The first thing that came out from my mouth after I bit into my first donut was "Oh My God, these are the best donuts I have ever had !" So the name of the place suits the quality of the donuts you receive. Damn, I don't think I even realized that donuts can be so tasty and flavorful.

First time there and OMG, these donuts are fantastic! Light and fluffy and they fill the bismarks with your choice of 5 different fillings. I recommend this donut shop to anyone who happens to be in the Olde Town Arvada area.

I don't claim to be a doughnut connoisseur but I can honestly say that even after trying Voodoo doughnuts in Denver, these are still my favorite doughnuts. The filled ones are wonderfully light and fluffy, and the owner fills them in front of you - your choice between custard, vanilla cream, raspberry, etc. The cake doughnuts are wonderfully moist and he makes these pine cones that are super fun to eat and delicious. If you're looking for hauteur this isn't the place. The owner is super nice and cheerful. The doughnuts are a treat AND reasonably priced. We've stopped in here a dozen times and always leave happy.
(5)Amy H.
It was a great little place. The owner was super friendly and the doughnuts were great! He let us sample some doughnut holes since it was our first time there prior to ordering. It is worth the stop if you are in Denver!!!
(5)Stephanie U.
The donuts are delicious and the service is outstanding! Don't pass this place up for a run of the mill chain, these donuts are not to be missed and you're supporting local business! I take them to my customers regularly and they LOVE them.

Best donuts in Arvada! Light, airy and fluffy :) the owner is super nice. I just like glaze donuts and theirs are the best. My 9 year old prefers cream inside her donuts and she said that theirs are the best. I love this place. If u like donuts, this is the place to go!
(5)Amanda R.
Recently came here looking for a local donut shop. The donuts were fresh, soft, and yummy. They even fill it with whatever filling you want, on the spot! The staff at the front desk was very accomodating and nice. Great customer service.

I've seen this place often since I live around block never tried it though... until this morning and honestly this man has the donut game down. I really liked the fact that I was able to choose what kind of feeling I wanted when I made my purchase usually you get stuck with having to deal with whatever left so I thought that was a very good idea the donut was really soft pretty fresh the only one thing I can say is the environment is not so friendly maybe some music playing or ATV to generate distractions while waiting in line other than that the actual food was great

It's a small storefront in a strip mall. We love a good donut, so proceeded. Inside there was no line, but a good selection. The owner seemed very nonchalant and when we were having troubles deciding he picked up that we had not been there before. Immediately we had samples in front of us and he sprung into action explaining his donuts. His pride in his work was clear. Then he got to the good part. Want a filled donuts? Pick your donut and pick your filling - he'll fill it for you RIGHT THERE!!! Best donuts I have found in denver. On my list for anytime I am close to that side of town. I try not to overdo the sugar, but if you are going to splurge, this is the place to do it!

These are some of the best donuts in town. Delicious, fluffy and fresh, even at 12pm! I really appreciate how light they are, not heavy like other donuts can be. The best part is he will customize your donut with a specific filling. He can also make specialty weekend donuts during the week if you call ahead (like maple bacon, yummy). It's not the easiest place to find if you don't know the area. It's located in a strip mall with a 7-11 and The Olde Town Tavern. I would not suggest drinking there after eating donuts, but hey, do your own thang. Enjoy!

Since moving to Denver I've been searching for a place that reminds me of Shipley's Donuts in my hometown, Houston, TX. These totally hit the spot. The glazed are so light and fluffy even in the late morning, the jelly or cream fillings are injected right before your eyes, and my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE are the RED VELVET CAKE DONUTS. My husband is not the biggest donut fan but last weekend he actually asked if we could go get some of the red velvet cakes ones. They're just that amazing. You can't compare this place to the big stores like Dunkin or Voodoo but it's a simple shop with a nice owner that even let us try the donut holes before we bought anything. I always prefer to support small businesses and can tell I'll be a long time customer of OMG Donuts.

Sorry OMG Donuts... the Donuts you make its NOT OMG at all.. *SIGH* Recent visit was on Sunday November 16th 2014. Time was about 10:30hrs. By that time, the Donuts that are on the shelves are somewhat pretty lacking aka too limited for our personal taste bud.. Hence we "feel" like we have "to settle"... * 12 donuts ($11.29) * Coffee ($1.99) Hence with tax, our total purchase was $14.34. From what we had, were a couple of Chocolate Glazed Donuts, Maple Glazed Donuts, Donuts with Chopped Peanuts and Donuts with Colorful Sprinkles. Hubs also get the Donuts with Raspberry filled which was an additional cost included in our purchased. OMG Donuts 7355 Ralston Road, Arvada, CO 80002 Tel : (303)-431-3686 @214/2014

As I write this review my keyboard is getting progressively sticky and sweet. I just can't seem to stop eating this half doz' I picked up earlier today. It's almost gone. Donuts are a special, special treat for me since they sit on the "do not eat" list enforced by my doctor to protect me from something called high cholesterol (but which I call the bane of my existence, "muy mal, no no bueno"). So it is with extra-careful care that I select a donut shop for my once a year indulgence. OMG Donuts lived up to the honor! It's not a place worthy of a Food Network visit for some out of this world donut concoction but it does put any other chain shop to shame. Even in the late morning the donuts were crispy where they were supposed to be crispy and the fact that they were lacking in inventory is a testament to how popular this place is. I am decidedly old-school when it comes to my donut choices. The old fashioned was crispy and sweet and not soggy at all. The cream-filled was soft and delicate and I enjoyed watching the owner use what could be described as a donut-torture device to inject the vanilla creme into the donut just before handing it to me. Delicious!

So, I would never ever have tried this place had it not been for the reviews on here. I am so GLAD I did - these are some fantastic doughnuts. YUMMY! It is in a shopping center/strip mall type place, which would ordinarily turn me away... those places scare me (unless they come highly recommended). They do not bake on premises, which is fine. The display is clean and customer service was wonderful. This place is very good. Go out and enjoy.
(4)Rachel W.
Great donuts! My family had been searching for a good donut shop near our house! Donuts had a great crispy texture on the outside, while being light and fluffy on the inside! We'd definitely go back here again!

I'm the payday Friday donut picker-upper aka low man on the totem pole. Every payday I get to pick up 2 dozen donuts for our manufacturing plant. Prior to moving to Arvada, I'd stop by King Soopers and pick up 2 dozen-- those would last until about noon or so. I've stopped by OMG Donuts and picked up 2 dozen (since it's on my way to work now) and those donuts are gone by 10am, I have co-workers that request donuts by name. So overall, yes, the consensus is that OMG Donuts is awesome. On to the donuts... Have a co-worker that loves old fashioned cake donuts and constantly complains that no one makes them like they used to. He said that these are the closest he's had in a long time. Glazed donuts are more my style... overall, I'm a fan. I think they're light and fluffy and don't have a hard build up on the outside. I'd give the glazed a 8/10 (my favorites are hot Krispy Kremes straight off the assembly line...maybe it's a childhood thing.) One other reviewer didn't like that the creme wasn't already in the donuts. I'm a fan, because you know that the creme hasn't been sitting inside of the donuts for 10 hours (how long it's been sitting in the machine... I don't know.) Again, co-workers really like the creme filled donuts. As for the look of the place. Yeah, the place could use updating and yes, the donuts are open air, but this doesn't bother me, as one of my favorite donut shops growing up was served in open air-- it's something I grew up with. I'm not someone that carries around hand sanitizer and I think a little dirt on your hands makes for a better meal. They're a small, local business that doesn't necessarily have the money to upgrade to the fancy-schmancy-ness of Krispy Kreme, Dunkin Donuts, etc. Overall, yes, I'd recommend this to a friend and yes, I will be back :)

Awesome donuts. Wide selection. Loved my old fashioned and my filled donut. I'll be back soon. Owner seems really nice!
(5)Sophia K.
OMG! from OMG Donuts. So delicious! I adore the Red Velvet especially! Donuts are moist, tasty, reasonably priced and the staff is great. This is my go-to donut place!
(5)Gita C.
First of all, let me just say that the donuts from this place are amazing. They are perfectly fluffy and chewy at the same time. Their different flavors are delish but I think most people judge the donut based on the simple glazed donut, which is fantastic. My work is right down the street from OMG and we stop in pretty often. Also, the owner is a super nice guy. He was closed today (black friday) but came in just to make the special order of donuts I placed for my work. Seriously?? Thats dedication.... and there's nothing like a fresh, warm, soft, chewy donut. Support this local business!
(5)Kelly T.
Come try one of these donuts...The absolute best, light, soft..perfect . I'm hooked myself. The gentleman who runs this store is very kind and hard working . Good atmosphere.what id like to see is powdered donuts ..dailey but yoy can still special order them and he will have them ready for you.
(5)Ryan E.
Omg they are good!! You haven't lived until you've tried a omg doughnut. Fresh and fluffly. One man shop too.
(5)Shaun S.
Peter greeted me with a huge smile and an apology. Apparently, he was upset that the selection was limited on Sunday afternoon. He gave me a free glazed donut and said that other people have told him that his glazed donut is better than Krispy Kreme glazed donuts. I have to agree. OMG donuts are so fresh, moist, and literally melt in your mouth. This place is good. I need to wake up and return during peak selection. So far, so good.
(4)Bob H.
Great donuts and good service
(5)Ant B.
Soft, delicious donuts where you choose which filling you want. It's like choosing your own adventure!
(5)Andrew B.
The donuts are not terribly good or noteworthy. The best thing this place has going for it, is that it's the only donut shop around.
(3)John B.
OMG Flies!! Stopped in on a beautiful sunny day. Outside door was propped open, that's cool...fresh air. BUT inside I find the donuts are displayed in open air cases. That isn't cool. Especially when there are flies buzzing around and on the donuts. DISGUSTING. I walked out. If the front of the place is that dirty the back is probably even dirtier. Get closed cases if you want your front door open.
(1)Andrew D.
The best donut shop in the area! Red velvet donuts are a must and crowd favorite ! Glazed donuts with cereal on top are my kids favorite. We got 2 dozen. Boston creams are amazing. The pine cone is sweet with a hint of cinnamon roll taste. Apple fritters are great as well. Peter was amazing! Great service with a smile! A must see , just east of old town Arvada on ralston.
(5)Joanna B.
Yum! Some of the best donuts I've had. Dropped in late morning and there was still a huge selection of fresh donuts.
(5)Jessica L.
Not sure why this place got such high ratings which is what initially brought me in. The donuts here are smaller than normal but bigger than Krispy Kreme donuts. I came at 10 am on a Sunday and there were still a variety of donuts. The owner was super nice and let me try a few donut holes as this was my first time here. I feel like holes and actual donuts are different tasting though. I ended up getting a bunch of glazed and a couple chocolate glazed and a cinnamon sugar cake donut which was the best out of all of them. I always judge a donut shop off the regular glazed. They taste okay here, nothing special, and not better than Safeway or king soopers which are like 50-60 cents there. People may call it fluffy but I just think it was too light and airy. A dozen cost me almost $12 which the way pricing works is weird here and I don't like it. To get a dozen glazed is 7.99 and a dozen chocolate is like 8.99 or something. But since i got kind almost all glazed with a few others they charged me for 12 individual donuts. So essentially I could've bought 12 glazed and added those different ones all for the same price and id have a few extra donuts. I mean it's cute that this is a small family owned business and all and I usually try to avoid chains but I'll prob just stick to something closer to my house like winchells or a little further for donut burst (which has huge and delicious donuts). Sorry but won't be returning but at least everyone else likes it.
(3)Matt P.
Delicious, some of the best donuts I have ever had. If you get filled donuts you choose the filling and watch as it is squeezed inside. The bear claws are shaped like a claw, the apple fritters are huge, and the owner is super nice. The only thing to note is that if you go after the breakfast rush (after 9:30am) there may less donut options available as they can sell out of some flavors.
(5)Pomponia S.
Good donuts and great customer service! I recommend the donut holes... my kids are always asking for them :) The place could use a face lift but I don't care about that as much as I do cleanliness and quality of the donuts. I've never seen the doors open or any bugs (one reviewer said they had?) My experiences here have always been positive.
(4)Chris B.
It is beyond me how OMG Donuts could possibly receive a five star review from anyone. Are you reviewing the donuts, or just how nice Peter is? If it's based on how nice Peter is, five stars all the way. Really nice guy, putting in the work, handing out those donuts with a smile. Way to go, that's what you're supposed to do in any business. You're supposed to be reviewing the product they're putting out too guys. My only explanation is these must have been the first donuts you've tasted? Do you have nothing to compare to? I guess then I could understand, or you're just extremely simple people and it doesn't take much to impress you? I had to run an errand up in Westminster and decided to see if there was any doughnut shops I could hit to treat my co-workers with on my drive down to Lakewood. Stopped in and upon entering the establishment I immediately felt like I was making a mistake. The interior is practically all a really depressing and drab dark yellow color. The donuts are displayed in open casing on top of the same disgusting yellow colored trays which causes the donuts to practically disappear and look so absolutely boring you're at a stand still on what you want to select because none of it looks that appealing. I decided to just go with a quick 1/2 dozen, got a sprinkled doughnut, a Bavarian cream filled (which having the doughnut filled on the spot is not impressive at all, seems totally pointless and ill-prepared), a plain glazed, a chocolate glazed, an apple fritter and what appeared to be a crazy doughnut ball made of small doughy toes thrown together. As my selections were being packed up I looked to the right of the counter and saw there was a fountain drink station and coffee. Next to the checkout counter there was a turn-style display case that was empty and looked damn old. To the left was three random pre-packaged cakes of some other brand that looked straight out of King Soopers. Directly in front of me, a few selection of Snickers, Butterfingers and other assorted candies. WTF? The whole atmosphere of the joint was ill fitting and half-assed. If you're not going to focus on offering totally original and outstanding doughnuts that stand out at least make the branding and feel of your establish something you can take pride in. It looks like they just moved in to the shell of whatever business was there before and "made it work" with a coat of yellow paint over everything. Hell, that might have been there before. The three tables that were there in the event you decided to enjoy your doughnuts there consisted of a rectangular and circle poker table you'd expect to see in a poorly conceived man cave and the last a fold-able metal camping table squeezed to the left of the counter. Everything is so mish-mash, even prank shows who setup fake businesses to fool people have more attention do detail than this operation. So bad. On to the doughnuts! Boss advised me the apple fritter was very dry, could barely be cut with a plastic knife and fork. He consumed two cups of coffee just to get through it and finish. The crazy toe doughnut thing I got for myself was difficult to pierce with a fork. No fluffiness or lightness that you would expect from a yeast pastry. Basically a different form of a cinnamon roll. Overall everything was just really basic and completely unoriginal, more of the same created at a mediocre level at best. The only original thing about it is the name and their logo. They don't extend that vision any further than that. Poorly executed and ill-conceived overall. Won't be back. Would recommend coming up with some new and original concepts to make your products stand out. Give your interior an over-haul and carry your branding throughout the store, buy three tables that match and have some assemblance of consistency and you might have a better chance at truly wowing your customers.

Wow did this place nail it with their name. Light, fluffy, orgasmic donutluciousness abounds here. I picked up 2 dozen yesterday morning in celebration of my son's 23rd bday. One mixed dozen which is half glazed half chocolate glazed. The other was several specialty delicacies. My favs: cinnamon twists, Bavarian cream and raspberry jelly. The fillings are creamy without being cloyingly sweet, while the donut itself is delicate and with tiniest bit of chew. I'm not big into donuts but OMG I'm sooooo waking up early for more of these in the near future. I'll hafta start making up special occasions just to get my fix. Wickedly addictive morsels of heaven that will suck you in and make you their do-bitch. And you'll love every second. Don't forget the pigs in a blanket. Spicy sausages wrapped in donut and slathered in glaze....shudder in pleasure. Enjoy lovelies but don't let it get out. Let's keep our deviance a secret shall we.
(5)George C.
OMG is so right!! Such amazing donuts! They FILL the jelly and cream donuts right in front of you!! I mean that is AMAZING! The man that works there is so nice! Go here! You will not regret it!!
(5)Evan K.
Very Good! I brought a dozen to work this morning (a variety of old fashioned, glazed, chocolate, & cake) and had 4 different coworkers tell me they were excellent- unsolicited. And not just because I brought in donuts. They were all asking where I got them, and making comments like "these are really good." One coworker even said they remind him of donuts from his favorite shop in Lafayette, IN. I'm not super picky about donuts, but it seems like these are exceptional.
(5)Mike S.
Stopped in this morning to pick up a couple of donuts. OMG these donuts are incredible. Tried a red velvet and a traditional glazed, both were very good. The owner Peter served me and was a very nice guy. Stop by, you won't regret it.
(5)Drew B.
The donuts were good, but not 4 star excellent. A few positives. The red velvet had a nice crunch on the outside and was very moist on the inside. Their best donut. OMG has 5 different donut fillings and fill one's long johns based on preference. Service was very friendly. There were no glaring negatives except the donuts weren't stellar. Head 10 blocks north and check out Carol Lee's for some 4 star excellent donuts.
(3)Matt C.
Very good donuts and nicer owner as well! He asked us if it was our first time there and gave us sample donut holes. He was very patient with us and explained the different types of donuts. Donuts were fresh and he filled the creme filled donuts as we ordered them.
(5)Garbonzo B.
With a name like OMG Donuts, I was expecting OMG. Let's be clear, all donuts are fine creations, but these weren't OMG. They were just fine. I was hoping for bacon fritters or other crazy donut-based awesomeness. OMG Donuts left me thinking more WTF Donuts. Still. MMMMMmm... donuts...
