My last recommendation was all about the fabulous ribs I get whenever I come to the Stuft Pizza. Today, I decided to try something else. We arrived at 5:45pm which gave us 15 short minutes to order off the happy menu. Our server could not have been more considerate and gave us a title extra time to take our order. Their happy hour menu is incredible. Way too many choices but here is what I ordered... 2 order of Riblets were fabulous...an order of the portobello mushroom was fabulous ...ordered the garlic chicken lettuce wraps also fabulous...side order of the roasted sweet corn also fabulous. So, I had 4 items from the HH menu that were all fabulous! Riblets+Portobello mushroom+Garlic chicken lettuce cups+Roasted sweet corn= FABULOUS MEAL LOVE THIS PLACE. WISH WE HAD ONE BACK HOME. Peter

I walked in with high hopes at 4:45 on a Friday. The hostess was not welcoming at all. She took our name and said it's a 25 min wait. Her tone was just blah. So that wasn't a great start. We waited 25 min and then when they took us to our table it was not even finished being cleaned. So when I say down my booty got wet. The waiter was great. We have a baby so we needed to hurry and he was very accommodating. The low review was just because the two girls up front that just didn't make us feel welcome.

I've lived in La Quinta for 2 1/2 years it wasn't until earlier this month that I finally tried Stuft Pizza and now I've had it 3 times! Lol. I love pizza! And Stuft in old towne does it right! I do prefer the one in La Quinta vs PD I think La Quinta's tastes a bit better and maybe it's because they've been open longer. Prices are very reasonable! Went it last night at 4:30 on a Saturday and there was a wait! That's great! Glad you are busy! We had 3 adults and one kid walked out with a $50 tab and yes we were Stuft! Our server was buried but did a good job and was very friendly. Have also had a girl server in the bar who was a bartender too and she's not friendly. She needs to cheer up and put a smile on her face. Her attitude does effect customers! Anyways I will keep returning!

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Stuft while visiting friends at PGA West. We stopped for dinner at Stuft (party of six) First of all, the menu is huge and diverse. We had the spaghetti, lasagna, two kinds of pizza, and fish & chips. The dishes were excellent. Our service was also very good (we were seated in the bar at one of the high tops). The wine list at this restaurant is awesome and was a great surprise. Being from the wine country, we were duly impressed. The atmosphere seemed fun and energetic. Overall, a good time was had by all.

Staying at embassy suites across the street on business, yelped to see what was good close to the hotel and stuft came up. It was packed!! We waited almost an hour for a table. I was really good though. I ordered the meatloaf, on the menu it says the meatloaf has a 'suft twist' the twist is, they chop up a whole pepperoni pizza and add it to the meatloaf. You couldn't taste it and the meatloaf had the consistency of cafeteria meatloaf however it had really good flavor. My husband had the meatball sliders, they were bomb!

Good food with great prices for happy hour. Can be pretty crowded during popular seasons.

I've been here more than a handful of times and everytime I come the staff is great! The food is always on point! I've seen previous post about the pizza not being good, but it's delish pizza... Try most pizzas they have to offer, it's hot, fresh and crispy crust! The only thing that I didn't not like was their chevelas, if u don't know it's Clamato juice w choice of beer (modelo), lemon and Worcestershire sauce and lemon... Now if u don't know, now you know, your welcome

Great food. Great drinks. They have an amazing happy hour. Jenna was our server and was perfect. We had the best wings and ahi. The burgers were on point. They had a great local beer on draft la quinta brewing. Get early because it slammed when we went.

Everyone loves Stuft!! From friends and family, everyone I've talked to loves this place! The pizzas, specifically the blackened chicken, are excellent! Adults and kids like it...which leads to the one problem: the wait! If we can't get there by 4:50, we don't go. After 5:00 it can easily be a 60+ minute wait! They have many TVs around so if you have sports fans then it's perfect. They may not focus on you while watching the TV, but they'll be happy. They have a good happy hour menu. I've had the meatball sliders, Korean tacos, and breadsticks with 3 sauces. All delicious! Food is excellent. It's loud so it's good for kids. Prices are reasonable. Just go early!!!

A huge menu but nothing that really stands out that I have tried. In particular the Napa Valley Pizza was a soggy mess with no flavor. I am in La Quinta for business several months this year and really wanted to like this place as a couple of people recommended it to me. The wings were excellent and the flatbread was good, other than that of the 10 + items we have ordered were just barely ok. Several items including the soggy pizza went in the trash. Not anywhere near worth the calories.

Wow! This is the first time I've eaten here, and it will not be the last! I had a giant meatball sandwich with fries that melted in my mouth! Juicy meatballs and tons of cheese! The sliders were perfect in every way..only could eat two, and only half the sandwich, so pretty much enough good food for left overs. Our server, Joey, was outstanding! He made sure to suggest menu items, refilled the drinks, and got to go containers and also checked on our experience two bites into it. Excellent service all around! The manager also cleared our plates, what a plus! Love the team work vibe! I grabbed a menu to go so I can pick my next meal there which will be soon! Great job! :-)

We've been regulars here for years and still enjoy the place. Good food, reasonable prices (especially on the wine), adequate service. My only beef is that they have gradually decreased the size of their large pizzas. They are more like a medium sized pizza. For almost $20 for a large plain cheese thin crust pizza I expect a truly large pizza. I've watched any number of restaurants around the country cut the size of their portions. This is a trend that was likely suggested by some genius consultant. If it continues more of us will just choose to eat at home.

Gotta come back again soon for the awesome selection of beers by the bottle alone! Came by on a whim to watch the Giants vs Cowboys game last week and sat down in the lively though somewhat cramped bar area. Beyond the alcohol, my friends and I opted for "The Napa Valley" which was the most unique combination of toppings including everything from bacon and caramelized onions to slow-cooked apples and brie(!). This came on thin crust and that was certainly the way to go. Not excessively greasy and one of the most complex gatherings of flavors I've tasted on a pizza...which should come as no surprise given the ingredients. Service was a bit sluggish, though very friendly and understandable considering the full house.

It is crowded for a reason. Best casual option in Old Town La Quinta. You won't regret going here and not too expensive.

We picked it up tonight for a Wednesday before Thanksgiving dinner and joined the rest of the area doing the same. The parking, line and wait was wild, but it worked out in the end. Everyone enjoyed the simple but tasty pizza. You won't fall in love, but it will satisfy. For simple pizza and wing pickup I'll go back. Only complaint was that they left the sauce off of the wings.

Stayed at the Embassy Suites across the street .. Very short walk. Food was good and prices very reasonable. As we were four ladies, we especially appreciated that you could order smaller portions. We also split the beet salad which was good and highly recommend their pizzas. Others at our table had the crab cakes, spaghetti, portobello mushrooms...all had positive reports. The outdoor heated patio is a treat..!

I can't see how people like this place. I've have given it 3 tries and the food is mediocre at best. I think it's more like cafeteria quality food. Service is always poor. I think there is too much on the menu for them to do a good job on anything.. Can't seem to figure out why the word "pizza" is in the name- pizza here is average. You're better off at Pizza Hut.

The best....simply the best! We have never had a bad meal here...tried tons of different dishes and all are excellent! Can often be hard to get seating however you can usually find seating in the bar area if so..always a fun and friendly area as well

Manager is rude and unethical . Sat in the main room at diner with my family. I was watching the saint week 3 preseason game on the only screen in the room showing the game. The manager came up and changed the channel and I said I was watching it. He said the man who just sat down , an hour after I got there wanted NASCAR . NASCAR was on the tv at the opposite wall. The damn manager said it's only preseason and laughed at me . I will never eat there again. I'm a local and I frequent the restaurant regularly.he said he would Change it back after half time but it was the only tv that had the game. How would I know when half time was over? I paid and as I was walking out the 3 rd quarter was on . The manager lied.

Pizza and Fish tacos were very good! We are staying in Palm Desert and drove here for good pizza. It was worth it. I was expecting deep dish (per the restaurant name) but instead it's thick crust (but very good) pizza. We ordered the vegetarian. Plenty of sauce, fresh ingredients and the crust is very tasty. We'll be back.

Came here on a Saturday night and this place was very lively! And pretty much one of the only places still open when I got there at 6pm haha. It was packed when I first arrived but we were seated pretty quickly...within 15 minutes. My group got a half meatball pie/half napa valley pizza to share and also a new orleans chicken and shrimp pasta. The food was great! And even more so because we were all starving. The napa valley pizza was interesting...it had slow-cooked apples as a topping. I normally don't like fruits on my pizza but the combination here worked for me. It was a slightly odd but unique taste. The pasta was also pretty good :) they did not skimp on the chicken and shrimp. I would definitely come back if I were craving pizza. Their happy hour deals look pretty good too!

This review is for their take-out division. The only reason I gave them three stars is that the pizza was very good. The salad just so-so. The fail was in the take-out order and pickup. I ordered online and gave my credit card # for a pick up at 5pm. I arrived 1/2 hour early due to a change in my schedule and they told me they didn't have an order for me. I pulled up their confirmation email and she told me that she'd see what her manager could do. He found the order in the system and they assured me that it would only be 20 minutes (still on time for 5pm); 30 minutes at the most. It had taken 10 minutes to get to this point already. Then I was informed that the online system was down and that they had been unable to charge the credit card. I gave them a different card and was assured that if the first card was charged they would issue a credit after 7-10 business days! I should have left, but I couldn't get any food at that point that would put me on time. I finally got my food at 5:25 which totally ruined the surprise get together. I won't be back.

Great food, can never get into the bar during happy hour, always packed. This is a very lively and loud restaurant, so if your looking for someplace quiet wait for it to get cooler and try the patio. They make the best steak salad and kid friendly.

Tasty pizza & salads. We shared a Hawaiian & Heavyweight pizza. The meat is very flavorful. We also shared the Cajun Ahi salad and chicken Cobb. The Cobb was ordinary, but the Ahi salad was great. There was plenty of tuna to share. This place was close to house we were staying at, which was convenient.

Stuft Pizza has the best happy hour in town! They have 13 different beers on draft, a decent wine offering and 36 food items on their happy hour menu. We have tried lots of dishes and have yet to have a bad one. Today it was volcano wings and prosciutto flatbread. The volcano wings did not disappoint! They were pretty darn spicy, my husband just laughed as I grabbed my wine to cool off my mouth. The prosciutto flatbread was delicious. Not too salty but just tasty. Stuft pizza is a constant in La Quinta.

La Quinta Stuft Pizza is always excellent - service and food. Tried the new one in Palm Desert and was terribly disappointed with the food AND the service. Will not eat there again. Sometimes expanding is not a good idea....

Came here for lunch. I ordered an appetizer immediately with our drinks. 10 minutes later out waitress comes back with our drinks and takes our order. Another 10 mins goes by and our app never comes out. I ask and she says that it coming right out but I could tell she completely forget to put the order in. The all arrives with our food. I ordered the spinach salad which was just alright. Nothing amazing and I felt the calamari was just thrown on top. Then trying to get out check and a box took forever. The place was NOT busy so to summarize, the food was just okay but the service is horrible!

They were busy for a Tues night off season. Service was great- If you are hungry I recommend a salad first as they come out pretty quick while you are waiting for your pizza. I got the chicken lettuce wraps and hubby got the Cesar salad and small original pizza. All the food was good - especially the pizza. We will be back. :).

Ceasar salad, wine and Pizza (either crust) = Great dinner. Prefer outside seating, away from noise and activity inside. Busy bar area w tv's. Dining area inside rather plain, like a cafeteria. No ambience. Our new favorite spot for pizza-best in the desert!

Garlic lettuce wraps are great. Only issue: the lettuce cups are really small. Chicken avocado sandwich with green bean fries, good. Issue: lettuce wilted before we are it? Strange. Large portions. Worth the prices, which are not bad.

Love the food. They work with our group of eight on seating. But service is really slow, I think it is the kitchen. The waiter was on top of it. Meatball sliders are an amazing $ deal.

By far the only restaurant to go to in La Quinta!! Bartenders and servers are the nicest in town..well managed! Consistently good food and such a fun atmosphere! Can't wait to go back.

I'm not overly impressed with this place. I'll go back and give it another try, but I've been here a few times and am always wishing for better. The service is mediocre at best, and the food isn't anything spectacular. I've had the thai pizza, and that was probably the best thing so far. I've had their bolognese, and it was less than impressive. I make better. Simple house salad isn't that good. My husband had a pepperoni pizza and it looked like a 5 year old made it. We couldn't believe it. The pepperoni looked TERRIBLE!! But it's got good location and good atmosphere. Good happy hour.

First time going here. Waited for about 25 min to get seated but it was busy so no biggie. Wine list at the place is amazing. Some real high end Cabernets not much over winery cost. We opted for a couple glasses of Franciscan Cabernet which was excellent the pours were very generous. Waitress was great and we ordered a medium Hawaiian pizza, meat lasagna and the ahi stack appetizer. All the food was excellent and I recommend this place for sure. All said and done, bill was $67 and we were stuffed!! Lol

Food is good and reasonably priced - especially the Happy Hour menu - but the noise level inside is unbearable. Everyone ends up shouting! You'll also wait quite a while for a table if you don't get there by 5:00. I'll only go back much later and sit at table on the patio outside.

Just had lunch here. Looked all over for pizza. Even drove to Indio (yikes) and skipped Ciros because of the exterior (run down 70''s storefront) stuffed not bad environment. Managers watchful. Sports TV and music, huge misted patio. However, pizza dough, if it was fresh, (which I doubt) held no body. From the center out, SOGGY! Blech. Ingredients just need a better base. Might try it again if someone can post they had a better experience than this.

My wife and I ate there the other night. We experienced great service and food, as usual, but on one dish, the sauce was prepared with too much white wine and it gave the dish a 'sour' taste. The server noticed that we hadn't finished it (but picked out the shrimp!) and questioned us as to why. Then, without asking, the manager (Ryan) came over to discuss. He immediately looked at the dish and saw that the sauce was prepared incorrectly and made everything good with us. We are appreciative of this restaurant and that's why we always eat there - it's a good place to go!

Really nice patio, dog friendly. Wifi doesn't work on patio. Great beer selection. Fried green beans were delicious. We had gluten free pizza, veggie style. Yum!

Great Pizza, poor service. We really enjoyed the food here, this restaurant came highly recommend for their pizza and the food did not disappoint. The service however was lacking. We had to ask a total of 4 times to have the TV turned to the tennis tournament that was being played locally. It was odd to us that such a big time event being played so close to the restaurant would not be on in the first place and even more odd that it took over 20 minutes to turn the channel. We won't be back.

we had a weekend sales training in la quinta and had our first night dinner at stuft pizza. we had a party of near 40, and had reservations made in advance. reservations were for 8, we didn't really get seated til about 8:20-30. i didn't get my food til about 9:40.. i was hungry and grumpy so perhaps my stars are a little less than what they should be.. i ordered the new orleans chicken and shrimp pasta. you go to a pizza place and order pasta.. okay, maybe i set myself up. but there was no chicken in my pasta. only shrimp. it was also very bland, i pretty much doused my meal with sriracha and managed to eat all the shrimp and half of the pasta. my coworker next to me ordered the chicken alfredo, and again, no chicken. maybe there was a chicken shortage or something that night, but it would have been nice to get a warning. i did, however, try the bbq chicken pizza, and YES there was chicken, and YES it was delicious! if the rest of their food tasted the way that bbq chicken pizza did, i would have given this place 5 stars hands down.

One of our favorite and go to place in town. Staff are friendly, food always great! Love the chill atmosphere! I always get there " summer salad" "BBQ chicken pizza"

This is our favorite pizza place. In my opinion, a trip to stuft pizza is wasted if you don't order the Gouda Chicken Pizza! Trust me... it's amazing! And kudos to the bartenders for being creative! I wasn't sure what I wanted to drink one night and the server asked me a few questions about what I liked and didn't like, then came back with a yummy drink the bartender concocted. Definitely recommend!

We are big fans of Stuft pizza, the food is great! Great atmosphere, great bar, great service--to a point. I won't be returning to this location due to the experience I recently had. The most unpleasant service of my life from a young oriental girl; I believe her name was Tabatha or Tatyana?? She seemed new. Anywho, she was extremely pleasant to my husband, almost tooo pleasantly flirtatious, to the point of making me slightly uncomfortable, she was extremely rude to me!! When I asked for simple details on a menu item, she ended my conversation with a scoff and suggested I just get a salad! She acted like I had no idea what I was talking about. Ican take this with a grain of salt, however the overall service we received was extremely poor!!! Not only did she forgot our order, we had to pick up our own drinks from the bar because of how slow it was taking! A server should not make taking a cellphone call or text a priority over her customers no matter the circumstance. I don't know what to suggest I just needed to turn somewhere to vent my frustration! Such a disappointment because I used to love this place!!

We had our family birthday dinner here. My husband and I shared calamari spinach salad and Napa valley pizza. Calamari salad had tomatoes and diced mango which make it little sweet but go well with Italian type dressing. Napa valley pizza has apples, mushrooms, Canadian bacon, Brie cheese and caramelized onions. I've never had a pizza with theses combination and it was delicious! Server was very friendly and great service!

Whenever we're in La Quinta we'll stop here at least once. I'll admit I've never had anything else to eat here other than the pizza, but they do it so well- I can't imagine having anything else. Tip: If you visit during peak season, expect a wait. This place is always packed and they don't take reservations. However, you can call 15 minutes before you arrive, they'll put your name on a list and you can usually get in with a minimal wait.
(4)
Jeremy A.
Got takeout from here so I cant speak for the dining service but holy crap was this place busy. It took like 10 minutes just to pickup an order that I called in ahead of time due to the people ahead of me in line. This isnt something i think is a negative as they had the system down pretty well. Their pizza is pretty much deep dish style that I found to be pretty greasy but tasted ok. I had the seabass picatta though which was my favorite thing on the menu along with the greek salad that id definitely recommend. The pizza is a bit pricey so although its their namesake, id look elsewhere on the menu along with hitting them up for happy hour specials which they had well advertised when I stopped in to get my food.

If you would have asked me to write a review about this place prior to today, it would have received a 4. Despite the wait times (35 minutes or longer) every time we go and the LOUD atmosphere, we always enjoyed going here several times on each visit to La Quinta. Until today. We ordered Gorgonzola Chips, which we had ordered several times previously. They came out burnt and tasted even worse than what they looked. The waitress agreed that they were overdone and offered to have the chefs remake the order. Great - no problems thus far. My wife offered to share her meal while I waited. Our second order took about 10 minutes to arrive with portions burnt (cheese literally burnt into the chip and BLACK) while other portions were undercooked and soggy with grease. This is where things went South. I was simply going to push the plate aside and quietly finish sharing my wife's meal and leave. However, the waitress asked how the new order was, so I showed her the burnt chips, cheese burnt into the chips, and the soggy, greasy chips that were limp. She did offer to take them back and have me order another items which I did. 1/2lb cheeseburger. My wife was just about done with her meal ( I had finished my portion) and we thought it would be a quick turnaround. 20 minutes later, after a new table was seated AND served I asked for our waitress who seemed to just start ignoring us. My wife was done with her meal and I sure wasn't going to wait any longer to eat by myself. We had had enough. We just wanted to get our check and leave. As the waitress came up with the burger, she asked if we still wanted the burger. We said no just get the check. At this point she seemed nonchalant and indifferent about making us feel any better about the horrible food which was served from their kitchen. She brought the check and stated curtly, sorry you didn't like it. There are many other fine restaurants in La Quinta that we can enjoy great food and get great service. Unfortunately, Stuft Pizza will no longer be one of our stops. Horrible food, worse service and unconcerned management. If we want average food with lousy service, we'll be sure to head back for more of the same.

I had the thin Quattro stagioni pizza. Crust was good, but pizza sauce was overly salty, olives were from the can, artichokes were from a jar! Hubby had an ahi steak and loved it! Honestly, I thought it was better than their most popular pizza!! But then why are they a pizza restaurant? pizzas are btw listed on like the last page or so. And don't get me started on how "The Four Seasons" pizza should have four different sections, not have ingredients altogether and low in quality! I also think that the menu has an identity crisis, there are way too many different items, (Korean tacos???) and no real appetizers (unless I missed them)! It's good that they have small plates though! Inside it's as loud as in Yardhouse! We sat outside, had to swat flies pretty much! Service was pretty slow!

The name of the restaurant is somewhat misleading. Good selection of beer. Roasted beet salad, angus steak, thin crusted pizza. Everything tasted great!

Favorite locals place, most of our out of town friends & guests love the atmosphere as well as the food, which rarely disappoints. Steak & Gorgonzola salad is delicious, (on a piadina of course!) and the Pizza is home made and Pizza selections are pretty unique and delicious~ the Monroe is really good, as well as the Meatball Pizza and my husband's favorite is the summer salad. Can be a bit crowded so call ahead for seating if its a FRI or SAT evening in season. All in all, great choice for families as well as locals.
(4)

Ribeye steak with Jalapeno corn is the bomb! You wouldn't need a steak sauce at all! Very tasty! And the price is so right! We sat outside because the inside dining area was loud (just like what the yelper said) and it was so breezy and cool out that we stayed longer after dinner just to enjoy it! Service was good!

3 stars to me is a C+ this place is way better than pizza Hut but not worth a special trip if you are craving pizza. Nice atmosphere and good service depend ok no on the server you get.

Worst take out service ever... Just don't do it. They can't get orders right or have them ready on time to save their lives. I don't even want to give them one star.

Definitely one of the best pizzas we've had - pepperoni, sausage & mushroom. Thin crust, but not too thin; great selection of both beer and wine - including regular rotations of better IPAs. Pepperoni is unique, unlike most pizzas places - crisp on the edges, very flavorful. Ahi also excellent - very fresh, tasty, in attractively arranged dish. Portion sizes are perfect. Good value - great food!

The five stars is for pizza and service only. As ive never eaten anything else there. Their ingredients seem fresh, good crust and good service.

I have been going to Stuft pizza for 7 years. A group of us meet every Thursday evening with our dogs. We have great food and the best outside patio in the desert. We love the staff, they make you feel welcomed and comfortable. It feels like family.

ONE STAR for our extreeeeeeemly rude waitress Kahlia!!!!! The bus help made up for her lack of manners. The food was fine and would return there again to request a different server. Best of luck with that attitude!!!

AMAZING PIZZA .... service sucked, had to flag down waitress each time I needed something. Got a starter salad that we wanted first before pizza came....we waited and waited and couldn't find our waitress. 20 minutes later we got pizza and salads at same time. Boo

Ordered the chopped Cobb salad and a pepperoni pizza for takeout. They had my order ready when they said they would. The food was good but it was nothing special. It got the job done. I've had way worse and I've had better. With that being said, I would go back.

Stuft definitely has the feel of a bar & grill. It's usually pretty busy, kind of loud, and food is a wide variety - something for everyone, I guess. They do have a nice patio surrounding the whole restaurant, so you can enjoy the nice La Quinta weather. We've mostly gone for happy hour when they have a great deal on beer and reduced price on many food items, including a few bucks off their pizza. Food is mass-produced, but pretty good quality for a place like this. Definitely not the best food in La Quinta, but not bad for a bar & grill.

Value for the hard earned money= **stars ($18 for med classic pizza) Taste of pizza= *** stars (it was ok but for $18, I expected it to be better than ok) Ambience= **** stars (nice set up, bar kinda sticky, loud and noisy) Service= ** stars (it was super busy and they have limited servers) Parking=* star (public parking) Popular with tourist and locals for happy hour

Some of the best pizza I've ever had! Great menu, lots of choices. Excellent food for dine-in or take-out. Good portions. Dining room can get cramped when their busy. Nice outside patio seating available. Nice atmosphere.

This was our fifth time eating here since 2006, but several times we have used the take out that is real easy. Tonight we decided to sit inside, for the half hour wait I decided to get a cocktail! bad idea, how do they say short pour or something, it was coke and coke? anyway we were seated after the wait and ordered pasta and flatbread, followed by some of the fried green beans. I decided to order the "Stuft Sangria" for dinner, once again bad idea! Wow not sure what was happening?, my wife agreed after a taste, red wine, some ice and water $8.50! The food arrived and everything was real good, every time I took a drink of my sangria, I was Ike why didn't I send this back. Oh we'll the food was good as usual, just get a bottle of bear or a glass of wine unless you know someone at the bar that can make a drink...

I wish I could give stuft pizza 3.5 stars. The staff is friendly, it's conveniently located, and the beet salad was pretty good. However, considering that the place has the word 'pizza' in it's name, pizza really isn't their specialty. It's not terrible. It's ok. But I expected more, especially considering the price. I'm pretty sure I'll go there again but will steer clear of the pizza.

Tried a pepperoni pizza found the pepperoni lacking in the usual bite that I am accustomed to. The pizza sauce was bland and detracted from the overall taste. Getting to the take out door was an d peri emcee in navigation in and of itself parking was very limited had to walk around two sides if the building to find the front door and then was lead thru the dining room outside down the sidewalk to another door. Getting to the "take out" door was an exercise in patience. I have eaten better pizza at cheaper places

The food gets a three but everything else was a four or five. The staff was FANTASTIC- one of the best waiters I've had in a long time. The atmosphere is nice as well. Very easy walk from the Embassy Suites if you walk over. The food was ok. It definitely was not bad, however it was just sort of ehhh...The calamari appetizer seemed more like giant clam strips. They were formed into long strips and I've never seen calamari that can get into that shape. The dinners ranged from good to below average. Would I come back? mmmmm....maybe, but I'd probably try something else...

This place looked liked it could have some potential, but after the service received and the food ate, I was disappointed. This is based on a carry-out order so I can't speak to the service if you dine-in, but when I placed my order on the phone the woman was very short and got it wrong multiple times (this wasn't during a peak time either). Once I went to pick it up they told me they didn't have an order for me (that's just wonderful). I told them my name and they asked me repeatedly if my name was something else, then proceeded to tell me they gave my order to someone else (this would be a problem). However, they just took my name down wrong and still had my order, the whole time the staff behind the counter was less than hospitable. After everything was squared away, I finally got back to dig in and what a disappointment. The pizza tastes like an overpriced Digiorno (you know, a frozen pizza from the supermarket). Would NOT recommend this place.

3.5 stars. Went for lunch, sat on the patio, really relaxing atmosphere which was nice. Ordered the pick two lunch special that included a drink for 9.99 which was a good deal in my opinion. Tried the summer salad which i thoroughly enjoyed, but picked around all of the chicken which was blech. The fett alfredo was not bad but not good either. I have had pizza from here previously which was really tasty but wanted to try something new. Server (jennifer) had an attitude only towards our table because we all ordered lunch specials. She also did a lousy job refilling drinks which is always annoying

We walked around a bit looking for a place to eat and decided on Stuft because of the Yelp reviews. We had a horrible server and okay to very good food depending on who you asked. My friend and I had the Ortega chili french dip sandwich. Super greasy but tasty, definitely get it on the roll if you can, the jalapeno-cheddar bread is thin sliced and soaks up grease like no tomorrow. Friends said the beet salad and the cobb salad were both very good. I regret not getting a pizza, all of the pies coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. Our server was pretty much non existent; it was pretty busy to be fair, but she walked by us on the way to and from the kitchen the entire night and barely acknowledged us except to take our order(which she didn't do very well) and to drop the check. Sides were mixed up, silverware was dirty, drinks were forgotten, appetizers came out with entrees, and the birthday cheesecake was brought out by a food runner without a candle or any acknowledgement of the celebration. All in all not a bad place, any improvement on the service would bring it up a star, as would ordering a pizza.

We were having a birthday party (starting at happy hour) with 13 people that went without a glitch. Our server, Jennifer, and her team were attentive, friendly and accommodating for a rather picky group. Birthday boy (87yo) was very pleased on all fronts, from the prompt and friendly greeting to the delicious fresh food and all the little requests in between. And if you can please that one customer, the rest of us can merely second those results! Thank you Stuft Pizza and Jennifer.

There really should be a NO STAR option. Went there for dinner tonight and had the absolute WORST service ever. Our server's name was Ian, and he was one of the most sarcastic, arrogant, and insulting waiters I may have ever had. The meal first started off with him making an absolutely horrific joke about the current conflicts going on in Gaza when I inquired about the "Hebrew Black IPA", which is obviously 100% uncalled for. I should have left at that moment. The entire time of being served, Ian was extremely pompous and made me feel like I was interrupting him the entire time. I ordered a salad and a pizza. The lettuce was extremely wilted and seemed like it should have been thrown out a few days ago. Horrible! When the pizza finally came out, it was cold and the cheese was just awful. By the end of the meal, I honestly just couldn't wait to get out that restaurant. After the meal, I then approached the manager, Rick, and told him about my horrible experience. He did absolutely nothing and couldn't even offer me a sincere apology. I will never be returning to this restaurant and I urge that no one else does either. Customer service is the most important thing to me and should be to anyone who is going to spend money at a restaurant. You know that when the manager is this horrible and doesn't know how to treat patrons, standards need to be raised. Trust me, there are WAY better places to eat in the desert.

This would have been a four stars place with good food and service. But I bumped it to five stars since they have a great patio area and allowed well-behaved dogs to dine with us. Very busy even on a Monday night. Would highly recommend!

Bad service, they screwed up our order and delivered one of our pizzas while we waited until the mistake was fixed. Didn't say sorry, didn't compensate the check, acted like it never happened. Pizza wasn't very good, either. Not going back

A local favorite! All of the other Old Town restaurants close early on week nights because they cant compete with this place. Their happy hour is the best in town. Huge mugs of cold beer for $3 and a rotating tap of exotic brews so be sure to ask what the flavor of the week is. The pizza is better than average and I suggest the Margarita on thin crust. Also, the green bean fries are to die for. The service is average for a busy place. Don't try and go on a weekend during peak meal times because your likely to not get a seat at all. They have two huge patios, Smoking and Non smoking which also allow pets -a huge plus in my book!

Went to Stuft Pizza Bar and Grill on the recommendations of La Quinta locals. We went to Stuft Pizza around 4:45 p.m. on a Wednesday. We were seated right away. When the waitress came to our table to order our drinks, we asked her how the Kilkenny beer was. The waitress was very friendly and provided us a sample of the Kilkenny beer. The beer was not to our liking, but that is a personal preference. Now let's get down to the nitty gritty of the review. We ordered Meatball Sliders, Asiago Mac 'N' Cheese and The Heavyweight pizza. By far, the Meatball Sliders were the star of the course, The meatballs were nice and moist and had the right amount of sauce. The Meatball Sliders (4 sliders) are served with their Stuft homemade marinara sauce. The Asiago Mac 'N' Cheese was good but not great. The Asiago Mac 'N' Cheese was served with penne pasta topped with parmesan cheese. The Mac 'N' Cheese was overall cheesy. Last, we were served The Heavyweight pizza. The Heavyweight pizza is a thin crust pizza with pepperoni, ham, salami, italian sausage and meatballs. The Heavyweight pizza is your basic meat lovers pizza. Nothing special, but still good..again not great. Overall, I would go back to Stuft Pizza again. Make sure you go early as when we were leaving, there was a crowded patio waiting to be seated.

Fantastic! So worth the drive and wait. I had the salmon and the jalapeño corn side. I wanted to lick my plate when I was through. The house salad was served cold and crunchy. Ice cream for dessert. What a nice way to finish a hard day at work. Our server was attentive and sweet. I can certainly recommend this place. Dave.

So good!!! They have gluten free pasta and pizza too! Their wine list is gigantic and the beer is served nice and cold! Menu is diverse and the gluten free pizza is excellent! Service is great and there are two large patios for outdoor dining. Yum!!!

Important to note that my rating is based on this place being an inexpensive pizza spot. Not white table cloth. I am a bit of pizza snob and I think the thin crust pizza rocks. I had the date and bacon.Yum. Also a very good salad with great flavors. I hear this place is packed all the time.

We ordered take out while we were on vacation. We are pretty picky when we eat out and are not easy to please. We picked up a med pepperoni, a med classic, stuffed sticks, a Greek salad which came with "bread". I am normally a New York style person and don't like fast food pizza. This pizza is more gourmet. It was hot and ready. The pizza is bready and the toppings are what makes the pizza. The classic was pretty good. The pepperoni wasn't great. The stuffed sticks and "bread" are just pizza dough cooked thin with either cheese or herbs. Neither are worth paying for. The Greek salad was average and sparse. If I had to order here again, which I probably wouldn't, I'd get the classic it was worth my money.

After waiting 30 minutes for the table, we were seated. Service was very slow and the food was below average. We ordered fried zucchini with onion rings as an appetizer and they came with the zucchini ice cold in the middle, we told the server when she eventually came to our table and she said she would redo them. Our pizzas were served, midway thru dinner she brought a new very well done fried zucchini but at that point we were on to our main courses and did not eat the zucchini. She never said anything and charged us full price for the entree. This place used to be good and fun but it was slow, loud and the food was weak. We will never return!

Never a disappointment; always yummy. Only issue is the wait, even sometimes in off season. Both eclectic menu and friendly staff are better than most. Especially the female managers, who are exceptional.

Actually I almost gave it 3 stars but decided to give it a better rating and a second chance. My friend lives nearby and had extolled the virtues of this place for it's outside patio and great sundown watching spot and the excellent happy hour prices. We got sat at the outside south patio quickly, much to my liking. The waitress bought our waters and menus in a timely fashion. The small tables are a little cramped and up against the railing which I was not really happy about. Anyway, I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza small which only came with a thin crust. I wanted the thick, oh well. There was more than enough chicken on it for a change but not enough cheese or BBQ sauce. It was pretty good though and I would order again asking for more cheese. My friend's l/2 lb burger was delicious and perfect. All was going well until we asked our waitress to bring a heater as it was a grey day and getting quite chilly. Her attitude changed and she seemed very annoyed and rolled the heater over to the table so hard I thought for sure it was going to crash down on my head. She snippily lit it and stomped away..what was that about? We are very polite people who had asked for the heater in the nicest way possible. She then asked did I want a refill on my drink but then never refilled it or came by with another. We are mystified at the change in attitude which was quite apparent. Maybe she had a tiff with the manager or someone but she took it out on us which was quite uncomfortable. Since we both understand tipping; we still left over 20% each since our bills were not too high...it made the visit unpleasant for me for my first visit there and not likely to highly recommend it to anyone else!!! Brrrr. ps I would also recommend sitting outside on the patio because the inside was quite crowded and VERY VERY noisy. I would not want to be inside for very long!

Surprisingly good prices on large pizza - $20 for a large Hawaiian pizza that was big enough for 3-4 people. Nice and doughy. At prime dinner time on a Thursday the wait was 35 minutes. Call for reservations if you don't want to wait.

One of my favorite spots in La Quinta. Great outdoor patio - they even allow dogs. Great happy hour, large portions, and good food. If you get a salad, I recommend getting the dressing on the side - it's a little too much dressing for my taste. I was not super impressed with the Napa Valley Pizza - but all of the other pizzas I've tried have been really good.

I would only eat here again if I was starving and there was nothing else decent around. Clean and friendly enough but the menu is huge and the pizza is subpar. You have to search through every other type of cuisine before you get to the Pizza menu. Then it comes out and is just edible.

One of the best places in the desert. Pizza is awesome here and lots of variety. Servers are always on it unlike many places in the desert.

Best pizza, freshest toppings we have ever had on a pizza! Stupendous and yummy! Also the 2 tables surrounding our table on the patio had 2 large dogs who were NOT service animals. One was a pit bull mix and occasionally barked...NOT COOL! I shouldn't have to stop my meal to see about getting dogs away from me while I enjoy my dinner!

I have been here a few times while visiting family and I must say their pizza is good. Tonight was terrible though. I couldnt get an answer on how many calories or carbs in their skinny margarita (diabetic mom) and, I ordered the sea bass and it was hard as a rock so I sent it back. This was after waiting a long time for my food. After both my guests finished their meals my replacement still hadn't come out so I asked for it to go since we had already been there for awhile. I got my check before my seabass! When I got home I saw they paired it with rice, instead of the vegetables I ordered which they at least had right on the first order. The sea bass is still tough and chewy! They did comp it, however, this wasted my time. I will not be back.

Great local hangout for pizza, salad, pasta and great happy hour. Consistently good. Nice outdoor seating seeing the sunset. Great for a family inside but if you want a conversation try to sit outside. Its noisy! Its busy -even in the summer- and that is saying something!!!!

My boyfriend and I ate here over Memorial day weekend. The atmosphere is nice and this place is definitely popular. We sat on the patio, which is a huge bonus for a beautiful summer night. The service was friendly and relatively fast. We came in towards the end of the night and were pretty much alone on the patio. Service was attentive, without ever feeling rushed. They had a great beer selection. My disappointment came with the pizza. I ordered a small pizza, where I selected the toppings. It was all things that I normally like, but I just didn't care for the pizza. I'm not sure if it was the sauce or dough, but it was bland. I ate two slices and left the rest, focusing on my beer. This restaurant has many good review, so I think that it boils down to personal taste. I did not have a bad experience here, but I would definitely try a different restaurant on my next trip to the area.

We let you YELPERS pick our lunch while in La Quinta. We stayed at the resort, see that review. Many love Stuft, and as great pizza is probably hard to find in the dessert, this is probably an oasis. WHAT WE LIKED: The location is nice, and the outside seating is wonderful. It did take two sugar packets to make the table steady but the service shown like the sun and we liked it. The Korean Taco was indeed great and adventous for that kind of place. We liked the daring menu. The clean setting and nice kitchen was a pleasure to view. WHAT WE HAD BETTER HOPES: The Pizza, it's not bad, it's good but not great. The crust is awesome and the hearth oven makes it even better. The toppings seem great too! The fresh basil on the margarita was wonderful. The cheese, it was meltly and all but added nothing to the taste. The sauce? Well, we could not find it on either pizza. Cheese and crust and nothing in the middle. If it was on the pie we could not see it or taste it. A shame. Kuddos: Server asked if Jeff wanted his iced tea "to go" We left with a full cup of iced tea for the road. Would we go back? Sure, but I want extra sauce on that pie and oh BTW we asked for it extra thin and well done on a YELPER comment and it was a good slice of advice.

Dollar for dollar you can not get better food. Not to mention the service. There is a chain of LIL pizza stores all over California, However, the boss built this one for his personal use. If you don't try it at least once while staying in our little town, you have missed a great value......

I am an avid cyclist and my reward for a ride in the La Quinta area is the Napa Valley Pizza on the patio of Stuft Pizza. It is one of my all time favorite pizza's. In my just published book, enCYCLEpedia Southern California - The Best Easy Scenic Bike Rides (April 2014), I pair each ride with an ideal meal, and for the La Quinta rides, that was the winner -- I even included a photo of the pizza in the writeup! Although I have never had any other item here, others that have dined with me have said that the burgers are amongst the best in the valley, and the appetizers have looked delicious as well. Their menu is very diverse and extensive. They have special lunch and happy hour deals, which is perfect for the timing of a bike ride. I'm looking forward to stopping at the upcoming Westfield Mall location during bike rides in the Palm Desert area.

Stuft is the easy option if you want something good in a casual spot. I just find that the staff seems complacent most of the time. Some are friendly and some don't really care. As for the food, it's pretty good most of the time. I usually order the Cajun Shrimp small plate and I love it. I have their chopped salad every so often, but the bacon bits they put on it, horrible. I almost cracked my tooth on them because they were hard as stone. All in all, it's not at the top of my list of places to go, but not a bad option when you need something quick and easy.

The Mediterranean pizza, split 3 ways, makes for a perfect late lunch! Order a cold beer and chow down. The deliciousness that was The Mediterranean was topped with artichoke hearts, kalamata olive slices, chicken slices, with a pesto-type of sauce and tasty melty cheese. My mother, sister, and I were set up on their patio, perfectly shaded from direct sunlight but still able to enjoy the heat. Bottom line is that the pizza is fantastic, and Stuft offers a thin crust option which makes us happy.

Great food: Korean taco and pizza with arugula and roasted peppers. Food runner didn't know who ordered what.

Decent food. Good wine options. Good beer options. Service was ok. Menu selection is vast. Food quality was good. Happy hour is the selling point. Everyday from 3 to 6. The downfall is the noise. When the bar is full, or even half full, it gets noisy. This the 3 star rating.

Delicious! My husband actually told the waiter the poke stack was "the bomb" (Lol) and it was pretty amazing along with the pizza. Great atmosphere! We will defenitly be back.

I've been reading the reviews and have to say I'm shocked to see the negative reviews, particularly about the food. The person who says the pizza stinks and Pizza Hut is better can't possibly know what good pizza is, cause Pizza Hut is disgusting! I'm italian and cook everything, especially authentic italian food and homemade pizza from scratch, and I have to say that the pizza here was pretty good. We also had the Ahi stack, amazing! The meatball sliders were awesome and the lemon sorbet is delicious. We usually go during Happy Hour and our service has always been good. I can't comment on service that others have experienced, but we have never had any problems. Stuft Pizza is one of our favorite places to eat in the desert. And again, about the Pizza, we have ordered pizza from a number of small independent restaurants here in the desert, and so far have not found another pizza that I would buy a second time other than Stuft's. Other pizzas are greasy, doughy and overloaded with ingredients, but you won't get a pizza like that here. Double thumbs up for Stuft Pizza. We will be back again and again.

The food was great - having a hooker sit beside my husband at the bar was bizarre. Short black shorts - white underwear sticking out - waiting for someone to pay attention to her. Don't know if it worked or not. Food, as always, was great.

I ate here last night, very close to where we were staying in La Quinta, and thought well of both the service and food. In a new plush plaza development, an architectural attempt to create classic elegance in an otherwise bland desert town, Stuft resides in a high ceilinged, arched space with outdoor seating and indoor bar. There was a wait of 45 minutes for a table, so we were given a vibrating device that went off in about 10 minutes. We were taken outside and seated under heat lamps that helped to modify a very windy, blustery night. We ordered a thin crust pizza with tomatoes and fresh garlic. We also tried a less successful Ahi appetizer. Two bottes of Pelligrino, a good sized house salad, a small pizza and a sushi appetizer and the bill was around $40. The clientele is basically white, well dressed, of every age group. Just like the Hotel La Quinta, one doesn't seem to see the ubiquitous ethnicities who populate the rest of Southern California. Where are the tattoos, the shaved heads, the Latinos, the Armenians, the Blacks, the Asians, and the Obese Ones? I saw lots of blondes, ruddy-faced men, and happy families. As for the gay people, the only one I saw last night is writing this review. He noticed a very good looking busboy in the corner who looked somewhat like a young Matt Dillon. If you go here, look for him. He will make your visit more scenically enjoyable.

Probably our favorite restaurant in La Quinta! In season they are super busy so it can be hard to get a table which makes me so grateful for their take-out counter. Really, really good food! There is no other way to put it. Sometimes the service is mediocre but all around, a great restaurant.

What can I say, this place always rocks! Very consistent, been here many times over the last 4 years. Expansive menu has something for everyone, great beers and fun wines make for a great dining experience. Best to get there early and get a table outside, this place gets crazy busy with long wait times if you come too late.

The pizza is WONDERFUL!! I was disappointed I got a small pizza instead of a large. I also ordered the Ahi Tuna Poke Rolls and was NOT impressed. I sat out on the patio and it was great. I cant wait to go back! 3/27/13

Was in town for the weekend, and went to Old Town La Quinta to check things out there. Had a couple of other places in mind, and asked a shopkeeper where we should go. She recommended Stuft Pizza over both. We split a "Greek Salad" and a small "Classic" pizza. Boy were they great!! The Greek Salad was made up of a lot of great veggies, cheeses, olives and such but on the bed of "Piadina" an italian flatbread! It was amazing. Then came the pizza! It was covered in great toppings including whole marinated mushroom, etc. on again - the Piadina. Amazing lunch, with leftovers for later.

Good food. Poor service. I ordered a large to go order here. The bartender was so incredibly rude when I asked if she could simply write what is in each box on the box. She rolled her eyes at me and She gave me a look like I asked her to hand carry the meals back to my house for me in 115 degree heat. She literally said that was not something "they normally do". Lol. So much for customer service. For a two hundred dollar lunch order...she should have been a little more helpful knowing there is a hefty tip she could get for minimal work. I have not returned since!

This is a review by a vegetarian That's not thin-crust pizza. It's flat bread. Also it's way too topping centric. Extra-star for a surfeit of attractive servers.

FOOD POISONING! My friend and I came here during the ATP tennis tournament (3-18-12) because of the high reviews. On the recommendation of the server we ordered the blackened chicken. When we got their to pick up the pizza, she told us they forgot the chicken topping and took the pizza back in the kitchen to "sprinkle" the chicken on top. Looks like they must have not cooked that chicken. Body aches, diarrhea and vomiting ensue for both of us. We're healthy young men but I'm scared to think what might happen to the older folks who frequent this place. It could kill them. Also, the pizza itself was the greasiest I've ever eaten. (but tasted good).

This place is great its my second time here and both times it was rather packed out but we didn't have to wait long. The pizza is great and you get a rather large glass of red wine. The Padilla salads are great. Its all good and the waiters are very friendly to. I love this place.

I was out in the Low Down Dirty (aka Coachella Valley) a few weeks ago and hit up Stuft Pizza for diner. This used to be one of my spots back in the day when I lived out in the Low Down Dirty. Anyways, they have not changed at all...and the pizza was GREAT!!! I tried a new appetizer: Original Stuft Sticks & Dipping Sauce. It was my bad for assuming that this was a fancy name for cheese sticks or mozzarella sticks....it was really more like flat bread with cheese on top...nothing "original" about it. Next time I will pass on that and just order the pizza!!!!

I don't normally give five-star reviews, but this place really deserves it. I have never been less-than-satisfied walking out of this place. The drinks are a decent, medium size, but boy, are they solid! I've almost always gotten a large Chicken Pesto Pizza w/regular crust, but I've branched out a couple of times. The food always hits the spot. I love taking family and friends here, because I know they will like it. Oh! They always play the Knicks' games, too! Keep it up, Stuft Pizza!

I grew up near a Stuft Pizza and it had been years since I had been to one. I was so excited when I learned they had one near the La Quinta Resort. My hubby and I got my old time favorite, the Hawaiian with ham and pineapple. It was as yummy as I remembered it to be! Had a fun little date night there...food and service was fantastic!

Made a return trip to Stuft Pizza with my family, and this time we got there early (about 5pm) on a Friday night, got a table, and dined in. We had salad and pizza, and both were even better than our first trip (which was take out). Our waitress was on top of everything without being in the way. The anti-pasto salad was very good, and fed four adults. Got the Classic pizza on normal crust, and it was very good. The crust is really nice, good texture, and not heavy (I hate it when the crust fills you up and sits in the bottom of your gut.)
(4)
Jeff H.
I missed two days of work throwing up and other stuff I should not mention. I got to say, the pizza was really good though grease galore. I had the blackened chicken pizza. The thing is they forgot to re cook the ckicken or something. This should be critical when dealing with ckicken that sits out. I will never eat chicken on pizza again after this. 4.5 stars for the pizza -.5 for the grease -3.0 stars for food poisoning.

We stopped in for happy hour, and Stuft Pizza was pretty good! Our server was checking on our needs frequently, and the food was good. We ordered an Ahi Poke Roll, having never tried one before, and it was scary looking when they set the plate on the table. However, it turned out to be very very tasty; we will order that again. We then tried out the soup of the day which was delicious, and finished the meal with a house special pizza. We could see why they referred to it as a 'favorite' pizza. We had an overall good dining experience, and we will return to this establishment.

The pizza in this place is actually good. We ordered one pizza with thin crust and 2 light toppings and another with thick crust and several heavy toppings; both were great. If you're going to put several toppings on your pizza, order the thick crust because they pile on the toppings making for a very heavy slice! The service was pleasant, fast, the server was helpful and the family salad was great. We ordered 2 large pizza pies and one small child size cheese only pizza. I'm all for great pizza, but for almost $100 this delicious pizza and salad should have came with gold earrings!

fyi- the "thin crust" pizza here is really a flat bread pizza. i learned that important fact the hard way. serving staff is outstanding. they are really friendly and make you feel right at home. in terms of the pizza i think i'm being generous with the third star but you're in the middle of the desert so i think pizza options are pretty limited. the tomato sauce tastes like straight up tomato paste. i'm not sure why anyone would use tomato paste as the sauce but, again, you're in the middle of the desert where a cup of ice water is a miracle. throw in a slice of pizza from stuft and the next stop is a seat on the first manned mission to mars.

I first heard about this place through a co-worker who raved about how good it was. I've been here twice and LOVED it! Their pizzas are delicious and appetizers too. I came here with friends and sat outside (it was a little cold) but they have heaters. Our waitress was very attentive but kept coming over a little too much and interrupting our conversation. The time after that I went their for valentines day with my boyfriend. Our waitress was very nice and attentive without intruding to much. Service was great and we had a good time. This is definitely a little gem in la quinta cove, away from everything. A place I will go back to whenever I want some good pizza with relaxed atmosphere.

This place is awesome for it's name not so much for anything else. I've only been here three times however, I've never ordered the pizza. I've ordered everything else and well, it's not the greatest. The service is great and the time to be sat is minimal. I like the place itself as it offers a lot of tv's and what not. Sorta kinda borderline a sports cafe feel but a mature one to say the least.

Didn't make it to the table. When our short wait became indefinite because of a lack of high chairs, we chose to opt out for another restaurant.

My colleague & I were here for lunch yesterday & had delicious hot wings, pizza egg rolls, Greek salad & original pizza to share! It really hit the spot when we were craving pizza from Italy! Boy were we stuffed!!

Being from New York, I'm VERY picky when it comes to pizza. For what this place is though, I really enjoyed it. I got lamb and indian curry pie that came with goat cheese and roasted red peppers as well as the breakfast pizza with scrambled eggs, LOTS of bacon and hot sauce. Although certainly not the best pizza I've ever had, both were really tasty and I tried one pie with Canadian bacon and pineapple too that really good. The best part of the meal might actually have been the roasted artichoke we got for an app - good stuff!

I tried 3 places in old town LA Quinta and the count is now 2 strikes and a ball-Stuft being the ball. Decent food and service with reasonable prices. The patio is nice but I'll never get used to the idea of allowing dogs in an an eating area. The one next to us was well behaved and cute but had a doggy smell that overwhelmed everything else around it. Good selection of beers on tap. The previous reviews that talk about food poisoning are scary so I doubt I'll return. Are there any hits in Old Town?

We were here for a mini vaca and saw that they were hosting a taste of La Quinta event! I got to try their 2 types of lasagna, vege and meat, and also a salad. The salad alone i would go back for, it had grapes in it and gorganzola, can't remember the name....My favorite lasagna was the vege, so good and tons of veges!! The meat was just a bit too greasy for me!

When I was living in La Quinta, this was always a favorite place of mine to dine. It's a warm, slightly sports-barsy restaurant which was always a pleasure. I preferred to sit inside because the desert can be cool at night, even in summertime. However, as another reviewer noted, they do have heat lamps if you prefer to dine "al fresco." If you don't usually like vegetable pizzas, try one here. I did and became a convert.

Great outdoor dining area for happy hour and appetizers. Bring a sweater though. When the sun goes behind the mountains, it's chilly. They have heaters but...just in case. Casual dining. Food is good, atmosphere outdoors is great. We visit it three or four times a winter and haven't been disappointed yet.

Food: we split a medium pizza between the two of us and it was MORE than we could eat. Drinks: good wine; I think we got the house Chianti or Cabernet. Service: it was very busy so we had to wait to be seated. We finally took the first table we could get in the bar area. It took a while to get someone to our table since it was so busy, and our food took a little longer than expected to arrive. I guess that can be expected when you eat at a busy restaurant. I would definitely say it was worth the wait.

Great happy hour deals! The food was great and they have generous pours for their drinks. Artichoke was amazing, Ahi was delicious and the fish tacos were awesome!

One of the best pizza's I have eaten. We were planning on eating at Rosatis pizza in La Quinta, but their hours were a mess, so we chose Stuft and there are no regrets. Waitress was on top of things and very helpful. We were seated immediately and didn't wait long for the pizza. It has a bar and is a mid sized restaurant. I would definitely stop here for a bite again.

Situated conveniently in Old Town La Quinta, Stuft Pizza fits the bill for a tasty meal and lively libations. If you are looking for a quiet and serene setting this ain't the place as it's always busy and a bit acoustically challenged (the db can push polite conversationalists to the brink). That aside, get here early and enjoy a great happy hour with insanely inexpensive beer, wine, and well drinks. Matt the bartender is a hoot - I've been calling him "Short Pour" ever since noticing that he never fills my wine glass to the brim (I kid him that is why they make the wine glasses so tall). The food is way above average for the price as well. They make great salads, yummy pizza, and the service is friendly and snappy. Try the Pizza Scampi, it's a staple on my diet (OK., the word diet is strictly tongue in cheek). What's not to like about Stuft? Nothing unless you want quite, fine dining - then there are many alternative choices within walking distance. Enjoy - but as I mentioned earlier, get here early as this place is hopping busy for good reason - it hits the sweet spot!

Pizza was yummy and the atmosphere was nice...plenty of tv's and good for kids who can be a little noisy. Our server was also very friendly which is always a huge plus.

The have the BEST Whiskey drink. It's called a Royal Tea. It's so delicious! They have all sorts of yummy pizza that is pretty rare. I haven't seen those flavors on pizza before. It's a very cute place and nice bar. The pasta is yummy as well You can dress up or be casual. I would go there again just for the drink.

This was our favorite, but the service has gone down, and the pizza is not as good for us as Rosati's. It's more expensive, also.

Great pizza place, wish their other locations were this well run. Lots of energy, good staff. Best place to go and hang out in La Quinta.

There are three great Pizza places on the west coast. This is one of them. Order the thin crust, well done. The other two are Pizzacato, Encinitas, CA and Red Boy Pizza, Larkspur,CA

Food is good. Always has people on the patio enjoying the view of the hills. Staff is friendly, attentive. Our rental is right around the corner. Pizza is pretty good. Ahi appetizer is my fav. Menu is big. The only drawback is the amount of cops in the parking lot across the street "doing reports" We go here every year the first day we get into town for Coachella.

Don't get me wrong, I really like this place as a date with my brother and sister when I am in town. The food is yummy and the place is very nice. That being said... This place is a bit overpriced. On top of that, they would not work with me to provide a 40+ person rehearsal dinner for my wedding. I wanted the large outside patio, and they said they could only give me the small one, which wasn't big enough, because my party wouldn't make as much money as having walk ins take the patio seating!! How rude! I get that you are a business, but I had a party of 40+ people, think of all the alcohol sales on that one!! I thought it was horrible that after going round and round with them on menu items and location, they just wouldn't accommodate because it was "cash bar" and not a set liquor bill.

From the Food to the Service this place was great. Server was on spot. Food came out fast. It tasted great, and at a great price! Will be back for sure...plus the outdoor deck is so comfortable!

What a treat! Saturday night, 30 minute wait and a great dinner! The classic pizza was more than delicious and the Greek Salad was all the goodness others wrote about. It was our first visit and we are pleased....big time. Professional waitress, excellent food, prompt for a Saturday night service and all well worth the wait. We'll be back for sure.

I had dinner here on the patio. It seemed too loud inside (there were some decent sized groups there), so I asked for a shaded table on the patio. When I was seated, they also had misters going too since the sun was shining in our direction. They also had some strategically placed umbrellas for shade. So, I was not too hot at all! The staff here seems very attentive & thoughtful, despite the fact that many of them they look so young. They rearranged some of the umbrellas & moved a heating lamp so that people seated on the patio wouldn't have the sun in their eyes. They turned off some of the misters while I was there because it wasn't as hot anymore. I had visited the restroom while I was waiting for my food, & when I came back, I my pizza had arrived & covered up with a napkin so the bugs wouldn't get to it. I got the thin-crust margherita pizza, which was good, & yes, the thin crust isn't all that thin (not like La Pizzeria in Campbell or Pizza Antica on Santana Row). The Arnold Palmer (non-alcoholic; half iced tea, half lemonade) was also good. I was offered another one, but didn't take it. I'm not sure whether refills are free. Women's restroom had 2(?) stalls, was clean, had motion sensing sink faucets & motion sensing paper towel holder...great, so there's less you need to touch! Located on the west end of Old Town La Quinta. There's valet parking for the area around dinner time, along with lots/street parking.

I just love Stuft Pizza. Dont think ive tried anything that i didnt love. Tons of selection too. It is a local hot spot so there can be a wait at times but it is very well worth it. Great happy hour specials too.

After two straight days of $140 dinners, what's a guy to do on a Friday night? Simple: buy a case of Corona, grab some pizzas, and watch the Spurs destroy the Suns on TV in the privacy of a good friend's hotel room. Stuft did the trick. One cracker crust grilled chicken, one "Heavyweight': every meat in the joint, staked on top of each other. Hey, the pizza's name is its own Surgeon General's warning. I just wish they delivered.

Stuft Pizza is my favorite chain of pizza restaurants. I've eaten at the Stuft Pizza in Dana Point, Palos Verdes, and now I can add the La Quinta location to my list. The pizza is consistently delicious. I've never had a bad experience. The only thing I think this location is lacking is delivery service.

We like Stuft Pizza. I know it is a bit expensive for what you get on your plate, but I have to tell you, I'd rather have them charge enough to be profitable and STAY IN BUSINESS rather than fold up like a cheap tent as soon as the first summer of no tourists becomes a reality. The salads are good, the sandwiches are very good and I think the pizza is interesting and excellent. The only reason I don't give it that fifth star is because of the acoustics. You cannot hear yourself think in the constant din. They really should do something to soften the clatter.

Best pizza ever! Toppings were fresh, dough was cooked well, and the sauce was amazing. Will def eat there again!

Stuft pizza...providing the desert with actually good pizza. The site is nice and modern and gives off a quiet Yardhouse appeal. The pizza is great and we often crave it. It's like a gourmet version of Round Table with the same price tag. Not a big fan of their appetizers...sort of a disappointment, I usually expect pizza places to serve decent hot wings and that's not the case with this place. The wings tasted like the frozen type you buy at your grocery store and warm up in the oven. It is cool that they do have a microbrewery and serve their own beers. Not bad, but not a must have. Their happy hour is a good choice...can't remember the times though, sorry. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good pizza in the desert. Not a bad place to take a date or business clients as well.

Every Thanksgiving, we head to the desert for 10 days. This is my A #1 spot. I sit at the bar, watch sports on the great tv's and have a pizza with pesto and a salad, along with one or two hefeweizens. Note: They stopped carrying Widmer Hefeweizen since last year, and the replacement is NOT AS GOOD...PLEASE CHANGE BACK!! Otherwise, staff are usually friendly and professional. BE WARNED:If you have a large group, DON'T go at peak times...they do not take reservations and your wait could be longer than you think.... Keep up the good stuff, and please, switch back to either the Widmer or Pyramid...you're too good to have a lesser hefe on tap, and you do, in my opinion. You would have gotten 4****'s if not for the hefeweizen switch!

We are a boutique Real Estate Office In Old Town La Quinta. We frequent Stuft Pizza at least once a week. The variety is great for every appetite and price range and they have amazing salads. We enjoy the lunch special they offer and have never been disapointed.

We stay in the Legacy Villas every summer. Last night we ordered a delivery (close to $80) where everything went fine. Food was good. Tonight I call, and the girl that answered seemed like she was rushed and didn't want to talk. I say "Hi, I would like a delivery at the Legacy Villas" to which she says "we only deliver to La Quinta Resorts". I say "you delivered here last night." "Sorry we don't deliver there" she says. So then I tell her to deliver to La Quinta Resorts...which is seriously ONE STREET DOWN and I will jump in my car and drive to pick up my delivery. She said ok and took my order...for 5 people. We get to the end and she tries to get off the phone. I stop her and tell her that I want to pay with credit. She says "we dont accept credit over the phone." I ask "how do you expect me to pay?" and she says is there someoe else that can pay him there?" After being on the phone for a long time...I somehow kept my cool and said..."you accepted credit over the phone last night..." and she says "whats your credit card number?" WHAT?!?!?!?! Does this place want business??? I will never order from them again...I suggest you don't either.

This is an amazing place, and NOT just for pizza. They have a great cajun tuna thing that is huge and one of my son's favorites. The pizza is sooo good, just that this is on the other side of town. Fun to watch a game and really popular with the locals!

Love this place. Been there a g'zillion times. You can have a simple fish taco and a water if you want or go all out. With friends I usually get a large classic thin crust pizza right off the bat (ordered before i get there so right as we sit its ready)...then order while eating pizza. The large cesar is enough for three people to snack on. Then WE START ORDERING FROM THERE! hee. The owners kids Noelle and John are the best and usually one or the other is there. Very friendly. The BAR AREA is too packed and they should knock the windows out and extend the bar seating another couple rows. There is already enough out door (unused seating on the resaturant area side). This is the most popular place in the La QUinta Cove for casual meet and greet. If they put in a disco ball people would start dancing. LOL.

I don't usually write reviews BUT I had to for this place. Went there 1/1/12 at 5:50pm lots of people waiting. we had a party of 7. First we saw a table of 7 filled with a party of 4. Really? we waited an hour and watched everyone get seated EXCEPT us. went in and asked the hostess if she forgot us. Oh no we have you as a large party and will seat you when we can. No sooner did we go back outside to wait and the buzzer goes off. Ok, we sit outside order apps right away and it took 25 minutes for those to come out. Then we order our meals: Traditional pizza, steak sandwich, burger with added bacon, 2 salads and 2 soups and an appetizer. After an hour we get our food. Lets start with the burger that we asked for bacon as an extra (and extra cost) there was one piece on it, our soup was COLD and the pizza RAW. We told the wait staff they took it away. Then cut into the burger and oh it's RAW as well. By this time we are so pissed off we tell the manager she tells us we are aware and are taking the pizza, soups and burger off the bill. our soup comes out again COLD really???? one of us only wanted pizza wouldn't you know it, it NEVER came out until we were there almost 2 hours and we said to the waiter can we have our pizza? he got all frazzled and went and got it. Um burnt on the top and still RAW dough. we asked for a box so we could take it home and cook it. Also, we waited so long we drank all our waters and NEVER got refills until one of us got up and got a pitcher ourselves and as we were filling our glasses the waiter comes over and talks our plates we've NEVER used because we didn't get our pizza back and he never noticed/mentioned we were filling our own glasses. For a "PIZZA" place i think you should get that right at least. Then to have brought all of our "mix ups" to the manager and wait staff and not once did we get asked if everything was ok or an apology for having to ask for our RAW pizza for the 2nd time. Not sure how this place stays in business BUT I'm sure glad i don't live around there and only had this place to eat.

2* only because the manager is so all over filling in... be careful of to- go orders... especially with fries, or pizza toppings, or proteins on sandwiches.... WOW..... oh and meat balls.... lord help us. Stick with pizza, or make sure you check your order, and if its wrong.... good luck... they hesitate changing their fryer oil so watch out... have been there about a dozen times and, sadly the only upside is the manager... food continues to slide, and well, PEOPLE IN THIS TOWN THINK ITS GREAT!!!!!!! WTF? is it musical chairs with pizza/sandwich/etc. toppings? Go when they are not busy....1-3pm... and they are 100% but when jammin.... throw the dice...on to go...have actually had ticket - read correct item and received another.. oh the magic of franchising....

I thought the Thai Pizza was really good, however my friend says CPK's version is the same. We ordered appetizers and salad and food, and everything came all at once. We lost our waitress for a while. Shrimp appetizer was not good. Not sure what the hype is.

It's some pretty decent pizza in the middle of the desert. Even though it's expensive, the quality and quantity is worth it. Besides, there's nothing else around the neighborhood to eat. They have good service too.

This is a sort of neighborhood type place in the new chi chi area of Old Town La Quinta. They've got sort of a small sports bar with several big screen tv's (which be forewarned are always on NASCAR on Sundays) and a friendly vibe. The pizzas that we've had have all been good, although, the Napa Valley Pizza tasted more like a dessert than a pizza...it was good, just sweet. Their "classic" is fabulous! The salads are huge and delicious, as are their sandwiches. Very friendly service, patio seating where you can bring your dog if you wish, a fabulous wine list with reasonable pricing and great selection of beer! Love this place for lunch and they serve breakfast on the weekends during the "season". Also open for dinner, but we've only been there during the day...it does get crowded and occasionally lots of kids. Great place for good food and fun!

Great food and service. Brother and sis-in-law gave the Bloody Mary's a big thumbs up even though they couldn't guess the secret ingredient ("Made with lots of love" is all the bartender would say). The Mac 'n Cheese is very good though a little runny. The pizzas are great - amazing crust - though the thin crust isn't all that thin. The caesar salad is perfection. Glad to know we can bring our dog next time. And just for the record, they were showing football the Sunday we were there.

this place offers a variety of good gourmet pizzas. i liked what we had, but prefer good stuff pizza by far. this place was a little expensive for what we paid for & the pizza needed some more flavor. i will continue going to "good stuff" for my pizza in the future.

Okay, I'm a huge fan of thin, super crispy, (dare I say, slightly burnt?) pizza. With that said, I couldnt help myself and ordered a half cobb salad @$7.99 (for $2 more, you can get that along with half a sandwich or soup during 11am-3pm) and a personal pizza consisting of brie, prosciutto, and apples with olive oil instead of a sauce. The salad was tasty. The pizza? When presented with it, I was put off by the pale, mushy, lumps all over it. It took me a little too long to realize that those lumps were "apples". Sadness. The brie, crust, and prosciutto were fabulous, but why not go all the way in providing fresh ingredients? It isn't hard to core and slice an apple, and trust me, that'd make a WORLD of difference. I tried it all the same and yeah, just like I thought, it wasn't good. They taste and feel like canned apples to me..none of my friends wanted to try it. I opted to eat their delicious margherita pizza instead. Yum! Our server Lauren was fantastic, btw. I throw this in there because I see that the restaurant's management actually reads/replies to these reviews and our server deserves recognition n_n But yes, great prices, great lunch and happy hour specials, nice atmosphere. I'd rate this 4 stars were it not for the apples. I cant stop being baffled by it.

Great food, reasonable prices. Went on a Saturday evening, and while they were very busy, our wait time was minimal. Ordered the Chopped Wedge Salad and Thai Chicken Pizza, and thoroughly enjoyed each. I was under the incorrect impression that all of their pizzas were the thick/stuffed style, and was a little disappointed when my thin crust pizza arrived, but I'm certain I just did not pay close attention to the menu. My fault, not theirs. Service was good, but could have been better/more attentive. As I said though, they were busy so I'll give some allowances for that factor. Will definitely go back.

Stuft Pizza was the highlight of our visit to the charming Old Town La Quinta. They make a very good pizza but are much more than a pizza joint. We thought it was a good sign when a local stopped to enthusiastically tell us Stuft offered the "best FOOD" (not just pizza) while we were outside looking at their diverse menu offerings. Another good sign was the lively crowd gathered at 4pm on a weeknight, many no doubt enjoying Stuft's kick-ass Happy Hour 3-6p offerings of well priced beer and wine and one of the most diverse Happy Hour menus from Green Bean Fries to Tacos to Thai Noodles to Steak to Seabass and so much more. As tempting as the other menu items were, we came for the pizza....and there are many classic and innovative gourmet choices. We chose the "Everything...ButTheKitchenSink" pizza so loaded with meat and veggies that even the extra cheese couldn't contain the abundant toppings. It was delicious. Bottom Line: Very good pizza, great menu and Happy Hour, nice wrap-around patio dining

My wife and I were there mid week in July --love the place --but I wish they could do a better job of keeping the flies out --we sat in the bar area and we had to keep shooing the files away from our food --so we ended up eating fast with enjoyment diminished--the four stars are for the food and drinks which are always good --just wish they could have more Ecolabs (fly control) or the strong door fans that blow downward when you open the door--a la the Tackroom at the polo fields---c russell

We went with our two preschoolers and it was a great mix--families, couples, retirees, all very friendly. Loved this place! Have it a 4 due to appetizers being a little above average: calamari and street tacos. And it took a long time for food to arrive. Other than that it is fabulous: highly recommend the Napa pizza! Craving that still. And the salads are amazing! Wine list is fantastic too.

Terrible service we waited 1 hour yes 1 hour for our food. And what came out was pathetic. Not worth it at all. Should have better service and better management and when u mess up u don't make excuses and defend yourself. The waitress clearly forgot to put part of the order in. Here's the picture of the 15 dollar Cajun shrimp and scallops after it came out 1 hour late. Won't be back here!

Food was okay. Sent back the lettuce wraps we ordered. The chicken filling was very soggy. Pizza was decent and service friendly. Good happy hour prices in beer.

The 3 stars are for the food. The server (Tammy) was subpar. She seemed overwhelmed and it was not even busy yet. But then the "snowbirds" are arriving again so they don't have to be friendly. They will be busy until summer time again. What's the difference between a canoe and a Canadian? A canoe will tip! Maybe local businesses should not forget the locals...

I have been here only twice in the past. Last night was my third visit with my husband and two of our friends. Our friends came from out of town and I couldn't stop telling them about this place and how great the pizza is. Boy was I disappointed and embarrassed when the pizza arrived at our table and the crust was soggy and it had pepperoni on it when we ordered an all veggie pizza. I told the waitress and they brought us a new pizza but it wasn't as good as it had been the prior two times I had visited the restaurant. To top it off, the waitress was curt and acted as though she was having a bad day. We had to ask the runners to bring us water and extra drinks. Hoping this was just an off night. I'll try them one more time to be fair because the beat salad and the fried green beans we ordered were absolutely delicious.

Tried this out after Golf with my brother-in-law. Great many pizza choices. Pretty crowded for a Tuesday night. Sat outside next to the "misters" (good choice, temp was about 93!). Settled on the meatball pizza and it was very good! Cold beers and great service. I recommend.

I love the Southwestern Eggrolls! Service was not terrible; wait time for food was a bit longer than expected but could be due to how busy the place was. I really enjoyed the Tuna sandwich; which is being taken off their menu much to my dismay. We'll be back.

My husband and I found this place on yelp after driving into the desert and just wanting to do something easy for dinner. So glad we came here. They were busy, but sat us right away. Our waiter was nice and attentive. He gave us great suggestions. I ordered a glass of Riesling and my husband got the firestone double barrel beer. They were not shy with their portions and both were good. Our waiter let us get "happy hour prices" for an appetizer, so we tried the fried green beans. I was a lil hesitant, but they were actually really yummy. They tasted like any fried vegetable, but the batter was really good. I was most shocked by how good our pizza was. The cheese was melt in your mouth and the crust was fluffy and good. We got proccuito (sp?) and mushrooms for our toppings. So good! One of the best places we've eaten at so far.

As my wife and I sit here at Good Stuft Pizza in La Quinta and ponder, why is our service so slow? From the moment we walked in, the hostess sat the people standing behind us first. Then, our server Gladys was super slow. I really enoy the food here but, unless you look like a caucasian snowbird, your service might suck.

Slightly better than average or"3 stars" but maybe not "4 stars" Being one of the few places to eat in the downtown area of La Quinta, the place can be quite crowded. We were there on Monday night and the wait was about 25 minutes. Probably due the hectic pace, the meals were served another 30 minutes or so after sit down. We ordered a small pizza, wedge salad, and a steamed mussel dish. The highlight was definitely the steamed mussels. The broth was superb. The pizza, ordered only with extra cheese, was considered to be just "ok" and the salad was uninspired. Service was "ok" but far from a relaxed and personal experience that might have been expected. Patio dinning is available All in all, an ok place with a fairly diverse menu. There should be something for everyone here. Probably wouldn't go back myself unless I was actually staying in town again, but I wouldn't dissuade others from giving it a try.

I hate to say this, as the staff were really nice, but this is the second worst pizza I have had in my life. The first worst being a delivery joint next to the airport in Detroit. We ordered a pizza to go, and when we got it back to our hotel we found the the crust was not cooked all the way through. This, however, was not the worst part! The toppings for the pizza were NOT fresh at all. We ordered half meatball, and the "meatballs" looked and tasted like something they would produce at McDonalds. I gave them an extra star because all of the staff we encountered were very nice. Don't be fooled though, this pizza is almost inedible.

First time at stuft pizza and I totally recommend. My husband and I shared the beets salad which was perfect for 2 , the Mediterranean Pizza was amazing with gluten crust medium size and had left over for lunch the next day' :) generous glass of wine it was all delicious! Definitely recommend and will certainly be back. Thank you!

We are in town from Orange County and I was craving pasta, but of course my boyfriend doesn't like pasta so he said pizza. "Where can we find both of these items without sacrificing quality?" I asked myself. We stopped down the street at a small Italian place and they did not have pizza, the host referred us to Stuft so there we went! First off shout out to the hostess team: They were friendly and welcoming! We came at peak dinner rush time and were told there was a 30 minute wait. They handed us our buzzer and went to the bar to grab a few waiting beers! Not 5 minutes passed and the hostess walks up to us informing us a table had cleared in the bar area if we wanted to snag it since the bar was first come first serve. High five girl! Love that service! But wait gets better! We sat down and were greeted by a sweet server named Galina, who seeing our beers offered us waters and made stellar suggestions on appetizers. We ordered the wings and green bean fries soooo sooo soo good! As soon as appetizers were out we put in our food and being in the service industry I feel entitled to modify all my food. Galina was totally cool with our modifications laughing at my desire to have no steamed veggies bc I wasn't feeling healthy food, yet I ordered a side salad! All throughout our meal Galina served us with a smile and an awesome attitude!!! Definitely request her section! Let's get to the entrees: I ordered the pollo Parmesan because I wanted pasta, my boyfriend ordered the classic pizza. Both were amazing! Fresh quality food, great taste, nice and comforting (which was my main focus!) All in all service was excellent, food was excellent and we have found a new place to frequent when in town!!! I can't wait to get some more Stuft!!!!! Great quality for a great price!!!!!

If you are allergic to gluten don't eat the "gluten free" pizza. The crust is gluten free but the cheese isn't. Really? False advertising! So nice to get sick. Thanks a ton. I called to verify that the cheese is not gluten free and the woman who confirmed it wasn't didn't seem bothered either.

I've never eaten in the restaurant, but I get food to go with fair regularity. I'm usually in and out pretty quickly. They are always nice and I don't think my order has ever been wrong. The Cajun Ahi, Poke Stack, and Southwest Chicken Salad are all worth 5 stars on their own.

I ordered the Asian Chicken Salad and the chicken was dry as a bone. When I ordered the salad, I asked the server to make sure the chicken wasn't dry and overcooked. He said it was already cooked and prepped in the morning. I requested he put the chicken on the side and he did . As I suspected, it was dry as a bone. Then I discussed the situation with the manager an she said nobody else complains about it, so she didn't do anything about it. So if you want dry chicken in your salad then you'll like this place otherwise don't order the Asian Chicken Salad.

If you go to Olde town... you'll find this is always the busiest place, and there's a reason for that!! Best atmosphere, people, service and the food is great. As a restaurant owner myself, very picky about other restaurants I actually will frequent... and stuft pizza is one of the best.

I am a regular at this restaurant.. I used to love this restaurant this was one of my favorite places in the desert but lately I do not know what's been going on their service sucks!!... Their manager lets not even go there extremely rude and unethical.... It seems every time I go there I leave with a bitter taste in my mouth.. I cannot emphasize more on how rude they are there... If it wasn't for their wine and their happy hour I would probably never go there again..

I just love this restaurant and this location! Beauty abounds. Take advantage of the pet-friendly patio, views, misters and vibe. You can eat FANTASTIC food here and remain alone. OR you will meet people from all over the globe. Service is top-notch here. Great vibe for young and old. Great place to just go have a drink at too.

VERY GOOD WINGS! Hot as hell are perfect for the spice enthusiast. The pizza isn't great, poor sauce, decent toppings, but a good crust. The Cobb salad, according to a dining companion of mine, was "average at best." Nice atmosphere but there was a 15 minute wait even after normal dinner times.

Great atmosphere, good food very crowded. No chance of getting a seat between 5:00 - 8:00. Probly worth the wait but not for me.

Decided to have a pizza and salad. Have been eating agree since they opened. Cheese pizza was wonderful. Not to much sauce and loads of cheese. Cesar salad had just the right amount of dressing. My spouse had half sandwich n pasta. The ham is cut from a real ham not that processed stuf. Pasta was good. Just right amount of Alfredo sauce.

Excellent food and pizzas portions are large but what I really like are there salads you name it they have it. Locals know how good this place is, but if your visiting, it's a must. It's usually really busy at lunch time on wkends so I recommend late night dinning.

We had dinner here on Saturday night. Although there was a bit of a wait, (which I can't blame the restaurant for) because once we were served I figured out why there was a wait. The pizza is killer! We started off sharing a Caesar salad, my favorite part being the ample Parmesan cheese. For the pizzas we ordered a Hawaiian with thin crust and an "everything" (sorry I forgot the actual name of the pizza, l but it's on the left side bottom of the menu) with regular crust. Both were delicious and loaded with cheese and toppings, the way pizza should be. I liked both crusts although I like the thin slightly more, just a personal preference. All in all a positive experience and grub food. They also have a good beer selection if that's your thing. If you're in the area and want some good food, (they have plenty of other choices aside from pizza, I'm sure my neighbors were noticing me staring at their plates) I'd recommend dropping in. I sure will!

Good food, affordable and fun for your pup. Took our family here over the weekend. We were a party of 10. Our wait was short and because we brought the family pet, they seated outside. We ordered two pizzas, korean tacos and an appetizer plate. The pizzas were delish (suggestion: add some balsamic glaze to the white pizza). I wasn't a fan of the "korean tacos". I"ve tasted better. Besides that, its great for large parties with kids and dogs.

Food is good, nothing exciting. It's a little loud and staff can be really nice or kind of in "la-la-land"... It's just ok in my opinion.

We went to Stuft for dinner based on a recommendation. We happened to go on Superbowl Sunday. The place wasn't too packed. We had the Classic pizza and the American BBQ pizza and they were awesome! I would go again and also recommend this place to others.

It's my favorite go to place when I'm hungry. Lots of locals hang here and it's got a good community feel. The food won't disappoint it is consistently good. Never a bad meal. They know how to cook. The fish tacos, pizza, burgers all won't disappointment. The wait staff is great, no attitudes. A must when in LQ.

Look, when you're vacationing and you want everything to go right, picking the right restaurant in unfamiliar territory can be challenging - and choosing the right eatery is paramount. With that in mind, if you're in the desert area, you can't go wrong with Stuft Pizza. The service, the food, the ambience is perfect. Without getting into the details, the food here is delicious. Skip the fancy slop they dish out at the local fancy steak houses. Stuft pizza is a better alternative.

Soooo it should first be noted, and then immediately forgotten by any cornballs, that La Quinta (the town) is probably the only best kept secret in desert escapes not named Palm Desert. Skip the editorial saturation of Joshua Tree and hit the Happy Hour in La Quinta if you REALLY want to escape!!! Menu is a rather expansive medley. Sliders are solid, great portion of meat. Treat yourself to some of the great local craft beers on tap. La Quinta brewery (located around the corner) is a must-try. Ahoy the great sun and winds of the Santa Rosa mountains. #dtla - desert escapes

I was in La Quinta for the weekend in time for soaring hot-as hell weather (think 115F) and the laugh-worthy disappointment of realizing half the restaurants are closed for the off-season summer. Really, all I wanted was some tacos yo... Anyway, Stuft Pizza was our second choice for the night since everything else was closed; however, second choice came out to be the number one winner! Nice, clean, A/C place with a cool bar and even better food. I had the 'everything but the kitchen sink pizza"...think meat, loads of it. I loved it! Sooooo good. The rest of my party had the margherita pizza (add prosciutto, you can thank me later ), chicken pesto pizza, and the baby back ribs (HUGE RIBS). We were all so very happy after dinner:) I gave them a four for the sole reason that we made modifications to the chicken pesto pizza and it wasn't what we ordered. They made a second one and it fit the bill. I will most definitely be coming in here when I'm in town. Continue with the amazingness and the A/C, Coco

I was in Palm Spring for vacation and came in to get dinner. Our waitress was a jolly hispanic lady, didnt remember her name but she was very friendly. We ordered a calamari and spinach salad and a large half Napa valley and half Heavyweight pizza. Boy, they dont kid about their sizes. The pizza was huge! You can choose to get thin or thick crust, we got the thick. the Calamari spinach salad - Good, comes with 4 thick fried calamari strips and a mango topping with some sort of vinaigrette. Napa Valley pizza - Sweet, very unique pizza topped with apples, canadian bacon, mushrooms and other stuff. It's good and unique but not my type of pizza. Heavyweight - MEAT HEAVY. my favorite out of the 3 items but I wish i could have tried the more interesting looking pizzas. It could have used more marinara sauce.. Food comes out a little slow, but thats okay. The place has TVs all around airing sports. Overall a pretty good pizza place with many unique pizza options!

Visited this place while in Palm Springs. Pizza and caesar salad were very good. The service was good too, but I took a star away bc the Waiter took a little while to check on our table. Would definitely return!

I'm not a person who eats pizza, I can't have cheese and it's just not a food I consume. When a friend recommended we meet here for lunch and said "They have salads," I was a little weary and was thinking how good can a salad be at a pizza joint?! I'm actually more than impressed, this is a really nice restaurant with gourmet pizza and out of this world delicious salads! I enjoyed the beet salad which was delicious, I love beets so much and I was able to add shrimp to it. My friend had the same salad and added chicken, it's a great sized portion for lunch. My friends I met said they come here often as they have great food and quite a few options for kids. I was in the area for work so I'm not sure if I'll be back but if I am I would definitely come back. I love a nice restaurant and this "pizza joint" definitely fits in this category!

You really can't go wrong with this place. Love their pizza's thick or thin, their happy hour rocks, they are always busy inside and out, they have theses amazing fried green beans, good beer selection, lots of sports on TV and they are consistent. Check out their lunch specials. Even their sandwiches, pasta, and salads are good. Time it right or you will have a wait. Take out is at the side door and they are timely. We have been fans for many years. The menu is so comprehensive that there is something for everyone.

I love this place and I work right above it so I tend to order out once a week from here. Britney tends to take my phone order and when I pick it up she has everything rely to go, always asking if I need anything extra. The food is very good, the summer salad has to be one of my fave ' s. I live their lunch special ' s, the pick 2 really will feed 2 people. My only issue is that I've ordered the Ortega roast beef sandwich on 3 different occasions and I've yet to have it served on the correct bread. I know it seems petty but if the menu states " jalapeño cheese bread" than that's what I want it at least told it's on a different bread. The first 2 times it was on sour dough and came out pretty tasty but today it was in a french roll and I didn't enjoy it.

They have to best Pizza in the Valley ...the atmosphere is ok ,,(always a bit to noisy for me..but then I like quiet ) the staff is very friendly and helpful ... a great place to laugh and enjoy great Pizza
Great trendy little joint that seems to be all the hype. Very large extensive menu, I like knowing I could bring anyone here and they'd be able to find something the like. Atmosphere: 5 stars- like I mentioned above this is definitely the casual, fun place to dine. Always packed but I've been seated quickly despite seeing almost every table filled. The interior is on the darker side and the bar is hoppin. Outside is a must for me, love their patio!!! Service: 4 stars- usually pretty good, friendly knowledgable staff yet sometimes you can feel overlooked. Never like when I have to ask for a refill after my drinks been sitting empty for 10 minutes, not the end of the world in my books but definitely would dock a star for that. Food: 5 stars! Their menu has everything and anything. American, italian, asian fusion you name they have it and it's tasty!. Appetizers: always a fan of the fried green beans! To die for!!!! Dishes: I've been sticking to their asian cold thai noodles. Very tasty and light but a good sized portion. I've been eyeing the pastas so that seems to be the next choice for me. Also the pizza here is a fan favorite 1/5 tables has a pizza, I think the pizza here is so so but with that many choosing it as a go to I might give it another chance.

A little surprised that i'm giving this 5 stars, but there's one dish that just has to bump Stuft up from 4.5 to 5 stars for me. The atmosphere is great...if you're sitting outside. Lovely patio with those water spritzers to keep you cool. Inside gets really loud due to some lower ceilings and the design of the restaurant so I highly recommend sitting outside. I'll start with why I have to give Stuft 5 stars, and amazingly, it's the place to start anyway, with the appetizer. My gf and I split the Cajun seared ahi salad. Holy cow, that was a massive amount of ahi tuna. You'd get less going to a sushi restaurant. And it was excellent tuna, perfectly prepared, wonderful but not overpowering cajun flavoring. and the "salad" or whatever greens were below the tuna was equally great. I'd go back just for this small plate alone. It is an absolute must try. We then split a medium Anything But The Kitchen Sink pizza. As you could guess, it's got just about every topping on the menu on the pizza. I hate pineapples so we got half without pineapples and they did a good job segregating the pizza. If you're looking for the best value in terms of toppings, this is it. Heaping amounts of every topping over a surprisingly delicious crust. Highly recommend.

A great patio setting and great menu including so many gourmet pizza's, pastas, sandwiches and more. We had Lunch their and had the Stuff pizza with a thin crust and it was loaded with super fresh peppers, onions, hand cut tomatoes and mushrooms. Usually I don't eat the end crust but here I ate the whole thing it was just so crisp and perfectly cooked, not doughy at all. The staff was nice, came with ice tea refills but not lemonade refills. Took awhile to get the check. Overall really great menu and gourmet fresh pizza's.

I've eaten at the LQ Cove location roughly 500 times in my life, and it's hard to honestly recall even one bad experience. I'm talking about food and service. Always friendly, always fast, always tasty! On a note of constructive criticism, it would be nice to have a larger bar in LQ and a new interior design at the mall. Thank you to the owner for being ever-present!

This pizza is downright delicious...but I gave it 3 stars because it's ridiculously priced. I ordered 2 large pizzas and a salad, and it was $70. That seems like a lot to me for some pizza

The food is always great! I love the ahi appetizer . The Stuff Crust Pizza in La Quinta is cramped , so you feel a little like cattle. They tend to understaff which causes the service to become lacking at no fault of the servers. If this was not the case they would have received a five star review. You may find the new one in Palm Desert more appealing and less cramped, but the foods just as great in both places.

Stuft is located amongst a nice pocket of cool restaurants and shops in La Quinta. Outdoor seating on the patio with umbrellas and misters is available. There is also a large inside restaurant that leads into a large bar area with tall tables. We came for Happy Hour and left with enough food we couldn't finish to provide us with a nice snack the next day. During happy hour there is a large variety of small plate dishes. We ordered Thai Noodles, which were great, Meatball Sliders, awesome, Artichoke, Spinach, Black Olive, Chicken thin crust pizza, also excellent and a Tuna Stack. So many other things looked great too.The prices were very reasonable and the quality of the food was excellent. The place was hopping and for good reason.

I love this place, I use to work here, my mom and both younger sisters worked here too. My youngest sister still works there. I love love the pizzas here, my favorite one is south of the border it reminds me of a Mexican tostada. I love happy hours as well, I'm starting to order food for work parties, because for the food I get the price is just right. When I want to enjoy something healthy I order he summer salad or grilled chicken salad always get it well done and a great portion for me :). I will always have this place as my number 1 choice. Every worker is sweet and welcoming when I go or when I'm accompany by someone. The owner is hardly seen now but when his there he's always greeting mostly every customer with a big smile. Great job Stuft pizza!

Great pizza. Excellent menu selection. Three and half stars would be 4 except for: - Pizza arrived late and warm not hot. Maybe thry sat under crappy light or in kitchen before brought to table. - Water should be refilled and table service more attentive - Bathroom was iffy for cleanliness - Thick vs. thin crust not much different. - Pricey but "tasty." Would have been better hotter or with toppings cooked slightly longer. - Loud mouth schnoks waiting for tables in waiting area that had drank too much - Heaters on deck are dated and not kept running. Many customers complained about cool deck. - Staff could be more pleasant and seems as if they enjoy their jobs. - The place could really benefit from a manager that kept the ship "tight."

We stopped in to Stuft Pizza on Friday night around 5:00. The place was packed. We were shown to a table right away. We ordered drinks and calamari, which both arrived quickly. The order of calamari was almost enough for a meal, and the condiments were delicious. Our server was busy, but was very attentive to us.

Delicious my mother and I stopped in to this quaint little place in old town La Quinta. After checking out the redo on my grandma's 1950s style house. We sat outside on June first underneath the misting system it was heaven. I ordered the flatbread pizza with prosciutto and goat cheese with an Arnold Palmer to drink. My mother ordered The appetizer hot wings just hot not hot as hell they were perfect. She also drank in on our plumber it was perfectly mixed amounts of lemonade and iced tea. Definitely enjoy this wonderful place and will be back very very soon

Sadly this place has gone down hill like all other successful restaurants. We come here ever week for pizza. We have noticed their medium pizzas have turned into small and their larger pizzas turn into mediums. Great pizza but for what you get now gets to be a bit pricy. So sad it's our favorite restaurant!

First time here but not the last! Great food, great service and great atmosphere. We are new in town and thought we would try to find a place with great pizza.. We found it! My daughter had the lunch special pizza with pepperoni and there was none left! My other daughter and her friend shared a small BBQ chicken pizza and again no leftovers. My husband had the Southwest chicken salad and I had the Cobb, the half serving, and it was the perfect amount and loaded with chicken. We can't wait to come back and try it all!!

I've only been here a few times and I've only tried the Napa Valley and a lunch special Cobb salad. The Napa Valley is so amazing that I really didn't care to venture outside of it (pizza wise) once I had my first bite. It's got bacon, cooked apples (though I still swear up and down my first pizza had pears on it!), sauteed onions, mozzarella and brie!!! oh and they drizzle it with a sweet mango sauce. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it! The Napa Valley is such an elegant pizza you forget it's, well, a "pizza." Pair that with a candlelit table on the patio, during a beautiful desert weather evening - it's just so perfect that you forget the all the people and noise happening around you. My discovery of the Napa Valley pizza was an epic win for me! The Cobb salad was good too - flavorful from what I can remember, but it wasn't any better than other cobb salads I've had I'm telling you, though. If you haven't had the Napa Valley, you are surely missing out! That pizza is so amazing, all the other dishes pale in comparison to it!

Service has gotten better and food as well. I love the pizzas. Happy hour is still amazing deal. I have had dinner here a few times but its still stuck in the middle of being to pricey for the quality. Although the chicken with the capers is addicting. Not sure what its called.

Supreme original crust pizza! Came here over the weekend for dinner & drinks & was very pleased. Our waiter was very attentive throughout the whole dinner. We placed our order & everything arrived quickly. I highly recommend trying the pizza. I didn't have anything else other than the pizza but it was good enough that I'd go back & recommend to others as well.

By LA standards, this is a 4 star place. However, this place stands out in La Quinta. It has a fabulous patio, it's happening, has a good vibe, and serves outstanding food. The menu is way beyond pizza, although that looks incredible. The vast menu has an extreme amount of wine and beer, and varies from steak, to seafood, to pasta. I ordered the Spaghetti & Meat Sauce and it was fantastic. Happy hour is served daily from 3pm-6pm. It has both drink and food specials. I've never been to a Stuft Pizza, but I think I'm gonna scope them out. Two thumbs up.

Best pizza I have had in a while. I'm from out of town and I looked this place up and decided to give it a try. It was packed but I was seated quickly. I ordered the volcano wings (hot) and the heavyweight pizza. Both were fantastic. I left more than satisfied. I just wish I lived closer so I could go there all the time.

I go to this location often (close to home & work) but I rarely actually eat there; when I do - the service can be either a hit or a miss. I generally get take-out and the service for the take-out is always outstanding. Ashton is very helpful if you have any questions or want to make any modifications to your order (as well as the other employees). Depending on your order, it's pretty quick as well. The take-out has it's own little area, so you don't have to stand in the restaurant (they have high tops to sit and wait). The manager Rick is always very polite whenever I go in and very professional. If there are any problems - he fixes them or finds a solution for it so that the customer always leaves happy. This is a good spot to eat in the cove - the menu is pretty extensive by not only having pizza. Their ahi tuna is very good! And the size is much larger than most of the restaurants in the desert. I also like how the wasabi comes tubed out, so you don't see fingerprints on the wasabi! The desserts lately have been really good - I suggest getting the lemon sorbet. Excellent.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

It was the worst no service ever don't go they kick us out the suck don't come here ever I hate this join me

(4)Chad D.
Pretty good thick crust pizza and descent beer list. Great place for family or take out.
(4)Diamond M.
(4)Travis T.
Staff is great. Patio is great. Lots of good food to choose from. Everything here is good. Enjoy!
(4)Ken W.
Good food with great prices for happy hour. Can be pretty crowded during popular seasons.
(4)Valerie A.
(5)Thomas W.
Great food. Great drinks. They have an amazing happy hour. Jenna was our server and was perfect. We had the best wings and ahi. The burgers were on point. They had a great local beer on draft la quinta brewing. Get early because it slammed when we went.
(4)Tami B.
(5)Deborah C.
(2)Kimberly P.
Great job! :-)
(5)Russell F.
(3)Eric F.
(4)James W.
It is crowded for a reason. Best casual option in Old Town La Quinta. You won't regret going here and not too expensive.
(4)Chris H.
(4)CA Reviewer P.
(4)David C.
(1)Elizabeth C.
The best....simply the best! We have never had a bad meal here...tried tons of different dishes and all are excellent! Can often be hard to get seating however you can usually find seating in the bar area if so..always a fun and friendly area as well
(5)EUGENE K.
(1)Leems B.
(4)David D.
Thanks for the food poisoning.......Whole family up all night throwing up. After two crappy meals, We thought we would give you guys one last chance....FAIL!!!! I should have known better...
(1)Karissa L.
(4)Michelle C.
(3)Michelle S.
Great food, can never get into the bar during happy hour, always packed. This is a very lively and loud restaurant, so if your looking for someplace quiet wait for it to get cooler and try the patio. They make the best steak salad and kid friendly.
(4)H. L.
(4)Doris A.
(4)Penelope B.
La Quinta Stuft Pizza is always excellent - service and food. Tried the new one in Palm Desert and was terribly disappointed with the food AND the service. Will not eat there again. Sometimes expanding is not a good idea....
(5)Susan M.
(2)Georgeana I.
(4)Victor T.
Enjoy coming here for happy hour, food and drinks are always great.
(4)S w.
(5)SoCalSparky o.
Garlic lettuce wraps are great. Only issue: the lettuce cups are really small. Chicken avocado sandwich with green bean fries, good. Issue: lettuce wilted before we are it? Strange. Large portions. Worth the prices, which are not bad.
(4)Elizabeth S.
Love the food. They work with our group of eight on seating. But service is really slow, I think it is the kitchen. The waiter was on top of it. Meatball sliders are an amazing $ deal.
(4)Paula L.
By far the only restaurant to go to in La Quinta!! Bartenders and servers are the nicest in town..well managed! Consistently good food and such a fun atmosphere! Can't wait to go back.
(5)Julie C.
(2)Mario Q.
Hands down this is one of California's BEST pizza makers! I know my pizza from Florence, New York, Chicago and San Francisco! Mexicans in Stuffed Pizzas kitchen kill it every time! Thanks for setting the USA standard! Mario
(5)Chris M.
Lol
(5)S. B.
Food is good and reasonably priced - especially the Happy Hour menu - but the noise level inside is unbearable. Everyone ends up shouting! You'll also wait quite a while for a table if you don't get there by 5:00. I'll only go back much later and sit at table on the patio outside.
(3)R C.
(3)Leland B.
(5)Jenna T.
Really nice patio, dog friendly. Wifi doesn't work on patio. Great beer selection. Fried green beans were delicious. We had gluten free pizza, veggie style. Yum!
(4)Dina R.
Their pizza is soooo good! Fresh, crisp ingredients ! We were very happy with the pizza!
(5)Vince K.
(3)Jin L.
we had a weekend sales training in la quinta and had our first night dinner at stuft pizza. we had a party of near 40, and had reservations made in advance. reservations were for 8, we didn't really get seated til about 8:20-30. i didn't get my food til about 9:40.. i was hungry and grumpy so perhaps my stars are a little less than what they should be.. i ordered the new orleans chicken and shrimp pasta. you go to a pizza place and order pasta.. okay, maybe i set myself up. but there was no chicken in my pasta. only shrimp. it was also very bland, i pretty much doused my meal with sriracha and managed to eat all the shrimp and half of the pasta. my coworker next to me ordered the chicken alfredo, and again, no chicken. maybe there was a chicken shortage or something that night, but it would have been nice to get a warning. i did, however, try the bbq chicken pizza, and YES there was chicken, and YES it was delicious! if the rest of their food tasted the way that bbq chicken pizza did, i would have given this place 5 stars hands down.
(3)Lucy L.
One of our favorite and go to place in town. Staff are friendly, food always great! Love the chill atmosphere! I always get there " summer salad" "BBQ chicken pizza"
(5)S G.
(5)Tina S.
This is our go-to place for family dinner. Great food and a good selection of craft beer. Fantastic happy hour prices.
(5)Phyllis P.
(1)Y E.
(4)Matt M.
(4)Jeremy A.
(3)Bebe H.
Food is mediocre. Service is bad. Table are not clean. It is very sticky. Happy hour menu is good
(3)Chris G.
(2)Denise E.
(3)Peter D.
The name of the restaurant is somewhat misleading. Good selection of beer. Roasted beet salad, angus steak, thin crusted pizza. Everything tasted great!
(4)Michele N.
(4)Carla R.
(5)Tony S.
3 stars to me is a C+ this place is way better than pizza Hut but not worth a special trip if you are craving pizza. Nice atmosphere and good service depend ok no on the server you get.
(3)Unamused C.
Worst take out service ever... Just don't do it. They can't get orders right or have them ready on time to save their lives. I don't even want to give them one star.
(1)Alan L.
(5)Javier V.
The five stars is for pizza and service only. As ive never eaten anything else there. Their ingredients seem fresh, good crust and good service.
(5)Valerie M.
I have been going to Stuft pizza for 7 years. A group of us meet every Thursday evening with our dogs. We have great food and the best outside patio in the desert. We love the staff, they make you feel welcomed and comfortable. It feels like family.
(5)Sandra G.
ONE STAR for our extreeeeeeemly rude waitress Kahlia!!!!! The bus help made up for her lack of manners. The food was fine and would return there again to request a different server. Best of luck with that attitude!!!
(1)Elizabeth H.
AMAZING PIZZA .... service sucked, had to flag down waitress each time I needed something. Got a starter salad that we wanted first before pizza came....we waited and waited and couldn't find our waitress. 20 minutes later we got pizza and salads at same time. Boo
(3)Brock J.
Ordered the chopped Cobb salad and a pepperoni pizza for takeout. They had my order ready when they said they would. The food was good but it was nothing special. It got the job done. I've had way worse and I've had better. With that being said, I would go back.
(4)Tom D.
The napa pizza was super amazing. This place had a comfortable sweet setting with indoor and outdoor seating not to mention a full bar!!
(5)Jennifer D.
Lauren is the best bartender. She is personalable and we love sitting at the bar when she works. Gratis employee!
(5)Jennifer O.
(3)Pap B.
(2)Christy C.
Some of the best pizza I've ever had! Great menu, lots of choices. Excellent food for dine-in or take-out. Good portions. Dining room can get cramped when their busy. Nice outside patio seating available. Nice atmosphere.
(5)Michael H.
(3)Jessica J.
(3)Dianne K.

A personal happy hr spot for us, always start w/bruchetta & flat bread pizza....almost all food & drinks are excellent
(4)Matt W.

(1)Toby W.
This would have been a four stars place with good food and service. But I bumped it to five stars since they have a great patio area and allowed well-behaved dogs to dine with us. Very busy even on a Monday night. Would highly recommend!
(5)Stephen G.
Bad service, they screwed up our order and delivered one of our pizzas while we waited until the mistake was fixed. Didn't say sorry, didn't compensate the check, acted like it never happened. Pizza wasn't very good, either. Not going back
(1)Tom R.
Always great food. Clean, friendly. We love Stuft Pizza, their patio seating is awesome.
(5)Matt A.

(4)David R.
Dave.
(5)Chris M.
So good!!! They have gluten free pasta and pizza too! Their wine list is gigantic and the beer is served nice and cold! Menu is diverse and the gluten free pizza is excellent! Service is great and there are two large patios for outdoor dining. Yum!!!
(5)Whatithink A.
Important to note that my rating is based on this place being an inexpensive pizza spot. Not white table cloth. I am a bit of pizza snob and I think the thin crust pizza rocks. I had the date and bacon.Yum. Also a very good salad with great flavors. I hear this place is packed all the time.
(5)Tammi V.
(3)shan s.
I'm only confused about why they don't deliver. They've got to be leaving a TON of money on the table.
(5)Michelle M.
I love the everything but the kitchen sink pizza and the ahi salad. All their food is amazing!
(4)tina c.
(2)Lynda M.
Never a disappointment; always yummy. Only issue is the wait, even sometimes in off season. Both eclectic menu and friendly staff are better than most. Especially the female managers, who are exceptional.
(4)Palm Springs Diva A.
(4)Travis W.
Surprisingly good prices on large pizza - $20 for a large Hawaiian pizza that was big enough for 3-4 people. Nice and doughy. At prime dinner time on a Thursday the wait was 35 minutes. Call for reservations if you don't want to wait.
(4)Mallory R.
(5)Jill T.
I would only eat here again if I was starving and there was nothing else decent around. Clean and friendly enough but the menu is huge and the pizza is subpar. You have to search through every other type of cuisine before you get to the Pizza menu. Then it comes out and is just edible.
(2)Matt B.
One of the best places in the desert. Pizza is awesome here and lots of variety. Servers are always on it unlike many places in the desert.
(5)J B.
(4)Karla W.
(2)Deborah H.
Great local hangout for pizza, salad, pasta and great happy hour. Consistently good. Nice outdoor seating seeing the sunset. Great for a family inside but if you want a conversation try to sit outside. Its noisy! Its busy -even in the summer- and that is saying something!!!!
(4)Steve E.
Food and Pizza is great here ...... the service is very inconsistent. Service runs from excellent - poor.
(4)Karen H.
(3)David C.
I heard so much about this place but obviously those customers are not real pizza lovers. This place is simply the best you can get in the desert.
(2)Rob B.
(3)Marie L.
Love, love their pizzas. I always get something different but the pizza's are always delicious.
(5)Denis R.
Dollar for dollar you can not get better food. Not to mention the service. There is a chain of LIL pizza stores all over California, However, the boss built this one for his personal use. If you don't try it at least once while staying in our little town, you have missed a great value......
(5)Richard F.
(5)Robb C.
MMMMmmmazzing Food!!! I love the Heavyweight Pizza and BBQ Pizza. Ive never tasted a pizza so amazing! The Staff is Mediocre but other then that i give 5 stars!
(5)Anita C.
(3)Jeff V.
Great pizza! Go for the classic. Service was perfect and place was pleasant. Might be a three hour drive, but I'll be back.
(5)Emilie C.
(4)Bruce R.
Great food: Korean taco and pizza with arugula and roasted peppers. Food runner didn't know who ordered what.
(3)Mark W.
Decent food. Good wine options. Good beer options. Service was ok. Menu selection is vast. Food quality was good. Happy hour is the selling point. Everyday from 3 to 6. The downfall is the noise. When the bar is full, or even half full, it gets noisy. This the 3 star rating.
(3)Joanne C.
Delicious! My husband actually told the waiter the poke stack was "the bomb" (Lol) and it was pretty amazing along with the pizza. Great atmosphere! We will defenitly be back.
(5)Tom M.
(5)Ricky R.
Good food, beautiful location and excellent service. What more do you want? Not to mention, reasonably priced. Its all good. You cannot go wrong.
(5)Evie A.
The food was great - having a hooker sit beside my husband at the bar was bizarre. Short black shorts - white underwear sticking out - waiting for someone to pay attention to her. Don't know if it worked or not. Food, as always, was great.
(5)Andrew H.
(4)Couple O'Critics A.
Oh my pizza, these pies are delicious. This is the second time picking up togo pizza from Stuft and so far so great. The next time we're eating inside.... this place is hopping. The staff is courteous and helpful.
(4)Elisa G.
Probably our favorite restaurant in La Quinta! In season they are super busy so it can be hard to get a table which makes me so grateful for their take-out counter. Really, really good food! There is no other way to put it. Sometimes the service is mediocre but all around, a great restaurant.
(4)Carol L.
What can I say, this place always rocks! Very consistent, been here many times over the last 4 years. Expansive menu has something for everyone, great beers and fun wines make for a great dining experience. Best to get there early and get a table outside, this place gets crazy busy with long wait times if you come too late.
(5)Kristy O.
The pizza is WONDERFUL!! I was disappointed I got a small pizza instead of a large. I also ordered the Ahi Tuna Poke Rolls and was NOT impressed. I sat out on the patio and it was great. I cant wait to go back! 3/27/13
(4)Richard K.
(5)Jonathan G.
Great happy hour, can get busy at night.
(5)David F.
Not sure why this place is always packed.. Food is alright
(3)Rick M.
best gluten free pizza in the Coachella Valley
(4)Jimmy C.
As expected, their pizzas are pretty tasty. What was unexpected was their delicious seared ahi tuna dish!! A must try for all ahi tuna fans.
(4)Keith M.
Had dinner at the bar. Great small plates and salads. Fun atmosphere.
(4)T S.
(2)Bob R.
This is a review by a vegetarian That's not thin-crust pizza. It's flat bread. Also it's way too topping centric. Extra-star for a surfeit of attractive servers.
(3)John P.
(1)Cheryl K.
This place is great its my second time here and both times it was rather packed out but we didn't have to wait long. The pizza is great and you get a rather large glass of red wine. The Padilla salads are great. Its all good and the waiters are very friendly to. I love this place.
(5)Toy S.
(4)Nick D.
(5)Jenn D.
Really great pizza, my friend and i had the thai chicken pizza. the ceasar salad was also very tasty. love the outdoor seating. definitely can't wait to go again and try a new dish.
(5)Leanne W.
(5)Mo O.
(4)Jeff H.
(1)H P.
(4)Esther P.
(4)Maximus Decimus Meridius M.
fyi- the "thin crust" pizza here is really a flat bread pizza. i learned that important fact the hard way. serving staff is outstanding. they are really friendly and make you feel right at home. in terms of the pizza i think i'm being generous with the third star but you're in the middle of the desert so i think pizza options are pretty limited. the tomato sauce tastes like straight up tomato paste. i'm not sure why anyone would use tomato paste as the sauce but, again, you're in the middle of the desert where a cup of ice water is a miracle. throw in a slice of pizza from stuft and the next stop is a seat on the first manned mission to mars.
(3)D R.

(5)Ian P.

(3)Katie A.
(4)Mike M.
(4)Janet J.

(4)Elly M.
Great happy hour deals! The food was great and they have generous pours for their drinks. Artichoke was amazing, Ahi was delicious and the fish tacos were awesome!
(5)Daniel M.

(4)Michelle T.
Pizza was yummy and the atmosphere was nice...plenty of tv's and good for kids who can be a little noisy. Our server was also very friendly which is always a huge plus.
(5)Rhiannon R.
(4)Linda L.
This was our favorite, but the service has gone down, and the pizza is not as good for us as Rosati's. It's more expensive, also.
(3)Brian S.
Great pizza place, wish their other locations were this well run. Lots of energy, good staff. Best place to go and hang out in La Quinta.
(4)GP L.
There are three great Pizza places on the west coast. This is one of them. Order the thin crust, well done. The other two are Pizzacato, Encinitas, CA and Red Boy Pizza, Larkspur,CA
(5)Chris S.
(4)Emily B.
(3)Jerid M.
From the Food to the Service this place was great. Server was on spot. Food came out fast. It tasted great, and at a great price! Will be back for sure...plus the outdoor deck is so comfortable!
(5)Ann J.
(4)Linda T.
(4)Alicia H.
I just love Stuft Pizza. Dont think ive tried anything that i didnt love. Tons of selection too. It is a local hot spot so there can be a wait at times but it is very well worth it. Great happy hour specials too.
(5)Joe K.
I love the cobb salad and the spaghetti and meatballs at Stuft Pizza in La Quinta.
(4)Ben P.
(3)Bobbi B.
(5)F M.
Very good value, food and service!
(4)Doug G.
(4)Kay P.
Best pizza ever! Toppings were fresh, dough was cooked well, and the sauce was amazing. Will def eat there again!
(5)Chris B.
(4)Vanesa H.
So yummy!
(4)Jerry J.
The Gourmet Personal pepperoni pizza is probably the best you'll ever have. Greasy & delicious.
(5)Bill B.
(3)Wherez_Andy T.
Consistently good. Great salads. Fun but noisy spot to watch football. The manager is just not welcoming which to me says 'lack of gratitude'.
(4)John R.
Always great & consistent... Always a favorite spot of ours to hang and get great pizza... Highly recommended!
(4)Lori B.
We are a boutique Real Estate Office In Old Town La Quinta. We frequent Stuft Pizza at least once a week. The variety is great for every appetite and price range and they have amazing salads. We enjoy the lunch special they offer and have never been disapointed.
(4)Scott A.
Scampi pizza was good - a little pricey, but it is La Quinta. Firestone Union Jack IPA was a deal at $4.50 a pint.
(3)Shea P.
(1)Randy A.
They have a great thin crust on the pizza. I go there often. Matter of fact, i'm headed there right now for lunch.
(4)Darnelle B.
This is an amazing place, and NOT just for pizza. They have a great cajun tuna thing that is huge and one of my son's favorites. The pizza is sooo good, just that this is on the other side of town. Fun to watch a game and really popular with the locals!
(5)Ryan T.

(1)Charity D.
yummy food, i had their classic pizza and it was pretty good. happy hour drinks were good too, just a tad too sweet.. waitstaff are young, energetic and pleasant. they have outdoor seating which i love too!
(3)I. N.
(2)Nicholas C.
I thought the Thai Pizza was really good, however my friend says CPK's version is the same. We ordered appetizers and salad and food, and everything came all at once. We lost our waitress for a while. Shrimp appetizer was not good. Not sure what the hype is.
(2)Anthony L.
It's some pretty decent pizza in the middle of the desert. Even though it's expensive, the quality and quantity is worth it. Besides, there's nothing else around the neighborhood to eat. They have good service too.
(3)Seana N.
(4)Tiffany S.
(4)Sean M.
Very very nice service and very good food. So knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. They made Mothers Day very nice for the three of us!!!!!!!
(5)Marisa T.
this place offers a variety of good gourmet pizzas. i liked what we had, but prefer good stuff pizza by far. this place was a little expensive for what we paid for & the pizza needed some more flavor. i will continue going to "good stuff" for my pizza in the future.
(3)Sabee B.
(3)Gene B.
(4)Greg S.
(4)Mike K.
Was there for lunch, so good came back for dinner. Absolute positive experience, from professional servers to food quality and all that.
(5)Chris R.
(4)Liza R.
(4)Ponty P.
(1)Lisa W.
Food was okay. Sent back the lettuce wraps we ordered. The chicken filling was very soggy. Pizza was decent and service friendly. Good happy hour prices in beer.
(3)Jody D.
(3)Molly S.
GREEN BEAN FRIES!!! The lunch specials are always worth it and a great deal! The only downside is I want it every day!
(5)Rhonda S.
(3)Art B.
Tried this out after Golf with my brother-in-law. Great many pizza choices. Pretty crowded for a Tuesday night. Sat outside next to the "misters" (good choice, temp was about 93!). Settled on the meatball pizza and it was very good! Cold beers and great service. I recommend.
(5)Ray A.
I love the Southwestern Eggrolls! Service was not terrible; wait time for food was a bit longer than expected but could be due to how busy the place was. I really enjoyed the Tuna sandwich; which is being taken off their menu much to my dismay. We'll be back.
(4)Courtney H.
(5)Bear P.
(2)Mark B.
This place is Pizza Nirvana! This is my third time here and the service is OK but the Pizza is the absolute best I have ever eaten.
(5)Adam S.
(3)Mark A.
(2)Silvia L.

(5)Barbara L.

(5)Rosie D.
(1)LM M.
(5)Jack M.
(3)DC C.
Great atmosphere, good food very crowded. No chance of getting a seat between 5:00 - 8:00. Probly worth the wait but not for me.
(4)Janet E.
(5)Christian P.

(4)JJ S.
Food is good, nothing exciting. It's a little loud and staff can be really nice or kind of in "la-la-land"... It's just ok in my opinion.
(3)Lisa D.
One of our favorite places for pizza in the desert. Patio is fantastic and dog friendly too! Get the green bean fries....yummy!
(4)Candace W.
We went to Stuft for dinner based on a recommendation. We happened to go on Superbowl Sunday. The place wasn't too packed. We had the Classic pizza and the American BBQ pizza and they were awesome! I would go again and also recommend this place to others.
(5)Chris K.
We enjoyed the lunch special. A personal pizza and soda! Great price, great weather. Yummy lunch!
(5)Sarah L.
Great food and great service! The pizza was delicious and the sampler platter is a must! The service was excellent as well!
(5)Elizabeth W.
Super fun place to go with friends and share a plate of green bean fries & pizza. Travis was our waiter and he did a fabulous job! Next time I am in LQ I will for sure come back to SPB.
(4)Anna D.
(5)Robert C.
(5)Travis M.

(4)Josie S.
Visited this place while in Palm Springs. Pizza and caesar salad were very good. The service was good too, but I took a star away bc the Waiter took a little while to check on our table. Would definitely return!
(4)Vicky B.
(5)Nancy D.
(5)Melanie P.
(4)Summer R.
We will be back for sure! Thanks for replying to my review, John!
(5)Melanie W.
They have to best Pizza in the Valley ...the atmosphere is ok ,,(always a bit to noisy for me..but then I like quiet ) the staff is very friendly and helpful ... a great place to laugh and enjoy great Pizza
(4)Bre D.
We were driving around on a Sunday afternoon looking for a brunch/lunch spot and of course everything with eggs on the menu was a minimum 40 min wait (due to the Coachella Music Festival) so we kept driving. We stumbled upon old town La Quinta and good thing we did! What a cute area. We stopped into Stuft and were seated on the patio immediately. I ordered the Gourmet Monroe pizza and it was delish! It really hit the spot for lunch. My fiancé got the club sandwich and fries (they were the perfect fries!) The service was great too! Definitely recommend.
(4)Melissa L.
(4)Lucas W.

(4)Travis B.
(5)Jordan M.
This pizza is downright delicious...but I gave it 3 stars because it's ridiculously priced. I ordered 2 large pizzas and a salad, and it was $70. That seems like a lot to me for some pizza
(3)Kris B.
(4)Dominic E.

(5)Andrew K.
(3)Roosevelt J.

Fried green beans Amazing pizza Steak salad is my favorite Only complaint, always a long wait for table and food takes forever But for some reason we keep coming back.
(4)Amanda T.
Best green bean fries ever!! Loved loved loved the stuffed portobello mushroom app, too. Everyone really enjoyed their meals and the service was friendly. Super great Happy Hour prices. Can't wait to go back!
(5)Yvonne M.
This is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is always fresh, and delicious . The service is friendly and the atmosphere has a great patio and indoor sports bar.
(5)Nicole H.
(5)Jessica S.
(3)Simplee G.
Beautiful location, very nice. customer service was amazing. Never was my drink empty. Food was average at best, I expected better quality on the pizza thoe especially since it's part of their specialty. Would go back. Loved the atmosphere
(4)Jay C.
(5)Lara D.
(5)Meg M.
Great service, good happy hour, and you can get 15%off with coupons that you get on the back of your Ralph's receipt.
(5)Felicia A.
Service has gotten better and food as well. I love the pizzas. Happy hour is still amazing deal. I have had dinner here a few times but its still stuck in the middle of being to pricey for the quality. Although the chicken with the capers is addicting. Not sure what its called.
(4)Carley L.
I love this place! This is my favorite happy hour spot without a doubt. You can never go wrong with pizza and beer and this restaurant has the best of both worlds. Great drinks, food, and service.
(5)Nati B.
Waited long time for service. Manager visiting with friends. Not aware or didn't care
(2)Deborah H.
Consistently great, family owned, popular La Quinta Old Town spot for excellent pizza, salads, pastas, burgers, and a fantastic happy hour. Highly recommend sitting outside if you can. Nice atmosphere. Very good prices. Great for couples and families. Dog friendly outside too!
(5)Morris W.
This is a favorite of ours when we are in LaQuinta! The Tuna Poke and Lettuce Wraps are Killer Good. Try and make the very, very popular "Happy Hour"... You receive 20 or 25% off all the appetizers! Really worth your time and money... Enjoy WEST-MORRY
(5)Adriana S.
(5)Sarah A.
Worst service EVER Rude Nonresponsive Slow Mean Good luck The bar sucks The server was pleyney She can't meet any eye contact I think she hates her customers It's too bad
(1)Animal-Lover J.
This restaurant is loud and chaotic. Not much choice for gluten free. Not much choice period. I've been there several times, but food and/or service is inconsistent.
(3)Randy B.
(5)Chelsea S.
(5)Grace M.
Excellent.
