Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

More like 2.5 stars. Not great but not terrible, actually really like their meatballs. Problem is consistency, lack of it. I've had great pizza here and I've had pizza that was undercooked, lacked toppings and all kinds of other misfires. Nothing that would keep me from going back but it's expensive and if I must throw good money at so-so pizza Anthony's is a safer choice to spend $60 on two pizzas.

First time we ordered today but have had a few times as my friend, who is a New Yorker, usually gets this when we have get togethers. I think it's been consistently good each time I have had it. The price is a bit high as I pay about the same for Anthony's pizza which is better. Since this was our first time, there was only one table that was being used, didn't really interact with the employees too much but would say they seemed friendly. I would recommend some take out specials to drive business but will likely eat this pizza again.

Really surprised at all of the low reviews. The pizza here is really delicious. The ambiance is seriously lacking, but the pies are yummy. Seems like alot of people have had customer service issues. We have been 4 times and have found that there is a really nice kid who works there. He is teens/20's and looks like he might be of middle easter descent. You should really try to sit in his section. We have been served by an older guy (owner) and a younger lady...both were lacking in the customer service department, but the young fella is great! They will split your pizza toppings. We love the caprese pizza as well as the supreme. The waiter we like even brought us a complementary side of meatballs which were AWESOME!

Caprese pizza was excellent! My kind of crust.

I get pizza here a couple of time a month. It is not Pepe's New Haven style or a New York High Temp Coal fired pizza. It is a great example of New York "deck oven" pizza that you find all over New York city. Basic sauce and topping with great Polly-O cheese. I grew up in the Northeast, so this is the pizza I grew up on. If you are expecting California Pizza Kitchen, Pizza Hut or the like you need to pass on this place. If you like New York Thin crust where the crust "snaps" a but when you fold it, this is about the best I have found around North Denver.

Great place. Good Pizza. We always do our team building lunch at this place. Real NY style pizza. the owner is very friendly. I highly recommend this place.

My family and I were craving pizza for dinner and the lady at the hotel we are staying at in Brighton suggested that we try one of the better pizza places in town "Fuhgidabowdit Pizzeria 2". I guess the name of this place gives itself it's own review!!! Hands down one of the worst pizza places ever!!! It's unfortunate that this place is still open, the only recommendation I would have for this place is for it to be closed asap. It's sad that such places even exist.

The pizza was ok..... sauce unremarkable, topping good and fresh, good pizza dough of the New York Style. We had an early lunch, around 11:30, ordered and waited at least 25 minutes to get our pie. The entire experience was very average at best. The killer was the $28 bill for an 18" supreme and two cokes. This has to be the most expensive, average pizza of my life. Sorry, but it wasn't $28 dollar of goodness.

Awesome pizza! I picked it up last time and the service and pizza was great. This time we dined in and were there for about an hour. Overheard another table say that it's best to call before as they are always that slow. Worth the wait, but now I know to call in next time.

2 stars for the food and that's it. service was negative 3 stars. we decided to give this place a try after great reviews. walk in and the place is quiet. sit down and wait 15 minutes just to order drinks. I think the manager was going around and asking people of their food was ok and when he got to our table we were about ready to leave. I saw atleast 3 waitress's and not one asked us for our order. I guess the name explains the service. its a shame cause the food was great

So after reading a few positive reviews my fiancee and I decided to try this place out for dinner. We came around 5pm on a monday and it was empty. The staff was courteous and attentive (keep in mind we were the only people there) The atmosphere was very casual and friendly, and I especially liked the few arcade games near the entrance which included what looks like an original Galaga machine. We ordered garlic bread as an appetizer and a couple of drinks. The drinks were brought to us immediately but the garlic bread was a different story. Service was very good but the food took quite a long time to come out -easily forgivable in the case of the freshly made pizza, not so much for the garlic bread which was listed as an APPETIZER on the menu and was only brought out AFTER the rest of our food (after a lengthy wait) It turns out the first one that was made for us was mistakenly sent out on a delivery and when it did arrive it was COMPED by our very nice waitress. The food: the signature stuffed pizza was amazingly good. I'm not a pizza connoisseur but this was definitely one of the best pizzas I've ever had and it was very reasonably priced to boot. The garlic bread was simple - just garlic bread with melted cheese and a side of marinara but it was delicious as well. Unfortunately my better half didn't leave any of the cheese ravioli for me to try but that in itself is a good sign and I have it on very good authority that it was well prepared and delicious. The cheesecake was good as well. The verdict: If you are in the area I would HIGHLY recommend checking this place out. I will definitely be returning.

The staff is very friendly and the ingredients are fresh. They make or get most of there products from New York so they strive to be a step above the rest. There prices are decent for what you get and there slices of pizza are huge! I just wish they had some wheat pasta on there menu.

As a new resident to the Brighton area, I have yet to find a place that was amazing... That is until we found Fuhgidabowdit Pizza. I really don't understand the 1-2 star reviews. This place is amazing and is the real deal when it comes to New York style pizza. The wait was a little long due to the fact that their ingredients are all fresh... But it was well worth it. As of now, the closest thing we've found that matches real New York style pizza is Anthony's. Not anymore. Hidden little gem in Brighton that will leave you pleased.

Man, just once I wish I could write a review about a place in Brighton that TOTALLY KNOCKED MY SOCKS OFF with food and service! But this ain't it. "Fuhgidabowdit". Were they being intentionally ironic with this name? Without getting into a long rant about my whole experience here, suffice to say the two times I tried it, the food was lackluster, and the service typical Brighton lackadaisical. The second time I was here, I was in a hurry, and just wanted a couple of slices. After waiting quite a while, was informed that they were out of slice pie, had only one slice available, and would I mind waiting while they baked a new pie? I said, "Sorry, in a hurry, just give me my money back." The counter guy apologized, and gave me the one slice for free, so there's that. That was a couple of years ago, and apparently, they have lived up to their name.

Very yummy New York style pizza! We have tried a couple other places in the Brighton area since moving here in June and this one is for sure going to be our go to from now on. We called in and ordered the house salad (which was incredible) and a create your own 18" (pepperoni, sausage, olives and mushrooms). Both spectacular. The gentleman taking our order was very friendly, and the whole process was very easy. We had it delivered and that was timely, and the pizza was at our door still hot enough to burn your mouth, which was even more fantasic! SOO glad I disregarded the 1 and 2 star ratings (you must have unreachable standards for pizza people). We will be ordering from them again and next time we intend on picking up or dining in. Can't wait to try other things...

After working 15 years in a certain pizza company, this place was a nice change. Service was great from the moment we walked in. They have a few games in there to entertain the kids. Pizza was great! Nice and juicy with fresh ingredients. I know I'll be craving a pizza from there in the near future! PS add some green chilies to your pizza, delicious!
(5)Rose M.
Ordered 2 pepperoni pizzas the other night from this place on a whim - BEST PIZZA IN BRIGHTON!! Delicious thin crust with the right amount of crunch and the right amount of greasy saucy folding action going on. I would say this is definitely new York style pizza and DAMN good at that!
(5)William F.
I've been waiting to come to this restaurant for a long time. Heard a lot about this place from friends. couple friends and I decided to go to this restaurant it has a very unique name I had to look and stare at for little while. We weren't sure what to order so we got some garlic cheese sticks and salad to start. Then the plain cheese pizza small and the stuffed pizza. O my gosh. We had enough food for three meals at a reasonable price. The beer was stored in a cooler on the other side of the kitchen across the dining room. It could have been displayed better I give this place four stars. Five on the pizza.
(4)Cory S.
The food was great, the servers (owner and his wife) were very attentive and friendly - they even handed out little suckers to the older kids in the restaurant and the bill was under $50 for two calzones, a kid's meal, two beers and two desserts. Will definitely be back!
(5)Eric O.
Just ordered pizza and had it delivered .. Recommended by the staff at our hotel.. The delivery man was courteous but other than that. Wasn't too great. Too expensive for what it tastes like. And it does not compare to any New York style pizza. Will prob not order from there again.
(2)Vina Y.
I'm surprised about the low reviews here. I've been here about 3 times and it's always been consistently good. I've had their pizza and calzones - both came with a generous amount of toppings and were reasonably sized for the price. I've had their wings as well and those were tender and flavorful. Fuhgidabowdit also let us host a big meeting here and no one ever complained, made us feel rushed, or even winced at splitting the check for the 15+ group that was there.
(4)Amy Y.
Always a great time! We enjoyed friendly, attentive service... Hot food, fast... Free salad with our dinner with the dine in special... And the best NY style pizza this side of the Mississippi!!
(5)Kelly B.
Wow! Worst.Pizza.Ever. We went here one night and there was NOBODY dining there. That should have been our warning to run for our lives, but for some unholy reason we decided to stay. It took longer than forever for them to deliver us one single pizza. When we got it, it was unevenly cooked. There was burnt dough on some areas and uncooked dough on the other areas. It was bland, dry, lacking cheese and lacking flavor. The staff is also rude. One of my kids accidentally spilled their soda and they acted like jerks because of it. They never said, "Oh, it's okay." They picked up her cup and left, didn't even offer to get her a new beverage so I had to share mine with her. They also didn't even clean up the mess and left the ice to melt on the carpet! I don't recommend this place to anyone! Pizza Hut makes better pizza than this place! And definitely don't show up with your kids, I think this is the least family friendly place I've been too. Slow, bad service and disgusting food.
(1)James H.
I'm very impressed. You can tell the owner really cares about his customers. I will be going back.
(5)Shawn Y.
Fugidabow the bad reviews, this place is great! Just had it for the third time tonight (twice dine in, once carry out). Service was fast and excellent. Food was even better! If you like good NY style pizza (and know what that means) you can't miss this Brighton gem.
(5)Andrew R.
Went in today and after getting a less than warm welcome we should of left but we took a seat and our order was taken very promptly. If only everything else was that fast. First they gave my friends kid a delicious cup of sour chocolate milk! The smell alone was obvious enough it was bad though the server was astonished that it was sour. 40 minutes after ordering our appetizer of cheese garlic bread was brought to the table. Starving at this point we were treated with a bland comparison of crap. Seriously even Little Ceasers bread taste better than this and they are the K-Mart of pizza chains. Another 30 mins pass by and we have to go looking for the pizza that is just chilling in the back. They acted like there wasn't even a dine in pizza to begin with and were confused that we ordered one. The pizza was missing a topping and also bland and wasn't very appetizing due to the pool of grease sitting on top. I have been to many NY style pizza places and know that it is naturally greasy but this was ridiculous. For being a place that claims New York style pizza there crust is pretty thick as well so I don't see how they think this is authentic. Food gets 2 stars their service should get 0 because they're really wasn't any. Avoid this place at if all possible you would get better service sitting down at pizza hut.
(1)John K.
First of all, we didn't have pizza. Others talked about the pizza taking forever but people sitting near us arrived after we did and they received their pizza in a reasonable amount of time - around 20 minutes. Maybe they got a new oven - who knows! And, the pizza looked tasty! However, we both had the lasagna pinwheels. We shared a pepperoni pinwheel & a basil/spinach pinwheel. They were both VERY good! The flavors were very fresh. You could tell it wasn't an out of the box sauce or recipe. I don't know how to explain it except to say that Italian sauces & spices have a bite to them when they are fresh and these definitely had a fresh bite! The place is nothing fancy, but they don't make themselves out to be anything but a good ol' place with good food. The service was great and friendly, and we wouldn't hesitate to come back or recommend it to friends!
(4)Anastasia T.
This is hands-down the best pizza in Brighton, CO and maybe the best in denver. Also, the closest to New York style. Try the Supreme! The stuffed crust is fantastic too! It's true. The service is not great. I mean, hell, the kitchen staff and cashier are a bunch of pot-head teenagers. What do you expect? Jeez! But The food is great, so just order carry out. It has always been ready when I get there, and hot and delicious too! Oh. They are a bit pricy compared to the competition, but WELL worth it! When I am craving a pizza, this place is the one for me!
(5)Matt D.
Good pizza. Great meatballs. They need to bring back breakfast. Better call and pick up than wait for a delivery as they will forgetaboutu.
(3)D P.
very greasy, very expensive and both times i have ordered from here the center of the crust was not cooked and very doughy. 3 pies cost about 65 bucks with tip. sorry but that is just way too much for a stupid pizza.
(2)Nancy W.
Ordered from there last night, first timer. The food was ok not bad but nothing special. I had the cheese calzon filled with a cheese mix, I could not really taste anything but the garlic crust. Once we picked up, we were greeted our food was ready the employees were friendly. I would recommend this place, but to be honest I probably will never remember to eat here. Like I said it was nothing special that I have to eat.
(2)Clay S.
My take, based on three visits for slices only, is "Inconsistent". First time, a perfect slice. Second, meh. Third, better but not up to the first. Will get there for a whole pie soon, and update here if warranted.
(3)Stephanie A.
The pizza is pretty good. BUT, the customer service is awful. They are lazy and rude. We have been there quite a few times and it's always a wait and bad customer service but this last time they actually turned us away! It was an hour before they closed. So there was plenty of time.....just rude! They make pizza, it can't take that long if they actually focused on what they did and got it done. I go to Big Bill's down south and they never have an issue with someone coming in an hour before closing, they will even stay late with a smile.

I figured I'd better write this review before I Fuhgidabowdit. So this evening I took my family to checkout this little pizzeria tucked in the corner of a strip mall on Bridge St. All started off well, we ordered our pizza at the walk up counter, and then took our seat in the dining area. The staff brought out coloring sheets for the kids and some interesting cracker like bread sticks. Little did we know they had done as their name suggested, taken our order and Fuhgidabowdit! So after 35 minutes my wife kindly asked about our order, the kids running the place gave her the old, it'll be out in 5 answer. 10 minutes later our hot wings came out. They had just come out of the fryer and were blistering hot. The wings them self were of such terrible quality we didn't even eat them all, which says a lot because by this time we've been waiting over 45 minutes to eat and were starving. So again we ask, the dark haired gal proceeds to tell us that nothing there is frozen and they have to cut all the veggies and make it from scratch. Personally I found this offensive, I'm Italian, and I make pizzas from scratch all the time. Honestly I can make a pizza in less than an hour if I pick the veggies fresh from the garden, let the dough rise the prescribed time and fire it in a wood oven. Damn! So we're up to an hour, pizza finally comes out. Not bad, the underside has some burned spots and the sauce was fairly runny but it was edible. So moral of the story, if you've got nothing better to do then wait for the dough to rise and some teenagers to chop veggies I'd stay away from this joint. That gal assured us this is how it always is, ya know because of all the quality and what knot. So if you're looking for a suggestion, you guessed it.... Fuhgidabowdit!
(1)Bret G.
This pizza place is the bomb. If you like NY style pizza. Then this is for you. It's not like Pizza Hut or any of that junk. This is the real deal. If I order pizza, it's from this place. Quit bitchin on how long it takes briars because they have many orders because it's good. So chill!
(5)Theresa A.
They catered an event for us with over 80 people. The food was incredible, service impeccable and prices more than reasonable. I would highly recommend them.
(5)Heather M.
This is an "ok" pizza place. They have HUGE pizzas like Anthony's pizza, but better. But their beer specials are pretty good around happy hour. It's like $1.25-$1.50 a bottle.
(3)Heather A.
I don't know what all the complaints are about! My friends and husband and I come here regularly and the food is always great! Best pizza in Brighton and the calzones are huge. I agree the service could be a little better but we have never waited more than 15 minutes for our food. The owner is known to come out and talk to the customers and is more then happy to comp something if it wasn't right. Highly recommend this place!!
