Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

i love mombos pizza more than anything!!!!!

I have never been to a better pizza place than mombos. I go there every day for lunch after school. THERE PESTO PIZZA IS THE BEST!!!
(5)Aaron M.
This is the closest thing to a New York slice that you'll find in the Northbay. I'm partial to any pizza place that can pull off a decent white pie. Big ups! Still I'm not too partial to the often disinterested staff, and their asinine delivery radius sends me into a violent, murderous rage (though miraculously I somehow find a way to calm down on the drive to pick up a pie).

Omg, everything about this place is so good. The people were cool, the pizza is fantastic, they have great beer on tap and GELATO! omg yes.
(5)Ashley M.
Yelp says this place closes at 10pm on Sunday but that's only their Santa Rosa location. Their Sebastopol location closes at 9pm Sunday-Wednesday! Consistently cheesy, saucy, friendly and all around yummy. Hands down the best place in Sebastopol to grab a slice or order a whole pizza. Only took 15-20 minutes to order a large on the phone and have it ready for pick up. Everyone is really friendly inside and I've never had a bad experience. I wish they stayed open a little later but that's just me being greedy ;) They also have a location next to the junior college in Santa Rosa.

Eh, stopped here on a road trip in the first part of August. It was a little busy when we walked in, no one to greet you so we figured it out on our own, found a menu, found a table, went up and ordered,1 medium pizza, 1 large ceaser salad with chicken, 1 fountain soda, paid and sat down and waited. Waited and waited, a family watched a family of 5 come in, order sit down and get their food. I went and asked for the fountain drink cup so my son could gte his drink, they wanted my receipt which I didnt get. Then they wanted to know what size I paid for, I had no idea. They gave me a cup and we waited some more. I went up and asked twice for our salad, "its coming", them they brought our pizza to our table. I again asked for the salad, with the same response. They finally bring it in a to go box which was odd because we were eating there. They did apologize, whatever not a big deal, it happens. Maybe if there was a more mature manager to help things stay organized they could manage a little more efficiently, just a suggestion.. The food was ok, just ok nothing special.

Parking is shared with a shopping center, so there is always plenty of parking. It is in a row of businesses, like a strip mall. When you walk in, the aroma floors you. The place is clean, busy, and has plenty of tables and chairs. Its much bigger than it appears from outside. There are lots of employees all happily bustling around. I mean LOTS. Things move quickly, and my order was ready 25 minutes after my phone call, just as I was told. I ordered via telephone, and Darryl/Darrel took my order. He was patient, friendly, and efficient. He knew his stuff! And when I arrived, he waited on me, and was great in person too. Personable and professional. As I was being helped, another guy came over to do something with the cash. He was friendly too. I complimented the place, and both Men were proud and bragging some. I LIKE THAT. Mombo's Pizza is not chewy greasy bread and cheese like I have suffered through before elsewhere. It is REAL pizza. Seriously good, and well put together. I prefer the thinner crust. And Mombo's is thicker than thin, so it does not end up too dry and crunchy. The toppings were generous, and fresh. Mine had yummy red sauce, and the perfect amount. My cheese did not float around on top of, or slide off of the crust. I told them I usually cook at home. They suggested other ways I can enjoy Mombos: they make & sell pre-made frozen pizzas, and sell their Pizza Dough too. Wow, these guys are great! They make good salads, at least 3 kinds, (I had Caesar) and soups too. YUMMY! They sell Pizza by the pie, in 3 sizes, or by the slice. Plus have specials on the menu, and offer occasional coupons for discounts in ads or online. I like this place. I am coming back for more PIZZA!!! Because my Mombo Combo tastes GREAT. I might even stop for just a slice sometime. Although I am looking forward to my leftovers... in fact, I think I will have another slice right now.

This is the best pizza-- IMO-- anywhere. My favorite pizza is one I made up. Mushroom garlic clam in a red sauce with pesto. That is the secret. They put globs of pesto randomly throughout the marinara pizza. Yes it is a bit greasy due to the pesto. The mushrooms- literally covering the pizza- cut the oil but napkins also help. Rounding out the perfect pizza dinner--they probably have good salads-- but I'm talking about moonlight brewing's IPA. I've always loved Brian's death and taxes but I am such an IPA girl that I have a sip of friends black lager and drink all of my IPA.
(5)Steve W.
Great pizza, a little pricy but worth it. The pesto is amazing. Peperoni is great. Even the cheese is good.
(4)Kathy C.
Great service and great pizza. The special is the way to go. The slice if pizza is huge and the side salad was big too. Hubby got a slice and soup. The soup was 16 oz...wow! All that plus an extra slice it was only 18 bux! Guys who work there were friendly and helpful, would go again if in the area.
(5)Annie G.
Mombo's is filthy. The bathroom is dirty, as is the outdoor eating area. If they care this little about hygiene and guest experience, do we really think their pizza is clean?
(1)Marilyn L.
Love this place! Thin crispy crust(for those not so much carb lovers), multitude of pizzas to choose from and a friendly staff. Great area for afterwards shopping. You guys are awesome! PS the cookies are good too:)
(4)Jasper S.
Lacking in ambiance, the service was fast and friendly, and the pizza was both pretty good and a pretty good value. We tried their pizza by the slice - pepperoni, pesto and cheese, plain cheese, and veggie combo. Every slice was on very thin crust (as we happen to prefer) with the pesto and pepperoni slices being a little on the greasy side. However, I think this was probably more a side effect from the insanely thin crust than it was due to excess grease. In any case, they all tasted fine and every slice was about $4. I've come to expect a no-frills atmosphere in Bodega Bay and Petaluma, and this place was no exception. There were only two guys to answer the phone, take the orders, make the pizza, ring people up, and offer up slices, so they were each doing it all. When you walk in, you can see the entire shop - all the way to the stacks of stock in the back. While I'm not put off by seeing this kind of stuff, it still takes away from the experience of eating out. My point is - you'd be perfectly happy eating here - but not necessarily "eating out" here. As long as you go in expecting a pizza shack in a strip mall, rather than a pizzaria, you won't be disappointed.
(4)Teri B.
Excellent pizza! Great crust and wonderful gelato! The staff was awesome. They let me sample some soup because I wasn't sure which one I wanted. Will be back next time I'm in town
(5)Charlotte C.
I really like your pizza but what's happened to the service? It's Sunday, January 25th at 7:27 pm as I'm writing this review. Landed at the Santa Rosa Airport at 6 pm and called in my order as I'm waiting for my luggage. A gal picked up the phone and then was put on hold for a few minutes and then a guy picked up the phone. Ordered my pizza to be picked up and was told that it was going to take 20 minutes. I said that I'd be arriving a few minutes after that since I was coming from the STS airport. The guy said that they would put the pizza into the oven after 5-10 minutes so that I could pick it up in 30 minutes. So I expect my pizza to be ready at 6:30 pm, right?! Got there at 7 pm (an hour after my call), I paid for my pizza that was noted for "Jenny" with my phone number. Guy took my money and said that it would be a few minutes. Waited 15-20 minutes...nothing. Then asked if they had even made my pizza yet. They said "no". Mombo's: you guys need to just tell the customer what is going on. When you take a customer's money, you have to be truthful about how long it's going to take. I stormed out because I was just a little aggro after the long day. Came back because I don't believe in paying for something for nothing. I got my money back but at least say that you're sorry that there was some sort of error on your part. Very disappointed.

I am vegetarian and gluten free so eating pizza out is a real treat that doesn't happen often. Mombo's has a special Gluten free dough they buy that is good. Better than any other I have had. I called in my order. Wanted a large, but gluten fee is only available in small at them moment. When I got there they had accidentally made a regular crust large. Even though they were really busy, they quickly made me a gluten free vegetarian pizza, gave me the $2.00 off coupon for a large, then another 20% off for their over sight. Stuff happens in the service industry. How they made it right, meant a lot to me. Plus the Pizza was great. I recommend Mombo's for real pizzaria experience with great service too.
(4)M B.
Best pizza in Sebastopol without a doubt! Love a plain old cheese pizza from Mombos. The Wombo Combo is also a delight. Can't go wrong with Mombo's!
(4)Sara A.
Hmmmm....wished I'd liked it more, they are so friendly, and it is conveniently located. But nothing stood out: neither crust nor toppings nor flavor. But I am, admittedly, a food snob with high standards and am used to SF pizza's, which are definitely a cut above Sebastopol's! Lets not even mention the 'real deal' : pizza's in Italy.
(3)Katira C.
Pretty good pizza. Doesn't compare to NY pizza but does itself justice. Prefer to order by the slice than by the pie since its crunchier and better tasting. The pizza pie ends up soggy and sloppy. Not fun to eat and ends up pretty messy. The wait is anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour if you're ordering a pie, so be prepared, especially on Fridays or the weekend. Otherwise, good pizza. Just pricey, as is just about every pizza place in Sonoma county. Definitely not finding the awesome $1.50 slices you get in NYC.
(3)Regina C.
Fantastic pizza. Hand tossed crust, delicious and classic toppings. The spinach ricotta was divine. Decent simple salads.
(5)Issy D.
I love being able to give businesses better reviews! Mombo's worked it's cheesy goodness into my heart. I often get a single slice and they are always so good and so damn cheap. Today I popped in today hoping to get a slice of the cheesy cloud pizza (not the official name but should be considered) This pizza has mounds of ricotta cheese. Like eating clouds of cheese. Hense the name. But nope! They had none D: The workerbee there consolidated me and gave me a punch card pretty much filled out. Swheet. Also left with a slice of juicy veggie pizza. Yus juicy. The tomatoes were so juicy and sweet. That pizza is pretty tasty as well, but no cheesy cloud pizza that's for sure!
(5)Amelia E.
A bit pricey for one pizza but they're so delicious. The crust is unusually thin so I can eat a whole pizza to myself without feeling uncomfortably full. Friendly upbeat staff, would definitely come again.
(4)Colleen L.
Gluten Free pizza crust is AWESOME! So awesome, I had to wonder if it was really gluten free. I am so happy right now because Mombo's Florentine pizza is one of my all time favorite pizzas anywhere!
(5)Angela B.
DELICIOUS as heck! I ate at Mombo's last night and I am already craving it less than 24 hours later. The pizza is great...cheese slices were what we ordered and they came out in a couple minutes, piping hot and ooey-gooey with cheese. The crust is the perfect combo of a bit crunchy on the bottom and nice soft-ish crust at the top. It doesn't get better than this, especially for the price. The salad that I ordered with my slice of cheese was a tad disappointing, because it was stuffed into a small plastic to-go box and had GIANT slices of green-leaf lettuce that were totally unmanageable in the small box, I kept flicking balsamic dressing on my face. Not a good look for date night. However, the tomatoes ROCKED! Also included with the tomatoes and Kleenex sized green leaf lettuce were red onion and green bell pepper. The customer service was good, too. We were really impressed with a particular employee, David, who was at the register. Quick, efficient and knowledgeable. We had the chance to say "thanks, again!" out front as the staff were closing up at 9pm - David made our experience even BETTER by taking a moment to chat with us, answer our quick questions. The whole crew was working hard inside when we ordered but David really won us over when he took a couple minutes to chat. He seemed to be really putting his heart into his job and that is appreciated, for sure. Sometimes, there is just an element of person to person warmth and sincerity that ensure repeat business - add on some kick-ass pizza and it's sure thing.
(5)David G.
Cheese only slices are awesome - others are good but pricey. Crust is great - toppings are applied with the proper restraint. Whole pies are reasonably priced, and the quality is top-notch. Employees can be a bit quirky, but they genuinely seem to have pride in what they do.
(3)Glenn S.
Fantastically executed thin crust pizza. My favorite is the pesto combo- ignore the olive oil and indulge! Add to that fresh salads, good beer selection and gelato, and Mombo's is my favorite Sebastopol spot for pizza. Friendly staff, great music playing, and rides for the kids!
(5)Sierra W.
Mombo's Pizza is so delicious. My favorite thing to get is mushroom, chicken, pesto pizza. They're so generous with the pesto topping, and their pizza sauce is flavorful and perfect. I have no complaints about this place.
(5)Rayna G.
Okay so I'm a little biased because my SIL works here but I have to say this pizza is AMAZING! All the toppings were fresh. The crust was nice and crispy. Danny made us an excellent pizza. I have nothing bad to say about this place. I can't wait to visit again so we can go back.
(5)Megan A.
Loved this place since the very first time and have never been disappointed! Their pizza is so delicious, just the right amount of crisp to the bottom and super flavorful... I usually get a side of pesto and smother each bite in it! Their spinach salad is also one of my favorites with pine nuts, dried cranberries, and feta cheese and delicious vinaigrette! The meal deal is amazing at $20 for pizza, salad, and an appetizer... Doesn't get any better than that!!
(5)Paul G.
Ordered pizza to pick up. They were slammed. Order got lost. The upshot is that they handled it perfectly, gave a discount, upped the pizza size, kept me posted while handling a restaurant full of grammar school soccer players (I think everyone ordered a different kind of slice) and were generally part of what makes it such a pleasure to do business with "the locals". Chicken and pesto pizza (with mushrooms) by Shane. Beautiful thin crust. Just the right balance. Y'all are sweet!
(5)E K.
Update 2/20/15- I had an issue with my price total, I did not understand and thought I was overcharged. I wrote 'feedback' on the company's website and was responded to within 24 hours. My issue was completely investigated and explained to me within the week, including interviews with the staff at the time and a complete look into my order and problem. While I still do not think the pizza is worth the price they charge (and their menu at this point is not updated to disclose that a full salad is twice the price as what is listed on the menu), I can respect the amount of effort management took to resolve my issue.
(2)Maddie G.
Scary looking inside. We weren't greeted once and waited for a good 10 minutes. Te place looked overall dirty and scrungie, like food had been sitting out for days. We ended up leaving.
(2)Ray L.
I know a lot of people that love this place. But for me it just doesn't do it. Kinda greasy and expensive for what you get. Sorry Mombo's I know you have a lot of fans but I'm not one.
(2)Jo N.
This is as close to real Italian pizza as you can get without crossing the "pond", and I'm picky. The "litmus" test for authenticity is a slice of plain cheese. They get it right here.
(5)Sam A.
This is probably the closest thing to a NY slice you can get out this way. It is a favorite stop of mine up to the Russian River.
(4)Kyle T.
I was a little hard on you, I dont know if its in my head but the pizza has gotten better. I love Mombos and If I were being put to death my last meal would be a Pesto Pie to my dome. Im still jealous of the beer. HAIL MOMBOS!!!!!
(4)Johnnie M.
The best pizza in Sonoma County if you ask me! The crust and sauce are my favorite........what's your secret? Now for the staff...............very friendly and professional. It's run like a tight ship...........................and that's a good thing!! Two thumbs up to your management team!!! :)
(5)Victoria V.
Never a bad choice here. Love the Soup and they just added a 3rd Soup on to the menu. It's Spicy- ummmm baby! Green Chili Stew ( and vegan) but the other two are just as awesome!! Awesome pizza!! Friendly staff. Great spot for good pizza that's made fresh and healthy!!
(4)Michael W.
This place in a kinda-country-ish strip mall was a life-saver on an unexpected weekend trip to the outskirts. Drove in quickly, got my slices warmed up and ready to go on a nearby hike with my little explorer. They featured variety behind the plexiglass case, which always helps. I appreciated the Hawaiian triangle of tasty. The atmosphere inside reminded me of spot I used to see on the North Side of Chicago, which was a welcome change from the bakery first, pizza sometimes model here in Northern California. I love pizza, if I could, it'd be my all day, ev'ry day.
(4)Maria M.
Thin crust ny style pizza. I have a thing against too much sauce and this place knows how to do it right! They have a return customer card, which between 2 people we cash in on a free slice pretty quickly. Love their ricotta/red onion pizza!
(5)Q and R F.
Yum! The salads are great. Text them for deals (see website). Saves the budget. Happy! Forgot to mention feed four for 20 bucks. My kids eat the pizza and we share the salad (but I eat most of it!) Yes it is greasy, yes it is NYC style. Let it drip and enjoy yourself!
(5)Kelsey S.
Great pizza! Plain cheese is what I crave, and the pepperoni is delish too. =)
(4)L. C.
My all time favorite pizza....so yummy! Wish they could deliver to my house but it's out of their range.
(5)Debbie R.
The very best pizza around. Great service!
(5)Chris B.
Good pizza overall. It is the thinner, crispy crust variety. They have a nice mix of different types, or build your own. Prompt service as well.
(3)Achilles A.
Great variety - Avg pricing - Friendly staff and great lunch/web specials. If you're a fan of thin-crust pizza, this place will make you happy. Sausage sandwich is cheap and yummy as well.
(4)Melissa M.
Normally I love Mombos, it was busy granted, but your guy, John, older gentleman was so rude!! We are regulars, and our text deal wouldn't go through immediately, he charged us full price, and then our deal showed up. No refund, no pleasantries, nothing. It will be some time before I come back. Update: After writing this review, the owner quickly responded and apologized for the treatment, and offered a free pizza coupon, so....although the service there was poor, I'll still go there, may even participate in the Mombos to Mombos bike ride on 5/4/2013. Thanks Mombos!
(3)James N.
Slice please! 'nough said.
(4)kristi p.
There really aren't many new york style pizza joints lingering in the area of sebastopol, so in my opinion this place is the best they've got. I always go for the slice of cheese. It's always done well (as long as you keep your eye on the people putting it in the oven. they tend to forget and sometimes it gets a little over done). I also really like their caesar salad. Its a good size that allows me to give a few bites to my boyfriend. This place tends to be a little more expensive than a slice should cost, but if you're in the area, I'd recommend it.
(3)alex f.
I found that the crust in the pizza at this place has no flavor and for me the flavor always starts with the crust. Other than that I don't know what else to say except that the place seems busy but to be honest it feels like a dump to me. The place looks dirty, disorganised, cluttered. They give you flimsy paper plates to eat on with dinky plastic utensils that can't even slice. The pizza is not cheap here. A regular size Margherita is $17.25 (according to their web site)...whaaaaat? For a Margherita? That's rediculous. I had a Margherita at Chianti Cucina in Novato for $13.00 and ate it on a real plate , with real knives and forks on a white tablecoth. And...it was 3 times as good. This place is way overpriced.
(2)David K.
I love Mombo's. I am a pizza snob, New Yorker is in my blood. I am very particular when it comes to the difference between pizza and pizza-like-food-substances. You get a real raw deal when you go to Mombo's. The dough is thin-ish, the sauce is pronounced and relevant and the cheese is super yummy. This pizza is great. The staff is friendly. Go here; you will feel loved.
(5)Penguin S.
Wanted to love this more. The girl at the counter was great, saying the slice I'd picked was from the first pie she'd made, since she was new. She asked for my opinion. I got a slice of mushroom and a water. I handed over a five and got a dollar and a few small pieces of change back. To compare, the slices near my house of very similar, New York-style pizza, are slightly larger and nearly half the price. So why would I want to pay nearly $4 for a slice instead of $2? OK, well, I'm not home now, am I? The crust was great. The sauce was mediocre. The shrooms, fresh, were not tasty. I prefer canned shrooms, so when that's all that comes on the slice, it's not tasty. I thought about getting some gelatto, but when looking in the case, it looked like it had melted and then been refrozen. Not appetizing at all! I'll take a pass, thank you. Sorry to say, when in the mood for pizza, I'll keep looking.
(2)Elizabeth M.
An update to my previous post on Mombo's - I actually think their pizza is pretty good (it is the best New York style pizza that I have found in this area), especially when you add the cheese and peppers that they give you. The extra large pizza is the way to go, and until October 10, you can get one for 10 bucks. I still don't think their crust is that great - it's too crunchy - but it makes for a good breadstick when I'm eating my salad.
(4)Johnathan G.
While my girlfriend loves it here, I think it is just good. I attend San Francisco State University and the pieces of pie there are twice the size and half the price, so their approach bums me out. Also, there isn't anything good on the menu besides the pizza. Trust me, I've tried it all.
(3)Miles E.
Pretty damn good pizza if you like the tin crust!
(4)Tori E.
I prefer this Mombo's location to the one in Santa Rosa because its way bigger with more seating. The staff here is great and they are always good at accomodating the lunchtime rush. They seem to have more of a selection on salads and other things like that at this location too.
(4)J H.
Yeah, the pizza was $32 dollars. I'm upping the review one star because they have REALLY good cheese pizza. I still have tons of friends who have received a super salty pizza. But, they haven't messed up a cheese pizza. Keep up the mediocre work!
(2)M. C.
I wrote a review about the one in Santa Rosa, and yea they're great. But after trying the one in Sebastopol, I'd say go here rather than SR. They've been nothing but accomodating to me. They usually give you coupon discounts without having to ask. And their pizza is amazing - foldable thin crust NY style pizza :) Yum. Best advice though -- make sure Jon B, Travis, or Rafael make your pizza. They're the best. The other cooks suck :(
(4)Jessica H.
I love the pizza, as to my teenage kids. I'd give it five stars, but sometimes the staff are a bit abrupt. Granted, most are young, but given they've taken the liberty to blast their offensive music in the eatery, could compose themselves better. The food has never disappointed, and the hurried kids behind the counter really do well considering how busy they are. Which of course, is always a good sign.
(4)Stacey D.
The pesto pizza is five stars delicious, but get it to go. The atmosphere is dismal, with harsh fluorescent lighting, and no decor to speak of. Ceasar salad was good, but very garlicy. Make sure you share it if you're on a date.
(3)Stacia S.
Great service and Delicious Pizza!! We ate there one night during our Bodega Bay vacation and we chose this place based on the yelp reviews. It is definitely a bit pricey for pizza, but at least it's worth it. Hubby and I both got a regular size pizza. Mushrooms and Chicken on mine.... Sausage, Pepperoni, Anchovy on his. Both were thin crust, crispy, and yummy!! The backround music inside is a bit mind numbing, but service and food deserve five stars Definite two thumbs up!.
(5)Lisa L.
Mombo's has the best slices in Sebastopol (by far!). We love love love the pesto pizza there~
(5)Bonnie C.
Delicious Pizza every time, one of the few places that the quality never changes!
(5)Ahn A.
I just finished the best two cheese pizza slices in the world. I needed a quick bite and went to Mombo's for a slice and found out they were giving away cheese slices today...all to help the local school music program. I dropped my donation in the bucket. The employees are sweet, and offer you a taste of gelatto while you wait.
(5)Tara H.
Ohhh, I like Mombos! It's best when you are there in the store because it's super hot and the crust is crispy. The store has absolutly no ambience, though.
(4)Elisabeth P.
Omigawd, Mombos makes THE BEST New York-style, thin-crust pizza: Oh my ... the crust is delicately thin & crispy, the tomato sauce is tangy but not overpowering, & the cheese is melted to a perfect golden brown & perfectly distributed (not too much, not too little). For a former New Yawker like me, Mombo's pizza feels like a little slice of heaven. Prices are extremely reasonable. Their $6.99 lunch special includes a slice, salad, & soda. They also have a new gelato bar, and a laundromat next door with a tiny carousel ride that little kids can ride for a quarter. I also love the way they have a cartoon contest for the local kids every year & display their favorites on the walls.
(5)Jason S.
Mehhh, I have had better they re okay.
(3)Drew M.
Best thin crust pizza in town. Tasty and the price is right for a baller on a budget, buy by the slice.
(4)BeGlitched P.
Great pizza! It's a tad expensive and that's the only reason they get four stars. We love their food and would get it more if we could ever manage to get a pizza delivered for less than $35 including tip- we always seem to be drunk when ordering pizza though and then, money doesn't matter, right? Mombo's is the best pizza in Sebastopol!
(4)Mike S.
First: A large pizza should not be over $30. Second: Salt, they must really like it, I dont. One of the saltiest pizzas I have had. Third: Grease was pouring off this pie. Ruined my wifes table cover. She was mad, ruined my pizza enjoying experience.
(2)Lindsey T.
Love Mombo's, come here quite often. They got some BOMB pesto pizza, that's my favorite...throw some grilled chicken on there and its even better. Yes its greasy but it's my guilty pleasure and I LOVE IT, okay?? Sue me. Lol. Great lunch special, you get a slice of pizza, a salad or soup and a soda for like...$6.99 I believe? Staff's pretty cool, I minused one star because the older guy that works there is kinda rude and abrasive, not very friendly and I'm definitely not the only person that's noticed...he needs to chill out and smile a little! Don't know what's up with that but it's whatever. Not gonna stop me from comin...lol. Keep up the good work Mombo's!
(4)Bob T.
Good pizza when fresh. New York style when done right is really more like the good Roman or Neopolitan style I've eaten in Italy. The bread is ok. When served fresh its a solid 4, especially the Pesto. But, never-ever order by the slice. Reheated cardboard cooked..... Buy whatever just comes out of oven, otherwise go microwave a Safeway pizza.

Love Mombo's! I stop by here every time I am in the area. :)

An oasis of great NJ style pizza. Nothing else in the northbay as authentic east coast pizzeria. Topped slices to go, NOT added raw toppings on a slice. thats gross.

Second location for one of the best NY style pizza's in NORCAL. It has the thin hand tossed crust, great sauce and big enough slices to fold. My favorite is the Pesto but the others are also very good. Great pizza of this style is actually really hard to find to enjoy it when you find it

Mmmmm! Last night I tried the Florentine for the first time and it was fab. I'm all about going to pick up the pie versus having it delivered...I like it hot! This is a great pizza with tons of spinach and fluffy flowers of ricotta chesse. It doesn't have the red sauce so don't be concerned when you have an all green and white pie. Anyway...loved it!

I am rating their delivery service because I have never eaten in their restaurant. They have great pizza. One slice is usually enough to fill me up. Reasonable prices. Delivery is on time.

This is our go-to place for a quick weeknight dinner when neither of us wants to cook. The large Greek Salad is plenty for two and slices come out of the oven piping hot, crispy and yes, oily. They're supposed to be that way!! Great for a cheese slice to go after work - take it out on wax-paper only and it feels almost like being in NY.

To go stuff is really not impressive, especially compared to Mary's just down the street. Soggy and not super fresh toppings. I would go again, but it did not wow me.

Not a fancy place. They have yummy pizza. They have yummy beer too. They have specials if you're trying to be thrifty. My fave is the mushroom cloud pizza. Not on the menu but so good, ask and they will make it. The gelato is good too. Small town vibe, good enough for me.
