Delicious drinks but it definitely does take awhile for the bartenders to make. Josh the bartender has his own list of speciality drinks which are amazing! Drinks are a bit pricy

If you have a lot of time and don't mind being treated like you're invisible then this is the place for you. There are too many other great places in Aspen that want to provide good service. Today this place earned their third strike from me.

Eclectically unique! Cordials you can't anywhere else... And bar service with a tremendous flare and theatrical presentation. Must go in Aspen!

Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Had the kale salad and veggie burger. Both were great!

REALLY GREAT SERVICE! Friendly, helpful, great drinks. Super cute atmosphere. Reminded me of a place called Craft and Commerce in San Diego. Not too packed and plenty of seating (of course I was there in the off-season!) Easy taxi service all around. You can walk there from dinner or to and from other bars. Definitely give this place a try!

Love the place. Great happy hour 11-5. Try the fried pickles.

Great food, service and prices. Had a steak for lunch - was deelish! We visited w the owner and she was very friendly. She told us of the history of the building - it being a former bank back in the day. I would eat here again!

A must do in aspen. The chicken wings are off the chart!! The bartenders are true mixologist as well. A cocktail menu like I've never seen before.

Very cool and laid-back bar located in downtown Aspen. Good crowd. Great live music and the bar specializes in its mixed drinks and craft brews.

Wife and I came here for drinks and were blown away. Bartenders know what they're doing and put on a nice show. Excellent drinks! Sit at the bar for the show!

Justice Snow's was a pleasant surprise. We had dinner here twice on our short spring ski vacation to Aspen. The prices are reasonable and the food/drinks are fantastic. It was easy to book a last-minute reservation and the service was excellent. Absolutely no complaints. In fact, we wish we came here all three nights for dinner as the menu has some exceptional items. Try the beet salad, it's AMAZE! Also, don't hesitate to ask if the bartender can whip up a special cocktail for you. They have a few tricks up their sleeves over there. Enjoy!

I had one of the most memorably delicious dishes for lunch I have ever tasted. It was small croquettes made of vegetarian blends, crisp on the outside, with a marvelous sauce. I understand patrons beg for the receipt but the chef is too wily to give it out Only solution: go back!

The drink menu is so long almost overwhelming, but the bartenders are super helpful in helping you find the right drink. We also had the oysters which were delicious! We didn't want to leave, but after 3 cocktails thought I should stop while ahead!

Good food. Good drinks. Great happy hour (11am - 6pm w/ $3 shot and beer). The burger is very good. As a matter of fact almost everything I've eaten there has been consistent and good. Getting a drink can be slow especially when they are busy.

I can't believe this place isn't packed every night! The menu has EVERYTHING. Fresh, seasonal, healthy vegetable-packed food; burgers; pasta....you name it. I went for the scallops and was blown away. This place shines most on the drinks. The cocktail menu is over 20 pages along. My drink was a mix of apple brandy, bourbon, walnut bitters, orange juice, and maple syrup. All that, plus live music and a super friendly staff. I'm sold.

I really dig the interior style and design of this place, which was the reason we were lured into trying it. The service was painfully slow and the restaurant was empty except for one or two other parties. We ordered the quinoa salad which was terrible, the meat on the burger had zero taste, and the acorn squash with curried chickpeas was the only thing that wasn't awful. I really wanted to like this place. When our server finally appeared, he was very nice. There are too many good places in Aspen to get good casual fare, I will not be back unless it is to only have a drink.

Great drinks. They don't just have bartenders the have some serious mixologist. The drinks are great and the staff is extremely friendly. It's a great atmosphere there's always a good amount of sexy lady's.

Fantastic food, great service, fun atmosphere. A must stop if staying in Aspen. We had the flat iron steak and the daily chop...you can't go wrong. Our waiter was attentive and helped me choose a fantastic wine.

The philosophy and food are amazing: local, organic, sustainable, etc. for a good value. Interesting and yummy cocktail menu! Service is a challenge: from server attitude to utterly slow service, and have to request everything: refills of water, beverages. I hope the owners can manage to improve service for a total dining experience, as the food is some of Aspen's best, but without better service, I would not frequent, except maybe for cocktails at the bar....

Love the drink list and menu! Sometimes it takes too long to get a drink, but as they say patience is a virtue. Food is pretty good and the staff is very knowledgeable about the spirits and beer. I will be back!!

Maybe we caught them on an (incredibly) off night? The Short of It: Atmosphere is lovely, and the drinks, when we got the right ones, were delicious. Buyer beware of unposted 18% gratuity add-on for all cocktail only orders! Horrible service: wrong drinks, drinks made poorly, incorrect bills, accusatory staff. The Long of It: Service was completely chaotic bordering on outright rude. We were a party of 5, with two of us having arrived 40 minutes prior to the other 3. The three latecomers got two drinks we did not order in the first round. We then sat with empty glasses for over 15 minutes. One of us signalled the waitress and said "We'd like to order more drinks when you get the chance." She curtly nodded and kept walking. Five minutes later she arrives at the table with another round for the entire table. Only three of us were planning on ordering more drinks, and we did not want the same drinks as our first round. Oh well, we just went with it as she gave the impression that it was a real inconvenience to be dealing with us. One of these drinks, a standard dirty martini, was inexplicably made with honey vodka and a generous honey swirl, rendering it candy sweet, something a dirty martini should definitely not be. Once again, we shrugged it off rather than bother our rude server who never returned to check on us. We then had to flag her down for the check, got a snarky comment when we asked for it to be split (we had assumed that it would be as one part of the party had arrived so much later). The checks arrived and were completely wrong, listing wrong drinks and wrong quantities. We told her and she said "I really think you ordered three of those." Since no one had cleared empty glasses from our table the entire time, we invited her to count the glasses. She raised her voice at us "You have to understand, I have so many tables", repeatedly accused us of lying about phantom drinks that we never ordered or received, huffed away, brought back new checks (still wrong) and had added an 18% gratuity! At this point, we asked to speak to a manager who told us that it was customary to add gratuity to cocktail only orders (even though this had not been added to our original bills). We tried to relay why we were not planning on leaving that level of gratuity given the horrid service level but she was not interested, saying "I am sure that your server wanted you to have a good evening." She did eventually agree to take the gratuity off the bill and cursorily thanked us for "bringing it to her attention" but she had never actually listened to our experience. All in all, a real disappointment. In our parties travels all over the world, in high end establishments to dive bars, none of us have encountered a situation like this!

I have heard things about the drinks and the spiced rum cocktail I had was excellent. The ambiance was good and the bar was a vibrant scene. However the food was disappointing. My wife and I split 3 dishes. The chicken wings were, in both our opinions, were the best chicken wings we have ever had. However, the fried chick pea dish was horrible and the elk meatloaf was mediocre.

Justice Snow's is a great place. The bar is excellent, great food that is a bit different than the normal you find around here. The choices are all across the board, you want to try everything. The bar and bartenders are impressive, excellent cocktails and a good selection of beers. Justice Snow is the place for a drink in town. They are in the center of all the action, walking distance to every other place in Aspen. Perfect place for a drink before or after dinner, and top notch restaurant to-boot!

Excellent drinks and great atmosphere. We didn't eat anything but the drinks we had were outstanding. Heading back to try another drink!

LOVE this spot. Yes, the drinks are incredible-- thoughtfully prepared, fun to drink, and the bartenders are so knowledgeable and creative, you're by no means limited to the menu (though it's pages and pages long!). But This review is about the wonderful food there as well. We had dinner there this past Saturday night and it was fantastic-- the cheese plate was tasty and a great way to start (Humbolt Fog goat, a perfect aged gouda and a salty-awesome pecorino). Next up, the beat and shredded kale salad-- GET IT! It's, as another reviewer said, "AMAZE." The vinaigrette on there ties the whole thing together beautifully, and it's so so good. For din, I had the "chef's whim" daily pasta-- this was a duck confit, kale and black garlic white wine sauce over the lightest most lovely fettuccine. Delicious, thoughtful, cozy food. John my bf had an awesome steak with bleu cheese butter; (I can't do bleu, but) he loved it. We also had a bottle of wine, and walked out of there with a tab just over $100-- an amazing deal for a meal this good anywhere, especially in Aspen. Such a total gem.

AMAZING place to get cocktails. If Josh is there, get his award winning Double RPM. My boyfriend and I were in town from Chicago and thank goodness we stopped in! The bartenders are all fantastic and can help you find a cocktail that you will love. The food is great too- we got the wings and loved them. I would definitely say it is the new go-to spot for a delicious cocktail in Aspen.

Justice Snows is one of the best cocktail bars that I have ever been to. The prices are on par with the cocktail bars in New York City so I actually think this place is a pretty good deal is Aspen. You cannot order a bad drink here. The bartenders will make you any kind of drink you can imagine, and they are happy (unlike some places) to craft a custom cocktail for you. There is also a current drink menu, as well as a massive drink menu of all their seasonal cocktails. There are easily 100+ cocktails in the cocktail Bible they have here. It is especially fun to go with a friend so that you can sample multiple concoctions. Drinks range from about $14-$22, but you are getting top shelf liquor. I also have stopped into Justice Snow's for brunch, and I got some fantastic lemon ricotta pancakes ($13) here. The pancakes had blueberries in them as well and were delicious. I would actually recommend passing on the $5 mimosas because the two I had here were pretty bad. The waitress said that the normal champagne shipment hadn't come in, but the alcohol that was used was not so good. If you are coming in for brunch, they bring in country singers from Texas on Sunday mornings. Not my favorite when I am trying to talk to people, but the music is pretty good if that is your scene.

First thoughts when walking in here: this is a legitimate cocktail bar. You know it's good when fresh fruit (and vegetables) line the bar. You also know it's good when they have a smattering of bitters scattered around. Had some cocktails, and some nibbles as well. Got the wagyu/pork meatballs that were in a smoky chipotle sauce. I don't know that I would turn good wagyu beef into a meatball because I'd like to eat it in its purist form, but they were pretty darn tasty. We also had burrata, which never disappoints. Give me burrata and some bread and I'll have it for breakfast daily if I was allowed! It was served with fava beans and tomatoes in balsamic vinaigrette.

Justice Snow's has a killer happy hour, go for that. Just know that the draft menu is small (I think 4-6 beers) which is strange. The margs were excellent and on HH as well. The menu has all sorts of options to feed pretty much any taste. Our group all ended up ordering the house burger, which is kind of like a "small print" option. The menu doesn't even list the price or what sides it comes with. Only $10 BTW and it was fantastic! Fries were excellent too. Service was friendly, efficient, and on top of things. Definitely give Justice Snow's a try if you're in Aspen.

Looking like a local bar with some tables, no one expected the interesting twists on food we found there. The room was decorated with Victorian remnants, eclectic mirrors and interesting light fixtures. In addition the kitchen is known for its terrific Angus burger & fries. You can order regular fries or sweet potato waffle chips or a strange side dish like tempura pickle spears to accompany your main dish. There are other entrees on the menu in case you're not a burger fan. This was easily one of the most unique restaurants we ate at in Aspen; a funky, well-worn atmosphere serving up a fresh slant on food preparation.

Average food delivered in a fancy manner. Very expensive for average food. I guess this is because of the trendy location of downtown Aspen. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but not as good as the price was high. Service was average. It is conveniently attached to the historic Wheeler Playhouse and we were attending a play that night so it worked out perfectly. First time in Aspen and found it's hard to find quality restaurants at a decent price. In fact, they really don't exist. But I would recommend Justice Snows as it is in a good location.

This is the best place in Aspen to visit upon your arrival. Also the best place to go when you are ready to leave. Also there is no reason not to go there any time during your stay in Aspen. Wonderful handcrafted cocktails and three meals a day. Plus maybe the best bar snacks and small plates in the city.

I would say this restaurant did not live up to the past reviews that led us to try Justice Snow's. We got in a little before they began serving dinner, so we ordered a couple of appetizers and drinks; the wings and cheese board. The apps and drinks were average, nothing that really stood out. For dinner, we ordered the Flatiron steak and the Lamb Chop. The lamb was good, well-cooked, but the flatiron, cooked medium rare, was very salty. It really took away from the flavor of the meat. The atmosphere was a bar with a few tables. I think there was a downstairs area as well, but I did not see it. So, if you take the atmosphere and the food, I would have to give this restaurant only an average rating. Not bad, but definitely not at the top of my list on our future visits.

Nice ambiance, attentive service and tasty food. Prices were a little high, but I think Aspen is just expensive. A few more reasonably priced options for wine by the glass would be great - and maybe a nice burger? Menu was a tad fussy for the atmosphere. But I had the Kale salad, husband had the lamb, and they were both great.

More of a 3.5. Was good but not too impressive. We had burrata and a salad. Both were good but the service wasn't great.

I'm sad that I've been to Aspen so many times and have never stopped by this gem! The drinks were so delicious and flavorful, and the food... Oh my. The miso butter used in the flatiron steak was heaven. Will definitely be back very soon!

This is a big-city bespoke-quality cocktail bar (with very good food, too) in the heart of Aspen. J-Bar at the Jerome is where you go for that old Aspen upscale vibe and rich history. Justice Snow's, a comparative newcomer, is where you go for the best damn cocktails in the valley. This is a place that does all the little things right. But isn't a merely intellectual, hushed atmosphere of liquor-worship, but also a friendly, heartful, and convivial place where everyone is having a good time. Plenty of locals, too, which is always a key sign in a tourist town. Justice is absolutely competitive with all the great cocktail places of NYC and LA. Aside from an extensive 40-something page of written cocktails, liquors, aperitifs, and digestifs, the bartender will also make you his own favorite concoctions, based on your input, and whatever rare and interesting bottles they might have. If you have a passion for a certain type or category of booze, let them know, and see what they can come up with. Chances are, they'll help you discover some new favorites. Tell the barkeep what you're in the mood for, or what you like or don't, and let him get to work. You will discover all-new things and you will emerge the better person for it. Jacob, the main bartender the night we were there, seems destined for a renowned career on par with all the famous names of the cocktail culture across the USA. An up-and-coming talent, I'm telling you. Go there right away and have him concoct for you while you still can....before some big city program snatches him up and puts him on the cover of Imbibe Magazine. For the boring among you, you'll also like to know that, unlike some of the trendiest cocktail places in big cities, they will serve you the basic brands, too. (Don't do that. Not if you have a scintilla of taste or adventurousness.) Bottom line: as good of a cocktail place -- with really, really good food, too-- as you'll find in Aspen.

Just eat the food and ignore the number of $$ signs jumping off the bill. I've been twice and both times the food was solid. The butternut squash soup was TO DIE FOR, which I take as a sign of a great chef. After all, it was just some veggies, liquid and spices all blended up, but managed to have great depth. I think I had the duck and mussels as well, which were both good. The drink menu is really fun, and I want to try them all, lest I not make it back for another year. Back to the prices. Maybe they aren't expensive *for Aspen* but there I had some sticker shock. It's all so good I keep eating and drinking, not realizing how it all adds up.

Excellent flatbread with an egg on top. Lemon ricotta pancakes are also tasty. Service is friendly and fast. I ate there two mornings in a row. We saw the fire chief.

Sit in the bar and order a burger with sweet potato fries. It's not on the menu and it's the best $10 burger in Aspen. The brussel sprouts are delicious- I wish I had asked for the recipe so I can re-create them. The sweet potato fries are thinly sliced and salty- some of the best I have ever had. The bartender's are awesome and have the perfect beverage for you- just tell them what you like and they create a perfect drink. It feels like a speak easy or bar during prohibition times. I would definitely go back.

Food was great. We had the tempura pickles (incredible) and the sriacha deviled eggs (also delicious) to start. Then I had the all natural burger with fries both also really good. Atmosphere is awesome and the music was choice!

In one is the oldest buildings in Aspen. Right next door to the Wheeler Opera House which is an Historical business also. The bar background is imported from France. The rest of the bar and restaurant are authentic and original. The soup of the day was Butternut Squash and was unbelievable. The drinks were on HappyHour and excellent, our Bartender was Matt. He is very knowledgable and needs to be, over 100 cocktails available and the Wine and Beer menu is massive. The prices are reasonable, and the menu has enough choices for anyone.

Our bartender Quinn made the afternoon a lot of fun. For a delicious and different martini, ask for the picante!

When you want to drink in Aspen, you come here. If you want live music, here. If you want dinner, here. All three at the same time? Save yourself some trouble and come here. In my two weeks here, I went to Justice Snow's at least three times, but had I not been dealing with the flu for 68% of my trip, I'm sure it would have been more. The food is reasonably priced and delicious - this was probably one of my favorite meals here. Big recommendations are the tempura pickles, deviled eggs (beware of truffle oil), herb roasted chicken, wagyu burger, and house cut fries. The drink menu...has way too many pages to adequately absorb all of the possibilities. It reminded me of a Manhattan speakeasy, just moderately less expensive, and not cash only. You can come here and get some great beers on tap, or experience slow sipping with some very strong cocktails. (Absinth anyone?) Come for dinner, walk around, come back for more drinks, live music, and more drinks.

We enjoyed our dinner here greatly. The menu is pretty basic, burgers, chops etc, but the execution is delicious and the wait staff friendly and efficient. For Aspen, we found this place a good value, and will definitely be back on future trips. We went as a family with kids 10 and 15, but Justice also has a nice bar area to go as singles or couples.

Had a most devine dinner at this casual, local watering hole. Duck Confit with pate and fig compote put together ingredients that married the whole dish as one satisfying dining experience...added tasty Mustard seed that just delighted the palate. I enjoy haute cuisine all over the world and congratulations to the creative chef that got this down to a fine science. Other Aspen restaurants aren't blessed with this sofisticated menu Keep it up...... Shirley

Hands down best breakfast ive ever had. I had the duck confit hash and ricotta pancakes (i couldnt resist ordering both they sounded so good) along w an amazing bloody mary. Also tried the mac n cheese. Unreal. I will definitely be back. Our server was friendly along with the very welcoming hostess, Marley.

Do I love this place Because it's really fun and good or because several of the male servers were hot? Hmm, a toss up. But the service was excellent, everyone was fun and made our dinner great! The albondigas, oh my Gatos! Beet salad... Yum. And the siracha deviled eggs are a tasty snack treat. Not much of a patio if you are looking for al fresco dining. And apparently it's gets hopping later on but like we'd know, we're over 40 and have to be in bed by 9. So only four stars because the menu is very good but not great, that's ok it's totally worth going but I take reviews seriously and save five stars for earth shattering, world rocking culinary experiences. And the ambiance is just fine but nothing amazing. Do go though, it's worth the trip!

Came here evening of Easter holiday. I wanted lamb and had seen on yelp they had it. The menu did have lamb but mint was absent of the description. I asked the waiter about whether they had any form of mint for the lamb and he said no. I was annoyed at that so, I ordered the steak instead, medium rare. Came out medium well. Not a tinge of pink in the entire meat. I'm not really the pickiest guy around so this was the first steak in 15 years I've sent back to the kitchen. Was asked by waiter if I wanted to keep the sides with the original steak. No I didn't, wasn't enough substance of them to keep me hanging. Might as well be fresh with the new steak! New waiter brought out new steak. Felt bad about old waiter. I thought he was doing fine, just the kitchen was off. New steak was fine. Nothing special but at least it was cooked right. Sides? More like a small thing you barely notice. Too much emphasis on fancy presentation leaves the dish itself uninteresting. This is nearly a one star review. Keeping it a 2 star due the the original waiter humoring my frustration with the menu.

Enjoy this downtown location with great food and excellent service. Fresh & authentic. Wings include the drumstick - a real appetizer. Salmon was exquisite, served on a farrotto. Kale chip on top adds a green touch. Flavor, flavor! Acorn squash was another worthy choice - a quinoa/chickpea curry stew poured over half of a squash. Repeat customer for sure (if I lived here).

Two words: Hipster Western. You know how a lot of new age Americana restaurants trend to be old timey...but harken to more of an Industrial Age feel? This place is of the same ilk ... But more saloon like. K with that aside, this place is great. Expensive but very tasty cocktails (~$15) and delicious entrees (had the bass). Decent portions and attentive service. It's also laid back and has a cool vibe. Would be a great place to just drink as well.

Keegan D.
Great place for craft cocktails and I was pleasantly surprised they carried my favorite Texas beer! I went alone to drink and read, the bartenders were chatty and sweet to me, but gave me my space. Drinks were reasonably priced, and the atmosphere was adorable. The crowd was surprisingly lively for a Monday night, but the vibe was cool and not douchey. Will definitely be visiting again before my vacation is over.

JP behind the bar is a rock star!! Threw every obscure & delicately assembled drink at him, and he'll nail it. Most have his signature PDA.

We have not eaten the food here but the drinks are amazing. Being that I am currently pregnant I absolutely LOVED that they had a non-alcoholic specialty drink menu section. And let me tell you, the drinks were delishious. Love the decor too. I only give this three stars because the hostess was a total _____. My husband, sister, brother-in-law, and I came in after dinner one night and the hostess was down-right nose up at us when we told her we were simply in for some drinks. She essentially told us there was no where for us to sit and that we could just stand (double-parked) at the bar behind someone else. We found a small corner and section and made our own table out of it with a chair that was being unused only for the _____ hostess to come over and very snotty-like tell us that she was planning on making a table out of that area and that we would have to leave once someone else got there. Needless to say, we had one round and left. By the way that one round consisted of two Pappy Van Winkle pours...and if you don't know what that is, it's about 30$ a pop. BUT we shouldn't have to tell someone that we are planning on spending money at their establishment to get a little niceness. Anyway, great drinks, great decor, crappy door-lady (I retract my calling her a hostess and degrade her to a door lady to make myself feel better about the experience).

so far my favorite everyday breakfast spot in town. They open at 7:30 during peak seasons. We had the eggs Benedict & eggs any style with bacon or sausage, toast & hash-browns. Hubby had the Benedict- said the eggs were perfectly poached & the hollandaise was spiced with Siracha I had scrambled eggs (not too soft or too hard) with sausage, homemade patties...YUM! Your choice of bread- muffin, wheat or sourdough toast- I had the sourdough. Plus hash-browns, perfectly crisp little slices of some sorta small potato. It's all in the details here... the salt came in a cute wooden bowl w/a tiny little spoon. The butter even came on it's own plate in a nice square. The jam- blackberry came in a cute little side dish too! And major bonus- the staff is super friendly- our waiter, Donnie, was from San Antonio & gave us a discount card to the local grocery store!

This bar has amazing cocktails. I ordered something random because it had the word tequila in it, and it turned out amazing! It was served in two separate glasses. One with a fresh watermelon (i watched him open/cut a brand new one) bloody mary mix and one with a healthy serving of tequila. The point was to take a little sip of one then the other. It was a bit intimidating at first but turned out to be amazing. I wish more places were this creative!!! One star taken away for pretentiousness of the staff (a bit much even for Aspen).

These guys know how to make cocktails. Was recommended to us as the best cocktail bar in town and they delivered. Haven't had the food yet but I hear good things about that too. Regardless, come here for cocktails, not just beer or wine...

The best meals we had in Aspen to date !! Awesome and extensive drink menu. The smashing pumpkins cocktail is the best for a warm apres ski cocktail or nightcap. The duck breast entree is to die for and the presentation of everything was meticulous. It is evident that everyone there takes pride in their work and service. Every bartender and server we had was knowledgeable, pleasant and able to help pick the best drink for you from the interesting and creative drink menu. My husband's top sirloin dinner was delicious. Beautiful presentation of everything I saw. Can't say enough good things about this place ! We come to Aspen every year and will definitely be back again and again.

This review is purely on cocktails; I haven't had the food. But the Absent After Work and the PDA was amazing! Bartender was really nice and attentive, despite the frat party that was taking over the restaurant. Very nice feel to it and live music. Recommend when in Aspen, definitely!

That pork rillete mush in a jar was the worst thing I have ever been served. It was not even warm, and honestly it just ruined the palate for anything else. We left without touching the rest of our food and the server did not even seem to notice. Ugh. There are just too many other choices in Aspen. I'd return to watch/listen to music, but would eat elsewhere prior. Drinks are probably ok as long as you stay away from some of the overly ambitious cocktails. Some of those made me think there was a two-way mirror where someone would laugh as another sucker ordered what cannot possibly be a pleasant tasting $18 cocktail...

Loved this place on our recent visit to Aspen. The cocktail menu is staggering, as is the technique of the bar staff. We sampled several drinks, all of which were great: Southern Domaine, Wasatch Fizz, Lily Thai and Be Still Prudence. Of course, only skimming the surface. Also shared a few yummy small plates, including the Truffle Fries (the most delicious I've tried), Deviled Eggs and Pork & Foie Gras Pate. Interior is class, music is good. All in all, a great experience, and I hope to return on a future visit.

Unbelievable - made a reservation on Open Table last week for the 4th of July - they called to confirm reservation, then when I show up they tell me I have to sit at the bar with 50 inebriated 4th of July revelers- needless to say that did not fly - obviously a two bit joint not worth my time or money - would advise others to avoid this deceptive place.

Good spot for high quality drinks and nice food. Drinks are top notch. Try the burrata appetizer plate. One of the best.

Awesome building, fun crowd, and decent beer. We were just wandering around Aspen, and my wife saw someone eating fried pickle spears, and she just had to have some. So we rolled in, they seated us at a lovely table along the sidewalk, and we quaffed a few microbrew beers along with the tempura-battered pickles (yes, it sounds gross but they are great with a cold beer). Can't comment on anything else on the menu, as we had to roll on to the next bar, but looked like a fun spot to hang out.

I was walking by and heard a live band from the street. I stopped in for a nightcap on a Sunday night and was not disappointed. The live band was sharp and the environment was mellow. I ordered a Manhattan and sat at the bar. My drink was made with care and for a decent price. Watching the bartenders, they take care in crafting a right cocktail. Great spot.

Atmosphere was awesome. Drinks amazing and the Duck dish was to die for! A must when you are in Aspen.

staff was wonderful (and super cute)! food was very good, nice small plate choices (devils on horseback...yummmm!), lovely atmosphere, wish the drink menu was as exciting as it was purported, but all in all still a great experience all around.

If your ever going to Aspen, this is a nice bar, located in the center of everything that is Aspen shopping and dining. Parking can be somewhat of a hassle, but Justice Snow's boasts great service, nice classy decor, unique mixology, and some pretty darn amazing food. Didn't think butternut squash made into hush puppies would be all that good, but it has to rank as one of the best hush puppies I've ever had. Note, that they did not advertise this as a hush puppy, but that is pretty much what it was. Had some Blue Nectar tequila cocktail, from the Blue Nectar people themselves. Thank you, it was very creative and I learned a lot about Tequila this weekend as part of the Apres Ski Cocktail Classic. All in all, it was a nice evening, meeting some cool people and getting to try some new experiences!

This review pertains only to the cocktails. We have been here a few times for cocktails and always loved it. We have had a couple from the menu, and a few others that the bartender made for us. Those off menu cocktails were definitely the best ones.

Who can read this cocktail menu on a busy night at the bar? I assume its filled with a large selection of carefully crafted cocktails.. but it was in what appears to be ancient script, size 10 font, and a paragraph on each drink. This is a menu for sitting, perusing, and discussing with the server/tender - not rushing an order in at the bar. Stick with something straight at this point - you'll thank me later. Feeling rushed, I ordered what I thought sounded good.. but clearly misread, and left it at the bar 3/4's full... and myself $18 poorer.

They were nice people, easy to work with. The server was not as attentive as we would have liked as we sometimes waited a bit long for attention, but nice menu, good bar, and generous pours on the wine. My pork was rather overcooked (good sized portion) and my partner was surprised at how little beef he received (I passed on the scallops after learning that only 3 were included). Dessert was generous though and the appetizers were great, one was a date wrapped in bacon with goat cheese. The other was a raw Hamachi, and it was delicious! I would go back, the bar was lively, but wouldn't have a great expectation on the food.

I gave it a 2 because of the whole experience of the evening, which does not reflect the food. This was our first time at justice snow and will be our last unless they get their act together. Too many good restaurants to choose from in Aspen so why go back to a place where you don't receive the service you expect. First we walked in around 6 pm where most tables were sitting empty, but 10 minutes later we were told by the hostess all those tables were reserved! When I asked what time the reservations were for the answer was 7 pm. So we were offered to eat at the bar area with the low stools and little round tables almost touching the floor. We were 3 of us so 3 complete meals and drinks were barely fitting the tables. Also the bread which was dry and cost $8.00! Crazy . I admit the food was good and the waiter was very attentive. The hostess apologized for us not getting a table, but wasn't in her hands. So we left at 7:15 and still most tables were empty. We witnessed at least 20 people being turned away between our time there because of those"reserved" tables.

I am on the road a lot, and look to Yelp for guidance when I am in unknown cities. This bar has the best selection of drinks that I've ever seen in my life. The bartenders are skilled...I suggest that you go and order a "difficult" drink and watch in awe as the make it effortlessly. Yes it's a little pricey, but it's Aspen!

My boyfriend and I were visiting Aspen for the X-games and came to have lunch at Justice Snows. It was our first time there and it was amazing! The bartender Liz was very attentive and friendly. She made me a tequila drink with cucumber swirled around the glass. It was delicious! My boyfriend had a beer and shot happy hour special that was a great deal. Best burger for $10 ever! I'll absolutely be back next time I'm in Aspen.

This place fits Aspen well. Great prohibition style atmosphere with a creative food and cocktail menu. We ate at some great restaurants on this trip and the duck dish at this one was the overall favorite. Only reason for the 4 is the service was good but not great.

I had an amazing Mother's Day Brunch at Justice Snow yesterday. The vegetarian entree of Acorn Squash filled with chickpea quinoa kale stew was awesome. I want the recipe. The mimosa was on the house for mom's and was refilled as quickly as I drank it. The waiter was very attentive. The rest of my party enjoyed their food too. My son had a Bloody Mary that he mixed himself with all kinds of spices. We all enjoyed the experience and would definitely return to the restaurant if we get back to Aspen. We were visiting from Maryland!

Ok, here's the skinny. I'm pretty sure this should be a stop for every visitor in Aspen. Dinner at the bar is a fabulous choice, watching the talented bartenders mix up old school cocktails. If you're boring like me (don't get a beer) look at the huge book of drinks and get one. Don't see anything? They'll make one just for you.
This place is amazing. Their cocktail bible is ridiculous and I tried so hard to sweet talk my way out with one but it didn't work :/ . During my stay I came here 4 times. Once for dinner, thrice for drinks. The drinks. Are. Amazing. Apparently they got voted as one of the top cocktail bars in the US on playboy and were featured on Gallivant. There are so many choices, I'd say trust the bartender. Keith Goode was there when I was drinking and led me on a beautiful journey. Enjoy. This is mixology at its best. Oh the food is great too.

Two stars only for the quality of their cocktails - very inventive, interesting and reasonably strong. Would consider coming here for drinks in the future. Will avoid going for dinner. 8:45 reservation wasn't seated until 9:30. Ordered lamb chops rare, and they came out medium well. Friendly servers but slow service.... a lackluster band was playing while we were eating our meal.

Hubs and I had the pleasure of spending 3 nights in Aspen last weekend. This is a new place that is definitely worth a visit. Though we only had drinks here, the bartenders are absolutely meticulous and if you're a Denverite, think Green Russell in terms of craft. Their cocktail list is impressive and actually quite reasonable. I had a tequila fresca for $10 and it was artful and delicious! My husband took the beer route and had a Flemish Red that smelled and tasted like a fine wine. It was incredible. I highly recommend this place for drinks when you're in Aspen!

I cannot tell you how many times this Aspen bar was recommended (by different people) during our short stay in Aspen - and after a couple of visits here, we understand why! If you sit a the bar, you can peruse their very extensive cocktail menu (but if you sit at a regular table, you can only order off a smaller menu). Their cocktail bar menu is beyond - pages and pages of different cocktails and drinks with interesting names (think "Monkey Gland"). They even had a glossary at the back of the menu for those with time to kill. The cool thing is, the bartender can even custom-mix a drink for you if you tell them what you like. We ordered off the menu - I had the "Strawberry Shrub" which is a nice, safe fruity drink. Tasted like strawberry soda! Someone else in our party ordered the "Purple Majesty" which sounded and looked better than it tasted. That one was a bit on the bitter side, with a strange aftertaste. Overall, a really cool concept that they can custom-mix a drink for you - definitely sets them apart!

Walking around Aspen blinded by hunger, we ended up in Justice Snow's, mostly because it just looked really cool from the outside and I was about to pass out. We beat the daily brunch rush and were seated promptly and were well tended to. We both ordered drinks, mine sans-alcoholic and Dan's with...and both were divine. We ordered a couple of salads, truffle fries, mussels, and some other sides. All were delicious. My favorite part of the restaurant was the ambiance. Trendy yet historic mountain town. I imagine this place gets quite crowded in the evenings, based on other reviews, but coming here for lunch was an enjoyable treat.

We came here for our anniversary. It was a lovely atmosphere, but that's about all the good we can say about our experience. Our server was quite rude and the food was terrible. We ordered their version of steak frites and the fries tasted like they'd dumped an entire jar of seasoned salt on it. We tried to scrape it off, but it was inedible. It was quite possibly the worst meal I've ever been served.

Great atmosphere! Very friendly people, great drinks and good food. Comparable prices for being on Aspen. Live bands. The bartender claimed to have the largest drink menu in North America, maybe the world. They have some great selections but I've seen bigger lists. All around one of my best experiences in a week of Aspen wondering.

Horrible service. Worse manager! Apparently new server, but we were patient with him and giving him the benefit of the doubt. He did forget to place one order so friend had to eat alone. Was not told about up charge for substitutions. Prices on menu don't reflect the "actual" price and manager refused to correct to price quoted on menu. I.e. cheese plate is not 3/$15 as on menu....when you get the bill it rings up at 3/$19.00. Manager wouldn't change. Manager chewed employee out in front of customers....very unprofessional! Group I was in stayed in three different hotels and we all told concierge about our experience so hopefully they won't recommend either.

If I wasn't on vacation with my dad, I would be coming here every night for the expert mixologist's on staff. But, I must leave an impression of sobriety in the company of my father, and go straight for the food. We ordered the creamy tomato soup, quinoa summer salad, and the burger. I was pleasantly surprised with my burger that came with shoestring fried onion's and sweet potato fries. Everything was served in a cute manner, that made me think we were in the South. Someone get me a Mint Julep, and we'll be all good. For Aspen, this place is extremely well priced... at least the food.

I'm from Chicago and my sister, friend and I just recently went on vacation to Aspen and we have to say we loved, loved, LOVED this place! First off the place and atmosphere are great, nicely decorated and nice stocked bar, but the main reason we liked it so much was because of our great bartender Jake Layton. He was so charismatic, attentive and his bar tending skills were right on point, he listened to what we liked in a drink and would prepare them to fit around what we had informed him. This place has an unlimited selection of drinks, the drink menu was huge so there isn't a problem with finding something you like, and if you have any questions i highly recommend just asking the bartenders for suggestions and i'm sure they won't disappoint! But definitely ask for jake!!

We stopped by Justice Snow's as part of a Yelp and Blue Nectar Tequila event. The event offered a few small plates and Tequila drinks. I skipped the cocktails, but thoroughly enjoyed the butternut squash fritters. They were, by far, the best butternut squash I have ever had! Great job! I can see why Justice Snow's is a favorite among locals. The next time we are in Aspen, we are definitely stopping in for dinner. Even though the appetizer was so good, I only gave them 4 stars because the desserts were a little lacking. We had the 4 layer chocolate cake and key lime pie. The cake was a little dry and the key lime pie needed to be a little more tart, for my taste. Thank you to Justice Snow's, Yelp, and Blue Nectar Tequila for a great evening!

We went there for brunch and the selection was good. We had the bacon wrapped medjool dates and the deviled eggs for appetizers and they were pretty good. Then for the main course we had the salmon and the hash carnitas - both very good as well. The guys that sat us down was a little rude. He really wanted to put is in a two people table

We recently had dinner here and the menu and reviews did not live up to it's reputation. All the tables were full, yet it felt a little empty. There was some confusion with the servers, so maybe it was just an off night for them? The food was good, but there are other restaurants that are just as good or better. Maybe if we came back for just cocktail and live music there would be a better vibe.

Reshma S.
This review is based on their drink menu alone. Justice Snow has one of the best cocktail menus I've ever seen and their Tequila drinks are especially delicious. I fell in love with their tequila drink nicknamed "Fumar" and went back several times while I was in Aspen for the drink. Also, the bar staff was friendly and knowledgeable about Aspen so that made for a great experience as well.

Here's an honest YELP review - the atmosphere is awesome - the drink menu is far too large (but still delicious) - however - the bartender channelling Peta from the Hunger Games thinks way too highly of himself. Bottom line #hesgottago

Stopped by for drinks after dinner during a girls' weekend in Aspen. Cute atmosphere, but when I saw the cocktail menu my thought was "The Cheesecake Factory of bars." Inexplicably, we had just one menu for our group of 5 women, so 2 of us hadn't even had a chance to peruse it when our waiter first came for our order. He was kind enough to bring us another one (roll eyes), but was back before I could give it much consideration. I ended up choosing a drink because it shared one of my dogs' names (Layla) and happened to luck out -- it was one of only 2 drinks any of us found to be palatable. When he came back to check on us, he apparently didn't notice that 3 of the 5 drinks had hardly been touched. When we responded to his "how is everything?" less than enthusiastically, he started to tell us about how everything is crafted from artesanal spirits and house-made bitters and syrups yadda yadda yadda and then conveniently disappeared until we flagged him down for our check. With an 18% gratuity added-on. Lovely. I'm giving them 2 stars since my cocktail was actually drinkable, but seriously, 3 of my friends could not give their drinks away.

I'm not one to rant about a bad experience, or give unwarranted/whiny Yelp reviews, so this review carries serious weight! The owner of Justice Snow's, Carlos, is the rudest individual I have ever encountered in my many years of dining. Sidenote: I live in New York City. My concept of "rude" is well informed. I reserved a table of 8 through Open Table, and with my confirmation number in tow, arrived with my entire party and was turned away (with major attitude) "because it wasn't confirmed in their system." My name was ON their computer screen. Spelled correctly in it's entirety. I had a confirmation number. I was greeted by my last name upon arriving by the host, in fact. What else makes for a RESERVATION? Here are some of the highlights from my conversation with Carlos, the owner: "I don't care that you made an online reservation." "I don't have to help you." "This isn't my problem and I don't care about your party." Upscale service, right? After personally inspecting the confirmation number on my phone, he said, "I no longer have a table, find somewhere else to go." Then a HUGE private party entered the restaurant. Obviously, they chucked us at the last minute for more business. Considering this joint? Think twice. If the service is this convoluted and nasty upon walking in, brace yourself for an awful experience.

Eclectic menu and huge cocktail list. Interesting atmosphere. Love that they still have some of the original items from the bank. A bit pricey, but what isn't in Aspen. Key lime pie and chickpea fries are great!

Aspen can be pretty uptight. So, naturally you want to find that local place that feels like Cheers, right? This is it! It was probably our best meal while in Aspen for the weekend earlier this year. JS is a split-level restaurant/bar with a experienced staff of mixologists behind the bar. Recommendation: if you are having dinner, try to sit in the back area (lower level) - the bar can get pretty crowded and overflow to the dining area (upper level). There is some seating outside when the weather permits. Also, make sure to confirm your reservation. The food was great. Each dish had an ample and delicious helping that left us wanting to come back for more. If it would fit in our stomachs :) The service was fast, efficient and pleasant. We asked a question about hiking in the area and our server asked another server, who was an experienced hiker, to come over to our table and provide information about the area. She gave us a comprehensive overview of the area - way to go the extra mile! Overall, a wonderful experience. Will return when back in Aspen.

Positive attitude and positive energy. The menu offers a wide variety of options, yet does not overwhelm. The mediterrenean chick peas appetizer rocks.

Oh Justice Snow's, how I love this place with its live music, leather bound drink menus, and the eclectic crowd. While Aspen seems an odd place for a speakeasy-esque bar, Justice Snow's fits in perfectly with the easy going, yet just pretentious enough crowd that infiltrates this mountain town. Go here for the live music and active dance floor and to mingle with locals and visitors alike. They have a great Moscow Mule that really packs a punch. We ran into some very nice ladies who had been coming to Aspen for a decade or more and said that Snow's was their go-to spot. I am pretty sure the only reason they came over to our table was to hit on my guy, but it worked out for me when they were sweet enough to pick up the tab too! Justice Snow's is a great place to meet up with old and new friends as the restaurant has large tables so strangers become drinking buddies when they are forced to share their seating area. It's a cool vibe that is very characteristically Colorado and especially Aspen with its small town feel. I didn't try the food but I hear the burger is awesome!

If you're looking for a fun cocktail place with a upscale trendy vibe, Justice Snow's is the place to be. Right in the heard of downtown Aspen, it's a great place to meet for a couple drinks.

Made a reservation for a mid week night; only to be called 30 minutes before meal time and told that our reservation was cancelled because someone bought out the whole restaurant for the evening Very rude, left us scuttling for other reservations at the last minute in Aspen! Think next time with your brain instead of your bank account! Will spread the word to other friends headed here this year and in the future. You think I'm mad?

40 minutes for a Guiness. These bartenders are full of themselves. I'm sure if ur a pretty girl, you'll get better attention, but it will still take a 15 minute show for your martini.

I have to say that we trusted the other reviews on here and were not dissapointed. My wife and I were in Aspen for the weekend and were looking for a bit more of a laid back atmosphere with good food and drinks and we found it here. The food was exceptional. We ate a number of the small plates and I had an entree as well. My wife just made a meal out of a few small plates. The portion size was decent (not large) but the food quality was great. This place is clearly known for their drinks and although we are both more of purists when it comes to our drinks (I don't like sweet drinks) we were both impressed by our drinks as well. The only reason this wasn't a 5 star review is that we felt rushed almost from the moment we sat down. That was a bit frustrating considering there were open tables around us the entire time we were there. I know it was a Sat. night in Aspen, but if you're not full, (and even if you are) I don't think your customers should feel like your main goal is to turn the table. All in all, we will go back when we're in Aspen. A full meal with a few drinks in that town for under $100 is pretty impressive!

The thing that struck me right away was you could absolutely tell the offerings of this place eminate from the owners(s); after talking to the bartender, I discovered that the wine selections were made by the taste, experience, palate, and research of the owners, not by trends, food/wine marketing dollars. I have serious doubts that the wine salesman from a distributor or importer has ever talk these guys into carrying one of their wines. This defining attribute proved itself even further in the quality and excellence of the lunch my wife and I enjoyed today. We shared the organic turkey cheese sandwich Which was marvelously moist flavorful and completed by excellent cheese and a cranberry infused spicy mustard(highly recommend). The Belgian endive salad with candied walnuts and blue cheese was fresh sublimely flavorful, crunchy and delicious. We started the lunch with the soup of the day which was tomato delicately complemented with Fontina cheese and a very fine olive oil. We were pressed for time, so no dessert. I did enjoy a very nice Super Tuscan(Argetiera), a 2010 Poggio Ai Ginepri (Bolgheri)- Superb!

Excellent cocktails and apps. I would highly recommend the tempura pickles and the chicken wings - both are beyond delicious. Cocktails are made with love, and look more like a work of art than a drink. Bartenders are fabulous, friendly and attentive. Go Snow's!

Justice Snow's came highly recommended from frequent Aspen visitors, locals, and the front desk of our hotel. I was not disappointed, and am so glad that I came here for lunch on my last day in town! The decor is eclectic, rustic and farmhouse-y. I love it. The staff was friendly and attentive, even though we were one of 5 occupied tables in the place - and it was definitely bigger than I thought it would be. The food was unreal. We started off with a cup of the cauliflower, leek and potato soup with cheese and chunky pieces of pork belly. It was so delicious that I can still taste it...and I want to eat so much more of it. I almost asked the chef for the recipe. I wish I had. I also had a small salad with salmon on it. You can add salmon, meat or tuna or any of the salads, although the salmon made it a little pricey, but totally worth it. It was exactly what I wanted to eat with exactly the right portions - and it was tasty. So, so, tasty.

We were disappointed with food. The bar is gorgeous, drinks spectacular, but the food was less than stellar. Salad very bitter, entree was the wrong cut of meat and super salty. Perhaps it was an off night, but would not recommend.

Went there because of the good reviews. We walked in looking for a drink and an app. My friend ordered the bloody Mary because he was interested in how the prepared it with beet infused vodka and gorgonzola stuffed olives. The bartender returned with our drinks and of course we tried them. M friend offered me a taste of the glossy Mary which I didn't notice any beet flavor. We asked the bartender of the taste was slight. He said that he prepared the drink with plain vodka as they where out. No apologies or hesitation. The olives were also not stuffed...just plain olives. It was strange that he didn't feel the need to point this out to us as my friend would have ordered something else. I gave it three stars as the atmosphere was nice and the menu looked interesting. Just hoping that the service can be improved as I really wanted to love it.

I have never written a negative yelp review, but couldn't help myself in this situation because of how disappointed I was with the service we got. I live in Denver and my parents who live in California came to visit. My dad used to live in Aspen so it has become a family vacation spot. Last week we went to visit to see his former downtown home and hang outs. We got in late and walked around downtown to find a place to get a drink. We walked into Justice Snow's. The hostess was no where to be seen, so we waited a good 5-10 minutes to be noticed. The hostess said there was a table in the back corner downstairs that was open but did not show us to the table so we found it ourselves. Then a man comes up and bluntly (and very rudely) said "This table has a reservation-- you can't sit here. You must leave." So we told him that the hostess directed us here, and he said "I'm the one seating tonight so I don't know who would have told you that." We walked up to the front to sit at the bar, and the (supposedly non-existent) hostess told us we couldn't sit at the bar because a group had a party of 8 coming. We asked the few who were expecting the remainder of their party to join if anyone else was coming and they said "not at all". My extremely disappointed father, became discouraged about the cute mountain town he once loved and resided in defaced and perverted. He said "Let's just go." The ambiance is cool and the food and drinks looked good-- but unfortunately we didn't get there. What the heck? Justice Snow's is a place I will NEVER recommend. Not only because it was a joke in terms of customer service, but because it broke my dad's heart-- rained on his parade, and popped his balloon of excitement and nostalgia.

It's about the cocktails here, not the food. Attitude abounds, but just play along and enjoy the cocktail menu...lots of choices and very comprehensive.

Had a wonderful family dinner here! Our party went from 8 down to 6 and they were very nice about it. The ambiance is very cool! A great place for a drink. The food was wonderful. Husband ordered the burger-omg! Huge burger with a fried egg on top! I ordered the roasted chicken with vegetables. The sign of a great chef is one that can cook chicken well-it could be the most boring thing on a menu. But this chicken dish was delicious and healthy. Service was fast and friendly. And bonus, when the kids are done eating they can run around outside while adults can finish their meal in peace.

Food, atmosphere and service all lived up to the Yelp reviews. John and I are here in Aspen with friends. Went to Justice Snows for lunch and could not have been happier. To start was an amazing soup and then we all moved on to our respective meals. Every one of us were very pleased with what we had. The owner was incredibly friendly and talkative. What we did not experience was the "mixologist" that they are so famous for...we'll be heading back tonight for that.

Excellent service, reasonable prices, extensive gluten-free menu, great food & drink. We were greeting upon walking up by John, who ended up being our server. He was awesome and explained what my gluten free options were, and provided the friendliest service we have had in a while. We ordered drinks, wings and hamburgers (mine with a gluten free bun!). The chef prompty came to our table to inform me that the wings were not gluten free - which I appreciate so I didn't end up sick on my vacation. The staff here is knowledgable, friendly and the menu is unbeatable. Make this your first stop in Aspen, every time.

I ate there with my husband on a Saturday night at 7. They got us right in, our food and drinks never took more than we thought was appropriate, and the atmosphere was to die for. Speak easy meets old west saloon! We started with truffle fries and size was perfect for a pregnant woman and her husband. I had steak and my husband had lamb, I can say I easily finished my meal in 15 minutes without pausing. We didn't talk the entire meal because we were too busy eating. Desert was also great! (Cheesecake and a keylime pie) The presentation of all the plates just made this meal a perfect date night out. It might be a bit on the expensive side, but I can say it was worth every penny!

Great service, great drinks, the bartenders are the best at what they do. I had some of the most unique/interesting cocktails here during my 3 day stay in Aspen. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the town.

Stopped in the other evening to treat a friend visiting from out of town. Stood at the door to be seated and was ignored for 5 mins so sat myself. Eventually was waited on and given menus. 10 mins later after being passed by the waitstaff numerous times, still had not been asked for a drink order or even acknowledged again. Service was awful. Understaffed on a busy night 4 sure. Stood up and walked out....

Came here for a late dinner. Wanted to find a place to great a drink and get a light dinner. I ended up getting the steak which was good. The waiter was very accommodating. Gave me some good recommendations on beers. Good ambiance, though a little crowd dependent.

Amazing drinks concocted by real mixologists... Delicious fried chicken sandwich, must try the tempura pickles! All the salads are delicious as well.

(1)Fred Z.
Eclectically unique! Cordials you can't anywhere else... And bar service with a tremendous flare and theatrical presentation. Must go in Aspen!
(5)Alisa M.
Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Had the kale salad and veggie burger. Both were great!
(4)Jennifer P.
(5)Jake W.
Love the place. Great happy hour 11-5. Try the fried pickles.
(3)Laura J.
Great food, service and prices. Had a steak for lunch - was deelish! We visited w the owner and she was very friendly. She told us of the history of the building - it being a former bank back in the day. I would eat here again!
(5)Ian W.
A must do in aspen. The chicken wings are off the chart!! The bartenders are true mixologist as well. A cocktail menu like I've never seen before.
(5)Juan S.
Very cool and laid-back bar located in downtown Aspen. Good crowd. Great live music and the bar specializes in its mixed drinks and craft brews.
(4)Jonathan L.
Wife and I came here for drinks and were blown away. Bartenders know what they're doing and put on a nice show. Excellent drinks! Sit at the bar for the show!
(5)Lauren B.
Enjoy!
(4)Elizabeth L.
I had one of the most memorably delicious dishes for lunch I have ever tasted. It was small croquettes made of vegetarian blends, crisp on the outside, with a marvelous sauce. I understand patrons beg for the receipt but the chef is too wily to give it out Only solution: go back!
(5)ROCKITSOBE L.
The drink menu is so long almost overwhelming, but the bartenders are super helpful in helping you find the right drink. We also had the oysters which were delicious! We didn't want to leave, but after 3 cocktails thought I should stop while ahead!
(5)Alvarez W.
Good food. Good drinks. Great happy hour (11am - 6pm w/ $3 shot and beer). The burger is very good. As a matter of fact almost everything I've eaten there has been consistent and good. Getting a drink can be slow especially when they are busy.
(4)Amy G.
I'm sold.
(5)Laura B.
(1)Ramiro F.
Great drinks. They don't just have bartenders the have some serious mixologist. The drinks are great and the staff is extremely friendly. It's a great atmosphere there's always a good amount of sexy lady's.
(5)J C.
Fantastic food, great service, fun atmosphere. A must stop if staying in Aspen. We had the flat iron steak and the daily chop...you can't go wrong. Our waiter was attentive and helped me choose a fantastic wine.
(5)T B.
(3)WInston F.
Love the drink list and menu! Sometimes it takes too long to get a drink, but as they say patience is a virtue. Food is pretty good and the staff is very knowledgeable about the spirits and beer. I will be back!!
(3)Deena T.
Great mixology and loved the Colorado angus burger w/ sweet potato waffle fries!! James is super cool!
(5)Maggie F.
(1)John L.
(3)Raphael C.
We discovered Justice Snow while visiting for annual party in January. This place is awesome. The menu is great ..the service is incredible! Thanks to Sean for being so friendly and the great service!
(5)Spencer K.
(5)Rebecca P.
Excellent drinks and great atmosphere. We didn't eat anything but the drinks we had were outstanding. Heading back to try another drink!
(5)Lindsay B.
(5)Christine B.
(5)Amanda J.
(5)Steph G.
(4)Tim K.
(4)Lynn S.
(5)John S.
(4)Chuck C.
(5)Shannon J.
(3)Joanell S.
(4)Eric C.
More of a 3.5. Was good but not too impressive. We had burrata and a salad. Both were good but the service wasn't great.
(3)Erica D.
I'm sad that I've been to Aspen so many times and have never stopped by this gem! The drinks were so delicious and flavorful, and the food... Oh my. The miso butter used in the flatiron steak was heaven. Will definitely be back very soon!
(5)Crazy P.
(5)Laura Z.
(4)Niniane W.
Excellent flatbread with an egg on top. Lemon ricotta pancakes are also tasty. Service is friendly and fast. I ate there two mornings in a row. We saw the fire chief.
(5)Bonnie C.
(4)Chandler S.
Food was great. We had the tempura pickles (incredible) and the sriacha deviled eggs (also delicious) to start. Then I had the all natural burger with fries both also really good. Atmosphere is awesome and the music was choice!
(4)Paul G.
(5)Daniel H.
Our bartender Quinn made the afternoon a lot of fun. For a delicious and different martini, ask for the picante!
(4)Keith F.
Very good food and nice atmosphere. A bit proud of their food but it is Aspen. The accommodated my wife's wheel chair fine.
(4)Tyler R.
(4)Tracy H.
(5)Shirley F.
Shirley
(5)Kristin K.
(5)Christian W.
(4)Mark M.
(2)Cielo G.
(5)Farooq K.
(4)Keegan D.
(5)Erik H.
JP behind the bar is a rock star!! Threw every obscure & delicately assembled drink at him, and he'll nail it. Most have his signature PDA.
(4)Angela M.

(5)Valery L.
(4)Kelly Q.
These guys know how to make cocktails. Was recommended to us as the best cocktail bar in town and they delivered. Haven't had the food yet but I hear good things about that too. Regardless, come here for cocktails, not just beer or wine...
(5)Lauren J.
The last two years I've posted up here during the food and wine classic. I love JP and his drinks. I love the vibe and the environment in here too. We plan on returning this year too.
(4)Jamie N.
Jon Taffer would be proud of these bartenders. These guys take pride in their work. It may take a few minutes to get a drink but it will be made to protection. No substitutions allowed. They will track down every ingredient to make the drink right.
(5)Sam A.
The vegetarian entree dish -- squash and chick peas and magic -- is a best-of-class dish: amazing flavors. The staff is friendly. The dining room lively.
(5)Agata L.
(5)Brittney H.
This review is purely on cocktails; I haven't had the food. But the Absent After Work and the PDA was amazing! Bartender was really nice and attentive, despite the frat party that was taking over the restaurant. Very nice feel to it and live music. Recommend when in Aspen, definitely!
(5)Carly C.
The food was all great, but the cheese plate was amazing! Am not a big tomato fan, but their tomato jam was absolutely incredible. Great atmosphere, loved it!
(5)Jessica H.
The food is excellent but the service is extremely slow.
(3)Leslie S.
We call this place, "Justice Blows." Need I say more?
(1)Cristina C.

(5)L C.
staff was wonderful (and super cute)! food was very good, nice small plate choices (devils on horseback...yummmm!), lovely atmosphere, wish the drink menu was as exciting as it was purported, but all in all still a great experience all around.

(5)Nelson C.
This review pertains only to the cocktails. We have been here a few times for cocktails and always loved it. We have had a couple from the menu, and a few others that the bartender made for us. Those off menu cocktails were definitely the best ones.
(5)Cailin M.

(5)Alex J.
Sat at the bar for dinner with my finance. Fantastic ambience, great food, amazing drinks, even better service. Went over New Years and it was great! Will be going back.
(5)Bridgett M.
(5)Adam H.
This place fits Aspen well. Great prohibition style atmosphere with a creative food and cocktail menu. We ate at some great restaurants on this trip and the duck dish at this one was the overall favorite. Only reason for the 4 is the service was good but not great.
(4)Janice B.
(5)Evan A.
(5)Roselin S.
Great place for authentic soda pops/root beer. I had a black berry ginger ale which was different-in a good way:). If you're in the mood for something light, they have a great variety of salads (I had the beet with goat cheese salad and it was a refreshing option). My husband's elk meatloaf was very moist and tasty. The peach creme brûlée was a nice ending to our Aspen outing.
(3)Jonathan Y.
(5)David W.
(2)Andrea K.
(4)Cristina W.
(4)Heather M.
(4)Alli H.
(1)Natalie B.
(4)Stephanie F.
(1)Ari A.
(4)John S.
This placed rocks! Party of 6 great service, cute waiter!:) Seabass out of this world! Friends said that the flat iron steake best the ever had. Definitelyand must do and redo!
(5)Lorena A.
(5)Alexis G.
(4)Alex K.
Had a great evening. The bar tenders were very knowledgable and the drinks were delicious.first time in Aspen and this bar made it a perfect experience.
(4)Dianne V.
(4)J D.
(3)Reshma S.
(4)Christian M.
The bartender Liz made us the most delicious valentines day shots! And great live improvised music was awesome!! :)
(5)Alli M.
Here's an honest YELP review - the atmosphere is awesome - the drink menu is far too large (but still delicious) - however - the bartender channelling Peta from the Hunger Games thinks way too highly of himself. Bottom line #hesgottago
(3)Susan Y.

(1)Mark W.
The truffle fries and tempura pickles were outstanding. A great experience for drinks made with extra care and a great Aspen atmosphere.
(4)Samantha Z.
Eclectic menu and huge cocktail list. Interesting atmosphere. Love that they still have some of the original items from the bank. A bit pricey, but what isn't in Aspen. Key lime pie and chickpea fries are great!
(4)Jason M.
(4)Jose P.
Positive attitude and positive energy. The menu offers a wide variety of options, yet does not overwhelm. The mediterrenean chick peas appetizer rocks.
(4)Emily J.
(5)Michelle L.
If you're looking for a fun cocktail place with a upscale trendy vibe, Justice Snow's is the place to be. Right in the heard of downtown Aspen, it's a great place to meet for a couple drinks.
(4)Mitchell H.
(1)J L.
40 minutes for a Guiness. These bartenders are full of themselves. I'm sure if ur a pretty girl, you'll get better attention, but it will still take a 15 minute show for your martini.
(1)Chad N.
(4)Jane S.
Disappointing. The food was very mediocre and overpriced. The service was friendly but the bar service was extremely slow. The atmosphere was OK.
(2)Becky B.
Loved this place! Wonderful drinks and attentive service!
(5)Clint P.
(4)Carolyn M.
Excellent cocktails and apps. I would highly recommend the tempura pickles and the chicken wings - both are beyond delicious. Cocktails are made with love, and look more like a work of art than a drink. Bartenders are fabulous, friendly and attentive. Go Snow's!
(5)Gregory S.
Hahahahahahaha hahahah YES drink up. Common in and try something new it's a great local and visitor spot.
(5)Chris H.
Outstanding jalapeno mac and cheese. Quite nice service. I heard (after the visit) that they had great mixed drinks, although I did not get to have one during my trip. I would go again...
(4)Allison S.
(4)Amy G.
We were disappointed with food. The bar is gorgeous, drinks spectacular, but the food was less than stellar. Salad very bitter, entree was the wrong cut of meat and super salty. Perhaps it was an off night, but would not recommend.
(3)Demitri J.
Great service and amazing food. Highly recommend the horseradish crusted salmon. Overall a wonderful dinner and experience
(5)Jody G.
(3)Alissa W.
(1)Dave L.
It's about the cocktails here, not the food. Attitude abounds, but just play along and enjoy the cocktail menu...lots of choices and very comprehensive.
(5)Ray H.
(4)Bill M.
(5)Allison J.
(5)James M.
Bad service with people that think they are better than you. Met the owner and not impressed. Did not feel welcome and will not go again. Mediocre food and bad service.
(1)Caitlin B.
(5)Babak A.
