Delicious food - interior of the restaurant in serious need of updating. Try the meat, rice & cheese burrito.

I like the chile verde wet burrito. I've tried a few things here and the food was pretty good. Prices are average. The one thing that kills it for me... Any time I call in my order, it seems like they don't start making the food until I get there. If they say it will be ready in 15 minutes, and you show up after 20, and then still have to wait another 20 minutes to get your food... Not cool bruh. I've had this happen multiple times, now I'm burnt. It seems like they don't trust people to come pick up their phone orders. I give an extra star because the food is decent and I hate to be harsh on a local small business.

I had the urge for a couple of tacos so I went to Rosie's. I was surprised that the taco shells are the type that you get at the grocery store or Del Taco, this was certainly a disappointment, but not a deal breaker. That is until I bit into it, the shell was stale! The contents of the taco were tasty with just the right amount of spice but I have to say that if that's all there is, I might just as well go to bakers and get three tacos. The other thing that will keep me away is the condition of the place. It's terribly rundown inside. The carpet is torn up all over and repairs have been attempted with a few different colors of duct tape to no success.

I love this place. When I lived in Yucaipa Rosie's was a regular place for us to visit. Chile Verde is one of my favorite dishes and Rosie's Chile Verde (or Chile relleno) burrito does not disappoint!

You know how some "Hole-In-The-Wall" taco shacks will have the best food in the world? Well this place serves some yummy dishes but their business ethics and customer service needs a severe overhaul. Apparently Uncle and Tia Rosie save money by hiring family kids to operate the front orders... one teen worker kept sneezing boogers into her tshirt neck collar, another teen girl sat at a table chatting away from her cell phone, and the girls ran about outside, yelling and screaming at their local friends passing by... One literally has to wave a flag at the counter to ask for anything like a cup of water or for a few sliced lemons.... All the while, the adult workers sweat in back preparing the meals. Am sorry to say, while the food is pleasant, I can't see myself looking forward to return here.

Been going to Rosie's for years, although the food is good, after yesterday's experience my family will not be returning. I have never once felt like a customer, more like an inconvenience. The employees are very off putting. Nobody greets you when you come in or asks if you're ready to order. Yesterday was the straw that broke the camel's back. I went in for dinner and as I walked up to the counter, the employee behind the register was busy texting and only took my order once she was done typing whatever message was more important than treating customers with basic respect. After I put in my order, I waited in a booth for my food. While I was waiting, the same employee began a phone conversation behind the counter and eventually threw out an F-bomb. Now that is definitely not the kind of language I want to hear when I go out to eat, especially not from restaurant staff. Therefore, I will not be returning.

Ok. The place is a dump. Clean but falling apart. Food ok. Ordered tacosalad. Got something .ore like nachos. A plate of chips with a very small amount of lettus a d other stuff. Young lady at the register rude. Just an overall not so good meal. We won be back.

Baby was craving an al pastor burrito so called here to place a to go order. But they don't do pastor so that sucked! Went ahead with a California burrito instead. Well, the carne asada wasn't flavorful and seriously there were like 5 pieces of fries lol I have no idea what is recommended but I hope it's not their Cali burrito But man! Those chips and salsa are freaking delicious. So that made up for the lack of flavor.

  • Jamie B.

My first time here and I really enjoyed it. Tortillas are homemade. Burritos are amazing. Friendly staff and fast service.

    (4)
  • R G.

Food is great but the service sucks. Call ahead by 20 mins and you still wait 20-25 mins. Call to-go order and you get home with all the wrong stuff. Sit and eat but your wait feels like they are picking beans, soak them, mash them and then they prep the chile verde while they refry the beans. Food is great but being a Mexican I might as well make all this stuff at home. Takes the same amount of time and at least I will get a thank you or a smile from my family.

    (1)
  • Carlos V.

The Chile Relleno burritos are bomb!!!!! Gotta take home a dozen tortillas every time we come too ;)

    (5)
  • Mike S.

Three stars only because the food Man behind the counter taking the orders is a rude Act like he's doing you the favor .... Doesn't say thank you !!!!! Calls your number and pushes your tray forward and doesn't say anything else ? He probably wonders why he doesn't have more business !! I'll think twice before I go back just because of him !!!!!!

    (3)
  • Jon M.

This place is amazing. I'm almost positive they have someone's little ole grandma chained up in the back making tortillas. They're to die for. I bite into their Rosie's burrito, which has a chili relleno, and I hear angels singing. Only reason I knock a star off is for facilities. Place is in need of new seating.

  • Christin M.

Love getting food from Rosie's! Great food, reasonable prices and the chips and salsa are awesome!

    (5)
  • Jamie L.

Favorite place for tacos! Also love the chips & salsa. Chile Rellano burrito is the bomb!!! Great lunch spot

  • T M.

This place has great food.. But wait times and service is a joke .. 25 minutes for some chips and salsa to go ..

    (1)
  • Tiffany M.

I was starving and ordered a Rosie's burrito. Was good but no spice to the chile relleno. No porblem it happens. Nothing salsa can't fix. But the hot sauce they had was more like a tabascco sauce with no heat. A big disappointment. But perhaps it was due to catering to the area. Still ate it all. Kid's nachos supreme were not bad but found it odd they used nacho cheese sauce. Definately not authentic.

  • Debbie B.

Love, love their food. Great homemade, delicious, moist tortillas You have to try their chips and salsa!

    (5)
  • Travis H.

I love the food here, but, don't expect to be impressed by the building... Old tables, cracked chairs, And posters that belonged in a boys bedroom in 1991 (dunk it Michael Jordan!!!). Having said that... I don't go there for the ambiance. I go there for great AUTHENTIC Mexican food.

    (4)
  • Susan J.

The food is hit or miss that is if you get what you ordered. The employees are just plain rude.

    (1)
  • Chad G.

I come here whenever I'm in the area and today was really disappointed. I come for the chicken tamales and today...they had no more! My suggestion...call in your order for a dozen...it's worth it!

    (5)
  • Jorge D.

Very disappointed with the Carne asada torta. Cardboard with a smear of beans took 2 bites and grabbed a top Ramen, sad times. My top Ramen was great though.

    (1)
  • Chris B.

Decent Mexican joint. Nothing to special. They do have a good Chile Verde Wet Burrito. Not worth going out of your way for though.

    (3)
  • Melanie P.

I hate to post because more people will go but this place is the bomb for mexican food around his area. Large portions, meat was tender, beans excellent.

    (5)
  • Spring C.

Really great food, good prices, the decor is a little run down, but that's not why I'm choosing a place for lunch! I've never tried breakfast here but lunch is awesome and the tacos, salsa (you have to order it) and hot sauce is just perfect.

    (5)
  • Ami Nd David H.

The bean, rice, and cheese burrito was average good. It's nothing special. The reason I'm giving 2 stars is because my husband ordered a carne asada burrito and the meat was not good at all. He threw it away and didn't even eat half. He's not very picky either. I most likely won't come here again. I prefer cucas BRC burrito.

    (2)
  • Samantha S.

The food isn't bad, unfortunately I can never eat here without them screwing up my order at least once. Why do I come back? Because it's my husband's favorite Mexican place so I'm stuck eating here every now and then to male him happy. I'd much rather go to Cuca's for quick Mexican food, they can at least keep the sour cream off the burrito when asked. Today I ordered a carne asada burrito and instead they gave me carne asada French fries soaked in runny guacamole... burrito vs French fries, yup I totally see how they sound the same.

    (3)
  • Melissa C.

This place have great burritos and the tortillas are made from scratched. The food is fresh and it never disappoints. This is one of my favorite mexican restaurant too go too. I think the Tahitian are the only think that it can be better.

    (4)
  • Trina J.

Awesome food great service. Best breakfast. Order a salsa to take home with you, its better than stuff you get at the store.

    (5)
  • Ciara K.

It's a fast food Mexican place with food that you could put on a plate and would still be more authentic than Jose's, El Torrito and other restaurants so ppl complaining confuse me what did u expect? Anyways great food I've tried several things and all were good but the Chile verde wet burrito beans cheese and rice awesome!!!

    (5)
  • Sergio S.

Not only is there food not good, (it use to be.).but the guy up front is always serious and not professional for running a business. I understand its family owned and most likely operated but this does not mean you have to act like a jerk. The food is not good and overpriced. The place looks like a dump and outdated. My advice is to invest into your business and put some smiles on your faces. Otherwise the other Mexican food joints in town will take all your business.

Was very disappointed in Rosie's. Upon receiving a recommendation from someone who lives in the area, we stopped for dinner while returning from a road trip. We ordered a chile verde burrito, potato tacos, chile Colorado plate and chile verde fries. First the very bad; the potato tacos. They had no flavor whatsoever, even doused in the hot sauce provided, which was also flavorless. The not so good; the chile verde fries and chile colorado. The chile verde was extremely watery, which completely soaked the fries making them mushy. This was topped off with canned nacho sauce. The entire dish was mushy and unappetizing. The chile Colorado was okay, but I have never ordered a chili Colorado plate where you didn't get tortillas. upon asking, we were told we would have to pay extra for tortillas. The only good item we ordered was the chili Verde burrito, and while good, it was not worth coming back for.

    (2)
  • Barbara H.

not authentic Mexican food, not taco bell or del taco. I don't know what I expected. I ordered taco's and I didn't think they were something I would buy again, nothing special. not interested in going back.

  • George W.

Worst customer service around. They close before their listed time, even when other customers are inside eating. Once was left on hold for 20 minutes and had to walk inside the restaurant to remind them that I was on the phone. They also screw up orders. Food is average at best. There's plenty of better Mexican places to go, any of which will treat you better than these guys.

    (1)
  • Jeff C.

It's alright. Don't believe the hype. Definitely better places in Yucaipa. The carne asada is average, the salsa is ok and they charge you chips. I probably won't go back unless others insist on it.

    (3)
  • M I.

Guy behind counter is rude and not welcoming. We were there at 7:30 to eat dinner. They close at 8. As soon as we sat down a female employee started putting chairs up on tables and vacuuming around our table and kicking up dust. To bad they don't know how to run a restaurant because the food is really good.

    (2)
  • Anna W.

I recently got their egg breakfast burrito and unfortunately found several egg shells in it. The only thing that is usually consistently good is their meat, bean, rice, and cheese burrito. Though the last few times the pork meat was mostly fat. I hope that they pay attention to their quality control more. They used to be spot on all the time! So I gave the 3 stars because of my past experiences...

We had Rosie's cater our wedding, but had a friend pick up the order instead of Rosie's delivering but they do cater as well. The food was amazing! Very traditional food. Their chili colorado is so amazing and the beans and rice are like home! They give you plenty of portions to have over for the amount of people you are feeding. I cannot say enough about their salsa!!! Sooo scrumptious you can't stop eating it. WE had a wedding with 135 guests and every guest was complimenting how the food tasted. Whenever, I pass through Yucaipa I always have to stop in to Rosie's to pick up some salsa/chips. They get pretty packed and are always rushing to ensure your food is out quick and hot!!! I would recommend Rosie's to anyone so if your driving through Calimesa, Redlands area stop in Yucaipa they are just a few miles off the 10 freeway on Yucaipa Blvd. Well worth it!!!! Anyone who knows mexican food will be coming back to this place.

GOOD AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD! Family owned, super nice people. Everything I have had there is great! It is all made fresh do call it in before you go to cut your wait time down. Portions are big!

  • LeeCee B.

    Best wet chicken burrito ever!

  • Ross J.

Can't be beat! The fresh Totillas get you everytime! Fast service, and friendly also. Not sure about these negative comments, I think the people are on drugs or something.

I'm sorry but I tried this place twice and was disappointed. Me I'm Mexican so when I go to a Mexican food place I expect my food to taste a certain way. Their food had no flavor what so ever. They didn't even give hot sauce to even try to add flavor. I got the carne asada burrito and it was plain. I live in Yucaipa and I will much rather drive to tacos and beer in beaumont. Their food is better.

Today was my second trip to Rosie's. I am big fan of Mexican food and I like this style. Today I just had a shredded beef taco, but it was fresh and didn't fall apart even though I got it to go. It was a little greasy, but what do you expect from Mexican take out? It's the stick to your ribs kind of food. My boyfriend got an all meat carne asada burrito (it must have weighed a pound!) which tasted good, but I could not have eaten the whole thing. It is literally a pound of seasoned meat in a tortilla. Even better with their hot sauce on it. I snagged a few bites, very flavorful. Guaranteed to fill anyone up. Dang. Their portions are very large, especially their burritos. He also ate a meat (chile verde) and rice burrito. It was also tasty. It's awesome to have someone who lets you taste all of their food too. Their horchata is house made and tastes like vanilla milk, not quite the cinnamon deliciouness I am used to. It was a little bit of a let down to get what tasted like watered down melted vanilla ice cream.....but it wasn't the worst thing ever. I drank it. They would do better to get the name brand one. They do have orange whip here though! Haven't had it yet, but planning on it. One thing I learned about this place is that they serve breakfast burritos until 1 pm. I am a late night/late waker, so at noon I'm ready for breakfast.....when everyone has stopped serving it at 10:30 or 11 a.m. I really like their breakfast burritos but wish that they used a little bit more hefty of a potato than hashbrowns. I understand how it streamlines the kitchen more and they are still super tasty. Looking forward to many hangover cures and late breakfast burritos here. It's a good alternative close to home from my regular Burgertown USA stop in Redlands. Service is usually in numerical order and pretty quick. Their hot sauce and forks/napkins and stuff are self serve making it really nice to be able to take just what you need. I'm not deducting anything for this, but their decor is really crappy. Stencilled wisteria and parrots. I'm pretty sure the butterflies on the wall inspired the first lower back tattoos on young women. Get your food to go....it's a little stuffy in there.

Good food. Reasonable prices and large portions. Dumpy building - needs a remodel.

I was excited to try this place after the positive reviews here on yelp and from my husband who said he used to come all the time when he lived in Yucaipa years ago. I ordered the combination plate with taquitos. He ordered a burrito and we shared a side of "guacamole." I'll start there since it's the first thing I tried. I've been making guacamole forever. Avocados, tomatoes, onion, cilantro, lime, salt. That's guacamole. We received a fluorescent green smooth I don't know what. The consistency was like sour cream though. No tomato, no onion, no cilantro :( and it was almost $5 alone. Chips had no salt. Our food is ready and I'm pretty sure those are frozen taquitos. As in Jose Ole you can get at Stater Bros. Double :( beans were ok, rice had no seasoning at all. Hubby said this is not the food he remembered and his burrito was full of sour cream and the fake guacamole as a filler with little meat. Proof was my eat-anything-you-put-in-front-of-her 2 year old. I have her a spoon of rice with guacamole on top. She spit it out.

    The best enchiladas around!

  • Adam D.

Oh my, is this place good. I no longer live in Yucaipa, and I just want to uproot this place and move it down here. If you are in the Yucaipa area and looking for Mexican food, this is where you want to go. All of the food I have tried is pretty good. The breakfast burritos are awesome. However, the Rosie's Garbage burrito is one of the best things I have ever eaten. It is a chile relleno stuffed inside a delicious burrito. Once you try it, you won't want to order anything else. It's burrito perfection! Get it "wet" style with sauce and cheese. It's also cheap!

    (5)
  • Matthew B.

Don't see what the fuss is about. Tried this place when I first moved to Yucaipa 5 years ago. Didn't think much of it then at all. Tried it again two days ago and found it to be worse than I remembered. Yucaipa is full of Mexican restraunts, there are tons of better choices than this run down hole in the wall. Try Cuca's or Los Fuentes instead...

  • Jesica B.

I'm going to have to say this place is the best hangover food! I always find myself here after a night of drinking when I can finally muster up enough courage to eat something. I usually go with the good ole bean and cheese because the tortillas are so good. The salsa is pretty good too. It's a little too spicy sometimes, but the burrito usually calms the spice enough to enjoy. My husband loves the chile verde. I personally don't like the big chunks of meat that slip out of my burrito, but I'll admit the meat is very tender. I do enjoy the chile relleno burrito with a little bit of the chile verde meat, beans and cheese every once in awhile. The nachos are also pretty good, even if you just get the nacho cheese and jalapeños on top. The breakfast burritos here are huge and I recommend getting hash browns, eggs and beans inside. Remember this is a family owned business, so they close early on Sunday and are usually closed on holidays, even the most random ones, where you'd think restaurants would be open for a lot of business.

    (4)
  • Christine M.

The burrito I had here was huge! And there was no wait to get my food, so quiet and the staff is nice. I ordered tortilla chips and salsa, it was the bomb. It seems like the portions are very large too. I had to get a container and take it home to finish eating! The day I ate here it was over 100 degrees outside but cool inside the restaurant. And the prices are very low. I can't wait to go back and try another item on the menu.

    (5)
  • Jared T.

My friend found a chunk of metal in his burrito! Haven't been there since!

    (1)
  • Eric A.

DO NOT GET THE NACHOS! The burritos are decent but the hot sauce is slightly half ass. But what really set me off into writing this review is how piss poor their nachos are. So I usually get a BRC burrito, which is a solid buy. I think to myself that nachos might be pretty decent too. I order these things and they are complete and udder crap. I'm not even overreacting. The chips are store bought, they use nacho cheese sauce similar to nachos at a baseball game, and by the time I get it home the entire thing had turned into one big soggy mess. If you're looking for solid mexican food, skip Rosie's (They stole their recipe from Rosa Maria's anyway) Spend an extra couple bucks on gas, and hit up El Burrito in Redlands. You won't regret it.

    (2)
  • Summer P.

OK, so first let's get the not-so-good out of the way. Rosie's is not exactly "authentic" Mexican food like their sign says. I'm not sure you can call your joint "authentic" when almost all of your clientele is Caucasian. Also, I was surprised that the menu was not as lengthy as I would have expected. That being said, this place has really good food, somewhere in between authentic Mexican and Gringo food. It reminds me of the Mexican restaurant my family used to frequent when I was a kid, La Chiquita in Santa Ana. Old-fashioned tasty, hole-in-the-wall. Good flavors, a little bit of heat and cheap prices. We will definitely be going here frequently.

    (4)
  • Christopher M.

The best Chile Verde burrito I've ever had. Ask them to add beans, cheese and sour cream. The hand made tortilla is what puts it over the top.

    (5)
  • Chris S.

Overall this is the best place in Yucaipa to get a burrito for breakfast, lunch or dinner hands down! If your'e a big eater don't be shy and get the XL. All flour tortillas are homemade and never disappoint. Combos are VERY reasonably priced... Ex:. Bean & cheese burrito with a shredded beef taco (hardshell) and beans and rice for $6-$7. That's a heck of a deal for all of that food! The only place I will get french fries from a Mexican Food place as well. Taste like they cook the fries in the same fryer as the carnitas. SO GOOD!!! I will agree with another reviewer though. DO NOT GET THE NACHOS. I don't know why or how they would even call them nachos legally? Chips smothered in melted canned cheese??? C'mon now Rosies. I just can't wrap my mind around how AMAZING every bit of food I've ever had from here is but they have Taco Bell style nachos...

    (4)
  • Patricia H.

We eat here too often! The meat, bean, and cheese burrito, chile rellano burrito, and shredded beef tacos are superb! Love this place, all of our relatives love coming to town for this place! Don't get the taquitos tho, over priced and bland.

    (5)
  • Amber L.

They used to be great... used to be.. I will not eat there again! I got tacitos they tasted microwaved first of all, then the 'guacamole' was this nasty tasting green paste no sour cream no cheese. This is not the first time I've been unsatisfied but it is the last!

Just moved to Yucaipa and heard that the food was good here so we ordered some food to-go. Well when the order was picked up, the wrong order was given to us, they didn't check a number or ticket to make sure the order was correct. The food arrived home and was found to be incorrect so we tried to call to them about the mistake and no one answered. The food was taken back to the restaurant and instead of being accommodating and giving us fresh food we got the old stuff that had been sitting out and probably opened by someone else, got told that the other costumer had to eat their food there since we "took" the wrong order and apparently they don't answer the phone 15 minutes before close. If you ask me customer service is lacking and needs improvement. I don't care if your closing in 5 minutes if i walk in or call and want an order you should not turn away costumers. The food was mediocre possibly because it was cold by the time i got it as it had sat out for longer than a drive home. We asked them for salsa and the girl said yes they have salsa but did not give us any. Its disappointing cause they look busy and like the food is great but costumer service is very important, otherwise you lose out on business.

Best burritos in the area! Everything is fresh and flavorful. Great chips & salsa. Breakfast burritos are killer! The ambiance is severely lacking but the food is worth it and consistently better at this location than the sister store in Calimesa. My week isn't complete without a visit!

Mehhh.... I don't see what the hype is all about this restaurant. It's mediocre mexican food, that's all.

The service here sucks..I went at around 7pm on a Monday there were two girls working one named brenda..they were goofing around the whole time play fighting and resting thier heads on the counter.they call the next few others and forget drinks on the orders or sum of the extras people are requesting..however those people were dining in so they just kept coming back up to the counter..Okay fine ur closing and its slow..then we get our order and leave..we get all the way home and they forgot a burrito! We only order 4items..I call and speak w Brenda who starts to argue w me on the phone saying it's in the bag..why would I call if it's in the bag! Then after I ask to speak w her manager she stated I could come back and get the burrito or get credit for next time..after service like that why would I come back a next time!.I go all the way back down and they give me the burrito and then start laughing and talking crap..if they would of checked the order in the first place it would of never happened..bad service!ive gone to the place since I've lived here and have never been treated this rude before! I went be going back here and I don't recommend it

I never appreciated how good Rosie's was until I moved to Moreno Valley. Talk about piss poor Mexican food. I drive from Mo Val to go to Rosie's for their Garbage or Verde rice and cheese burritos. The home made tortillas are super yummy. I wish I didn't live so far away.

    (5)
  • Eric C.

Burritos and quesadillas are amazing. Meat and cheese is my favorite. Unfortunately, most if the other stuff in the menu is greasy and nasty.

    (4)
  • Tracy J.

Rosies has never dissapointed. This is not a fancy place. The decor is worn but it is clean and the staff are polite. The Garbage burrito consistently contains the perfect ratio of meat, beans, rice, cheese, lettuce, tomato and onions. The onions are diced a perfect size so you get a nice flavor throughout the burrito. Hot sauce cups come with your food. I recommend purchasing their salsa too! The Chilie Relleno is light with just the right amount of cheese. For a special treat order some tortillas to go.

    (5)
  • Bryce A.

Absolutely not better then CuCa's! -- Are you kidding me?! I want to like this place, I really do. -- But it should be called "Rosies Roadkill" for it's meats are routinely greasy & grisly. Nice place, friendly staff, -- but OMG, if mystery-meat burritos are your thing -- enjoy. I'll be at CuCa's thank you! ;)

First Mexican place eaten at in Yucaipa. Prices are decent, burritos are pretty good. We'll get one their big ones and split it.

    (5)
  • Amber V.

The food isn't too bad, I have had the brc burrito with chips and salsa, the burrito was okay but the chips and salsa were very good. They use lard in their cooking so beware of that, since I learned that i haven't been back, personal choice.

    (3)
  • Michael B.

Great burritos made with hand made tortillas all at a good price.

    (5)
  • G C.

When I come here, I usually order the carne asada burrito or the shredded beef taco combination plate. Both are very good and fairly consistent in taste and quality. I have also tried their taquitos, which was okay. I also love that they make their tortillas fresh in-house. You can really taste the difference.

    (4)
  • Elaine T.

I work in Yucaipa and all I would hear is how great this place is... ahhhh NOT SO MUCH. I've tried it twice now, thinking the first time bad food experience was just a fluke. But no, sure enough, the carne asada burrito was just as bad the second time. Lots of fat on the meat and you need to put so much of there bad salsa to give it some sort of flavor. Food is gross. I'll never waste my money there unless i need a good laxative. Sorry.

There really isn't any reason to review this mecca of the oh holy pinto. Multiple times we have been here with 8 or more people and they always get the order right. The food is always fresh and tastes exactly how you dreamed it would when you take your first bite. I would like to thank my sister for moving to Yucaipa so I have reason to venture up the hill to visit Rosie's. Mmmm pinto.

Great food! Easy in & out. Closer than Rosa Maria's in San Bernardino or Redlands & tastes exactly the same!!! (hmmm I wonder why???) Home made tortillas & beans made with something that makes them so addicting!!! One plus over Rosa's is they offer different types of meat in their burritos. Try it you will not be disappointed in a MBRC (Meat Bean Rice Cheese) or a Chile Relleno burrtito! !!! Seriously!!!

The Yucaipan rocks but if you are looking for something a bit less busy tasting you can't go wrong with the MBRC.

ok. this is a four and a half str reveiw but i can't get it to accpet the half star after four. first if you have a problem with the food they fix it with out argueing. very very good top notch customer service. i can't give it five stars because i got an undercooked breakfast burrito and they have several times misunderstood my order. i ordered chili verde they packed chilli relleno. i ordered chicken tameles and got fried chicken... BUT what they got wrong was still really delicious. but still wrong. ok. it is most likely a me problem... strong southern accent talking to people whose english is not their first language. most born americans can't get my southern accent..... you will porbably never have the problem i had. they have the best chili verde burritos i have had in twenty years. they have excellent beef tacos and tostados. the people are great. with few exceptions we have truly loved our food and the rest of the time it was torlerable. great hot sauce. great employees. clean returaunt. good service and good value. i really love the fact you can get excellent chicken tameles in the summer. good value for good reliable food they stand behind. i never have to talk people into going here. i crave their food weekly... so they are darn good. in calimesa we have a slight problem with resturaunts that stand behind their food. rosies is great and if you have a prob... they fix it. love them.

If you want giant burritos and snappy salsa, this is the place for you. Excellent food, reasonable prices, great service. Tiny parking lot, but that's a small price to pay for the food you get.

Very, very good burritos. I'm a big fan of the MBRC with shredded beef. Tortillas are hand-made and tasty, beans don't taste processed and bland, and the meat has great flavor. Portions are good, prices are good. No drive-thru but parking's easy enough. A great place to stop and get something to eat before night classes at Crafton Hills.

If you like Cuca's This is better! that is what my wife tells me i haven't been there yet. She recommends the Garbage burrito. She Grew up in the area so check it out. It doesn't have a drive threw but you can get your food to go or call in your order before you arrive.

Horrible customer service. Inconsistent food. Mediocre when they actually do get your order correct. I don't know how places like this manage to stay afloat. Most of the games are broken, the building smells like wet socks. I tried going to this place for almost 2 years before finally giving up entirely on them.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
