Go Fish Menu

I am a big fan of Go Fish in Denver, so I was very excited to see that they opened a new location in Broomfield. This first thing you notice about the restaurant is that it has a nice colorful, calming ambiance. The lighting is peaceful, the music is current, and has a sense of a causal dining you would see in Denver. The artwork in the restaurant is tasteful and is a good conversation starter. We ordered two speciality rolls, the first was Pay Roll, it had a good texture combination between spicy tuna and tempura sweet potato. The other one was a Pink Lady Roll, and the server recommended it as the roll many costumers enjoy. The naming of the Pink Lady roll basically describes what's in it, spicy tuna, salmon and kani. They just recently opened and business on the weekend is good. I definitely will come back here to try some of the other speciality rolls.

Just another below average sushi bar with hyped ratings from yelp. This place is comparable to any of the other just below average sushi bars in Denver: Sonodas, North, etc... The chili role was topped with slivers of fake crab. Crab with a K, ugggghh the worst thing in a sushi bar, and they drape it over the roll as if to display it proudly. The rainbow roll was packed loose and fell apart as soon as you touched it and had to be eaten off the plate with a fork LOL. The nigiri sushi were small portions and seemingly not quite as fresh as they should be. Some of the fish I would say was almost rubbery. The sashimi deluxe dinner I had was not super fresh and the undersized slivers of fish made me laugh. Every time we go to eat sushi in Denver somewhere besides Sushi Tazu or Sasa, we always regret it, yet we just keep kicking ourselves in the head. --stupid for even trying. On a sidenote: my stomach is really screwed up today. Not sure if it's the sushi, but typically I have an iron gut and I don't get a messed up stomach unless I eat something really bad. I wouldn't call it food poisoning, but definitely not right. Pros: Decor Huge TV above the sushi bar so you can watch the game. Cons: Not fresh fish Fish was lukewarm, not cold at all So-so service (forgot my beer, left dirty plates for the whole meal) Tiny portions of nigiri and sashimi Sushi chefs are very unsociable. Never looked at us one time and never said a word to us. All the conversation was done through the waitstaff (typical of a non-Japanese sushi bar) Dirty bathrooms (Dirty floors. Paper towel dispenser hanging open and out of paper towels. Trashcan overflowing and trash all over the floor. Dirty toilet. --Typical sushi hell in Cowtown Denver yet once again. We definitely will not be back. It is worth the drive to Cherry Creek or to Central Denver to eat top-quality sushi and avoid all the headaches associated with trying something that is definitely subpar.

This place is so nice and the owner, lee, always takes extra care to please. This is a great spot!

Very good sushi meal. Good service and friendly staff. This is the kind of nice place one might expect to get good sushi. Spicy crunchy tuna roll and jalapeño yellowtail rolls were great. As was the miso soup that came with the lunch meal.

I've been a huge fan of Go Fish's original location on Broadway in Denver, and we North Denverites have been chomping at the bit for their northern location to open. We couldn't make it on opening day, but made it the next day, and this location is just as delightful as the original. Not only are there a few extra special new rolls unique to this location, but they have their full menu as well, including a variety of vegetarian rolls (such as green chili tempura, eggplant, and tempura broccoli). Plus, if you're awesome, you can order the Shanna Roll (cucumber, oshinko and cream cheese inside, mango and avocado outside). Lee has moved from managing the Denver location to this one, so you know the service is going to be on point. They have a great happy hour, and if you order enough sushi, they'll frequently give you a nice surprise along with your bill. So excited to have a new location with fresh fish (my partner says no where in Denver is better, except for place that charge $15+ a roll), and fabulous vegetarian options that take you beyond just avocado rolls. Add music for the 70s and 80s, fun atmosphere, and plenty of parking, and this is just what the northern suburbs need.

Great happy hour prices. Wife and I came here for happy hour and she had a glass of wine, I had 2 sapporo beers and we shared 3 rolls and salad. We received a free fried cheesecake for checking into yelp. Service was wonderful and she even brought us a free pineapple sake when we were done and finishing our drinks. Glad they built one up north for us. Will be dining here for happy hour again.

Finally stopped in to check this place out with my family on a Friday night. I was glad to see the place wasn't packed. The place is nicely decorated and a few of the staff seemed a bit inexperienced, but overall it wasn't a bad visit. They have a pretty decent sushi and entree selection and a full bar. There a plenty of rolls to choose from and to be honest, I felt a bit overwhelmed. After the first five, everything looks the same. When trying a new sushi place, I always order my usual favs; dynamite, Kama, tatare, yellowtail jalapeño sashimi , seaweed salad then for my fam, chicken teriyaki for my youngest and a Spider-Man roll for my oldest. The portions are pretty darn big so for the price, I would say it was well worth it. The quality of the fish was just mediocre, not great. Everything came out pretty fast and we even got a free cheesecake tempura from unlocking a check in from yelp. I only gave this place three stars because even tho the portions were huge, I personally think they can spend more money on better quality fish with smaller portions. If you're craving sushi and don't want to wait to be seated and for a decent price, this place may be worth it to check out. For me, eh I'd have to be really craving sushi with no where else to go.

Eh, just OK. We stopped here during happy hour. The food was decent and $5 for a large hot Sake was not too bad. The ambience is a little too new age for my taste and the music was a little loud for 3 o'clock in the afternoon, but it is a clean, well maintained restaurant.

Delicious and perfect! We got miso, tempura veggies, noodles, and a couple rolls. The Las Vegas roll is perfection. The staff were excellent.

Great food. Just opened today. I have been down to there first location on Broadway. There food was just as good as down towns location. I have eaten at every sushi place I can find in Broomfield and this is now the best in the city! Very excited to have a place so close to home.

They make great sushi, have great service and have yet to leave us hungry or wishing we had a better sushi restaurant around. They are the better sushi restaurant. The prices are good and they have a great selection of saki too.

I'm not one to write reviews on restaurants, but this place blew me away. The wife and I stopped in because we had a 20% off coupon. The experience was amazing, great atmosphere, small but perfect. Sushi was some of the best we've had, but none of that compared to the service. By far the most friendly staff we've experienced in years. This place is a must try, trust me.

Outstanding!!! Just like their original location their sushi is consistently unreal and next to none!!! Amazing service every time and superb cocktails to compliment every bite!!! Ask for Lee!! You are in for a real treat!! Go Fish has got it right!!

  • Emily D.

Go fish is so good. I am pregnant and they totally cooked up a delicious roll for me. Lee recommended the walnut shrimp and its not to be missed! So good. Best sushi place in Broomfield with great atmosphere and design. This is the kind of local business that one should support because the product is very good and so are the people.

If you like trendy Americanized Japanese food then this place is a good venue. Service and ambiance were both good. My portion was smaller than I would have liked but my companions were happy with their meals.

Great food- no one was there when my daughters and I stopped in fast service. Bit pricy but fresh and yummy!

I was at Go Fish tonight for dinner. The service (Andrew) was amazing. He answered our many questions and the ones he did not know, the owner shared a lot of helpful information. I have odd dietary needs, due to health issues, and after reading a negative review, I was a bit worried. I was pleasantly surprised that the server and owner were VERY accommodating and respectful and willing to answer all of my questions. They even made recommendations to meet my needs and also offered to make something off the menu. This is a rarity! The presentation of the sushi is some of the best I've seen. The sushi chefs clearly take a lot of pride in their work. We started with appetizers: gyoza and tempura fried shrimp and vegetables. Both were great. The sushi rolls, we had many from the basic to the creative, were also very good. As if this place couldn't get any better... we were there during Happy Hour (6PM) where rolls and appetizers were less. What a HAPPY surprise! This is a GREAT sushi option for those looking in the Broomfield area. I recommend giving this place a chance.

We've been to both the restaurant on Broadway and this location. Both are great and love the tempera cheese cake. The Las Vegas roll is so good that you aren't going to want to tell anyone. The staff is very friendly and the decor is great.

Great new place for Sushi. Excellent service and reasonably priced. Great saki selection and wide variety of rolls and sashimi. Miso soup was excellent and the fried cheese cake is a must have. Really nice to have a great sushi place within 5 min drive of my house.

  • Robert D.

I have been here quite a few times since they first opened. Good sushi and good sashimi. Presentation is great. Service is excellent! Not a fan of the salad they serve, watery at the bottom of the bowl. Everything else was great. My only suggestion would be to add a beer tap and a few different varieties of beer.

  • Erik G.

Wow! This could be dangerous being so close to me. Until this place opened, there is only one other sushi restaurant that I would go to on this side of town. I think they now have some serious competition! All the fish was fresh and so tender and the Amazing roll was...amazing!

    (5)
  • Rhianna F.

Sooooo good! I've been on a sushi craze lately, trying places all around town. This is definitely my favorite right now! The staff was really friendly and attentive. The food was put together in a really cool, artistic manner. My boyfriend and I went for the first time a few months back and the service was pretty good, and the food was fantastic. Then, we went for a second time and it was amazing! The sushi is to die for. The servers are attentive. The cooks are so great! They make amazing food AND spend time making it look so creatively beautiful. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

  • Romell T.

This place is great for happy hour since it includes a full menu of food prices to make you order more than you can eat. It's from 2pm 6pm and has a fantastic selection of rolls. The Las Vegas Roll is rich but delicious, make sure to try it. I wish they had one in my area. I will be back for more before the vacation ends. Oh yes, and don't forget dessert.

  • Emily B.

First impression was good and I liked the interior design a lot. Pleasantly surprised with how good the sushi was. Had a lot of interesting rolls and a lot of variety on the menu to choose from. A lot of the rolls used imitation crab which I would try and avoid since I'm not a fan of it. Stick with the fish-based rolls and you'll be happy! Miso ramen was pretty decent as well and the egg in it was delicious. The miso soup is a big portion for $2 and is great to start off with.

I was pretty excited to try out this place since they deliver to my area but come to find out they charged $5 for DELIVERY FEE, that is just outrageous, I would of been ok w/$1-2 but feel that it should have been FREE!! I ordered some noodle dishes and sushi, I have my shares of bad dishes and this was one of them, it was flavorless and very dry, for the price they charge, it needed to be better. The sushi were decent...overall, it was a very disappointing experience after such a high hope, I definitely learned my lesson next when I order for delivery I have to ask if there is a fee. Needless to say, I won't be ordering from this place ever again, I felt that I received 2 stars while I paid for 4 stars.

I now work right next door to this place and I have already mad it a weekly regular lunch spot. It is hard to beat the lunch roll special pricing with lots of great options to choose from. The green chili roll is so good, I'm in love with the salmon mango and the jack you roll. I can't wait to try more. Everything is so fresh and delicious. Plus they have an awesome seaweed salad and miso soup.

Wow, what a nice place. So glad it moved into our neighborhood. It's small but really nicely done. We were really happy with our lunch boxes. Amazing price for teriyaki salmon, fresh dumplings, miso soup, salad, rice and Cali roll. My new favorite lunch spot. My sister had the Udon and chicken bowl. Very nice size portions. We all got to go boxes. Highly recommend!

This is by far the best sushi in colorado. My friends from california, said this was just as good as any good sushi restaurant on the coast. Chili & Mango roll a must have!! And amazing staff!

Most of my favorite sushi places are in Denver. Haven't had much luck finding a place that's close to my home until now. Excellent sushi....Excellent service....Excellent experience. Will definitely be back to Go Fish.

  • Lauren G.

Fantastic, FRESH sushi and sashimi! Happy hour is unbeatable.. 5 different wine choices (with very generous pours I might add) as well as beer and well cocktails and a discounted sushi menu. Everything we ordered was delicious as well as light on the rice, which I really appreciate. Favorites were the tuna tartare, chili roll, low carb go fish roll, and low carb lobster roll. Service was fantastic.. Great new addition to Broomfield. We will definitely be back!

Incredibly unorganized. They weren't taking names on a Friday night... Just resorting to asking "who's been here the longest." The sushi was very mediocre, and not up to par. I was underwhelmed. Also, and I know your average sushi place uses this too, but their crab is the crappy imitation crab. It's everywhere, but it still irks me. The menus aren't consistent between both locations, either. I have never been to Go Fish before (either location), so I used the online menu to guide me beforehand. You'd think since the two restaurants share a website, the website would more accurately portray what was offered at the new location. It didn't even specify that the online order system is ONLY for the Denver location. I may give this place another try next year to give them a chance to get the kinks out of their operation.

Excellent food and service. I love sushi, but sometimes avoid it because many places simply hire anyone to prepare it. Sushi is an art and this place gets that. The unique rolls are awesome! Try the papaya roll. It looks weird and tastes so good!!! I don't even like papaya very much! I will definitely be back!

This was my first time and I was pleased. Fresh ingredients, very flavorful, the lunch special is great. And I really like their cold sake selection. Staff is very friendly too.

We finally found a sushi place that we will crave! Very good rolls and sashimi. Everything we ate was amazing! The environment was pleasant, service was excellent! Definitely going here for sushi from now on.

This place was a very unexpected and pleasant surprise for Broomfield! Service amazing. Food amazing. We had sashimi, rolls and our family had yaki Udon and Japanese fried rice. Everything was delicious. Refills on drinks came without asking. They even surprised us with a piece (large piece) of tempura cheesecake. I will be back again! The only negative was the price. Pretty steep. Maybe they can cut costs as they get more business.

So so good. Love this place. They always have great service, great fresh sushi. Hamachi was so good. Very kid friendly, good prices. Owner knows his sh*t. We go all the time. It's our sushi place now. Used to go to Hana Matsuri but this place is better quality and price.

There are a lot of Asian restaurants in the culinary wasteland that is Broomfield, but this is, by far, one of the best places to eat in Broomfield. Their sushi has real flair and includes ingredients like green chili (Amazing!), mango and even bacon, which was invented the night I was here. Great service (unlike the crab asses at some of the Asian restaurants around here) and a cozy, relaxed atmosphere round things out. I really want this place to succeed, so check it out soon! P.S. The pineapple saki is unmissable!

I'm a big fan of the original restaurant on Broadway and was out in broomfield so I decided to go there. Awsome service and food like always! The presentation of the sushi is amazing, and if you dont like sushi i would recommend trying the teriyaki chicken. I would recommend this to anyone in the neiborhood or just in the area. Keep up the great work Go fish!

We have been to their Broomfield location several times and have always had a good experience. They have a really nice bar menu and their sushi menu has a lot of unique offerings, which I love!

Great service, amazing food. I do not always do yelp and this place deserves it! We got several rolls, miso soup, and chicken teriyaki and all were amazing. Happy hour is also great!

Thank goodness there's finally another Go fish in town! I love that it's also now in my neck of the woods. I've always been a fan of the one downtown, with good reason- they serve Super fresh fish, and great cooked entree options. For my first visit I had a lovely udon soup , it was cold out and I needed a big bowl of comfort to soothe my winter weary soul... it was gigantic and it was delicious- hit the spot! Super fresh udon, lovely broth and the tempura was perfection. Totally shareable ! I also enjoyed a few sushi pieces and had some apps. Everything was fresh and delicious and beautifully presented. They take the time to make their sushi look like art on a canvas. I loved my visit! We were greeted and seated immediately. Service was excellent - sake options were good and the layout is lovely and clean. We even checked in and discovered a free dessert- tempura cheesecake! Definitely snag this deal- It was ridiculously good. A must visit if you're in the mood for good sushi in the wilds of Broomfield... This is the spot!

The sushi was mediocre. Not the best place up north to eat sushi. Soy sauce was low quality, sushi rice was just eh. Fish was tasteless. Don't waste your time coming here.

Great food. I travel around and I am often disappointed by the sushi places I have eaten at. Okuras in La Quinta was my fav, with places in Jackson Hole, and Astoria Ore coming in next. Go Fish is tied for my fav spot. My wife is a vegetarian, loved the green chilli role.

I would order everything we had again. The Hot Orgasm roll was to die for. I would recommend trying the green Chile roll because that was amazing and so different. I found our new sushi place!!! Amazing!

We were thrilled to discover a new sushi place near home. Tried it out last week and were VERY impressed. Service was good but the food was GREAT! We had so many delicious as well as interesting and unique dishes that we will definitely go back and encourage everyone to try it.

This place was great!! Right near our house, fresh tasty sushi, great atmosphere and beautiful presentation. The prices are affordable and the food is delicious. The menu had many items to accommodate vegetarian, gluten free and cooked dishes for my non sushi eating husband. We will definitely be back!!

Great sushi and sashimi selection with some very interesting ingredients. VERY ample portions. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Caring and nice manager. It's great that they have cooking shows on their TVs instead of the constant head-pounding sports venue at most other places. Sushi in Denver doesn't get any better.

  • E E.

Living up north, it is hard to find a good sushi place. I have never been to the Denver location, but would be willing to check it out based on my experience here. I ordered some of their speciality rolls and the great standbys. Someone had mentioned the crab was imitation but perhaps they had ordered a roll that had listed the imitation crab. I ordered two rolls with Kani (the crab) and they were delicious. The service was impeccable, knowledgeable and very nice. For those that did not have the same experience as I did, I am sorry to hear that. This will definitely be in my sushi rotation (ala once a month at least).

Go Fish Sushi is the best of the best in all of the Denver area. Sushi is the freshest of any place in Denver, great presentation and service! If you are a sushi lover, you have to try this place. And to top it all off, reasonable prices!

  • Cindy M.

Awesome sushi! Awesome sashimi!! Awesome service! This place has it all!! It is my new "go to" for sushi!! We ordered spicy edamame - delicious. Spider roll, amazing roll, and more .. Not only fresh and delicious but presentation was beautiful. Great experience!! Highly recommend this restaurant for attentive staff, fresh fish, & delicious food. Go Fish! Go now!! You won't regret it!!

I wanted to try this place, but I am vegan and they said their teriyaki has chicken stock. The guy had the gall to tell me most teriyaki places lie about whether it has a meat base sauce. This is the first I heard that "teriyaki has to have meat sauce". I think they are pompous and prejudiced against vegetarians. I don't understand why you would put "Tofu Teriyaki" on your menu if it was not vegetarian. I know for a fact at least 3 places that offer a vegetarian based sauce. Udon Kaisha in Lafayette is my go to place. Guess I will stick with them from now on. The attitude at Go Fish is arrogant and rude. I wouldn't go there even if I decided to be a meat eater after my experience there.
