Copper Rail Bar & Grill Menu

I'll start with the bad news. The menu is limited. But it's a sports bar! Beer and football are boundless. And isn't that how things should be? But here's what separates them from every other piece of shite restaurants/bars in Brighton... The staff, and Eric - the owner. He seems to have a flare for understanding candidates, as he has managed to wrangle every quality bartender and waitress with a personality from the ever declining competition that surrounds him. If you're stuck in this town (for whatever reason), and you're looking for a good time, and looking to forget some things, this is the only place for you. All the beer contains alcohol. Trust me. I verified each of their selections. And the staff, while cute, are nice!!! But while cute, they're mostly married or engaged. And that's okay! Because they are great at their jobs! So don't be a creeper! If you're looking for a beer and a good time, this is the best place in town. Oh, and the only reason they didn't get all five of my stars was- is - their eggs. They do breakfast on the weekends. And if you don't like eggs over medium, the eggs are great. I've eaten here on LITERALLY a million occasions. Sorry. Just Googled literal, and realized that my last statement is literally not true. So I've ordered eggs-over-medium less than a million times, BUT, they have always come to my table overexcited. And what kind of guy likes an overexcited egg? The place is great, and when they figure out how to cook a limpish egg, they'll get my last star. Cheers!

Best pizza in Brighton this place would be fun place to watch the Bronco game. Great service too.

Rude staff, and no management. We were regulars for a long time, and were treated like we were second class citizens on our last visit. The waitress took 20 minutes to come to our table and got our drinks. Then she never stopped back until we had been there almost an hour. We ordered an appetizer, when we got our drinks but it never came out. When we first arrived we asked I f they could put the hockey game on tv. That never happened. When we got up to leave the waitress said "REALLY" and didn't acknowledge any problem. We spend a lot of $$$ in Brighton but this place won't see any of it anytime soon.

The food was horrible and it was cold. Will never go back or recommend this restaurant. This is just another good bar that serves bad food.

Super food, staff and atmosphere. This is one of those places that they are kind and professional each time you arrive, however the longer you go, they truly get to know your name, and we always feel like we are valued customer there. Cheers, no pun intended to the owners and staff. You have earned our regular business. The pizza is amazing and prices is reasonable

The waitress was pompous, arrogant and refused to write down our order. I specifically ordered a veggie burger and was served a meat burger. I won't be back.

We went here for lunch on a Sunday, it was not as busy as I expected. The bar was full, but the restaurant was mainly empty. For as slow as they were the service was not the best, the server did comment that it was her 4th day. I know that it takes some time to learn a new restaurant, but the basics of service are the same, don't let my drink sit empty for too long! I had to flag her down to get another round of drinks for the table. The food was cold by the time it got to the table, I had fish tacos, and there was not a lot of flavor. The fries were good though. Overall not some where I am going to be going back to all the time.

I really enjoy coming here. The servers are nice and definitely attentive. I love the building and the food is good. We are planning on going soon for the pizza buffet but my mom has gone for it and said it was great. I can't wait to try it. Overall, great choice if you are hanging around town.

Came here last night for some live music and drinks. I have no idea who the band was but they were awesome! The place is spacious and the bar is cool looking, the service wasn't the best- I think our cocktail waitress would have rather been drinking and hanging out with her friends than serving us (obviously) but she probably would have made a lot more money off of me if she had been more attentive.

Had a tall Strongbow, chips, salsa and guac. Strongbow - solid. Chips - dark (like a tad overfried, but that is my favorite! Rainbow chips anyone??) Salsa - generic, but I kept coming back for more. Guacamole - I only had one bite and it totally weirded me out. To much lime maybe? Kind of tart. I'm not sure, but it was not my favorite. Friendly service, relaxed atmosphere. I'd try their food :)

Could be great but it's not. I was excited they do Sun brunch but my dream was crushed by the bland food. Tried dinner and it was a tad better. The real problem here is the place is a favorite hangout of the local wannbe thug culture. Lot's of macho posturing from suburban cissies that wouldn't be brave enough to drive through a real hood with their windows down. Brighton is the wankster capital of the universe.

Good food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and reasonable prices. What else can you ask for?

As good as it gets in Brighton that's for sure! The food is always good and the beers are always cold! The service is top notch. They have a decent beer selection and Stongbow Cider for those gluten zombies which is a nice change from most places. I always find myself ordering the wings, nice and crispy with decent heat. On the weekends they feature live music, a lot of which is good stuff. When in Brighton check it out.

Things from the days of MoJoes has not changed. Service was slow and poor, and the food was marginal. Not a repeat.

If you need to log some good people watching time, are burnt out on Wal-Mart, and aren't quite feeling up to the Grizzly Rose, this place might just be the ticket. Sans people, the ambiance isn't bad for a sports bar, and their drink specials are sometimes outstanding; they usually have all-night happy hour prices on a couple of microbrews. Oh! Note to hipsters: PBR seems to be perpetually on sale. The food is decent if somewhat generic. They have actually developed (in-house) a formula that will no doubt revolutionize the service industry: when they expect it to be busy, they take the number of servers they need, divide this number by two, and the result is the number of servers that they schedule! Simply remarkable. As a result, the servers run their asses off, and are always very nice. Cut them some slack when your order takes extra time; it's the establishment's fault and not theirs. All of that is immaterial. We're here for the freaks.... er... I mean people. The nice thing about Copper Rail is that it serves not only as the place in Brighton where professionals and other people who can read meet for happy hour, but also as a burnout townie bar. The juxtaposition of these two groups is sometimes remarkable. I wouldn't tell this story if I didn't have witnesses, but I once saw a guy with a mullet and a sleeveless jean jacket spill beer on a guy in a suit. You just don't get that level of people watching in very many places. One other item of note, Copper Rail is one of those places that encourages the musicians to play loud enough to cost its patrons the occasional filling and perhaps cure cancer. I know that this can be annoying when you are talking to your friends, but the extraordinary volume has, on occasion, rescued me from conversations with regulars, so embrace the volume as you would a dear friend. Besides, there is nothing quite like watching a handful of middle-aged white suburbanites "dancing" in a well-lit bar after a few pitchers of Natural Light. It never fails to remind me of Elaine Benes.

My wife and I ate here the other day because we are new to the Brighton area and we wanted to find a local place the head great televisions to watch the football game. I saw that this place was on Yelp and that they had recently opened up a pizza bar. I came into this place just out of the road track and solve the open Pizza fire pit and do that this would be good pizza. I built my own pizza with my favorite toppings and it came out quickly and was very delicious. Now it's not a pizza like you would find at Old Chicago or who knows but for Brighton this was exceptional. Turn off of egg burps Street from 4th and you will find this hidden hole in the wall restaurant which is beautiful on the inside with ceilings that soar upwards of 20 feet.

Ok atmosphere, friendly staff, but so-so food at best. Tried the pizza recently -- disappointing.

Copper Rail has made an improvement since becoming a "Pizza Tavern." I think they're on the right track but not quite there. We've ordered 3 different pizzas on 3 separate occasions and they were lacking ingredients each time! For example, the supreme pizza looked like the meat was seriously missing and veggies were just barely sprinkled on. To give you an idea, there was only 4 tiny mushrooms on the entire 18 inch pizza. The Jalapeño Hawaiian hardly had any jalapeños so we asked for a side of jalapeños and were charged $0.50 for a super small plastic cup. And they weren't even roasted as the ones the pizza is supposed to come with. I like the thin crust but when I want pizza...I want pizza that delivers with a decent amount of toppings with every bite. I have no idea why they're skimping on that. It could otherwise be great. I also think its super silly to charge for a side of jalapeños. Another down fault is it seems the servers are not familiar with the menu. Each time we've asked for recommendations with no real response. One time in particular the waitress said she has no idea cuz she's a very picky eater and that her little boy could probably give us a better answer. When we asked what he likes, she replied, "oh, the Mack and cheese." Enough said. On a positive note, the beer is fairly priced and there's lots of tvs to enjoy a good football game.

We kind of get set in our ways and don't try other sports bars because we have a favorite one. But I read that they used locally grown produce & are family owned, and that's a big deal to me, so we checked them out. My husband and I split two different brunch items - Chicken & Waffles and "The Heap" - breakfast nachos with eggs, potatoes, green chile, sour cream, guacamole, tomatoes and cheese. The chicken and waffles was GREAT. The last time I had it was in Vegas at a place supposedly known for their chicken & waffles and these at Copper Rail were ten times better. The Heap was good, too, and at $7 it easily feeds two people. I was slightly disappointed with their beer selection. They have a ton on tap and in bottles, but one that they had listed on their website and one that they had listed on their beer menu they didn't have. Of course they were the 2 beers I was most interested in (Pyramid Hefeweizen & Easy Street Wheat). They do have a pretty good variety of beers, but I'd love to see even more local ones. The service was fine. Nothing out of this world, but not lacking. I saw a number of items on the appetizers that I'd love to try, and they have some great drink specials on beer and shots for happy hour, so I'd love to come back in the evening sometime and check it out. It was pretty empty at noon on a Saturday. We will definitely be back.

Went here on a Saturday afternoon to sit outside. Guess that was my first mistake as the server only acknowledged me after I waived her down and once she brought one drink, she never came back so we went inside hoping for better service. She was apologetic, the Bloody Mary's were pretty good, the food (I only did a appetizer sampler) was ok. If I am gonna drive 10-15 miles for a good time, I probably would not go back here. Could have just been a bad day? If I am in the area or if there is a get together with my friends, I may try it again.

We went here Wednesday evening and it was our second time there. Both times the pizza has been wonderful!!! We are pizza people and love to create our own. My only complaint as the were slow and we could see our pizza sitting up on the counter waiting for our server to pick up. I could see our server standing up front chi chatting with the hostess and all the while our pizza is up getting cold. Other than that the price of everything is great when you compare to big places like Old C's and such. We are satisfied every time we go there. We have both worked restaurants and know what its like to be a server, but being busy wasn't an excuse she could use this evening.

Lot's of TV's, NFL Sunday Ticket, Bottomless Mimosas, huge/cheap breakfast items. If you're not sold by now, there is no hope for you. Copper Rail is a new fav of mine and a much needed neighborhood restaurant/bar.

We had our team banquet here for our football team. So far so good! The servers and staff were really pleasant to work with. They had football decor for us and set up everything "buffet style" for our crew. They even let us use our projector to project our season photos on their huge screen. As for the food. I loved the hot wings. They were certainly a huge hit with our crowd. Thank you Sasha and all the other nice servers at Copper Rail for helping to make our team party great!

This place has won me over.I find myself craving the Locomotive burrito and on the weekends their hangover breakfast is big enough for 3 or 4 people for 22 bucks. I never went in when the building was called mojitos so I cannot compare the two but why would I? This place is a great spot in a town with very little great spots left. The staff was quick and friendly and the food is good

I was a skeptic when Copper Rail first opened. I wasn't certain that it would really catch on in Brighton. The food was a bit hit-or-miss, and the drink specials weren't all that great. Count me as a big fan now. I generally just stick to the apps, burgers and chicken sandwiches, so can't really speak to the entrees on the menu, but I think more attention is being paid now to the consistency of food coming out of the kitchen, and the burgers are as good as it gets in the area. They have a very good beer selection and the happy hour (half-off apps and I think generally a dollar off drafts) and then other drink specials they have appeal to the locals. The owners are omni-present and the rest of the staff is very attentive. We were regulars at Mojo's and while we liked the staff, it seemed that fact was at times sort of taken for granted. We always get excellent service at Copper Rail.

I enjoyed this place when it was still Mojo's - at least until right up until it closed down. I was hopeful to see that it would be opening under new ownership and a different name as Mojo's did go downhill just prior to closing. It's still a sports bar with just about every sport imaginable playing on one of the many large flat screen TVs. The beer selection is still good but it all goes downhill after that. We visited on a Friday night not too long after reopening and it was not very busy (maybe should have been our first clue). The hostess was nice as was our waitress until we moved from a wobbly high top next to the door to a booth. Yes, we should have consulted with her prior to moving, but like I said, it wasn't busy and there were several open tables within her station. Our waitress took our order (thought my niece did point out after she left our table that she was 'really snarky') and we waited for several minutes before our drinks were ordered. One of the areas of decline when this place was still Mojo's was the food. Well I would have much preferred Mojos' food over Copper Rails! Both my sister and niece ordered burgers and I opted with the fish & chips. I'll start off by saying that most of the food looked recycled -- the burgers were dry, lukewarm and looked like hockey pucks. My fish consisted of 2 very small (almost guppy sized) pieces of over battered fish. The only positive was that it was fried nicely, with a nice crunch and very little greasiness. I have to say that the fries that the 3 of us were served looked (and tasted) like they had been recycled several times throughout the course of the day. They were cold, hard, little potato slivers that were various colors ranging from golden brown to burnt. The only decent part of the meal? The draft Blue Moons, each served with a nice slice of orange - which was the only decent morsel of food that we ate that night!

This place is pretty cool for a local bar. They have great food, games on TV, live music sometimes, poker tournaments, arcade games.. the list goes one. Not to mention the staff are really awesome and it's kid friendly. Stop by if your in town, you wont regret it.

For Brighton this place is pretty cool. They have a great happy hour, and their Chili Cheese Fry are amazing! Stop by if your in town!

I was in the bar last night for a birthday, and our server was Sarah. She was hands down one of the worst servers I've EVER dealt with and I've worked in the bar/restaurant industry. I shouldn't have to ask her to clean up the table. It was full with an empty pizza pan, plates, glasses and beer bottles. She gave me a disgusted look and went on her way. She eventually came back to clear the table. Very rarely did she come over to check on us to see if we needed anything. And the wait time to get drinks was unacceptable. I do like the bar and the food, but as far as the service goes, she is as bad as it comes. Your server is horrible at her job when you have to go to the bar to get your own drink!

Tried Copper Rail on Sunday during the Broncos game. Looks pretty much like the old Mojos inside with a slightly different menu. The staff was friendly and just about every game was playing on the flat panels. I had a 1/2 lb cheeseburger with onion rings. The burger was pretty good and the onions rings were really good - although I only received FIVE rings. My GF had a burger as well with fries. The fries tasted like they were fresh cut. Not sure if they were ... but they were really good. Several game time drink specials were in effect. Good prices. I recommend..

We were visiting friends in the are and they took us there. Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive waitress - Deanna. Food is well priced and well prepared. I tried the pulled pork sandwich and the chicken strips, my boyfriend had the shrimp marinara and the steak sand. All was great! Keep it up guys!!

Copper Rail has gotten better and better in the last year. They started off rocky but are now off and running. The atmosphere is great. Only place in Brighton that seems to have a good happy hour. It also is a great place for kids and large parties. We will be going back.

The food here is super good! Their ranch is by far the best I've had in awhile. I'd say this place is definitely one of the good local spots! I've seen alot of reviews complaining about the staff, all my experiences here have been good for where I'm at. On the restaurant side the waitress is one point. In the bar area they are a little slower. But that is to be expected in bar seating. I highly recommend this place! Their loaded fries are tp die for!

In town on business and have gone to the Copper Rail for what is now the 3rd night in a row. The food , beer, and service is consistently exceptional. Specifically their Calzone with a New Belgium 1554 Black Ale.

"Meh" about sums it up. It's not all that bad, but it certainly isn't good. I was there for a small birthday party. The service was friendly, but not all that attentive... they brought too few waters for the group (although it does have that Brighton water taste, so maybe they were doing us a favor), and the table was almost completely bussed and the check long since paid before they could be bothered to bring a take-home box for the last half of my pizza (although I was having misgivings about taking it home, so maybe they were doing me another favor). The rocky mountain oysters were okay... not really my thing, but they weren't bad. The jalapeno poppers were much better, but it's really hard to screw those up. The pizza wasn't bad, but for being wood-fired pizza it wasn't really all that thrilling either. It was interesting that it looked like half of the toppings were thrown on after it was already cooked, meaning that they just fell off while I was trying to eat it. It does have a nice, friendly atmosphere, and it's not like there's a lot of better places in Brighton, but I wouldn't be all that excited to go back.

It's an okay place for a beer. If you don't know the bartender expect mediocre service. Literally the first two times I came I was impressed. The last few have been less than stellar. Can not get served a Guiness in a proper Guiness glass, and yes it does change the taste of the beer when served in a regular pint glass. I hope the new and upcoming micro brew down the street gives them a little competition.

Great prices and good food only reason for the 4 star is this place has h serious parking issue! Pizza is okay the "fresh jalapeños" are anything but if your like me and can't stand jalapeños from a jar/can do not order them. You will be disappointed I also have had the BLT & A Wrap it was very tasty paired with AMAZING sweet potato fries. Dinner for 2 was very reason able 28$ including tip!! We have been back sense and it was great the second time.

The wife and I stopped in yesterday for lunch. Overall, a good experience in a clean place with good service. I had the pizza and salad bar buffet and my wife had the veggie burger and sweet potato fries. She liked her meal and mine was also good. The salad bar was full of fresh ingredients and the pizza was hot with several pies on the buffet at all times. Good iced tea with refills as needed. The burgers looked good and I'll try one next time we come. Some other reviewers commented on parking issues. We didn't have any on a Monday at 11:30 but I could see problems during busy times.
