Just tried this place... not bad. Good cuts of fish and the quality seemed pretty fresh. The chef appeared to have a good relationship with those dining at the bar and the restaurant was pretty clean. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is cause the uni portion was a little on the skinny side (not as others pictured), the scallop wasn't actually a piece of scallop... but the little pieces you'd find at an AYCE kinda spot and they are still using the plates from when the place was Niko Niko, years ago.

Just had lunch here. Wow. First off the only Sushi place around that is open at 11 which is great cause my lunch is from 11-12. Service Amazing sat right down greeted immediately. Food wow each one of us got a different roll and let me tell you they were each amazing. I will definitely be coming back here and recommending to friends and co workers. Great job Taishow

One of the best! Chef Steve is friendly fast and an artist. I've had sushi all over the world. Food here is fresh, well made, authentic and Steve will remember what you ordered. The servers are very attentive They also offer American Japanese fare as well (chicken teriyaki, etc) but stick with the real stuff :-)
(5)April W.
Surprisingly fresh, especially for the inland empire. We really enjoyed the yellowfin, salmon and eel sashimi. The spicy tuna hand rolls were yummy too with very fresh crisp asparagus and cucumber.
(4)Jo F.
First time here, really enjoyed it! Ordered off their Happy hour, seaweed salad, baked mussels, garlic albacore, garlic edamame. And two for one beers.

Steve and the sushi is fantastic. I have been a few times and sushi is great the prices are fair. Now tonight was a little bit different. So we go in 3 adults and a child and order some stuff. Come to find out I marked the wrong box on the order form on a certain roll . At the point when we got the roll is when I realized it wasn't what I wanted. The lady "Grace" I'm assuming is the owner or manager not to sure , said sorry we can't take it back. I was a little surprised to say the least. I said in a calm voice, i made an honest mistake. She wouldn't even listen to me . Snubbed her nose and said sorry again you ordered it. I said really? You're Kidding right? No she wasn't kidding. So I said ok no problem can you bring me the roll I wanted and they did. Btw we are talking about 15.95 for the mistake at retail of which I spend close to a hundred every time I go in there. I have never in my 48 years on the planet earth been treated this way at a restaurant. It wasn't the money, it was pure principle and lack of customer service. I don't know if I'll ever go back. I'm not telling people not to go there either. If you do, be sure you order correctly because customer satisfaction is pretty much non existent with "Grace". Sorry Steve.
(3)Daniel R.
Short and Sweet: Great Sushi, big portions, fresh and adorned for extra excitement. I should have taken pictures of the presentation, as it was truly artistic. Everything exceeded expectations, price was fair and I will be back...a lot
(5)Tony B.
Amazing Food. Amazing Service. In fact, best service...... I have ever experienced...... at any restaurant...ever.
(5)Rick B.
The last thing I ever expected to find in Corona was top-notch sushi but here it is. As everyone else says, Steve is great, fun to chat with, and very accommodating. If you're in the area, go. You will not be disappointed. Just don't order the gimmicky stuff (like tempura cheesecake) that he only put on the menu to satisfy the masses. You're better than that.
(5)Jes L.
I am rather a sushi fanatic, and have tried more than a handful of the sushi restaurants in the inland empire. That being said, this place is hands down my favorite spot. The sushi is beyond delicious, and the service is great too. When I'm not in the mood for all you can eat, this is the first place I go-and I go fairly often. Whether you're new to sushi, or already a fan, you have to try this place out. It's simply amazing.
(5)W L.
First time and we know we are going be Regulars! Steve the owner is a classic warrior sushi chef with over 30 years of experience and many sushi business stories to share. Great food. Fast and tasty. Dragon, Corona and Tender rolls are great. Poke salad was the bomb.
(5)Lori J.
Awesome! Great food and nice staff super fast..
(3)Daniel B.
You need to have pure and real fresh and only sushi bar. To really know its texture and flavor.
(3)Kerry O.
Had the poki salad with brown rice and could not finish it. Drenched with spicy hot sauce and sticky with some kind of god-awful vinaigrette. Just a small bowl but left half of it. Reminded me when I was 5 and used to spread my food around, spit some of it in my cup just to make it seem like I ate most of it. Last time I come here. Its a competitive market and I come to corona often.
(1)Sh F.
Went here for the first time because the place I usually go is closed for a while and im sooo glad I ended up coming. I went in and it was happy hour and their prices are GREAT and the sushi was spot on. I will definitely be going back and telling people I know about this place as well!
(5)Amanda W.
Delicious!!! I'm pretty picky about Sushi places. Came here with my family we ordered a variety of stuff I tried it all everything we ordered was great! We will most definitely be back!
(5)Robert T.
Took the family, 3 hungry boys, out for dinner. The kids shared a dinner box of Beef Teriyaki. It came with a salad, Gyoza, 4-piece Cali roll and rice. It was a good size portion of meet and rice. The also split a Cali Roll and each had miso soup. 20 min later, all gone! These boys loved it. The wife and myself shared 4 rolls. The Spanish Roll was fantastic. Oh ya, also had 3 pc sushi. Once again everything was good. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Look forward to coming again.
(4)Al M.
Steve Nogi kicks serious sushi butt ... The food was great and as always Steve keeps you entertained with funny stories and top notch recommendations. He offered the garlic edamame which was a fantastic pairing with a tall Kirin and sake. Would highly recommend for serious sushi buffs!!!
(5)R. F.
Ahhhh yes.... The real customary way to serve and eat sushi. Let Steve just make you something..... He's a great creator! Quality is where it's at here.
(5)Ernesto M.
Came in with the wife and right away recognized the chef... he worked at another place we loved before it was sold and remeber when he left to open his own place, just never knew where it was at, I think we found our new spot! Fresh fish and good portions. Great happy hour specials and awesome fried banna with green tea ice cream. The Rainbow roll was delicious and by far the best Salmon skin hand roll my wife and I have ever had. We will be back for sure..... see you tomorrow!
(5)Michael B.
This place is awesome. The albacore slices are bigger then any Gold fish I ever owned!! So good. And I can say enough about the Green Mussel the best I have ever had!
(5)Cyn K.
Had the pink lady roll, spicy salmon had no flavor, roll was loose and cut too wide. Fish was fresh though.
(3)Yogev I.
The best sushi in corona just go and enjoy nice sushi and good times talking to Steve (owner) the chief
(5)Peter P.
Very good, high quality sushi! A bit too pricey though considering there are several places nearby that offer all you can eat for around $20. Still, Taishow is the best tasting in the area so what it really comes down to is a decision between quality or quantity. Favorite things to order are the Baked Green Mussels, Crunchy Scallop Roll and anything with unagi (fresh water eel). Chef Steve is the man! Sit at the bar for some good, friendly conversation. If you are lucky, he'll give you an orange for desert and you can see the beauty of his knife skills.
(4)Tara T.
I've left a review before- but I can't stop raving about Steve! He is the absolute best sushi chef and a wonderful human being. I have followed him wherever he has previously worked for the last 13 years. He is educated on quality- and you can taste it! He is friendly, creative, and makes a beautiful presentation along with fresh and flavorful food. The atmosphere is clean and cozy- a great date spot! It is also a place that you feel comfortable staying late and talking to Steve- he makes you feel like family.
(5)Dustin F.
The best sushi bar / restaurant in Corona, and in my opinion one of the best I've ever visited. The friendliest service of any sushi bar. Steve and his family (this is a "mom and pop" sushi bar) create an extremely warm and inviting atmosphere. The fish is always well prepared, fresh, and beautifully presented. The little touches go a long way, such as plating the sushi with thin lemon slices and parsley or other greens in between each piece. Do we eat those garnishes? Of course not, but it create a beautiful display that really enhances my other senses (in other words Steve does not just give you some fish and rice slapped together on a plate). If you ask Steve (the sushi chef aka "Pa"), "What's good today?" He will honestly tell you. If he received a piece of fish from his supplier that's not up to his standards, he will tell you before he makes the order for you. I can't say that I've experienced this anywhere else. I don't eat meat other than fish, but my friends and family that have had the Korean BBQ (prepared by Steve's wife Grace, aka "Ma") tell me it is excellent. Once you've visited a few times and the staff recognizes your face they will treat you like family. Steve remember's exactly how I like my sushi and rolls prepared, even when I sometimes go 2-4 weeks between visits. *Note: I previously had posted a lower-rating review mistakenly that was intended for a different Sushi bar in Corona a few years back. That review was absolutely no reflection of my experiences at Taishow Sushi, and it did not influence my decision to rate this review at 5-Stars. In my opinion Taishow Sushi is possibly the only 5-Star sushi bar I've ever eaten at (all things considered), and among one of the only friendly, unique, 5-star businesses in Corona.
(5)K J.
Ate here for the first time. People were nice, everyone seemed like regulars. Steve is friendly and welcoming. We had the burrito roll, scallop roll and some albacore sashimi. It was all very good. I will eat here again, it is a restaurant that I feel is a go to place where you can be comfortable and know you'll have a nice friendly meal.
(5)Stacie A.
Autumn Roll and TNT were awesome! Quick service. Clean. Friendly. Would definitely come back.
(5)Fabrizio G.
Love coming to Steve's during lunch or after work. Great food, great service. I've been to quite a few sushi places that take forever just bringing out a roll that turns out to be less than satisfactory. This place provides a warm friendly atmosphere and Steve is just an overall great guy. Can't beat the 2 for 1 Hite beers and Spicy Tuna hand rolls .
(5)Cari T.
hmm. I don't get the hype. My co-worker and I were craving sushi and when we went to Asahi on Monday we realized it's not open so we had to quickly find another place in the area on yelp. This place came up with good reviews so we decided to try our luck. We were pretty disappointed. I would consider myself pretty knowledgeable in sushi and is pretty good at judging good sushi from bad sushi. I'm really surprised by how unimpressive I was by this place. Our server was nice, but not particularly helpful. She kept pushing the lunch menu to my co-worker even though my co-worker was really not interested and wanted to ask her more questions about other available options. We tried some sushi, some rolls, miso soup, and a salad. Everything was not great. The sushi rice lacked any flavor and wasn't cooked to the right texture. The rolls were large in size and so were the sushi, but they didn't taste good. I think for people that haven't tasted good sushi in the past, they might think they're getting a good deal because you're getting such large pieces of sushi but honestly what's the point of having a lot of something that isn't all that great? Now I know you might say, you were going to asahi, and that's not all that awesome of a sushi place either. I must agree, asahi is just another standard korean owned sushi restaurant. But Asahi has the all you can eat deal, and their rolls at least taste flavorful and their rice is cooked decently well. This place ended up costing us just as much as an all you can eat price, but we didn't even like the food we ordered. The food wasn't bad at least. The fish were fresh and didn't have any bad taste to it. But why settle to just put raw pieces of fish in your mouth with some cooked rice? Go for sushi places that can actually wow you, and make "sushi" the way they're suppose to be: delicate, flavorful, and melt in your mouth yumminess.
(3)Tom B.
Wow, a fantastic sushi bar between the border and the SFV. Steve is so nice, even when full you do not want to leave! See you soon!
(5)Christine B.
Fresh sushi! Delicious food, and great service. Everything on the menu is good. Order the garlic edamame to start and you won't be disappointed. This is by far the best sushi in town!
(5)Peter V.
Place is amazing all you can eat staff is super friendly, fish was very fresh. Can't wait to come back!
(5)Troy D.
Steve is the best, my favorite Sushi place hands down,,. Always fresh and great fish. Proportions are large. Steve is very entertaining. Really fun friendly customers, plan on making new friends when you sit at the Sushi bar..
(5)Brooke G.
Place was fun, service was more like you had to ask them rather than vice versa...the roll I got was great, the garlic edamame was oily...too oily for me but I love to wear leggings so I must keep this ass tight. All of the sashimi cuts were huge and the quality was definitely there (hence four stars)...and they sell soju by the carafe with fresh fruit and cucumbers. Forgettable? Yes....would I go back though?...Yes.
(4)Jared O.
The sushi chief Steve is the man he has never let me down. He is funny as hell will crack a joke with you and if you can't think of what you want next he can read your mind and serve it to you. The sushi is bombski
(5)Colin S.
Very nice staff. I got sushi to go so it wasn't the best way to eat it, but overall it was great!
(4)K M.
Absolutely phenomenal food!!!! Spectacular sushi, delicious flavors, very fresh. Crunch roll, hungry roll & lobster rolls blew my mind!!!! After tax & tip it came out to only $20/person. Such a deal for such great food!!!!! Absolutely phenomenal food!!!! Spectacular sushi, delicious flavors, very fresh. Crunch roll, hungry roll & lobster rolls blew my mind!!!! After tax & tip it came out to only $20/person. Such a deal for such great food!!!!!
(5)Shari B.
Steve is awesome. Been following him since 1990. Food and service are great here. Don't understand why some people on these reviews are complaining about. Fish is always fresh and service is always good.
(5)David D.
Small place but good food and nice family owed business. The owner and sushi chef has been an icon here in Corona as he has worked for many other sushi bars but now has his own
(4)Douglas W.
Steve and the staff were very nice, and the food was okay. But the happy hour wasnt anything mind blowing, the fish wasn't all that fresh, and the flavors were just okay. Roll creativity was at a minimum. It's not bad. But it's not 4.5 stars. I wouldn't go out of my way to go here again, but I wouldn't be upset about eating here again if someone insisted. It's just .... okay.
(3)E. P.
My fiancé and I have been searching for a good sushi place in Corona, and are so happy that we finally found this place! The fish was so fresh, and sauces were delicious. Try the baked mussels and the snow cone roll, they are fantastic!
(5)Siouxsie R.
Taishow Sushi is yet another very good sushi restaurant/bar in Corona. Taishow has sushi happy hour form 5-7PM.Prices are very reasonable. It has a family friendly atmosphere. Great service and excellent food! The selection of rolls is amazing. It is very clean !!!! It has become one of our favorite Sushi restaurants in town (We are luck to have a few good ones in Corona!)
(4)B R.
Best sushi in all of corona!!!! Family owned and ran support your local small business!! Come see Steve and grace they will make you feel like your right at home!!!! This is the place you wanna be
(5)Wendy B.
This restaurant being fairly new to Corona, we were intrigued that this opening had escaped our notice. Seeing the many 5 star Yelp reviews challenged us to give it a try. We came in after 5 pm and were surprised to see Happy Hour specials (good 5-7 pm). The items featured on the HH menu are about $2 less than normal menu prices: Gyoza (5 pcs), ok. I have had better filling, but this one was still good. The dipping sauce, delicious. Tuna roll, ok. Fresh. Simple presentation, not that that is bad. Lobster roll. Fried lobster bites on a tuna roll, with a sauce. Good. Baked mussels. Overcooked, but would have been nice, as they were on a bed of crab with a nice sauce. Then, there were three "chef specialty" rolls whose names elude me. They included one combination that featured combinations of lobster, crab and avocado. A second with tempura shrimp, crab, avocado and eel. And finally a California roll topped with scallops. These rolls were pretty good. The sauces were mostly unremarkable. Udon with tempura shrimp. Good, although the two tempura shrimp were small, and overcooked. Overcooking also seemed to be a problem with the roll with the tempura shrimp. The exception, the scallops on the one roll were small but lightly crisp and tender. I liked that the rolls were not overly covered in rice. I liked the Happy Hour concept. I liked variety and freshness of what we had. I liked the speed of the chef in making his creations. There was very little wait. Prices were standard. The bill for Udon, 5 different rolls, two appetizers, and one tempura green tea ice cream, $78 with tax. All in all, Ricky's Sushi, just a mile away, is still our first choice for quality, freshness, artistry, and all around satisfaction. Sushi Asahi , also in Corona, with it's AYCE feature, quality and price, would still be our second choice. Yes, tough competition. Keeping that in mind, this star rating should most likely be a 3.5 rating.

Lunch meeting: it's Zoooshi tiime! Iv'e know steve and his wife grace for about 3 years now. So happy for them to have there own zooshi spot. Everything steve prepares is amazing and FRESH! He pre pares the best sweet shrimp in town check the pix. The seaweed salad and salmon hand rolls are a hit so is the special pozu sauce. Great deals on the happy hour menu and $1.50 soju shots can't go wrong with that. Overall great place for some real sushi and entertainment from steve. Don't forget to say hi to grace she's definently the backbone of this place. -arigato MÅ kekkÅ desu.
(4)Jeffrey C.
Hidden little gem of a restaurant. Came here for my birthday with a large party and was very well taken care of. Server was very nice and attentive. Food was delicious and my calamari was probably some of the best I've had! Will definitely be stopping by more often!!
(5)R H.
Everything is solid. Impeccable service. Nonstop quality.

Amazing

Many sushi bars and restaurants try to look Japanese, but Taishow Sushi stands out as a cut above - I suppose the word I would use is "tasteful" in terms of the look and feel of the place. There's actually a mix of Korean and Japanese decor, and it's quite evident that someone really took some time and effort to try and make the place look good, from the main dining area all the way to the bathrooms. The next thing I would have to say is that the menu offers real value - you get quite a good amount of food for the price. Granted, this isn't a Michelin 3 Star restaurant, but it's decent - order the bento box (Taishow Combo) and you'll feel full and satisfied. There are some Korean dishes on the menu too, so that's a nice mix. The miso soup is not Japanese style, but Korean - which has a slightly more earthy and is less salty. Try the Korean BBQ - it's pretty yummy. This place would be ideal for a quiet dinner for two if you're looking to try out a new sushi restaurant with a little Korean mixed in - that helps if you're not into raw fish and want something cooked - trust me, Korean food is really tasty. Finally, the chef is actually Japanese - that's a bit unique nowadays as most are not (unless you actually go to the high end sushi restaurants where they've been formally trained by sushi masters - see the movie "Jiro Dreams of Sushi" to take a peek into the world of super intense dedication to the art of making sushi).
(4)Nick E.
My most recent visit was spot on! Very fresh and delicious. I hope next time is just as enjoyable.
(5)Jonathan K.
Was in town for training and this restaurant was close to the hotel. As I walked in, I was quickly greeted by the waitress who was friendly. The restaurant was very clean and had no fishy smell at all. The sushi bar was neat and tidy. The sushi was incredible.... I wished this place was in the San Diego area as I would frequently visit.
(5)Jay K.
Wish I had the same experience everyone else had in Corona. Can't say I was wow'ed by anything in particular. "Steve" and his staff seemed nice enough though.
(2)Jeff F.
Taishow was such a positive find for me. I'm not a huge fan of a lot of "Americanized" sushi that has eel sauce on every roll. These places have their fish ordered "pre-cut" and have lost the art of good sushi making skills. HOWEVER, Steve-san is a very skilled sushi chef and I highly recommend this place for real sushi connoisseurs. He does do the special rolls too, but fish is fresh and everything ordered was perfect.
(5)Rebecca P.
The owner is a lot of fun and his wife is very sweet. I love the atmosphere, nicely decorated, great energy; everyone there that night was fun and friendly. The sushi is excellent, presentation is so pretty. Had the mussels, seaweed salad, seared tuna, spicy salmon hand rolls and sweet shrimp; all were great. Don't forget the soju bombs and yummy banana surprise!!
(5)Elaine R.
Went in to order a sashimi salad. They asked me if 15 minutes was okay? I said sure not a problem. To go. 1/2 hour later. Are you kidding?!? Will not go back to this place..
(1)Lynda H.
Always a great experience. My favorite sushi in town!!! Steve is awesome!!! My son always picks tai show for whatever occasion were celebrating!!!!!!!!!!
(5)Joe P.
Steve is the Man! Great sushi! Good lunch specials! If he had an AYCE menu I'd stay longer! JP Recommended!
(5)David A.
Food is always amazing and service is even better. My wife and I always enjoy coming here!
(5)Robert M.
There is nothing better than a nice sushi lunch or dinner or snack. Sushi is simply the best and Taishow is one of the best additions to Corona in a long time. Steve is an excellent sushi man and its actually very nice to sit at the bar and talk to him over lunch. I like that there never seems to be much of a crowd, but that also has me worried that Steve and his wife won't be around forever. The fish is fresh and tasty, they are constantly adding to and changing their menu options, the prices are fair and the location is convenient. Steve has been working sushi rolls for over 20 years and always has something new and different that he wants to try. I've been going so frequently that Steve knows what I like and I leave the menu up to him. I have yet to be disappointed and I have wound up trying things I might not have eaten otherwise.
(5)Elle A.
good food and good service.
(3)Leya K.
I love to try new restaurants and I don't really make a big deal about them, but I really like this one. There are so many sushi places around now a days, but this one is real chill and the servings are big. The Sushi Chef, Steve, and the owner, Grace, are super nice. Great service and very welcoming! I want to see this business grow because it is high quality. Real casual and you'll get served right away. Now about the food... * Huge rolls, fresh fish! * Garlic Roll - sounds overwhelming, but absolutely great on the palate. So yummy. * The bento boxes are filling and the sushi and sashimi is grade "A", not the usual smaller pieces. * They have a great variety and has special items like fresh/live sweet shrimp served they way you want it, absolutely fresh. Hard to find in Corona, so if you need to find a new place to eat sushi - try Taishow. * Ponzu served with most dishes - I didn't know but its vinegar, soy sauce and lemon. *Variety - something for everyone Lowes area by Magnolia. Not hard to find. Used to be the old Niki Niko, but upgraded for sure. New Management . Hopefully they'll have sake bomb specials soon! You will likey long time! I'm headed there now. I keep on bringing new people to try and its all good reviews!
(5)Stacy M.
First time here for a late lunch. Friendly sushi chef that talked a lot with some obvious regulars. Had two rolls, the names have escaped me but were fresh and delicious.
(4)Tammy D.
Fresh sushi! Great rolls! Our go to place! Steve will make anything you'd like. The fish is always fresh and he doesn't skimp on the portions. They also have a happy hour w/ rolls and some other dishes like baked mussels, appetizers and salads. The only thing I wish was better would be the wine list. But I don't come here for the wine, I come here for the sushi.
(4)Jasmine J.
This place is excellent. Steve is an excellent sushi chef. I had heard about him from other people on Yelp, so I gave this place a try. He DEFINITELY lives up to expectations. Every single plate is like a work of art. And it's pretty darn tasty as well. I can say, without a doubt, that this is the best sushi place in Corona. P.S. try the Burrito roll. So tasty :)
(5)Todd N.
Steve and Grace we love you, best of luck in business. There is nothing better then a high quality sushi place that has some great personality. I loved all the food Steve made for us and the "Omakase" was the best! From what I heard a happy hour special is coming that's going to make me addicted to sushi again. I found a new place in Corona that I can call home.
(5)Adam B.
People reviewing this must never have had really great fish. The salmon lacked flavor, the red snapper was left on my plate, the tuna was just OK. This may be a better place to get rolls or chicken but stay away from the fish you really know quality.
(2)Renee L.
My husband and two kids love coming here. Food is excellent and it is also kid friendly. My kids are already using chop sticks and some day soon they will be moving on to rolls!
(5)Heero Y.
Love this place. Always calm and sedate. Other places get packed and customer service suffers. I usually don't like all you can eat because the quality takes a dive. This place is right up my alley, I don't even think they have AYCE. Definitely recommend it if you want great sushi without fighting the crowds.
(5)Amber J.
Steve the owner/sushi chef has a ton of experience and it shows in the quality of his food!!! So good! Everything is super fresh, and the staff are inviting :). We are making this an almost weekly stop!
(5)Tracy B.
Just a quick few thoughts on Taishow Sushi. I have stopped in here twice recently with my family. They like sushi, I don't really have a interest in trying it. That being said, the family approve and say the food is tasty. My husband is the main sushi fan. He says the Sushi he has tried both times were delish. I am more of the person along for the ride so am pleased the have alternatives that are good. Most sushi places in town have sushi and then the other dishes are "just edible". Steve the owner, as people have already mentioned is a friendly guy. I sure hope he can keep this place open so I can continue to have decent teriyaki chicken rice bowl for 6 bucks when my family gets a craving to have more sushi ! The chicken and rice bowl is a nice amount of white meat chicken (unusual because sometimes I can't tell what meat these places are using) and so Yummy. Another thing that the fam has tried was the vegetable box meal with tofu and veggie roll, tempura ,salad and soup. It is said the tempura was amazing, the veggie was good but ask for it how you want it because it comes with alot of sprouts, tofu comes with a sauce if it doesn't come on it be sure to ask for it. The atmosphere is nice, modern, and a clean decor. Friendly staff. Pretty empty so far the two times I went so please stop in and give them a try. Good Luck Steve =)
(5)Raffaal N.
I love places that have sushi happy hour. Lots of options and choices. Very fresh fish
(4)Elise D.
I was here when it was known as Niko Niko and the change was not for the better.. They are exuberant in their welcome and then you are wallpaper to them. The prices are getting larger and the portions are getting smaller. They don't price out the rolls on the menu for a reason, expect sticker shock. I got one of their rolls a side of edamame asked for it to go as I didn't feel very welcome and it was $18.50 it isn't a place that I will go again. At that price I should at least be made to feel as if I mattered.
(1)Christine D.
Best sushi in the Inland Empire! My boyfriend and I come here 1 or 2 times a week. The sushi is VERY fresh and the service is awesome. Great Happy Hour specials too. Steve, the owner and sushi chef, is so entertaining and fun to talk to - so try to sit at the sushi bar if you can.
(5)Patti W.
Taishow sushi is great! Very comfortable setting and relaxed atmosphere. Steve is an awesome sushi chef. Has always been top notch! Sushi is awesome!!
(5)Estelle T.
Wonderful sushi - love the Dragon rolls!
(4)C C.
Awsome flavors and great happy hour deals. Quick service and great prices for large serving sizes. I have never liked mussles before, but I tried the baked mussles off a friends plate and, wow, amazing! Loved the crunch roll and hungry roll. I would go out of my way to go here.
(5)Amy R.
A little leary at first after they changed owners and changed the menu but it was really good. The prices were decent, the rolls were great. They don't have the happy hour specials like Niko Niko use to but thats ok! $5 for two large beers...good with me!
(4)Vesna W.
Really good sushi, great happy hour specials, even on weekends! Can't wait to go back!
(5)Ryan M.

We have been to Taishow at least 6 times! Food is always awesome and fresh with some unique dishes not found elsewhere and the service is amazing! We always have a great time and are treated with kindness!

I was very excited to find this place so close to my Hotel. I was even more excited when, after I ordered, Steve asked, "Are you a big eater? That might be too much." Never in all my travels have I ever ordered too much Sushi. I have definitely paid too much before. Not tonight. I ordered a large Kirin (6.95) and the Monkey Balls (7.50) to start. Biggest and best I've ever tasted. While I waited I was given a nice soup and a huge salad. Also very tasty. Next was the dinner Nigiri Combo (13.50). Only 7 pieces but good sized portions of very fresh fish. Next was the Autumn Roll (10.95). That's when I got a little worried that I had ordered too much. It was huge. I took my time eating, watched the football game and had a great conversation with Steve. Just when I thought I couldn't eat any more Steve gave me a nicely prepared orange to top it all off. I definitely ordered too much but I enjoyed every bite of it! The best part was when the check came and the grand total was only $41.95. I know I say this a lot but... Once again, I have a new favorite Sushi place!

So glad we found a new sushi place! The edamame with garlic was incredible. The salmon sashimi was also wonderful. Steve was delightful. We will definitely be returning.
