Fun upbeat casual place w way better than avg "bar" food and pizza, plus even great dinners and specials! Great value and choice for easy going fun lunch dinner or just a drink (or 2)! Cool staff great service. Lots of locals hang out here...should tell you something!

Great local Breckenridge flavor. Awesome décor. Wait staff was friendly. Kitchen was super slow. Very slow. It wasn't terribly busy either. At least there was fresh brewed iced tea to keep me hydrated and caffeinated. One can tell a lot about a restaurant by their iced tea. I did have the largest gyro in my life; packed full of lamb and mint and basil and more. It was a homemade gyro loaf yo! It was tasty. The meat sauce for the spaghetti was a tad thin and an extra side of sauce was ordered. Try Fatty's if you can. You'll be glad you did methinks.

I've ordered breakfast to go from Fattys multiple times, and it is delicious! The staff always seems nice, and the food has always been good. I don't drink at Fattys anymore though. I had a few Red Bull and Vodka drinks with my lunch on my last visit. That was a mistake as it was rung up as a full red bull and a separate shot of vodka each time. Had I known each drink would be around $11, I would have definitely passed. Great food, but perhaps not a bar to have some drinks at on a somewhat budget.

Pizza was awesome, service was fantastic. They were accommodating to the kids. Great spot!

This place is a MUST when in Breck! Great food, cheap beer, and the best pizza in town. Fatty's is great for Happy Hour with locals at the bar, or dinner with a large group. There are plenty of flat screens to keep up on sporting events and awesome outside seating when weather permits. Service is always good.

Great food, great atmosphere, great wait staff, great everything. The night I went, it was the night of the College Football Playoff Semifinals and it was PACKED. Waited a while for a table, but not nearly as long as I would've expected. We enjoyed our pizza very much (and the football game almost as much!). I really DO NOT know why Fatty's overall review is so low: This is a great restaurant!

Very cool laid back environment with a fabulous happy hour and great bar food. They probably have great food all around but we were mesmerized by their cheese curds and pizza slices. It's a Breckenridge tradition and has earned it!

Pizza and pastas were great. Noisy and casual but that's ok because we are noisy and casual. :) Kids all got different pizzas. We got shrimp scampi and split. Yummy! Beautiful mountain view from front window. Cold beer. Would definitely visit again!

Prices are pretty good for Breckenridge. The food is ok with a liberal use of butter and cream. The service is friendly. Don't order the Carbonara unless you LOVE butter and oil. Mine had an oil slick on it. The pizza is thin crust and is ok in flavor and fairly priced.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch wanting pasta and the don't have much pasta on the lunch menu so we ordered a pizza and a couple salads. Everything was good and the service was speedy. Not "the best" pizza but good.

In town for business, having dinner with my second family, plenty of parking out front, cozy environment, super friendly waitresses and the food was totally on point! I will be back!

Ordered a large half meat lovers half cheeseburger and a medium BLT. Pizzas were a decent size and had places of crispy/burnt crust due to the cooking method. The meat lovers was our parties favorite but be warned there is a lot of cheese. The cheeseburger pizza had few chunks of meat since they are bigger pieces but one two two per slice was a little lacking but was heavy on the whole tomato slices and too me, the onion. The BLT pizza had a layer of arugula, chunks of bacon, and whole slice tomato with a light ranch drizzle. Like the beef on the other pizza, the bacon chunks were few and far between. It was not our favorite, dry compared to the other pizza and on a piece there was little more than a layer of arugula. Four adults and we had 2 pieces gone from the pie with at least a slice worth on on plates-sad for $23. When the waitress asked us for a box, I told her a small one since we weren't taking the BLT since none us us liked it. She offered no reply- I didn't expect to get it for free or a discount but some reply to our lack of enjoyment would have made the experience better.

Fantastic apple walnut salad. Had done with salmon. And one with chicken. Very tasty. The lettuce is very unique; butter lettuce? Deluxe pizza also ordered and very tasty. Very good atmosphere. Get here early to avoid the crowds for dinner. But well worth the wait.

My favorite pizza place in Breckenridge. They have a really awesome unique pizza called the clam casino that I really like. Staff is always very nice and they have lots of TVs to watch your favorite game on. Get there early if you have a big group as it can get pretty busy around dinner time.

We were told by locals that this was a great place to grab a good burger. It was. Burgers had all kinds of toppings to select. Cooked perfectly, too. Old style sports bar with a family friendly dining area. They have homemade New England clam "chowda" on Fridays. As a native New Englander, I was skeptical. It was very good. Lots of clams and potato chunks. Too much pepper was the only fault. We did not try the pizza.

The temperature was so hot inside that I had to put on basketball shorts during my meal. The power shut off 3 times while I was there.

It was a classic Americano/ Italiano restaurant: delicious pasta and pizza with enormously large servings. It had adorable Christmas decor and a nice feel, though the flickering lights in the parlor were a bit annoying. The food was delicious but rich, so don't be a afraid to ask for a box home for some pre-ski power. This wasn't our first choice for dinner (the recently closed Rasta Pasta was), but it substituted just fine. Don't forget: eat pasta, ski fasta'!

I hate being that guy from NY who says the pizza was okay, but it was okay. The service was great and the place had tons of space. They have a good selection of food and pizza so its good for a group. The food: Pizza was on the doughy side and i never thought i'd say this but had way way to much cheese on it. The wings were not my favorite, temperature was not to hot, and sauce was a bit to sweet Cheese curd was good The food overall was not my favorite but if you need a spot for groups and to kick that pizza craving this is not a bad place to go

Good pizza, good beer, great service. Really good place for pizza in Breckinridge. I only gave it 4 stars because the pizza is quite good, but not outstanding. The service was 5 stars and the beer selection is great. This is the best pizza in Breckinridge.

Love Fattys! The Apple Walnut Salad with Salmon is the best! Their homemade ranch dressing is magic and they have an excellent top shelf margarita. If you can go during their seafood bake season, do it! A huge portion of lobster, crab and crayfish with potatoes and corn. Cheers!

I ate here with friends on my last night in town. The food was good. I had the special burger of the day and it was the size of my head. Very tasty. We also ordered a pizza for the kids but I didn't have any of that. The appetizer wings were good. All in all, the food was good but the service was lacking. The server was friendly but rarely made an appearance to check on us, take our order, or refill drinks. I'd rate this place higher if the service was better.

What a great find! I had the meatball sub, and my mother and boyfriend ordered two of their daily specials. All three of us loved what we ordered. I've been coming to ski at Breck for 25 years and have never found a local joint as great as this one!

  • Liad G.

Had some bread sticks that were good, broccoli chedder soup was the best I ever had! But the pizza was only OK.. Was expecting a thicker and really good pizza, but the appetizers were better.. In my opinion, for a pizza called "fatties", it should be a fat pizza, especially such since the waitress asked if we wanted traditional crust or thin crust.. I can only imaging how thin the thin crushed is... Friendly service.

Fatty's is one of our Go To places while in Breckenridge. They have great pizza, pasta and burgers. Great beers on tap and is just a fun place. It is a block off main so it is usually not as busy as the other establishments also. I can honestly say that we have not had a bad experience here ! They also have a ton of TV's so is a great place to watch the games while eating. I highly recommend Fatty's for lunch or dinner.

Terrific honey and barbecue wings! Quick service, good local flavour. Excellent happy hour prices on Rolling Rock. Meat lovers pizza and artichoke dip are tasty menu items. Would recommend!

  • Britt D.

Those of us from big pizza towns know there's a time and place for different types of pizza. Don't you dare bastardize my Neopolitan pizza with a ton of toppings or too much cheese - but feel free to pile up my deep dish. And good God, NEVER put Ranch dressing on any remotely decent pizza. UNLESS - yes, UNLESS - I'm completely hungover. Then give me the greasiest sloppy slice you can find with extra cheese and a side of ranch. And a root beer float. Thank you Fatty's for saving my Sunday morning, yet again.

Described to me as a places the locals go to, well I can understand why. A nice pub like atmosphere and friendly service. We had clam chowder which was very good and spaghetti with marinara sauce and meatballs. The marinara sauce was clearly home made, fresh tasting and a good consistency. The meatballs, made daily I was told, were fresh and tasted so good we ordered more. Well it isn't a 4 star restaurant but it is a 4 star pizzeria.

Good food, great prices, and excellent views of the mountains. Are server was quick and friendly. The food was fresh and you get a lot for your money. The view is phenomenal...you have unobstructed views of the ski runs.

  • Spencer H.

Food was pretty good, but not great. Only two stars for two reasons: First: a different server was extremely inappropriate and rude to my party. Second: we arrived an hour before closing, and for the last thirty minutes the servers all sat down at tables next to us and counted their tips and talked about their customer experiences. Including the manager, who also seemed to be giving a new server a review two tables away. We could hear every word. Very awkward. Probably avoid this place.

Went to watch Cowboys/Redskins game there last Sunday. Got there at 10:30 game started at 11:00. Waitress put the game on for us and we ordered a big lunch. By then the game was on. I asked the waitress to put the sound on. The manager came by and told me they would only put the sound on for the Broncos. I explained the Broncos don't play till 3:00. He said he knew that, but would only put the sound on for the Broncos. I told them to cancel the order. The waitress apologized. I told her it wasn't her fault. We went to River St. Pub they had every tv on the Cowboy game with the sound on and when I told the manager about what happened at Fatty's not putting the sound on he told me of course they put the sound on. It's Texas week and they make a lot of money off our tourism. We watched the Cowboys then stayed for Broncos game. We had a great time spending our money at another establishment. Moral to the story is...Fatty's needs to understand that Texans contribute a lot to their economy and it would be nice of them to accommodate us during such an important time during football season. All Texans should avoid Fatty's as they seem to be haters. I too was referred by a local shirt shop. I went back the next day and told them it wasn't in their best interest to refer out-of-staters there.

Just ordered a small takeout cheese pizza so review may be taken with grain of salt. Thick crust and lots of cheese. No more no less. Service was fast and pleasant.

Good food, descent beer selection, good service and friendly locals. This is a good place for pizza with kids. They are fairly priced and have good seating options in the bar area with high tops or a separate dinning area to escape some of the noise. Plenty of TVs make this a good place to also take in the game. Have always enjoyed the pizza here and like to return when in town.

  • Mark C.

Quick hitter here: 1. The four stars is because I think this place is a 3 star location with a 5 star view. Make sure you ask for a table with a view of the mountain. 2. Skip the Italian Sausage Sandwich. The sausage is tasty, but it was a bland sandwich overall. 3. Go with the pizza, everyone that ordered that seemed to be happy. Based on everyone else's approval, I am going to keep this at a 4 star. 4. The Pear Salad was huge.

Great salad and pizza! Crust is amazing. Our boys ordered fettuccini and is was really good! Fun atmosphere. We've been here several times and it's never disappointed.

The pizza was great. We had a large pizza with bacon and pineapple, and it was gone in no time. We were seated in 35 minutes on a Saturday night when they were swamped with people. The service was quick and attentive. I'll eat here again in the future and would recommend this place to all.

Pretty good food! The dinner salad was very good,It had alot of different vegetables in it which made it worth the money. I had the spaghetti and meatballs, it was very good. Great place for a family to have a meal. Overall, we had a great experience!

My family loved this. I thought it was just ok. Gluten free + small one topping+ side salad was $35. A tad bit pricey. Not the best gfree pizza I've had.

The pizza is really not great. At all. Not sure where all these 4 and 5 star ratings are coming from. I'd try someplace else if you're in breck for only a short time.

We really enjoyed our meals here. In fact we ate here 4 times during our vacation. The outside dining is especially fun. The meals are good and reasonably priced.

DO NOT EAT HERE. My first time in Breck, Fatty's was reccomended by a Local so I checked it out on Yelp. I was skeptical because of several reviews mentioned food poisoning, but I went anyway due to reccomendation by Local. On walk back to hotel began having stomach pain and didn't make it to my hotel room had to use bathroom in hotel lobby. Deserves 0 Stars

Fatty's Pizzeria fulfills the quota of necessary pizza joint in Rocky Mountain town. Specifically, it boasts hefty amounts of cheese and errs on the heavier side of toppings to satiate the skiers and tourists. The service does not provide the most inviting feel, and our group would like to note that they did not appreciate our patronage in ordering take-out. Fortunately, the abundance of cheese sits well on the somewhat thick dough, and the dough does well in holding up to the smattering of toppings and ingredients--give the supreme a spin if you want a little bit of everything. Not much I can really expound upon here, but Fatty's cures what ails your deepest pizza desires when nothing else will do.

The hostess was so rude to me, that if I didn't need to be somewhere in less than 30 min , I would have went elsewhere for lunch. I was there on a weekday around 12:30. Party of one. There were maybe 3 tables being used. NOTE: weekday after lunch rush. I asked to sit where "in the window so I could read as I was by myself." The hostess leads me to a DARK interior table, I said "no I want somewhere I can read". She takes me to another table in the same interior room. ( There are 2 other rooms with windows, this room has NO windows and therefore NO light, none, like the inside of a whale none) . Again "I say, I want to read, can I have that table?"- pointing to another table with actual sunshine on it in another room. "No." Ah, OK. "how another this table?". At this point I walked myslef into the light room- which had no one in it and at least 7-10 empty tables. "No." At this point, I'm pissed and I walk up to the front and stand there, waiting for her to offer me somewhere to sit. Again, she offers me the first table she offered. I say" no, I want light so I can read". She stares at me , I stare at her. I think she must not be able to read herself. I have been unsitting for 5 mins. I walk myself into the third room- which has windows and light and not a soul is sitting there - at least 10 empty tables. ""I'm going to sit here" walking toward a booth in the window. "No", she tells me. At this point, I need to kill her and I say "There is NO ONE in this restaurant, what's is your problem?" "ah, I can't seat you at tables for more than 2 people, you're only one person. and the other tables you pointed didn't have sunshine on them." "so, you don't look too busy to me?" "Well, you said you wanted to sit in the sun, I can;t seat you at the tables that have sun on them cause there are for 4-6 people and ..." "Ok, forget it, just bring me a waitess. I never said anything about sunshine, and I am going to sit here anyway" I would review the food and the service but after recalling what the dork the hostess was, it won't really help the review any.. oh, and the beer selection is super lame.

Great spot for watching games, drinking beers and enjoying their great wings. Also, a good chicago fan base hangs here!

Great pizza, we shared a large deep dish supreme and still had some to take home. Everything looked great as it was coming out. It was very busy but we were seated within 15 minutes. Our server was very attentive even though she was extremely busy. I'd go back!!

I've never tried the pizza here, but it looks really good. I've tried their ahi tuna salad and salmon sandwich, on separate occasions. Both times, the food was outstanding -- fresh and tasty. Right now you must be thinking, "That's nice, but why are you awarding this place 3 stars instead of 5?" The service. The first time, I came here with a couple of friends in the evening. We sat next to the window and the sun was setting, so that means the sun was shining right into our eyes. We asked to move to another table and the host refused to oblige. His excuse was that all the other tables were reserved. Uh, half of the restaurant was empty and no one even came in and claimed any of the tables the entire time we were there. The second time I came here (with my man), the waitress kept pushing sides on us. We thought the sides came with our meals, so we each ordered one. We also ordered potato skins and we NEVER asked for anything extra. Our potato skins came with sour cream and guacamole. Later, when we got the bill, we saw that they charged us extra for our sides, and the sour cream, AND the guacamole! I was pissed. The waitress purposefully didn't tell us that the sides cost extra, and she just added the sour cream and guacamole to our potato skins without us even asking. I find it extremely rude when a server does that just to get higher tips (higher bill = higher tip). It's a shame because I really liked the food here, but I think I'll wait a while before coming back here.

So much more then a pizzeria. Best potstickers in Colorada and an amazing happy hour will make you want to venture off Main Street.

Awful. Gave me 36 hours of food poisoning. The reviews on Yelp have two big trends. Salty food, and food poisoning. Everyone else at my table complained about their food being overly salty. I guess I drew the short straw. When I called the restaurant to tell them what happened (and pointed out that a lot of reviews mention food poisoning), the manager on duty told me that he doesn't think they have too many food poisoning complaints compared to the other places in the area. So that means not only are they serving nasty food, they think it's normal.

How have I not written a review for Fatty's? I'm here several times a month during ski season. Yes, it can get packed during high ski season, the servers are always friendly. I enjoyed their Cesar salad and a large slice of pizza with pepperoni. Their slices are huge for $2.75. If visiting Breck with or without kids this is a must try locals & tourist spot. Aside from pizza they have great sandwiches and other entrees.

    (4)
  • Morgan H.

We had a cheese pizza, cheese quesadilla. Pear salad and roast beef sandwich with onion rings. The pizza and quesadilla were for the kids and they tasted good and the kids liked it. Can't really go wrong there. Husband had the sandwich. He loved the flavor and the onion rings! I had the salad with grilled pears, pecans and blue cheese. It was excellent in flavor! All the ingredients complimented each other and the vinegarette lightens the load and tones down the fat from the cheese. For a salad this is simple and filling! Not a knock your socks off meal but I would come back. The service was great and this was prime time lunch time on a Friday.

Fatty's has a permanent place fixed in my memory from when I was a teenager and our friends took us up skiing to their condo in Breck. Wasn't sure if it was just a sweet memory or if it was actually a good spot. We ordered takeout last night and am happy to report that the pizza "delivered" (get it?) on all counts. Even after the remodel they don't have space for the crush of diners during peak season. They were slammed at 6:30 when we went in to pick up the pies. However- everyone was friendly, they were efficient and we were out in no time. Glad we weren't waiting for a table cuz we would have been there for a lonnnnng time. It took 4 tries to get an answer as the phone was busy but once I did the woman was patient and friendly (instead of acting overwhelmed and treating me like an imposition). I ordered 3 pies with a variety of complex configurations so I was not overly optimistic they would be constructed correctly. My amigo recommended we walked the few blocks to pick it up rather than drive over (which was a smart idea) and we carried a blanket from the condo to act as an "insulated pizza box" for the walk back.. GENIUS!! The pizzas were built perfectly and they tasted awesome. Style is "American" (as opposed to NY, Neapolitan, California, etc..) and they are VERY generous with the cheese. Lots of fun ingredients and they don't skimp on toppings. All of the pizzas I tasted were salty so I think they put a lot of salt in the sauce but not too horrible for a salt-aholic like myself. Very positive experience.. a big con was the cost (3 14" pizzas were $70) but as I perused menus around town for pizza it appears pretty par for the course for Breck.

    (4)
  • Jeremy P.

The spinach dip was pretty tasty. The "small" Caesar salad was very small for the price. We had the Mediterranean pizza... I review it as good. The rest of my table seemed to really enjoy it. Great service and atmosphere. The beer selection was lacking... but the strawberry daiquiri I had was deeelish!

    (3)
  • Gillian R.

This place is terrible. The pizza is gross, not much selection of beer, and unless you go here every night the staff isn't friendly in the slightest. Save your time and money and go somewhere else for pizza or better service.. Don't recommend this place at all.

    (1)
  • Daniel Dillon C.

Fatty's is a Breckenridge tradition, but you have to get the pizza. The other items I've tried on the menu have been so-so or even bad. I once made the mistake of ordering the pear salad with a sherry vinaigrette--it tasted positively awful, like someone had put an astringent into the dressing. I blame myself for that experience however. I mean seriously...it's a pizza place and the pizza will knock your socks off. Imagine: huge slices dripping with the best cheese I think I've ever eaten. It's totally worth it. In short: go for the pizza and the sometimes rowdy atmosphere. Stay away from salads. The restaurant is named Fatty's after all.

    (3)
  • Drew J.

We ordered take out. Deep dish pizza = just more dough. "Family size" caesar salad consisted of one head of romaine & shredded parm for $18. Bottom line: 2 mediocre pizzas & salad for $71.

We stumbled across this restaurant a year or two ago. Since then, we eat here at least once every time that we visit Breckenridge. The view is great, it's a hit with locals and the place is popular with folks visiting the area. We love their pizza. We usually get the meat lover's pizza, a few house salads and beer. It is a sports bar, the place has probably 10 or more televisions here. We enjoy the pizza, the staff is attentive and we are comfortable here. My experience here has been nothing, but pleasant. We have eaten here at least 6 times in the past two years.

  • Corie J.

The only bummer about this place is they don't seat you until your whole party is present. We ended up sitting separately at 2 different tables. But the pizza was amazing. We got a pepperoni, mushroom, sausage pizza and Cobb salad. The service was great. It is one of our favorite places to eat while in Breck!

On a busy Saturday night we enjoyed some excellent pizza. We thought it would be your standard ho hum... But was pleasantly surprised! My one picky kid gave it two thumbs up! Move east of the busy strip and enjoy ! Wait was only 30 min all other places stayed 2 hours

I've been going to Breck for 30+ years and Fatty's has always been a favorite stop in Summit County. The original restaurant was expanded and remodeled what seems like years ago (15 maybe?) to handle all the tourists during the high season. If you go anytime between the hours of 5 & 9pm you're probably going to wait, but thanks to their expansion the wait isn't nearly as long anymore. We had an unexpected table of 9 at 7pm on a Sat on our last trip and they had us seated in 40 minutes. (Tip: Order your pizza from the bartender about 20 minutes in and your pies will be piping hot and on the table within minutes of sitting down). Three large pizzas and a couple apps will feed 10 people pretty easily. If you're a veg-head like me you can order the vegetarian, but I suggest you get the Mediterranean instead - a much more flavorful no-meat option if you're into the whole caper/feta/artichoke vibe. If you make a trip to Summit County, and you like pizza, Fatty's is a must.

  • Andrew B.

Nothing to complain about here. Good quality food that is worthy of your $10 bill. I usually get a chicken sandwich done BBQ style with some onion rings to top it off. Always a fresh chicken breast and big slices of onion, lettuce and tomato. What you will find at Fattys is lots of locals drinking at their bar, good atmosphere and friendly wait staff. I always make my orders to-go and zip in and out in under 5 minutes each time. Middle of the road in pricing for Breckenridge and you can tell that there is a reason this place has been around forever.

We came during rush hour (5:30pm) with a party of six. We had a short wait of 20min. People were out the door waiting. The food was GREAT! The wait staff really does a great job making sure you are happy and they really hurry with your food and drinks! I highly recommend this place. It was a great time for us with young impatient kids. Love it!

I had the hawaiin style pizza,.. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here I thought it was Northside's Pizza but a little bit more expensive. The service was great and the pizza was delicious but nothing special.

  • Seth J.

The scampi was average. When we go out to eat we want to be wowed. The lemon juice was from a bottle. It was too easy to pick out all the ingredients. There was nothing special or unique about it. The dinner salads were tired and limp. The bread was grocery store quality. Airy and crusty. On a positive note the ranch was good and zingy. But good ranch is not enough to bring us back.

The pizza was really good. Our server, Kristin, is why I am giving this 5 stars. She was so much fun and made our dining experience even better.

We came here as a group of 10 and had excellent service. The pizza was pretty good and 2 pies was plenty for 10 hungry skiers. I would recommend ordering the hamburger pizza, so good!

Good pizza but experience was ruined when they automatically added a 20% gratuity for a table of four. We all worked in the food service industry, it's kind of insulting!

OMG !!! Being naughty has never tasted so good! After a day killing it on the slopes nothing does a body better than great Ritas and delish pizza!!!! Listen don't go here for fine dining. It's a BAR in a ski town. Get over it! The Hearthstone is down the street if you want a fancier meal. I am a pizza fiend, so I can't complain about much. I did try their lasagna and it was pretty darn yummy too. Good - Oh Lordy give me more of the mouthwatering, delectable, gooey goodness, melting all over my fingers. I have to say the salads aren't bad and the service is always pleasantly upbeat. Heck, who wouldn't be living in Breck year round--- must be fun! Wish I could pause real life for a while and live like a nomad. Bumming thru ski towns making just enough to pay bills and ride the slopes. I digress... anyway I always like to try the drink specials and I wasn't disappointed. Seems to me that all the bartenders in Breck were adept mixologists. Bad- Gets crowded in the bar area, but if you are willing to sit away from the ever present TV, than I promise the other room isn't awful. Sure beats waiting around for a bar table when you are hungry enough to eat your hands. Ugly- Nothing to report Fatty's Pizzeria will definitely be on my list every time we visit Breck!

You like a shit ton of salt on your food, then come here. Found ourselves here late on a Friday evening when everything else had a super long wait. I got an italian sub which was literally, drenched in salt. Boyfriend got chicken parmesan. Same thing-super oversalted! Chicken Parm is pretty hard to eff up but they managed to do it here. They did have DPA on tap though, which is why it earned one lone star. Bleh. Don't bother.

My husband and I stopped by here after driving in from Estes Park. The food was pretty average. The caprese salad didn't have a lot of flavor, but the burger was decent enough. I might stop in again to try the pizza, but I wouldn't make a special trip.

Neither here nor there. Nothing special. Found myself at Fatty's for lunch on a Saturday afternoon in September. The pizza wasn't great. I ordered the veggie pizza and was disappointed to discover how stingy they were with their "vegetables" (a few black olives and chopped onions). For the ridiculous wait time, I was hoping that some sort of life-changing deluxe pizza was going to come out of that kitchen. Nope. What came out was "okay" and nothing more. Definitely attracts a local crowd.. and when I say "local," I mean mountain people in need of a haircut who I imagine live in their van out front (hey, no judgment.. just sayin'). Seems to be the local place to go for watching the game over a beer at the bar. When the bill arrived (15 long minutes after requesting it), thought it best to just leave cash with no change required, as the "dazed and confused" waitress may get lost again.

This place was recommended by the Valdora Hotel staff as a good sports bar. I'd consider it more of a dive bar. It does have a few TVs and is a spot for the locals since it's located off the main drag. I'm a chicken wing guy and the waitress highly recommended thier wings. I was very unimpressed. They came out soggy and covered in thier buffalo sauce which wasn't very tastey. I wouldn't recommend Fatty's to my friends. There are much better places to stop by for a bite.

After driving through Kansas and I-70 all day long, we finally arrived in Breckenridge and checked into our condo. Realizing that we were famished, we went driving around town to find something to eat. I had previously eaten at Fatty's about 5 years ago, and I had fond memories. I had no problem convincing the rest of my group to eat here. Fatty's has a lot of vegetarian options, which makes this veggie very happy. I ordered a small Deluxe Veggie pizza ($12.25) all for myself. It came out with tomatoes, avocado, spinach, onions, cashews, garlic, topped with mozzarella and cheddar cheese. The thought of cashews had initially intrigued me, but they were a pleasant addition to the pizza. The pizza was so stuffed full of toppings that I could only comfortably eat 3 slices. The rest were taken as leftovers. My friends ordered a Meat Lover's pizza and reported it was just as delicious. It just so happened that they were having a special on banana daiquiris on this evening. My girlfriend had one and it was yummy. Fatty's is definitely the type of place I will visit when I am in the area again. The atmosphere is fun, the service was fast, and the food is awesome!

Ultra-salty, ultra-greasy (there were even oil bubbles in my coffee, no kidding...these guys live up to their name), and just plain bad. My burger tasted odd (read: old meat) and did I mention salty as heck. Ugh! I left without getting even close to finishing my meal. And to top it all off, it was expensive! It's been a long time since I have had such a bad food experience at a restaurant. The staff was nice enough, but the food was so bad that I will not be back. It could be that the standards in mountain towns are different (lower?), but my guess is that people don't come here for the food. I guess if I was a half-drunk local with damaged taste buds and a desire to hang out with my pals, eat salt and grease, and get even more drunk, this place might be a decent choice. Otherwise, avoid this place like an salt-drenched, greasy, old meat patty.

Yuck! ordered the Jones Chicken Burger (with grilled bell peppers and onions) with fries and some tea. I was SORELY disappointed....chicken was flavorless...burger was falling apart before my eyes and I had to douse it in A1 sauce for it to taste decent. My fries were OK. Not the best...so douse those in A1 too. The PICKLES however...were CRUNCHY and yummy! woot! Service was slow (not enough servers for # of customers). The pasta seems rather pricey....friends were not satisfied with their pasta dishes. Waiter did bring me an assortment of Celestial teas (most of it was herbal), and some honey! :) All in all....I wouldn't come back here to eat again. But honestly, when in Breck....your choices are limited, so take your chances with all the restaurants or just bring and cook you own food! :)

Decent pizza, a little heavy on cheese for me, but a solid pie, great favor and fresh tasting ingredients. Had take out, can't peak to the rest of restaurant. But everyone involved in a takeout order was great

We tried this place based on a recommendation and it was OK. The food was good, but it was kind of a noisy due to the bar like atmosphere. My wife had a chicken Parmesan sandwich and I had their signature Reuben sandwich with home-style clam chowder. All were great. There is a large selection of beer and drinks to try too. Other people who ordered pizzas, they looked pretty good. Service was average, but what you expect for a Friday night at the bar. Probably a better place to go and hang out a larger groups to enjoy watching the game or night out for drinks.

Had the hotwings and the meatlovers pizza. Food was good and priced well. The bar was very busy but no wait for the tables. Will return. Good place for casual dining in Breck.

Great food. We had hot cappicola sandwich & the chicken parm sandwich. Both were excellent. The pizza looked delicious as well. Beer was not in scold mug. Service was good.

I am a 20 year Breckenridge local and I hardy ever patronize this place. The food is reasonably good and plentiful. The problem is the service. If you're not a regular forget it. It just sucks!! If you want pub grub cuisine go to Downstairs At Eric's on Main Street. A bigger menu and the service is terrific.

Breckenridge has a sea of pizza places, and when i found Fattys with some friends one night, we loved it. Really cool bar area to wait and grab a beer, and the pizza was delicious after a long day of shredding. Our group was loud and rowdy, and this place was perfect for us! So much more laid back than other busy pizza places in town, and I would be a regular if I lived in Breckenridge!

I usually do not write reviews, good or bad, however, I have had a very bad experience at Fatty's. Over the Christmas holiday 2012 my family, nine of us, had take out pizza from here and all nine of us got food poisoning! Even my one year old, who only tried a piece of sausage was up all night vomiting. After 72 hours most of us were okay. When we returned home (we live in southern CO), we called to discuss our experience with the owner. Two phone calls and two promises from the staff that we'd be contacted, and three weeks later STILL no call. It's sad that customer service means nothing to some businesses. After our experience and the staffs inability to follow food safety guidelines, we won't eat there again. We also don't recommend this place to others (obviously)! I only gave a star because I couldn't leave it blank.

I had a delicious Mediterranean pizza here, with lots of toppings and cheese on it. Sports bar environment, but with a homey feel and a nice staff.

They said they would make my burger rare. It came out medium well. I was too hungry to send it back, but I was pretty annoyed. The fries and service were good. I went here because it was around the corner from where I was staying. I was hungry and too lazy to walk further. Don't be lazy.

  • Stephanie C.

The pizza here was pretty good. Not too greasy, and not too piled up with cheese. Also, bonus points for not having a sweet pizza sauce. Now, don't get me wrong...it's not fancy, definitely a bar atmosphere. They were a bit disorganized with the seating and that got to be a bit frustrating. I'm on the fence on whether or not the food was actually worth the hour long wait. I will try it again, but not on a Saturday night.

We ordered the clam pizza for takeout. Our order was ready on time and the pizza was delicious. Reminded my wife and me of the clam pizzas that we ate in NYC. Our friends ordered the White Chicken Pizza and it was quite flavorful and met our expectations. I would definitely go back to Fatty's the next time I am in Breckenridge.

Our night started off well with tasty fried clams, onions rings and an awesome spinach artichoke dip served with pita wedges. It went downhill from there. They serve mediocre pizza. Actually it was just bad. The crust is hard to describe and was hard to eat at them time. I think you could make a better pizza using a frozen dough ball from the grocery store. The cheese was gummy and the veggies nonexistent. The meat toppings were salty and had an off flavor. Pitchers of PBR did not help. Colorado has such a great variety of beers but they can't be found here for some reason. There was a line out the door for this place. Why?

I really wanted to like Fatty's, but I just didn't. The name had me thinking I was going to eat some damn good food, but it came up short. I've been craving pizza lately like it's my job, but I was waiting for the right time to cave. I thought that this was the appropriate occasion while I was on a trip with my family, but I was wrong. I rarely eat pizza (even though it is one of my favorite meals) but when I do it, I do it up right. We ordered a medium pizza with sausage, peppers, onions, and garlic...which sounded like a recipe for success. Think again. Everything about it was missing something: the ingredients were lacking flavor, the sauce was nothing special, and the crust although appeared soft and chewy, was actually hard and almost stale tasting. I did split their salad with grilled pear, pecans and gorgonzola that was awesome, and easily large enough for a meal (especially if you threw on some grilled chicken). I also had a couple bites of my uncle's reuben sandwich that was pretty yummy as well. However, I stand by two stars because it is a pizzeria...and the pizza was not so much. There are about a million pizza places in Breckenridge, so I would certainly give them a whirl before I dined here again.

I'm giving Fatty's three stars because the food is truly good, but the service deserves something closer to 1.5 stars. Our group had several different pizzas, including a surprisingly good gluten-free one, and the house lasagna. A few of the pies were a little topping-heavy, but the crusts were all flavorful and the lasagna was outstanding. Overall, a pretty good place!

Had the white chicken pizza and was very satisfied. Great place to get something to eat and have a drink. Decorated with old Breckenridge ski items. Many TVs if you want to watch a game.

Great menu, atmosphere and service. And for Breck, prices are very reasonable. I had the Mediterranean Pizza and my buddies all had something different. We were all impressed. I can't wait to get back here and try some other stuff.

We had read mixed reviews on this place & were hesitant to try it. Boy, am I glad we did! The pizza was FABULOUS!! I can't say enough about the white chicken pizza, it was tasty, the veggies were still crisp. And our food came out surprisingly quick. I don't think the service was slow, I felt like we were just encouraged to relax, enjoy our food & beer, and generally have a good time. Our waitress was friendly & keep the drinks full. We will definitely be back to Fatty's when we head back to Breck!

  • Nicola V.

I like this place. Order the pizza by the slice, not the whole pie, it tastes better that way for some reason. The crust is good, thin (the way I like pizza), lots of cheese, and you can add your own toppings so I usually pile mine with veggies. In the summer the patio's a nice place to get away from the crowded dining room. I'm sitting here in Tucson eating a pizza that is sadly inadequate by comparison and wishing i was there. This place is kid-friendly, too.

  • Travis D.

Went here with a bunch of people after some locals recommended it before checking into our condo around Christmas time. I'm not quite sure what everyone is all upset about. The pizza was pretty good, but not great. Service was pretty good. Beer selection was a little sub par for Colorado, but not terrible ($7 pitchers of PBR for all the hipsters!). Price was good but not great (for Breckenridge). That pretty much sums up the experience at Fatty's: good but not great. Three stars it is.

    (3)
  • Connor A.

Decent restaurant. Pizza is very good. Lots of things on the menu are overpriced, such as the Alfredo pasta I ordered ($20). Not even that big of a portion and it was average. If you come here, stick to the pizza.

  • Adam A.

This is your stereotypical ski town local pizza shop with tons of alcohol on hand. The pizzas are good although nothing special as are their prices.

    (2)
  • Sam A.

Came because folks said great - Yes it is a crowded bar and full most nights. We found the pizza average thin and greasy. Good service and they tried. A bit pricy for the quality. I would recommend Eric's for much better food.

When we couldn't get into Gianpietro's, their hostess recommended Fatty's. Very good food. Big portions and well seasoned.

  • Ethan K.

Fatty's was recommended by some locals on Main Street and we found it to have a nice sports-bar/alpine atmosphere, large patio+deck for fair weather dining and welcoming staff. Family friendly too. Those were the plusses. The two pizzas, fries basket, and burgers ordered by our party were OK but nothing exciting. Draft beer selection was small and ill-chosen (PBR, Miller Lite, Bud... what?) Someone tell these people about Breckenridge Brewery! Fat Tire made it satisfactory but it's disappointing for a sports bar. Service was fairly slow and food took quite a while to arrive. There's better out there in Breck. Consider Extreme Pizza (further north than Fatty's along Main).

  • L G.

Fatty's is many things: watering hole, local hangout, sports bar, friday night habit. But one of Fatty's secrets is the food. Pass up the pizza which is only so-so, and go for one of the specials. Owner John Daisy puts a lot of pride into his food, searches local sources for ingredients, and tries to create unique dishes. It's not white table dining, but it's pretty darn good.

If youre looking for a casual place for good foods, pizza, pasta, beer, this is the place to be in Breckenridge. Went there and enjoed the locals favorite pasta and a cranberry walnut apple salad. Yum! Only downside was there was a very very limited selection of beer on tap.

  • Becky S.

We got take out from Fatty's one night and the pizza was ready and piping hot. Though the pizza was very good, I wouldn't say that it's the best that. Breckenridge has to offer. The crust was perfect, ample toppings, but the sauce was somewhat bland.

    (3)
  • Aileen W.

We went there for dinner but the bar area was so noisy and we couldn't enjoy (the restaurant is small so it is not really devided "bar"and"restaurant") sliced Pizza is good. Burger is just ok. Service is good. Next time, we would do to-go instead.

Ate here Sept. '08 with a group of 6 and again recently (wife and daughter)-pizza both times. On both occassions, most everybody liked it--wifey does not. There's a very slight hint of sage, probably in the red sauce--unusual for pizza, and that may be a bit offputting for some people--I kind of like it. Too much on the menu. They could be 4 stars by concentrating on pizza and a handfull of other Italian stuff they do well.

    (3)
  • J. H.

Four stars for the pizza and patio combination. We had a BBQ chicken pizza and roast beef/french dip - both were 3 star good plus 1 star for the view from the patio. Decent lunch spot.

  • Shane and Kelly K.

We made our second visit to Fatty's last week and Yay! I'm a fan. We like the Italian Hero Sandwich, pure deliciousness (without the salt, like the previous post suggests). Also the pizza is not too shabby. I don't know if we'd order the pizza again, but their warm and toasty subs are great on a cold, snowy afternoon. The chef's salad was a good size and tasted delicious. The soup of the day is generally good too. This has become our lunch or dinner stop in Breck.

    (4)
  • Dallas T.

I've tried it twice and had 4 different pizzas. There is much better pizza to be had. If you do try it, don't order the chicken on your pizza. Nasty.

    (2)
  • Alicia S.

Went here last night...it was horrible. We spent $40 on 1 salad, a pasta dish, and a slice of pizza. RIDICULOUS. The most expensive meal we've eaten in our 2 days in Breck and it was awful. Try to avoid this place unless you are really desperate.

    (1)
  • Nick R.

Meh. The place was a little vanilla for me. The buffalo clam strips felt like they came strait out of the freezer section. The Pizza was not bad, though not something to write home about. The one stand out was the salads which were inventive and well thought out, the shame is, who wants a salad after skiing all day!?!

    (3)
  • Rick R.

I recommend beer at this restaurant and nothing else. It's a decent sports bar and has obnoxious flowers every summer, but the food is sub-par. If you HAVE to have pizza, I like the chicken bbq pizza. It's doable. But the salad is iceberg, the tomatoes are so mushy and hard I think SYSCO gives a discount to them. I recommend going elsewhere. Be warned: If you are a woman, you will be ogled at the bar by the several old-timers who will probably die in their seats.

    (1)
  • CJ L.

Like a few of the other reviewers, Fatty's was recommended to me by a local. I'm starting to get the impression they're sending vacationers here to divert us from the restaurants in town that they actually enjoy. Had an early dinner, so it wasn't hugely crowded, and we didn't have to wait. The bar seemed a little crowded for happy hour. Had a few beers and a few glasses of house wine on happy hour special that were reasonably priced and pretty good. I had the lasagna, and my dad had a kind of "meat-lovers" pizza that he liked. I second that it's pretty salty, but I liked the balance of ricotta and mozzarella cheese in the lasagna, and the tomato sauce was a little sweet, which was interesting. The food's not bad, but also not particularly memorable. We were looking for a good Italian restaurant, so this place kind of missed the mark for us. If you're looking for a place primarily to drink and perhaps munch on some Italian-y bar food while you watch sports on their several TVs, their happy hour is the place for you.

  • Drew S.

A straightforward sports bar that serves good pizza. There are a number of small tables, a mid-size bar and some space at the windows looking out onto Ridge St.
