Panda is panda. Yes it is a chain and yes this one location is good consistently. the only downfall about this location is that they don't serve Hot and Sour soup. My go to meal here is the honey walnut shrimp w/ orange chicken for the win!!!

Wow, has this chain gone down hill quick. This will be the next Mr. Chows, started out absolutely awesome and now they pretty much suck. The portions have been cut in half since they first opened. I will never eat at a Panda again, it's just that poor in quality and flavor now. The Honey walnut prawns are half the size they used to be and the Broccoli beef had zero flavor. They also charge a premium price for many of their entree choices, as much as $2.25 per item. I will go to a regular Chinese restaurant from now on, they're not much more and they make it fresh, not off of a steam table. I will not return to any Panda ever again.

Where should I start. They are lots of problems with this Panda Express. I go with the order of severity: 1. Last night all of us (my whole family) had food from here. All of us have upset stomach today. I woke up early in the morning because of the stomach ache.I am worse as I ate more than others. Extremely greasy and probably some Germs in it 2. They don't make any food at the last hour. for example they are open till 10 pm but if you go there after 9 pm, you don't have any choice. They don't cook after that. I understand it from money saving perspective. But it is not an honest business 3. You may end up waiting more than necessary if you don't know Spanish. It can be really annoying. Even when you tell them about it, instead of saying they are sorry, they try to convince you that you are stupid and other guys (that were after you in the line) were ahead of you. And they try their best to be as rude as possible in the whole conversation. To be honest, not all of them are like that. Most of them are nice. But a rude one is enough for your day. I used to order there once-twice a month for few years. But I will never go back there. Becoming sick and being treated rudely are deal breakers.

First of all the fried rice does not look or taste anything like the original recipe. They also have to work on their costumer service skills. It's been a very plain bad experience with Panda Express in Sunnyvale. I will never go back to this location.

If you have 3+ people in your party, the family dinner for $30 is a really good value if you don't mind Chinese food leftovers (I personally love them). Three large entrees (it's a bigger Chinese take out box for each that you choose & they stuff them to the top) and 2 sides (sides don't include any of the egg roll-type of finger foods and is for vegetables, steamed/fried rice, and chow mein). The sides are also put in a large take out box for a total of 5 take out boxes. We got the mixed vegetables as our two sides and the veggies aren't overcooked. I like them a little crisp. If you get the shrimp as an entree it's a couple of bucks extra. Love their spicy beef. It kind of tastes like bacon and isn't too spicy. The sweet sesame chicken is good too. Also got shrimp with walnuts. We have enough for dinner and three separate lunches the next day with the three of us so is well worth it. Lines are long, usually to the door at rush hour and confused people parking, leaving, trying to drive into the crazy, too small lot of theirs. We park over by Walgreens or PetSmart and then walk the very short distance over to avoid the hassle.

Wow, you would expect to wait in line for half an hour at your favorite San Francisco brunch spot (or at the Safeway checkout lane during rush hour, for that matter), but at Panda Express? I came in, with 10 people in front of me, and when I left, the line went through the whole store. Needless to say, I got my food after waiting for about 30 mins. Just wow. Maybe I should open up a Panda Express franchise. That place is a gold mine.

I literally always forget that there's a Panda Express location right here. It's fairly busy during dinner, so if you're really trying to get fast-food Chinese don't expect to be in and out lickity split. Like most Panda locations, I'm really into a 1/2 veggie 1/2 chow main, 2 entree combo with Kung Pao Chicken & Broccoli Beef. Super predictable but reliably edible. Definitely expect a wait here, and don't forget the parking on the opposite side of the main entrance.

Panda Express is actually really good for being a "fast food" Chinese restaurant. My favorite thing to eat there is their honey walnut shrimp, broccoli beef, fried rice, and chow mien. This Panda Express could get really packed. MINI UPDATE: Everything else is the same but lately I've been eating their panda bowls and they are perfect! I usually get fried rice with their mouth watering orange chicken! The size is great and full-filling!

***I really want to give this place half a star, but Yelp is too nice lol.*** So the parking lot is super small and tight. There was also a "homeless" lady standing outside. I honestly don't think she was homeless. She asked my boyfriend and I twice for money, once going in and once going out. That was superrrrr annoying. Anyway getting to my review. This Panda is like any other on the inside. The lady who "greeted" us didn't seem or look very happy to be there or to serve us. She didn't say hi, she said, "Next! What could I get you?" That's a nice greeting!? So I said to her "half veggies and half chow mein." I had to ask for more chow mein and she gave me this cold look. I didn't know she wasn't taking the rest of my order so I started talking to her saying I wanted the honey sesame chicken and she just went to the next person behind me not even saying like "oh she'll help you with that". TOTALLY ignoring me! Moving on to the next lady. She wasn't any better either. When I told her what I wanted she scooped up the chicken then was about to give me a couple more pieces, but then went to put it back. She noticed that I was totally watching her so she had to go back to give me those couple of pieces. She didn't even give a full scoop of orange chicken either. No smile, no emotion for her either. My portions were small, not like the other Pandas places. The cashier was kinda okay. She double checked that she had our order right, then asked us if we wanted a drink. However she DIDN'T give us a fortune cookie!!! That's just wrong!!!!!! Maybe, just maybe they ran out of them, but come on! How can you run out of fortune cookies @ a place like this!? Whatever... I will NOT be back to this one. I only went to this one cuz I was on that side of town. Change up the people, smile more, show good vibes, more positive ness, then I might give this place another chance, but seeing how there are a lot of Panda Expresses around now, I probably will NOT be back @ all.

I had chow mein with broccoli beef and sweet fire chicken breast. I really liked that the chicken actually was sweet with a little kick to it. The broccoli beef was juicy and so was the broccoli, which by the way was cooked just the way I like it. The chow mein was a little dry, but I out teriyaki sauce on it, so it was fine. All in all an okay meal. It's Panda Express after all.

I work in Sunnyvale and we usually go to wok's on down the street. They have really good items and give you the usual heaping portions of food for $6 or $7. Today a co-worker asks for Panda instead. I pull into their tiny parking lot and squeeze into a spot. Then I go through each person's order, not really paying attention to what the employees are doing. I get back to work and start unpacking the boxes. Five boxes were put into one bag. The bottom two are completely crushed and leaking everywhere. Mine is caved in. Then I notice how much it's caved in. What I mean is there's tiny scoops of food in these boxes, not the large overflowing scoops we're all used to. Sorry Panda but for $9 a box you need to be more generous with your portions.

Don't want to cook, dont mind fast food chinese, come to panda. Orange chicken is good. Location always busy so food not just sitting under heat lamps. Not really cheap but edible and you will not leave hungry.

  • Janet N.

Had to get an Orange Chicken fix and was also craving Honey Walnut Shrimp, but didn't want to risk it at a shady Chinese take-out joint. So I opted for Americanized Chinese food! Ordered half Chow Mein and Brown Rice Fried Rice, for the two sides I got Orange Chicken and Honey Walnut Shrimp. Good portions here and they do not use styrofoam anymore which is great (yay Earth-friendly) however the pricing is not justified with the food. The chow mein and rice was lacking in flavor so the only thing that was good was the Orange Chicken, the Honey Walnut Shrimp was okay but too battered in my opinion. The workers on the line were pretty fast, however our cashier mumbled when he spoke so it was impossible to understand him. The parking lot is a disasters, it's cramped and small.

  • Ethyl M.

ok panda express location. there is usually a wait here and that means there is demand and food is often fresh. however, i hate how the workers skimp on the portions, always have to ask them to put a little more in. also, this place always seem to run out of food. why not refill the food before it runs out?

    (2)
  • Meg T.

Service was slow even with only one person in line and no one in front of the customer ahead of me. I also had to repeat myself several times regarding aspects of my order. This isn't really a bad location, it's just not a good location. There are locales that are much quicker, and where the service is friendlier. Unless I need panda asap, I'd rather drive to another location.

    (2)
  • Jon G.

I don't know why I keep trying to come here. Not because of the food. That's a known quantity of Americanized, vaguely Chinese fast food that just hits the spot. No It's the staff and execution. Lines are consistently out the door while the employees work with the urgency of sloths on an Ambien bender. When they do move, it's with complete disregard for the guest experience. Does it take two people to fill the white rice steamer, while stopping the further taking of orders? Gonna go with no. I was going to give two stars, but my las visit had them be completely out of hot mustard. How the hell does that happen?

  • Arnaud H.

I'm a fan! I often take the chow mein, Orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp/mandarin chicken! It comes with a fortune cookie!

Cheap but delicious Chinese fast food. Yummy but not quite healthy. Kids addicted to orange chicken and noodles. The lines are always long at this location. Small, gets crowded and parking is tight.

  • Wendy K.

This Panda Express is just like the one in Foster City. I love walking in and getting the experience I expect at Panda express. The portions are generous - but I always want more. I do like that I get to taste test a dish before I choose what I eat. Even though I know what it taste like, I want to confirm the flavors before I order the dish. I don't think this location offers the brown fried rice option. I might be wrong. I will confirm the next time I visit. The chef's are always working so at peak times the dishes are always nice and fresh. At times the line do get long and sometimes I wish those folks taking a break can hop in just to help out and take a longer break later.

First Timer at Panda Express ! I had to be thrifty this week on a choice for dinner to take home. I was looking for a good Chinese take out that has all the qualities I was looking for. 1. Price is great I got 2 meals both 2 items. ( which doesn't include the rice.) $6.79 2. Hoping to get food that was fresh. 3. Easy in and out. Food: Fried rice - was okay not to say it wasn't the greatest. Orange Chicken - Highlight of the meal - Pretty fresh, spicy, tangy... will do again. Beef and Brocolli - The beef was extremely tender, well seasoned, The brocolli was fresh green, but a little too chrispy (undercooked). But was good. Chicken with Green Beans - Chicken was good, but not enough meat was overwhelmed by the greenbeans. Pot Stickers - 3 very good ! with some sweet and sour sauce. $1.49 for 3 My total bill was $16.39 to feed me and my husband. Great Price. Service is very nice they are patient while you choose. Even ask if you would like to try a taster on a tooth pick. Oh and yes I did. I will certainly be back. They has a large assortment of dishes that I will take my chance and try. Reason for the 3 stars ? Its my belief that a 4 star and 5 star review are for the Outstanding top Wow factor resturants... fast food it just that fast food.

These guys deserve a good review. Who doesn't like Panda?? Whether it's the usual or switching it up its good for the soul! Anyways this review is way overdue. As a regular here I just want to say that The manger Valerie is awesome! It was my first time meeting her. She was so nice to me and my family who were visiting from out of the country! And she did it with a smile and a good heart. Keep up the good work. And I also want to mention Robert and Letty! What great people! Thank you Panda Express for employing people like them who make your business better!! Thank you Letty for serving us and always making us feel at home! This is my Panda! Good job guys and gals, the whole staff! Make sure they get recognition!

I never go to panda express and the one time i do its not the greatest experience! The food is ok ...kinda on the cold side. The ladies that took my food order were ok. But the cashier Basilia Faus P is so rude!! I asked for 3more packets of soy sauce and instead she handed me a whole bunch! I asked for the manager and she asked me why? Like really! I asked her cowrker and she acted like she couldnt understand me. But i think her manager was within ear shot and she heard and she apologized. I could tell she wasnt happy with her employee. Just because the manager apologized if not id give the place no stars!

Not a fan of this place, my brother likes it so I have came a few times with him and I just can't find anything I really like. I'd rather eat real Chinese food, not this poor substitute. Go to China Stix or Lee's Kitchen and leave this place behind.

  • Cari B.

Today was THE WORST experience ever. First off, the was this Chinese woman who was "looking" at the food as she moved between the guy in front of me and myself. When I told I was in line, she acted offended and proceeded to speak to her friend in Chinese. I know you're talking about me lady, and giving me the stink - eye the entire time we are in line only proves my point. When I get up to order, there is no chow mein. "3minutes" No problem, never been a problem before. I have three meals to order, and as I move down the line I notice they are out of every thing. "3 minutes" um, sure no problem. As the food comes out, the girls serving are mixing groups of orders and start to serve the wrong things as they can't read each other's shorthand. When I finally go to pay, I still am waiting for 3 items, at least 3 minutes later. The girl ringing me up is new and forgets to charge me for two items. I, being the honest person I am, tells her she forgot to charge me for the items. So she charges me full price when they should have been at least half. "Oops, sorry." PROBLEM. I have to ask for a manager. Who first tries to argue that the items are single orders. No Miss Manager, your newbie messed up, and I'm still missing 2 items from my order. "$2 back" REALLY! I could have had them for free, save for my own big mouth. Really, it was a missed opportunity for you, Miss Manager, to make it all right. BTW still missing 1 item. "You go ahead and write about it." NO PROBLEM. 2 stars cause I find it funny now, even with ole'stink eye in the background.

Service was ok! Love coming to this place! I came in today and tried the kung pao chicken, bought it went home and then i realized it had peanuts and im deadly allergic so i went back and complained, i asked for the manager and told her my problem and she handled it very well. First she said ok i see your problem but theres a sign on the window covering the food, i looked and there was no sign then she pointed to another sign which said any food may contain nuts and or allergens. And i was thinking what the hell! I told her that i didnt know that specific item had nuts and said the staff should tell someone that it has nuts before they order it when the title dosnt include a nut name. So today i could have died :( but in the end she handled my problem very well she got another plate for me without kung pao chicken and was very friendly. She said she would speak to upper managment and she advised me to do the same.

Not a big fan of Panda Express, but my son wanted it. Surprisingly the line was very long by 6pm on a weekday. Food was typical as any panda, but I find notice they were stingy with portions, just one small scoop of sides. Not sure why, but even after eating, I still felt hungry like I hadn't eaten anything. Prices were cheap, guess that's why it's so popular

    (2)
  • Emilio P.

Call me boring, but I always get the orange chicken here. With the exception of one time when it was a little dry, it is always very delicious. Whenever I want to get some Chinese food that is not totally legit, but tastes great, I make sure I stop by Panda Express! However, be warned that on weekends at around 6-7pm, the line is ridiculous at this location. You have been warned!

  • Scott W.

At 9:00pm I called in to see when they closed, they employee answered 10:00. I show up at 9:30 and they have just scraps of 5 different foods left. And they greet me with a shrug and the comment this is all we have. don't say your open to 10 when your not making food after what seems 9:15. That's for wasting my time and gas. Guess those potstickers I made will be all I'm eating now. #onelesscustomer

I run in for that Honey Walnut Shrimp craving I get SOMETIMES because they don't really serve you that much of anything at all. The rice to me is better than the chow mein. Teriyaki Grilled Chicken is Ma Usual.

  • Heather Y.

High sodium and lots of sauce. If you want to be on the safe side, bring a bag so you can double bag your food. I am glad I did, since when I got home, the sauce was all over the inside of the bag. We are talking sauce everywhere. I was glad I opened up the bag over the sink. The chicken is tender, as is the shrimp, but the Angus beef had some really tough pieces. The cabbage they use in their veggie side is tough. Long lines, good customer service. My three entree plate was $11.18, including tax. They charge $1 extra for each shrimp or beef entree. The server who got my food was surprised I wanted a 3 entree plate (I am petite but I eat like a football player). Parking is shared with Walgreens, PetSmart, and Best Buy.

  • DB F.

Terrible customer service at this location. Went in the middle of the afternoon and the line was very long and the service very slow. I heard someone ahead of me ask about broccoli beef, and a staff person said it would be ready in "4 minutes." About four minutes later it was finally my turn to order, and the broccoli beef still wasn't ready. I was considering getting something else instead, but the staff person didn't even give me the chance -- she just went on to the next person and treated me as if I were invisible from then on. I could see the cook in the back, so I watched him and guessed it would be about a minute for the dish to be ready. That seemed reasonable, so I waited . . . and then he was done, and it turned out he'd been making a completely different dish! (Which, by the way, still had some left in the front ready to serve, unlike the broccoli beef. Whoever is in charge of managing the cooking priorities is doing a terrible job.) The cook then started something else; no idea if it was the broccoli beef or not because instead of being kept updated on the status of my order, I was still completely ignored. So, I walked out. I don't think they even noticed.

  • Jennifer M.

This location offers the same food items as any other Panda Express. The good part is they really pack the food into the containers. I order al a cart items and they press the food in so you get your monies worth. The bad part is the small parting up front. I recommend parking in the back. This place is always busy so parking in back helps you find a spot for your car so you can find your spot in line sooner than later.

    (3)
  • Meghna S.

Eh...no. Limited veggie options, but even the limited vegetarian selection did not wow us. The veggie chow mein exuded grease and the eggplant in sauce was too gooey for my liking. The only other options are the fried rice, mixed veggies and the fried dumpling thingie that I wasn't too much taken by anyway. They do have 'do your own combo' options. But the lines are usually long and the servers want you to give in your order even before you have had a chance to look at the choices. So net net, high calorific value for OK fare.

    (2)
  • Corby B.

Their orange chicken is dried and with lots of starch coated. Their angus beef is rough and not tender. Their quality is lower than other Panda Express and have no idea why there're below quality.

For a Chinese fast food this place is good. Quick service and large portions under 10 bucks.

It's a Panda Express, nothing much to say about it. Bejing Beef, Orange Chicken, Chow Mein, sounds good

  • Al S.

The food are consistent with the rest of PE I've been to, which is a good thing... 3 stars. The crew arm a bit more cheerful, including three manager at the cashier station = the 4th star. I come in mainly for the Orange Chicken (what else?). The fried rice is a but too soft and sticky, I'm guessing it was not a regular occurrence. I was in and out fast, the way it should be. It's all good and I'll be back.

    (4)
  • Usha N.

Food is good, but too greasy! Walnut shrimp has only walnut and the shrimp is covered 3/4 with the starch coat ! Vegetables are good, rice is fine! Orange chicken is good! Overall ok place to eat if you need to eat quick Chinese food after 9 pm !

  • Archie G.

When I am in the mood for authentic and delicious Chinese food, I come to Panda Express. Kidding. Well, sort of. The stuff is far from authentic. But it can be pretty good, especially if you are hungry. I'd rather eat here than 90 percent of Chinese restaurants in California that serve up mediocrity by cutting corners, loading up on MSG, and serving "mystery meat." Sometimes, at these mom and pop Chinese joints, I don't know if I am chewing on chicken, pork, or dog. When comes to this Panda Express location, if you can get past the awful parking situation, cheesy décor, and that somehow a "side dish" at Panda Express means 65 percent of your plate; then this is a great place to eat artery clogging egg rolls, orange chicken, and "Golden Treasure" shrimp. In closing, let's play a little game called "just the tip." A quick (diet) tip: If you are on a diet, replace the fried rice or greasy chow mein with steamed vegetables. It's much healthier and will help you get full faster at fraction of the calories. It's only around 70 for the veggies and 500 plus for the rice or chow mein. Wow. Remember, just because you at Panda, doesn't mean you need to be shaped like one.

I usually don't review franchises, but I just need to put a word in for this specific panda. Their service is extra slow and I have never been in there without a line. This is the closest panda to my house, and I usually love going to panda when I want some quick American-Chinese food, but I have stopped going to this panda due to the issues above.

  • Subrosa I.

Contrary to what culinary snobs may aver, Panda Express does serve deliciously gratifying food. True, Panda's fare may not be considered authentic. But, in my opinion, Panda's bastardized dishes are just as tasty as (not to mention much cleaner than) the genuine Chinese cuisine that I have eaten throughout Beijing, Shanghai, and Hunan. But for the skimpy portions, I would give this Panda Express five stars.

    (4)
  • Brooke S.

I hope you aren't expecting authentic Chinese...because thats NOT what you get here. But, hey, i guess it IS fast food. I've only been to panda express once, and i'm never coming again. The line was out the door, they gave us the wrong things, the menu is confusing, there were SO many screaming kids. But the most important is that the food is just complete crap. I'd rather go to InnOut, thanks!

I really want to like this place, I really do. I was so excited to finally see a Panda Express open up in Sunnyvale but after dining here a few times I decided that I would make the 10 minute drive to the Cupertino location. Here is what I cant stand about this location: 1. Rush - they always rush you, jeez please let me look at the selection before asking me, and your first item.. and your second item. 2. Every damn tray is sticky, whats up with that? don't you wash the trays? 3. Seating - this is definitely a hot spot in Sunnyvale and because of that there is never anywhere to sit.

  • Ben H L.

When I heard that Panda gives the option of having mixed veggies instead of rice and noodles, I had to go try. Little did I know, when I got here at lunch hour, P-A-C-Ked. Line to the door. Went up to the front and asked for mixed veggies and they plopped it in the to-go box. They were out of mushroom chicken so I waited for them to replenish it...always go with the most full entree because it's probably fresher. Skip the rice and noodles as they will even further dim down the taste of your entree choices. Flavor wise, not so great. More bland than restaurant style Chinese food but in terms of calorie counting, it is very diet compatible.

Not much to say. All Panda Express are pretty much the same. I always get 2-3 entree plate with half fried rice and half chow mein. Sometimes I get the brown fried rice. I never get steamed rice cuz I can easily make that at home. The workers are really nice about giving out samples. I ALWAYS get orange chicken. Other times I get the chicken and string bean, chicken and mushroom, angus steak and shrimp, etc. Pretty much everything is good. I ALWAYS get pot stickers too. The total is $9 for a 2 entree plate and its a $1 more if its with shrimp. I remember back in the day it was like $6 for a 2 entree combo..... Now its $9!!! Times have changed. More and more expensive. This location they HELLA push the MEDIUM PEPSI or other bottled drinks. I rather go next door to Walgreens and buy a drink for a $1 cuz here it's hella expensive!!! I don't like soda because of the high fructose corn syrup so I always ask for the free water instead. Yeah...I don't like soda PERIOD so I get really annoyed when they HELLA push for it lol. They probably make good money off of that and it's probably something their managers force upon them to ask each and every single customer lol. Overall, I still like this location because it's clean and the workers are nice. Plenty of parking in the plaza. Just be careful when entering and exiting cuz hella cars in and out hella fast all the time and the space is hella small. One time there was no more chow mein OR fried rice and I was in a hurry so they gave me scraps of chow mein....didn't get to enjoy my food....so definitely not a 5 star cuz they said it was a 5 minute wait and I couldn't wait so they gave me scraps of chow main....it was a sad lunch day....I didn't want steam rice....so got scraps of chow mein....

This is the first time I've eaten at this Panda Express. Delicious as usual. This restaurant has quite a few small tables that seat only two people. In the usual Panda fashion they move the customers through the line PDQ. Today I had my usual: steamed rice, Beijing beef & mushroom chicken. Oh, by the way...I used the ladies restroom and when I went to flush the darn toilet the friggin handle fell off. Sorry Panda...not my fault...darn thing just fell off.

Its are peak season at work right now so our Managers decided to hook the crew up with a meal tonight . They went to this Panda Express and picked up a ton of americanized Chinese food . Sweet and Sour Pork ,Garlic Chicken ,Orange Chicken, Egg Rolls ,Spring Rolls Chow Mein and Fried Rice. It was a little on the Bland Side but it was fresh and you cant really complain about a free meal LOL.

I came here for the first time today. It was quite empty because I have to take my lunch so early. Service was quick and friendly, but I had to repeat myself several times on my order. I ordered the mushroom chicken and beef with broccoli. Both were literally over 80% veggies, less than 20% meat. Kinda disappointing. But the food was fresh so that was a definite thumbs up

Its worth the money. Not many options when you go with someone who is a vegetarian.

OK-ish chinese food. I was kinda ticked off here when I went. I had never come to this location before and I ordered just three large boxes of chow mein, nothing else. yet the server behind the counter thought I wanted a 2 entree meal and I had to tell her again that i wanted THREE large chow mein in boxes, nothing else, and it wasn't until I got home I saw that she had given me three medium boxes, not large. So yeah, not sure how they messed that up when I clearly told them LARGE not medium. Whatever, their loss not mine. Orange chicken is the **** though. Too bad its so bad for you.

Great panda favorites. They keep the food fresh, and always full. Staff is friendly, and samples are a plenty!

I love Panda Express, and this location is close to my home. I come here often, whenever I'm in the mood for Chinese. I especially appreciate the fact that they don't use MSG in any of their dishes, very rare for Chinese restaurants. The food is always fresh, and since this location is very busy - there is decent turnover of all the dishes. Tip: try their Hot and Sour soup - it's really great! One issue with this location is that parking is somewhat limited, and the parking lot is crowded and narrow.

If you go in here expecting gourmet Chinese, back out and go elsewhere. If you're looking for fast casual Chinese steam table, this is a good place to go. The food is usually really fresh, you can see the cooks working in the kitchen, and they have plenty of options (veggies instead of just noodles as one of your required items combo items!) to make most people happy. It is a Pepsi shop, though. *wrinkles nose* No one can be perfect, I suppose.

One of the better or best "fast food" Chinese places around and okay for a chain restraunt. I am just one of those who believes that when you go to a Chinese restraunt or any enthnic food place, that orientation should be servicing you. There is nothing like going to a sushi bar and having a Mexican as a waiter....

The food is always fresh but seems to lack flavor. The employees are nice and the atmosphere is good.

The only thing I can say is poor management. The service here is so slow, and they always run out of the entree items. Food is just so-so once you get it. There are much better Panda Expresses. Parking sucks...Pass this panda up. -Simon the Cat

I must've come here during a slow time (around 11:15am) because there was no wait and I was in and out quick. The food tastes the same as every other Panda Express and the portions seem to be about the same. One thing that really irritated me was there was NO GARBAGE CAN BY THE FRONT DOOR!!! I know that's a pretty minor offense but COME ON! How hard is it to put one there. I had to walk almost to the back of the place to throw my stuff away. Totally lame. Other than that, it's as good as any other Panda Express.

I gotta love this place, it has never let me down. At Panda Express you have your basic Chinese food layout from chow mien all the way down to your egg rolls, beef and broccoli ect ... here is how to order from this place 1) ask for your food to go. This way you can get the maximum amount of panda food. If you eat there they give you this rinky dink plate that only holds half the amount of food the to go box can hold. 2) you are now faced with the drooling decision of Chow mien or Fried rice ......hmmmm just get them BOTH ! ask for the half and they'll know what you mean. 3) now you have room for two entree items. My go to is the fresh orange chicken and the beef and broccoli Some times you'll get the stingy Asian lady serving you up, she never packs down enough panda so you have to let her know whats up and say " ...umm can you put a little bit more of that orange chicken" she'll frown but that's ok its her fault for not giving you enough the first time around. after this satisfying meal you're definitely going to need to unbutton the belt bc you just maxed up your panda meter. on a side note panda express makes great base food before a night of drinking just make sure you give yourself ample time between the panda and the drinkin

Thank goodness for fast food chinese food! lol. Me and my sister- err correction. MY SISTER AND I went to look around for some chinese food thats fast because i had work ahhaha in like an hour! lol. So we couldnt go to a decent restraunt like i wanted to... just decent enough. and LO AND BEHOLD. i see a WONDERFUL SHINING RED PANDA EXPRESS SIGN!! WHOOO HOOO!!!! super excitedddd!!~~ parking sucks.. could NOT find on in the back. but found one in the front. which only has like 8. and there was already like 6 cars. so i was one of the lucky ones hehehhe whoo hooo I go in, theres not a lot of customers but whatever. we came at an awkward time hahah. we kinda had to wait a couple minutes for the first person to notice us to say can we help you? and i was like umm.. gimme like 2 seconds. but they gave me 5 minutes instead -_-. so i was kinda mad (minus 1 star[kinda feels weird to type minus instead of the sign :x]) but i went ahead and ordered TOGO ( hehehehehee a HUGE tip by the way, they pack more food in the togos so make sure you get the togos if your hungry hehehehehehhe) in the end turned out to be like 16 something. -_-. an OK price. but it wasnt that great. so kind of a letdown. no garbage can by the doors... i had to walk to the corner of the OTHER side of panda to throw the stuff away. -_-

They say all Panda Expresses are created equal. They were DEAD WRONG. This location opened closer to my house than the one on Steven's Creek, but the food is just not as good. The orange chicken always has a funky taste and is not consistent. There is always a bunch of old food with no line, or a line out the door and you are waiting 30 minutes for 1 person who is serving everyone. And waiting 10 extra minutes when you finally make it to the register because they don't have any potstickers ready. Meanwhile, you can see about 2 prep cooks in the back reading magazines. Note to management: HIRE PEOPLE WHO WILL WORK. Hire more of them. And people who can follow the recipe Panda probably provides, right? Overall, I will be driving to the Steven's Creek location, even though it is farther. The quality is much better as is the customer service.

Grand Opening for a new Panda~ Construction still taking place next door, the front parking lot seems very poorly designed, if you park along the wall facing the buffet next door, to get out, if spaces are full on the other 2 sides, you have to reverse your car like 35 feet straight back, into the main 2-way El Camino entrance way(?), spin your wheel, straighten out, wow very... strange. I, being a Great Driver.. had no problem with that, but I can imagine the chaos ("Panda-monium") when it gets crowded, and cars are hurriedly entering off El Camino while people are trying to corkscrew out of the lot, oh well. This Panda is smaller than the Steven's Creek one, but bigger than the tiny Westgate Mall one, but of course the same cookie-cutter format. Food was spot-on pretty much, they raised the price of the Panda Feast I noticed, from $25--to--$27, service was good, being Grand Opening the employees seemed extra 'enthusiastic', in their own clumsy way, pro'lly last about a week.

Sadly I did not have a good experience here. First of all I hate how the parking are is in this place, but yes they did pick a good location by having safeway, jamba, starbucks,&& blockbusters across the street. So the reason why this place just did not do it for me was partly the parking lot, the fact that the person who took my order was being slow, and how I had to wait some time to get my change because the girl needed change and she kept asking the staff and was getting ignored. I dont think she even apologized about making me wait for change, but did offer to give my change in mostly ones...pshh no thank you. The food didnt even taste good, it was blah...very little flavor.

Saw this place was opening up awhile back but as I left Best Buy I saw that it the grand opening today. Why they'd grand open on a Friday is beyond me. I hadn't gone to Panda Express in about 4 years and there's a very good reason why. Strategically located across from the healthy Jamba Juice, conveniently placed near Best Buy, and suspiciously right across the parking lot from a PetSmart. Sure the orange chicken is delicious, but where have all the pet hamsters gone? Kidding. Nevertheless, I went in. I had a strange craving. There were an awful lot of employees there, probably 12-16 and about as many customers. The lady before me told the cashier that she had been waiting for this opening for a long time. Wow. I guess in a sad way, I had waited a long time as well, only so I could legitimately yelp this as an FTR without being a doosh that FTRs before a place opens. The food is exactly what you'd expect from Panda Express or just about any other fast food Chinese place. The fried rice was actually a bit dry but the string bean chicken was actually good, the beans were not overcooked. They tried to upsell like mad. Literally, the final woman went "egg roll? pot sticker? another entree? drink? cookie? facial?" OK, I was kidding about the last one, but everything else is true. Basically, it's what you'd expect from a Panda Express.

Dam the lines here was out the door. Service was pretty slow, but probably because of the crazy lines and confusion. It so happens to be close to Golfland and saw this place as I was making a U turn so came here to get dinner.

Oh gosh !!! We used to like the place but after having their orange chicken with bacon we will never go again. We had indigestion the next day. We suffered from food poisoning!! We complained to them about their situation, they ignored us

Ugh Panda Express. Amazingly, this is the first time I've tried this chain fast Chinese food place, and let me tell you, I am not going back. First of all, parking in this area sucks. Second of all, the food is gross. It's an over hyped place and my chow mein was barely edible. Orange chicken is nothing special either. I cannot believe people would want to eat this! Amazes me.

I m big fan of Chinese food. This is as fresh and clean as it gets. I would rather eat here any time than any others simply because you know you can trust that they have high standard of hygiene looking at their kitchen and uniform. I cannot tell you the importance of finding a clean Chinese restaurant to avoid getting sick as too many Chinese restaurants ran a dirty kitchen back there with chef smoking during breaks and cooking your foods off the dirty plates and who knows what else they do to squeeze profit out of the cheap minimally trained labors. I suspect I've gotten sick or nausea many times afterward due to un-sanitary or contaminated foods. Too many people choose orange chicken bu it's fried with fat clogging your arteries. Look for food labeled with SmartWok instead.

I only go to this location when i'm in the Sunnyvale area, when your are finished paying for your food check inside your bag (s) for your fortune cookies, when I got home the fortune cookies were not included. So I'm going to pay close attention next time around.

Typical Panda Express, better than some others. Came late Friday and there was stock in every dish but the orange chicken, which was replaced when I was in line. Food was exactly what I expected, if even a little less salty than some other Pandas, which is a definite plus.

I was very turned off when I to the front of a long line to ask for a SMALL order of steamed rice and I was told that i had to get in line with everyone else. Then when it gets to my turn I ask for the smallest order of steamed rice, the guy fills the box with rice, puts it down and tells me to wait, meanwhile, he continues to take orders from the people behind me and the people in front of me were still picking/choosing and taste testing what they might be ordering. I told the young man that I was not there for anything else and i would like to go ahead and pay for the rice. He said I had to wait, with no explanation. When I reminded him again that I was not getting anything else he got annoyed with me, said he knew and continued to help others. When I repeated again that I was ready to pay while no one else was, he finally said ok, come to the register. When I finally get to the register the lady rings up the the SMALL order of steamed rice for $2.44!!!! I told her she could shove it and walked out.

High quality Panda food, only downside is sometimes they have a beaner chef in the back who doesnt properly cook the honey walnut shrimp but that is rare. Majority of thetime perfect panda food

For what it is, Panda isn't bad. It's "steam table" Chinese. But better than average for that. If you want something half-decent, are in a hurry, and don't want to spend much, give it a try.

Last night had Panda Express for the first time. Can't believe Orange chicken, it's all flour, not much real meat. Firecracker chicken is good, you can see it's real meat. Probably won't go again.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
