This is a newer Starbucks so it has good food options. The only problem is that it's super busy which means you will wait for quite a while for your drink. The counter person was just ok. Kinda spaced out, but she was friendly. 1 star loss just because of the wait time.

So I work at another Starbucks location so I know Starbucks works. I know the level of customer service is expected. First, I ordered through the drive thru initially. I didn't get a greeting of a "hello, how are you doing" or even a simple "hello". I just heard, "what would you like?". I specifically said, "May I please get 3 trenta green teas with light ice?" "2 unsweetened and 1 with 2 pumps of mango syrup". And yes I understand it is a drive thru, but I had to repeat myself about 5 times. So I drove up to the window to pay for my drinks to see that the barista didn't have their hair tied up and the barista giving me my drink had the most attitude while telling me the partner number I had given him didn't match my ID. We drove off to find out the unsweetened ice teas were sweetened. So we drove back to get our drinks fixed, then when we asked to get the drink fixed, the same barista with the untied hair had rolled her eyes and began to make the drink. My friend politely reminded her to put light ice in the drinks and the barista rudely said "I know". When we handed us the drinks, she said "here" with the most attitude. Side note: They love to talk to each than give great customer service, or any service at all. I wish I could give a zero rating.

Waited on the drive thru for 15 mins. Got to the speaker and ordered 2 Fraps. She said they are out of whip cream. I said never mind (how can u enjoy a Frappuccino without whip cream? ) I was so bummed. I wasted my time in that drive thru line. It's okay, no big deal. But.... Then I got to the window, I JOKINGLY said, " How can you guys ran out of whip cream?" She got so annoyed by that question and said.."uhm, because we use them?!" This is with a "duh" look on her face. No shit, you use them, a lot for that matter. It was 430 pm and you close at 10pm...stock 'em up. Lucky Supermarket is right across, grab like 5 cans or something. It's like buying a pair of running shoes at Nike Store and they don't come with shoelaces. Kill me.

Was $3.75 for a tall mocha and $2.75 for a toasted chocolate croissant worth it? Yeah...just don't let the toast wear off. Most times it's better to just order it not toasted.

Love this place! They always fulfill my complicated requests! Brewed to perfection ! Only reason why I give it 4 stars is I'm always on the go, and I stop by to get some coffee through their drive thru. Trust me their drive thru is always very long and it takes a while to move..

I love this Starbucks! I work around the corner so I come in here at least 3 times a week. The staff is so nice and friendly. The drive thru is usually packed in the morning so I always go inside. I'm usually picking up drinks for my office, so i'm the annoying girl in line with multiple complicated orders and different forms of payment. I know if i was behind me I would hate me! But, the staff is so understanding and they never try and rush me. They're as fast as they can be with the amount of orders they have at a time. I never find myself waiting too long! They're open late, til 10 PM. It's also a great place to study! As far as ordering goes, I love the cinnamon dolce latte and since it's the holidays, the creme brulee latee is BOMB!

ridiculously slow drive thru. Coffee is good, waiting is BAD! 15+ minutes every time "/

If this is the Starbucks that is across from Hometown Buffet, then here is what I have to say: Does it take 10 minutes to warm up a croissant? I did not buy a drink, why do I have to wait 10 for them to give me my croissant? They also served someone else before me! I was so irritated. I will never go to this one again Ugghh.....

Almost 15 minutes for a coffee with nobody in the store and only one car ahead of me that only ordered 2 coffees . UNACCEPTABLE, late for work ..thanks Starbucks Pinole

Pretty nice employees, good coffee for the most part . But the wait and the fact that they dont seem to be apologetic after ignoring you for at least 3 mins at drive thru.

Every time I go the baristas are super-friendly and have a great attitude! I just moved here recently and it's truly the best one I've ever been to in terms of the employees.

I am not much of a Starbucks person but sometimes there are those days where one just needs a quick coffee. There is nothing special about Starbucks so I won't be reviewing their coffee but I will definitely write about the location. This Starbucks is located next to KFC and across from a Luckys. There is plenty of parking so that is not an issue here any time of the day or hour. The location is bigger than most Starbucks locations, so there are plenty of tables and chairs to sit at. Of course, there are occasionally times when this area will be more busy than usual but that is to be expected. Of course there is free WiFi, for any students or for people who just want to use the internet and not kill their data usage. If you want to avoid a crowd, I usually go on the weekends, late, like on a Sunday an hour before they close. Week day mornings and weekends during the day you can usually find people here. As far as the staff goes here, they all seem pretty nice and get your order correct, which for a lot of people is very crucial. The place is usually always clean and kept organized and well stocked, which is always nice when you are in a rush to get out the door. Overall this location is definitely in my top 3 locations to go to, to get a coffee, meet up with someone here or simply to use wifi.

I meant to yelp this Starbucks ages ago (okay maybe 2 months ago). We pull into the drive-thru and we thought it was taking an unusually long time for the car ahead of us to order, then it's our turn. When we pull up to the speaker, no one says anything. My fiance says "hello" a few times, then just waits patiently. I told him that the speaker must be broken because there's no reason that MINUTES would go by and no one would say a word. FINALLY, someone says "what can i get for you?" no apology for the wait or anything. My fiance asks if their tea is loose leaf (idk why he asked, he already knows because we've ordered tea there) and the guy goes "uhh well it's in a bag." okkkaaayyyyy. Then he asks how much their bagels are and the guy tells him to hold on, he took like 3 minutes to figure it out. By that time we had already agreed that we would just go to Noahs. Then we get up to the window and they argue with me about the size I ordered. I said "the biggest one" and they gave me a grande. They just argued that that's not what I said instead of making me what I actually wanted. Then the girl that's arguing with me just storms off while I'm in the middle of talking and a guy "helps me." Then, they close their little window without giving me a straw and look at me like I'm an idiot when I sit there waiting for them to re-open their window. When they finally do open their window and I ask for a straw, she speaks no words and hands me a straw with the nastiest look on her face. Not my first bad experience here, but definitely my last. This is exactly why I prefer Peets.

There's nothing bad nor is there anything exceptional about this location, although I feel that the drive thru service can be slower than usual. I suppose it depends in who's working. I've never had any problems with my drinks though. There was one exception of the barista giving me the incorrect size, but she quickly made me another drink and let me keep the other as well. As for the flavors, I've been satisfied with everything I've had. All my frappes have been blended well, and when I ask for extra caramel, they really do put extra. The staff is very friendly here; I have no complaints about them at all.

I've been going to this Starbucks for about 15 years. The service is great and baristas are the best. Today, I saw a homeless person trying to get a cup of coffee. He was right behind me and I was going to treat him. As I was going to ask what he wanted. Steve the manager and his team gave him a coffee, food, a newspaper and extra drink for the road. Humanity still exists and everyone should be respected with best service. I salute this Starbucks and commend them on their kind heart.

This location is a joke lol. I used to go here all the time because my friend worked here but it seems like everyone else in this location is incompetent. Went here for my lunch break with my coworker and waited about 20 minutes for our 3 drinks. The girl was taking her sweet ass time and still managed to get people's orders wrong. Our drinks finally came so we take them to our car, once we get there one of our drinks spilled all over on my coworker. The lid wasn't put on properly, seriously lol. so I go back in w the fucked up drink while my coworker is cleaning the coffee from her car and on her clothes(we're on our lunch break so we have a time limit) go back in tell some dude w a ear piece one of the workers didn't put on the lid properly and made a shit ass mess, he doesn't even care acting like I'm making a big deal out of it like really!!! My coworker has to go back to work in coffee stained clothes because of one of you dumbasses!!! So some guy is remaking our drink and he was being really quick bout it while multitasking, thank you for doing your job you need a promotion. Still see the girl who fucked up taking her sweet ass time while managing to mess up on another order. Who hires these people this is the weirdest starbucks location ever. Drive thru takes hella long same with the inside smh.

This particular Starbucks is hit or miss. Today was a huge miss. I ordered a kids hot chocolate and a venti iced white mocha in the drive thru. First, she thought I ordered two kids drinks. No. The car in front of me at the window took forever...I could tell they were getting an order fixed. When it was my turn, she handed me a grande mocha. When I told her I ordered a venti, she proceeded to dump the drink into a venti cup and add more milk to it. Fail, crappy barista. The venti comes with another shot. Thanks for trying to rip me off.

NO (ran out) nonfat milk, NO (ran out) salt for the salted caramel mocha! That SUCKS! Also ran out of stoppers for to go orders!

This Starbucks has an environment more suited for work/study than socializing, and that's why I come here from El Sobrante even though there are three or four other locations on the way. It's small like many of the other Sbux in the area. I literally come here for the cushy seating area which keeps my tushy comfortable throughout my study/work session. It helps that there are plenty of outlets there as well. Aside from that, it's just your average Starbucks. If you plan on getting work done here during busy evening hours, keep in mind it gets loud. Oh, and bring something warm to wear. The a/c is bumpin at nights!

    (3)
  • Libby D.

Drive thru sucks, every time I come here there is a huge line. I have to admit though they make their drinks pretty good and they are friendly. Not sure why the delay though... It's 11:00am none rush hour!

Drive thru is slooooow..!!! Well of course it is, this location is always busy. The employees work hard. I haven't ran into any problems here. I get what I order....Thanks!

Worse starbucks I've probably been too and I'm a partner. I used my starbucks app for my partner numbers and the guy at the window wasn't paying attention and thought I was paying with the app and I specifically said it was my partner numbers. They weren't paying attention at all and messed up on my drink which is a caramel brûlée latte with soy and light whip....the shots were expired. And when I asked if he used my partner numbers he said oh..no. He didn't even offer to fix it or anything he just turned around to talk to his co-workers again. This isn't the first time they have messed up on my drink either. But if you want to get better starbucks quality I suggest going to another store.

  • David G.

Tried to make this a private matter by contacting Starbucks directly but they've not acknowledged my feedback so I'm assuming they didn't get it or don't care. Last week I went into this Starbucks and ordered a Grande Latte. I was served a Venti Latte. Not wanting to get the person in trouble, I informed her that I had ordered a Grande not a Venti but that I'd be willing to pay the difference. What she should have done was just ask me if I minded just accepting the Venti since it was larger anyway. What she actually did do was take the coffee from my hand (yes, I was holding it and she took it), pour it out, throw the cup in the garbage and proceed to make me wait another 3 minutes for a new one. Not only did she waste the resources that went into that Venti but she made me wait another 3 minutes while my roommate was waiting for me in the car. This was a very negative experience that ruined my evening.

Worst Starbucks in the area. If you can avoid it, please do so. The services via the drive thru is sadly lacking. The barista who assisted me on Saturday morning was completely unprofessional. I will definitely not be coming back to this location.

Great place for a quick coffee and pastry. We love the White chocolate Mocha with a croissant ,almond or plain. Try the banana bread , it is fantastic . They always have a line at the drive thru, but it goes pretty quickly. Very pleasant staff.

I pulled up to the window, informed the lady I had a free drink thanks to my app, and ordered my drink. I went to the window, pulled up my app showed her the screen to scan for my free drink and she says "ph can you clear the screen" on the screen said congrats you get a coffee on us. I cleared it, she scanned my phone and it charged me. I said oh it charged me, it was supposed to be my free coffee. She said "oh you didn't tell me that" Not only did I tell her at the drive through, but she also saw the screen on my phone. I didn't mind paying, although I wouldn't have got a med, I would have gotten a small. But its the fact that she obviously didn't pay attention to anything about me ordering. Never even apologized.

I like coming here because the customer service is always so friendly and they are always so fast to making my drinks.

I order from the drive through and specifically ordered 2 "ICE" caramel macchiato, one with an extra shot and caramel. When we pulled up and paid for the drinks, the guy handed us hot drinks. I told him we had ordered ICE drinks. He asked us if it was a girl that took our order and we told him yes (He looked disappointed as if she's been fucking up on orders). The lady soon came to the window, with her little attitude telling me I need to speak directly or clearly or whatever the fuck she said into the mic. She never apologize for her own miscommunication and to top it off she has the worst customer service EVER!

When I can't get my blue bottle caffeine fix, I opt for Starbucks. This Starbucks location has an efficient drive thru and you can get your drinks quickly. The in-store experiences have declined in the past few months. It seems that some employees hate their jobs, and forget to to add the cups to the cue. I've waited for drinks over 20 minutes here and they aren't even busy. The baristas just give me a lazy apology. Anyways if you decide to come here, use the drive thru..it will take you ages if you decide to go inside the store.

    (2)
  • Kirsten C.

This drive-thru is horrible. They are incredibly slow. The last two times I went in the drive-thru it took 15-20 minutes to get to the window and there were maybe 4 or 5 people ahead of me. They also seem incompetent. My drink was sitting there - I was staring at it - while employees stood there talking to each other before someone finally handed it to me. Not going to this one again. Horrible.

  • Michelle M.

This drive thru SUCKS! BIG TIME! takes way too long.... they really need to work on pushing thru the line in the morning rush hour... but then again - there could be 2 cars in front of me & it still takes 20 mins - what happened to the free coffee if u wait 7 mins after u ordered or whatever?

This Starbucks is my favorite one. The baristas are very friendly even during rush hour when it's super busy . and they make my drink perfect everytime . No complaints . one time they didnt have my drink in stock which is very popular , its the passion tea lemonade. My all time fave boost of natural caffeine. Anyhow they gave me a free drink card becuase they didnt have it. Not all Starbucks do that .love this location

How do I begin? A guy at the register asked me 3 times what my order was. He kept forgetting what I ordered (Coffee and cheese Danish). And I had my own cup and he did not give me a cup discount. Who trains these folks?

This is my local Starbucks, so I come here consistently. The staff here are friendly and efficient. They recently got new furniture I like. I come here to work on some days, and it's a good atmosphere. The clincher for me is always the consistency of the drinks - these guys knock it out of the park every time. I avoid Starbucks locations that can't make my caramel macchiato the same way every time - for $4.35, I better know what I am getting! Great job at this location!

I wish I could give this Starbucks a higher rating; however, the service I encountered tonight warrants it 0 stars (it is only getting 1 for its furniture and ambiance). I ordered a Salted Caramel Mocha FRAPPUCCINO. I received a salted caramel mocha hot coffee. I stood up at the counter saying "excuse me" extremely politely about 4 times to just be greeted with dirty looks (and there were 3 women, or should I say girls, behind the counter). Finally, one of them comes up to the counter to give someone else their drinks and she is forced to listen to me. "Excuse me," I say, "I ordered a Salted Caramel Mocha Frappuccino." She replies with a crude and accusatory, "did you say that at the register?" When I reply with a yes, she walks away without saying anything in a hissy fit sort of fashion and five minutes later returns with the drink I ordered and she does not say anything. I used to like this Starbucks but after being treated like this, I do not know if I will ever return here.

I will never be back. I got to work 25 minutes early, I work across the street. SOO tired, all I want is an iced coffee, no cream no sugar.. Cup. Ice. Already brewed coffee. Lid. Easy right? Wrong. It took the new kid who was at the register taking orders 15 minutes to get 3 orders.. C'mon champ. It's not rocket science. Then he doesn't make me the iced coffee.. It's so simple! Every other Starbucks cashier does the already brewed coffee righ then and there. I wait another ten minutes before I finally leave without my beverage. I'm just livid. THE WORST customer service and on top of that all the girls making drinks are hammin It up taking their sweet ass pimp time. Unacceptable. Luckily the lady behind me is an angel an brings my coffee to me A t work 15, YES 15 minutes later. 0 stars if I could

Since I already fell in love with one Bay Area Starbucks (San Pablo Ave, in Richmond), I can only think of this one as the "other" Starbucks. It's also great - fast service, my drink has always been made correctly, friendly employees. But that's about it. I see it more as a grab-and-go Starbucks, rather than a sit-and-relax one. It's very quiet inside, with some seating and a few tables. I definitely prefer the San Pablo location for the experience, but this location is a great for a quick stop while doing errands.

  • Raji R.

Reasons why I love this location: 1) Drivethru - Super quick. 2) Service - they always have extraordinarily efficient and polite workers. 3) Drinks - they have NEVER messed up on my order. 4) Interior - clean + quiet. I'm SOLD.

  • M Janine B.

This used to be a great Starbucks...the only one I would come to in the area but not anymore. The customer service is horrible and I dont see my regular baristas anymore. They make your drinks the way they want to, not how you asked. I think I was praying for it to not be so but tonight was the 3rd time, so I am done.

This is the closest Starbucks to me with a drive thru and boy oh boy! Their service is great for the most part don't get me wrong but it's happened now twice that I go thru the drive thru and I try paying with my iPhone app and they tell me to get down and go pay inside! Ok like what the heck is that? They invented the darn app for a reason, an what's the difference between taking my phone inside or out. I just find this to be really absurd! Any other Starbucks takes my phone.

I crave a coffee drink maybe every six weeks or so. Yesterday was one of those days. When given the choice, I like to choose something other than Starbucks but this Starbucks is just so darn convenient with its drive-thru. I drove through yesterday heading east, back to my office after a meeting. It is perfect because you just follow the street parallel to the freeway so it isn't really that out of the way and then you just hope right back on the freeway (either direction) when you're done. I ordered a gingerbread latte. It was too sweet for me but that is how they make them. I'll be sticking to skinny hazelnut lattes. The woman working the drive through was really sweet too. I always get great service here.

Ugh... this Starbuck's location is the bane of my existence, but I keep coming back no matter how many times I promise I won't. They are ridiculously slow making your order, and the drinks are always way too sweet. Don't even think about ordering a pastry or sandwich with your drink, it takes them soooo long you'd think they were making it from scratch. Yet, I keep coming back because it is the only drive-thru coffee close to my house and I hate dragging my kids out of the car just for a coffee.

I am an avid Starbucks drinker. I drink Starbucks everyday, and just moved to the area so I tried this Starbucks out twice. The SLOWEST, most INEFFICIENT service I have ever experienced at any Starbucks across the country. I wish I could personally train the staff on how to become more efficient. The first time I went to this Starbucks there was a long line of about 6 people in front of me...so I expected some kind of wait. Ended up waiting a half hour for a coffee. The line grew and grew as I waited. There were 3 people servicing the drive thru and 2 people servicing the people inside. 1 barista decided it would be more effective to move displays around and stock lbs of coffee for a display instead of helping take care of the long line... Second time I went there I decided to go through the drive thru instead since more baristas were servicing it last time I went. BAD IDEA. The drive thru line took just as long and he got my order wrong. Never going back to this Starbucks again. BAD BAD BAD. They need new management.

I like my baristas sharp and quick and friendly. No side business, just give it to me with the Starbucks "always say yes" policy. Did I say lemonade??? NO I WANT THE CHEAPEST DRINK Y'ALL GOT IN HERE. Being a Gold Star Rewards card holder, I expect no eye rolls when I want my 5th (YES FIFTH) tall unsweetened green/black/passion fruit ice tea refill. No lemonade of course, cause then i'd actually have to pay. This location got the quick baristas. Lovin' the table to study. The nook area is a bit too dark for my liking, but the table is the great spot to study.

Love coffee and even though Im not a huge Starbucks fan this is one of the best in the area. I use to drink Starbucks all the time, but the ones in my area have all kind went down hill, most workers are very rude. But not here all worker are very nice!!!!!!! Just had one issue here two time this month so I wanted to post this. March 17 I came and I ordered a latte with a extra shot, and was charged for it, but when the man handed me my drink he said " I didnt put the extra shot in here since there are 3 in it already" I told him I under stand it comes with 3 I want a extra one... plus he already charge me for it. He didnt understand why I would want a 4th shot, which is not something he should care about, I paid for it dont tell me I cant have it! Thank god a young lady walked over and told him he cant do stuff like that and she made me a new one with 4 shots and gave me a free drink card!!! Yesterday, that same guy was working, I ordered 3 shots of espresso over ice, he said we can only do 2 or 4. I always get three over ice and have never been told they cant. I asked him why when I get three all the time and its not big deal, he said he cant. When I asked to speak with a Manager he told me he will make it for me then, so that makes me feel like he was lying. I smiled and walked out. If I could give him a star it would be 1! But other then him, this is the best Starbucks in town!!!

I don't typically come to this Starbucks since the Richmond Parkway location is more convenient. The only problem with that location is that it closes it early. I went to my Starbucks app and saw that this store doesn't close until 10pm on weekdays and 10:30pm on weekends. As I made my way inside, I was reminded of how small the inside is, with only about five or six tables and two or three easily accessible wall outlets. I was in luck as a group was leaving and I was able to utilize a table with a nearby outlet, but had I not been so lucky, my visit would of been pointless. Additionally, I felt as if the store's music was louder than at other stores and a bit distracting. On the plus side, as the store began to close down, an employee came around two or three times offering pastries, which some customers had no problem taking.

This is for today's experience. Normally an okay place but Jared needs to be addressed by his employer. In the drive thru this afternoon, I waited in a line of 5 cars for mt turn at the speaker. I pulled up, no response. I waited....nothing. The other cars moved on so I followed the sign under the speaker. It says "need help with your order? Pull forward" I did. I was greeted at the window by Jared saying that he missed my order and he had been alone bur next time I should wait until he got the chance to take my order. I told him I did wait then followed the signs directions. His attitude from then on resembled my 9 yr old grandson. His facial expressions were rude and disrespectful and his demeanor was uncalled for. The next Starbucks is right down the hill on Appian way or in the other direction on San Pablo Dam Rd at the towmd center although this one too is not what it used to be. Won't go there again.

I do not care for this Starbucks and will not return there. My experiences there have been uniformly bad. The service just is not there. To be frank, they pay more attention to the drive-through orders than the in-store ones. The staff tend not to listen carefully when you order, meaning you often have to repeat yourself. Just a mile up Appian Way, the folks at the El Sobrante Starbucks do much better.

Service is horrible! Very slow drive thru, was in line for 28 minutes. My Chai Latte was just all milk no flavor...... Will drive all the way to the Rodeo Starbucks next time.

I went through the drive thru just a few minutes before closing. I ordered a soy oatmeal and Grande Soy Strawberries & Creme Frap, No Whip. I waited at least 5 minutes for my order even though there was only one car in front of me and no customer inside. Yet, certainly not much waiting compared to a lot of people here. Okay, to why I am giving this a 3 star review. The Frap was disgusting. I asked for a SOY Frap, but instead I got a Frap that was apparently mixed with water or too much ice and no soy apparently. The Frap had NO FLAVOR, I could not even taste the soy milk. It seems they prepare the drinks as they want and not in how it SHOULD be.

Let me start off by saying that I absolutely LOVE Starbucks, and I would have no problem giving it 5 stars if it wasn't for one minor issue. I go there nearly everyday to get coffee & sometimes sandwiches for my boss and I. (I recommend the turkey bacon breakfast sandwich or the tomato basil panini :) I can't recall the last time I have had a problem at this location, or any location for that matter, but there's just been one thing bugging me lately! I order 2 triple expresso shots with 6 pumps of sugar free vanilla and soy milk. This usually totals $2.45 ($2.45 for the espresso, $0.60 for the soy, and $0.50 for the vanilla); however, I use my bosses Gold Rewards card and the added charge for the soy and vanilla come off. I have ordered these drinks quite frequently, but lately, one lady in particular (I cannot for the life of me think of her name!) has been charging me for a skinny vanilla latte + added shot of espresso which is $4.30. I understand that these drinks are made very similarly, but I never asked for her to fill the cup to the top with milk (her reasoning for charging me the latte price.) I have never had a problem with anyone else who has taken my same order. It's just irritating to have to explain it to her every time or be charged $3.70 extra. I am not one to complain, but this has just been bothering me. Now that I got that out... On another note, Antonia is just a doll! She is always so friendly and has never given me any trouble. There is another woman who is very friendly too, but I can't think of her name either, unfortunately. I know people complain too much and aren't quick to say good things, but these 2 (I'll have to get the other lady's name) are exceptionally nice and deserve recognition. :)

Updating to say, **I was wrong.** The low-fat cinnamon coffee cake is still available. The only remaining defect here is the death-spiral of circling cars trying to cram into the entrance of their drive-through lane.

Starbucks Pinole You ROCK! The service is great, they are very friendly here. Coffee-addict as far as coffee goes you can't go wrong with starbucks pretty straight forward.

More often than not I always get an incompetent crew at the drive-thru. And please stop asking if I want "whip cream" on my "soy mocha", a bit pointless, yes? Otherwise, it's one of the faster SBux drive-thrus.

I travel within the Bay Area for my job and visit A Lot of Starbuck locations. The Pinole store is the closest to my home and BY FAR the worst service of all. There is not enough employees during the busier times and they are obviously not trained to efficeiently help each other as seen in other locations. It is not unusual to see the drive-tru backed up while the inside counter Barista and cashiers are standing around. Management does not seem to care as far as I can tell.

I'm not a big fan of Starbucks but it's cool that they have a drive-thru window at this location ... it's good for people that are in a rush .

Ok, Starbucks is on every street corner from the drive through down the street from my house in Pinole to somewhere FOR EXAMPLE ALL INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS AND MAJOR CITIES in Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Osan AFB South Korea, Hong Kong, Macau, and EVEN Malaysia!?? Good grief, Seattle Heads! Ya gotta give me a break already that Starbucks Corporation even authorizes the US Air Force Base Commissary selling StarBucks' Whole Coffee Beans at Osan AFB Commissary for $7.00 for 1 lb. of espresso whole coffee beans? O=:-O Well! La-dee-dahhhh, Dahlings! In desperation, I had to buy 1 lb. of espresso and 1 lb. of Verona whole coffee beans at the Osan AFB Commissary because there were NO other coffee beans selling the large quantity I needed lasting me for two months! Oy-evay . . . O=:-( Sheesh! I cannot believe in sheer desperation I had broken down and bought Starbucks Whole Coffee Beans at the Osan AFB Commissary! Why-you may ask me? Well, because I live in a small town three-hours away from Seoul and whole coffee bean supplies coming from Africa are severely limited! Furthermore, I refuse buying instant coffee everyone in Sokcho drinks like it's REAL COFFEE! Yukko-phooey! Sadly, I couldn't find the blasted Seoul Costco locations, so I can buy the mega-size French Roast coffee beans I normally buy and love! I think I am gonna cry now . . . I had to buy a poor substitute brand! O=:-C Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! I am so beside myself . . . frustrated beyond belief! The only thing cool about the Starbucks down the street from my home near Pinole is the drive through . . . but the drive through is jammed every morning, so ya might as well park your car, sashay your fine self into the Starbucks, smile wistfully at the Barista, and wait FIVE friggin' minutes ordering the house coffee of the day!

Starbucks tastes the same everywhere, this 1 star is for the terrible experience I had this morning. Went through the drive-through, waited a long time, yada yada yada... I ordered a tall, extra-hot soy chai. She gave me the price. Ok. When I got to the window to pay and pick up my order, the brunette girl at the window says" a pumpkin spice" and charges me for a grande sized drink. I told her I ordered a tall sized chai. She hands me a grande sized cup and says (verbatim!!) "Just take it." I looked at her and repeated "just TAKE it?" and she said, "yeah. it's a chai". !!WTF?!! When I called about 15 minutes later to complain to her manager, some other girl says to me on the phone that the manager is very busy. I said, that's fine, this is a customer satisfaction issue and I would wait for the manager to take the call. The girl says that actually, the manager asked this girl to take care of my "issue". MY issue????? This store needs some serious training in manners, from management to hourly staff. Bottom line: they are rude and unapologetic about the bad service that they provide.

People are always friendly in this starbucks location. I like how the starbucks is set up, they have 3 "sections" one section on the right is a long bench with 3 small circular tables and ELECTRICAL PLUGS so you have a comfy seat AND a plug for your laptop. The other section has 3 square tables with the hard chairs and this area also has plugs, then there's a little cozy section with comfy seats and little coffee tables and yes, this place has plugs. Why 4 stars instead of just 3 or 2? Because they have ELECTRICAL plugs. Meaning I can get my study on for hours and not worry about my stupid laptop running out of juice. It also means (if I'm on the comfy bench) that I can sit on my butt for a long time without getting tinglebutt. What's really great about this place is the fact that they don't hassle you on getting your drink right away. As much as I like this place, I do wish that they have maybe 2 more big tables in the middle of the store to accomodate people who study/meet up/drink coffee in big groups without having to "steal" the handicap table.

Great starbucks! They're efficient, and most of the employees learn your order quickly if you're a regular. Today the manager totally fixed a problem that could have kept me from going back. Here's to empowering your people to make customers happy! The only reason they don't get a fifth star is the drive-through is sometimes slow, but if you'd get out of your SUV and walk inside, you probably wouldn't have to wait in line!

As can be seen by the composition of my reviews, I LOVE Indian and Thai food. I review them a LOT. I like to think I know what's good and what's not. Well, yelp community, you are about to learn about something else I LOVE... COFFEE!! I work part time near this Starbucks, and have become a huge fan. The drive through is amazing, and is something I've really come to miss since moving to SF from SoCal. They are remarkably fast, and have always gotten my order correct! They also somehow know just the amount of sugar and cream to put in my coffee, even though they don't ask how much I want. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because it's not quite knock-your-socks-off great. I love it, I go there more than I'd like to admit, and will continue to be a devoted patron... but it's still Starbucks. I am convinced there is better coffee out there. In the meantime, though, this is pretty dang good.

First Starbucks I ever tried. I bought drinks here for my Journalism Class at Pinole Valley. Before heading to class I would get a drink here. I believe all the PVHS students drank here and never went to class. The location use to be a bank. I met a few ladies from that location.

One of the nicer Sbux I've been to - plus it has a DRIVE THRU. I still can't get over how awesome that is. This particular Starbucks makes the best hot cocoa I have ever had. Chocolatey, hot, and always with plenty of whipped cream. I don't drink coffee, but I'd assume it's pretty standard. More importantly, their employees always treat me ever so kindly, even when I look like shit and like I want to kill someone. And if they mess up your order (mistakes happen, people!), they always give you a free upgrade. Bonus!

No point in reviewing the coffee or the pastries. The location would be convenient but the interior is dark dark dark. It's like cave cafe. Ugh. The staff is nice though so it's got that going for it...

i like to study at this location. i was here one night when they were supposed to close at 10. homeboy kicked me out at 920 saying they were closing up in 5 minutes. lies. i wish i could kick people out early at my place of work and get away with it, sheesh.

This Starbucks and all the rest, are a waste of money! They should borrow their beans from Peet's. They have a real great coffee taste and not a burnt taste. I have tried to give them a break, but I'm breaking away from them! I'd rather have no coffee at all! Sorry!
