I didn't think I liked wahoos. why? I have no idea. maybe back in the day I had a bad experience but I don't remember it. my fiancé and I moved in down the street and we both said "meh, wahoos? whatever." until we went there and had lunch one day. the place is BOMB! like, no joke, it's delicious fresh food for a decent price. I was so excited I craved it for an entire week and promised I would be back ASAP. so I went back. the food is fresh, it's well priced, they have beer and a big outdoor patio, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. SO glad this is so close to my house! I will be back, like a hundred times. I heart you, wahoos. I'm sorry I went so long without you!

I'm going to Start off by saying I love wahoos. I would go there at every possibility, that is... Until they removed my beloved number 3 (burrito with rice and beans). If that was still there this would be five star review, but alas, it is gone and my heart is crushed at its loss. RIP #3 screamin burrito, brown orice, Cajun beans and extra mr. Lees sauce on the side Edit: they allowed for a combo with my burrito, so changes to a 5 star review

I love this place. Every time we go to Anaheim we stop here to eat. I got the fish tacos. The food was so fresh and tasty. I wish there was a Wahoo's tacos where I live. Definitely the best meal we had while visiting Anaheim. Will be back!!

Liked that it's in a older house/building in downtown Orange. Very large inside and outside. Bad side? The parking is horrible.

Fresh food, nice workers, and great location. Right near the Orange Circle in Old Towne Orange. All of the food here is delicious and filling. Would definitely come back for more shrimp tacos!

Ordered a banzai burrito(veggies only) and found two big chunks of chicken in it. Not cool.

Wahoo's doesn't dissapoint. The Tacos are spot on. Fresh, with great topping. I also love that they hv a beer of the month special as well as a Happy Hour for such an in/out kind of place. If you do decide to stay in, the decor is clean yet fun with lots of surf pix and bumper stickers everywhere. They also have a nice outdoor patio area.

It's the bestttt, this place has what you're craving. Order to your delight and cover it with red or green sauce to top it off. Chips and salsa or go the extra mile and get the guacamole. I ordered the bonsai burrito and covered it with green sauce outside; inside chicken beans and rice, cilantro & everything good. Parking out back is easier to find than in front.

Very disappointed with this place. Customer service and food is a joke here. I asked for a bonzai bowl with extra veggies and no rice and the employees slopped a ton of beans and put the chicken and veggies on top like a soup. I will never return to this location.

Just had lettuce wrapped grilled fish tacos and they were yum! Healthy clean light and lots of fish! $2.89 each. Cute house ambience and outdoor patios ! :) will be returning :)

Seriously good citrus slaw tacos. I got the fish taco with a side of slaw and side of Cajun beans and every single thing I ate was amazing. Great atmosphere, outdoor seating, pet friendly, and great food. Highly recommended!

I had a great experience the food was delicious and as they brought me my food I was able to order another beer from the gentleman and he took my money right there he didn't make me go back in line which I really liked so I'm going to definitely give them five. I'll be back

  • Dave Q.

I downloaded the wahoo app and got a free fish taco. It was easy and I'm stoked to get some free food. The app also allows you to earn points every time you purchase something for more free food. This place is awesome because the food is good and the atmosphere is fun

I love having a Pacifico with my wahoo fish bowl. This location is newer and very close to my work...so I enjoy coming here after a long day at the salon...I think I need a Pacifico right now. Love. Wahoos

Really gone downhill. When I first moved to OC I went to a wahoos in another location and thought it was good so I was excited to hear that we were going to have one by our house in orange. The first time we went to this location, we noticed it wasn't what it used to be. We tried it again a few months later and thought the same. Just this past Sunday evening my wife and our friend went to wahoos because our normal taco shop was closed. When we got our food, both my wife's food and our friends enchiladas were cold and the salsa we got was frozen. I just got onion rings which were barely warm. The next day, both my wife and our friend had stomach issues. Stay away from this wahoos, if not to avoid the mediocre food, than at least for your health.

How can you go wrong having lunch at this Wahoo's? My food was prepared fresh and was exploding with flavor! Well done Wahoo's, well done.

  • Dave S.

The restaurant is always clean and they serve you fast, but some of the employees are lazy. Got there one night 17 minutes before closing (9:13 pm) but they told me they were already "closed." I always order the same dish, and sometimes they give me a decent quantity of meat, and other times they really skimp on it. I'm eating there quite a bit less than what I used to. FOLLOW UP: Last time I checked, it looked like they tried to fix this issue. They had TWO signs showing the hours. One on the wall near the entry and another on the front door. One sign said that they close at 9 p.m. on weekdays, and the other said they closed at 9:30 pm weekdays. I GUESS that sort of an improvement.

I am a HUGE Wahoo's fan. I eat there at least once a week (Usually the Long Beach one). We had family from out of town and never had a fish taco before (she's from Ecuador). We took her here instead of the Fullerton one that we went to before just to say we have been to three different ones. We were so bummed that we did! My wife and I got our usuals: Bonzai Bowl, no beans, brown rice, Grilled Fish and Shrimp add on and a Fish Taco combo. Both were dry, flavorless, veggies were burned and mushy and my rice was WAY undercooked (still hard). First time EVER I did not clean my plate. I was REALLY turned off by this location.

  • Bill W.

This is a special Wahoo's located in the oldest former hotel in Orange County. They have an alcove good for groups. Add the usual great Wahoo's food and service close to old town Orange and you have a GREAT place to eat!

  • Brandon M.

Worst wahoos I have ever been to. Upon walking in the place was dirty, I walk up to the cashier her name was Carla H and she didn't even say anything to me. Bedsides that I asked how she was doing and I got no reply. Besides her horrible attitude and frown on her face I get my food and I'm missing my enchilada. I paid $6 for a meal that didn't even have everything in. I'm not going to call and drive 5 miles back when I'm now already at work and I was on a lunch break. If there isn't another wahoos around you if advise you to find a different Mexican place as you won't enjoy your experience here.

This has to be the nicest Wahoo's that I've ever been to. Chic design, prime location, and delicious food. The cajun chicken bowl with brown rice is golden! This establishment is very clean and the service is top notch.

Best Wahoo's Fish Tacos I've been too! The atmosphere is what makes it great. In the evening, the street lamps from the Orange Circle really add to this chill vibe. Took my dad here for his birthday and he has now deemed this our normal wahoos (previously being the Wahoo's in Fullerton. The staff is very attentive to those dining both inside and out. There's a nice fire pit to keep you warm while eating outside (also adds to the atmosphere). I know I'm coming back and happy I found this location!

No opening day jitters here. Super attentive staff today. By the time I was half done I had been asked if I needed anything no less than ten times. I had secretly been hoping opening day patrons may have gotten a lil bonus for having been there on opening day, but that was to no avail. I also apparently missed Wing one of the owners by less than an hour. It would have been fun to meet a successful entrepreneur like him. I ordered my favorite Wahoos item, a Maui bowl with all white rice... this thing came with a lil more beef than average and tasted awesome. Everything seems like it is going well especially with this location being in a historical building. Almost everything looked tasty as can be that I saw being brought out to the patrons. The exterior had extensive seating with lots of chairs and tables not yet being used. Definitely a place to come back to regularly. I am super excited that I have a place near my office to grab a Maui bowl at now. The building had a side entrance, rear entrance (past the bathrooms) and a front entrance. There is even a nice very wide porch here! Obviously everything was new, and the tables were properly leveled :D as well as clean bathrooms (well at least the men's was). There is street parking right in front on both sides of Chapman and some parking slots in behind the restaurant as well. A block away is a large free open public parking lot slightly to the North West. See you here sometime!

Since moving my State Farm agency to the historic Orange Plaza about 3 months ago, I've eaten here at least 30 times and always a fantastic experience! Carmen, Pedro, Rene, Carla, Elizabeth and everyone else are always so welcoming that I feel like Norm from Cheers! So glad to be in walking distance.

Honestly, I read all the reviews for the orange locations and was so excited to get some fish tacos. Maybe expectations were to high because I was disappointed by the experience. I ordered two Fish tacos flame grilled, the fish was really dry and overstuffed my taco the seasoning also tasted off. Maybe I just went on a bad day, I have had great experinces in the apst at the SD locations. Will give it another shot hopefully second times the charm and my Wahoo love will be restored.

I remember when us Orange residents first were told a Wahoos was going to open in the Circle. I thought, "It can't be! This is too good to be true!" So when it finally opened, I felt like Christmas had come early. I've been a fan of Wahoos in general for a long time. Their food is always delicious and fresh. This particular Wahoos gets my vote for Best Wahoos Location though (yes I just assigned myself official award-giving privileges). After a not-so-stellar experience at Gabbi's in the Circle a few nights ago, Wahoos put it to shame and for much less of my hard-earned money. The staff was super friendly and attentitve (I think every one working greeted us at least once). I ordered my usual: the Two Enchiladas combo with red sauce, black beans and brown rice (their brown rice is some of my favorite from any restaurant). It was piping hot and perfectly seasoned and I chowed down on every last bite. The restaurant itself is probably one of the largest Wahoos (if not THE largest). Plenty of room to sit inside and a great outdoor patio area complete with heaters and a very cool fire pit at the front for those crisp California winter evenings. Some people dream of being rich or making it big in Hollywood. I dream of having a Wahoos within walking distance. Thank you for making my dream come true, Wahoos.

Their prices have continued to rise over the last several years, but the quality of their food has gone down. It was expensive 5 years ago, compared to competing Mexican food places like this... and it's even more expensive now. The food is okay and the restaurant is clean, I just wasn't wowed by it like I have been at Wahoo's in years past. Plus if you're going to increase your prices, you can't also lower the quality of your ingredients. Quality is important. This is something that restaurants don't understand, as soon as they start to see some success... it has to be about the food, not the bottom line.

  • Sharon H.

The Old Towne atmosphere is a great location, and I love what Wahoos did to restore the building. The fire pit is also a great feature. The only issue with the location is the difficulty parking at times, which is typical with most of Old Towne. The food is always fresh and tasty. They are a bit overpriced, and chips are not included which is a disappointment with Mexican fare. But otherwise it is a fun place to hang out and eat dinner with friends.

Very good, pleasant, pet friendly atmosphere.I had a garden salad with oil and vinegar dressing and shared chicken taquitos. They have a wide variety of foods to choose from and they have a good selection of healthy options.

Had a lunch date with my son! It was his first time eating fish tacos , he liked them . Said they tasted like chicken... Giggles. Nice spot to sit back and have a beer and just chill!

Familiarity breeds contempt - and children -- Mark Twain Familiarity with your lover is what initially makes sex really good -- Susie Bright Another lunch with my son, another Wahoos. His favorite restaurant since he was born; we usually visit the Tustin location. But with the new Old Town Orange spot now open, we decided to pay a visit (along with a trip to the Candy store). The remodel looks impressive although the interior is a bit too sterile and institutional. I prefer the outdoor patio with fireplace, view of the Plaza (from the front - rest is a brick wall) and colorful seating. Some of the workers we know from the Tustin location including a Hispanic manager/crew leader who I always call Cute Carmen :) She has worked at Tustin forever and always is smiling with great service. One of my Yelp friends calls it gringo food and that is an apt description....especially since the surf culture it is based on is predominately gringo. But eaten at the restaurant (frankly I do not think their food travels well), it is always fresh, flavorful and consistent. I enjoy the Maui Bowl (Teriyaki steak with brown rice), my son likes the chicken bowl with white rice. We always get extra salsa with our chips which is free. I also like the fact they have Pepsi products. I love these lunches with my son; familiarity will never breed contempt in that case (although familiarity - along with copious amounts of wine - did bring him into this world). :) Recommended as always.

I have been going to Wahoo's for a many years but I have to address the "Maui Bowl item" as this has happened several times at the Orange, Tustin, and Yorba Linda locations. Why does the beef look dull if you order the item on non-busy hours such as I did at 8:30pm this past Saturday evening 6/7/14? The only time it has the deep marinated taste is around lunch or dinner time. The Maui Bowl meat was horrible tonight and I gave it to my dog which was a waste of my time and money. P.S. I am not the only one that has this complaint which I found below. Also the extra salsa I received was frozen. Very poor experience. Another Customer- I always get the Maui bowl at all the Wahoos I go to. Their wahoo bowl doesn't taste the same as others. A little disappointed. Doesn't have that sweet teriyaki taste. Another Customer- yelp.com/menu/wahoos-fis…

It's Wahoo's. There's not much else to say. It's quasi-mexican, but not as heavy. My favorites are the burrito combo, the bowl or a salad. The burritos are good because they are light. It doesn't feel like a gigantic gut bomb. Same goes for the bowl. A good amount of food, but you don't feel the need for a three hour nap afterwards. If you are watching what you eat, I honestly think their salads are one of the best things going if you want to shed some pounds but feel like eating out. One of the extremely few places where you can have a really low calorie (450?ish) salad that is good. Most salads at restaurants are expensive (no idea why) and suck. I always get the spicy chicken and have them leave off the chip pieces. Combined with salsa and some guac, it's low cal, filling and actually tasty. Being able to watch alternative sports while I'm eating and listen to KROQ type music doesn't hurt either.

First time at Wahoos EVA!!!!!! Ok, I can't believe I've never been to a Wahoo's before LOL!!!! Out off these types of eateries, Baja Fish taco still reigns supreme! So mom and I were wanting something different and she didn't believe there was a location in Yorba linda. Seriously my mom did not believe it. But for some reason we didn't want to go to that location, so we found out they recently opened a spot in Old towne orange area. Its very cute, I can't compare it to the other spots since I've never been to a Wahoo's before. Great outdoor seating and spacious dining room. It does bother me that they don't have a SALSA BAR!!!!! So moms and I were looking at the menu and man it makes my head hurt looking at this menu full of options, combos and sauces! Seriously I feel like I needed a damn pad and pencil to write down what im going to order and what sauce , brown rice/white rice, steak, chicken, veggie, cheese , bowl, enchilada, taco burrito etc etc etc. Making my head hurt while your in that que line :D So I finally ordered from the nice cashier. I ordered the combo meal, steak enchilada ( with the green creamy sauce) and fish taco. Mom ordered steak enchilada, steak burrito (both green sauce) and shrimp taco. We also ordered tortilla chips and salsa. I must say for take out food took forever to come out, but if you ate there food came out at a very reasonable time. Anywho.... So get home get into the food. Already not to a good start. How do you order chips and salsa with no salsa! WTF. So I took the little bit of salsa they put in my combo ( the salsa wasn't bad actually) So I eat the fish taco first. It was fresh BUT who doesn't put any kind of sauce on a fish taco , I like the white creamy baja type sauce on fish tacos usually. The steak enchilada was aight. That meat looked and tasted like Chipotle's "steak." I should have known to have expectations on their "carne asada." The rice and beans portions were big and those tasted a little more than ok. I will come back to try other plates but this is Gringo food at it's best!

I love Wahoo's! The idea of putting together Hawaiian with Mexican with a dash of Cajun was genius. My good-looking assistant and I finally made it to this location today. So, basically they spent like a million dollars completely remodeling the location, a beautiful old house, and when you walk inside you would not notice because it looks like every other Wahoo's. Okay?! I got a Maui bowl. The steak was good, the seasoned brown rice tasty and the cajun white beans were awesome. One problem I have however is how stingy they are with their rice and beans. These must cost them a few pennies and they act like they are giving you caviar or their first born child. (-1 star) The only negative part of this location (which is not Wahoo's fault) is the parking is indeed a clusterf***. Yelpers who have subtracted stars because of this have to understand that this is the Orange Circle and it is inherently busy. We parked behind the place off of Lemon at the American Legion parking lot, which is probably frowned upon but, hey f*** it, nobody was around, the lot was empty and we were in a hurry. The other two lots were full and besides it was super easy getting into Wahoo's from the back. Wahoo's is also based in Orange County so when you eat here you're supporting a local business, which is always cool.

I eat at a wahoos once or twice a month and I always like the food. I like this location because we can sit outside to enjoy the California daytime weather, and if it's a little chill at night you can sit next the fire pit.

I tend to find myself at any Wahoos in the area! They have a nice selection of fresh and healthy recipes to satisfy all appetites. My particular favorite that I have discovered there lately is the Wahoo's salad with shrimp! Fresh leafy lettuce, lots of shrimp (no skimping), shredded cheese, tortilla strips on top and a good helping of salsa fresca and guacamole, which pretty much eliminates the need for salad dressing (if you want to save the calories)! The Wahoo's sandwich with grilled chicken is also quite tasty. Lean white meat nestled between soft bread with cheese and fresh guacamole is great. Your option to have it with french fries or beans and rice, or just a la carte! This cold and flu season, try the Wahoo's chicken soup! It's a tasty staple that is kicked up a notch! Garnished with tortilla strips, and I'm not sure what they add to the broth to give it that hint of spiciness that is guaranteed to help clear the sinuses. good stuff!

It gets kinda crowded for lunch, but I love this place. A nice place to relax and enjoy a drink. At one point I ate here every day for like a month. Never got tired of it.

Watch out for over salted food here. Had to send the highly seasoned Cajun white beans back as inedible, otherwise a nice resturant.

Very tasty & healthy food at a very real good price ! Best fish tacos around the area . Love the cosy outdoor dinning ! You must try it !!!

Good location, cool place, very spacious indoor and outdoor seating. Neat historic landmark for a Wahoo's! Service is friendly and very efficient. Food is good, although personally, I think they give too much rice and beans and not enough of the main course. Cool overall.

  • Megan G.

Ignore the crappy skater punk decor which looks like your 14 year old nephew was hired to stick all over the walls. Maybe ignore the music too, as punk is not the best background noise while eating food. The location just off the Orange Circle and the wonderful outdoor patio complement the fish tacos and the drinks, which you may love. Do not be ashamed of this love. Fish tacos rule.

Wahoo yahooooo! You have been to Wahoos, just maybe not this one. Love the new place. The food is always fresh and good and the people are awesome. Love the outside fire place. Way to go Wahoo at the Circle in Orange. Now go to the Pakua place on the corner and work out!!

  • Amber M.

I don't know what all the fuss is about this place. The food is bland and NOT that great. It is NOT Mexican or Tex Mex so do not expect that. I prefer Rubio's over this place.

    (2)
  • Rosa C.

Two stars for the food. Zero stars for the service. I called my order in for pickup and still waited there 20 mins. All because the girl behind the counter decided to ignore me and put my order under the counter, instead of call my order number...grrrrr I am still mad and this happened two weeks ago. Oh and the parking situation is also horrible at this location. I think I will continue to drive to the Tustin location better. Sorry Wing this location might be your biggest headache. But, I still love your food.

it had been a few years since i'd been to a Wahoo's before heading over here for lunch so can't really compare to other locations, but i'd definitely come back here for lunch. the order takers and server were friendly and helpful. the place got full pretty quickly -- it's a mix of college students and working professionals. they completely gutted the building but kept the original structure, so the outside has that Old Towne Orange feel but the inside looks like probably every other location -- stickers galore! i had the Baja Ladas which were delicious (obviously a bit on the heavy side considering they're "wet") with rice and half-black/half-cajun white beans (preferred the black to the white beans). a nice place to grab a bite, but if you're coming during your lunch hour, get in early or come in later to avoid the crowd!

LOCATION and AMBIANCE: We heard about this new location, so we definitely had to try. OMG -- totally cute! It's like a house converted into a lovely little restaurant. However, it looks like it would be more perfect as a tea house instead of Southwestern. It was a bit confusing because it just didn't seem to fit my idea of what Wahoo's should be (although I've been to three other locations and all of them were all different structures). This particular one had a had indoor area, but also a patio, and front yard seating with trees and white fence surrounding it. FOOD: I love Wahoo's because of the healthy selection and affordable pricing. I ordered the combo #1 which is one fish taco with beans and (brown) rice for under $5! And though it was just ONE taco, the whole plate was very filling and left me completely satisfied. The fish tasted fresh and so did all the salsa. Absolutely wonderful! SERVICE: The service is always super! Knowing that Wahoo's was founded by two Asian brothers from UCI, it still surprises me that all the staff tend to be Latino. But that's besides the point -- they were all very friendly and cordial. Our host (I forget his name) kept checking on us (even though we sat outside and a little inconvenient to see).

**walking around the Orange Circle, debating which bar to embarrass ourselves in today...** BOTH STOP DEAD IN TRACKS. "Wahoo's Opening Soon!" JAWS DROP. HEARTS BEAT FASTER...overcome with joy. Mary, Jesus and Joseph, I couldn't wait for this place to open. Yes, I've been to Wahoo's before and I love it - and now...we have one...walking distance...from our house...across the street from District Lounge...who said prayers aren't answered? This location is pretty awesome. I love how outside it is still a beautifully restored version of the hotel but the inside is kick ass Wahoo fun. First time there everyone was super friendly, which I both appreciated but assumed was because they just opened. We have gone back a few times after and service is as great as the first day. Super friendly, and really efficient. The place is always clean and has plenty of seating. The patio seating is really fun for those beautiful days and people watching. Food - great as always. Piping hot, fresh and delicious. I love taking my step-daughter somewhere she'll be happy to eat and not just stare and play with the food like we're making her eat thrown up dog food. Thank you Wahoo's - making lives easier one meal at a time. Parking - not a problem for me (walking) but I could see where it can be a pain. There are a few public parking lots surrounding the circle and on Lemon (by the bus depot). This may require some walking but it hey, it's free parking. There are some surrounding residential streets that do not require parking permits, so good luck to all! Rock on, Yelp.

Ok the location is kinda like little house squished between two buildings, like the meat in your taco. Friendly staff with great follow-up service. Food isn't much more fabulous than Baha Fresh or Rubios but tasty as always. Drinks are refillable. The Baja Rolls appetizer however was a little soggy and very bland, even with the sauce. As the only location in Orange it's a great place to hang out outside during a nice day. Parking bites during busy weekends but it's not too bad if you don't mind walking around Old Town Orange. 3-stars for me as I wasn't overly impressed but it's the only place to get a healthy fish burrito or taco in the area if you don't want the typical fried battered kind.

Staff - Amazingly attentive and helpful Food - Priced great, tastes amazing, get the green sauce for sure! Location - walking distance from work, in the historic part of Orange so pretty much amazing that we have some new blood in the area at a great price! great outdoor seating.

Great food and friendly service. Came here for lunch with my coworkers and had a great experience. I could not believe how fresh and flavorful the food was. The prices are a little on the high side, but it is definitely worth it. Love the location right next to Chapman. I will definitely be coming back for more. Keep up the good work Wahoos!

The salad bowl with grilled fish is my go to! It is an extremely good salad and comes with tons of guacamole and your choice of dressing (ranch, cilantro, balsamic). It is delicious and it's around $8 which I think is a steal! I love it!

Took my two boys to Wahoos tonight ! My oldest had the carnitas quesadilla and my youngest had the fish tacos kids meal.... They ate every bit ! I had the Cajun fish which was on the spicy side but delicious !! Not mention the 25c beer special this month rocks! (But you only get one at that price with a purchase of a bowl entree) ...a second one woulda been better!!! Great atmosphere and fun for kids! Lots to look at and big screens playing Vans TV...don't forget to bring a sticker to put on the wall!

The place is clean and staff is friendly. Parking can be hard to find in this area. The food was fresh and tasty. We had the chicken burrito, Kahlua pork and fish taco. Everything was good and pretty straight forward.

Great location in Old Town Orange. Extremely friendly staff. Great food. Took my aunt who is from out of town. It also was my daughter's 6th birthday. The food was great. Very flavorful. But the service was even better. My aunt mentioned to one of the employees that it was my daughter's birthday. She didn't realize that Wahoo's is not the type of business that "sings" to you on your birthday. Or, so I thought. Soon after she mentioned it, the entire staff showed up at our table and sang Happy Birthday to my daughter complete with a brownie. They even tried to MacGyver some candles out of some wood skewers! It was my first time at the Orange location. But it definitely won't be my last.

Can't say enough good things about this place! My only issue is I don't like seeing franchised resturaunts or stores in this area as I love the ma and pa stuff and support them. I feel like having whahoos right across from the famous district lounge may hurt their business and I'm an avid supporter of their taco Tuesday and hope they will continue doing it as people may get drinks and venture over to wahoos

5 stars for the location, service and cool outdoor seating. 3.5 stars for the food. The tacos were pretty good, but the Mahi bowl tasted weird. Don't think it was made for an Asian person's pallet.

Awful customer service. Sheyla is a horrible, rude girl with a bad attitude. We LOVE wahoo's, but THIS location is extremely unsatisfactory. Waited in like for 15 minutes, Sheyla yelled "next" without smiling (maybe she does not know how?) and I walked over to her, she did not once say hi or hello - continued to received crap service from her. Order came after waiting 20 minutes, and came wrong. Had to wait longer, still was wrong but was told it was 'fixed'. Went home to eat, food was WRONG!? How hard is it? All in all I spent an hour and $40 on this trip and emailed a complaint. Took over a week for someone to reply, and another few days for me to actually be offered some compensation - a $10 gift card and no apology from a manager!!! Are you kidding me?? Horrible horrible. Wahoo's is supposed to be great... guess this location has A LOT to learn.

So I wasn't too thrilled about this meal. The location and the building itself was so cute and awesome! Its in a historic building which used to be a hotel back in the day at the circle of orange. Now the food......I ordered the Carne asada with black branch and rice. the meat was not good, it was bland, and didn't taste like meat. It lacked the spices I'm used to and was dry. The beans and rice were good, but I mean compared to the meat, the beans and rice tasted like the best thing in the world. They also do not have any salsa's to add to your meal, only 1 sauce that tasted like Asian sauce to me. Oh well. At least they did have tapatio.

Great food and friendly staff! The new building has a very homey feel to it, you feel like you're having lunch at someone's house. Patio seating is great on a nice warm day!

The food at wahoo's is good, but the service at this location is lacking. I specified no cheese / dairy on my tacos and when I came home they all had cheese and one even had sour cream all over it. Really disappointed.

I literally waited over two years for this location to open. Living only blocks away I am now a frequent visitor. I love the #13 Wafu bowl (brown rice, black beans). With tax, I'm out the door for $8.88. A great deal on a delicious, healthy, local dinner.

I have never been to wahoos before this visit, honestly I didn't expect much but I was very pleasantly surprised. The seating is excellent and great on a beautiful day, food was good as well. Only reason it's not five stars is due to the food not quite being amazing but I will absolutely be back. Nice job

It's a great location in a nice vintage building. Clean and friendly. My burrito was ok but not as flavorful as I was hoping for... and I was a little surprised that they were charging for the small amount of chips and salsa they provide. Overall, I would go back and eat there again.

We frequent Wahoo's in Orange at least once a week. The food is delicious. I absolutely LOVE the soup. There is no better soup anywhere. I also love the fish and rice. Yum. Wahoo's is always clean. The people who work there are friendly and take good care of the customers. We know when we go to Wahoo's to eat, we WILL run into friends. It is a fabulous place with excellent food.

i love wahoos, better yet in my opinion this is there best location they have- its in a restored old home, the only down side would be parking but if you go a little earlier than the norm lunch hour (12 pm) you will be sure to find a spot.. but the overall service is great and the food of course is delish!

the food was good until i got to the rice and almost swallowed a whole bayleaf! and just so people know bayleafs are fairly big and have really sharp spiky sides on them i know there used as a seasoning but theres a reason you take them out befor serving and when i went in to tell the manager she avoided speaking to me for 20 minutes and when we did talk she argued with me saying thats how they make there rice and would not accept any of my constructive critisism , and so for that i refuse to spend my hard earned money where the food is mediocre and the service sucks

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
