Most mediocre breakfast ever. Nothing was bad but nothing was really good either between the omelet, Benedict and French toast. Two stars for fast friendly service. Does not accept credit cards. We will skip this place next time around.

Fantastic breakfast burrito with tasty tenerloins. The service was accommodating considering we had a large group of 12 to host. I will be back next time I am in town. The Egg dishes were great. Our group did not recommend the french toast or pancake dishes as they were similar to what I cook up at home. Fun local resturaunt. .

Okay delicious and fast breakfast! It's at the end of main st...it's a cute old timey place. They only accept cash or checks, however the restaurant has an ATM. Family friendly cute little place!!!! They sell cute tie-die shirts. Everything is very well priced considering it's in a ski resort town. Fabulous!

Waited 40 minutes for an order of bacon and an order of home fries. I had to ask the waitress several times for my food. Other people were seated after us and received their food and paid their bill before my food even arrived. Potatoes were served with paprika, which I am highly allergic to. Waitress didn't even ask if I wanted anything else and did not offer to remake them. Food was average. Go elsewhere!

Everything was pretty good and service was fast! I gave only 4 stars because they don't take credit/debit cards...so we had to use the ATM inside and pay a fee. Made it difficult for a business breakfast in which they want us to use a company card.

I'm honestly very surprised the ratings aren't higher for this place! I come here almost every week or other week and get the veggie eggs Benedict, my boyfriends gets the same. We always really enjoy the food, atmosphere and employees. The best eggs benny I've gotten in town and the prices are fair too.

Service was poor, waiter didn't check back on us after we got our food, only came back to drop the check. We ordered the Bacon Benny and Loop- bacon was bad, the worst hollandaise sauce I've ever had, scrambled eggs were served cold. Two stars because it was still edible (we were starving). I would skip this place.

When I vacation, I breakfast, so it's no surprise I ended up at the Blue Moose on my trip to Breck. It's a little greasy spoon, cash-only joint. A little on the pricy side ($10 for standard breakfast fare) but they don't skimp on the portions at least. Water was on the table when we arrived, and coffees came quickly. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. I ordered the ham scram (scrambled eggs with diced ham cubes and shredded cheese). This also came with home fries (or grits) and toast. My husband ordered some combo plate with eggs, pancakes, and ham. My ham scram was pretty darn good, but that may have been because it was covered in cheese (amazing). Potatoes were only so-so though - zero seasoning. I also tried my husband's pancake and it was fluffy but kind of tasteless. (Also - if you want real Vermont syrup on your pancakes it's an extra $3 which seems excessive!) The two full serve breakfast places in Breck are Blue Moose and Columbine cafe - and I have to say I prefer the food at CC. But, Blue Moose on its own is pretty solid, and I would be willing to return.

Good location, a greeter who was on top of it and had an orange juice before I got to my table after I used the ATM! After I sat down, I watched people come into the empty restaurant for about 5 minutes. Those people sat for about three minutes, before there order was taken. I was ignored continuously, and was contemplating leaving after 10 minutes of nothing*, before the host said the waitress would be right with me. I decided to wait, and it was another 5 minutes before a waitress who seemed like she had no time for me came over, no apology for the long wait, took my order, and left. I had ordered the bagel sandwich and it was pretty good. Overall, I'm really disappointed in the service (1.5 stars). Food is about 3.5. Nothing to write home about. *There are lots of coffee creamers at the table, so you can at least bide your time making mini forts!

Blue moose, not sure where the name comes from, but their breakfast really hit the spot. Looking for another local joint to try, we stumbled upon a mass of people at 8 am, usually a good sign for restaurants...we hit a winner here. Breakfast and lunch are all they do here, and they do it well. Plenty of seating us of the patio kind, but inside also has lots of seating. We were immediately sat, even though the places looked packed, we were glad, because we were hungry. The place has all the breakfast favorites, plus several Mexican influenced dishes, chorizo, tortilla, and salsa make great breakfast combinations. We ordered, and it seemed like 5 minutes later the food arrived. Everything was made as requested, but the bacon and chorizo were especially tasty, not sure why, but it was very good. Eggs are eggs, that's why breakfast with a twist is always good...give blues moose a try, it'll start your day off right.

Loved this place! Hearty portions, tons of options, really tasty, and easy if you're gluten free. I had a western omelet (on point), my brother loved the rosti, dad loved the steak omelet. The eggs Benedict also got great reviews.

Stayed up the street from Blue Moose one weekend and thought we'd give this place a go for breakfast. Firstly, they operate with a Cash Only policy. Secondly, they set their tables with ONE Water Pitcher indicating a poor service approach will be used during your early morning meal. Thirdly, not to my surprise, their service was horrific. You've been warned. Allow me to be brief. - We waited 8.5 minutes before the server's initial greeting. Off the bat we had to immediately ask for a Water Pitcher refill a we waited so long and there was four of us. She rolled her eyes and replied "Guess you guys are ready to order?" Good morning to you too! - Food arrived (pointedly, I ordered a loaded breakfast burrito) and there was little-to-no cheese. So, I politely requested more cheese. The server answers - and I quote - "Go ask the Chef for cheese?" Yes, you rude woman you, please go ask Chef for more cheese... What's the issue here? - Later, same server, overheard the very end of my sentence to MY friends sitting at MY table "But since I'm not permitted cheese at this establishment..." and she comes MARCHING over (without having to waive her down for a change) and interrupts to say "It's not that you can't have more cheese. I got you some, and for free." Oh, so wait - you did your job of fulfilling your guest's request? The job that I'm paying your for? Not to mention, I never said I wouldn't pay for the cheese! - And, I'm sure you're all wondering if the experience improved toward the end of the meal? NOPE. One of my friends asked for split checks because there was an obvious difference in payment and she said "I'll try to" before storming away... It's a Cash Only restaurant with written checks - again, what's the dilemma? And to the Management reading this: I'd GLADLY point out which server it was next time I'm in Breck. It's sad that you allow your staff to treat your guests in such a manner.

The restaurant had nice menu but the food was just average. I found the coffee too watery, the eggs fairly bland...the french toast was good but not as great as advertised. The best part was that we got in and out quickly and it had great service! I would recommend the restaurant for kids or if other places are too crowded.

Great place for breakfast. Pros: farm fresh ingredients. Big fluffy pancakes and cinnamon raisin french toast are made to perfection. Add some of their bacon and eggs and hot chocolate and you have a perfect breakfast in my book. Some other higligts are bloody moose mary and Mimosa. They have other good choices like biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls, and a large selection of Mexican breakfast items like chorizo and huevos Rancheros. Location right on Main St and their own parking lot is another plus. Cons: not the food, but they don't take credit cards. They do have an ATM. They are only open til 1pm so no breakfast for dinner here which is a shame because it's that good!

Had an amazing breakfast in Breckenridge. I ordered the Neptune; which consisted of eggs Benedict with crab meat and covered in hollandaise sauce. Everything was hit and fresh when you ordered. Would definitely recommend.

I feel like a execution in game theory, economics, or something is needed for any restaurant that doesn't allow me to use a credit card.Yes they offer an ATM (with a fee) how very nice of them. Welcome to 1980 Blue Moose Restaurant. I understand there is a fee (interchange) but guess what, all your competitors charge it too. So why not move up the menu items 1.5-3% (just like everyone else including McDonalds) and accept credit cards. I mean really. . .just not having to go to the bank as often with big bags of cash seems like it pays off. The only reason I would note to avoid credit cards and go cash if the Blue Moose is perhaps a mafia front for some backwoods moonshine people. I guess anything is possible. Regardless - the food was decent enough, though there are better options in Breckenridge. We got a wide variety of pancakes, eggs, scrambles, and coffee. Service was very spotty with refills. . .but otherwise the food came out nice and hot. I would warn against this place, if you have an allergy. They weren't helpful at all (let me check/here is what we think) instead they sounded like I was talking to a chain pizza place. . .Legal COYA - we make no guarantees everything made in facilities with nuts. Seriously, all it requires is soap and water between batches. overall - I'll pass.

Very spacious and perfect for large groups. Giving it an extra star for the wide array of brunch options and choices. (I love my optionality!) Food was up to par, but nothing mind-blowing. Waitress was kind enough to split checks for us because it wasn't too busy. Note that substitution of fruit or cottage cheese for potatoes is an extra $1 (somehow I missed that on their menu).

Coming from Texas, where everything is bigger, the pancakes were BIG!!! And oh so yummy! I had the spicy Bloody Mary but I have has spicier. Still this place is cute and Karen, our waitress was awesome and friendly. I will come here again when we come back to Breck.

The Blue Moose won't leave you feeling blue... Awesome awesome place for breakfast! It's one of our favorite places. Nice people, good food, large portions. What more can you ask for?

Average breakfast items and maybe slightly overpriced. Initially service was slow to take our order but they compensate us with delivering the food extremely fast. I ordered a mimosa which was served in a water pint glass full of ice. After being asked how my meal was I mentioned to the waitress that I would have preferred my mimosa in a champagne glass without ice. Just to provide some constructive feedback. I was rudely told that I could do that when I opened my own restaurant. Really? I will not come back to this place!

Always have a wonderful breakfast here. Large helpings of yummy food. Great raisin bread French toast. The staff are lovely always very upbeat and friendly. Bit of a wait on weekends but well worth it!!
One of my favorite places in Breckenridge to have breakfast. It's super duper casual...think diner style. The coffee is bottomless and organic (and one of the better beans I've had in a restaurant that didn't serve lattes or cappuccinos). If you sit at the right table you can look out the window and see the top of peak 9 (winter white runs in the winter). I recently had the french toast and it was delicious! You can upgrade for pure maple syrup if you want but I found the regular syrup good. I got a side of Potatoes and although they could have used a bit more seasoning, I'd order them again. In previous visits I've had the eggs and bacon combo. The bacon is done crispy and the eggs are fresh. Service is excellent!!

Great place for breakfast! The food was delicious, service was great, atmosphere just ok (but not a problem when the food was that good).

We shared the 2 egg biscuit and gravy dish ~ biscuits were extremely dry and a smidgeon of gravy was not enough to help. This is a tourist town most restaurants have exceptionally friendly wait people - not this one. Had she been half way polite & warm this may have rated 3 stars.

As a Breck local the Blue Moose is one of my favorite breakfast spots. The staff is welcoming and efficient at getting people in and out without making you feel rushed. The food is good, the coffee is great, and we were well attended by our server during our last visit. Our food came quickly and upon hearing that it was my daughter's birthday...several servers stopped to wish her a "Happy Birthday," and then the staff came by the table to sing and deliver a cinnamon roll. Dreams coming true for a 6 year old. They went the extra mile... my family always enjoys our breakfast dates to the Blue Moose.

Best place in town for breakfast. Best coffee and omelets! And yes this is a cash only business! For those who complain about cash only - get a life! Fees that credit card companies charge a business for that usage is outrageous! Why do you think gas stations offer a discount if you pay with their cash cards?
(5)
Lacey R.
I can't understand how the Blue Moose has bad reviews! Stayed nearby in Breck and noticed that it was only open for breakfast and lunch. To me, that is usually the sign of a great meal and it was! Went right when it opened so my husband could get on the slopes early and it filled up pretty fast. As we were seated we were asked about coffee, and our server came over pretty quickly as well. The food was fantastic and the coffee was perfect. Yes, it's cash only, but get over yourself a lot of places with a smaller operation are! Sheesh. I loved it so much I got a shirt and a mug to commemorate our visit. Keep it up Moose!

Super casual place to have breakfast. Super friendly people. Amazing view! Oh....and CASH ONLY. The food is really good but the prices are a little steep. For two of us to have breakfast (Hubs had eggs, bacon and toast and I had the breakfast sandwich with a side of fruit) with one bloody mary and one mimosa, it was over $55. A sign on the wall promotes adding real Vermont syrup for $3. Who pays that much for syrup? Definitely not what I was expecting by the looks of this casual place! We probably won't be back but the people were SO incredibly nice there. And...it was a great breakfast sandwich!

The perfect breakfast spot. Great coffee, lightning fast service, and easy parking right in front. My companion's eggs over medium were done perfectly, the bacon was generous and delicious, and my STS scramble was just as I ordered it. They even turned down the music for us. The portions were just the right size and we left with full, happy tummies.

Please, if you're going to spend THIS much money on food- Go somewhere else. The food isn't bad but... For a $15-$20 you could be eating better quality ( & quantity ) food elsewhere. I considered getting a bloody Mary, or mimosa but for $9?! No thanks. The coffee, however, is fantastic!

Best place to help add on your winter layer! Yummy breakfast/brunch! The House Fries are always a yes! It's CASH only but worth it!

For as busy as they were we were seated within the amount of time they said we would. Service was terrific and so was the food. I had the Brie and Ham omelette whereas my wife had the tradition eggs bene. They have a good selection of bloodies to accompany.

best place in all of summit county for breakfast. Cash only and the coffee and bacon eggs Benedict is to die for. I go here almost every morning. $14 for my coffee and bacon Benny

The Minturn: Two pancakes (I chose one wheat and one buttermilk - I would have chosen two buttermilk instead). Sausage - Greasy goodness! Tasted great that early in the morning =). Scrambled eggs - Just OK, these are hard to mess up. We stopped in to the Blue Moose for our last breakfast in Breckenridge before flying back to California! The buttermilk pancakes were really good but I didn't like how they charged extra for REAL maple syrup. It kind of makes me wonder what kind of generic sugary stuff they left at our table. It wasn't that sweet so I found myself constantly pouring more on to get some of that maple flavor. The place can get pretty crowded and it's another one of those cash only places so leave your plastic at home! This place seems really popular for a breakfast joint and I'd definitely recommend it if you're out and about in the town and craving pancakes. The rest of it is just pretty regular except for the cool tie dye shirts they sell.

The very best! Never let down. When you only have a pocket full of cash to spend and no debit card, it's nice to see Cash Only! Awesome food, great service. Last time I went was 15 years ago. And in July of 2014 was just what I had remembered top notch! Keep it up blue moose.

Great atmosphere - every breakfast item you could ever want on the menu. Steak was tough! Waitress was awesome!
(4)

Food was awesome. Staff was friendly. Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is for little things, like not takin credit cards, and the hall to the bathroom is a little tight. But it's a great place and we will definitely go back.

Punam D.
Came here for breakfast a couple of days ago for breakfast. The staff are very friendly and it's clean and appealing busy. We asked for recommendations and had the Huevos Rancheros and the Rosti. They were both okay, nothing outstanding. The coffee was very good though. Park & Main is a much better breakfast experience.

everything we had was AMAZING. cheap enough to get breakfast here everyday, and if I lived in breck, I would. coffee from pot was great as well, which is rare to find. 2 eggs, bacon, home fries, wheat toast & unlimited coffee for 9 bucks...Like I said, will be back every morning when I am in Breck,

Yelpers, listen to previous reviews. This place looks great but fails to deliver. Trying to flip tables too fast, very low quality diner food, really have nothing good to say. I sent my food back, my so kept spitting his old potatoes out, even my husband didn't finish his. There has to be better breakfast in Breck...McDonald's?

Great view of mountains and wonderful breakfast. This sits just across the street from the art festival. It definitely gets crowded there so be patient.

Very yummy breakfast. I had huevos rancheros...it was one of the best I've had. The servers are great and very friendly. Service is pretty fast. Would come back for sure. I only gave 4 stars because they don't take credit or debit cards.

Great breakfast, lots of menu choices so everyone in the family will find something to eat. Just to note that they take cash only for payment. Will definitely be back!
(5)

My scramble was very good, and the folks here are super friendly. Warning though, this place is FILLED with big families with tons of kids, some ill behaved. And they only take cash which is highly annoying (probably more so to the IRS) And the parking lot is terrible. But for breakfast out side of a pricy lodge, this is a good bet.

Visiting from Iowa where it can be tough to find good green chili. I had the huevos with chorizo and pork green chili, it was fantastic! Good heat level and the green chili and chorizo worked great together. I like a big breakfast but had a hard time finishing the whole thing. Highly recommend.

First let me say we've been coming to Breck for years & stay @ Hyatt across street but seldom eat breakfast out. This AM we decided to give it a try. We were not impressed. The service was very good but the cuisine was not memorable. Wife had veggie plate that was so-so & I had their signature omelet which was dry & not particularly flavorful. We may try again, but there are other breakfast places in town.

Stefan L.
Great food. Fast service. Tip: cash only, but they have an ATM right next to the register

Very good breakfast at a reasonable price for Breckenridge. I had the French loop - two eggs, sausage and French toast. The sausage links were really good. My husband had the Huevos Chorizo and really enjoyed it as well. The coffee was as good as others had stated. Cash only. Service was prompt and friendly, really had no complaints. We will probably go again before heading home to Florida.
(4)
Scott R.
We were seated right away and the place was almost 100% full. Coffee was good, not great. Omelet was good not great, Staff was very friendly and the food came out fairly quickly for how busy they were. Hash browns we not crispy enough for my likings but overall a decent meal.
(3)
Rob B.
Great breakfasts - especially the huevos rancheros & chorizo scramble. Service is attentive and prompt. Coffee's good but nothing remarkable, better coffee might get them the 5th start. Beware - cash only!

Tried x2 while visiting during the summer. The second time wasn't as impressive because it was very busy, they skipped us by 3 groups, others were too (they need a better system) and we finally sat down after I checked how much longer, which they didn't mention we were missed but I looked at the list and we were scratched off but obviously not seated. We were right in front waiting and listened to everyone else being called. The waiting area is not great when busy because there is none, ends up being outside by the parking lot, forces all the people waiting to be right by you if you're table is outdoors, no exaggerations because the cars ended up parking right in front when they really shouldn't have done. The 5 front parking spots were handicap and they all had very capable people coming out of those cars. The food came out after a while, okay tasting. It's breakfast, so shouldn't be hard. My eggs were almost cold already, potatoes were kind of bland and coffee didn't taste as great as the day before. The water is self service which is fine except it was empty and had to wait a while until refilled and being the sun out while sitting outside, it was hot. And then it ended up raining, so our daughters halfway finished their meals but my husband and I mostly finished our meal. That's how our second visit ended. Sorry, this is not much a review of how the food is but an atmosphere and service is a big deal in eating out during vacation and this didn't do so well. The staff is mostly pleasant, except for one dark, curly haired lady who is not so much, she's borderline rude. Both our waitresses were great, the one today was just overwhelmed. I recommend going during slow hours.

Great little breakfast place in Breck. I had one of my favorite dishes, chorizo and eggs, and it was exactly what I hoped for. It comes with cream cheese standard, which is a bit strange, so I changed it to cheddar with no problems. The chorizo wasn't very spicy, but was tasty and wasn't greasy. Everyone else in our group looked to have a very delicious breakfast as well. My brother had an omelet and it was one of the most stuffed and delicious looking omelets I've seen. Be advised that you'll probably have to wait a bit to get a seat. And as others have noted, it's cash only. The service was very friendly. The manager (or owner?) who was taking names noticed our Polish last name and chatted us up about his family's history coming from Poland, which was neat. Friendly, warm, and tasty is my abridged review for those with short attention spans.

Didnt think was any pizazz to their eggs Benedict , pretty disappointing cash only, who brings cash on vacation

What a great place for breakfast!! This location came highly recommended from the locals. They were busy, but very accommodating for our group of 6 this morning. We thoroughly enjoyed - Vegetarian Eggs Benedict - West Coast Omelette - Bloody Mary's (excellent and spicy) - Coffee (quite good) Yes, it is cash only. But I am sure everyone has been to more than one restaurant that has this policy. Know and plan ahead.

Hmm, always amazes me how some restaurants have such a mix of reviews. We arrived here for breakfast on a Saturday morning around 10:00 and there were at least 16 people waiting and all tables full inside and out. We all noted quickly this was a cash only restaurant, no big deal. The staff told us we would be seated shortly, so we thought it would take at least a half hour. Within 15 minutes, one of the waitresses told us she could seat us at two 4-tops but I noticed a large group getting ready to leave from an outside table. I pointed it out and she said no problem and they quickly cleared the tables and seated us. The service was great and our meals came out quickly. The juevos rancheros were superb and the view was great too. Would definitely eat here again, but note they have a very small parking lot and we had to street park a few blocks away.

I'm afraid I can't go back to the Moose after my last experience. It was truly disappointing and the food felt like it was over processed. I think the eggs were fake, and the potatoes were like something I could have bought at City Market and cooked in my oven, but greasier. They only accept cash, which can be annoying too, and you have to walk across to Main St. Station to get it. Not fun. I am giving up on eating out to Breakfast in this town.

Mediocrity at its most mediocre. Oh where to begin... - Bland, uninspired food. Coffee was burned beyond recognition. Portions were small, although not tiny. - Obscenely overpriced for the level of cuisine (and I use that term loosely) offered. - Service was just "meh"...Not terribly fast, but admittedly adequate. - Owner also made it abundantly clear he's on a personal (and highly politicized) jihad against "evil" credit card companies...Hence the idiotic cash-only policy. I literally watched a dozen people walk away upon reading the sign stating the policy (...BTW, simply brilliant business strategy...). I'm a regular in Breck (Vail Resorts season pass holder), and have eaten at a wide variety of local establishments. Honestly, I've had far better food and service at even a truck stop, Denny's or Village Inn. My suggestion: try somewhere else, like Spencer's in Beaver Run right up the hill (great breakfast/lunch, including a buffet).

We wanted a casual laid back sunday breakfast... Let me start out by saying I'm from New York, I travel a significant amount for work all over the country, and spend several weekends a year up in the Colorado mountains. I've used to paying for what I order. 1. Cash only, knew that going in, breakfast for two on a sunday morning, no booze, I had 47$ in my pocket, thought, I should be just fine. 2. Ordered two coffees, two egg white omletes, both omletes with no potatos, one with a cup of fruit, the other with wheat toast. Bill total? $38 and change. Pricing gouging, $2.50 each for drip coffee, got charged $5 for the tiny cup of fruit with the first omlete that had no other sides. Cashier felt that the extra $5 charge for fruit cup was acceptable, ruined our experience. I've had better meals for less money at a Ritz. Would have been 0 or 1 star, but the omletes were very good.

There are not a lot of great breakfast places in Breck, which helps the Blue Moose stand out. I've had many a breakfast here. It's always been good, never great. It's a good, consistent place where you won't go wrong, but I've not been wowed either.

Decided to try this place when we were in Breckenridge for an overnight in August 2012. Great food, good service. They were very busy on a Saturday morning but seated us right away and the drinks and food came right out. Portions were very large and the food was tasty. They have seating both inside and out but we picked inside, which was good because most of the screaming children were outside. (It is a family restaurant after all. We expect kids but prefer not to have to sit next to them if they're being loud). Seconding what others said about the no credit card policy however - make sure you have cash as they do not take credit cards. There is a sign by the door but we did not see it, so it was a surprise when we paid. Luckily we had enough cash or that would have been embarrassing as you just don't expect a restaurant in the middle of a tourist town not to take credit cards.
(4)
Peter M.
We stood there like idiots while the staff completely ignored us for about five minutes, despite actively trying to engage one of them to get seating - or at least on some kind of waiting list. It was pretty packed. Turned out great, though, because we left and went down the street to Daylight Donuts, which was awesome. Still, menu is pricier, but looks appetizing. Maybe next time.

Busy place but to be expected with the great food and friendly staff. Coffee is organic and strong. Different types of bloody Mary's. Husband had eggs Benedict and I had huevos rancheros, both were amazing. Will def go back.

Mega Bucks didn't have my normal yogurt and fruit parfait for my morning not at home breakfast, so we had to find some place else for me to fill my picky and low calorie palette! We walked main street enjoying each others company and looking for goodies till we got back to the end! I had read about Blue moose so decided it was a good local for us to do breakfast! Be aware - cash only!!!!!! Usually a problem for us, but for some reason we were destined to eat here today! I went with the veggie benedict and wow was that an amazing meal! I went with the sauce on the side just so I could control some of what went down my throat! Hubby did the ham and cheese scramble! We both really enjoyed our meals! The nice thing was the carafe of water on the table! Love to keep my water full!! Hubby did orange juice and we left satiated and happy!! Great location if you happen to be staying at the base of peak 9! We went around 11 am and had no problem getting a table!

Very cool little breakfast place. I had pancakes which were good but the real treats are the egg burritos that are AWESOME. Great place to get filled up prior to the slopes but be fore warned this place gets very busy
(4)
Aaron F.
This is a great place for a cheap breakfast on your way to the slopes. BUT, what you do is call ahead and place your order. Because the line is longer than it takes to actually make your egg and bacon English muffin sandwich ($2.93.) Just call up, drive over, walk right past all those peeps hungrily waiting, stand to the left of the register and tell the pretty girl you're there to pickup your order. You can even throw in one of their many heavenly baked goods to stick in your ski jacket pocket for later. In and out --- 2 mins.

Crunchy granola heaven for breakfast! Loved it this morning. Their organic coffee rocked. French toast eggs and bacon great. Not expensive---cash only. Everyone was super friendly.

The Blue Moose - a great name! We had breakfast here twice during our trip to Breckenridge. Enjoyed it so much the first time we brought friend with us later in the week. The food was fantastic and the wait staff very nice. A perfect diner-style American breakfast joint. I had the biscuits and gravy on the first try and pancakes and eggs the second time back. My wife raved about the veggie green chili. Food came out perfect each time. The restaurant is very popular at breakfast and we waited both times for a table. Also, they are cash only but have an ATM inside. Four star - would have been five if they took plastic!

Great breakfast joint, the portions are massive. Staff is awesome and food and coffee are great!!! The only take "cash" kind of odd this day in age. Only reason I did not give them 5 stars.

I really like this place. Excellent breakfast. Ok, on weekends this place is slammed busy. You are going to wait 30 minutes for a table. So walk next door to Avalanche sports and check out some new gear. Once you get the table expect another 15 minutes for your food to arrive. Get the eggs benedict, denver omlette, or anything that has a mexican twist on it such as huevo's rancheros. Don't be too quick to order alcohol though. The bloody marys and mimosas are priced at nearly $10! There is a sign on the wall that say's "worlds best bloody mary" do not be fooled - it's not even close. Try A-Basin or Angel's Hollow for that. A mimosa is never worth $10 unless I get the whole bottle put right next to me. Back to the food. Always awesome - fresh, seasonal and lots of options for veggies and non-starches. This place is family friendly and they will accommodate groups by pushing tables together. I live on the opposite end of town and sometimes pass several other options while heading here and never look back. Enjoy!

We decided to come here to avoid the crap-tastic hotel buffet. It was pricey but well worth it for a good meal before hitting the slopes. The pancakes are yummy and the egg sandwich and home fries were rockin' as well. The veggie scramble looked delish for the vegetarians as well. Yummy coffee and pulpy OJ were also a plus... Topped off with friendly and efficient service! Just a heads up... it is CASH ONLY.

This place was exactly what we were looking for on a Saturday morning. Great food and a good Bloody Mary. Coffee needs to be a little stronger. Servers were very polite and friedly.

Comparable to Dennys. Not great, but decent. A lot of the small mountain towns have a really good breakfast place. I've yet to find one in Breckenridge. But this is not bad. One note, if you ask for sourdough toast, they charge extra for that and still give you wheat toast, with the waitress insisting it's sourdough.

Everything we ordered was pretty good. I had the burrito and my wife ordered the west coast omelette. I loves my burrito and she said her omelette was pretty good. We also ordered the smoothie and cinnamon roll which were both delicious. Had a small family fill to it which was nice as well. Would defiantly suggest for breakfast or brunch one morning.

I went here for breakfast on the recommendation of some friends today and ordered an egg sandwich. The food was ok but over priced. The waitress was very nice and the food came relatively quick. The home fries were very good and I find it interesting that they are steamed instead of fried. I find it odd that they do not take credit cards but meh it is whatever. If you are in the area and want a place to eat this place will suffice however I would not recommend going out of your way to eat here as it is nothing special.

The food is really good, especially the wide selection for a diner-style restaurant. The food is pricey, and they don't take credit cards.

staff is friendly, coffee is decent, the food left much to be desired. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was smothered in pork chili. I was hoping for the chili to be inside the burrito so i can eat a burrito the proper way, with my bare hands. Also not much substance for such a huge burrito, couldnt really taste any meat, seemed like it was just tortilla and egg. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing, but if I ever set foot in there again Im going to have to find something else to order.

Ate here because Columbine's was too busy. Convenient location, weird patio (right into the parking lot). They seated us pretty quickly for a full day. Servers were attentive, during the beginning. Food came quickly, and then we opened the butter packets to butter our toast and pancakes. UGH!! Congealed, dried, crusty butter. When we FINALLY were able to get the server's attention again (which was, btw, after we'd finished, my wife ate her toast dry because she's a sweetheart and didn't want to bother the waitress), she said... ...wait for it... ..."Hmm... you know, there's nothing wrong with it. In Europe, they don't even refrigerate butter..." No way! I mean, I did live there for three years, but... please, tell me more. No apology, nothing. And, btw, butter can be stored at room temp for a week or two (below 80 F) as long as air's not getting to it. This butter was sitting in the Breck sun for HOURS (probably not the first day, either). Disgusting. Couldn't believe the gall she had, or the general lack of concern she wore. Told the harried owner / manager, and he was like, "Oh. Sorry." Unbelievable. Not going back. Sad, because otherwise the food seemed ok. Well, as far as I know. If the butter out FRONT is bad, I wonder what the butter in the KITCHEN is like??? Wouldn't be surprised to see this place on the town's health report with a horrible score.

We had breakfast at the Blue Moose the past two days and each time it was very good. Between the two of us we had the huevos rancheros, an omelette, the French toast and whole wheat pancakes. The salsa for the huevos rancheros is outstanding. Two negatives - the potatoes that come with the breakfast were not good either time but if you want to substitute tomatoes there is a $1 up charge. Second, they are cash only and a little pricier than most diner style breakfasts.

Too noisy, average food, too many kids left to yell at their tables by inattentive parents. If you have kids, might as well bring them there. Waiters and greeters were fine, good service. But sadly to us, food not good enough for that noise in the morning

The whole not taking credit cards thing is a bit weird, sorry it's 2008. The Ham Scram is good. I'm a fan of their home fries, quite tasty. The service was very snappy and friendly. Next time I'm looking for breakfast in Breck, I'm pretty sure I'm going to be eating at the Blue Moose.

Our final day in Breckenridge, we headed to a place that the shuttle driver recommended - the Blue Moose Restaurant, which is opposite the main street station. They tell you right up front - No credit cards. Be warned. I had the Rosti (which, for those that don't know, is an Indian potato pancake make with onions and paprika), and the green pork chili. Pour the chili over the rosti, and consume. Delicious. My wife had the English, home fries, a mix of breakfast meats and tomatoes. The chopped tomato salad was tasty, however the home fries were second rate. The toast that was supplied with both dishes was cold when it arrived, but still crispy - just don't expect it to melt the butter. Overall, a good option for breakfast. However, I prefer the Columbine Cafe over this place.

Yes, I'm a fan. Well only ever eaten here outside on the patio in summer, and never in winter (I wonder if they'd serve me in the cold/snow). Outside cause I like taking my doggy when it's nice. Well, he had to be outside of their patio fence (I think Summit Cnty laws), but thats fine, cause they're cool and always offer him bacon and water. Yeah, thats how my dawg rolls. This is good basic breakfast at reasonable prices, and I like it just as much as my local Boulder joints. Well, actually, the fresher mountain air and quieter south end of Main St in Breck, on a trip away from home, makes the experience even nicer. They ARE friendly and efficient here, and I like checking out the staff's cool tats. Even better, our last waitress had her Obama tee on!

Cash Only (which was fine) Great breakfast spot. Ordered the Huevos Rancheros with the pork green chili. SO GOOD. Sad we came here on the last day! Would have eaten here every morning!

Breakfast outside on the patio on a beautiful fall morning in Breckenridge maybe it makes food taste better I'm not sure but it's a whole lot better than the alternative, making it yourself. Enjoyable !

We were very disappointed with the Blue Moose. First of all, they didn't know what a medium rare steak was. When we tried substituting a pancake for potatoes, they said we couldn't, but we could get ONE pancake for $4! When the pancake got there it tasted like it was made from a bisquick mix. We also got a side of bacon for $4 for only THREE slices of bacon. Maple syrup also cost $3 by itself. Very disappointed in the quality of food. Tasted just like a Denny's or Sherri's. Extremely expensive and customer service wasn't accommodating, polite, and felt very rushed.

while blue moose is homey and quaint, but i have no idea why it is cash only. luckily i was with kash m. and he always has cash. it was pretty busy in the morning, but we got seated immediately. nothing like a cup of coffee with a "honey what would you like this morning?" to get you goin! veggie benedict came with home fries and the taste was as expected. benedict-like. what can i say? my love for breakfast is true... only set aside in the face of brunch.

was in a craving for pancakes and had heard good things about this place. so i bundled up and left the other snowboarding buddies to dine by myself. the pancakes were very large and fluffy and filled my belly! the hostess was extremely friendly and as i sat there, several customers came in and she knew exactly what they wanted...."hey joe, the regular?" only downer? cash only. but that's no biggie when the food AND service are great!

Excellent food - best place in town for breakfast. It can get busy and there is limited parking (use the garage across the street), but a must visit.

Pancakes. Pancakes. Pancakes. Reminds you of mom's breakfast. Downside... cash only. Upside.... Pancakes! Everyone was really friendly and that food was very good. The waiter was on their own schedule and service was a little lacking, but willing to try again.

Tried this early one morning so we didn't have to wait for a table. During the time we were in Breckenridge the parking lot was typically packed! The food was good and tasted fresh! Service was good and very fast. Keep in mind they are a CASH ONLY place.

I came here for breakfast two days in a row last week. On the first day, my girlfriend was getting married and we all needed to fuel up for a long day of wedding fun. Because I wasn't the bride and I could have fun with it, I chose the Rosti -- a seasoned potato patty with two eggs (mine were over hard) and chives. It was good but the eggs over hard were a little burned and rubbery and the potato patty wasn't so much a patty as it was a pile of potatoes. Tasty? Sure. But not to die for. So why return the next day? In one word, hangover. The group of us that were in town for the wedding were all leaving the next day for Boston or NYC and a hangover didn't really work well into our schedules. On this day I ordered the Minturn Loop -- two pancakes (mine were whole wheat), sausage, and eggs. I ordered the eggs over medium after the chewy over hard eggs from the day before. They came over easy -- too runny for my taste. The pancakes were pretty awesome but the sausage wasn't anything special; Jimmy Dean or some other frozen links I would guess. All in all, I would come back to the Blue Moose because its an adorable, affordable little diner and the wait was never that long (note: I was here in the off-season --- I'm sure this place gets slammed in the winter). I just wish they took credit cards.

After a 16-hour drive into Breck from Chicago, three friends and I dumped our stuff in our condo and needed to find a place to eat brunch, ASAP. We were starving! The food here was delish! Did NOT disappoint whatsoever. My 3 friends all had the Minturn Loop and proclaimed it tasty. I had the Alaskan Pipeline omelette, which was superb. It had crabmeat and avocado and cream cheese in it (reminds me of one of my favorite sushi rolls, now that I think about it) The ingredients were super fresh; I almost didn't want to finish eating, because I was having so much fun. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. Oh and the coffee was excellent. Strong, bold - and they gave me a to-go cup ... on the house. =)

I read that this place did not take credit cards. No problem there. What really upset me was that they do no substitutions. Due to dietary restrictions we can't have potatoes or toast. We both orders an $11.25 egg scramble. They wanted to charge us an additional $1 for tomato slices or an additional $6 for fruit. Totally unacceptable. The steak in the scramble was overlooked. We sated to eat but will not be back.

Went in on a Saturday morning before hitting the slopes. It was pretty busy but we were seated within five minutes. We went in around 9am and it seemed like we just missed the big rush. Ordered the breakfast burrito with veggie chile sauce, the granola supreme, and the fruit smoothie. The food came out in less than ten minutes despite how busy it was and how few servers they had. The food was really wonderful, servings weren't too big but plenty for us.

Probably the shittiest bloody mary I've ever had. Food is B grade at best. Go to columbine if you want good food.

My first trip to Breckenridge. We have so far had a wonderful time. The Breakfast at the Moose was spot~on! I had the Rosti with eggs sunny side up and pork green chili sauce poured over the top! The service was great and friendly. The coffee was fresh. I could see where during the peak season the wait would be long. I encourage all to get there early and enjoy!!

They do not take plastic! Cash only. For this reason and this reason alone I have to give them three stars instead of four. I really liked their menu being a pescatarian/vegetarian. I had the veggie benedict, which I only had once at the Pick Me Up in Chicago and their version was better since it had avocado spread and mucho tomatoes in it. I had a great cup o joe and also some sapid oj. Again the options for my kind (vegetarians) are plentiful yet it was soo annoying having to go across the street and pay an ATM fee just to pay in cash :( lameo Aside from the cash only lameness this place has great food. So if you are the kind of person who vacations with oodles of cash this should be no problem for you, but who does this? Great breakfast place, bad business habits, get with the 90's seriously. Who doesn't take plastic?

Best breakfast in Breck, no doubt. The Rosti was out of this world. I need a recipe for that, pronto. Eggs perfectly cooked, delicious potatoes and a kickass bloody mary....good times, i wish we had a place like this in the Boken.

Blue Moose is a great alternative when Columbine is just too busy for breakfast. It is the greasy spoon of Breck with good standard breakfast options. I am an egg girl but their sweet options are good, too. The wait here is generally 20-30 minutes less than Columbine but the Blue Moose is pretty tiny. The only real problem with Blue Moose is that there is no place to wait for your table. If the bar is full, then people cram in body to body in order to stay out of the cold. Last time, we said screw it and went back to Columbine for the hour wait because at least we were not butt to butt with strangers.

This is definitely the best breakfast in Breckenridge. The restaurant is pretty small, so it is usually crowded and busy. and BEWARE, this is CASH ONLY. I don't know how many times I have come here only to get to the front door and realize I have no cash. Very disappointing, but there is an ATM close by. The have an amazing brie omelet. Yes. Brie. It is to die for. And their coffee is locally made and very tasty.

The groovy tunes, organic coffee and veggie Eggs Benedict is a perfect start before hitting the slopes.

We went at 10:30 on a Sunday morning and don't receommend this time unless you have a lot of time to waste as it took 40 minutes to be seated and 30 mintues to get served. However, the meal was excellent and worth the wait. We have the STE with a side of the pork verde chili and it was delicisous. Excellent food but slow service

This place is the real breakfast place to go to in Breckenridge. They only take cash so you have been warned. Go early in the morning because after 7:30am the place starts to get packed. The food is great. The service is also great. Its the perfect spot to have breakfast and then hit the slopes.

Best breakfast in Breckenridge. Good meal for a day of skiing. Very busy so get there early.
(4)

Very good breakfast with friendly prompt service - what more can you want before hitting the slopes? One word of caution - they only accept cash so make you got some old-fashioned benjamins with ya. Recommend their own organic coffee.

Good food, but tiny place and not much room for coats/hats, etc. CASH ONLY, so plan ahead.

If you like breakfast, you will like it here! The French toast was pretty hearty and I had the Marie' special (lots of veggies topped with egg)....very yummy! They serve smoothies in a caraf which is cool and the coffee was really good. It was crowded, but the wait wasn't too long and the service was awesome!

Food OK, but: - difficult about bringing a child in - expensive - don't take cards. I'd visit the Columbine instead for bulk breakfast or, for something a lot healthier, try Amazing Grace.

Cute breakfast place. The pancakes are huge and definitely enough to fuel up for a long day of skiing. The breakfast burrito is also really good. Service was fairly efficient. In fact, the only thing we had an issue with was the cash only policy.

Like most people I agree the food was great. Very tasty, different enough to be interesting, but not trendy or weird. Service was great and quick. We were a party of 7 and were seated within 5 minutes on a Saturday around 10 am. I liked that a good supply of napkins and silverware were on the table so you don't have to ask the waitstaff. Prices were very reasonable for a tourist area. Service was as good as in the Midwest, which can be a rarity in Colorado.

Yum! Brunch is the best meal of the day. This place will get you in and out fast and is a great way to start the ski day.

even though google maps says that it takes an hour and 57 minutes to drive from the denver airport to breckenridge, that information is for people on speed who scoff at hairpin turns and slow economy cars chugging up the incline. it took me more like 2 and a half hours ,minimum, and then it was about 11pm and everyone was already drunk.(im here for a wedding). we went to the irish pub across the street but the bartender was overwhelemd by the 30 people tramping into the bar,and by overwhelmed,i mean she couldnt hang out at the end of the bar and ignore the customers like she tried to do for the first 10 minutes i was there. we went downstairs to cecilia's. the bartender was super-nice and there were seats and drinks to be had. all this had to be known before i review the blue moon since i closed down my night with shots of tequila, lemonade blueberry vodka shots, electric koolaid shots, stella artois and heineken. the next morning i am starving and my head hurts like alberto gonzoles's truth telling on the witness stand. PAINFUL! after getting shanghaied to the pool to hang out with the wedding party,i politely extricated myself and headed across the street on the front desk recommendation. the buttermilk pancakes were fluffy, the homefries were the orange cubed kind.they looked kinda institutional but ended up being delicious. the waitress was very kind and i loved the tattoos on her leg. another employee brought out treats for anouther customers dog,who was hanging out in the convertible parked next to their table.then he came out with some water for the dog.i wish they had places like this in oakland.oh,and i spent 10 dollars on all that plus never ending free trade coffee and a bagel with cream cheese.i think ill be a regular there until sunday morning when i leave!

Fun local resturaunt. .
(3)Meghan E.
Fabulous!
(4)JM T.
(1)Sheena F.
Everything was pretty good and service was fast! I gave only 4 stars because they don't take credit/debit cards...so we had to use the ATM inside and pay a fee. Made it difficult for a business breakfast in which they want us to use a company card.
(4)Jay D.
(5)Lily S.
(2)Jackie L.
(3)Mike V.

(5)Dana M.

(1)Laura A.
The restaurant had nice menu but the food was just average. I found the coffee too watery, the eggs fairly bland...the french toast was good but not as great as advertised. The best part was that we got in and out quickly and it had great service! I would recommend the restaurant for kids or if other places are too crowded.
(3)Erik Y.
(5)Joann T.
Had an amazing breakfast in Breckenridge. I ordered the Neptune; which consisted of eggs Benedict with crab meat and covered in hollandaise sauce. Everything was hit and fresh when you ordered. Would definitely recommend.
(5)Christopher G.

(4)Lissa W.
Coming from Texas, where everything is bigger, the pancakes were BIG!!! And oh so yummy! I had the spicy Bloody Mary but I have has spicier. Still this place is cute and Karen, our waitress was awesome and friendly. I will come here again when we come back to Breck.
(5)Eva W.
The Blue Moose won't leave you feeling blue... Awesome awesome place for breakfast! It's one of our favorite places. Nice people, good food, large portions. What more can you ask for?
(5)Frank W.
(2)Jo M.
Always have a wonderful breakfast here. Large helpings of yummy food. Great raisin bread French toast. The staff are lovely always very upbeat and friendly. Bit of a wait on weekends but well worth it!!
(5)Lesia M.
This was highly recommended by other tourists so we looked forward to brunch. This is a restaurant specializes in breakfast so I expect excellence. That is not what we received. I hesitate to give even three stars.... We ordered the French loop , harvest omelet and biscuits and sausage gravy. My husbands eggs were ordered over easy and arrived over med almost well done. He like toast to soak in the runny yolk and it wasn't served with the meal so his eggs got cold. His French toast and ham was pretty flavorful, the sausage gravy and biscuit was more like a sauce had weird seasoning and the biscuit had microwave "burn". My omelet was very expensive $12 yet was overcooked, eggs rubbery, broccoli was raw other vegetables were sautéed nicely (spinach, onion tomatoes) I had added jack cheese for 1.75 and they sprinkled a tablespoon on top :( boo for chintziness !home fries are nothing special - little clods of potato with little seasoning. Wanted to love it left sorely disappointed.

(4)Stephen R.
Great place for breakfast! The food was delicious, service was great, atmosphere just ok (but not a problem when the food was that good).
(4)Bonnie L.
(2)Megan H.
(5)Ray N.
Best place in town for breakfast. Best coffee and omelets! And yes this is a cash only business! For those who complain about cash only - get a life! Fees that credit card companies charge a business for that usage is outrageous! Why do you think gas stations offer a discount if you pay with their cash cards?
(5)Lacey R.
(5)Tina H.
(4)Linda C.
(5)Crystal D.
(2)Meghan S.
Best place to help add on your winter layer! Yummy breakfast/brunch! The House Fries are always a yes! It's CASH only but worth it!
(4)Brian M.
Great service great little spot tucked away in Breckinridge ! Walked in and many friendly people ! Great option for strong coffee!
(5)Yuri O.
For as busy as they were we were seated within the amount of time they said we would. Service was terrific and so was the food. I had the Brie and Ham omelette whereas my wife had the tradition eggs bene. They have a good selection of bloodies to accompany.
(5)Law W.
best place in all of summit county for breakfast. Cash only and the coffee and bacon eggs Benedict is to die for. I go here almost every morning. $14 for my coffee and bacon Benny
(5)M M.
Way over priced for the quality and quantity of food. There are much better places to go.
(2)Ian L.
(4)Ryan N.
The very best! Never let down. When you only have a pocket full of cash to spend and no debit card, it's nice to see Cash Only! Awesome food, great service. Last time I went was 15 years ago. And in July of 2014 was just what I had remembered top notch! Keep it up blue moose.
(5)Debbie W.
Great atmosphere - every breakfast item you could ever want on the menu. Steak was tough! Waitress was awesome!
(4)Joel F.
Food was awesome. Staff was friendly. Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is for little things, like not takin credit cards, and the hall to the bathroom is a little tight. But it's a great place and we will definitely go back.
(4)Punam D.
(3)Collin H.
everything we had was AMAZING. cheap enough to get breakfast here everyday, and if I lived in breck, I would. coffee from pot was great as well, which is rare to find. 2 eggs, bacon, home fries, wheat toast & unlimited coffee for 9 bucks...Like I said, will be back every morning when I am in Breck,
(5)Alainna C.
(1)Rich T.
Great view of mountains and wonderful breakfast. This sits just across the street from the art festival. It definitely gets crowded there so be patient.
(4)Amanda G.
Very yummy breakfast. I had huevos rancheros...it was one of the best I've had. The servers are great and very friendly. Service is pretty fast. Would come back for sure. I only gave 4 stars because they don't take credit or debit cards.
(4)Lynn C.
Great breakfast, lots of menu choices so everyone in the family will find something to eat. Just to note that they take cash only for payment. Will definitely be back!
(5)Tres B.
(3)Bruce R.
Visiting from Iowa where it can be tough to find good green chili. I had the huevos with chorizo and pork green chili, it was fantastic! Good heat level and the green chili and chorizo worked great together. I like a big breakfast but had a hard time finishing the whole thing. Highly recommend.
(5)George H.
(2)Stefan L.
Great food. Fast service. Tip: cash only, but they have an ATM right next to the register
(4)Sally M.
(4)Scott R.
We were seated right away and the place was almost 100% full. Coffee was good, not great. Omelet was good not great, Staff was very friendly and the food came out fairly quickly for how busy they were. Hash browns we not crispy enough for my likings but overall a decent meal.
(3)Rob B.
Great breakfasts - especially the huevos rancheros & chorizo scramble. Service is attentive and prompt. Coffee's good but nothing remarkable, better coffee might get them the 5th start. Beware - cash only!
(4)Zach B.
Good breakfast food, good coffee, super friendly staff. Cash only was a but of a bummer but the meal was a good breakfast!
(4)JorandJas C.
(3)Shea S.
(4)Retta A.
Didnt think was any pizazz to their eggs Benedict , pretty disappointing cash only, who brings cash on vacation
(2)Richard K.
(5)Shane B.
(4)Sara F.
(2)James N.
(2)Steven S.
(2)L H.
There are not a lot of great breakfast places in Breck, which helps the Blue Moose stand out. I've had many a breakfast here. It's always been good, never great. It's a good, consistent place where you won't go wrong, but I've not been wowed either.
(3)Mardee B.
(4)Peter M.
(2)Jacquelyn L.
Busy place but to be expected with the great food and friendly staff. Coffee is organic and strong. Different types of bloody Mary's. Husband had eggs Benedict and I had huevos rancheros, both were amazing. Will def go back.
(5)Nicole W.
(3)Joe S.
Very cool little breakfast place. I had pancakes which were good but the real treats are the egg burritos that are AWESOME. Great place to get filled up prior to the slopes but be fore warned this place gets very busy
(4)Aaron F.
(4)John H.
Crunchy granola heaven for breakfast! Loved it this morning. Their organic coffee rocked. French toast eggs and bacon great. Not expensive---cash only. Everyone was super friendly.
(4)Ryan G.
(4)B M.
Great breakfast joint, the portions are massive. Staff is awesome and food and coffee are great!!! The only take "cash" kind of odd this day in age. Only reason I did not give them 5 stars.
(4)Andrew B.
Enjoy!
(4)Momo B.
(4)Steven S.
This place was exactly what we were looking for on a Saturday morning. Great food and a good Bloody Mary. Coffee needs to be a little stronger. Servers were very polite and friedly.
(4)David T.
(2)Jared S.
(4)Stephen W.
(3)Rik N.
The food is really good, especially the wide selection for a diner-style restaurant. The food is pricey, and they don't take credit cards.
(3)Michael L.
staff is friendly, coffee is decent, the food left much to be desired.
(3)Eric M.
(1)Sharon M.
(4)Nick S.
Too noisy, average food, too many kids left to yell at their tables by inattentive parents. If you have kids, might as well bring them there. Waiters and greeters were fine, good service. But sadly to us, food not good enough for that noise in the morning
(2)Rocco F.
Very good breakfast menu. They only accept cash!!
(4)john W.
(3)Adrian H.

Great Breakfast and Ran by Locals
(4)James W.
(4)jennifer c.
Cash Only (which was fine) Great breakfast spot. Ordered the Huevos Rancheros with the pork green chili. SO GOOD. Sad we came here on the last day! Would have eaten here every morning!
(4)Sarah H.
Great breakfast options, food was great, & service was good & fast. Yelp shows $$ I would put it at one $.
(4)RicoSha C.
Breakfast outside on the patio on a beautiful fall morning in Breckenridge maybe it makes food taste better I'm not sure but it's a whole lot better than the alternative, making it yourself. Enjoyable !
(3)Jessica R.
Extremely expensive and customer service wasn't accommodating, polite, and felt very rushed.

amazing breakfast!!!

while blue moose is homey and quaint, but i have no idea why it is cash only. luckily i was with kash m. and he always has cash. it was pretty busy in the morning, but we got seated immediately. nothing like a cup of coffee with a "honey what would you like this morning?" to get you goin! veggie benedict came with home fries and the taste was as expected. benedict-like. what can i say? my love for breakfast is true... only set aside in the face of brunch.

was in a craving for pancakes and had heard good things about this place. so i bundled up and left the other snowboarding buddies to dine by myself. the pancakes were very large and fluffy and filled my belly! the hostess was extremely friendly and as i sat there, several customers came in and she knew exactly what they wanted...."hey joe, the regular?" only downer? cash only. but that's no biggie when the food AND service are great!

Fast service. Typical diner breakfast. Loved the atmosphere- laid back, friendly and hopping with folks!

Nice diner style breakfast spot. A little slow, but sit outside for a nice view of main street and the mountain.

Good breakfast option in Breck...but we've had better

This place is the real breakfast place to go to in Breckenridge. They only take cash so you have been warned. Go early in the morning because after 7:30am the place starts to get packed. The food is great. The service is also great. Its the perfect spot to have breakfast and then hit the slopes.
(4)Troy M.
Best breakfast in Breckenridge. Good meal for a day of skiing. Very busy so get there early.
(4)Pratik S.
Very good breakfast with friendly prompt service - what more can you want before hitting the slopes? One word of caution - they only accept cash so make you got some old-fashioned benjamins with ya. Recommend their own organic coffee.
(4)Nick R.
Good food, but tiny place and not much room for coats/hats, etc. CASH ONLY, so plan ahead.
(3)V R.
(4)David K.

(4)Susan B.
Decent breakfast. Decent prices. Decent service. Go early 'cause it's busy on weekends.
(3)Ron T.

Blah...when the very first person you meet at the restaurant tells you there is a 20 minute wait and if you want faster service to go to McDonald's you know theirs something wrong! Rude rude rude! At least say hi first before you spit in my eye!!!
