I hate when a restaurant doesn't have an online menu and it's not a chain that has typical food. I like to figure out what I'm getting before I get there since it takes me forever. So I uploaded pictures if their drive-thru menu for everyone. Food is good. Friendly staff. Quick!! Interesting drive-thru method but it works. JFC is small but tasty.

CLOSED, but it looks like a new joint called "Bourbon BBQ" is opening soon!

I'm from Cali, we have something out there called Yoshinoya, This is the closest place I found that serves similar food. I don't expect the same cheap prices mainly because this place screams out mom and pop but dear God, this place is overpriced to the max. I never mind spending money on good food but they skimp out on the meat. They load you up on rice with very little meat. I asked for ginger as a side condiment to my to go order and when I get home I get one little container with three small pieces of ginger. No exaggerating! Safe to say this was the worst way to spend ten dollars. No food was bland and tasteless. Overall, I'm disappointed.

I feel like if you're going to charge us that much for a bic bow ob beef and rye at least actually have the decency of putting more beef in it. For that price I'd rather go to Chipotle for a steak burrito bowl or maybe even Tokyo Joes because at least I would have been full. The food is just ok if even, but definitely not worth the price. If they're charging that much, you'd think they can at least remodel the place. I feel like I'm using the restroom at a gas station or something. You know the typical horror scene right before you get killed when you're popping a squat and suddenly the dimly lit fluorescent light flickers and the door eerily creaks open and the ominous music plays and someone trudges in and suddenly stops. Ok perhaps I may be a tad bit over exaggerating but the place can use a bit sprucing up! And please stop skimping on the average food! My rice had more flavor than the beef or lack there of.

Overpriced for the amount of meat they give. The decor looks like it did back in the late 90s. This place was better under the past owners who I believe still run that Kiki's restaurant on Colorado Blvd. . The JFC pieces are still ok but not like it used to be.

Not bad and not great.. The building is really run down, I'm told the owners of the building won't do much to improve the place, order extra meat on the beef bowls. Other wise you just get a lot of rice... It's a bit on the pricy side for what you get.

I was craving some Kokoro, so decided to give this place a chance since it is much closer. It's not the same quality as Kokoro, but is an alright alternative to avoid the drive for Aurora folks. The beef in their combination bowl was very flavorful, but it was a bit fatty for my tastes. The inari roll was nothing special, but was not a disappointment. However, the beef udon soup was excellent. And the ginger condiment was fabulous!

If I could go 2 1/2 stars I would, but I'll round up to 3 just because I sorta feel bad for them :p haha. First off, this place needs some SERIOUS renovation. The exterior looks like it's starting to fall apart, and the inside, well it's not too bad I suppose. The food was okay, the service was okay, I would be way more impressed if they were clean!! It's kinda gross, but hey my family was hungry so we paid more attention to the food rather than the cleanliness. On that note, I got the beef noodle bowl. Pretty good!! The beef was really tender, sliced thin and juicy!! Served on top of some nice fat white noodles. (I think they were udon) I agree with another review that the food is sorta warm when served. Meaning? It might not be so fresh. Oh well. What can you do? I'll say this is a good place to get something quick and tasty but not if you want super high quality Asian food/terriyaki. P.S. When we were ordering at the counter, (we were the only ones, hmmm business is dead? It was lunch hour lol) I could hear some lady really hacking up a storm. I couldn't tell if she was in the kitchen or in the nearby bathroom. Let's just say I lost my appetite for a second ;]

What happened to this place? It use to be really good. I went there recently and ordered the chicken bowl, it was awful. The workers there had a puss poor attitude, and it shows in their food. I suggest going somewhere else if you are hungry. I would give a .0009 star.

Food/Quality: I tried the beef bowl here and there really isn't much good to say about it. The food that my boyfriend and I both received was barely warm, and we ate it there in the dining area! Atmosphere: The dining area was not heated very well for a winter day, and there were few customers inside. Service: Even though we were the only ones at the counter when we ordered, we still had to wait a while to order as the same person taking orders at the drive-thru helped us with our order. The staff didn't have a sense of urgency to take our order...they must have better business at the drive-thru. Value: For the price of the bowls, there wasn't much food included, at least not when I compare it to places like Yoshinoya. Overall, if I was hungry for something quick and inexpensive I might stop here, but there are other options.

I felt a lil nostalgic, so thought I'd give a shout out to colorado. :) This place was THE hang out place for lunch during high school (wow.... long time ago). I used to pack 10 friends from creek in my car and drive all the way to aurora to kick it with my peeps at lunch.... i've been recently been craving their beef noodle bowls... mmmm.... and the jfc (japanese fried chicken)... i had that almost everyday! sooooo good. i heard it's not so good anymore, but it sure does bring back A LOT of memories!!

No it's not clean, no it's not cool, no it doesn't have a nice dining room. So why is everyone still going? Consistently fast, cheap, edible food. When I lived in Aurora I went often, usually through the drive thru. If you can eat with chop sticks while driving it's great on the go. It's one of my guilty pleasures, (don't tell anyone I'm a regular.) Yes, it's a dive, but it's so yummy!

The food here is always good but the one thing that sticks out is the JFC, Japanese Fried Chicken. I must say that this resturaunts JFC blows any franchise fast food chicken out of the water! Its tender like no other and comes with a dipping sauce that is out of this world.
