Ok.. Best service in town. I went in on Wednesday and my server was Rebecca. She was excellent. We've been there before on weekends when Rebecca has served us and it has been very busy. She was an excellent multi-tasked and very friendly. I actually own a large chain of restaurants and intend to ask her if she has any motivation to join my workforce. The food is good also, but as a restaurant owner, I believe that service is what brings people back and she provides it. On a side note, does anyone else know if the man sitting in the booth, on his phone, has any connection to the restaurant? If so, rather bizarre management of business.

Just to start, the avocado tower was my fav of all the food I've tried so far. When you walk in the staff is just really friendly. Service was very fast! My husband and I just enjoyed our meal and my daughter loved the (food art) vegetables the chef made. Lol that was probably her fav there. We have made 3 visits so far and will keep going.

This place is amazing! Everything I have tried is great. The staff is very friendly! Service is fast. Will be back week after week if I can afford to.

  • Misa A.

The sushi is pretty good and the service is very friendly, however, the food is definitely overpriced, especially since the quality of the food you're getting is not the best quality. Not worth it.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Sushi Camp. This is our go-to Sushi Bar. The service is always welcoming and courteous and quick. The fish is always fresh. I highly recommend Sushi Camp. We are frequent customers -- 2 - 3 times a month.

Great fresh food. One star off for Edamame. I can do better myself. Those were just unfrozen. The other stuff was pretty good. Salmon is fresh, mocha delicious.

  • Kevin M.

Food is awesome! Love their rolls. Staff is friendly and attentive. Like that they have a patio. I only gave a 4 because I didn't feel the decor is unique and makes me say wow which is not often, so I save my 5's for those :)

  • Gary C.

Best sushi in Temecula by far. Their staff is very friendly and always making creative decorations for your sushi boats and platters. We highly recommend the Shrimp Crunch Roll and Snow Roll. Their 3 different lobster rolls rock too. Thanks Sushi Camp for being a great local happy hour option!

Seriously the best sushi I have ever eaten. I eat sushi everywhere and this place is my all time favorite. I've been frequenting the place since the day it opened and it has been consistently good. My favorites are the Lemon Drop which is similar to a tuna roll with a thin slice of lemon on each piece. It's killer. I also love the Volcano and the Caterpillar . Really, everything here is good, no matter what you choose. I'm a regular here. Great service and excellent sushi.

Food tasted great, staff was friendly. Atmosphere is slacking compared to all other sushi restaurants in temecula Thanks for the diarrhea though !

My FAVORITE sushi place EVER! I am very picky and VERY much a food/sushi snob! This place (Genkai and Nana San ) are my tied for #1 sushi spots. I don't know what is up with people saying they have gotten bad service from here. everytime i have gone (for YEARS) its been attentive without being overbearing. I have dropped $400 for ONE meal (3 star michelin restaurant) so trust me, I know good service and good food. Favorite roll of ALL time: Ichiban (real snow crab inside with halibut outside) $15? pricer than most items on the menu but worth it and they give lots of extra halibut on the side I really wish they had an all you can eat option :)

  • Swank K.

Best Sushi anywhere... Love this place! Try the Pomegranate Wine! Great selection of rolls, always fresh. Been going there for years, referred by regulars.

  • Carole S.

The Miso was great and super hot as it should be. Had a bento box with Tempura. The scoop of rice was stiff and dry as if it had been reheated, not good. The salad was good, the tempura plentiful and quite good, but the side of California Rolls were a disappointment as they were loose and mushy. Liked the staff but not going back.

At long last, Sushi Camp has added an "all you can eat" option to their menu that includes most of my favorites from the sushi bar AND the kitchen, but at $29, it's a tad steep. I find myself overeating sometimes just to get my monies worth. I've seen some disgruntled people dissing Donny, the sushi chef. Donny is a GREAT guy. He just doesn't fawn over you and engage in B.S. to try and make you order more. He's one of the reasons I keep going back as often as I do. He's professional and friendly and I've seen him laugh and smile a lot. Much preferred to some other local sushi bars where their accents are so thick I can't understand a freaking word they're saying.

The restaurant is very small and has boring decor, but my goodness the sushi is GOOD. If you are simply looking for a delicious sushi fix and don't care about the price or ambiance of the dining area, hit this place up. The sushi is more expensive than other places in Temecula.

I was down from LA and not expecting much, but I was really surprised with Sushi Camp. First, they serve edamame when you sit down. A great start. The service was friendly, but what knocked my socks off was the quality of the fish. The sushi combo had a variety of great nigiri, and the rolls were generously sized and melt-in-your-mouth flavorful. We had to ask for wasabi and ginger, but other than that, it was great!

  • Anyes P.

Sushi Camp's food is delicious and very well presented. Whether with my family, a girlfriend or by myself this is my favorite place to have lunch! Very friendly staff, very clean and very very good food. They make an excellent steak teriaki. Maybe not good for people who are used to Mc Donald's food or who love to have an access to an all-you-can-eat-buffet and eat a 6 lbs burger... But definitely excellent for people who love healthy and yummy food!

Love the rolls & sashimi! Sushi camp rocks TEMECULA Our family is never dissatisfied.

  • Ellen S.

We enjoyed the vegetable and the combo (with shrimp) Tempura. It was our 2nd time there and we will go back when we are in Temecula again.

  • Veronica A.

I usually order the Teriyaki Chicken Bowls to go and they are delicious! I took my family there for dinner and the sushi was not only delicious but beautifully presented!!

  • Jake S.

I come here whenever I'm in town visiting friends. The sushi is great and the service is always good. My favorite is the crazy lobster roll. It's amazing!

  • Chris C.

I honestly don't know why this place does not have a higher rating. We moved to temecula from irvine in December and set about finding a good sushi place. We tried three other places in the area, and none of them are as good as Sushi Camp. We come here 3-4 times a month now! We love this place!

  • Stephen M.

The absolute best QUALITY in all of RIVERSIDE COUNTY. No vacuum sealed yellow fin here. The standard is Big Eye and all other comes in Fresh. Not for those looking for a Bargain but will satisfy even the most picky of connoisseurs. Its amazing that they can put out such great quality for only $30.00 on the all you can eat. Slightly higher than others but the others quality is not even in the ball park! ONCE again. Hands down the best quality in the area, including the OC. If you know your sushi this place is for you, If your looking for a cutesie little umbrella to mask the lack of quality, probably not your place. . Big Steve

Sushi Camp is outstanding. We have been enjoying this fantastic place for 10 years now. The food is simply the best and the people there are exceptionally nice. I continue to recommend to my friends who also now love it.

We LOVE sushi camp!!! It's our favorite restaurant!! We go there at least once a week. I'm craving it right now :) Friendly staff and delicious food. Our friend comes out from La Costa and we always eat dinner at Sushi Camp, it's his favorite too!

  • J M.

I love this place! The service is hit and miss at this place. But the sushi is good. My favorites are the lobster roll and Toronto roll. The Sushi Chefs are knowledgable and will pretty much make whatever you want. They are very creative as well.

  • Sandra S.

This is by far my favorite Sushi restraunt! Service is great! Donnie ( sushi chef) already knows what I usually order. He always prepares my dishes just perfect! Staff is always attentive, It's clean & food taste fresh. I highly recommend SUSHI CAMP!

  • E S.

Super long wait. And we are the only ones here. Even soup takes long. And the soup isn't flavorful. One plate of sashimi is $13. And it wasn't even sliced properly. Only 30 mins into our meal and I'm super dissatisfied. I wanted to give this place a chance but the efficiency has got to speed up especially during lunch. I should've known what I was getting when we came for lunch and no one was here. Just got lunch. And nothing tastes fresh. So disappointed. I'll never come back. Sorry. I think gas station Japanese food tastes better.

  • Carla E.

I've been here about 5x, customer service is very good, sushi chefs are good, and the food is good. I usually order the lemon drop roll which has a slice of lemon on top. It's a specialty roll and comes in a boat, and also includes some salmon and tuna slices on the side. Can't go wrong with the crunch roll. I ordered the seaweed salad which is decent, and a good sized portion. The volcano roll comes out flaming, there is baked salmon on top. Great place, it's my local spot for sushi!

  • Naheed B.

Friendly, fast servers and chefs. Love coming here. Fun, low-key place to watch the football game. Just two TVs but the bar seats 12. Nice ambience, fairly casual and in a convenient shopping center - Starbucks before and frozen yogurt after lunch/dinner :)

We have lived in Temecula for 12 years and this has been our standard restaurant for sushi. It is great quality and the service is friendly. We highly recommend!

  • Brittney S.

the food here seems good but my teriyaki bowl had a huge piece of paper in it. When i called the restaurant to ask about it they hung up on me. When I called back I was told it's just from the chicken. I dont know if its from raw chicken or cooked chicken and the girl didnt tell me or offer to replace the food (which honestly i was expecting to swap out the bowl since I'm not eating something that may have come in contact with raw chicken.. I'm worried about the 3 bites i did take) I'm, disappointed and hungry. Terrible Customer Service

  • Miranda F.

I'm giving it two stars, sadly...I came here for the first time a few days ago to eat something before my blood donation and my mom and I were the only people in the place. We went in and got our drinks, the hostess was really nice. When we wrote our little order down and gave it to the chef, he was texting on his phone and ignoring us. We got a fried roll that had crab in it and it was completely over cooked. I own a deep fryer and I can tell if something isn't right. It smelled way too fishy, it tasted like the oil wasn't fresh and the crab was cooked for too long. The chef barely did anything but text and watch tv and cut our roll. We only ended up getting two rolls to split. I don't think I'll come here again...it was a disappointing first time.

Sushi Camp is a Japanese restaurant in Temecula. It's a small location with friendly service and a larger number of regulars. My Overall Rating - 3 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Located in a strip mall, Sushi camp has about what you would expect in a general Japanese restaurant. There's a long sushi bar area, assorted tables, and a few decorations here and there. Neither traditional nor trendy, it's about what you would expect in suburbia. It's also very clean, but lacks real character. 1/2 Star. Service - Sushi Camp is great in this area. We had multiple servers in our party of 8, and we had no issues. They were nice, very helpful, and the since my sister is a big fan of Sushi Camp, she could literally yell out orders to him. Hard to beat that kind of personal service. 1 Star. Food - The sushi here is par for the course. Sashimi is fresh and the rolls are good. I was a little disappointed in the lobster roll's presentation as it was well spoken of in other reviews. Udon was a bit "busy". There were several items in the broth (those sliced fishcakes) that seemed a bit unnecessary. Hamachi Kama had good portions of meat. It was a bit dry to be sure you use the sauce. Overall a good meal but not a great one. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Only if my sister wants too. My sister loves Sushi Camp and goes here exclusively. If I'm with her I will return; however, I probably won't if I'm going on my own. That being said, you'll still get a quality Japanese meal here so check them out! 1/2 Star. My Yelp Rating Scale (Sum of all parts): 1 Star - Atmosphere - Is it a cool dive? Perhaps an upscale place? No matter the type, atmosphere plays a big part and I'll give a star if I like it or thinks it has great charm. 1 Star - Service - You can have a great meal with bad service. But that's also what can make a five star joint drop to four. It's important to the dining experience that service is great and on point. 2 Stars - Food - I'll award up to two stars for the food, since this is the main reason we dine out. Sometimes the extra star is given for value, but it's really all about the food. 1 Star - Will I come back? - If I know for a fact I'll return, I'll give this a star. A place has to make an impression for me to return. Each Category can be given up to 1 star except food (2 stars) because I consider all these categories important to the overall dining experience. I will sum them up to provide my final Yelp score.

We love the food & great service at this charming little sushi restaurant... My wife & I are not big sushi eaters, (love the California roll!) but they have fantastic tempura that is outstanding... And our sushi friends say the sushi is the best....

Great experience at sushi camp! The second we walked in we were greeted by a friendly server and one of the sushi chefs. We are at the bar and ordered the Tuna Tataki and crunch roll. The chef was fantastic! He listened to our orders and allowed us to customize how we like them. He was warm and very kind. We ordered beers and the server told is about a special they were having on beers. 2 smalls for $5 or 2 larges for $10. A we did the two large Saporros. We were in there before closing time and they didn't rush us at all and told us to take our time and enjoy ourselves. Alex, our sushi chef was great! He even made us a special sushi salad that was amazing! We will drfinately be back to Sushi Camp.

Would come back again. Loved the crunchy rolls! Great selection and they give you a big portion which I've found rare at other sushi spot

Ducked in here with my girlfriend on the way to Palm Desert. This place was bad. Bad to the point that we felt sorry for them. I think that a seven year old might have attacked the sushi chef when nobody was looking and slid him into the back dumpster. How do you screw up an avocado roll? How do you screw up egg rolls? We ordered some other nonsense roll that was clearly not in the comfort range of Jr. and it was a sloppy hot mess that I didn't even bother touching. Sushi Camp needs to redo the first grade and have their Costco card revoked.

Delicious. Well made with the proper portions of ingredients. Just a really good sushi spot!

  • Cortney S.

We are extremely picky about the freshness of our fish. We ordered lots of different sashimi it was all fresh. Very impressed, and their happy hour which we stumbled upon on a Wednesday is great! One of our new favorite places!

  • Kenneth H.

Owners Lucas and Jay make you feel right at home. Donni is the bomb. Remembers every customer, what they ordered last time, what they ordered a year ago. Freshest fish in town. Best tasting sushi I've had in Temecula. I'm a regular two to sometimes three times a week. Find me at the bar because the beers are cheep and the food is exceptional. Don't want raw fish??? Then there's plenty of choices. Kitchen menu is awesome. Try the Soft-shell Crab, Yellowtail Kama and the Calamari Skewers. My favorite place to eat in town. Small and non-commercial for me. Love this place!

These guys would have gotten more stars because the sushi was really good...but, TERRRRIIBLE service. Everything was looking up at first. The server greeted us right away, was prompt with the waters, but it went downhill quickly. My wife's sushi came out, the waitress walks away, and we had to wait for her to come back to ask for wasabi. She brings the wasabi, but leaves us no finger bowls for the soy sauce. She was off again as quickly as she could get away from the table, so I noticed some on an adjacent table and just grabbed them. btw...i'm forgetting to mention this place was far from busy. By the time we were ready to leave, my water glass had been empty for a while. We waited for some time and i finally had to waive her down to get the bill. i filled it out and we again waited until i got tired of looking over my shoulder and just walked the bill up myself. It was clear our server was far more interested in goofing around with the sushi chefs than tending to her patrons. great sushi...poor service.

  • LaCosta M.

Went to dinner here with my daughter. It was midweek and not busy, the waitresses were attentive, but the food took about twenty minutes to arrive. We ordered a seafood yakisoba (okay) and three rolls (spicy tuna, uni, caterpillar) that really tasted the same. I had to request wasabi because it didn't come with it. It just was not a good enough experience to return.

This is a second attempt. Minus having to work three menus to figure out what to order it is not that bad. Kid meal is for a small kid. Not a big portion at all. So the tweeners will have to augment it or order off the big boy menus. Roll seem fair priced for portion. I had the sushi combo but portions were some of the smallest in the area. Came with more variety but portion was smaller. Individual rolls seem to be the way to go. Service was inconsistent. Quick with the drink order. Walked away halfway through the ordering then forgot my entree came with miso soup. Had to ask and I was really getting frustrated I could not hear our soft spoken waitress over the ball game. Wife's order was good as she enjoyed the Jalapeño roll. Not sure we will be back anytime soon as other options are appearing in the area.

    (3)
  • Sara C.

not bad. i had the dinner plate for $13 which comes with salad, your choice of roll ( i had the spicy tuna), and choice of meat (i had the chicken cutlet) and for an additional $1 (i believe) i asked for brown rice instead of white. overall, the food was good. it's not super great but i was hungry and craving for japanese food so this place satisfied my craving. service was good, server was nice. overall i think i would come back again and perhaps try something different.

When we moved to Temecula 12 years ago one of the things Iknew I would miss was my favorite Sushi place in San Diego. I have tried literally every Sushi place in Temecula and none compare to my favorite San Diego restaurant. Then Sushi Camp opened. I was skeptical at first so I was cautious. For years now I have safely known this place as my favorite Sushi in the Valley. One thing I understand about some of these bad reviews is this: Cost when discussing Sushi is just dumb. If you want to continue eating $3 or $4 Sushi knock yourself out. If you want quality Sushi then eat at Sushi Camp.

    (5)
  • Darlene G.

I guess reviews for this place are all across the board. Bottom line though is that I've been coming here for years and probably average a visit here once every couple months. I've done both dine in and carry out here and whenever I do there is usually a good crowd inside so they've definitely got their fans. I usually order sushi and it's always been good. I like their vast selection of sushi rolls and their explanations of what each roll is. Although it can be a little overwhelming to have so many choices...it's fun to try something new every once in awhile. I will say that the prices are a little high and their happy hour prices aren't that great of a deal. But, it's a convenient location and their service is fast so that makes up for it a little bit. I would probably go here more often if the prices were a little lower but all in all it's a great place for your sushi fix.

    (4)
  • Sam R.

The sushi really is great here, but they are over the top stingy. I'll spare the details from the multiple visits that have formed this opinion, but would encourage everyone to take a look at your check before you slap the credit card down. Also, note that the Yelp check-in offer will only apply to your fountain drinks if you order anything during happy hour.

  • Shana A.

Hands down the worst sushi I have ever had in my life. The bento box came served on a fajita platter. The miso soup was the worst I have ever tasted. I would stay far away. Two stars because the food was edible just awful.

  • Diana P.

I assure you Sushi Camp is NOT closed! I have been a patron of Sushi Camp for years. The staff is always attentive, and they have great recommendations. On my most recent visit I had the Heart Attack & the Pechanga Roll. The Heart Attack is a deep fried roll with spicy tuna, cream cheese & jalapenos. Sometimes it can be quite spicy, if you are not accustomed to jalapenos this is not the roll for you! The Pechanga Roll is lightly deep fried, with all sorts of different fish & a dollop of cream cheese. This roll also has a spicy element to it. The Pechanga Roll is large, perfect for sharing. The fish is fresh & the presentation is perfect!

I have tried many sushi places in the area and I am actually really picky when it comes to sushi and sushi camp always rises above the rest! Great service such family friendly people and the food is outstanding!!!

  • Helen B.

My husband and his best friend and I came to Sushi Camp last night. It was...all right. Upon entering, we recieved no welcome and were greeted by no waitress. We awkwardly walked across the room and sat ourselves, and were given menus. The prices listed are far too high for the quality roll presented! And the portion size is a joke. I ordered two pieces of Albacore sushi and they were laughably small when the waitress brought them. One of our rolls never came, although we were definitely charged for it. We asked that we be given our roll before they brought an updated bill, and the waitress seemed a bit confused... The few highlights included a free seafood salad from the chef and a 10% discount off our bill for the charging mistake. All in all, nice decor in a more private shopping center with a somewhat friendly staff. However, the only reason we went was because Hana is closed for remodeling...once Hana Sushi reopens, we won't be at Sushi Camp again. It just can't compare.

  • Erin C.

I've been here twice now and what can I say? GREAT sushi and not 5 mins away from my house. The fish is always tasty and they have a TON of specialty rolls. The only negative is the service which is hit or miss. The first time I was there it wasn't great, the second time it was better. Menus have extensive descriptions of what is in and ON the rolls, which I love. Can't wait to come back!

Sushi Camp has been my favorite sushi spot for years! They always have the nicest service and freshest fish available. They have AMAZING lobster rolls and the Beverly Hills roll is fantastic. My family and I eat here all the time and they never cease to impress! I highly recommend this place for any occasion.

Solid little sushi place in a strip mall. Everything we had was delish. Highlights were the hamachi and the spicy tuna hand roll. Fish was fresh. Worth it if you are near here.

Sushi Camp is hands down the best sushi in or near Temecula. I honestly don't know of another place I would trust for truly good and fresh sushi. I probably pass a dozen or more other sushi restaurants to get to Sushi Camp, but it's worth the drive. The owner and staff are down to earth, friendly and very hospitable. You get what you pay for, so it isn't cheap. But, if you've been a fan of sushi for a while, you'll appreciate what you're getting here. Nothing compares! This place is nimber one on my top 5 spots to eat out/spend my money.... (the other four are Gourmet Italia, Public House, SkyBox and the Temecula Valley Wine Collective). Give this place a shot; you won't regret it.

It really surprises me that this place is so highly reviewed. I've been here a few times w/ my BF's family and I can't say I've had a truly pleasant experience. Two of the times I've been here, they've run out of a particular menu item that we'd ordered. That's fine. It must be a sign that the item was really good (and that we should get there earlier than dinner time!). However, both times, they failed to inform us of that until some of us had already gotten our food. By the time the new order was made and brought out, some of us were already finished eating! i understand that these types of things happen, but we never got an apology or any kind of compensation. They were also really inattentive while we were there, and our water glasses sat empty without our first refill for most of our time there. Most of the menu is reasonably priced (soups/bowls/combos), but I noticed that some of the specialty rolls were really expensive (some as high as $22.99/roll)! For prices like that, I'd expect to be sitting in an upscale lounge , not a hole in the wall restaurant. I've tried some of their mid priced rolls ($12-16) and while they were good, the fish wasn't the freshest (or best) I've ever had. I felt like the different rolls I tried were overpowered by (insert sauce here). They also fell apart really easily. Two starts were given because they have Orion beer, which is my favorite Japanese beer. If given a choice, i probably wouldn't come back. We don't live in Temecula, so when we do visit, I'll try and steer the group elsewhere.

My bf and I came to sushi camp on Sat night. There's nobody there I thought they're closed. Anyways, as we walked in the waitress said hello but the sushi chef just looked at us and didn't say a word, no smile, no friendly face whatsoever. We order a beer and just sat there and the chef still not saying any thing to us. I almost got up and leave but my bf said it's ok, just order a few things and leave. We order a few orders and ended up paying like 54 dollars. Over priced and small portion, plus no friendly face. I will never go back there. I love sushi and we go out for sushi every week. They've lost good customers. Too bad.

The best sushi in town, hands down! Went here Tuesday night with my wife and daughter and had a great dinner. Asked the sushi chef (Donny) to make me whatever he felt like, it was amazing! Excellent service and the fish is always fresh, GREAT JOB!!!!

  • Kirk P.

By far the best sushi in the area! We've tried virtually all of them and Sushi Camp has the freshest fish, the nicest staff and owners and best, comfortable atmosphere. We found Sushi Camp about 5 years ago and haven't been anywhere else since. Ask for Donny or Lucas. They're always behind the bar. Tell them Kirk sent you.

Pretty crappy...rolls with tempura had a bad/old oil taste, miso soup was bland and salmon skin roll tasted like crap(tasted like salmon skin was fried and not broiler crisped) i eat a salmon skin roll every sushi place i go to. First time that i did not eat it. worst sushi place ever been to.

Best Sushi Restaurant in Temecula, hands down! If you are looking for consistently solid quality, great tasting sushi, this is the place for you! When I first started eating here, there were little changes I'd request here and there. ie no dressing on my salad, soy paper instead of seaweed, etc. The very next time I came in they remembered without me asking. My favorite roll is the ichiban. Donny, the sushi chef, knows I like sushi (but only salmon, albacore and tuna, I'm picky!) and don't always order it. So he started giving me my ichiban, with a green salad (no dressing) with little chunks of the sushi. This kind of attention is priceless! It is a nice little place with good energy, an attentive and friendly staff (not overly chatty, which I love) ... ok, I just have to say it ... I don't like walking into Subway and having all the employees stop what they're doing to look up and shout "Welcome to Subway!" I feel like I'm in a commercial. I could open the door and throw a mouse inside and they'd greet it exactly the same! haha .... ok, back to Sushi Camp, and quick, efficient, and humble service. Seriously, all alone at lunchtime and only have 15 min to eat? Let them know when you walk in the door and you'll be fed and out the door quickly. If you've only tried it once or twice, go back again. My husband hated sushi when I first met him and thanks to Sushi Camp and their patient suggestions and attention to detail, he now orders more rolls than I do! Kathie and Mike Temecula

Would have to say best sushi in town! The lobster baked is to die for...I can eat that all night, well maybe not all night...but it's so good!

Sushi Camp is our favorite Sushi Restaurant in So Cal. The place can get crowded so get there early. The most original rolls anywhere. No competition in the Temecula Valley. Highly recommend the blackjack roll, samba roll. Unique specials rotate all the time, all delicious like abalone prepared like nowhere else, kobi beef sashimi, mediterranean blue fin, "taquito" roll. It just goes on and on. Yummy!

Sushi=4 stars We found this place almost 4 years ago when we lived here. We moved away and recently returned to the area. The sushi is still the same great quality and taste we remembered from back then! We're so glad some things haven't changed. Cooked food=2 stars The cooked food is a toss-up -- sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not. The quality and taste is ok, not as consistent as the sushi they serve. So this is a good "sushi" place for us. We'll try somewhere else for the Japanese cooked dinners.

Best sushi ever! I come here at least twice a week and either the waitress whos always there or the manager/owner gives me 10% off my meal! It ends up being a little pricey, but it's so worth it! Fresh fish and great customer service! (:

Who would expect good sushi in the middle of godforsaken nowhere? Me. This place is about an hour from the camp I volunteer at, which is actually in the middle of nowhere in the mountains above Temecula. I gave this place a shot when I had a hankering for something that wasn't cooked over a campfire last week and was pleasantly surprised! The food is well-presented and they take care to do the little things, like moisten the ends of the seaweed wrap when they make a hand roll and arrange their rolls with garnish. It looks like a hole-in-the-wall sushi joint from the outside, but is definitely more than that on the inside. Everything I had hit the spot, be it albacore and yellowtail or the hand California rolls. Their spider roll was also good. The only reason I'm docking a star is because their fish is not of the greatest quality. Don't get me wrong. It's good, but great is a designation reserved for the truly mind-blowing fish that leaves you wanting more even though you're completely full.

One word... Happy Hour! $8 rolls...great service! Been here a few times, never a bad experience. Would def recommend... If I had one thing to say is that they could cut out all the pointless garnishes and shave their prices on their normal priced rolls a bit. They are a tad on the expensive side, but cheaper than Hanna.

Yeah, I dont know who said this place was closed, but it is NOT. Their hours have changed a bit, but it is still open. This is my favorite place to go get sushi. They are nice, and their sushi has been fantastic every time we go there! They always have a good deal on rolls.

Solid and unpretentious. My favorite Japanese restaurant in the Temecula area. Last time I went I asked "What's good today"? The Chef looked more than a little offended and assured me that everything was good. We ordered far and wide, and everything was up to snuff. Good Service and Food, decor feels like a dinner.

You know what? I don't really like sushi. In my heyday, I could go for a good california or spicy tuna roll, but now, not so much. I went here last night on a date, and it's an adorable little place. They give you soy beans with your sushi, which is awesome, because I love soy beans. I get a little confused with sushi and how to order it, but I got the crunch roll, and it was really good. I'm just not much of a sushi person I guess. But if I were...this would be my first pick. Oh yeah.

Not all California Rolls are created equal, but Sushi Camps' are delicious! I also enjoyed the inagi and spider rolls- all downed with green tea (which was always refilled by the attentive waitstaff). The food was so yummy, I look forward to going back.

I'd hate to be a dissidenting voice but this place was mediocre at best. The sushi was overpowered by sauces (which are often used to mask -- less than fresh sushi). The sushi fell apart - the rice was a little undercooked. The noodles were packaged. But on a high note...the service was friendly.

Wow I am surprised I am the first one to write something about this restaurant. This place has amazing sushi! It is sooooo good. I live downtown, and no I do not attempt to drive all the way up to Temecual to eat there. But, I do have friends that live there, when I am there I have to hit up this place. Believe me I love sushi and this place is HIGHLY recommended!

Don' t let the size of this restaurant fool you. Forget the bigger guys and check this place out. They have some great sushi and the atmosphere is cozy. Their spicy tuna roll is excellent and for a little more of the naughtier fare.....check out their heart attack roll. Other notables are their miso soup and yakisoba. Oh, and the edamame is on the house! Well done.
