Asked for extra caramel and got caramel on the top. We paid for the caramel and she gave us one with and one without it. She wasn't even passing out straws and customers had to ask for straws, and they were very chatty while making our orders and it took a while and they didn't even get caramel on mine. I'm pissed, it's not that hard to get it right.

Mixed experiences at this Starbucks. I usually stop in with my travel mug for coffee before teaching a 7:30 a.m. Tues/Thurs class at CU's Armory (one block away on University). Occasionally, I'm in and out in 2 minutes, other times it feels painfully slow. I've only spent time in the coffee shop reading once and there is plenty of space -- pretty standard as far as a Starbucks goes.

Parking is free on the street before 9am weekdays and free in the University lot behind the store all day weekends. Since my original review seems deeply buried, I'd just like to repeat that this is my favorite Starbucks in Boulder, in my neighborhood and a super friendly but hugely busy place. Near campus, hence the parking issue. In fact, before this was a Starbucks, it was a corner gas station at a busy intersection. I like it better this way.

Like everything in Boulder, this place is beautiful and it was a godsend for a gal who needed her morning tea to stay awake at a conference on the UC Boulder campus (Starbucks Tazo tea is the best teabag tea out there. Lipton SUCKS). There is comfy seating all over the store with plenty of windows to enjoy the view. The employees were friendly and outgoing. I wished I had a chance to chill here for a few hours with a book but alas, I had sightseeing to do!!

Reviewing coffee, Okay but you're not going to like it. I'm not a coffee drinker per se, I only get it for the caffeine and it's a double shot before I hop on my bike for a few Colorado filled mountains! It's a cycling thing and actually it works! Starbucks is fast, hot, simple and it's perfect in my non coffee drinker state. It's just right every time and for that I come back! One day maybe I'll actually sit down to have a cup of coffee!!!

Such great customer service and great quality coffee a lot of people that come here and I can see why. I've been to a lot of coffee shops here but I have to say this is one of the best ones in boulder. Better than the other Starbucks shops I've been too. There's also a patio where you can just chill, great place to do homework

You're a Starbucks. Nothing new here. Except that while most Starbucks would get a 3-star rating from me, you shall have a four. Although you're a bit of a "scene" on CU campus when students are too trendy for Norlin Library, I do like the intellectual feel that the crowd can bring, and the patio out front is pretty nice on a sunny day.

I have been here on many occasions whenever I come up to Boulder to visit friends. Nothing really sets this Starbucks chain from any of the other stores. However, the vibe feels more laid back as far as the people who visit this location. Other than that, you get your standard Starbucks fan fare and your drink is made quickly.

I was near the CU Boulder campus and happened to walk into this Starbucks. Food/Drinks: The snack/sandwich/drink section appeared half empty even I walked in slightly in the latter half of the lunch hour. I ordered the $3.95 special - aka I got the coffee cake and a tall latte. With tax, it came out to be 4 something. This was a better deal than getting the latte alone since by adding less than a dollar, i got a cake with it. In the old days before Starbucks ran the promotion (aka before 3/1/09), you could never get two items like that for around 4-5 bucks. The latte was served quickly and it was fresh and hot. The coffee cake was fine as well and I enjoyed it because it wasn't too sweet. The coffee cake that you receive with this value $3.95 deal is a bit smaller than the traditional size cake you would get at Starbucks. Service: The service was all right. I didn't get a thank you or a lot of personalization. However, I thought they were relatively and there wasn't really a line. Cleanliness: I didn't go to the bathroom, but the tables and the window area was fairly clean. I didn't see any food particles or coffee spilled. Ambiance: The way the tables are set up, the place felt a bit cramped. Even between the service line and the tables, there would be little space if the place was packed at a busy hour. It is also a stand alone spot on a corner of the street. Parking: Parking is tricky, but I suppose you can pay to park on campus as well or try your luck with the meters.
