We did take-out from here thinking a big pasta dinner in our apt would be perfect for a family of exhausted skiers. Wow was it bad! The garlic cheese bread was so bad we could not eat it. The lasagna was edible but bland and mushy. The sauce in spaghetti with meatballs was thin, tasteless. Add insult to injury... It was very expensive for a simple pasta dinner. The only good part - ready in 15 mins.

Host staff seemed out of sorts. Like they had no idea what they were doing, barely had contact with folks waiting. Service was horribly slow. What food was good was great, but bad was bad. We sent back a veal marsala that was tough.

We discovered Taddeo's for lunch after a ski instructor on a lift told us about it. When you come off Peak 9, walk through the building past the overpriced Maggie's cafeteria, down a few steps, and around the corner to Taddeo's, still in the Village complex. The restaurant was empty so we spread out and helped ourselves to the $11 pizza/pasta buffet, which had 3 kinds of pizza, a couple of pastas, and a salad bowl. Not fancy but the food was fine and you can't beat the price. We went back for dinner a few days later and thought the food was again pretty good though not great. Prices were reasonable for Breckenridge.

Nice efficient waiter. Dinner food is good but not outstanding. I recommend this restaurant for drinks and appetizers-antipasto platter and artichoke fritters were excellent.

A disappointment. Place was empty, which should have been the first clue that this was not the place to be. We were seated in the back of a beautiful room, but we would have loved a seat by the window but were told they were being held for people with a reservation.... No one came in for those tables while we were there and there were four empty tables by the window. We never were told the specials. Then the food was only ehhhh. Then! A table of 30 entered and of course they acted as if the place was their own, which essentially it was. But really?! Hostess and waiter were not responsive to our complaints. Definitely will not return.

Food was bad. Over cooked pasta, bland flavors, greasy chicken and eggplant parm, over salted calamari. The only way this food would be good is if you've been out hiking or skiing all day and are starving to eat anything that is put in front of you. If you are from a city and are used to eating good / quality food you will be very disappointed. On a positive note our waitress was nice and did s great job.

Returned to Taddeo's for another meal, but it wasn't a terrific experience like a couple of days ago. For one, it took a long time to get our food....waitress kept apologizing, but the food still didn't come. It wasn't that busy either at 8pm at night. When it did come, my daughters meal, the pesto ravioli special was cold and under cooked. She sent it back it it came out after another 15 minutes, long after everyone else had finished so we took it to go. We had the CO lamb the last time and it was terrific, we ordered it med and it wasn't nearly as good...if you order it, go with med rare...not the kitchens fault. They did comp the special plus a 10% discount, but we'd rather have a great dining experience than the discount.

We ate at Taddeos for the first time this past weekend, during the first annual Breckenridge wine festival. Our meal and the service were outstanding. Our sincere compliments to the restaurant, the chef and to the Breckenridge wine festival!
We made reservations at least a week ahead. They confirmed for the wrong night. We arrived about 10 minutes early and waited in the bar area 10-15 minutes past our reservation time. The hostess seemed either high or of low intelligence since she asked who we were 3x and seemed confused. We finally made it to our table, had water. The waitress took our app and drink order- brought 3/4 correct ones and was not apologetic about the wrong one. While we were waiting, another server (the only one that seemed together, Brian) came over introduced himself and started explaining the specials. About 2/3 way thru, our waitress hushed him and shoo'ed him away. When we asked her about specials, she had NO CLUE! Most of our meals came out correct, but one was WAY off. So as most of us ate small potions of fish, chewy chicken Marsala, chewy eggplant... My sister waited for her meal. More disappointment. Dessert was okay. The cheesecake tasted like grocery store cheesecake. Tiramisu was... Ok. All in all... I would not (nor would my family of 12) come back. Overpriced, not appetizing, poor service.

I brought a group of 53 Austin Skiers in on Tuesday 3-3-2015. Taddeo's provided excellent service and attention to detail. We were served family style and everyone was very happy with the food and the atmosphere. If you are looking for a venue to serve a large party and want it to be done well.... CONTACT TADDEO'S!!

Very good food, excellent wine list, and a full bar. We particularly liked the Taddeo's salad. The fettuccine alfredo was very good as well. The place was very quiet and nearly empty but we had to wait for a table even with a reservation. Not sure why that was the case. Our server was very attentive.

The Austin Skiers and Boarders brought 53 people for our mid-trip party. They served us family style & did a marvelous job never missing a beat with minimal delay either refilling our beverages or serving the next course. The entire meal was very good - I really enjoyed the vegetable lasagne.

Skip Main Street for Happy Hour because this is as good as it gets. Located right on Maggie's Pond you can come in with your boots and saddle up to the bar. I've tried just about everything on the Happy Hour menu food wise and it is very good Italian. Also good drink specials. Perfect place to transition from your day to night activities.

This is such a great place for Happy Hour, after a long day on the slopes, from 3-6pm. Cheap wine, drafts, and wells as well as $5 apps. I went twice during a ski weekend in Breck and had the garlic bread, spicy fried raviolis (although not spicy at all) truffle parm fries (little undercooked) and the star of the show: arancini. Wow, those were so good! Those fried risotto balls stuffed with mozzarella and pesto are totally worth the visit. I got a pasta dish for dinner once and it was not that great. Super onion-y, with watery sauce. Stick with the Happy Hour food: super affordable, good variety, a short walk from the lift. Perfect combination!

The service here was very friendly but inattentive and slow. The food was average at best. We ordered the fried ravioli as an appetizer and were accidentally given the risotto balls instead, which sounded fine, but they had pretty much no taste. We said that they didn't need to bring the ravioli since we had so much food coming anyway, and they rightfully didn't charge us for the risotto balls. We also had the meatballs, which were decent and the sauce was pretty good. The marsala was poor. A couple of friends enjoyed their food, so I decided to bump this up to 3 stars. I imagine there are better restaurants in Breck though.

I ate here for a wedding rehearsal dinner. The dishes were picked out already. We started with some garlic cheese bread and some bruchetta. It was mediocre at best. The next course was salad. The lettuce was soggy and drenched in dressing. The main course was chicken parm and some steak medallions. Again, nothing special. In fact, the steak was tough and unflavored/unseasoned. Finally, my wife and I ordered dessert which was not included. We waited over 30 minutes and when I finally asked right before I was leaving, the server said it had been sitting on the line. The service was terrible. I do not recommend this place and will not be going back.

I probably shouldn't even write this review because I don't want more people knowing that they have one of the best happy hours in Breck and word is spreading. It was hard to get a seat yesterday at 5. From 3-6 in the bar area only it's BOGO apps & all drinks (not just wells, but anything)! I recommend the spicy fried raviolis, mussels in pesto, bruschetta... they are all yummy.
(5)
Brent W.
Mediocre food and service. I think we hit them right when they were super busy so might just be the circumstances. Nice location. Wouldn't be opposed to trying again to see if better next time.

I guess my family and I had a different experience than others. They had a salad, spinach lasagna, and speghetti. I had pizza. Everyone was very happy with their meal. My pizza had flavorful veggies, the perfect amount of sauce, and a chewy, but not tough, crust. Our server, Emma, was very attentive and pleasant. We were all pleasantly surprised given the Yelp reviews. And it is very convenient to skiing. We walked after having a few drinks at Maggie's.

Have eaten here twice, both times on ski vacations. My family has been satisfied both times. The pizzas (which the mini size works great for kids to share) are quite good. I had the lamb with figs, and I enjoyed it. The chicken parmesan was enjoyable, too. With many resort properties closer to the sports bar than anything else, this is a nice change of pace, and a more traditional restaurant offering (although there is a bar area offering apres-ski as well).

Food was okay.... Service was horrible! I know the customer isn't always right. However, making the customer feel like a nuisance for asking for water seems a bit harsh. Won't go back.

Antipasti plate was served in a large bowl. The meat was an odd color, the grapes and olives formed a soup in the bottom of the bowl. Our waitress thought it had been left over from another guest the night before. Management, (PAT) screaming at the employees. Dirty shower curtain dividing eating areas. The Bruschetta was soggy. The only steak, over cooked. I am sad to say I had written a review previous and for what ever reason it is no longer available. I believe that if they can edit reviews, then I guess your not getting the facts on these companies. Taddeo's also had a huge turn over in employees, they need to bring in Chef Ramsey to clean up their obvious problems. Bad management, dirty environment and food that is not fresh.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Breckenridge Village and decided to go to Taddeo's for dinner since I had been there the night before with some friends. I was pleasantly surprised since my expectations of an Italian restaurant in Colorado weren't high (we're from Chicago), but I enjoyed it so much that we went back the next night when she arrived in town. I got the fig & truffle oil pizza which was DELICOUS and I had the gorgonzola pasta which was really good too. We also shared a chopped salad, soup and a glass of wine each and were really pleased with the bill total, considering everything that we ordered! The Owner, Joe, came to our table to make sure everything was to our liking and both he and the staff were extremely friendly and professional!

Terrible customer service! Placed a delivery order at 7:13 pm, an hour later I was told it was "in the oven" and would be delivered in 20 minutes. I called again at 9:15 and was then told they didn't have the address for delivery. This, of course, was confirmed repeatedly. The attendant I spoke to was unapologetic and could only offer the excuse of "we've been really busy". Not the experience I was anticipating!

Ugh! I do not even want to waste my time with a review. This place is NOT good. Save yourself and go somewhere else, ANYWHERE else! I got the shrimp arabiatta and the shrimp was overcooked, the sauce bland and the pasta was basically not cooked. Absolutely bad. Period. The only reason the place is not getting 1 star is the view. Trust, if there were not fabulous mountain views this place would not even be worth walking into. If you have no other option and you MUST go here, just sit at the bar with a drink. Goodness they can't mess that up... can they?

So much disappointment here. The half empty dining room on a Saturday night should have clued us in on what we were in for, but we'd made reservations on opentable, and figured we'd follow through. Nothing was truly bad, but nothing really qualified as good either. It was Italian food. Italian food like Sysco might do it. The Chicken Parm was exactly that. Red Sauce on breaded chicken with a little parm; at least they got the visuals right. The service was absolutely the minimum that a person could get away with doing and still expect a tip. No smile, no pride in explaining the food..almost like they knew how boring the place was and were a bit ashamed of it. The best part of the meal was looking up other nearby restaurants to see where we could go for desert...thank goodness for a little Parisian bistro down the street!

Very disappointing meal at this place. We ate here our first night in Breck and ordered pizza. The pizza was delicious and our quick meal was fine - server was very nice although a little too chatty. We decided to try it again for our last night - everyone was dying for a nice Itailian meal. Well.......after waiting endlessly for our meals - we were told another large party had put their meal order in before ours was received. Therefore the kitchen was very backed up and our meal would be delayed. You would think someone would have remembered to bring us bread. But - nope! We couldn't even get someone to approach the table to ask if we would like bread. Talk about being ignored. Finally when the meal came, my husband and I were very disappointed. We had decided to share the chicken marsala - which was advertised as feeding 2 people for $33. It was a complete joke. It was a very undersized portion - with 2 small and rubbery chicken pieces. The marsala sauce seemed very sweet, dark and strong. We were very disappointed in our food selection. Then we couldn't even get our server's attention to get the bill paid. Not sure why they had such a hard time pulling off our meal - the restaurant was not even close to full capacity. Plenty of empty tables. Now I know why.......

Our favorite casual dining Italian restaurant in Breckenridge. Can handle big parties (10-12) and is very kid friendly. Make a reservation during ski season or for large parties. Menu provides info on portion size (which are large)

Way over price for sub standard Italian food. Don't order the Mozzarella Salad for $12, you'll get 4 slivers of the cheese and a handful of spring-mix lettuce. The decor is out of the 1970's & they have the old dirty carpet to match. The staff was friendly which was a plus. Better Italian food at Pizza Hut!

I LOVE this place. They make a delicious tomato basil soup as well a mean penne pasta a la vodka. My husband ordered the lamb and said it was very tastey. They also offer a skiers lunch special where you can get a slice of pizza (which is pretty big), a soup or salad, and either a soda or PBR for only $6! You cant beat that. Great atmosphere too.

I don't know what has happened to this Restaurant since our last visit but the meal was less then what we expected. We ordered Chicken Parmesan and It was truly disappointing. Chicken was over cooked and dry marinara sauce was out of the bottle tasting not unique or family recipe type. I have eaten there before and when the owner is present the food is much better. I hope he will pay more attention to the quality and delivery of meals in the future or suffer the reality of loss of patronage. We will try again to see if there is some improvement. I was truly disappointed and would have told the owner if he was present. I know that it is difficult to be present at all times but if you are interested in building a customer base that recommends you. You need to be there. Wait staff is ok but not exceptional. Found that happy hour offer not extended to dinners seemed offensive and that Charging for additional bread sad and cheap. I was truly disappointed in this restaurant it was one that I used to like.

Salad was dressed too heavily and the pasta dishes were swimming in sauce. However, they did taste good. My daughter loved the meatballs which is why I didn't give a 1 star rating. Wish we had gone elsewhere for dinner.

Ate here New Year's Eve with adult family of five . Fortunately they offered their regular menu plus a few specials. Loved the spinach salad with goat cheese, figs, walnuts and pancetta dressing served family style, which we all shared. Entree special of lobster tail on linguine in a light herb sauce was fresh, pasta nicely al dente and not heavy. Delicious. Others enjoyed the minestrone and salmon entree. Flourless chocolate cake with fruit compote sauce was very tasty. Bread was dense and moist, with flavorful olive oil offered at the table. Well priced, good atmosphere and so close to the Village lodging at the base of Peak 9 where we were staying. We were very pleased with our experience, and the staff seemed to care if we were having a good experience as well.

Truly bland and flavorless Italian for a high price. We went to this place because it was the only joint that could accommodate our large party of 20, however we would have been better off ordering delivery from pizza hut. Although the portion size of the calamari was large, it ended up being very bland and tasteless, with mostly breadcrumbs and very little calamari. The few pieces that actually contained calamari were overcooked and rubbery. The Caesar salad had way too much anchovy, and I found the fishy taste overwhelming and unpleasant. The rigatoni sausage pasta was completely over-cooked and mushy, although the sauce was edible. The hubby ordered the chicken alla vodka which strangely tasted more like clam sauce than vodka sauce. And once again, the pasta was way overcooked, almost as though it were a few weeks old and simply reheated in the microwave. The only reason this place gets more than one star was because the service was decent, even with our large party. But I definitely will avoid this place in the future.

I am a little conflicted on only giving a 2. Based on food alone this restaraunt is closer to a 3. Ambience: Firstly, the lighting in the dining room is terrible I have 20/20 vision but it was so dark you have to literally put your nose right in the menu or get out a flashlight (which I saw someone doing). The restaraunt needs a good face lift as there is lots of unfinshed touches around. Food: The sausage rigatoni was excellent. The chicken parm not so much. we had to send the chicken parm back because it was so bad. They did take it off the bill and the replacement (lasagna) was good. Service: Our waitress was very friendly, but not to attentive. Overall I think the pricey dishes coupled with the atmosphere was just not up to expectations at all.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

This restaurant has amazing ambiance and for that alone it should get 5 stars. It has wonderful views of the mountains and sits on the river so loved the views. We also had the meatballs, which were decent and the sauce was pretty good. The marsala was poor. A couple of friends enjoyed their food, so I decided to bump this up to 3 stars. I imagine there are better restaurants in Breck though.

Enjoyed a delicious dinner at Taddeo's... Danielle the Manager was very nice as was our server!

Lasagna was really good! Had a nice touch of spinach which made a traditionally heavy dish light but still filling! Will be going there again soon to try out more of the food!

Came here for lunch. Great food and prices. Almost did not make it back to slopes. Came back for dinner. Very Happy. Bartender KJ from Long Beach NY a nice surprise.

Food and atmosphere is delicious! They take reservations for large groups, had excellent, fast service and the food (apps, salad and variety of pizza) were delicious. Will definitely be back!

This was some of the best food I've had in Breck. Friendly service, good food and the owner came by to say hi. Great experience and I would def go back!

Our bartender Christian was AMAZING. Every detail regarding our meal was attended to with precision and utmost care. He's also super cute!

Mediocre food and service. I think we hit them right when they were super busy so might just be the circumstances. Nice location. Wouldn't be opposed to trying again to see if better next time.

Advertised gluten free menu, but did not have any gluten free entrees. Manager stopped and asked how everything was yet did not offer to fix situation. Service and experience were fair at best. Go somewhere else.

Awesome food and service...had 25 folks in our party, had about 8 different dishes and all were fantastic and came out quickly. Great find in Breckenridge!
