance is basic, the service is good, there is a TV and a fish tank. That said, the Pho is excellent. The broth has lots of flavor and the brisket tastes great. The smoothies are very good and the egg rolls are good as well. The wait staff is on and off. I have had service from an upset waiter and I have had waitresses be very nice. It depends on the day you go. The Pho is worth the gamble.

Good food, good service. They have one of the best broths in the area (IMHO).

It's been a real long time since last we ate here but we were at Home Depot for some stuff and thought we'd grab a quick bite. I had a medium #12 which is the deluxe comb with all the stuff some people fear in it. Not an abundance of noodles but enough and they were cooked alright. The meat wasn't sliced as thin as most other pho joints but it wasn't tough so that still worked. The condiment plate was fresh and had enough of all the essentials. So why the three? Pho is all about the broth for me and this one was just a little too over seasoned. I mean you could tell there was beef flavor in there somewhere but the abundance of anise, cinnamon, clove, hmm maybe cardamon? dunno but whatever the spices were... they were just too overpowering. No amount of lime or bean sprouts could dampen the intensity. Worth another try since they aren't too far from home and the people here are nice but probably not a destination, more a last resort.

I've been hitting up Pho Duy since I moved out here and have been a fan. I think this place consistently has a cleaner, better tasting broth than Duy. There is beauty in its simplicity.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the whole bowl, but something also seemed just slightly amiss. I enjoyed my bowl, but...I think that there were a few things that all led up to the feeling of the experience just not being complete. The service was fine - very attentive and timely - order was taken promptly and water arrived just as I was about being seated. The bowl was quick to the table, which is always bonus, because when I show up for noo-noos, I wanted it half an hour ago. The soup was very light on anise and had a really great cooked bone and onion flavor but it was not hot enough, but I like lava hot. The extras plate was fine - all fresh, crisp and plenty of it. Not bad, it's all coming together...Then the tendon bit back a bit. It was oh-so-close to being just right, but it wasn't, and for you tendon eaters, you know that it can be just ever so off putting. The noodles, though, were perfect and slippery, slurpery good! When I get an unbearable hankering when I'm in the immediate vicinity, I'd go back.

I used to be a regular mo-pho at Pho Duy on 120th but ever since pho-ing at Pho 78 the extra drive is totally worth it! The service is amazing and the dessert drinks are the perfect way to end an addicting meal. Being a long time pho enthusiast it is truly hard to find a place with a consistent broth. The appetizers are a must, especially the spring rolls, and the rice plates will have you coming back for more. I always know what to expect with Pho 78 and that is nothing but satisfaction.

This is my favorite pho place!!! Make sure to try the Beef Spring Rolls for an appetizer! I crave this place!!!..We often have to restrict ourselves to only eating here once a week - we come here so much we no longer get menus they already know what we want! Great staff and quick service - mmmmm......pho.........drool!

Yum-tastic. That is how I would have to describe this little hidden treasure. I love the broth, the extras (lines, bean sprouts, basil, cilantro, and jalepenos) were really fresh and the ingredients were awesome and delicious. I reccomend the flank and brisket (num. 10). Inside was clean and the staff was friendly too. My sweetheart and I just found our new favorite phô place but still seek the holy grail of phô enlightenment. ;)

Well made Pho, The wife hates Pho, actually refers to it as "Pond Water" so I like to drag her in as much as possible :) That said I enjoyed my soup The staff was very nice and easy to understand. The rare steak Pho was just right, they also will deliver up to two miles which isn't very far but good to know.

Being from NorCal(bay area), you can find great Pho restaurants everywhere. I've been to quite a few Pho places here and Pho 78 is my favorite. They also deliver!!!

The pho here is great! So is menu item 2b. I really like the pho, and they give you a lot of stuff to put in it. I crave this stuff some times. I've tried it at the place in broomfield and it is just not as good there. The only downside is that when I get delivery, they cannot understand my street name. I have to try it like 20 times. and spell it 20 times. The guy hung up too fast for me to add the apartment number in there so when he couldn't find the place he called and he yelled at me! But I don't care, I still order delivery and go there to eat because its delicious. For those of you who don't like the miscelaneous meats in the soup, neither do I so I ask for it with no meat. Try that next time if you get grossed out about pho.
