I have used Moe's Bagels since they opened years ago. I occasionally try other bakers that come along and surpass them for a while, or when Moe's gets a little sloppy in their bake quality, but they always seem to rebound. I love that I can get real pumpernickel bagels and cinnamon raisin bagels that are not sweet. I do usually use the Arapahoe location because it is more convenient for me, but when I am in north Boulder I use this one, which is the original store from the early 90's. The service line usually moves fairly quickly unless you land at either store right at lunch time. Since I tend to come in the morning for bagels to take out, they are usually still warm and I am in and out quickly.

You microwaved my wrap and turned it to rubber? Maybe take wraps off the menu if you can't make them well.

Great bagels, awful customer service. Employees never write anything down and will get your order wrong every time. My last 3 trips they went 0-3 on getting the order correct. They even seem to struggle with sandwiches that are on the menu.

I can't give them more than 2 stars.... The food = 4.5 stars, tastes awesome. Great variety of cream cheeses, wide selection of bagels, usually generous portions The accuracy of the orders of the past 4 years = 1 star. I'm not sure why but they never seem to be able to get a simple order correct. They have sandwiches on their menu with all the toppings listed...yet they still seem to really have a difficult time with getting them correct (Golden Gardens aren't mythical. They're on your menu). They are extremely inconsistent and I've had to return many orders for being wrong which doubles the already hefty wait time. These aren't confusing special requests, by the way. We're talking straight from the menu orders. This has to be a result of poor training. Whatever it is, I'm done spending and wasting time and money here. I really wanted us to work out, Moe. Time to move on....

Though they never seem to get my order quite right (even when I order straight off the menu), I love Moe's. The New Yorker bagel is my favorite and they always have a good variety of drinks here. The pizza is surprisingly delicious as well! Definitely not cheap but still worth it!

Does anyone else remember when Moe's used to put three inches of cream cheese on their bagels? No? Well, when they first opened they went a little insane with the smear, and trying to deal with all if it spilling out through the hole and over the edges was a welcome after-school challenge for twelve-year-old me! These days, they are a little more conservative with their toppings, but that's not a bad thing! Their bagels are delicious- chewy exterior, soft fluffy exterior- and their smear flavors are phenomenal. We often pick up half a dozen plus lox and some scallion cream cheese on the way to visit my parents on Sunday mornings. The sandwiches are excellent as well! The New Yorker is a classic, but I like the Picnic Pleaser and the Sunshine Daydream, too!

Ohm nom nom nom Great bagels! Ended up getting the manhattan breakfast bagels which is lox cream cheese tomato and onion. So satisfying and still light where you don't feel required to take a immediate nap. Also got some coffee which was a little too dark for my liking.

I just ordered delivery for a TOASTED cranberry bagel with STRAWBERRY cream cheese. I got a STALE, UNTOASTED bagel with NO cream cheese of any kind at all and they couldn't even bother to CUT the damn thing in half. When you're one of the ONLY bagel shops in Boulder you should at least TRY. Incredibly disappointed in service, food and over all experience. Don't eat here.

My boyfriend and I decided to have breakfast here for a second time because the last time we thought the staff was pretty friendly and the food was decent. This time we had the worst experience that we've ever had in any restaurant. I ordered a cranberry walnut bagel with strawberry cream cheese and he ordered a denver bagel. Somehow they misheard our order and put mine down as a denver bagel with strawberry cream cheese. After receiving the mistake I went up and asked for a remake and the staff was yelling at me for "not knowing what I wanted and that I need to make up my mind because I'm wasting all of their food." I have worked in the service industry and still do and NEVER is it acceptable to yell at a customer, especially when the customer isn't in the wrong. Maybe they should get one of their english speaking employees to take the orders to avoid messing up everybody's orders. I will never return here again.

Out here for a bachelor party, the NYC contingent said these were extremely solid bagels. The Italian bagel is very good.

With all the paleo gluten-free business in Boulder and beyond, you may not realize that they are still making great bagels here. Breakfast specials are awesome. Build your own sandwiches are great. Specialty sandwiches are a bit tired and more expensive. I visit a couple times a month and can't remember ever having trouble with my order.

I've been going to this Moe's since I was a little girl. I went for bfast yesterday, and got onion with jalapeno cream cheese. I had to switch from my reg chive cream cheese bc the size of the chive pieces has started to turn my stomach a little. The bagels are the perf size, chewy, soft and flavorful. The jalapeno cream cheese is the right amount of spicy, and Moe's offers a large selection of chips to clean up the extra cream cheese. Always consistent, I go here at least once a month.

Well I'm a huge fan of bagels in the first place but I love Moe's! Such a cute little place with nice outside seating in the front. It can get sort of crowded inside sometimes and the line can be long, but worth the wait! There are tons of choices and it's so hard to decide because everything looks great but I've tried a lot of the breakfast bagels and all of them are delicious. The ONLY downfall is that they dont have carmel for my beloved iced carmel lattes but other than that, I love eating at Moe's!

Ah, this place is hard for me to rate. The bagels are good, the egg sandwiches but to me it's just not up to what they charge for them. I also hated that I had to stand on tippy toe to see what bagel flavors they had. Aaaggggh. Plus, as the other reviews said, there's just too much cream cheese going on there. I got the garlic herb (or similar) bagel and it slathered on thick. Plus, it's not creamy at all and stick to one side of the bagel - which I hate because I like to eat my bagel split in half and not cut down the middle like they do here. Aight, I talked myself into a three star review.

Ordered an Asiago Cheese bagel and walked out. After taking a bite, I wondered if there was a miscommunication when I asked for the bagel plain and if they had given me a plain bagel. I went back in to clarify and they said the cheese is baked in the dough (vs. sprinkled on top as well). Um, okay, because it tasted like a plain bagel with 0.000000000001 tsp of Asiago in it, or 0 tsp of Asiago in it. What a rip too -- $1.25. And kinda on the small side.

I've got love for Moe's. It's a locally owned bagel shop that is keeping Boulder weird, as the saying goes. I recently purchased their BLT, with which you can never go wrong. Their bagels are soft and perfect sandwich bread. They've got all the fixin's, so come with your craziest concoctions. The environment is super friendly and inviting. Sit in or out on the porch. There are lots of cute shops in the area, so spending some time in this area after visiting Moe's is a must.

We went here last weekend for a late breakfast/early lunch while we waited for our son's eyeglasses to be done...got a toasted bagel with egg, tomato, swiss and spinach....added a dollop of hot sauce they have available (hubby had his with ketchup) and the bagels were handily consumed! Quick, friendly service, nice relaxed neighborhood atmosphere...definitely recommend for some tasty bagels and bagel sandwiches!

Love Moe's. I always have, and I probably always will. Their bagels are thick and chewy and their cream cheese is rich and well-flavored. Only complaint? Sometimes, there is a little toooo much cream cheese. I always order the everything bagel with the scallion cream cheese, which has big chunks of green onion in it. Heaven.

Meh and Meh. I really want to like this place because I'm east coaster and I heart bagels, but this place just doesn't do it for me. I went here before work quite a few times and was underwhelmed each time. Everytime I ordered a bagel with some kind of cream cheese (e.g. Veggie, Jalapeno) and everytime I found the bagel to be extremely greasy. The cream cheese was actually pretty decent, but the greasy bagel I can't get over. I think the people that work there are great, I love the funky style, but I don't like the food. Take a trip to NYC guys and shadow a bagel shop for a few days. Master your bagels and I will be a longtime customer.

Moe's makes the best "everything" bagel in Boulder. It's called the Italian and it's topped not only with poppy and sesame seeds (like most bagel bakeries carry), but also with rosemary, garlic, and onion. :) They also have adorable mini bagels in almost all of the flavors. Get an Italian toasted with plain cream cheese and an Americano from Spruce, and you're good to go. Also, I like that the owner seems to be working the cash register every single day.

Would rate as a five star but... We love the breakfast sandwiches and go about once a weekend for quick and easy breakfast. We live in the neighborhood and can walk there in a few minutes. But after this morning we could not avoid writing a review. Our order is slightly off at least 50% of the time. It's usually a small detail like the wrong type of cheese which we can get over and eat without a complaint. But this morning we were fed up. After getting our sandwiches to go and walking home we discovered that both our sandwiches were completely wrong. So frustrating! We had to walk back and get the correct sandwiches made. The only time we have ever pointed out their mistakes and the only time I can ever remember actually returning a wrong order. I am writing this in the hopes that management will address this issue. We love Moe's and are loyal neighborhood patrons. But we want our order to be right. The system at Moe's is terrible for ordering. No one writes anything down and pretends as if they have a magical memory. Please implement a new system where your employees write down an order (not just mark the generic "type" of an order. eg. Bagel with meat, egg and cheese). Your current system does not work.

This place makes an alright bagel, I guess, but it's extraordinarily expensive. I feel like it is much more expensive than even the other Moe's locations. Also, they put way too much cream cheese on your bagel. Last time I went there I got the jalapeno cream cheese and by the time I got to work my shirt was orange. Seriously, tell them to go easy on the CC. If you're a millionaire and you like some bagel with your cream cheese, go here. If you want better coffee and a much better price, swing over to Einstein's and call it a day, because sometimes it's a good thing to have a standardized dollop.

2 slices of cheese pizza and a soda for $6.50? Sold! Actually, I wanted the 1 slice of cheese + salad + soda combo but they were out of salad so... ANYWAY, the cheese slices were surprisingly tasty (and ginormous), nice thin crust, slightly sweet and overall yummy. I noticed too that they sell mini-bagels, and I like that! (such an anathema to the "super-sizing" of everything I tell you).

I had an oatmeal raisin bagel with butter (hadn't seen that flavor before) and it was rather tasteless. I'm from the Northeast so the Boulder bagels just didn't stand up to NY's variety. The breakfast bagels (with bacon, egg, etc.) seemed good and Moe's also sells mini-bagels which could be good for work breakfasts. I'd go again if I ran out of breakfast food at home and needed something quickly.

if you are a true bagel fan, and enjoy a fun atmosphere, this place is the shiznit. Perfect for grabbing a sandwhich or bagel- pizza is so-so, but that is besides the point. The Italian bagels rock my world.
