Good was excellent, service was great, views amazing! Glad we found this new gem in Breck. Shuttle only runs on the weekend, but it's only 1 mile outside of town. We'll definitely be back!

Certainly one of the best views on the area. Amazing deck for anytime of the year. Great beer and wine selection. Happy hour is spectacular with a delectable wine and cheese platter. I have dined several times and each time the cuisine was perfect. This place is a gem and I love the off beat location. It is a true mountain paradise and you will enjoy the experience.

I came back for my birthday dinner and it was incredible! I ordered the Bison Short Ribs and it was the best meal I've had in a very long time. The meat was so tender it could fall right off the perfect bones. I mean there wasn't any conversation during that dish: just savoring, sensing, and preparing the next morsel. After cleaning my plate bare, I moved on to dessert. To close an excellent meal on my birthday, I went with a snifter of Grand Marnier to accompany the Grand Marnier Creme Brulee which was like an orange creamy lake just below the ice of carmelized glaze. Buddha was satiated!

This was one of the worst meals I have ever paid for. The restaurant was cold, the service was slow and the food was substandard at best. We dined for New Year's Eve. The steak was under cooked even after sending it back twice and fatty, the portion size was a joke and the meal was overpriced at $100 per person. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I was sadly disappointed!!! #dontwasteyourmoney

Very good food and a nice view of.Breckenridge. the portions were generous and I had a very pleasant meal. Not sure if I would have chosen to eat here had I not.been staying at the hotel already but very glad that I did. If you want to get out of town and have better views of the area come here to eat it is worth the drive.

What a disappointing experience. Yelp reviews were so positive... The food was fine, but the good tasted was taken away by the terrible service. It was the worst I have seen in a very long time. The waitresses couldn't describe the food and barely knew what was on the menu. When my husband asked "how is the lamb dish cooked", the snotty response was "it's cooked on the grill" When she saw that we were not satisfied with that answer, she added, "All of our meats are cooked on the grill, it's really good" - hmmm... not sure what that tells us. Many of the responses were almost laughable they were so bad. We aren't overly critical when it comes to service and give people the benefit of the doubt, but this was just so bad. It's unfortunate b/c we were excited to try a new restaurant in Breck, but we won't go back. It's a pricey place, and the least they can do is provide an equal level of service.

Lovely place overlooking Breckenridge and the slopes with a simply spectacular view. Would love to eat and have drinks on the patio during the summer months. Really enjoyed the food and friendly service. Elk and lamb were hits. Call ahead and their free shuttle will pick you up in town, which was a great service since we had no car.

This place is the best in Breck! Amazing food, amazing service, amazing views, and amazing Exec Chef Brent Turnipseede! Everything we had was absolutely amazing! Will definitely be back or will follow Brent where ever he goes.

We ate here for the first time tonight. The food was amazing. The elk strip steak and herb chicken were amazing. The elk is juicy and tasty. The creme brulee is sweet. We recommend this place to everyone.

The happy hour appetizers and drinks are among the best in Breck, and could be the best value in Breck as well. Go soon because I can't believe they can continue to serve such great food in good portions at such prices.

My parents and I are in town and we needed a nice dinner tonight (really, to make up for the Cup of Soup we had last night in our condo). We asked around and honestly the restaurant we really wanted to go to didn't have an opening until 9.30 tonight. I saw this restaurant and they had an opening so we went for it. If you are staying in town you definitely will need to drive there. I guess you could walk if your adventurous. I guess I would really give the place 3.5 stars. We made reservations for 6.30 and got there a little after 6. We were seated promptly and then the wait began. We waited. We waited. We waited. I think it was almost an hour until our food arrived... My dad had the filet. He said it was a good size, but half of it was tough and dry. Mom had a garden salad which she liked a lot. I had the Pigs & Pineapple, the tapas plate of scallops and some fries. (I know... Weird combination). All were good. The scallops were the best I've had in a long time. Dessert was ricotta cheesecake with cherries compote. We just had soda, iced tea & water. No alcohol. Bill total was $93. All in all, it was good.... Just really slow.

Food was excellent, however service was slow. Only one waiter for all the tables. Had to flag him down to get a refill. He didn't bother to ask my friend if she wanted a refill. Need more staffing for sure. Otherwise food and the view were wonderful.

Great waitress. Great elk steak. Great bison short ribs. Great wild boar pops. I thought the scallop appetizer with deviled eggs were well concocted and full of flavor. We also enjoyed a grand marnier creme brulee and a lemon custard. SInce we were dining at night, the view wasn't as breathtaking as it was advertised. You car's GPS will not work on the way up the mountain to the resort. Be careful not to get stuck on the route to the restaurant. Enjoy the bar area.

They have only been open 2 weeks. Fine dining and the best view in Breckenridge. Came for Christmas dinner and is served buffet style for tonight. Amazing food and the service is great. The resort has a shuttle that will pick you up in town and bring you and take you back. It is further out of town then main street restaurants but is worth it. Would not recommend trying to walk due to the hills. Highly recommend a reservation.

Our dinner this evening was tops! Our service provided by J.J. was perfect and the appetizers with happy hour wine kicked our evening off wonderfully .....we also enjoyed the Blackcherry ricotta cheesecake for the "" big finish! "" Our table at the window was a spectacular Summit County view of Hoosier Pass and amazing gold colors....the Traverse is our new fav restaurant! !!

The location is very nice and the views from the restaurant are great. We went there to celebrate my wife's B day. The service was a little too casual and not really focused. When the server finally brought the right bottle of wine, he spilled wine drops all over the table. The menu was interesting and the food was good. Two of us ordered the extra elk filet and to be cooked medium. The meat came back well done which was a disappointment. The three of us did not sleep too well and had a slow day the day after. I guess that the food was heavy to digest. From such a nice lodge I would expect a more refine service , finer foods and certainly not over cooked meats.
