Chickpea and avocado sandwich for the win. It is such a magnificent blend. I will be coming back for it. The entire atmosphere is chic, modern and minimalistic. Lots of natural light from the open window plan. I am instantly drawn to it and gives off an sterile clean feeling. Yet at the same time, it feels rustic in preparation. Thumbs up all the way on local sourcing and use of organic products. Totally recommend. They sell Bahkti Chai here. I tried it for the first time. mmm.

I liked this place from the minute I walked in. Cute little green chairs outside, wooden and white finishes inside. The menu isn't huge but it has great sandwich combinations and you can add extra things if you like...and they have quite a few vegetarian options too which is a winner. I got the turkey cranberry and my husband got the turkey bacon. And both were delicious. They also have cold brew coffee and kombucha as well as raw mini treats too. The staff were all very friendly and offered suggestions. They also made the sandwiches super quick. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is I think it is a bit expensive $10 for a sandwich even if it is organic is a bit too much I consider. However nice it is. Would definitely be back just not as an everyday place.

I had the soup and half sandwich combo: turkey and bacon jam sandwich and the spicy eggplant puree. The flavors were spot on for both. My only complaint is that my sandwich kept falling apart every time I took a bite. I was warned the soup would be spicy - and it was - but I love spicy food so it was okay with me. The atmosphere was clean and modern and the staff was really friendly. Thanks for the tasty lunch. I will definitely be going back.

I wandered in here a few weeks ago, apparently right after they opened. It was during lunch and there were only 2 people in there, which was nice since there was no line. The atmosphere is very clean and open. I ordered the chickpea and avocado sandwich. Since it was so quiet, I was able to watch the man make it. He was very efficient and gentle-like. Everyone working there was very polite. I took my sandwich to go. Overall, it was good although it needed something...I think I'll add bacon to it next time since I'm not a vegetarian. I love that everything is organic and I'll definitely be back

Yum yum yum yum yum! There is an article on the wall that says "the sandwich is worth the price" and I would agree with that statement! It's not a cheap sandwich, but it tastes delicious and makes you feel good! Many of the products are locally sourced with the Name of the farm up on a sign! The iced tea and lemonade are delightful and if you check in on Yelp you get one for free! I had a turkey sandwich with bacon jam- YUM! I also loved that the owner (really sweet cute woman who I can't remember her name now) is out there on the sandwich line serving food and seeing how her guests are. Over all this place is great and we will absolutely be back!

Strolling down Pearl St today with little man, I had the good fortune to run into Marcy, the owner, who responded quite thoughtfully to my previous review, and her two boys. Although she was on her way to an appointment, she was generous with her time when I stopped her and asked if she was who I thought she was. We spoke about my previously mentioned concerns from my review as well as some other key aspects of running a business like hers. She was so sincere and open, and is clearly eager to find practical solutions to issues that arise. It was very clear by the way she spoke that she truly cares about her customers and their experiences at her restaurant, along with the quality of ingredients that go into the sandwiches. I've never had such a positive and sincere interaction with a business owner via Yelp before, and running into and speaking directly to her gave me so much more to appreciate about the Organic Sandwich Co. Their customer service in the sandwich shop is always top notch... I've never experienced anything less than friendly, pleasant workers behind the counter. I also love that they sell Bragg's ACV drinks (the ginger one is my favorite). We will be back again!

Though the sandwich I had at Organic Sandwich Company tasted good, the awful customer service will prevent me from coming back. I was part of a large group the day I came in, and we took a while to figure out orders - that was where the trouble began. The two girls who were making sandwiches that day (I wish I would've asked for their names) were incredibly annoyed and frustrated at the time we took to come up to the counter (even though we let people ahead of us while we figured things out). Then there was a mess up with an order, and one of the girls rolled her eyes, threw the sandwich, and snarled at us that she already made it (!!!) and won't be remaking it. Then, when we ordered some macarons at the counter and requested ones that weren't melted (the ones that were on display were melted and coming apart), she rolled her eyes and made sure to make plenty of noise while getting the ones that were fresh from the fridge. The only thing I have to say is that if you struggle with customer service and working with people all day - then don't do it! The way that the employees handled our large group from the second we walked in to the second we walked out, was unprofessional, immature, and discourteous. For those reasons, I will not bring my patronage to Organic Sandwich Company again.

I really appreciate the store reaching out to us after this review. They were genuinely concerned about delivering an awesome lunch, and my respect for them really shot up. We'll definitely give them another chance, as I think they have all the right stuff to be a great place. Thanks! -------------------------------------------------------- We live right around the corner from this new sandwich spot, and were really excited to try it out when we saw it open! There are some minor issues with the execution. When requesting wheat bread for my sandwich, the girl at the counter assured me that the sandwich was perfectly paired for the pretzel bread ... ultimately, we negotiated and she let me have the sandwich on a wheat bagette. The quality of the bread was good - but I think they can wow us a bit more for that price. On top of that, the ingredients were above average, but I'd love to see them put more on. On the plus side, the black bean soup tasted great, and I'd love to see bigger portions. Thanks and good luck!

This place is amazing! Their ingredients are extremely fresh. A definite must for a quick bite. Everyone was super friendly. They have a few tables outside which was great because I had my dog with me. I'll definitely be going back!

Wicked good. Super happy to have a place for gourmet sandwiches... I want to try a few more items though! Have only been 2 times. The bread was hard but that's how I like sandwies personally ! Owner is very sweet.

My wife and I are in town visiting friends and we wandered into this place for lunch today. It has a very warm and inviting presence about it, I guess that's what drew us in. We were very happy that we did. I had the roast beef sandwich with horseradish, and my wife had the turkey with the bacon jam. Both were delicious and the bacon jam was a very nice touch. We overheard the people next to us mention that this place had just opened up. Seems like they are doing a great job. For being this early in the game it seems like they're doing things right. When we met up with our friends later on, we mentioned to them that we went there for lunch. They agreed that they had had some great food there , especially for their kids. Friendly service, clean, cool atmosphere, and nice fresh food. What else could you ask for. I wish we had a place like this in our hometown.

This was my first visit. I had the turkey bacon jam sandwich on a gluten free bread and loved it. The gf bread tasted just like a great regular bread - which I haven't had a years and I was so grateful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The sandwich was a little on the bigger side for me but I ate everything anyway. Needless to say, their local and organic and local motto doesn't hurt. make sure to go after the lunch rush, I heard they had a line out the door today. Now I know why.

After seeing this spot for a while while passing by, we finally made it in for lunch. We had tried a few other times but they close before we usually finish work. Having gone, it definite seems better suited for lunch rather than dinner...so a 6 PM closing time is reasonable. I got the turkey & bacon jam on a pretzel roll. That bacon jam. Damn! The folks behind the counter were very friendly, service was efficient, and I really appreciate their dedication to being zero-waste. They have mason jars for water cups, which is a nice touch. Plenty of seating, nice location, and portion-size was good for me. If you're a Snarf's "Pro" sized kind of person...you may want to get chips or a side as well. Strawberry lemonade is delicious. Not overly sweet as most places would make it. Excited to try their soups--if it's as good as the sandwich, I'm in for a treat!

I've never been to their farmers market location, but I had high hopes for a quality downtown sandwich spot. I haven't been this disappointed in a while. A good sandwich has to have good bread. Unfortunately, the baguette that my thin layer of gristly roast beef came on had the chew of a dish sponge and no flavor to speak of at all. In order to avoid gagging on the ridiculously high bread to sandwich interior ratio, I immediately dispensed with the top piece. This didn't help much because the flavors inside were just wrong and the meat was kind of gross. For an $11 sandwich, there wasn't much of anything inside. My wife's turkey sandwich was similar but had the added bonus of turkey that had the texture of being left out in the air for hours. I love the concept of this place, but they just have the ingredients/execution quite wrong. If they don't shape up, I can't see them lasting more than a couple months.

Maybe a little obvious, but you get what you expect ;-) Super fresh vegetables, and the homemade bacon jam is a must for everyone - enjoyed it very much , I will definitely check in again :-)

This place takes "sandwich" to a new level. You get what you pay for and more...the sandwiches are all organic and each one is crafted with a perfect balance of flavors and they're BIG too! Anything on the pretzel roll is amazing...I'm not vegetarian but I ordered the spicy veggie on the pretzel roll and it was divine. The spice and brine was perfectly balanced with the aged cheese. My 12 year old ordered the turkey with bacon jam and said, "Mom, this is so good I could cry". We'll be back for sure! Love the location, clean and simple ambiance. Employees welcoming and seemingly happy to be there. Love that.

Looking for a quick bite to eat in Boulder we passed by Organic Sandwich Company. After taking a peek at their menu we decided to try it because the menu looked amazing- organic, local ingredients and vegan options! I agree with a previous review that I love the concept of this place, but the execution isn't quite there (which is sad because I really want more restaurants like this to succeed). The first guy I talked to when I walked in was very friendly and helpful. I needed a few minutes to decide and by the time I was ready someone else came out. I hope it was this guys first day because he had no clue when I said the chickpea and avocado salad sandwich; he had to look back at the menu to check what was on the sandwich for every ingredient (and he even forgot the romaine, so I had to go back up). My sandwich wasn't amazing, but it was pretty good. My fiance and friend didn't enjoy theirs. Would love the option to toast the sandwich. Probably won't go back.

The Turkey and Bacon Jam is my Jam. The atmosphere was modern and clean and the vibe was welcoming. The sandwich makers were knowledgable and ready to authentically educate on their local and organic ingredients. I had the Turkey and Bacon Jam with no modifications- the pretzel loaf was to die for. The Bacon Jam, mustard aioli and avocado complimented each other well. Everything tasted fresh and I feel good knowing where it came from. It was one of those meals that was so good it makes you want to order the same thing every time you go because you know you can't go wrong...but in this case I am confident the rest of their menu is just as good. Excited to try the Grass Fed Roast Beef with Horsey Sauce next time!

Wow, this place was amazing. I had the turkey and bacon jam, and it tasted great. The pretzel roll really added to the flavor, and the bacon jam was a great idea also. My whole family was satisfied with their orders, and we had a great time. The atmosphere is modern. Drinks are served in mason jars, which is a nice touch. The staff was truly kind and accommodating. I asked the price of the lemonade and a staff member said "go for it.". Overall I had a wonderful time at Organic Sandwich shop, and would recommend it to anyone looking for lunch around Boulder.

I've been here a couple of times now - just after they opened and last week. My company headquarters is in the area and I'm always looking for a good place for lunch while visiting. The place is adorable inside and the sandwiches are so tasty! I love the spicy veggie and the beet sandwich is delicious too (I'm vegetarian). The almond "feta" is really great and adds just the right touch to the sandwich...and I can't get enough of that pretzel roll! I brought back a few sandwiches for my co-workers: 2 turkey bacon jam and a soppressata. They all said they were delish and one even e-mailed me with, "God that was good". Now I'm hungry writing this - looking forward to my next visit!

Im a vegan and I love their vegan chickpea avocado sandwich. I added the spicy house made giardiniera to it and loved it! Best combo/best sandwich I have had in a long time! A must try

I stumbled across this place whilst visiting Boulder for a girls weekend. It's awesome!. Usually I am not a fan of pretzel bread as I find it too dense but I ordered an amazing vegan sandwich (full of beets and wonderful almond 'feta') and loved every bite. The service was great, the shop itself is adorable and I loved the fact all their ingredients are local or organic.
