Pro: very good food, extremely reasonably priced. The service is outstanding, I'm not sure if we went two minutes without someone checking on us. Con: This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but the portions are enormous!

Salina is the best!!! I love the customer service with her is incredible! Food is great love it! Always pack but because of the service and food! You should try this place!

I love the breakfast here!! The boyfriend and I have been here twice now, and we have been extremely happy both times. The first time we came in it wasn't too busy, and we were seated right away. We both had coffee which was great. I had the corned beef hash and eggs and my boyfriend got a huge omelette. They were both delish. Honestly, the corned beef has was some of the best I've ever had. We came back a second time and they were a bit busier, but we still only had to wait about 15 minutes. This time The boyfriend and I both god chicken fried steak and eggs and we both loved it. I don't think it was as good as the corned beef hash though. The pricing here is extremely fair, and we were surprised at the amount of food we got for how small the price. The only negative here, is that it has always been really cold here when we come in. If they could lay off the AC a bit that would be great!

I am so excited that my husband and I wandered across this place!!! We were planning to go to the Broken Yolk Cafe, but it was ridiculously crowded. I looked up places in the area and decided on this one since my favorite breakfast restaurant in Massachusetts is called the "Country Kitchen". Anyway, it was amazing! The servers were very friendly and attentive! The restaurant was extremely clean! The food came out quick as a whip despite there being many other customers! And, best of all, their omelet was to DIE for!!! Exactly like my place back home! Thin eggs that haven't been whipped to death and lots of filling on the inside. There is nothing worse than a fluffy omelet, and it was so refreshing to see an omelet exactly how it should be!!! We will definitely be going back!!! P.S. The home fries and biscuits and gravy were darn good, too!

This place was delicious and the staff was super friendly! The chicken fried steak is hands down the best I have ever had and the portions are generous. I look forward to going back!

  • Amanda O.

Not that good. I'm being generous with 3 stars. The one positive thing I'll say is that the food came our tv really fast, and it was not expensive. The food wasn't that great, to be honest. But if you want fast and cheap, this is the way to go.

  • Patricia P.

Great place for breakfast. In town for a couple of days and found this spot. They got delicious biscuits and gravy. Great service!!

    (5)
  • Jim G.

Not sure at all why they have a 4 star rating. The service was good, but the food was very average I could make better at home.

    (2)
  • Jason T.

Best breakfast in town... nothing special but cooked the way it should be...nothing like some country saugage and eggs..mmmmmm

I'm a huge fan of diners and breakfast in general. Since moving to the area, I've checked out this diner, Mo's egg house and Annies Cafe. Between the three, this was by far the worst. The food was just ok, very surprised that it has 4 stars overall. My omelet was alright, I ordered extra cheese and it really didn't appear to have any but I was charged for it. The pancakes were a total let down. Bland food all around, service was ok. Our waitress came around often but didn't look happy at all. Price, average for a diner. I will not return, especially since Annies Cafe was so damn good.

    (2)
  • Janet T.

Went there for breakfast. Casual, friendly and food was very good. Corned beef hash and chicken fried steak were good, although we didn't care too much for the gravy on the chicken fried steak. Will go back

  • Barbara W.

Breakfast at it's finest! The place is decorated with American pride and things you might find in Grandma's kitchen. Food: Everything was absolute yummers! I had country potatoes with biscuit and gravy. I washed it down with sweet tea. There's a nice variety of country breakfast as well as some diversity with some traditional Mexican breakfast dishes. Service: It was very welcoming. I had sweet tea and the second waitress that served us refilled my glass with regular tea. When I told her the mix up she quickly fixed it and was so kind about it.

We were in Temecula on a whim from San Marcos, and we were originally going to go to a different restaurant, but it was super busy. So we went across the street to Patsy's and we are soooooo glad that we did! Staff was extremely sweet and helpful and very attentive. The food was crazy fast! We were hooked by the first bite! Our son's breakfast (Mickey Mouse pancake breakfast) came with a sausage that was extremely tasty - needless to say, he only got a bite of it! My husband had the biscuits and gravy and loved it, and I had a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings. The burger was huge and really good BUT the onion rings (with a side of ranch) were to die for! We ordered a second order of onion rings because they were so good! Definitely will recommend this place and will most definitely make the drive back to Temecula to go again! Thanks for the awesome breakfast!!!!

Great food and great service. We went here because egg hose cross the street was packed. Here also packed but God seated fast. Very reasonable prices and great potions and great service. I will be coming here more often. Oh and get the salsa with ur food so tasty. The hash browns is the best I ever had.

Stop By For a Breakfast Skillet, almost every week. Less than $10 to feed 2, possibly even 3 people in the morning depending on hunger levels. On the side of the skillet you have the choice of toast, pancake or biscuits and gravy. I've purchased every skillet at least twice and each are good in their own way, and always get the biscuits and gravy. Always greeted right when I walk in, though it can be hectic for the 1-2 waitresses watching the dining area that morning. SO PLEASE BE COURTEOUS AND UNDERSTANDING. Even in the midst of a rush, I have never received bad customer service. The dining area is a real welcoming and spread out area, never sat and ate, always calling ahead for a to go order, they place foil to line some of their to go orders, and I always request they don't line with foil. We were celebrating a birthday and ordered 4 skillets and 4 biscuits, it was already for me to pick up in 10 mins and I was out the door, I was in such a rush to get back I forgot my card, and they held onto it for me and knew who I was when I came in the next day to pick it up. Even though there was only one girl on the floor, waiting on guests. Have yet to try this place out for anything but a skillet, but why change whats already working so well.

  • Ingrid B.

First time and will be back to try all their awesome items. Lindsey was our waitress and she was very helpful and sweet. She even let me sample the menudo cuz she knew I was undecided with my order. I got the chilaquilas red and they were great.

  • Alysse A.

This place was just what we needed for breakfast! Big plates of home made country style breakfast and great service! I had the breakfast skillet and I have tried to mimic it ever sense!

    (5)
  • Katherine A.

Great place for breakfast!! Their biscuits and gravy is some of the best I've ever had..staff is very friendly and very attentive ..prices are reasonable...a definite must!!

    (4)
  • Bree B.

Service was good, the food was good enough, I had cinnamon French toast and the country potatoes... the potatoes a bit mushy but well seasoned and enjoyable... My partner had an omelette with extra cheese and bacon and he enjoyed it. The coffee was for him thin and we needed up hitting a Starbucks for a real coffee.. The wait was LESS than at Mo's - so this place was a good call

    (3)
  • Erica D.

Whenever we get a chance to get a real breakfast, we go to patsy's. Serena is always super friendly and remembers my order. Love their home cooking and always love the music and vibe .

    (5)
  • Mommy Z.

Very watered down coffee. I was really saddened by this. :( Pancakes and French toast were really good and so was their sausage patty. The pancakes are huge! We had to help our 9 year old eat them up. My other daughter got the chilaquiles plate. Comes with home fries (just ok) and refried beans. The chilaquiles had a good flavor. The downfall was that they got soggy really fast. She didn't finish them because of the sogginess (weird texture.) my hubby loved their green chile omelette. My 5 year old got the Mickey shaped pancake. He ate half his plate. Next time I will try something different but will bring my own coffee.

  • Fates W.

The breakfast is excellent, the huevos rancheros is a uniquely made with chorizo and verde sauce the taste was amazing. The eggs Benedict great flavor and taste.

    (5)
  • Jose C.

Love this place.. and there's plenty of breakfast restaurants around here but patsy s is the best.. great service and food!!!

    (5)
  • Mimi H.

Favorite spot to get breakfast. The servers are great and the prices are reasonable. The pancakes are amazing and our family loves the omelets.

    (4)
  • Gema M.

This was our first visit and I must say it was pretty good! It was a packed Sunday, but they seated our party of 6 pretty quickly and customer service is very good! Food is great and big portions. I had the Patsy's Country Skillet, and it was amazing! It also came with a side of pancakes, toast or biscuit and gravy. I had the biscuit and gravy! So good but so much food! Even the kids meals are a good size! By the way, you must try their sweet tea! Best I've had!

    (4)
  • Maria F.

Great service & the food is delicious! Try their Chile verde chilaquilles,, pretty darn good!

    (4)
  • Don B.

The food is good. I had the cowboy skillet. The skillet was greasy, but that is expected. Mom had the French toast. She said she wished they used thicker white bread. I think they use wheat bread. The coffee is weak unfortunately. The service was great!

    (3)
  • Justin F.

Was in the area and decided to try this little place out. The reviews were some what negative but we still wanted to give this place a try. My girlfriend ordered the Chorizo Skillet and I ordered the Chilequiles. They were both decent and was a good amount of food. The price was good and the service was nice. Not really sure if we would come here again.

    (3)
  • Gabe P.

Breakfast was really good. When I came in they were really busy and surprisingly I received my bood in a timely manner. Bood is very affordable and plates have a big portion of food.

    (5)
  • Jeff G.

Great food, friendly staff, proper prices I visit either Patsy's on Mia's about three times a week

    (5)
  • Beverly S.

Our group ended up here since Mo's had an hour wait. We were so happy that we ran across the street desperate for breakfast after a night of imbibing at our friends' winery wedding! The entire staff was friendly and attentive. They checked to make sure every party was helped and accounted for. Then when we got seated, they immediately took our order and our food arrived in no time. Portion sizes were generous and tasted homemade. We left happy and satisfied with enough leftovers for breakfast the next day.

    (4)
  • Jimmie D.

Great food. My favorite breakfast place hands down. They serve menudo daily & the service is excellent. I love the country music playing as you eat breakfast.

    (5)
  • Alphonso E.

Should really be a last resort. My omelet and coffee was really bland and weak. Although the staff was friendly and nice.

    (2)
  • Andi D.

Very good breakfast compared to the other breakfast places in town. Good and friendly service with great food!

    (5)
  • Matthew B.

I have a love hate relationship here. Sometimes its hands down the best breakfast in town. The others its not what I ordered or made wrong (cold food, multiple meats not cooked all the way through) I've noticed one cook there has a real challenge reading tickets. When hes there I know my order with be wrong. The wait staff here are so friendly, and accommodating and can only apologize for him every time. For a long time I didnt say anything because the staff is so great. The burgers are gigantic and tasty, the coffee is perfect everytime and the portioning is more than fair for the price.

    (4)
  • Judye R.

On the suggestion of a friend, we visited Patsy's instead of Mo's. It lived up to his rave reviews. Laid back but great service, delicious food and nice-sized portions. We ordered the Super Omelet and Chilaquiles. Omg... sooo good. I'm not even an omelet person but it was amazing. Good coffee, too. The following weekend we came back and loved it again.

    (4)
  • Jacki O.

Awesome menu of American and Mexican food. Good service even when they were busy! If I'm in the area again I would def stop by to eat again.

  • Lyn S.

On the hunt to try new places for breakfast, I stumbles upon this semi hole in the wall. Let me say, I was pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing, the portions and the pricing is truly unbeatable amd service was on point. If you're in the Jefferson area, please try them out, you won't be disappointed!

    (5)
  • Stephen M.

Everyone here is cordial and makes you feel "at home." The cooks look up and actually say hi and acknowledge you. The Mexican Menu is spot on

    (5)
  • Giovanni S.

Now this is what I call breakfast with a smile! Salina was our server. She was awesome and very attentive. I had the Chile Verde omelet and my fiancé had the Super Omelet. We both ordered the country potatoes well done and they came out just as ordered. Gabriel (the chef) did a wonderful job. Omelets were cooked to perfection. Our plates were so clean, you could have put them back on the shelf. This isn't our first time here and definitely won't be our last. They are very very consistent with their food and service! For any of you islanders out there, try their Spam and eggs. So full it's time for a nap :).

  • Sandi K.

A friend told me she had "the best Super Spinach Omelet" at Patsy's, so my husband and I ventured in. It was SO much better than Broken Yolk and Mo's Egg House! The omelet was delicious - spinach, bacon, mushrooms, oniopns and cheese - expertly prepared. And the hash browns were delicate crisps of real potato (I asked for them well done...and they were perfect!) We found our new favorite breakfast place in Temecula. We'll be back. (Ah, if they only had Gluten Free pancakes...)

    (4)
  • Andrea C.

So i got an omelette... It was enough to feed maybe 2 or 3 people. It was delicious. The hash browns were very yummy. Order them with grilled cheese and onions on top. I also got a side out biscuits and gravy which were pretty disappointing since everything else was good. Very crowded but still good service. Enjoyed myself. Will be back

  • Shanlan S.

My family loves this place!!! The prices are very reasonable and the food is delish! We are so happy to find this little gem. Very friendly staff and very comfortable atmosphere.

    (5)
  • Jim S.

This is the place for good home cooking. The servings are large and rather inexpensive . The service is outstanding. I've eaten there several times and can't wait until I return.

  • Jesse A.

The first time I came across Patsy's Country Kitchen was in Banning. We absolutely loved the food here. Well to my surprise they just recently opened one close to my house here in Temecula. My wife, kids, and I tried our usual and wow it's the same that we were used to. The 1/2 Bacon Cheeseburger is awesome. My wife said that here Machaca Omelette was the best. It's good to see them growing and keeping a hand on quality and just all around deliciousness! If I was a direct competitor to them I'd definitely be scared. They've proven to be a great restaurant wherever they've set up shop. The waitresses are on the ball too! Great job! Will be back.

    (5)
  • Tania S.

Horrible breakfast. They have a whole section of biscuits and gravy so we expected that to be their best choice. Far from it! Not even edible. Took two bites and couldn't go for a third. Waitress didn't even ask what was wrong even though the lack of consumption was obvious. Eggs Benedict was mediocre to poor as well. Hash browns were good but not worth going back for. Very disappointed.

    (1)
  • Mr. A.

Great food and service, a hidden gem. Their prices are better than most breakfast spots in the area. My wife and I came here last weekend and came back again this weekend. I'm not sure about the mixed reviews, I guess you can't please everyone. I really enjoy this place and I plan on returning...often.

    (4)
  • Ed D.

Always a great experience! Very willing to make the customer King or Queen. Tried the steak and eggs today. Very good! A must have when in Temecula.

    (5)
  • Lindsay C.

Great food with large portions. Authentic country kitchen. Service was a little impersonal. They only accept military discount when "in uniform."

    (4)
  • Ken D.

My wife had the chili verde omelet and I had Italian sausage and eggs. Hers was way better yummy

  • Yvette U.

My family love going to new restaurants in the area. We came upon Patsys a couple months ago. Establishment as you walked in was clean and the feeling of being served a home cooked meal....HORRIBLE! There was waitresses running around, didn't know who was the hostess. No one welcomed us, no one came up to ask how many in our party. A few looked at us and carried on with their business. It wasn't even busy! 10 minutes passed before a very nice waitress asked if we were being helped. She sat us down and gave us menu's. Menu had a lot of items that looked very appetizing. Another 15 minutes came and went before another waitress came by and asked us what we wanted to eat. No offer for drinks, just straight to the menu. She was rushing our order and wasn't giving her full attention to us as the next table she was tending to because she knew them. Food came, dont remember what we ordered but at this point, we were annoyed with the service from the time we walked in. Food was bland, drinks were watered down, my daughter ordered chocolate milk and it was milk with chocolate syrup all clumped up at the bottom of the glass. Never coming to this place again. Service sucked, waitress we had was rude, and the food is not home style cooking if half the stuff on the plate is drenched in oil.

    (1)
  • Kevin B.

Yes we will be back. Great option instead of Mo's across the street. Don't over order as the portions are a good size. You won't be leaving hungry. The eggs and cactus was delicious as was the French Toast. Best part was that you weren't limited to the one waiter or waitress like normal; the entire staff was helpful and friendly.

    (4)
  • Susan M.

Service is Excellenct... Food is always yummy and fresh. Mindy Rocks!!! Love that Birch!!!

    (5)
  • Mark P.

Definitely a go to place for breakfast (we haven't tried lunch here yet). Rustic atmosphere with an amazingly friendly staff a solid menu of traditional breakfast foods. Everything was fresh well prepared and delicious. Recommended!

    (4)
  • Chris E.

Simply amazing.... Reminds me of southern cooking and hospitality. This is by far my favorite restaurant I have been to while living in California

    (5)
  • Jason G.

Excellent service and cleanliness. Breakfast was good too. First time here, only time will tell. But I would recommend this place for sure. Nice country feel here.

    (4)
  • Beale D.

A damn near perfect American diner (both north and south). A menu that has just the right amount of classic diner food plus menudo (every day!), chilaquiles, nopales. A few offbeat omlettes to make things interesting. Cheesy Americana interior, staff that knows the locals. Love it.

    (5)
  • Emm W.

If you are waiting in line outside the Egg House, I suggest you walk across the street to patsys. Awesome foods, great service, great prices. Worth a try and worth going back to.

    (5)
  • JR R.

Food is really spot on. Salina, our usual server is very sweet and attentive. Ample portions, and great selection especially Mexican. My only complaint is the decor is a bit dated. Wish they'd change the paint color on the walls. Sea foam green is so 80's. That being said, I do love eating here.

    (4)
  • Reginald C.

Our waitress Alma is always great. She remembers your name and your preferences. Always has a smile on her face. I wish the hash browns had a different texture and taste.

    (4)
  • Marie R.

Sunday breakfast, restaurant was clean, bright and spacious. Waitress and service was great... Food was border average... we had the pork steak (overcooked, hard, dry and bland). Eggs over medium were good and nice toast. Home fries were OK (soft/mushy in need of salt and pepper) but, the hash browns looked golden and crispy. Hubby had the super omelette but half of it beans, he said it overwhelmed it and the egg portion was paper thin. The pancake was big (the size of the plate) OK, not great, but not bad. Coffee was OK, not good cuppa Joe, but not horrible either. The service was memorable but the food was not. Two breakfasts, one coffee and one large OJ w/tip for great service was $30.

    (2)
  • Ruby H.

Love this place!! Their generous portions fill us up everytime. The corn beef hash, country sausage patties & chorizo are the best!! My husband loves the stacks of pancakes & chilaquiles. They also have daily specials that are great deals. We will come back for sure. I love that their cups are huge so I don't need as many refills.

    (5)
  • V W.

Amazing!!! I couldn't believe this place was not packed on a Sunday morning, this must be a hidden gem in this area. We were used to going to the banning location for so many years and when I saw that they had a location near my new home I couldn't believe it! The food was incredible as always! We had the kids Mickey mouse pancakes, vegetarian omelette, breakfast skillet, eggs Benedict, country breakfast, chorizo and eggs and the biscuits and gravy. EVERY MORSEL WAS INCREDIBLE! Staff was super friendly and food came out hot and fast! I'm a local FOODIE so I have tried many breakfast restaurants (husbands favorite meal) and I can honesty tell you this is THE BEST BREAKFAST CAFE EVER! Thank you!

  • Janet K.

Recently moved into the area. Looking to try new places. Great food, excellent service and friendly staff. Definitely will go again!

  • Mikae Y.

I hate to give only 3 stars since the girls were so sweet! Well, I just have to go with the taste and dish that they serve, sorry. We ordered Blueberry waffle with sausage and 2 Eggs & Hush browns. 2 Eggs and Hush brown were acceptable, actually hush browns were crispy and good as I expected. I had biscuit and gravy...it was awful. Gravy was something from out of can, tasted like Campbell's cream of mushroom soup! It was just gross. Biscuit was too dried and I gave up eating. My friend ordered Blueberry waffle and we were able to tell this was made with frozen blueberries. (You can tell when blueberry bits were very small and batter became all purple. If blueberres were raw, the batter doesn't become all purple.) This could also be frozen waffle, since it was bit chewy. We may have ordered wrong thing, but I would expect dishes would have the same level of quality no matter what it is. No, I am not going back...I should try Mo's Egg House next time!

    (3)
  • Taylore C.

Delish!! Blueberry pancakes and breakfast sandwich with hollandaise sauce. Yummmm. Despite the good food, was a little off putting that one of the "customers" kept walking into the kitchen to get her own drinks and food out of the window. Not sure if she is an employee or not, but definitely in violation of the health code by walking into the kitchen in plain clothes without washing her hands. Oh and the 15-year-old looking waitress kept calling us "Hun". Kind of annoying. But other than that, the food was good and we will probably be back.

    (4)
  • Chris T.

Its ok nothing special its like a denny's but less to offer. The sausage links were good and the waffles were ok but I did not get anything that I would come back for :/

Walking in you can smell the new-ness! I sat at the big counter on a comfortably shelacked bar stool. Coffee is good. While not a huge fan of Farmer Bros it was good to go. David is the shiznit! Much to my happiness they served my bacon and eggs on separate plates without me even asking :) The decor is country nice with a touch of whimsy. The vibe is young, cool, and happy... the perfect place to start your day! The eggs were cooked medium and the bacon crispy and on the aforementioned separate plate. Both tasted great with bacon not overly salty and not too crisp but not too soft either. The pancakes are large and standard fare. Until a Cracker Barrel comes in to town with crispy buttery pancakes and lil glass bottles of maple syrup these will suffice. My only strike against Patsys is the margarine. While more expensive I would have the real dairy products offered first and have folks request margarine if they are lactose intolerent or scared of cows in general. They had butter waiting on standby so no points deducted. I am really looking forward to my next visit and def trying their lunch offerings. Hugs to Patsy and crew, good luck!

Great coffee, food was typical country kitchen but good. I really enjoyed their fresh salsa with my breakfast burrito. Simple place and the service from Brooke was on top of everything. Will come back.

  • Caroline J.

We were going to go to Mos across the street after reading reviews on yelp but the wait was long and we were on a time crunch and decided to give Patsy's a try. SO GLAD WE DID. Service was quick efficient and polite food was good and a good price!

    (4)
  • Karen A.

Nice place to start friendly staff. My husband and I always share meals because we find some places serve way too much food for one. Patsy ' s kitchen has nice selection of food or make your own omelet. We had the number 43 ground hamburger mushrooms and jalapeño's with swiss cheese inside. Perfect size to split and no charge added to share. We are always given separate plates without the hassle

My first review...(Yes, this place was SO bad I took the time to register and write...) The smell (stench) of burned eggs hit us in the face as we entered the place... it continued to linger the entire time we were there and made it hard to enjoy our time there. I hoped that the food and service would make up for it, but it failed, badly! I ordered a waffle with strawberries. It was smothered in a huge pile of frozen strawberries! Why??!!?? Fresh strawberries are in season and don't leave a puddle of water for your waffle to get soggy in! Some of them were still ice frozen inside! Not an enjoyable bite, I might add! Needless to say, I ate about three bites and was done. I then moved onto my bacon.... I had a little bite, and literally spit it out into my napkin. I asked my boyfriend if it was real bacon after he tried a bite. He said it tasted like they put it in the deep fryer. Who does that??! It was disgusting! My daughter ordered the chicken strips and fries. She ate one French fry and half a chicken strip... and she's not even a picky eater, but couldn't stomach how horrible it was, like myself. The other two in my party weren't able to finish their meals either. We left EXTREMELY disappointed, but at least there's hope! There is always Mo's across the street! They have always been excellent and so worth the wait! Patsy's was a complete waste of time and money!

    (1)
  • Tawnee J.

I'm only giving three stars because the service was good. For a country kitchen The biscuits and gravy were horrible no flavor what so ever and the bacon was old and re-heated I think

    (3)
  • Jade T.

Ummmm.... So I don't know what tastebuds have been reviewing the food here, but the little dots on my tongue were angry that this was the establishment I chose in my zest to eat and not wanting to wait in line for the place I really wanted to try across the street. Nonetheless, I went into this with a fair mindset and ready to give an honest review so here it is. This place gets 2 stars on customer service alone. That's it. The waitress was super friendly and attentive, the food should've been given the same effort. I ordered the porkchop breakfast with eggs and hash-browns, they were overcooked, hard, and stringy. Weird. Never thought someone could ruin my love of potatoes but this did. The banana nut pancake was soggy, the whole pecans stuck randomly in there didn't help either. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and complained that he couldn't taste the chicken because it was overpowered by the massive amounts of cold gravy it was drenched in. Final straw in my book seeing how that' man will inhale anything when it comes to food. Left here already planning our next venture for lunch. That and getting up early on the weekend to avoid the line at the other spot I wanna try.

  • John Deere G.

Well at first I really enjoyed the food at patsys. It wasn't until I was informed that the cooks working in the kitchen were spitting in people's food. I would stay as far away from this place as possible. I will never eat at patsys again, I suggest you do the same. Disgraceful!

    (1)
  • Don A.

Awesome service, friendly atmosphere and great food. Steak and eggs is the bomb. If your hungry and you want large portions for a great price you should go to Patsy's country kitchen.

  • bimali b.

I liked this place more than I thought I would. The service was good and our waitress was great. She was nice and patient as we had a part of 14 people. I loved the mushroom and swiss omelet but the pancakes were not that good, not much flavor. However, I would go here again for sure.

This isn't a country kitchen at all. It's a lot more a Mexican breakfast place than anything else. 75-80% of the menu is some kind of south of the border breakfast stuff. Then, a few burgers, a handful of sandwiches, and that's all. You just have to get out of California to know what a country kitchen is. The only thing country about this place is the logo and a couple of decorations hanging on the wall. I know. I'm from the country. Real country. And this mexican breakfast crap ain't it.

Skip this place. Go across the street to Mo's and deal with the 45 min wait. At least there you won't regret spending your money. I ordered a breakfast burrito with sausage, there was no sausage in it and I make better breakfast burritos at home regularly. My daughter had the French toast sticks. The waitress told us it came with bacon and sausage and possibly eggs. It actually came with nothing (even though the menu says *includes one side) and she never bothered to come let us know. She also claims the kids French toast sticks are not deep fried, if your grill is getting things that crispy and greasy then that's miraculous. Their syrup is Log Cabin or some crap and it's sitting on the table by the ketchup and creamers, cold. They serve margarine. My husband got menudo and it looked like stew and came with two mini tortillas. He said he ate it because he was starving. This review sounds really bitchy. I'm not! It bums me out when little spots like this open here and then suck, temecula is inundated with huge garbage chain restaurants so when the mom and pop places are bad, it makes all the mom and pop places look bad. Hopefully they change all their food so they survive. But seriously: go to Mo's.

Not What you might think? The service is horiable. The wateriss brought the wrong food and wouldn't even offer to remake the right order, just added green peppers and called it good? Then when I went to pay she said I didn't even charge for the green peppers? What this wasn't even what was ordered? Didn't get refilles on drinks or coffee. Food is average to poor.

Me and my family went here to have breakfast on Sunday for the first time. Our breakfast was perfect , the coffee was fresh and the service was friendly. Even my picky husband really liked his breakfast. My daughter got the cheeseburger kids meal and we were very surprised that the hamburger meat was not a frozen premade patty, my husband finished her left overs! We will be coming back.

My wife and I enjoy going out for breakfast on the weekends and we love to try new restaurants. We noticed after eating at Mo's a couple of weeks ago that Patsy's opened across the street so we of course had to give it a go. It's Sunday about 10:30 and figured we'd have a bit of a wait but were pleasantly surprised that the wait was only a couple of minutes and that was only because we waited for a booth to open. We were seated and promptly greeted warmly by our waitress. I didn't get her name but she was very friendly and seemed happy to be there. This is always a plus to me because there is nothing worse then a grumpy server, especially for breakfast. She took our drink orders and was back with them very quickly. She asked if we had questions about anything, made a couple of suggestions and we ordered. My wife opted for the chicken fried steak and eggs, gravy on the side, fruit and a biscuit dry in place of toast. I judge all breakfast joints by their corned beef hash and eggs so I went for that. I ordered my eggs over easy, hash browns and a biscuit dry instead of toast. The order only took about 10 minutes to get to us which was nice. The chicken fried steak was straight out of a box and the gravy was from a mix and both were just OK, the fruit was nice and fresh though and was a pretty decent amount. The biscuits were home made I think and were nice and fresh. My eggs were perfectly cooked but nothing was very hot (except the eggs). I liked the way they really crisped up the corned beef hash and the hash browns were OK but not fresh made and they were ice cold and I thought the portion sizes were kinda small but I like big plates of food. For drinks, the wife had a coffee and I had iced tea. The iced tea was fresh but too strong for me so I watered it down, I seem to like light tea though and do this at many places, the tea wasn't bad just strong. The coffee was good and fresh but it was tough to get refills on anything and I think with breakfast the coffee should be hot and plentiful. They really needed someone walking around just for drink refills. I hate running out of drink and having to wait for refills. When the food came I asked if they had salsa, I was told yes and was told she would bring some over. It showed up about halfway through my breakfast. I have to say though that it was extremely good salsa though so make sure you order it with your meal if your a salsa lover with food like I am. All said we found breakfast here to be good, not great, but not bad at all. We both agreed though that since it is right across the street from what we consider the best breakfast joint in town we would probably go there first and only come here if we don't want to wait 30 minutes. We will try lunch sometime for sure though because they have a few good looking choices on the menu.

Its ok. They drowned my eggs benedict with a ton of hollandaise sauce but the eggs were poached perfectly. The biscuits looked like they fell apart when they put them on the plate and the gravy was bland but some extra pepper helped. The menudo was good. Very chunky. Chili verde omlette was good. The fries had no seasoning so I guess thats good if your watching your sodium intake. Service was great. Decorations were cute. They should hide their bathroom supplies in the hallway with a curtain though. I would go back and try something else. Their menu had some good options.
