Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

We went here again tonight - drove all the way up from Denver one hour away from our home - and the pizza was just as good as it was the first time. My partner and I chatted with the owner for about 15 minutes and he was so personable, friendly, socially sensible and sensitive, and he is a master at his craft. I geeked out with him about the chemistry of pizza dough and he said that his recipe is in constant flux because the final product is always dependent upon external factors like weather, humidity, etc... he knows his shit, that's for sure! He is a true artisan of his craft. A master pizza maker. The secret is in the dough... it always is. This dough is perfectly thin with a little crunch but is still foldable. Everything is just right. Every order is done with care. I could tell from the way he spoke about his passion that is now his life. He also said that he bakes pizza 1/2 way through for people who want to drive up from Denver and don't want to eat in their car or outside. Seriously though, you won't be able to wait until you get home to eat it...

Had high hopes for this pizza. Asked for well done pizza and got a undercooked pizza that was extremely floppy. I will give it another try and a few weeks. Until than! Thanks

Ordered the pizza over the phone, after looking online for a website with their menu I couldn't find much other than a photo taken with a phone. The menu was hard to read in the picture and it was badly written. I'm all for locals and mom and pop shops, but some times it pays to spend a little more time on your website and your menu board. Got there and was told it would be another 10 mins. Which is fine I'm okay with waiting for good pizza! We ordered a small pizza. When he brought it over he said all the toppings had shifted in the oven and he want going to charge us for one of the toppings. That was a nice gesture. He didn't offer cheese, red peppers, napkins or anything else. Glad I was just going home and not eating elsewhere. It would have been great if there were tables to eat inside, but I guess it's only "to-go". There was a couch and some video games while you waited. Overall the pizza was very tasty and will return!!! :) we liked the thin crust and the toppings were good!

You will have to look long and hard to find a better pizza than 285 Pizza Pies. Bailey is very fortunate to have such a wonderful establishment of deliciousness.

Hands down the best bet York style pizza in Colorado. Don't miss this place if your driving down 285.

Fantastic pizza!! The dough was perfectly cooked with tasty homemade sauce and fresh cheese. The "small" was more like a large and the "large" was huge. Great price, great value- highly recommend this place!! We'll definitely come by here every time we're near Bailey. We'll probably even make the 90 minute drive here just for the pizza. It's that good!! :)

Yeah, 5 stars on a pizza joint on a hard to find stretch of Colorado highway? Check your glasses, this spot is for real. I rolled into here looking for info a spot to camp for the night. What I left with were two unforgettable slices of garlic, onion and anchovy pizza. Thin crust, north Jersey style pie. These guys are the REAL deal.

Been meaning to write a review for awhile. Moved up here about 2 months ago. Have gotten pizza from 285 Pies about 5 times and tried a pizza place in Pine Jct once. 285 Pies is hands down THE pizza place for this area. First time visiting 285 Pies I asked the guy what his best pizza was and he said "Every pizza I make is my best pizza." He was right, he makes good pies. At his recommendation we tried a pepperoni, mushroom and garlic pizza. It was fantastic. My wife and kids love it as well. It's good pizza, not just because it is close either. It's nice to see a local who takes pride in his food and puts out a quality product. Pretty much every other restaurant in the Bailey and Conifer area need to follow his example. If I were to suggest an improvement it would be adding more toppings to the menu, esp cream cheese. Other than that, keep doing what you're doing!

My only regret is that I only ordered two slices. I could have eaten a whole pizza. This is legit NY style pizza. As good as it gets.

What a delightful surprise on a drive in the mountains! I stopped by here on a business trip and found the pizza to be excellent and fresh. The slices are large and delicious. The service was also very friendly. While I'm definitely not complaining, I would recommend a larger indoor dining area. Otherwise, the patio worked just fine on the nice day I was there.

All I have to say is excellent pizza, excellent and friendly customer service. After being stuck in traffic for the 4th of July weekend, I googled searched pizza in the Bailey area and I'm glad we were introduced to this pizza joint along 285. The pizza is very tasty, the staff is very friendly and it's priced right for the amount of toppings we received on our pizza. Definitely worth a special trip up the mountain just for pizza.

Great N.Y. style pizza in an unexpected location that begs for quality food. This is a most pleasant little jewel in the rough. I might recommend ordering for take-out, as there are (at this time) only a couple of simple tables. But if its good pizza you seek, youve found the right place.

Best pizza we've found in the foothills - comparable to Fat Sully's in Denver - but better, cuz it's UP here! Their ratio of cheese/sauce/toppings/crust is outstanding. Sandy bottom to a perfect crust.
