Sort of weird decor but their food and atmosphere is good. It is Saratoga after all I guess :)

I have never been to a fondue place so I have nothing to compare this too. Clean mind. This place was awesome to the awesome power. It is pricy so be willing to fork out some money! I went in a group of four people and if you do the meal for two it was totally enough food for four people. You get a cheese, meats and chocolate. Everything was delicious and savory. Also mon, tues and wed is a free corking so being a bottle and they will open it for you. We did! I would love to go here again. Also I believe our waiter was Alexander. Shout out to him..... he was great=)

Made reservations for New Years Eve at 9:15PM. Called on the way to let them know we were running 5-10mins late. Was told our reservation would be canceled if we didn't make it within 15 mins. We sped along and arrived at 9:17PM and then waited until 10PM to get seated!!! They were not proactively attentive or apologetic. :( They planned their schedule so poorly, and then the service was slow, so accordingly got stuck still at the restaurant at midnight with maybe 2 or 3 other tables filled. Not where I planned to ring in the NY! Plus the food was totally meh. The only positive was the chocolate fondue- very yummy and the ONLY reason I would ever go back.

I guess this is a staple of the of the Bay Area that I've neglected to visit, but fortunately the gf took me here for my birthday. Unsurprisingly it did not disappoint. The decor in this place is truly out of this world. Lamps made up of fake plastic AK-47's? Now that takes some balls. Have you ever wanted to stare into a fake rhino head as you ate your meal? Then this is the place for you. Get the four course meal for two. Believe me when I say don't make the mistake we did and add more meat. I can't remember the last time I was so stuffed. The salads are huge, lots of cheese, lots of meat and lots of chocolate. You will not leave here hungry. We tried the cheese that had the words "caution" next to it and it had a very unique and strong taste. It had an acquired type of taste, but I really enjoyed it. Still, heed the words of caution next to it. Also had the wild one meat platter. I can now say I've eaten alligator and kangaroo. Never thought that would happen. Either way, if you live in the Bay Area, this should be on your bucket list. You will never have an experience like this unless you live in Australia.

This was my first time at la fondue, my co workers and I were super excited to come to this place. We made reservations and were seated outside- Service-first mistake was instead of the waiter asking me to move from the spot I was sitting he kept reaching over to turn on the gas/ heat. After the 2nd time I moved myself- but I felt it was common sense to tell me before I sat down. Also out waiter said he would come back And check on us and never did. We would have liked him to go over the la freak plate again. Overall Service 2 stars. We ordered pesto cheese, la freak, and the amaretto chocolate. the pesto cheese/ appetizers- 3 stars La freak- I have never tried kangaroo or antelope it was amazing to have so many different types of meats all in one serving. I like the idea of grilling our own food choosing our own sauces. My only complaint is that they should have had labels for all the meat types. After our waiter went through them- it was hard to remember we were eating. I would have enjoyed the meat more knowing what I was eating and if I like koala or alligator. 4.5 stars for the variety of meats. 1 star for how it was explained/ no labeling. Desert- 4/5- foodporn to my mouth :) the little rice crispy balls were my favorite along with the cookie dough. Favorite part if the experience. Plus we used our yelp 61% off with wine! Overall experience 3.5

I love this place. The service was great and the food was just amazing. I actually found this place on Groupon that included wine, salad, cheese fondue, le freak cest chic (a taste of EVERYTHING; original cost would have been like $300). Our server checked up on us quite often to make sure we were ok and even had little laminated cards with what meat was given as a reference. He even let us take a sip of wine before pouring us the glass just to make sure we liked it. ***From reading the reviews before, I took my chef salad to go just so I wouldn't be too full before getting to everything else***. I picked the cajun/bacon cheese fondue and it was quite amazing. Our server also offered us any additional sides for starter too which was nice. The Entree was Le Freak, it may not look like it a lot but there was just so many flavors and textures to simply enjoy. There was about 6 different dipping sauces (none that could go wrong). You also have the option on your cooking method. We went with the grilled method and loved it; the waiter also recommended it too. The dessert was a chocolate fondue. You had the choice to either make or build your own or choose one that was already pre-build. We made our own and the variety of food to dip with ranged from snickers, marshmallows, cream cheese balls, cream puffs (definately a favorite), fruit, and cookie dough etc. Just like the starter, if there was more of a certain item you wanted then the waiter offered to bring out more (unlimited add!). My friend and I definitely had a great time here with both the service and food and will be coming back (maybe if we find another groupon or a special occasion). We even took about 3 hours enjoying everything! Great atmosphere and music too! I would suggest you also make reservations beforehand too just in case.

La Fondue is one of my favorite places to go and it pains me to give them such a low rating, it really does but let me tell you why. This is my second time coming to La fondue, the first time was with my bf's parents, this time was for my boyfriend's bday. We show up and before we are even seated the concierge tell us that the bathrooms are broken and that the restrooms are located in a Chinese restaurant across the street( Already an inconvenience to be waiting). We were both seated in just a few short minutes leading us to the Speakeasy inspired room. When asked before ordering we told him about the check-in on Yelp, assuming he understood after reading the check-in discount we continued to order our food. Appetizers: -Chef Salad (BF's choice) -Spinach Salad (spinach, feta, red onion, mushroom, sunflower seed, cucumber, enwrapped in a lemon tarragon dressing) -Cajun Fondue( cheddar, shrimp, cajun spices, hot sauce) with an assortment of bread, fruit, pickled vegetables and fresh vegetables The salad was a bigger portion than thought of which could have easily feed two people. The dressing was delightful and played off of the nuttiness of the sunflower seeds. The cajun fondue was delicious! Although the shrimp were so tiny it was near impossible to find them. Main Course: Le Freak Combo( a sample of all the meats they carry. Alligator, Bison, Boar, Antelope, Shark, just to name a few) cooked on a preferred choice of grill in order to distinguish the unique flavors of the meats. At this time is when they would bring out a bottle of desert wine or champagne which is included in the meal, our server never brought it out! He failed to notice through our entire dinner even though other tables who were here for the same Yelp deal got their complimentary spirits. And when not only one but two nearby waiters asked us to hand them our salt and pepper shakers as well as our sugar tray to take in to storage, let's just say it made our "romantic dinner" not so romantic. As for the Le Freak course it was exceptional! The different meats were all delicious. My favorite was the antelope, colossal shrimp, lamb, and shark. Desert: The Decadent One Fondue. (Milk & Dark Chocolate, Cinnamon, and Espresso) with a small assortment of cookies, marshmallows, fruit, and candy. The decadent one is the perfect name for this because it was so rich! I loved it. The only downside was that our experience was slightly sour because our waiter just left the chocolate fondue there boiling away and than 5min later arrived with our dipping assortment. By the time our waiter arrived our chocolate was already slightly seizing up so we had to eat fast. We noticed a younger Asian waitress being so attentive to her customers throughout their meals, both my boyfriend and I agreed we wish we had her as our waitress. And remember when I said I assumed the waiter knew what discount promo we were using? Nope. I later found out he used a LivingSocial promo which is slightly more expensive than the Yelp promo. All in all it seems out experience was duped by a waiter who looked rushed and non-attentive to the customers. As for the service I'm pretty sure it was just our waiter who lessened the experience but other waitresses and waiter looked helpful than our own. Yet with that distraction put on hold, the food was superb! I say come back here for the food time and time again.

I absolutely fell in love with this place. Everything from the decor and staff, everything tied together very well. Ive now been here twice and I do have to say that my first visit was the best. The first time I was sat up front and felt very classy and 5 star like. The second time I was here I was seated in the back where there were bigger groups with kids which did take away from the relaxing environment. It was still a great time and was still very happy to have my chocolate covered strawberries.
Simply AMAZING! Most favorite place especially for date night. The ambiance is amazing along with the food and wine! Will go any chance I get!

Very good and fun. The staff were excellent very helpful and attentive. The food was very tasty. It is expensive, I guess that's why I only do fondue every 6 years.

What an amazing experience! First of all, my husband and I are not the type to got to fancy restaurants, so we were a bit nervous at first. We thought since it was our 11 year wedding anniversary, we would splurge a little. Our server was Jessica, and she was awesome. She made us feel super comfortable, and explained everything to us. We had a Groupon for the La Freak, which I highly recommend! We got to try things, I would have never ordered, and we loved all of it. (Even my husband who was not too thrilled to be there at first) The atmosphere was awesome, it was dark, and they had some pretty awesome music playing, way more modern and casual than I had anticipated. With all that said, we will definitely be going back!

My friends and I came here for dinner a couple nights ago and it was a great experience. To be honest, I've never had true fondue before. I've had a chocolate fountain fondue at buffets where I get to dip marshmallows, but it's definitely not the same. This was amazing. We ordered the pesto cheese fondue which was a mix of basil, swiss cheese, lemon zest. It was so good. The cheese melted to the point where it was gooey, perfect for dipping. The fondue came with sourdough bread, cherry tomatoes, roasted potatoes, garlic, apples, grapes, broccoli, carrots, and pickles. We were also able to get seconds of the food. I loved that the pesto fondue was creamy and not overwhelming in flavor. By the time we finished the pesto fondue, I was starting to get full, but there was no way I was going to pass up on the chocolate fondue. My friends and I decided on getting just the half pot. We ordered the Danger Mix, which is a selection of dark, milk, or white chocolate with English toffee bits. We chose milk chocolate. I loved the chocolate fondue. It was the perfect amount of sweetness and toffee bits made it even more amazing. However, I didn't like all the sweets we were given to dip with. The plate came with marshmallows, Snickers, Rice Krispies treats, grapes, apples, strawberries, cream puffs, bananas, cheesecake, and cookies. The fruits were amazing as dippers but some of the other dippers weren't as great. The Snickers might have been taken from the refrigerator because they were hard. The center of the cream puff was frozen. Overall, I thought I had a fun and wonderful experience here. We sat in the patio and they turned on heat lamps to make sure we were warm enough. The servers were friendly. The food was pretty good. And it's not too expensive if you're sharing with a couple people. I went with two friends, no reservations, and we were seated right away. We ordered the pesto full pot which was $25 and the chocolate half pot which was $22. As much as I love chocolate, I don't think it's as worth it to get here. But definitely try the pesto fondue. If you go with more people, you can try more types. =)

Finally made it down to La Fondue in Saratoga. We ordered the following: - Cheese Fondue - Pesto Cognac (Swiss Emmenthaler & Gruyere, Wine, Pesto) - Chocolate Fondue - Milk Chocolate & Chocolate Fudge My take on the Cheese Fondue: The server made the fondue right in front of us, starting with some water, a generous spoon of garlic paste, tons of grated cheese, and the pesto sauce (which I assume had the wine). I was worried that the pesto would be too rich, but the mixture was just right and absolutely breathtaking. In it we dipped french bread, roasted garlic cloves, cherry tomatoes, broccoli, roasted baby potatoes, gherkins, pearl onions, apple wedges, and grapes. Although we were technically eating a vegetarian meal, the cheese was so savory that meat felt completely unnecessary. While it looked like a ton of cheese, it actually disappeared rather quickly, unfortunately before I was full--luckily the dessert course took care of this. My take on the Chocolate Fondue: In this cauldron of chocolaty goodness we dipped bananas, cream wafer rolls, rice crispy balls, cinnamon chocolate truffles, pound cake, cookie dough, cream puffs, & strawberries. I learned an important life lesson that evening--that bananas, cookie dough, and cream puffs dipped in a milk chocolate fudge fondue are holy creations. By the end of this course we were fully satiated and satisfied. All in all: A fun niche meal done properly, making me long for Switzerland.

This is the perfect restaurant for celebrations. The food is always bountiful, its a question of what kind of meat you enjoy eating or how interested you are in trying something new like wild boar or bison. I love the Cest la Freak dinner and its extra great with the groupon or living social special price. Well worth it! For a family of six with 3 big teenage boys we buy the big dinner for 2 and only add an appetizer fondue and an extra dessert. And we always have something to take home. The one thing we never take home is the dessert. Even after being stuffed with great food and wine we can finish off 2 chocolate fondues. We keep asking for more goodies to dip until the chocolate is all gone. My favorites are apples and creme puffs for dipping. There is a special where late at night you can come in for chocolate fondue but space is limited. I want to try this for my daughter's 18th birthday

I love the decor, my husband thinks it's cheesy but I don't. They have great salads, and how can you go wrong with cheese and chocolate? I even got my cheese hating husband to enjoy it.

My boyfriend brought me here to celebrate my birthday this past weekend. For a Sunday night street parking was relatively easy to find - we parked less than a block away. We did have reservations but probably didn't need it. We ate with the Fondue Combinations menu, which includes an appetizer (cheese fondue, served with bread and select veggies and fruits), salad, dinner (an assortment of meats/vegetables), and dessert (chocolate fondue). I was most impressed with the selection and quality of meats, especially the exotic choices! I wish we had gotten more veggies with the cheese fondue, and I would love to try some of the other cooking options (we chose Grill, but the lobster bisque was so intriguing). We chose the Fondue Feast option, which allows you to choose two items per column (one expensive, one mid-range, one less expensive) on their menu. They did have some additional a la carte items that could be ordered in addition to the main course selection, including some that were not available from the Feast options - Kobe Flat Iron, Lobster Tail, and Snow Crab. The portion sizes were a bit small for the price, but the dipping sauces were great (lots of variety and taste) and again, I definitely can't argue with the quality of the meat. I definitely LOVED the chocolate fondue. We chose the Chocotastic fondue (Dark Chocolate, Hazelnut Mousse, Mascarpone) and got a small plate of dipping items that included strawberries, rice crispy treats, pound cake, bananas, and other sweets. Because we were celebrating my birthday the restaurant also gave us complimentary bubbly. The service was adequate but nothing special, and there were some things that seemed oddly stingy. 1) We weren't told that the sparkling water would cost additional; 2) Soda was out of cans, so they charged us per-can; 3) We got unlimited dipping items for our chocolate fondue - sort of. We couldn't ask for a full plate of items (additional $7 charge), but we could ask for specific items without extra charge. Especially with the drinks, even if we're going to be spending over $100 on the meal, I still want to know when the items that are offered will cost extra / are not complimentary. Overall I was really pleased with the experience and ambiance of the restaurant. Between the two of us we spent just under $150 (including the tip), and though I really enjoyed it, I don't feel like it was worth quite what we paid. Still, it was wonderfully romantic and such a lovely experience for a special occasion. I would definitely come back again.

We came here for my daughter's 18th birthday celebration. They were very accommodating in arranging a table for her and her friends, separate from where my wife and other daughter were. So, we all got to enjoy our respective parties without any of the awkwardness that sometimes occurs when dining with your daughter's teenage friends. Allison took very good care of us, explaining the whole process and recommending some of her favorites. The decor was a mixed bag of different themes which worked for them. The food was plentiful, delicious, and unique. By unique I was referring to the availability of wild meats (kangaroo, alligator, buffalo, etc.).

We used to come here all the time for a friend's birthday every year. The house drinks are really refreshing, and there are so many different varieties of fondue dips and items to dip. My friends alway get chocolate fondue which is good but I prefer the pesto cheese fondue. It's very filling and satisfying. Prices are very steep but its a dining experience and you get high quality food so I get it. We never have trouble finding parking, getting a table, or having bad service. Plus the interior is eye-catching and every room is different so it really gives off a great atmosphere.

I was given a gift certificate and took my wife on her birthday. We didn't know what to expect but it turned out to be a wonderfully, indulgent experience. We had the "Le Freak" combo which is a taste of everything, including a delicious salad, cheddar bacon fondue, a meat fondue feast and yummy chocolate fondue for desert. It could easily feed 3 hungry people. The decor was elegant, yet creative and Kim our server was fantastic too. It was a perfect way to end my wife's wonderful birthday. Thank you La Fondue!

I was missing out on this great place all this while. Last night we went here for desserts. Our waitress was very nice, and she gave us a good readout of how things work. The chocolate and the plate of items to dip into it was both great. A different experience, and something i would surely go back to again.

Dark romantic ambiance. Some staff matched the atmosphere and some seemed like untrained teenagers. Not a good plave for vegans. The dessert was great. Wine was great. Salad was great but it's half cheese. Don't think I'll be back.

It's been years since I ate dinner here, so I got my family to come here for my brother's birthday dinner. I really really really love this place, and I would come here every day if my wallet and body could afford to. I want to continue bringing all my family and friends here! - Appetizer: My parents, brother, and I ordered two Fondue Combinations. For the cheese, we got 4 Cheese and Cajun. I highly recommend the Cajun. You can choose how spicy you want your Cajun cheese to be (on a scale of one to ten). - Salad: We all got the chef salad, which was AMAZING. BEST SALAD EVER. Because the salad was so good, my brother had really high expectations for the rest of the night. Can I go back for just the salad? I got full off the salad and appetizer. - Dinner: We ordered La Romantique and Wild Thing for our meats and cooked them on a grill. Although it was fun trying out alligator, antelope, buffalo, venison, and wild boar, I don't think I'll order Wild Thing again because some of them are a hit or a miss. I really liked the Black Angus Filet Mignon that came with the La Romantique. Next time I come, I want to order just the filet mignon! Sooooo soft and askfdlajwlkejfklasjf. - Dessert: We got Flaming Tortoise and Chocotastic. Both were amazing! I was somewhat reluctant to order the Chocotastic because I'm not a fan of dark chocolate, but I decided to trust my server... and I ended up really enjoying the Chocotastic! My favorites were the cream puff and banana!! I love how you can ask for more of your favorites. The servers weren't stingy about giving out more of our favorites. I like the location of this restaurant too because after we finished eating, we walked around Downtown Saratoga for a little bit to help our digestive system. Service was amazing... very polite and respectful. Always came by to check up on us. I freaking love this place!! Bring all your family, friends, significant others, co-workers, etc. here!!!

This is an absolute favorite. Food is fantastic, atmosphere is great, service is great. Only complaint is sometimes it can get a little noisy in some parts of the restaurant but you cant beat the food. Love going here with friends!

I have actually never been to Saratoga before, the place is located in a pretty nice little downtown. First went into and it was really dark but was greeted by the host and he is extremely friendly. The bread and cheese, we go the cajun cheese to start off and it was delicious! The hint of spicy is great as it was not too heavy on either the spices or the cheese itself. We also got the chef salad, it was very fresh and filling! We go the feast combination option and choose several meat of our choice. I got to admit this is probably the weakest point of our dinner. we go the Polynesian chicken and teriyaki sirloin, these two are probably my lease favorite and I didn't like too much at all. The second choice of meat we go was, scallop and tiger blue shrimp, and surprisingly those two are my favorite choice of all the meat I got. the third choice we got the black Angus meat and the kobe flat iron. These meat were good, but it was really hard to tell if I either ate the meat raw or cook as it was really dark, especially the table we were sitting at. we then got our chocolate fondue, but I am clueless which one we got, all I know our was on fire so we could make some smores, which was AWESOME! our waiter I believe his name is Nathan was very friendly, and explain very well how to order from the menu. Overall, for what we ate and service we got, the place was really reasonabily priced.

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday this year. I was very impressed with the atmosphere: romantic, relaxed ambiance, unique decorations, and a different theme in every room. A great place for a date, a special occasion or to really impress someone. The salads are amazing! Very fresh with a lot of cheese, flavor, and delicious dressings. The dessert was absolutely to die for!!!! We got dark chocolate fondue and they bring out a platter of different things to dip it in. Dipping the cream puffs in it was pure heaven in my mouth. I love how your server will bring out more of your favorites, so of course I ate like 10 chocolate covered cream puffs. Service was great as well. However, I am only giving this 3 (maybe 4) stars because not ALL the food was as amazing as I had hoped for the VERY expensive prices! The cheese fondue was OK. It had a funny after taste but wasn't bad. I did like how you get to try different types of meat that you wouldn't normally eat like antelope, shark, alligator etc but it definitely wasn't the best meat I have ever had. I didn't like how I had to cook it myself: Some pieces I burned, some I undercooked. It was just OK tasting and extremely expensive. My boyfriend absolutely loved the meat and fondue though. I would come back for dessert and the salads. The meat is just too over priced; not very flavorful and should be cheaper if you have to cook it yourself! If we are going to spend $100 on meat I would expect it to be so flavorful and cooked perfectly to where it would melt in my mouth. Love how unique this place is though and was overall a good experience! To sum it up: Salads and desserts: AMAZING! Atmosphere: Great, Unique! Service: Great! Meat: OK/Expensive Cheese fondue: OK

My fiance and his son wanted to try something new. We decided to try this restaurant, and it was an amazing experience. I absolutely love the ambiance and the food. The whole experience is fun and interactive, and I fell in love with this place. It is pricey, but it is worth every penny. It was a ton of fun to go with my fiance and his eight year old, but it could also be the perfect place to enjoy a romantic dinner for a birthday or an anniversary-or just because!

First time coming here. Loved it! We got the spinach and Chez salad. I liked the spinach better. Gf liked the Chez so it works out there. We were recommended the Cajun cheese which we were glad that we got. Now for the main course. We chose the Terriyaki Sirloin, spiced fish (which was shark for that day), Wild Boar, Scallops, Kangaroo, and Alligator. I enjoyed all of the meats except the kangaroo which wasn't terrible but just was not that good. The Kangaroo was too gamey for my taste. I highly recommend the Scallops, Terriyaki Sirloin Spiced Fish, and ALLIGATORRR. Would come here again. It is a little on the pricey side but quite delicious. This place is off of hwy 9. Bonus points. Enjoy a cruise afterwards.

We came here tonight to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and early valentine's day. We ordered the fondue feast for 2. As part of the feast we ordered the stinking rose, 2 chef salads, six different meats and dessert. Salad: Big portion, lots of cheese, delicious dressing (sweet and sour w crumbled blue cheese and honey mustard) and the chef rolls were a great addition. Fondue: We had the stinking rose which was 2 types of swiss cheese, garlic and white wine. We thought it was good though personally I found it to have a bitter aftertaste =\ We were given bread, veggies and fruit to dip. Meats: We ordered the polynesian chicken, Japanese korabuta, kangaroo, tiger shrimp, alligator tail and wild boar. The alligator (marinated in a chipotle barbecue sauce) was the big surprise- it was our first time trying it and we both liked it very much. The korabuta (Japanese pork) was also great, very tender. The kangaroo tasted like beef to me but we just couldn't get over the fact that it was kangaroo :( All the other meats were pretty good! Dessert: We had the Chocotastic with added white chocolate. We were given a plate with an assortment of treats to dip, including cream puffs, banana, cheesecake balls, pound cake, strawberries, cookie dough and much more. It was so freakin delicious. They even offered to bring us an additional serving of our 4 favorites :) Service: Amanda, our server, was very nice, attentive and patient. She was very helpful throughout our whole meal. Overall, it was a fun, adventurous, exciting and romantic experience. We can't wait to go back and try all the different meats on the menu and get our free bottle of wine! :)

I stand by my statement that if the restaurant is not full and you have someone in before the 9:30 pm designated "you can now have a chocolate buzz" hour, staff should accommodate. Whether you knew it or not, your prior managers did allow for such accommodation and it was highly acknowledged by those that were seated earlier that it was a nicety. Tips were bigger, more alcohol consumed. That business practice is much more effective than haughty managers who look down on the hopeful patrons. I know of no other restaurant in the South Bay that would tend to suggest ensnaring patronage in their in house rules is a way to ensure repeat customers. Your website doesn't have dinner versus dessert hours and open table doesn't do that job posting it for you. You make the assumption everyone knows and needs to abide by your rules....which isn't an effective business practice. A majority of the negative reviews for the past several years have been from 10-15 year patrons who have been treated like garbage by staff and dismissed. These long standing repeat customers are the very patrons that spread the word to go to sleepy town Saratoga for this restaurant. Prior to the use of the internet it was their fan fare that brought forth publicity that the business was built on. It is disappointing that this loss is not looked into with more consideration. If you want to have rules to ensure that your restaurant is using effective methods to maximize profits I understand designated dinner hours. But I also understand losing business because the rules are not effective in light of the current circumstances. La Fondue was not turning away hundreds on a Wednesday night. If it was as popular as the reply tends to suggest the website would be updated and a second location opened in the last 21 years of business. Many failures stem from the hubris of the owner. The buck stops there.

Took the wifey here for our 4 year anniversary since she's never had fondue EVER! Muggy & rainy weather, so it was darker than usual. Slightly had trouble finding the restaurant but we were lucky enough to have a nice couple point us in the right direction. So we find parking and walk up towards the restaurant ... But we couldn't exactly pinpoint where the entrance was. The wet weather wasnt making the situation any easier. At Last we make it inside!! hooray!! Lighting didn't get much better when we got inside. It's quite similar to the hollister clothing company feel. Maybe it'a their way of trying to be romantic?! Who knows. Either way, it didn't impress neither one of us one bit. With poor lightning like that, u kind of have to be more cautious as to what you are putting in your mouth. So after kind of a long wait... We finally got seated. (Which is funny because we had a reservation). We didn't know what the hell we were doing since it was out first time and to be honest... Next time we come back, it'll still be that same outcome. We contemplated of getting the Le Freak Cest Chic but ended up opting to pick 6 meats from a list given and ordered Lobster on the side! (It was our anniversary, we had to indulge!!) we got the wild boat, teriyaki beef, filet mignon, kangaroo, and chicken. All the meat kind of tastes the same but whatever! Anyhow, the server wasnt super tentative with us but that's ok. I tend to get annoyed when people overly bug me! They were there to answer any questions and pretty much let us be. Food was fantastic and it was so much fun. Only downside, tables are quite close to one another. It probably wouldn't have bothered me if we weren't places next to an uptight couple who kept giving dirty looks each time we took pictures of our food that came out! Have you people NOT heard of YELP & INSTAGRAM!!? the wife tried to ignore it for the most part and then she couldn't take it anymore and started making loud comments so they would hear. Stay at home if you simply can't stand being around others!! So by then she was annoyed off the ass, but the server came out and surprised her with a flute of champagne! Be sure to give them notice that it's a special occasion... They'll try to make something special happen. They even accommodated me with a flute of sprite since I'm not a drinker at all. LoL. Dessert was amazing. Choc dipped fruits, marshmallows, rice crispy pieces, candy bars!! It's a must try... Even if it's just ONCE!!

Fun food?! What?... Pick up your mini pitch fork and prepare to dip away your courses! La Fondue is a whimsical delight. The place is always busy so RSVP! The service is excellent knowledgable, timley, and friendly. Perfect for a couple, anniversary, groups, even first dates what better way to break the ice then through bread and a pot of Ooh so delicious melted cheese blend. If dipping fruit into Chocolate for dessert doesn't win over your dinner date with sheer childhood delight, you may want to check them for a pulse. Review update :Thanks to the recent Yelp deal with La Fondue I've been back twice for the la freak cest chic. We had the stinky rose cheese fondue , it was pretty tasty but had a bitter after taste( I prefer the 4 cheese and wild mushrooms more.) I went with my sis it was her first time, and she loved the salad she is also pescipalan so she conquered the seafood and I wiped out the exotic animals. We had the XXX milk chocolate am toffee for our chocolate fondue. The deal is awesome because you get the whole shabang and a bottle of wine, we chose champagne to go with our meal. I asked her how it was compared to other fine dining places and she agreed that La fondue tops the list. We planning on comig back for the chocolate fondue! If you want a place to splurge this is the place to go all in, for your self or to share with a loved one. La fondue gets my vote, n money.

La Fondue is remodeled...gone are the days of old school/dark/french...and in with the hip new modern look. We went here on the Yelp deal and got to eat things such as Kangaroo and Ostrich. We love the place and had a lot of fun, but for the price, it's too steep. Would be great if you could find another Yelp type deal. Perfect for special occassions. Plan on being there at least 2 hours for the meal. It's definately a dining experience to remember.

This is by far my favorite place to dine at for any occasion! May I also add that during my pregnancy, I crave this place more than my wallet can handle!! I've probably been to this spot at least five times and counting, each time having been a better experience than the last. Well, only once have we ever had a bad experience, but it was only because we were seated 10 minutes past our reservation time. Being that my boyfriend is a very impatient person, if he was the one reviewing this, he would have penalized them 2 stars :P The overall ambiance of the place is amazing! Dim lighting, gun-shaped lamps, 'funky' wall decor, great music, jelly beans in the waiting room, I must say that I have never seen anything like it! The fondue feast is by far the best deal ever! It came with cheese fondue (we usually get the cajun, never fails!!), 2 salads (I recommend the Spinach salad w/ Lemon Tarragon dressing), 6 meats total, and chocolate fondue. All for $99!! Plus if you like certain dippers for your fondue, they will gladly give you extras of your choice. I tried to be adventurous, but my go-to meats would have to be the filet mignon or chicken cooked on the Euro Grill. I'm not a big fan of the bbq, teriyaki, or mango chutney sauces so I always ask for extra green goddess dipping sauce on the side! As far as the chocolate fondue, we never have the same thing twice, but each combos that we try are delicious and never disappointing! If you're not the daring type, you can always go al carte, which might not be as good of a deal depending on what you choose. I recommend this place to everyone, even just to try it once. Personally, I will always try and make an excuse to dine here whether it's for a special occasion, my birthday, or to bring a newcomer! I love, love, LOVE this place even if I walk out the door 10 lbs heavier.

I have been here three times with my significant other and it is always a treat! I love cheese. If I could thank the universe for providing one thing to this earth it would be CHEESE! Strong cheese, mild cheese, melted, hard, you get the picture. Each time we have gone here we were seated immediately, 2 out of the 3 times we received a free glass of champagne! The interior of this restaurant is beyond compare. It has everything I love. Interesting wall paper, dim lights and Firearm inspired lamps! The music was relaxing. Old school love songs, and smooth jazz, set just the right setting If you are planning on coming here, make sure you starve yourself for a few days before hand so you can eat and enjoy EVERYTHING! My boyfriend and I ordered the "Surf and Turf for our meal" $125 bucks. This comes with the Cheese fondu and dippings, a HUGE and I mean HUGE salad, dinner, and the chocolate fondu! We chose the "Grill" for our cooking method since we had the fast cooking crab. We chose the Tomato Blue Cheese which is melted(Cheddar, Beer, Sundried Tomatoes, and Blue Cheese) AAAA-MAZING!!!!! OMG! OHM NOM NOM!!! We both got the Chef Salad (Romaine, carrots, mozzarella cheese, chef rolls, cucumbers, tomatoes, and mushrooms) with the Sweet and sour dressing with blue cheese crumbles in it) again OHM NOM NOM!! But eaters BEWARE!! This salad is so tasty, but OH SO BIG!! Refrain from eating the entire thing I IMPLORE you! You. Want. To. Leave. Room!!! I only eat about half. The Surf and Turf Dinner comes with (Black Angus Filet Mignon, Pacific White Shrimp, Lobster Tail, and Dungeness Crab Legs)!!! I LOVE LOBSTER and I always save it for last! I recommend you do the same. It also comes with other little things to cook, like squash, broccoli, carrots, etc..and many dipping sauces!! All amazing! For desert! I loved the rocky road and for some crazy and egregious reason they took it off the menu!!! Any of the chocolate fondus are going to be great I'm sure. They come with many dippings: marshmallows, strawberries, apples, creme puffs, rice crispies, etc. and if you run out they ask if you want more of anything...STRAWBERRIES OF COURSE!! You may be wondering if there is enough food for everyone. Now for a small person I can eat a lot and there was DEFINITELY enough for two and then some! All in all a great and expensive splurge for a special occasion or just a night out if thats your style! Try it out! oh and BYOB no corkage fees to bring your own wine on M,T, and W.....

Wow, I LOVED La Fondue! It was just an all around great experience that I would recommend to anyone who's celebrating something special. I came here with my most favorite people in the whole wide world: tall, dark, and handsome boyfriend, best girlfriend, and her tall, dark and handsome too! We had two orders of the Le Freak C'est Chic, and I must say, there was way too much food to eat even though we had 4 people. I wish I had a bigger stomach! Don't take what the server says lightly. The portions are huge, so don't try to eat all of your salad or cheese fondue, and save room for your main course. What made this place really special and fun for me is that it was everything I've never seen/tasted at any other restaurant. Even the salad was special with those cute little swirly rolls in it. For the cheese fondue, we had both pesto and cajun, which were so yummy and delicious. I definitely wouldn't mind eating only the cheese fondue for dinner... As for our super exotic meats, we went with the grill option and the lobster bisque. Grilling is definitely the way to go with meats since it'll preserve the actual taste and cook faster. We got the lobster bisque just to dip our seafood in. The server went over the selection on the plates very carefully, so we would know what we were eating. The only problem was that there were way too many things to remember! I wish they had little flags/tags to mark everything. I managed to stomach everything except for the kangaroo meat. It was so gross that I had to spit it back out, but nonetheless, I'm still happy that I can tell all my friends how cool I am for trying kangaroo, venison, alligator, etc... The best part about bringing our men to eat here? They did all that cooking... HAHA... The dessert fondues were also amazinggggg. The Flaming Tortoise was cool because obviously, it was on fire, but in terms of taste, I'm not sure if it liked that better than the Chocotastic. Either way, you're going to love it, but if you feel like having that extra flare in your meal and you can only have one, I'd recommend the Flaming Tortoise. The dipping options came with pound cake and cookie dough. My favorites! Of course, the service we received at La Fondue was excellent. Our server was really nice and patient... Funny too! Overall, I was impressed with everything La Fondue has to offer. I would love to come back again, but probably without all the exotic meats this time...

My Honey booked us reservations here to celebrate a special event for us. We ate out on the patio with the heaters going. The cheese and chocolate fondue, and the salads were excellent! All the fixing to dips were fresh and refilled when low. My favorite was the Chocolate Fondue!!!! Now the meat we got (chicken & steak) were not so great. Very salty! It tasted like a salt shaker fell on the meat. Service was just ok. Our Waitress disappeared for long periods of time and I had to keep asking the other Waiter for things. Also our Waitress NEVER asked us what we would like to drink. Not alcohol or non alcohol. We were delivered water only. La Fondue did bring out Champagne with strawberries cut into heart shapes on the house at the end to congratulate us on our special event. Really thoughtful and cute! We will go back and try a different meat and request to sit inside and hope service is better.
I had one of the worst experiences at this place! I expected something super fancy considering the prices were so high!!! My boyfriend and I were there for a celebration. The service was absolutely horrible! Our glasses were never filled with water (or wine). Also, if you're a vegetarian, DONT GO HERE! They charge you about 80 dollars for a couple of sliced veggies with sauces and you have to cook them yourself. Overall, due to the sucky service, we had the worst time and paid like 400 dollars to do it! Not worth it at all!

We ordered the "A Taste of Everything" option. The ambience- This is a very nice restuarant and has a young and hip vibe but it is ridicuslously DARK! I could not see anything! We had to use our phones just to read the menu. DISLIKE!!!!!!!!!!! Food- We ordered the chef salad and it was yummy. Lots of cheese and I liked the touch of pine nuts. We ordered the stinking rose fondue and I did not realize it was swiss cheese:( I hate swiss cheese so I decided to change the fondue to the Bacon Cheddar. The server was nice and changed the cheese. It took like another 5-7 mins to make the fondue...GETTING HUNGRY... The server insisted that the grill option was more popular so we listened to his advice. WE WERE WRONG!!!! I thought grill meant that the meat was already grilled and we just had to dip the meat in our fondue. HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO GRILL RAW MEAT IN THE DARK???? ughh i felt like i may have ate some uncooked meat. The dessert fondue was too rich and we did not even get to finish it because we were the last ones at the restuarant. This was a VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE..ESPECIALLY SINCE WE PAID LIKE $250ish +...

Definitely a classy place to take a date...I was very impressed! :) The ambiance was romantic and the staff were very attentive. We were amused to see "Wild Thing" on the menu...alligator, antelope, elk, boar....who the hell eats this stuff? Lol. We went with the "Le Lux" and enjoyed it. The wild mushroom cheese fondue was awesome and plentiful...the flaming tortoise was delish with a touch of peanut butter mmmmm! For our dining experience, I give 5 stars. This is a Posh and Pricey establishment so bring a fat wallet. :)

MY RESPONSE TO LA FONDUE: I actually work in a restaurant, and just because a website says to tip, don't mean you tip. I get tipped, and I don't. People have extra money to tip, and some don't. And then there's the waiters and waitresses' that do deserve a tip and don't. It was not within a minute of her realizing she had dropped off the Wrong bill, she had came to pick up the payment , THANKING US ( so tell me this, how is this her returning Within a minute realizing her mistake ? It's not because she continued to question on how our Bill was wrong.) ( I was going to let her figure it out for herself when there was no payment) but my very kind boyfriend let her know, to her then reply of are you sure. Yes bitch, I am very sure I did not spend 200$ at your restaurant. And in response to her having to payout her 'helpers' boo hoo. $2.00 is what she would have got. Would have, had she done her job right, been attentive , we didn't even get asked how we were doing that evening by her, and looked at the damn bill before dropping it off. We should've ordered the fondue feast with some champagne and really let her empty her pockets with her Friday night tips she made from her other tables. Get a grip. Or better yet, bring Kyle back. He gave way better service which is why he got 30+ tips. GO KYLE!! Simply Fondue will be getting Our business and tips, and even the tips Nicole would've gotten., had she been a good waitress. And just to confirm with all of you, learn how to communicate AND READ, it was not my wallet. I guess your incompetent of that as well as realizing people are going to dine out and when they receive shitty service, they leave $0.0 as a tip to make a point. Did I make mine?!? Yes I think I did. If I did not get charged for anything extra and she fixed the bill why would I complain to management upon leaving? I would simply ,just not leave her a tip as she did not deserve it in my book, who the money is actually coming from. So that is what I did. You see, because it is my money to do with how I please. I find it amusing, u expecting people to open their wallets for you to choose how much you want to take out. I don't tip arrogant assholes who don't do their job properly, I pay bills, and that's exactly what the f.. I did, I paid my bill. I hope ya'll have an awesome night and hope Nicole's pockets aren't hurting.. Too bad. FYI: if your waiters and waitresses are too busy with so many tables to even look at the correct bill their dropping off to their table. Hire more staff, In the 3 minutes she was gone and the wrong bill was on the table. The other party could've dropped 30$ and left and she would've had to make up for the rest of that 200$ bill. So you idiots should be making sure she don't f... up again. (The smile on my face on my way out, was the look of a good high followed with some chocolate fondue , twisted with a horrible waitress , topped off with EXCELLENT bud!!) It had nothing to do with your service. I'm enjoying Simply Fondue as my chocolate go to place.

We did not have a reservation but we when in for a late dessert and they seated us right away. Will be back for dinner soon if they have an opening. Best late dessert and great service.

PARKING street, lots, valet I first came here with my girlfriends for my birthday and have fallen in love with this place ever since. I think the Fondue Combinations For Two is a great deal! I've gotten the Fondue Feast several times. For just $108, you're able to choose 6 different types of meats. SALAD The waiter/waitress start you out with a salad. I've only tried the chef's with balsamic vinaigrette. The chef is made of romaine, carrots, mozzarella cheese, chef rolls, cucumbers, tomatoes, and mushrooms. Their salad plates are HUGE and actually pretty filling, so don't try and finish it! APPETIZERS You're able to choose any cheese fondue, served with assorted breads, fruits, and vegetables. I've tried cheddar, buttermilk, bacon, swiss, pesto cognac, and stinking rose. My favorite would have to be pesto cognac. DINNER (grill) As for dinner, this is what I would recommend from each column: First column, chicken japonaise, teriyaki sirloin, japanese korabuta Second columns, austrailian kangaroo, nor cal lamb, pacific white shrimp, sea scallops The tuna saku is extremely fishy even after searing it. Cooking it anymore and it gets chewy. I've tried the chinoise cheddar and wasn't a fan of the cheese wrapped in meat. I heard the chinoise swiss is better though. Third column, I would recommend everything. DESSERTS The Flaming Tortoise: milk chocolate, caramel, pecans, and flambé (favorite) Butter Baby: white chocolate, butterscotch, pecans, and flambé (favorite) XXX: milk chocolate, chocolate fudge The Decadent One: Milk & Dark Chocolates, Espresso, Kahula, Creme (my least favorite) I wouldn't mind coming to this place over and over again. PERFECT for a romantic date night :)

What a incredible experience! Purchased the Groupon and everything was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend having Brandon as a server, very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. He made an already great evening even better.

Expensive food orgasm. That is all.

Cheese and dessert fondue, seafood, grilled exotic meats that you cook yourself. This place has a fun ambiance and it's an interactive dining experience. Great for date night and groups of people. A couple of friends took us here and treated us to an amazing meal. Chef Salad: The best cobb ever! The tarragon dressing and home made ranch were amazing. Garlic Cheddar Fondue: Awesome presentation. Our waitress boiled some beer and then slowly added shredded cheese, whipping it like she would as if beating eggs. Slowly the consistency started to churn into a thick, golden, stretchy pot of goodness. Grilled Meat and Seafood: Great experience. You take your skewer and say, a cube of say alligator meat, raw prawn, or kangaroo. Sautée it in butter an cook it to your preferred done ness, and then dip it in one of the sauces. Mango chutney was my favorite. Chocolate Fondue: So full, but I couldn't stop at dessert!
