Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

So today was my first time going to Loco Burrito! I was a little hesitant at first because this place has been a thousand and one things and it's always going out of business. I was totally in for a surprise today when I went and the food was Fantastic! They have a 5$ menu with a bunch of different options! I got the hard taco and enchilada. It was so tasty. The meat is seasoned so well and yummy. Nice and tender . There fries are also very good. I can't wait to go back and try more things!

Used drive by this place everyday and never stopped . We were looking for a place to eat and my husband found this on yelp. One of the best places to eat!!! Super clean, great friendly customer service , amazing food!!! We ordered tacos carne asada, al pastor, sope, and a cheesy taco!!! Everything was delicious! I highly recommend the cheesy taco . They have a great salsa and chip bar . Chips were fresh and warm. The red salsa was by far out favorite . We will defintetly be going back here as regulars . It really is hard to find somewhere local with such good customer service, fresh homemade Mexican food, and clean!!
(5)Rocky E.
I had the chicken& beef street taco's, chicken chimichanga with rice & beans. After eating two street taco's I was full. I ate the rest later. the food is out standing & prices are good. Very clean place with good service. THE REAL DEAL
(5)Carol M.
Loved the hospitality. Burritos were very generous and yummy! Loved the salsa bar. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the girl that took our order was not knowledgeable about the menu. However she was kind and asked for help, which is all that matters.
(4)Antonio B.
Service was good and quick and the food was amazing. Definitely get the cheesy tacos. Will be back when I feel like destroying my diet
(5)Kim K.
Probably the best al pastor burrito I have ever had. The meat was super flavorful and the last minute crisping on the grill top was the perfect touch. The chip and salsa bar is awesome and delicious - and clean too! Service was fast, food is cheap, and staff are very nice. I wish I lived here, I'd be in Loco Burrito every damn day.
(4)Sabra S.
I had the street tacos today, they we're ok. The salsa was bitter, not good at all. The quesadilla was made with nacho cheese sauce, who does that.
(2)Lisa A.
The food is good, the price is right, and the portions are great. I read the reviews on here and decided to stop by before we hit Chuck E. Cheese. The reviews were right on. My tacos, al pastor, were delicious. The hubby ordered four tostadas since he's a big eater and was embarrassed when four huge tostadas showed up at our table. Two were enough to fill him. The place is in Moreno Valley, so of course its location is in a questionable area. The building it self is really small, with very few tables inside and few more outside.
(4)Rene E.
Had the chimi burrito and the tacos al pastor, and they were really good! Nice clean place and they had corn with mayo, parmesan and butter. Enough said!
(5)Gonzalo C.
It was good place to eat and definitely. A bang for your buck. We got the 3 meats burrito (carne asada, chicken, and shrimp) they are huge!!!!!!!!!
(4)Tays T.
Came by today for a quick lunch. I ordered the Carne Asada Burrito, everything on it. Like what Kathy V. said below, the burrito was in perfect harmony. The carne asada was a little juicy, not dry like most carne asada I have had. However, there were several bits and pieces of tendon. Small hiccup in an otherwise good burrito, I guess. The rice and beans inside the burrito is usually what I would eat on a plate as side dishes. The rice and beans provided a nice contrast to the meat inside the burrito. They also have chips and salsa. The chips were crispy and fresh, unlike other places I have been to! I'll be back to try their other items!
(4)Noneofyourbiz B.
Good stuff. The cheesy tacos rule. The chips & salsa are fresh. The rice is delicious. My only complaint is I ordered 3 tacos of 3 different kinds (asada, pastor & pollo), but then they brought me 3 of the same (asada). Oh well, still tasted delicious. I'll definitely be back & will finally try the pastor & pollo. : )
(4)Juicie L.
Good street tacos. Bring cash otherwise get charged .35cents. Boooo! Friendly staff. I wish they would clean the floors, and maybe even wipe down the bathroom door! Sticky rest room door & sticky floors are not appealing!!
(3)Tony N.
I greatly enjoy the tacos here. They have a help yourself chip and salsa bar with some decent stuff. I was surprised how clean it was inside as well. Good place for some quick quality Mexican food
(4)Daniel G.
First timer here and loved it. I'm usually hard to impress when it comes to Mexican food but this place is great. Not the type of place where they already have the meat made.
(5)Kay C.
Well I was looking through yelp to find a good Mexican place and I think ive found my new favorite place... Ive tried a few other places but this one is the best by far!! I loved the customer service and the food was amazing esp the Street corn!! Thats a must have!! And they gave me a free churro to "welcome me to town" they were all very sweet =] everything here from the service to the food and even the short wait was great!! And The salsa they had was good too.. ill def be back..
(4)Brenda R.
I've lived in Moreno Valley 4 years and have drive past this little place idk how many times, until hubby and I wanted el Torito taco Tuesday but refused to drive down the 91 during rush hour so we turned to our good ol buddy yelp. A place with 4 1/2 stars and 100+ reviews in moval??? Okkkeeeyyy.....We got our food maybe 2 minutes after ordering... They have a salsa bar with tortilla chips. The salsa was a bit watery for my liking but it had a good flavor. I got a carne Asada taco, adobada taco and the Barbacoa taco my favorite, very flavorful. Hubby got a carne Asada torta.. Our selection was kind of boring which I realized after I went through the pics on yelp.... Maybe next time I will get the guacamole bacon wrapped hot dog and some cheesy tacos!
(4)Ashley M.
My 3rd time here first 2 times i had the carne asada burrito .ummm Bomb then the chimichanga meal deal thing good as well .this place oo oo oo...and im stuffed didnt couldnt possibly finish n one sitting. Y did i just find this place
(5)Richard M.
Came in today ordered a combo for 5 $ ( 3 carne tacos two sides) the favor of the meat is seasoned very nicely. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants in Moreno Valley and I've ordered a carne taco from them all .. And they are all bland in comparison, this one reminds me of the tacos I had when I was a little boy on the coast lines of El Salvador, mama would slaughter a fresh cow (Henry) I remembered his name because he was my favorite.. I would take Henry on fishing trips and I would fall asleep on this back as he carried me home.. He tasted great with a hint of lime..
(4)Julio C.
The burritos are ok not the best in Moreno Valley but they will do the job of filling you up
(3)Stephanie M.
2nd time at this great place! I had a chicken torta! The bread is nice and fresh. It has queso fresco (Mexican white cheese), avocados, tomatoes and all the fixings for the makings of an excellent Mexican sandwich! The guacamole salsa is so great too. Free chips and salsa are an added treat. The night we went it was super busy and I think he was either the manager or the owner but he was out cleaning and serving which I thought was awesome. 5 big stars from me :)
(5)Kevin C.
The food here is pretty standard but the chips and salsa bar makes it worth coming. The service is outstanding and always makes sure everything is stocked. They recently changed their weekly specials to exclude carne asada which is pretty lame in my opinion. No more $3.99 carne asada burritos... The daily $5 combos are a good deal though and the street corn (elote) is delicious. I always get the fish tostadas on Friday when they're two for the price of one. It's definitely a good amount of food for what you pay. I've also tried all of their different meats and would say that barbacoa is the most satisfying. The carne asada or al pastor are nothing special and other places on the block have better tasting meat. The burritos are filled with rice and beans which I dislike because I prefer it stuffed with just meat, pico, and guac. The only time I ordered the torta, the bread had stale edges and carne asada was dried out. Street tacos are basic and come standard with two bland tortillas. Salsas are good but the pure red one tastes just like Valentina or Tapatio sauce from a bottle. Their agua fresca drinks are on the pricier side and have way too much sugar (it's like drinking syrup). Will be returning to try their fish tacos and carne asada fries to see how they compare to other taco shops in the area. I wish they served lengua here because it would probably make me think differently about this place.
(3)Brandi R.
Some of the best tacos I've ever had especially on 99 cents Tuesdays!!!! The shredded beef melted in my mouth and the corn in the cob was awesome with the Parmesan cheese on it... I'm in town for 3 weeks and will defiantly come here a few more times before I leave!!! Ohh did I mention the have a free fresh salsa bar with chips too????
(5)Eugene I.
I like the people who work here they're always usually friendly and cool to converse with. I also like how they have chips and salsa that you can get on your own. Food and prices are also decent
(3)Melissa M.
It's a hole in a wall but man does it have some amazing food! My favorites are the barbacoa burritos and al pastor tacos. Talk about Mexican food heaven! And unlimited chips and salsa is never a bad thing either. Love this place, love the daily specials and love that it's friendly on my wallet. And the staff is rather friendly, so I'd say there's not much to loose. :)
(4)Ulysses L.
Always a great stop to get your burrito on! Wokers are nice, free salsa and chips, and a light atmosphere that will keep people coming from time and again. Food is delicious and that's coming from a guy who is very picky when it comes to Hispanic food. I would recommend everyone to come at least one time.

Loco Burrito. To the idiot from July 1st, get a fucking watch, also you don't leave a 1 star because you don't or can't read the hours on the door, you fuck. I feel a little better now. Twice this week, I had some amazing tacos from this taco shop or burrito shop. Basically it's a small fast food mexican restaurant with many eating options. Hello I'm Tim, I've come for your tacos, "yeah that was stupid but what the hell, so are 90% of the review on yelp." The place pretty much spotless, if you don't count the non-native customers with there overly fed kids, from over the fence about 150miles south. Clean your table, wipe the crap off the windows your kids just made, a upside down happy face on. OK. The customer service is very good, I'm always happy when I can walk into a Mexican restaurant and they understand English, I'm pretty sure that's the language we speak here, but no-a-days who knows. The young very cute girl behind the counter is helpful, tells you back your order just in case she missed something, and most of all, which is very rare, she works while on her lunch break. The Tacos. Tuesday. Chicken Taco, stuffed with flavorful tender grilled chicken, had a little spicy bite to the flavor, very good. Cilantro and onions along with two hot corn tortillas. 4.5 Tuesday. Carne Asada, very tasty steak, you could taste the seasoning in every bite, with cilantro, onions and hot tortillas. 4.5 Tuesday and Friday. Al Pastor Taco, this is one of the best I've had in awhile, nicely cooked marinated pork, nice sweetness to the meat, not overly done like most taco shops, along with cilantro, onions and the hot tortillas. 5 Friday. Carnitas Taco, WOW flavorful meat with a mild BBQ flavor, tender tasty, yummy, just a all around awesome taco with cilantro, onions a d tortillas. This is an awesome taco. 10 Friday. Grilled Fish, small chucks of fish. "I don't know what kind of fish, but it was fish" with a mild white sauce, along with tomatoes, cabbage, cilantro and warm tortillas, for some reason most fish tacos come with a cold or just lukewarm tortillas. 5 If any of my comments offended anyone, deal with it. Total for both days. $14.00. Including tip. I'll be back next week, one of each taco and a water please.

Moving from AZ it was hard to find something other than mr Fillburrito chains for Mexican food without going all the way to ANA or LA to find a place to eat. This place is really good and I recommend trying everything to find your favs! As close to grandmas cooking as I can get :) A+
(5)Monica C.
Amazing sopes. Cheesy tacos ahhhhamzing. Salsa bar very yummy & clean. Street tacos. Everything o point.
(5)La Toi I.
The food was a 3.5, but I gave a 4 for their service. The owner was very nice and involved in the customer service. Cheesy tacos were delicious. Carne Asada fries were good but could have used more guacamole and sour cream.
(4)Zo H.
great prices for good food. you can tell the owner really takes pride in his business too.
(4)Anthony C.
Best place for Mexican food in the I.E everything is fresh the and made to order the staff is very friendly I always get the Nachos crane Asada they are delicious or the quesadilla is also good everything here is delicious I would give it more stars if I could EXCELLENT
(5)Debbie E.
Yum yum yummy! Their loaded fries were the bomb! A bit out of the way for me but worth the trip. Staff was super friendly & the place was clean. My daughter had their 2 tacos platter and so did I - delicious! Shared the loaded fries with my son & step-son - the guac was really good and my son devoured it!
(4)JD C.
Best lunch special in the state I haven't been here long but this place is off the chain friendly clean outside dining I like it
(5)Claudine T.
I'm a fan of this place! Their tacos are so good, and the amount of meat they put is a lot more than in other places. I personally liked the carne asada and al pastor. It's cheap, tasty, AND you get unlimited chips and salsa. Definitely coming back for more
(4)Henry G.
In the $ category this is a legitimate restaurant. The decoration and look was welcoming and very clean. Servers were nice. The food is auténtic and it has there own touch at the salsa bar.
(5)Leslie N.
Have been here a few times and always liked the food, not so much today. Ordered the trie threat burrito the carne asada was fatty and the shrimp tasted really fishy. Husband ordered the shrimp cocktail and said it was the worst he'd ever had. This place is off my list of go tos.
(2)David S.
Love this place! Very authentic, delicious and well priced. Their luch specials for 5 bucks can't be beat. Im starting to eat here weekly!!
(5)Leeanna C.
Pretty damn good! Everything from bacon wrapped hot dogs, to everything Mexican... it was all good. They have a salsa bar too that was good too. I would go back every week if I lived closer.
(5)Natty C.
Love this place! :D This is the best places to come for Mexican food in Moreno Valley.
(5)Taneisha K.
That was Bomb DOT com Had the $5 taco combo Asada & Pastor...delish. My mom had the $5 chimichunga combo shredded beef and chicken... fantastically fresh. The beans and rice were cool. Aside from the delicious food the customer service makes you wanna stay. The staff was very attentive and familiar with their customers even us "newbies". Basically I have a new spot in Mo Val for my Mexican food cravings. I'm going back tomorrow. OK I went back and had the TRIPLE THREAT (INSERT MEXICAN MUSIC, WHISTLES, AND SOUNDS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY) . DAMN THAT WAS GOOD HAD 2 MORE IN AS MANY DAYS. Cons: 1.Don't go late the closer it is to closing time the colder the food.
(5)Nicholle R.
Loco Burrito is amazing!!!! and that's coming from a Mexican. Carne asada quesadilla is phenomenal. Boyfriend had the bacon wrapped shrimp bowl and wouldn't shut up about it. So if you are looking for overly satisfying Mexican food, without harsh consequences, this is the place to go.
(5)Edward C.
It was not awful, but was not that great either. I had the Triple Threat Burrito, which comes with chicken, beef and shrimp. Somehow every bite tasted like it was mixed with chorizo which came unexpected. The tamarindo fresh water was very good, and the unlimited chips and salsa as well. I was quite surprised by the reviews and was expecting more. The only thing I can think of is there may not be too many "good" places in MV and perhaps folks living there don't know any better (?) .. I will not be back.
(2)Arman K.
An excellent, cheap alternative to many Mexican restaurants around I.E. The highlight of their menu is definitely their tortas. On Thursdays, you can get a Torta here for around 4 dollars which is a steal compared to any other locations. It's full of flavor, with huge portions of meat in it, enough to fill up two people. I'm surprised more people haven't mentioned the tortas in their reviews. You guys should definitely try them! For a poor college student, this is definitely a good place to dine. I took away one star because I only really eat their burritos, tortas, and enchiladas. I tried other things on their menu (fish tacos, chimichangas, street tacos) but didn't really like them as much as the aforementioned.
(4)Kim M.
I like the meals that come with an entree and 2 sides. The 2 sides I like the best is the Mexican rice and black beans. Those meals are very filling and tasty. I've gotten the flauta one and it was good. The hot dogs are pretty good too and unique with the Street Dogs, the NY Dog and more. The free AYCE chips & salsa is nice to have access to. Especially if you're super hungry and need something to munch on before your food comes. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The service is fairly quick and the decor is fun and unique. There's a flat screen too with random shows that play. It's fairly small restaurant but there's a patio seating area outside. Overall, good quality and good taste.
(5)Isaac T.
If you can't make up your mind, get the Triple Threat Burrito. Carne asada, chicken, and shrimp with beans and rice. I've never been this picky, but I wouldn't get it again. Don't get me wrong. If you like big burritos stuffed with meat, the Triple Threat will be great. There are alot of reviews that rate it highly. I would get just shrimp next time though; or a chicken burrito. The shrimp was by far the best taste in the burrito. The chicken was good also. I wasn't impressed with the carne asada though. Maybe it was just too much for me or just got a bad batch. My friend that went with me is far less picky than I and he said the same. They also use the little grainy rice. Not that there is anything wrong with it but it just doesn't suit me. It's a texture thing. I sound harsh but I still like this place. Nice, clean, and cool inside. They have a shaded patio in front to eat at. Good music on with a big screen inside. I really liked the vibe. My friends say to get the Carne Asada Fries. Check out the pictures people have posted to see what looks good. I'm going to get some tacos next time, I think. I like this place and hope they do well. OH YEA, free chips and salsa bar is always a plus!
(4)Josue R.
Came to here today for an LA Street Dog, and it did not disappoint it was awesome. Also had some asada fries and the portions were huge, couldn't finish it but oh so good. The service was great as well, the brought us the food out and were very friendly. This was our third time here, free chips and salsa, as always. Awesome little spot always busy but very quickly got our food; less than a 5 minute wait time. If you are in the area stop by. Thanks Loco Burrito.
(4)Jean B.
Location is a bit old. Not especially clean. Prices get 5 stars! We had Tuesday night .99 tacos. Food gets 5 stars. I even requested fresh cucumbers.. & they were super accommodating! So, service gets 5 stars. Thanks, fellow yelpers!
(5)Chuck C.
Outstanding tacos. The barbacoa and carnitas were great, but the baja fish taco is truly excellent. The fresh chips and salsas are also fantastic, especially the verde. Friendly, quick service makes this place a guaranteed stop whenever I'm in town.
(5)Tony H.
Best Carne Asada tacos in town! I found this place because of yelp! I was glad i stopped by. Great Service. The owner always makes sure food is on point and correct! I seriously recommend this place if your into Real Mexican cuisine. Great place for pick up if your in a hurry. Actual Reviewer. No Fake Stuff here! Two thumbs up!
(5)Alexis M.
I went home to visit my family recently and my mom convinced us to go here. While I was skeptical, the surrounding area and outside weren't very nice, I was pleasantly surprised. Even my grandmother who is the least adventurous and never tries anything or anywhere new loved it. The food was very fairly priced, barely over a dollar for the tacos. I got chicken, barbacoa, and carne asada tacos all equally delicious with amazing flavor and quality. The tacos are fairly small street tacos but had a big quantity of meat and toppings, I didn't feel like I was being chinced. There was a salsa/chip bar, salsa was okay nothing to rave about but the tacos are a must have. I have been craving them ever since. The inside is cute, no AC but quite a few fans so it isn't uncomfortable, staff is nice, its not very big but it wasn't too busy so that wasn't a problem but I could see it being one if you go during a dinner rush.
(4)Queen M.
Best place !! Love the food and the people that work there. Very friendly . Highly recommend this place :)
(5)Caitlin Y.
Free chips and salsa!! Yayyy! Their food is pretty great as well, area is a bit sketchy though as you go down. Their nacho mama burrito is great and I had gotten their carne asada fries but veggie instead of the carne. The cook came out and asked me if I wanted a ton of fajita veggies and beans to make up for the meat. And boy, when that thing came out... it must have been a pound of food if not more. Definitely a place to stop by and eat at.
(4)Johnny T.
Loco burrito is the bomb! I come here every weekend with my girlfriend and every Tuesday with my house mates. Their triple threat burrito is always a good choice or their pastor tacos for taco Tuesday. Salsa bar is on point and so are their portion sizes. Best place in Moreno Valley and Riverside
(5)Shelly A.
yummy! Love the burrito bowls.
(5)Andrew F.
Amazing carne asada burrito. That's the first thing I ever get when I visit a new Mexican restaurant. The meat is fresh, tortilla delicious.. Its all a perfect mixture of awesomeness. Free chips and a few selections of salsa. Big TV showing soccer and just a great experience. Definitely coming here next time I'm in the area. Btw its a bit pricey but worth every penny!
(5)Valley G.
I tend to be more critical about places that serve Mexican food because I LOVE IT so much. So, since I love to eat Mexican food I make it a point to find AWESOME spots. Burrito Loco is that type of place. I ordered two tacos de asada. The meat was not hard or full of fat. One thing I absolutely hate is biting into a taco or burrito & the meat looks & taste horrible. The tacos were a right combination of flavor and well seasoned asada. My boyfriend had the loco burrito which comes with meat, guacamole, sour cream, rice, beans, salsa, AND fries! I tried this burrito and let me just say it was not only HUGE but so dam good! We drank this all down with a not too sweet but just right horchata (flavored rice water). I love how they have the chips set up by the salsa bar & you can serve yourself as much as you like. They also have a flat screen television to keep you entertained. Now I want to bring up something I always give EXTRA points on because it tells me more about the kind of establishment I'm in. I went to the women's bathroom and that bathroom was immaculate. Big Kuddos to Burrito Loco on their great food, awesome service, & extra clean bathroom!
(4)Nick E.
First time coming here. Food was pretty good with good size portion. Price was really good. $5 for a grilled chicken burrito (wet). They put a nice size scoop of guacamole unlike most place that give you a little spoon full. I definitely recommend Loco Burrito.
(4)GMoney N.
This building has been a lot of different good places from Mexican to BBQ. Finally someone with a good senses of having a business owns it. The food the service and the price are all well worth the trip. I ordered one of the 5 buck meals. Can't beat that your main entree plus two sides add a drink for an extra buck something you have a full meal under 7 and there is no shortage of food. I was full took it home. Breakfast! The salsa and chip station well stocked and clean. Thx loco burrito see you soon
(5)Alex M.
Do It... Do it... Do it!!!! I was in town and wanted to try something new so I yelped me up this place and I am so glad I did! The food was so delicious and i love love loved the salsa bar! I went around lunch time and it was not very busy but there was a steady stream of people in and out. It seems as though the majority of business was carry out. I ordered the carne asada street tacos plate with potato salad and rice. The rice was fluffy and delicious and the potato salad was good too. The TACOS.... oh man... they were bangin' and also they had a generous portion of meat inside. You can get whatever additional toppings on the bar like cabbage or extra cilantro or lime. It is not often that I say a place makes better food than I can at home, but this place definitely does. The cashier and manager (I guess) were both so friendly and had recommendations but I went with the $5 meal. I mean my friend and I's lunch totaled like $17 after drinks! You cant beat that!
(5)Dan O.
Favorite Mexican food in Mo Val. My parents live in Baja Mexico and this place nails the Baja style food. Fish tacos are dead on and great. Cheesy tacos are also a home run.
(4)Lilly S.
I had to sit down and pen a review for this spot as people need to know it exists. This of course is Moval so it's not a culinary mecca however Burrito Loco offers quality food in a clean, inviting environment and it is independently owned. Highlights: Fresh Salsa bar (especially green sauce) w/ good crispy (non-stale) chips; Burritos are HUGE; Tortillas are grilled on the stove and have a nice golden crisp; Pastor burrito-the meat tasted expertly stewed and spiced; Quesadilla was big and loaded with vegetables (& came with guacamole and sour creme). I want to try: The Torta's (they look goood); The hot dog menu -I so want to try the LA Dog. I doubt they will match the lovely goodness of true street dogs but I am jazzed there is a local place offering them. * Their pinto beans are cooked with beef fat so vegetarians are limited however I forgot to ask how the black beans are cooked so they may be a possibility.
(4)Tina C.
Love this place!! I've taken a friend && even got a friend sone items to-go. They had both liked what I had gotten them & when I had taken them. The price was even good! Customer service was great! I will come back again & tell others :)
(5)Jonathan P.
Finally was able to visit this restaurant last night. Walked in and it was very vibrant with a very friendly staff. Everything was very clean and so far apart from some horribly managed mexican restaurants that i have been to. The menu was filled with so many tasty choices that it was hard to decided on what to get. I Finally decided on al pastor tacos and a guacamole dog. They have a Salsa bar with about 4 different types of salsa all with very distinct flavors. They had complimentary chips that were fresh which i soon learned was a trend in the restaurant. I received my meal after trying to stay away from the chips that i became addicted to. The Al Pastor tacos were amazing. The first thing you noticed is the great flavor from very fresh ingredients used. If i had to describe the the flavor it would be a home made kind of mexican food. Not something that has been under a heat lamp or stale.VERY FRESH! (can not say that enough). The Bacon wrapped hot dog had to be my favorite. The meat of the hot dog was not like the usual kind you get. You could tell this was a better quality dog. I love bacon wrapped dogs and hardly see them in restaurants so i thought this was genius to have. The Guacamole on top of the dog did it for me. You were able to enjoy the flavor of the Avocado and it wasn't masked with other useless ingredients. CAN NOT WAIT TO GO AGAIN! a little out of the way for me but worth the drive.

Just moved to Moreno Valley about a year ago, from Whittier/Pico Rivera. We were were used to taco trucks and authentic Mexican food where we lived. We stumbled across Loca Burrtio and it cured our homesick cravings. The nachos are by far the best thing to order and the carne asada quesadilla. Every time we go the staff is always friendly and helpful. A very nice atmosphere. Bathroom is always clean. The unlimited chips and salsa is always a plus.

YES! YES! YES! Finally a place close by that I can go for when I'm craving a carne asada burrito! Yes, Riverside has Santanas or Los Jilbertos... but I don't really enjoy their carne asada burritos. Santanas and Los Jilbertosdon't put too much effort into their steak... so it really shows. However... Loco Burrito's carne asada burrito was ON POINT! The meat was flavorful and cooked to perfection - not dry AT ALL. (it was pretty busy and the food still came out perfect) I'm not usually a refried beans/rice person in my burrito... but they put just a touch to add some contrast... so don't be afraid to just order and eat as they make it. It all works in perfect harmony. My eating partner ordered the fajita burrito... (which I thought was kind of odd) but it was super delicious! It had the flavor of the smoked, charred beef, bell peppers and onions... it was like eating fajitas... which is what you expect. So it definitely delivered. Also, they have an open salsa bar (WIN!) You can grab chips and salsa or all the hot sauces you need. I was definitely not shy. However, the food comes out quickly so don't fill up on chips/salsa. Save room for the good stuff. Happy eats!

Arne asada burrito was yummy, next time I'm adding lettuce and sour cream! My husband enjoyed a burrito wrap and a fish taco, the burrito wrap was huge, and tasty!
(4)Nancy F.
My first time here.. good, fast and friendly service. Their Al pastor is the best and their shrimp tostada was awesome and so fresh. The salsa stand is very well stocked also very fresh. I'm glad I gave it a try.
(4)Dillon T.
The Triple threat burrito is good, but my favorite things to get here are the hot dogs. The LA dog and Guacamole dogs are awesome.
(4)Johnny N.
Yeah.. it's loco o' right... The food is off the charts! My friend told me about this place. I'm going back for more. I tried the burritos and tostadas. The meats are good and flavorful. The service is fast, with nice smiles on their faces. The location is clean and safe. No worries there. The chip n' salsa bar is organized, fresh, and clean. You can't go wrong with this place. I enjoyed it!! I will be back! :)

I am an avid Mexican food eater; fast food, restaurants, L.A., home-made, hole in the wall, I've had it all. I was really looking forward to eating here after reading all the raving reviews. They have their own chip and salsa bar and their house salsa was absolutely delicious. I had a L.A. Hotdog and 3 carnitas tacos w/ an horchata while my date ordered the 2 flautas with drink, beans and rice. My L.A. hotdog was phenomenal but my carnitas was not as great. I LOVE CARNITAS. But this was dry and overcooked. Sad to say, the carnitas at "ALBERTO'S" was tastier. The one thing I did like was the fact that they stuffed the taco with carnitas so I was pretty stuffed after three tacos and a L.A. hotdog. The horchata was too sweet for my taste buds but if you like your horchata sweet, this drink would be right up your alley. Lastly, my date was dissatisfied all together with her flautas. She was just as excited to eat here as I was and did not even finish one flauta. Although my first experience here was not ideal, I do plan on coming back and trying something with carne asada since other reviewers spoke highly of the carne. I also plan on trying the shrimp cocktail because I love a good cocktail. Service was extraordinary and friendly. Salsa bar was fresh and delicious with non-stale chips. Hopefully in the future I have a better experience so I can update my review. I'm still excited for something outstanding from Loco Burrito.

Carne Asada...That is all!!
(4)Nicky G.
They have a lot of good food. Try the al pastor burrito and carne asada fries. Their nachos are good for 2 maybe 3 people, it's a big portion topped with whatever meat you like. I only gave them 4 stars because they don't have tripas and buche tacos.
(4)Michael K.
Decent to average Mexican food. Didn't stand out from most other places in town. Not terrible but didn't make you sick which is always a win.
(3)Tonya M.
Delicious food and even better customer service! Love the carne asada
(5)Jessica D.
BEST TACO SHOP IN MO VAL! I am a huge fan and go here all the time. BOMB pastor (MY FAVORITE), asada, and pollo tacos! Tortilla soup is bomb! Burritos are huge and bomb! Carne asada nachos, BOMB! All staff is very friendly and you get quality with quantity!! Absolutely love this place! Plus the salsa bar is always packed fresh and you get as much as you want (don't be shy)!
(5)Anna C.
I came across this place on Yelp, and seeing that it had 4.5 stars with 200 reviews, we definitely wanted to try it. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in. Very friendly service! They have a cheap $5 menu that is guaranteed to get you full, and specials from Monday thru Friday (?), including Taco Tuesdays!... I like that they have street corn as one of the side orders... It was very satisfying for me especially since I haven't had street corn in so long. Might I add, it was delicious!! Their carne asada tacos were very juicy and didn't lack anything, especially meat! The flavoring was also really good; you could really taste the citrus in it. I especially loved their salsa bar, which was very clean and fresh. They also have unlimited chips right next to the salsa bar. I liked that when we asked for water as our drink, they handed us regular sized cups (not the dinky little cups that you finish in one sip). My boyfriend and I don't really drink anything else but water when we eat, so that was a plus.
(5)Deja J.
SO , this place is like AMAZING !! I literally would stop by every other day if possible. I always order the 5$ combo with two tacos and rice and beans...well worth every penny spent. My favorite mexican place in Moreno Valley. Everytime i go my food is ALWAYS Fresh. I would deff recommend this place if your looking for some quick on the go authentic mexican food or even if you plan on dining in...well worth it !!
(5)Nansi M.
This is a place I would have not gone to just by driving by. We've been there a few times after we searched it on Yelp. I always order the Carne Asada which is really good! One of my favorites. I've only experienced great service. I only wish their chips were freshly made.
(4)Quiche J.
Just like all the other reviews. This is a little jewel in MV!
(4)Antonio N.
Very good carne asada burrito. Nice size for a good price. The horcata was good too but a bit pricey, over $3.50 for a large. My wife enjoyed the fish tacos.
(5)Anahli L.
Love this place! Eat here like once a week. Usually order something with grilled chicken. The tostadas are really good! & love how they have chips && different types of salsa out for the customers.
(5)Ashlee B.
I was really impressed with the owner's attitude as well as the staff's. The owner knew that we were from out of town and he wasn't going to be making regulars out of us but treated us as though he was. The place is clean as well as fast. I love the chip bar with all of the fresh salsas. The tacos where excellent. When I pass through here again I will be back.
(5)Daniella E.
good

Glad I tried out this place. I will keep this review short and simple so that you can finish reading and head on over if you're craving Mexican food. (: This joint is colorful and reminds me of a Mexican restaurant that should be beachside. The inside is colorful as well and I think I've seen the booths, if I'm not mistaken, in Del Tacos or something. There were sample desserts (which were GOOD). I ordered the Triple Threat Burrito, complete with shrimp, carne, and chicken. The burritos were HUGE, the burrito only had ~3-4 shrimps but they were HUGE; AND the meat was juicy! I left satisfied with my meal. The chips weren't that great, but I dig the salsas. You get what you pay for. Now, I wouldn't eat there a lot since the burritos are so humongous but I will possibly be back in the future.
(4)Moe R.
Couldn't give it less than 5 stars. Must try the asada tacos... and the barbacoa burrito is excellent, didnt expect this from a place in Moreno Valley, very clean, very fast and friendly service ALWAYS and the salsa bar is the best thing here!
(5)Paul L.
This is my new favorite Mexican place in Riverside County! Their Triple Threat Burrito is delicious. It's part carne asada, part chicken, part shrimp, and all delicious. The marinate on the chicken is tasty, and the chicken is cooked to perfection. I will definitely come back and try out the rest of the menu.
(5)Jonnell T.
The al pastor tacos are legit!!! Thanx Lissy B I was in Moreno Valley getting some work done on my car and I looked across the street and say Loco Burrito. I remembered Lissy B saying this is the place to go to if you're in Moreno Valley. So me and my son crossed the street (enter joke: why did,,,) and we were not disappointed. We had al pastor taco and carne asada tacos and the hotdog. First off, their 100% beef hot dog was excellent. Wow, Weinerschinitzel better watch out. The carne asada tacos were ok; actually I was a bit disappointed. The carne asada was a dry and a lil under seasoned. But boy, did they make up for it with the al pastor tacos. The al pastor tacos deserve their own paragraph. These are the ones! Their al pastor is on a whole other level at this place. If you get anything here, you have to try their al pastor. They had really good prices and their daily specials are even better. They're giving out a good deal everyday. They give complimentary chips and the salsa's are really good. A+ for their salsa bar. Come, you will not be disappointed.
(4)Rowan C.
Yum, that's all I need to say. Everything we've had has been excellent. Some of our favorites include the shrimp flautas, triple threat burrito, and cheesy asada tacos. You will be pleasantly surprised by this restaurant.
(5)Edgar C.
This is definitely my new place to come when I want Mexican food . Great food for a good price
(5)Sandvich C.
I have been to this restaurant three times so far and all three times my experience has been great. This restaurant is located in the south end of Sunnymead Boulevard. It has a fair-sized parking lot for the maximum capacity of people that can dine in. There is a small apartment complex behind the place where the back doors (?) face the parking lot, so I would be cautious of parking too close to them. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor dining. The outdoor dining is situated underneath an overhang adorned with festive decorations. (Unfortunately it "overlooks" the road and a car mechanic shop across from it.) The indoors is even more colorfully decorated. There is a decent-sized flat-panel TV on the left side of the dining area displaying various Spanish-language TV channels. The restaurant has a salsa bar with medium, mild and hot sauces; some sort of avocado/guacamole sauce, pico de gallo, fresh cucumbers, zanahorias en escabeche (I think that is what it is called anyways.) and other sides/toppings as well as home-made (?) tortilla chips. I would like to say the tables are too low or the seating is too high. It is not too much of an issue, but it feels weird to sit at the tables there. The restaurant carries your basic fair of Mexican dishes (Tortas, sopes, tacos, burritos, flautas[taquitos], chimichangas...) along with some various styled hotdogs. They also carry your standard Mexican beverages along with American sodas and bottled sodas from Mexico. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in the area and are in the mood for Mexican food.
(5)Tones A.
First time trying, I think it's the best Mexican food I've had so far. Even my picky son ate the taquito combo with beans and he doesn't even like beans. Great place.
(5)Brian M.
I had the Baja fish burrito. Good burrito and very large portion. Chips and Salsa was fresh. One of the best places to eat in Moreno Valley.
(5)Cindy A.
Service was good. just very busy!! Very polite. Enjoyed the good carne asada burrito and Monday's special (filling) shrimp cocktel.. yes that's how they spell it. ") kids had the chicken flautas.(they were not good, had no taste what so ever. The horchata had wayyyy too much carnation milk! Too sweet and way too thick! I got a tummy ache!! Overall we will return for the chips and salsa bar and the carne asada burrito.. stay away from the horchata unless you want a tummy ache and a very rapid heartbeat!! NO AC (NOT GOOD IN THE SUMMER) AND IN A BAD PART OF MORENO VALLEY. NOT ENOUGH SEATING AREA. VERY SMALL LOCATION.

Carne Asada Tacos were LEGIT! Came here with my husband, his brother and sister in law last month for Taco Tuesday after checking out the reviews on yelp. I believe the street tacos were $1 each. I ordered three carne asada tacos, my husband and brother each ordered two carne asada and two al pastor and my sister in law ordered the loco burrito. Everyone really enjoyed their food. The tacos came with a spicy sauce that was delicious (but hotter than expected), I have lived in California my entire life and have not experienced a better street taco to date. The service was great, didn't take any time at all and the furnishing of the place were nothing to write home about but they served there purpose which was fine with me. I was extremely tempted to try the arroz con leche which you can see in the display case at the register, it looked to die for. Next time we are visiting we will definitely stop by again! Overall a very good mexican taco shop, much better than expected!

Go here NOW! It is so refreshing to see a city thats close to 200,000 people, start getting awesome eateries. I gave this place 5 stars because it excelled in all the categories that are most important to me. 1. Amazing food that is fresh and so tasty! 2. Super clean and very welcoming decor/ambiance. 3. Helpful, charismatic, genuine staff. Our cashier was new but gave us some of the best service I have ever recieved at a casual restaurant. It was sincere and appropriate. 4. Amazing selection of items at a more than favourable price. This will be my new Mexican spot for sure. I had the Triple threat burrito and sampled all 4 salsas. Each was different but delicous. They offer whole wheat tortillas and black beans as options, which was cool, and the burritos was massive. There are daily specials and $5 meals which I'm sure are a big draw. This place definitely deserves 5 stars and I encourage anyone and everyone to come visit asap and see for yourself!
(5)Carlos M.
I come hear often and most of the time i try something new. Still haven't found anything i don't like. The fish tacos are delicious. The sopes are delicious. The tacos al pastor were really delicious! The chimichangas are delicious. The tortas are delicious. You get the point, everything is really good. Really nice staff. They also always have the football games on. I highly recommend you stop by and grab something to eat.
(5)Jorge H.
Great place to get your taco Tuesday on!! Tried the carne asada, al pastor and barbacoa and they were all very tasty but the al pastor was my favorite. I ordered them plain so I can add my own toppings from the fresh salsa bar which was very clean and appetizing. Excellent flavor from all of the homemade salsas took the tacos to the next level of flavor. Can't wait to come back and try everything on the menu including their hot dogs??? Yup, hot dogs!!! Nice job Loco Burrito!! Service was great!!
(4)Jessica M.
Food is good! Chips and salsa bar awesome! The mild is my favorite but they have 4 different types. We had the el pastor tacos with sides of beans and rice and I was surprised how good it was! Way better than Tijuana tacos! I had one "cheesy" and it was great :) I like that its cleaner than most little taco restaurants and they have so many food options not just street tacos ! My man and I are definitely coming back. We tend to be picky with these kind of places or anywhere we eat and we were not disappointed at all!! Yum yum yum!!
(4)Jose S.
I tried this place today and the street tacos are the bomb There home made chips are good as well I will be back again great place for cheap
(5)Sunshine M.
Shrimp burrito was AwEsome! The place is small and gets crowded as all heck but the all you can eat chip and salsa bar kept my munchies at bay while waiting for my food. The menu is way more than your typical asada taco or burrito joint. Choices, choices, oh the choices!
(4)Kim F.
Man, this is some good food. My friends and I can't get enough of it. I found this diamond in the rough thanks to yelp. Saw a few reviewers mention the Triple Threat burrito and street dogs so I just had to come in and try it...boy was I glad I did! One word...amazing! Everything here is so welcoming, from all the fresh ingredients, to the clean environment, to the super friendly staff....and the prices are very affordable! After I tried the Triple Threat burrito and the guacamole dog, I had to tell my friends about it and we have quickly become "regulars" here. The homemade kettle chips are really good, and the aguas frescas are absolutely delicious. They even have a bacon-wrapped shrimp burrito...YUM! I will definitely keep coming back because there are many more things on the menu I want to try, if only I can stop ordering the guacamole dog lol...

Whenever I'm in Moreno Valley, I stop by at the car wash down the street called iWash Express and get my car really clean and then go to Loco Burrito for the best Mexican food and great service... Carne asada burrito was delicious. They have $5 platesdelicious. Salsa bar with spicy salsa and homemade drinks, there was 7 of them. Very pleased and totally whole in the wall spot that I love.
(4)Maya A.
Quite honestly, the food is ok, but the management is awful!! I attempted to reserve a taco man to come out to our neighborhood block party and first the manager quotes me one price and then when I'm ready to make a deposit, decides that he wants to possibly charge me more "after checking with his father". After he decided to do me a favor and "honor" the original price, I made several attempts to actually reserve their catering service and apparently the manager is the only one who can reserve it, however, clearly money in hand is not his motivation. I tried for 2 days to deliver a deposit. Then, after calling him and him telling me to come anytime after 11:00 the next day, I come by, only for him not to be there and for no one else to be competent enough to handle the transaction. I've never had to chase someone down to deliver money to them. Not only will I not be having them do my event of 100 people by the way, I will never go there again. Word to the wise: If you have them do your event (which I wouldn't because I wouldn't even trust them to show up on time or at all!), go in and get your quote in writing--don't make a phone call because clearly they have amnesia on prices when you call!
(1)Neecie B.
I love this place!!! Been searching all over the Val for a taco spot that had the salsa bar and I found it! The staff know how to take care of their customers!!! They keep it clean also!!!
(5)Denisse C.
If you haven't been here, GO NOW!!! This place is amazing! All their food is delish!Tacos, burritos, sopes, seafood, L.A style hot dogs, unlimited chips and salsa, aguas de horchata, jamaica, pina, tamarindo, desserts... and so much more! Oh and they cater too! I love that they have great specials during the week. My favorite are the " Cheesy Tacos" w/ guacamole.! Yummy they are seriously my favorite! Like I said if you live in the area you have to check this place out, you won't regret it;)
(5)Ron T.
If you're ever in the Moreno Valley area, it is IMPERATIVE that you stop by Loco Burrito. Their food is great, especially their "cheesy tacos". It was so good, I hired them to cater my graduation party.
(5)Mike W.
Finally......FINALLY!! Thanks to Yelp I have finally found the perfect Carne Asada Burrito! It's called "El Jefe" which gives you double meat....and oh what wonderful asada it is. Unlike all the other joints you find around the IE, where the carne is dry and boring......Loco Burritos carne asada is spectacular. It's well seasoned and juicy and just plain awesome. It really makes me hate other Mexican food joints....it's that good. And yes, the people who work there are so friendly it makes you feel welcome.....unlike many other places as well. Do not skip out on this place!!
(5)Mike B.
Salsa bar was awesome. Restaurant was clean and service was great. Al pastor burrito, chicken taco, and beef taquitos were all super flavorful. We'll definitely be back.
(5)Alejandra G.
The food is ok, better than at other mexican restaurants, it's clean, owner & waitresses are friendly....
(4)Gary R.
The commentary on Yelp got me in the door. The quality of the food and service has brought me back. I travel often most of California and Arizona and this is a keeper. Great fresh food. Impressive presentation and tasty dishes. I compare it to the better Mexican food joints around L.A. except this place is very clean and helpful friendly service. I enjoyed the vibrant interior. A variety of latin salsa music playing put me nice mood for being a quick lunch break. A selection of salsas from the mild side to the kicker Chili De Arbol salsa. Mmmm good! Fresh marinated vegetables ay the bar. again with the workers on top of it keeping it spotless. My first time having thier Street Corn. Wow. Each bite was a wonderful experience. From the pollo to the asada . Right seasoning and each delicious. I use to travel as far as San Diego for good burrito now have no reason too unless I want to burn 50 dollars of gas. Good job guys. Keep it up!
(5)Camilla B.
What a deal!! Fresh hot food. You can't go wrong eating here!!! This is a must try!!!
(5)Lindsay R.
After driving around Moreno Valley with the intent of getting something to eat, but not knowing entirely what we wanted, we drove by this place while on our way to pick up my boyfriend's car from a nearby tire shop. On a whim, I looked it up on Yelp and saw all the fantastic reviews that the restaurant had received. We quickly decided that this was the spot, and almost as quickly as the first bite of burrito hit our tongues, we realized we had made a fantastic decision. We opted to split one of the pastor burritos and an order of the homemade kettle chips. Unlike some of the local Mexican restaurants, the quality of the meat was fantastic: I didn't feel like I was eating gristle. The flavor was great! And I was so happy with the potato chips. I can't think of any other restaurant that serves fresh, homemade chips! So great! We were, however, a bit let down by the salsa bar. Though they had all the usual fixings, like cilantro, limes, carrots, etc., there was really only one good salsa there. They just didn't have that right amount of kick. The service at the restaurant was also great. When the cook brought out our burrito to us, he noticed we were going to split it, and then offered to cut it in half for us and then brought it out on two plates. They also have some pretty awesome five dollar meal deals - we might be taking advantage of those the next time we visit!
(4)Kimberly L.
OMFG the tacos from here are sooooo good!! Meat is seasoned and cooked to perfection. That's all I need to say :D
(5)Kristy H.
Delicious! Went for Taco Tuesday, .99 carne asada tacos! They were delicious with lots of meat. Owner was very nice. They have a free salsa bar too! And the homemade horchata was great! Will definitely be back.
(4)Larry L.
So I ordered 4 tacos. Was asked if I wanted everything on them, which included onions, cilantro and salsa. I said no to the salsa. Well, guess what, they came with that dark red salsa anyway. They were taken back and half assed scrapped out. Came back with salsa still here and there on them. And I got to agree with another reviewer, the salsas at the bar are HEAVILY watered down! To the point to were it doesn't stay on the chips. So who cares if the chips are free when you can't keep anything on them, including the pico de gallo. You'll get through a third of one of those little cups and all the chunks are gone in the pico de gallo and the rest is just liquid. The asada is not bad, better then most places in Moreno Valley. It does taste like they put something other than just pepper in it, but even then, it is only lightly seasoned. Did come across a few bits of fat but not huge pieces to make you gag. The al pastor. People who claim this is the best pastor they've ever had need to go to Los Angeles and try some real stuff. They grill it here and it is NOT done the authentic way with a vertical spit (with layered: meat, pineapple, meat, onions....repeat). It is however the better that i've had in Moreno Valley, but still not the best, and I came across larger pieces of fat in it (vs the asada) to where I had to dig through the taco first and remove all the fat before eating it. Though this place hasn't been open that long, the interior is already looking shoddy. They painted the seats black and have been heavily scrapped to were white is coming through. And one thing that gets me is the use of colored duct tape on the windows instead of paint. The glue on the tape is drying out and starting to look tacky & horrible. This is the 3rd time i've been here, haven't been impressed. Honestly I would rather just take a drive a bit further out to get better.
(2)Poppa D.
I think I liked the people better than the food. With so many Mexican restaurants to choose from this one is pretty good. I didn't like one of the salsas, it was pretty watery. I didn't like that creamy stuff on the tostada. The carne asada burrito was kind of bland but the meat was tender. I was just stopping by so I've only eaten there once.
(3)Efren G.
Love the food here. Can't go wrong eating here. I recommend "El Jefe Burrito" if your really hungry. You won't regret getting it. Ask for Asada and pastor meat in the burrito.
(5)Shea T.
Lives up to the almost 5 star rating! Great Mexican food! The carne asada was fantastic.
(5)Elaina R.
Cool place I really enjoyed it had amazing Davos service was really gpod.. nice little joint
(3)Francisco M.
Chip and salsa bar is very tasteful. The cashiers are helpful and greet with a smile. Great customer service and don't take too much time as most restaurants do. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. And lost but not least the food is great!
(4)Kim B.
Love their street tacos! This place should not be missed...check this place out when you come to Moreno Valley.
(5)Allan A.
Thanks to the Hot New Businesses tab on Yelp for leading me to this place!! When it comes to Mexican food, my go to place in So Cal is usually Alberto's. Not because they're awesome, but consistently good all around. But I've grown bored of the chain, and desire something new and rich in flavors. And Loco Burrito does the trick! I went with my girlfriend and we both had burritos. They have a ton of items, but I felt a good way to judge the quality was with burritos since they're everywhere. And these burritos were huge! 50% bigger than what Alberto's offers, and loaded with the protein of your choice! I had the Triple Threat Burrito loaded with Chicken, Carne Asada and Shrimp with the usual beans, rice and cheese! My girlfriend had the El Jefe Burrito standard with double meat! Tell you what, if you're in MoVal, this is the place to go for Mexican food! Not to mention the awesome customer service!
(5)Mitchell J.
Finally got my wife to go "loco". She said the food was great. She had the carnitas torta, and i had the $5 meal with the three tacos(carne asada). The food was extremely fresh(piping hot), and incredibly fast. I can't wait to try something different next time, it is my new fav mexican food spot. On the way out you could smell grilled steak, someone was outback grilling steak. It feels good to support "loco"l business.
(5)Matthew D.
Excellent. This will be my "go to place" in mo val from now on. The salsa was very spicy, which I like, the service was friendly and the food was delicious.
(5)Eugene Michael O.
omg so good. try the cheesy tacos or triple threat burrito
(5)Tim M.
I was driving by one day and saw the sign 'Loco Burrito' - looked it up on YELP and saw the reviews, tried it out, and... It's my favorite taco place now - by far. I ususally get carne asada wherever I go but the chicken here is off the chain. I love the cheesy tacos. You won't go wrong - try it and you'll be hooked too!
(5)patrick c.
Wow, I have not had a burrito this good in a very long time. I have had many a burrito from Riverside (magnolia Alberto's next to navel orange tree display, JB's) and they're alright. I also went to school for a bit in San Diego (Cotixan, Vallarta's, Sergios). Loco Burrito is amazing. It easily places itself among the top of my all time favorite burritos. I got the Triple-Threat Burrito (6.99) which has steak, chicken, and shrimp with rice, beans, and cheese. It was SO much food, and the meat to rice/bean ratio was well pleasing. Highlights about the place include the amazingly authentic mexican taste, the free chips and salsa bar, and the manager/owner/some guy gave us a free basket of their homemade potato chips. You cannot go wrong with this burrito. My friend also ordered an LA Dog which was a bacon wrapped hotdog with grilled onions and peppers, which was also very good. The prices here are hard to beat. Weekdays they have a specials menu which includes very good deals, and they also have $5 meals on a daily basis. I would TOTALLY return here if I was not going back to being a vegan starting tomorrow. Meat, it was fun while it lasted, I LOVE YOU!!!!!
(5)Cristina C.
Their food is delish..!
(5)Carmen G.
This is place has some good authentic Mexican food with a chips and salsa bar. They have good selection of foods, along with there $5 Meals to choose from. And also carry a Mon-Fri daily specials after 3pm. I love Taco Tuesday for 99 cents any taco of your choice. They also Advertise on local Pennysaver and Your Villa Moreno Valley. Give it a try...yummy food!
(5)Lisette M.
All the yelp reviews convinced me to give this place a try. I'm glad i did! The restaurant is pretty small but comfortable. The chimmichangas, fish tacos, tacos al pastor and beans and rice were really good! Its the most authentic and tasty Mexican food I've had in a while.
(5)Oscar H.
Four bucks and change for a huge breakfast burrito, unlimited chips, very good salsa bar with lots of fresh veggies and pickled carrots. Burrito was good. If I go back and they have a great vegetarian burrito, I'll go five stars.
(4)Sean K.
So my buddy Jody and I hit this place up after seeing it's great Yelp reviews and it's low prices. Yelpers were again correct!!!!! First the place is not only very clean, but really bright and "new" looking. It also has that kind of comfortable feeling of being at home. I believe that is because the people working there are very happy which transmits a home like atmosphere. Needless to say the service was excellent, the young lady at the counter was helpful and REALLY into working there. We ordered off the $5.00 combo menu, I got the 2 tacos, and Jody got the 2 chimicangas, I also ordered a L.A. hotdog as I was thinking the tacos wouldn't be that big for just $5.00, that was a bad assumption!. For mine I got one barbacoa, and one carnitas taco. It also came with a regular drink, and a ton of homemade potato chips. The chips were perfect and freshly made. The carnitas went first, the taco was stuffed with delicious crunchy and tender chunks of some of the best flavored pork I've ever had! The carnitas were really good, but the Barbacoa was so good that I had to capitalize it! Again stuffed with meat, and so flavorful that absolutely no salsa was needed, I could have eaten that meat by the bowlful, it was that good! Now the kicker, the thing I was too full to finish, but I will for sure eat again: the L.A. Dog! A huge hot dog (all beef? not sure I didn't pay attention) wrapped in bacon with grilled onions and peppers with ketchup, mustard and mayo (the girl that worked there told me that is how an LA Dog is supposed to be had!) The bacon was crispy, and yet the dog was not overcooked, and the freshly grilled peppers and onions made it music to my mouth! All of it! SO AMAZING!!! And now for Jody: I could easily describe my meal in one word. Yummmmmmmmmmmm. I opted for the chicken chimichangas. Definitely a good choice. The chicken was super moist and savory, they were lightly crunchy and filled with flavor. There was a magically delicious sauce on top and I couldn't quite figure out what it was, I asked an employee and she quickly replied "It's a fettuccine sauce". Uh-May-ZING! All in all it was a wonderful experience. The staff was very fast with service and very friendly. A definite must if you want a delicious meal. Thanks Jody! It should also be noted that the salsa is as good as everything else, which makes it really good. Also your dollar goes a very long way here, expect to be full. My hotdog was over kill and only got half eaten and I'm a big eater. 4 big guys could eat here for under $25 and be filled up, easily. I will for sure be back, I need to try the burritos! I feel this place has a strong argument for the best Mexican food in ALL of the Inland Empire, and possibly on the short list for Southern California as well. YOU NEED TO EAT HERE!

Yelp let me down on this one. I gave this place a try based on their great reviews but the food did not live up to the hype. I had the carne asada burrito (which is my usual taco shop lunch). The carne asada had this really wet, odd tasting marinade unlike anything I've had on carne asada before. I appreciated the salsa and chips but the chips were kind of stale. Overall, I may give this place anothet shot (again based on the reviews) but there are better choices out there. For a better, cheaper version of this place, try Valencia's Taco Shop on Alessandro.

As we were on our way from Point A to Point B, we found this spot to have a quick lunch in the middle. It's not aiming to be a fine dining establishment, just a friendly little place for great tacos and burritos and salsa. And at that it really succeeds! Tasty, cheap, and fast.
(4)V G.
Been here three times and was satisfied every time. Their carne asada torta is phenomenal. The prices are great and the salsa bar is good.
(5)Kevin R.
Best Mexican food I've had in a while! Prices are appropriate for the portions. I had a triple threat burrito and only finished half! It was amazing. The red sauce is also really good. They offer great service! I recommend this for anyone that likes Mexican food.
(5)Andy A.
Amazing tacos, hot dogs, and tortas! They keep their restaurant very clean (they even have antibacterial hand foam by the door!) Very good specials after 3pm. Good portions for good prices for excellent food!
(5)Deborah H.
I have been to this place a few times because I liked the food. I always order the same thing. The place seems to be going downhill. The time before last, they got my order wrong and added dairy. Last time they were very skimpy and they raised their prices. I usually get full and have some left over but last time I was still hungry and filled up on chips and salsa. There are too many Mexican places. I will not be going back.
(1)Greg A.
First time here and can't wait to be back to try more!! Don't have to drive to LA or Santa Ana for good tacos anymore. I had the Carne Asada and Al Pastor Tacos with rice and beans and it was DAMN GOOD!!! Oh and the Horchata too!!! Prices are reasonable, you get what you pay for an the Customer Service was Nice and Welcoming. Man I'm getting hungry again!
(5)Phi L.
Great hidden gem. the food is fresh and inexpensive which allows you to order a variety and enjoy everything! the decor is nice, and they have a " help yourself" salsa bar that is GOOD. the workers are nice too.
(5)Kanisa H.
I just moved to Moreno Valley and have been trying different Mexican food places. This is the second one so far. I ordered the carne asada burrito. It was ok, but not too fond of the whole pinto bean in my burrito. I like refried bean style, creamy and not too lumpy. I know I will never find a burrito that matches up to my favorite spot in Los Angeles, but I just want to find one that comes close, just a little bit.
(3)Lauren H.
We ordered off the 5 dollar menu, and the portions were so huge we weren't even able to finish it all! We had the fish ceviche..friday special.. It was ok. I'm no ceviche expert lol but I'd recommend the flats taquitos or taco salad. All we bomb. And fresh! Everything came out so hot and very fast! I've heard great things about the burritos but I didn't order one, so I won't say anything about them haha. Oh. The desserts, also very good. I know they don't make them there but they order them from someplace yummy :) The staff is super nice and make you feel totally welcome. They explain the menu to you if you're new too!
(5)Orange P.
LOVE the food here! I am a vegan and very picky about my food and most places will generally screw up my order somehow (at least once), by putting cheese or some other animal product that I won't eat. Loco Burrito has never messed up my food, it always comes out perfect, they are always smiling and happy to serve me! They don't overload the burrito with one ingredient like some places, you know, when these places put like all beans or all lettuce or something and you hardly get anything else? This place doesn't do that. They make good burritos that are *balanced* and everything is in proper proportions. The 'help yourself chips and salsa bar' is great too. When you're done hoarding all the chips and salsa you want, you're food's about done. You must try this place!! YUMMY!!!!
(4)Dagmara A.
Hubby pushed me to come write a review for him since he's not a Yelper, but he went for lunch today and got the El Hefe burrito (not sure of spelling), but he said it was the BEST burrito he's had in the last ten years. Carne asada with al pastor and he said it was worth every penny! Go check it out. He also told me to write that the service was amazing as well.
(5)Jaime C.
Okay I Come Here Every Weekend and i just cant get enough of this place. The Staff Is Really Nice, The Food Is Great, The Place Is Looks Great, And No Restaurant Compares To Loco Burrito!!!
(5)Steve V.
Clean. Friendly, helpful staff. Food was great, and served fresh and fast. I'll be back.
(4)Adam S.
I went to Loco Burrito for the first time tonight after reading all the 5 star reviews. I had an Al Pastor burrito and was fairly disappointed. The rice was bland and mushy, and the pastor did not stand out whatsoever. The salsa bar is a good concept, but of the three salsas I tried, only one was worth eating. Overall, my expectations may have been set a little too high, but I won't be going back any time soon.
(2)Dave P.
great little place for lunch the food has always been good
(5)Jordan V.
Super cheap, super good food! Their hotdogs are delicious!
(5)Tony K.
Stopped for dinner after reading on Yelp and we weren't disappointed . Good service and friendly with good size portions. We brought our friends the next night and we all liked everything . I'll be back to keep trying more from the menu !
(4)Amy A.
The owners need cooking lessons this place is a dump. gross! im still sitting in this place and i coulndt even finish my order..im going straight to Albertos! Fuck this mess Dont order there disgsusting version of a "chimigianga" this is not a chimigianga. Its deep fried tortilla with monterey jack cheese a slice of pepers and 2 shreads of beef! Whaf the F i was pissed i ever tried this place. Stay away!
(1)Richard L.
I used to like it here for the good service, good food, and cheap prices. I don't know what happened since the last time I was here in October. I came for the daily special for today which is $3.99 torta. Since the deal starts at 3p.m. I waited half hour, no big deal. While I was waiting I ordered a drink and was charged $.75 extra for using my debit card. When it came time to order I looked at the menu and ordered a shrimp torta. The girl tried to input it in the system only to tell me that specific one is $6.99 even after 3p.m. So I switched my order for an Asada torta and al pastor torta. Again, I was charged $.75 extra for paying with my debit card. During my meal, I ran out of my drink and ordered a refill which costs $1.49 and again was charged $.75 for using my debit card. The owner was standing next to the register and I told him I used to like this place but all these inconveniences made me hate it and I would write a negative review about it. He jokingly told to cashier to kick me out. I guess he thought I was kidding. So all together I spent $2.25 for using my debit card and $1.49 for a refill which is free at any other place. $3.74 on extra fees, I could've got another torta. On the plus side, the food was really good. It probably deserves two stars but based on the owners lack of interest on his business, I will keep the one-star poor review.
(1)Jeremy-Liz T.
We live in the city and this place has changed titles sooooo much! I'm glad they found something that would work but by no means is this close to authentic. Cheap is not always better
(1)Carlos R.
Great place, try the triple threat! Good service, great food! All family owned and operated. The asada and chicken are very flavorful!
(5)Diana B.
I loveeeee this place, by far the best Mexican food in Moreno Valley & they have a Chips & Salsa Bar!! I come here very often and everyone that works here is so friendly!!! My favorite is the Birria/Barbacoa!!
(5)Kristopher E.
Great little place to grab some good food. Don't let the re-purposed Del Taco fixtures fool you this place is authentic. The street tacos are excellent and the ceviche tostada was fresh.
(4)Scott M.
Loco Burrito seems to be a huge thing around here, with all the reviews and such. It's a place with some fantastic food, but sometimes it's a little off. But hear me out, I recommend it. I've had their burritos with every meat option, and they are fantastic. The ratios in the burritos are right, where you don't think to yourself, "Hey, wait a minute. Where the hell is ______?". The burritos themselves are also gigantic, and are priced fantastically for what you get. Inside the restaurant is pretty standard for a burrito joint, but the salsa bar shines with fresh chips and a million choices of freebies to add to your meal while you wait. The staff is friendly and helpful, and is patient when you're trying to make a decision. They've also got a pretty good swath of drink options, which is great, too. The guac-dog holds a special place in my heart, as it may be one of the tastiest things ever created. Whenever I come here, it's a tough call for the guac-dog or a great burrito. I've also had the shrimp bowls, which were good, but came with a puddle of oil/butter/???. After sopping it up at home with a paper towel, the bowl was delicious. It just looked a little unappetizing at the start. Great place that's close to home, with some fantastic menu options. Will definitely keep coming back!
(4)Dan L.
This place is a great find! We found it on Yelp while looking for a cheaper / closer alternative from our usual Dona Timos in downtown Riverside. The place is so cozy inside, the food is awesome, they have great daily specials, and the staff was so nice. The outside seating area is cool, and they have a great chips and salsa bar - free. We had some chips and salsa while we waited for our takeout, refilled the chips before we left, and brought it all home. My wife had the grilled shimp tacos which were really good, I had the triple threat burrito which was boooomb, and we split a veggie quesadilla which was awesome, plus a giant side of guac. It was wayyy more food than we could finish and it was under $20. Will be back for sure.
(5)Yazaret H.
The best tacos in town and the nicest people I love this place!!! Taco Tuesday yayyy!!! :)
(5)Norma G.
I recommend this place to everyone!!! Delicious food, great prices and super clean..... Loved it!!!
(5)Tracy S.
This place is good. I have gone a few times now and the barbacoa is wonderful. They make kettle style potato chips and they have a salsa bar and all the house made sales are good. I love the cilantro sauce/dressing they make. The staff is friendly as well. This will be a regular place for me!
(5)Pancho A.
I work right next door and i go to loco burrito basically everyday there food is great love there Tortas
(5)Sophia M.
The food is cheap and delicious. The lady asked us if we were new and told us a little something about what they have and what's in it. Very satisfied. Good place to go to eat something food for cheap. Didn't even wait long for our food. I recommend you try it out.
(5)L B.
I judge my Mexican restaurants by their carne asada. I saw Lizzy B.'s review saying that it's good here, so I gave them a try. The meat was a good cut, not fatty or tough like you would get at most places, and the seasoning was on point. The onions, cilantro, and beans complimented the meat well. I felt that there was too much rice in it, and I didn't like the fact that the ingredients inside weren't mixed (bite one side and I got only onions, cilantro, and meat; the other nothing but rice and beans); however the overall taste made these things easy to overlook. Before I left I noticed that they sold aguas frescas, so I got a pina colada flavored one. DELICIOUS! It had the perfect blend of the flavors. Next time I come here I'm going to get one and add some booze to it. Rounding out the experience was exceptional customer service. The girl who took my order was very nice. Whenever I'm in the mood for Mexican food I'm coming here.
(5)Jimmy J.
Just drive on by... I ordered a pork burrito on a Monday night at 8:30 and after 1/2 hour went up to the cashier to find out why it was taking so long to assemble my burrito. I finally did receive my dinner and ended up giving it to my dog. The pork was so overly salted that you really couldn't taste anything else. For a $7.00 burrito you would be better off at Del Taco, where you can taste the ingredients which haven't been masked by so much sodium
(1)Sharawn T.
Me and my mom were dying for a good carne burrito and decided to try the loco guys out! boy we are glad we did..like many others i judge a mex restaurant by their carne and hot sauce! much to my dissapointment the hot sauce was not that good..it tasted very sweet like sugar and lime juice..but the carne was on point! seasoned well and juicy..not hard and dry and little flavor like so many other places have..i will def come back for the burrito..thats for damn sure!
(5)C V.
Eh, what can i say? They have nice decent Mexican food and this is coming from a Mexican. The price can improve a bit, but nonetheless good food.
(4)Mike S.
Clean, Friendly staff, Great food, Far superior to any of the other two Taco places on Sunnymead!
(4)Nicole R.
Fresh ingredients, quick and friendly service. Would go back again. Ordered fish tacos, carne asana taco, and one shrimp taco. Fish and shrimp were fried bit very tender and not at all dry. Carne Assad was also very tender as flavorful. Hubby ordered chicken burrito which was also very flavorful. We will return here again. Yelp or business owner needs to add address to profile.
(4)Heather S.
I have been here many times and have not ordered something i did not absolutely love!
(5)Susan M.
Was really excited to go here...unfortunately their Sunday hours listing is wrong...this is a real basic thing...don't give potential customers the wrong information.....
(1)Susan A.
This place is amazing. You should go there for the salsa bar. The avocado salsa is awesome, not too spicy. I had the fish tacos - slabs of fish with a delicous cream sauce. Generous portions and great sides. Sorry kids - I blew this month's food budget eating at Loco Burrito everyday!
(5)Lola K.
The tacos are amazing!! I decided to try this place after seeing all the good reviews it got, I'm so glad I did!
(5)Sandra D.
Great food. Nice people. Very busy when ever we go
(4)Rae T.
I added an extra star for the friendly and welcoming service. Before I forget, they do charge 35¢ to use debit/credit cards. After seeing Lissy B's review I stopped in on a Wednesday for takeout. I ordered carne asada burrito, al pastor burrito, asada nachos, LA dog, and a $5 soft taco combo plate with barbacoa and carnitas. In hindsight I should have ordered chicken on one of the tacos then I would have had a sample of all their meats. I prefer the grilled meats-asada and al pastor, but I must warn those who do not like fat, there are bits of fat and gristle, which I do not mind since it adds texture and flavor. The barbacoa and carnitas did not have the flavor and texture I was expecting after reading other reviews. They actually tasted more like they came out of the slow cooker. Also my taco plate did not resemble what was in the Yelp photos so not sure if I just went at a bad time or if this is one of those places that serve different portions for dine in and take out. My bf enjoyed the nachos so it is about preference since I prefer shredded cheese over the canned cheese sauce they use. The burritos were decent but could have a bit more meat although I am unsure if it is because I went on the $3.99 burrito day. I will try again on a non special day and if it has the same few chunks of meat I will have to order the double meat ones. The LA dog was good, not too many places selling good hot dogs in the area. I LOVE that this is one of few places that lets you take home a bag of tortilla chips for no charge! They have fresh avocado salsa, pico de gallo, and a mild and spicy salsa that they put on the tacos and the pickled carrots and jalapenos. Hope they do not take the salsa bar away! Another factor that will keep me coming back is the welcoming service. They forgot my pina colada drink and gave me a free upsize instead. I love that drink!
(4)Hector B.
This is now my favorite place for tacos besides King Taco. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, tasty food! The place is a bit on the small side and most likely gets packed around dinner time.
(5)Natalie M.
Of all people, my grandparents were the ones to introduce me to this place. They have been coming here regularly since it opened, and I'm inclined to believe their constant suggestion is why the salsas have all gotten a little bit more spicy. Loco Burrito is a fairly typical small taco place with brightly colored decor and casual interior. But their menu is extensive enough to have something for everyone without being too overwhelming. Favorites here include some of the best Al Pastor I've ever had, bacon wrapped Angus hot dogs that are too big for me to finish, and cheesy tacos that have cheese toasted on the tortilla before the toppings (and more cheese) are added. They also have a fresh, well stocked salsa bar and free chips that are made fresh every few minutes. The staff is friendly and efficient too, and the cashier comes out and pre-busses tables even though we could easily throw away our own trash. This is definitely one of my favorite local small businesses, and I'm sure I'll happily be coming back here frequently.
(5)Michael Z.
Finally, a taqueria that has bomb salsa. Yes, it is Loco Burrito in Moreno Valley. I have eaten at hundreds of taco trucks and stands all over California and Mexico and I must say that outside of my fav up in Stockton (El Gruillense Taco Truck) they have the second best red hot salsa around. It is spiced perfectly with Chipotle peppers, garlic and I can taste a hint of cardoman spice. This salsa is to die for. Anyway, lets talk about what this salsa goes well with. The carnes asada taco is nice street size and the meat is juicy, not dried out. The AL Pastor (even though technically is is not Al Pastor style cut from the verticle spit, Tromba) is more like adobada style (if you want original Al Pastor style TJ tacos down the street is the place, see my review, but their salsa doesn't compare to Loco). Perfectly marinated and moist and tender with chunks of pork and onion. The barbacoa meat is also outstanding, moist and tender that it melts in your mouth. This is all that I have tried so far, but I have only been there three times. I am trying their burrito tonight and later some of those killer specials that Lissy B wrote about (might say very well written) I am sold on this place and wont eat no where else if I want a rightous taco with that killer red salsa. One note the red salsa has a vinegar kick with it, so if you don't like vinagre you better try the other good salsa such as the mild red and green. The place is very clean and the free salsa and fresh and hot tortilla chips are great while your waiting. They even have pico de gallo (great with the chips) Their prices are great too and there are coupons for a free taco in Villa Magazine (Moreno Valey). Give this place a try you will see that it is about time we have a real taqueria in MoVal. As I say "A taco is only as good as it's salsa" Enjoy friends!! More info to follow once I explore the menu.
(5)Erika R.
First time going right now and the food is great, we ordered a triple threat burrito, el jefe burrito, beef & chicken chimichanga, asada fries, everything was fabulous.
(5)Marilyn P.
We just had another breakfast burrito from here. It was still very good! We had a carnitas burrito awhile back and it wasn't that great. The carnitas was salty and dry.
(4)Andrew P.
Clean, colorful, with a nice and varied menu of burritos, tortas, something called a burrito bowl and a chips and salsa bar to which one helps oneself. Nice variety of aguas frescas including horchata, jamaica, tamarindo, and others. I had the asado torta. Nicely prepared on tellera bread with sliced avocado, cheese (not sure what kind, but it was a nice chunk of white cheese) lettuce, tomato. Meat was tasty if a bit overly salty. A flat TV on one wall had Discovery channel going so we could get our Pawn Stars fix. In somewhat of a switch they had salsa music, most of which I recognized, going although I didn't see any speakers anywhere. Nice, I thought (note: huge salsa fan here, the music, not the sauce). About the only unforgivable here is that, as a burrito shop, I'd expect them to have beef tongue burritos in the menu. All the same, I'm bookmarking this spot because of the very good and quick service, the cleanliness of the table and restaurant overall, and because they offer wheat tortillas as an option for their burritos. That, and I want to come back and actually try one of their burritos. Give this place a try.
(4)Atilio M.
I went to go visit one of my aunts in IE and we decided to try this place out. It said grand opening so we said "What the heck". Holy fuck, this place was pretty damn good. I was expecting some nasty ass, grasoso Mexican food. However, everything seemed to be cooked perfectly and very appealing. I'm a health freak and so I decided to get the fish tacos, man they did an awesome job. They also have this cilantro sauce/ dressing that they recommended. I've seen it before at other restaurants but it was very rich and delicious. My aunt got the burrito and she also enjoyed it. We both tried their homemade coffee cake and it was really good too I broke my diet that day but it was worth it. Over all, their food looked amazing, tasted amazing, nothing burned, nothing under cooked, nothing oily or nasty. Prices were very good As you can see I'm picky and very critical. The only bad thing about this place is they don't have a location by me. HELLO when are you going to expand into the OC?
(5)Michael p.
I was in the mood for some Mexican food, so I decided to try out a new restaurant in Moreno Vally called "Loco Burrito." The menu has a variety of choices from the traditional burritos to street style hot dogs. In addition, they have an affordable selection of combos for just $5.00. I ordered the "triple threat burrito" which consisted of carne asada, chicken, and shrimp. I topped it off with there chipotle salsa... Spicy, but one of my favorite salsas that i have ever tasted. Loco Burrito is instantly my favorite restaurant in the Inland Empire.
(5)Jessica S.
Best food in Moreno Valley! The servers are great and polite and the food beyond good! Love it!
(5)Stephanie L.
The best Mexican food I have ever had, seriously. The gal at the front is so sweet. I had the fish tacos and my husband got a special ordered veggie buritto. Both were excellent.
(5)CRISTINA M.
Family owned and friendly staff. Good selection of $5 deals. Usually get the carnitas tacos. So yummy!!! Definitely will return.
(5)Val D.
Most amazing service... The workers here treat u like family.. Not only that, but the food is DELICIOUS! We tried 4 different things and everything was perfect. I just couldnt beleive how sweet everyone who works there is. I will defientley be back... New favorite spot!!!
(5)Tiffany F.
Omg. Best mexican food in town! Fresh, salsa baris clean, fresh, and tastey. Friendly staff. I hope more ppl discover this place! Awsome! Good job guys!
(5)H S.
This is the best mexican food place I've been to outside of LA. We got tacos and nachos. Everything was bomb! Workers were all cool as hell. Free chips and salsa. We even made little cucamber salads while we waited! I would have this for my last meal if I were on death row and about to get the chair! The salsas aren't that great but still 5 stars or 4.5.
(5)Suzette I.
Came here with a Group of like 14 to celebrate this guy going away to school. It's a cozy little establishment. But I'm really here to Comment on the food. Since my friend and I were knew here they told us to order the "Triple Threat" burrito. It has 3 kinds of meat: Carne asada, pollo, y camarones. Lol it was absolutely delicious I took a bite from my friend and he got 2 cheesy taco 1 pastor and 1 carnitas, he didn't get disappointed. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that I got the cocktail shrimp and crab. It was good but I felt for the price I got jibbed, it had 4 shrimps and little bits of crab. Alot of tomatoe, cucumber and juice. I end up throwing half of it away. :-( But I'll come back :D
(4)Cristine S.
This is the place to be on Taco Tuesday! As a former student at UCR, I can easily say that Loco Burrito was one of my favorite places to eat, and that's saying a lot since the area is known to have almost no decent places to eat. Every Tuesday the line is out the door and is almost like a little campus reunion since so many students come for the $1 tacos. The battered fish tacos are my go to! The batter is well flavored and crispy, however, there were a few times when you can tell that the fish was fried and had been sitting for a some time since it was a bit soggy. The pico de gallo and fresh onions, cilantro, and lettuce go so well with the fish. Sometimes when I find enough will to part from the fish tacos, i'll order carnitas tacos since the pork is so moist and delicious! Other than the tacos, i've tried their elote, loco nachos, ceviche tostada, all very delicious as well! As you can tell, I have great difficulty ordering here since I've loved almost everything I've tried. Along with the Taco Tuesday, they have different specials for every day of the week that are definitely worth trying. I'd also like to add that their customer service is amazing! The workers are so helpful and friendly, especially to regulars like me! Although I now live about 45 minutes away, I will probably still make countless visits to this gem!
(4)Lesley S.
When I walked in this place I knew it was going to be amazing. My Mo Valley (and surrounding) Yelpers have been blasting this place. They have great taste (of course). I made one mistake. Wearing white skinny jeans. OYE! Salsa, clumsy blonde, and planning on eating the restaurant out of food? No bueño. I walked in ordered my chimichangas, 3 street tacos (pollo, al pastor, carne asada), 2 sets of flauta meals (one beef, one chicken) and 2 pineapple and a cantaloupe fresca. Every single thing I ordered was amazing. Best part? It was cheap. $5.99 a meal. Crazy talk. I've tried it, but definitely couldn't eat my chimichanga meal or my last taco until I came home. Thank goodness I wasn't driving because my skinny jeans were now fat jeans and about to pop. Al pastor taco was my favorite. Super tasty and reminded me of San Diego It didn't fall apart and make me a hot mess either. Their salsa is absolutely perfect. Salted just right, lots of cilantro, not too runny, not to chunky. The verde and hot salsa were pretty tasty too. I bought a cup of salsa to go for $2.50 and well a third is gone already. :) I'll be back here a few times in the next month.
(5)Peter Z.
Food is awesome here, prices are good, great service. They have a salsa bar,BUT...got to say... salsas are water down where the salsa just runs down your chip or food. Salsa means sauce not water.
(4)Tammy W.
I would recommend only only on days when they have deals, such as taco Tuesday's and $4 burritos on Wednesdays, because if you get anything else it's pretty pricey. The quality of the food is amazing though! I've tried the el pastor, carnita, chicken, and the fish(beer battered or grilled). They're all really good and worth trying! They give you a lot of meat too! 2 tacos fill me up and if I'm really hungry then 3 is good. I've also tried the loco burrito, which is essentially a regular burrito(with your choice of meat) with fries in it!!! It's so good!! If you're having trouble choosing a burrito, the loco burrito is the way to go! They also have a chips and salsa bar. If you dine in, you can go and get unlimited chips and salsa, but if you order togo they give you 1 brown bag to put your chips in. The chips are really good too! However, inside is pretty small. There's probably only about 8 tables inside, but they do have outdoor seating. Overall, I love this place and this is my favorite place to get tacos on taco Tuesday's because what you get for the price(99 cents) is worth it!
(4)Ugo N.
amazing tacos that are filled to the brim and only $1 on Tuesdays! enormous and very great tortas that are only $5 on Thursdays, great selection of aguas frescas, unlimited chips and great salsa and friendly reliable service. I mean, what's not to love? Their taco Tuesday has never disappointed and it's become almost a tradition to come here after class.
(5)Erin L.
Great little place we found on Yelp while traveling from Ontario airport to Palm Desert. Friendly staff greet you for your order. Food was fresh and fast. Homemade Aguas Frescas many flavorers to choose from. Don't let the surroundings or size put you off, well worth the stop for a tasty lunch.
(4)Paul L.
Been going here since they opened it's both my grandsons favorite restaurant, been going here for 4 years and pretty regular, they haven't skipped a beat. Do yourself a favor and treat your taste buds and your wallet to a visit.
(5)Mark M.
Very traditional and authentic baja style Mexican food. No refried beans folks. The street tacos pastor are the best I've had this side of Baja. Seriously amazing. Free chips and salsa. The green salsa is just the best I've had in a long time. Very distinctive and delicious. If you're looking for authentic - give them a try. Also, their prices are really good for what you get. Going back!
(4)Renee G.
Always bomb AF!! And the aqua fresca, amazing! I'd come here everyday if I wouldn't go broke or get fat lol. Music is also on point.

Really good Mexican fast food. Festive atmosphere and friendly staff. The chimichangas were tasty and juicy. The agua frescas were super refreshing. All of the salsas were great at the self serve chip & salsa bar were the bomb. The only negative is that the bathroom door slams REALLY loud every time someone goes in or out. It literally shakes the walls.

That hidden little gem you are always looking for. This is it. Very small but the food is fantastic. The fresh drinks are yummy. The burrito I had was delish as well, had some big pieces of shrimp in it.
(5)D K.
I've eaten here many times already. Even took pictures and am finally yelping! EVERY time I come here my experience has always been superb. Not only is the customer service fantastic but the food speaks for itself. This is definitely a hole in the wall joint. I've had my share of great Mexican food living in LA and going to OC & down south to SD. I LOVE Mexican food! Especially authentic Mexican food. The smell, taste & texture is all in one place at Loco Burrito. Very easy to order menu, (great specials) easy to eat food and great flavors. They also have great horchata and fresh juices. Another thing I would like to point out the cleanliness. There's always someone cleaning, sweeping and mopping. I really appreciate that when I'm dining in. My overall experience was always wonderful & I'll be coming here when I crave Mexican food.
(5)Amparo M.
This place is truly amazing... I had the triple nachos OMG!! Absolutely amazing I will continue to eat here and I will recommend this place to the rest of my friends at work..... I love how you can help yourself to chips and salsa.
(5)Rodry M.
I actually love this place but today they made a mistake I went to pick up 6 tacos and some chicken nachos and one of the tacos had no meat
(4)Abby P.
This place is BOMB!!! It's so delicious we came to eat three times in a row one week.. It's that good!! I always get the cheesy tacos and street corn and their chips and salsa are delicious as well!! Love this place especially since it's very affordable! Thanks yelp for helping me find this place!!
(5)j d.
My hubby and I tried this place today after reading the great reviews. The place was busy and I totally understand why - food was fantastic !
(5)Isaiah J.
Hmm. Not sure why so many people like this place. The Tacos are very average here. I think some people like it because they put this weird flavor on the asada to make it taste "better" but please people these are nothing close to flavors of MX tacos, not the tortillas, meat or any of the expected toppings that come with them.
(2)Jennifer L.
My favorite place for taco Tuesdays, but I also saw that the other days have great deals as well. I like the al pastor tacos the most. Then there's the general carne asada or chicken that are hard to disappoint. The portions always make me full. I could eat just three tacos for the night and be satisfied. Four, if I want to be bloated. There's a booth where you can pack your own sauces and if you ask for a paper bag, you can bring home tortila chips! I love these because 1: they're FREE, and 2: they're amazing! They're baked fresh and reloaded pretty often, making them warm and crunchy. You can also refill your own water, because they tend to get quite busy. However, the last time it went, it was lacking ice so the water was warm. Not too many seats, but there's outdoor seating as well. The cashier is always friendly to me. Wish I could be closer to to the place so I could visit more!

*warning* long review ahead My love for loco burrito is real! Everything that I have tried is amazing. The first thing I ever tried was the carne asada fries. Best carne asada fries I have ever had hands down. They are huge and loaded with delicious, flavorful ingredients that blend awesomely together. I dont buy carne asada fries from anywhere but here now. I have also had their $5 meals. Awesome! I always get the street corn & homemade potato chips as my sides. That corn tho yum iv gotten the street tacos and chimichangas with the deal. Both are delicious! I recommend the beef chimichangas over the chicken ones The burritos here are massive and have a good ratio of protien to rice, beans, &other typical burrito ingredients. Their tacos are delic. Carne asada street tacos are great. Cheesy tacos are, you guessed it, cheesy&delicious. Fried potato tacos are yummy to. The cheesecake is also surprisingly good! They have a chip&salsa bar. Im not the biggest fan of their salsas but their good enough. Iv also had the shrimp cocktail and fish ceviche. The shrimp cocktail is good but not outstanding. The ceviche has good flavor but way to much lemon. It can get crowded but its worth the wait. Service is usually good
(5)Jacqueline D.
Pretty good for the area! (3.5)! +1 unlimited: tortilla chips, salsa bar, pickled carrots and red onions, limes, white onions, ciliantro, cucumbers and some kinda cole slaw thing. +1 TACO TUEEZZZDAY (3pm til closing)! 99 cent tacos! +1 Al pastor was my favorite. Carne asada is excluded from all promotions but its kinda dry anyways.. +1 big street tacos! Two can fill me up because I have a small, but frequent appetite. -0.5 They dont have real hot sauces that actually make me sweaaat. I like hot sauces that burn my taste buds off, but thats probably just me. This place doesnt taco truck back home!! Although its probably a lot more sanitary LOL

This is my food spot in Moreno Valley! If you're not too careful when looking for this place, you'll drive right by it! Loco Burrito isn't too spacious, but the food definitely makes up for that and more. Good tacos, 99¢ tacos on Tuesdays (including fish tacos!). They have fantastic burritos. I recommend the Triple Threat! It has grilled chicken, grilled steak AND shrimp. They have other daily specials after 3pm including $4 burritos on Wednesdays and $5 tortas on Thursdays. I enjoy their tortas! In addition, they have great $5 meals. Loco Burrito has a nice salsa bar, which they brilliantly paired with a large container of tortilla chips. So as you wait for your order, you can munch on chips and salsa! The customer service is quite good. Whenever I eat there, the employees are nice and helpful overall. So yeah, check them out!
(5)Paulina P.
Found this place by chance and I feel like I had a stroke of luck! This place was delicious! I got a carnitas burrito and I was impressed! The servers were nice and the environment was clean and cool.
(4)Cindy S.
Love Loco Burrito! Everything I have tried on the menu is delicious. The cheesy tacos are my favorite! Even their chips and salsa bar are great!
(5)Wendy L.
I love Loco Burrito!! First off, their Street Corn is so good! Roasted Corn with all the fixings make for some bomb elote! And their TACOS are so good. The Al Pastor meat is juicy and flavorful with a little kick. The Carne Asada stands out with it's citrus-y marinade --- tastes better than King Taco, in my opinion. And the Chicken is moist. Their BURRITOS are pretty amazing but also very filling, if you get it with everything (meat, cheese, beens, rice, etc). And, to complete the meal, you MUST order one of their fresh drinks. I recommend their MELON or PIÑA. They also have PIÑA COLADA, HORCHATA, to name a few. Undecided? Try one of their $5 meals. Can't go wrong with that. And they also have fresh chips in their salsa bar. This is a great local, casual eatery in MoVal!
(5)Glenn J.
i highly recommend Loco Burrito. Nice local hangout for good Mexican food with some unique American twists. They have the standard tacos with a nice selection of meats, carnitas, asada, pastor, chicken and fish but with interesting options such as protein style wrapped in lettuce or extra cheesy with a melted cheese shell, In addition to regular tortilla chip nachos, you can also get your nachos on french fries! Another advantage this place has over most of the local Mexican food establishments in town is the extremely friendly and courteous service which explains why students from the local university as well as locals of all ages, race and income level all flock to this place for 99 cent taco Tuesdays. In addition to the great price, they don't cut down on the portions. We'll definitely be back.
(5)Alexis T.
Love this place! Taco tuesdays are the best. $1 dollar tacos. The meat is always on point and the bar of salsas is great. For the 5 de mayo they had a mechanical bull outside and music being played and tacos sold right outside the restaurant. This place is great.
(5)Dustin M.
Disgusting!!, worse Mexican food I ever had! Tacos were horrible, meat was salty. Shrimp tostada was salty, quesadilla dry, chicken taquitos were salty too. Really?? 5 stars?? I guess Moreno Valley have low expectations in Mexican food. Never again! Save your money and go somewhere else! Do not believe the reviews on this place, this is NOT Mexican food. It's meat with a lb. of salt to cover up the bad taste. Only good thing, good customer service.
(1)Rjay J.
Warning!!! This place is prone to overeating there food is way to good and addicting. Customer service is A+ complementing there Authentic Mexican flavor there street tacos provide, and there corn is so bomb, triple threat fries is worth the heartattack,be sure to wash your food down with there Aqua frescos (melon flavor)! Thanks to the lady that took are order and provided a great dinner experience for my family. Definitely will be returning soon and will be talking about how good this place is!!!
(5)G S.
Absolutely love this place!!! Their carne asada is the best in town. Very authentic flavor, everything I've tried so far has been awesome. Great customer service as well.
(5)Alina T.
Al pastor tacos are only 99 cents on Taco Tuesday's! (also a variety of other meats and fish. Excludes carne asada) I definitely recommend it. But if you are doing take out, tell them hot sauce on the side because my tacos were a little soggy. I'm knocking off 1 star because their containers for sauces are really tiny! Other than that, very good tacos and very cheap food if you stick with the specials. When you order for take out, they also give you a small brown bag to put chips in. The chips are crunchy and good, and the salsa is surprisingly good too! Perfect amount of flavor to everything. My boyfriend got 3 carnitas tacos and I got 3 al pastor which came with 2 small brown bags for tortilla chips. The tacos were amazing. They are very generous with the amount of meat they put in the tacos. The total was only 6 bucks plus tax. Awesome prices! And we were very satisfied.
(4)Serrano C.
Tacos were good they only had asada and chicken minus one star for not having lengua, tripas, Ruche,or cabeza!!!!! Another minus one star for having hot sauce that is lemon based\ watered down...
(3)Michelle H.
TACO TUESDAY AT LOCO BURRITO! I love the fish tacos; it is perfectly battered and fried for the amazing price of $1 on Tuesdays. They are known for their al pastor which is a marinated meat that reminds me of bbq. It personally is not my favorite just because it is saucy and savory but I always get the fish tacos and the chicken taco. Also, before indulging in the tacos, loco burrito gives complementary chips to eat with salsa and jalapeños.
(5)Carly A.
So good..yummy..This place is my treat and our regular go to! Best in Town hands down! Everyone Is so nice..
(5)Rene C.
On my way back home from Oceanside and got hungry so was randomly yelping for places close by to eat and found Loco Burrito it was close to the exit & sounded good. All I can say is that I'm so glad I found this spot! A must try if you're near the area! I got the triple threat fries which are not on the menu. It's fries topped with carne asada, grilled chicken, grilled shrimp, Nacho cheese & shredded cheese, guacamole, pico de gallo & jalapeños! It also includes sour cream & beans but I didn't want any. Got it with a large Agua fresca! The aguas fresca are good & they have a wide variety of them. Heads up though there are no refills on the aguas so either drink them moderately or pay another $3 for another! without a doubt the triple threat fries are the best carne asada style fries I've had! Highly recommend them with an Agua fresca to wash it down! They have a great variety of food items to order but you must try these fries they're incredible! Definitely coming back again!
(5)Kim J.
Great service and clean place. Have many deals and combos to choose from. Also have a chip and salsa bar. Finally, they serve different types of fruit drinks.
(4)Iliana G.
Listen to everyone and get the damn al pastor tacos!!!!!! Do it NOW! Oh and the fish tacos too! SO FRESH. Ps... Their fries are too good.
(4)Ashley H.
This is my favorite taco joint, it's not Tuesday without tacos from Loco Burrito. You get what you pay for, and more! I get the same four tacos every week: Baja fish, pollo, carnitas, and pastor. You have the option of Pico de gallo, cilantro, and onions on your taco as well as the unlimited chips and salsa. And best of all, the tacos are only $1 on Tuesday!!!
(5)Danny A.
Triple threat burrito!!!! The only thing I order. The food here has been great! And the service is great too. I don't work around here any more so I can't stop by everyday :/
(5)Kelleah R.
Ordered the carne asada tacos, chicken flautas, and melon drink. The carne asada was a little salty. The chicken flautas were my favorite! The chicken wasn't overcooked or over fried. The flauta had the right amount of crunch and softness. The flautas came with shredded lettuce, cotija cheese, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo. I would definitely order the flautas again. Their menu had quite a few different concoctions of hot dogs and burritos. Next time I will try something new, like the shrimp burritos!
(3)D H.
Good n flavorful options. My fiancé loved his Loco Burrito w carne asada & I enjoyed my flavorful pastor street tacos.
(4)Jessica D.
My FAVORITE FAVORITE place to get Mexican food of all time, even though it's about ten minutes away from me. Their food is always so fresh and flavorful, their service i great, and so are their prices. They have a salsa bar with a wide variety of salsas, pickles, and toppings to choose from. There is also a big self-serve tray of warm, freshly made chips. I honestly love going there just to get their chips because they are that good. The one thing I love from there is their Shrimp Cocktail. You can taste that their shrimp is fresh, and they dice everything so evenly that you aren't getting a huge chunk of one thing and not the other. They also add cucumbers which is a big plus in my book! My brothers love getting their burritos. They die for their burritos. My youngest brother will ask if we can drive out there just to get a carne asada burrito. So definitely give this place a shot if you are near the area! You won't regret it!
(5)Bee G.
'Crazy.. Crazy for feeling so hungry. . .' And so I came here on a dark tuesday night not long ago--catching their 99¢ Tacos especial---my choice except Carne Asada, she reminded. I simply said I wanted the BEST ones and she anxiously blurted out PASTOR PASTOR! So, it was to be the Pastor Tacos and a Chicken Chimichanga to boot! The Chimis come in two golden deepfried halves on a bed of lettuce, guacamole, tomatoes, and sour cream. They're really good, light, crisp, and filling. I use the fixings to dress my free chips into mini nacho thingies (hee hee). The Pastor Tacos were. . . flat out. . . AMAZING! I say the heck with Corny Assada I WANT THIS! Their Taco Tuesday BBQ Pork Tacos rocks the socks off anything else their competetors throw out. These babys are what street taco dreams are made of. They simply LOOK beautiful, and taste like heaven, and I'll be back next tuesday, so get ready. Kick it brothers.. kick it hard! 'I'm crazy for trying.. And crazy for crying.. And I'm crazy for loving you' Pastor!
(5)Maria B.
BOMB!!!!! I haven't had anything that hasn't tasted good or gotten me sick. This is the BEST Mexican (or possibly different background) food in Mo Val! Love their tacos, homemade chips, bomb bomb bomb bomb ass corn, burritos, quesadillas, chimichangas, and aguas frescas. Plus they have a really good chips and salsa bar that seems to be refilled throughout the day. Highly recommend! Just a tip though, if you're in a rush it might not be a good idea to come here. Unless you're lucky enough to get through on the phone and place your order ahead of time. I feel the average wait time is about 20 mins since they're so busy now a days. But damn, they're worth it! Plus I just munch on chips and salsa until my food is ready :)
(5)Sharleesha D.
They are always very friendly here. They serve great food for a great price I love it!
(5)Chiina D.
Their customer service is exceptional! My best friend is a handful and a half but they were so very friendly and welcoming! I ordered 3 triple that burritos but we weren't impressed. It wasn't nasty but we felt they could've been better.
(3)Rudy B.
I wish i could give this place no stars worst place ever . We were the last customers of the night and my brother forgot his phone in the table . We drove off and then 5 miles later realized his phone was missing so we made a quick u turn and when back . We kept asking them if they found a phone and they kept insisting that thier was no phone . Even the onwer was in on this SCAM . So we called the cops and of course it was for of us that were at the location when the cops arrived they didn't believed us . So they spoke to the onwer and they believed him over us .. So a few day later my brother account was still synced to his email so we started receiving pictures that one of the employees that was thier that night took at her house with his phone . So we went back with cops againg and she was forced to give us the phone back .. STAY AWAY FROM HERE THEY STEAL YOUR BELONGINGS
(1)Schahn T.
Great food, super friendly staff. I made the mistake of making my first visit on cinco de mayo, but the quality of food and service were still amazing. Succulent shrimp, juicy beef and pork, and a good variety of fresh salsas ranging from smokey to spicy. Definitely my new number 1 taco shop.
(5)Kasey R.
One word... "WOW" holy humongous portions. I'm completely satisfied, and can barley walk !! Not only was the food great but the girl at the counter was very nice and welcoming also! We will be back Loco burrito. . But with a gurney to carry us out!
(5)Amanda F.
I will give 5 stars when the owner stops being such a tight a** with the chips and salsa. It is worse everytime i go and i go once or twice a month. I usually order take out and before the tiny bags and tiny little itty bitty salsa cups were out for you to take what you please and also little trays for sit ins. If you wants a bigger cup for salsa you had to pay like around 2 dollars. Then he made rhe cashiers hide the bags and only give one to each customer for to go orders, all else stayed the same. Now, the cashier will give you a bag with your designated 3 tiny salsa cups. And the little paper trays are no where to be found for sit in guests. What is this guys problem??? I promise, its the only hespanic restraunt where you dont get chips and salsa unlimited. Its beyond limited here. Other that that bull crudd, the food is good and the cashiers are friendly. I just wish the owner wasnt so obvious with how much of a penny pinching numb nuts he is. Id bet my shoes he pays minimum wage or less.
(3)Stacey Z.
Good, solid Mexican joint. The street tacos, burritos and taco salads are all excellent. The prices are very affordable if you are looking to eat on the cheap. Conveniently located right off the 60 for those of us en route LA to DESERT or vice versa.
(4)Tina G.
Great shrimp tacos & Carne Asada burritos! They always keep us coming back! Nice people too, they're always happy to customize ur order.
(5)C B.
Heading to Palm Springs we were starving at lunch time and saw that it had great Yelp reviews so decided to try it we were not disappointed go for the cheesy tacos and the street corn!!!, not the greatest area so go during the day but great food!!
(5)Jose R.
Great place to eat, been going for a while. Today I was charged for salsa after the first 3 small cups of salsa. I don't understand why they charge for a condiment.
(3)Annie H.
Great for taco tuesday! Place was packed and the line seemed very long but we were able to order right away regardless. Ordering was quick but the food took forever. Tried every taco here. Chorizo is too greasy and salty, but I do recommend the fish tacos. The fish tacos are a great price on tuesdays. They have a salsa bar and chips available. Minus one star for the long wait and the chorizo, but I look forward to coming here again I think this is an excellent option for to go Mexican food and you can't beat their pricing for taco tuesday. Will definitely be back again!
(4)Katie W.
Came here for their burrito WEDNESDAY- $3.99 for a burrito !!! zomg !!!! What a great experience!!! I got the carnitas ( a bit dry but still GOod) and my friend got the Pastor and ZOMG !!!! It's sooooo GOOOD. Friendly service, free bottomless chips, clean, and gr8 DAILY DEALZ!!!!! Love it. Will be back every day. Btw the burritos are not Taco Bell size, they're pretty big =^_^=
(5)Flo M.
I have been coming here for the past few years and previously I would have given 5 stars but as this place has become more and more popular the quality in the food and the customer service has down the toilet!!!!! My last 3 visits have been very disappointing. The first bad experience I had was when my husband ordered his burrito with no beans because he is extremely allergic to beans. He drove all the way home took a bite at the dinner table and had to drive back to get the correct order only to get attitude by the girl at the register. The second time I ordered a Hawaiian torta with no onions only to get it with a ton of onions, when I got my reorder it still has onions in it!!! The last time and the very last time I will go back was when I split my burrito with my mom it had very hot salsa in it. I was ok to eat my half but unfortunately it was too hot for my mother. When asked if they could re do the order to half a burrito for her portion (not an entire burrito) they would not and then was told that we were told that it came with the very hot salsa for which we were never told. I mentioned that to the 12 year old looking very catty girl that worked there and acted as if she owned the place and she once again corrected me and said I was told about the salsa. At that point I had, had enough and asked to speak to the manager because she was basically calling me a liar! She actually had the nerve to tell me off!!! The manager came out and backed up his little girl employee which was probably his daughter and only offered to give my mother 2 tiny little street tacos. They just lost a loyal regular customer. Never again will my family and I ever return.
(1)Josh H.
Great food great service cheesy tacos are the best one of the best mexican places to eat
(5)Monica J.
The cheesy taco is everything!! Taco Tuesday 0.99 cent taco is a good deal and they have great specials! I liked it! Authentic and I like the chips and salsa bar
(5)Jesus M.
Great food. I would recommend the triple thread burrito.(chicken, carene asada, and shrimp)
(5)Jennifer N.
My favorite and go to Mexican restaurant in Riverside/Moreno valley. And come on, who could say no to taco Tuesday's when selected tacos are only $.99! I usually get the al pastor, carne asada, chicken, and beer battered fish taco. Yumm but my top two favorite would be the al pastor and beer battered fish taco OH! And the street corn ^__^ I've tried their carne asada fries and their fried burrito before too. But I thought that the carne asada fries had too much so that made all the fries soggy really fast :/ and didn't enjoy the fried burrito too much either. The workers are very nice too! ^__^ AND COMPLIMENTARY CHIPS AND SALSA!!
(4)Alex G.
Great food, great service, great prices - what else do I need to say?!?! This is one of the few places that has grilled fish tacos besides Rubio's and they are DELICIOUS! Go on Taco Tuesdays after 3pm and get your fish tacos - that's the best deal in town!
(5)Bridget D.
I love this restaurant / taco shop !!! I always receive the best customer service with a smile . The atmosphere is casual and the food is hot and fresh . Every time I come in here it's clean and fully stocked . They give you free chips and have a great salsa bar. I highly recommend this place to anyone that loves authentic Mexican food I've been coming here for the past few months and have brought several of my friends and family and they all rave about the food too .
(5)Paul P.
Loco burrito is the best! Been to other mexican joint but this is the one that hits the spot. You can tell this place is so good its always packed. Good service. Good food.
(4)I F.
Very tasty. This is the place you want to eat if you are looking for authentic Mexican food and aguas.
(5)Justin R.
Loco Burrito is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Moreno Valley. They are great value (check out there $5/6 dollar meals - I think the cost depends on the time of the day) for the quality, taste, and amount of food. All three of the al pastor, carnitas, and carne asada are solid choices. Plus, the salsa bar is top notch and free tortilla chips.
(4)Kayla G.
Great service with a vegetarian friendly menu. The rice is cooked using a tomato base and the beans are lard free. Very glad I stumbled upon this restaurant.
(5)Brian J.
Their chips and salsa are awesome. I had a cheesy taco, it was ridiculous! Also, the chili dog is everything you'd want in a chili dog! The portions are good for the prices. It has a cool vibe inside with two plasma TVs. It's a great place and I'm definitely coming back!
(5)Terry-Janei X.
I was looking for a GOOD mexican restaurant in mo Val on Yelp and found this place. Okay, maybe it's not a restaurant restaurant, but it's the best darn mexican food in mo Val. That's for sure! I'm in love with the carne asada street tacos and street corn. The rice is perfectly seasoned. I've been there twice this week. #fatty #diaryofafoodie
(5)Minzee C.
If I'm craving tacos on Taco Tuesdays, Loco Burrito is my go-to restaurant to eat some. Their tacos are $1each, excluding the carne asada. I'm not a huge fan of Mexican food, but their pastor tacos are really tasty, and the meat is juicy. However, their chicken tacos are somewhat dry and lack flavor compared to some other chicken tacos I've had. I've also had their quesadillas which come with a side of guac and sour cream. Each slice of quesadilla is ginormous and really really cheesy. It's yummy, and you definitely get your money's worth (I was full finishing half of it), but I've never had that urge or craving to go back and have more . My favorite part about Loco Burrito is their salsa and chip bar. You can grab as much free chips as you want with your meal, and they have a variety of different salsas you can choose from. The reason why I'm docking off another star is because of the service. The staff is friendly, and if you're having issues with your order/food they're glad to help, BUT that's just the thing - they seem to be constantly having these issues. I've had problems with my order twice; one time they accidentally forgot about my order, and the other time they gave me the wrong food. They apologized and corrected their mistakes right away, but it's still something to be noted.
(3)Janet S.
Delicious! .... Good prices! Great service! Great food! Will definitely return!!! Everything I tried was amazing!!! ...Also seem to have lots of specials on different food on certain days and times of the week.
(5)Tiffany C.
Two words. Taco. Tuesdays. I always make the drive out here from the West side of Riverside just for their tacos on Taco Tuesdays. However, their promotion for $1 tacos excludes carne asada, which is my favorite type of meat for tacos. I usually get the carnitas (sooo good) and beer-battered fish tacos. I love how they give you more meat in their tacos than other taco places around the area. I've also tried their carne asada fries and elotes (must try). I don't eat spicy things and I liked how the elotes didn't come with chili - but maybe you can ask for it? They also have a salsa bar with FREE chips! You can ask them for a brown to-go bag to take home some chips too.
(4)Wendy M.
So good! Normally my family orders take out from Alberto's on Eucalyptus. But let me tell you the food here is So So So much better here and it's affordable! We will definitely be back!
(5)James L.
Very fast service and very fresh food. A deadly combination. The women at the front was very cute. And the price was as nice as her smile.
(5)Jordan S.
Their taco tuesday are on point! The quality of the tacos I had were really good and I love that you get unlimited chips and salsa at the bar. Really great value for the money. I will definitely be coming back every Tuesday.
(5)Richard P.
Easy to find, inside is small and may be hard to find a table when busy. Tacos are great, chicken and wow the pastor is amazing. Prices are cheap, free salsa and chips, friendly people, and not a chain but a local small business.
(4)Jerry H.
This place is ridiculous. How do you offer a REALLY good lunch for only 5 dollars?!? For those that haven't eaten here yet, hurry up because I sought they will continue to offer the $5 lunch. Or, at least they shouldn't. The carne asada street tacos were fantastic and they used fresh veggies. I really liked their rice and I'm pretty picky about my rice. Get the street corn. I'm not sure if it is healthy for you but some of the best corn on the cob I've ever had. Get there early because it gets really crowded. My only issue was that service was slow. And that was only because the people behind the counters were always busy filling up drinks. Recommendation to owner: move your soda fountain out from behind the counter and make it self serve. That will free up the gals at the register to take more orders which makes you more money.
(5)Dayan K.
I have been here multiple times. You usually don't see it right off the street, but I would call it a hidden gem. The food here is excellent both in terms of price and quality. It is even on par or better than some sit-in mexician restaurants in the area. I would highly recommend this as a go-to mexician restaurant for ones in the nearby area.
(5)Nate H.
Travel through on business and have eaten at this place 3 days in a row. Loser, I know but this place is awesome! Clean, great burritos or tacos. Priced right with $5 specials during lunch. Many choices of sides for your main item. Great, worth the stop off the highway!
(5)Victor S.
I ordered the chicken torta w grilled onions and a lrg guava water. The meat was way over seasoned and the water tasted like syrup w water extra syrup. I couldn't drink it. The staff is great that's why I gave it one star
(1)Alex I.
This place is a hidden gem. I've been here several times and have not been disappointed with the food. I've tried everything from the tacos, nachos, burritos, and it's been very good and tastes freshly prepared. One of the things I like about this place is how friendly they are, from the moment you walk in until you leave which is hard to find, especially in Moreno valley. So if you're looking for some good mexican food, make sure to check this place out and see for your self! Side note: They have recently upgraded their menu and their cash registers so business must be going well.
(5)Mulek M.
Best food hands down The meat is marinated and grilled to perfection Free chips and salsa Great service
(5)Delaynie K.
Do you ever eat something for the first time, and it's magically delicious, and you get angry? I got undeservedly angry after my first Loco Burrito experience, because it took 3 years of living in Riverside to discover this gem. I also had the taco sweats (from copious amounts of salsa and marinated meat), so that may have contributed to my FOMO-fueled food anger. In any case, Loco Burrito does Taco Tuesday right. After some Yelp stalking, I was basically required to order the tacos al pastor, and I also tried the barbacoa (shredded marinated beef, but it sounds better and more exotic as barrrbacoaaa). For both myself and my boo thang, our 8 tacos and a drink came out to a little under ten bucks. Okay, Loco Burrito, you reallll crazy for that one. Everyone's already covered how unbelievably beautiful the pastor is, so i don't need to say more. In short: come here, stuff yourself, get angry for depriving yourself of Loco Burrito for so long.

I love loco burrito. I tried the bacon wrapped shrimp burrito. Omg. That was a great meal. And I love the fresh chips and salsa. This place is so good. The staff is friendly. They also make some bomb tortas. I love going to this place. I get so full after eating here though ;) I just can't resist.
(5)Alyson N.
I love their Nachos! Actually everything I have ordered here has not yet disappointed me!!! That's why I give it 4 stars overall!!!
(4)Luis M.
Dont mind the 45 min drive from Palm Springs to come eat the street tacos or the burrito bowls food is always great and the service is good. Oh and the agua frrscas are the best.
(5)Ana S.
Definitely amazing! I wish I could live next door to it. The food is amazing. Everything tastes so fresh and the portions are very generous, doesn't taste like processed food at all. The prices are also great! And on top of all their greatness, the customer service is the best! Totally worth every penny. Would recommend 100%

Made the best choice ever and stopped by Loco Burrito today. We were welcomed immediately, by all employees, which I appreciate. My boyfriend and I are used to California burritos, so we decided on that. The cashier helped us with the decision, by telling us what exactly was inside the burrito and the size of it - so we chose to share one. While waiting, we munched on the unlimited tortilla chips and delicious salsas from the salsa bar. It only took the order about 3-5 minutes to get to our table, and the woman offered us an extra plate since we were sharing, which we thankfully accepted. Honestly, we probably devoured the burrito in a shorter amount of time than we waited for it. And not because it was small either, because it was more than enough; but it was AMAZING! Seriously the best California burrito both of us have ever tried. It had e v e r y t h i n g in there - carne asada, rice, beans, fries, guacamole, sour cream, and salsa. I'm telling you, amazing. Now I can't speak for other Mexican restaurants/spots here in MoVal, because I haven't been, but I'm pretty sure this place has got to be the best in town for Mexican food. The place was clean, employees were friendly, and food was bomb (and inexpensive). We will most definitely be back! :)
(5)Lynne P.
We love this place! The burritos are huge! and so delicious! Yes they are a little pricey but it's because they stuff their burritos with lots of goodies! yum!
(5)Brent B.
Awesome every time!! If your looking for heat, then I would recommend the "Fire house Taco". The heat will creep up on you, and when it does have your drink handy :) Everything else on the menu is extremely good. Carne asada has great taste, as well as their chicken, pastor, carnitas, etc. Hands down, one of Moreno Valleys rare Gems. Staff is always very attentive and restaurant is clean.
(5)Coral U.
I absolutely love this place. I just wish it was 24/7. I go just about every other day. The people that work there are friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this place to all my family and friends as I already do. Thank you Loco Burrito. You're AMAZING
(5)Shannon K.
Always my favorite stop for tacos. The food is great and the price is great. The only thing I have not been a fan of is they put some type of nacho cheese in there quesadillas.
(5)Amy R.
Tios Tacos, or Loco Burrito?? LOCO BURRITO! I'm really picky when it comes to food, and this place is awesome. I love their carne asada, its authentic and delicious. The staff is VERY friendly, fast, and helpful. Everything was very clean, even the restrooms. Prices are a little high, however most mexican places are but this one is actually worth it! I appreciate the quality of the staff the most. They were great.
(5)Mrs. D.
The cheesy taco was bomb. The Carne Asada is very well seasoned. Been here 3 times now and I haven't been disappointed. They have L.A. hotdogs, mexican corn and so much more.
(5)Moniece C.
FINALLY! I've lived in Moreno Valley for 2+ years and I've looked for a GREAT burrito spot. After numerous disappointments, I finally found a place here! Loco Burrito is the BIZZ! I got a couple OF Carne Asada burritos for me and my guy and a couple fish tacos. Everything was BOMB!!! The food was FRESH and HOT! Carne Asada was moist and flavorful. Beans and Rice were good. The tacos were Amazing!!! Salsa Bar with chips soooo good. My Piña drink was good! The staff are very friendly as well. I will definitely be back! I now can enjoy a burrito close to home instead of going to L.A. My tummy is happy! :)
(5)Soo L.
Amazing taco ever!! You should come when you are really hungry. I was coming back to LA from Palm springs and on the way to go back home you must stop by here and have dinner or lunch instead of In&out or Mcdonalds!
(5)Vell H.
I'm so disappointed! My family and I have been coming to Loco Burrito for quite some time, but no more!! I hadn't visited in a few months because the last time I got a meal from there it appeared the quality of the meat (I believe it was the carne asada) had diminished. I was willing to let that ride but now I'm pissed so I'm bringing it up. Anyway we went back this evening, ordered our food to go and was given the paper bag for the chips with 3 of the really small salsa cups inside of it. I went to the counter and asked for 2 (did I say 2?!!!!) more salsa cups and this is where things went downhill real fast! The girl behind the counter asked me did my bag have cups in it, I told her it did (which she damn well knew it did because they're one ones packing them!) but I wanted 2 more because 3 were not enough for a family of four. As she's handing me the cups she begins to explain that they only hand out one bag for every $10 spent, so I tell her considering I spent over $20 I'm short one bag. She then says, "Oh you only got one bag, do you want another one?" NO!! I want the two cups I asked for, DAMN!!! That is horrible customer service!! I didn't need the "lesson" on how they handle giving out one cent salsa cups!! What she should have done was just give me the 2 cups and let it ride because the customers who choose to dine in have unlimited access to the salsa and chips, even if they spend only $3, which is ridiculous, by the way. So yeah, I Am Over Loco Burrito!!
(2)Barry H.
This place get 5 stars because the food is GREAT! I have been other places and let tell you! Whew! MV finally has great taco place! Check out their hotdogs! Yes, I said Hotdogs!
(5)Megan L.
First impressions are everything and this place nailed it. As soon as we walked in we noticed how clean it was, I enjoy the walk up counter style of ordering giving you more of an option for take out. The chips and salsa are buffet style(seriously amazing salsa) also loving this cause I hate running out and waiting on someone to bring me more. I love the take as much as you want attitude. The food was so good and very fast service. The portions were too big for me but they always are, as we left the cook came out to make sure everything was good and the staff were all very friendly. If we are ever back in the area we will defiantly be heading to loco burrito for some food!
(5)Michael S.
This was the first place I tried when I moved up here from San Diego and it was amazing. Love their burritos and the salsa was very good. Definitely gonna keep going
(5)Renee M.
So yummy! A hole in the wall, very popular place! Prices are good and service is fast. Horchata is amazing! Do yourself a favor and try the fire house tacos. I'm not big on street tacos but these are awesome! Fried cheese, jalapeños, and carne asada. Delicious!
(5)Johnson T.
This is the best Mexican food I've ever had. The $4 burrito deal on Wednesday is a freaken steal and the free chips on the side is great too. The lines are are never too long and the waiter the food would last only 10-15 minutes. I would highly recommend this to any Mexican food lovers!
(5)Arcie M.
This little place is the bomb.com ! Only missing a star since they could offer more meat choices....like tripas, lengua and cabeza. The barbacoa tacos and nachos with meat were delicious! We live in Redlands and this place is worth the drive.
(4)Lacey D.
Really good food, in my opinion better than Alberto's. You get so much for such a good price, along with good customer service.
(5)Juliet M.
I was seriously craving Mexican food and so I took to Yelp to check out reviews on some spots around this area and this one seemed to be quite popular so I decided to try it out. Based on several recommendations, I tried the pastor tacos and they were amazing! However, the rest of the things I tried were not that great. The carne asada fries and chimichangas were so soggy I threw them out after a few bites. I also wanted to try out the burritos, but I'm not willing to take a chance. I'll just stick with Chipotle which never disappoints and just come here for the el pastor tacos. Just a side note for those who've never been here, their daily specials..taco Tuesday, burrito Wednesday, etc start at 3pm. FYI
(2)Brenda G.
This is my second time coming to loco burrito and I am not disappointed! 1. Free salsa and chips 2. Good quality tacos 3. Really fast service 4. cozy and comfortable to enjoy a lunch or dinner with family and friends. 5. Restroom is clean! (Thumbs up for that) The times I've came here I have always ordered barbacoa tacos (BBQ meat) and fish tacos. The barbacoa meat is soo tender and juicy that every time is bite into my taco it drips out the other side hmmm :) The fish tacos are great! Never had better! Soooo crunchy on the outside and steaming hot and moist on the inside. The horchata is delicious here (try it you will not be disappointed) Only good thoughts about this local jewel in Moreno Valley
(5)Marlo C.
I stumbled upon Loco Burrito on Yelp and decided to try it. After the first time tasting the food I was already hooked. The ingredients taste fresh and are filled with authentic flavor. I have become a regular here and have enjoyed everything I've ordered from the menu so far. Free chips and salsa are a plus too!
(5)Adam P.
Ate here for the first time after reading several great reviews. I was not disappointed at all. The food was great and reasonably priced. I had the pollo burrito and it was very good. The portions are huge enough for a 2nd meal. I will be eating here more often in the future.
(5)Fiona F.
I feel like I'm in Mexico. The chips are bomb. The food is fresh. If the only they had margaritas
(5)Ligia S.
New fave authentic Mexican food place! Self serve chips & dip bar is awesome. I got the breakfast burrito & I loved it. My husband was equally impressed & he's the pickiest eater I know.
(5)Christian M.
This place has me come back for more and more and more!!! I cannot get enough of their loco burrito! I now have been trying new things like double the fries in the burrito (excellent idea) and now I even order 2 when I go. I eat as much as I can while I am there and take the left overs as well as one whole one to go. From the first time I came to the numerous times I have been now, the customer service is still on point! Always with a smile if you need something altered or they made a mistake, they will fix it-no questions asked. I have also noticed that it has become really busy and always has a constant flow of customers, showing that they must have other meals that please society.
(5)Sheila M.
YESSSS! This place is a hidden gem. Of course, I came because of the already great reviews. So after my last client of the day, I drove my pretty little butt here. It's a very small place and though some of the furniture is run-down, it's very clean. All the staff was very nice and helpful. Ended every question with a smile which is always great! And I just HAD to try the tacos here! [I think] They only have 5 types: Carne Asada, Chicken, Al Pastor, Carnitas and BBQ Beef? I'm not quite sure about the last one, but anyway. I tried the first 3 listed. Chicken Taco - Amazeballs. Charred just enough and very savory. Al Pastor - Great but not better than Tortas Sinaloa Carne Asada- A MUST TRY FOR YOU! This is my new champion for THE BEST ASADA TACO I have eaten in years. You know you have good food when you lie to people about the type of food you have just so that you don't have to share! (Sorry sister!) Oh, I also tried the Pineapple Upside Down cake as well and it was just ok. Too sweet for my taste. I will most definitely be stopping by again!
(5)Dalyce G.
I had the fish tacos and was not impressed. The rice, chips and salsa were delicious however. I tried some of my fiancés crane asada and it was very flavorful, next time I'll be trying that. All I know is there will be a next time.
(3)Gladys D.
This restaurant is awesome!!! I go at least once a week and everything is delicious. I especially love the green enchiladas, el pastor tacos, street corn, bacon wrapped shrimp, cheesy tacos, and sopes. And for when I want healthy they have yummy low carb tacos and salads. Service is great, owners are very friendly. They have a huge menu, great variety. Portions are large, burritos are huge!!! They have the best horchata I've ever had. Best Mexican food in the IE. Highly recommend this place!!!
(5)Qiana M.
Consistently great food..triple threat fries..triple threat nachos are to die for..Burritos..tacos..flautas..everything we have tried my husband and I have been delicious..very reasonable and staff very nice....we've been twice this week...I love that the meat is lean..tender and well seasoned....you will not be disappointed
(5)Bassel T.
Best burrito I have ever had in my life. El jefe burrito with pastor and barbacoa, meat only. Also amazing customer service.
(5)Adam B.
This place has great Mexican food. I drive from Riverside to Loco Burrito about once every two weeks for lunch. This is the second best place to eat in Mo Val. I am a regular and recommend you become one. The burritos are very large and delicious. Pick any of the ingredients from asada, chicken, carnitas, or my favorite barbacoa. Most of my friends like the asada. The street tacos are just as good. Try them. HOT DOGS!!! Try them. I know it's a Mexican restaurant but they make them and they are awesome! I have had the LA Dog several times, and I am not kidding, it's the best hot dog I have ever had. Bacon wrapped beef dog with grilled onions. I am completely serious people. ORDER IT! Chips and salsa bar is one of the best. Red hot, hot sauce is very hot and delicious. I put it on everything. Green sauce is my only food disappointment. BTW the chips and salsa bar is all free. They lose a star for the cramped dining room and awkward ordering station, but they do have out door seating. But it sucks in the summer. Enjoy people!
(4)Nancy G.
This is not your ordinary taco shop. Loco Burrito is the pride of this community. The owner is always smiling and making sure you are happy with your meal. Thank you for adding your establishment to our city!
(5)Merfy ?.
My favorite Mexican place. * Complimentary unlimited tortilla chips and salsa * Meat is super tender and tasty * The cheese-coated corn is AMAZING * Very reasonable prices and daily specials * Fast service
(5)Steve K.
They have everything I want and need in a great Mexican restaurant: salsa bar and complimentary tortilla chips were on point, the tortilla was made-in-store, the burritos were hefty, and they have great daily specials. The $5 meal deals are amazing, filling, and affordable. I am constantly on the hunt for the best burrito, and Loco Burrito is tied with Los Jilberto's for the best in the Riverside/Mo Val area. Can't wait to come back!
(5)Harris C.
The service here is great. The lady was so helpful. Thank you Loco Burrito!
(4)Angie P.
I've been here about 10+ more times and yummmm! I can't get enough of this place! I would definitely recommend their nachos and burritos!!! My favorite as of now.
(5)Jack C.
I try to come out here about once or twice month. Good food and great service.
(5)Roman B.
The service here was on the iffy side. It wasn't good nor bad, kinda in the middle type of thing. I do like the fact that they have $5 dollar deals. If you could spare $5 bucks and some pocket change, I say give one of the deals a shot. That being said, I tried placing my order, but the cashier kept talking with one of the cooks in the back. Which, I found that kinda rude because I would be half way in my order and she would continue to talk to them. HOW RUDE!! *Stephanie Tanner voice* Chip & Salsa bar: Really can't go wrong in this department......or can they? My advice would be if the chips were sitting out to long, I would replace them every so often. I got some chips and they were extremely salty, I thought I was going to need some chapstick later (haha), BUT...BUT!! they did bring in fresh ones shortly after and they were PERFECT!! All the salsa's were bomb.com level. I got the Loco Burrito (The one with french fries). They didn't give that much meat or fries inside this burrito. It was mainly filled up with rice. Don't get me wrong the rice was great, but it was just way too much and thats why it lacks the meat department. I will give this another shot when I'm visiting Moreno Valley again.
(3)Darren T.
Clean! (Okay, sometimes that's not what people want to hear from a Mexican place).... Good food! Cheap! I'm definitely frequenting this place. The employees are very nice, the food is good and cheap... there are specials on almost every weekday and there are $5 deals everyday of the week! They have a chip and salsa bar... chips are freshly fried at the restaurant and are very good. The salsas are very good too! So far it's probably my favorite place in Moreno Valley.
(4)Jeanna S.
My absolute favorite go to place for my Mexican food fix! The street tacos and burritos are my fav, but everything I have seen there looks delicious! Then while you wait for your food, their chips & salsa bar is amazing. Fresh tortilla chips and salsa! The employees there are also nice and personable, never had any issues with their service. I've been there at all times of the day and its never dead. If you haven't gone yet, you must try this place!!!
(5)Richard R.
Just tried this place for the first time, DELICIOUS!!!! I ordered 3 meals and 2 extra sides and it was $20. I ordered chimichangas with black beans and Mexican rice, hard shell tacos with the same sides, street tacos with French fries and two sides of street corn. The rice was flavorful and moist, the beans were well seasoned, the chimichangas were crispy and full of meat, the tacos were all stuff with meat and toppings, the street corn was small but full of flavor. I think we just found a new place to continue dining at.
(5)Michelle F.
I been To this place several times and I will keep coming back. Love the tacos and the corn, my son loves the fresh potato chips. Very authentic food.
(4)Kathy H.
The food was great. Portions were huge. Had enough of my nachos for dinner. Feed all 6 of us for about $30. And had left over. Loved the side bar of chips, salsa and more. We will be going here again. If you are in the area make this place a stop on your way,
(4)Laura C.
Passing by Yelped.... amazing Carnitas Loco Fries easy on pico de gallo and jalapeños .... they prepared to the tee and man o man delicious. I ordered a medium and that was mprw than plenty. Great prices too! Had horchata for drink freshly made I will return on weekends.... loved the place
(4)Jeanette M.
Even though it was crowded they got the orders done pretty fast! Their chips and salsa bar was really good too! Favorite place so far for taco tuesdays!
(4)Alex A.
Been looking for a spot to eat some great tacos must say LOCO BURRITO has some great tacos my first time here i she'll be back to try other types of food they have... I had the street tacos an cheesy tacos.... Chessy tacos are they way to go
(4)Shahida H.
The food is great, the presentation of the food was okay but the service was excellent! They treat everyone really nice. I would definitely go again.
(4)Danny Q.
Amazing all around! All you eat chips and salsa. Tasted their ceviche tostada it was amazing, fresh and stacked. Ofcourse had to taste the street corn and it delivered! Can't wait to come back! Awesome service, awesome salsa bar.
(5)Sheena W.
First let me start by saying I have probably been to EVERY Mexican restaurant in Moreno Valley ( I love Mexican food..). Now to me there are either really good or just ok... I can count the "really good" ones on one hand and Loco Burrito is REALLY GOOD... I first started going there about a year ago but since I moved I dont get to go as often as I like ANNNNDDDD this past time was my first time going on TACO TUESDAY!!!!! You would think since you are only paying $.99 per taco that they would skimp on the meat.... OOOOOHHHH NO you damn near get EXTRA meat.. I have had the asada, chicken and fish tacos which are all great but my favorite item they have is the " cheesey tacos" which are basically street tacos but they grill the cheese on the tortilla... mmmmm mmmm. The fish tacos are also really filling and the Med. nachos are actually a large... the large is like an extra large... Great customer service every time I go!!!! This place is a MUST try , I promise you once you go once you will be coming back!!!
(5)Belinda L.
First time here and I don't regret it prices are reasonable and they serve big portions first I thought it wasn't going to be good since we were the only ones here then suddenly the restaurant got full and people were even sitting on the outside tables chips and salsa were the bomb I will be coming here more often
(5)Pancho V.
Nice menu variety, a salsa bar with various salsa's that are pretty damn good! 120+ reviews with a 4.5 star average.... although the service a friendly and food came quick they just fell a bit short for me! Sope de Carne Asada - yelp.com/biz_photos/loco… House made sopes, two thumbs up, well...... maybe not so much! the sope was topped with refritos, carne asada, shredded lettuce, cotija cheese and avocado... I must say the meat was lean and flavorful, near perfection yelp.com/biz_photos/loco… Where this fell short was the Sope itself as it was not cooked all the way through yelp.com/biz_photos/loco… much of the sope raw masa leaving the sope inedible. (minus 2 stars) 2.5-Stars Tacos de Al Pastor - yelp.com/biz_photos/loco… Nicely marinated and very flavorful piggy with little pieces of caramelized onion yelp.com/biz_photos/loco… this should be an easy 4.5-star taco BUT..... the tortillas were hard. 3-Stars Tacos de Carnitas y Carne Asada - yelp.com/biz_photos/loco… Carnitas - yelp.com/biz_photos/loco… moist juicy and very flavorful, BUT again hard tortillas. 3-Stars Carne Asada - yelp.com/biz_photos/loco… Lean and flavorful meat but these tortillas gotta go! 3-Stars Pescado - yelp.com/biz_photos/loco… Nicely battered and fried, nice crisp crunch to the outside and a nice large pice of white fish yelp.com/biz_photos/loco… topped with shredded cabbage, crema and tomato's. This is a Beautiful Fish Taco! EXCEPT for the tortillas. 3-Stars I don't know maybe they were a bit old, warmed a bit too long although there were not burned, not sure? just hard and should not have been served! I would go back when in the area to give them another shot sense they do have so many good reviews!
(3)Nicol M.
I am a very picky eater, especially with meat. But this place is amazing. Went here for the first time and have already been there twice in 3 days I've had tacos and chimichangas my husband is obsessed with the triple threat fries. Must try!!
(5)Sheron Z.
All their food is delicious. The customer service is great. Very friendly. It's always clean when we go - even the outside tables. Where we usually sit to enjoy the fresh air. You won't be disappointed.
(5)Anthony M.
Just can't seem to go anyplace else... They just have the Bomb food. What can I say? Oh I already did, Loco food is Da BomB :D
(4)Jennifer R.
First time here. Very pleased with everything we tried. Very friendly, great salsa bar!
(5)Summers T.
Been coming here for a year now and still have yet to be disappointed. First place I ate at when we moved here from the east coast. I had never heard of street corn, the guy suggested it and I can't imagine life before it now. Lol love their corn. Taco salad is wonderful. The chip and salsa bar is always stocked and fresh. My kiddo loves their kids meals because they always give a small piece of cake with a cheery on top. Basically it's super cheap and very yummy food! Definitely a MoVal landmark.
(5)Rick V.
Awesome and fresh food. Service was friendly and I was able to customize my tacos :) :) :)
(4)John V.
I've been here a dozen or so times since they opened and it's progressively gotten worse. Originally, if you ordered a burrito, it came with nothing but meat and some basic things inside, no filler though. Roughly 4 months ago, they began to decrease the amount of meat inside and swap it with beans and rice. Although it was disappointing, it wasn't that much, nothing to complain about. After another month or so, it became a half and half kind of thing, where half of what used to be purely meat became beans and rice. Again, not so terrible, but the problem is that it severely changed the flavor of the food. Still good, just not purely great. Their taco Tuesdays tend to be good, but I realized that I could walk down the street on Bay Ave. and go to the neighbors house there when they did their late night taco selling and get a much better taco with more meat for a quarter less each, all cooked in front of me. Still a good place, but not as good as it once was.
(4)Jessica S.
There is nothing not good about this place. The owner is really nice and so is the staff. Salsa and chip bar is really good. The food is by far the best for anyone looking for different alternatives to Mexican food.
(5)Carolyn R.
Great customer service, and the best al pastor I've had anywhere in Moreno Valley. If it were closer, my waistline would be in serious trouble. Also, very reasonable prices and a large menu selection.
(5)Karen S.
First time here. Food is delicious! !! Tacos have so much flavor without having to over fill them with onion and cilantro. & the horchata. ... I hate when its fake just add water but this is authentic. Yum! Definitely will be coming here on lunch more often
(5)Anthony C.
I am a vegetarian, and the potato tacos are very tasty :)
(5)Ricardo R.
Awesome tacos, good beans, ok rice. Free Salsa and chips make up for the rice. All in all great spot!
(4)Jessica L.
Food is really good. Their nachos are the best! And they are not greedy with the toppings. I've gotten the chicken sope really good also and BIG! And the quesadillas are big and have lots of gooey cheese. The horchata and Jamaica are the best I've had in Moreno Valley thus far. I'm only giving them 4 stars for their food. It would've been 5, but the girls that take the orders are not the brightest. Have gotten my order wrong twice!
(4)John D.
LA Dog; Greatest hot dog I've had in my life so far. And this is coming from a Mexican restaurant! Service was kind and courteous. A little busy at times, but they make it with love and you can taste it. Definitely going back to try new things. And the reviews weren't wrong.
(5)Nate C.
I just can't seem to get enough of the$.75 fish tacos on Tuesdays or the triple threat burrito. Fast and friendly service and great food.
(5)Jessica H.
Always the best food when my husband and I go. I got a regular quesadilla, a chicken and beef flauta with two sides, and my husband got two fish tacos and two al pastor tacos, plus one beef taco. We each got a drink as well. Plus you get the standard chips and salsa bar while you wait. We didn't even spend 28 bucks on all this delicious goodness and it will be two meals for both of us. No way can we eat all that food, because they sure do not skimp on the amount they give you. And again not even 30 bucks?! Where can you go now and eat like that for so cheap?! And so much flavor? All your favorite Mexican favorites, made with care for such reasonable prices. They get my vote! And I must add that my husband is not a mexican food fan, so for him to like it is pretty amazing. :)
(5)Jessica L.
Thought this place was pretty good until I got back to work from lunch and started feeling sick. I ended up throwing up my whole lunch meal from here. Ugh! Never again. They need a health inspection.
(1)C M.
Nice people, clean & the "triple threat" bowl was awesome! Shrimp, carne asada & chicken.....yum!
(5)Megan G.
Oh Loco Burrito.... why did take me so long to find you! Two visits in a week and I haven't been disappointed. Grilled chicken hard shell tacos were a hit with my 11 year old.... who is very picky with her tacos. My 6 year old loves the bean and cheese burritos, whole beans btw. The pastor tacos are some of the best... favorful and not dry. The beef chimi was good... quite a bit of meat, think I will try the chicken next time. The first time we went the carne asada was a bit dry... maybe because it was almost closing. Next trip was before noon and the asada was excellent. Can't wait to go back!
(4)Alex P.
I had the shrimp bowl, it was aight.. The LA Dog was aight.. Homegirl got the loco burrito, she devoured it.
(5)Diana W.
Literally- the. Best. Mexican. Food. Ever. I come here at least once a week for their carnitas burrito bowl. Their meat is always just the right amount of juicy and flavorful. They also have an unlimited salsa bar with amazing fresh salsa. Must try!
(5)Alonzo O.
Stopped by after reading reviews on yelp. Good hole in the wall type place. Nachos are very good. Very affordable. Will go again when in the area.
(4)Miss C.
Meh. It was alright. I don't know why this place has such rave reviews... perhaps because it is in Mo Valley... where this might be the best food they have to offer. Make the trek down to Temecula... or better yet, San Diego where the Mexican food is bomb. Chicken burrito. Too salty. Too much meat. Nothing too spectacular. But, the tortilla was good. And that's all. The end.
(2)Anthony A.
I was passing through Moreno Valley and decided to grab some lunch, so of course I busted out my trusty YELP app and found Loco Burrito. With over 200 reviews and a four and a half star rating, I said to myself I'm in luck! Once I arrived I noticed quite quickly the place was full of customers and I could smell the food as soon as I opened the door. I ordered the $5 Baja toco plate and an extra carne asada taco. I must say the food is decent, but I am actually very surprised the place has such a high rating. I am guessing there are not many options in MoVal for Mexican food. Aside from the food the place was clean, and the service was not bad. In my personal opinion it deserves a solid three stars, I can honestly say I may give it another try one day.
(3)Katie T.
This place is pretty good. Loco Burrito has some pretty good food. HOWEVER, I read reviews that their fish tacos were super good and I got excited to try them out. It was my first time there and I have to admit, the fish tacos are not good at all. The reason I say that is it has no flavor to it. The only flavor I got was when I added hot sauce to it. The fish was alright, the deep fried batter was super crunchy and felt that I was eating more of the batter than the actual fish. My boyfriend had the carnitas burrito and I enjoyed that more than my tacos. We spent $18 or so for an al poastor burrito, carnitas burrito, and 2 fish tacos with french fries. We then went back and bought a Horchata too!! It was so good!! If you come here, save your money and don't get the fish tacos, and definitely get the Horchata! It's worth your money!

Delicious! Everyone should have Cheesy Tacos once in their life! We have even sent a co-worker to pick up lunch from Redlands before. So good! Their flautas are a good size, and so tasty. Guacamole as good as my homemade :-) and their fresh salsa is my favorite. Triple Threat burrito is good for two meals for me. Friendly staff is the icing on the cake! We go here at least once a month. A definite favorite spot!

I went here yesterday ,because my son said they had good reviews. When I entered the place. This young lady that keeps the tables and counters clean greeted us. Our cashier was nice also . They give you a brown bag to get free chips and salsa nice! The young lady that keeps the tables clean asked if we needed anything while we were waiting for our food . I said no were fine thank you. Our food that was to go was brought to us at our table . Excellent service from the young ladies . It just took forever for us to get our food though .(Cheese enchiladas.)Good customer service is a very big deal for me. I will be returning with the rest of my family ..

I come here regularly but keep forgetting to review them on yelp. Soooooo. They have good tacos but what stands out is 1. There chicken tacos are well seasoned (that's usually a problem when it comes to street tacos with chicken) 2. What sets them from the rest is CHEESY TACOS. If its your first time there or you've been going and didn't know. Please try that and it doesn't matter which meat you put. 3. The triple threat burrito! 4. The triple threat fries. Now fyi I did make this up myself so its not on the menu but they just add $2 more to the carne asada fries. My family of 4 ate off of this. Oh boy!

First time going there and I ordered the carne asada loco burrito. One thing I noticed about the burrito was way too much oil was used on the burrito which I didn't like. Their red salsa had some kick to it which I liked but the garlic over powered the salsa taste. I can honestly say I've had a better burrito from the surrounding locations on that street that I would recommend.

This is my third time in a week coming here. Still good food, good service. Not too many places stay consistent with the quality of the food or service but so far so good. I would consider this a hidden gem.

We are now regulars here. Even my parents became regulars after I told them about this place. This joint lives up to its name... The carne asada burrito is crazy-good. I come here once a week for their Wednesday $3.99 burrito special after 3pm, and they don't skimp on either quality or quantity! It is BEEFY enough for you carnewhores out there. The carne asada here is EXTREMELY SEASONED, but not salty. There is a difference! It has that hard-core south of the border flavor (the real deal). If you're into California (gringo-style) burritos, this is NOT your place. yelp.com/biz_photos/loco… They also have specials for tortas ($3.99) on Thursday. Not bad! yelp.com/biz_photos/loco… The LA Dog is good (love the sauteed bell peppers & onions!) and it is somewhat similar to the ones that the street vendors would sell to me outside of the Staples Center (back when I used to live in L.A.) Homemade potato chips - had to try them at least once because it's not like you find these everywhere! Their Al Pastor burrito is pretty good too! It already comes hot & spicy and the pork is nicely seasoned. Don't leave without grabbing some free chips and salsa... MUST TRY: CARNE ASADA BURRITO & tacos Al Pastor burrito & tacos Daily specials after 3pm: Monday - shrimp cocktail $5 Tuesday - tacos 99 cents************** Wednesday - burrito $3.99************* Thursday - Torta $3.99 *****************

This place is so good. We have made this our Taco Tuesday spot. The abundance of fresh food, no soggy nachos, different salsa makes this the place to go.

Good price, food and salad bar. Just no drive thru. But other than that good hole on the wall.

Tastes great, very creative burritos. Not so great if you overeat like a beast. Fun atmosphere too!

BEST Mexican food in Moreno Valley!!! The food is fantastic and you will not be disappointed! The Baja grilled fish taco is amazing and the rice, beans, chips and salsa are delicious!!! A definite must try!!!

The other reviews you see have it correct; this place is the burrito bomb!! But don't stop there. Their menu is full of goodness. The colorful deep red exterior on a small modest building might not say much, but it does get your attention. Park on the side and walk through the outside covered patio and you'll be wondering, "ok, let's see if these other Yelper's know what their talking about." Open the door and there is booth seating on both sides of you with the counter straight ahead. A big flat screen TV is to the far left on the wall. The greeting is very friendly at the counter where you place your order. "For here or to go?" The menu is overhead with a very nice selection. I'm searching and searching. Ahh, there it is. I want to try this burrito I've been reading about. Let me have the steak. Oh, it comes with lots of goodies inside? OK, give it to me like that. Hey, I notice the familiar red sticker on the cash register. And it says something like "People Love us on Yelp" . I can't remember exactly, but you know the one. That's a good sign, right? So, the place is nice and clean and has a comfortable feel to it. I came late one night and mid afternoon on another, so I can't speak to the peak hours, but my order was made nice and quick with almost no wait. The chips and salsa bar has some very tasty choices. For the to go order, they have small paper bags that you can fill with chips to take with you. If you are eating in, there are bowls for you to use. The salsa selection is great. Oh, the burrito? One of the best I have ever had. Very very good. I don't get up that way often, but this is now a must stop, on the way to anywhere.

Amazing food and great service.

I'm not too LOCO about their burritos, but I sure do love their tacos and stuff. I go here every once in a while, I don't like getting too attached but it's hard to stay away .

I can't get enough of this place. The tacos are delicious!!

This place is YUCKY!!! not sure why its rated so high I had carne asada tacos the meat was hard, chewy, and flavor less avoid this ghetto place

Holy fundip this place is excellent. I used to think there was no God, and then I tried Loco Burrito. Before I ate at Loco Burrito I couldn't walk. After trying their cheesy tacos I regained the muscle in my legs and I was immediately cured of my handicap. This place is legs down the best Mexican restaurant in MoVal. 6/5

Wonderful place. Friendly owner, great food, great price. This is the first place I've eaten t here and I am a regular 9 months later. It looks like a hole in the wall, and some of my military buddies were not wanting to try it. They are regulars too now!

Been here a bunch of times. Tried their tacos, burritos and horchata. Everything is really good. Love the Salsa bar, has all condiments needed for a great experience! The service is fast and the employees are nice and helpful. It can get busy during Taco Tuesday, but that's expected. The fish and al pastor tacos are very good! That's what I order every time. I've also tried the Carne Asada burrito which is okay. Been to plenty of Mexican restaurants in and around the Riverside area and this is definitely a good one!

My lovely significant other and fellow Yelper was dying to check this place out. Her Yelp Fu is strong. Based on the ratings and reviews we read, our expectations were really high. Finding ourselves in Moreno Valley again, we jumped at the opportunity to check this place out. To my surprise the parking lot was empty and only one other patron sat inside. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the cashier and another women cleaning tables. After a quick scan of the menu, I decided to play it safe and order the standard - a bean and cheese burrito. I judge all taco shops on the same criteria: Beans, salsa, and tortillas. In that order. What I got was a very small loosely wrapped floppy burrito of soupy beans heavily seasoned with chili powder and melted cheddar cheese. Ugh. I was not a happy camper. The beans weren't terrible but they weren't good either. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind chili beans but that's not what I was expecting. Luckily, the salsa bar wasn't too bad and I made good use of the all-you-can-eat chips. The salsa was spicy and flavorful, however, I did find them to be a little too salty. With a little less salt, this salsa would have been perfect. My lady ordered the chicken burrito bowl. She loved the freshness but overall wasn't too impressed with the flavor. We both agreed that we should stick to ordering tacos if ever come here again. Hmm...Should I give Loco Burrito a second chance?

This has become my favorite Mexican food place! Their meats and vegetables are the freshest. Their jefe burrito is a must try! The asada tacos are amazing. The salsa bar is always stocked and everything is fresh!
(5)Sal N.
Great food! Great price! It's hard to find good simple Mexican food in Moreno Valley. This is the place!
(5)Steffie D.
I love their shrimp tacos. Their shrimp tacos bring back memories of shrimp tacos I had on my past recent trip to Cabo. Don't forget to enjoy their freshly made tortilla chips at the salsa bar for free! Their tortilla chips are pretty damn good! Definitely my favorite Mexican food spot in MoVal.
(5)Hillary P.
Sooooo good!! Every time I come here I'm never disappointed. This time I had the 2 for 1 ceviche. Fish and crab, amazing. Also tried the chicken bowl and dare I say... *whispers* better than chipotle.

I had a really hard time moving to Moreno Valley from Long Beach; one of the reasons is because I missed my King Taco!!! I tried for years to find a place that had good Mexican food and could not find one! This place was right in front of my face for 5 years and I just now tried it! This place is absolutely delicious! I love their tacos, burritos, and tortas! The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they leave a little bit of fat in their tacos. They're also really pricey for such a small place. The customer service is good, though.
(4)Judith C.
When I think of Mexican food I don't simply think of same old cliche Alberto's, I think of Loco Burrito! They have many different plates to choose from with several sides, when it comes to deciding what to eat when you're craving Mexican food doesn't have to be an anxiety attack! If you want good Mexican food eats, Loco Burrito is top notch :)
(5)Brittany H.
The BEST burrito I've ever had. Tops places in Santa Ana/LA. I'm here on burrito Wednesday and was having second thoughts because I have to stay skinny for Halloween. But I'm so glad I decided to have a cheat day and I'm completely satisfied. TRY ONE! :3
(5)Christopher S.
I came here with my family with really high expectations and walked away very disappointed. Customer service was great thus the two stars but the food was really salty. I ordered a carne asada burrito and my wife and kids had the asada fries. Burrito had heaps of salt and so did the carne asada fries. My son also found two hairs in the asada fries. I was sick from salt the rest of the night. I will never visit this place again.

My girlfriend and I found this place in Yelp about six months ago, and it's still our number one go - to place for great Mexican food. We love their tacos and order the combo meals a lot. We also love the free home made child and salsa. The staff is extremely nice and always treats us well when we visit. Definitely worth a visit.
(5)John S.
How can I give Loco Burrito anything less than five stars? They did everything right. The free salsa and chips bar... the griddled, crispy cheese on the cheesy tacos, and the best al pastor you can possibly find. This place is perfect, and one of my favorite taquerias in the U.S.
(5)Larissa K.
Ate here for the first time tonight & it was the best taco salad I've had in a long time! Large quantity for a decent price. Definitely a place I eat at again!
(5)Alex M.
I've been coming to Loco Burrito since day one, literally, and it's still really good. It was my Taco Tuesday regular. The specials are always a good deal. The salsa bar everyone talks about is well stocked and full of tasty stuff. My wife had the barbacoa taco salad tonite. It was huge and delicious. I had flautas and a shrimp ceviche tostada. Also good. I see that they serve menudo all day, all weekend. I'll be back this weekend to check that out.
(3)Melissa H.
Great little place! Food is great and service was fast! The street tacos were really good, and they have breakfast all day, even better!
(5)Sandra H.
Stopped by on a Taco Tuesday to get some street tacos. Ordered one of each of the five types of meat. They were all very tasty, fresh, double tortilla, and plenty of meat. I'd definitely go back. As I waited for my to go order, I saw many other plates of food brought out to customers. Many of them looked delicious and it made me decide I'll be back to try other items. The hubs and I appreciated that they had 4 or 5 different salsas and their hot one was actually hot, that is not typically the case in a lot of Mexican places.

Came here because of the strong Yelp reviews. The place was quaint; loved the decor. The food seemed pretty authentic... it was very oily and greasy. More than what I prefer, but because of it, the food tasted great. Serving portion was pretty large. And the quality of the chicken was so-so. I prefer white meat, and what I got was a mix of white, dark and gristle.
