I enjoy this super casual pub in Frisco and was happy to see that it opened in what used to be Ullr's on Main Street over the summer. They have a bunch of great burgers under $10 and perfect curly fries! Not orange, just like a regular fry but curled. I love them. In addition to a bargain happy hour with half off apps and discounted beers, they also have daily drink specials, like $4 Breckenridge Distillery whiskey cocktails on Fridays (served in a pint glass, big time) along with $2 PBR tallboys, and $4 bloody marys on Saturdays. They have a lot of sandwiches, including some vegetarian, as well as soup, chili, mac and cheese (you can add broccoli or chicken if you want), salads, gyros and desserts like brownie sundaes. You can find almost any fried food you're craving: pickles, chicken strips (regular and buffalo sauced), wings, mozzarella balls and plenty more. There is a slightly more quiet dining room off to one side, or a rowdier large bar area. Tons of tvs for sports watchers. Their draft beer list features many Colorado craft breweries, and in particular quite a few from mountain brewers like Dillon Dam, Pug Ryan's and Backcountry. Nothing fancy. Friendly service. Huge portions. And the tables do look like strips of bacon!

I cant tell you how wonderful it was to step into this bar. We went for a drink but stayed for 5 hours. The food was great and the people were awesome. We sat at the bar for happy hour and the food and drinks prices were amazing. We were all surprised how inexpensive it was. The service at the bar was great. On the happy hour menu are the fish bites and they are the same fish used as in the fish and chips. We went back the next day to watch some football and again, the service and food was terrific. The place does not disappoint and the prices are surprisingly very reasonable. So make it an Irish night when you are there. It should be a lot of fun.

For limited options in Breckinrdge, this local bar certainly delivers if you're looking for a great place to drink a beer and watch sports! With countless HD flat-panel televisions and a diverse selections of beers on tap (plus a great quick weekend breakfast menu), I'll be sure to stop in next time I venture up to the mountains!

Went on Wednesday for burger night and it was great. Middle of July so we were able to sit at the bar and the bartender helped my husband pick a good beer and since it was burger night we probably saved 50%. Food was good; fries cooked well and our order arrived quickly. They checked on us during the meal to make sure everything was ok. Will go back again.

Standard sports bar. If you like the feeling of watching every tv in a bar with a different game, then this is your place. Reminded me of something you would find in Greenwich village in New York City. Good. Selection of beers on tap and good bartenders.

Good times, good people, and $2.50 Coors light drafts- need I say more? We arrived as MNF was getting started and managed to close the place down. Bartenders were attentive and friendly all night long, suggested a great pretzel stick appetizer with a queso cheese sauce. Dinner was good for myself, as I had the BBQ pulled pork and fries, whereas my friend had the Fajita sliders that were more like steak-ums sliders. Needless to say, she was NOT impressed but moved past it to have a great night with new friends:) Phrase of the night: beer me.

Great pub style food. Good selection on menu & service was prompt. Excellent selection of beers, local & traditional. Plenty of tvs.

Went to Ollie's on a Sunday night (Veteran's Day Weekend) and it was pretty cool. If you're into the pub atmosphere with sports on all the screens, this is the place for you! The waitress was very nice and food and drinks came out pretty quickly. I'm not a huge "pub" fan, but if you are, this is definitely a cool little place. I would go again to have a few drinks if I were in town.

Came here after a LONG (read: three hours of digging out) day of snowmobiling. Well, it might have taken longer than that to get our food. We were seated rather promptly.....and then.....nothing. About 5 minutes to see our server - not TOO bad. Got drink orders and beers arrives fairly promptly. Then......a good 10-15 minutes before she came back. Took our order, which included Appetizers and thought we were good. We got the "Chefs Cheezy Salty Balls" and the Cheese Fries. The Salty Balls took a good 18-20 minutes to arrive and the Cheese Fries were at least 10 minutes behind those. So now, we're 25 minutes in JUST getting to the appetizers. Oh, and on the Salty Balls - these are about 87% dough and 13% cheese. And, they were served with about 2/3 oz. of marinara sauce. A ridiculously small amount. We asked for more and got....our server then brought us like 5 large servings (even though we were now 3/4 finished with them).......AND THEN WE GOT CHARGED FOR THE EXTRA MARINARA!!!! The Cheese Fries were really, really good. Got the main dishes, food was pretty good. But, they also took another solid 20 minutes. But overall, WOW - this took FOR E VER. Fix your kitchen, fix your staff, whatever - this was ridiculous.

I am in love with this place!! The staff is super friendly and attentive. Even when it is busy they are on top of it. Beer selection is ample and happy hour prices rock, especially for what you often pay in ski towns. The downstairs, chill atmosphere reminds me of hanging out a friend's place. The crowd has been fun everytime I have been in Ollie's. The food is great and they were fantastic about my dietary needs. It is nicer than bar food, and their fries are crispy and yummy!! All the veggies were fresh and tasty. My boyfriend also has enjoyed everything he has gotten there too. There is a great boxing game that always provides entertainment as well as other games and tons of sports on all their TVs. This is the place to hang out when you are in Breck!!

Best place to watch sports in town. On wednesday, they have $2 burgers, with 50 cent add-ons for toppings. Every other night, they have a drink and/or food special. I enjoy watching games here, because they use the television's sound instead of music...although over the years I have gotten quite good at reading Kirk Herbstreit's lips. Local Tip: Park in the F Lot or Tiger Dredge Lot and walk across the bridge.

Ate here over this past ski season. Awesome awesome place. Great food, seriously fun bar and amazing service. As good if not better than their Frisco location which is also a tight hang out spot. Keep it up OPG!

I've only been to Ollie's once when I was in Breckenridge on vacation so I don't have to much of a history here. I can say that the IPA's on tap are very good; if you like hops, you'll enjoy these IPAs. Additionally, their nacho platter is huge and delicious, packed with all sorts of goodness. If I find myself back in Breckenridge, I'll definitely make a return visit to Ollie's. I'm a fan.

Just finished a great meal at Ollie's. This establishment is the best for food and service that we visited on our trip. Jessica was our server. She was polite, courteous and helpful. The food was excellent and the service was quick. 2 in our party had the ahi tacos. one had the ahi sandwich, one had the pulled pork sandwich and one had the turkey sandwich. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Be sure to visit Ollie's and ask for Jessica.

I came here with long time friends and this was a perfect start to a blurry night! Stephanie was our awesome ninja server. Lock, stocked and it was excellent service. The food was the jam! I got the Rueben which I must safely say is a good determining factor for pub grub and it was basically perfect. Crispy bread, good kraut and not too salty pastrami. Another bud got the nachos and it was a gracious serving of feed everyone at the table. Another note was that Stephanie was ridiculously knowledgable and gave us great suggestions on beers. The atmosphere is also really chillax as well which is perfect for a great set of conversations or mingling with the locals. Definitely returning!

If you are into bars located in the basement of buildings, where you can escape the heat, and kick back and have a cold brewski...than this is your place. Located in the middle of Main st. in Breckenridge Colorado, this little dungeon allures its beer drinkers in with at least 15-20 Colorado beers on tap. Whether you want something from Breckenridge Brewery, or something hoppy from Boulder, this place has many choices for you to sip on. Not only is their wide variety of beer a plus. They make themselves stand out even more by having a huge menu with many different types of fare to choose from. Me and my lady friend decided to stuff our faces with the jalapeno artichoke dip, which comes with a lavish array of dipping options, from pita to carrots, celery, or even chips. I can gladly testify that I will be making my way back to Ollie's pub and grub. Did I mention our server had some weird six sense or mind reading skill where she knew exactly what and when she could get us something. Weird. I suggest anyone take a break from Breck's intense shopping experience, and stop and have a cold one to top off your day. Kudos.

Happy hour favorite of locals, a few good beers on tap, service is a little slow, bartenders were busy socializing amongst themselves, I had to wave one down with money to get her to come over.. I was sitting at the bar... Don't expect fancy cocktails, just beer and simple drinks.

A great place to watch a game if you can find a seat as it fills up fast. Good beer specials during games and margarita specials as well. Bar staff were friendly and quick delivering a new drink.

It's alright, I don't think it's the best food. Nachos and quesadilla are safe options. Beer was cheap, and that made up for the food. You can have a good time here, throw a few back and not worry about it costing a fortune.

Came here this summer and was NOT impressed! The Margarita's were the worst I have EVER had in my entire life......our waitress forgot about us when a large group came in. Luckily the guy who brought us our food was kind enough to get us anything else we needed (but charged extra for side dressing)......but the waitress disappeared until it was time to pay the check...the group behind us got their app after their main food came and they seemed a bitt PO'ed as well.

Very cool spot to stop in and have a beer. They serve several local brews. Their menu consist of the typical bar food, but it's definately worth stopping in for a game of pool or foosball. I'll stop there again on my next trip.

We were here in the summer. We came on 2 dollar burger night but missed the burgers by a few minutes but they looked well worth it. reasonable priced and appeared to be where all the young transplants seems to hang out and drink. very college bar feel to it with but more laid back I suppose. Good tv setup to watch games. Looks like they have a lot of good specials throughout the week.

We went for lunch and it was not busy. I had the chili sauce with chicken and rice noodles which they said would be gluten free and I had no problems with it. It was however extremely spicy but very tasty. I managed to eat half of it before my mouth just couldn't take it any more. My husband, who loves loves spicy even had a hard time with it. Son had a sandwhich of some sort and said it was very good. Husband shared mine and had a couple of beers. Atmosphere was casual and not very interesting. They do have foosball, and other video games to play.

Maybe it was because I was hungover, maybe it was because they were having a bad day(I wouldn't know since it was my first time here) or maybe they're just not that good, but I really didn't care for anything on our table except for the fries. I ordered the blackened fish burrito and ended up picking all the fish out. It definitely wasn't blackened. And does tilapia taste fishy? I didn't think that was possible but it definitely did in my burrito so out you go fishy fish. The burrito filling itself was pretty good and that's what I ate with fries, yeah, that's right. Don't judge. My friend ordered the pulled pork sandwich and that's what it was. Nothing too special about it. The other guest at the table had the burger and it just looked sad. It didn't appear to be hand pattied or juicy. I was disappointed as I recommended this place based on other reviews...lesson learned I guess. On the plus side, the service was friendly and there were a lot of beers on tap.

Good food, strong drinks, good service. It was a busy night for Monday night football but the service was fast. The waitress warned us that the kitchen was a little backed up so to get our food orders in whenever we were ready but the wait on our food was not long at all and it was really good! Waitress was very attentive and very nice, great service for such a busy night.

The staff was extremely nice and attentive. Food was about average for ski town bar food; not great and overpriced. Great selection of beers. The Chicago theme is extremely lame. Nobody cares. This place used to be sort of a dive bar. Now it feels like it's trying to double as a family restaurant and dive bar. It received a makeover and now feels kind of.... chain-ish?

My Favorite bar to visit whenever I'm in Breck! Staff is cool and friendly. Great bar food and a bunch of TV's to watch the game. The great part about the place is you get a mixture of locals and tourist. I always end up meeting cool people when I sit down for a pint of bitter or 10!

Good bar food, good beer, great fries, but avoid the Breckenridge Breeze or sweet tea specialty alchol drinks on the menu. The first was barely drinkable and the second not even close. Hopefully it was just an off day for the bartender.

7 of us went here for dinner. Fairly typical pub ambience. Good service, nice attentive personable wait staff. FANTASTIC fried mushrooms. Gyro platter was good, burgers were good, baked Mac & cheese good, chicken Parmesan sandwich was great, so the chicken tenders would be too. Fairly inexpensive. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stopped here twice on our trip to Breckenridge. One for beers in the late afternoon, a second time for burgers in the evening. Ollie's is a spacious restaurant, with a gigantic bar area and a bunch of tables surrounding the area. This place got pretty busy in the evening (there was a pretty long wait for tables given the number of people standing around). I was mostly impressed with the tap and drink selection at Ollie's. They had maybe a dozen options on tap, mostly Colorado beers with some decent picks from out-of-state as well. The bartenders were pretty talkative, it was clear both times we were there that there was a pretty healthy regular contingent (which surprised me given that this place is obviously a vacation destination, too). I ordered a burger the second time I went back. The portion size was impressive, the burger itself was solid (but not mind-blowingly amazing) I'd definitely recommend to beer fans or folks looking for a big burger after a day on the slopes.

Ollies pub n grub, my hat is off to you!!! We came in last nite, for a simple little NYE bite to eat and a beer after a long day on the mtn. Ollies delivered in every way possible! The decor and vibe is nice and lively! Has that nice mtn/cabin feel with all the rough cut wood work. Our waitress was nice, and polite and gave us some great recommendations. We tried a basket of chicken tenders and I had the old chub nitro stout which was really great. So good i went for a second one. The fries that came with it were really good. The cost was reasonable too.

Standout service - called 10-15 minutes before going to Ollie's on Christmas Eve, and they were able to accommodate a party of 10 with barely any wait. What more, when we arrived, they had the huge table prepared for us with waters on the table. My fave drink was the rotating cider, which was one of the best ciders I've ever tasted. The cider they offered at the time as visited was the Rocky Mountain Wild Cider from Firestone, CO. The alcoholic content was not palpable, and it actually tasted like sparkling cider. After trying the Colorado Kolsch, brewed by Steamworks Brewing in Durango, CO, it was readily apparent that I far preferred the rotating cider. Not quite sure when and how long happy hour is, but each drink on tap is $3.50. What a steal. My fave appetizer (out of the fried pickles, onion rings, buffalo chicken wings, barbecue chicken wings, chicken tenders, and buffalo meatballs) was the buffalo chicken wings, which definitely packs a spicy punch. As per usual, it comes with plentiful carrots and celery sticks. The fried pickles were definitely cut too thick for my liking and way too salty. The onion rings are a good order if you have many people to share it with; I liked the sauces that it came with. I did not try the barbecue chicken wings because I far preferred the buffalo chicken wings. The chicken tenders were tasty when I was hungry, but the tenders to fries ratio skewed heavily to fries instead of tenders. The buffalo meatballs were doused in marinara sauce, and it was pretty good. Most of our party ordered the DIY burgers for "burger night." Price point wise, it's actually more worth it than ordering a pre-made burger from the menu. I liked how the customer gets to customize his or her burger, down to the toppings and dressing. Unfortunately, the bison meat was far too dry, especially during the last few bites. If I were to do burger night again, I would probably save a few bucks and opt for regular beef rather than bison meat. Overall, a divey, local watering hole on the main street in Breckenridge. It's got a very comforting, home-town feel. So good we came here twice in the span of four days.

Had the pretzels/cheese here and had 3 orders total. They were that good. I have to say though, this is definitely a strong hangout spot for locals and they're not too welcoming to the tourists. Actually had some guy roll his eyes at me when he heard I wasn't from the area. Really rubbed me the wrong way. Bartenders were friendly so I wouldn't write the place off my list.

Stopped in today to have a beer while I plotted my lunch plans. Once I checked Yelp and saw the rating and reviews, I figured I might as well stay put. And I'm glad I did. I started out with a wheat beer from Durango, CO while I perused the ample selections of food. Ollie's touts itself as the best burger in Breck, so I focused on those. I finally selected the Buffalo Blue, a burger topped with lettuce, tomato, blue cheese crumbles, and a buffalo blue cheese dressing. I ordered the burger medium and they actually served it - medium! Very nice! The bartender was a great guy, very friendly, and greeted each guest as they entered. This was a nice place to kill some time. I'm glad I stayed.

Service was good. Lots of people. Didn't get to have a great experience because since it was so crowded I only was able to sit at a long wooden "table". I really don't know the name of this thing... It's one of those shelf-like things against a wall where you place your drinks and it might have had hooks under it. Do you know what I'm talking about? There were stools, but they didn't have backs so I was pretty uncomfortable with my bad posture and zero support. Also, I kept forgetting they didn't have backs, so I leaned back a couple times and was temporarily surprised. I think I ordered the potato skins, and they were ok but nothing special. I had to turn my head sideways the whole time to watch the tv... Was pretty uncomfortable so I left pretty quickly. The waitress was attentive though, even though it was busy. She also suggested a drink and I ended up really liking it.

This is my first review as a "yelper" and I'm excited this place has the honors. It's actually my 2nd time eating here but the first time our buddy got severe altitude sickness and we had to leave early. Even then, we still ordered the same appetizers; Mini Chimichangas and loaded Nachos! The Chimichangas were my favorite!! There is a great beer selection that only lists beer brewed in Colorado. Sweet! There is a different Happy Hour everyday and the staff is friendly. Some nights there is Live music and check the corner for the arcade games. Don't miss the door on your walk over! It's easy to miss but you shouldn't forget it. Enjoy!

What a great find while on my last snowboarding trip! I was there during a crazy busy weekend, and managed to snag a seat in the back along the wall. Although it was a little cramped for space, it was plenty of room to eat and enjoy a few beers. I LOVED the laid back feel of this bar. The waitress was super friendly and attentive. she gave great beer and food recommendations. This is BY FAR some of the best food I've ever had a bar. My friend ordered the nachos and I ordered some california burger (?)... the waitress had recommended it... and it was amazing and just melted in my mouth. OK so I had been snowboarding all day and hadn't eaten, so maybe that had something to do with how amazing I thought it was, but regardless, I will have to come back next time in town. Between having on the football game, to fooseball tables, photobooth, amazing waitress and just a chill atmosphere, I will definitely have to come back next time I'm in town.

Great burger joint! (Ok, I went to the "best burger joint in town" ON BURGER NIGHT!!, so my opinion might be skewed) but it was awesome!! Quick, exact service. The burger/beer was phenomenal!! I built my own "burger from hell" :D My only neutral comment would be watch out on the sauces.. I really like spicy foods, and the mango habanero sauce took me to spicy heaven and back again. I honestly wasn't prepared for how spicy it was, but after a momentary pleasant surprise, it was awesomeness all the way. If I'm ever back in town, I WILL be back!

We called yesterday to forewarn that we would have a party of 11 coming in for a 30th birthday at 7:30. We were told they did not take reservations but it should be "no problem to get in." When we arrived, we were told it would be 30-40 minutes--- no big deal. It was over an hour to be seated. When we were finally seated, they put us at two separate tables. We waited 15 minutes, and finally I went to ask if we had a waiter. I was informed that "that girl right there" was our waitress. I asked the gentleman if I could "express some displeasure and not be bitchy" and informed him of our experience. He said, after asking me "how long after we called before we came down" and telling me he could have sat us at the same table but we would have had to wait longer that "It's Breckenridge, I don't know what you expect." Apparently, he is the manager. Way to manage, manager. Apparently a little halfway decent service is too much to ask. Luckily, my friend is enjoying her 30th birthday, despite the spectacular management at this fine establishment. Didn't trust the rude attitude I got to order food. Oh, and there was no toilet paper in the dirty bathroom, but hey--- it's Breck, and apparently that's to be expected at Ollie's.

I have not had their food, but Ollie's is a great place for some drinks. Large selection of beers, plenty of cocktails, and a large space that can hold tons and tons of people so you don't feel crammed. Prices are reasonable and the staff is very fast and friendly

Great bar; however terrible managerial service. I went to this bar with my friends and we loved watching the Super Bowl here, we had great service from Morgan, she was a fabulous waitress. At the end of the night we were asked to pay a fee for reserving a table during the game, we were confused because we were never told there was a fee. We asked the waitress about the fee and she referred us to the manager, he automatically accused us of lying and was extremely rude. I understand that there was a fee for the table during the Super Bowl, but wish we had been informed about that before we made the reservation. Since he was accusatory and unapologetic we were completely disgusted by the service from the manager Mac. He was completely dismissive and rude. When I worked at a restaurant for 5 years the customer was always right, and if the I had treated a customer the way Mac treated us, I would have been fired on the spot. It was a very disappointing experience for a fun bar and because of this experience I will not be going back in the future.

We came here during Mud Season in September and it had more people than some of the other places on Main street. It was loud, but very welcoming and the bartender was quick to take our order and make recommendations. We didn't order any food but the people around us did and it looked delicious. Decent place for a group and nice atmosphere to break the ice whether there are 2 in your group or 8. Thanks for a fun night -

To say that Ollie's provides good bar food or a friendly atmosphere is the Acme of understatements. If your looking for the quintessential ski town pub atmosphere THIS IS IT! The mere entrance, which is an incognito entrance off of Main Street to the underground establishment gives you the sense that you are entering into a secret hangout known only to the 'hip' locals. The real experience is all that & more as you are greeted by a friendly waitstaff & locals at the bar. The menu strikes as typical bar fare but the ingredients & preparation go far beyond what you are expecting. For instance, at my most recent visit I ordered the nacho plate. In other restaurants I wouldn't dare make this purchase as I am frequently disappointed by soggy chips straight from the bag, jalapeños fresh from the can & greasy flavorless shredded beef thrown into a messy greasy pile & finished off with Velveeta in the microwave. Ollie's prepared a dish with fresh made chips, deliciously braised pork & other fresh ingredients; enough to feed four hungry patrons. Couple this with wonderful sandwiches, burgers, appetizers, perfectly cooked fries, strong mixed drinks & tasty local microbrews & you have one of the best dining experiences in Breckenridge. Do NOT cheat yourself by passing by Ollie's.

Walked in by chance after a day of hiking nearby, needless to say we were in need of hearty food and a warm place to enjoy some beverages. When we walked in, we got a friendly greeting from the bartender who told us to sit anywhere. The server was genuinely friendly and provided quick service. We came in on a Wednesday which was 2 dollar burger night, and happy hour was $3.50 colorado crafts on draft and $3.00 wells. They have a lot on tap and a pretty large wrap-around bar. Plenty of seating with cool wooden tables, some old school video games, not to mention the bluegrass and Phish that was being played. It all made for a great authentic pub atmosphere and proved to be exactly what we were looking for. I started out splitting some fried pickles with a friend and got a burger with a fried egg, mushrooms, bbq sauce, and of course, bacon. The pickles were quite the sizable pile, so I unfortunately wasn't able to finish the burger, but took the rest home (mmmm, re-heated burger) (don't knock it till you try it). If you're wondering around Breckenridge looking for a cool place to eat and drink, go no further than Ollies!

Somehow we've overlooked this stop on previous trips to Breck. We stopped in after a long hike with ravenous children. We had a very sweet and accommodating waitress. She was awesome with our three-yr old. We tried the fried pickles and they were delicious. The chili-cheese dogs were surprisingly tasty. We also had the mini chicken chimichangas and that was probably the only think we wouldn't order again. We left happy and satisfied.

Gets four stars because it's a Blackhawks/Chicago bar in Colorado! Go Hawks!

The service we had was the worst I've ever experienced. I will here note that the place was packed. However, when it takes our food over an hour and a half to get out I'd expect to at least have Blake, our server, to ask me what I'd like to drink. I literally had no glass in front of me the entire two hours we were in there. Granted, I could've told him when I ordered, and I could've gone to the bar. However, I forgot when I ordered, and I just wanted to see if he'd ever notice. We never got an update on the food and were generally avoided the entire night. When I told Blake that I never got asked for a drink or that the service was bad (this was also after he didn't bring me change for the check) he said "Why didn't you flag me down?" I can understand that if I was wanting something soon or out of the ordinary, but the fact that he never noticed the horrible service he gave is appalling. I hope management recognized his complete ineptitude at his job. Also, gratuity was included. Dammit.

Ollie's is a great mix of locals & tourists. Very good daily specials from drinks - food (weds is $2 burger day). The bartenders and servers are very friendly. The best thing about Ollie's is the beer selection and food quality. I love the food there from the All Chopped Up Salad to Wraps/fries. Definitely a place to go while in Breck.

Great little gem. Solid (not amazing) beer selection. Maybe 15-20? Food- hamburger was delicious, nachos were also very good (and huge portion) Our server was excellent. Atmosphere is very laid back and very nice. Great place for a beer or to watch a sports game. I'd give it 5 stars but I reserve that for truly remarkable places ( like Umami in NYC!)

This is a cozy cottage type basement feel bar with good service and good food. Some ol skool video games like ms. Pac man to have a little fun. Reminds you of locals place although I'm not sure of this. Ice cold beer and they keep em coming!

Called to make a reservation for 8 people for the super bowl. Awesome table, great service, and as it came time for the tab we were hit with a $120 table charge. When we made the reservation, Mac, the manager, never told us there would be a table charge. My group would have been more than happy to pay the charge and would have made the reservation for the table anyway. When we talked to the waitress and the manager about the fact that it was never brought up to us, they were both extremely defensive, rude, unaccommodating, and unapologetic. We were happy to pay as the experience and food was great, but I will never return to this bar as long as that manager works for them.

I went to Ollie's after the Ullr Day Parade with some friends on the University of Illinois ski and snowboard trip, and although it was crowded the service was prompt and the food was great. We ordered the fried pickles and onion rings to share and I had the Dillon Valley burger, which was perfectly cooked and very tasty. I agree that Ollie's has the best burgers in Breck, and I'll be back to eat the next time I'm in town!

Off season + Weekday + Mid-afternoon = Perfect. Our table of six pretty much had the place to ourselves. Nice selection of craft beers. The Loaded Nachos were a good start. Tortilla chips smothered with pepper jack cheese, black olives, jalapeños, queso, black beans and corn. Four in our party went with the Colorado Dip as suggested by the server. Wrong move. Everyone agreed that the shaved sirloin" tasted a lot like Steak-Umm. Meh. The Steak Fajita Hoagie came with the same "shaved sirloin". Once again, meh. I was fortunate enough to go with the Dillon Valley Burger and it was killer. Burger with lettuce, red onion, pickle, pepper jack cheese, jalapeño, chipotle mayo, guacamole and crunchy tortilla strips. Everyone wanted whatever morsels I would toss their way. The server did say they had awesome burgers and if the Dillon Valley was indicative, she didn't miss the mark with that suggestion. Service was attentive. She kept our beer and water flowing, pre-bussed the table and checked on us frequently. Nice rest stop in our drive through the mountains.

I like a place that treats you like a regular on your second night in town...we'll credit Handsome for that. Yes, we started calling our bartender Handsome because we couldn't seem to remember his name...a few too many Milk Stouts has that affect on a girl. What makes this place so awesome is not the mediocre food but the atmosphere. If you like to chill at a bar and randomly sing along to the music, go right ahead. If you want to appreciate the ability to just make your own dance floor wherever you are because the mood strikes you, please do. If you want to make conversation with all sorts of folks, do it. If you like to laugh at ridiculously drunken messes of people, then this is your place. Sang aloud to tunes, danced with strangers, laughed at messes, met some folks. Great service. Decent prices. Perfect location.

Ollie's is a great place to get off the street and away from the Main St. Crowd. Leaps and bounds better than another not to be named basement bar. Local dive'y feel that in no way caters to the touristy crowd! My kind of place. Great Beer, Great Food, Good staff and all kinds of sports on the TV. Soccer, Baseball, Hockey, Hoop...they've got it all. As well as a cool dive bar'y feel. It's comfortable here and you can spend hours chatting with strangers. In fact it was so comfortable that I was hesitant to order food. I had the Chili Mac n Cheese and it was tremendous. Awesome! Ollie's is in my 5 places to go every time I'm in Breck.

Our waitress disappeared for most of the time we were there. Most of us didn't even bother to order a second drink since service we would've waited ages. I don't know if she had a crappy day or what, but the waitress gave us the vibe that she didn't want to wait on us, so we eventually took our business elsewhere. There are bars around Breckenridge with better service than this place. I suggest Absinthe Bar (although I'm not a fan of absinthe). There are other drinks you can order at the bar. The waitress was knowledgeable, personable, friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere is great and the people seem wonderful.

If you enjoy bartenders who seem to be bothered to wait on you, and then talk you out of a more expensive drink, tell you they don't carry a specific type of booze even though it states clearly on the drink menu that they supply it, this place is for you! No thanks. We were passing through, hoping to grab a couple drinks, and a snack; we left after a beer.

Good divey sports bar with a great beer selection. Gets crowded, but one of the better spots in town to grab drinks. Seems to get a good mix of locals and skiers. Fried pickle chips are tasty too...

During the day- friendly bartenders, good happy hour specials and great beer on tap. 5 stars! At night- I waited at the bar for 20 minutes to get a drink. People around me were served and despite multiple attempts to get the blonde bartender's attention, it never happened. Plus everyone working behind the bar seemed to have a really shitty attitude, and the place was packed full of bros. Next time I'll pass...

Chill atmosphere and great food. Love the Italian beef and steak sandwich. There are TVs all over the bar, and wherever you sit, you'll be able to see one. I'll be back, especially for the NFL Sunday.

I never knew about Ollie's for 4 years, until one of my ski buddies told me about it. His old ski house used to be a block away so he ended up being a regular here. It's a cool little bar. They have great margaritas for $4 during happy hour. Their pickle chips and mushrooms had light breeding and were great, better than most other places I've been to. The fries were crispy and perfectly salted; which I find to be something rare these days (too many places I go to have simple 'ok' fries) Would come back for sure for some grub and libations after snowboarding.

Burgers were great, Chili Mac was great, the service was good, the appetizers were great. They have a diverse menu which makes us want to go back again to try it all! We loved it. We are usually weary of food on Main St. Breck but it really surprised us and proved us wrong.

I came here with a friend as a celebration lunch after climbing Mt. Sherman. I believe I ordered their spicy burger, though I ate it so fast I don't remember exactly what was on it. Cool atmosphere, kinda hidden since it's in a basement, and an empty plate. When I'm looking for post 14er restaurants, a place like this checks all the boxes. I don't come to Breck often, but I may consider stopping here again next summer if I climb Quandary again or try the 4 pack with Lincoln and friends.

This is an awesome laid back gem in downtown breck. I came here on a saturday night after skiing and checking out the dew tour. Needless to say everywhere was crowded, including Ollie's. Even with the crowd, and a cowboys game going on the host was able to get us seated within 10min, bravo! The bar has a bit of a Chicago theme - Hawks/Bulls/Cubs/etc flags and memorabilia ont he walls and such. Some of the servers/bartenders had various midwest team hats on also. Kinda made me feel at home. Its a pretty typical laid back sports bar.. though their tap list is a bit better than the usual. Lots of great colorado beers on tap. Our server was super stressed out, it must have been one of their busiest days in a while. She was running around like mad... she did neglect us a bit, but wasnt too bad. We were able to order some appetizers and food, all of which came out in good time. For the apps we had some fried pickles and cheesy salty balls. Both are awesome, especially the fried pickles...some of the best I have had in a while. I had the mother clucker sandwich - a buffalo chicken sandwich with blue cheese dressing and crumbles along with tomato/lettuce. It was served on a hoagie style bun instead of the usual burger bun. Very awesome! And the best part? CURLY FRIES!!! Im talking like as good as arbys, yeah! So after dinner as the night wore on a bit some of the more buzzed bros decided to start testing out their manhood on the punching bag game. This was hilarious, they even got some girls to join in after buying them drinks lol... They also have a few other games and even a foosball table. Overall a great spot, I will definitely be coming back when I am out in Breck next time.

Fun college type sports bar. Great place to watch football. The vibe was really fun, the menu is varied and not the typical bar food. Beers were cold and kept coming at the pace that made us happy. It was a short walk from our condo even though it was downhill! Fun staff and good experience overall. Check it out!

    (4)
  • Kara C.

A great spot to get together with friends after a hard day on the slopes. + photobooth + lots of TVs showing sports games and highlights + punching bag video game + NBA Jam video game!!! + great jalapeno artichoke dip + jukebox with the ability to play songs directly from your phone via an app + good beer selection at the right price and you can get pitchers!

During my 2nd Breck visit, this place was more of my type of joint to relax and grab a brew and food. I enjoyed the atmosphere much better than I did at the Breck Brewery. Nice beer selection. The Cajun Chicken Sandwich was awesome. I also tried the potato skins which were loaded and very good as well. Tried some of my friends' loaded nachos and they were good as well. Afterwards I kicked @ss in pool. :) I will definitely try this joint again when I return to Breck. Count on it.

We saw the sign that said Best Burgers in Breck and figured we would give them a try. We took our 4 and 5 year old with us. It is a seat yourself restaurant and the server showed up right after we sat down with water for all and kids cups. That's a great first impression. We had the Thai chili wings and the Hawaiian burger. Big meaty wings and the sauce was fantastic. The burger was cooked to order and delicious. They have a great craft beer menu and the server made some great recommendations. This will now be a regular dinner place for us when in Breckenridge.

We had a great time coming here after snowboarding. This is like the local neighborhood sports bar. Lots of TVs here if you're coming to watch the game, and Foos ball, and different arcade games around as well. I had the ahi tuna salad, my friends had the ahi tuna sandwich, the Gyro, and the Thai vegetable bowl. The fish was so amazing. It was fresh, cooked perfectly, and came with a big portion. They also have a very selective draft beer list, which are all local beers-$5.50. This is a great neighborhood spot to come to, grab a drink and some food, and watch the game or kick back and talk with friends.

    (4)
  • Jay K.

Simply to fricken loud. Yes there was a Broncos game on, but every one of the at least dozen TV's had to have the volume button maxed out. We had one drink and left for a place where we could actually talk, not shout at each other. I can't believe a parent brought a young baby in there with all that noise, what a goofball.

For what it is, a loud sports bar, Ollie's is great! My husband and I each had a burger and we thought they were delicious. We didn't want to spend a ton on dinner and we were dressed rather casual, and Ollie's was perfect. TVs were all over showing a variety of games. They have a great craft beer selection too!

    (5)
  • Ann E.

Had dinner at Ollie's tonight. Started with a beer. All their draft beer is from Colorado-fine with me. I had a Chopped Up Salad which was delicious. Lots of chicken and avocado. My husband had the Vegetable Rice Bowl. He said he wanted more rice to go with it-our server brought it immediately. He was happy with it. I would recommend going to Ollie's for good dining experience and good service.

Absolutely horrible service. I'll say when Jersey was there the service was awesome. He does a great job every time. By this the Second time I've spent over $300 total dollars here as a 5 year local and had to YELL AND PRACTICALLY beg for a beer. Then, the bartender, Jessica ran us down for a bigger tip because it wasn't to her satisfaction. Well, I didn't tip well because she was by far the worst bartender I've ever had. I've never had someone ignore such a high spender because we weren't in her "circle". I tip 25% at least when the service is good. I've worked in the business and understand you live off tips. overall another bad experience that I'll share with all the tourist. Fix the problem and the problem is problematic bartenders. .

    (1)
  • Hans M.

Food was pretty good, not bad, but not super tasty overall. Good atmosphere. The service was slightly below average in my opinion. Had to wait a long time to take order and deliver check. Many TVs with all the games on. Looks like a good cocktail list as well.

  • Michael R.

Went in because of the $3 burger special on Wednesdays (base price is $3, only free topping is lettuce). Burger isnt really that good of a deal unless you are a plain burger person. Was not tasty either. Dry and unseasoned. Service was good. However, I would definitely recommend somewhere else if looking for "Breck's Best Burger".

    (3)
  • Amanda T.

A really good burger! Don't go on $3 burger nights, you will likely wait for an hour for a table. Bar drinks are not great so don't waste your money. Fun place for a small group.

  • Katherine M.

I came here for lunch and I could see how it may be good as a late night spot, but not for a meal. There are a lot of burger, salad and sandwich options as well as heartier meals and the portions are generous. However, the food itself was just ok. The service was a little slow even for 2 in the afternoon on a weekday, although the waitress was very sweet. Finally, the restaurant was a little dirty. There were several tables that where the plates were not cleared during the entire lunch. There are many restaurants in this area and it may be advisable to select a different option.

  • Ryan R.

Multiple local beers on tap. Downtown location. Bar food. Not too hard to be a winner here. The bartender was friendly and interactive, but it seemed like it took about 15-20 minutes to get our artichoke jalapeno dip appetizer. Once received, the appetizer was excellent. We decided to order the mac and cheese with bacon and meatballs. The meatballs were mediocre (not flavorable, weird texture, and bland taste) at best, but the mac and cheese with bacon was great. This is a great place to go mid afternoon for a beer and a snack. I don't think I'd stop here for dinner, though.

Ollies was such a pleasant surprise. We wandered all over Breckenridge on a Monday night and most places were closed. Ollies looked a bit too 'sports bar', but we chanced it after the staff at Thaddeo's was to rude to deal with. The food at ollies was delicious, very fresh and incredibly cheap restive to everywhere else. And to top it off, the service was exceptional. Our very sweet waitress Liz was a pleasure to deal with and she took very good care of us, despite being very busy. Ollies is very recommended if you want great, inexpensive food and perfect service.

Horrible service and very rude bartender by the name of Megan. Will never go back and strongly discourage anyone to frequent here. It's unfortunate that a paying customer is subject to verbal abuse by a bartender and other staff. Thanks to local police for listening and understanding.

Stopped in here for lunch with my family. Food was amazing, but the service was not so great. After sitting at a table for 10-15 minutes in a somewhat empty restaurant, we finally went to ask if we could order. Our server, Savannah, seemed annoyed from the beginning and hardly spoke to us. She kept rolling her eyes when we asked for a plate for one of the kids or a different salad dressing. Maybe she was having a bad day, but it made our lunch experience a pretty bad one. We felt very unwelcomed, which is too bad since we were so excited to try this place!

I am not sure I have ever had as much fun at a bar as I did one night at Ollie's. The kind of night that can only happen when you go out with no expectations with a great group of people. I am not sure if it was the games, the "all you can drink" special, or being the only ones who were not 'locals' but I feel like we turned this bar upside down in the best way possible. When we got there is was kind of dead but we bought the "all you can drink" bracelets and got after it. Played 20 American Dollars worth of games and jukebox favorites, you are welcome for all the 90's hits and Ja Rule!! I am not sure when it happened but we walked back into the main room and the place had exploded!! It looked like "oh this is where all the lifties come once they are off work" bros everywhere! They had a tiny dance floor going which we took full advantage of, it was just like a high school mixer and playing the same songs they were in 2005, which made it even better! We stayed there all night, dancing on the tables, drinking our fill, smiling, laughing, and making wonderful 'vacation' friends. We truly seemed to be the only ones in the place who did not live in Frisco or Breck! Thank you to the staff for putting on such a party! Everyone was great; the door, the bartenders, and all the people there! So much fun!!

  • Claire R.

To start, the atmosphere here was LOUD. Like loud, loud. Like could hardly hear the people sitting across the table loud. But it's a bar during the world cup, so... Onto the food. I ordered the macaroni and cheese with no add ons. So good. The sauce was creamy and rich with flavor. The sauce also had some kind of pepper (jalepeno?) in it that added a nice kick and nice flavor. The dish was served with two large pieces of garlic bread, which was also very good. The bread itself was good and they didn't overload the bread with garlic. Yum.

Excellent burger, nice and juicy, everything you could want in one. Pickle chips were fried to perfection, fries were good too. One of the better burgers I've eaten and couldn't recommend it more. If you're ever in Breckinridge this is the place to stop in for american food.

This place was one of our favorite go to spots for drinks in the late night! Music was great and atmosphere was fun. Staff was very prompt with taking orders and friendly as well. We ate here for dinner once and was pleased. Good bar food and not too pricey!

Food is great! Definitely lives up to its name of best burgers! However initial walk in reaction is dive, dark, dirty, rowdy, loud, and full of young kids. The dining area is small but a ton of tvs great for games. Service was great!

A cool little bar on Main. I enjoyed trying out some of the beers. It seems like the majority of the small bars (such as this one) have a very similar beer selection. I love to drink local brews when I travel. I seemed to run out of them after visiting a couple bars. No complaints, small town, not too many microbreweries in the area. Just kind of a bummer. Our server was very friendly and was fast. We had a bout 6 people at a 4 top and she handled us without a hitch. She recommended some good drinks for the girls at our table. Overall, a good place to grab a beer after a day on the slopes.

Great casual stop for food and beverage. We stopped after 3 days of camping - casual atmosphere, game room, reasonable service. Kids loved the game room - we loved that they were occupied while waiting for the food. Server was quiet but polite and attentive. I ordered the southwestern salad. Was ok - had cucumbers in it (odd) and very light dressing (ok). Hubby got pork tacos - were fine but shells weren't cooked right so he couldn't pick them up. Kids liked their food too. Wasn't overly impressed but will stop again.

Great for game watching. Lots of TV's and lots of space. The food was okay. Basically just typical bar food, but we only had appetizers. The beer list is extensive; which is a must when watching a game. We enjoyed our time there watching the game. The only pitfall I really found was that the seats were pretty damn uncomfortable. My rear-end got tired sitting there for so long.

Great beer selection on tap and everyone working is always friendly and attentive. A bit on the loud side if you are over the age of 21, but, hey, it's always nice to pretend you are in college again from time to time. :)

  • Jani M.

Great food, great service. I give it four stars instead of five for two reasons: parking is horrible in that area and there are long waits for a table - the bar/restaurant doesn't seem big enough for the large number of people it attracts. I realize the parking situation is more of a downtown Breckenridge problem, but it is a big issue that the city needs to address.

Ollie's is a great happy hour spot. The bartenders are very attentive and helpful with making suggestions. Their local beer draught selection is awesome! I tasted several of the beers and loved them all. They were giving samples by request. My husband, dad and I also shared the pretzel appetizer, which was so delicious.

We called to ask about a large party for a birthday the following night and we're told they don't take reservations, understandable, but that we "shouldn't have a problem getting a table." However, upon showing up and telling them we had a party of 11, we waited nearly twice what was quoted and then seated at two different tables. We weren't even asked if that was something we'd be cool with or if we preferred to wait a bit longer for a table together. So much for celebrating a friend's birthday as a group. After being seated, we waited almost 15 minutes to even be acknowledged by our server. I have waitressed for many restaurants; I get being busy on a weekend. But not even stopping by with a "I'll be right with you" is really rude and, frankly, poor service. One of our party found a manager to inquire about the service and the strange seating arrangement and was rudely brushed off told, "I don't know what you expect. This is Breckenridge." No ideas about fixing the problem or any concern over poor service by the employees whatsoever. A truly inspired way to run a business. I haven't even had my food yet but there's no way it's good enough to make up for such a terrible experience and such rude employees. Go somewhere else. Update: the bacon in the BLT is too rubbery to bite through (which makes me want to cry because I LOVE bacon) and the bathrooms are filthy. 0/10
