Great Habanero hot sauce. Incredible. Pretty decent breakfast burritos but I prefer Lucky Boy for that. Great taquitos and tacos.

Food was good. Service was horrible. I ordered nachos with no onions and it came with onions. I ordered a Mexibowl with half chicken and half carne asada. It had no chicken. The salsa bar had empty containers. No regular salsa, just hot and super hot. And it was a mess. Cashier was on the work phone and cell phone at the same time. one on each ear. Very poorly managed establishment.

Terrible customer service.. Waited in line for 10 minutes being ignored.. Food was not good at all.. Go elsewhere:)

Two words that make the start of any day awesome...BREAKFAST BURRITO. If you say to me..."hey, you wanna get a breakfast burrito before we go do blah, blah, blah...?" I would say back..."you had me at breakfast burrito...!" Some complete f*cking genius once passed out at dinner from too many margaritas, and his black beans, flour tortillas, salsa, cheese, potatoes, and peppers from his fajita dinner were all sitting on the table when he awoke from his tequila coma...he (we'll just call him Julio)...Julio was super hungry from his bender the night before, and seeing all these ingredients on the table he got an idea to add his breakfast eggs and make a burrtio out of (wait for it.....) BREAKFAST!!! Damn Julio...you just made a zillion people happy...I'm quite sure Mrs. Julio said it was a bad idea, or he made a mess of the kitchen, or he was a drunken idiot that would never amount to anything....but Mrs. Julio was wrong and the breakfast burrito took the world by storm and today we call Julio...The Most Interesting Man in the World. HA! Well to get to the point of why we are here...Amigos Tacos has breakfast burritos...and they are very good. They have a feta cheese, spinach, and egg white HEALTHY breakfast burrito that I found amazing. It was totally statisfying and yet I wasn't too full...perfect fuel for a long day ahead of doing whatever! Amigos also has tacos, lunch plates, and other stuff but I have only had breakfast buriitos so far. Location is off Artesia near Mira Costa Hight School...and you know them kids ditch 2nd period for a breakfast burrito...but hey, be cool...stay in school! Now, I know...you can get burritos almost everywhere in LA...and I am NOT saying this is THE BEST by far breakfast burrito or Mex-food ever anywhere in the whole wide world and universe...but for close to home, pretty reasonably priced, and tasty...it's 4 stars for me...if you don't at least try it out, you're not honoring Julio's legacy and you're dead to me. Salsa or Die bro....Salsa or die!

This place was okay. They use prefab hash browns and ham lunch meat in their burritos. I guess from all of the great reviews I was expecting more
(3)
K V.
I wanted a veggie burrito WET. So the price went from 6.95 to 9.50. 10 bucks for a cheap burrito with no meat? The workers are never friendly or say hello when you step to the register. No containers out for salsa is annoying too.

Ive seem mixed reviews of this place so decided to try it out. I ordered the fish tacos and park tacos. I thought for the most part they were pretty good. The pork had a nice flavor and fish was pretty good as well. The salsa bar was nice with a lot of nice additions to the tacos. For the most part the tacos were flavorful and a decent size as well so I was pretty full after eating 3 tacos. It took awhile for them to come but it was worth it. I wouldnt come here if its crowded though, it may take awhile.

Theur Nachos with al pstor meat are the best! It's my favorite! You must try their habanero sauce, it makes them even better! Generally it is pretty spicy, but today, it was rather mild in heat. The fish tacos are yummy, too!! It is a small restaurant with good service. They are almost always busy!

My favorite Mexican food in the whole world. Super authentic but not super greasy! Try the bean and cheese with rice and lettuce (my favorite).

Love their breakfast burritos. Quick, easy and delicious.

Ordered the carnitas burrito, dry caritas no taste it's over priced no chips with burrito $10 for a mediocre burrito better off going to Taco Bell. Anyone want a great burrito GO TO BENNY's in Westchester. Corner of Manchester and Loyola

I found this place to be unclean and the food to be mediocre. I got the breakfast burrito and the bacon was not crispy, the hash brown was soggy and the tortilla was not cooked through. I love a good breakfast burrito and this was not one.

Ok, I'll admit that this is a pretty harsh rating. Unfortunately I had high hopes since this place was highlighted in a Yelp email. Omg, an awesome fastfood mexican place near my house? Nope. it sucks. I don't understand the reviews. So fine, every Mexican place is compared to San Diego or Mexico so it's a little unfair. My litmus test is a simple bean and cheese burrito. You'd be surprised how representative this test is. Anyhow, theirs was bad. Bland beans, not hot enough to melt the cheese, very ordinary tortilla, and small. Sometimes the salsa can save it. They have 3 (aside from their pico de gallo). The green is terrific, the hot is fine but spicy, and the very hot only tastes like habanero and is very spicy. I love spice but only when complimenting flavor. I hate habaneros; so draw your own conclusion. All in all their offering was sub par. I was wondering if they did a good hard shelled taco, so I it a fish taco. The fish itself was decent and there was alot of filling. HOWEVER, the shell was premade from a box!!!!!!!! WTF! If I wanted a mass produces taco shell I'd go to Taco Bell!!! Omg that made me really upset. Probably the main reason for such a low rating. I'm 0-2 there. I might as well stick to El Tarasco even with its super gringo salsa. If someone thinks there's some Saving Grace to Amigos, lmk.

Best fish tacos I have ever eaten! Salsas were tasty, the habanero sauce is amazing, will creep up on you. It is the best in Redondo beach!
(4)
Jeremy L.
Amigos tacos has one of the best breakfast burritos hands down ! My buddies and I love them and always get our burritos from there. Don't forget to try the very hot salsa! I wish they could bottle the sauce so I could buy and take home ! I still have yet to try their other burritos, but it's hard to choose something else other than a breakfast burrito !

Amigos Tacos Breakfast Torta's are like white girl crack. I'm currently digesting the aforementioned torta as I type. I can't put into words how amazing it is. Salty, savory and juicy, it's the perfect blend of flavors. Also try the taco el pastor. Delish!
(5)
Dan G.
This place is so overrated. I have no idea how anyone could consider their breakfast burrito to good or the best of anything. I've tried it a couple of times just to be sure. Absolutely the worst I've ever had. How could you possibly like a burrito with old frozen hash browns in it? What's wrong with you people! The carnitas and beans aren't very good, the supernachos skimped on decent toppings, the salsas taste too much like tabasco. More proof that on yelp there are certain areas where due to a lack of diversity you get a certain type of person writing most of the reviews and they're basically clueless.

I used to frequent this place whenever I would get a "street taco" craving. When i first found this spot I was pleasantly surprised on how they used a "spit" to cook their pastor meat for their al pastor tacos. The al pastor tacos here are awesome. Some of the best I have tasted. The reason for the low review is definitely because of their horrible service. Now when I go into a "hole in the wall" type restaurant I don't always expect stellar service, but this place has some bad service on an epic scale. I don't know if the workers here are overworked, or severely underpaid but the the cashiers here are jerks. Also the prices here are borderline absurd. The taco prices are decent (2 dollars each), but some of their burrito prices are just ridiculous. I took a few of my Mexican coworkers here and they were shocked at the prices. I guess they gotta make up the inflated Manhattan Beach rent costs somehow... I hate myself every time for eating here because I really don't want to give them my business due to there atrocious service but when their pastor is on, It's on!
(2)
Franci A.
I like the place. Of course, the breakfast burrito is the best, but their other stuff is good too. Yes it is more pricey then most for fast mexican food, but it's fresh & has a good flavor. I hit it regularly

dont fall for the hype!!! the breakfast burrito isn't anything special. maybe for a starving high school kid or a stoned surfer. but i read all the reviews about these burritos so i went to try one. i was very disappointed. over priced and the burrito was small. every taco truck puts hash browns in there breakfast burritos and the taco trucks only charge $4 and its double the size. So i decided to give the tacos a shot. its really hard to mess up tacos... i got 2 carne asada and 2 al pastor... 2.29 per taco is out of control. and it was not worth it at all.. the carne asada was whatever. the al pastor was dry and slightly rubbery. no flavor what so ever. it is safe to say that i will NOT be coming back here. and to everybody raving about the breakfast burritos, you need to get out more cause these breakfast burritos SUCK! nothing special. this place wouldve got 1 star but that habanero sauce is pretty good. the only good thing this place has going for them.
(1)
Jeff B.
This place gets a 5 star rating for its breakfast burrito alone. It also has great tacos and the guys are great about letting you customize your order. Get the breakfast burrtio and I promise you won't be let down.

If this is the best Mexican food in the South Bay, then I feel terrible for the people who live there. It's WAY overpriced for the "hole in the wall Mexican joint" vibe they have going. A wet carne asada burrito was about $9. NINE DOLLARS! My burrito was huge, but it's definitely quantity at the cost of quality! The tortilla was gummy. The carne asada looked like ground beef because it was chopped up so small. The beans, rice and massive chunks of lettuce were few and far in between. They use metal containers for take out orders, so my burrito tasted metallic because the wet sauce reacted slightly with the foil. Ick! The same burrito at Tacos Ensenada (voted #1 by Yelpers) is under $5. And the burrito has way more flavor! My brother had hyped up Amigos, so this was a total letdown. I definitely won't be back. I'll have to show my brother what REAL Mexican food tastes like!
(2)
Cleophus B.
Pretty solid Mexican spot. I had the breakfast burrito like all the yelpers suggested. It was very good, although it broke apart. I've also had the carne asada burrito...not bad either. Amigos is not the greatest Mexican restaurant, but it's no where near horrible. I'll definitely hit them up again.
(3)
Cindy L.
This place is a great place to grab good mexican grub. My fave is the breakfast burrito but they have a full menu to choose from. They also have a salsa bar.
(4)
Frank C.
Get the breakfast burrito! They also offer some exotic cuts as well that you wouldn't normally find at taquerias in MB. Their quesadillas are pretty good as well. It's nestled in the corner of a small strip mall near Mira Costa so you'll see a lot of High School kids there. Price is reasonable and the place is clean; they make the food right in front of you. Good place to visit if you need a burrito fix.

Poor service. Disgusting food. Not worth the money. They do not listen and when you ask for specific things they dont care and its too much effort.

we stopped on our way to work. i saw they had breakfast burritos so i decided to order one. i got the chorizo and egg breakfast burrito. told the guy to please hold the tomatoes. he tells me "viene con todo" (it comes with everything). surely, when you cook it, you can oh i don't know NOT add tomatoes? i walked out of that place pretty disappointed. felt like they make the food when they open and preheat it when someone orders it. very lazy. i ended up going to 7 eleven which was right next to them. got myself a hot dog. ruined my breakfast. thanks Dos Amigos. NOT!

I love Mexi-food, like... a lot! Lol! So I was super excited that there was a fast-food Mexi joint around the corner from our new place. I called in an order for a carne asada burrito and a few moments later walked over. It was $8 plus a dollar for my guacamole request(which I think should come standard!) kind of pricey. All good if it's delicious though right!??!? Well, it was not. Very mediocre, nothing exciting and I can recall only one piece of something that looked like an avocado. Robbed and disappointed, some amigos you are.
(2)
Tish W.
Trying the Fish Burrito. Good parking, next to 7 Eleven. It was pretty tasty and heavy.
(5)
Lou E.
The breakfast quesadilla is solid. I passed on breakfast burrito because it was early and my brain said cheese. Mmm, cheese... After I ordered I thought I made a mistake. Not so. For a dollar more you get cheese overload and it's cut in perfect finger food sizes. $6.49 for the quesadilla. Horchata was the right consistency. Free refills? Awesome. The Mexican place near my home had the same quesadilla only for $9.75. 3 dollars more. What a rip. Coffee and sodas are free to refill. There are fresh ingredients on the food but I didn't get any. So if you like it cheezy and greazy this is the place to be.

Amigos has a pretty bomb breakfast burrito. Overloaded with all the meats and eggs and what have you to ensure your getting a real meal without all the veggie nonsense that's so prevalent in this healthy eating world. It's seriously delish. But I have had better, just not in the south bay and therefore they get 4 stars. The location is hidden behind a 7-11 in a hole in the wall type feeling strip mall esque place, and everything feels very authentic. They have a great salsa bar, and horchata or whatever too! I haven't tried anything else so I can't go into too much detail but the morning craving for their signature burrito seems to creep up on me more and more as if the addiction is getting stronger. Obviously worth a try.
(4)
Paul K.
Decent Mex food. Had a carne asada burrito and a pastor taco. The burrito was really good, the pastor just meh. Their salsa selection is a little on the plain side- If you're thinking La Salsa, you will be disappointed. Some pico de gallo would be nice. But for the price, a grub burrito.
(3)
Ed B.
"THE" killer north of Baja Breakfast Burrito by far! Also great breakfast quesadillas! Not high quality ingredients but it's got that "bad food good eatin" thing goin. Add just a few drops of their creamy, ultra spicy house made picante sauce, kick back overlooking the El Porto break...closest thing to heaven!

My friend used to bring me here when I was a visitor to and not a resident of the South Bay. He was in love with the joint. I am not about to throw the kid under the bus right here but lets just say he wasn't adventurous when it comes to food. He found one place decided this is MY spot and well there you have it, someone who isn't me would just go to that place over and over again. As a cook, the kid made a BOMB chilli but as a foodie he never really ventured out of his bubble much. His favorite place was 'Soup Plantation.' [ I hope no Yelpers are Soup Plantation fans but I HATE Soup Plantation. Its where senior citizens go to eat luke warm barely mediocre soup and die.] I digress. To be fair the tacos here are definitely good, but so unconsciously over priced it literally affects the flavor. We are talking OVER $2.00 for a really tiny small shell taco you could definitely get nearby for flat dollar. A part of it is the location and for god sakes its located less than a block from Mira Costa and in the neighborhood where half the Lakers reside. One of the most important things on my Yelp reviews is BANG FOR THE BUCK and this place fails miserably in that department. In New York or Hoboken I feel you should be able to get away with this pricing. So okay it is 'Manhattan' Beach but still go right down the road on Artesia and you will find other places with just as good a taco for less. The place across from Rod's has them for $1.27. Al Chili Pelon has them for a flat BUCK if you get a combo. Now the one really redeeming quality about this spot and my friend who sadly doesn't live in CA anymore would stress this is the selection of hot sauces. They have hot sauce. They have really really hot sauce and they have a SUPER EXTREME hot sauce. You better just open your mouth under the Horchata spout. So if you wanna play a really cruel practical joke on a out of town un suspecting friend. This is the spot.

I really like their carne asada burrito. I like their carnitas torta. And my wife likes their asada tacos. You are paying a little extra for the location.
(4)

Their bean and cheese burrito is 5 bucks even though it's the size of taco bell's which costs a buck and tastes the same. Don't get their bean and cheese thats for sure.

Breakfast burrito is overrated...the meat wasn't even cut up...i asked for just a sausage and egg burrito but they told me that it was already in the breakfast burrito...

I've been here a few times; food is decent, but I agree that prices are a teensy bit high, but maybe thats the Manhattan Beach address? Stellar staff add a star. The guys here are so nice (in a non creepy I actually want to be friendly kind of way.... k, im sure it has something to do with the fact that im a cute blonde girl, but at least they werent 'creepy i wanna get out of here asap' haha...) you get the picture.

Holy crap! Two words....BREAKFAST BURRITO!! Normally no matter where I go, if I see breakfast burrito on the menu...I order it. This is BY FAR the BEST breakfast burrito I've ever had. Their super hot sauce is OUT OF THIS WORLD. It is extremely spicy but oh so good. If you can't handle spice, don't get it because it's HOT! It's not just the spice level why I like it, but it also has really good flavor. All the employees are extremely nice. I've never ordered anything but their breakfast burrito, but watching them make the food you can just tell how delicious all of it is. Their proportions are huge and put a lot of meat in their burritos. I give this place two thumbs up!

I can count on one hand the good Mexican places in the South Bay and this is one of them. They are a little pricey but overall good for the dollar. I just grew up in S Cal with cheaper priced Mexican food... Their Bean/Rice & Cheese burrito is absolutely amazing!!

My only regret is not giving this place a chance sooner after working down the street for years. Reminds me of a good authentic taco truck turned brick and mortar. Bomb tacos for under $2 and they do not skimp on loading these up! Tried lengua, carnitas, and al pastor and all were awesome. I have a feeling the office has found a new go to lunch spot. Bonus points for all the fountain drink options from coke zero to horchata. Try the very hot sauce in the salsa bar. Same owners as Sabra so it is a slightly diluted version of their awesome habanero sauce.

Just now realized that this Amigos Tacos is much easier to get to than the one in Hermosa Beach. I don't have to pay for parking or stop at all of these stop signs like I have to in Hermosa. Came in around 8:40 in the evening because I had a taste for Carne Asada fries. I asked the cashier for an order, he looks up at the clock and then begins to tell me that they do not sell them at this location. The Amigos Tacos here and in Hermosa both have the same owner, so why would they not have the same menu? Someone else came in right after I did, and I noticed he immediately walked out as well. Well it looks like I'm only going to the one in Hermosa from now on. Feeding the meter shouldn't be too bad lol.

they got the full Orange Bang Selection! Good mexican food. Clean facilities. Quick. Its not really fast food, but it is quick. Better than la salsa or baja fresh..... cheaper, but not as good as chipotle.

Just had my 1st "Amigos" experience. Instead of drawing it out, telling you every little fucking detail, let me just say this. 1) Record time, received my food in less than 3 min. 2) Great salsa, the spiciest, mui caliente-est option was the bomb, I clogged up, a lil tear 3) Decent food, that didn't make me want to play king of the castle on my porcelain throne 4) Yes, I would go again
(3)
Paparomeroalpha P.
Really good and fresh breakfast burritos.
(4)
Jeni C.
Their Chili Relleno Burrito is pretty good and I like that they will make my breakfast quesadilla anyway I want. I like spinach added. What I don't like and wish they would stop is using Styrofoam products to package their stuff up in. Bad for the planet guys.
(3)
Kimberlee C.
Giving a 3 star for the food. However I will only give a 1 star for the service. The guy had no idea what we were ordering, he was on the phone and made me stand there waiting for my change, and they have a salsa bar but no cups. When you ask for cups they give you only 1 and it is like pulling teeth to get any more than that.
(3)
Donsta L.
Spicy! SPiCy! SpiCY! The tacos here are only $2 bucks and the hot sauce is.. HOT! Carne asada, onions, cilantro, and hot sauce, just the way I like it! I haven't tried anything else here but looks like a lot of high school kids come by and get burritos and other things. It's clean and the food comes out quick. Eff, I need to stop Yelping after hours cause I want some NOW.
(3)
Chris C.
I ordered a rather expensive burrito "al pastor" but that must have been my mistake. I didn't see any pork anywhere matching the poster they had in the window. But if they didn't have any, they could have just said so instead of giving me the crappiest carnitas I've ever had. I was offended that they just assumed I couldn't tell the difference. Where's the respect? For the money, for a burrito, you're probably better off going to Chipotle. It's the same price. HOWEVER, I must confess that their salsa bar is excellent and their breakfast burritos, if you don't care about your blood pressure, are probably the best in the South Bay. They also have an awesome assortment of agua frescas, (melon, horchata, jamaica) which is always a plus for me-- that's why I gave them an extra star. I still think the food is overpriced though.
(3)
Jordan P.
Two words: breakfast burrito. The rest of their menu is on par with the plethora of other Mexican restaurants in the area, but I've never found a better breakfast burrito in Los Angeles or anywhere else for that matter. I go here almost once a week. Plus the staff are hardworking and friendly.
(5)
Matthew M.
If I had tried more things on the menu and loved it, might would have earned 5 star if better than 4... I haven't been there since I graduated Mira Costa, but I do remember I love the breakfast burrito there. Whenever I have the time in the morning, my friend (always my friend, never me) would order us a breakfast burrito and we'd always cut it in half. Yes, you heard me, "cut it in half." It is that big. Big enough to make 2 people full on 1 burrito! I have no idea what's inside the burrito; it looks, smells, and tastes like one, so why should I question the contents?
(4)
Chang K.
Awesome tacos which are authentic. It's hard finding good Mexican food in the South Bay unless you go to long beach and get king taco. Best tacos in the area.

Oh Amigo's. You delicious burritos, you. These are far and away my favorite BURRITOS in LA. These are the burrito standard. All other burritos will be judged by Amigo's Tacos. Amigo's Taco's should be called "Amigo's Burritos." The veggie burrito and, of course, the breakfast burrito are favorites. They are so generous with the contents, use fresh ingredients, and really know how to combine your favorite flavors to make your mouth water. I used to come here all the time in high school, and probably still would if I weren't trying to not be fat. This is an easy place to get fat at, because it is so delicious and the burritos are huge. Mmm.

I came here with my friend starving after a work out. I ordered 4 tacos (buche, lengua, carnitas, and al pastor). I wanted to try one of each. Ha ha... my friend ordered the taco plate. The al pastor and buche was a bit dry. The lengua had good texture. Carnitas was so so. I also brought home their famous breakfast burrito for husband. He seems to like it. I think the tacos are so so. But I would come back again, and try out their other stuff. My friend seems to like her food. I would give it 3.5 stars, but I always round down.

Gosh how I miss Amigos! I never realized how good they were until I moved away from the south bay! Every time I come back to visit, I have to go there again to get a taste of authentic mexican food. My favorite (by far) is the carne asada burrito. I always ask for a side of their homemade habenero sauce. It is definitely hot, and a little goes a long way, but it is amazing. The prices are great too, which makes the meal even better! The service is very quick too...This is the best in MB (even if they do only have a B rating)!!!!

1st of all the Pinpoint on the map to the right is showing their other 2515 Artesia Blvd address not this 1221 Artesia Blvd location. I really like Mexican food. I've probably taken 10 trips to Mexico in last 8 years for fishing and fun. I just spent 8 days in La Saladita Beach (40 miles North of Ixtapa) in November for a surf trip. I had some of the best shrimp tacos in my life there on that trip. I've eaten here probably 6-7 times over the years. They expanded to having 4 locations now. I kind of feel it was better a year or more back. They've also raised the prices in the last year. Today for lunch I had the Al Pastor (spicy marinated pork) Torta. The meat had a ton and flavor and it was really good (4 stars). I've had the carnitas a few times and it's not too bad (3 stars). The Breakfast Burrito is really good also (4 stars). It's a heart attack in a tortilla though: eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, ham, and cheese. I can't vouch for the rest of the menu. Their supper spicy salsa is pretty wicked also. By the orange color I'm guessing it's spiced up with habaneros. They also have tongue, hog mow, and cheek meat on the menu. So if you're turned off by that this might not be the place for you.

Rob W.
Great tacos. I'm going to have to go back for the breakfast burritos everyone's talking about---even saw a few people eating them around 5:00 PM so I guess they have to be good. I don't get the people who are saying they're expensive. For the money you get an awful lot of food (good food).
(4)
Michael R.
Tacos are 1.99 per taco, probably the higest amount I have ever paid for a street taco. Tortillas were chalky tasting, not sure if they were old or maybe they weren't lubricated before heating. Meat was OK but the chalkness of the tortillas detracted. There are better, cheaper places, that's were I will be in the future.
(2)
Ryan H.
Bean and cheese burrito was not good. Burrito was cold, and the cheese was not melted at all. The tacos did look pretty good.
(1)
Dave K.
This is the best Amigos Taco's in the South Bay. I have been going for years and the food is always great. They have a killer breakfast burrito which is a must have on Saturday or Sunday mornings. The meats are the best before 12noon. Keep up the good work...

Being San Diegan native, I know what GOOD mexican food looks/tastes like. Ive been searching for a mexican place to get a california burrito ( they should just call it SD BURRITO since you cant get them anywhere else) Long story short, I work in MB and we ventured down there. It has a B rating. NEVER SEEN THAT BEFORE. So I contemplate. Go in. Order a bean and cheese burrito with guac, and sour cream. No meat. and I get food poisoned. gross. Good thing I was going to SD 2 days later to redeem my love for burritos dooo not go here. EW

EVERY time im back in LA I HAVE to stop here. its just that good. Everyone loves the brekfast burrito, personally I don't care for it I love the Carnitas burrito with sour cream and guac mmm delicious One of the best mexican food around. prices just went up :(

Update Oct 2007: I am giving Amigos tacos 4 stars for their tacos al pastor and 5 stars because they make cash and food donations to Mira Costa High School. They recently agreed to give a food donation to the College Fair. Thank You Amigos Tacos --------------------------------------------------Â------------------------------------------------ REAL MEXICAN FOOD IN MANHATTAN BEACH? Amigos Tacos is across the street from my office but I never went there until today. It is located in a small strip mall that includes 7/11 and a cleaners. My al pastor taco was $1.59 and very very tasty and cut from a vertical rotisserie similar to what you see when ordering a gyro at a Greek restaurant. They have condiments such as spiced carrots (my favorite) and whole radishes as well as salsas but don't add salsa to al pastor because it is the flavor of the meat and sauce that make it so good. I agree with the OP that La Cueva is best but I like Amigos too.
(4)
Angie W.
Their tacos are more expensive than La Cueva, but I rarely eat the tacos here. I usually come here for their breakfast burrito! This place happens to be the most convenient food place near our church, so we often stop by after service for breakfast/brunch. Their breakfast burrito consists of 2 eggs, cheese, bacon, sausage, ham, hash browns and salsa for $5.99. For $2, more you can get their super breakfast burrito which is double the size. The meal goes well with a large Orange Bang!
(4)
Jose Y.
I'm keeping this short and sweet...perfect place to come if you work around El Segundo and are craving some Mexican food for lunch. Prices are reasonable, carne asada tacos are packed with well seasoned meat, their Vegetarian burrito is really good, and their salsa is spicy but not overkill. In addition, they got a nice HD TV screen, so I usually come with a buddy whenever we feel like watching an English Premier League or Champions League match. The only possible drag could be parking, but that's never really an issue when I've been there.
(4)
Jiron E.
The best. This was my favorite place to eat afterschool when I went to costa years ago. The crowd favorite was the breakfast burritos but my personal fav is the nachos. Everything is fresh and the meat is never frozen.

I just want a place I can go for cheap, solid tacos. At $2 a pop they still aren't rock bottom cheap but as far as flavor goes I'm totally sold. These are just packed with chopped onions and cilantro (cheese and guac and stuff are extra per taco but as much of a cheese on everything person I am you don't even miss it if you just order straight tacos). The salsas are nice and spicy. I don't like huge plates of food or lots of extras, just things that are nicely portioned and balanced. They do the deal here with the double layer of tortilla so it'll hold the generous portion of filling without falling apart on you.

Awesome place. I had the fish burrito and it was perfect. It was quality food and they don't go cheap. Plenty of fish and fixin's inside.

My son got take out from here the night after Christmas. He had pork, beans, salsa, and some lettuce. Three hours later he realized he had food poisoning. From 12:00 midnight until 8:00am he was very sick and became dehydrated. I had to take him to Little Company of Mary emergency. He was there from 9:00 am until 6:00pm. He had intravenous fluids and anti nausea medication. For the next day he still had nausea and pain. For two days he has had to follow a special diet of certain fluids, crackers, broth, jello etc. We have reported this place to The Department of Health and have been told they will follow up. We have been going to Amigos Tacos for years and have enjoyed the food. However, this is unacceptable. I can't believe how sick my son was. At first I thought it was the pork, but now I think it might have been the salsa which probably sat there for hours. You have to be very careful in places like this. Beware.....you don't want to get food poisoning. If you haven't had it, when you have it you just want to die....that's how bad it is. P.S. The Health Dept followed up on my report. The place might look clean, but you can't tell if the food is contaminated! P.S.S. My sons out of pocket cost for medical expenses was $1,300. Amigo 's Tacos did not respond when a certified letter was sent to the owner.

This is a chain in the South Bay and I've eaten at all of them. YOU MUST TRY THE BREAKFAST BURRITO. I think it's the best one in the South Bay. I've tried the one at Incredible Cafe, Tomboys, and other establishments but Amigos Tacos has the best one. Ok, so I alter the burrito a little bit but I highly suggest you do the same. The burrito comes with eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, sausage, ham, and cheese in a large flour tortilla. I omit the ham but ask them to put some of their refried beans in it. I think I'm a genius for coming up with this substitution. Just try it and you will be a new man/woman. My best friend Meredith got me hooked on their carne asada tacos too. So good. I love this place!!!

Excellent burritos and tacos. Have tried all of the meats - on par with King Tacos East LA, What a place to find in Manhattan Beach, however not all of the Amigos Tacos have the same menu. This one is my favorite.

A unique style and offering of mexican food. I love the carne asada burrito as well!!

Best. Breakfast. Burrito. Ever! That's all you have to know.

Try the Breakfast Burritos. Huge, delicious and cheap. You really can't ask for more!

I used to love this place in high school and briefly after. But then their prices were raised noticeably, the quality was lowered a lot, and the taste wasn't as good anymore. I eat it at most once a year nowadays. It was legendary, now I am indifferent that it exists.

I LOVE YOU AMIGOS! You gave many a delicious lunches on breaks when I worked close by. You're chicken tacos are cheap and unbelievably tasty. However, the first time I had them I nearly died from how spicy they were. Definitely, a must if you're into spicy salsa/sauces. From then on I would just order them gringo style with just the chicken and cheese. Added my own milder salsa that they had on their salsa/toppings bar. Amigo's is definitely a place to go if you want a quick Mexican fix. I highly recommend it. Also, they're known for their breakfast burrito, people used to cut class when I went to Mira Costa just to get them.

kind of expensive but now here are the positives: the best carne asada ever. just fatty enough, very spicy, and fresh. another bonus is that they carry orange bang and those mexican coca colas which has real sugar in it. always better than high fructose corn syrup. but i'll be honest the carne asada tacos is pretty much all i order but nothing else really matters to me so there you go.

got some take out here the other day, this place rocks. inexpensive, i thought it was oging to take a while but it was really quick. ordered the hardshell carne asada tacos ($1.79 each) and a carne asada burrito. (close to $6). the only thing i didn't like was the pico de gallo selection. too much onions, not enough tomatoes... i'd go here again.

Amigo's Tacos may be the best place to go for Mexican food in Manhattan Beach. The only reason it doesn't get the definite title is that it's not really like the other Mexican restaurants in Manhattan Beach, being more of a fast food place than the typical sit-down Mexican place like El Tarasco or El Sombrero. However, their food is probably the most authentic, and this is the reason why a lot of the people you see eating here are Mexican. Amigo's tacos are the small kind that come on corn tortillas and come with any kind of meat from typical carne asada to more unorthodox (at least in the US) cow brains or tongue. The tortas are great, the burritos are good, but where they really stand out is with the breakfast burrito (probably the best in the South Bay) and the chorizo and egg burrito. If you like Amigo's, I strongly suggest La Cueva on Artesia Blvd. in Lawndale. It's basically the same food (except for the breakfast burrito) but cheaper and tastier.

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Great Habanero hot sauce. Incredible. Pretty decent breakfast burritos but I prefer Lucky Boy for that. Great taquitos and tacos.
(5)Gerald M.
(2)Robert K.

(4)Amber W.
This place was okay. They use prefab hash browns and ham lunch meat in their burritos. I guess from all of the great reviews I was expecting more
(3)K V.
I wanted a veggie burrito WET. So the price went from 6.95 to 9.50. 10 bucks for a cheap burrito with no meat? The workers are never friendly or say hello when you step to the register. No containers out for salsa is annoying too.
(2)J W.
(4)Alana M.
(5)Kimberly B.
My favorite Mexican food in the whole world. Super authentic but not super greasy! Try the bean and cheese with rice and lettuce (my favorite).
(5)Jason H.
Love their breakfast burritos. Quick, easy and delicious.
(4)M M.
Ordered the carnitas burrito, dry caritas no taste it's over priced no chips with burrito $10 for a mediocre burrito better off going to Taco Bell. Anyone want a great burrito GO TO BENNY's in Westchester. Corner of Manchester and Loyola
(1)Tina G.
I found this place to be unclean and the food to be mediocre. I got the breakfast burrito and the bacon was not crispy, the hash brown was soggy and the tortilla was not cooked through. I love a good breakfast burrito and this was not one.
(2)Robert Q.
(1)Natasha C.
Best fish tacos I have ever eaten! Salsas were tasty, the habanero sauce is amazing, will creep up on you. It is the best in Redondo beach!
(4)Jeremy L.
(5)Tiffany L.
Amigos Tacos Breakfast Torta's are like white girl crack. I'm currently digesting the aforementioned torta as I type. I can't put into words how amazing it is. Salty, savory and juicy, it's the perfect blend of flavors. Also try the taco el pastor. Delish!
(5)Dan G.
(2)Aaron C.
(2)Franci A.
I like the place. Of course, the breakfast burrito is the best, but their other stuff is good too. Yes it is more pricey then most for fast mexican food, but it's fresh & has a good flavor. I hit it regularly
(4)Brandon B.
dont fall for the hype!!! the breakfast burrito isn't anything special. maybe for a starving high school kid or a stoned surfer. but i read all the reviews about these burritos so i went to try one. i was very disappointed. over priced and the burrito was small. every taco truck puts hash browns in there breakfast burritos and the taco trucks only charge $4 and its double the size.
(1)Jeff B.
This place gets a 5 star rating for its breakfast burrito alone. It also has great tacos and the guys are great about letting you customize your order. Get the breakfast burrtio and I promise you won't be let down.
(5)Marissa G.
(2)Cleophus B.
(3)Cindy L.
This place is a great place to grab good mexican grub. My fave is the breakfast burrito but they have a full menu to choose from. They also have a salsa bar.
(4)Frank C.
(4)Ryan W.
Poor service. Disgusting food. Not worth the money. They do not listen and when you ask for specific things they dont care and its too much effort.
(1)Omar R.
we stopped on our way to work. i saw they had breakfast burritos so i decided to order one. i got the chorizo and egg breakfast burrito. told the guy to please hold the tomatoes. he tells me "viene con todo" (it comes with everything). surely, when you cook it, you can oh i don't know NOT add tomatoes? i walked out of that place pretty disappointed. felt like they make the food when they open and preheat it when someone orders it. very lazy. i ended up going to 7 eleven which was right next to them. got myself a hot dog. ruined my breakfast. thanks Dos Amigos. NOT!
(1)Christina V.
(2)Tish W.
Trying the Fish Burrito. Good parking, next to 7 Eleven. It was pretty tasty and heavy.
(5)Lou E.
(4)Nick S.
(4)Paul K.
(3)Ed B.
(5)Efti P.
(3)Addison P.
I really like their carne asada burrito. I like their carnitas torta. And my wife likes their asada tacos. You are paying a little extra for the location.
(4)Raquel H.
Their bean and cheese burrito is 5 bucks even though it's the size of taco bell's which costs a buck and tastes the same. Don't get their bean and cheese thats for sure.
(1)Arielle K.
Breakfast burrito is overrated...the meat wasn't even cut up...i asked for just a sausage and egg burrito but they told me that it was already in the breakfast burrito...
(2)Rebecca S.
(3)Hycy C.
(4)keith g.
I can count on one hand the good Mexican places in the South Bay and this is one of them. They are a little pricey but overall good for the dollar. I just grew up in S Cal with cheaper priced Mexican food... Their Bean/Rice & Cheese burrito is absolutely amazing!!
(4)Zach R.
(4)Eduardo S.
(1)Mike M.
they got the full Orange Bang Selection! Good mexican food. Clean facilities. Quick. Its not really fast food, but it is quick. Better than la salsa or baja fresh..... cheaper, but not as good as chipotle.
(4)Nathan W.
(3)Paparomeroalpha P.
Really good and fresh breakfast burritos.
(4)Jeni C.
Their Chili Relleno Burrito is pretty good and I like that they will make my breakfast quesadilla anyway I want. I like spinach added. What I don't like and wish they would stop is using Styrofoam products to package their stuff up in. Bad for the planet guys.
(3)Kimberlee C.
(3)Donsta L.
Spicy! SPiCy!
(3)Chris C.
(3)Jordan P.
Two words: breakfast burrito. The rest of their menu is on par with the plethora of other Mexican restaurants in the area, but I've never found a better breakfast burrito in Los Angeles or anywhere else for that matter. I go here almost once a week. Plus the staff are hardworking and friendly.
(5)Matthew M.

Breakfast. Burrito. End of story. Buy it. Eat it. Enjoy it. You won't find better!

Great tacos. I'm going to have to go back for the breakfast burritos everyone's talking about---even saw a few people eating them around 5:00 PM so I guess they have to be good. I don't get the people who are saying they're expensive. For the money you get an awful lot of food (good food).

Bean and cheese burrito was not good. Burrito was cold, and the cheese was not melted at all. The tacos did look pretty good.

EW

(5)Earl U.
Excellent burritos and tacos. Have tried all of the meats - on par with King Tacos East LA, What a place to find in Manhattan Beach, however not all of the Amigos Tacos have the same menu. This one is my favorite.
(3)Richard K.
A unique style and offering of mexican food. I love the carne asada burrito as well!!
(4)Tony H.
Best. Breakfast. Burrito. Ever! That's all you have to know.
(5)Dan P.
Try the Breakfast Burritos. Huge, delicious and cheap. You really can't ask for more!
(4)Sean S.

(5)Akane K.
kind of expensive but now here are the positives: the best carne asada ever. just fatty enough, very spicy, and fresh. another bonus is that they carry orange bang and those mexican coca colas which has real sugar in it. always better than high fructose corn syrup. but i'll be honest the carne asada tacos is pretty much all i order but nothing else really matters to me so there you go.
(4)rix g.
got some take out here the other day, this place rocks. inexpensive, i thought it was oging to take a while but it was really quick. ordered the hardshell carne asada tacos ($1.79 each) and a carne asada burrito.
