Delicious and thai tea is yummy!

Went to this place yesterday. I found it on yelp :-) First impression this place is very nice and upscale. The plates are average priced. The facility was clean. I had the pad see ew shrimp. Awesome dish. I will definitely be coming back here again. The waitress was very attentive. We never had to wait for refills. Food was god quality. A well taken care of establishment. I don't drink wine but I did noticed a wide selection of wine on my way out.

Came here with my boyfriend's family for Mother's Day lunch and all I can say is: Yuuuum! Every dish is packed with so much flavor and there wasn't one dish I didn't like. I have to agree with some of the yelpers below, this thai place is unique and original in flavor, taste, and dishes. And their Thai tea is SO good! You can tell it's not a powder mixture, and probably brewed from the real Thai leaves. Let's get down to business- Tom Yum soup, I always have to try this a at every new Thai place I go to. I love how it came out in a stone pot, the chicken was so soft and tender. My only complaint was that it wasn't spicy enough, but this soup is good! Apple catfish: this is my favorite dish here and I'm so glad I listened to the other yelpers! This dish is unique because it's a Chef's special, and most other Thai restaurants don't have this dish. The catfish is so crisp and is topped with papaya salad! Comes with a pot of rice on the side. I'm already drooling.. Some other dishes we ordered were the Pad Thai (super flavorful and noodles were great), seafood combination fried rice, Mongolian beef, and Crying Tiger steak. The crying tiger is so tender and comes out sliced and sizzling. My boyfriend loved this dish. I recommend ordering the seafood combination fried rice and ordering some other dishes on the side and eat "family style." Although I do plan on coming back for their lunch special, which is weekdays only til 3 :) Dessert: green tea ice cream with fried banana

It was Halloween. Our neighborhood is besieged by 18 year old trick or treaters. That seems wrong. The only sensible thing to do is to go to dinner and a movie. Back to Nayada Thai. Had the lamb Mussaman curry and my wife had chicken chow mein. When they brought the lamb shank, I thought I would need a knife, but NO! It's tender and it's pretty easy to fork it off the bone. I loves me some mussaman curry, and the surprise option of lamb was bonus. This time had brown rice, which was cooked properly. That will be my staple when we come here again. I prefer thicker lo mein noodles, but they were fine for my wife. She likes mushrooms and I don't so I only ate about half of the half of chow mein noodles she left on her plate because it tasted vaguely mushroomy. This is a consistently good Thai restaurant.

This is our go to Thai restaurant. The food is always delicious and the price is reasonable compared to other Thai restaurants in the area. The free Thai Iced Teas are always appreciated too! The Pad Thai is always great. I also love the curry's and the salads. The ingredients are fresh and high quality! Recommended for all!!

Maybe 3.5 but bumped up to 4 stars cause of the service. On the tab Papaya salad beef pad sew Halibut panang curry (fish was overcooked) Mango catfish Tom yum soup - tasted like nothing Pros: Parking Service Flatware/serving plates great sauces Cons: food takes forever to come out Pass on Tom yum

I have made numerous trips to Nayada Thai, and have never been disappointed in whatever I have tried. Have tried the chicken satay, golden bags (one of our favorites), crisp garlic wings, and angel wings, pad thai, pad see ew, and pad kee mao are delicious. Look forward to returning often to try out the other selections on the menu. The service provided has always been outstanding, especially Nikki who is always attentive and friendly. She makes sure your glass is never empty.

Small portions at expensive prices. Ordered a bowl of chicken Tom yum.... It only came with 3 small shredded strips of chicken One of the server was rude. Not only to me but to others also. This is my first and last time here.

For delivery service - ordered my food at 7:00 and it was delivered by 7:50pm. Dinner was brought in and enjoyed the food with my kids I would highly recommend the delivery service from this restaurant.

We drove by this one for almost two years before giving it a try. Now we wish we had not waited! We took the family here for dinner on Mother's Day and had a wonderful experience. This restaurant has one of the best pad se ew dishes I have ever had. The spring rolls were also very good. The atmosphere is also very pleasant. Do not hesitate to give this one a try.

We recently moved to Long Beach and are looking for are looking for a regular Thai place to go to. This place had good reviews so we decided to try it out. I called in my order and the lady told me it would be 30 minutes. I thought this sounded a bit long, but I was okay with it. Upon getting to the restaurant it was really busy so the 30 minute wait made sense. HOWEVER, I waited another 28 minutes at the restaurant for my food to be ready. The point of take out is for it to be ready when you get there. If it was going to be an hour wait, tell me, so that I can decide if I want to wait an hour for take out. But to make me wait 28 minutes in the restaurant is ridiculous. If I would have known it would have been 60 minutes, I would have went somewhere else, because 60 minutes seems way too long to wait for two appetizers and one entree. Not only was the service time terrible, but the food was not good. To be fair, the Golden Bags and Wontons were pretty good, but our entire was absolutely gross. We ordered the Tiger Steak because the menu touted that as their most popular steak dish. it was not only not very good, but it was cold by the time I got home. This especially made me mad since I had to wait an hour for cold food. I should add that this entree alone costs $19. Needless to say, I don't plan on returning to this restaurant.

I enjoyed this place. Generally, when I go to Thai restaurants, I avoid the usual Pad Thai in favor of their specials or things like Pad See Ew. Doing this really shows their true colors. Went this direction when we visited. Started with the Southern Thai salad w crunchy tofu. This was a listed special and was very tasty. I especially liked the tofu. It was a little spicy (even for me), but still good. Next was the "Tantalizing" eggplant with basil. As a vegetarian dish, it was pretty good. Again, it was a little spicy. As I have discovered that I like Panang curry, we elected for that (with chicken) for our third dish. This was very tasty and I recommend it. Was not too spicy, but had the perfect bit to cool you off (weird how that is, but that IS how it works). Topped it off with a large Singha, which really rounded out my meal. The wait staff was pleasant and seemed busy. It still looks like they are having growing pains and I will definitely revisit.
(4)Melody A.
The food was good but I won't be coming or ordering from this place anymore after I overheard my waitress make fun of me to her coworker after I tried to clarify what was in the bag she brought to me. I knew the bag that she brought to me did not contain both of the dishes that I had ordered & had paid for. Disappointing...it took away from the simple pleasure of a nice meal. Would suggest to management to advise their staff not to insult their patrons.
(2)Dee W.
Great service & yummy food....been wondering if this place was good for awhile. FINALLY stopped in for a early dinner. LOVE LOVE LOVE the mason jar glasses. Can't wait to go back & try more items
(4)Rene A.
Awesome food. Good service! Very nice staff! Its not much to look at on the outside but it's what's on the inside that counts! You are pleasantly surprised by how clean looking it is. It's walking distance for us so we'll be regulars im sure! Not too bad on the pricing too.
(5)Rel O.
+Cleanliness +Freshness +Plating +Décor/Setting ~Flavors (some were extremely good and some were extremely bland) -Slow/Unfriendly Service -Pricey (more than most but not too cray) -Portions -Don't recommend to-go orders (rude/rush-y)
(3)Gabby B.
This place was really nice, I was excited about the free Thai ice tea when you check in here so right away I was very excited. The wonton soup was tasty and my favorite dish was their spicy panang curry and their delicious pad thai. I've had better pad see ew but maybe they just had an off night, it could of been better. Prices were reasonable and the service was great.
(3)Rethalma Y.
Came here before about a year ago and asked to make my meal Spicer than usual they made it so hot couldn't eat it (take out), Gave another chance. Must try them Golden Bag Delicisios wonton wrap like mini meat pies but elegant. The Pineapple FR Mix Veggie was a mix of flavors that were exquisite. I felt the drink mugs were off somehow country and Asian crashed???
(4)Sardine C.
Anyone who voted 4 stars or less is a filthy liar. But seriously, Nayada Thai is excellent spot for Thai food. I can't claim that I've tried any more than 4-5 things on their menu, but what I have eaten has always been excellent. Tom yum - yummy! Tom ka gai - coconutalicious! Pad Thai - a little on the sweet side, but great stuff! Yellow curry - they get it right! I do have one complaint however: they have a tendency to under-heat (in terms of spicy heat) their food. I feel like when you order very spicy they make it "white people hot". I want...nay, I NEED my face to melt like the guy that opened the ark of the covenant in Indiana Jones! I just want them to know that some of us Laowai can take the heat! One solution to this: they can and will happily provide you with a spice tray to heat it up on your own. So that helps. I must also take a moment to address the staff. They've always been super friendly and extremely attentive and are deserving of big tips! If you happen to be a slob who is cheap with tips go somewhere else like Buffalo Wild Wings where you'll fit in better.
(5)Mae H.
Service was slow realllly slow. However they had great lunch specials for a great price. All the food we ordered had great flavor and was delicious.
(3)Veronica M.
If I could put 10 stars I would. We always come here, and you can never go wrong with pad thai or pad see ew ! The staff are my favorite, always so friendly and they already know our order. I love this place sooo much.
(5)George S.
Well, I've been driving past this place for years and just never felt like eating there. Maybe the Universe was trying to tell me something. Upon entering, the place looked clean and neat but the uncouth guy at the counter was on the phone and didn't even acknowledge us as we stood there for at least five minutes. It wasn't even crowded. Finally a waitress stopped and took our order for take out. I ordered the items I usually enjoy when ordering Thai. The word "lackluster" comes to mind when trying to describe the flavor in these dishes. It's a sediment my whole family shared while eating. Quite frankly I'm surprised it's survived so many years. My only explanation would be that maybe the crowd that keeps this place open is the same crowd that keeps Home Town Buffet open. Won't be back. If you want great Thai food, go elsewhere.
(2)John D.
All can say is delicious! Great service, food was prepared nicely, and didn't wait long.
(5)Winnie L.
Always wanted to try this restaurant after we got out of Walmart, finally did and it was very good. We ordered chicken pad thai, chicken panang, bbq chicken and of course thai tea.... the only thing is that if you want to make the pad thai or panang with beef or shrimp is $1 more.... i understand for the shrimp, but in other places they don't charge you for the beef choice. But overall good food, and spacious restaurant.
(4)Carolina L.
My favorite thai food place, I drive 35 min just to eat here. They're service is great, and always clean. My favorites are pad Thai, Tom kha Kai coconut soup. Everything is great! Worth it
(5)Liz N.
Main points: good thai tea in mason jars and yummy papaya salad. We went here on a recommendation. The food was good and the service was tip-top. They do separate checks for a party of seven so that is awesome. We ordered the tom kha kai, pad see ewe, and papaya salad. I had the papaya with shrimp, which was good. My friend had the papaya with chicken and no complaints. The guys wafted down their pad see ewe. I never had a tom kha kai, but perhaps I am more of a tom yum soup person. It had a strong coconut flavor to it. Wanted to try the mango and sweet rice dessert, but we had a bbq to go to afterwards. Let me know how you like it so I may try it when I return.
(4)Kay Kay Eye E.
Satay was very well marinated. Peanuts sauce and cucumber salad were good, fresh, bright. Panang curry, pla kong salad, and thai fried rice. All very tasty. We ordered the dishes spicy, but only the pla koong was noticeably spicy. Nothing chiles and fish sauce or vinegar can't remedy. The service was friendly and attentive. It's the best thai in the area, hands down.
(4)Nancy F.
Lunch portions are small, flavor was good. Service was okay. Compared to other Thai places that I've tried this place is not authentic. The Tom Yum shrimp that I had did not have enough shrimp. Service was okay.
(3)Lena H.
Nayada Thai....formerly Tantalizing Thai has not lost any of its appeal. We last visited the restaurant whilst it has its former name and rather enjoyed the food. This time around we ordered the chicken Panang curry, Pad Kee Mao, Tom Yum Koong, and for appetizer Thai Spring Rolls. So, where to begin but with a mouth fool of drool! Wowy WOW WOW!! I can't find anything bad less mediocre about the food, the service or the place. The service 5 stars, fast, efficient, effective, tentative and friendly. The restaurant 5 stars clean, nicely decorated without overwhelming the eye. And the food can I do 6 stars??? I'm not much of a curry fan but when I tasted my husband's chicken curry I nearly broke out into tears of joy. It was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. I was a bit skeptical at first as it contains coconut juice and I've found that often too much coconut does not make for a better tasting dish; but at Nayada they have discovered the perfect amount to give that umfff! The soup, fabulous! I love me some lemon grass soup and here too they do not overwhelm the palate with extra citrus taste....by this time tears are rolling down my cheeks By the time I got to the noodles I was in complete delectable bliss. The noodles were nice and firm and not soggy as I've experienced in other places. The vegetables also had a nice crush and fresh feel. My taste buds reached Nirvana! and the angels cried.....as did I
(5)Jonathan R.
I love the pa Thai that is amazing and also the beef plus the Thai tee butt I feel like they need to have more food
(4)Mendel Y.
Wow in my opinion this place is so over rated. Had the chicken pad Thai, Kra pow chicken and combo fried rice as a take out tonight. The servings were small and to make matters worse the food was incredibly bland. I have no idea about the other reviewers, but thought that they were maybe reviewing in comparison to the last place that was there? No idea. If asked, I would go to Panda Express before going here again.
(2)Carmen C.
Absolutely the best Thai food I've ever eaten! Good service. Singha served in frosted glasses. Incredible beef salad and BBQ pork. I highly recommend it. Thai Iced Tea to die for.
(5)Mark R.
The food was good. Portions were a good size. Now what makes this place really great is the service. Our server, Gina, was simply the "BEST" always taking care & attentive. Thank goodness my friend, Nat, found this diamond in the rough.
(5)Rosalinda R.
Been coming here for a while now. Great service, friendly staff. Cute kids plate. I have tried plenty of Thai places but I really enjoy their coconut soup, the pad see eww chicken, chicken satay. My bf loves the yellow curry. And recently we introduce my daughter to their food. She loves the chicken in the soup and loves the pad see ew noodles. I highly recommend this place!!!
(5)Mister Y.
good prices, great tasting food, nice atmosphere (better than most Thai places) the service was a bit slow but that was likely because it was a Sunday afternoon. We had the Pad See Ew and the lettuce wraps - both were excellent. Can't wait to try their phad thai. We definitely we'll be back.
(4)Ray L.
Happy that it has been re-opened. Have been waiting to eat here. Best Mango Delicious and Crying Tiger Steak. To many foods to mention
(4)Chanel K.
Quick Comments: good atmosphere, clean food, great customer service. Food: The Pad Thai is decent, as is the Pad See Ew. The Pineapple Fried Rice was pretty good. These three dishes tasted very clean. Would definitely come again. It's just not something that stands out from other good Thai places.
(4)Judy S.
This place is so nice. I love the atmosphere. It feels so clean. They use mason jars for their water glasses and it's so cute! Their food is so good! I love their pad Thai. Their servings are smaller than most restaurants but it's still worth going.
(4)Suzie M.
Do not order online here. Good food but they put you through hell and customer service obviously is not their priority
(2)Christopher T.
Do not order delivery!!! They use a 3rd party online order company that gets the order wrong, Nayada then acknowledges the order "may" be incorrect and just adjusts the price. The disappointment comes when you order take out for convenience of not leaving your home, also because you ha e a craving, and then you receive something different. The delivery person credited my card the difference but I had to argue with him before any kind of resolution was met. I will NOT be ordering take out or dine in from them again.
(1)Akisha B.
So fellow yelpers complain ahout the slow service, perhaps you should go on a weeknight, like I did. Service was quick. I have grown to like Thai food and have officially made it one of my favorite cultural food. The food here tastes fresh and has a rich flavor. I will definitely come back again.
(5)Rose A.
I haven't had anything I didn't like yet here. I usually call in and just pick up my food and pig out at home but I did get a chance to eat at the restaurant and we were pleased with the experience. My friend and I ordered a bunch of food and we grubbed down. This is what we had: Angel Wings: Heavenly. What I love about Thai food is the presentation is so beautiful and looks so complicated. There's no way they just whip this up, is there? The wings come out and they are so crispy and tasty and lovely. Then, there's the sauce...YUM! P.S. I've order this to go before, and they always pack them so they are just as yummy and crispy and still hot when you get home! Tom Yum with shrimp: YUM! The soup is so flavorful and there was plenty of good sized shrimp. It was delicious. Spring Rolls: So so good. The wrappers and everything else just taste fresh and good and I love drowning these suckers in the sauce it comes with. Yellow Curry with chicken: Again, delicious! The curry was so tasty and had a good kick. I think we ordered it medium spicy. It's good they give you the option! I'm no curry expert but this was damn good! Golden Bags: I'm not a fan of pork but these little crispy bags were delicious! So was the sauce. I like sauce. What can I say? Chicken Larb: Delish. It's Larb. I just like saying it. I don't know to explain it. It's like the stuff that goes in your chicken lettuce wraps? Very tasty. Mango with Sticky Rice: OMG sooooooooooooooooo gooooooooooood. I say the food here is better than Panvimarn and cheaper. The interior definitely doesn't have the ambience of Panvimarn damn that's why there's take-out! And you can afford get more food!
(4)Phan V.
Horribly slow service dine in and pick up. I called in an order for two noodle dishes 40 minutes ago and its still not ready. I was quoted a pick time of 15-20 minutes. There wasn't even an apology when the food finally came out. Definitely don't come here unless you have time to waste.
(1)Candace G.
Had take out from here a couple of weeks ago, the food was SO good! Only downfall was, they forgot our order. My husband and I waited over 40 mins to pick up the order, the employees felt horrible and they gave us beer and sparkling sake on the house. I will definitely be back but this time, I think we will dine in. If you like Thai food, I totally suggest you check this place out.
(4)Charlie C.
My review is going to be based on my experience today. For lunch, I decided to splurge...rib eye lunch special (not really special @ $10.50 for a few slices of beef), and an order of chicken satay (very small short sticks...). The crying tiger rib eye is a famous steak dish that is commonly made "medium rare" (the only way to eat steak in my opinion). Upon ordering, the server asked me how I liked my steak...I then preceded to say "medium rare". 20+ minutes later, I get my entree which unfortunately came out well done. I tried my best to ignore the mishap and try to enjoy my meal. Many of you may understand that medium rare and well done carries a tremendous contrast in texture and taste. after eating a few pieces (of the few pieces I had), I could not help but stop eating it. I called for the server and mentioned the mishap. I even told him that I didn't want a new plate, my only goal was to let them know that they messed up. What bothers me is the chef knew it was to be medium rare, but after cooking it, and sending it out well done...they probably were just hoping that I wouldn't notice? And just eat it? What they should have done was see the mishap and correct it prior to sending it out. As thin as the beef was, it shouldn't take more than 5-7 min for a retake (of course coming out and owning up to it would have made me respect them enough to give them another few minutes). Or...after knowing the mishap and knowing that I didn't want another retake, AND noticing that I left 4 out of 7 or 8 pieces of beef on the plate...giving a $2-$3 off price adjustment would have been a nice touch. I meal came out to $23 (after tip...yes I still tipped, though not as high as I normally would have). The price adjustment wouldn't of changed my life...it's just the principle. All in all...I am giving two stars instead of one because everybody is very nice there.
(2)Cara C.
It's solid, inexpensive Thai food. I really liked the mango fish because it was a really unusual dish that had tons of flavor. The yellow curry was good as was the chicken larb. A lot of the dishes are around $8 and are plenty to share as well. The noodles were tasty as well. The boyfriend really liked their Thai tea. Service was very friendly and the place was cute.
(4)Branyn B.
I'm pretty disappointed with the service. I ordered for delivery last night when I was home sick, and received a call an hour after placing my order saying they had somehow overlooked it. Ok, mistakes happen. I just wanted my food at that point so I decided to wait an additional 45 mins for my food. When I got it, I was disappointed. The food was bland. I got the orange chicken and pad Thai and it was barely spicy. I wish they had at least discounted my meal for the time I spent waiting for the lackluster food.
(2)Sev T.
We love it! discovered it a few months ago Clean, great services and amazing food!
(5)Ashton C.
My first time here and it was awesome. The food is amazing. I had the Pad se Lew with beef and extra veggies. It was great. Totally hit the spot. I had mine medium spice but you could go all the way!!! My friend had the ginger beef and she liked it so much she ordered one to go!! The only downside was the service. We had to flag down the waiter each and every time :/. The prices are way way reasonable and the menu is huge! I think it is well worth the drive to Lakewood!
(4)Steven M.
This joint used to be "Tantalizing Thai"...new ownership so decided to check it out. Appetizer of "Thai Triangles"...even though they are rectangles lol...still delicious! Green curry was fresh and yummy, stir fried asparagus had a great gravy on it that tasted like it had some fish sauce or something in it...very good! BBQ pork was good and wife loved it... I didn't really like the flavoring of the sauce (sour)...but, wife loved it so I gotta give it props since she is the true "foodie" of our family. Service was prompt, friendly, and very good IMO. Other reviewers didn't like the service, but, our experience was spot on! Good value, Good food, Good service...so we will be back! By the way...try the mango and sticky rice for dessert........DROOL!
(4)Melissa J.
My review will strictly be on what I ordered: Lamb Masaman - LOVED this. I am a huge fan of masaman curry and while many are overly sweet, this had just the right amount of sweetness to spice. The lamb was tender and moist with just the right amount of chew. The curry was thick, rich, and velvety. The lamb and curry just went so well together. Panang Curry - I have to say, panang curry is typically my #1 curry choice at any Thai restaurant. This particular one however I didn't care too much more. There was this odd lingering aroma/taste of black licorice, which I have never tasted before in the many panang curries I have had the opportunity of trying. Not that it was a bad thing, but I didn't expect it. Not the greatest, but definitely not the worst. Pad Se Ew - Who isn't a sucker for pad se ew. This is a staple for me at any Thai restaurant. Not too oily with just the right balance of spices. Just how pad se ew should taste. OVERALL: Always pass by this place and I'm glad I gave it a whirl. It was worth every penny. Like I always say, YOU WON'T KNOW UNLESS YOU TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!
(4)Kas C.
This used to be my favorite Thai restaurant in the Long Beach area. I always assumed that Thai food was always way better in the greater Long Beach area than Orange County because of the large Thai population in Long Beach... Unfortunately, I went to a Thai restaurant in Huntington Beach that blew this place out of the water, so I am going to have to change my rating to a 4. Sorry, Nayada. Everything is better in OC, even the Thai food apparently. Don't get me wrong, this is still one of the better Thai restaurants in Long Beach. I've had all of their curries and all of their big flat rice noodle dishes, and their sauces are rich in flavor and zest. However, it didn't occur to me until eating at this Huntington Beach Thai place, just what kind of cheap quality pork Nayada uses in comparison. Their pork slices are really thin, and taste like cheap-quality shabu shabu meat. Granted, the prices at Nayada are cheaper, so I suppose they have to save money on revenue somehow. Sorry Nayada. I still love you and will come to you occasionally whenever I am in the area. Your sauces are sublime, but perhaps you can invest in some better-quality meat in the future?
(4)Brittany T.
This place is amazing . Food is great and reasonably priced . Delivery is also pretty quick. Definitely recommending to anyone in the area.
(4)Alex C.
This place is way under rated, the food is freakin awesome! Very good. I actually frequent this place almost once a week haha
(5)Ken C.
I order from this restaurant often. I really enjoy their tantalising eggplant and also their asparagus. I've tried the green papaya salad and must admit as a vegetarian option it lost a lot in flavour translation. The spring rolls always arrive crisp and hot. Definitely worth eating at. Good for a local delivery.
(4)Clarissa T.
This is one of our favorite restaurants. I love coming here for ANY of their curries, all of them are different, but all of them have such warm and complex flavor profiles that leaves you wanting more. The tom kha kai soup is also one of our favorite menu items. We always order it with extra veggies instead of with chicken. The staff here has always been accommodating and friendly. 5 stars, no hesitation.
(5)Anthony N.
It's okay... Its designed really nicely. The bathroom was really nice. lol We only came here because it was a Saturday night and everywhere else we called had a long ass wait. It wasn't gross, but it wasn't good either. My friend thoroughly enjoyed the beer tower....Pretty good deal since it comes with an appetizer... Nothing else to report....blllaaaahhh
(3)Nicole S.
This place is wonderful - I have been going since they opened! The interior is very sophisticated and beautifully decorated. The food is always fresh and delicious! My personal favorites include yum nua, pad Thai, shrimp summer rolls, crying tiger steak, and the Thai style tempura. They are well priced, have take out, and also deliver. Would definitely recommend!
(5)Wendy P.
Food was A-mazing & service was great! The only downfall was the wait, took a little long to serve. Other than that I recommend it! :)
(4)Diego G.
Ok.. so this place seems classy, the food is good... Servers could have been more attentive though. Wait! There was a young lady, didn't get her name but, she seemed enthused and informative, anyways,I usually get the pad kee moa anywhere I go and personally, I don't like the lettuce tucked under the noodles. I asked for the spicyness to be right under medium and seemed like it was right over medium... First impression is your last, sometimes!... We might be back, we'll see... Oh thanks for the free Thai tea.
(4)Wendy S.
Go here all the time. The food is delish, the staff couldn't be friendlier and you MUST try the Crying Tiger Steak!!
(5)Dee C.
Best Thai restaurant I've found in my area thus far. I've withheld the fifth star due to the following reasons: -portions are too small -charges extra for beef???!! Other than that... the food is great. I've tried the kra pow, pad-see-ew and beef salad. Perhaps if I dined in the portions would've been better? Both times I did take-out/delivery. They included complimentary Thai tea with my order which was a bonus too!
(4)Kerry K.
The Pad Thai and Rad Na lunch specials were tasty, and coming with soup or salad and a small ice cream dessert, we're a well-priced, economical deal. However, service was slow and our waitress messed up my order. Still, not a bad deal, and conveniently next to everything in the LB Towne Center
(3)James P.
I have been eating here for over 3 years and absolutely love this place! The Penang curry is amazing! Crying tiger, tangy BBQ pork, cashew chicken and nam sod are also fantastic. If you're looking for a great thai restaurant this is it.
(5)M.K. P.
We frequent this Thai restaurant. Our go-to dishes are the pad-see-ew noodles, the crying tiger steak (love the sauce that goes with it), and the panang or yellow curry. Thai iced tea isn't cheap, but it's tasty when I feel like getting something other than water. It always seems dead in the restaurant, which makes us wonder how it stays in business, but they also do pick-up and delivery. We rarely ever have to wait for a table and the staff is always polite and prompt. I recommend this restaurant if you feel like Thai food.

I paid my first visit to Nayada Thai this evening, and I was pleasantly surprised across the board! I'm a huge fan of green curry with chicken and jasmine rice. I can't tell you how many thai restaurants I've been to that serve "regular" white rice instead of jasmine rice. And while I'm at it, I can't tell you how disappointing it is to try and enjoy a green curry dish when the consistency is too watery, or overly thickened. Nayada's green curry was really, really good... great chicken pieces, fresh vegetables, a perfect consistency, and yes... real jasmine rice! They definitely serve you a stout portion of the money. In fact, compared to a few other places I've favorited in the past, I believe Nayada is less costly per dish. I can't speak of the traffic through this place during lunch hours, but during dinner hours it seemed to have an influx of take-out patrons, over dine-in. Although I was only one of two customers seated, the atmosphere was nice and service was professional and prompt. I am definitely going to pay another visit soon, and expand my eating adventures with some other favorites now that they've ran the gauntlet. Can't wait! Mahalos for reading! :)

Their food is very good but they're challenged when it comes to taking orders over the phone. Half the time the line is busy or it takes you to their fax number or they just don't answer at all.But like I said, the food is usually quite good and you should try it for sure.
(5)Crystal G.
I've eaten at the restaurant and gotten delivery once, both times I was quite pleased. They have all of the traditional things you'd expect to see on a Thai menu, but they seem to add a unique flair to their dishes. Very tasty!
(5)Meow W.
I love this place. The food is great and the Spring Rolls are to die for. The reason why I gave them 5 stars is that the portions are a little small. Mango sticky rice is good but nothing beats their coconut ice cream.
(4)Adrian C.
Solid Thai food, with good delivery. The food has been good, but nothing thus far has amazed me. However 'consistently good' is enough to keep us ordering from them in the future, and their delivery is reliable. This could have been a 3 star review, but I went with 4 because of their consistency, pleasant service, and nice clean restaurant.
(4)Susan F.
Very good! We got delivery. Hot and wonderful. The chicken satay is so good with peanut sauce and cucumber salad. Loved the Pad Thai. Good fried rice with big shrimp. They included a free small appetizer. Nice. We will order delivery again for sure and will try going there too.

Crab Fried Rice & Chicken Pad Thai...hands down thee most delicious I have ever tasted! Any Thai restaurant I go to from Decatur, Georgia to San Francisco, California I order these same items and they can never compare. I have ordered several other dishes and their food is always fresh, mouth watering, and delicious! The food does take quite awhile (whether you dine in or take out) but I believe it is always worth the wait. My favorite dishes to order are: Shrimp tempura, chicken satay, crab fried rice, mango delicious catfish, chicken pad thai, and their fried banana dessert.
(5)Michele R.
Once again food was excellent and cheaper than most Thai places. I always fine their food fresh and tasty. Sometimes service is a bit slow but nothing major. I eat twice a week so you know I love it!
(5)Julie P.
Their lunch specials are really inexpensive. I ordered the Peppered Beef. It was ok. I would definitely go back to try something else. They also give you a free scoop of coconut ice cream. That's a plus.
(3)Coy T.
Beautiful restaurant, nicely appointed and upscale. We ordered summer rolls, veg yellow curry and tofu pad Thai-all of which were fresh and delicious. Service was friendly and excellent as our server checked on us several times. Definitely my local favorite! Oh they have above average selection and very reasonable prices of bottled beer. Kinda strange and somewhat downgrades their upscale atmosphere with the giant beer towers, but I never claimed to be a high-roller anyhow.
(5)Ernie D.
This is the best Thai food I've had in a restaurant setting. Been to many Thai restaurants and nothing else comes close. The chicken is fresh and the flavors are out of this world. Make sure too try the sauteed eggplant and the crab fried rice. Hats off to Sue and her staff!
(5)Maureen M.
Love love love love love this place. Nayada is a fantastic choice for good Thai food. The Drunken Noodles are spicy and wonderful. We had Pad Prik Khing with pork that was perfectly seasoned without overcooked green beans. Do yourself a favor and order the Nam Sod. I'd never had this dish before and it was stunning in both flavors and textures. It's like a chicken wrap, but served instead with cabbage leaves and pork. Amazing. I love this place so much we visited twice within a week. I almost collapsed with happiness upon finding out that they deliver. Ever call Panvimarn and try to place a take out or delivery order? Pfffft. You're more likely to get cannolis from Ferrara's in Little Italy hand delivered before Panvirman will get around to you. Prices are reasonable and the servers are very attentive, courteous and down right NICE. I could eat here everyday.
(4)Jeremy V.
We have been going there for about 3yrs. New owner with upgrades throughout. Awesome food. Always look forward to going there.
(5)Rachel Q.
Absolutely delicious authentic Thai food. I always order delivery. It is always delicious and hot. I live this place!
(5)Margaret T.
I wish this place was more close to home because I seriously would eat here all the time! Crying tiger ... So tender!!! Everywhere else seems to half ass their crying tiger or SOMETHING but Nayada should get a medal or something!!! The beef was so juicy and tender you could cut it with your fork. I seriously did not think crying tiger was supposed to taste like this... I feel jipped from life ALLL these years! First time here and had a wonderful experience. Staff was super friendly and you get a free Thai iced tea w/ check in. I was skeptical because it was free but it was really good! Also got the fried tofu, crab Rangoon type things (forgot what it was called here) and garlic fish.... Loved them all! Atmosphere is great! Def coming back but this time bringing more friends !
(5)Alexson L.
I have to thank the owner at Pho Hong Phat for recommending this place. Nayada Thai is good Thai restaurant with hints of upscale plating at not-so-upscale prices. If you've seen my other reviews (or my Thai Fix list!), I eat at a lot of Thai restaurants, and most of them usually have a few dishes that stand out from the others. At Nayada Thai, I'm a fan of their seafood dishes and the fried banana ice cream (FBI). Their pad thai is one of the better i've tasted as well. I still need to try their popular Crying Tiger Steak. Their service is pretty average; friendly, but fairly slow and not that attentive.
(4)Tommy T.
Probably my favorite Thai restaurant in Long Beach - and that's say a lot given how much we have to choose from. It's a great location - easy to find parking and the vibe inside the restaurant is very pleasant. Food is excellent and service is outstanding.
(4)David L.
Food is decent but truly disappointed in the slow service. To Nayada Thai. Please read the comments. Slow service will contribute to your demise which is a shame since your food is not bad.
(2)Planted S.
Wow, really yummy food. Just writing this, I'm craving the crab fried rice. I have no idea what is in that rice, but you have to try it!!! Mango stick rice was still available - Yummy!!! Everything we had was wonderful and the service was so attentive. Will definitely be back!
(5)Chel R.
Came here for the first time for my nieces and nephews birthday celebration some time last month. Its a cozy spot located in a small plaza. Since it was a party reserved for 40 plus people, one would anticipate more of an organized and thought-out event. Unfortunately, this was not the case for this gathering. The service was indeed slow. Took forever to get our water and thai iced tea for drinks. Forget about asking for seconds. That took about another 20 minutes. The menu was Meh... The only think I really liked was their crab/cream cheese wonton and their mangos. The other usual thai dishes served was Chicken Curry, Grilled or braised beef? And I forget the rest. Honestly, they weren't even worth remembering. Im sorry. I have eaten at plenty of thai places and this joint just didn't make the cut. Combined that with really slow service, I will probably not be back.
(2)Ana H.
We always get great service when we eat at the restaurant or order take-out. The remodeled decor inside is more modern than the previous Tantalizingly Thai. Their pad Thai is always on point as well as the chicken pad prik king and yellow curry. Sometimes the Thai lime iced tea is a good choice, especially on hot days. I definitely recommend this place. I only wish they had beef satay as well (only have chicken).
(5)Jonathan T.
This is by far one of our favorite restaurants to dine out at. The servers here are always so helpful and friendly. The quantity and quality of food for the price can't be beat. One of our favorite menu items is the Tom Kha Kai soup, and we order a pot to share every time we go. Definitely try this place out!
(5)Ms. K M.
Love it...Food is so good with reasonable price freshly made each time and authentic staff super friendly...
(5)Anne G.
The rad na, panang curry, crying tiger, and summer rolls are fantastic here! My family and I came on a Tuesday night and we were one of the few parties. The service was quick and the servers were extremely friendly. We had a really great experience! According to one of the servers, MONDAY nights = 15% off the bill.
(5)Lynn U.
This used to be Tantalizingly Thai. I came here for a business meeting on Thursday night. They gave us a spacious table as requested. The music was not loud at all which was ideal for the meeting. Food: Crispy Garlic Wings - Very good! A filling appetizer. The chicken was just rightly fried, crisp and juicy. Pad Thai - Very tasty! Had all the element for a good Pad Thai! Fresh noodles, fresh vegetables, chicken. The serving size is smaller than expected but still was able to make me full. The only reason why I did not give 5 starts is because with other Thai restaurants I've been to have bigger serving size and would not be fair to them. Crying Tiger Steak - Tender and juicy! I liked it without the sauce because it was already tasty however the sauce is also good. Came with free rice! During our dinner, a person on a wheelchair went to the bathroom and shortly after we heard a loud crash. The waiters rushed to help the person who turned out to be okay. Needless to say they were very helpful and accommodating. You get quality food for decent price, not expensive at all. You will surely enjoy the visit.
(4)Colleen W.
Lunch was good. We started with the summer rolls with dipping sauces. The sauces were delicious. I had the Mongolian beef. The meat was tender and the sauce was flavorful. Also sampled were the sweet and sour, chicken and the pork and the mixed vegetables lunches. The lunches are reasonably priced and come with soup or salad. We each got a small bit of ice cream to end the meal. I tried the Cabernet with lunch and it was very nice and smooth with my beef. Cute interior too....our only complaint was service..... we waited for many things. They seemed a bit under- staffed if you ask me.
(3)Bianca V.
The food here is good. And they deliver. The people are nice and the quality is fresh. The establishment is clean and if you order to go, they serve you water while you wait. Nice hidden jem.
(5)Ann Q.
I've come here only during their lunch specials, so I can't complain about the service since it's always on a weekday afternoon when it isn't busy at all. For less than $10 you can get a soup or salad, pad thai (or about 7-10 selected menu items), and a dessert. I did notice that the soup, salad, and dessert are smaller portions than what they use to be, but still a good price for everything.
(4)Holly O.
Apparently if you don't ask for the lunch special when calling in an order, they will charge you for an entree portion. Regardless if you specifically mention you are looking for a small portion size, no salt, steamed white chicken...really?
(3)Michelle R.
The food was good (not great) and the service was awful! I went on a Friday night after a movie, and there must be a sign above mine and my date's head that said "ignore them". We waited 20 minutes (we timed it) before they took our order or offered us drinks. The only reason we didn't walk out was it was 8 pm, we were starving, and the thought of finding a new place to eat was not motivating. I had the bbq chicken which was tasty but my thigh was cold in the middle. My date had the crying tiger, and it was tasty but small portions. We never got our drinks refilled, and when our table was completely bare, they still didnt' offer us dessert or (don't laugh) our check!
(2)Jennifer H.
On a whim, I decided to get lunch here. I ordered takeout, and tried the lunch special pad see ew and a Thai iced tea. The outside of this establishment is unremarkable, but the inside is actually very nice. The decor was a lot fancier than I thought it would be. My order was ready promptly, and the employees were nice and friendly. Upon opening the container, there was a good sized serving of pad see ew wrapped in foil. It took up the large part of the container. One of the small sections contained the salad that I selected instead of soup. It was nothing special, mostly iceberg lettuce, with shredded carrot and red cabbage, a few slices of tomato and cucumber. A small cup of yellowish dressing was next to it. The dressing was kind of a vinaigrette...tasty, but I still wish I got the soup. My Thai iced tea was delicious. The pad see ew was very tasty too.The noodles weren't too greasy or soupy, and included good amounts of chicken and pieces of Chinese broccoli. In all, I would definitely like to eat here again. I think next time, I'd dine in though. The lunch specials include a scoop of ice cream if you eat in! I'd also get the soup instead of the salad. I will be here again.
(4)Dan M.
The restaurant changed owners a couple years ago, but the food remains great. Best dishes include the Crying Tiger Steak and the Tantalizing Eggplant. Love the mango with sweet sticky rice for dessert, too. Service is inconsistent. Sometimes it's OK, but can often be a little slow. The ambiance is very plain and dull (some cheap decorations and a couple of flat screen TVs) and the restaurant is located in a little strip mall across the street from the Long Beach Town Center. However, we keep coming back because the food is so good.
(4)Ken W.
Great Thai food! I have been going here since it was Tantalizingly Thai. The food is now better, but the service is a little slower. I'm thinking because of they cook the food very fresh...takes a little longer. Anyways, it's the best Thai around.
(4)Rory B.
Nayada Thai, AKA Tantalizingly Thai, is a less traditional more modern Thai place than I usually go to. I discovered this place while living in Hawaiian Gardens which is just down the street. I am a curry head, the spicier the better, and this place really hits the spot when I have a craving for curry. Nayada Thai is one of the few Thai places I've found that serves Masaman curry, which a thick dark curry flavored with peanuts and served with tender stew beef. My personal favorite is the yellow curry with chicken. The pad see ewe is also very tasty with big chunks of brocolli. The hidden gem of this restaurant is a bit unlikely. By far their tastiest dish is their cream cheese wontons. This isn't to say that the food I mentioned before isn't AAA quality, but the quality of the wontons here are what every other restaurant strives to reach. A word of caution, if you are used to other Thai places, make sure that you order everything spicy here. If you don't order it spicy, they don't make it spicy at all. Some of the other reviewers here have complained that the food is bland, and it isn't. Make sure that if they ask if you want it hot, you say medium or higher. The pricing is reasonable as well, especially if you order delivery or take out. If you order $25 or more you get two free Thai Iced Teas, which is also delicious and the best way I've found so far to cool your mouth after spicy curry. If you're in the area, be sure to give this one a try.

Have been looking for a new Thai restaurant since Tiny Thai restaurant closed. I was looking forward to this place because of great reviews. To their benefit it looked as if they were short staffed and the two waiters were hustling. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in the food. Ordered summer rolls they weren't too bad. The Tom Kha soup was bland. We requested med-spicy but there was no spice at all. We also ordered fried rice and wanted all the good tone served at the same time. That didn't happen. We were served the rice by its self after we had finished the summer rolls and soup. I won't be trying this place again. There are too many other Thai restaurants to pick from.
(3)Jay S.
Great Thai restaurant with great food, and portions as well. The staff is very friendly and polite and get a free thai tea if you have a yelp account.
(4)Ritz G.
Simply the best! Service is great, which is just the cherry on top to the amazing quality of their dishes! My favorite is the chicken Pad See Ew, very flavorful, the noodles are not too bland as in most places. Also, try the Crying Tiger, the lime based sauce is to die for! If you're a fan of appetizers go for the lettuce wraps! Very fresh! Not to mention the great beer selection ;-)
(5)Ann Q.
My only complaint is that their service sucks. But overall I think their food is great. My favorite is their Pad See Ew. So fresh, with al dente veggies. It seasoned perfectly and portion wise is fine with me! I'm not a fan of their coconut soup :/ but the ice cream is YUMMY!!!!
(4)Ashley R.
This place is great for a fair price Thai food Joint. We mostly order delivery and the staff has been outstandingly friendly and efficient every time.
(4)Kim W.
Good fresh food, love the BBQ chicken, portions might be small for some but good! Customer service is excellent! Coming back for sure:)
(5)Carrie B.
I've been meaning to write this review for a really long time. I often visit Long Beach/LA on business and I've noticed although the food is good here, that the portions have dwindled to very miniscule. On a recent trip to LA, I went there for dinner. The portion of my noodle dish was ridiculous. Not even enough for one person. Maybe 4-5 bites of noodles, and they just raised their prices. I don't care about the cost, but I don't want to feel ripped off or worse, hungry when I leave. This place used to be really good, with decent size portions. When I've mentioned to one waiter about the portion size, he was very unhelpful and did nothing to remedy the situation. Panvimarn is right down the street and the portion sizes are great for just a bit more money. Places like this need to listen to their customers if they want to stay in business. I'll be going to other Thai restaurants in the area from now on.
(2)Ruthie R.
First time having lunch here and it was above par, superb, excellent customer service, delicious and inexpensive lunch specials with free ice cream and pineapples. The Thai Ice Tea was also on the house just for checking in on yelp. Loved the food presentation on the plates and the drinks in the jars.
(5)Joyce A.
The previous Thai restaurant at this location (Tantalizingly Thai) has transferred both ownership and the menu to the new managers/owners. Really great service especially from our waitress EVE. She is very attentive. Tom Kha Kai with shrimp is a flavorful, rich, but not over-done soup - whole peeled shrimp, mushrooms, coconut milk, and can be done as spicy or mild as you wish. The flat noodle dish also called Pad Kai (?) is well seasoned, just the right texture of chewy and soft, and comes with choice of meat - pork or tender lean beef, chicken or shrimp. It's a drier version of Pad See Ew - that is less gravy. Do get the Mango Catfish - crisp, battered fish, with a sweet-tangy mango relish. My favorite part of this dish are the cashews and red onion slivers that come in it. Pad Prik King is green beans in a spicy sauce - it can be served with your choice of meat or shrimp. Served with sliced bell peppers and basil. Crab Fried rice has a generous serving of lump crab, well seasoned and not greasy rice. Ginger milk tea is a departure from the usual Thai Iced tea or Coffee drinks. Soothing on a cold night.
(4)Soche M.
1st time ordering from here- the best Thai iced tea I've ever had, the food is very genuine, just a few ladyboys short from Thailand.
(4)Michelle A.
This is a great Thai restaurant! The angel wings are a good way to start things off. The service a little slow but didn't phase us. The atmosphere was warm and staff was very friendly. Long story short, you can't go wrong. Our favorites are the Green Curry dish and Pad Thai....We'll be back.
(4)Sopie N.
My search of an AMAZING Thai restaurant maybe over! I have tried many Thai restaurants and I would always find something wrong. I guess you can say I'm a pessimist... Well now I might just be an optimist. This is what was ordered: 1. Panang Curry (medium) with chicken: A-freaking-mazing! Next time I will ask for spicy. 2. Thai fried rice with chicken: great taste and not at all greasy. I normally don't like fried rice, because it's either greasy or bland. 3. Thai baby back ribs: the marinade was so tasteeeee! I had my rice soak in it. The ribs were not at all fatty and were super tender. 4. Garlic Salmon: The flavor had just the right amount of garlic to it and the salmon was cooked just right. Pros: ~Most entrees were served with steamed rice. When the rice was served it came in a big bowl for the whole table. I am not a fan of Asian restaurants where they serve one scoop of rice with your entrée. I am old school when it comes to Asian food. Don get stingy with my rice! ~Serving size was more than enough. For a group of four, there was still food left over. ~The price was superb! ~Décor was nice, place was clean, big screen TVs (had football on), and servers were extremely friendly. I hope this place stays here forever.
(5)Henry A.
Well it's time to update Nayada Thai. The owner Sue is very friendly, she comes around checking with customer making sure everything is alright. I have visited many Thai restaurant and I finally found Nayada Thai is my favorite. She kept the lunch special from previous owner with salad or soup, varieties of entries to select, and a scope of ice cream for desert. She remodel the whole restaurant, it looks very nice, much better than the previous owner. She also has beer & wine license and a bar counter with three flat screen tv. As far as I know she has not increase prices on the menu, that's a plus. On the whole, the restaurant is very cosy, I told her to play Thai music on the background instead of English songs that you hear on radio over and over again, at least it brings the Thai hemisphere feeling. They have a variety of food, my favorites are Pad se yew, rad na, Thai fried rice, tangy BBQ pork, crying tiger, curries and so on so on.... I also noticed that there are a lot of new customers start coming in, I hope she keep up the good work, I frequent there once a week.
(5)Lily S.
I am partial to curry so I tried the halibut curry which I must say, " AWESOME". Can't wait to try the soft shell crab which looks delicious
(5)Kat S.
This was a complete surprise to me. I had 30 minutes to eat and came across the street to this little gem in Lakewood. The interior is modern and clean. We ordered the pad thai and the orange chicken. The pad thai was heavenly and tasty. The orange chicken was so amazing. It was worth losing all my weight watchers points but fuck it. lol. True orange zest and flavor. Our bill was $19.56. Get your ass down here and grub.
(5)Susan P.
Went for a Sat lunch. Four stars for food, two stars timely service. Servers were friendly but customer attention was lacking. With that being said, if you come here, do not be in a hurry AND if you are in a hurry, order take-out. Portions were nice and food was flavorful.
(3)Kim H.
Been to a number of Thai restaurants in the area, but the food has changed and service too. So thought we would try a new place. Glad we chose Nyada. It is located in a strip mall and you can blow right by it if you aren't looking for the place. The inside is decorated tastefully and the mood is always nice. Not loud but not like a library either. Dishes that we like are Pad See Eu, Wonton soup, fried rice, Pad Thai, Chicken Asparagus with Oyster Sauce, Tom Kha soup.....even their home delivery is to notch- food arrives hot and nice portions.
(5)Diane B.
I love their Pad Se Ew with chicken. It's served with broccoli raab instead of regular broccoli and it makes all the difference. It comes mild, but order it spicy. Sometimes I order it with sticky rice on the side. The best! Oh, and get it with a Thai Iced Tea. Your taste buds with thank you.
(5)Danny W.
Food: 3 stars Speed, and catching their cold: 0 stars Been here once. Ordered takeout. Took them over 20 min to cook basic stuff. There was a guy just standing around doing nothing except watching the tv, drinking, and leaving his glass of wine on the bar counter. He would walk to the kitchen every now and then and just stand around. Meanwhile, his sick son (I'm guessing) is sitting at a front table just watching his iPad and coughing excessively while not even covering his mouth. The food is pretty standard, not awful but not great. But the environment was not great when I went, and I ended up getting sick. I guess there is a reason that right down the street panvimarn always has a line of customers and this place was half empty.
(2)Ann C.
I had some soup and a noodle dish. The thing is, it was delicious. You get your choice of protein. The noodle dish was huge and hot and about $9. The problem was the service. I often eat alone and I was greeted with, "can I help you?" Um, yes, you can seat me the way you would anyone else walking in at dinner time. The wait for food was long. I had to ask for a water refill. No on ever checked in to see how my dinner was or to see if I wanted dessert. Of course I do! I'm eating alone on a Saturday night so some green tea ice cream would make me feel better. It was pretty disappointing. I'm feeling generous with the three stars.
(3)Whois J.
The food here is great and the service was great also... though I did order for pickup. Ordered Shrimp Pad Thai and the Angel Wings, good call! I called in my order was told that it would be ready in 15 minutes. I was there in 10 and of course the Angel Wings were still going. No worries I don't mind waiting at this place because the decor is simple yet nice. Plus Big Bang Theory was on the TV and I rather enjoyed that. Anyways the service offered me something to drink while I waited, but I declined because I wasn't particularly thirsty, but it was nice of them to ask. The Angel Wings were nice and light and very good, I would recommend these to anyone. The Shrimp Pad Thai was delicious but what the F@#$@ with the tiny portion here. I am paying $9 for the Pad Thai, it better let two people be able to have a decent tasting of this dish. The portion you got was like one of the entrees ordered on a 2-item to go with white rice at a Chinese point-point shop. And with 5 shrimps just slightly larger than a bay shrimp... Come-on now. Other than the tiny portions, for the pad thai, I would recommend this place. Just remember its like ordering single serving a la carte here at full dinner prices...
(4)Leah R.
Clean modern interior, great service and lunch specials. Pretty plating and delish green curry!! And you get a scoop of ice cream for dessert as part of lunch! Full 3 course meal- I'm stuffed! I will be back! Thanks yelp!
(5)April W.
Love the sticky rice with mango. Good service. I will come back again. ;)
(5)Kassidy L.
I ate here the other night with my friend. The atmosphere is very nice, nicely decorated. There are a lot of items to choose from. I started with the veggie spring rolls, I was disappointed. The rice paper was very thick and hard to chew. I had their pineapple curry which was very delicious, however the bowl that they put the dish in was very small and my soup was spilling out and I couldn't add any rice into it. I got their coconut ice cream, wasn't the biggest fan of it. Good service.
(3)Albert K.
Generally good ambience. Lot of menu selection. But the food was much too sweet for me; caveat, since I have been cooking much more in the last several years, much of food that I eat at restaurants are too sweet for me. I supposed naturally sweet dishes would be okay, but I could taste that additional sugar was added. Not for me. But for those whose taste buds have been numbed by sugary food, would be okay. *I did flick away a small cockroach on my table, but I did ask for a table on the side next to the restroom so that I could watch the US versus Brazil soccer match so I don't dock them too much for that.
(2)Jenny Y.
It is hard to spot this restaurant because it is located in a pretty small center right across from Long Beach town center. However, if you're in the mood for a nice and cozy meal apart from the chaoticness of all the huge restaurants at long beach town center, I suggest this place:) If you have never tried Thai food, this restaurant would be a great place to try. They have a pretty large menu of things from appetizers to entrees. It is very nicely decorated and also very clean. You can tell the owner of this place put their attention on the interior design. Very simple, but clean and cozy. They offer great lunch menu specials that come with a soup or a salad. I ended up getting the beef pad see ew while my friend ordered the panang curry. Both tasted pretty on point like it should have. The service was also very welcoming and attentive. They give this complimentary coconut shaved ice cream at the end which tops off everything! I would definitely come back.
(4)Matthew S.
Lovely authentic Thai cuisine, great relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. I loved the chicken larb, beautifully seasoned and fresh. You can't beat their sweet mango sticky rice. One of the best I have had outside of Thailand!
(5)Hanna L.
Across the street from LBTC lies Nayada Thai with its flashing neon red sign. The outside isn't that pretty and parking is at a 40 car max, but the inside is just too pretty not to experience eating here once. Hate to say it, but the previous car crash did them good. Remodeling done right! What's cool about the place, other than the decor, is if you are celebrating your anniversary or birthday here, they will give you a free coconut ice cream topped with candied pineapple bits. YES! A+++++++++++ Prices range from $8-$20 with standard and new variations of Thai dishes. The favorite of the night was Pad See Ew with Chicken. It was delightfully less oily then expected with no loss in flavor. Cholesterol ftw! I like that the chicken was nice and tender, but was sad to see that they gave very little chicken. The Siam Apple Catfish was not a good choice. Though it came with rice (no extra cost is always an A+ in my book), the dish was too sweet and acidic for the extremely thin fish fillets. Not worth the $$. If I'm ever in the area, I would definitely come back for their lunch specials (comes with salad/soup, ice cream, and rice). Seems like a great deal!
(3)Rodney S.
Thai me up & throw me overboard, I've found another great local eatery that rocks my Bangkok! yelp.com/biz_photos/naya… Formerly Tantalizingly Thai many moons ago, Nayada Thai Cuisine serves up authentic Thai dishes conveniently across Carson Blvd. from the Long Beach Town Centre. Perusing the lunch specials, we decided to go with the chicken satay & pad see ew. Lunch specials come with the choice of soup or salad and...............free mini-scoop of coconut pineapple ice cream!! Rice included as well, except with the noodle dishes. Hot & sour soup- yelp.com/biz_photos/naya… Chicken satay- yelp.com/biz_photos/naya… 3 delicious skewers of chicken, rice, peanut sauce & pickled cucumber & bell pepper. The chicken skewers were tender & tasted delicious with a liberal helping of peanut sauce. Skippy has nothing on Thai peanut sauce, I tells ya! The pickled veggies added a welcome brightness to the dish. Not huge portions, but enough to content. Pad see ew- yelp.com/biz_photos/naya… Great dish! With my choice of protein (pork/beef/chicken/tofu), I decided to go with pork. The wide rice noodles were perfectly chewy, the meat tender & the gailan crunchy. A lot of flavor packed in each bite. My favorite dish this visit. Coconut pineapple ice cream- yelp.com/biz_photos/naya… Coconut ice cream with candied pineapple inside & on top, the mini-scoop was cooling & satisfying. With a dense texture, the ice cream was loaded with coconut flavor & the bits of candied pineapple added contrast & texture. A small portion, but enough to where I didn't feel bad indulging, the coconut pineapple ice cream was a wonderful respite from the heat of the day. Service was good. The restaurant was kinda busy for lunch, so it took awhile for my pad see ew to come out. Our waters were refilled during our meal & the servers were polite when dealing with them. Ample seating via booths & tables. Nayada Thai has an open layout, with 3 flatscreen TV's for your viewing pleasure. The men's restroom was clean, with a pleasing décor. Parking is in a small private lot shared by several businesses. Spaces may be hard to come by, which may facilitate parking across the street at the LB Town Centre by Carl's Jr. & America's Tire. Sawadee krap, Nayada Thai Cuisine! I enjoyed my first visit to your establishment, making sure to take advantage of your lunch specials which include soup or salad & ice cream. Being conveniently located closeby to home, you can bet I'll be back to have a go with the rest of your menu. Until then! Highly recommend! NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM

Love this place! Very fresh and worth the wait. The thai tea is very good. I usually get the lunch special with cashew chicken and salad. Comes with delicious coconut ice cream as dessert. A great deal for around 8 dollars. Also a good item is the chicken lettuce wraps..very fresh. The pineapple rice is also delicious with cashews and fresh pineapple!

We can't get enough of great service, and tonight, this place had it in spades. They had a *large* party, we were informed that the food would take a while. Nevertheless, we got our food fairly quickly, and the waiters were super nice despite being crazy busy. They had bottles of Cupcake (my wife's and my favorite wine brand) for $18 for the Malbec. Can't frikken beat it. I ordered the coconut chicken soup, and it was creamy, thick, and altogether perfect. My wife ordered the Pad Thai, and asked if she wanted it without eggs, which was a first for a Thai restaurant - my wife was going to ask for that given that she's not a fan of eggs - beat us to it. I also ordered the combo seafood stir-fry (the exact name escapes me). It was AMAZING. Great sauce, and *quality* seafood, including scallops, mussels, octopus, and fried fish. The bill was $46 - great for the food that we got. The atmosphere is also fantastic. We happened to be on a date night, but it has an open floor plan and just makes you feel comfortable, so we figured (based on the other children in there), that it'd also be a good place to bring our son. We're looking forward to going back and making this a regular spot.

Really good. Gotta try the Basil Fried Rice!

The good - their pad thai is the to die for. I really think its one of the top 5 pad thais I've had, and I eat a lot of pad thai. Flavorful, moist, good texture. Its a little on the small side portion wise. I've tried their green curry and pad won sen, and they were merely okay. Not bad, just okay. But the think that would really make me not want to go back is the service. I ordered take out. They told me 15-20 minutes. No problem. I get there at the fifteen mark and am happy to wait the extra five. But its not just an extra five, and its an extra 20. If it was going to take them 35 minutes, just tell me that. That's the whole point of calling in your take out order, so you don't have to sit there. But that's not the part that actually got me angry. Its the fact they didn't say anything about it. I finally had to get up and ask if they forgot about my order. No "Oh, so sorry, we're running behind". No "hey, can we get you a thai iced tea while you wait". I was sitting right in front of two employees and I got no acknowledgement of the fact that I was sitting there bored for twenty minutes. I didn't think to bring a book because they told me it would be ready. And you know what was worse, I was starving! Note: Didn't eat in, but the decor is nice. Not a hole in the wall. Its the kind of place you could take a date.

I had dinner at the "Nayada Thai" in Lakewood, CA on 9/13/2012. It was my 2nd time there. This time I had the drunken noodles (beef) for $8.95 and had hot jasmine tea for $1.50. The food was great and I had excellent service from the waitress, Nikki. Also the restroom was the prettiest that I've seen other than the Madonna Inn - quite a surprise.

When this was Tantalizingly Thai it was a decent place to go but now it's not that great. Service is slow, even when there's only a couple of people in the place and when I have had food delivered, something always gets mixed up. If you have a craving for Thai, skip this place and go to Panvimarn.
(2)Phyrun D.
Having not been here for quite some time, I never knew the place changed. The last time I was at this location it was called "Tantalizing Thai." So my review is based on my experience before the change, even though it is still Thai themed. From what I remember of this place, is that the service was great. Kind, very welcoming. I believe at the time it was a older Caucasian male, probably around his 60's who was always there greeting customers as they came in. His wife was Thai as well as the chefs and waiters/waitresses. Very clean establishment and the location of it is somewhat hidden. Not many people know of this place, that is the main reason why I tried and continue to go there. Service was good. Nothing spectacular but nothing horrible. The food was great. I like to base the majority of my Thai restaurant experiences on their Pad Thai. It's not a difficult dish to make, so if a Thai restaurant (especially since they have Thai chefs) can make a great Pad Thai, then they are alright in my book. If the Pad Thai is horrible... looks like they need some work. I do recommend this location, very quiet, and clean. AGAIN, this review is based on my experience when it was "Tantalizing Thai" I hope to return to this newly "Nayada Thai" and experience it for myself. I will review once I get to try their Pad Thai. ;)

Went here for dinner tonight with my girlfriend. To start off we had the Chicken Satay. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and was seasoned awesome too. My only complaint is that for 7-8 bucks i would expect a little more chicken then the skimpy skewers we got. For entrees, i got a Chicken Pad Thai and she got their Ribs. The chicken pad thai tasted strange with my first bite, but after i mixed it it was definitely one of the better pad thais i've had in my life. My girlfriends ribs were strange, as the first two were dry and not very good. The other 6 or so ribs were delicious though, and fell off the bone the way you would expect them too. Overall the food was pretty damn good for the price. We paid 30 bucks and took home some leftover ribs. I'm not sure why everyone was bagging the service, our service was fine. It wasn't anything spectacular, but it sure wasn't terrible as some people posted.

The food here is actually quite good. But the service was so incredibly lackluster I had to dock a couple stars. I was sitting with my mouth on fire several times wishing I could get my water refilled, watching the two servers and busboy disappear and/or studiously avert their eyes until I had to literally wave my arms to get someone's attention. And it's not because they were slammed - the restaurant was maybe 20% full. They would talk on the phone hunched behind the front reception desk - the only reason I saw them at all was because my seat was positioned to look right into that area. Then later on, both servers were ignoring the floor while eating lunch. I get that you have to sneak in your meal fast between rushes, but would it be so much to ask that you go one at at time instead of both at once, so you don't abandon your open tables? There was a table of three women adjacent to mine and I could hear them talking to each other wondering where the wait staff had gotten to. One pair came in and got as far as getting a menu, but then they left after not seeing anyone come back to take an order. If Nayada's service were even merely ordinary or half-decent, I'd give four stars. The food, as I mentioned initially, is good! And the prices are right. All that's necessary, Nayada Thai front-of-house staff, is that you act like you give a hoot about your customers. Once you get that, you're golden.

GOOOOOOOD Thai food. I'll be back for sure! Got a free Thai Ice Tea for checking in on Facebook. BONUS!
(4)Sarah B.
Thanks Yelpers for the recommendation. Based on your reviews we ordered take out and used Yelp to complete the order. I was called a few minutes later to confirm my order and pick up time. Only took 15 minutes from the time i made my order and picked it up - on a Saturday afternoon around 1:30pm. $30 for three entrees and I checked in for a free Thai iced tea which is some of the best I've had. I appreciated the large portions of food and the service was attentive and polite. Food was just ok though - the orange chicken was sweet and tasty but the chicken itself was a little dry. The pad se ew had good flavor but I was really disappointed that I didn't get any broccoli. It only had shoots and leaves, no crown. Chicken was also dry. My husband had the pad Thai and said the se ew was better. His chicken was the most tender of the three entrees. I would go back even if it's just for the Thai iced tea and they had some other menu items I would like to try..
(3)Miyuki N.
They give you a lot of food for cheap! dinner entrees are $8-10 each. You will have leftovers!!!
(4)Tim B.
The restaurant was clean and had a nice decor. The hostess was pleasant and attentive. Recommended by the server when asked for something spicy, I ordered the kra prao chicken. The food came out promptly. The entree size was good, plenty of steamed rice. Unfortunately, the chicken was mild and unimpressive. It wasn't bland, but it lacked the kick that I was wanting. I ordered a Thai Tea, which I loved. For desert, I tried their fried banana which included two scopes of banana nut ice cream. The desert was absolutely awesome. I definitely revisit, although the kra prao chicken will not be ordered again. The desert, the environment, and the friendliness of the staff make Tantalizingly Thai a good place to eat. I'm at about 3.5 stars, but the desert made me round up.

Love the new ownership and try the Angel Wings!
(5)Nancy V.
Came here on a whim but glad we did. I guess it used to be called Tantalizing Thai. The staffs were great and the food was good enough for me. I am very critical when it comes to Southeast Asian food because my parents were both chefs long time ago. The staffs all speaks good English and really attend to your needs. That's a huge plus for me! We ordered tom yum soup and basil chicken; both were good but the basil chicken was more curry tasting (different). You can't complain about the price either. Give it a try; you won't regret it.

Excellent service! Transcendent dishes! Past visits to Tantalizingly Thai already won me over. And on a recent visit, they just blew me away. As I sat there at the dinner table, sashaying my little finger over the menu, I noticed an array of thai dishes that for some odd reason never really stood out before. Northeastern dishes (Mmm!), curries (Mmm!), salads (Mmm!), vegetable dishes (Mmm!) and more! The owner never fails to inform you of the type of dish and any recommendations such as optional spices and sauces that pair well with your entree. Recent and past dishes: Soft shell crab curry - crisp soft shell crabs with panang curry and coconut milk, fresh basil, kaffir lime leaves and bell peppers. Served with rice. ($16) Pad thai - stir fried flat noodles, chicken, shrimp, egg, tamarind sauce, bean sprouts, leeks and ground peanuts. ($10) Stir fried asparagus - stir fried asparagus in tasty traditional Thai oyster and mushroom sauce. Served with rice. ($10) Fried banana - prepared first by cutting a banana into 6 pieces. They dip them in a thick, very rich batter and then fry them golden brown. Nestling the hot banana pieces up against two scoops of their pineapple coconut ice cream. ($6) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ 4/5 Ambiance - The mood, character, quality, tone, atmosphere. 4/5 Service - Helpful, accommodating, efficient, delivery and speed? 4/5 Food / Merchandise - Quality, taste, presentation. 4/5 Price - Reasonable, inexpensive, high priced? Mid-week lunch, spouse and I arrived 11:45, seated promptly and menus provided [three other tables occupied]. Ordered Pad Thai and green curry [both with chicken]; we split the two entries. Service was prompt and efficient from two female servers [male appeared to serve water and take payment]. No complaints about service. We are not knowledgeable about Thai food so take comments from that perspective. Pad Thai sorta bland; curry offered a choice of spice level - asked for medium level and that was about what it was. The green curry was supposed to come with chicken [Eureka, I found two small pieces in among the potato and onion]. There was a small salad before the entree with house dressing in an equally small paper cup on the side. Dessert was included and consisted of another small portion of ice cream. If management is reading this - I would have foregone the dessert for more chicken. The bottom line is OK food, excellent service, small portions but reasonable prices [lunch was $6.95 each, total bill w/o tip $13.90]. Have you noticed the frequency of "small?' We will continue searching for Thai restaurants.

Nice little restaurant. Decent food and they deliver, which is awesome. Not my # 1 spot for thai food, but I am still a fan.
(4)Wendy S.
I love this place! I went there for the first time today and had hot jasmine/green tea, and the crying tiger steak lunch special (served with coconut soup and ice cream). The decor is beautiful and classy but warm. Deep burgundy walls, chandeliers, warm walnut floors. The service was perfect - the ladies are friendly and helpful. But let me just tell you - the crying tiger steak was PERFECTION. So tender I cut through it easily with my fork. It was served with veges (broc and carrots). The lime sauce was served in a separate silver serving dish and a small spoon. The coconut ice cream had candied ginger on top. Oh it was all so GREAT! I'll be back for sure.

I can't bring myself to give this place two stars...but I have experienced better Thai food. I suppose if you are in a bind and need a Thai fix.... this place might hold you over. Service is suuuuuuuuuuper slow. I would not recommend stopping by if you are in a hurry. The owner seats you and then you may or may not see your server. The food is obviously made fresh so plan on waiting if the restaurant is full because I believe the wife is the only cook in the kitchen. Everything that I have tried has had great flavor, but still nothing epic has been set in front of me. I suppose I could keep trying... but thinking I will stick with Palms in hollywood
(3)Linda D.
Crying Tiger steak is amazing!! Service is great! Love this place

This was the only time ever that my girlfriend and I could not decide who ordered the better dish. I don't consider myself a Thai food lover but the two dishes we ordered were better than words can describe (Pad Thai noodles and a red curry). We ordered to-go and the woman who handed us our order (not the one who took the order) had a curious expression (half humility and half pride), and now I know why. She must be a very gracious woman but at the same time knowing and proud of what she is doing.

This was a real surprise! Amazingly delicious Thai food in a super cool and classy chill environment in a mini-mall right across from a mall with stores like Ross and Payless. My sister "Yelped" it, and knows I love Thai food. We had an early dinner, and the food was clean, spicy and delish! The service was timely and the waitstaff super attentive. I have not had such great Thai food in a long time. On the way out, we met the owner. The people here work hard to give great service, food and ambience. Check it out! I know i'll go back when I'm in SoCal!

I continue to be a regular, and big fan of Nayada Thai. I eat Thai food all over the West Coast, and lucky me, this is only three miles from my home. Fabulous appetizer - Angel Wings (I have found none better anywhere). Any Curry dish is great, they adjust spiciness to your taste (medium is usually plenty good!)... and my ever delicious faithful Thai Basil Chicken (Kra Pra Chicken) is a regular order item. You will NOT be disappointed!!!
(5)Ling M.
Great great great! Service, atmosphere and of course the FOOD! I'm a sucker for green curry which was very tasty. We had the pad Thai and spring rolls , both great! The beer was super cold and the decor was very calming and CLEAN. Our server was Eve and she was so sweet. She was very busy but got us everything we needed with a smile. All staff pitched in which you don't see often these days. Will be back and learned they deliver to my home ! Highly recommended!

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this restaurant. We usually order this: 2 orders of Kra Pao Chicken (Medium Spicy) Siam Apple Catfish (Spicy) Fried Rice w/Basil (Medium Spicy) Small Wonton Soup Small Tom Yum Koong Soup (Shrimp) = a great soup if you are sick

I came on a Tuesday night around 7pm. It was completely deserted but started to pick up as the night went on. We ordered the thai wanton soup, tantalizing catfish, and thai fried rice. The food was fantastic I couldn't get enough! The catfish still had a nice kick to it even though we ordered mild (makes me wonder how spicy it can be). The thai tea was also authentic but was still overpowered with milk and sugar. Not a bad thing I just like to taste the tea but oversweetned is how most places serve it. We also had the fried banana and ice cream for dessert which was superb. The waitress was super nice and was very accomodating since my group came with a 1yr old. We had a babychair for him but we had to make sure his half of the table was clear so he wouldn't get his hands on all the food. The only reason I docked a star is because the white rice looked a little old and they ran out of their lychee and hibiscus drinks which were my original drink choices. They also ran out of they mango sticky rice. Edit: I came back several times after this. There food continues to be SUPER AMAZING, however, i still have yet to be able to try the hibiscus drink.

Pretty decent Thai in the LBC

I was so excited about this place because their papaya salad was pretty good(4 stars). But when I got a bunch of different dishes to go, they were just okay. I had to wait almost an hour for my order...sigh...The portions also are on the smaller side. I didn't dine at the restaurant but it looked lovely. I wish I liked the dishes more since it's close by...

Of all the Thai places, in all the lands, this one's calamari tasted like rubber bands! ---ok on a serious note, Thai & Japanese foodies are my ultimate Asian grubbery (anything else, I'll usually pass) and I take their consumption very seriously. Anyways, a friend came to visit me and I suggested we try this Thai restaurant out because as childhood best friends we spent our prepubescent awkward nights ordering in Thai food because we had the munchies---errr, I retract, I meant because we studied ourselves into starvation. JK! So on to less incriminating things....ahem, we arrived for dinner and the mood is set, the lights are dim so anyone can pass as pretty (so that brown paper bag is unnecessary) and service is good---friendly, fast & efficient! But that's just about as good as it gets. The calamari was like gnawing on tires, the chicken in the pad see eww was dry and overcooked but I can't say the food was HORRIBLE because it wasn't and the prices are descent. I would rather just drive the extra mile and get more bang for my buck.
(3)Laura R.
The lunch specials are fantastic. For 6.95 you get soup, an entree, and a little scoop of coconut ice cream with candid pineapple. There are a variety of dishes to choose from and the service is very good. The atmosphere is very nice. I can't wait to go back.
(4)Mark K.
It has been a few years since I visited but had the most rude experience ever. I ordered the Lard Nar and Pad Thai. The Lard Nar was just absolutely terrible and the owner came over and asked us how everything was. I told him the food wasn't what we were expecting and he promptly started to give us a lecture about how we didn't know authentic Thai food. Really? I might not know real Thai food but every single Thai restaurant in LA/Orange County serve Lard Nar exactly the same way except here. To add insult to injury, he didn't take anything off the check and we left eating one bite of each dish. Maybe this is just a money laundering front. Maybe the owners are rich and they just want something to do during the week. I'm for sure never stepping foot into this place.
(1)David P.
This establishment is an example of how you can eat well on a budget. A regular lunch stop for me, a friend and I can each get a lunch combo that includes a bowl of Tom Kah Kai Soup, whatever random spicy entree, and a small desert for less than $10 each. There's nothing spectacularly noteworthy about their dishes, but there's nothing horrible, either; their entrees are consistently good, the service is Johnny-on-the-spot, and restaurant is always clean, pleasant, and comfortable to dine in. But, wait, you say? You can afford to spend more than $10 for lunch? You want something better than just decent Thai food? Well, screw you, Fancy Nancy. Go eat somewhere else.
(4)Julie T.
Pad see ew, garlic eggplant, and chicken pa nang are our usual orders, and they are sooooo good! It's around the corner from the house, and they deliver - new name, new menu, and a new look; we usually get take out, but will have to go for a sit-down. Big love -

i enjoy thai food a lot, and search yelp for places to try; I had read some reviews of this restaraunt, but don't really get out the the Lakewood area, so I had not had the chance to try it for awhile. Recently my routine has taken me out that way, so I thought, hey there's the place I have read about, I'm going to try it. I am happy I did; service is very good, you are greeted warmly (that does not happen in as many restaurants as I would like), and shown to your seat. The menu has a lot of variety, and in these times, the prices are not outlandish. The food came fairly quickly, and I got a nice meal, big portion, with a beverage, for about $10. For my first visit I tried the sweet and sour pork; it was nicely cooked, with the usual peppers, pineapple, etc. You get a BIG bowl of steamed rice with your entree. The server was very attentive, they check on you often, offering you more rice, to refill your drink etc. Very good service Good food, good service, fair prices. Recommended.

You've gotta try the "golden bags". I'm always taking new friends and family to this place and everyone loves them! Best Thai food place around. You get a good amount for a decent price. My boyfriend and I are regulars there, we go about once a week.
(5)Albert L.
The food here has always been great for me and my family. The entree sizes are adequate. And the staff is very friendly. Over the years, this restaurant has become one of our favorite treats for take out. It is the best Thai food we've had. We particularly like the Pad see ew, the cashew nut chicken and the Pineapple fried rice for the children. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 star and not a 5 is really because of the interior decor. It's simply to simplistic. It's the Apple Mac version of restaurant decor. And the ambiance leaves a little more to be desired. But don't get me wrong, it is a fine place to bring the family for a delicious meal. I've simply seen better.

There is two thing I don't like about naming of the places. It's either you named the place as the King or Master suggesting your place is the best. Even worse, naming a place with a proclamation or adjective of describing the place such as "Best Fish Tacos in Ensenada" or "Yummy Cupcakes". I so much didn't like the name of Tantalizingly (Is this word really exist in the dictionary?) Thai. I honestly didn't really thought much about the place. It was located across the street from Long Beach Towne Center and facing directly to a Wal Mart Center. This sleepy and pretty much dead silent of a plaza also housed a Casino School and a bartending school. Frankly, I don't know if they were teaching people to become black jack dealer or they are teaching you on how to beat the odds of winning big in a roulette table. When I walked in, there was a gentleman who resembles Leslie Nielsen in an Ivory Merchant film. I was taken aback a bit because I wasn't expecting him to be a maitre'd. It's only when I found out later in an Elmer Dill article that have a fascinating story about him being a co-owner of this place when he was down here in Long Beach area where he was visiting his mother. One of the few places he liked was this Thai restaurant. I could see him incorporated some of his touches into the old restaurants. The place was a little bit more remodeled into a bistro look with a finer looking silverware and a white seamless paper on top of white linen table cloth with a cloth napkin. The place still kept some of the Buddha shrine behind the maitre'd stand and some of the old decorations can be seen above the door. It's a nice mixture of things, but you can tell they are trying to mix a little of both with the dinning more towards a modern look. The food itself is cooked in a Northeastern style Thai food that are very flavorable with herbs and spices mixed with kafffir lime leaves, coconut milk, lemon grass, and some tamarand. You can definitely tasted it in their sauce and smell the aroma of each dish. One of the few suggestions people made to me about Thai food was that I needed to try curry. I was a fan of Indian and Chinese curry because of their thickness like gravy, but never was a fan of Thai curry because of too much spices going on that burned my tongue with overdoes of spiciness. What that in mind, I decided to give Duck Curry a shot. Even though it's not listed in the menu I got, our man Jim Brewster (the maitre'd I had mentioned) memorizes everything on the menu and can suggested to me on which dish would suite well on what I had in mind. The curry duck yelp.com/biz_photos/CzbE… definitely has the chili to show for the spice to go along with thick rich flavors the curry have going for. If I ever had a doubt about what Thai curry can do, it was smashingly gone by the time I finished this delicious Curry Duck. One of the Chef's specialty on the menu was their seafood sections. I was dying to try out their tamarand prawns was because of the added spice of tamarand which is part of the Northeastern Thai specialties. The portion on these suckers were huge yelp.com/biz_photos/CzbE… . Not the baby shrimp you would expect from most places. The Pad Prik King yelp.com/biz_photos/CzbE… are always a dish I like to try at many of the Thai restaurants was because of the simple curry paste with a dash of string beans to go along with either pork or beef. At this case, it would be the pork as the mild chili paste sauce complimented the pork very well with their savory taste. I didn't expected the place to do well with their savory taste and excellent blend of spice in their ingredients on their dishes. However, after a few of the dishes I am happy to discover a place like this nearby that incorporated well with many of the dishes that left me happy to try out more. Even though the place probably catered more to the local neighborhoods of Long Beach and Lakewood, I have to say that this Thai restaurant had supplanted Thai Corner or any of the nearby Thai restaurants as my go-to place with Thai food. More importantly, there's another place nearby where I don't have to go to Hollywood for Thai food as it is far. Good to know a place like this exist. Hurray for the Curry Duck!

I tried this place a few years ago and was not impressed, however, I was like 7 months prego so that probably had something to do with it. This place is really good, I like that you can tell them how spicy you want your food, I chose med/hot and it was a great amount of spice! I am kind of boring and always order the same thing at Thai restaurants, but it gives me a chance to compare too. Our order was: yellow curry w/chicken beef salad seafood soup pad thai ( I didn't try, not a fan, I like Pad Se Ew but was overridden on that) Ok, the one downside was that we got a menu on our door saying free delivery (and it being Mothers day and I did not want to do anything but lay around the house), apparently it is only when they feel like it cause there was no delivery on that day and I had to go pick it up.

Good customer service. Very attentive. Food is great and cheap priced. Pretty quiet here and very nice.

So a year and a half ago I wrote a review where I was concerned about this restaurant. Well with time this restaurant became better than the old one. The whole experience here is phenomenal. The decor is great, they have a great discounted lunch menu, and the overall quality of the food has gone up. I guess sometimes change is good.
(5)Renee V.
A great place for a date. Delicious curry, Pad Thai, and their Thai iced tea is one of the best I've sampled. They have a traditional Thai dancer for your entertainment.

Best Thai food I've ever had in socal!! Clean. Nice staff. Try their crying tiger steak and the Thai tea with lime juice!!!
(5)Steph H.
I've passed by this place many times and chuckled at the rather silly name, but now that I've finally eaten here, I'll chuckle no more! We came with some friends who live near here and who really love the place, so I felt pretty safe. Even after seeing the "B" grade in the window. Our friends were surprised to see it so "crowded"--I'd say it was about 75% full. They said they've never seen it so busy, and I think they were kind of sad their little secret was out. The interior is pleasant, with dark red/brown walls and lots of Thai/Asian artifacts everywhere. They had a Thai dancer doing her thing also, but most diners didn't even seem to be aware she was there. Based on our friends' recommendations, we had: yellow chicken curry, yellow beef curry, tiger beef steak, glass noodle with shrimp, chicken larb, and prawns in dark sweet sauce that I've forgotten the name of. Everything was very good, with the exception of the glass noodles--very very bland! My friends were disappointed too, and said it was the first time that it's tasted so bland. The heat level we requested on everything was "medium," which I thought was just fine. I'm happy to report that the yellow curry was outstanding--my favorite thus far! Good flavor, texture, and the potatoes were nicely cooked. I'd come back here for the curry any time. Our second favorite was the tiger beef--tender, flavorful, and delicious. The larb and prawns were good, but not outstanding. Definitely a good joint worth checking out.

My co-workers consider this to be the "official" Thai restaurant for our department, so we come here for special occasions, like birthdays or service anniversaries. Their lunch specials are a good deal. Selected entrees come with rice, soup and dessert for under $10. I've had the Thai barbecued pork and chicken satay. The barbecued pork was different from what I thought it would be (had a spicy dipping sauce). The chicken satay was delicious with the peanut dipping sauce. The coconut milk soup was also good, but be sure to specify if you want mild or spicy! The owner and everyone working there are friendly and accommodating. The restaurant itself is nice and clean inside. There is Thai music playing in the background. This is the kind of atmosphere conducive to casual, relaxed dining. It's located in a peculiar location directly across the street from Walmart and next door to the Lakewood Equestrian Center, but who's paying attention? ;-)

I get take-out from here often. Order is always ready when I arrive and the food is always good. They have re-decorated in the last month or so and I see they are now putting in a bar area to the right of the main entrance.

This place is so yummy! We ordered four dishes and were forced to be non-selfish and share, since it was family style. We had beef salad. I can't remember the name of the dish because I was so overwhelmed with FLAVOR upon eating it. I was surprised it was cold (it didn't look like a salad, ok?) There was this BBQ type chicken (I'm really butchering these dishes). I'm not a fan of Chicken BBQ when it comes to Thai because there are so many great Thai dishes that are much more exciting but this one sort of got me. Then there was some sort of beef dish, that was a special dish, Crying Tiger I think ... delicious. Lastly, we got soft-shell crab curry, which was spectacular, but the portions were also spectacularly small. Definitely not a family-style dish but they tried to pass it off as such. Try the Thai Lime Tea - instead of cream, it's lime juice. Almost as good as Thai Tea in my opinion. Also - no crushed ice in the drinks, which is great (crushed ice tends to water it down, no?) Dessert was fried bananas, with banana ice cream. I'd never had banana ice cream before and it definitely is going to happen again. Soon. The fried bananas were good too. I had to take two stars off for price and portions (I added it back later; read on) - everything was tiny. You need a microscope along w/your silverware for the crab curry and banana dessert. We all stared hungrily at the fried bananas (and unfortunately, I was sharing dinner with three fat guys) as they disappeared before our eyes and into our unfilled stomachs. Damage to the pocketbook: $84 or so total. Also, the tables are tiny! We debated for a long time whether to ask to have two tables together (again, 1 skinny girl and 3 fat guys at a tiny table = spill hazard) but no one was brave enough to ask. Thai dancer was cool, but nothing amazing. I added one star back because halfway through the dance, a random busboy, also Thai, wearing a green apron aka NOT a Thai outfit, came out and started dancing behind the dancer, unbeknownst to her. We couldn't figure out if he was genuinely a good dancer, because he was mimicking all her movements, or if he was just making fun of her. We settled on the latter, and one star was added back on.

Went on Thursday, Feb 7th. We had the papaya salad, lettuce wraps, tom yum goong soup, and chicken pad see ew. Everything was delicious. The lighting and decor is nice for a date. I'll be back when it's mango season for mango and sticky rice!
(5)David R.
Great atmosphere, great food, great service. The owner kept checking in to make sure everything was great and had a good sense of humor. Did substitutions (black bean sauce instead of oyster sauce) no problem. Green curry was delicious! Even had a mango, though out of season, for mango and sticky rice. Yum!

Hi definitely the best Thai I've had in a little while please note this is overall experience and food not just the food. There is a pork dish appetizer that is rocking!!! we also had the halibut curry special it was good not great a tad over-cooked or frozen fish but that's to be expected around here in Jan. Waitress was cute and fun the place is nice but not fabulous however we were in East/South Long Beach. To me 5 star much better than the the other Thai place that starts with P on Carson St. in my opinion.
(5)Eddie C.
Blah. I'd expect better Thai food. Alas, I was not Tantalized. Oh well, what can you do. Maybe it was an off day, or maybe the real cook called in sick. Who knows, but the food was just average. They also have a Thai dancer during the evening hours, which is okay, except that there not enough patrons to make the entertainment fun. It was just a few people eating, with some not even looking at the "free" dancing entertainment. Sorry, I'd probably not come back.
(2)Wendy C.
Be warned - if you need something quick, don't come here. For lunch, be prepared to be there for at least 1 1/2 hours. For some reason, the service has really gone down a notch. It took FOREVER for the server to come take our orders and another FOREVER to get our food. I haven't tried everything on the menu because I tend to stick with the few choices I like and they are still good. If you're on a date (make sure it's a good one), this may not be a bad place to come because you'll have all night (to wait and) to talk.
(3)Linda N.
It's been a while since my initial visit so I'll keep it brief - everything I ordered came out delicious. Money bags, coconut milk soup, glass noodle salad, tiger steak... Tasty. And to top it off, my server was the cheeriest, most adorable lady who made the experience so much better. I really hope this place picks up in biz bc when I was there, my bf and I were nearly the only ones in there at dinnertime...
(4)SaVvy S.
I had never heard of this place ever. I never thought I would like another Thai spot more than my coveted Palms Thai in Hollywood. But unfortunately the food here puts Palms to shame as far as taste. I thought the food was very flavorful. They even made the cat fish taste oh so yummy and I hate fish! My friend and I splurged big time. We ordered the seafood tom yum soup, some sort of catfish with spicy sauce, bbq beef, ginger chicken, panang, and for desert, we had my fave, mango with sweet coconut sticky rice and fried bananas with vanilla ice cream. Man did I stuff myself beyond the limit. So if you're in the area and like Thai food, I recommend you try this place. What really surprised me was that this place isn't Thai owned, but the cooks are thai so of course the food is great. You might have to wait a little longer than usual because everything is made to order not ready to throw together and serve. It is absolutely well worth the wait.
(4)Viviene G.
Under new ownership, pretty much same delicious menu, but new look and name. It is now Nayada Thai Cuisine. The restaurant is in the process of redecorating with bar service to come! Loved the place before, but love it even more now. The new owner is very nice and the staff is friendly. Food is fresh, authentic Thai and made spicy to order. Love the Pad Thai and Rad Na. The Spring Rolls are crispy and fresh. Price is reasonable and they have lunch specials which include a salad or soup, your entree and ice cream.
(5)d d.
Pror to the new owners taking over I would have given this restaurant at least 4 stars, but for the last 7 months the quantity of the servings has been cut by at least 30 to 40%. The food is still good, but someone is very miserly! This is despite the fact that they have increased the menu prices. For example, we ordered yellow chicken curry and were barely given enough to feed two kids and received about a cup and half of rce. On a previous visit, we complained about the change in size to our favorite desert, but it looks like other menu items are shrinking too. The new owners obviously don't appreciate their loyal customers or understand that people are looking to get a fair deal. I don't expect extremely large quantities, but I do expect value for my money. Compared to other Thai restaurants, they fall terribly short. Don't come here hungry, you'll be disappointed.
(2)Mel Z.
The owners are nice and the food is average. Nothing spectacular. The place is clean and the service is average. Used to come here frequently for lunch with my coworkers but switched to Panvimarn in Long Beach on Carson once they opened a year ago. Best Thai food ever!! I'll probably come here again when I'm lazy to make the drive to a better but further Thai place.
(3)Christopher G.
Food was good, Pad Thai was good but not the best I've had. The Pra Ram Rong Song (beef with light spice) was fantastic. Also really enjoyed the Eggplant dish. Prices were reasonable.
(4)Snow A.
Reason why I'm giving this 2 star is because customer service sucked and my food was too spicy; I asked for my tasty scallop to be mild and my tom kha Kai to be medium spicy. The soup itself is good but it wasn't spicy. I think they got my soup and scallop spices mixed up. Scallops wasn't even that great.. Also it took a long time for them to give us water and to order food... What's ridiculous is they served the next customers first (party of 5) and they came in ten minutes after us. (It was just me, my bf and my roommate ). What's even lame is that my scallops comes with rice but they forgot about the rice and when I asked for rice; on the receipt they charge us for the rice. I was upset. I could've said something to the waitresses (which we had 2 of em serving us) but my roommate told me to drop it. I'm a bit disappointed at this place. The waitresses were even in a rush to get our money.
(2)Meghan O.
I think "meh" pretty much sums it up. First, the name is downright silly. Second, the pad thai I had last night was dry and bland. Somehow I still managed to gobble up the whole dish, but only after dousing it in soy sauce. I tried some of the yellow chicken curry and that was tasty, but if you can't make a decent pad thai, all you'll get from me in the end is a "meh." (Make the trek to Bangkok Thai on 4th street instead--you'll thank me later!)
(2)socheath v.
after a early movie; me and my sister was hungry for some Thai. We order the very simple chicken curry and phat thai. The service was good and the food was typical. Very small place and quiet. The portion was small compare to what other thai restaurant are offer close to them. I don't think they price the dish correctly. A little to high for small portion. But if I'm close and don't want to drive a few blocks more I will eat their again.
(3)Roy J.
Not tantalized at all. Portions were tiny. Yum Nua, ordered medium, had no heat whatsoever. Pad See Ew was hella bland. Fried bananas got me sick. I learned my lesson, TT. Next time I'm in the area and I want Thai, I'll go to Original Thai BBQ.
(1)heather d.
Great place. The owner is very nice! The food was great! I saw some signs asking parents to please keep their children at their table and under control. Thank you for that sign. If you are a responsible parent, that sign would not bother you......If you are one of those parents that go out and let their kids run wild without a care to anyone in the place, shame in you.....This sign is for you.
(4)Reina S.
Although this place is right down the street from our apartment, I really didn't enjoy this place. I like Thai food, but everything just seemed to be way too much, and the service wasn't that great. Even when I asked for a mild curry, it was so spicy I was sick for two days! Perhaps I should have ordered the pad thai? Although, I will say I did like their Thai iced tea.
(2)Heather H.
my sister, husband and i went here before an evening at disneyland...um...they were enjoying themselves at the happiest place on earth--i, however, was not. i've never had thai food before, so i don't know if i ate something that didn't agree with me (and only me), but i was bummin' that night. like, didn't go on rides, bummin'. i'm sure the food is great (my sister and husband were both very happy and want to go again-i will be skipping this outing), but it's just not for me. the restaurant was clean, the service was friendly and fast, and the prices are very fair, so really, this review suffered only because of my own stomach issues.
(3)Eli B.
Went to Tantalizingly Thai last week for the first time, wasn't too busy for a Saturday evening, but I noticed a very robust take out business. The food was great and the price was excellent. The staff is very nice and highly attentive. The menu is pretty extensive and provides good variety. The fried banana and coconut ice cream for dessert was phenomenal. Will be back again without a doubt.
(4)Diana K.
This place is amazing. By far, the best Thai food in Long Beach, and perhaps in Los Angeles. My favorite dishes are the Duck curry, and the Tamarind Prawns. Delicious.
(5)Buck M.
This used to be my favorite Thai spot in the area, and I had previously rated it as a 5-star establishment. Alas, shortly after I wrote that review, the owners sold to another party, and Tantalizingly Thai began its slide downhill. One of the things that stayed the same in the change-over was the head chef, so the authentic Thai recipes that built the place's reputation remain. Unfortunately, the new owner is apparently attempting to boost her bottom line by replacing the quality produce and other ingredients with inferior products, so the food is not as good as it once was. There is also less of it. Portion sizes have decreased significantly, and while I'm not the type to insist on a wagon-wheel sized plate filled to overflowing, I also don't like leaving hungry. The friendly and attentive service is the main factor that kept me from dropping my rating all the way to a single star. It is remarkable to me that the servers can maintain such a pleasant attitude when they work so much The one I see most often told me she works about 60 hours a week, but receives no benefits despite undertaking other tasks, including general cleaning as well as balancing the cash drawer nightly. I noticed the last time I was (or will ever be) there that some of the restaurant's propaganda shows a name change to Nayada Thai. I hope the so-called restaurateur who has taken over will get around to changing the name on the sign as well, so as not to confuse the pitiful establishment she's created with the one I used to love so much.
(2)Katie L.
I ordered the panang curry, golden bags, and siam triangles for delivery. The sauce for the apps was so good-spicy, sweet, peanuts, with cucumber, bell pepper and cilantro. The curry was delicious. The medium spice was spicy enough for me. Would have gave it 5 stars but delivery took a little longer then anticipated. Will definitely return!!
(4)Nina M.
Food was great. Small portions. Went on a tues @6 pm and we were the only ppl there! Angel wings -great Chicken pad Thai-very tasty Shrimp w/garlic entree SOOOOOOO good Thai ice tea- perfect Total bill $36
(4)Patrick F.
Very good!! Friendly, attentive service.
(5)Paul F.
This place is just around the corner from home. While it's not my favorite Thai restaurant, it is very good. I've only eaten in the restaurant once or twice. I usually just get takeout. My favorite thing on their menu is the Tom Yung Goon (sp?) soup. They load this up with shrimp, and they're huge! It's a great meal on a cold rainy day! Other things I have tried are pa nang curry, and pad prik. Both very good.
(4)Sara N.
I don't eat Thai food very often so that being said I did enjoy the food here but probably wouldn't come back unless a friend wanted to go. There is a Thai place that I love so I would most likely go there instead but If you are a fan of Thai food you would probably like this place. I went during lunch time and it was a little slow. Our server was great and very friendly. I like that you can tell them how spicy you want your meal. They have a lunch menu that includes your choice of soup or salad and ice cream for dessert all for a great price. The portion of food was more than I could eat although I do eat small meals frequently I still think that most people will find their portions filling. I came here to earn my bonus airline miles and had to spend $25. We ordered 2 entrees, an appetizer and 2 drinks and the bill was $27. I think that's a great deal. The coconut chicken soup was really good and so was the Salmon that I ordered. The only thing I didn't like was the spring roll but I prefer those at the Vietnamese restaurants. I would go back again if a friend was in that area and craving Thai food.
(3)Yvette H.
The food here is okay, but it's over-priced. My fiance and I ordered tamarind prawns, which costs $18. We got about four small prawns. We also ordered pad-thai, and that was just mediocre. We walked away disappointed, and hungry still.
(2)Jay Y.
the quality of food here is comparable to home cooking. it's simply just that delicious. their thai fried rice is addictingly good, their pad see ew and pad thai is good, coconut shrimp and crabcakes are delicious and flavorful, and the thai ice tea is strong in flavor.. which i LOVE!! the appetizer rolls are decent but the dipping sauce with the peanuts is what saves it. the owner is super friendly and interactive with customers which i appreciate. he has also done his homework with thai cuisine.. which definitely paid-off for this little spot. if you're ordering take-out.. make sure you phone-in ahead cause the wait can sometimes be a little long. i probably order from here once or twice a month. =)
(4)Amanda C.
This is my favorite place to go for Thai food! If you go, you should get the lunch special. It comes with soup, an entree, and coconut ice cream. Their tom yum soup is delicious. The servers are super friendly and they always fill up my water cup before it gets empty. I'm always puzzled why this place is empty when i go because the food is to die for.
(5)joshua h.
went here last week with some friends and we were all impressed. the curries were all delicious and authentic, and spiced to your preference, the appetizers were also super yummy, as well as the thai iced tea and the thai tea with lime. will def eat here again if I am back in the LBC.
(4)Josie P.
This place was fabulous! I ordered a bunch of different things like the beef pad thai (very fresh and light), garlic chicken wings (best wings I had ever tasted) and a couple of other things. I met the new owner, Sue, and she was so friendly and told me and my friend all the great plans she has for the place. The service was so quick and they always refilled our drinks without us having to ask and the waiter must have stopped by our table at least 5-6 times to make sure that we were okay. The service was definitely top notch! Will definitely come back again soon!
(5)Stacey T.
such an awkward atmosphere! and paper table cloth? the workers were nice...but man this place seem cheesy..we had egg rolls, drunken noodles, pad see ew. the eggs rolls was just oil when you bit into it...it was pretty gross......and the noodles were soooo oily and pretty bland..never again.tantalizing my a**
(1)Ann P.
I wen to TT with several of my guy pals, one of whom lives in Thailand for like 6 months out of the year.It was his idea to go to TT so I figure he knows good Thai food. Now, I must tell you that I'm one of the people that is really picky about the food I eat, so I wasn't really sure what to expect. The hostess was gracious and the food excellent. I have no idea what I ate, but it was very tasty. We ordered several dishes and shared them. I didn't try the Thai Iced Tea but I hear it's very good. I could do without the dancing lady!
(4)Alexandria W.
sooo my boyfriend actually dragged me here for my first thai food experience and i was pretty nervous that it would be weird super spicy food that i wouldnt like. but after actually giving it a chance, i found that i loved thai food! i ordered a lemon pepper chicken dish i believe and it was okay. but i spent most of the meal stealing bites off of his plate of yellow chicken curry. yuuuummm. that has definitely become my go to dish. i always stick to mild but one day im sure ill work up the nerve to try the spicy. :) i have also had their bbq pork and its very good. its served with a spicy chili dipping sauce that compliments it very well. my boyfriend adores their pad thai as well. thai iced teas here are beyond delicious so try one when you stop in! definitely my favorite thai food restaurant.
(4)Julaine W.
Stumbled on this place about 4 weeks ago. It's under a new ownership! The food is delicious! Try the pineapple curry. It's amazing...It has lichee nuts in it, and fresh pineapple wedges...Yum. When you are waiting, notice how clean it is. You can see the fresh ingredients cut up and waiting on the stove. We have been back 4 times since for other dishes. They deliver too!
(5)Munir S.
I went to this restaurant because they offer airline mileage rewards, otherwise I might have overlooked it. After only one visit, it is now my favorite local Thai place, because of the food. The dishes look fresh and appealing, very tasty and top-notch ingredients...no short-cuts. The lunch specials are a tremendous value...for about $7.50 you get soup/salad, the entree, and a scoop of delicious ice cream. I had the green curry with eggplant on noodles, and it was a perfect melange of flavors. I will be sampling many more dishes and bringing friends along.
(5)Angela V.
Great restaurant to escape to on a rainy day with some fellow baseball moms, yes we deserved a good meal and without out little baseball players. Service was on point and our drink order was immediately taken and our drinks were brought to us not long after. My Thai Iced Tea was simply delicious, sweet but not to sweet just the way I like it yum. Appetizer - Golden bags were amazeballs, ( funny name) but perfectly crisp and the pork beef inside was moist and just go good and went perfect with the sauce they give you. Shrimp Pad Thai was also so so good and full of amazing flavors. The shrimp were plump, big, and seasoned to perfection and my mouth waters just writing about. Chicken coconut soup was also yummyliscious. Full of flavor just the perfect combination of sweetness, spiciness, and the lemony flavor provided by the lemongrass, and lots of chicken, and served on a cute pot. Crying Tiger steak was marinated and cooked to perfection served with rice and sauce I swear every bite was delicious and full of flavor. The combination fried rice had the perfect combination of shrimp, chicken, and beef and again the flavor were on point and wonderfully delicious. Yes every single dish was presented beautifully and so full of that every single bite was better than the one before that. Will definitely return as there were many delicious looking dishes that I cannot wait to try.
(5)Daisy M.
I've eaten Thai food almost all of my life. This place is authentic Thai cuisine ! I like the homemade taste of their dishes. Everything is cooked only when ordered & that is why The wait is abit longer compared to other places! It's NOT a fast food commercialized Thai food! & yes clean floor & restroomS! Try it!!!
(5)Michael J.
4.5 stars. Really good, and I mean really good. Just takes quite a while every time I'm there. That being said you know it's fresh, made to order and tasty. What more do you want. Try it.
(5)Jo Ann S.
Great food and great service!! First time here and we will definitely be back... Golden bags and Summer rolls were delicious!!
(5)Jane A.
Addictive Nam Sod This is a pretty tasty spot to grab a bite to eat. It happens to be in the same parking lot as SN Thai Massage which is the best massage place ever. The Nam Sod is absolutely delicious. It is like a flavor carnival for my tongue. The ginger! The limes! It is just amazing. My sweetheart tried the Orange chicken today which he said was pretty good.
(3)Darrell K.
Thai choices is becoming a little more prevalent. Long Beach and Seal Beach offers many options. So far, this is my favorite one. Delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was super friendly and I had no issues at all. The Chicken Basil was very good. I can't wait to try the other dishes.
(4)Heather C.
My one of my first thai spots! I was maybe 14, when my mother took me to Tantalizing Thai. I was easily hooked on the pad thai, and Thai Tea(my absolute favorite still!!). This became our lunch spot whenever my mom had to do some shopping across the street at LBTC. Fast forward to getting my license, and coming here on my own...then Tantalizing turned into Nayada, and I popped in on opening day. Nayada is on the corner of Carson, just across from the Carl's Jr with a BRIGHT red sign that says "Thai Cuisine" on the side and on the front (^_~) super easy to find! Now, 2015, and I'm still a regular here. Because like my other favorite thai joint down the street, Nayada has special menu items that most other places just won't have, and again, customer loyalty was earned many, many moons ago! I am so excited that Nayada reopened again, because going a few months with no Nayada..my tummy was so sad :'(. Hopefully people remember that "to-go" doesn't mean "drive-thru" LOL! Nayada came back with a whole new, sleek, serene, upscale look, and yet the prices are still the same!! Woohoo! My dishes of choice include the pad thai (duuuhh..its still a fave), the soft shell crab curry, apple crisp catfish, crisp garlic wings and the Tom Yum soup. The pad thai is good, always filling and they always put less bean sprouts if I request because ehh..I don't always like them..haha. Anyways, the dishes are full of rich, authentic Thai flavors, never overly salty or watered down. If a dish isn't spicy enough, the servers are more than happy to bring you a small bowl of freshly chopped Thai chili. I like spicy, so I always get a side, but my bf prefers to just roll with how the dishes come prepared! Which, is no biggie, because the food is amazing without it. The Thai tea here is ranked within my top 10, because a) served in a hella cute mason jar (I love mason jars, high five Nayada!!), and b) it's not overly sweet like other places I've been too. It also isn't chock full of ice and minimal tea. Oh no, you get lots of tea and little ice (^_^) yummaaayy!! The servers here are very friendly, and service is fast. I've never had the displeasure of waiting more then 20 minutes for my food, and for that I am lucky! The chefs here do aim to please, and I love to leave compliments on my receipts for both servers and chefs! You can order online for pick up, or call it in. I've never walked in for to-go service, but I do know that's also available. Parking is so-so. The lot isn't large, but if you go behind the realtors office (the 2 story little building in the same lot), there's a handful of hidden parking spots back there! I highly recommend Nayada, and it sucks that people have had issues with wait times and service, but give them a second chance (^_^) I promise you won't regret it! 5 stars through and through! The yummy in my tummy is happy with Nayada!
(5)Brian H.
Very delicious authentic thai food! This is my family's favorite thai spot and we would recommend it to anyone.
(5)Mike H.
Nayada is perfect for a dinning escape. The restaurant has a trendy look and the food is delicious. The menu is pretty large that offers many different choices. Some of my favorites would be the Golden Bags (cream cheese and crab wantons), the Pad See Ew, and the pineapple fried rice. They also have their own spin on Orange Chicken and other non Thai dishes. Looking forward to my next journey here, as I will be trying the Pineapple Curry. Give Nayada a try!
(4)Kimberly L.
This place is just OK, portions are not too big and prices are standard. The food is good and decent but look elsewhere if you really want quality thai food. The thai ice coffee is pretty good, but they charge $1 for no ice... How cheap can you get?
(3)Alejandro C.
Good service and food. Try the Thai tea with lime! Its delicious! I had the pad see ew witch beer and the curry panang served with white rice. Both where very good. Prices at this restaurant range from $7-$15 per plate. They also deliver!
(3)Julie K.
First time at this restaurant. Parking was available nearby was limited not enough parking spaces for it the number of businesses in this shopping center. It was apparent that this restaurant had gone through some type of renovation. The place was quite clean and presentable. We order two lunch specials. The food was excellent. We both ordered noodle dishes: Pad Thai and another that's spicy. the lunch specials came with a small scoop of ice cream at the end of the meal. it was the best ice cream I have ever had in my entire life. I will definitely be bringing my family here. The total bill turned out to be less than $20.
(5)Michelle B.
I wish i can give zero stars Why must this place always disappoint me I keep giving them chances & same thing So i order delivery for a business a block away , and my total comes out to 19$ before tax & they tell me they cant deliver unless i buy an appetizer or another entree! Freaking really?! What kind bs is this there willing to loose money over a dollar ? Im all about customer service so thats a big no no! Food however its always just okay DELivErY TOOK ONE HOUR! I called at 1pm didn't arrive til 2:30 i called to cancel order & speak to maneger & guess what they clicked on me i asked for maneger name they said they couldn't give me that info wtf!? i dont mind driving a block or two away to panmivarn the food is so much better and service there is excellent! & if this place believes in customer service i would love to hear back from management i will update review if i do.
(1)Frannie B.
Been here a few times now and the food has always been delicious! My sister and I always come for lunch and order the lunch specials. Lunch specials come with the choice of soup or salad and...free mini-scoop of coconut pineapple ice cream at the end of your meal. Rice included as well, except with the noodle dishes. The staff very friendly and never had any issues at all. The place is very clean and trendy due to their recent renovations. The food delicious and well prepared. My favorite Thai Restaurant so far! Highly recommend!
(4)Neil F.
I got the Pad See Ew, which is the typical dish you can get at a thai place. The noodle didn't clump together and they have a lunch special for less than 10 bucks. Solid choice, but it is hard for me to rate Thai food that much higher.
(3)Esther L.
Service was great. Prices are decent and the atmosphere and decor was cute. However , the food was good but not memorable and portions are a bit on the smaller side. We ordered the masamang curry and Kai kua. Both recommended if you're thinking about ordering new dishes outside of pad see ew or the regular curries.
(4)Tara D.
Caveat: First time, delivery order Verdict: My first order is also my last. Slow delivery + mediocre, cold food = not interested in visiting the restaurant to see if service or food improved there. I placed a delivery order at 11:25 AM Monday that took 1 hour, 25 minutes to arrive (delivery quoted at 45-60 min.) I deliberately ordered early to beat the lunch hour rush. Upon opening the food, one dish was room temperature; the other actually slightly cold. I believe the dishes would have been decent but not great if received hot (and before my blood sugar was crashing). I couldn't reheat the steak without overcooking it because it was served thinly sliced. Order: $16 Crying Tiger steak (arrived totally cold, below room temp), $8 Yam Woon Sen (glass noodle dish.). I ate the steak; I tossed the noodles after a few bites. The steak was a great quality cut and a large portion size but had almost no flavor without the accompanying sauce - it didn't even seem salted. Tomatoes served with it were not ripe. Reviews seemed to indicate this was a signature dish. I'd rate it okay/good but not great. The noodle dish was uninspired, and lacked the depth of flavors I've had in others. No fresh herbs and a minimal amount of lettuce, red onion and carrot. The main flavor was chile (which I love) but there was not enough acidity, nor enough veggies/herbs. Neither the food nor the service dictated a return visit/order. I wish we weren't just outside Panvimarn's delivery radius. They have way better food and are only slightly more expensive. Coconut Rabbit in Los Al is also a great choice (but closed Mondays.) -1 star for slow delivery -1 star for no apology for slow delivery -1 star for cold food -1 star for noodle dish lack of flavor and steak being just ok

Very very good food. It was my first time eating here earlier today and I have to say the food and service here was GREAT!!!

Place is much better than expected. I've been here twice now and I've been satisfied both times. For Californians like myself, the portions are a bit smaller than other places BUT you pay for quality..seriously. That Duck Curry cannot be beaten!! Highly recommend. They're honestly the right size portions to get stuffed but we on the west coast prefer large, over stuffing meals which is sad. Still 4.5 stars to be exact for this place.

I came here for lunch with my boyfriend since we saw it on our way to Walmart. I had the yellow curry with chicken from the lunch menu with a side of soup. Yummy!! My boyfriend got Thai boat noodles, which I thought was a little too sweet. I also asked for medium spicy, and he asked for spicy, but none of the food tasted spicy. It was mild at best. I enjoyed my meal and service, so I would definitely return.

Just had the Pad Thai which I love, so I'll know if it's good or horrible.. Therefore, I loved it! Good mixture of sauces, peanuts, and spice. I will need to try more dishes to give a more rounded out review. But so far, so good!

Awesome food, staff and price. This has been our go-to Thai restaurant for a couple of years now. The employees are warm and welcoming and the food is really good. Why would we go anywhere else. EAT HERE

This restaurant has the distinction of being the first Thai place that has left me less than satisfied. The pros: Good location, nice atmosphere and decor, decent pricing. That's about where the positives end. We went on a Saturday night, which is understandably busy. But still no excuse for getting ignored for 10 minutes after sitting down with no one even asking if we wanted a drink. The waitstaff seemed super frazzled and waiters were literally running through the restaurant and yelling next to our table since we were closest to the hostess booth. I honestly wouldn't mind all that if the food was amazing. But alas, it wasn't. Not only did we wait 30 mins for our food, but it was much smaller portions than what I'm used to for the price. The chicken pad Thai was pretty good, but the curry was bland and the pork pad see yew was burnt!! I can't think of any reason to go back here considering all the really great Thai places in the area. We are used to amazing hole in the wall Thai places where you can get a ton of delicious food for cheap, and they don't keep you waiting. Sure, this place is cute and well decorated but that's not enough for me to ever recommend this to someone who truly loves a good Thai meal.

This is my favorite Thai food restaurant ever! I go there at least once a week. 3 course lunch specials under $10! There Chicken Tom yum soup is delicious. I get it every time I go.
(5)Greg A.
This is hands down, the best Thai food I've ever eaten. The Pad Thai, Rad Na, and spring rolls are absolutely delectable, and my wife and I have found no equal in any other restaurant. The food is very reasonably priced and service is consistently spot on and attentive. This place is a gem!

Though we arrived 30 mins before closing the staff welcomed us kindly & seated us right away. Their service was spot on & not to mention the sticky rice with mango was yummy! My boyfriend & I had thai boat noodles- mmm.. it was delicious. I can't wait to come back & try the rest of their menu :)
(5)Angela D.
Amazing ambience. Great service. Even better food. We really enjoyed the Pad Thai, Crying Tiger Steak, and Cream Cheese Wontons. Love this place.
(5)Lili K.
This is located right across from Long Beach Town Center! I got the beef pat see ewe, and asked them to make it a little spicy-and that they did! I loved the spice!! However, the meal itself was pretty greasyyyy :/
(3)Susan J.
Delicious. My favorite is the pad see ewe. And the Thai iced tea. You can also order to go and either pick up or get it delivered. Food is always good and they've made major improvement to the interior Decor too!
(5)Krystle M.
This place is so super yum! I have a couple safe dishes that I stick with && suggest to everyone I know. 1. Cashew chicken extra spicy ! ( my favorite) 2. Tom Yum chicken soup (extra spicy) 3. Pad see ew + pork + extra Chinese broccoli Thai tea is a must ! && for dessert... Mango sticky rice! Try one of those if your unsure what to order & you like spicy food! The staff is beyond amazing & friendly here.

This is definitely one of the best tasting Thai food I have ever had. The food was presented well and the restaurant itself had a nice but not over the top decor. I would not hesitate to give this place five stars except that when we were there the service was just way too slow. There were four of us in the party and not only were they slow to take our orders but when the food did arrive they were served so far apart that each person finished eating his food before the next person received his own food. You might be able to enjoy the food better by ordering out.

I've been a loyal customer since it was Tantalizingly Thai. The transfer of owners did not steer me away as much as it lured me back. Each thai restuarant has certain dishes I favor. But this restuarant, like Panvimarn, has more than the typical menu items like pad thai, pad se ew, fried rice. They have speciality dishes that's rarely offered at other thai restuarants such as lamb masaman, apple crisp catfish, soft shell crab curry and much more. Their food is fresh and full of flavor. The presentation is beautiful. With that said the food here is delicious!!! So far I have not been disappointed by any of the dishes that I've tried, well except for the fact that extra spicy was not spicy enough for me but then again I have a pretty high tolerance for spice and my friend said his mouth was burning. Anyhow if you're like me and need more spice, you can ask for a side of fresh chopped thai chili. The staff are very nice and friendly. The service time on the other hand was really slow tonight which was surprising since it's usually faster (before 5pm anyway). But the food is definitely worth the wait. My tummy was satisfied, the wait forgotten and some weights put on by their oh so yummy food. (^_^) This fine restuarant is well hidden in a tiny shopping center across from LBTC (Walmart /Carls Jr). I recommend trying one of their specials!

I used to love Tantalizingly Thai and maybe that's why it has taken me awhile to come to Nayada Thai. They definitely upgraded the look of the space and the inside is now modern and sexy. Nice job on the he remodel for sure. The food was yummy too- especially the chicken pad se ew, my favorite Thai standard dish and the angle wings- a chicken breast stuffed with silver noodles and molded into a pair of panko covered "angle wings". I'm giving it three stars because the service was ridiculously slow. Lunch took an hour and half. There were two waiters for the whole place and it was busy. Dear Nayada Thai, Please hire more servers. I find the slow service to be rude. Thanks, Dre
(3)Evelyn O.
Food is delicious!! Tofu Tom Ka Kai, tofu pad Thai, Broccoli and carrots w/chicken, vegetable fried rice, and fried banana with ice cream!! Nom, nom, nom.
(5)Ricky C.
I've seen this place plenty of times since it is around the corner from my house. I finally went there with my roomie to check it out. The inside was nice, but we definitely weren't impressed with the food. I ordered the steamed chicken special, which was rather bland, but ended up leaving a bad after taste. Sadly, the place is walking distance and I probably will never go back.

This place wasn't great, but it wasn't a bad experience either. The waitresses seems a little foreign. it was very empty when we went, and they sat us down smack dab in the middle of the room. The food was good. i felt it was a bit over priced. If i ever go here again i am taking it to go!

I have been a regular here for about a year now and I have gone to a couple other thai places and have yet to find anything as good as this place. The ownership has changed from the white guy that ran the place to an actual Thai born owner. The staff has remained as well as the menu but the change has been for the better. The food went up in amount served and quality. My favorite waitress is Apple who always greets you with a smile and invites you in like inviting someone into your home. She always makes me feel comfortable and is attentive to me the whole time. I observe how she is with the other customers and she treats everyone with the same attentiveness and warm personality. I have tried most of the Currys, the chicken and salmon dishes. All are excellent and served with just the right spice. I always ask for the condiment tray that has 2 really tasty spices, they are red and way hot so be cautious with the amount you use. My only dish I didnt favor was the crying tiger steak and that is only because it taste's really salty and I am not a fan of salt in my food at all. The cocnut tempura is to die for! Their Thai Lime ice tea is bomb and the tom ka khai soup (made with coconut milk) is delicious as an appetizer as well. Prices are about what you would get at say a Chili's or TGIF. Lunch hours from 12-330p i believe is the times, are great for lunch under $10. If you go any other time then you can get away with about $12--$15 a person depending on what you order unless you get the chef specialties and the plate alone is $15-18, I have been wanting to try one of those dishes because they sound excellent by the description alone. I wish they could get their liquor license because I believe there can be some great wine pairings with some of this food. The presentations of the food when it gets to you is artful too, it is like high class dining with accessible prices.

The design and the decor of the place is quite nice. The food is good, regular and nothing really different from the other Thai food I've had. There was a girl performing (it looked like she was doing some type of Thai dance), but considering there were only three groups of customers, we weren't really watching. They didn't have the beef satay so that kind of took down one star for me. The waitresses could smile a little more too. It seems like a lot of people did a phone order and came to pick up food. I would definitely do a phone order and come to pick it up. I think that's a very smart part of them having a website for phone orders for pick up. Overall, it was a good place to eat.

We just returned from a really fabulous lunch at Nayada Thai. Even though we live nearby, this was our first visit, but it definitely will not be our last. Our first stop was the bathroom which was immaculate. The lunch specials at $6.95 were a terrific bargain--lots of choices which include soup or salad and a small dish of yummy ice cream for dessert. We had delicious pad thai and panang curry, and everything that our waitress delivered to other tables looked great, also. In addition, we had Thai spring rolls as an appetizer. They were as pretty to look at as they were tasty to eat, and the chef had no trouble accommodating my husband's request for no cilantro. We wanted to share a Thai coffee and, without being asked, our server split the one order into two glasses which many places would not have done. Speaking of service, the young lady was excellent in every way. We are pretty demanding restaurant goers and do not give rave reviews lightly. I have a feeling this eatery will be high on your list as well.

I love thai food and this place satisfied the craving. The Pad thai was delectable.

this spot STRAIGHT ROBS you, leaving this place pissed and hole in your pocket. i aint mad if food was good but IT SURE WASN'T, so FYI im just waiting on this place to close there doors.

This a great restaurant! The food is excellent. Our favorite dishes are the pai thai, mint chicken, and shrimp curry. The appetizers and soups are very good. Overall this is one of the best thai restaurants in town.

I've been going to this restaurant for a few years now, so I have a fair bit of experience to draw upon. From the very first visit the co-owner Jim was very knowledgeable and friendly. I admitted to him that I knew nothing about Thai food, but since I was really hungry, I would take whichever dish was their largest portion. After a few quick questions to make sure it was a dish I would like, (as I said knowledgeable and friendly) he recommended the pad Thai. Whether it really was the largest or just a suggestion he was confident I would like, I really don't know. Either way it was a smart move. Delicious! Literally, this is the dish that brought me back for a second visit. I've had it many times since and it's been flavorful and filling every time. I've had most of the menu items at this point and can honestly say that the only time I have ever NOT enjoyed the food was some weird eggplant dish that I don't recall the name of. Honestly I think it just wasn't my type of dish. It's O.K. since the eggplant I was sampling was my brothers dish and not mine. Occasionally the service is a bit slow, but it doesn't happen often. I haven't heard anyone mention the great lunch special. This is what I show up for nine times out of ten. I usually spend around 12 bucks, get a small cup of coconut milk soup, ( which you HAVE to try, its great) an entree, and small dessert. I'm always full and very satisfied. re: other yelps as for another yelpers complaints about the signs requesting to keep your children well behaved, I actually was happy to see the signs when they came up. Yes it is common courtesy to make sure your child behaves, but I think you are forgetting how few people (especially when dining) remember things like courtesy and etiquette. For me, an obnoxious child can really put a ding in an overall experience, especially if I don't feel the parent at least makes an effort to control them. So unless your son is made out of gravel, I think you shooshing him "every time the boy would move" is probably just you being overly sensitive. In regards to the complaint (?) that the restaurant had few patrons upon your arrival, this is something that always confuses me when I read reviews. Maybe it's working in restaurants that has made me aware of a certain truth, but no restaurant (except the extremely popular ones) is always busy all the time. If you had observed a slow dining room at a usually busy time then that would be a different story, but noon-ish on a Sunday? not exactly the most popular time for most people. also: make sure you try the fried banana dessert, it's very tasty. overall, it's a very friendly place with very good food and fair prices.

very unattractiveoutside and in. food was ok - though uninteresting.the cook was unkempt - only three young men, one table,

i am a very big fan of papaya salad and the only good ones that i've tried are the one's down in east side long beach. well, my sister referred me to this place and she said they had really good papaya salad, so my husband went and got me some and boy was i disappointed... there was no flavor, and did not at all taste any flavors and my husband even told them to make it spicy; and also TODAY, we decided to go back there to order pad thai and some curry and they told us that our food would not be done for another hour and 15 minutes... i'm quite sure the restaurant sign says they close at 9 on thursdays ?! hrmmmm... i'm pretty sure the restaurant is pretty popular and it has a nice ambience but an hour long ?! come on, and there were 6 other tables there that were not even served their food yet... if i actually get to sit down and eat there, then maybe i'll change my perspective of it and i'll come back and write another review... other then that, we'll just try another place.

Just recently discovered Tantinlizingly Thai near the LBTC. The food is amazing!! I recommend the phad thai, panang curry, and their spare ribs specialty! to die for!! customer service was aweseome. some sweet lady often checked on our table and made sure we were happy with our meal. to top off the night order the sweet mango with sticky rice... droOOL.
(5)Nina R.
Great food, shabby service...I would definitely order in..they deliver for free if you live within three miles. Their appetizer lettuce wraps were amazing!
(4)C K.
Good Thai food! Good service! Nice ambiance! Will return for sure.
(3)Alan M.
Yum! everything was perfect, except the coconut chicken soup, which tasted like warm coconut milk, chicken and nothing else.. The dishes that we loved were the chicken satay, the golden bags (beautiful and tasty), the larb, the Mussaman curry and the cashew chicken. Great service. We can't wait to come back to try other things on the menu. Place is clean and serene.

For the most part the place was fine. There wasn't anything terribly wrong with it but then again, it wasn't anything noteworthy either. Overall, I'd say just an okay place. We ordered the chicken wings (which were good) and the calamari (which weren't bad but a few of my friends didn't like it because the pieces were pretty big and it was a little too chewy for them) as appetizers. Dinner was the duck curry (okay), the beef panang curry (okay), pad se ew (okay), pineapple fried rice (better than okay), tom yum soup (good) and one more dish but now I can't remember. They don't have a beer and wine license but they do allow you to bring in your own with no corkage fee, that was nice. Also, service was friendly enough. Like I said, overall just okay but we were limited on choices because we were trying to catch a movie across the street and didn't want to travel too far out of the way.

Great place for quick and delicious Thai food if the other places at the Long Beach Town Center don't sound appetizing. Good prices, good service, good food. While they are great in accommodating for a vegetarian diet, the selection gets pretty limited if you frequent this place often. The manager and servers are very nice though, and you can tell there is a great respect for the culture. What I recommend is to create an actual ambiance, instead of just playing random thai songs. Getting an alcohol license would probably be a good idea as well.

I don't understand how some reviewers gave this place 1 or 2 stars. We started coming here about 3 years ago, when they first opened. Very stark, minimal decor in every way. They were frugal in the beginning and have improved the decor as they have grown. But the food has always been very good and very individual in their flavors. They have had their bumps in service in the past, but hey!, good help is hard to find, and I think they have weeded out the lazy and have really turned the corner on keeping a new business up and going. As of this review they seem to have a wonderful chef in house. A special appetizer was golden shrimp rolls. For $6 you got 5 phyllo wrapped shrimp fried quickly and stood up in individual shot glasses of plum sauce with a fried basil leaf garni. AWESOME!! They rest of the meal was Crying Tiger Rib Eye, Coconut Shrimp Curry, Sticky Rice, and yummy Thai Ice Teas. I have been eating Thai food since the 70's. This is real good stuff. Chuck

great food. order my favorite (yellow curry) and bbq ribs, was not disappointed. i like the fancy feel. service is just a tad bit slow.
(4)Sailor N.
I always pass by here and it looks clean and nice so finally I went. I was a little scared because there was only 2 other tables of people. Anyway the food was Delicious and the service was very good. One negative was it did take a while for the food even with a dead restaurant., but not a big deal we weren't in a rush to see a movie or anything. Restaurant was very clean and nice decorations. I would recommend it if you are in the area.
(4)Kelsey M.
Love this place. Get the Salmon Kra Prao lunch special. Also sub the rice for broccoli. Healthy & so tasty. Everything else on the menu is pretty damn good too. Go there. You won't be disappointed

Blah, reading the reviews, I had such high hopes for this place... It's been a month since that weird lenten Friday night...As a hardcore meat eater, I try to find tasty alternatives to a night of beef... Fish & Chips at a British spot... Coctel Camarones (shrimp coctail) at a mariscos spot.. Sweet Potato Pizza at a Korean pizza spot... Mojarra Frita (fried tilapia) at another mariscos spot... Overpriced Sushi night... Linguine Con Vongole (pasta and clams) at an Italian spot... Somewhere in there, every year, I add a Thai restaurant as Thai food is always so flavorful, and has plenty of meatless entrees, so off I go to Tantalizingly Thai in Lakewood. I arrive and learn that they have Thai dancers come in on Fridays and perform...fortunately I missed all that :) It's 8:30, I'm looking around, scared and confused...I don't see a Singha logo anywhere, the waitress's apron, on any of the wall decor, and it was certainly missing from the menu...WTH!! No beer!, Really, I can't even score a Bud Light in here?, where am I, Chuck E Cheese? Did someone give me the children's menu? Looks like I'm drinking water tonight =(, but at least I'll have good Thai food right...It was so bland, I begged for chili paste just to have some flavor...how could this be? I read those reviews... This table next to me of white people is so happy, discussing films like Sideways and clinking their (empty) water glasses together in celebration... The only thing worse than the beverage menu and the flavorless food was the service...BOTH waitresses decided it would be nice to eat together at a table on the other side of the dining area, ignoring me and my requests for more water, the check, etc... Not happy...

i love this place. the food is fantastic. their mee krab (thin, crispy noodles, sweet/savory appetizer) and their cashew nut chicken are sooooo yummy. the servers are always very kind and attentive, and the decor of the place is beautiful. my family has tried almost all the appetizers as well, and they're all delicious. can't wait to try the desserts! i highly recommend!!!

This is definately my favorite thai restaraunt lately and I love everything about it. Their service is friendly and happy, food is always amazing, and even the restaraunt itself is decorated in a way that is comfortable and very sophisticated. LOVE IT.
(5)Brandilynn V.
This is the best Thai place in the surrounding area (with a wide circumference). The pad see ew is to die for! You can request it as spicy as you'd like and it can get pretty hot, but it's soooo good. Great with a Thai iced tea to wash it all down. Yummy chinese broccoli which is not always served with it at other restaurants. Nice size portions and friendly service. My sister is a regular and they always give her free drinks with her purchases. Love this place!
