Don't go for dinner!! Out of Chicken Pot Pie , soup at 6pm & so we ordered an egg dish well done; had to return waiting like 20 min. All kids working there who can care less about customer appreciation. It's ok for a friend breakfast or sweet craving that's it sorry to say....needs vast improvements!

Way too long to get our food 1/2 hr after ordering won't be back soon food is real good just be advised you will wait for it

This is the worst location! They never get Togo orders right. The manager blames the staff for everything. I'm sorry but managers need to take the blame they get paid more. Stop blaming your under paid staff. Not to mention that the staff is normally the ones apologizing not the manager.

What a great place to get breakfast lunch or dinner. The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is great. I would highly recommend their breakfast cinnamon rolls as well as their breakfast wrap. If you're looking to get lunch try their tuna sandwich it is amazing. It is located in a large area with lots of seating. Breakfast can get a little bit crowded so be prepared to wait in a line. Overall this is a five star breakfast lunch and dinner restaurant.

Yummy yummy!!!!! Ice tea was good service is good, food is excellent all very fresh. My 12 year old son had there homemade belgan waffles and they were excellent with fresh strawberries. Corn beef was not feom a can with egg and I had the two eggs with the Applewood bacon all was really really good. If we are ever here again we will be back.

I hate breakfast. Except here, the fresh strawberries and Belgian waffles are to die for. I love stopping by for breakfast. Two things that bring me down. The orange juice I pay about $4 for is the size of a water cup. The second, is that when I call ahead and they tell me that it'll be ready in 15, I get there and have to wait another 10 minutes or so.

Neat place. Good food, great bakery. I went with 4 other people and we all enjoyed our food and experience.

Wow.. Amazing food and Bakery.... You can't go wrong here with breakfast or lunch.... Top quality... Reasonable prices, decent service.. And clean.

The best part of my experience here, was making the cashier make multiple trips to different display cases. I should have changed my mind so that she would have to put everything back. Hindsight is always 20/20. As for the food, I bought a fruit medley cheesecake, chocolate croissants, and a strawberry croissant. I'm not sure of the sweet treats can wash the taste of poor customer service from my mouth.

I've never written a bad review in my life but, in this case, I feel that it would be a disservice not to. I planned to order my wedding cake from this store over the weekend. I first called in to get some pricing information to avoid the long drive, however, the decorator was very vague and sounded irritated with my questions. When I would ask about specifics like fondant or flowers, she would tell me "Oh, that's going to be expensive" but would not give me any idea of pricing. Since I wasn't getting any information out of her over the phone and I needed to get this done this weekend, I decided to hop in the car and drive an hour to the store because I thought it would be easier for her to give me an idea of the cost if we went over some pictures of what I wanted together. This store does not require an appointment and the posted hours for the decorator are from 9am-3pm on Saturdays so I arrived at the store at 1:45pm. When I got there, the manager told me that the decorator had already gone home for the day because "she wasn't busy" and that I should have let her know that I was coming in to make sure she would still be here. I told him that she told me I don't need an appointment and, knowing that her posted hours are until 3pm, there was no reason for me to assume that she wouldn't be there during her scheduled hours. (We were standing right in front of the sign that says "Saturday 9am-3pm" during this conversation.) When I told the manager that I just drove an hour to order the cake and that I at least needed someone to give me an idea on pricing, he said that only the decorator can determine pricing and that literally no other employee, including himself (the manager of the store), can help me with that information. He kept reminding me that I "should have let her know I was coming in" and could not offer an explanation as to why they have scheduled hours for the decorator to be available but could not accommodate a customer if the decorator felt like going home early. I wanted to use this store because they deliver to my venue for free, however, after seeing how they operate and treat a customer that is ready to pay $600+ for a cake, I decided I would rather pay for delivery and order my cake from somewhere else. I went straight from there to Cinderella Cakes in Anaheim and ordered my cake from there that day. Cinderella Cakes offers walk in services as well and provides you with cake tasting samples. I would rather make my own wedding cake than use Cinnamon Productions.

Terrible customer service I only came back here because I had a gift certificate that was given to me nothing but attitude from the counter help and the manager was of no use

Great food always BUT... Waiters should be changed in this place to make it a class place. IHOP does not even come close to this pace in terms of food but beware of the service. We came in with two little kids and got in line for food. While we were waiting we decided to grab a seat with the kids so that they don't disturb people in line. Very rood waiter kicked us out stating we cannot even consider seating if we don't have a number. When I told him the reasoning he did not care and sent me to talk to a manger. I did not want to make a scene so just quietly walked back to the line. Again the reason for 3 stars is service otherwise it is a 5 star food

This is a good breakfast spot near my good friend's home - it's in walking distance for her, lucky! Make sure to order and get a number before sitting down at a table or you will be kindly school'd quickly on how it all works! We got in line and quickly got our order. Service was friendly and quick. I got the corned beef scramble with home fries - mmm! Anytime I see corned beef on any breakfast menu...it is mine! LOL! I loved the combination of the salty corned beef with the eggs and home fries - lovely, very satisfying and filling. My fresh oj was a bit small, but it was enough. It's a bustling busy place so we came at the right time when the line wasn't too long and the tables were not completely full. Lots of food choices and they have a nice bakery section with lots of cute cupcakes! And it's in a great shopping plaza location near the library and central park. When I am back in town, I am sure we will be back!

We were impressed by the decorated cake offering at this store so we gave our approval to ordering a wedding cake for my son's Coto de Caza wedding. The multi-tiered cake ended up collapsing during the reception before the cake cutting portion of the ceremony. These people have no business producing wedding cakes. The worst part is the management at the bakery/restaurant and how they handled the complaint afterwards. They blew-off the event as if it were a normal occurrence with no acceptance of responsibility and no formal apology. I have been in food retail for over 41 years and I have seen my share of mistakes. Every business screws up from time-to-time, but when your business makes an honest mistake you make it right with the customer, especially when your reputation is on the line. Cinnamon Productions had their shot and they failed twice. Poor quality and terrible service. Never again.

  • Gil B.

Service is terrible. I ordered a chicken pot pie over the phone for my daughter (it's her favorite when she's sick). They said it would ready in 20 minutes. I drove down there and THEN they told me they are out of chicken pot pie! They took my phone order and then when I showed up they said they were out!!! And the manager was arrogant and unapologetic. This was my last time I go here.

Possibly the best red velvet cupcake I've ever had. The cake was moist and the frosting was a little different, more original, you could tell it was homemade. Also, it was kind of massive which was lovely because they usually don't come that big. That with a White Thunder blended mocha and you're set for an afternoon treat/pick-me-up/dessert whatever you want to call it. I wish I was going to be around to try more delicious bites. Definitely on the list for when I come back.

Great food, great location (lots of parking!) great prices and yummy baked goods. Their house coffee is wonderful. Breakfast time is busy but there's a reason for that---it is the thing they do best. Plus, should you ever need breakfast for a meeting, their catering is great and a go-to for me. Servings are huge, coffee accoutrements are plentiful and the food does not disappoint. They have a great package menu that I can rely on.

If you want gourmet sweets...this is the spot! Thier coffee is strong and thier freshly made cookies here are warm melt in your mouth! I have been here for breakfast many many times, I usually order the eggs benedict plate. It's served with potatoes and 2 eggs benedict (poached egg, ham and english muffin...oh and not to forget thier hollandaise sauce!) they also come with a side of muffin and/or fresh cut fruit. A little bit overly priced (@ around $10 a plate) but you're in RSM so I guess that comes with the territory! But I like coming here for the coffee and the huge selection of baked goods. Hope to have helped, happy eating!!

I would recommend trying the White Cloud . It's streamed milk , vanilla & honey . Delicious .

I spoke with the owner and he repeatedly dodged the blame and said "there were unforeseen circumstances" or perhaps "someone bumped into the table". I worked in customer service for 6 years and I know that, no matter what, if it's not the customer's fault, then just accept the blame. I am extremely frustrated with this entire situation and with the lack of responsibility by the owner. Unless you like stressing out and tilted cakes, I would not recommend ordering a cake from Cinnamon Productions.

Love Cinnamon Productions! A wonderful selection from sweet cupcakes to fresh turkey sandwiches! Their traditional house blend coffee is always a great choice! A large cinnamon role with rich, decadent frosting is the most popular choice to choose from! Cinnamon Productions is a great place to relax, & have a nice cup of coffee or tea. MUST TRY- Chocolate chip cookies

I do not make it a habit to write review but I feel the need to give this cafe a negative one. I have come for lunch multiple times and breakfast occasionally. The servers are rude and do not make customer satisfaction their priority. My order has been wrong on multiple occasions and I have been overcharged twice because the cashiers do not understand the menu. The management does not correct the issue either and is not attentive. I would not recommend eating here, especially if you are in a hurry. There are plenty of other cafes in the area that are friendlier and who have healthier food.

This restaurant is a great place for brunch or a meeting with friends for lunch. They have lunch specials with delicious choices. I usually order a turkey sandwich with tomato basil soup. Always tastes so fresh! Their service is great, lines don't take too long to get through and they are always clearing off tables so there's one ready for you.

My current theory is that they put crack into the hash browns. They are wickedly delicious. CP' location in RSM is always clean, handles a heavy customer volume well, and smells like a witches' cottage trying to lure in wayward children. The menu is big, and the egg specialties section has some great offerings if you're trying to stay away from an all-carb breakfast. There's a bit of side-access patio seating, but there can be a wait for a table at the busiest times. I bet this place could go into a larger location in the area and do very well, if they switched from their current order-and-sit plan to regular sit-and-order, as at other chain bakery-style locations. My favorite thing about the place? You can order online, and skip the long order-in line, cutting straight to your own register for speedy pickup. The price is also right, which is always nice! This location also has a large catering section to the right, which is likely at least as tasty as their regular offerings. I'd imagine they have the breakfast meeting catering business snapped up in South County. Those hash browns alone--yum!

Very slow cash register. Coffee creamers are mini-packs. Pancakes were awesomely creamy.

Around my work, there is no Panera Bread. There is no Corner Bakery. There is Cinnamon Productions. The food here is actually quite good and it's always busy around lunch and weekend brunch times. They serve a variety of breakfast and lunch items but nothing special. Although they will substitute out eggs for egg whites without extra charge. They also have a huge pastry case with a lot of variety to satisfy any sweet tooth. The clientele on any given day is roughly 95% women. And if there is a man there, he's most likely with a woman. I'm not sure what it is but everyone there seems housewives-ish. Must be the close proximity to Coto.

I have come to this place many times. It always tastes so good. I usually get the CP breakfast wrap which is always delicious. Or the muffins are great, especially the chocolate one. You can sit inside or outside and either is a nice environment. Their employees are all nice too!

Lots of different pastries, hot breakfast menu, plenty of seats. I like this place.

  • Alyssa S.

The food here is always delicious. I strongly recommend getting the cinnamon egg roll instead of the regular French toast in your French toast combo. It's an option they have that is 10x better than normal French toast. The eggs benedict is also great for breakfast and CPBLAT sandwich on a croissant for lunch. This place has good customer service, and the servers are very attentive.

3.5 rating. Ooh, the gooey goodness of the Cinnamon roll with plenty of icing here is a worth a mention. Their lineup of baked goods (cookies, cupcakes, brownies and more) is very impressive. In a side section, they showcase cakes and cheesecakes that look tasty. Cakes can be custom ordered. In my most recent visit, I ordered the two eggs breakfast. The eggs were scrambled, I chose fruit over the option of hash browns and a carrot muffin instead of the toast or breakfast bread. There are a lot of choices for muffins with the two eggs breakfast, including carrot, chocolate chip, banana walnut, oat bran, apple spice, and blueberry from what I can remember. The muffin choices are not listed on the menu; the cashier had to recite the whole list to me when I ordered. In any case, the breakfast was good. I liked the scrambled eggs, to which I added salt and pepper as they were cooked unseasoned. I also liked the carrot muffin, which had shreds of carrots and pieces of apple in it. One of the coffees that I chose, a chocolate and cinnamon flavored blend, had a nice flavor but seemed a little weak in strength. Their vanilla nut coffee has more of a punch but still does not seem strong. I'm sure I'll return in the future. I think it could get loud in this space, but when I visited later in the morning, the noise level was average. I think it is a popular spot for breakfast. Another note, they have free wifi here.

The breakfast here are the bomb. Be prepared to get a lot of food. I love the eggs benidict there, and you get a big muffin to go with it for about 8 bucks. Be sure to check Groupon, they often times have 50% deals. Seating can get really tough when you go there, so be prepared to hunt for a seat

They are busy, so they must be good right? Really, I've been here many times. The food is usually pretty good. The service? Well, that needs a little work. But I would recommend CP for breakfast

I have tried this place few times and almost every you order some thing it will show up missing or not complete and you have to wait another 10 or 15 minutes for them to fix it

Great food for both Breakfast and Lunch! They also have a great Bakery and Coffee Bar. Love their Chai Tea Lattes - during the winter I go there every week just to get one of these! Breakfast is super yummy- love the omelets. Just be sure to get there early on the weekends because they get super busy and it is sometimes hard to find a spot Lunch: 1/2 soup and 1/2 salad combo. The Tomato Bisque soup is the bomb. Bakery - the CUPCAKES and COOKIES are to die for!

Production, production, production and I think they may possibly use powder eggs. However there toast and fruit is good:)

RSM LOC. First service was minimal, line was long to order. Just me, but Sunday morning isn't the best time to train a cashier! 20 minutes to order. Cashier spoke as if was bothering her, mumbled out order back to us and never gave us a number. Food was better than most. Service is terrible. No silverware in the self serve bins. Runner forgot my toast, I reminded the manager, he went to get my toast after cleaning TWO tables, then dropped my cold hard toast on the table like an paperboy, threw it down and kept walking. Never an apology or is there anything else. Seems like success has gone to their heads, if the food wasn't above avg. this place would be gone. Baked goods are very good, but a manager change would help! Like my wife said seems like parents are gone and kids are running wild doing whatever they want. The one thing is nice is they do try to in force the order before sit at a table for the table hogs!

I love this place! I always take one of my good friends here for breakfast and lunch. For breakfast I had tried their waffles and it is amazing, it's crispy with fresh strawberries and banana toppings. Yum!!! There's hash browns are pretty taste like every other places hash browns. I also had their oatmeals and omelets. Their have a large variety of muffins! If you love cookies, bear claws, muffins and brownies and pastries, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! There are so many varieties. For lunch, I love their panini sandwiches! BBQ chicken is my favorite..my friend likes their chipotle lemon chicken salad on flatbread. It's over all really good!! Love CP!!

I love how well kept this place is. Clean. And everything is so fresh and aromatic. A carb lovers dream but low crab eaters nightmare! Lol I order the quiche of the day (bacon and cheese) and man oh man was it delicious! You just can't beat hot and flaky quiche with cheesy and bacony awesomeness inside. Omg... I'm going to faint! I will becoming back to try EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tried an early dinner time. Place was empty and cold. Maybe they were previously open for breakfast or lunch only. I have had lunch salads and early breakfasts here previously and have been satisfied. Their breads are fresh and good. For dinner, I tried the chicken pot pie. On the plus side, it was HOT, which is my preference. However, the chicken pieces inside looked and tasted bland. in small squares and possibly from canned chicken. Disappointed. Display of cup cakes looked good with variety, however I did not purchase any cake offering so cannot verify the taste.

Efficient order-and-sit system for breakfast, even with our weekend party of six. the kids enjoy the over-the-top cinnamon buns. My hashy egg dish was so-so, the corned beef was thin slices, not cubes. Overall, all enjoyed their eggy, starchy, sugary breakfast. it's also a bakery, and looks quite good if you need a pie, cake or sugar fix.

I'm pretty fond of this cute little cafe....I like the set up, you order at the counter, take a number, find a seat, and wait for your food to be delivered to you. I mostly come here for breakfast....last time I was here, I told the cashier we were sharing and he offered to put it on 2 plates for us. We shared the southwest scramble and it was perfect for us. Another good breakfast item is the breakfast wrap. For lunch, you can't go wrong with any of their panini or the bbq chicken salad. They also have a bakery that does full on cakes, cupcakes, and pastries....Cinnamon rolls are a real treat!! They have cute already made decorated cookies and cupcakes available if you're looking for something cute. The restaurant is clean and has a welcoming feel to it. This is one of the best breakfast spots in RSM.

We came here for a late breakfast. This time I went for the Spicy Huevos Rancheros. I liked everything about my meal except the microwaved refried beans that were burnt and cold at the same time. I hate that most restaurants use the microwave way too much these days resulting in poor quality food. I did like that I could butter my own bread and it wasn't a cold stick of butter either. The avocados and over easy eggs mixed with salsa on warm tortillas were good but I don't know about it being spicy. Mild was more like it. My favorite is still the breakfast wraps. My partner in crime had the club sandwich and took a brownie to go. Both looked and by the sounds of it were delicious. They have recently expanded into a full time deli/bakery operation.

I love Cinnamon Productions, and I have since they opened! The past weekend my nephew got baptized and I was in charge of getting the cake made and thought Cinnamon Productions would be the perfect place to get it made. I went in and spoke to one of the bakers and told her what I wanted, showed her a picture of what I wanted the cake to look like, etc. On Sunday when I went to the pick up the cake they showed it to me before I left with it. When they opened the lid I noticed that it was nothing that I has asked for. Keep in mind that this was for a baptism, and I asked for a very simple cake with a cross and a some French swirls, when I saw it my jaw dropped, the cake was decorated like a beach! A BEACH!!!! I didn't have time to ask them to change it because we were on our way to dinner reservations so I just took it. Don't get me wrong, the cake was still beautiful and tasted outstanding, but I was still very disappointed that the cake was not decorated how I asked. I think they should write more details about how the customer wants their cake decorated, because if this would have happened to someone else they may have been more upset than I was. Hopefully they take this into consideration for the next time I order a cake!

Poorly managed. The patio was dirty and infested with fly's everywhere, trash and food on the ground. The employees were nice but lazy. I like the one in foothill much better...will not go back here.

After I wrote the last review, the owner/manager sent me a very nice email asking for more details about my experience. I appreciated that and it shows that they do care. How-ever... Went back again yesterday with a group to meet an ex-coworker who drove from out of town to meet us all. It was raining and the place was packed. We waited in a very long line that at one point stopped moving. No one was at the counter taking orders, they just vaporized. Finally someone in the growing-ever-more-discontent line flagged down a cashier. Cashier said "well, the tables are full, so we cant take any more orders." Seriously? No, really. Seriously? At this point there were probably at least 15 people waiting in line. I understand that they cant control the weather and good for them for being so busy. But I think its safe to say there are tens, if not hundreds of thousands of restaurants across the globe who also have open seating, who DO NOT STOP TAKING ORDERS when its busy. Blew my mind. My girlfriend and I jumped to the "To Go" line where they were still "able" to take orders. We took our numbers, just like all the poor saps waiting in the regular line and sat outside under the awning. We got our food quickly. It was a joke really. I think I am officially done with this place out of principal. Sorry Management, you may care, but it really doesn't matter when you can't make your business run smoothly.

Awesome staff and even better food, the desserts here are amazing. I've been to several of these and this has the best staff courtesy out of any I've seen. Highly recommend this place and all their cheesecakes.

I love the cinnamon. That's the 4 stars. Breakfast entrées, breakfast croissant and omelette, were dry and so boring, as well as their scones but I'll be kind and give 3 stars, same for customer service.

Cinnamon productions is very affordable and does an amazing job with whatever concept of a cake you have. I've used them twice now. Once for my husband's birthday cake which was a golf theme and second for a baby shower I threw which was a little man theme. I got sooo many compliments on the cake at the baby shower, not only in the look of the cake, but the taste was incredible. Everyone kept asking where I got the cake made from. Thanks again CP!

This place has really gone down hill. Very hard to even get someone to take your order, they almost ignore you, very disappointing. I waited 10 minutes and I was the only one at the counter. Unbused tables, place was unkept. dirty. We left.

I hadn't eaten here since around when this spot opened, and I vaguely recall not being impressed in the least. I met my mom for lunch here the other day and reaffirmed that lack of impression. I'm not into the menu here. They need a simpler "build your own sandwich" option, because the choices they have up there now don't inspire me to do much eating. I ordered my mom a tuna sandwich, which comes on cinnamon raisin bread (sounds like a wretched combo), and when I asked if the bread could be switched to rye, my cashier had to go have a conversation with one of the cooks for a couple minutes before he understood. Is it really that hard to request a different bread? I had a half turkey panini with side salad. The panini was a lifeless hunk of dough and meat. The "run over" appearance of the grill marks seemed fitting since it tasted like someone had run it over in the parking lot. The meat was crudely jammed in there, and it tasted like cheap grocer quality. The tomato was soft and spongy, which was almost enough for me to discard it. My side salad must've been dressed with an eyedropper because I had barely any dressing on it. This might just be the least satisfying lunch I've had in this town.

This place is amazing. I had been looking for a place that I could get a good cinnamon roll and I think I finally found it! I ended up getting the cinnamon roll French toast and a cinnamon roll to split. The cinnamon roll was absolutely AMAZING! The French toast was very sweet and very good. The only complaint I would have about it would be that it was a little dry at times. I would definitely get it again. I would recommend this place for a quick little breakfast run or even breakfast for the whole family.

My favorite breakfast and lunch time place. This place is so close to my house and i am very happy about that. Every time the cashier is kind and happy which makes me enjoy coming here. There are always enough seats and i like seeing how there are people always cleaning makes me feel comfortable about coming here. Daves breakfast sandwich is my favorite! Will definitley come back here. Way better service here than at the ladera location!

I had heard great things about this place... so I tried it for breakfast. I ordered the cafe scramble which is 3 eggs with roasted garlic, sun dried tomato, red and green peppers, sliced mushrooms, and topped with Monterey Jack and Cheddar Cheeses. It really had no flavor. I tasted the peppers, but peppers have a strong taste. I did not taste anything else, and the cheese was oddly placed on top, I would think it would be cooked in. I had to add salt, pepper and hot sauce to get some taste into my meal. Overall, I guess I just wasnt too impressed.

After hearing several coworkers rave about the baked goods and food here we finally tried it. Everything was heavy and loaded with fat and we thought it was just a bad day for the kitchen. We went back and it was just as bad with different orders. Had the take out a couple of times at work meetings and again heavy ,fatty, nothing good about it. We're done trying.

I've only ever come here for their baked goods, which are delicious. But, today, I came in for lunch. It wasn't terribly crowded but it still took about 30 minutes to get two sandwiches. Seriously? My friend, who ordered hers after mine got her sandwich first, but there was no mention that mine was coming - some girl just dropped it off and walked away. We waited a few moments before I went to the counter where the one girl who appeared to be working (the rest were talking amongst themselves and ignoring customers) checked and said mine was "almost done". Ten minutes later, I checked again. The same girl was very apologetic and made sure I got it right away but the bread had clearly been toasted some time before, as it was rock hard and cold by the time it got to me. I bunch of potato chip crumbs were tossed on the plate with it. What? No one could open a new bag? Majorly disappointing.

I was here at 9:30 AM on a Wednesday morning. I'm usually at work at this time but had to wait for someone in this area of town. The place pretty much reminds me of Panera, but a cut above. What surprised me the most were the number of soccer moms here and the decibel level of their endless cackling. It dawned on me, this is where stay-at-home moms go each day. Chugging coffee, eating pastries, and non-stop talking. This is a real coffee clatch. They all know eachother. This is a sub-culture I was never aware of before. Good for them! Someone should create a video documentary of this scene. Well, my egg sandwich was pretty good. Kind of expensive compared to the awesomeness of a Donut World egg sandwich. Coffee is fine. Attentive service and clean. I can't hear myself think so if I ever come again I hope to have some industrial ear plugs.

Normally visit the Ladera Ranch location. This place is FAR bigger but also seemed a little less connected with the patrons. Not really friendly, but not unfriendly! Food is still DELISH!!!

We ate breakfast the first day Cinnamon Productions opened. We were drawn to the sweat Cinnamon and fresh baked smell of desserts. We use to eat breakfast 1-2 times per week and takeout muffins. We also have ordered birthday cakes. Breakfast is homemade, made on the spot, hot with perfection. We love the omelette's or power healthy breakfast. My wife loves the coffee and I of course love the ice tea. (FREE refills). When I bite into EVERYTHING I have tried at this home bakery, I want more. I am so blessed to have a fast metabolism because I just keep eating and eating. This place brings a huge smile to my face. Many women who drop their kids off to school just before 8am or 9am, frequent this establishment. They gossip, chat, support each other, tell tall tales and share stories. I enjoy listening to the gossip. One day, a lady will have friend X talking about friend Y and the next day she will have friend Y talking about friend X. I have collected so much juicy gossip, but my lips are sealed. PS must go for the excellent baked goods and breakfast and lunch!!!! OH, and the gossip is juicy too!

For a girl who never met a bakery item she didn't get along with, this place has danger written all over it. Because of my love of sweets and how absolutely awesome this place is, we definitely have a love-hate relationship and while I try to stay away, it's really really hard. What's so great.... EVERYTHING. The bakery case has loads of the good stuff, ranging from cupcakes and cheesecakes to danish, muffins and cakes. This is THE place to pick up dessert for a special night at home (or any night in my opinion) or if you want to impress at a dinner party. The nice thing is, you can order an individual size cake of a lot of their larger cakes if you want a small treat without leftovers for a week or if you want to sample something ahead of buying it for a party. Their price for large cakes is very reasonable. I've picked up cafe food here before and while I think it is a little overpriced ($10 for a Cobb salad), their Tomato soup really is to die for. Very similar to the one served at Yardhouse. Their front end staff seems to be a lot of students but for the most part I've never had any issues with service. Lunch time is extremely busy so I tend to go later in the afternoon. RSM should be proud of this place. It is truly awesome.

Have been to this place for breafast and lunch, my wife seems to love it. Seems like a good place to eat cinnamon rolls because they look amazing, I dont think my body can process that much sugar... I will give it a try at some point and maybe increase my rating.

Really enjoyed our breakfast. Found this place by using Yelp as a suggestion for breakfast after church. There was so much to choose from, the place smelled great when we first walked in, and the crowd made it look promising. Daddy got the Chorizo Wrap, I got Quiche and Fresh Fruit (veggie quiche was the quiche for that day), and our daughter got pancakes. Our food was great, the workers were friendly, and worked hard. It was worth the wait. We will need to try the bakery next time.

One of the few if not the only cooked-to-order breakfast places in the area. You stand in line, order at the counter, take you number to the table, get yourself your drinks and tableware and wait for the food to be brought to your table. Portions are not large. The egg and pancake dishes are fine. Surprisingly, considering the history of the company as a bakery, one does not smell fresh baked goods upon entry. The baked goods are acceptable but not outstanding. As it is one of the few places in the area, wait times for your food can be significant and seating can be limited during peak times. If you order one of the meals that offers you the option, getting the muffin allows you to have something to eat while you wait or save for later. Parking is good and there's some outdoor seating, too.

This is an update to my previous review. After some time had passed from our last disappointing visit we recently decided to try breakfast again on a Saturday rather than a Sunday (when we would usually go). We had a much better experience. The young woman at the counter taking our order, Elyse, was so professional: spot on, efficient and friendly. We complimented her on her service. Our order was deliver by another very friendly wait person (didn't get her name) but once again, perfect. We ordered our favorite breakfast, poached eggs, hash browns, and toast for me, muffin for my guy. Everything was delivered hot and tasted good except for the hash browns. The potatoes were crispier on the outside but these new "ribbons" of potatoes just don't get crispy like the previous ones that were thinner. Maybe it is the "diet gods" telling me I need to order the fruit next time, a directive I will definitely follow. I just don't like the "gummy-ness" of these new potatoes. After reading the reviews for all the CPs and reflecting on my experience at CP I think the problem lies in the variance of service of the staff. There are young people working here who are professional, friendly, and efficient; but there are also some people working here as managers and waiters who don't have a clue about any of those attributes. Perhaps the inconsistency of the reviews reflect the inconsistency in the attitude and work habits of some of the staff, which says just "ok" vs. excellent. The coffee is good, the food is good when delivered on time, the bakery goods are yummy but the service is spotty. If you know that when you go in and are willing to adjust to that expectation then you'll be satisfied (not thrilled), but satisfied. Right now CP has a captive audience because there are still few places in RSM or nearby offering breakfast or a quick lunch (Panera Bread may give them a run for their money) but if a similar place moves in to town offering good food and GREAT service? CP may find the customers moving on.

I finally made a trip back to sample their baked goods, and so far in my life, best chocolate chip scone ever. They have a lot of creative cupcakes ($2.95) that inspire me to start baking again. They have different types of cookies ($1), gynormous brownies ($2), and many other lovely goodies. When my boyfriend uttered the phrase "get whatever you want," I felt like a little kid in a candy store. See previous review for my thoughts on breakfast, because the same thumbs up review applies!

Wow, the people who work here are exceptionally rude, starting with the cashier to the bus boy. The quality of the food certainly does not make up for the lack of customer service.

My husband and I eat out for breakfast on the weekends and this is one of our favorite spots. It can be pretty busy, but we feel it's worth it. Neither one of us has ever had a meal we didn't enjoy. I love the cinnamon roll french toast or the waffle with strawberries and bananas. My husband changes it up all the time, and has always loved what he's gotten. We really like that they offer breakfast all day, so there is no rush and our weekends can remain laid back. We're super excited that they're opening a location in Foothill Ranch, since that is where we live. Truth be told though, we'll probably still make the short drive to RSM because we like the staff at that location. They are a very friendly bunch!

Review is strictly for the sandwiches. Made a quick stop to this cafe this weekend because I wanted to try something besides Corner Bakery. I tried their BBQ Chicken Panini last weekend and it was pretty good - this is coming from the girl who rarely orders BBQ Chicken anywhere outside the family's backyard BBQ ;x Chicken was good, sourdough bread was just right, and they went light on my BBQ sauce as requested! My boyfriend had their Black Forest Ham sandwich - I wasn't a fan but he really liked it. The dessert displays looked so good but we already had plans for sweets elsewhere. I have a feeling that I'll be back for some of those baked goodies pretty soon though ;)

Best Eggs Benedict!! Served on a croissant and the hollandaise is tangy which is my favorite part. So amazing. The hash browns are also really good!

Love the cookies! They make beautiful cakes/ cupcakes too! I have had a couple of the salads, a turkey panini, cp wrap, pancakes, and the eggs benedict. I usually go for breakfast and I'm a fan of the eggs benney! It comes on a croissant, which I ask for on the side. The hollandaise has good flavor and the ham/ potatoes are yummy too!! Very clean and always busy :)

When dining here with family, who can eat anything as a gluten intolerant person there were absolutely no options at all. NOT EVEN SALAD DRESSING, all it takes is oil and vinegar at least!!!!!!! Come on!! FYI your staff should know what's in your dressings.

I was told by my Mom... "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all!" OK Ma..... I hear ya', so I'll be polite and sorta' short, well, maybe more thorough than short, on one issue; dryness. (not the personal kind... but the food kind!) And no matter what you read from here on out... this place is OK. I have no severe problems..... well, maybe just one little one. (see my "expanded-short, but nice" review to follow.) Quick quiz...... name as many "Bakery Cafe Chains or Single Stores" as you can. Now..... pick the most exciting to the least exciting, in that order. If you can't do the "sort challenge"...... then it's probably because they're all about the same. They're all OK, with simple faux-healthy looking menu boards at ceiling level, with a "special draw item." Evidently, here, it's the cinnamon buns smothered in sugar-drizzlings, surrounded by other "friends of Type II Diabetis." And that's OK by me. (see Ma... I'm still being nice!) When we walked up to the counter, I asked the very pleasant young lady at the counter; "Is the turkey sandwich made with fresh roasted turkey breast, or a prepared deli meat?" I didn't mean this as a test question... but she had to call in some backup on that one! And her young work partner also got lost in what evidently was the "Jeopardy Challenge Question." By then, I knew that if they had not seen anyone roasting what they probably would have thought was a "chicken on steroids" in their kitchen, it was probably sliced deli meat. I was just asking. Hopeing beyond hope that they actually had fresh roasted turkey. (If you want that... try Corky's across the street on Antonio.) So after administering the SAT Verbal Exam Question... I had the highly advertised "pepper turkey on cranberry bread with a featured cranberry-based spread." (yes, cranberry spread...whatever that is?) Anyway... the sliced turkey was closer to Boar's Head. And sadly, on my sandwich, there was hardly any of that "spread"...... and the resultant sandwich was dry. But I was too lazy, after only seeing "red condiment sauces; catsup, hot sauce, more hot sauce", to ask for an Italian dressing or mustard. (they also had maple syrup paks at the table, but there's no way, OK?) Anyone who serves a dry turkey sandwich, in my opinion, doesn't know anything about making sandwiches. At least provide something on the side, OK? (how about an intravenous saline pak with disposable needle?) Sooo..... would I go back to Cinnamon Productions Bakery Cafe? Heck yes!!! ...... as soon as I lose another 15 pounds on this low-carb diet...... but obviously, to buy me one'a them there SIN-EE-MAN buns! (heavy on the drizzle please?) And, I'll say one more "nice thing" about this place..... all the staff seemed very nice..... even if they don't know the difference between "fresh roasted" and "preserved and delivered by Sysco Foods." (see Ma...? Again with the nice comment!)

Went here for lunch today and LOVED it!!! My mom recommended this place to me...said it was delicious and I should go...so I did. :-) First of all, you walk in this place and the smell is amazing!! Drool fest 101. Seriously. Walk in here, and you'll know what I'm talking about. After scoping out the menu, I decided on a Tuna Sandwich and a side salad. I'm on this semi health kick right now. Which is a good thing, right?! Tuna Sandwich was amazing...oh so fresh and wonderful. Salad was awesome too, and I'm normally not a salad person, so if I loved it, that's a plus. Had Iced Tea to drink...ohhh so good! I had about 3 cups full as I was eating. My bladder hated me later...but it was sooooo good, I couldn't resist, I swear!!! :-) They have a nice area to eat outside in the shade. Loved it! Good people watching area. :-) Only con, and the reason why I deducted a star, is that they are expensive for the portion you get, but hey...it's just that good!!!

Sunday morning tradition in our household. Have to get the french toast made on a cinnamon roll every time. The tuna sandwich on cinnamon raisin bread is delicious as well, plus almost any kind of dessert you can think of.

My pregnant wife met a friend here for breakfast today. She ordered a pancake combo and found what looked like a pubic hair in her food. She then pointed it out the manager and the manager denied that the hair was from the kitchen. Mysteriously, then, the hair apparently appeared in her food between the time it was prepared and brought to her. Needless to say, it is pretty disgusting to find pubic hair in your food when you go out to a restaurant. It's made worse when the restaurant manager sees the pubic hair in the food and insists that the hair is not from the kitchen; that he knows the guys in the kitchen, instead of "I am very sorry." In the end, he refunded the amount of the dish only (just over $8), but not the total amount of the tab, which came out to more than $24. We have been to Cinnamon Productions in Ladera Ranch many times without cause. It's disappointing that the manager at this RSM location chose to act this way and to handle the issue in the way he did. If you don't mind having pubic hair in your food without apology, Bon appetit.

The food is great, I've been coming here for years and everything from the cupcakes to the salads are great. I do find it a bit expensive and I cannot stand the way they do the seating/food serice during busy times. You stand in a long line to order your food then go find a table after getting your own sivlerware, drinks etc. Then a busboy brings you your food, it seems really ineffective. I avoid all this and go during the week when it is not so busy. I'd also go more frequently during the week, if they had wi-fi.

Horrible... I came here several time for breakfast. The foods were okay. On 3/2, I came here again to buy the birthday cheesecake for my friend. I asked one lady if they carry the candles for the birthday cake. The lady said they do not carry the candles for the birthday cake, but she has some extra so she can give to me. I though it was an amazing service. I trusted what she said. ............. Well, she did not put the candles and I felt so sorry for my friend she couldn't blow out candles on her birthday cake..... Why did the lady tell a lie??? Did she forget? No way, it did not take even 5 minutes to wrap the cheesecake after she mentioned it. Did she think if they do not have candles, I wouldn't buy a cake???? Actually no one liked the fruits cheesecake and we threw away. What is the gooey cream on top of the cheesecake? This place is pretty close to my house and very convenient, but I will not go back.

Great food, great baked goods. Cinn. Roll French Toast is too good to be real and their pancakes are incredible. However, the wait on the weekend is insane! Understaffed, for sure and messy. Plan your times to come here carefully cause their amazing food is not worth it on a Sunday at 10:30 am. You'll wait in line for half an hour and your food will be brought out to you and your companions, (at times with 5-10 minutes between dishes) maybe 30 minutes after you sit down.

I am not a pancake person but the ones at CP are delicious. The eggs are fluffy and the hashbrowns are particularly worth dying for. I'm not kidding, this place is delicious and the only drawback is that I have to go every weekend now thanks to it's exposure to my food pallet. If you like "real" mexican food, stay away from the chorizo wraps and chipotle salsa. Not noteworthy

I really wanted to like this place. I mean, come on, it's called Cinnamon Productions. The name just screams "Yum!" Sadly, it was not so. The best part about this place is the smell when you walk in. Perhaps that's why we went a little overboard with our selections. It was our first time so we picked 3 cookies (choc. chip, oatmeal raisin, and snickerdoodle), 1 chocolate bundt cake, 1 cinnamon roll, and 1 pecan roll. (Hey, you either go big or go home, right?) The cookies? Fine, but lacked depth and any richness. I took bites of each and could tell immediately what the problem was: There's not enough butter in these things! The chocolate bundt cake? It looked great, and while the cake itself seemed fresh, the chocolate was hard and near flavorless. Quite the bummer when you need a chocolate fix. The rolls? They sort of redeemed themselves here. My husband had the cinnamon roll, which he said was "good." The thing was at least 6" x 6" and smothered in icing. My pecan roll was just as big and tasted great, but that's probably because when I heated it up, I put a generous dollop of butter on top. Richness at last! CP has good prices ($1 for cookies), but I'd be willing to pay a bit more for more flavorful ingredients and, in the spirit of Paula Deen, more butter!

Pure awesomeness!!! If you are a breakfast enthusiast you will love this place. It is counter service which is a little disappointing when you are in the mood to be waited on but the food is so good it doesn't matter. The Eggs Benedict is served on a croissant. Who does that? Do they not want us to live long enough to eat here twice? 10,000 calories or not, it's delicious!!! My suggestion is to share. The entrees are big enough for two and you can always go back to the counter and order more food if you're still hungry, fatty. I prefer to leave some room so I can take home a pastry.

Tried to eat there this morning. Line almost out the door and only one register open taking orders and taking orders very slowly! Line wasn't moving at all, I couldn't stand it and left after 10-15 minutes as was too painful. Went to Bruxie was fast and efficient; eventhough there was a line. Management must prepare better for holidays.

I never write reviews, but at this point I am so frustrated with this restaurant in RSM that I had to write a review. Don't get me wrong, their food is delicious. That is why I eat there. But the employees who work there seem so oblivious and do not know how to multi-task. The past two weekends I have ordered for pick up. There is a pick up line and a normal line. I of course wait in the pick up line where a girl is helping a customer in front of me, and then when it's my turn just walks away and never comes back, even though she walks passed me a couple times. So, I just walked into the regular line to pick up my order. I just thought that was terrible customer service. Today I did the same thing, ordered to pick up, stood in line where an employee was addressing a problem a customer had with his order, told him it will be right out, and never asked me or acknowledged me if I had something to pick up. Again, she just walked away. So, I learned my lesson and walked to the other line, and payed for my order. She didn't give me the coffee I had ordered. I also asked her "Where am I supposed to wait?" She told me by the pick up line. So after I waited at the pick up area for 10 minutes a girl finally came over and asked the women in front of me if she needed anything. She said she had a pick up so the employee grabbed the bag that had been sitting on the counter for a long time, which was actually my food, not the women's in front of me. The employee looked at me with confusion as I already told her I paid for it. So what I am wondering is why didn't the girl who I purchased the food from go check on my order? No one would have know that all the sudden my order was ready if no one went and checked. I get that they are busy, but you have several employees who seriously act confused and have terrible customer service skills. It really isn't that hard people. I would give it more stars if this was only based on food, but what's most important for a business is good service.

The cakes and pastries looked really good, but since I don't eat sweets, I just rated them based on their looks :) The breakfast was pretty uneventful. I just had the eggs and sausage... it came with a fat "worm" of hash brown, which was pretty good. It came with a choice of muffins/fruit/toast. I got the butter croissant and it was gigantious. Also came with the plate was a slice of cantaloupe and literally a few leaves of salad (for garnish?). Would definitely go somewhere else for breakfast...

My husband (H.) and I went to Cinnamon Productions on a Friday at 10:30a.m. We didn't experience as long a wait as most reviewers, probably because it was a workday and in between the breakfast & lunch hours. We were both craving the French toast, so ended up ordering the same thing: the French toast combo which includes 2 big pieces of French toast, eggs and choice of bacon or sausage. The food was delicious! Eggy thick slices of toast and salty sausages make such a great combo! And on a random note - drinking a root beer w/ your breakfast is yummy! My 3-year old (C.) and I went here a few months ago, just for the cinnamon roll and coffee and milk. C. ate 1/2 of the cinnamon roll! That's a lot for a 3-year old! We both love the sweets!

Cinnamon Productions is a consistent, pleasant meal no matter what time of day you come. They serve breakfast from open to close. Let's start with what everyone doesn't seem to understand about this establishment: you have to wait in a line (sometimes you can luck out like I usually do) to place your order. You are NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE A TABLE WITHOUT GETTING A NUMBER WITH YOUR ORDER. I understand this is a problem for some but because of the lines I see ALL THE TIME at the RSM location I am assuming most of us know how this works. If you have a problem with this or are unfamiliar with that idea, please stay away. It works for about 99.5% of the RSM, Coto, Dove Canyon, Las Flores, Trabuco Canyon crowd. This last weekend a bunch of us enjoyed a child going around to each display, placing his palms on the glass and saying, "OooOooooo...," to each one which entertained us and he was completely sidetracked while his parents waited behind us. I have seen children outside with one parent while another waited inside. I know one reviewer is convinced arriving AFTER 8 a.m. is truly death on the weekends... I am here to say IT IS NOT. My girls and I showed up at 9:55 this past Sunday and were 3rd in line no issue. I will easily say that it is a total gamble as to what time you will show up and have a completely different experience. On to the food! I have had everything from a simple scrambled egg, bacon, toast breakfast to the huevos rancheros, Dave's breakfast sandwich to the veggie breakfast wrap as well as some of the scrambles. Does it come out exactly the same every single time? No. Can I get past that and try again? Yes. Because it simply is yards above Ihop, and even the place in the same parking lot as them- Canyon Fireside Grill (if you need to see why, just go read my review of THEM...) I also have ordered ham which sometimes is super thick cut (my preferred) and sometimes thin. *shrug* My girls love the pancakes and the waffles (I credit their constant wanting of choco chips INSIDE the waffles for the reason you can ask for that and not get a 'we don't do that' answer.) Their salads are ok, their tomato soup is good and I don't understand what people say about the panninis- I have had the veggie, bbq chicken and turkey and all have been delicious and do NOT taste like they have been run over by a car at all. The pulled bbq pork sammy is boring but good. The B.L.A.T. is just what it says it is. No excitement there, but who expects it? If you do, you need to go pair your reviews with jumping out of airplanes or dodging bullets or something. It's fucking FOOD people. Get over yourselves. I am happy they have stopped using the melon on the plates as I am terribly allergic to melon and 9 times out of 10 when I asked for absolutely NO FRUIT on the plate they left it on anyway. They have started to use a slice of orange to which I say, "Why?" This is such a senseless addition to the boring plates. All people want is good food. Stop wasting time with useless fruit that will get thrown out 100% of the time (especially since the orange slices are always so gross looking... dry and never appetizing.) While I have had a few disappointing experiences with customer service and even food, something keeps having me come back and it has been a LONG time since I have been disappointed so I can only assume they are finding their weak spots and improving on everything. Except the seating. Don't go thinking you can cheat 'cause it's like going to Disneyland and saying, "But I have these bored, unruly children. I totally deserve to cut in line ahead of you so they can be entertained!" See? If your children are over 5 months old and under 6 and still can't be asked to sit still? You need to cook at home or order to go. That's what I did and it worked 100% of the time!

I give this place 5 stars for the breakfast (served ALL DAY) and 5 stars for their bakery (served ALL DAY..okay don't give me that, I know bakeries are always served all day..) Tasty tasty breakfast. Not any more expensive than a Denny's breakfast but wayyy better food. My suggestion is to try Dave's Breakfast Sandwich. Dave's breakfast sandwich is meat/eggs/lettuce/tomatoes on a croissant served with a slice of cantaloupe, and a side of hash browns or fruit. Absolutely delicious! I don't know who or what Dave is , or where he is, but thanks Dave. Can I call you David? Anyway, I've started coming here regularly. OH and as the name suggests try their cinnamon rolls. Mmmmm mm. The other baked goods are excellent too, I need to try more. Cheaper than a place like 85 degrees too.

This place is average at best. You would think their best item would be a Cinnamon Roll, not so much. I ordered what I had hoped would be the best cinnamon roll in the world. The cashier asked if I wanted it warm. I said yes, thinking that it would be fresh from the oven. No, instead they popped my roll into the microwave for 30 seconds on High. My cinnamon roll was boring at best. I was totally underwhelmed by my entire experience. The place was packed, but I am still trying to figure out why.

I absolutely love their cinnamon rolls. I am a big fan of the cream cheese frosting, and the fact that the rolls will stay moist for a couple days after purchase. Go and do a taste test with another bakery or some pillsbury store-bought product. No contest! Also huge props to CP for doing an amazing job with some custom bakery items for a birthday and mother's day gift. They went above and beyond with a one day order. Thanks so much CP! Upgrade to 4 stars! I haven't eaten a meal at the restaurant in a while...just take out from the bakery. It sounds like the sit-down area is still getting mixed reviews from other yelpers. Keep up the great reviews!

This review is on bakery items only. We stopped by this place to get food in our belly before heading home (1 hour drive). We didn't get "real" food, just some sweets. Snickers cheescake and regular cheesecake to eat there and got some additional items to-go; Oreo brownie, Lemon cupcake, Carrot cake, and had to get a Cinnamon roll since the word 'Cinnamon' is in the name of the place. Everything was good, wife says the Cinnamon roll is better than Cinnabon. We'll be back when/if in the area.

I want to like Cinnamon Productions, however the management has left me scratching my head on a couple occasions. Not sure how Manager Victor works in customer service as he clearly has no clue how to offer it. Ugh.

I always like to gauge the quality of a restaurant by their simplest item. Started work with a new client in Santa Margarita today and had no idea where to go for lunch. All I knew was I had a hankering for a refreshing salad and tasty bowl of soup. After looking up my trusty yelp reviews, Cinnamon was chosen for the day's test. The restaurant is located in a cute and overly Spanished-out adobe shopping center (which is basically what all of Santa Margarita is), and upon entering, you are greeted with the same cafeteria styled service as Panera or Corner Bakery. The pastries looked AMAZING but as stated, I had my eyes some greens and soup. I ordered the half and half Spinach and baby green salad and tomato bisque. YUM AND YUM! The salad had fresh ripe strawberries and grapes in it and was dressed with a very light and tasty vinaigrette. The soup was rich and just salty enough without leaving your ankles swollen. The service was quick, clean and organized and there was ample indoor and outdoor seating in a very comfortable and calm ambiance. This is definitely a great place for lunch and I overheard some ladies saying that the breakfast here is pretty awesome too. Definitely a good stop for a good selection of tasty deli food or a pastry to hold you over. Stop on by if you're in Santa Margarita.

Used to love coming here for breakfast. The food quality has changed. They are doing something different with the eggs- they have a chalky taste now which makes me wonder if powdered eggs are being used- I get a sick feeling every-time I ate them so I stopped. Last week I ordered waffles & a few minutes later was told that the cooks forgot to turn on the waffle maker & it takes about 15 minutes to heat up- what the heck!!! Ordered pancakes & two of the four were not cooked all the way. Also they only serve passion fruit ice tea now- used to have green tea & regular unsweetened tea. The staff is always nice- Rosa & Martin are the best!! Just wish the food quality would go back to the way it used to be. I think the owner is cutting corners & he will lose customers because of it. My husband & I eat breakfast here every Friday- have been doing so for almost 5 yrs. so we can tell the quality has changed.

Simply put: I crave this place. Couple years ago, I live in RSM for a short period and fell in love with this place. Now, I'll drive 30 minutes just to eat here. Everything is delicious! Huevos Rancheros for Breakfast, Veggie panini with tomato bisque soup for dinner and a cupcake or cookie for dessert. I'm always surprised at how satisfied I am after eating at this gem away from central OC. Try it!

I used to work next door to Cinnamon Productions, so I went there a few times per week, but I still eat their food (by choice now). If you have time to sit down, I suggest it, because the waiting line is a little awkward, but the food is totally worth it. What you need to know: For coffees and pastries, there is a separate line. You don't have to wait in the long breakfast/lunch line if all you're getting is pastries or coffee. (This line might be "longer" but it goes faster and you get your snack right away.) I recommend their: Citrus Salad Turkey and Cranberry Sandwich Cloud Cookies Macaroons (get there early, they always sell out!) Blueberry Bran Muffins Cranberry Orange Bran Muffins Mint Mocha The "experienced" Cinnamon Rolls, when they have them, are a great deal! Dessert for your whole party at a fraction of the cost!

I love cinnamon productions and I've been going here for years! I always try to switch it up and get different items. There salads are great and I love their quiche of the day! I always get the veggie one and a cup of tomato soup. Their eggs benedict is also my favorite and it comes with a muffin. I think the people giving this place a one star are crazy. There's really nothing to not like here. Ya sometimes it's busy. what do you expect when you go in during their rush hours? Do you want to float to the front of the line and be treated like royalty? Dumb. Anyways this place is the bomb. I go here at least once a week and have NEVER had a bad experience. Except for maybe a creepy coto mom glare. :)

The scrambles are pretty good. The hash browns are pretty good in that the browning is just right. I would have preferred less white onions in the hash-browns though. The coffee is pretty good if you pick the right one. You never know which one is the good one so you have to sample them I'm pretty picky about my coffee. We've never gone there for lunch but the first time we went there on Mother's day. They do provide complimentary coffee while you wait in line so that's a nice touch. However, while I was in line with a cup of their feee coffee, the manager walked by me quickly and bumped my elbow and caused me to spill my coffee all over my shirt. He didn't notice and never apologized. It's a decent place for breakfast and I would have given the place 4 stars had I not had to wear the complimentary coffee on my shirt on Monther's day 2009.

Now, this is the second time I have been here. The first time I got the pancakes and they were fluffy and perfect. The second time it wasn't as nice as I remembered. Now, don't get me wrong, I would still go back for brunch. Still it was a bit disappointing to try their waffle. It was a bit dry and not very good. I got to finally try their baked goods, too. Perhaps, I didn't make the smartest choice, but I got the cute honeybee cupcake and amaretto mini-cake. They look visually stunning, however, they were all a bit too sweet for me. Not a bad place for breakfast, but just a bit disappointed.

First of all, we live in Mission Viejo. There are two CPs by us (the other in Foothill Ranch), but oh did we make the wrong choice of visiting the one in RSM. The line was long, but that is expected for a Saturday morning. Our 4-year-old was too hungry to wait, so we hopped into the bakery line for a quick croissant and coffee. We sat at a table for her to start eating, as one of us waited in line for the cafe food. After 5-10 minutes, we were approached by an emoloyee and were told that we had to move until we were given a number. Hold on, we have already paid and bought breakfast AND started eating. I can understand if we didn't buy anything yet, but this was not the case. (Even the customers behind me were surprised.) We tried to explain that my daughter was hungry and wanted to start breakfast before we did, and that we already paid. Nope, that wasnt even good enough. We still HAD to move. I asked to speak to a manager, and he was insistent that he was the manager. I went to the front to get a refund on our pastry and coffee, and spoke to a different manager. Got a refund, and headed to Bruxie a few steps away. There are way too many places to dine for them to treat people this way. Rude. They will NOT see another penny from my family again.

Overpriced place and rude people at the counter. No customer service skills and they don't even apologize when they get the orders wrong and they do that a LOT. Snooty people in there as well, thinking they are all that.

My impression of Cinnamon Productions was that it's a local RSM version of the Corner Bakery. If you like Corner Bakery, you will probably like Cinnamon Productions. I would give the place 3.5 stars if we had the option to give half stars, mostly because the service was very friendly. The breakfast was good, but nothing particularly spectacular, at least what we ordered. My friend and I both had the two-egg breakfast, which came with hash browns and a choice of toast or muffin. We both opted for sourdough toast. The price was what you would expect to pay in a sit-down restaurant, even though this place is order at the counter, but fortunately my friend who is a RSM resident has a BOGO free coupon, so it ended up being very reasonably priced.

  • R L.

The two stars are because the food is actually very good, and the prices are reasonable, but in no way cheap. The reason they are getting such a low score is because they have NEVER gotten my order correct. Whether I am ordering for myself, two people or an office full of people, we can count on the fact that there will a mistake. We are in no way picky, but when we say no tomatoes due to a food allergy, we expect not to have tomatoes. Conversely if we ask for avocados we expect avocados. Interestingly when we kindly asked management to take care of the situation, it suddenly became our fault. This is not the fault of the employees, but is the fault of management and a flaw in overall corporate culture. The other location does a great job, I don't understand why they cant. under.GET THE FOOD OUT RIGHT, for a restaurant that should be pretty simple. I will probably return, but I am sure something will go wrong.

Food is good, little expensive for a salad and sandwich. Salad was on the larger side with is a plus. Gets WAY too packed on the weekends, and took forever for the food to get to the table, come on its a Salad and Sandwich. OH and when you order a BLT, keep in mind its LTB, 4 pounds of lettuce, one whole tomato and 2 freak'n pieces of bacon, THIS IS AMERICA, WHERES THE BACON!!!

We have been going to Cinnamon Productions for a while now. We used to work down the street and thats how we discovered the place. Its a very nice bakery that always has an abundance of cookies, cupcakes, and sweets galore. The food here is pretty solid too. On occasion we come for breakfast and I am a fan of their breakfast burrito. But our most recent visit this weekend, we had lunch. We had the soup and salad to start (cobb salad and tomato bisque) and I had the curry chicken salad. Sounds strange right? But its delicious. The chicken salad is served on a buttery croissant. The chicken salad we creamy and savory. Its a must try, if you like chicken salad. Its great. The salad was good, but the turkey was very peppery. The tomato bisque was a little spicy. It had some kick, but it made it good. Would I go back? Yup.

I like this place , we have been going here since we moved to RSM form Mission Viejo. We started going here for lunch and dinner. I always get the chicken Panini and tomato soup, its pretty tasty! My husband like breakfast foods so we tried it out ... Really Good!! So we started ordering it to go on the weekends. Then I found you can order online!! This has saved us time ,you can just walk up and pick up your breakfast and pass the long lines in the AM!! Breakfast burritos are pretty good here!!

Below average. While the bakery might be good, the food is below average and overpriced. The orange which they say is fresh squeezed tastes awful. I had hash browns that were so raw I thought they were onions. And I asked that they be cooked extra crispy. I would come here for a bakery item, but nothing else. Oh and the refried beans, warmed in the microwave a real nice touch. I expect more when paying the amount they charge.

Eggs Benedict dripping with creamy hollandaise sauce atop a Croissant? A delicious turkey club with black forest ham & bacon with all the fixins placed perfectly between a flaky warm croissant?? CP is in your typical "upper class" suburban part of town. The prices are a bit steap, but the food is fit for a king. I've explored there menu enough to say that the food is enticing from top to bottom. To further compliment there selection I have also endulged in some of there pastries, which are also quite appealing. Theres plenty of seating here so that shouldnt be a problem, however I recomend strolling through durring a week day.. The weekends are a little hectic & time consuming. But if your like me, time cant stand in front of a pious plate! and thats what there servin at CP! If you dont take my word for it, just go check it out for yourself.. you can always thank me after your food coma :)

I only eat breakfast here and I must say that you can't go wrong with either the pancake or French toast combo. Go for the cinnamon bun French toast, it is as delicious as it sounds. Only downside is that you have to order your food before sitting down. I always get a little worried there will be nowhere to sit every time I go but so far we've had seats right away. I guess its not the best place for large parties unless you can sit outside. The dining area is not big and seating is mostly smaller tables for 4 people. It just irks me when people order a coffee and sit by themselves at a table for four just to read the Sunday paper. Dude, bring your coffee home and give the tables to people who actually want to eat at a restaurant.

Our house is a 3 minute walk from here and in the two and a half years since we moved in the food has just gotten better and better. You can't go wrong with anything on the breakfast menu, the club sandwich is very good, and this place serves the best chicken pot pie ever.

The breakfast is pretty good, far better quality food than you will get at IHOP or Denny's. My only complaint is the ordering system. This is one of those newer casual dinning restaurants where you stand in line to order, then get a table and wait for your food. If you get there early enough, ordering and seating is fine. But if you wait till after 8am forget it. People come in and sit down without having ordered, so when you look for a table after you have ordered, there's no place to sit. They've tried to not allow people in the seating area unless they have a number, but the place just gets too packed. It gets to the point where they won't even let anyone order till there is a place to sit. That leaves a bunch of people just standing around. Basically if it's after 8am, I refuse to go there. You will occasionally see sheriffs deputies eating there in the morning, so you know it's the best place in town.

I don't get all of the good reviews for this place. My husband and I went here for dinner, and I thought the food was bland and mediocre, most of the tables were not clean, and the place was run by a lot of teenagers who were kind of rude to us. What we ordered: pulled pork sandwich and chicken panini. Honestly, I had to take the chicken out of the bread and just eat the bread - the chicken was really rubbery and tough. The pulled pork sandwich was pretty flavorful but seemed as though it was not fresh at all. Super bland pasta salad. We did get a couple of cookies to go, and they were tasty. Go for the bakery and not for a meal.

I was one of the first customers through the door when they opened. I loved them then and I love them now. The food is spectacular and their cupcakes and cakes are to die for. The staff is always courteous and helpful and they always remember my name. If you want to eat at an old school bakery then Cinnamon Production is for you.

Great place for breakfast! It was crowded on a Sunday morning, but that's to be expected. I had the french toast combo with eggs, bacon and hash browns. I like their hash browns because they shred the potatoes thicker than what you would normally get at other places. I didn't care too much for their cinnamon rolls or pecan sticky buns, but their toffee cookies are criminal!

Okay... I've been to Cinnamon Productions a few times in my day. Overall I have enjoyed the food. I'd been here for breakfast a few times and I was very impressed by their eggs benedict. It's filling, the eggs are cooked perfectly and it comes with a LOT of sides! I went here for lunch with my sister yesterday though, and it was oh-so-average (at best). My sister and I both ordered the half sandwich half soup combo. I got the 1/2 B.L.T. with avocado and a tomato bisque for my soup. My sister tried the ham, pear and swiss panini with the tomato bisque. We got a table and were SUPER hungry... I was really excited because I have always loved their breakfasts, so how bad could the lunch be? With a look of dismay, the first thing my sister said after biting into her panini was, "This isn't exactly what I was expecting". Her ham was like the processed crap that Oscar Meyer (or whoever) makes. I thought for the price we paid they would at least serve quality meat. It was slimy, smooth and gross. Also, My B.L.A.T. was so BLA... there was SO MUCH MAYO... gross. And 75% of the bites I took had no bacon at all. I just feel totally ripped off because I paid for something that I could have made better at home. On the upside, the tomato bisque was delicious. I won't lie... I'll probably be back for breakfast because they really do have that down. I doubt I'll ever come back for lunch though.

This review is solely based on the service, not the food. I was unable to try the food because the service was so terrible that I left. I did not want to give this establishment my business. With the casual and a family environment, I thought it would be a good place for my family and I to have breakfast/brunch on a Saturday at 10am. The place was pretty busy with a line at the door (the food must be good, or service was slow?). While my fiance waited in line to order, I attempted to find a table because I had two small children with me. The attendant bussing tables informed me that I could not take a seat until I had a number after ordering, and that has been the rule for a long time. Huh? I don't care if that was the rule since yesterday! Why is that relevant? What was the point of that system? You can't take a table until you've ordered? What if you order and there are no seats left? I suppose they are attempting to capture all the business they can although they can't accommodate to seat you. Overall, the service was not efficient nor accommodating. If you're OK with eating while you stand, then go for it. If not, find an alternative brunch cafe.

A bit pricey but the portions are big enough to split (especially if you get a muffin on the side). The dishes are always consistent and the service is great. I highly recommend the Eggs Benedict. It comes with two eggs on a croissant which gives it a unique and sweeter flavor than the norm. The muffins are always fresh and quite large. Best breakfast place by far in the area.

Pastries in their bakery kicks major butt. I enjoyed the Amaretto (cake) which was light yet sweet to your taste buds. Buying stuff in the bakery area I find is a hit-and-miss. I had recently visit there again for a 2nd visit. Despite a lack-luster of customers, it took them about 20 minutes for my blended coffee drink to be done. While everybody was enjoying their deserts from strawberry cheesecake and snickers cheesecake pie, it was noticeable a long wait especially when there were no other customer being served. However, they are a made-to-order type restaurant and quality is nothing less than great. Although, I do find the prices to be in the high-end particularly for their salads at $8-9 per plate. They offer a good range of lunch which do look appetizing. Ambiance fairly casual and great for a late afternoon snack with your significant other (better or not). Until I see more consistency (or inconsistency) with their service. I will leave at 4-stars as food quality rates up there for their pastries only.

The service is the worst around and the store manager sets the example. The food is really good but be on guard for over charging wrong orders and extremely slow service. If you are feeling very patient and forgiving and have no where to be for the next hour and a half it is a good lunch stop.

I've only been there for deserts. Decent selection. Walk-up service, prices are in the $4-5 each range. Side note: there's a running joke among friends because of the name. It sounds like an African-American porn company.

This place rocks! I went there this morning for a quick breakfast and was very happy with my meal. I ordered the veggie breakfast wrap which is delicious and very filling, you could definitely share this dish and I would recommend it unless you have a big appetite. The only thing I dislike about this place is they only offer flour tortillas. For people with a wheat allergy you are very limited with options. This could easily be fixed if they added a few more options. Other than that it was great and I will be back next time I'm in RSM.

One of my favorite casual places in Rancho. They also have opened a new location in Ladera Ranch. My favorites are the breakfast burrito, the veggie panini at lunch time, any of the salads. Tuna sandwich is also great. Their vanilla nut coffee is delish! Perfect for a casual meal.

My neighbors raved about the place so we finally tried it. I was not impressed. Not worth the extra couple miles over other options closer to home. The pastries and deserts look good, but I only tried the cinnamon bun, which was just OK. Nothing special. I went for the eggs Benedict which is a favorite of mine, and had reasonable expectations, but I was disappointed. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and the use of a croissant was novel, but they used two slices of black forest ham from Costco for the meat! I know this sandwich meat well because I buy it at Costco all the time. Sandwich meat on Benedict at a highly rated restaurant for 8 bucks a serving? That's just wrong... Mimi's Cafe always serves a nice ham steak - far superior to this one. Other people raved about the hash browns but I found them to be nothing special and quite typical really. Kind of tasteless actually. The complimentary coffee while waiting in line was barely warm. And the whole waiting in line and then waiting to sit is annoying. The place is too small - it's attractive and clean enough, though, but nothing special. Also, getting up to serve your self coffee after every cup is annoying. Even the most threadbare diner has someone roam around refilling coffee. We rarely do breakfast, but when we do, I don't mind splurging a little in terms of calories and fat...I''ll take Paul's Pantry for their awesome chicken fried steak every time over this place. We probably wont go back anytime soon.

I love this place! The food here is NEVER disappointing! The Tomato Bisque is just plain happiness in my mouth! I used to work nearby at the one in RSM and was introduced to it by my coworkers. The Mixed Citrus Salad is sooo good! The blend of the strawberries, candied pecans and apples on top of mixed greens and cheese with the citrus dressing is to die for! The cinnamon roll (with or without pecans) is also a winner! I usually get it heated. My boyfriend loves the breakfast scramble and the chocolate croissants there and the mini pastries are just, simply put, amazing. They have lunch specials for half soup/salad/sandwich combos which are reasonably priced and healthy. They just recently opened up a new location in mission viejo where Pacific Whey Cafe used to be and that place is busy too. I never get to go there regularly, but its a treat when I do! It is so worth every dollar because everything here is so good!

A very popular breakfast stop where you can get tasty (and somewhat pricey) pastries. Menu includes nice omelettes, French toast etc. Also, breakfast comes with your choice of a tasty muffin. The cinnamon rolls are pure indulgence. Breakfast is the best meal to go for - lunch is just ok with some average sandwiches. Although on the weekends there is quite a wait for a table, you can always get something from the espresso bar as you wait or just grab a pastry to go. I think in general the staff mediocre and occasionally completely incompetent, but its not enough to ruin the experiance. This is a great little cafe to have in the area and a good option for family breakfast or a quick lunch with a friend, or just to pick up a special treat to go.

I have been a customer for years, and I've always felt the same way about this place. Let's start with customer service...it always has been lacking and always will be but I don't blame the owner/manager. He's a great guy and when he is there he always does his best to take care of things, BUT, in a business like he has, with the coffee shop/bakery side of things he will never be employing people who have a ton of experience in customer service. That's just the name of the game with a business like this, no career waitress or waiter or anyone excelling in customer service works behind the counter at a bakery unless you happen to own the place or are the cake decorator. The typical employee is either in high school or college and just working for some money to spend at the mall. I get it. Cinnamon Productions totally makes up for this with their product. Their breakfast menu is phenomenal. Both price and quality are way beyond IHOP and Dennys. However, certain things on the menu are a bit steep in price, but overall, very reasonable. As far as the lunch and dinner menus go, I can't really comment on much beyond the Tomato Bisque soup. 7 Stars out of 5 on the soup. I've ordered numerous cakes from CP and have yet to be disappointed. They are reasonable in price and the cake decorators are so talented. Not to mention the cakes themselves are moist and tasty. Last but not least, the baked goods....It's hard to really be great or amazing with baked goods I feel like. There's either good or horrible. and CP's are good. All that having been said, I have been a regular customer since this place opened and am very very excited to know that they have a second location and are opening a third soon. 4 stars!

So I've never actually been inside Cinnamon Productions, but I was lucky enough to receive several brownies from a drug rep at work. No, not those kind of brownies! These were way better! My favorite was the Reese's brownie. Yes, you read that right. The top was covered with smushed up Reese's peanut butter cups and all the brownies were ginormous. I also tried a little Oreo brownie, which was also good. And I still have half of a turtle brownie waiting for me. From the other reviews, I don't think I would go here for breakfast, but I will be stopping by for more brownies!

So, here's my updated review after my disappointing experience written below. After I sent a the below review to the corporation, I received a letter of apology and they did make me feel like my opinion mattered to them. They promise that if I needed a cake in the future that I can be personally and solely assisted by the manager. The pastries are pretty decent here but the employees still don't seem all that warm to me but I'm not sure if I'm biased from my previous experience. In conclusion: Tasty delights but overall customer service is meh. Recently, I tried to have a custom cake made for a dear friend of mine for her birthday. I called early in the week to ask how to go about this and the cost. I was put on hold 4 different times before someone could get back me but when somebody who knew got back to me, I was told that I only needed to give a minimum of two days notice to have this cake made. I went into the store in the middle of the same week around 2:00pm to go over what I wanted done for the cake. I was asked to wait to see if the cake decorator was in however she/he was not. I was told that if I want a custom cake I should come before 1pm. I really wish someone had mentioned to me on the phone. Unfortunately this was my only day off and I asked if there was any way I could leave my request with the girl so she could give it to the cake decorator the next day. She said, " Sorry, only the decorators can have that information so we don't mess anything up." I told her about my bind and she just shrugs! No sorry, not an ounce like she cared. Then I asked when is the latest I could send in the request so that it would be ready by Sunday afternoon. She said Friday before 1pm. I was determined to have this cake made because my friend loves your store's pastries. I had another friend come by Friday morning to give instructions. The cake decorator was rude and said she didn't know who told us that if we came in by Friday before 1pm that a cake could be done by Sunday afternoon. The cake decorator went on to say that they were tied up because they needed to work on a wedding cake. No apologies just annoyed from our request. I can understand that if there was an important project that needed to be done and we needed to give more notice but please let every employee know this that way I can give better notice. I am beyond appalled with the service. I will not be coming back. I just hope that there will be some changes made so nobody else has to deal with such disappointment in the future.

i really like this place. only con i have is that the cashier is waaaay too slow. they have two registers and during busy hour, there's only one person....go figure? anyway, i've never eaten breakfast here but friends tell me it's yummy. i always go during lunch for their albacore tuna sandwich. the bread isn't your regular dry sour dough, it's this thick, soft cinnamon raisin bread that i believe they bake themselves. you can get the 1/2 sandwich or the full. it comes w/ chips, cold pasta or fruit. for a couple more bucks, you can add a bowl of soup. try the tomato bisque. soooo good. their iced tea is yummy too. i compare them to corner bakery but better. they have a coffee bar and a whole plethora of baked goods such as cookies, muffins, cakes, cup cakes, etc... on a nice day, it's great to sit outside on the patio too. you can bring your dog out in the patio. i'm not 100% sure but i saw some girl holding a puppy in her lap while eating.

when you walk into cinnamon productions, the aroma of fresh baked goods just takes over! my cousin and i come here for lunch! so good!! they are a little like corner bakery. i like the half sandwich and salad! their food is oh so fresh and so good! also, if you love iced tea, you will love theirs! it's peach, sandalwood iced tea! delicious and refreshing on a hot day! had great service! people were very friendly and accommodating! they have a huge baked goods area! i myself haven't tried anything from there, but my cousins and hubby loved their cheesecakes and brownies! my hubby had a snickers cheesecake, said it was one of the best he tasted! they are generous with their portions and reasonably priced!

I visited Cinnamon Prod a couple times in the past week or so. The first time was at around 7:30 am and it was pretty much the business crowd grabbing their coffee before heading to lunch. The second time I went at 10am and it was the total hang out for all the RSM moms who just dropped off the kids at school. "Not that there's anything wrong with that" but it was packed. We did find a couple comfortable seats. I liked the great selection of bakery items offered and the food tasted pretty good. It was nothing to write home about per se but I enjoyed it. The service staff was very friendly to me so that kind of bumps up my review to 4 stars. All in all, I don't think its worth making a special trip here, but for a local joint with good food and a comfortable open atmosphere, it's great.

The food is really good here. It can take a little while to actually get a table though because you order your food at the register and THEN sit down. But, I think if you've got some time on your hands, then come here and eat breakfast :)

My mom loves this place and we visit it often for lunch when I am visiting from the Bay Area. The pastry case filled with goodies always looks delicious but I have as of yet to sample one of it's confections. The sandwiches are good and decent size. The line never seems to be too long when we go but the service does tend to lag and I have on more than one occasion had to clear my own table.

i love this place. they have amazing service and the food is great. i live in ladera ranch now and i am happy that they opened a location here that is just as good. the food is excellent and i love that you can just walk in and buy one of their cookies or desserts with out any wait.

The bakery goods are amazing. The service is good. Some of the portions are not too big and they don't use bread instead they use croissants. I really like this place and feel that they get how to make cookies and cakes.

Pretty decent neighborhood food especially since RSM isn't flooded with good restaurants. I like it for lunches - usually I get a half salad/soup combo. The Cobb Salad is pretty yummy (but sometimes they forget to give me dressing which is kind of annoying). The tomato bisque is quite tasty and very hearty. Service is not the best - it's a bunch of high school kids who run the place, but for a quick bit in the neighborhood - it does its job.

A local favorite. Everyone i know loves this place and calls it their go-to cafe. Never had a bad meal. I like to think of myself as a tomato soup connoisseur and this place tops the charts with theirs. Its served every day...thank god. Great paninis, club sandwich, breakfasts, and desserts. super crowded on the weekends!

I've been to Cinnamon Productions before and each time I feel about the same. Full but a little disappointed. I woke up pretty early this morning and was instantly aware of how hungry I was. I consciously decided to yelp something and this place came to mind. It's been about a year since I was there so my option was clear, I had to go back and eat before I could say anything. I rolled in around 8:30 and the place was already packed. That's usually a good sign, but with Rancho it really doesn't say much other than there's not too many other places to go. Right away, after putting my name in, I was aggravated by how the place is laid out. They sort of filter you down into this cafeteria style line that serves as bakery pick up and then to view the menu board and order. Also in this line is serve-it-yourself coffee and drinks, lids, condiments, etc. So not only are people there ordering you also have patrons coming back to get refills and what not. It's very crowed and you're dodging people in both directions and that's just dumb. Pour choice guys. You have a decent amount of room there.. rethink this one. Also, I'd recommended getting a faster person on the register where you place your order. There's only one, which makes it understandable why you have a "hostess" who does nothing but decide when people are able to get into line, but the dude would do things like ask how you want your eggs after you'd already told him in your original order, repeat your order back to you unnecessarily, just all sorts of little things that add a lot of time to getting out of there and to your seat. The frustration was noticeable on everyones face, not just my snobby self. The food. The food is alright. I've only come here for breakfast so I can't speak for their lunch and dinner. They have a coffee bar right when you walk in so I had a very weak and flavorless cappuccino. The girl serving it looked pissed to be there. I mentioned sarcastically that she looked happy, and she just sort of nodded in agreement. So I sipped that, waited to be "seated," and looked over the menu. What jumped out at me was the french toast combo. But not just any french toast.. cinnamon roll french toast (add 50 cents).. it comes with eggs which I had over easy, potatoes or fruit, I had potatoes, sausage or bacon, I had sausage, and slice of cantaloupe. OK... What they did well: The hash browns were bomb. Usually I only go for the hash browns if I have room left.. but they looked really good; thick cuts of potato, so I tried those first. They didn't let me down. So much so that I finished those with my eggs before even trying the french toast. They were buttery and warm, perfectly cooked, and not too greasy. Well done on those, guys. The eggs over easy. Well cooked and yoke was still runny, which I love, and they mixed great into the delicious hash browns. OJ. Fresh squeezed, very tasty. What they didn't do well: The french toast. It was good but it was just too much. Too sweet for my tastes. I know that I had the cinnamon roll style so that's understandable, but even still it was nothing special. I didn't finish it and I needed a glass of water when I was done. The syrup. Individual packets of Aunt Jemima? Really? How classy. Gimme some warm syrup in a glass bottle that you guys have filled yourself, please. I understand it's messy, but I also understand that you have people there who you pay to clean up. I just paid you 13 bucks for a meal, the least you can do is give me syrup in a bottle, not a little plastic tub that you get with french toast sticks at Carls Jr. The sausage. I've seen less processed, cheap looking sausage at Denny's. Sure, it tasted alright, but it just looked bad. All and all I left full, but I wouldn't say this is worth all the mad rush in the morning. There's hope, but definitely a lot of room for improvement.

This is a great spot for sandwiches, salads, and baked goods. They have the cutest cupcakes, themed for special occassions. They're opening a location in Ladera Ranch in June, 2010, and we can't wait! Their citrus salad is my favorite salad, though I don't understand the name of the salad - since there isn't anything citrus-sy about it...

Tuna sandwich is the best I've had in my life. Yeah, service needs resuscitation. Call in my order and I'm usually fine, though. Seriously, tuna sandwich. Oooh - Asian Chicken Salad is bomb.com .

After driving by this place a few times, the cute name always catching my eye, my boyfriend and I decided to have breakfast here and check this place out. First off, this place is a pretty popular local breakfast hangout. In saying this I'm telling you to prepare to wait. If you want to sit down first you have to put your name in. Then after that, they call your name you have to wait in a cafeteria like line until you get to the cashier to order your food. At this point you are given a number and seated. If you're really hungry it's quite hard to do all this waiting in the yummy smelling restaurant. But, after your seated their pretty quick with your order. I would definitely recommend the breakfast burrito, and anything from the bakery counter, especially the cinnamon rolls. On occasion I have come here, only to decide I don't want to wait. So I just get some cinnamon rolls to go......perfectly happy.

I love this place. . . I've turned a lot of friends and family on to here and will continue going even though I've moved to Irvine and it's about a 20 minute drive. This has become a meeting spot for us and the food continues to be great. I take grandma here when we have lunch dates and we usually split their Citrus Salad and Tuna Sandwich. I'm not a huge fan of Tuna (super particular) but they do it as a melt of their Cinnamon Raisin bread and it is amazing (great flavor combo). Grams has coffee and with both entrees we get out spending about $22 and are completely stuffed after lunch. Be careful as everyone else says their is a definite breakfast and lunch rush and you might have to wait. . .I highly recommend it :)

Since you never know what traffic is going to be like in So. CA, I left San Diego extra early to make it to a meeting in RSM. Of course, I hit NO traffic and got into town almost 90 minutes early. What the hell was I going to do at 6:45am in a town totally foreign to me? Find a parking lot, sit in the vehicle and read my book. I pulled in, saw this place was open and thought: bakery=fresh coffee! In I went. I don't eat eggs (hate them, the smell alone makes me want to hurl) so the breakfast sandwiches and entrees were out. Not a big fan of sweets, so I didn't really want a cinnamon roll or danish. That left me with muffins, or a croissant. I have a (baaaad) nut allergy, and the girl behind the counter was very sweet, but couldn't tell me if they make nut muffins and non nut muffins at the same time/in the same area/same pans, etc. so I opted for the croissant and a coffee. The croissant was flakey on the outside as it should be, but even though it was freshly baked, it was oddly dry inside, and not at all the texture I'm used to when eating a croissant. I'm not saying it was bad, just not what I expected. The coffee was good, the girl who took my order was a doll, and it was a great place to kill time. I can't say I'll be back, but only because I don't live here.

Wow! I must say a few years ago this place did not impress me. I gave it a try about 6 months ago and W O W! Their Breakfast items are cost friendly and ample portions and fabulous... Lunch.. Citrus Salad, awesome. Paninis, the best..... Specialty soups to die for. and last but not least THE FAMOUS RED VELVET CUPCAKE. I am a RED VELVET CUPCAKE SNOB and know my cupcakes. These are the best, highest quality and most decadent I have ever had. SO GOOD that I gave them up for LENT! GASP. Just wait till EASTER.. HERE I COME. L O V E CINNAMON PRODUCTIONS!!!!!!!!!

I haven't been in a while, as it was always sooooo busy for breakfast., but I do LOVE it and the bakery cakes and cookies are so yummy! Ohhh and they have the BEST coffee, I drink it black, so I am pretty picky. I need to visit again soon!

I'll echo what another customer said about the tables always being dirty. I see this every time I go there in the evening. I mean EVERY time. You have to ask someone to clean the dishes off a table so you can sit. I don't understand why it's always like this? Seems like a pretty easy problem to rectify. Anyhow, this is primarily a breakfast or lunch spot. The baked goods are always fresh and tasty. The breakfast is a little expensive for what you get, but the lunch/dinner (same menu) is pretty typical. The service is horrendous, though. Being an "order at the counter" type place, tips aren't necessary, nor are they earned.

I'm amazed this place has decent reviews. In fact, I'm amazed it's still in business. We went there twice, a year apart. The second time was to see why it was still around. Our experience was extremely slow service, mediocre food for prices that seemed a bit high. But the topper was the service. There were only a handful of customers, yet every table was dirty. In the hour-plus we were there, not a single table was cleaned. (This is both times we went.) Staff stayed behind the counter chatting. There didn't seem to be a manager. The place was filthy when we came and when we left. Getting the attention of anyone on staff was difficult. Since there are some good reviews, I might consider returning, but after two really awful experiences, we're kind of afraid of this place.

Everything is great! Simple, good, consistent selections of breakfast, lunch, and dessert selections. Stick to the unhealthy stuff. Keep the healthy stuff like salads to high end restaurants and home cooking.

Recently got them to make me a bananna cream pie for hubby for our anniversary-tasty and inexpensive-$10! Love their baked goodies.
