I like this place. Aside from being the only Salvadoran place that I know of in the west county, they actually have very good pupusas. This place is kind of hard to find, its in a rundown strip mall on Saviers where the signs don't seem to fit with the doors. Inside its pretty spacious, has a kind of family feeling to it (the owner is sitting on a table watching soccer as he waits for customers). The people working there were friendly So the pupusas run for 2.50 each, pretty reasonable, i was satisfied with 2. I had a chicharron pupusa and a veggie/cheese one. The chicharron one was very good as was the veggie. The chicharron was soft with a type of sauce. The cabbage that they give you compliments it well. The cheese, i think it was asadero, was tasty. For some reason it didn't feel like I was simply eating a quesadilla. I thought the corn masa was going to have an overpowering flavor but it wasn't the case. They also have other Salvadoran food thats not pupusas but I didn't try anything else. Four stars for giving me a legitimately tasty option for pupusas, for being the only one in the area and for being affordable, oh and close to my house too. I learned there's another pupuseria on Channel Islands and Ventura. Well it is less unique now but it keeps its' four stars.
