Clearly these people do not care about existing customers. I order on eat 24 at least once a week! Yes! I am lazy and Tired often! It saddens me to write a negative review, however tonight I have too. I waited over 2 hours for mediocre chicken wings and a BURNT pizza. After working a long day I came home early and ordered about 6:35PM. Pizza arrived about 8:40PM! When it says delivery 45min-1hour you expect that delivery window. I have kids to get to bed at an acceptable time. I emailed eat24 twice about my order and waited. Keep in mind they are about 5 minutes away ( yes, I'm lazy) however when I Order I expect them to deliver exceptional service. I contacted eat24 and they said it would be 5-15 minutes... WTF kinda window is that..... Pizza arrived about 25 minutes after contacting EAT24 with burnt pizza!!!!!! As hungry as my family was at this point I did not want to return the pizza, however I contacted eat24 and all they said was they would refund the pizza which has yet too happen. I asked for a cooked pizza not burnt to be delivered & they said Naples pizza could only offer a refund. All my family wanted was an edible pizza. I think this is unacceptable as I order so frequently they should refund and credit me for the inconvenience! This is horrible customer service honestly from both ends. I will never use eat24 again I rather pay a few dollars and get good service with a provider that is customer service based from now on! Trycaviar I will try you NEXT!

I hadn't realized that the place was actually a Guatemalan restaurant. The food is amazing, we order the lasagna, pupusa, and so much food that we were full for the next day. I have gone back to try their shrimp soup, and have to say that it is the best soup I have had. I am dying to head over on a saturday or sunday when they do the specialty soups. So far everything I have tried has been amazing, and I keep coming back to try more. It is really worth the 30 minute drive!!

It's one of those neighborhood pizza places that are good to go to when you're tired and your mind ceases to work (just because..), not part of the hot-spot, hip places! Honest food, good pizza, and quick service. I LOVE! You've GOT TO remember that this is a VERY small establishment, and 2 maybe 3 people in all to run the place - so the wait time. Def' a place to go to for tasty, fresh and good pizzas. Watch this space for more updates about the rest of their food choices.

I had their pupusas which were good. He loved his ham sandwich. I mean who wouldn't like the pan fried ham?! I'll have to try their pizza. Prices = reasonable. Service = friendly, and a totally homey feel.

I ordered online. And after one hour of waiting I decided to call. Something like the fax wasn't working and they didn't get the address correctly, but they didn't bother to call me to check. If I wouldn't called, who knows what would happened. Btw, I'm still waiting at the time of writing this.

I have had some disaster pizza deliveries lately, so I've been looking for a new pizza place to order form and it looks like I've found the place! Delivery was very quick and friendly and the pizza is very very delicious! (I am still eating it as I type). I also love the very diverse menu, so that even if I'm not in the mood for pizza, I can order something else and know I am getting good service. I know for sure I am going to order again!

I love this small family operated , family friendly spot. Pupusas were yummy. Pizza is good too (past visits) and you can get their full menu delivered! They were so nice and helpful despite my 2 year old being cantankerous and having a fit! Also enjoyed their flavorful aguas frescas that had a hint of cinnamon and spice!

Feel free to et their food to dine in. I am sure it is delicious. However, don't get it delivered. I have been waiting for two hours....they are three miles away. I have called twice and each time they said the driver was around the corner. I will still wait for the food but won't order from them again. Unfortunate too since the food is probably good

3.5 stars. Never tried Guatemalan food before so once I saw the yellow plastic hanging sign hanging over the Naples Pizza sign, came back to try with a coworker for lunch. They still sell pizza, which I've had in the past but it's nothing memorable. The owner was friendly except he couldn't speak much English to offer any food recommendations. The food is familiar yet unique. Different from Mexican food since they don't use chilies. * Costillas de res a la parilla ($11) - Marinated and grilled short ribs. The marinade was unique, the beef pretty tender but a little fatty. Tasted ok but wouldn't order it again. The rice tasted like pilaf. ( yelp.com/biz_photos/D9At… ) * Carne asada and chili relleno combo ($11) w/ a grilled chicken taco ($2) on the side - The carne was tender. The relleno came covered in this tomato based sauce that reminded me of Filipino aprtitada. The chicken taco was something like I've never had before. Order this. ( yelp.com/biz_photos/D9At… ) * Pupusa revuelta. Made to order since I heard the familiar slapping of maza between the hands. Pretty good, not oily. The handmade tortillas were like pupusas except not filled. ( * Gautamalan pork tamale.($2.50) Wrapped in a banana leaf, the maza had a soft and smooth texture similar to the Brazilian pamonha. Order this! ( yelp.com/biz_photos/D9At… ) I wouldn't mind coming back to try more of their menu. Maybe if I can convince the owner to make some Guatemalan fusion pizza. He laughed when I said that, I was serious though.

Great pizza (and Guatemalan) food spot in the Excelsior area. It's in a quieter part of the neighborhood, but I much prefer that at times where I just wanna crash in a low-key place after a long day at work. I ordered an XL and man, I got full after 3 slices. I gladly packed the remaining 9 slices back home. A couple things you should keep in mind: - It's run by a handful of people. - If you're using a Restaurant.com certificate, READ the DAMN FINE PRINT. It doesn't apply to delivery orders. Only take-out or dine-in.

First time here and I ordered 4 regular beef burritos to-go for a total of $25.75. There was only a guy and his kid in the restaurant so I thought my order would be served quickly. I was wrong. I waited about 20 minutes for salty burritos (beans, rice, cheese, tomatoes, onions, beef) and chips with salsa. Not going back here again.

Ordered an XL sausage pizza, garlic bread, and some super nachos with horchata for delivery. First of all, they delivered in 45 mins, so two stars for that. However, I told them when I ordered to note what to do at our call box to get into our apartment complex. They didn't follow those directions, and made me go down to meet them on the street. They forgot my garlic bread! They had no "table" on the pizza in the box, and the box had caved in and smashed the pizza when he handed it to me. Pizza was mediocre, and the crust had a weird flavor I wasn't fond of. Couldn't finish it. Also, what's up with impossible-to-open Parmesan cheese plastic packets? The super nachos were practically cheeseless, with a dollop of sour cream in the corner, some beans and dry beef slapped on top, and a healthy amount of avocado slices. I could hardly eat them. The horchata was good. That's about it. I will not be ordering from them again.

Review soley based on he pizza. My buddies order this a lot, but tend to get the works, or meat combos. and the toppings add a lot to this pizza. Fresh and generous portions but... As always A plain cheese pizza is how i generally base my true pizza rating. LEft broken record with a slight buzz and needed some grub before driving. The two slices i ordered where huge, and priced nicely. Came out fresh and service was fine, though the actual venue is whatever. Remodel please. Any ways the pizza is good, though the dough could use more seasoning/flavor, and the sauce was not zesty enough. More of a 3.5. not bad, not amazing

Delivery service was a nightmare. My wife ordered two large pepperoni pizzas from this place. First the only good news.. The delivery was quick and professional. The pizza dough must have been brought in frozen and the pizza sauce was plain. They charged my wife twice for the purchase and when she called to have one of the charges removed they argued with her. They obviously charged her two times for the same amount and they denied doing so... Good thing my wife's credit card company is on top of things and reversed the extra charge. Every time I pass by the business... I see no one in the dinning room. They have more than one telephone number posted for the business. Which number do I call? Just avoid confusion and eat elsewhere.

Nevermind, new owners aren't all that awesome. Tried calling for delivery once and the person on the other end was completely incompetent. Had to take our business to Bravo's Pizza instead. I'm currently eating a pizza from them right now and the cheese will not stick to the crust. AT ALL. Ordered a mushroom pizza and a pepperoni. Both medium for $13. Not bad. They skimped on the mushroom though. My friend mentioned that their pizza tastes like spaghetti.

Delicious home style Mexican food, pizza is also very good. The customer service is friendly. This place has a nice relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back here with my family again.

No stars. but Yelp requires one. Tried to use a Restaurants.Com certificate for a delivery. Requirement on the certificate: Minimum purchase of 22.50. They took my order, I told them that i had a $15 certificate, first they said not for delivery, only take out, but the certificate did not say that, then they spoke with the boss. I asked to talk to the boss they just asked, then no boss there, but must be 12.50 spent before they deliver. I said that is not what they agreed too, they said F*ck You!

Of course this pizza place also serves.....Guatemalan food? Right. My thoughts exactly. SF is bursting with too many food choices not to combine a little Italian and Latin flavor. Considering the name, I decided to go for the Italian side of things. Far from the best slice I've ever had, and you can even say it was a bit deformed looking (somewhere between a rectangle and a square), but at less than $3, it's low risk, low reward, which is A-OK in my book. Now if they were offering Guatemalan slices, then we'd be talking.

Yesterday, my friends and I went to Broken Records for dinner but the kitchen was closed since it was the day after holiday. The bartender suggested that we order food from Naples and bring it over to eat. I decided to get the combination plate and a pupusa. I was full but I was not sure what I was eating. The meal was not very complimentary to each othere. There was some salad which I appreciated but then there is like fried banana, some guac that I don't know what to do with and a piece of salty steak. I really just did not know how they all went together. The pupusa was nothing special because it was just filled with poor quality meat. Next time i really hope Broken Records is open haha.

This place has become a favorite of ours. We can't get out of there without ordering more than we can eat at one sitting because there are so many good options. Signature move: we always get a "slice" (see my note below) as an appetizer. NEW INFO: Chicken burritos are really good. The equal or better of Guadalajara's. Wonderful grilled bits of chicken are toothy. Makes Guadalajara's seem too starchy, really. Not a diet item! Super-satisfying. Chicken tacos are excellent, like you would get from your favorite taco truck. Pan-fried fish (the not-breaded, no empanizado, version) dinner is good. Nothing special, probably tilapia (or papilla, as my spell-check has it: Enjoy the nipplefish!) but good enough that I've had it a couple times. Hate to keep comparing with Guadalajara, which I like and of course isn't even Guatemalan, but their fish dinner was execrable, the one time I dared it. Naples' Spaghetti is abysmal. Sauce: I could see (from the herbs in it) was seasoned, but didn't taste it--too rawly tomato-y. Noodles: Viciously overcooked, and swimming in evidence of the crime. If you want to relive eating Italian food in a non-Italian (or non-Greek) restaurant c. 1967, get the spaghetti. Conclusion: Three stars are not enough. I'm saying 3.8 - 4.0.

I've only had the pizza - and it hit the spot. Neighborhood joint so you can call about 10-15 min before you get there and your slice (yes, you have to and can order a slice in advance) or pie will be ready for you).

The pizza here is OK, no complaints from me, but from what i remember it use to be better. I come here once in a good while, i'm not a regular, but one good thing is they are quick to prepare my pizza.

While waiting for the rest of our friends to arrive at Broken Record, bf, a friend and I walked down the block to Naples to get a slice of pizza..only they don't sell pizza by the slice! But wait! Take a look at the other menu..GUATEMALAN food! I've never had Guatemalan food but apparently its almost like eating Mexican? We ordered a super burrito with beef, our friend ordered a regular one with chicken. I have to say..for a night with minimal business, they were VERY slow..like snail slow. The first guy cooking kind of seemed like he didn't know what he was doing, the second woman that cooked was more interested in her phone call. 20 minutes later our burritos are done. I asked for no beans, and there were beans. Our friend said no cheese and he got cheese. All it takes is one bite to fall in love with these burritos. I'm really used to quick and fast service at Gordo's, but here at Naples all your meat is cooked to order! The super is HUGE and costed $6, the regular was $5 or 5.50. Both were very juicy and flavorful...all of the juices from the meat and cheese and sour cream all complimented each other VERY well. I wouldn't drive across the city to come eat here, but if in the area, I would DEFINITELY get another burrito or try one of their other Guatemalan dishes.

I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant. I mean, I'm not getting any bigger, and I haven't had morning sickness at all, but the cravings I've been having are enough for me to believe, despite a) being a complete prude (you can get pregnant from making out, right?) and b) that..other thing..that tells you...you aren't...ehhh...anyways, I shouldn't be, by all physics standards and laws of human nature, be with a bun in the oven. Then where the hell are these pizza cravings coming from? They're completely insatiable! Well, up until last night. While my bestest girlfriends (I call them that because I kicked their ass at air hockey) and I were drinking at Broken Record next door, Adam decides to get pizza delivered. Half cheese and half green peppers, onions and mushrooms, I asked for a packet of ranch dressing and dug in. I don't know if it was the alcohol, my empty stomach, happy go-lucky attitude because I had a great fucking weekend, or what--but that was fricking fantastic pizza. Take no heed to the fact that it burned my mouth, I think the alcohol numbed it just enough. It was so good, I'm no longer craving pizza anymore! For now. Until I'm "pregnant" again. At least that's what I'll tell people I am if I keep up this whole eating-until-my-stomach-bursts thing.

The pizza's not that great, at times the pizza is just sitting on the countertop for more than 3 hours and they just pop it back in the oven to reheat it for you. The crust taste stale at times and, well, they can be a tad stingy with their toppings. Sometimes they would overheat it and the bottom of the pizza would be burnt and hard as a rock. However, growing up, I would walk here aftershool, order a slice of pizza and wait for my mother to pick me up after her work. I remember I would sit inside doing homework while slowly eating my pizza for more than an hour. This place used to be my "babysitter" throughout elementary and middle school. The workers are all nice and even though the pizza isn't all that great, it brings back good childhood memories. +2.5 because even though it isn't all that great, I sometimes have Naples withdrawals...that's what you get if you were forced to eat it almost every day for 6 years of your life.

Man, I shoulda just made a quesadilla for dinner. Tonight I was craving some pasta, but I'm low on money. I wanted to buy from Little Joes, but they're a bit more expensive. I contemplated saving money, and eating a quesadilla at home. But no, I gave into the crave. I looked on Yelp for a free delivery place that had pasta, but wasn't so expensive. No one here ever wrote about the pasta, but it had 3 stars, and apparently people say their burgers are good. Order: Cheese ravioli (meat sauce), garlic bread, and mozzarella sticks. Delivery time: 30 minutes. That was pretty good. I take the bags of food. When I open it, I see grease dripping on the top of the container. OH NO! I open up the ravioli, and all I see is that orangy grease on top of the ravioli. Oh great. It tasted like they took a can of Chef Boyardee and threw it in the container. There's BEARELY meat in the MEAT SAUCE! It would've been nice if the person I called had told me the ravioli comes with garlic bread...I wouldn't have ordered garlic bread. Man. Me and my stupid cravings. Crap. I don't think I'll order here again.

This review is for the pupusas and the pizza. My bf lives down the street so when Im not in the cooking mood I just stop by and pick up either pizza or pupusas I know they have guatemalan food but have never dared. Revueltas(mixed) pupusas are great! big, flavorful, however they are full of grease so if you are watching your diet I dont suggest them. Pizza is between a 3.5-4, Im simple so only get pepperoni and mushrooms. Pizza isnt flimsy and is good. The place does need major attention, the floor tile has cracks and is broken so watch your step. Their display of sweet bread isnt the best either, doesnt look very inviting. I wouldnt dine in. Just order and pick it up or have it delivered. Thanks guys!

Pizza is greasy, but good. I don't recommend their pastas or sandwiches; stick with the pizza.

"What's that smell?" "Do you smell that?" "Where's it coming from?" They turn the corner and see us sitting there with our order of garlic fries on the table. Yes, they are freakin' stinky. It's just garlic powder, but man, that stuff is potent. I've tried some of their other fried appetizers - not great. I'm sure I've had the pizza once upon a time, but not recently. That eggplant parm sandwich Brian wrote about sounds like something to try another time. Those garlic fries in the late night smelling up the insides of the Broken Record? Hit the spot!

They should change their name to NAPLES CHEESEBURGERS because I'm not sure how their pizza is, but their cheeseburgers are delish! Fresh ground beef burgers, fresh tomatoes and lettuce, mayo, onions, and cheese. Make sure you get a side of the hot sauce to dip the burger and fries in. Mmmmm.

  • Amy S.

YUM. Generous Toppings. I had a slice steaming with sausage and bbq chicken- Delishh. Too up in the cuts but if you are in the area (and by area I mean the Broken Record Bar) since theres not much activity around this neighborhood.

Pizza is decent here! I ordered the pepperoni, sausage, mushroom and anchovies. The tomato sauce has great fresh flavor and is not heaped on. The crust on the bottom is crispy.

The pizza is really good. I seriously order from here once a week. The price is reasonable too. Don't be scared off by the Pizzarella & Guatemalan food sign. This is the City. We are home of Chinese Food & Donut spots. We also come here for Saturday morning breakfast sometimes. Not pizza ;-) pupusas are yummay too.

Good pizza for cheap. I'll pick up the occasional pizza from here after gettng my haircut next door. I believe theyre under new ownership or something but their pizza still tastes the same.

  • Kat E.

I like my sandwiches like I like my men - big, hot, and finished in ten minutes. Get the eggplant parmesan sandwich. It's all these things, and more. Skip the pizza. They should really change their name to "Our Sandwiches Are Better Than Our Pizza," or "Naples Diarrhealla." Tip: Order your sandwich here and walk down three shops to the Broken Record bar and get yourself a beer while you wait for your food. It will take AT LEAST 10 minutes for these guys to finish making anything you order (even pizza by the slice, it seems, if you even dare to go down that route).

NEVER EATING HERE AGAIN. Ordered something to pick up only to come home and discover they cooked the wrong thing. When I called to tell them what had happened, they said I could come back and exchange it. I said I didn't want to walk back in the cold and asked if they could deliver it instead. They said because my order was less than $10, they couldn't. After pointing out that they were the ones who made a mistake and wasted my time, which is WELL OVER $10, they agreed to deliver it. They said it would take 45 minutes to deliver. If I had picked it up, it would've only taken 20 minutes. Mind you I live less than five blocks away. The food they gave me by mistake (fried shrimp and garlic fries) were nothing to write home about and their pizza leaves something to be desired. It was just convenient to go there because they are right next to Broken Record and sell by the slice. In conclusion I would rather drive upholstery tacks up my gums than be a patron of this establishment. UGH.

Not impressed. Ordered meatball sandwich, chicken nuggets and fries. The food: bread was super hard and slightly burnt. Someone put lettuce and tomotoes on the sandwich. Don't know about you, but most meatball subs I've had usually only meatballs, cheese and sauce. Difficult to eat because of the stale, slightly burnt french loaf. My kids nuggets were way over cooked. It's like someone took them from an all you can eat buffet lunch and then reheated later in the day. Fries were OK. The delivery: over an hour. Not cool.

Very tasty, ridiculously cheesy cheese burger. The thing is ENORMOUS; feel free to share a burger and fries with a friend. And then bring it into Broken Record, just down the block, for a beer. *yum* [edit] -1 star. Ordered their pizza last night. mediocre at best. +1 star the fries, however, were good, and I wanted cheese fries, which they didn't have on the menu. BUT, they threw on some mozzarella for free, which was AWESOME!

My family loves this pizza. The toppings are hearty and the wings are great. Also a good bang for your buck. Any time 30 bucks feeds a family, you are, as they say...GOOD TO GO!

Naples Pizzarella is your average pizza restaurant. Why the 4 stars you ask? They get the extra star for their menu and fast delivery. Normal pizza restaurants advertise an hour for delivery, while Naples Pizzarella delivers in 45 minutes. Their menu also impressed me. With lots of choices of pasta and sandwiches, you don't have to always order pizza. I tried about half of their pastas and I would personally recommend getting the Spaghetti Alio e Olio. It's the cheapest pasta and tastes the best. Order from Naples Pizzarella because the delivery is fast and the menu actually has choices!

So it was my friends birthday and we went to the Broken Record and were having some drinks..err...shots. After a couple rounds we were getting hungry so the four of us wanted a pizza. The bartender of the broken record gave us the Naples menu and we perused through it and found some valuable coupons. On Mondays, you get to size up for free. So we ordered an Extra Large and only paid for a Large, what a deal!!!! The pizza was average even though it was a little light on the mushrooms. We all scarfed it and got fed for $5 a person. Not bad.

I don't know why all the harsh reviews for this pizza. I actually like it. They put a lot of sauce on the pies, which I like. Generous toppings, fast delivery. Not much to complain about here. It is a good value in the Crocker Amazon district.

Fast delivery, pizza probably on par with Venice pizza (another pizza joint in the excelsior that delivers). Nice staff, good service. Not the best pizza I've had but good for delivery.

  • Be N.

My experiences with San Francisco pizzerias has been disappointing and on the average lackluster. However, Naples Pizzarella is a pleasant surprise and departure from the standard SF pizza scene. Hidden away in the Crocker-Amazon, Naples offers a wide selection of pizza toppings as well as 15 house specialty pizzas, pasta entrees, and hot sandwiches. Now any restaurant can roll out an extensive menu and not deliver - I cannot say that about Naples pizzas (though I have not tried their calzones).

newbs. i ordered "a slice of italian sausage and one of feta cheese". i got not two slices back like i wanted, but one slice with italian sausage and feta cheese on it. okay, okay...i guess i should have been less ambiguous when i gave my order. but annoying experience anyway. and waiting 10+ minutes for 2 slices of pizza is redonk. GOOOOOO

Only had one slice from this horrid place. That's all I need to ever have in my entire life. DO NOT WANT!! AVOID! AT ALL COSTS! It's better to starve than fill yourself with this garbage. Think about this, it's so bad, it's not even good when your wasted!

Just finished another great pizza from Naples Pizzarella. I've had pizza from all over town, and this is the one I keep coming back to. Quality toppings, rich flavorful sauce, always yummy.

  • Brian H.

4 stars solely for the eggplant parm sandwich. It's the only thing I've had here but it is tasty and humongous. Like all their other sandwiches, you can add fries for 50 cents, which means you get a meal big enough to feed a village in Darfur for a week for $6.50. I've heard mixed things about the pizza and cheesesteak, but I can personally give the eggplant my seal of approval.

    (4)
  • Katie H.

i have only had the eggplant sandwich here, which rocks my world. ask for raw onions on it. they always let me get half fries and half rings as my sides, and the rings are wicked good. i had a friend get the steak sandwich and it was really gross. the meat was cheap, tough and gritty (sounds like my last personal add) and had no flavor at all. if you tell them your at the broken record, they usually bring it down for you.

Everytime I've ordered from here, my order arrives faster than what the person on the telephone quotes. Not the best pizza, but not the worst either. Anyway, by the time you figure out it's not the best, half the box has been eaten up, so who's complaining. Definitely not me.

    (4)
  • Ty L.

The pizza is okay. Nothing special. But this place gets one star for trying to rip you off (at least the person who was helping us at the time). On the phone we made our order for delivery, but something seemed wrong about the price. We ordered a large pizza with 3 toppings for delivery (which was $17.30) and we mentioned their coupon for $2 off a large pizza. Tax is 7.25%, so they applied the tax to the $17.30 BEFORE the coupon (which is a NO-NO). They should've done this: $17.30 - $2 + 1.11 = $14.19. They asked us for something like 18.50. I'm like what the hell. Then they say there is a charge for delivery. Thanks for letting me know in advance! After all that, they decided to hang-up on us after we tried to figure out the final price. NO to NAPLES PIZARELLA.

Wow I am surprised to see many bad reviews about their delivery... So last night I decided to order from them cuz their delivery limit was only $10. I got their pasta cabonara, food came in exactly 1 hour. And wow the portion is HUGEEEE and its pretty good, they gave alot of bacon. Mmmmmm.... Oh and the delivery man was nice and polite, so I was one of the lucky ones I guess lol I will definitely order from here again!!

The reviews about the delivery are really on point. I usually pick up, so I've never really had the problem of a extremely delayed delivery. So I decided to give it a try. I live about two blocks away from naples pizzarella and I thought I would see how long it took to deliver. The very first time I ordered they came quickly. Roughly 20 minutes or so was all it took. Now the next few times, OHH HO HO HO HO. Big nopes all around. TWO HOURS. TWO HOURS! Cmon guys, It takes less than 5 minutes to walk to my house from your location. The worst part is that this happened the next 3 times. Every time the food came sad, cold, and full of disappointment. I realized this has a lot to do with their online ordering. When I call in, it usually takes less time and i also feel a bit more secured that they actually got my order. I'M REALLY TORN NAPLES PIZZARELLA. I LOVE YOUR TACOS BUT YOU'RE SO SLOW. Tearing me apart buddies. But you know a pretty solid 4/5 when it comes to their Guatemalan food, but avoid the nachoes, it never works out. Ever.

Tried to order a simple enough meal deal that the pizzeria were running. Might have a missed call of them but called the bumvee back and the recipient did not speak English so I couldn't understand if it actually was the pizzeria or not. After that walked down to collect my order and was told in broken English that the oven wasn't working and there was no food to collect while we saw food being cooked! Won't return

They were almost an hour late and got the wrong pizza.

I ordered from Eat24, and after an hour and a half I messaged Eat24 asking what the deal was. I was told the driver left 5 minutes prior, and it would be here any minute. It took 30 minutes on a Sunday evening to drive a big fat 2 miles apparently because it was at the 2 hour mark that I received my food. The order was missing 2 tamales, a combo dinner plate, and a cheesecake. The tostadas were wrong. They even got my free offer wrong! I was given a flavor of soda that wasn't even listed as a choice. I'm starved. They are awful. Eat24 refunded me, but this is not a place to get delivery from AT ALL.

I ordered a pasta from here on grub hub at 10:26pm and the estimated arrival was 11:47 I waited till 12:00 to call the restaurant. When I called nobody picked up. So pretty much, I waited 2 hours for nothing. Super unprofessional and would not recommend.

Ordered here through grub hub. At 9:50pm. Estimated delivery time is 11:05-11:15 which was already ridiculous considering I'm 5 mins away. Anyways it's now 11:40pm and no food. Called the place but they don't pick up their phones. Had to cancel. Very disappointed.

This place does not deserve a star at all. I like their pizza but the customer service and over the phone service is wack! I called to place an order and this is how the phone was answered... Naples: "hello". Me: hello is this naples? Naples: yes Me: can i place and order? Naples: hold on! ( with attitude). I just hung up on that bitch. The service here is so bad, I'm never ordering from here again. Boo to this place and their service!

I don't order pizza much. Over the past 10 years there I have only ordered from two places from the Excelsior district. Well, it is now down to one. Horrible service today. I ordered a pizza from them online at 12:30. I received a confirmation email within five minutes. I know the wait varies up to 1.5 hours. So I called Naples Pizza at 1:45 inquiring about the status of my order. I told the woman on the phone that I placed my order and wanted to know how much longer. She finds my order and tells me they didn't make it. WTF!!! She told me they didn't make the pizza because they were out of green olives. I said to her, "So you didn't make my pizza because you ran out of green olives? You made me wait over an hour and didn't even bother to call me to tell me you couldn't make my pizza?" Woman: yeah. Me: You're not even going to apologize? Woman: Yeah, I know. Me: Do you understand that this is really unacceptable? Woman: We didn't have the ingredients. I didn't even want to hear the rest and hung up. Don't even bother ordering from them again. I read other reviews and thought other reviewers may have over exaggerated.. no, they didn't. Just stay away, it is not worth it.

Was craving garlic fries one night, and Naples popped up as delivery for garlic fries. So, I ordered garlic fries and a few pupusas to make the delivery fee). Well, I was given a delivery time of 45 mins, but it took over an hour to deliver. I seriously live like 5 mins away from this place. I was given my food, and noticed an odd smell when I got into my place. The garlic fries smelt horrible. I ended up having to throw them outside in the garbage, and airing my place out. It was seriously pungent. The pupusa was meh, was very greasy but tasted decent. Would probably be better in the place. Don't think I'd ever give it the time of day, though. Oh, the food was not hot when I received it.. Just overall a pretty bad experience.. Would not recommend.

Never. Again. Granted I should know better and check my order before I shut the door... But there will not be a 3rd chance from me for Naples. Order my usual dishes via Eat 24. An hour later (at around 10:00pm), my order arrives, I pay cash. Put the order in the kitchen and set up to eat. Came back to the order only to find that my combo pupusa plate is missing. No biggie, I call the restaurant to have them redeliver, only for them to say the kitchen is closed...???? I have ordered from this restaurant COUNTLESS times, my orders usually placed around 10pm, and food arrives usually within 45 minutes. The restaurant is listed as open until 11pm. How exactly is the kitchen all of a sudden closed?! Ok. Fine. No problem. Seeing as I paid cash, I ask them to bring me my money back, since they don't seem to want to give me any food. Let me just say, the restaurant is less than an mile away. An hour later (the restaurant is closed, but someone answered... So they can reimburse me on the way home, right?) I'm still waiting for my money. Luckily for me, Eat24 has some awesome customer service and has given me a cash credit to my account. I hope for their sake they can recoup their money. The first time this happened with Naples, many many moons ago, I placed an order around 9:30pm, paid via credit card through Eat24. Waited a good hour and a half, then called the restaurant. No answer, no food, out $35. At least Eat24 took care of me then and again this evening. (Where can I write an awesome review for Eat24?) It's a shame really, because their plantains and pupusas are pretty good... When they actually do arrive. Be warned. Naples will take your money and run. And all you'll have is a growling stomach.

I thought this was just a pizza place but it was definitely different. I was hesitant to order pizza, but I got the NY pizza and it was delicious! Dough was fresh and everything was great, very unique tasting pizza. Customer service could be better but worth it.

4 solid stars for the Guatemalan food definite spot you need to try, I don't recommend the pizza because I did not have any for me go for the actual plates. I sampled two of their plates and I can tell you both plates were worth the wait their pupusas were ok I would order them again, not to oily, lil small but for me it was just decent, sadly if your wife is El Salvadorian your jaded by anyones version of the perfect pupusa the carne asada & chile relleno combo with chicken taco on the side - heavy tomato sauce accompanies the chile relleno, carne was good, tender portion wise also good, the chicken taco imma need to come back for again guatemalan pork tamale - im not a real fan of tamales but how the make it here i would order it again costilla de res a la parilla - grilled shortribs tender since it is a short rib more fat then meat which im fine with, the rice sadly was under flavored but the meats gives this dish the passing grade they do sell pizza but I did not try any may have to come back for some more of the dishes, I thought pupusas were primarily made from el salvador, guess I was wrong, their interpretation was pretty good. food **** service **** very helpful staff price $$ ambiance *** small tight quarters but party of 2 enough room for 5 plates hahahha

As 15+ year customers of Naples Pizzarella, we've watched a steady decline in quality and service. Frankly, these people just don't care anymore. Inconsistent, unremarkable, and tending toward a downward slide. - Pizza crust: 4/5 times we order, it is hard and dry like concrete. On roughly the 5th time you order, you may be pleasantly surprised by good pastry like crust. Maybe. - Ingredients: Not especially tasty and skimpy on the toppings; Sometimes it looks like they forgot apply tomato sauce; THAT little sauce - An 18 inch XL pizza usually has toppings that occupy an area of a typical 14 inch Sm pizza - Delivery: We're promised 45 minutes. In actuality, typically between 1:15 and 1:45 hours. And arrives cold or lukewarm. Definitely needs reheating in the oven. Every time. - The last straw: The driver obviously dropped the box or else played Frisbee with it, because all the toppings had slid to one side + the top of the inside of the box. Having trusted these folks for years, never even thought to look inside the box before I paid. In this case, it was a real bummer because half the pizza was Hawaiian style and the other was Italian style. All of it gushed together into a major mess. Add untrustworthy to the list of negatives. As for the rest of the El Salvadorian fare... again, was once very good, worthy certainly of 3-4 stars. Now downgraded to 2 stars. Same reasons: not especially fresh, not generous with ingredients, prices are up, quality down; arrives luke-warm or cold; takes forever to arrive. We'll never order from Naples Pizzarella again. Ever. So much for loyalty. We gave them so many chances to get it right. But there are so many better pizza places.

These guys are great for a late night snack. They are a great neighborhood pizzeria. They made me a custom pizza and used plenty of toppings. They have linguica and some other special toppings which are not very common to see. The prices are good and what you would expect in the area. They also have several Mexican items on the menu including fresh made pupusas. They also have pizza by the slice if you don't want to pay through the nose for tater tots at the Broken Record :-D

Ordered online via Seamless, got a phone call from restaurant that they can't fulfill my order because electricity is out. Asked for my refund, guy just sort of shrugged it off and told me he doesn't know how he can give me refund. Called Seamless whose service turned out to be not so seamless after all. Getting my refund was a painful task. Wasted a long time on the phone. Would give 0 stars for both restaurant & Seamless if I could.

This place stinks on delivery. no matter what do not order from this place. no matter how good it is, if they can't promise 45 minutes of delivery then why bother ordering from them at all. Two hours I been waiting and this is not the first time

I had a craving for nachos so naturally I looked on Grubhub.com and came across Naples Pizzarella. It started with their delivery minimum stating only $15.00. I ordered nachos, a tamarind water, a pupusa and a cheesecake bringing me up to $15.00 and some change. The app told me I was short $0.75 and instead of fighting it or just calling, I ordered a tamale to complete the minimum requirement. I put in my order around 4:50 p.m and was upset to see my delivery time was 6:09 p.m. Around 6:45 p.m. I called to ask about my order and I immediately got cut off by a man who yelled at me and said he just sent his delivery guy straight to my house and got hung up on. The delivery guy did not appear until 7:15 p.m. And they are only 2 miles away from my house. Why lie and say you sent him directly here? It only makes sense that would upset me more. He just walked away without saying anything and I called for him to tell him I didn't receive my water. I wasn't wearing any shoes, it was raining and there was mud everywhere so I couldn't run after him and although he heard me call after him he turned around, looked at me and walked away. I figured if it was just the water, I could let it slide by. I checked my bag only to find BLACK avocado on my STALE and cold nachos and my pupusa. I immediately called back and a woman answered. When I explained to her what had happened, she only told me that they were out of tamales and said, "bye" I wasn't worried about a $3.00 water, or even $2.25 tamale, but more so at their poor customer service. I told her the nachos were no longer good and that more than half my order was missing and asked her how long it would take to bring me a replacement and the rest and she hung up on me! I called back, and the man from earlier had answered. He told me he could bring me my water in a little over two hours. Now it was just getting ridiculous, I asked about the rest of my items and he said there was nothing he could do about it. When he heard how upset I was, he claimed to have written down my number on a notebook and told me next time I order with them I could have $5.00 off. Obviously these people aren't reliable, so why would I trust him or want to order from them again? He hung up on me twice, and kept putting me on hold without my consent or any warning (by hold I mean moving the phone away where I could still hear his other conversations) he kept refusing to refund me for the missing items or deliver any sooner than "maybe 2 hours minimum" and I explained to him how rude the other employees had been as well and how the woman denied me a manager. I asked him about the manager and he said there wasn't one. I asked him for first and last names of all 3 of them and he told me his name was Juan but to hold on. He then moved the phone away a little bit and said in Spanish to the woman, "This bitch wants all our first and last names so she can report us she is fucking crazy I am not giving her anything or any information she can deal with it" he returned to the phone and said, "Sorry about that ma'am I am working on seeing what I can do for you." I asked him if he was sure and quoted him right back in Spanish. He instantly choked up and tried to offer me a replacement slice of chocolate cake for the tamale and offered to bring it in "maybe two hours, if not more" by that point, I was positive they'd spit on my food. I told him he was going to refund me and I wasn't taking no for an answer. He finally realized how badly he messed up with his comment in Spanish on top of everything else and offered to personally bring me the cash back to my door in 45 minutes. He did however refuse to write my address down and forced his personal cell phone number on me for me to text him my address! (Very unprofessional). About an hour and twenty minutes later, the delivery guy showed up at my door with a $20 bill (my order ended up at $19.00 and some change). After the delivery guy left, Juan called me from his personal number and said he hopes that next time I order from them I receive all my items. I told him I would never order again from somebody who found it okay to disrespect me in another language and then deny it. He tried to lie and say that's not what he said but I wasn't interested, told him to have a good night and hung up. Oh, and all of a sudden he claimed to be the owner. Where was this owner when there was an issue? I'm not sure, but I can't even trust that he didn't just give me a fake name to get me off his back. Needless to say, their food was disgusting and their customer service was worse. Unprofessional and flat out rude. Wish this app would let me give zero stars!

We ordered a pizza TWO HOURS AGO. It's now 8:49 pm. Still no pizza. We called this place twice to verify the order and the standard reply was, "the driver left and should be there soon." Spare yourself the $$ and order someplace else. How disappointing. :-( 2nd Update: Okay. I may have been a bit too harsh. I was hungry. I waited 2 hours for my pizza. HOWEVER, the pizza was delicious! I won't say say it was worth the 2 hour wait. But the pizza was tasty. I'd eat their pie again. I just won't have the pie delivered. :-) 1st Update: The driver got lost. TWICE. My husband told the driver (patiently, I might add) our address, but he kept arguing about the accuracy of our address. (face palm)

They have become totally unreliable and we have watched their delivery service spiral to a practical standstill. Today was the final straw when they failed to deliver a pizza after one hour and a half. We will start looking for a new pizza delivery restaurant to replace this previous favorite. The pizza DID finally show up after nearly two hours. We changed out plans for dinner long ago.
