Nice corner location, but not a lot of parking out back. This PE was cleaner than others I have been too, but the food seemed "stale", like it was sitting around for a long time. We went on a Saturday, the day of the De Anza flea market (right across the street), so it was super busy that day. It's possible that they anticipated the huge crowds and made some food in advance, but PE usually cooks new batches of food when it gets low at the front counter. Instead of getting over-priced food at one of the food booths in the parking lot, we decided to cross the street to eat here. I mean the food was okay, it just was missing the spot and not tasting like I remember at other PE's. It's okay fast food when you're only other options are greasy burgers or nitrate-filled hot dogs from questionable food booths at the flea market. Like all PE's, there is a self-serve soda fountain, so you need only to order a small drink and get as many free refills as you want. Better to use PE's restrooms instead of the nasty portable potties at the flea market.

The Panda....in an area where it's the only option for Americanized chinese food, I have to eat here a lot when I get that urge. Unfortunately, the SC locations never cooks enough food. When we asked how long it would be for more food (every tray except Beijing Beef was empty), they said the cook was on break. So....only one person can make food here? Something's not right. This is a chronic problem with the Panda. We left and went to the next location - they had a scoop each of what we wanted, but everything else except the Orange Chicken was empty, too. SC is the only location we've found that does not chop up the chilis into small, tiny, unremovable bits, so they are good for that if you need to avoid the extra spice. And even though Starbucks is gone (right?) there's still only like, 16 parking spots, so good luck!

really bus friendly XD I eaten here a lot of times the only thing I dislike is that the price has gone up.

Really no where close to some other Chinese food places in the area. It's not even that cheap but works out for a lot of college students. Service is good but it can get busy in that small space.

Conveniently located next to DeAnza College where I was taking a Saturday course. Clean, well lit restaurant. Large selection of dishes to choose from. Nice seating area with large window views. Fast service.

Very fast and friendly Panda Express in a great location, but the parking here is terrible.

Very quick service! I like their mushroom chicken dish the most. It's great for take out.

Been here a few times, for the past few months. The food good, but the line to get the food moves really slow.

Love orange chicken, very clean restaurant!

The food here is cheap but contains too much oil. You can easily gain weight by eating this. Sometimes, the food is too oil to be finished by Chinese people.

  • Kimmy G.

Mmm...orange chicken The people were nice and helpful and the food was super fresh. Its nice as long as there aren't really slow moving people in front of you, like there were for me today. But seriously orange chicken...yum

Love this place.. And I've been to other Pandas around town and the people are the friendliest here

  • Kevin S.

Always solid and fairly inexpensive. I go regularly around dinner time and it's always fresh. I've never been disappointed and I'm always satisfied. Portions are fairly large and the service is always quick.

PANDA, the lovable Chinese fast food chain. I'm pretty sure every Panda I've been to is exactly the same as the f-ing next one. I remember coming here when this location had it's grand opening, it's actually one few you will find outside of the malls. Honestly, this place hasn't changed much since then. Even though I don't eat here much now, I remember many occasions in college when I did. I know that all the food items are completely Americanized, but I like think they do a decent job of making the stuff. Food is always pretty fresh because they have to keep cooking more and more throughout the day. And the best part for me is that they don't use MSG. I hate when Chinese places have to use MSG in their food, just so wrong. I appreciate that they clearly posts signs here about having NO MSG.

a panda express right next to de anza. this is where all my money goes sigh... and its a panda express. its tastes exactly like all panda expresses ive been to.

I always get the Panda Feast, $25 for 5 take-out cartons (2 large entrees and 3 sides) , which feeds 4. The cartons are relatively small-ish looking, but most ot the servers pack it decently well. The Black Pepper Chicken with celery, and Chow Mein are delectible~. Their veggies are sooooo fresh and crispy. The other dishes, are so-so to good overall, i think. The broccoli in the Beef Broccoli is so crispy fresh! Their veggies are top-notch. I'm getting hungry just tellin' you about this. I wish they had drive-thru though coz I don't like standing in the line, and usually parking is crowded to boot, then walking to-fro, seems like that whole process is too long. For me, the ingredients look fresh, and they're obviously cooking it fresh (right behind the counter) and the food rotates fast (sells out, they refill it, etc.), so, I can take a slight reduction in authentic flavor and big reduction for variety - for freshness quality of the food. That is my biggest gripe with other Chinese buffets (Mr. Chau's, ugh! I never get food poisoning, but did there), how long has that food been sitting there? and how fresh were the ingredients to begin with? At least at Panda (knocking on the red pressboard wood tables) they have fresh stuff and it tastes good.

Repulsive and disgusting are the two best words I can use to describe Panda Express. Despite its low price, its not worth eating here. The rice is stall and the food is dry but over sauced. I rather starve than eat here.

People think I'm crazy that I like Panda... But I do! I tend to go with their orange chicken.

Normally, I don't frequent places like this but I had to make a quick stop for someone else. Ahem, "quick" is the key word here and there was nothing "quick" about this place. I drove around for what seemed like days (REALITY: it was 7 minutes) and could NOT find parking. Apparently, parking is really limited and most of their business comes from De Anza students that are able to just walk there. I tried to park in the parking lot next door that belongs to the Hawaiian BBQ place but was greeted by their DO NOT PARK HERE OR WE'LL TOW type sign. In short, this place sucks because of the lack of parking. Does anyone else notice the recent trend of businesses in Cupertino with REALLY limited parking? What happened?

    (1)
  • Salem T.

Went back here today...the food is still dry, but i noticed they give really really big portions so i gave it an extra star then again who wants alot of really dry kung pao chicken? oh well haha

    (3)
  • Jim C.

Consistent Americanized Chinese food - not great but decent amount of veggies and hits the spot when I need a quick bite. The parking lot can get full quickly but they do have a parking lot guard to keep out all the illegal De Anza college parking. Bottom line: As expected. And nice to have Starbucks next door to offset the Chinese food after-lunch coma.

  • Michael C.

Having been born and raised in the US, this is the kind of Chinese food (other than Hunan Chili... see my other review) that I prefer. :-) It's clean, predictable (my review here could apply to almost any other Panda Express) and pretty good. :-) I usually have the orange chicken, broccoli beef and fried rice. I've also had their beijing beef as well but prefer my old standby I just mentioned... It's not gourmet, but you can't go wrong if you are hungry for Chinese food in a hurry, in my opinion... :-)

I got bad food poisoning from this place last week. I ordered and ate the Thai Cashew Chicken w/ Fried Rice in a Panda Bowl. Never again will I come back here. There are other more sanitary places I would rather trust my health to.

    (1)
  • John D.

Foods okay. good options for those trying to be healthier(mixed vegetables, meatless fried rice etc)

    (3)
  • John W.

I used to come here but that was back when they gave you a decent portion. I don't know maybe it was just me but I have been the second person waiting in line and I would purposely watch to see how much they would put on the plate of the person ahead of me, I'm easy if the portions were equal for all I have no problem with that. But sadly I have found that even if I ordered the same exact thing they would serve me less and not once in awhile but almost every time I went.. and here I was regular customer I came there every week smiling didn't work, being polite no good it's not like a was a stranger. I used to love the broccoli beef back when panda gave a good meat to veggie ratio... not anymore, there would hardly be any meat on the plate and they wore me out begging them for just one more piece, one more morsel of meat. One day there was a customer in front of me that ordered the "broccoli beef "and guess what she said?? Can you please put another piece of meat on the plate!! Finally I have waited eons for someone to notice for someone to notice for someone to Beg!! Just as I have... And keep the momentum going I added "they hardly ever give you any beef when you order that item! Whew I said it and I felt good saying it too, I was on her side in a manner of speaking.... "WE ARE STRONGER BEING TWO" Two people with the same complaint!! And then it happened I dunno maybe a space ship hovered over head and put the beam on the Restaurant because that's when she said and I quote "maybe it's healthier to eat it this way"! WTF.. Alone again naturally......... But even if their getting ready to close for the night they'll still give you a small portion... do they throw out the last spoonful of food or what? And if you ask for 3 soy sauce packets at checkout they look at you like you are an addict! Have you seen those little teeny weenie tiny packets sauce they have these days... they used to be bigger a few years back... you know the times are really bad when you have to downsize the condiments. With the college next door you know they're going to do what they're going to do... so you can take it or leave it, so I left it.

I love panda but not this one....too crowded from de anza students and they're food gets dry and old here, other places don't

  • Chris C.

Ok review isn't really for the food. I don't eat out much because I'm usually on a diet but I like this food (guess I'm not too experienced). Review is for the non-asian lady that scoops the food. She REALLY screws you with her scoops, I mean i've been here when the asian lady scoops it and definitely is what i've become used to at panda express in every other area. Recently (well about 2 months ago) this non-asian lady like scoops it and drops some back out then puts it in your box. It's like wtf do you take home the leftovers??? Because of that I never go to this panda express anymore. ANYWHERE else I get at least 2 meals out of this and whenever that lady is there I get one meal. BS.

I come here every once in a while for lunch when i'm on a break at school, since De Anza College is like right across the street. The food's alright, it's just the same shit you get all the time anyway, nothing's changed. I wouldn't go all the time though because damn, you'll get hella fat from the greasy food and it's pretty expensive, it's about $6 for a 2 entree. I don't know why people say the workers are not friendly, they've been super friendly to me hahaha, always paying me with compliments, i don't know why. It could also be because I suddenly became a regular (not because I want to, where else can you go to eat other than the expensive cafeteria at the school and when you have no car?) In my opinion, Panda Express has a cheap taste, I expect better with more options, maybe that's just me, or because I'm asian. I'd give this place 3.5 stars. Oh yeah, it's true, parking sucks ass, it's hard to get around.

    (3)
  • John S.

Parking sucks because you have to compete with Starbucks for parking spots. When you come to Panda Express, expect Panda Express. I get the food that looks good. Ok, I'll admit it, I come here for the Orange Flavor Chicken. If I want something else, I'll go somewhere else. The food is fresh. The rice is ok. They're usually quick about getting new food out if they've run out. You see the food being cooked. Damn, I want some orange flavored chicken now.

    (4)
  • Jeff L.

If the portions were larger I would give Panda Express 5 stars. Otherwise, the Panda never fails!

I love Panda Express !! I haven't been to one in years !! Well until a couple days ago ... haha . My friend works in the Panda Express in SF so he just kept talking about how he was craving for orange chicken so I decided to come here . The food here is good . It's not authentic of course but it is good ... no lie . It's also cheap , fast , and fills you up !! No offense , but almost all the restaurants and food in Cupertino suck !! Even I cook better food ... it's very depressing for me because I'm from SF and I love going to different restaurants and trying different foods . So what I am saying is ... Panda Express is just about one of the best places to eat at in Cupertino .

  • Gennie G.

Well I guess me and a few others have been lucky enough to have the good experience. I was on my way from home and I was thinking about cooking some dinner but realized I was way to tired and just wanted to eat, watch a movie and gain my strength back from the tiring day. I decided to stop at Panda Express and noticed it was pretty packed at 8:30PM on a Friday night but still decided to get some food since I really needed it. There were two people ahead of me and I'm not sure if I just came at a good time or what. But the food was fresh and I was only there for 10 minuets at the max. I came home to eat and it was delicious. I haven't eat this fatty food in a long time but felt like some Chinese. Just don't get their chow mein, if it looks dry and crunchy it's not done correctly and it aint fresh. I always go for the fried rice, crispy orange chicken, and pot stickers.

doode, i know i shouldn't even be coming here because its unhealthy. but i love love love their orange chicken. so good. anyways, this one has only 3 stars because the women behind the counter try to cheat you out of your portions. because i get full easily, i usually get a panda bowl: orange chicken/veggies/rice. if you get the asian lady (who is probably the owner or the owner's wife), she will fill your panda bowl 50-75% rice, 20-40% veggies, and 10% orange chicken. yes, i've been here enough times that i meticulously watch the ratio of what she gives me. i have to beg her to death just to take out at least 20% of the rice that she piled into the bowl. how about some ethics here! i don't want a mountain of rice! freaking A!!!! obviously, i KNOW that it is her motive to fill up most orders with a bunch of rice (which is cheaper) and give lessof meats and veggies (which will take away from her profit i suppose). oh, and of course, she's not that nice. my last visit (about a month ago) was the last straw. during my last visit, there was a homeless person there asking for money. this isn't not "harmless" homeless person, he decided to yell out obscenities across the parking lot in relation to my ass. i don't care if you're homeless or the president of the united states, i'm not going to tolerate being disrespected. some people may think of this to be an isolated incident, but from my experience when living in SF, those homeless people usually vent around and then plant themselves forever in the same area until i don't know, they get arrested or something. so, chances are, you are going to run into the homeless man there. next time, i'm just going to conveniently bring a baseball bat. you know, the latest fashion accessory.

Uck!!!! I hate the food here, it gives me tummy aches and I get sick of the food right away. I only go here because my gf loves it and it is close. I usually just eat the eggplant, chowmein and orange chicken, sometimes kung pao chicken. At least they are omnipresent and convenient.

  • Jason D.

This is the only Panda I'll eat at. The food is always fresh, the place is very clean and the staff are quick. My wife and I always get three items to go with a soda. That's plenty of food for two people and it costs less than $10. If you keep the receipt and fill out the online survey (it takes a couple minutes), you get a code that will get you a free entree next time. The food is, well..., Americanized Chinese fast food. If that's what you're looking for, it's great. If you're like me you're really only in it for the orange chicken and you'll leave happy. The other chicken dishes are decent, as are the vegetarian options, and I don't eat the beef. This isn't gourmet food, but it hit the spot from time to time. As others have noted, the parking here is terrible. I'm generally able to find a spot with out too much trouble, but it can be a real pain. Luckily, the customers for the next-door Starbucks are generally in and out quickly.

Orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp are my favorite. You have to pay an extra buck for the shrimp though.

  • Coral S.

I used to come here all the time. I'd always get the 2 plate combo with half white rice, half chow mien, eggplant tofu, and 2 springs roles. Those were the days. I never changed my order, always the same. Although we all know Panda Express is not the most authentic Chinese food it is consistently good food. That is, until it started making me sick. I don't know what happened. I never changed my order. And yet, they last three times that I've eaten here I've gotten sick! I don't understand it and I wish it weren't so but I had to retire Panda Express from my dining options. For those of you with hearty stomachs, go here on my behalf; it's delicious.

    (3)
  • Mike M.

Consistent and it even tastes better than some Chinese restaurants next to my apartment..... I still come back here often for the low cal veggies and mushroom chicken

    (3)
  • Daron M.

great food as always, but there is never anywhere to park! If you dont find a place, you cant back up, you have to go out, make a u-turn, wait for the light, make another u-turn and hope you find one.

    (2)
  • Eric M.

I eat at Panda at least once a week. The black pepper chicken is outstanding and kung pao chicken is perfectly spiced. Pound for pound Panda is a great deal for $5 and much tastier than some of the more expensive Chinese food restaurants who don't give you free taste samples. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating if you choose to eat at the restaurant, and provides a moderately quiet atmosphere allowing for undisturbed conversation. A good tip for getting a large serving of food is to ask for your meal to-go because the to-go containers provide more usable volume than is available on the eat-in plates.

The best Chinese fast food place in the U.S. in my opinion! The Orange Chicken is #1!!! Recommendation: Orange Chicken

Tasty. But overpriced, and they skimp on the entrees. Reduce price or increase proportions for a better rating.

Pros: Courteous staff. Tasty fast food. orange chicken, king pao, pepper chicken are the best. Cons: Of late, the quantity has started diminishing Parking can be tough, especially in summer time. Definitely recommend this place.

I stopped by here for a quick bite to eat and it's your typical Panda Express. Since it was lunchtime, the food was fresh and the line moved fairly fast. I wouldn't say the people working there were super friendly but they were nice enough. The only thing may be parking, it's a very small lot.

absolutely the best Chinese fast food you can get. I've never had a problem with this joint. Eating at Panda is always a treat. Just remember it's FAST FOOD. It isn't Tommy Toy's or Yank Sing. Coincidently, it's probably the only Chinese food I eat outside of those two.

  • N N.

This is an awesome place to eat! We love the food, price and service. We go there often, it's a good place to get some fast food to fill you up but not to overfill. Even when they're busy they have pretty fast service. The only thing we don't really like about them is that they charge like $1 extra for the firecracker shrimp. It should be included in your meal of whatever you order. Last time we went we used a coupon for a free third entree. We were still going to be charged $1 extra for the shrimp. It's not really a good idea to go there shortly before they close. We did that a few times and they have little food left on the bar and it's not as good quality. Much better to go at least an hour before close. Parking isn't too fun there. Very small lot that they share with starbucks. When it's nice and warm out and we're in the mood, we bike there. But we find a spot there everytime we drive. Sometimes you have to be patient and wait til someone leaves. On the coupons, they should note that the shrimp won't be free, but pick anything else. Besides that, we're always satisfied with Panda. Really really good place to eat.

I do not understand why but most people (chinese or not) tend to think Panda Express is the worst place to eat Chinese food at. I lived in asia for 16 years of my life before I moved here and I was really surprised by the overall quality Panda Express provides (not sure about other states though). First of all, Panda Express restaurants have very clean and cute interior design. (I've only been to the one on Stevens Creek and Milpitas Blvd). They're just not like any other chinese restaurants. Everything is clean and neat and you don't have to worry about finding flies in your chili sauce jar anymore because they have individual packets of chili sauce (Lee Kam Kee) and soya sauce (not sure what this is cuz I don't ask for it). Then if you look at the kitchen area, they're absolutely clean and neat too. They have all clear plastic containers inside the huge fridges that're stuffed with fresh clean vegetables. I also have to say that they have excellent services. I don't know how they do that but again, it's not like any other Chinese restaurants out there who have shitty service and angry employees. My favorite dish that I order everytime now is Garlic Tofu & Eggplant, and Orange Chicken. The tofu has this really fresh taste, and it makes me wonder if they just fried them before making them inot this dish. Compared to Chinese dishes that I would cook/eat everyday, these dishes might be a little strong on the taste and seasonings, but there's nothing wrong with them as long as you don't eat them everyday! And for people who have no idea what authentic Chinese dishes really are, there are certain authentic chinese dishes that taste similar to these like the famous sweet and sour pork with pineapples, and the general chicken. I think overall, Panda Express is doing a really good job in providing cheap, clean, good quality Chinese convenient meals. I do always ask for to go box even I'm eating in becuase to go boxes tend to hold more food than the eat-in plate. However, I realized thes staff stopped stuffing too much food in the togo box these days so it might not make such a big difference anymore. I haven't been back to the Stevens Creek one lately, but for the times I were there, I remember they had really authentic chow mein. It reminds me of the exact thing I had back in Hong Kong. Very thin and a little chewy egg noodles stir-fried to its perfection (with a little charboiled taste) with lots of bean sprouts in it. They also have all kinds of bottled drinks to go with the meals and complimentary disposable chopsticks in attractive colored paper holders. For the price, I really think this is a solid place to go.

I always love this Branch. Staffs were nice and kind. Food was well executed. I always come to eat here twice a week and i really enjoyed the food very well. My old time favortie was the honey walnut shrimp and ribs. Those were perfectly dancing on my palet. Lovin it so much.

Fast service with below average tasting food at a reasonable price. It's been about seven years since my last Panda Express experience, so I wasn't sure what to expect at this location. The employees were all working very fast, so that's a plus. However, the fast pace at which the workers were moving left little room for decent customer service. I ordered a combination dish that included a tofu and eggplant dish, a chicken and mushrooms dish, and steamed white rice. The entire meal wasn't the worst Chinese-American fast-food I've ever had, but it was certainly a disappointment and made me regret eating it. While the rice was steamed, it was still clumped together like it was sitting around for awhile out in the open. The tofu dish lacked flavor. The chicken and mushrooms dish was okay, but I would've liked fluffy white rice to eat it with. I don't see myself ever going back to this Panda Express location, but I am willing to try food from a different location.

I ordered online to get my free ala carte item (walnut shrimp)! Noline is the promo code. It's actually pretty convenient! You order and pick a time which works for you and they'll have it ready. Pay online so no need to wait. The food is typical Chinese American however panda has sanitary/cleanliness guidelines that most Asian places (cockroach at Dynasty) don't give a rat's ass about, and they are friendly, which is more then I can say for the countless rude waiters/waitresses I've encountered eating at Chinese restaurants. That's almost a given. This location gives you more than the stingy svale location and the steam veg is crispy, not soggy. Another plus. You can always count on panda for consistency in fast, tasty, Chinese/American food that doesn't put you in a msg laced coma

I've been to this Panda Express several times and recently went there again after having been rudely treated at the closer El Paseo location. I've noticed the food here is not kept at quite as hot a temperature as other Panda Expresses. But I assumed I wouldn't be poisoned. We ordered our dishes and were eating when my companion stopped me in mid-bite. The sun had glinted on my dish, and what should he spot but a short, slightly curled black hair. My stomach churned. I have to say they were very polite when I asked for a refund. I didn't want a replacement, as I suspected the whole dish might have been contaminated at the temperature they keep the food. I also noticed they kept serving others from that tray without replacing it with a new batch. The cook was nearly bald, and the hair didn't seem to have come from the employee who waited on us. It certainly wasn't mine, as mine is blonde. On the way out, an employee walked in from outside with black, slightly curling hair all around her neckline. We laughed--suspect numero uno.

Sometime in the last 6 months, the management policy at the Cupertino Panda Express changed with regard to "closing time". The posted hours are until 10PM every night, but they basically stop cooking food before 8:45 so it will be extremely hit or miss as to whether they can out a meal together for you. I came in tonight (Monday) at 8:50PM and half the steam tray was already empty. I could understand this if there weren't customers, but there were at least 6 people in front of me. This is the second time this happened to me. I'm not planning to return. If they want to close at 9:00 that badly, they should change their hours! They used to be really good here in the last hour. During the rest of the day, it's a regular Panda Express, no better or worse.

"Panda Express is fake Chinese food!" Sure, it's not really Chinese, but it tastes good. Panda gets the stamp of approval from this Chinese girl and all her other Chinese friends. That's all that matters. Be it their chow-mien, eggplant tofu, orange chicken, whatever it is that you get, I bet you it tastes great. I honestly think they make the best eggplant tofu and beef broccoli - even better than those you get from non-fast food restaurants. I'd love to get their recipe.

Decent fast food. The chow mien is okay but I like their steamed veggies and tofu with eggplant dish. Like that the place is always clean.

Well the Panda spell over me is broken....the food really is pretty oily and don't feel great after eating it. The recent change to brown rice is nice though. Haven't eaten here for a while now. I guess it's just like McDonald's and Wendy's, use to eat there often nd just stopped after a while when I woke up and realized it wasn't as good as I thought it was.

Today, my sister and I got a to-go box with chowmein, orange chicken, grilled teriyaki chicken, and honey walnut shrimp. The chowmein, like always, was pretty good along with the other sides we had ordered. Every time I visit this location, I'm never disappointed with the quality of the food nor the taste. Although some people claim panda express to be fake Chinese food or even Americanized Chinese food, in the end, Panda Express is undeniably good. If you are new to Panda Express, I highly recommend getting the Orange Chicken with the Grilled Teriyaki Chicken, I'm sure you won't be disappointed either! In terms of customer service, I feel as though it was decent since I've never really experienced a problem with the employees before. The employees, for the most part, are nice/friendly and reasonably quick. However, whenever I go to this location, I always seem to encounter a problem with PARKING. Parking is limited in this plaza and considering how small the plaza is (and sharing the lot with Ike's sandwiches), it just makes it less convenient when you are trying to get a meal during the popular hours of lunch/dinner. Overall, I gave the Cupertino Panda Express four stars since while it is good, it could be so much better. Today, I actually found a hair in my chowmein but I will give the employees the benefit of the doubt since this was the first time this has ever happened to me. In the end I recommend Panda Express to anyone who wants good and reasonably cheap Chinese food.

The prices are what they are so I won't complain about that but since we are paying close to $8 for a plate, please fill my plate all the way. Super shady on the portions and the food is not that good. It's quite frustrating that so many people are willing to pay these prices. You'll typically find panda in a location where there are no other Asian restaurants around so you're forced to go there if your in the mood for Chinese food. They really abuse this fact with prices and the small portions

Panda Express is one of those fast food spots that are good to go every now and then. I think I average about once a year, but for the price, you get a lot of food for cheap. This location is closest to our home, and it's great that you don't have to go to the food courts at the mall anymore to dine here. I came here last night to pick up some quick dinner, and the location here sucks at times because of the limited parking and the pain of getting out. I walk in, and it's dead as I came super early, and I make eye contact with the worker hiding behind the wall talking with someone. Wait. Wait some more. Finally, minutes later, she comes out. Was annoyed, but got my chow mein, string bean chicken, and beijing beef. A bit high in the calorie intake, but I can split a 2 entree into 2 meals, so I don't feel as guilty. Love their chow mein, and their string bean chicken is really good too. It feels somewhat fresh for fast food Chinese, and you can't beat the price.

I'm not even going to attempt to call Panda Express Chinese food, but for tasty, greasy fast food, it works for us. The service is fast, even though not overly friendly; facilities are relatively clean; food is freshly prepared; and the portions are generous. With two tween boys, that's 4 stars for us and a nice change from burgers and fries!

Came in after class, hungry might I add! Yolanda helped us and she was great! Quick, efficient and friendly. After assisting us Genesis took over not only was she quick, she was friendly and helped us with a smile. She was very kind. Customer service was definitely a winning point at this location. It's a very important quality in the restaurant business. She definitely got an A+. Not only was the quality of food impressive for this chain, the obvious cleanliness and attention to food safety is impeccable. I took note of the different cleaning buckets located in different locations of the kitchen following serv safe requirements. They obviously follow protocol. Which to me is the most important quality of this franchise. Definitely impressed, I live in Santa Clara which is at a substantial distance and would unquestionably make the extra mile trip here. Coleman Panda Express you have some work to do! This franchise Definitely takes the creme of the crop.

The service was okay but pretty slow. The food tasted worse than any other Panda Express i've ever been to. I know panda is what they call 'Fake Chinese food' but in some restaurants it's actual quite decent. This food tasted rushed and over seasoned.

I really enjoy the place here, food is pretty good for americanized-chinese food. The only thing I have issue with is the loooooong lines and limited parking.

An ok place if you want to eat greasy, fatty, and salty Chinese food. Step right up and order to your heart's delight. Otherwise opt for the vegetable dishes with chicken or beef. Your heart will thank you. You don't want to run for miles don't you?

I've seen a few Panda Express in the east coast sprinkled here and there but have never had the urge to eat there. After all, I live in NYC where good Chinese food isn't too hard to come by so why have the fast food version right? Working in the area for a few weeks, I discovered that in the home state where this franchised is based out of, this fast food Chinese joint is more common than pimples on a teenager going through puberty. It was inevitable that I would get dragged here sooner or later and today was that day. As expected of most fast food places, getting the food was quick and efficient. All the food was precooked and laid out in steam tables to be selected. Point, choose, pay, and you're done. Although I wasn't blown away by what I had, it wasn't as bad as what I feared it might be. No worst than most Americanized Chinese places and better than some even which is why I am giving it 3 stars instead of two. Of course I prefer authentic Chinese but I could see how some people might like these. The Kobari Beef and the Kung Poa Chicken is recommendable. I have to say though, I think this company might be able to keep a few cooking oil companies in business just by itself. The food is greasy like hell and is just swimming in oil. I could almost imagine my arteries sobbing with each bite.

I come to this store often. The food is ok. But unlike other Panda Express, the size of each serving here is quite small. Essentially the customer is overcharged.

Why this place is annoying: 1) They locked one of their doors even though it wasn't even closing time yet. 2) I was second in line and the place was practically empty and yet it took more than 10 minutes for somebody to take my order. 3) The chow mein (which is the sole thing that I ordered since I wasn't too hungry) tasted as though it had been sitting under the lamp all day long. 4) The parking lot is very small. I did come at night, but I could imagine this parking lot being a battlefield during the day. 5) Some of their staff had already started washing and mopping the floors even though it was barely an hour until closing time and while people were still ordering food. Why this place isn't annoying: 1) Their single entree a la carte portions are huge and for $2.17 you definitely get your money's worth. 2) You get a free fortune cookie with your order. Overall, you'd be better off going to a non-chain Chinese food place. 2 stars

With this location located right next to De Anza it isn't surprising that the quality of food isn't that great- but then again it's JUST Panda Express. To me this place is a grab your food and get the hell out of there type of deal. I came in famished looking for Orange Chicken because: 1) The Orange Chicken at De Anza is ridiculously sour and overpriced 2) I've been craving Orange Chicken for months I hopped into the never ending line that stopped right by the entrance door and when I got to order I decided on the Panda Bowl with Chow Mein and Orange Chicken. The workers were fast and got my food in the bowl quick. Paying for my food was a whole different story, I had a women who was speaking quite loud who then took my money and literally shoved my food at me. See what I mean by grabbing your food and getting the hell out of there? P.S. With the high traffic of students it seems like a lot of customers tend to wait for items that have run out, but insist on waiting for them to be cooked. Heads up!

The Beijing Beef is a delicious entree. It is sweet and flavorful and appeals wonderfully to my taste buds. I rarely eat at Panda, but it's always a nice treat, because it isn't healthy. I also love the pot stickers. However, this location seems to be out of them whenever I want them :( . The workers tell me only a few minutes to get them cooked up, but 15 minutes later, I'm still waiting for them... This kind of service isn't acceptable in my book. The two stars are just for the Beijing Beef and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant (both pretty good). I think I'll try out a different Panda next time I'm craving it.

Meh. I've had better but I'm gonna give it 3 stars anyways, Because sometimes you NEED greasy chinese fast food, And for that reason I'm glad Panda Express exists.

Well, I hate fast food, and I hate chains. But Panda Express is surprisingly an option that I don't mind at all. And don't make any mistake about it; even though it markets itself as Chinese food, the calorie counts are as high as any other fast food establishment. Consider that if you buy a two-entree plate, and chose a side of chow mein (490 calories) and entrees of their signature orange chicken (420 calories) and Beijing beef (690 calories), you'll end up with a 1600-calorie meal, you'd end up with far more calories than a Big Mac and fries (which clocks in at only 956 calories, 576 for the Big Mac and 380 for the fries). Aside from the fact that this is fast food in disguise, the dishes aren't bad. They aren't great (they sit under heat lamps, so that has a certain effect), but they aren't bad. A few dishes that I've had at Panda Express: - The orange chicken is one of their most popular items. It has a sweet flavor to it which is complemented by a mild spiciness. Pretty good overall! - The sweetfire chicken is decent, but not great. It has a surprising amount of vegetables for an Americanized Chinese dish! - The string bean chicken is a good option if you're watching the calories. It doesn't have the flavor of the orange chicken, but it has a good enough flavor for a low-calorie item. - The black pepper chicken is another good option for the calories. Personally, I prefer the string bean chicken, but this one also has a good (not great) flavor to it. - The Beijing beef, honestly, is just a bit too much for me. It has a very rich, sweet and tangy flavor to it, and I can see how some might like it, but personally, I do not. - Their hot and sour soup is just okay. It doesn't have enough spices to it to bring out the "hot" side of the dish. - Both their spring rolls and their egg rolls are just okay. Not much flavor to them. - Same deal with the pot stickers. Nothing really brings out the flavor of the meat in their potstickers. - I like the cream cheese rangoons. They have a wonderful mild cheesy flavor to them. - As for sides, go with the chow mein. White rice is white rice, which is to say boring. Their fried rice isn't very good. Go with the chow mein. One last tip before I sign off: I discovered recently that you can order a single entree, for only $3 or so. Then, you can avoid all the calories from their side dishes, and frankly, the side dishes are the low point of the meal anyway. Get your favorite entree and then pair it with your own sides from home!

Hey, i'm not ashamed to admit I like to eat Panda every now and then. While I really love the orange chicken it causes digestion problems. I prefer the string bean chicken and beef with broccoli. Fast, easy, affordable.

It's Panda Express... Shitty Americanized "Chinese" food at its finest. Welp in my opinion at least.

This Panda Express is ridiculous slow and inefficient. The employee at the cash register is fumbling around trying to put things in the bag and take forever to ring up each person. The person who takes the order and scoops the food is skimpy and shorts you food. I looked online at their nutrition information for firecracker chicken. I was supposed to get 6.1 oz in a serving. When I got home and weighted it, it was only 4.25 oz and the box was only barely half full(and that includes the weight of the box so they gave me even less). If you want faster better service and a better portion of food go to the Panda Express in Sunnyvale. Avoid the Cupertino Panda Express.

Its fast-food so I don't expect too much but, the prices are too high for the amount of food and the service is slow. Also, the staff here is always rude. Very rude. I only go here when a friend demands Panda Express. Meh.

Since I've been here too many times due to the convenience (it's right across the street from my school), I thought I'd feel a bit bad if I didn't write a review about this place. The staffs are really friendly. There was one time that I hesitated to get one more entree which was chicken postickers, since I thought it'd just ended up being a waste if I happened not to like it, then the lady there actually told me that since there wasn't much left, she'd just let me have all of it for FREE. Great! Fortunately, those postickers turned out to be edible, but that's the best I can say about them. Their fried rice is bland most of the times, I always have to add some soy sauce and hot sauce in order to make it a little bit more flavorful. I tried their orange chicken once because I read several of good reviews of it, and I tell ya what... it was really gross!! It was so bad that I thought I was biting on a huge piece of sugar crystal, how could people actually like that? Sighs! One thing I want to add before I submit the review. Their fortune cookies are great, I like them... but the little fortune pieces of paper don't always come out right. Here is why: + "You're going to meet the love of your life." - Thanks, but I already met one before you told me so. + "You're a dreamer with a vivid imagination." - I agree, but that's not what we call fortune, is it? In addition, I used their lucky numbers to buy lottery a lot of times, and I ended up never winning. :[ Bottom line: I'll still keep coming back!

This particular Panda Express is continually, well, an enigma. 1) All orders are prepared to-go. Like, in a bag. Im still confused by this. What if I don't want to go? 2) People hang around this place like its a coffee shop (insert random 40-something men playing "Magic" -- yeah, that card game from 1998 -- on the back end of the restaurant.) 3) The staff tends to not do well with requests like "Can I have soy sauce?" In fact, they often garner the response of "you want egg roll." (Note the lack of question mark... its more often stated, not asked). 4) The Panda Express fortune cookies are seldom fortunes... saying something like "You are nice person" isn't a fortune/prediction/psychicnotification -- its an observation. 5) They have orange chicken. 6) Orange chicken is amazing. 7) Orange chicken makes me feel amazing. 8) Orange chicken makes up for the the enigmatic. 9) Orange chicken. Love. 10) ...aaaaaaand now Im in a positive enough mood to call 1-4 entertainment value. Fake Chinese Food? No, its delicious fake chinese food. And maybe even a show.

I have no problem with imitation Asian food, and when it comes to that type of food, Panda Express is in the top tier. This location delivers the goods, is clean, and also efficient - what more could you ask for? I know people always rave about the orange chicken, but I actually don't order that when I go there. In an attempt to "eat healthy," I generally order the sweet fire chicken breast and either 1) the black pepper chicken or 2) the string bean chicken. (Yes, it's still a good 800+ calories and the sodium might be a little on the high side.... but everything in moderation, right?) It's for these reasons (not to mention convenience) that I probably venture here more often than I should.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
