Finally came here after hearing rave verbal reviews about how much better it is than The Flame Broiler. Seriously.. It's the same deal.. The meat does taste different but not in a bad way, and they serve salmon... For the price and the convience... I'll stick with Flame Broiler, unless I'm in the area or feenin for some fish. [Just noticed this review in my draft box... I don't remember writing it, that's how old it is]

I'm a fan of their chicken, sauce and brown rice. Also the fact that you get half an avocado when you add it on. The chicken salad plate with oriental dressing is delicious, I like that they add pine nuts. I've tasted the beef but I'm not a fan. Also if you love cabbage you should add veggies.

(FIRST REVIEW) I literally made a Yelp account for this... I love waba grill....but this place....is HORRIBLE! I ordered a half and half veggie bowl with avocado (which is extra)... After getting home, the avocado was missing! About a week later I figured I'd give them another shot. AGAIN, NO AVOCADO! I don't understand how they could forget that. I mean I'm paying extra for it!! I'll never come here again...BUYER BEWARE! Your avocado will be missing!

I love WaBa Grill and I have to say this location is the best by far! Very clean inside, friendly staff, my order came out quick! They even have little ziplock back for the jalaopenos and carrots that were not soaked in the vinegar. Really great Waba Experience! Thank you!

Rude service & hard rice. Service: Girl knew the script all too well that she wasn't hearing me make substitutions (ignored that i wanted brown rice), and she asked if I wanted onions. I said yea but she repeated back no. When i tried to correct her she spoke over me and said "is that all, that'll be seven dollars..." I was planning to order a drink, but since she cut me off I decided to order it when I drove up to the window to pay. She took my payment, closed the window as I was about to talk (we made eye contact before she closed the window). Over it. Food wasn't great, service in the drive thru was terrible. She short changed me too but I didn't bother going back.

Ordered chicken bowl, brown rice, extra chicken, paid $3 for extra chicken , $1+ or so for veggies which translates to 2 pieces of broccoli :/ for total of $10+ for a bowl and was still hungry after eating this. I didn't notice any extra chicken at all. My suggestion, drive to Chipotle, worth the drive. I informed corporate and they offered a "free meal" but I'd rather not. You can spend your money and time here if you want. Plenty of competition in LA and this area.

I live nearby and they always provide their best! My food is always satisfying without disappointing. Even the drive thru does a great job! I love it here!

I think Waba Grill is pretty solid for what it is. For $8, you can good a grilled salmon teryiaki bowl with decent enough quality salmon (I'm sure it's farm raised, but it's super cheap), lots of steamed veggies and rice. The teryiaki sauce is really good, right amount of sweet vs. salty. You can get unlimited extra teryiaki and green onions on the side, which is great. Overall a great healthy lunch option for the price. When I had to work at a client's office in City of Industry for a few weeks it saved me from Subway every day. Would go more often if I had one closer.

I saw the sign go up when they opened. I'm a fan of their chicken and steaks. Quick meal and somewhat healthy. Why can't they open one closer to my work or home?! Since this is a somewhat convenient location, I should be frequenting this location. Lol

  • Steph S.

Seriously why do they always forget something smh these people should pay more attention to what they are handling out and getting the orders right.. I never get her name but there's always this rude girl on drive thru.. Makes my experience horrible.

  • Lisa W.

Very disappointing. They overcharged me for my food. When I asked them what would be suitable for a vegetarian, they all laughed at me and made me feel very offended. When they cooked it was very unsanitary and cooked raw chicken and other food items together with shared equipment. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

  • Andrew M.

I live an exit away from this location. So it's super close. The drive thru also makes it really convenient if you don't want to get off although sometimes it can be a little slow. For the price you pay i just wish you didn't have to buy a drink separately. The food being good is what brings me back regardless!

Wabagrill wabagood they food is food is good but there people there suck. Most of them are rude but there food is good. If they can fix that then it will be perfict.

Waba customer service was gracious enough to get me my avocado on my next order which I just picked up. Thanks for caring! I'll continue to do business with you for a long time. Thanks again.

Waba Grill isnt bad, this location is... 1st Visit: Ordered Steak plate with brown rice, got Steak Plate with white rice. Ok, 1st time here, got to give them another chance. 2nd Visit: Steak-Chicken Plate with brown rice, got Steah-Chicken Plate with white rice...apparently, they ask you if you want brown rice, but either they dont understand english, don't understand what brown rice is, or don't even have brown rice there and pass white rice off as brown rice...ridiculous. On my 2nd Visit, i asked for brown rice 4 times, and the order taker confirmed the brown rice, yet i still got white rice... Please avoid this location and go to another one, unless you want frustration with your order.

Did a phone order and waited almost 10 mins for someone to pick up. Arrived at the drive thru and waited an addt'l 20 mins for my food. Very rude workers and very unfriendly. I purchased 4 plates and the side salad portions were very small. They mixed up my order request. I will never go back to this location.

First time I tried Waba Grill was at this place, I was instantly hooked! Love the half & half, it has a great flavor to it. Service is always on point. Clean area, cool little spot to have a Waba Grill. Like the other reviews say, this place is a healthy spot to be at. It's definitely a gem. They also have Drive Thru! So if you don't wanna get off the whip, hit that drive-thru. It hasn't disappointed me that's for sure.

Ok so maybe my previous review was a bit unfair. I went to this location again last week and I now give it two thumbs up. I love the convenience of the drive-thru and my food was fresh and delicious!

Our all time favorite!!! Whn in doubt just go Waba!!!:))) chicken brown rice with veggies are the bomb!!!

  • Dee M.

I've tried the chicken bowl with brown rice & white meat which is one of their "healthier" options, but something is missing in the flavor. I just don't enjoy it as much as flame broiler chicken bowls. I can't guarantee i'll be back again to eat here or at any other waba grill.

Middle of the hottest summer I remember in SoCal and they're too cheap to turn on their A/C. What a miserable lunch. Will never come to this location again. Food was as good as any Waba Grill but not worth it when you're sweating through lunch.

If you've been to one waba you've been to all. It always hits the spot.

This Waba Grill is up the hill, next to the mountain area of the City of Industry, not far from the Fry's. I am in the Industrial part of Industry, not to be redundantly redundant. This place is more expansive than the Flame Broiler, not by much. The flavor was ok, for thin, grilled beef and soft jasmine rice. I loved it once I poured soy sauce and teriyaki sauce on it, the green onions make me come back. A bit pricey compared to Mom & Pop teriyaki bowl places, but many of them which I loved, now gone with the recession. So, these commercialized teriyaki bowl places have me at their will. It is ok, I do not mind spending my hard earned pennies for a bowl I enjoy. Even if I have to drive uptown, I will gladly do it. What will people say, if I am liking, a grill in the upside of town, an uptown grill? Song parody of Billy Joel's 1983 song "Uptown Girl" youtube.com/watch?v=hCuM… Uptown Grill You been up there in your hillside world I bet you never had downtown guys You think we are all just eating burgers and fries I'm gonna try This uptown grill They serve it up like it is a processing mill As long as anyone with 8 bucks can Now they serving up this downtown man That's what I am With not too much fat So subtle, like a lime And when you pick up You'll say it is lunch time My meat is not so tough That's because I chose to eat at an uptown grill It's a drive up to this hillside world With a flavor that is never coy With a bowl or plate that they employ What is your choice Uptown grill You know I can't afford the combo bowls But I'm so happy when my bowl comes in How you see me with a healthy grin And when they grilling So lean, meat so fine And when they serving I'll say, that is mine The meat is not so tough That's because I chose to eat at an uptown grill They serve it up like it is a processing mill As long as anyone with 8 bucks can Now they serving up this downtown man That's what I am Uptown grill It's my uptown grill You know that I love My uptown grill My uptown grill You know that I love My uptown grill My uptown grill

Waba grill is the best teriyaki by far from all the others I've ever had. What I like most is that the ingredients are freshly prepared to grill. No msg or frying which is perfect for those trying to watch their figure like me. The staff is very friendly and polite, that explains why the giant tip jar next to the cash register is always full. It gets crossed during the week between 11am-1:00pm, that's the typical lunch hour. It's best to phone in your order because you'll avoid waiting in line and to pick up your order, when you phone it in you're in and out there pretty quick.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. This location is always clean and very well lit. The food is always a great quality and they leave the condiments out. I can put as much teriyaki sauce or BBQ sauce on my food as I want. I come here often.

I have an office basically around the corner from this dining plaza and Waba Grill has been my dietary staple for the last three months. I give them a solid 4 stars based on the following pros and cons: PROS: * Healthiest dining option in the area... otherwise it's fast food burgers, Mexican food, or Subway * The restaurant is always clean * The staff here is very friendly and helpful (and a couple of cute girls work here, what do you know) * There's a drive thru!? * Portions are usually quite generous! CONS: * This place gets SLAMMED... I guess it's what you'd expect in this commercial district, but the drive thru does get really backed up around lunch hour. I recommend walk up. * Food can be salty and overdressed. They pour on quite a bit of teriyaki sauce by default (more than other locations) and I end up almost never using any extra. Same thing with the salad on a combo plate - it's going to be drenched in dressing 50% of the time. If you have high blood pressure, you might want to ask for your sauce on the side.

Have lunch here foods always fresh and always good! Customer service is kind of edgy at time but over all great food

  • Douglas F.

Dirty tables that I had to clean- brown lettuce throughout salad and they said it was normal- and the combo shows fruit (watermelon, strawberries, cantaloupe)- we got a 1/2 of orange- please if you r not going to serve what is in the picture or anything close to it then get rid of the picture!!!

I've been here a couple of times after training in La Habra. It's along the way back to Los Angeles. It's good for something quick and kind of healthy. I usually get the half and half bowl, which is half chicken and half beef over brown rice and avocado. Now avocado is extra but hey, we're in California, So must of you expect paying extra for avocado. I try not to steer away from the chicken or beef because they tend to take longer if you ask for salads or salmon at this place and I don't know why. Shouldn't it be quicker to make a salad than a teriyaki chicken bowl? I don't know, this is just what i've experienced, might be different for others. I usually come during the rush hour of lunch and the service is pretty quick and the establishment is pretty clean. I recommend coming here to eat for something quick and healthy for the most part.

Waba Grill claims to be a health-centric teriyaki place. This location was right off the 60 freeway - You can see it on top of a hill exiting Crossroads Parkway. I ordered the beef and chicken combo plate with brown rice (which is a nice option without having to pay extra. Overall it tasted better quality than Flame Broiler but nothing exciting. I'd recommend eating it with the hot sauce provided by the counter

This waba is cool, it has a drive thru which is fairly fast. I have yet to be disappointed with this location.

  • Guadalupe M.

I love this waba location. Have gone to others but none are as good as this one. They always get the good right no matter what I order and the service is great. Clean friendly environment. I will definitely continue coming here regularly

  • Jay C.

It's one of the healthier Chicken Teriyaki places. But I have some qualms with their to-go box setup. All the good stuff is cramped to one side so it's a bit tough getting started if you like to mix your rice and chicken before eating. But the flavors are good.

    (4)
  • Ticha B.

No frills, fast food, teriyaki. Not bad at all. Quick and easy, BUT not enough seating during lunch and super busy around noon! Like the self-serve soda machine. Pretty good teriyaki. I liked the beef teriyaki more than the chicken. An easy meal if you're in a hurry in between work. Plenty of parking and credit cards ok!

Been here 3 times and each time I've gone here, it just feel dirty and unclean, but more to the point of the most recent visit. Came here last weeks ago on a Monday and use the drive through. I order a chicken bowl and a salmon bowl with avocado. While at the menu, I confirm with the cashier 3 times both reciting the number 13 as well as mentioning the salmon bowl. Each time she confirm that to be correct. I got to the driveway and paid for the food and confirm with her once more. As I got home, to my surprise, it was not what I order but actually the number 14 shrimp bowl. Now, even though this waba grill is the closest to my house, its on the opposite direction of where I always travel. Not only that, just getting to that waba grill would take anywhere from 10-30 minutes depending on traffic on the freeway. I called them to let them know that they screw up and that i cant eat shrimp as I am allergic and would have to throw it away and go without dinner. They told me the best they can do is to drive all the way back and make an exchange or refund and that was it. I told them just for me to drive there and back would prob cost me more then what the food was worth especially with traffic. They then transfer me to a manager name Ivan and after talking to him, it infuriate me even further as you can hear him laughing in the background as I am complaining to him of their service, especially after confirming 4 times before I left. I ask if I can just get reimburse at a different location that is closer to my work rather back to his location and he said no. He then told me he will contact corporate and they will call me back the next day which would be Tuesday. Tuesday came and the entire day no one called. I called back at them after work and he came up with some lame excuse or what not and told me they will contact me on Wednesday. Halfway through Wednesday, no one called and I called them again for the 3rd time. This time Ivan gave me corporate phone number and told me to call them myself. Calling corporate, I was told someone would contact me that same day. Needless to say Thursday came and no one called me yet with a resolution. Called corporate again, and they told me the same thing, that some1 will get back to me today. To my surprise some1 did get back to me and promise to make things right. Its been a week now and nothing has yet happened. I feel as if I have just been conned.

I never heard of this place before, Teriyaki style healthy food sounds delicious, so me and my friend decided to take a visit. Being a fast food restraunt, the service is just order and grab your food. I ordered the vegetable beef and took a bite out of it and it was ok, a little on the salty side. Can't really complain, it was bearable, but I'm pretty sure there's better teriyaki grill joints that I can hit up next time. Maybe it's this particular store chain, I don't know, but it's still fast food.

I've been waiting for this place to open for the longest time and i must say that It was definitely worth the wait. I have no other waba grills to compare it too since this is the first one ive been too but this place is definitely comparable to flamebroilers. I came here on a weekday lunch and it was really busy which meant that the place must be really good. After waiting about 10 minutes in line i finally ordered. I got the half-half bowl with chicken and beef with onions on top. First thing i noticed when getting my order was that the bowl was a little bigger than flamebroilers. I added a lot of the teriyaki sauce (just like i do at flamebroilers) and the bowl tasted great. The chicken and beef was well seasoned and tasted great with the onion. I will definitely be back here again. So why did i take off one star? as i was waiting in line to order one of the tables in the lobby area which was occupied suddenly broke. All their food and drinks spilled all over the place and all over the customers. It had me paranoid while i was eating my lunch.

  • Tiffany P.

Waba is comparable to Flame Broiler (menu and price-wise) and just as tasty. The portions are plentiful and the steamed veggies are fresh! I loathe soggy broccoli, but theirs was crunchy and fresh. Waba's teriyaki sauce was also very yummy. Brown rice is .80 cents extra... boo. Convenient location, right off the 60.

  • Karen N.

Clean. Fast. Efficient. Healthy. Delicious. These are probably the best words to describe the Waba Grill at this location. I say they're efficient because they have a freakin' drive thru. LOVE IT! When I want something simple, I'd get the Chicken Teriyaki Bowl (with rice & veggies), but if I want to feast, I'd get the Ribs Plate. I always say, "Go big or go home." I go big at Waba Grill...because their Ribs Plate is delicious and it always fill me up. GET THE RIBS!

  • Jeff M.

I really like Weba Grill...nice healthy menu options including chicken, beef, salmon, and shrimp...and of course a vegetarian option. All options can be served in a bowl or as part of plate which would include a small salad as well. I had the salmon bowl with brown rice (add .50 for this option).....it was extremely tasty and best of all, not cooked in unhealthy oil or with MSG. I definitely recommend Waba if you have not tried it yet..you won't be disappointed.

    (4)
  • Lo G.

The quality of the service is what got the stars... people are nice here :). But the quality of the food for the price isn't fair. And the food is not that good. Definitely not ass good as volcano grill in west covina. Their quality of salmon is better and also has a way better flavor. I would suggest that waba grill looks into that so they can provide a better product.

  • Noreen B.

If the food wasn't good, I would probably stop coming to this particular location. I absolutely hate coming here with the poor service, and the lack of graciousness. Each time I have gone, I have been charged extra for vegetables (because I ask for easy rice.) You want to charge me more for vegetables, that's fine! Even though I could probably haul my Mexican-booty to a ranch and get them myself, I wouldn't complain if each time I've gone they've given me a ton of rice and a pitiful amount of vegetables. As for the food, the place is pretty healthy. Everything is fresh, and the brown rice is cooked well. The Teriyaki chicken and beef are cooked just right. They even have jalapeños on the side, for you to enjoy with your meal. Typically, the vegetables I don't seem to get enough of are steamed perfectly and crunch crunch crunch in your mouth. Yes, I would have to say that the taste is great. The service, not so much.

    (3)
  • Mark H.

Although I liked the half and half veggie bowl, the service kind of sucked. The girls behind the counter kind of didn't care about anything. Everything else was delicious.

    (3)
  • Maria D.

The low rating is due to the poor service. First the cashier punched in the wrong order adding extra shrimp to my order. Charged me and when I brought it up to her no apologies just pulled out cash not even thinking about the extra tax Ihad payed. Fine whatever its just tax not a big deal. 20 minutes go by still waiting. Everyone that ordered after us was served. Wtf! Forgot my order and my brothers which he ordered from a different cashier. No apologies either for the screw up. Management your employees suck! Teach them how to say sorry and hire ppl that smile when taking customers order. Food was good but I rather go to a different location. The worse customer service ever!

    (2)
  • Des D.

Service is very slow, especially during lunch. Don't expect to be out of the drive thru for about 30 minutes. They are next to the 60 freeway so it is loud. You have to scream in order for them to hear you. Idk why the branch can't do anything about it. The management should invest on something for better drive thru speaker. The employees are okay. Sometimes rude, but sometimes good service.

    (3)
  • Kat A.

This one star isn't for the food but for the customer service I received. All I can say is HORRIBLE! For lunch, my company will often place large orders here in which they're normally very good and quick about. This last visit was less than ok. Our order was for about 5 people so we thought we would try drive thru. The girl taking our order was rude and kept talking over me while I was trying to place my order and also asking repetitive questions that I already answered (for example I ordered a chicken bowl with white rice and onions and she would ask if I wanted white rice or onions). This lasted throughout the entirety of each order and we order 5 bowls. When I try to explain what I wanted on each bowl, she would rudely tell me I was confusing her repeatedly muttering oh my god and giving out heaving sighs. We usually visit this location for the convenience but after this last visit we will be going the extra distance for better customer service and comprehension of the English language -_-

  • Chelsea B.

Waba Grill is so fresh and delicious! the chicken and veggie bowl is what i tend to get, but add the brown rice for an even healthier meal! this is the first time that i had Waba Grill and it is very comparable to Flame Broiler, though i can't remember which place is more expensive. i noticed that Waba grill charges for just about every substitution. pretty disappointing.

    (4)
  • Jay K.

Teribowl basically. A tad overpriced, but convenient and consistent. Funny how they sure put a lot of green onions. Thumbs up, but let me know what you think.

    (3)
  • Lourdes H.

Unfortunately, I won't be returning here, despite the fact that this is the closest teriyaki place to home. In short, brown rice was sitting in a puddle of what I'm guessing was vegetable water - completely inedible; veggies were SO overcooked that they didn't require chewing, and amount of chicken was absurdly disproportionate (not always the case, but it was this day). I was so utterly disgusted and disappointed, I swore off this Waba. Seriously. Never. Again. Likely culprit: poor staffing choices, poor staff training, and sloppy management.

    (1)
  • Lester-Anthony L.

Teriyaki bowls or plates with your choice of beef, chicken or salmon. The salmon was good lent food, and the beef and chicken isn't too bad when I'm in the mood for it. This place just doesn't stand out for me and isn't food that I'd have a craving for. The reason I go here is strictly convenience. It can get ridiculously crowded during lunch hours, so plan properly.

  • Maggie C.

I used to go to Waba Grill in downtown LA almost once a week. It's cheap, good (for fast food teriyaki) and there's a private seating area upstairs that people don't know. So that Waba Grill is my standard. I was excited to see grand opening sign from 60 freeway. Wohoo cheap dinner!! And FTR of course ;) I was disappointed...great service yes but food wasn't that good. The one in downtown has good teriyaki chicken and okay teriyaki beef. This place here has almost good teriyaki chicken and beef. Yes, it's healthy..I get the healthy concept but please make it as good. And why did I see veggie stems? That's not yummy people!! I will probably give this place one more chance before I move on to yelp other yummier stuff. But I did like how the employee actually checked on me to see how I was doing. 3 stars!! Waba Grill is almost yummylicious!!

    (3)
  • Tak C.

I go over there whenever I can. I like their bowls. It has no MSG and it is not too salty. It's better than burgers and fries. It is not too pricey.

Many people mention Flame Broiler when they talk about this place. So I will do the same. In my opinion, this place is NOT better than Flame Broiler. I dont use Teriyaki Sauce for dieting reasons, but the stock chicken at Waba Grill is mad lacking flavor. In fact, is almost flavorless. In contrast, the stock chicken at FB is much tastier. But this review is about Waba, isnt it? This place isnt that bad. As people have mentioned, its convenient and consistent. What sort of bothers me is that its overpriced. If I had a Flame Broiler on Walnut Grove In Rosemead, I would never go to this place. If I had B-Mans Teriyaki close to me, I wouldnt eat either. Ever. UPDATE: Ok so I have awarded them 1 extra star. Ive gone a few more times since the review. The food is still a bit pricey and they charge extra for everything. However, the convenience and quality is consistent. The chicken does taste better with a little teriyaki on it (i used to put none). Its a pretty healthy meal (with brown rice anyway). Until they open a Flame Broiler close by, I guess Ill be hitting this spot up.

  • Derrick M.

Service was below average, but it's a fast food chain not much you can do about that. The food was pretty decent. I ordered the chicken bowl with all breast meat and brown rice! The main reason I come here is for continence. Nonetheless it's not food that will make you come back to this establishment, but it's worth a try if you're in the area!

    (3)
  • Jireh H.

Tried this place several times. Chicken Bowl - Prepared just the way I like it. Meat is done right, not too dry, and sauced just enough. Beef Bowl - Meat is not only tough but salty. Tasted like salted jerky to me. Salmon - this order is a complete joke. It was a dried shriveled piece of nothingness. It was practically rice and vegetables and a side of salmon. Perhaps, I came on the wrong day for fish but heck, at least serve me something bigger than what came on my plate. I would recommend the chicken bowl though. That's the only thing I'm ever going to order if I come back here.

    (3)
  • Paul G.

Decent teriyaki bowls. Food is comparable to Flame Broiler (FB). Personally, I like the chicken bowl here than the beef. The beef is just too sweet for my taste and it lacks the smokey taste that i get from FB. The salmon is very good and not dry at all, but the size is too small and if you add an extra piece, it gets really pricey. Service is excellent. Food is made to order and they serve it really fast. Happy eating folks!

  • Adam G.

Not to bad? I mean the price is fair for a bowl and the meat wasn't (Beef Bowl) fatty or tasteless. Service could use less "teenage attitude". With that said here's your score out of 5 points. Location: 5 points, located off the 60 and 605 freeway. Near a prime industrial location and conveniently located near the entrance and exit of the 60 fwy, Crossroads Pkwy. Parking: 5 points, huge lot Service: 3 points, For a chain not found in a Mall. It had plenty of Mall attitude. You know that "what do you want, anything else, for here or to go" dry attention. Food: 4 points, rice wasn't dry and meat was fair. I added plenty of that teriyaki sauce before I tasted it so that's the reason I'm giving it a 4. It's not to bad. I'll go back and try it before I add the teriyaki sauce to give them a fair chance. It's better then Yos______a, (I try not to name drop), and I'll give a try when I'm not on lunch and have to rush out. But remember it's joint that should be found in the Puente Hills Mall. The poor service was just that bad that it dropped them 1 star. But you'll see me there again Yelpers!

This place is decent and if you are craving teriyaki bowl meals, this place is pretty good. A tad overpriced in my opinion, but I think they reduced their price recently. Their chicken bowls are a reasonable $5 and they offer more variety than most of their competitors. They offer: Chicken Beef Shrimp Salmon Vegetable For the most part they are very quick. However; the last time I came through the Drive Thru, I ordered 2 Salmon bowls that took what seemed like 6 hours [especially since I was in a hurry]. I also ordered a side of Kim Chi. Half way through the ridiculous wait, the drive thru girl handed me a dollar and eighty cents in cash, and I was like "I paid in credit" and she said, "Well, we're out of Kim Chi so is it okay if we refund you in cash?" [I didn't even know they charged for Kim Chi -_-] Anyway, Salmon takes I guess forever to cook, and not quite as good as beef or even chicken but definitely more expensive. If your diet requires you eat salmon, or if your conscious doesn't want you to eat chicken or beef, yeah sure get the salmon, but otherwise. Stick with traditional beef or chicken.

Flame Broiler is very good, but Waba Grill is better! Waba Grill serves a great, delicious, this is as good as it gets, Yoshinoya who?, charbroiled Steak Plate Combo with rice, salad, and orange slices. Not only is the taste superb, but it's healthy too. It might be a little pricey of $7.00 plus for the combo, but it's definitely worth it. For those who don't feel like wearing out the bottom of your new tennis shoes and don't mind wasting some extra gas, this place has a drive-thru. So next time you are around Waba Grill, try the Steak Plate Comb. Subway could wait another day.

Anyone who knows me knows that I am in love with Waba. I eat it all the time because its healthy and its easy for me to digest. I usually order the Chicken Veggie bowl with avocado which is a meal that last me for two days. Im in heaven! =) Couple of observations: *The place does seem dirty especially during the lunch rush and Im not talking about the food prep area but mainly the dining room. There are alot of customers that rush this place and it always seems "sticky" to me. Its grossed me out to the point that I dont eat here anymore, I order through the drive thru. *The shrimp is not good with the teriyaki sauce concoction on it. Ive tried it twice and its just not happening. Overall, one of my fave places to eat =)

Great Teriyaki Chicken Bowl! They have white and brown rice and for an extra charge you can get white meat only chicken. I've tried the white and brown rice chicken bowls and both were great. This location also has a convenient drive-thru. Give it a try if you are in the area!! So yummy!

Wow I can't believe it has taken me so long to review this place! Better late then never I suppose? This place is great. The food is delicious, the service is awesome, and the eating area is always immaculately clean whenever I come to dine in. Even if there's a long line it usually goes by really quick when you have to order. You have the options of ordering through drive through, over the phone before hand for pick up, or dining inside or outside Waba grill. The food is sooooooo yummy. Everything is prepared fresh when you order. I usually just get the teriyaki chicken bowl. You can add as many onions and/or jalapeños with carrots as you'd like. They have a couple of containers on the counter where you can do so.(: woohoo. They have unlimited self serve fountain drinks, and their Waba hot sauce is amazing. Some say the food is overpriced, but I have to disagree with you on that one. This place is constantly sending out coupons through the mail and just recently i was able to print out a coupon off their facebook so I have saved a lot of money that way. They offer very good deals such as buy one bowl get the second free, buy one plate and two drinks and get a second plate free; ect. This place I say is far more delicious than flamebroiler, or any other teriyaki place I have ever been to. I have been and always will be a regular. This is truly my favorite place to eat.

Anyone ever been to FlameBroilers? Okay, they're not exactly like them, but Waba seems to be about the same. Prices are pretty high for these kinds of food, but I think the chicken here is better. The one thing i really like about Waba more than Flame Broilers is the fact that you can choose vegetables instead of rice. I'm not sure if you can do the same at flame broilers (and you can probably request it), but i do not recall seeing the option on the menu. Due to location, I would definitely come again. It's not something I'd go out of my way for though.

This waba grill is the worst I've been to. Don't ever use the drive thru if you're looking for quick service. Every.single.time I've been here, I've had to wait 15 mins+ for my food when there are only 1 or 2 cars ahead of me. That is a long time to just sit in your car doing nothing but waiting to move up a spot. This location has the SLOWEST service & the employees there aren't that great either.

I came here during a break from school. It was also my first time and I wanted to try it out since my bro told me it was better than "The Flame Broiler." According to my opinion l, that turned out false! I ordered the chicken veggie bowl with brown rice. The only thing I liked from this place was the brown rice. Other than that, this place lacked customer service and cleanliness. The jalapeños were very bland and seemed like they were not replaced on a daily basis.

WABA - Dizzle ! This isn't my first time at Waba Grill, but at this location yes. All i can say is the food is really good and its healthy what more can you ask for? They also let you substitute veggies instead of rice or you can get all broccoli. :) The location is cool, lunch seems a bit busy but you can fax or phone your order ahead of time. My fav. Dish: Chicken Veggies Brown Rice W/ Jalapenos

I had never heard of this place until I was brought to Waba Grill for some quick grub. Their presentation and menu is very similar to Flame Broiler, but probably with a bit more "umph" of flavors. The menu is pretty simple. You can have chicken, beef, seafood with white or brown rice. I ordered the half chicken and half beef bowl. It came garnished with green onions and some sauce. Add the Sriracha Chili Sauce that comes with on the dining table (it's not the rooster sauce, it's BETTER) and it's a good meal! My total came to $8 with a bottled drink. - 1 Star: This place can get busy and the table seating is super small!

I've ordered the chicken and vegetable bowl. Everything was fresh and perfect for diet food. I SHOULD be eating this 3 times a day! But I love fattening food HAH! But for the most part, food is delicious. If you want to be healthy I'd prefer substituting white rice for brown rice and no sauce.

Went here last minute because I needed a healthier alternative. I got the chicken bowl which is served with grilled chicken and veggies with brown rice. They topped it off with green onions, but next time i will let them know to go easy on it since they put so much. The teriyaki sauce was a little sweet for me taste but the Waba hot sauce is great and goes great with the chicken. All in all, food was ok and I will return.

Great place for fast & healthy food. I get a chicken & veggie bowl with brown rice, no sauce. It's really great if you're trying to be fit and healthy. About $6 for the bowl. The service is fast and the place is clean. It's pretty busy around lunch time.

This place cost more than flamebroiler but taste better too.Brown rice cost extra where at flamebroiler its no extra charge. The meats are definitely larger in size compare to flambroiler as well as the green onion!

I've been waiting and waiting to try this place. I went opening day to find it pretty tasty. it's a notch below flame broilers but for takeout/fast food, this place breaks the bank. with a soda, you're out almost 15 bucks a head... I'd rather eat at an actual restaurant.

Waited in line of a few people just before the mad lunch rush, ordered the usual Chicken T bowl and drink. Kinda expensive place just to eat a chicken bowl and soda. Went to sit down and our table was filthy with drops of soy sauce and grains of rice. The beef T does not look appetizing at all. I go back quite frequently for the chicken salad plate, which is pretty good!

Love this place. Option for brown rice in the bowls is great. Bowls are usually more than enough to eat. Salads are fresh & crispy. You can order via phone, fax, or on-line. Gets very busy @ lunchtime so don't plan on eating there especially on a Friday. Take your food to go. Even when it's busy, the line goes very fast. My favorite is the steak salad or half & half bowl w/veggies.

Bye bye Flame Brolier. This is my new favorite teriyaki bowl place. The portions are much bigger than flame broilers and the containers are really nice. I got the steak bowl and it was really good!! They also have a drive through window.
