The room was great. The breakfast amazing. Emma and Lars were gracious hosts. Jade the dog and I got along great. A wonderful 4th of July weekend. Thanks

We went with high expectations after reading reviews. I can't help but wonder if they are all really by customers. Owners were less than friendly, the breakfast was mediocre and the "no shoe" policy (that is strictly enforced) is a tad ridiculous. Would never go back!

We recently stayed here for your New Years week. The owners were extremely accommodating and friendly. Breakfast options were provided every morning and fresh baked goods made daily were set out with afternoon tea time. The food was awesome! Our room was perfect and cozy as well. The location allows you to walk to all of the shops and restaurants in downtown Breckenridge. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm visiting!

Great location for non-skiiers. Sacrilege, I know. I ski but my hubby does not. We were only in for a couple of days and really wanted somewhere centrally located so that we could enjoy Breck. We love places that are in walking distance from everything you need and boy this couldn't be a more perfect choice! It's centrally located midway on Main St and still walking distance to the free gondola in case you want to go up to Peak 8. We stayed in the Settlers Room and while I thought I would miss having a fireplace, it really wasn't that big of a deal. For us, we were not in the room long enough for it to make a difference. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The 4:00 tea time and breakfast was a nice way to visit with other guests while enjoying a hearty breakfast. Emma and Niels were great hosts and were extremely accommodating. Loved it and will definitely go back!

My wife and I recently stayed there as part of our Honeymoon, and we both have to say "Wow" Not only was the inn itself beautiful and serene, but the hosts went far beyond the call to make us feel welcome and appreciated! The room was gorgeous, and inviting. The food was better than many so called "world class" hotels I've stayed at,. On a personal note, while we were staying in Breckenridge, we were going to be attending a friends wedding, (On our own honeymoon no less. There must have been something in the water that month! ;-) ) and two hours before the ceremony we discovered that we had forgotten to bring the garment bag with my wifes dress! Emma not only helped us find a clothier who could provide us with a tasteful and reasonably priced replacement at the last minute, but they also offered us the use of one of her own dresses!!!! Wow! Simply Wow! Unfortunately, the dress didn't fit my wife. But we did find an appropriate replacement at the shop she recommended, and it cost me less than the cost of a dinner out. If you ever have the opportunity to stay in Breckenridge, you owe it to yourself to spend a night or two here. Just don't forget to pack your garment bag.

Awesome place, inn keepers are wonderful, banana pancakes with carmalized banana syrup are to die for. Close walk to everything.

Recently stayed here on our awesome trip to Denver and vicinity. What a luxury to stay in a such a lovely inn with upscale amenities! The place is impeccable (owners ask you to remove your shoes, but provide comfy slippers), the room was big and the food was perfect. We stayed in the lower level room, which has a private staircase to the jacuzzi...what's better than soaking while looking at the stars! The innkeepers are very pleasant and seem to have thought of everything. Location is perfect, near everything. I would highly recommend this great b&b.

My friends and I have stayed at Abbett Placer 4 years in a row for our annual ski week vacation and I have also visited the Inn for a long weekend in the Summer time. Full disclosure: I am lifelong friends with the Inn Keepers. Some may say that will bias my review. I disagree. I am actually writing the review because I believe I have a unique perspective into the quality of their B&B...I know from the INSIDE how hard these two wonderful people work to continuously improve the experiences their guests have when they visit this Inn they love so much. Emma and Niels pay attention to the little details. For example: there is a computer in the common area with a printer to allow guests to stay in touch with 'home' and to print boarding passes for flights; their breakfast and tea time menus are planned well in advance to ensure that guests who stay for several days don't experience the same delicious food more than once; their adorable chocolate lab Buddy is extremely well trained to stay only in the owner's quarters and Inn foyer; the information binders they provide in each room offers firsthand reviews of restaurants, hikes, ski resorts, dog sledding, snow mobile rides....; the hot tub is meticulously maintained (I'm NOT a public hot tub person but I eagerly jump in this one each year when I visit). I could go on and on. There have been times when even I have said to them "my gosh, you guys could save some money and do 'this' instead of 'that'" and they quickly point out why that short cut would change their guests' experience. EXTREMELY customer focused is how I would describe them. Fantastic experience.
