This location is always clean, always upbeat, and I truly enjoy coming here. I'm a Black Tie fan and love this place much more than Starbucks.

I love peet's, it's so relaxing and the staff, the coffee , and the atmosphere all works well with me. And not to mention it's right by my work which is making me go broke! It's nice to have peet's close for a change since it's usually Starbucks. And they have a really handsome barista working there. Now I'm Really gonna go broke ;)

We always seem to stop here when we are on this route out of the Bay Area. Never have had a problem with the service. Coffee is consistently good. Tastes like Peet's, which is the only large coffee chain I like. Coffee at Peet's holds it's own with many independent (good) coffee shops.

I left a really negative review for Starbucks this morning, and this is the positive converse review for Peets. Starbucks are never friendly, forget to add vanilla to my latte at least every other time and today was the straw that broke the camels back. She gave me my total of 6.05 for a latte. SIX DOLLARS FOR A LATTE?!?! And she proceeded to condescendingly ask me if there was anything else I'd rather get.... I happily drove my ass to Peets, where I was happy to get my shoes wet for good customer service, the correct drink and for two dollars cheaper. The barista at Peets complimented my name, gave me a discount on my drink because I bought a bag of Espresso beans, and the overall experience was fantastic. Even my drink didn't have that Starbucks signature bitter-burnt taste. I think I'm going to trade my gold card in for Peets.

I love how Peet's always has a Yelp check in offer. Peet's coffee really doesn't need any review, people will come here regardless if you rate it a 1 or a 5 star. What I do love about Peet's over the other chains (S'bux) is they provide vegan pastries. I've tried a variety of different drinks from Peet's from the standard coffee to the Raspberry Macha Freddo. I haven't really had any drink that was horrible. They still need to work on the Green Tea Match (hot version). It's not as good as S'bux but the new Raspberry Macha Freddo is off the chart. It's my new drink addiction. What I also love about Peet's is they don't charge extra for soy unlike other places. At least the ones I've encountered. As I'm writing this review, I just realized I did have one bad experience and that was my attempt in the fall to have a ginger latte with a ginger cookie....OMG bad mistake, wayyyyy too much ginger going on. The Keurig pods they offer now are really good if you want to make coffee at home. If your vegan, they offer the following pastries to accompany your drink...oatmeal, chocolate chip and Ginger Cookie. They also have a scone but, beware as it is very dry and without a cup of coffee it can get stuck in your throat, not a pleasant experience.

I love this Peets location! Great staff, awesome barista and coffee, service is excellent and always clean and orderly. Especially after the new store manager took over recently.

This my home coffee shop and the best around. Staff are always pleasant and happy to help you, very refreshing in today's retail market.

Not my favorite location. The bathroom was dirty and on the way out a crackhead looking lady was trying to get in. She freaked out my 4yr old and I'm not going to lie, she freaked me out too. Not your normal Peets customer, I'm guessing the location is kinda ghetto...? I dunno. But finally got to try the Mayan Mocha...soo bomb!! But I also love hot cocoa. My hubby tried it and he just thought "it was okay" because it was too chocolatey for him.

En route to my parents house yesterday I was craving caffeine and decided to pop in here for my fix. I hadn't been in here for years. Mostly because their parking lot isn't the best and well, I'm a Starbucks/Dutch Bros kinda gal. I came in here knowing they had a great selection of coffee and tea, but I was surprised to see just how big it actually was. There's a whole menu board with all kinds of different coffees to choose from. I was so entranced with that section of the menu board that I didn't even notice the variety of their teas. My caffeine day dream came screeching back to reality when a male barista said "Miss!" and I realized I was next. Looking over at him initially he had that look on his face that we've all seen more than once - raised eyebrows, lips tight in an annoyed smirk - definitely none to excited to take my order at that moment. I decided to go with an iced Caramel Macchiato and took to perusing the tea accessories while it was made. What seemed like moments later another male barista called out my name (kudos for pronouncing it right!) and placed in my hand the worst macchiato I've ever, ever had. First off, the coffee taste burnt. I don't even know how that's possible with an espresso drink! It seriously tasted like they used coffee that'd been sitting on a warming tray since yesterday. Ugh, it was NOT pleasant. After stirring and stirring and adding a splash of vanilla almond milk at my parents' house it was just slightly better. Most of what I did drink of it was consumed after the ice had melted significantly, further diluting the burned coffee flavor. Ai yi yi. Having gotten sub par customer service and crappy coffee here doesn't make me too eager to return again. Maybe another good stretch of time and I'll give it another go. For now though, I'm sticking with my Dutch Bros and the occasional Starbucks.

i'm on vacation up here and decided to try this place instead of Starbucks after trying it I realize this is the best coffee place ever. I got a new beverage called the hazelnut cinnamon latte. It's a must have!!!

Art 4 Aid Inc. Wishes to thank manager Scott and his wonderful crew of employees who have made our fund raising for Veterans in Rio Vista a successful venture. My husband & I have been steady Peet's customers for 2 years ever since we moved from the Bay Area to this area of California. Never have we seen such a display of compassion and love then with each of these great people he has working for him. Thank you so much for your love and support! A & C Stoia Art 4 Aid Inc.

This Peets used to be the last of its kind. Calm, classical music, warm and friendly environment. Seems upper management decided to finally compromise for a younger crowd. Now the air conditioning is at a much cooler temperature, and they no longer are playing "study" music, but loud bass and guitar music.

Their coffee is the best in Fairfield, but that's not the reason I come here. Mr. Brendan has me coming back each and every day with his charming personality and suave nature. He's devilishly good-looking and when he handed me my cappuccino our hands touched. He then gave me a little smile. I'll be back soon... So he can have my babies.

The last two visits have been a major let down! I love coconut and since they are the only coffee place offering it I came here for it. First time they were out of it. Today it wasn't put in my drink and my drink was disgusting, shots were old and both white mocha and coconut were missing. I think for over $5 a drink it should be made right.

You know, I've been a Starbucks girl, a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf girl...but honestly, I am love-love-loving Peet's. I just moved back to Fairfield following a 7 year stint in Los Angeles. I started missing all those cute little cafes I used to hang out in. Enter Peet's. I love all their drinks. So far its all about the teas for me. The winter selection of Godiva drinks were super delicious but not too sweet or rich. Just right. The staff is super friendly! I just wish they had more large tables. They just have one really large one that everyone fights for. But I love that I get free wi-fi for a bit when purchasing a drink! Peet's is pretty much my meet up spot and hang out while I plan my upcoming wedding. Just watch out for the weird influx of traffic from in-n-out once in a while.

Usually, I love Peet's coffee. This location however is quite a let down. As I walk in, one of the baristas is openly engaging in a conversation with 2 customers about how hungover/still drunk they all are. As my order is taken, I notice I'm the only person in line since I arrived that wasn't asked my name, or if I wanted room left in my coffee. So after making it clear I wanted no room left, I'm told the medium roast needs brewing. Ok, no problem, except I watch them dump a bag of pre-ground Pete's into the machine. Really? To top this experience off, I'm handed a large, 3/4 full coffee, and told that isn't "room", it is their large pour. If I wanted a medium size I would have ordered a goddamned medium. What a joke

Well to say the least I was having a rough morning until I walked into Peet's. Scott was very friendly and very outgoing he played trivia with me while I waited for my coffee and also gave me a coupon to come back for another coffee. I don't live in the area so it's always a treat to stop by When I can thanks Scott for making my morning better and leaving me with a big smile on my face as I left!

I don't care for Starbucks so I only go to Pete's. But This Pete's may as well be Starbucks. They don't recognize customers by name and I have a registered frequent card,so that's not hard. They don't change up their Batista ever so if the guy Mon-Fri can't get it right and is always grouchy and seeming tired, burnt out and over worked, he will continue to make Bad Expensive coffee beverages and never get it right. Fairfield Pete's... Take some notes from the Vacaville Pete's. And Please rotate your Batista.

I normally am a huge fan of Peet's, I recently moved from Arizona and had never been to one before until recently. i came in and saw the store was pretty messy looking, the homeless man outside was asleep on the bench and stank to high heaven. But to be quite honest I wasn't please with the inside as well. This being my first time to the Fairfield location I was hoping for a similar experience to the one I get in Vacaville. I came in and a man looking like he had better things to do with a spiderman shirt on, he also wasn't wearing an apron didn't even say hello to me and just waited for me to speak I think, I asked for a non-fat iced chai and he just punched it in after I gave him my name, which he didn't even ask for and said my total. I was a little put off since it seemed like I was clearly bothering him by even being there. He was the only one behind the counter and saw him move down to the bar to make my drink. He called out my chai without even saying my name, and put it on the counter. I said thank you and put my lid on feeling awkward about the whole experience. I then got home and tasted it and oh my gosh was it awful, I know Peet's recently changed their recipe which I honestly really like. I have had this drink hot and iced many times but it never tasted like this, it was sour and awful. Much like the mans disposition. Either way, I'll stick the the Vacaville one. I wouldn't want to run into this guy again.

Hands down!! Fairfield Peets customer service is the BOMB!! And guess what?!? I converted my boyfriend from a Starbucks fan to a Peets fan.. To celebrate, I bought him a $25 gift card and Peets gave me a complimentary drink for free.. I don't think Starbucks does that.. When I was here last, I heard that Peets will give you a complimentary brewed coffee, of your choice, when you buy a bag of their coffee.. WHAT?!?! At Starbucks, you had to be a GOLD star club card holder, but recently that has changed. They NO longer offer FREE soy or syrups.. They will charge!!! Ugh, in this economy, you have to keep your dedicated clients happy or else, they will leave.. and in this case.. that's what my boyfriend and I did.. LEAVE.. Their pastry choices are delicious too! I cant get over how great Peets Fairfield is.. Thanks Peets for hiring awesome people!

Will I cross a freeway just for some Peet's? Absolutely. Because I love Peet's coffee! I like getting a caffeine boost before hitting up the gym & I occasionally work out at the gym near Solano Mall. So, even though Seattle's World-dominating coffee chain has a shop also near the mall, I'll drive out of my way, over to the other of the side of the freeway for my caffeine fix. This Peet's is like most others, but a bit more spacious. There's a decent amount of parking in the lot right in front of the store & service for me has been both friendly & efficient. + there's a bonus, there's a $1 off any beverage check-in offer on the Yelp app! Awesome Peet's coffee + $1 off? You're damn right I'm crossing the freeway for some Peet's. Before the gym or just passing through Fairfield, this Peet's is where I'll be at.

A friend of mine introduced me to Peet's Coffee months ago and I have been faithful ever since. Everything is fresh, the location is always clean, the staff is all around amazing. They are friendly, helpful, kind, efficient, etc. They remember me when I come in and chat for a little bit instead of just handing me my coffee and "next"! Their drinks are wonderful, the beans never taste burnt, and the food is light and fluffy and yummy...I mainly stick with the Pumpkin Spice Bread because it's fabulous. They also have oatmeal, muffins, pastries, juices, water, salads, etc. I feel Peet's is MUCH better than other coffee/tea places out there. And, the prices are comparable.

As always I'm a fan of Peet's and this occasion was kinda funny since we were on the road and I got a Chai Tea from Starbucks when we left home and it was horrible. So when my friend wanted to stop to go by the bank we saw this place and I immediately wanted a GOOD Chai Tea Latte. Oh and they always have the check-in offers on Yelp so don't forget you $1 off. In the little announcement area I was so excited to see that they actually have added ALMOND MILK to their choices! I am so excited!!! They announced it 3 days ago so didn't have when I was there last but I wonder if they knew it was coming? Well anyhow they do now at all their locations. The staff here was friendly and fast and we were on our way in no time with fabulous beverages!! THANKS AGAIN Peet's for adding ALMOND MILK to your menu of options! LOVE IT.

Tried their Matcha Green tea Freddo and it was quite flavorful and their whipped cream was good, too(waayy better than Starbucks)! Their chocolate scone was quite delish as well :) I'd come here again, but I need to bring a jacket cos it's Freezing in there(and I went there on a HOT day)!!! ;)

  • Fahad A.

This is a nice cozy place to be and spend time at. However, I highly recommend to go there in the morning since the baristas are so much cheery and friendly. At afternoon and onward, it starts to look like a Mexican stand-off especially since some of the people here you strike a conversation are anti-social. But in morning, it's blissfully warmer, all credited to the smiles and cheers of the baristas. Might as well have Christmas here every morning. Bonus brownie points to that barista with bubblegum pink hair! She reminds you of Tonks from Harry Potter.

I am a die-hard fan of Starbucks but now that I've started to drink Peet's Coffee, I think I like Starbucks just because there is a branch almost everywhere you go. Walking into Peet's Coffee may seem it is just like any other coffee shop where people can just relax and enjoy company but for some odd reason, it feels a bit more "at home" for me. The smell of fresh coffee is in the air and the coffee has more flavor to it. I think the $1 - off a drink when you check in is a pretty good deal! I just wish there was Peet's in Vallejo.

I prefer Peets to Starbucks when it comes to coffee, but I prefer Starbucks to Peets when it comes to service. Starbucks is a well oiled machine. Peets is a Three Stooges movie.

  • Rachelle W.

I generally love Peet's coffee but my girlfriend and I both walked out with drinks that had no flavor. Sure we should have checked before leaving but we were in a rush, and therefore just jumped back on the road without the opportunity to ask them to remake the drinks. But none the less the guys were so distracted talking to each other that they didn't make the drinks right. Unimpressed.

  • Jackie V.

It's always treat when I get to get a cup of coffee for myself. It's extra special when I get a coupon with checking in for $ off my drink. This is an awesome idea. It's not everyday I get to treat myself to these $4.00 adventures, but when a company offers their customer an incentive to try their product it is very hard to say no. Especially when it's Peet's! In my opinion they are a step above Starbucks (I still like Starbucks- don't think I'm being a kiss up because I got a good deal). Every time I go to a Peet's Coffee it's clean and there is not a huge wait. Plus the taste and quality is different compared to Starbucks. I can't wait to go back and hopefully with my next check in I might get lucky with another deal!

the guy at the counter was so nice! i thought the hot chocolate was too sweet, and he put in some coffee to balance it out.

My first time at Peet's. The baristas were very slow, and the cashier gave me a defective lid that slipped off, spilling hot coffee all over my hand and brand new jacket. Should've went to Starbucks.

Love peets coffee but some of the workers here are fu**ing rude. Rick the dick for example hasn't had his coffee this morning obviously. Never coming back to this location. If your looking for an asshole to make your coffee then I highly recommend coming here! ;)

Love Peets coffee, however even though I live in Fairfield, I usually go to the Peets in Vacaville. About a month ago, my husband and I decided to try the Fairfield Peets on Holiday Lane. It was a sat morning so there was a line. As my husband stood there patiently, waiting for his turn, the barista, who I assumed was the manager because she was not wearing an apron, asked my husband what he wanted to order. She was standing a good distance away and because my husband didn't want to yell out his order, he stepped out of line to tell her. Rudely, the customers behind him moved forward forcing my husband to go BACK to the line. I explained to the barista (the lazy one who couldn't walk closer to him) that she should have told the cashier his order so she could ring him up (Starbucks does this) and she had the nerve to say to me "what does it matter, he's still gonna get his coffee"! Who the hell says that shit??!!! I said to her that it did matter because he is now at the BACK of the line! Unprofessional and rude...I will never step foot in that Peets again. They need to better communicate with one another and that manager needs to not be so lazy and walk up to the customer when asking their order. I am a former barista and I would have made sure that the cashier rang up the customer whose order I just took. I love Vacaville Peets...they are friendly, courteous and have way better customer service.

Great drink. Fast service. Super friendly staff. I can't recall the young man's name who helped us , but he was tall and just really friendly and welcoming. He made the awesome Mayan mocha that much more enjoyable.

I drive from Sacramento to the Bay Area several times a month. Stopping at Pete's is now a tradition. Specially when that drive is early in the morning. The staff is always friendly and the coffee is always right on.

Although I am a Starbucks regular, I do enjoy peets coffee pumpkin latte...much better than Starbucks. Plus their rewards program is a better deal:each time you reload the card with $25, you get a free med drink. So it's actually like a free drink with every 5 drinks you purchase and not 15 like Starbucks...

  • Maryann V.

I was actually looking for the closest Starbucks to my route on the way up to Sac for a baby shower during the middle of March when i found a Peet's! *cheers* It's not that they have overcomplicated options or are always obviously popular, it's the TEA for me. The staff getting my order ready was friendly, the tea came in an (unexpected) tea bag instead of loose leaf, and they were quick. Even with the line, I was in and out in under five minutes. Mmmm, this will become my go-to tea place ont eh way up to Sac or Tahoe.

Fairly speedy Peet's with three nice baristas working there today... was good to take respite from the driving and up my caffeine to hemoglobin ratio. They made a nice peppermint mocha to give me a boost.

This Peet's location is a diamond in the rough when it comes to Fairfield area coffee joints. The customer service is great. All the staff is friendly, helpful and, more importantly, know how to make great drinks.

There really isn't too many choices in Fairfield when it comes to coffee and there appear to be tons of Starbuck's chains in town. Thus, I'm giving this place five stars because it's hands down the best choice for coffee in Fairfield.

    (5)
  • Sam K.

Very convenient along Highway 680 and plenty of parking spaces. They also have $1.00 promotion with Yelp check in. 5 stars

What can you say, they serve really good coffee at an affordable price. I would rather go here than Starbucks any day.

  • Dan R.

Today's cashier, Becky, told me "we have no peppermint, we have no whipped cream, we have no help, I guess we are out of everything," then went on to tell another customer wanting to buy a pastry that, sure, Peets had some good stuff but they should check out her own Facebook page instead where she does better desserts

I heart Pete's so it didn't matter much that the gals working here were kinda nutso. Still, I had a one-DER-full Vanilla Latte...extra foam. So...YUM!! Now, open one in Benicia/Vallejo puhhhhleeeze!?!?!?

    (4)
  • Christopher V.

I'm kinda a Starbucks Nazi so you had better make sure you stir up my mocha or you will hear it from me. For a first time here at Peet's I walk into a huge line and am massively impressed by the speed of the staff here. When I revived my ice nonfat mocha with no whip cream I felt I found a little slice of heaven and may have been converted from my norm... cheers Peet's good service and good drinks... the girls in green better watch out, or learn from this establishment!!

I much prefer Peets over *buck$. Their Espresso doesn't taste burned, and the drinks are much more consistent. This afternoon I dropped in for something refreshing. I'm always impressed at how everyone seems to know the customers. Today they were fawning over a cute little kid in a halloween costume who was a little shy, and bantering with half a dozen other folks in there. Its always like this. Even at 5am. Its like CHEERS, without the beer. I half expect Cliffy and Norm to amble in for some Lattes. Anyway, they mixed my order up (first time EVER!) and were falling all over themselves to fix it. It was half my fault, I ordered and sat down to browse on my phone and wasn't paying attention. Anyway, they quickly made up for it. If you're going to make a mistake, take care of it quickly, efficiently and apologetically. You can't do any better than they did today! The only two complaints I have would be a) no drive thru (which isn't really their fault) and b) they're not closer to my house!

    (5)
  • Patty W.

I tricked my husband into coming here. I told him that it was a DRIVE THROUGH PEET's. Alas, it is not. There is a drive through Starbucks off of this same exit, and I confused the two. Still, why go to Starbucks when I can go to a Peet's? Two Americanos (one caffeinated and one decaf) in less than five minutes, this is probably almost as convenient as a drive through. Not really... sigh. I didn't mean to lie. Really, I didn't! Peet's corporate: please read this and open some drive through Peet's Coffees!

    (3)
  • Jennifer M.

On my way to Sacramento for business I stopped over to Peet's. Wow! The best non-fat latte ever!!!! Very clean and spacious and overall the service was great! Right near the 80 freeway so you do not have to go far for your cup of java and you can head back to the freeway.

*Ahem* Let me get my soap box from out of the stock room. Peet's: Better than Starbucks any day of the week. The Fairfield Location: Not that bad, but could be better as there is always room to improve. I'm not going to write a novel about this place like some people have done, it's a coffee shop. And no, it's not like Starbucks. Starbucks sells atmosphere. They wouldn't survive if it was just the products selling. The baristas have always been pretty educated in their field, and pleasant enough. It's a shame how many people pass this wonderful option by because they're familiar with Starbucks. And all the "Fairfield is just a military right-wing " stuff is just bullshit. I don't care who you voted for, keep it outta the review.

  • Patty P.

First off, I love love love coffee! It's the first thing I think of when I wake up...and it helps me get through my day. I wish the central valley had a Peets but no it just contains millions and millions of Starbucks (which is not that great). This place in Fairfield was very soothing, as you walk in the door you get that coffee high instantly through smell. I had a carmel latte and was happy with it....I think my barista was brand new. Their ice teas are really good so ask for a sample if you are unsure if you will like it.

I've been to this location twice. My mochas were good. I rate them a 3 due to the stores cleanliness. The restroom had a horrible smell, grafitti, and a dirty toilet. Their back counter looked messy with soiled towels everywhere. Literally! It makes me question food safety with my beverage! I won't go back.

I love Peet's Coffee so usually on long trips I tried to find a Peet's. So I was driving back from Placerville area and was feeling kinda sleepy. (Who wouldn't be if their running on 4 hours of sleep with a two hour drive back to Bay Area?) Felt like I need my double dose of white mocha caffeine. I stumbled on the Peet's sign on the freeway, I immediately exit and drove myself into their parking. My usual is always small extra hot white mocha. In a five minute (maybe less) time frame I was able to: ordered, paid and potty break. I left happy. These guys area fast and friendly.

  • Kelli H.

I usually stop here on my way to snowboard in Tahoe but I stopped here last Saturday around 6:30 am on the way to a backpacking trip. I always love it. I've never had a bad latte. It's super easy to get to from hwy 80. One thing I hate about Peet's is that if you want whip cream on your latte they charge you 35 cents and then they only give you a tiny little squirt about a dime size. So, if your drink doesn't come with it, I wouldn't order it. At least here, they warn you about the extra charge.

I absolutely love love love this particular Peet's Coffee. The staff is awesome & the manager, Tom, is the best! Prior to moving, I came to this Peet's every single morning for about 2 years. I'd walk in, they'd spot me, ask me if I want a medium or large, and have my complicated crazy latte ready for me just the way I like it by the time I got through the line to pay. Every associate knew mine (as well as many other regulars) names and order. (They still have my order down pat when I come to visit my hometown, and sometimes it's a 5 month gap!!) It's pricey but isn't all coffee these days? It's very much worth the cost for the quality of coffee and excellent customer service they provide, I can't say the same for any other big name coffee shops. Don't be turned off if the line seems extremely long, it's well worth it, not to mention they know what they're doing & will whip through the line very quickly. You'll be on your way in no time. ;))

Sigh. Someday I won't have to review coffeeshops on how good the environment is for studying. I won't have to apologize to patrons for nasty (e.g. fungal infection) pictures they might have seen on my computer before I was able to snag that table in the corner. Someday I will be able to sit in a coffeeshop with the frou frou espresso drink I will be able to afford, and just appreciate relaxing conversation or reading a good book-that-is-not-a-textbook. Until then: 1. There is only one "table"-table near the wall, and therefore only one "table"-table to sit at while plugged in. The rest of the wall-seating is at long, shallow, shared bench-like, shelf-like tables with no real room for a laptop plus writing area. And the rest of the "table"-tables are in the middle of the room, so plugging in means you have to worry about someone tripping over your cord. 2. The music is loud, but it's classical. 3. This Peet's is right by the freeway, so it was fairly busy. 4. No internet, which was a good thing for me. I needed to minimize the distractions. The loud kids, people talking on their cell phones, and blenders rumbling bothered me, but that would have happened with or without the studying. And I appreciated the very nice, cheerful service; the tea steeped in a pot; and the very generous cut of zucchini bread. The windows were nice too - I could look outside and see the crazy weather (HAIL!) from anywhere in the shop. Sorry to everyone there for coughing my head off - I really was taking care to cover my mouth (with my sleeve, not my hand!) and not contaminate anything. And sorry for the fungal infection pictures. :-/

Peet's is the best coffee shop I have been to in California so far. The coffee in amazing and so in the tea. The service was so nice every one talks to and is genuinely interested, and if there not they are good at what they do. I can't wait to go back again!

This is the very first Peet's Coffee & Tea I visited and had a soy chai tea latte. It wasn't bad, but it tasted a bit just like plain tea. It was really nice inside. It feels cozy and very clean. I would visit Peet's Coffee again, but I may need to get milk in my chai tea latte.

Now now gentlemen, settle down. I was NOT in Fairfield trying to pick up on military boys. I will have you know that I outgrew my "men in uniform" phase in my early undergrad years. Well, save for a few handsome US Naval Academy alumni in recent years...but never you mind that... Anyway, I was on my way back from Davis this afternoon when I saw this Peet's so proudly displaying it's presence in a big sign that was visible from the 80. I wish there were more advance warning though...I cut off and pissed off a few people (and was barely missed by a CHP) when I abruptly exited off a very short off ramp to get to this place. Then I got lost trying to find it once I left the freeway. Anyhow, the Peet's is in a decent shopping center with enough parking. Mind you, I am used to either performing some messed up parallel parking attempts or to pumping meters with quarters in order to get to my regular Peet's locations. This is a luxury for sure. This Peet's is open until 9. Ok, seriously, what's up with that? Why are all the Peet's in lame locations such as Fairfield and Livermore open later than the Peet's in bigger cities? Is it because there is nothing else to do except sit around and drink coffee? Well, in Livermore's case, "yes." In Fairfield's case, well, gonna assume "yes" too. The service is kinda inept. I was standing at the counter for quite some time before the baristas at the coffee bar stopped tooling around and told me that they'd get to me shortly. And then I waited around for a bit longer before someone from the back appeared and took my order. Now, I was first in line. The place was not busy. And maybe two ladies were hanging around the lid and cream bar without their drinks. I had plenty of time to use the (not appropriately stocked) bathroom while they made my drink. I had plenty of time to stand around and be annoyed while they made my drink...after they made two other drinks...when I was first in line...after waiting for a while to get served. And then my name was pronounced "Christine." So annoying. It is possible that they were fixing the machine or something...just tell me if that is the case. Thankfully, the shopping center is right next to the west-bound I-80 on-ramp so that I could hurry my dirty, liberal, Obama-loving self out of this Peet's in a military town and back to my natural urban habitat. At least three stars by default for being Peet's. However, my Oakland and Berkeley baristas could seriously put this gang to shame!

first of all...this place was FREEZING. But, it's a nice change from the hot as balls weather that good ol' Fairfield offers. This place offers free Wi-Fi...which is amazing, but for only two hours. Not good for those long "study" sessions. The tables could be bigger, the classical music could be lower, and the place could be hotter...but hey....better coffee and internet is all i could really need at the moment.

Great, knowledgable staff. They have dubbed my husband "The Mystery Tea Guy" because he always tells them to surprise him with an unusual tea. Fun place to hang.

I love Peet's Coffee for it's freshly brewed COFFEE..not mixed fancy drinks or whipped crazy concoctions. Coffee is always fresh, never burnt and brewed to perfection. You also order coffee in sizes, you know small, medium, and large! I also love that staff is great and always helpful in every little way. I couldn't decide on a reduced fat raspberry scone or the cream currant scone but Jaime was able to inform me that it was quite rubbery and the texture would be something that I wouldn't like. Wonderful brew of the day was the Fair Trade, and I remembered it because Jaime told me. I love that.

I stop here on my way to the Napa Valley, Vallejo, San Francisco, Oakland... basically anytime I drive by. I WISH WISH WISH they had a drive thru, but alas! It's still worth it to stop in... Peet's Americano's are unmatched and make my drives so much happier.

I'm such a fan of Peets Coffee. I love their rich and robust flavors compared to Starbucks burnt coffee taste. To see an actual Peets Coffee in Fairfield excited my taste buds the moment I saw their store sign proudly displayed from the freeway. The menu is nothing like Starbucks. The way I see it.. they don't need all the froo-froo drinks to attract customers. Their coffee basically sells itself. Now don't get the wrong idea.. they do have their version of "frappuccinos" which they call "freddos" but nothing beats their iced caffe lattes or black coffees. Despite their awesome drinks I don't care for the actual coffee shop itself. Well for starters... 1. Regardless of the outdoor's temperature it's always a negative 30 degrees inside. I hate that! 2. There's no Wi-Fi 3. There's no comfy lounge chairs like Starbucks 4. They don't have newspapers or "games" out for people to enjoy as they sip on their drinks 5. It's not "hang-out" friendly. There are tons of 2-person tables and not enough 4 tops to accommodate groups.

This is an excellent road stop while traveling on I-80. The place is clean. The service is quick, they get your order right and there is a steady flow of customers so the coffee is fresh. Oh yeah and for you Starbucks haters it isn't.

Peets coffee has some of the best flavor of the local-ish chains. I've only had one bad espresso shot at this one ever - and this is my morning spot. Cant beat a Jasmine lime cooler when the sun is beating down either. So glad they opened a peets here.
