Nothing special. It is essentially a glorified Red Lobster with a Forest Gump theme. Food was average. They served my beer in a plastic cup.

Staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice didn't have to wait to be seated but we were sat next to the outside area and the cotton was flying inside was going into our drinks and all over our food. As for the food had the chicken sandwich which was good but another person in our group had the net catch entree and it was horrible the potatoes were still hard it had some Cajun flavor that was gross and paid over 80.00 including tip which was ridiculous would not recommend this place

Six of us dined at Gump's after the Santa race. Although the place was hopping we were immediately seated and our food come out quickly. Everyone ordered a different dish and all the food met or exceeded expectations. Our waiter was attentive. We will be back.

This place doesn't even worth one star. Horrible service. Waited for an hour for food. That is before I get the waitress to check on the food. This place is small. My group of friends are separated into 2 two tables. My friends already finished and paid. My table was still waiting. Other tables who came after us already finished and paid. Just bs.

By far the worst service we've ever had!!! No wonder they have someone standing out by the sign -- gotta wheel them in! We waited over an hour for 3 kid meals (all fried) and 2 regular meals (one of which was forgotten)!! Would NEVER return!!no refills after we were told he was bringing them. Just horrible!!

We go to Breck frequently and have tried a number of restaurants there, but this was our first time at Bubba Gump Shrimp. We ate upstairs and it was uncomfortably warm, but then it did cool down later. Food was decent, but not great. Service was slow, but for the most part friendly. We thought part of the problem was communication between the staff since we had 4 different staff taking orders and delivering food. I still don't know which one was our server. Overall it's a bit gimmicky and we'll shy away from this place. And just FYI they play the Forrest Gump movie on a loop and we love the movie but realized that a few of the scenes are inappropriate for young kids, so keep that in mind if you get a table near one of the many TV's.

I was pleasantly surprised by the food here. We had cajun shrimp, jambalaya and some garlic peel n eat shrimp. All food came out on time and it was all very good. Does appear to have a slow atmosphere and not a place to go if in a hurry. We enjoyed it since we sat outside on a beautiful August evening watching the sunset on the surrounding mountains. I've had some poor food in Breck and this was not one of the places. I would return again.

Typical Bubba Gump decor. We liked the one in Orlando. Definitely not our first choice in Breck but the kids got hungry as we were passing by so we had lunch. Good food and OK service. The patio looked nice but it was too cold to sit outside. I don't think this is a good fit for this town. We'll most certainly eat at Bubba Gumps again, but not this one.

The service was great, but the food lacked flavor and the po-boy sandwich was poorly constructed. Would not recommend this restaurant if you are looking for good seafood.

Went in for Dinner on a Saturday. The food was decent however I have never seen such poor service. It took them 20 mins just to get a refill of water. The manager and staff truly did not care. I will never go back here again No point is giving people money to ignore you - There are many better options in Breck.

It was not my decision to eat here and I must admit I had very very low expectations of the restaurant. However, every other place in town had an hour and 45 minute wait (literally) so this was the chosen restaurant. Our group of 7 was seated within 5 minutes and our waitress was fantastic. I always notice the quality of service in a restaurant and I appreciate not having to beg for a drink refill, just sayin. The food/atmosphere was meh. It definitely wasn't bad but there really wasn't anything that particularly stood out either. It honestly was just an average chain restaurant that had a Forrest Gump theme. I wouldn't come back here but just because it really wasn't my style of eating establishment...if you're the type of person who enjoys such restaurants as Hard Rock Cafe or Planet Hollywood you would probably appreciate "Bubba Gump Shrimp Co." more than I did.

This is maybe a gracious four stars. Don't get me wrong, I've never had a bad experience here. The food has always been good, but not outstanding. The service is consistently very good and it's a nice atmosphere. I continue to go back often and it is the best seafood place in town in my experience.

Food was fine, but I will skip the national chain next time I am in Breckenridge. Lot of better locally owned places. Staff was excellent and very attentive. Just too much of a Phony chain atmosphere for my tastes.

Good food but not great. I think the portions are small for the money. We all had shrimp and found it good but not great.

Rockin' good po-boy sandwich... super-stuffed with very nicely breaded, hot shrimp. LOVED IT! It seriously was better than most of the ones we've had in New Orleans! It came with fries and was only about $10! The clam chowder was a very generous bowl and was thick with clams & potatoes. We also enjoyed the tilapia in lemon butter sauce with capers & artichoke hearts.

The food was ok although it was high priced for what you were getting. The atmosphere was entertaining for the kids.

We stopped in here for a snack and to just sit on the outdoor patio! We had the clam chowder soup which was very good and the service was friendly and quickly served us. They have a great bar area and make lots of cocktails to choose from so a fun place to go.

We are skiing in Breckenridge this week and were skeptical about eating at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company after reading the reviews. My husband convinced me to go and we were pleasantly surprised. Our server was Kirsten and she made excellent recommendations. We had great service and the food was delicious. We started with a cup of clam chowder and a cup of shrimp gumbo. Then, we also had the Cajun peel and eat shrimp which were awesome. Last but not least we split the seafood feast. We enjoyed at all and will definitely return.

Terrible terrible service! None of the staff were friendly, including our server. The manager yelled across the room as he was walking by asking why our "sign" was on green, I told him we needed a "to go" box, it was never brought to us. Food was ok. First time eating Bubba Gumps, hopefully all locations don't operate this way.

Used to be outstanding. Now it's awful. We've gone to this most times we were up in Breckenridge and in the past we always got really good food. But this time it was bad - the shrimp tempura was room temperature and the rest of the shrimp and french fries were warm but not hot. It was very disappointing. On leaving I noticed that it is now owned by Landry's and I have a rule to not eat at their restaurants because they provide indifferently provided food. It's too bad because Bubba Gump used to be really good. The service was decent.

We stopped at BG's on our overnight stay in Breckenridge . We were happy it was not crowded and we could sit outside with our two year old and enjoy the crisp evening air. Our server was very helpful and attentive to us and our daughter . Our food came out hot, quick, and delicious. We enjoyed a few beers and our only complaint was that we didn't realize there was outdoor seating on the other side of the restaurant with a western view of the Rockies. Overall it's a chain that we have enjoyed elsewhere, and after traveling all day it was nice to have a familiar dining experience in a breathtaking location.

Stopped here with some friends while we were out riding with some friends. I have never had such poor service and lack of caring as well as attention from the wait staff in a restaurant ever in my life. The staff appeared to careless. I will never go back here again

I had occasion to be treated to lunch here the other day. And I had not eaten at the one in my native Chicago. We dropped in late for lunch and we were escorted to an upstairs bar area where we were given a choice which always reminds me of the Chinese joint in my Michigan hometown: "table or boof?" I'm afraid the boof was too cramped and uncomfortable, so we stretched out at a table. We were seated and waited on by a young chap with that funny, slightly pushy you-are-really-here-for-me attitude. Not surprising in someone who appeared to never have shaved and who probably still wears underoos. But, seriously, the service was fine. I am just always amused by these TGI Friday clone chains and their gimmicky stuff. At Bubba's, there are these license plates on the table which you flip to summon your server. What ever happened to just yelliing "Oh, GAR-con?" The menu is pretty extensive and of course features those mega-caloric appetizers we Americans are so famous for, and lots of shrimp-based entrees. It did take this Libra awhile to choose. I ordered a stuffed trout, and my brother a plate of stuffed shrimp. no apps. No sides. Entrees do not come with vegetables or salads. We did get cups of New England clam chowder, and that was very good. Lot's of clams. The stuffed entrees were also surprisingly scrumptious. I would have liked just a little more rice. I think Mr. Gump could afford to dish out more than the 1/4 cup of the stuff on our plates. Two lunches, two entrees, four Fat Tires, $64.77. Parking $3.00. Maybe not the best bang for the buck. But hanging with your little bro' whom you haven't seen in six years in beautiful downtown Breckenridge: Priceless. (Sorry for the overused commercial rip-off - sometimes it's just appropriate.) I will have good memories of Bubba Gump's.

Ask for Josh if you come in. He was very quick and attentive and funny! Food came quick and was hot. Great food and great service! Maybe the trick is to come in the middle of the afternoon when it's not busy haha. It's a little pricey but good!

Totally overpriced and crappy service! Our waitress kept disappearing for long periods of time (and as a matter of fact any and all wait staff were in short supply). I had ordered their Pear and Berry Salad that (according to the menu) included charbroiled chicken, but when my (very small $12.00) salad came, there was no chicken on it whatsoever. After waiting for 7-10 minutes for a waiter to appear on the back deck, I walked inside to hunt down a human being, who brought me a separate dish consisting of 1/2 cup of microwaved broiled chicken chunks. Our waitress did show up later to clear our plates that we were not yet finished with, but never apologized for the salad screw up

I honestly don't know what their food tastes like. Our group came in and was seated. The wait staff never came over to take our order - they all totally ignored us even though we were about the only ones out on the back patio. After 30 minutes, we went across the street to Kenosha for a wonderful meal on their patio with views of the slopes.

Loved the novelty of the place. BUT.....The food left a whole lot to be desired. Very overpriced, and horrible tasting. The breading on the shrimp was aweful. The fish tempura was tasteless. We would not return.

Chain restaurant but one of the better patios in Breck. A little strange to have seafood in the mountains. A little strange to go to a chain in such a independent friendly town, but all in all a good experience and especially nice to sit outside and look at the mountains.

We stopped in for a very late lunch, arriving around 2. I don't think they were expecting anyone and didn't hear us come in so we stood for a while waiting for someone to seat us, other than that the service was great. The staff was friendly. The food was good. Not the best seafood I've every had but totally edible. Overall an enjoyable experience.

Not satisfied with our first experience at Bubba Gump here in Breckenridge. First we were seated at a booth that was far too small I sat on one side of the booth and my husband on the other and the table was pressed against the both of us. We had a child with us and asked for a high chair that never came. I ordered a mojito that tasted like straight rum and asked to exchange it for water... I was charged for the mojito that I didn't drink. The food was mediocre, I was not at all satisfied with the flavor or the price for such a small amount of food. I am really disappointed with my first experience with Bubba Gump.

We tend to visit this place during Oktoberfest every year - AFTER the beerfest when the brats and pretzels have dissolved in your 4 refills of Hefeweizen beer in your stomach. Therefore, this place makes for some interesting people watching during and after the festivities. Anyhow, I usually have the boat trash and the cajun shimp catch and as I tried other various dishes here, these are the two that I like the best. You really can't go wrong with peel and eat shrimp and fried boat trash. The place is huge, two stories and a patio that is awesome in the summer time. The service is pretty good for the most part when you have a large party of 10 and over and the menu pricing is a little high, but you're in Breck, everything is a tad bit more expensive, but overall, it's ok. Ugh, no matter what time of year your go, the bathrooms are like sauna. It could be middle of winter or, even worse, in the middle of summer, and the bathrooms make you drip sweat - gross. Strange, but true.

My first recent trip for a late lunch was a little bit disappointed. Hubby had their BBQ Burgers with fries and all, while I had like 2 of their appetizers. The fried calamari was way way too salty for my taste bud. The shrimp scampi was pretty decent. The only thing I like about the meal I had was the Blueberry Smoothie. Was wondering are the rest of the outlets across the US same like this one in Breckenridge?? I wonder.....

When I go to a restaurant and order a beer, and specifically ask for a price list, and they say that they don't have one (bullshit)...I expect a reasonable priced tall boy. If I were at a major a league sports event,I might expect to pay twelve dollars for a beer....in a tourist community, I expect an eight dollar beer. When I got the bill (not itemized) for two appetizers, four beers, and gratuity included (18%, 9.81), and it was 80.60, I was a little floored. Upon further inquiry, the waitress explained that the "clean, glasses we're giving you", we're really part of the cost of the 12.00 beers. If we didn't want the glasses they "gave" us, that we would have 5.00 refunded for each glass. After the refund, the included gratuity was not recalculated and remained at 9.81, for a 58.99 bill. I asked if it was recalculated and they took the entire gratuity off. I understand the corporate concept of getting your patrons drunk then misleading them about the cost of your products, including additional fluff/fillers (like the deep fried peppers in the calamari), and up-selling trinkets like glasses to increase your profit margin.... I just thought it was illegal. Very deceptive business practices. The FTC has regulations that are supposed to prevent consumers from being taken advantage of. In fact, the act of providing an intoxicating substance to your patrons, then not giving full disclosures, could be a form of coersion. Regardless of the legal ramifications, that's just wrong... Change your corporate culture. Shame. Bubba Gump is NOT a box of chocolates.

Very expensive for the amount of food u get. My gumbo shrimp appetizer was soaked in butter, shrimps were very tiny. Shrimp scampi was good but portion was very small. Best part of my meal was the blueberry smoothie. We won't be going back.

When I brought up this restaurant as an option for dinner, I did not have overwhelming expectations. As other reviewers have mentioned; it is a chain, its theme is derived from the 'Forrest Gump' movie, and it is located in a resort town. So why did we go? I guess just to check it out; probably the same bad reason people visited Planet Hollywood... and we know how that ended! The Food - Actually, it was not that bad. I had a shrimp soup which was acceptable, but not overwhelming. Hard to find an item in the menu that is not fried. If you have had fried shrimp before, you know what to expect. I would have given this restaurant two stars except for two important reasons. 1. The truly took the Forrest Gump theme to the highest level. There are even ping pong paddles on the table, and you flip a plastic card from red to green when you want service. I love restaurants that do not have dedicated servers; you get refills and assistance much more promptly. 2. They have a drink special where you get a domestic beer and a well shot for $5.50!!!! In a resort town, this is like stealing. I paid 9 dollars for a Bud Light earlier in the day; in comparison, this is an amazing deal. I would recommend coming here to experience the theme, having three drink specials, and then stumble to the hot tub at your hotel.

You know you have to be leery of a restaurant that is named after a movie. Believe it or not, I really enjoyed my visits here to Bubba Gump Shrimp Company. Chances are if you're in Breckenridge you're probably a tourist and once you succumb to that you can enjoy being one. The food here is priced high but decent enough. Just reading down the menu is enough for me to get a good kick out of the experience. I'll be back.

Definitely believe all the reviews of Bubba Gump in Breckenridge. They are true. We like Landrys in general and thought we would give it a chance. When we arrived they didn't clean the table and left old dishes on it and the floor was really dirty. I think we were uncomfortable right away because it wasn't clean. My husband ordered fish and chips and it was really greasy as well as the kids meals. I ordered mahi mahi and the fish was cold (I hope they actually cooked it). This not worth the money.

This restaurant is good for groups since the atmosphere is fun and easy-going. I don't know if I'd want to go here for a first date though.. maybe 2nd, 3rd date, but not 1st. The servers are nice and knowledgeable about the food/drinks. The food is good, but not great. I wouldn't mind visiting again to try different dishes.

"Anyway, like I was sayin', shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, sautee it. Dey's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That- that's about it." - Forrest Gump This place is known for it's shrimp and was everything I expected and then some. Normally I'm not a big seafood fan, but a friend said I had to try this place. I was told specifically to order something, anything, shrimp. Apparently the other food isn't nearly as good, but the shrimp is totally mouthwatering. We ordered some huge appetizer of shrimp which was sweet and succulent, you peel it yourself and the messiness was part of the appeal. For our entrees we ordered more shrimp (shocker I know). I would love to tell you what everything was other than the fact that it was shrimp, but I don't remember. One had mango and pineapple and the other was a combination of different types of shrimp with their perspective sauces. I love the outdoor patio and they have their drink menus in between ping pong paddles. Plus there were two license plates on each table. One green one that said "Run Forrest Run" and the other was red and said "Stop Forrest Stop" If you put the red one out the first server to see it will stop and help you out with anything you could possibly need. This was a really cute concept that actually worked. Entrees are about 15$ each, but there was more than enough food to go around. Anytime I'm in the mood for serious shrimp I shall return!

All in all, it's a fun restaurant to enjoy a beer and some shrimp. My wife had shrimp tacos and absolutely loved them. I had the Po Boy and thought it was decent, but not spectacular. The kid's chicken strips were plentiful and had my daughter's full attention with the jello served with it and silly boat that it all came in, so that was money well spent right there. I do have to give them big kudos for their service, though. The wait staff was fantastic to us and our tired out little toddler and was very gracious and accommodating to all of our requests (and we tipped accordingly). Service is equally important to the food itself when we go out to eat, and how they handle kids is a big deal. In this area, Bubba Gump's was flawless. So I give them 3 stars for food, 5 stars for service, for an overall score of 4 stars. And yes, I'd come back.

You want a theme-park with your food, this is your place. You like lots of fried batter, this is your place. Kids seem to like it; my two granddaughters did, but it's not for me. The non-fried shrimp was ok, and I've had fish there once, and it was ok. But if you want seafood in Breck, there are much better places, and you don't have to put up with Forrest.

"Run Forrest, Run!!" Love how they come to your table and do Forrest Gump trivia! Makes dining experience more animated and fun! Ultimate theme here is based from the movie, so you get to see lots of remembrance from Forrest Gump! Food was okay, but I really enjoyed their service. They also have a gift shop right next door to the restaurant and if you order any Forrest special drinks, you get to keep a brand new one, just present your bill, and the nice lady will hand it to you! Until then, Cheers! ~ :p

Service was great, food was really good and the MacNShrimp appetizer was delicious. For it being Forth of July weekend, service and seating was really quick. I would recommend Bubba's to anyone. As for the entrees, there was plenty of food and the whole family enjoyed it!

A typical chain restaurant in a typical ski town run by the usual snarky college age staff who are obviously way too talented to be wasting their time serving buckets of mediocre shrimp to tourists like us...eye roll.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! There was more done wrong than right. Let me count the ways: -nobody came by our table for 15 minutes -our drinks sat on the bar for 10 min before I went and got them myself -I asked for water which never came. I finally went to the bar and asked for some -my son ordered a root beer. They brought a root beer float -I asked for dressing on the side. They mixed the dressing in -my son ordered popcorn shrimp from the kids menu but it showed up with fried peperocinnis in it and was spicey. They apparently gave him recipe from the adult appetizer menu. Disaster for a 10 year old finicky boy -I finished my glass of wine. Nobody asked me if I wanted another. We eat all the time. Literally the worst experience I can ever remember.

We ate here yesterday, a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Breckenridge. It was warm in the sun and after doing a lot of walking we were hungry and wanted something cool to drink. The front patio had nice shade and it was a good people watching spot. Our server was new and not very good. It took way tooooo long for the drinks and food orders. We were apprehensive about going to a chain place and were right. The mac n cheese with shrimp was appetizer was good, 3 of us shared it. We ordered a "Forrest's Seafood Feast," bad choice, it was mostly french fries, with way over battered fish pieces and a few shrimp. The drinks looked great but, were expensive and inconsistent. In addition to taking to long, I ordered the same drink twice and it did not taste the same. The table next to us came in and ordered a kids mac n cheese and one regular meal and a beer. The food came out before the beer and the keg was being changed. The order was wrong, it came out with chicken fingers and still no beer. So the poor guy is sharing his meal with his hungry kid and 20 mins plus and no beer. Waiter brings out a partially filled glass of beer and apologizes (really?). Finally the kids meal comes and fresh beer. The entire time that we had slow service, there were dirty tables around us and servers standing at the hostess desk chatting. Overall service was bad, food wasn't great and it was expensive.

Party of 7. After quick seating followed a whopping 90 minute wait for the food. Unbelievable. They kept apologizing and brought garlic bread twice. Offered to take one appetizer off the tab. My plate is even later still. 100+ minute wait for the last entree. They charged $4.99 for the garlic bread that they offered us while we waited--wow. We let it go because we needed to drive home before dark. (we would not have ordered the garlic bread). The food and the waitress were nice but the wait made us upset and changed the overall experience. P.S. We considered walking out during the wait but we are 2 hours away from home.

This was the most pathetic display of customer service that we have seen in a restaurant. We had been looking forward to a usual good meal at this restaurant. Walked in, had a totally disinterested host acknowledge us and point us to a booth. We sat there for at least fifteen minutes with no water, no menus and no recognition from any wait staff. Two other tables entered and were approached immediately but we were completely ignored. Eventually we walked out. Very disappointing after previous good Bubba Gump experiences.

Outstanding service and good food. We had a large group (20+), and we were seated promptly and had quick, friendly service. Waitress did some forest gump trivia while we waited for food, which made the time fly by.

The General Manager personally called me the next day and apologized for the service and invited us back with some complimentary menu items. I was impressed someone took the time to call me back. Any restaurant can have a bad day -- to me, it makes such a difference when a manager reaches out to make it right. Will definitely take the family back again.

The shrimp is so good, I can't get enough! I came here twice while visiting Breckenridge. The first time our order took a little long because they had a computer issue while the waitress was entering our order. So it took 5-10 minutes extra, no big deal, but they offered free desert as an apology. Apology wasn't needed...but it was delicious. The second time our waiter asked us all kinds of trivia about Forrest Gump, it was funny. They have great customer service!!

The food was okay not worth the money. The Cajun shrimp appetizer was overcooked but we still ate it, very good seasoning but overcooked. I got the shellfish steamer combo and it was also very tasty very well cooked. If I was only judging on food I would give a four star. Now the service was terrible we got our seats right away. But we had to wait 20 to 30 minutes to actually see our waitress. After getting us water it took another 10 to 15 to get our actual drinks. After we got our drinks it took us another 10 minutes to place our food orders. The food is definitely franchised and they just try to get you Hannah now unfortunately our waitress was slow as heck. The pricing for the food was pretty high for what you got. I don't know if that's because of the area or just the franchise politics. I will not return only due to service.

We arrived for happy hour. We called before arriving and were told they half priced appetizers. We were handed the menu and three apps looked good. We learned they have a happy hr menu and upon review it is all crap, except four the fried shrimp...until we received it. At least half of the order contained fried strips of red pepper, banana peppers,...and get this, lemon slices with seeds. Truly a first! My order of 2/3# of boiled shrimp was soggy and small. I understand Breckenridg is a long way from the coast, but I think I could have come up with fresher seafood from the local grocery store that would taste better. Overall really disappointed, but thankful we did not spend the money for dinner.

Deep-fried seafood at 10,000 feet! There is something odd about that. Yeah, its a chain restaurant, but there are only two in Colorado. Strange that one of them is in Breckenridge. "Hey everybody, lets go up to the ski slopes and have some good ol' fashioned southern fried shrimp!" hmmm... There is a large selection of seafood -- mostly shrimp, as you may expect. This is an ultra-casual restaurant with a Forrest Gump theme and shrimp prepared every way possible. The "Bucket of Boat Trash" includes quite a variety of food with fried shrimp, fish, crab legs, and sides of fries and coleslaw. This place is way bigger than it looks on the outside. There are two dining areas downstairs and one upstairs, along with a patio and a bar. The chance of getting a table without a wait is a little better here than most places in town.

I think my fondness for Bubba Gump's is all movie related. We had a very friendly waitress who recommended the Mango Mojito and it was possibly my favorite part of the meal. The food was good but so not worth the money in my opinion. When I spend sixty bucks on lunch I want to have been wowed and I really wasn't. We ordered Crab Stuffed Mushrooms that were swimming in oil. We also got Captain Dan's Drunken Shrimp which was ok but not something I'd order again. I really felt it needed something, heat or tang or something to make it interesting. And we ordered the Bucket Of Boat Trash which was also ok. The fish had great flavor but the rest was kindof eh. I wasn't very impressed and probably wouldn't go back unless someone I was with really really wanted to.

Terrible. Slowest place on Main Street and maybe in Colorado. After 40 minutes, just water. Never saw the drinks and food we ordered. We bailed. I dare you to go there and experience something better.

Waitress was super friendly! They have lots of sugary cocktails. I got the steamed shellfish. Everything in it was overcooked and the broth was bland. kinda tasted like lemony water. It is a franchise though, so don't expect the food to be much more than large portions of sustenance.

Being dragged here by a very un-adventurous group, it absolutely failed even my lowest expectations. Fish tacos were dry, almost inedible, served oddly with a plate of greasy fried tortilla chips, yet no salsa. Thankfully I at least had no need for the incredibly dirty silverware. Don't expect the usual Colorado selection of beers, despite there being a bar, but if you like Bud Light, Coors Light and that genre you'll be plenty satisfied. So many places to choose from in Breckenridge, and I'll not forgive my friends for bringing me here and wasting the opportunity for a better meal. If you've got kids, maybe it'll suit you, otherwise check out literally any other place in town

It is very cold outside but inside they warm you as a temperature of toast. This restaurant also takes about 3 minutes until they can get you a seat. They go to you and just asks you for the drinks instead of both asking you drink and food

Food was just okay. They forgot to put our appetizer in. There was only 2 other parties in the restaurant so there was no reason for poor service. Waitress took a cigarette break before closing us out so we had to get the manager to close us out. Would not go back.

This place has to get five stars just for the view I don't think most people know about the deck outback that has like 180° view of all the mountains! I had the New Orleans shrimp and I loved it. great comfort food, the drinks were good. Kasey the bartender was really nice I talked to everyone. It's also a really big restaurant so they can accommodate large parties. I had a great time at lunch on a beautiful day here!

"I may not be a chef, but I know what shrimp cocktail is..." We come to Breckenridge every year and our kids beg us to eat here. I've never had food complaints because I keep my expectations in line and stick with fried stuff. The bucket of boat trash used to be awesome on account of little "slipper lobster" bits that have since been replaced, first by lobster claws, now by snow crab. Last time I went (a year ago) prior to today's fresh review, they forgot my entire meal and served nine other people. They took 30 minutes to replace my meal and offered a chapstick for my trouble. I ate in the condo after the other 9 in my party ate at the table. The person who paid for the meal ended up complaining to their corporate office and got a bunch of condescending flak and some gift cards. I hate when managers argue and debate a customer experience or make excuses. I don't need a rebuttal, just make it right. This time, today I decided to get the "Shrimpers Heaven" and expected them to get the shrimp cocktail right after hearing another couple raving about it to the server. Nope. Nearly every shrimp was cut but not deveined. I'm not a vein snob when it comes to stocks and fried shrimp and whatever, but come on. With peel and eat shrimp it's a terrible thing to leave in. This is dirt and shrimp poop. You find it with your knife and take it out. Then you wash the shrimp if you can't cleanly remove the vein. They clearly couldn't as most veins were full and intact though some were smeared and looked like goose dung. We were very polite and just asked if the shrimp should be deveined. We weren't sarcastic or rude or rubbing faces in it. The manager stopped by only because the person who came to our table first was new and fearing the worst, vs just relaying our request. That's fine, I'm just clarifying that we didn't demand a manager or anything. The manager originally stopped at the wrong table because they also had the same shrimp and if I were in her place taking charge of my restauraunt, I would've asked to inspect their poopy shrimp too. Because 99 percent odds say it was the same and I guess a lot of folks don't know they are eating dirt and crap. The manager agreed that yes they should be deveined and asked me if I wanted more, or something else. I don't want to get all entitled here, but the way you handle this is by offering to replace the item and write it off the bill. Not the whole meal but let's say eight bucks off of the twenty it cost for the meal. Asking if I want something else infantilizes the customer as if they didn't know what shrimp cocktail is and are trying to weasel out of yucky food. I appreciate that it happens but clearly you are splitting the backs of these shrimp to give the impression they removed the crap and don't care enough to do it right. At least that's my impression. Suffice it to say the replacement shrimp was just as bad. Full intact veins in 4 of the shrimp and the rest I finished cleaning myself. Two were pasty and stale, one was brown and dirty all around. You get better shrimp pre frozen at the grocery story. I realize it's because they aren't turning over or exercising quality control on suppliers or kitchen. I left them at the table and opted not to engage with the manager who is too lazy to inspect food after a complaint and too powerless to offer a real compensation. The reason this place stinks is because they have a guaranteed flow of tourists who might never come back or have children who will beg them as we do. They stopped giving a rat's at least a year ago and being a chain restaurant I'd love to see them just choked out of Breckenridge. They deserve to fail. Our server was super nice and did a good job doing the trivia and such at around 1130am on a Sunday.

I really wish I could give this place a better review but I just can't. If I could give 2.5 stars I would. We went in for lunch on Thursday just before noon and since this is a really off peak season in Breckenridge we were the only customers there for quite awhile. Our server was attentive and helpful but it took way too long to get our food, which I am sure is a kitchen issue and not a server issue. My husband ordered the stuffed shrimp and it was prepared well and was really good. I ordered the shrimp New Orleans and I swear it was prepared by the evil twin of the person who made my husbands dish. For as long as it took to get our food I was surprised that the sauce on my shrimp was cool, not at all warm; the sauce also looked nothing like the picture in the menu; and the shrimp was so over cooked it was nearly shrimp jerky. The execution of the dish was terrible. We told our server and he apologized and asked if I wanted something different. I ordered the Shrimp Po'boy (which was ok, but nothing phenomenal.) The manager came over apologized, but they were acting like I just didn't like what I ordered and not wanting to hear that the food had been poorly prepared. My family ate while I waited for the second meal which is always fun because then they sit longer waiting for me to eat. When we got the bill they had taken off the Shrimp New Orleans with the reason "did not like taste" (yeah, I didn't like cold sauce on cremated shrimp) but they did charge me for the sandwich I was very surprised they didn't at least discount my portion of the bill. If they had handled the situation differently I think I would have left with a better impression because my husband's meal really was very good, but the way everything went was very disappointing.

We had a great time here for dinner with a group of 6. Our waiter was extremely nice and funny. Food was delicious! I highly recommend the coconut shrimp. The gumbo was really good too! This restaurant maybe a chain but did not fall short at all of good service and great food!

I had a grilled fish dish and it was pretty good but my husband and son had the bucket of trash and the looks on their faces as they ate it was priceless. Obviously a hit!

Service was great. We came in après ski on a Sunday evening. It was quiet. I really like the Run Forrest Run or Stop Forrest Stop Signs. Our server - Sean was informative of the movie and asked us a bunch of questions. Good stuff. We ordered the chowder to begin with. Pretty good and flavorful. I am a snob when it comes to chowder. For our entrees my husband and I ordered coconut shrimp with fries and my husband ordered the drunken shrimp. Both good. The seafood hit the spot as we were craving some all day.

Food was AMAZING. I recommend the shrimpers net catch. It was filling and enough for three. If i have one note, its that our waiter seemed unaware of anything on the menu so it was hard to know what was good. Other than that awesome!! The forest gump quotes on the table was so funny

Excellent place to go eat at a little town in Breckinridge Colorado. We enjoyed the appetizers and shrimp bruschetta. Service was great and the entrees were all excellent. Server forgot to mention that it was Landrys to add it to my card. But over all, love the old fashioned movie type restaurant .

Nice setup and location. Good mountain views from back porch. Food is fair at best. Service was okay, but not real attentive. Advertised Gump trivia, but saw or heard nothing about it. Very comparable to Joes Crab Shack. Big peel and eat shrimp, but not much flavor. (Added table-side salt and hot sauce). Nice store if you want a Gump Shirt or hat.

The food was ok, but our server Britt was SO nice and friendly. With pretty good food and prices and AWESOME service this place is definitely worth stopping by!

My experience here was the worst dining experience ever. I was visiting from Texas and decided to eat here since I have never been. Hospitality business is my specialty and have been working for a prestigious dining company for almost three years now. Problems: 1.) When we asked for a table the host suggested that we dined at the bar. Which we respectfully declined. Then he insisted that we go to the bar so being passive we decided to eat at the bar. 2.) We were not greeted. Greeting is very important it is the beginning of the dining experience it shows a connection between the waiter/waitress/tender and guests. 3.) When our food arrived we had to ask for table setting after our food was sitting in front of us for at least a minute. The first thing when your food arrives to your table you want to enjoy the flavors and a hospitality member should have recognized that we did not have equipment. 4.) No one asked how our meal was. This to me is a huge problem which is why it's by its self. Our food was extremely cold by the way. 5.) Payment. A easy way for a guest to sign a hospitality member fast payment is to set your card on the table in clear sight. I had my card setting out for a minimum of ten minutes. Finally I decided to ask the manager to pay us out. When he set the cards down there was no conclusion or a Thank You. If we would have had one person show that they cared about our dining experience I would not have posted this comment that's how brutal this establishment was from the second we walked in from the second we walked out.

We visited in offseason in October. Service was ok for offseason but food was sub par. We have eaten at Bubbae Gump all over including NY and Hawaii. This one lacked the quality of the others. We ordered coconut shrimp and sub mash potatoes for fries. The coconut shrimp came out dark and over fried to the point of nearly burned. And we got fries. Sent it back and got the mashed potatoes and a new batch of fried coconut shrimp and it was again nearly burned. The mashed potatoes were so dense and just tasted like they had sat in a bowl for a long time before reheated and served. You know how you can tell it's not fresh tasting and lacks something important? That's how these were. They were not fluffy or tasty. Now that said the others in our group had good peel and eat shrimp and good tempura shrimp. Time was also an issue. It took 30 min for our food to come out after ordering and there were only 5 other tables in the entire place with customers at 6:30pm. Not good.

(2)Bryan J.
Six of us dined at Gump's after the Santa race. Although the place was hopping we were immediately seated and our food come out quickly. Everyone ordered a different dish and all the food met or exceeded expectations. Our waiter was attentive. We will be back.
(5)Kitty L.
This place doesn't even worth one star. Horrible service. Waited for an hour for food. That is before I get the waitress to check on the food. This place is small. My group of friends are separated into 2 two tables. My friends already finished and paid. My table was still waiting. Other tables who came after us already finished and paid. Just bs.
(1)Stephanie L.

(2)Dean K.
(4)Edward W.
(4)Doug F.
The service was great, but the food lacked flavor and the po-boy sandwich was poorly constructed. Would not recommend this restaurant if you are looking for good seafood.
(2)Mat M.
Went in for Dinner on a Saturday. The food was decent however I have never seen such poor service. It took them 20 mins just to get a refill of water. The manager and staff truly did not care. I will never go back here again No point is giving people money to ignore you - There are many better options in Breck.
(1)Pam B.
(3)L H.
This is maybe a gracious four stars. Don't get me wrong, I've never had a bad experience here. The food has always been good, but not outstanding. The service is consistently very good and it's a nice atmosphere. I continue to go back often and it is the best seafood place in town in my experience.
(4)Jay C.
Food was fine, but I will skip the national chain next time I am in Breckenridge. Lot of better locally owned places. Staff was excellent and very attentive. Just too much of a Phony chain atmosphere for my tastes.
(2)Michael W.
Good food but not great. I think the portions are small for the money. We all had shrimp and found it good but not great.
(3)Kim R.
(4)Evelyn P.
The food was ok although it was high priced for what you were getting. The atmosphere was entertaining for the kids.
(3)Debra A.
We stopped in here for a snack and to just sit on the outdoor patio! We had the clam chowder soup which was very good and the service was friendly and quickly served us. They have a great bar area and make lots of cocktails to choose from so a fun place to go.
(4)Nancy B.
(5)Robert D.
(1)David T.
(1)Pam V.
(4)Ron K.
Stopped here with some friends while we were out riding with some friends. I have never had such poor service and lack of caring as well as attention from the wait staff in a restaurant ever in my life. The staff appeared to careless. I will never go back here again
(1)Jack P.
(3)Saluda F.
Average for chain. Mostly fried food.
(3)Courtney H.
Ask for Josh if you come in. He was very quick and attentive and funny! Food came quick and was hot. Great food and great service! Maybe the trick is to come in the middle of the afternoon when it's not busy haha. It's a little pricey but good!
(4)Stacey K.
Our waitress did show up later to clear our plates that we were not yet finished with, but never apologized for the salad screw up
(1)L W.
Would not recommend this location. The manager was not accommodating on a vet simple request. Food was avg at best
(1)Dave M.
(1)Sharie F.
Loved the novelty of the place. BUT.....The food left a whole lot to be desired. Very overpriced, and horrible tasting. The breading on the shrimp was aweful. The fish tempura was tasteless. We would not return.
(1)Drew Z.
Chain restaurant but one of the better patios in Breck. A little strange to have seafood in the mountains. A little strange to go to a chain in such a independent friendly town, but all in all a good experience and especially nice to sit outside and look at the mountains.
(4)Renee W.
(4)Jamie S.
(1)David C.
Nothing too special, decent food for brickenridge price

(4)Terry K.
There were 6 in our group and we had a variety of appetizers and entrees. The food was excellent and the service was great!
(5)Riza H. C.
(2)Susan C.
If you have a craving for fried food go here. Although a bit bland I didn't find it greasy at all,an acceptable easy quick dinner
(3)Marcel B.
Spent the day in Breck walked by w family and decided to stop in for lunch. Excellent friendly service. Good food. Gumbo. Fish and chips and shrimp. Kids had Mac and cheese. Everyone was happy. Would return
(4)Rebecca J.
(1)Elena L.
Very expensive for the amount of food u get. My gumbo shrimp appetizer was soaked in butter, shrimps were very tiny. Shrimp scampi was good but portion was very small. Best part of my meal was the blueberry smoothie. We won't be going back.
(2)Sam H.
(3)Stephen Z.
Horrible food horrible service we went there (diddent want to) and it was the worst $70 ever spent i know bubba gump is a tourist thing and all but for the rest of my life I will tell everyone I know how horrible this place is!!!
(1)Chuckie G.
(3)Julie K.
(2)Elizabeth N.

Good food, good prices. Other great places nearby too.

Nice back patio

Waited forever to get seated, then once we were seated took forever to get our drinks. We ordered salads and didn't get them until AFTER our meals came out! Waitress was rude and just took forever with everything. Food was not worth the money we paid.

The service was great, and the food was amazing! We would definitely go back and will definitely recommend to friends that will be heading to Breck in the future!!!

After waiting 20 minutes without even a water served, we walked out. Dozens of servers walked by without even an acknowledgement for 20 minutes.

I always love these fun consumer theme things. The food is good and they keylime pie is amazing.

(1)David S.
Waitress was super friendly! They have lots of sugary cocktails. I got the steamed shellfish. Everything in it was overcooked and the broth was bland. kinda tasted like lemony water. It is a franchise though, so don't expect the food to be much more than large portions of sustenance.
(2)Simon C.
(1)Steven G.
It is very cold outside but inside they warm you as a temperature of toast. This restaurant also takes about 3 minutes until they can get you a seat. They go to you and just asks you for the drinks instead of both asking you drink and food
(1)Dominick M.

(5)Dee W.
I had a grilled fish dish and it was pretty good but my husband and son had the bucket of trash and the looks on their faces as they ate it was priceless. Obviously a hit!
(4)Nicole P.

Not the best food but if you liked Forrest Gump, kind of fun trivia experience
(2)Claire W.

(5)Terry L.
(3)Danika D.

Not good.
