Diabetics at Village Inn

Village Inn is a tough place for diabetics, and you must be extra cautious while ordering food at the Village Inn, especially if you're a diabetic. The food items low in sodium are high in sugar or cholesterol at Village Inn which makes it difficult for diabetics to choose the right food at the diner.

Foods to Avoid at Village Inn for Diabetics

Village Inn offers very few items edible for diabetics without any threat. You can avoid sandwiches and burgers at Village Inn and try the light breakfast items on the menu. You must also skip the shakes as well as other juices from the beverage menu. Almost all the dinner items on the menu are high in sodium except Grilled Tilapia and 6 oz. Top Sirloin & Toast. Avoid Soup bowls and opt for cups instead at Village Inn.

It saddens me to write this review because we have come here a few times for team lunches and have been relatively satisfied with their food, service, and wine selection.I called in to order and the man taking my order was very rude and rushing me. Once I came to pick up the food he was just as curt when he asked what we needed. When I got back to the office (less than a 2 minute drive to 4 Orinda Way) with my orders I was shocked to find that the meatballs had little to no sauce on them, were cold, and had been semi sliced for microwaving. (I know the trick as I have a Culinary Arts degree and have worked restaurants that do this) My lasagna was oddly spicy and not very flavorful. My coworker had ordered the $18.75 fettuccine alfredo with chicken and it was very pitiful. There was MAYBE half a chicken breast on her pasta. My other coworker had ordered a steak sandwich which was good by average standards and cooked correctly but came with 12 french fries (YES! We counted!). To think that I actually tipped 15% on a to-go order for less than.

PLACE - Lots of tables, plenty of space! Seated right away! FOOD - Bad. Ordered the special. Paid way to much for a small sandwich. SERVICE - The attendand was new, so it took a bit to take my order. PRICE - Not good for what I got. The food was meh at best, and I paid way too much for such little amout of food. GO BACK? - No. Orinda still doesn't have a good answer for pizza.

Way overpriced and service has gone way down. Not sure if the man and woman who are always there are husband and wife and running the business together but they need to realize that there pettiness is going to lose them customers. I was a regular and now I will never eat there again. 80 cents for extra ranch dressing for my salad. SMH. That's after I ordered the salad with no carrots and no garbanzo beans. They didn't offer an adjustment for not including those items but want to charge for extra dressing? Ya, no thanks. Good luck, as long as the 2 of them are running that place, I will not be back. #pettinesswillmakeyoulosecustomers!

This place uses a microwave to cook 3 day old food. They mostly use the microwave to cook pasta, sauce and mostly everything that isn't pizza, I've seen strawberries put on a Nutella pizza when some of the strawberries have mold on them they pick out the nice looking ones like bacteria doesn't travel. If you like eating moldy food be my guest and eat here. They don't care about their restaurant or customers they just want to make a profit. Very pricey just for 1 large pizza are you kidding me? I don't recommend coming here.

Why do I keep going back to this place thinking it might be better? Lousy service, wrong food ordered, overcooked/dry ribs, salad with bad dressing - missing cheese, and overpriced...geez. To top it off, waiter didn't acknowledge his mistake or offer to change it. It really is too bad they can't get this right as I really want to like this place.

If you live roughly in the middle of Orinda, you have two choices, this place and Pannini's in Moraga. Go to Moraga. Village pizza is ho hum - the toppings are skimpy, the crust is tough and flavorless and it is expensive. I haven't tried anything but their pizza, but I don't think I want to go back. Their entrees, which I haven't tried, seem to be VERY pricey. Interesting to note that Casa Orinda, the best and fanciest restaurant in Orinda with terrific service and ambiance, has less expensive pasta dishes than this informal "pizza joint". Really! Village Pizza spaghetti and meatballs - $16.25 Casa Orinda pasta and meatballs - (I think it is about $12-13, but I KNOW it isn't over $15.)

Not the best place for pizza by any stretch. The crust is too dough-y, with no crisp whatsoever and the overall pizza lacks taste.

We used to love this place but it's gone downhill. Mostly the service. A server who nearly ignored us completely while being friendly and attentive to the next table. Tonight ordered to go food and asked for no cheese , but found it in our meatballs. The employees had to go read the frozen package to find the cheese listed and proceed to tell me it was my fault for not announcing my allergy. Clearly he has no concern for a customer and wouldn't have taken it upon himself to check or he should have when I said no cheese. Thank goodness we left with food, which I had to argue to get the price difference of the burger half the price of what I ordered. All after driving down there and extra time.

I grew up on pizza (my parents own a pizza place) and this pizza is just delicious, I always get a creamy garlic sauce. The staff is nice and helpful and there is a a good atmosphere. I used to nanny and would take the boys in and they also love it--very family friendly. My only complaint is actually the customers! On two separate occasions I have been seated near rude, entitled women who treat the staff like idiots who don't speak English. RUDE

Came in after work on Monday April 7th, 2014 and was quickly seated. I ordered the Deep Fried Pollock Fillet With Cheese for $7.35 plus a Trumer Pilsner and both hit the spot. The sandwich was servicable but nothing I would write home about (I do actually right home quite a bit) and the beer was stellar like always. My colleague ordered the Double Cheeseburger and was throughly impressed with it.

Orinda's Village Pizza. Yelpers had distributed the star ratings quite equally for them. I guess it depends on what you like with your pizza experience. I was interested in what a pizza place in upper-class Orinda would be like, especially seeing that it doesn't look like typical Orinda from the street. Inside, it's comfortable, and I like that. Checkerboard tablecloth, wood paneling, sports on the TV, old newspaper clippings on the wall, all add up to a place to relax, good for a guy married to a Texas native and with a girl in kindergarten. It's the kind of place where residents leave their castles to go to with their circle of friends. An easy two-minute drive from the freeway. Keep in mind that Orindans have been keeping Village Pizza in business for almost 30 years. Surprisingly, they sell other foods besides pizza. You won't feel weird ordering a burger, meatball sandwich, or tiramisu; they have those too. Our waitress said that kids love the pasta with butter; sounded gross to me and the hunny, but our girl ate the whole thing. Prices are mid-range. Okay, what about the pie? Skipolini's in Concord and Zachary's in Oakland are far better, and priced the same. But it's still quite good. Pepperoni + sausage + salami + linguisa + ham = satisfaction. Five thick slices of this equation = one happy and full Ron; three was more than enough to fill the hunny. They also have the build-your-own option. IMHO, not one to go out our way for, but a good and convenient option for pizza.

I thought I would share the fact that I made a yelp account to say just how bad there customer service was. I was feeling hungery, so I thought why not order a pizza. Village was the closest place. Closer place=faster delivery. Oh no. No no no. I call them, and im put on hold for 5 minutes. Then he takes my order. After an hour and a half, its delivered. They messed it up. Added tomatoes when I didn't order them. It was also really cold and was most defInitely not fresh. I call him back, and they claim that they are about to send out another one because of there clearly huge messup. The replacement takes 45 to arrive. I am satisfied with the pie, its pretty tasty. But they really need to work on there service. I have not dined in, but I really dont want to after this.

Village pizza used to be a lot better and now they do not include salad with their dinners and way less garlic bread with dinners. The pizza has been going downhill for years and the prices are so damn high !!! I know my family and I will never go back here and it's to bad too cause its one of the few places that delivers in Orinda.

I love it here. I am not sure what all the negative reviews are about. We've been here dozens of times, most recently last week and the service was great and the pizza was great. It's not gourmet pizza. It's a good old fashioned pizza. The wait staff has always been super attentive and concerned. I have yet to have a negative experience here. Also, I love the dressing for the house salad.

I love this place. I'm very particular about Italian food. Village Pizza has the best pizza in Lamorinda. The chicken parm is also delicious. The servers are so kind and helpful. Village Pizza is the kind of place I go to for great food and a relaxed atmosphere.

On my quest to find a decent restaurant with my Restaurant.com gift cards, I explored locations outside of my 10 mile radius to find a place that would play the playoff basketball game and serve decent pizza. This restaurant was more like eating in a family's home, which I found delightful. Incredibly friendly staff, efficient service and fresh food. The sauce was not too tangy, and pie we got was definitely loaded with garlic. Definitely worth a trip over Highway 24!

A solid family style place with a nice variety of dishes and solid service. They seem to do a pretty heavy load of take out too for those living nearby so that always speaks well of their food and variety, Whether it's pizza, salad, pasta, or a solid steak sandwich, Village pizza is a good neighborhood place in Orinda.

New to Orinda and trying to find a decent pizza place close by. Saw mixed reviews of this place and decided to try it myself. Disappointment. First prices are higher than what we see online. Ordered a combo pizza and one meatball sandwich and the total bill was just over $40. The veg half of the pizza had plenty of ingredients but no taste. The meat side did not have enough ingredients and also no taste. Meat ball sandwich tasted OK. Wish there is a better pizza place in Orinda.

this place totally sucks!!!!! have lived in orinda for 34 years - this place used to be soooo good - the take out, delivery & restaurant all used to be top notch. not any more. when joe, the original owner operated this place it was outstanding - excellent customer service. this has all been removed with the new owners. they could care less if u are happy with your order. the food is awful - they have even screwed up the garlic bread. will never to to this restaurant again or order over the phone or purchase take out. way over priced and lousy food. save your $$$ and go to a good restaurant

Decent lunch time sandwich . I got the Village Sandwhich. Decent size. Somewhat small compared to say other deli sandwhiches for the same price $8.00. But it was good. I had homemade potato chips on the side. Friendly staff. I'm Interested in trying the pizza next time.

It was the second time that I visit the Village Pizza in Orinda. This place seems to be here forever and is tucked away. The ambiance is not great; it's if the place got stocked in time. The only new things are probably the flat screen TV's for the sports. The pizza dish is decent and personal is friendly. However, I hoped the changed the beer with some more local products. Sorry I cannot stand businesses who are only pouring Bud, Coors and/or Miller.

Had 1 of those discounted Coupons for this place & decided to give Lunch a try there. Actually a decent experience. Gourmet? No. But friendly service and fresh food. The eating area in the back of the place was actually a surprise after walking in. At first it looks small and crammed with the grill area in the small entry, and 2 booths crammed into the corner. But the main dining area is, well, quaint - and it looks like they added a couple of HD TVs for those "sports nights" ... CNN was on when we were there - but at least it wasn't blaring. (In fact, I can't remember even hearing it .. YEA!). We ordered a Med. Pizza, house salad, and a couple of beers. Stella, Sierra, Bud, etc where what was offered. That's fine - we aren't beer aficionados and these were fine for us with the pizza. Toppings were fresh and loaded on top. All in all a decent experience. Would go here again.

My family wonders why I still frequent village pizza now. They have taken off the vegetables that used to come with the dinner, and the salad no longers comes with the pasta dinner as it used to. Totally bummed..Now I can hardly defend the place considering a little salad with a little bowl of pasta is over $16. I thought it would be interesting to cross check villages prices with some exclusively italian gourmet restaurants in SF. Shockingly enough the prices were only off by a dollar or two..And village is a tiny family restaurant where beer is advertised in pitchers and there are LCD TVS on the wall. But I still return, I shell out my almost 20 dollars for the pasta and salad because its my favorite, but I am pretty disheartened by the new management and everything they have done to change the restaurant. I really wish I wasnt so in love with the pasta. All in all i wouldn't recommend this place, you can go to a beautiful italian restaurant and pay the same. Oh but if you do go there is one server with a beautiful spanish style accent, she is my favorite and so nice!

Although I love mom 'n pop type Italian restaurants, and there are far too few in the Bay Area, I had put off visiting Village Pizza because of its location in a shopping plaza. Finally tried it last night and was very pleased! The dining room is set back from the entrance and does not have that strip-mall feel at all. It's quite comfy. I liked being able to see the clean and bustling kitchen upon entering the restaurant. The service was perfect - friendly and attentive. I had the $5 cabernet special, which was good. The zucchini stix were quite uniform and probably frozen, but I can never go wrong with zucchini stix! The salad was generous and fresh, and the pizza quite good. I can't wait to go back and try some of the pasta dishes.

We went here several times before the new owners took over and had good service and good food. Went again recently with some friends. The kids portions were barely enough for one child and the price was high. I had never been out to eat where the prices were so high and the portions were so tiny. It felt like they were being cheap. And that stinks in a rest. I ordered the eggplant parm which I had ordered in the past. This time, it was not as good. I am not sure what was going on. Additionally, the service was poor. We had to ask for assistance, no one checked how our meal was and we felt like we were on our own for the meal. I highly doubt we will return there again.

Though it's not gourmet, the food invariably is solid. Most servers are above average. Some are great. We had only 1 server in our 10 trips who was slightly below average; nice but seemingly inexperienced. Pizza is nice. Beer is cold. Nice small town feel.

Good service, high prices...ordered pizzas, salads and ribs....did not really enjoy them, taste was just not good enough, somehow tasted off . Bummer coz i like the ambiance, friendly service and the "there's something for everyone" type of menu...but if the food's not that good, there's no reason for us to go back.

Had an order of the Greek Pizza (~$30): feta, pesto, sun-dried tomato, and artichoke hearts. Also had an order of the Dinner Salad (~$5): lettuce, tomato, beans, carrots, and croutons. Food was delicious, staff was chill, and the ambiance was familiar.

I ordered a small pizza for myself and can i say it was the best pizza i have had in a long time, the crust was Delicious the sauce was amazing. toppings fresh and High quality. the owner was there and. I asked him why his pizza tasted so good and he told me that everything was made fresh from scratch. I like this place I hope they will open one up in Oakland or Alameda so I can enjoy it more often..

Way overpriced for what you get. My wife ordered three lg pizzas -- one pepperoni one cheese and one cheeseless. Got there to pick them up and they charged me the same price for the cheeseless as the cheese pizza. Came to 63 dollars! I asked if they could discount the cheeseless as it had sauce and no cheese and nothing else and they said prices are fixed in the machine by the owner, so no. Inflexible and wholly unconcerned about customer satisfaction and value it appears.

I'm rating aggressively. It's more like 3.5 stars. Just as the other reviews suggest, the food is mediocre but the prices are exorbitant for what you're getting. If the prices were about 4-5 dollars less I would think they'd have better reviews. The menu is decent but definitely has some hits and misses. The chicken breast sandwich is a favorite and the pizza is pretty good too. I wouldn't venture beyond those two if I were you. It's an Orinda institution so I don't see it going anywhere. But again for the price? I would recommend going somewhere else. Parking is never an issue.

Was craving pizza for awhile and since I NEVER get pizza really so I just hit up my old favorite spot from high school. Olive and Mushroom Personal-sized Pizza. NOMS. I'm a bit weird I guess because I love olives and mushrooms on the same pizza, but I think it's one of those things where you could go really extreme with it. You either really hate it or you really love it, and I'm the kind of person who really loves my olives and 'shrooms. It was pretty decent overall, definitely helped my pizza fix. I liked how their mozzarella cheese pulls out into strings from their super hot pizza. Mixed Green Salad with Thousand Island Dressing. Came with my personal pizza order. It was alright, but seriously can you really screw up a salad though? I did like how they added kidney beans to it though, gave it a little something extra. I thought Village Pizza was okay, but definitely not what it was for me in high school. Heard it's been under a different owner since then so that may be the reason. Guess it's time for me to find a new pizza haunt for my random pizza cravings now.

After a long day at work i decided to take my daughter out for a nice dinner. We decided to head to Orinda for Pizza. The restaurant was not to busy when we arrived so we were quickly seated and served drinks. Our waitress was a very sweet young lady and checked on us frequently. After we finally decided on what to order we waited just a very short time. We each had a very good dinner salad, which was very fresh. After our salad we were brought our pizza. The pizza was incredible and topped with a little bit of their wonderful ranch dressing we of course ate more than we should have. By the time we left we saw the place filling up with other patrons. A very nice dinner in a comfortable environment with very good food and very friendly service. Will definitely return again to dine at Village Pizza

Village Pizza is a great place for a family dinner. Having spent some time in Orinda growing up, we were regulars for the take out pizza. It wasn't until I came back to the Bay Area as an adult that we started going to the restaurant for a sit down dinner. The food is good and of good quality. It's not fancy, it's not cuisine, it's just good food, served well. They're great with kids, as well. Our 2.5 year old son always has fun and the wait staff is great with him.

The pizza is good, the toppings are very generous and the slices are big. I was surprised that we received such small plates because a pizza slice couldn't fit on it. I thought it was also weird that the size options available were personal, small, medium, Xlarge....what happened to the large? I was happy that I was able to use my Restaurant.Com coupon without any problems.

two thumbs down.....WAY down!!! (as siskel and ebert would say when they were reviewing something such as Showgirls or Ishtar). where do i begin with this atrocity? first of all, the crust. too doughy. too thick. pretty much flavorless. texture way off. toppings: i ordered sausage, bell peppers, and garlic. i could barely taste garlic on some pieces, and then on others, it was the only predominant flavor. the sausage and peppers looked like that had been put through the food processor and there were literally little chunks about 1/4 inch in diameter all over the pizza. you couldnt taste any of the flavors individually. wtf!! it was basically like slurry in pizza form. cheese -- totally unmemorable and flavorless. sauce -- ditto. in a nutshell, this pie was a muddled mess. with so many options for fantastic pizza (ahem, cheeseboard, ahem) just on the other side of the tunnel, i dont know why anyone would ever come here. if you are feeling lazy and dont want to drive that far, then just order from round table. it will be way better. blech!

Nothing exciting and very expensive for $17 being only a 14" 'Large' 1 topping pizza.

Pizza was eehhhhhoooo kay. Only came here because of the Restaurant.com certificate and even then the tab came out to be almost $30. For a pizza, and half chicken dinner, and ceasar salad? Ok, I understand these neighborhood places can be a bit crude, and since it's the only place in town for pizza, maybe they feel like it's ok to serve mediocre stuff at best. But COME ON. I roast a better chicken at home, and that's not with one of those cool ass ovens you guys have. Get your shit together please. Service was fine. Chicken over-cooked and dry. Salad totally mediocre - that is to say, it rivals the stuff you get in a package at Safeway. And pizza, which was the star of the show... was fresh at least. Won't return. Too pricey and not worth the time.

Love the place, never changes except now they have too many seats inside. Great food and good prices...hope it never changes and they pull out about 4 tables so we can have some elbow room :)

Sorry, I've given this place at least five tries - I'm done - I ordered rigatoni with spicy marinara - it was like noodles in water - no lie. I asked for some meat sauce to try to improve it - nothing. It is NOT good food.

Dropped in for a pizza expecting a strictly take-out place, but instead found a sit-down restaurant in a nice setting. Split a salad, shared a large pepperoni/olive pizza and a couple of root beers. It was a nice dinner and we will return to try some of the other dishes.

I like stopping here before I get on BART going to concerts. I have not had a bad experience yet. Pizza was good as well as the steak sandwich.

I love the location and the pizza was good, but the service was slow. It seems as if they are short staffed.

I know why this place still exists - there is no good pizza in Orinda. This pizza is mediocre at best. It does ok just because it is local, but not because the pizza is good. On top of that, the pizzas are expensive. Seriously, $27.75 for an extra large pizza that tastes like it came from a cafeteria?

Ive been eatting at village pizza for about 7 years now and I love it . If you want really great pizza with fresh toppings they make there own dough and toppings , I drive 30 min just to eat here because no where else where I live has food this good oh and the bugers are the best they cook them on a charcoal grill taste amazing that way . There pesto sauce is so yummy too. I still can't find a place that has better pesto sauce , meat sauce is just like grandmas meat sauce They have great coupons They also just put 3 t.v. In the dining room so that's always a plus I believe they have new owners they seem very sweet there always there to greet you when you walk in and it seem there doing there best to kinda up date the restaurant since its been there for 30 years. The servers are always so nice to my daughter when we're leaving the server gave my daughter a lil bracelet out of this toy box she had. I think that's great if you want a great meal and be treated like they give a shit about making the customers satisifed you need to go there. Great food Great prices oh ya and they have 9$ pitchers of Stella ,Sierra Nevada on draft on wednesdays. Come on that's awesome

A simple pizza place with burgers and salads. I do not recall if I had the pizza but I assume it is good. A refreshing change from the franchised pizza parlors with a "plastic" atmosphere. Popular with kids :)

Friendly but mediocre and slow service, the food quality is subpar, the prices are high and the parking is limited yet it's somehow easy to find a spot usually.

This is a good place to go if you are looking for a pizza place that's different than your average pizza huts and dominoes. The waiters were friendly and attentive, and the settings give a small town feel that you can't find in your normal franchise pizza restaurants. Oh ya and the Pizza is fabulous!

This was my first time going to Village Pizza considering I've been living in the area for 8+ years. I ordered a small Garlic Chicken Pizza for pick up. I arrived 30 minutes after I placed the order and the pizza was ready and waiting. I didn't really pay too much attention to the decor, but what I did notice immediately when walking in was their kitchen, which had the typical pizza ovens, and also a grill which you don't see at too many pizza places. I think they serve bbq chicken and ribs? Anyways, the pizza was excellent and I will be returning for a dine in experience.

We've had Village Pizza for years at our family events. Eating at the restaurant is great too. It really is the ideal look & taste of a good neighborhood casual Italian-American pizza restaurant. The pizzas are great and it's hard not to choose them every time. A regular pizza is a good size and can easily be shared between 2 people. The salads and other cooked entrees are are good as well. I especially enjoy the look and feel of the place when you walk in and can see the chef's cooking and making pizzas on the left and older style candy dispensing machines are in the corner.

We used to be regulars. This place went downhill. what happened to the pizza ingredients? They watered down the Caesar dressing. We couldn't wait for the slow service anymore and even stopped taking out. Were very sad to say all this as we truly loved it before.

A great local place. The atmosphere is a full step above the usual pizza place. No noisy video games, and it has nice picture windows with a view of pretty trees. The pizzas a very good and so are the hamburgers. I also enjoy the entree salads, especially the Chicken Caesar. They have excellent local delivery service.

I had the clam and garlic pizza tusday and it gave me food poisioning. I have been suffering for three days. This is one of there specials. It was special allright. This place sold to new owners and is not what it once was. Avoid this place.

We order pizza from this place fairly often because - they deliver! But... it's not exactly excitingly delicious pizza. It is... ok. I always order thin crust and the crust is still too chewy and doughy for my taste. The cheese and tomato are just okay and the olives are just from a can. It's fine for when you're desperate for a quick easy meal, but I'd never really PLAN to order from here. It just kind of happens sometimes. Never tried the burgers.

This place is by my office and definitely my go-to lunch spot when hungover or stressed. The mini pizza for lunch rules and it's always dripping in cheese. The crust is really soft and doughy which I love. But if you prefer less bread I believe there is a thin crust option.

This place is incredibly overpriced for mediocre pizza. I gave them another chance and I just couldn't believe it when I looked at the bill for two pizzas. I want to support good local, independent businesses but this is just a rip off, that's the only way to describe it

Just dined at Village Pizza for the first time in like 15 years. Felt sort of nostalgic bringing my kids to a place I grew up going to. The service was solid and they know the drill for small children...plastic cups with tops, crayons, etc.. .Food was decent, about what I expected, but I have to agree with some of the other reviews that it's pretty expensive for what you get. Three pasta dishes (two from the kids menu) and a beer was over $40 with tip. All in all, good place to eat with the family for a casual meal.

Ok, after reading everyones review of this restaurant, I was heistant to go to the restaurant. After eating here, I can only figure that people in Orinda have no place to eat. When I first walked in I noticed the grill for the burgers, but at the same time I also noticed the microwave bacon sitting on a plate near the grill. This helped me decide not to order a bacon burger. My wife ordered a burger and I ordered a steak sandwich. The fries were ok, but not enough of them. The steak had no flavor and ditto for the burger. The roll on the steak sandwich was pretty good, but did not make up for the flavorless steak. They gave us one plate of condiments for the four sandwiches that we ordered, which frankly was enough for one sandwich. I would not order any of the sandwiches that we tried. If you want a good steak sandwich go to Kinders, or the Walnut Creek Meat Market in Alamo. Maybe will will try this again and order some pasta, because the bad reviews and looks of the pizza would scare me off. One word to people that like this place - try a restaurant outside of Orinda.

Green beans, or peas? This is our restaurant. It's my favorite place to go for polenta, pesto ravioli, gnocchi, salad and yes, green beans. I've celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and other special occasions here. For someone who has never been here before, it would be a nice first date place for an older couple or a good place to go before seeing a play/movie on a warm evening.

Village Pizza is a low-key family restaurant with good food. Like everything else in the area it's a little more expensive than you would pay for the same food elsewhere (the "Orinda premium"). The pizza is good -- especially the crisp crust -- the hamburgers, soups and ribs are also highlights. It is one of the few kid friendly places in the area that has local character and is not part of some soulless chain. We are locals, and we eat there quite a lot. That said, I'm a little skeptical of Danville JJ L's review.

We went to the restaurant to celebrate my sister-inlaw 30th wedding anniversary. The food was excellent especially the vegetarian pizza that is so so fresh, the steak sandwich and the outstanding white bean soup. The owner was there. He was very personable. All in all it was a great and solid customer experience.

Village Pizza is a perfect small town pizza joint. You'll see families celebrating a winning baseball game, friends gathered to enjoy the food and laughter, and older couples quietly smiling at each other. The pizza is great with a medium thick crust cooked to perfection and a wide assortment of topping choices. As others have written, they also have a full menu with something for everyone. I love coming here, the atmosphere is casual and friendly, everyone is having a great time and the pizza is outstanding. I hope you like it as much as I do!

An American-Italian restaurant that every neighbour hood needs. Serves standard American-Italian fare such as meatball sandwich, spaghetti (overcooked) with fake parmesan cheese. Yet, it manages to make good hamburgers and steak sandwiches, and when you have cravings for such, the location and the price are right.
