******come on a week day **************** great price only 8.99 per adult for all you can eat salad bar, soup, pizza ,dessert and all you can drink they have great rooms all different themes and great pizza don't have what you want? place an order they will make it how ever you want !!and the games are so much fun and the prizes awesome I had tons of fun but do not come here on a weekend!!it gets super super packed and it is dirty hard to find some were to sit and just a mess...but I keep coming back on the weekdays. way better than chucks or shakeys thats for sure

im at John's Incredible Pizza. ill never come here again. plates are filthy - food isnt fresh - people trwating the place like trash - under staffed ...or... got greedy and wanted to let a crap load of people in. this place started nice when they opened - now its some dump. not a clean place to take your kid to eat - unless you're into that sort of thing.

This place is great for my kids. We've been here many times & they always have a blast. The buffet is pretty darn good, it blows away Chuckie Cheese's food big time. But i prefer the one token a play games at CEC.

I think I found Never Neverland. This is a kid's paradise and a parent's nightmare. Took my little brother and sister here to play games to kill time. Turns out if its your first time at John's Incredible Pizza you have to eat(ref to Fight Club). Bought 2 adult buffets and 2 kids buffets and game pack for 56 not including tip. Games- Good variety of games that actually work. Had problems with maybe 2-3 games not paying off tickets, but was able to get a nice worker to fix the issue. Rides- They had a spinning elevating teacup like ride and a boat swaying ride. Tried the teacup like ride and it was decent. Spent most the time chasing after my little brother who is apparently a wanderer/easy kidnap victim. Prizes were ok- got a suction cup ninja star, yoyo, parachute army dude, and small deck of mini cards. I think the value was probably negative. Games were priced reasonable and we played for a while. One issue I had was I could not find the coin machine! Eats- Kid friendly. Huge variety of pizza, pasta, and salad. I am not going to critique the food heavily because you don't come to these places to eat good. Will be back, think of it as a better Chuck E Cheese or D&B.

Ive been here on two occasions. First, a birthday party on memorial day weekend, the 2nd a junior high graduation night. A memorial day weekend was packed but we didnt have to wait long to play any of the games. The grad night, also packed but not nearly as insane as the memorial day weekend. Im assuming, regardless of when you go, the place will be crowded. The food was surprisingly delicious and fresh. Because its so busy, they are constantly making fresh food to keep up with everyones hunger. The food stations are a bit messy but thats expected when theres always a lot of people. Try the spicy peanut pizza but dont eat the peanut on top, its stale. Definitely eat their hot and fresh donuts. So delicious! This isnt my restaurant of choice but you do this for the family.

Great place to go if you want to get out the house with the kids. Read again, kids if not your own kids then ones that can truly appreciate a nice time. It's a little pricey depending on how many people that you have and the packages for the games that you want to purchase, especially because everyone that goes in there is required to pay for the buffet. But all in all the games are not that many points and you can play them over and over compared to having tokens and that's it. Also, you carry around a card with the points and they deduct the points, and this is shown as a balance every time you play the games. Also, the tickets that you have accumulated on the card the majority of the time instead of you having a lot of tickets. The service is very nice and the food is actually not bad considering it's an all you can eat pizza buffet. The rides are nice however they fail to tell you that if your kid is not of the height that's required then you have to ride with them... Most of the reasonable packages include just one ride. My son who is almost 4 wanted to get on a ride however, she said he can if I ride with him. Once giving her my card, she said that there was only 1 ride purchased and I didn't have points to ride on the ride so he was only left with one other ride to ride. He ended up having fun however they should have some time of height measurement in the front when purchasing additional rides or points so you know what the requirements are to be able to get on the rides with an indication of which of them will work. The only other issue was there were broken games that you wouldn't know were broken until after the points were deducted from your card. All in all it was a nice experience that I would go again. Even for a Friday it was workable and there was not as many people as you would think for the time of night we went.

I had a decent time here but my girls really liked it the food was only average there were some hit n miss items and some that tasted as if my 6 year old was in kitchen. According to my girls this place is better than that other place that has a rat for a mascot, the games were pretty fun but too many that where out of commission. Like the bowling game the ball return system was broken the attendant had to reach in and get them looked a bit ghetto they really need someone on top of repairing the broken ones. This place can get really packed so be prepaired for the stampede of kids.

Pizza, pasta, salad and dessert buffet. This is like an upgraded version of Chuck-e-Cheese. If I was a kid again, I would want my birthday here every year. Actually, I've only come here for kid birthdays, so this is what I'm judging it on. Although I find the bear slightly scary, the kids always seem to have fun with the games, the staff play with them, the birthday song, and the games they can play with the play card. Most of the games here are arcade games, so they could definitely improve their "win tickets" games so the kiddies can win more prizes. Yes, the food is of mediocre quality, but it's on par with other establishments of the same kind---like Chuck-e-Cheese and WAY better than Boomers food imo. And it's mostly pizza, so you can't really go wrong with that. They have fun variety of flavors from peanut pizza to mac-n-cheese pizza to chicken bbq pizza. It's just plain fun! Oh, and they randomly have a bar with beer and wine too. I guess it's for all the parents who start getting tired after a long play day.

The pizza: Made fresh, nonstop, with quality ingredients. Several varieties always available. If you would like a pizza that is not present, simply ask them and they will make your request, and it will be ready in 7 minutes. Pasta bar: Many types of pastas and multiple sauces to choose from. Potato bar: Baked or mashed potatoes with all toppings are ready to go. Great cheesy bread and breadsticks.are also offered. Soup: 2 soups are offered daily. 1 featured soup de jour, and the Pasta Fagioli that is available 7 days a week. Salad bar: Very fresh with a nice variety of vegetables and dressings and other offerings. Beverages: Coke products, (not cheap Pepsi) Icees, hot chocolate, coffee and cappuccinos. All you can drink for $1.79. Beer and wine are sold by the glass and always available. Desserts: Fresh baked cheesecake, red velvet cake, brownies, donuts (taste like funnel cake) cookies, ice creams and more. A very nice selection overall. Even the chocolate syrup is genuine Hershey's syrup. Overall thoughts on the food and buffet areas: John's doesn't cut corners or ever use cheap or inferior ingredients. Very impressive. BTW - Other Yelpers have complained about messy salad bar, messy floor, etc. Customers spill and drop and mess up this place nonstop... And I mean nonstop! The staff constantly goes around cleaning everything. It never ends. To insinuate this place is somehow dirty or poorly kept is beyond laughable. It is VERY well kept and cleaned, period. The dining areas: Several spectacularly themed dining rooms feature Disney channel, sports, music, cartoons, or just plain peace and quiet. Beautiful decor adorns all rooms. They're all quite different and all are very nice. There is essentially a dining room for everyone, no matter what you're looking for. This is one of the most unique features of this restaurant. They are all extremely well maintained. You really have to experience them for yourself. AAA+++ brilliance in design. The seating is also very comfortable in all rooms. The arcade: New, modern games. Many driving, racing and skill games. Lots and lots of ticket and prize games. Many QUALITY prize offerings. Hello Kitty, Nintendo 3DS consoles, games, RC toys, Razor Scooters and other cool name brand prizes.. They get new and different prizes often, so no matter how addicted you become, you will never get tired of the same old prizes (unlike Chuck E. Cheese or D&B) The staff works on and cleans these machines daily. Broken games were fixed either that same day I was there, or the very next day. Overall, this arcade is fantastic, very well kept and has great variety for the whole family. I give it a 9.7 out of 10. Very, very impressive overall. Rides: Well maintained and fun for all ages. The bumper cars and Twister are the most popular rides. There are rides for the little ones too. Mini Bowling: A nice addition that is somewhat popular and visually attractive. (I didn't try John's for years because of this. LOL) I personally find Chuck E Cheese's pizza to be very underwhelming. More like gross. I find their arcades to be mediocre and poorly maintained. The word "suck" immediately comes to mind. Also, the fact that Chuck E Cheese features cheap junk prizes and offer zero rides aren't helping their archaic business model either. Chuck E's dining areas have become more generic and uninspired over time. They don't even resemble the vision that founder Nolan Bushnell had so many years ago. Chuck E Cheese's 15 minutes of fame are SO over. To me, comparing John's Incredible Pizza with Chuck E Cheese is like comparing a new Ferrari to an old broken tricycle. Chuck E Cheese will never open a location next to a John's Incredible Pizza because John's Incredibear would crush that dirty little Chuck E. Rat dead. Dead I say!

Brought my friends daughter here for her early 3rd birthday. After reading all the bad reviews, I was skeptical about coming here, but boy we had a great time! Salad bar was fresh with many options and the pizza and pasta was decent. Spicy peanut butter pizza? Very creative! The games were really cheap compared to other game joints and there was a good variety of fun games. The bday girl had an awesome time and lots of laughs on the kiddie rides. Nothing beats a child smiling and laughing hard with joy!

This place rocks! I was invited with a friend to go here and living in LA it is a bit of a drive, but so worth it! If you have kids, and an appetite, this is the place to go! This place has every kind of pizza you can imagine, and they make them to order as well. I cant review the desserts since we got there late and they shut that down, but apparently they even have fresh made donuts. They have alot of place space and different eating rooms to choose from. Even though we went late there was still a good selection of pizza, salad, and pasta. The downside to this place is be prepared to spend alot on games, this is not like chuckee cheese where one coin buys a game. ANd the rooms where you eat need more attendants as they don't get bussed as fast as needed, and trying to find a clean table was a challenge, but it was on a friday night, and it was busy, so maybe that is why. I will definately go here again.

I took my daughter here on her 5th birthday, our first time at this place. It turned out to be actually great. On a Saturday midday, there was a large selection of pizza and food stuffs, good atmosphere and plenty of kids to make my daughter feel comfortable. The only drawback is, if you go on a Saturday adternoon, it does get extremely crowded. Group birthday parties, kids running amuck, parents putting their arms over your food as they reach for their food, etc. etc. My second time there on a weekday was way better. Way less crowded, but I assume because of less people, the food selection was kinda weak. I always seem to gravitate to the baked potatoes which I pile high with butter, sour cream and cheese, along with some pizza. True I can have that at home for practically free, but then again, I'm there for the kid. The games and rides are okay, but it seems like 1 out of 5 games always seems to be broken, or needs repeated swipes with your card to work, gets to be a pain in the butt but overall a welcome switch from Chucky's!

Well Well Well I go to the one in Montclair, and decided to jump in the car and take the whole fam to BP John's and was totally disappointed that I had to wait 1 hr in line, no parking (didn't know it was at a mall). It was so crowded, employee's weren't cleaning up like they do at Montclair location, well for that I will never go back to this one........I love there food, and everything else, but just the whole thought of driving 45 min to this one NEVER AGAIN

payed 200 dollars for my whole party to eat there..we were having a good time until a worker named robert accused my son and other's of stealing money off tables from tips..mind you my kids hadn't even went in those party rooms we were the only party in our party that sat in the cafe room which could see the entire play room.. he pissed me off he told them if they didn't return the money they would be kicked out..of course he denied all of that.. but 10 kids were all saying the same story that he said he was going to kick them out..what the hell are they going to steal tips for when they all had money and had not even went into different rooms,i told him check the cameras.. he didn't want to though..why.not?. ..i went to management..now going to corporate..people try to say what they want when kids aren't around,trying to intimidate them..my son was 11 that day and it was horrible for him ..johns pizza lost a'lot of customers for this there were 40 people for this party..should of went to chuck 'e'cheese

I'm gonna agree with the general consensus and give this place a solid three-star rating. Purchase of the buffet is required for admission which is $6.99 for adults on weekdays but I paid $9.49 on a Saturday night. It might have been the time that we arrived which was around 9pm, two hours before closing on a busy Saturday, but the place was an absolute mess. The food did not look appealing whatsoever and was not good. Not even mediocre as I stated in my Quick Tip. Presentation was poor. The plates and utensils were filthy so I would suggest bringing plastic ones or cleaning them off before you eat! I don't know how this place can have "incredible pizza" in its name when the pizza is far from incredible. The good things about this place are the separate themed dining rooms. There is plenty of seating and the dining rooms have fun themes to them including a cartoon room, a sports room, a cabin room and a couple of other ones I forgot. There is also a huge variety of arcade games which are bigger and better versions of the games you normally see. There are also mini bowling lanes, a little kid's play area, some laser thingy, and bumper cars. It's a cool place to bring kids and to have birthday parties. I wouldn't come here for the food though. Also, check online for some coupons. I used a coupon that gave me 10 free game credits with a purchase of the buffet.

I will never, NEVER, take my kids here on a weekend night again! We had to wait in an hour + long Disneyland in the summer time style line just to get in the door. It was crazzzzy! The food was scarce and looked picked over. I will say that the manager was pretty awesome which is why I am going to give it 3 stars because within five minutes of our getting out of that horrific line and going to the restroom, my daughter lost her fun card that I had just put 100 tokens on, and the manager replaced the card...it was very nice. My kids had a great time but definitely going to go during the day in the summertime at this location.

l love love this place. Gone twice in the past month and have to say its good both weekdays and weekends. Went on Sunday and yes it was busy but food was always fresh. Was able to find table for a large party of 10 even after we played and came back for more good. Adults loved it and of course the kids are planning another trip back. I'm never going back to chuck e cheese!

God awuful place to go eat, way too expensive for the food they offer i went and they only had about 4 types of pizzas out of about 20 that they supposedly offer and i would have been ok with that if it wasnt for the icee machine not working, the fact that every cup i got had pieces of food still stuck to them coffee was nearly undrinkable and the rest of the food was just bland. i kept trying to see the bright side to this place since i was so excited to go but it was just disappointment after disappointment. What saved this place from only getting 1 star was that the games were actually pretty fun. i took my younger siblings and they had a good time at the games, at least at those few that were working.

3 words: THEY HAVE COCKROACHES! I've been to John's Incredible Pizza at least 4 times before yesterday (President's day) and never had any complaints. For a kiddie place it's always been acceptable. My sister saw the whole thing and told me that this little girl (about 10 or 11) who was sitting in the corner booth right beside us was eating when this cockroach started walking down her arm. That's when my sister pointed it out to me and I saw this big ol' water roach walking up the wall. The manager was called and the little girl could not stop holding her arm in disgust. Then this other lady walked by our table and said that was the second one she saw! Needless, to say yesterday was the last time I'm ever going to go or take my family to this John's.

This place smells like toilet! We spent the whole time looking up to see if the plumbing was leaking! Plus, it seems like a decent buffet price until they add the entrance fee, card to play games, and fee for card to play games! Plus, many games deduct your points, but don't let you play! And over half of the ticket feeders were broken, so it took forever to get tickets counted! We ended up walking out with over half of our fun card unused just because we could not stand the smell anymore! Don't go here; Chuck E Cheese is better!!!

Don't waste your time and money. I really want to like this place, but it is just not that good. First off it is expensive for what you get. I went with my husband an son and it cost us $52 which includes the buffet, 1 ride, and some credits to play with, I give it one star for the icee's and the bumper cars because that is quite neat, but the rest is nothing special. The pizza is decent and they will make a new one right away at your request if they are out of a certain kind, but the rest of the buffet is just not good. As far as the games, that is where the disappointment really sets in. Four different games were broken (that I at least tried and we didn't even try them all) For each one I notified someone and they gave me credit back on my game card, which is good, but that's it. They didn't attempt to fix the game or put an out of order sign. If you know it doesn't work, why do you leave it there for the next sucker to hassle with? The place is just badly maintained and it sucked having to haggle with the games and the game card that never scans the first time around. Just avoid this place. Food is less than mediocre, and the games/maintenance suck.

This place is good for kids, the buffets are cool (I'm not a buffet guy but I did grab some pizza). The staff was friendly and the environment clean and well kept. My only complaint is that redeeming tickets for prizes took FOREVER! They needed more than one person operating that area and preferably someone who moves with some urgency when there is a long line.

Think Chuck E. Cheese, but double the square footage, and better games. We went on a Wednesday around 11:30. so the place was empty- no lines to get in and hardly and kids. My daughter and my little cousin played games, then when they ran out of credits on their fun cards, we ate. Here is why this place gets on star: 1. It's overpriced! 2.The pizza was gross...it tasted like it had been cooked the night before and put back out again. There was little variety, cheese, pepperoni and veggie. 3. Some of the games required like, 5 tokens...rip off! 4. The prizes were awful, my daughter had a hard time picking and that NEVER happens..... Best thing about this place was the variety of games, the small bowling alley and the Twister ride....oh and the themed rooms that you can eat in....

I would never go back again. Only went to celebrate a niece and nephew's birthday because their mother wanted to do it there. Food is really cheap, bland, low quality. They charge alot because it's "all you can eat." Sorry, I don't want all I can eat garbage food. Even though we had a reserved room for the party, it was still chaos at the buffet and around the games. The servers we had in the room were just window dressing, since they didn't provide any of the service that they said they would.

This place is expensive and not worth it at all. It's like a HomeTown Buffet with games. When I visited I went with my cousins. We just went to go eat and try their pizza. The pizza looked like they were left out over night and they didn't taste that great. I like how they have different themed rooms but thats it. I guess its a good place for little kids but other than that I wouldn't go back. Oh, and if you are thinking about visiting, just beware this place is extremely loud and there a bunch of little kids running around everywhere.

If you don't have kids but are invited to a kid's party, this isn't a bad place to be. The buffet had a good selection. Even though it's know for the pizzas, the garlic bread was really good. The kids seems to all have a good time. The place is big enough with enclosed private rooms. Nice. It's nice to have a selection of coffee to go with the desserts even if it's made via a machine and not press. My nephew and his friends had an excellent time so worthy of 4 stars even though I didn't play any games.

Renaming suggestion: John's Incredible Sea of People Ok, look I knew what I was getting myself in to. I mean, as a parent you sorta have to be ok with these types of places from time to time. However, I am certainly smarter, or at least thought I was smarter, than going on a rainy Saturday at noon. Yikes! The places was packed. So packed that we bounced from room to room trying to just even find a place to sit. Yes, this place is so big it has multiple themed dining rooms. Here is the deal, as I addressed above, as a parent you will undoubtedly get roped into one of these kinds of places and if all other things are equal, I would choose to go there again over Chuck E Cheese. At least, the food is passable. They are famous for their peanut butter pizza, which I sampled. It is a strange combo of Thai Chicken Pizza meets Pepperoni. I wasn't a fan. All in all though, the kids had fun and once I lowered my expectations of society, suddenly the people around me didn't bother me so much...

The food quality depends on when you get there. So far I've been there twice. The first time I went, I took my nephew and niece so didn't really get to enjoy a sit-down meal. So, food at that time was delicious. I really did love their variety of selection. Also, the coffee bar was so much needed for the parents/supervisors. The second time I went, it was with bunch of other college students. We picked this place because it was the one place we could think of that could accommodate about 30 people without reservations. Since, we were there solely for the food, I was able to taste and enjoy the food. However, the food wasn't at the best quality. I'm guessing it's because I didn't get the freshly made batch of food. Because it's a buffet style, it's a hit or miss. This time was sadly a miss. Still, the dessert section was satisfying and definitely the coffee pulled through for me again. The rides and games are pretty high in price. So, come prepared to cough up some good amount of money when you bring the little ones. They sure know how to use their points up really fast. I would say that the supervisor should be in charge of handling the points. The variety of attractions was really nice. Nothing was really broken. I only had to ask how to use the bowling alley. Everything else was in working order and self-explainable. I love the fact that you get a hand stamp at the end (optional) for re-entry. I never re-entered both times I was there, but to know that there is that option was nice.

This is a hard review to write. From the eyes of a 12 year old, this place rocks. I however wasn't a fan. Way too many unsupervised kids. A super dirty buffet line, the salad bar was beyond repair and pizza that wasn't that incredible. Don't even get me started on the bathroom. I did like how roomy this location was. Tons of arcade games spread out as well as bumper cars, bowling and a spinning roller coaster type ride. To sum it up...unless you have a ton of children that you want to get rid of for a few hours stay away from this place.

I wasn't sure if I was going to like this place but I planned to take my daughter for her birthday with a few friends. After a crazy night with a house full of girls I was ready to get to John's so they can run around and go crazy! I am not big on buffetts but they food was pretty decent and it wasn't too expensive. You can make special order pizzas but make sure you do it right away because at a certain point they stop taking orders. There is plenty of seating and the staff came around regularly to pick up dishes and clean tables. Now...to the games. The kids had so much fun! One of the girls lost her card on a ride and one of the staff members told me to go the the prize counter and they would replace the card as long as i had my reciept!! I was so glad ( I had been pretty pissed since she lost it right away $25.00 down the drain!!) The manger replaced it and was real nice about it! There are lots of games that give you a lot of tickets which is really great. I had the 3 girls pool their cards/tickets together and they ended up with 890 tickets each so they were able to get some decent prizes! I had a good experience overall and the girls did too! I would reccomend to any parent who wants to take the kids to have fun and it won't BREAK THE BANK!!

LOVED the spicy peanut pizza, the spicy marinara sauce for the pasta bar, the red velvet cake, the mini funnel cakes, the slurpee machine, the bread sticks were to die for, and the fact that this place is huge and open. Couldn't believe all the food they had, not to mention a really good salad bar!! One thing though, book your party in the morning. This place gets CRAZY BUSY at around noon on a weekend. Go early! This place is a kid's (and parent's) dream come true. I can't wait to go back.

The girl who rung me up didn't put the right amount of credits on the game card. If I hadn't asked for the balance, having done the math in my head, I never would have known. I wonder if this is a normal practice to rip people off, and they charge 25 cents for a new card. I had one already but I wasn't happy that their computers tried to rip me off, and not the people working. The pizza was delicious, but the pasta wasn't very good, and I tried 3 different kinds. It was a great place for entertaining the little ones, but the people working were rude when I told them that I won 100 tickets on a machine, which I did do, but it didn't give me the tickets. They didn't believe me so I lost out on the 100, and the card reader tells them if you won tickets or not, but not how many. It seems the girl was too lazy to actually research it but instead I tried not to let the overall service ruin my day and just went on to enjoy it. Great place, decent food and dessert, but bad service. Just a tip: It's very loud and people are rude on machines hogging them for a long time.

Empty tables sat dirty for over an hour & the buffet tables were not attended to when there were spills. It was busy but a lot of staff just sitting around & walking aimlessly...the staff member in our area didn't come around and clear tables for the hour + we were there. Horrible general staff but food was up to par!

This is a family place where your wild ones can be free and entertained by overpriced games that don't work half the time and eat food that's almost as bad as cardboard. Almost. But in the end is it really worth it ? Is it worth being crowded by little boogers who roam free, around you and into you non stop? Is it worth seeing the rugrats grab food with their hands at the buffet and laugh at their filthy food covered hand only to put their hand back in the food to do it again? Is it really worth it to have rude parents who lose all self respect and common courtesy that will push and shove you for the last slice of pizza even when they are bringing more in a few minutes-- a few seconds even?? No. NO. It isn't worth it! & Luckily since I was forced to go to this place for my boyfriend's nephew's birthday, I was able to enjoy all of this for 4 hours. FOUR *@#$!% HOURS. Seriously, the young'ins run around everywhere, the people are rude as hell, and the food hardly gets replaced and/or replenished quick enough so that little kid's hand print is still in the beef stroganoff. As for the fun games? There are none. You can try to bowl, but don't waste your time as the balls always get stuck in the back and you have to continuously run in the back to the get balls for the little ones. And then all the other games just suck. There is also hardly any staff that can actually assist you whenever you have an issue, question, and god forbid an emergency. The only reason why I'm giving this place 1 stars is this: The staff that I did some how magically find were actually pretty nice. One guy was able to give me an allergy list, and the other was the poor girl cleaning up after everyone that somehow still had a smile on her face by closing time. They are the only reason why this place is getting such a high rating-- and yes, a 1 is high for this place. Granted I can't rate any lower... but hey. So know this parents, if your child says: "Oh mommy!/daddy!! Let's go to John's incredible Pizza! Billy at school said it is fun!" .........They are lying to you and deserve a time out for lying to you. Lying is bad. Also, do not let your child be friends with Billy. He is a bad influence. John's SMELLED like 80,000 prepubescent kids did the P90X workout here. The bathrooms LOOKED like 80,000 prepubescent kids and 50 dirty adult males used it. My compulsions are totally crying inside. The whole venue SOUNDED like 80,000 kids and adults fighting over who gets to make what decision. Some of the parents didn't care whether their kids observed proper etiquette or appropriate niceties...too bad there's no filter or screening of patrons before admission. :/ I swear I thought I was watching a reality show about bad parenting...EVERYWHERE. The food TASTED like 80,000 flavors...but seriously, try to come up with that much and put em' together. That's what John's experimental pizza tastes like. I won't even tell you how certain counters and surfaces FELT... D; On a side note, two sets of brothers (as in siblings, not race...you racist) challenged my kid to air hockey. First he whoops the younger brother, then whips the older brother. Yep, Marcus 4, other people's kids 0. That's what you get for jumping in our games...etiquette lacking, socially inadequate, smelly kids.Unless I'm just blessed that my kid is THAT well behaved. :/ Well, my kid liked this place so I'll make the executive decision to make it a two star. But kids don't care, they're like honey badgers...

Came here with my little brother whose eight. The line to even get in was long and it was quite busy though that's to be expected as it was a Saturday night. Prices are very reasonable. The food was pretty tasty, too. They had a pretty vast variety of pizza toppings. They also offered pasta, salad bar, soup, baked potato. They have themed rooms to sit in while you eat. We sat in a sort of Tiki room, I don't remember the name of it. There were other rooms. A sport themed one called the hall of fame, one called cabin fever and others. There were little kiddie rides that my brother thoroughly enjoyed. I like this place, I like it better than Chuck E. Cheese. Next time we'll go earlier. The donuts were delicious! They tasted like mini funnel cakes. I was hoping they would offer sugar free desserts as I don't usually consume sugar, but they didn't and that sucked for me but I don't fault the company. They didn't advertise having sugar free alternatives so I felt that I couldn't judge them negatively for not offering sugar free items. The only real protein to salads were hard boiled egg which kind of sucked for me because my salad was my entire meal, so it would have been nice to be able to put chicken or some other hearty but light protein in my salad. This place isn't that great I you have dietary restrictions but then again most people don't go to a pizza buffet trying to find the healthy options! And again, I was here for my little brother.

The only reason that this place is getting 2 stars instead of 1 star was because their breadsticks were super fresh/soft and my daughter had a fabulous time for 3 hours straight. This place is expensive if you include play money/rides. Thank goodness I had bought three $12 Living Social Coupons last year that included the AYCE buffet and $15 of play money per coupon. The food was not bad for the cheap AYCE buffet. However, many of the selections that were listed were empty. Beef stew... not available. Macaroni cheese pizza...not available. Peanut Butter pizza....not available and on and on. If you want a selection, you will be lucky if they make a new pizza for you in 20 min. I was waiting for the Beef stew for 15min before I could get a worker to see what was going on. The worker said that the Beef stew would come out in 15min more. After 25min, still no Beef Stew. Then, after 30 min, they bring out tomato ravioli soup. Thanks a lot for making me wait for no reason. The staff could have told me from the beginning that there was no more Beef Stew. At least 3 different sets of Beef stew lovers (including myself) were waiting and waiting and waiting. Next, at least 8 games were not working (we were not the only family to have this problem either). So, I had to keep running around to find the "arcade game fixer" person to check if I needed a refund on my card. Also, sometimes, I would find a worker and ask if they could call the "arcade game fixer" person for me. Nope. I guess walkie-talkies and phones don't exist at John's Incredible Pizza Company. I wanted to spend time having fun with my kid instead of waiting around for staff to fix games/refund my card all night long. This place is a great idea. But these are major issues considering the price.

Came here Friday at 8pm for a birthday and by then there was already a line outside the doors. Took us about 35 mins to get to the register. You have to pay the buffet price even if your not gonna eat. When we got in finally, there were people everywhere. You couldn't tell from where the line is because the way the wall is curved. It was so crowded, messy, dirty. They had pizza (was ok), pasta (cheap) and salad. All the spoons were super greasy and food was all over the place. The floor was sticky. Soda machine area was extra sticky and people left used cups all over the counter, used napkins, bunch of trash. There was only one busser in our room and we could smell the pile of dishes he had in his cart. The games are like chuckie cheese, some are a little better. Everything's either really sticky or greasy. I don't want to come back. There way better places. The foods not great either. Made us all bloated. Two stars because my six year old had fun.

If you decide to go here, plan on going when they open, less people, more food. Pizza is nicely portioned, and they have a nice variety, and custom made-to-order. Salad bar is nice and clean, fresh veggies and nice selection. Pastas are a hit-or-miss. Desserts are awesome! A wide variety of games, ticket or just arcade. The prizes are actully alot better then Chuck E.Cheeses, but im too old for them,haha. They do have the Terminator shooter, and thats always fun. Kinda expensive to play if you plan on staying for awhile. Lastly, leave when the crowds show up, they come in waves and the place gets smelly, crowded and noisey. We only come here for the kids b-days. In the past, it's been ok. This time: 1. Dirty dishes in the clean piles 2. Numerous games not working 3. Bowling had only 2 of the 6 lanes working when mid game, the balls stopped returning. However, an attendant gave us the credits back on the card. He also acknowledged the many game not working. I don't remember who told me this was an adult version of Chuck E Cheese's, but that is clearly not the case. I was expecting more of a D&B-look and feel; what I got was Chuck E Cheese's on steroids with worse food. My friends and I went to John's to watch the Heat/Bulls game yesterday because none of us had ever been there and the wait at BWW was too long. The line was about 20 people deep, but it moved fairly quickly. One of our friends actually left because he had already eaten and we didn't know you had to pay for the meal up front in order to get in the restaurant, so keep that in mind if someone in your party isn't planning on eating. One other thing you should know: when the lady was marking off our receipts prior to entering the restaurant, I noticed she wrote the time that we were walking in and also the time two hours from then. Apparently you can only stay two hours, which normally wouldn't be a problem, but if you're there to watch a game, that simply won't do. I'm not sure how strictly they enforce the time limit, but I figure it's worth mentioning. To put it simply, the place is a ZOO. There seemed to be about 13 kids per adult, all running around aimlessly... and that was in the food area. I never even made it into the arcade room, so I don't know how much worse it was in there. I'm imagining kids jumping like monkeys from pinball machine to pinball machine, eating and making a mess like lions eating carcass and laughing hysterically like hyenas. A zoo I tell you. There are a handful of different dining rooms, all with different themes. I only glanced in a couple of them as I walked to the one that was showing the game. That room was a decent size, but finding an open table was an adventure in itself. If you plan on watching a high-profile game, you better get there early. As far as the food is concerned, it was about as tasteless as they come. Of course I wasn't expecting anything gourmet, but this place is obviously geared towards kids and their (inexperienced) taste buds. The pizzas were worse than the ones they served at my junior high school and the pastas were frozen dinner-quality. If 5 year olds knew how to Yelp, I'm sure this place would have a 4 or 5 star rating. Honestly, if I HAD to choose between John's and CEC, I'd choose the latter. I went as an adult years ago and was surprised at how good their pizzas were. Otherwise, I'd rather go to a friend's house and watch the game there. As Brian B said, I wouldn't go here even when I have kids.

Never knew this place existed until my boyfriend took me here a few weeks ago. He told me it was a upscale version of Chuck E. Cheese so I wasn't expecting much. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. First off this is a great place to have a kid's birthday---it blows Chuck E. Cheese out of the water. You have different rooms you can eat in and I think it's kind of fun. The salad bar is great and you wouldn't think that the pizza would be so good. OMG. Delicious. They also have pasta, dessert and other food but that didn't look so appetizing to me. I'm only there for the pizza and salad, baby. My boyfriend and I only come here for the food. We have no interest in the games, but that side of the place looks great for families.

3.5 stars. This place would be awesome if it wasn't for all of the crotch critters running around. No... really... I did just say that. I guess you can tell I don't have kids. But I do have little cousins. And when hubs and I decided to take them out for a night, we decided to go to JIP because I kept hearing that this place was Chuck E. Cheese on steroids. If you have kids, you'll be used to the high energy of John's Incredible Pizza. They have several dining rooms with various themes which is cool for the kids. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the pizza. I was expecting something along the lines of Little Caesar's Fail, but the variety made me happy. There were something like 9 different pizzas when I went. In addition to that, there was pasta and salad. And they had a nice little spread of desserts. All in all, the easiest part of our trip to JIP was the food. Hanging out with a 3 year-old and an 8 year-old in the games section was... trying. Could be that I don't have kids so I'm not used to the indecision that comes with whether or not a game is going to be played after waiting in the line to get to the front. Also, maybe I'm showing my age, but there were times I would swipe my card and it appeared that credits were being deducted and nothing was happening. When I called an employee for assistance, they told me that I was probably doing it wrong, and then proceeded to do exactly what I had done. Who knows?! These darn whippersnappers! Anyhow, I think this is a pretty good spot to take kids. I saw a few birthday parties there, but unless you get a loaded .22 with the reservation to shoot yourself for having the stupid idea of taking a large group of children to this place, I don't see that as being a good idea.

Taste - 3 Salad bar, pasta bar, pizza, bar, and dessert bar. It's all buffet style - so get in line and get yo' food! Experience - 3 Fun for families with little kids. It's food, arcade games, and a few rides. Environment - 3 Place has about 5-6 themed eating areas. There's usually room, so enjoy hopping from one to the other if you like. Service - 3 Food clean up is done by a busser. So they might come over and take your old plates, or they'll clean it up once you leave. Other than that, everything is pretty much self-serving. Price - 3 It's fine for food and games. You'll probably end up buying more tokens if want to actually play. Location - 3 Located at the Buena Park Mall, the place takes a lot of space on the "first floor". You can look down into the gaming area from the second floor of the mall. Parking isn't an issue.

Food, 2-3 stars.... Not incredible, ironically enough... Games... good variety, and I would come here over Chuck E. Cheese any day. I really enjoyed the bumper tube/cars. I was the only adult, but I am sure that I had as much fun as my bf's daughter and the other kids. This place is a mad house, people and children walking around back and forth to the food and games, and their tables. If you don't mind the craziness, then this place is a good spot for you and the fam... (with kids of course).

I was here for a field trip with my students and was pretty excited to come here because the kids hyped it up. I'm never listening to these kids again. When we first arrived the staff was actually yelling and us and it felt really disrespectful. We made our own pizzas and were directed towards the buffet. The foood was ehhh. Nothing to exciting. There were a great amount of choice though. The games were okay but I often found myself bored and wondering what I should do next. They need to fix some of their machines though. I won 20 tickets at one machine but 1000 tickets came out. Thank you. Also one of my students found a loophole with the ticket counting machine. You guys should have staff walk by there often He ended up with a suspicious amount of tickets.

This place is disgusting. The employees are ghetto and rude. Ride operators watched my 3 yr old daughter cry because she was terrified without stopping the ride so they could socialize, ticket redemption girl behind the counter threw the ticket card down at me along with a ball in my 7 yr old sons face. The manager was not compassionate and the overall experience at this shit hole was horrible, to say the least. Its just a cesspool of lowlifes everywhere and I don't even know why I'm surprised..its Buena park.

The things kids get these days xp I think what I love most about this place is that you get all you can eat pizza. I disagree with some saying there's no variety to the pizza. I've never knew there was such thing as buffalo chicken pizza and alfredo pizza. Both are very good! The salad bar is very nice and if you don't like pizza, there's pasta dishes such as spaghetti and fetticini alfredo available for you. There's a nice dessert bar that includes fresh cookies, doughnuts, etc. The dining rooms are semi-quiet. Although there's alot of space in the building, it still gets crowded very easily during summers and weekends. The employees work very hard keeping the place together while dealing with the madness of hundreds of screaming kids (and sometimes) screaming adults. I give them huge props for this because I'm not someone who likes kids that much. They are able to maintain a good attitude in the midst of the crowd and noise that's to be expected at any kids arcade. I love the pizza and the families (young and old) seem to have a good time regardless of the noise and crowd.

John's Inedible Pizza Company is somewhere I hope never to go to again. I was forced into going for a birthday event, for a 28 year old... Really? What 28 year old wants to go to this crap version of Chuck E Cheese? So I tried most of the offerings and practically everything sucked. I started with the ravioli soup, which tasted like Chef Boyardee canned food. Everything else was pretty much as bad. As far as the pizzas go, I would rather eat any kind of other pizza... Costco, Little Caesars, even microwave pizza would be be better. Loud annoying place with wild children everywhere. I think when I have children this is a place I would still avoid.

Then he says maybe we should go somewhere else. WTF???? Then we get shoved by the stupidest group of rowdy 14 year olds ever. Then TM thinks that we should leave before we go to jail for some sort of altercation with minors. As we walked away, I was like, what the HELL just happened??? What the hell was that place????? And WHERE is my yummity yum yum pizza I was craving?? ??? !!!!!!!! ??? I still don't know happened or what this place is about, but I'm surely not going back.

endless pizza? hell ya! salads that are tasty? for sure!!! this place has wonderful food, and a reasonable price. the gaming section is really cool. and there are large amounts of seating areas with different themes. the one thing to note, avoid this place if you are a racist. most people now what i'm talking about if you happen to come here. for those that don't. this place has more black people then a KFC in Compton.

Took my daughter and her friends to this place she had just turned 11. She loved it. Tons of food , fun rides kept the kids busy for hours while the adults could enjoy a beer and watch the games on the big screen. We did spend a lot of money but it was hours of entertainment. I will be back.

My first impression was, "Whoa, this place is heaven for an energetic little kid!" Chad A. described it perfectly. "What would you get if Chuck E Cheese and Dave & Buster's were to have a kid? Why this place." It's a great place to take your kids to eat, play games, and spend a day in bliss. But John's Incredible Pizza Company didn't forget to make accommodations for the older kids (ie the dads, moms, older brothers and sisters, uncles, aunts, whatever). They actually have some decent buffet-style food with many options of soups and a salad bar, pastas, pizzas, and pretty much all other types of buffet-style American food. The food isn't spectacular, but if I was a kid it'd be everything I would want. Unlimited pizza, nachos, and spaghetti? Heck yes! My favorite thing about this place is that you can take your kids, or younger siblings here and let them loose without having to feel like you have to babysit them. They have a great variety of arcade games, and don't be surprised if you find yourself getting into it a little too much more than the kids. There are different dining rooms you can choose from from cartoon town, hall of fame, Hawaiian, etc. Every room is fully themed, and it really adds the fun to eating there just as much as it is fun to play games. The next time you're opting to take the kids to Chuck-E-Cheese, do something different and try John's. It's a charming playground for both kids ages 9 to 99. The lasting impression? "I think it's the best thing that happened to poor, lifeless Buena Park Downtown!"

My cousins LOVE this place like no other and I'm happy that we found a better alternative to Chuck E. Cheese. Always bragged about where they're going for their birthdays. It's located in a crap hole mall, bottom floor. You have to buy a buffet pass to get in no matter what. They have lots of rooms but the only room that ever catches a kid's interest is the Toon Theater. Can't really blame them. Cartoons! Food: What do you except when they charge you $10 a person? The Wynn Buffet? LOL! Pizza is bland and starchy. Pasta isn't terrible at all. I'd actually prefer it. Salad bar, well, you can't really screw that up. Dessert bar wasn't bad. Caters to every kid's dream. frozen yogurt. Donuts. Chocolate cake. Apple crisp. Games: Way better than Chuck E. Cheeses. Much more variety. Something for every kid at any age. Big playground. Nasty as can be though. I found an old piece of pizza at one of the games. Really now? And the prices are a lil much for games. Not really worth it. Rides: There's only 3 rides. What can I say about just 3 rides? Staff: Nonexistent on the arcade floor unless that bear is there shuffling. Delinquent teenagers if you ask me. The staff at the buffets are much more helpful. I would give this place 3.5ish. Maybe. But yelp doesn't do that. =]

I don't usually write "bad" reviews, but I felt that the three things that stood out the most during our visit should be addressed. 1.) Lack of safety. It seemed as though there wasn't much going on to prevent child endangerment/abduction. If you're a lone adult with more than two children in your care, keeping an eye on them can get a little sketchy. A child check-in/check-out, similar to what Chuck E Cheese has in place, would be comforting. 2.) Wet trays and plates. I'm not one to be grossed out easily, but knowing water harbors bacteria and having to go through four or five wet trays before resorting to grabbing a stack of napkins and drying one yourself can put a little damper on the dining experience. (My brother put aside three forks before finding a clean one.) 3.) Military discount. I asked the host if there was one, she said yes; however, she only discounted my meal. Last I checked, my children have little military-dependent bellies that were being fed, too. Hmm.... it seemed a little suspicious, so once we were home I checked the company website. Taken from their site: "John's Military Discount Policy: All active military service members and their spouse and children receive 10% off their buffet & beverage purchase with valid Military ID Card (tan, red or white)." Bummer for me. Burn on you, host person. All that aside, the food was decent. We got there at 11:30 in the morning, so all the pizza wasn't out, but what was out did the job. (Remember it's a $10 pizza buffet, not the Bellagio, keep your food expectations in line.) The doughnuts were a hit as was the BBQ chicken pizza. In conclusion, while we won't be back to visit this location, we have not written off John's Incredible Pizza off entirely.

I had my daughter's 3rd birthday party here and she had a great time. I rented out one of the party rooms and that was alright... It might not have really been necessary. They do provide a centerpiece and that was cute... They also have the kids play a few games but I don't think the area is big enough for them to actually enjoy it and they are so anxious to go run and get tickets that they don't pay too much attention... One thing that I did like is that they had John the bear come out and take pictures with the kids, that was perfect. Overall I'm glad I had her party here all the kids had so much fun and that's what its all about really. The food is good, I mean it isn't five star quality or anything but I wasn't really expecting that. I was in the buffet tearing it uup I won't lie (I ate a lot). I don't think I'll have another party here but I will go again.

This place is getting worse and worse. We went in last week (wednesday) there was NO pizza! We had to wait to have pizza at a pizza place! The utensils are dirty and the drink area was full of dirty cups! It will be a while before we return there. Go in the morning when there are less people there.

We met our college friends and had a good time. My kids really enjoyed this place and I thought it was pretty cool. The highlight of the night, for my kids, was the bowling. The alley had bumpers and the bowling balls are kids size. Almost like a little canon. The food was not bad. I did not have high expectations for the food, so I was not disappointed. The pizza selection is unique. The usual toppings, veggie, pepperoni and Hawaiian pizza. The not so usual Macaroni & Cheese, BBQ Chicken Ranch, Garlic Pesto, Fiesta (like a bean burrito), and the Peanut Butter Pizza. The slices are small so you can take a bite of each one. I liked the Macaroni & Cheese and Garlic Pesto. I was impressed by the salad, not bad John's Incredible Pizza! The dessert was pretty cool, ice cream and little doughnuts. I can't believe the wine selection at this place is good. They have Robert Mondavi wines. They have three the Zinfandel, Chardonnay and a Merlot. That alone impressed me about this place. They have different rooms to eat in. We ate at the room which was playing old cartoons on Boomerang. It was pretty awesome watching old Johnny Quest cartoons while having a pizza with my three boys and old friends. One bit of advice, if you can get coupons get them. Hold on to your kids because the older kids don't care much for the little ones and do not ask for a balloon. They charged my friends $0.45 for a balloon. REALLY? Come on John's Incredible Pizza.

You can't beat the price of the food, and it's pretty good, but you end up paying for it with the overpriced games. A lot of times they have really good deals on holidays (Halloween, Christmas, Easter, etc) like for $5 get a buffet, drink, and 5 dollar game card, seriously can't beat that. $3.25 (may have been $3.50, but still...) for a mug of Fat Tire. Where do u get Fat Tire for $3.25? I was just in Venice beach and crappy Bud Light in a bottle was $4 bucks. Eww Bud. I've been to the Montclair and Fresno locations. The Buena Park location is my favorite one. It's located on the bottom floor of the mall. When I say bottom floor, I mean JIPC is the bottom floor. The place is huge! It's like D& B for little kids, but it has adults in mind. The beer and wine are all reasonably priced just like the food. The pizza: My favorite is the spicy peanut butter pizza. It has peanut butter for sauce. Pepperoni and sausage. I love it! If I were to eat something for a month, I would do this pizza. Other notables are the Nacho Cheese, Garlic Pesto, and Cheeseburger. The rest are the norm, which I also enjoy occasionally. For dessert: Get the minidoughnuts. They are made of funnel cake. I like to put them on the bottom of a bowl and put some soft serve ice cream on top. Delicious. Note: If they run out of what pizza you like or anything else like the pasta, just ask and they will make you some fresh for you. (all the pizzas really do taste like they sound. It's magical. Now if they could make a dessert pizza I would be all up in that) I finally have a JIPC in the OC! Try it out. It's cheap to eat and it may surprise you.

Average. The place is large and probably great for kids if I had any. It's like a mega Chuck E Cheese with better food. It's not too expensive if you swing by for lunch. My favorite part about this place is being able to request any sort of pizza you want. Ask for macaroni and cheese, meats, whatever. They'll call your name out in about 15 minutes when it's out nice and fresh, too. They have different themed rooms which makes it a fun place to stop by and explore if you bring your appetite and some time to kill.

I just had my daughter's 4th birthday party here. I had never been to John's Incredible Pizza before and honestly the place was not bad at all. The overall experience was nice. They had a big selection of pizza, pasta, salad and dessert. The kids and the adults too had allot of fun in the game area. I will visit again!

The problem with a lot of these PIZZA buffets is that the pizza is mediocre at best. This is the case with John's. These pizza buffets need to focus more on quality rather than quantity. This fact also applies to the rest of the food as well. The pasta is okay. The dessert is okay. It is cool that they will take requests and will customize a pizza according to your preferences. I ordered one and it was halfway decent. It might've been cause I ate it once it came out of the oven rather than after it had been sitting under a heat lamp for 45 minutes. I didn't spend any time in the area with all the games and stuff so I can't really comment, but if it's anything like the food, then it's probably nothing spectacular.

Went here for a birthday party. Think of this place as a Chuck E Cheese on steroids. The pizza and other dishes are nothing memorable; the breadsticks somewhat make up for the mediocre experience. I'm not asking for gourmet pizza here but I'd like to at least eat something that isn't reminiscent of something served up in a school cafeteria. The interesting combos might be appealing for kids; I chose to stay away from them. If you're adventurous though, by all means knock yourself out. This place gets ridiculously crowded. If you're claustrophobic, tread elsewhere. Consequently, the workers rush to "clean" plates, glasses, and silverware which will require you to examine them for traces of someone else's leftovers. For kids, this place is heaven. For parents, it's an absolute nightmare if you have to keep track of several kids or want to navigate between the buffet area and your eating area and keep your food intact (watch for lots of running kids along the way). Suggestion: Rename this place to something other than "Incredible Pizza" because the pizza does not live up to the name and - let's face it - people go here for the games and parties. Don't expect much and try to enjoy yourself (as a parent).

I am giving this location a 4 rating because this is a much cheaper substitute than Knotts Berry Farm or even Disneyland. I have noticed that a lot of adults are giving this place a low rating because they expect an adult experience. That's sort of like going to Chuck E Cheese and expecting awesome pizza. At any rate, the food was plentiful and I can understand how busy this place can get, my 3 year old really loved this place and enjoyed herself. Isn't that what really counts? Would I go back? Of course I would, not for me but for my daughter. Besides, I'm a kid at heart so get to play some of those games myself.

I used to LOVE this place when it first openned! I think over time, the quality of the pizzas aren't as great, but overall, it's still a very awesome experience that I think everyone should try at least once. Unlimitted-All you can eat pizza buffet & more! They have a large variety of popular pizza cominations, but you can also do your own request of your favorite pizza! They'll make it for you and when ready they will announce it. They also have ready-made Pastas, (Even some you can put your own favorite sauces on like Marinara & or Alfredo), salads, oven baked Cinnamon buns, oven baked cookies, brownies, frozen yogurt machine...OH AND their VERY OWN DONUT MACHINE. lol (You can see it popping out in the machine and gets flipped on it's own. Pretty snazzy i'd say.) There are several different themed rooms that you may go to sit down & eat! They've got a cartoon room, Hall of Fame (sports center), Surf room, Cabin room, and lastly I forget the name of it, but it has modern music & music videos playing on tv screens) Not only that but the other half of the place is a big ARCADE ROOM like that of Dave & Busters. I think they also have a mini bowling alley, go carts, and small Carnival ride. Yup...All in one place. Great for kid parties!

Been to John's many times. Actually enjoyed the place, food and games. That all changed on my last visit! Saw cockroaches all around Cabin Fever room and when I went to speak to the manager he said he was aware but was now thinking of closing the room. Some people took picture and left, but the ones that were not aware stayed around. A sign was put up saying the room was closed for private function only because they did not want to let the other people know, so they remained in there. It was disgusting! Figured if roaches are out and about on the rooms they're having they're own private party in the kitchen and buffet area. Will not visit again!!!! 1 star because I cannot rate in negative!!

The concept of this place is okay, food is not terrible, but the customer service is absolutely awful. Even after speaking with 2 managers, they just repeat policy like robots until you walk away disappointed. The recording while on hold brags about their well trained staff that is suppose to make sure you have an "incredible" time while you are. They are cold and unfriendly. They are trained horribly, and don't know creative ways to satisfy a customer with the promotions they have. I went for my nieces party and to meet my wife and kids for a fun time. I entered through the party room entrance, because they rented a room. I came about 30 min late, and I guess the tab was closed out so they asked me to pay. I told them I was just here to be with my family and play games with my kids, and that it shouldn't be a big deal because I usually spend about $50 in games while i'm here anyhow. They said I had to pay for the buffet to enter. I asked for a manager, got the same answer. And a 2nd manager, got the same answer. I guess they weren't trained very well because below should have been the correct way to handle it. What they should have done was offer me the Game card package which would have been $2 more then the buffet and I would have received 2 rides, 60 credits for the games, and 50 redemption tickets. That would have been fair to pay for since I clearly said I was her just to play games, and I was going to pay $50 in games anyway. At least I would have got some extra value for the entrance fee. Instead what I got was a programed response, like robots, that I had to pay for the buffet to come in. It was clear to both managers that I was here for the party, yet they keep referring to the non-party pricing wall as if I was a regular customer. The pricing packages are different at the party door then at the regular door, and they didn't offer me a thing or come up with a creative solution to make me happy like offering me that game card package. I had to leave my wife with our 3 kids alone at the party, which anyone who has 3 kids knows thats rough, and walk out disappointed. Not to mention how my kids felt about me leaving. Thanks John's incredible pizza for not training your employees on how to handle customer services situations. You disappointed a father, mother and three young kids this evening.

Halloween night will stick in the minds of all the workers at John's. They had offered a coupon for the buffet, it worked. Really well. Some of the workers had been there since 8:30 a.m.. There was a personal favorite of mine at the desert station. She hafd been there since 10:00 am. To watch her work w/o a wasted movement and no visible sign there was pressure that night. What a trooper. Some of the bus staff was losing steam around 7:00, but, who could blame them. Hats off to John's workers, if the food can keep coming and taste good and most everyone act as if nothing was wrong. Hats off.

This place is the wannabe Dave & Buster's for little kids... and by little, I mean LITTLE. Like 5-10 little. Food - The food was not warm at all, possibly even cool / room temperature for a lot of pizzas / mac n cheese etc. I assumed this was so the kids don't complain if they were to burn their lips/tongues from gorging food so fast since they probably want to hit the arcade. Some of my microwaved frozen dinners taste better than what they have here. Arcade / Games - Like I said, wannabe Dave & Buster's. They have some similar games, but for some reason the atmosphere / "fun"ness level here is just so much lower than at Dave & Buster's (could be biased, because I have been a hardcore Dave & Buster's fanatic -- it's what got me through college). A lot of the games were broken in some way, shape, or form. The ones that worked, were surrounded by little kids taking up all the space (yeah, you'd be surprised how these tiny little beings can take up SO MUCH SPACE -__-). So, if you are anywhere over 10 years old, I'm not sure you'd enjoy this place. Two stars for being a nice place to take obnoxious kiddies when you are tired of babysitting at home. Trust me, they will NOT bother you at all if you just drop them off here; they'll just contribute to breaking some more games -- except you might have some trouble finding them afterwards o_O

Opposed to the Endless Food and Pizza Place in Huntington Beach; this place is bomb. The food here is somewhat adequate, nothing too complicated, just simple American cuisine. The bare essential, frenchy fries, pizza and sweets. Not only does this place appeals to young children, it also appeals the older generations, including myself (a teenager). They have arcade games ranging that highly appeal to myself and my little brothers (twelve and seven). So we always really had a blast here. I was pretty pissed off though that Buena Park decided to take the food court out down there and put just one giant pizza place. It made me pretty upset, but at least it was a good investment. Since I went there the day it first opened, it's always been teeming with people and not one time have I seen that place barren. Overall, John's Incredible Pizza Co. is really nice and fairly adequate.

Johns Incredible Pizza Company, first off I gotta thank Groupon for having an awesome deal to here. If it wasn't for you I dont think I would have ever tried it! It was a combination of both Groupon and Yelp, it was all like this: Groupon posts deal for this place, I say "dang thats a good deal", I look up on yelp and check out the reviews, saw some good reviews and I bought it! Being located at the buena park mall, the moment the girlfriend and I walked into the doors of this place, you are faced with a long hall way, that leads to a staircase or escalator that goes down stairs, and thats when you actually get to go into the Restaurant. We were both greeted by many of the employees which was a good start. For both of us we got the free admission, plus a 25 dollar game card, but we added a large mug of blue moon and I also decided on buying the vip card haha! When you first get past the cash register, you are viewing a huge place, a big big big plus was that Johns Incredible Pizza Company, has I believe 5 different area's you can sit in. Meaning depending on what you want to sit in, they had riptide which was like a beach theme seating, cabin fever which was pretty self explanatory, toon theater which was pretty much for kids and was I believe the bigger room, had a lot of cartoon icons on the wall, two big screens that showed cartoons all day, Hall of fame which is where we sat at, but its filled with a lot of picture frames of sport legends and what not, with a lot of tv's scattered around the room, and two giant projection screens in the room too. There was another room but it was blocked off for a private party, so we couldnt see how the room looked like. I loved that they had 4 different stations, well more like 4.5, the first one you see is the salad bar, which had a variety of different things you can put onto your salad, they also had different cold pasta's and what not. The second was the pasta and potato station, which had different kind of pasta's, mac n cheese, giant potato, as well as noodles and different sauces you can place on top of it. Third was the pizza station, the cool thing was on the left side was just regular pizza like your pepperoni, cheese, ham and pineapple, vege, supreme and what not. Then the right side had the specialty pizza like the alfredo pizza, buffalo chicken pizza, bbq chicken pizza, garlic pesto pizza, mac n cheese pizza and the most WHOA outta all of them was the spicy peanut butter pizza. Fourth was the dessert station which had fudge brownie, cheese cake, chocolate chip cookies, cinnamon roll, ice cream and the best thing in my opinion out of the desserts was the donut! The food was pretty good, the spicy peanut butter was way different, it had a huge kick of spice! and you can totally taste the peanut butter! I ended up finishing my slice and taking one last bite of my girlfriends slice. The best pizza slice there in my opinion was the BBQ Chicken Pizza, it had just the right amount of bbq sauce, and really small slices of chicken, so each bite you got best of both worlds. The pasta and what not wasn't anything great, so really just come for your fill on the pizza! For dessert make sure just to fill your plate with the chocolate chip cookie, and well a crap load of the donuts. Really its not even donuts, its like a bite sized funnel cake!! Seriously it is bomb.com !! There is usually a guy working behind the counter, so don't forget to ask him to put extra powdered sugar on your donuts, cause seriously its heaven! The chocolate chip reminded me of a chips a hoy cookie that couldnt make up its mind on being chewy or crunchy, I didn't mind because that made the cookie delicious! After you eat they have a big area filled with some games, but mainly a lot of ticket dispensing games. My only recommendations for this place would be to create a place for arcade games, for the higher age people like myself, dont get me wrong I love ticket games, but that can only go so far. I think they would attract a lot more people with a different selection of games. They also have two rides there, one big thing called I believe the twister, and then a small kid ride which looked like a giant red air plane that goes up and down. I came here because of a family birthday for my little niece. So I thought it was going to be like chuck E cheese's. Boy was I wrong! Not only did I find a buffet that had very decent food (multiple creative pizzas, salad, pastas, desert bar) but there was an entire gaming room that was massive! In addition the dining rooms had their own themes, which was very cool. John's incredible pizza, you totally took me by surprise and I would actually like to come back, we had a great time.

This is a fun place for kids, a lot like Chuck E Cheese. It has rides, games and even a mini bowling alley in the back. Buy tokens and earn tickets to get prizes. There is pizza, pasta, salads and a few other misc foods that are average. The salads and pizza are OK but the pastas are usually kinda gross, like they've been sitting out all day.. which they usually have been. I like the Alfredo pizza the best and the regular flavors are quite good, they even take requests and will make a pizza gluten free if you bring in the dough. My only complaint is that since it's a buffet, you cannot go in unless you buy food (about $8-$13 for adults). I come here with a client who has autism and they had no leniency for position as his behavior therapist. I was still required to pay. This is technically illegal discrimination against individuals with disabilities, but we would have to push it and file a complaint. The family decided it wasnt worth going anymore. John's lost a LOT of good business from this family. Overall, not pleased.

Yipes! If you are used to Chuck-E-Cheese, get ready for your jaw to hit the floor ... John's is a hit. Remember, we're using Chuck-E as the comparable here. Parking is a breeze, the place is HUGE, and I have got to say that the food (it's all-u-can-eat) is really good. Pizza (like ten different kinds), pasta and desserts. In addition to earn-tickets-for-prizes machines, there are actual rides that aren't half-bad. As for the crowd, well, there are a number of 30-something ladies being called "grandma" by their charges, but it's all good. Goodbye Chuck E, hello to a long drive to Buena Park. I did their $25 package (tokens plus 2 rides) for which lasted us a little more than 90 minutes. Get your kid to chill in the cartoon room, and you are good for several hours. Bring your appetite!

As for the food, there is a variety of interesting pizzas, including mac n' cheese and spicy peanut butter. While it was fun getting to try different types of pizza, the pizzas were dry. What IS good about this place is the different rooms you can choose to sit in, and the stroganoff pasta :)

You remember when you were a child and in cartoons they showed glorious kiddy places with crazy decor and tons of games to boot? This is it! It has come to life! I heard about this new place opening from the OC Register, and my boyfriend and I decided to come here. When we got there, we were pretty confused as to how to get down to the bottom floor. There are openings on the 1st floor, where you can peak down to see the place. When I saw this, I knew it was going to be AWESOME!!! When my boyfriend and I finally found the entrance, we paid the $10.49 (all-you-can-eat on the weekends, including drink) and a $14.99 fun card (with .25 cent fee for card) so we can indulge in the arcade. We walked around to the different themed dining areas and chose Toon Time. They were conveniently playing Scooby Doo, which was a favorite in my infancy. They later played WB cartoons, like Bugs Bunny and Porky Pig. After placing down our receipt, we go off and eat to our hearts desire! They have small and narrow plates, which is great for portion control! But you're at a buffet, why the hell do you want to do that?! Food I tried: Salad bar: They have multiple pasta salads and where you can make your own salad. I like this option here better than CiCi's, where they pre-toss everything. I could taste that the vegetables were fresh, which was definitely a plus. The pasta salad with less frills (dressing-wise anyways) was my favorite. Garlic bread: They could be better. I guess I'm just a snob because the CiCi's one is delicious. Pastas: I tried just about everyone of them. They're pretty standard I would say, but I do enjoy the cream-based sauces (pesto, marinara, etc). Mac and cheese was pretty awesome as well. Pizzas: Just FYI, I did not dare touch the "famous" Spicy Peanut Butter pizza. - Mac and cheese pizza wasn't as heavy as I thought it would be, but it was missing some seasoning. - Cheese pizza was awesome! I thought it tasted good. - Margherita pizza was eh, but maybe that's because I make it the "traditional" style at home all the time. - Hawaiian: Pretty standard, but good. Desserts: - The automatic donut maker is awesome! Fresh donuts coming out all the time. The taste reminded me of funnel cakes, but as a donut. - The soft-serve ice cream is very smooth, like the ones you get at the county fairs. They serve the standard vanilla, swirl and chocolate flavors. - Cinnamon roll: Good when it's fresh and hot. After eating, my boyfriend and I headed out to the arcade. There's mostly just ticket games, which become addicting when you want to win tickets and spend lots of money! They also have bumper cars, a small bowling alley and 2 or 3 small rides. The arcade is very spaced out, so you won't feel claustrophobic in there. What else I really like about this place is that they strive themselves on great customer service. For example, guests can request different types of pizza to the kitchen if they're not currently being served. I saw a sausage and mushroom pizza in the slot for "Guest requested". The staff cleans up well, and makes sure you're doing great. If there's any problems, they're there for you. I had a great time here, and is a great place to go on a date on, go out with friends or bring the family here. They also have separate rooms for birthday parties and different events. I will definitely be coming back very soon.

So I always underestimated this place and never wanted to go here lol. I kind of outgrew the Chuck E. Cheese phase of my life & just assumed this would be some kind of imitation version of it. I was wrong!! Although they do have all the games with the tickets and prizes and all that good stuff, I'd say John's Incredible Pizza is SOOOOOOOOOOOO much better. First of all, they have like 3 giant rooms with tables and giant screen tv's. The room we stayed in had cartoons the whole time....lol but there was a room that was playing basically all the games that were on, basketball, baseball, so on.. I noticed there were a lot more grown ups in that one lol. So the food selection is huge! And it's all you can eat, omg.. there's a bazillion different kinds of pizza's. Some weird toppings I must say.. but very interesting. I'm a huge pasta fan so I had my pasta and breadsticks (WHICH WERE AMAZING BY THE WAY). I was here for my little cousins to celebrate a special occasion and I'm glad they picked John's. I was really really pleasantly surprised by this place.. I don't know why I had never given it a chance before. It IS a little pricey we had 7 people and spent about $170, I guess it's not too bad... but yeah! Great experience :)

Heaven for kids! It was our first time there. Try putting together a last minute bday gathering for your 10 year old as a walk-in, without reservation, and on a Sunday.... Pleasantly surprised. Negatives: 1. The lines were super long inside 2. Tough time finding a parking spot outside. 3. Huge place so if you are a large group, you can actually go nuts collecting the kids as you leave 4. Your adult friends who don't have kids will hate it and might say what mine did: "I'm never getting married and having kids! I'm also getting my tubes tied tomorrow" Positives: 1. Price of entry is reasonable ($6/kid up to 12 years old & $9 for adults. Under 2 are free). This price includes a yummy all you can eat buffet (buffet has about 15-20 different pizzas, salads, frozen yogurt and other desserts) 2. The kids have choices of so many games and rides regardless of their ages (I have a two year old that loved it too) 3. Great in cold weather as it is all indoor 4. Clean and had Friendly staff Another friend of mine who told me about this place said that it is much less crowded on weekdays! Will definitely take the munchkins there again!

Let me say that before I ate the low quality food, I walked in and noticed the horrible stench that almost smelled of a plastic factory.. Once I paid my $10 I was very happy to find food residue still left behind on the supposedly "Washed" plates. Also, the cups smelled of various fruit drinks when washed also. Interior design is tacky and the food is junk, but what else do you expect from a buffet?

I am seriously amazed at how John's is able to mimic so many frozen entrees and canned foods under one roof. I felt like I was thrown back to my college days of buying the $1 freezer specials and sampling every single one. It could be a good or bad thing depending upon what excites you. The beef stew tastes exactly like Dinty Moore. The salad bar was surprisingly fresh and had your standard items. The pastas were a bit dried out from sitting under the heat lamps so long. There are about 20 different kinds of pizza that you can choose from, but too bad that they only actually put out 10 of them. But the cool thing here is that you can ask them to make you a custom pizza and they will do so and announce your name when it is done. But be quick cuz there are people like me who will take more than a few slices (it is like a dining adventure, you have no idea what you are getting). The pizza reminds me of the kind you get served on the cruise ships. Overall, I would say that the food is absolutely mediocre. But why the 4 stars? This place is unbelievably clean - to a point, immaculate. How a place can have dozens of kids running around with their germy little hands and keep the place is so clean is a miracle. Screw super nanny, I want to hire the staff at John's as babysitters. They also have multiple themed rooms that compartmentalize the mayhem and the games area is set apart from the dining area. Anyone who has been to Chuck E Cheese knows what I am talking about and what a relief this is.. Not as adult friendly as Dave and Busters, but definitely a place where I would bring children.

A step above Chuck e Cheese's. A step down from D&B. Price is reasoanble, and their BBQ Chicken pizza is great. Salad bar is much better than Chuck's, but it can get a bit messy. The last time I came, I was in line for pizza, and was unfortunate to be behind a ghetto lady. When the BBQ chicken pizza came out, she took the WHOLE pizza. All 18 inches of it. All of its 8 slices. All to herself!!! I guess the server couldn't say anything, but that's just straight ghetto. Sorry, JIP, it's not your fault you invited this lady. But you bear the brunt of the criticism... I must add, if you're in the mood to take your kids to Chuck e Cheese's, try this place out. It's much cleaner and their games aren't as whack.

If I was a kid between the ages of 5 and 11 I'd give this place 5 stars. But I'm not . . .I'm an adult. I had the opportunity to visit this place for a friend's party (their 4 year old). Check-in was a bit strange, but necessary I guess for a party. This place is a bit overwhelming at first if you've never been to a JIP location. This was my first time. They have "private rooms" when reserving a party. So we passed by the salad bar/buffet on our way to the private room. They had a decent salad bar, and carb city which included pastas, baked potatoes and pizza. Desserts smelled great which included fresh donuts, cinnamon rolls, brownies and all kinds of other stuff. There were soft serve ice cream machines too!!! The downside is that kids are rampant. I saw sneezy, snotty, nose and butt picking kids mixed in with the buffet and I was relieved we ate before we arrived. Not even the soft serve is safe as I saw no less than 6 ice cream cones laying on the machine with about half a gallon of melting ice cream wasting away and dripping onto the floor. It looked pretty gross. As we made our way through the battlefield...er....arcade I asked my girlfriend for some excedrin. Our mission became clear . . . get to safety!!! (the private room). Of course the private room was the last room on the far end of the arcade. After being knocked about by zealous kids . . . we made it to the private room and closed the door behind us. We made it!!! We dared not venture out of the private room. So maybe I'm exaggerating. I love kids and all, but this is a little much. Why is this place so nauseating, loud, and obnoxious and why do kids act so crazy? The answer is simple . . .because this place provides that type of atmosphere. They don't have enough employees patrolling the arcade to discourage crazy outlandish behavior or to keep the food area nice and tidy. I'd never host a party for kids here. It's a cool spot to bring your kids during the week if you have the time when it's probably less crowded. Stay away on the weekend . . . You've been warned. All in all . . . it's not that bad. I just really wasn't expecting it to be so loud and crazy. Think Chuck E. Cheese hooked up to Dolby Digital Surround sound and pumped up to the max. Then magnify that by 100. Seriously . . . we had to shout at one another in the arcade to communicate especially within a 25 foot radius of Guitar Hero.

This place is so COOL! My family and I went for the first time in July. I was as excited as my son. We have been wanting to go for awhile but unwilling to drive to the nearest location which was Montclair. I spent about $60 that day and it was well worth it. Now I plan to throw my son a birthday party there later this year. My only gripe-the food is good, but too many carbs. I am trying to watch my weight and they need to include some chicken or other type of protein. Other than that LOVE IT!

Perhaps what stood out for this pizza buffet place was the price and the big screens in the "sports" section room (each room has different "themes" playing different things on the screen--such as cartoon room) was nicely big. The whole area is a lot like Chuck E. Cheese... there are video games, tickets to win, and it's a great place to take your kids, have a party, and eat as much as you can and drink as much for approximately $11-ish. Good bang for the buck. There are various kinds of pizzas you can pick from. I personally found much of the pizza rather mediocre (about the quality you'd find in Souplantation) and somewhat stale, although the peanut butter pizza was just so strange--not sure if it's a bad thing or a good thing--it was interesting, certainly not "incredible." There's a salad bar and desserts sections as well. Given that it was a buffet, much of the food didn't particularly stand out. The chili I had was about average. I did find the pasta and spicy tomato sauce rather agreeable. What does especially work are the different "sections" of rooms with different decorations and the big screens. It'd be a great place to watch sports games (although given the fact it's all-you-can-eat, I have no idea how the restaurant could make money) all day, if you'd like. While I think the facility is great, given that much of my review tend to be more geared on taste of food, thus the score.

I would give it a true 3.45 stars which explains the 3. Im sure the kids would give it a 5 since this is the main demographic. (Adult View) The reason for coming here was for my cousin's birthday party, and for most adults a child's party is the main attraction. In entering JIPco I would like to say that this place if very spacious; compared to a Chuckie Cheese this a + 1 for me. If the place is going to be full of kids, having an open space keeps the place a bit more sanitary or at least have the feeling of cleanliness. Next off the food was not bad at all. Expecting the pizza to taste like cardboard I was pleasantly surprised. I wouldn't say this is the best pizza but it did have some flavor. They make this up by having variety. I wish they had more meat dishes but if you are carb loading its a done deal at JIPco. What gave me a smile was that they did have a bar but no pitchers (-_-). The games were pretty easy to win tickets. We had a total of 5 jackpots won with in our group. This was exciting for the kids since they were actually able to win some decent prizes. Also they have rides which gives you an alternative if your losing poorly. Overall with the decent accommodations I give it a decent score. I wouldn't suggest this for a first date unless your date has a child. This is a great place for kids and they take in consideration the adults that will be there. I would give this a family satisfaction.

Went to this place because I've heard some good things about it. Boy were they wrong. Luckily I didn't have to wait the 45 minutes or an hour. You pay for a buffet an have to pay extra for drinks. Why!? They have a few different rooms to sit in an eat. Everything from a sports room to a room with movies for kids. I've heard they have lots of different kinds of pizza that you wont find any where else an what not. First, it seems like they hardly ever have the pizza your looking for. It just goes fast an takes forever to get more. The food is terrible, the tombstone in my freezer is better than this junk. The pizza has very little taste an the pasta is terrible. They have macaroni an it has no taste at all You can order a custom pizza, but there aren't many options for toppings. Basically the food sucks. I didn't even try the desserts because they looked awful. The service is just as bad. Tables were filthy and so was the buffet line. We would leave our plates an glasses to the side of the table to be picked up and we would wait almost 20 minutes before someone came to bus the table. Lots of screaming kids who are running around or crawling on the floor, bad food an difficulty getting your hands on it and almost nonexistent service. This is place is great for kids. All you can eat pizza, games a ride and lots of desserts. This place is far from incredible and I don't plan on ever going back.

I really like this place. It's much better than that other pizza place with a mouse/rat. John's is HUUUGGGEEE. One thing that you'll notice when you get in is the variety of dining rooms - each is decorated differently and has programming on the TV to match the room decor. The pizza buffet is great - a variety of pizzas to choose from and not just your average pepperoni or cheese. My personal favorite here is the Cheeseburger Pizza. I've also tried the Nacho, Fiesta and Pepperoni pies. There's lots of games to play and most give out some tickets as a prize which the kids can then turn in for prizes.

I heard about this place I think from Undercover Boss but didn't know there are locations in SoCal. So I was surprised when we got the b day invite from a close friend. Despite the slightly low rating on Yelp, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves for the b day party. We had a mid size run with about ten kids. The party helper was great and the fun was really good..well stocked and good variety of pizza. But if you plan to attend I would suggest to get there when the place opens. The food is fresh and game area was not crowded and bathrooms were clean. Later in the afternoon and day the place really fills up but still not too bad I felt. We will definitely return. But we aren't sure of the regular pricing. Its it worth because she can spend the whole day there with the kids.

I took my nephews and went on a Tuesday night around 7 PM. Took about a 10 minute wait. Place was not crowded. Kids were happy. Food is not 5 star, but most of it is pretty good. Great Salad Bar!! They need to keep up on cleaning up though. I noticed lots of dirty plates just put back out, dirty drink glasses, lots of dirty tables, food strung out all over in the buffet area, etc... Some of the games were broke down. Bowling game had balls missing. Think of Chunk E. Cheeses but on a bigger scale with all you can eat food. That's pretty much what this place is.

i've been to john's with my daughter three times. last visit, we had two of the $19 groupon deals; so we had tooooo many credits and had to leave before using them all up (they were closing) i left thinking, "darn, i guess we have to come back again." being the hoarder that i am, i never allowed the kid to get a prize with her tickets. i wanted to save up for a super-duper prize. after my initial review long ago, i was contacted by tara c., who apologized for the not-so-great experience and offered me two free buffet passes to try to make it up to me. i gave her my contact information and waited. and waited. and waited. the passes never came. i messaged tara to follow up, and she never responded. i was going to update my review to reflect my disappointment but never did. i'm too lazy, i guess. (like tara. lol) well, we needed to go one final time to play up all of the remaining credits and finally get the big prize, but guess what? there are NO TICKETS ON THE CARD. THEY ALL DISAPPEARED. we had THOUSANDS of tickets over the three visits. im pretty upset right now; hence the review update. UGH!!!!!

It's a lot better than Chuck E. Cheese. The arcade is a lot more spacious and the video games are a lot better. It is suitable for kids that are older than 5 or 6 years old, however there is play area for kids who are too little to play the games. The cons are you don't see the staff walking around. The food is carbohydrates' paradise...all kinds of pasta with sauce, pizza with different kind of toppings. (Peanut butter pizza, anyone?)

Only came here for my organization's yearly banquet. We had blast bonding and playing games with one another, oh and eating too XD Honestly when i saw this place i immediately thought of a "grown-up chuck e cheese" Food: If you like pizza and pasta with a side of salads and dessert then this is the place for you. all they have is pizza but in different kinds like cheeseburger, meat lovers, etc.... they also have pasta too. salads are the same as all you can eat restaraunts and the dessert bar consists of mini cinnamon rolls, brownies, cookies and ice cream. you also have the refreshment machines that you find at any fast food or all you can eat joints. Service: for all the times that i have been here. i would say the service is by far excellent. always cleaning your empty plates left on the table. always refilling our pitcher of water. At times they will talk to you, make you laugh, etc..... you just gotta be lucky :D Location: this place is located underneath the mall. it was surprising to me too when i was looking at it from above. parking wise i gotta say its pretty darn good. there is no possible way for you to not find parking. the entrance to this place is clearly lit by its gigantic sign so its not hidden from anyone.

Just went here this past Sunday and it was alright We went for my 8-year-old niece's birthday and got one of the private party rooms from 7pm-9pm. The food was ok, but since I was sick I can't really say anything about that. My boyfriend said the pizza was good so I'll just trust his word on that. The buffet was pretty good, a salad bar, pizza bar, pasta bar, dessert bar, and mini soup bar. I hovered over the two options of soup they had a majority of the time. Inside the party room we had two ladies who would take our trays for us and lead the mini "party" we had. The kids (which somehow included myself and my boyfriend) played limbo and hot potatoes. Afterwards was the cake then the girls opened their presents. The time in the party room itself seemed SUPER rushed. However, they did bring in that giant bear thing towards the end which was the highlight because one of the kids started crying when he saw him. HILARIOUS! The rest of the night was dedicated to games and rides. They had bumper cars, this weird laser thing, mini swinging ship thingy, and a weird spinning ride. We just ended up using all of our credits on the game where you put coins in then it pushes the other coins down. Most addicting game ever! Overall it was a great experience, but the rushed part docked it a couple stars. Would definitely come back though!

my high school took us here for grad night which to put it nicely, was a big disappointment to all of us. I'm not sure what the price is of this place but we had to pay $165 (which included transportation) but I wouldn't even pay $20 to come here again. after only a few minutes, you run out of things to do... there's only so many arcade games that a girl wants to play in a night. definitely not my style here but then again why would a school bring graduated seniors to a place like this and make us stay for like 8 hours til the next morning !?

First.. could not even find this place.. till I thought I wonder if it's in the mall since there's no such street as indicated on the website. Once we got there it was crazy.. and don't get me wrong I've been to the one in Montclair and I sooo prefer that one then this one any day. It's not 4 star food but you do get what you pay for, which is unlimited supply of pizza bar, salad bar and dessert bar and endless drinks, however most if not all the food was out, so it was alot of standing around waiting for the staff to refill the food. The rides and games are not even as fun as the one in Montclair.. the only fun part about Saturday evening was seeing my 16 year old nephew play with my girlfriend's 6 years old son as if they where BFF ( priceless)

So, before I left for Florida I gave John's one more chance. I ended up going during a VERY busy time with myself the girl and one of our friends who never went. Only downside? My favorite room was full. Ended up going into a sports themed room, but it was loud as well. Gave a TGI Fridays feel though. Compared to when I went before, this time was pretty good. Why? Because they were double stacking pizza. They'd have one pizza on a raised plate, and once it was finished they would pull the plate and below it was another pizza. It was very efficient and the pizzas were very fresh because of the high turnover. Peanut Butter Pizza is still awful, but the other pizzas tasted pretty good due to high turnover. I also decided to try some other things before I left: Creamy Marinara Pasta, Salad, Breadsticks, and Pasta Fagoli Soup. Creamy Marinara Pasta: ew. It's basically Alfredo and Marinara sauce mixed together. Rather gross tasting. The salad bar wasn't destroyed this time so I grabbed some salad. It was actually pretty good. Salad was fresh as well. Breadsticks were pretty good, very chewy. Pasta Fagoli Soup wasn't bad. Little bland. Dessert was good. Donuts were fresh due to high turnover, and I had some Apple Cobbler with some Vanilla Soft Serve, yum. Arcade got moved around since last time too. Dance machine still sucks. But I turned in the redemption tickets for the girl and got her some goodies: Hello Kitty Lunchboxes, a Carebare, and a hacky sack for myself. Versus the other times I went, this was one of the best trips to John's I've had. For what it is, I was pretty glad with my last trip.

Kids love it so I love it. It is a little expensive for the quality of food. Some would argue that the game works meets chucky cheeses meets disneyland play area would warrant the higher price BUT you have to pay for the games and rides separately. So come with money and a decent amount of it. I wont go into detail about things they have or do as other reviewer have done excellent jobs in that but just know it is fun, you can kill a few hours but the food is OK and the prices are a little up there.

Gross!! Gross!! Gross!! I've never seen such a madhouse!? Savages acting like they have never seen food before. I will NOT BE RETURNING HERE! The employees seem to be in just as much of a daze as the customers. I have found more than a few dirty forks and spoons to choose from in the utensil bins which makes me worry every more about what could, and is, taking place behind the scenes in the kitchen and back of the house. What a zoo of an atmosphere. My head is spinning. The food wasn't anything to brag about either. Just typical pizza choices and salad. If not for the birthday party I was here for with my children I would not have chosen to eat here. The play area is just as dirty. Games were dirty, broken, loud and just annoying. I have been to the John's in the city of Montclair, and it was NOTHING like this location. It was cleaner, less crowded, CLEANER! I would Frequent that location if my children were invited but have to decline here in Buena Park. Sorry if it sound harsh but I worked in the food service industry for over 15 years and know what to look for and can spot issues that mean there are even bigger problems than what usually meets the eye.

Ok, ok. This place is SUPPOSED to be a magical place for kids and toddlers and family fun and what not, especially with the tons of pizza, pasta, desserts, arcade games, and the Yogi-Bear lookalike that you occasionally see walking around taking pictures with children. But um, a SPORTS-themed room with tons of big screen televisions everywhere stationed to various games in the room??? Beer??? AYCE??? Yes, I DO believe this place can also be a magical place for adults as well! Overall, the pizzas have some fairly poor quality of ingredients atop, but it's an AYCE pizza place for $9, so what were you expecting? Putting that aside, they make some really creative and tasty pizzas with what they have. My two favorites are the spicy peanut butter pizza and the cheeseburger pizza. Yum and yum. And just in case none of the pizzas you see on display look appealing to you, you have the option of creating your own pizza (using whatever ingredient they have) at no extra charge! Save room for dessert and more importantly, TRY EVERY DESSERT! The ordinary powdered sugar mini donuts you see? Delicious! The apple crisp? Delicious! Chocolate chip cookies? Delcious! Get the point? Be forewarned! If you want the $9 AYCE buffet WITHOUT the drink, it IS possible! Don't let them fool you into believing that your only choice is the AYCE Combo for $11.50--be firm and tell them you want the buffet only if that's what you want. Half the employees at the register are apparently unaware that there is even an option for just the buffet; it's not their fault, they've just never been shown how to find that option on their register.

2 stars because I'm not a kid.. Ok so went here today and couldn't wait to get out....! The line to just get in was crazy long. An hour long line. Finally we get in I paid $40.38 for an adult n child dinner with a fun card ($19.99)... Food was a very low eh... my nephew loved the pizza but then again kids don't have very experienced taste buds. Anyways the games where ok but your lucky if the machine works... after two hours in that building I was getting a headache... I needed fresh air... and right before we left we had to wait in another 30min line to trade our tickets in for a prize. But if u got kids they would love it here just make sure your ready for a walk through a zoo....

I am okay with this place, but my son really likes it. Here is his review: The food was delicious. The pizza, salads and the deserts were very nice. It is buffet heaven. The Alfredo pizza is the most delicious. It has yummy cheese and really makes my mouth water. The arcade games are very fun. They have bumper cars, bowling, rides and birthday parties. My favorite game is Super Bikes 2. I would go back for a birthday party.

my litle brother, whom is my fav brother, loves this place! It wouldent be my first choice for dinner but when i want to treat him we come here. They have a salad bar, which my brother doesnt go near, a dissert area, pasta, and his fav pizza! THis place kinda reminds me of something between a db and chucky cheeze. They have around 3 rides and alot of different games. I would recommend this place to anyone with children, they will definitly have a good time. It can get a little pricy with games and what not but its worth it once in a while.

Theses are the same people that complain when they find out their husbands have a "second wife" somewhere during their relationship. Deal with it. I did get some salad to make it somewhat healthy. We got there when they just open at around 10-10:15ish. It's a self-served buffet style for pizza and pasta. Go get what you need and eat it. We sat in the sports room to eat since I didn't want to be bother by the rug-rats in the other theme rooms. I noticed a couple of families were throwing birthday parties in the private rooms by the game area. Games....I haven't seen these games elsewhere and me and my gf had fun going through the ones we played. She had fun and I had a good time also. The mini bowling was very easy. It's like bumper bowling...you can't lose unless you have no coordination whatsoever. This would be a great place to take a bunch of people to go to. I'm still a "kid at heart" and this place rocks for me. Incredible Day!!!! Will come back!!!! yay!!!

My sister in law offered this place as an alternative to Chuck E Cheese for my 4 year old daughter. The food is not bad considering it's meant for mass appeal. They have the typical buffet foods. Pizza, pastas and salads. But - they also have a few non-typical things like the freshly made donuts, cinnamon buns and baked potato bar. The atmosphere is crazy but in a good way. Like a overly animated cartoon gone lifesize. It's loud but what do you expect in an arcade type arena? If you want peace and quiet -- this would not be the place to go. The only drawback would be not enough stuff for the toddler age range. Theres a play area and a couple of hokey rides but that's about it for ages 2-4. Hopefully, next time we can try bowling since it was crowded the evening we were there. At least we still have points on our Pass card so all we have to do is buy dinner.

A little pricey...but honestly I feel a better alternative than Chuck E Cheese! There buffet style options for food are fabulous & they have probably every pizza style option you can think of! There games are pretty up to date & they are always expanding & bringing in new ones...whether for the adults or the kids. They made it so that if you are apart of there Johns Pizza Club that the games don't dispense tickets anymore, it just adds to the total amount of tickets you have already accumulated on your card. It shows your total ticket count grow as the machine counts down...its actually really convient since the parents don't have to be carrying all those tickets around anymore. They also have a couple different ride options which are pretty cool, since the other place with that mouse doesn't have stuff like that!

Only if I was a kid again... This place would be pretty darn cool. I came here with my 3 nephews and neice ages 9, 7 & 3. They loved it & couldn't get enough... we arrived at 8 and stayed til closing. As an adult... this place a loud and annoying. I hate your pasta spoon. I mean you give me this tiny little space to grab long noodles with a pasta spoon...it doesn't work!! give me prongs or something... even chopsticks will work! I hate the card swiping to play games...some machines took my money without even letting me play! & there was no one to complain to because all the employees were basically absent. It wasn't like it was extremely crowded or anything... but some parents should definitely put a leash on their kids because no matter where you are... you shouldn't be let loose to yell & scream like monkeys. The food is okay, not spectacular or "incredible" it was interesting with all the variety and selection. so if you're a kid - GO HERE, you'll love it!

I had my daughter's 3rd birthday here and I was pretty impressed. I had 3 rooms to accomodate 41 guests. I didn't have to do anything!!! Great service and a great staff. The only cons are the food. We had to go back because they would run out completely. Also everytime I eat here my stomach does not like it. Maybe it's all the grease. Who knows!

I don't know what to say about this place. I'm not fond of buffets at all. This place is great for kids! Buffet is very very cheap. I still prefer Chuck E. Cheese as far as the food is concerned. I recommend you don't show up to this place on an empty stomach. If you plan on eating here, stick to the salad bar. There's a Fatburger nearby stop by before or after. Whatever you do, never try the Peanut Butter Pizza. No matter how much your curiosity ponders you. Don't do it, peanut butter does not belong on pizza.

I should start by saying that when I discovered "John's Incredible Pizza", I had never heard of it before, until I got a flyer in the mail for a buy one buffet, get one free. I immediately called up one of my friends, and we were off to try it out! Imagine my surprise when I found out it literally IS the bottom floor of the Buena Park Mall - a favorite spot of mine which had been slowly dying a painful, painful death for the past few years. Suddenly, here I was, at the Buena Park Mall, fighting for a parking spot - it was an incredibly beautiful bittersweet moment! HALLELUJAH John's Incredible Pizza! You have done what I only imagined God could do - You have brought back LIFE to the Buena Park Mall! Now any of you who know me, know that I am a sincere fan of children (I decided growing older was just NOT for me), and this place is WONDERFUL for kids. Think "Las Vegas for the under 16 crowd". It's noisy, it's crowded, it's all-you-can-eat-move-your-butt-or-you-will-get-Ârun-over-by-my-baby's-stroller, it's FABULOUS! I give it 4 stars only because the quality of the food does have room for improvement. But hey - they are new, so give them time! And for a kid's buffet - they actually have some very good choices! Pizza tops the menu (obviously) and while some of them taste very generic, the kid's pizza's were HILARIOUS and the kids loved them - peanut butter pizza, macaroni and cheese pizza - you get the idea. All the stuff that us adults cringe at the sight of, but the kids eat it up....it's here! Besides pizza: salads, potato salad, soups - all the buffet standards are there. The beverage selection was vast, but the iced coffee is something to be avoided at all costs. Not to fear! Beer and wine is available! Their "mini donuts" are the perfect size for your sweet tooth, and watching the machine make them takes me back to my Krispy Kreme days..... The dining rooms are themed - from the whacked out cartoon theme, to the more contemporary rock theme, there is something for everyone there. The party rooms (converted vacant Buena Park Mall stores that never saw the light of day, or more than 10 folks in their lifetime) were great in location, next to all the games and rides. Yes there are a ton of games and rides here - It's truly a kid's dream come true! But BRING YOUR MONEY - while you are trying to enjoy your meal, be prepared for your children's greedy hands to be poking around your purse looking for CASH. Go with an open mind, and an open wallet, and you will have a great time! SUGGESTIONS: If you have more than one kid, bring more than one adult. This place can get crazy, so a 1:1 ratio is probably the best. Also, this place can get crowded especially around the middle of the month, when all of Orange County decides that, since their rent check has cleared, "Let's round up our 15 yungin's and Grandma in the back of the RV and go to John's Incredible Pizza!". Best times to go are as soon as they open near the very end or beginning of any given month.

My first time here & I was skeptical at first but the kids loved it & I liked it. Brought the whole family here for lunch about two weeks ago in honor of my son's 9th birthday. Since I had never been here I thought it best to try lunch first since the buffet price is about $2.50 cheaper than the dinner price. They charge separately for drinks which doesn't sit too well with me. The money I save by coming at lunch went to pay for drinks. The place was clean which I attribute to the fact that we came right when they opened. The salad bar was nothing special but they had quite a variety of pastas & pizzas...seriously something for everyone's taste. They also had coffee & cappucino along w/the usual sodas & fruit punch. They serve wine & beer for an additional charge. My favorite part of the buffet was the dessert bar. They had warm chocolate chip cookies, warm cobbler, warm cinnamon rolls, & a number of different cakes as well as softserve ice cream and a variety of toppings to go with it. The arcade/gaming/play area was huge! Big enough for little ones to get lost which is why I kept my little ones in the enclosed toddler playground while I let my 9 year-old wander to his heart's content. My kids would give this place a 5-star rating but I'm going to stick with my 3-star rating for several reasons. The place is a little spendy after paying for food, drinks & of course the Fun Card necessary to play games and such. The food wasn't anything to write home about but it was definitely better than what I was expecting. The variety was what impressed me most. I didn't like that the drinks were a separate charge. Charge one price for both food & drink & I might've given an extra star.

This place is okay. I only went because my bfs cousin was celebrating his brithday here. I'm sure if I was between the ages of 5-10 this place would be amazing. Too bad i'm 23 and this place basically blows. Yays: cheap food, perfect place for families. Pizzas Galore! Dessert bar is pretty legit. Totally appealing for kids! Nays: noisy to the max. I know its a place for kids, but heck i had the worst headache of my life. cheap food. My butt hated me for days. sorry TMI seating, we couldn't find seating for our big party. Tables were dirty and sticky. Verdict? I would take younger kids here, not my date. Very family friendly.

Okay, it doesn't help that I'm not an arcade person, but I mean seriously... 1. This place was so incredibly dirty. Almost every single plate was greasy, and all the trays had soap and food residue on them! 2. The service was incredibly slow. We had to wait forever until they refilled the utensils. 3. Lastly the food was incredibly gross. The salad bar just looked nasty. But most importantly, their pizza tastes horrible, and I'm not even a picky eater.. First off, let me say that I'm a mother of a 12, 4 and 2 year old so I do a lot of kiddie things. Well I love the price and the food is not bad at all. The selection of pizzas is amazing and the salad bar is fresh and constantly refilled. Now, on that note... I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone. It's like someone put Chuck E Cheese, Souplantation and the folks from Hometown buffet into one building. This place is called John's Incredible Pizza Co. I definitely experience the INCREDIBLE... it's incredible how many trays a person can hold at one time (I saw a man with 4 and the trays were full of food) also incredible how many parents let their kids run RAMPANT like starved lunatics... wow.. INCREDIBLE I truly think this place could be AWESOME if they would limit the amount of people by an hourly basis or something.. I dunno. It was like a war zone honestly. You had to duck and weave your way in and out of the food area. The reason why the food was always so fresh and constantly refilled is because the minute the food's put out, it's GONE! I'm glad I didn't get the VIP cards because I don't plan on going back.

So I came here with my son for the second time. My first experience was not that great. It smelled horrible, games were so loud that it hurt my eardrums, food was not pleasant and the dinnig area was a mess. I decided to return since my son enjoyed it. Do I regret coming? Nothing changed. Still the worst place ever. Food is awful, dinning area was such a mess that I eneded up sliping on soda that someone spilled. John's Incredible Pizza is nothing short than that, Incredible. Real family fun and real good buffet food. Delicious pizza (famous for their Spicy Peanut Butter Pizza and Alfredo Pizza. There's also Macaroni & Cheese, BBQ Chicken Ranch, Fiesta, Buffalo Chicken and Garlic Pesto pizzas as well as the traditional combinations like Veggie, Meat Lovers and Hawaiian), great soups, healthy salads, fantastic pasta, indulgent desserts, and amazing drinks (like coffee, cappuccino, lemonades & beer), and it's all you can eat. After you can work the food off playing in their fun world of games and rides(Bumper Cars, Twister, Frog Hopper, Bowling, Laser Tag, Incredible Express Roller Coaster, Glow Golf and over 100 of the latest Video and Redemption Games). Think Chucky Cheese meets Disneyland. It's great for parties or just enjoying time with the family & friends.

My review of John's Incredibly Bad Pizza This place was so disappointing after reading so many good reviews . The family and I went on a rainy afternoon and it was packed. I really resent the fact that you are forced to pay admission in the form of a mandatory buffet fee. It would have been forgivable if the food was actually edible, but in order to save you (dear reader) the pain of a long winded food review, let's just say your pancreas will get a serious workout if you eat here. If you're diabetic, I suggest you double up on your normal insulin regimen. John's may have a leg up on Chuck E. Cheese when it comes to entertainment, but at least CEC doesn't force you to eat their swill (and CEC has decent wings believe it or not). Enough said, scoff at my review if you must, but this place seriously sucks.

Finally decided to give this place a try with my son, was so tired of chuck e cheese!! Honestly, it wasn't half bad. I didn't really go for the pizza, but my son did love the pepperoni, then again, how bad can one mess up a pepperoni pizza. I stuck to the salad bar, and meh, it wasn't awful, actually pretty decent. I did like the fact that they had different sitting rooms, one to fit every persons interest. A sports dinning area with a big screen and a couple smaller screens playing whatever game is going on...a room with a big screen playing cartoons...you get the idea. They also serve beer and it's not ridiculously over priced for a mug..or a pitcher.... The games were pretty good, fit for older kids as well as the younger. I didn't allow my little one to try the rides, nevertheless he loved the games, after he was done playing he worked his appetite back up and was ready for round 2 and the buffet while mommy had a beer....hahah....my son loved it, it was a cross between a dnb and a chuck e cheese, I will be bringing him back soon.....

Let me start out by saying that I don't have kids. If I did, I'm sure I would like that I can come here, eat all day and send my kids off to play. Let me start off with the positives. Loved the icee machine. I had 3 icee refills. Also, loved the powdered sugar donuts. The pizza was okay, but I know we really weren't here for the food. My cousin had a birthday party, so it came with a coordinator who did a great job of engaging the kids (ages 3-10). The bumper cars were cool too. Now, the games- most of them didn't work. I tried skeeball and it said I had 8 balls left. I threw one ball in, and it jumped down to 2 balls left. That type of problem kept happening. They do have a "refund employee" on the floor, but after the third time machine malfunction, I started to get embarrassed that I kept hounding him for refunds. With everything though, I will probably come back if I'm every babysitting my cousins.

If you have young kids, they will enjoy it here. Just be sure to get a game card! I, and four other lucky adults, took an 8 yr old and a 4 yr old for an afternoon of food/fun. It really is a much better experience with kids. The 8 yr old was allowed to carry her own tray and get her own food. She actually picked somewhat healthy stuff, mainly sticking to spaghetti. Though she did disappear for a few minutes (you try keeping track of a 4 year old and an 8 year old while holding a tray of food in this place) and by the time we found her she'd loaded two heaping plates with spaghetti. Lol. The 4 year old actually asked for broccoli and corn from the salad bar. Great tip: bring them to the salad bar first and let them tell you what they want. After eating (which the kids skipped dessert and the adults definitely did NOT) we headed over to play. There was a good enough selection of games to keep both kids entertained. And two $30 game cards was enough for all of us (kids and adults) to have fun for about two hours of play.

Finding John's was a complete accident. I was taking my new CASA match ( casaoc.org if you are interested) out for the first time. Not really knowing what she would like or dislike, I had thought we could hit up the Buena Park Mall area for something to eat first. After driving around for a bit, we decided to get out and walk near the theater to see what was in that area. Lo' and behold, John's. At first, I thought it was a Chuck E Cheese type place, but then we realized it was Hometown Buffet meets Dave n Busters, but aimed at kids. It was fairly cheap to eat and we bought a "fun card." We put $13 total on the fun card to start with and ended up hitting the jackpot on some random ticket game without even realizing it. We hung out for a few hours, and were able to spend time talking and getting to know each other. I wouldn't recommend this place for a date or anything, or even for most outings, but for this one evening it turned out to be the perfect spot. The food is alright, the service is not so great. Even though it is a fairly new establishment, it seems to be a bit dirty.

Good god this is Chuck E. Cheeses on crack mixed with a bit of heroine! Not only is this place inside the mall (next to Sears) but it seems to take up the entire first floor of the mall its so damn massive! If you have kids or a kids party to throw, I think this is it! Food is buffet style pizza/pasta/drinks/desserts and salads. Surprisingly the foods wasn't that bad. I was thinking I'd get food poisoning just due to the sheer amount of food and people moving through the buffet tables, but so far so good! The Spicy Peanut Butter pizza was actually not only a surprise to see, but very tasty! Way better than the Nacho pizza or Cheeseburger pizza. All you can eat and grab was what this please was about. Games wise, yes, they seem to have it all including rides for the kiddies. I won't go into detail as you can see the other yelp'ers review for that. I'm too damn tired from chasing after my three kids to explain it all. What I will say is that the Willy Wonka candy game dispenses candy without using your tokens! Just wait for the candy to fall out all on its own and watch your little munchkins loot the damn game everytime the run past it. Then you'll know why I'm so dang tired right now. All in all, clean place, decent grub for the kids and wait, just wait, they SERVE BEER!!! Halle-freakin' lujah. Take the kids once to check it out .

Whoever came up with this idea is ingenious! It's as big as a las vegas buffet!! I mean if you want a pizza party you should just have it here. It has the BEST bumper car ride but not worth the price. The games are not the old school arcade games, they are all new and improved. I don't need to repeat what everyone else probably already said. Let me break it down as i always do: Food: 5 stars (hey it's not a gourment restaurant but it's good pizza) Ambience: 5 stars Service: 3 stars (hard to find someone when you need help) Cleanliness: 4 stars Price for Quality: 5 stars **Oh and watch for the dancing mascot! after he's done with his routine, to create a diversion he throws all these tickets in the air. 4 stars for the concept. 2-3 stars for the food. PEANUT BUTTER PIZZA: kinda yuck, but i'm glad i tried it at least once. ALFREDO PIZZA: the best! yum! CHEESEBURGER PIZZA: wrong, just wrong. goes against nature. BBQ CHICKEN PIZZA: nice! PASTAS: just ok. DONUTS: freshly baked, these are the bomb! SALAD BAR: happy to see ya! i really enjoyed the whole concept of a pizza buffet with an arcade. the games weren't the best, but this is a great place for kids & families. you can't go wrong taking your little ones here. i had fun, & the price is super reasonable.

Screw Chuck-E-Cheese and Dave & Busters! This place really is INCREDIBLE!!!! Actually, it really is a Dave & Busters with an all you can eat buffet. As the other reviews said, this place has way better pizza then Chuck's. They have a lot to choose from and everything is so fresh. I went today for my Uncle's birthday...I was thinking "is this 40 something year old really having a birthday party here?" But once I was in there I understood why he wanted his shindig there. We partied it up in the vertical room, I totally wanted to steal the signs off the walls, but I didn't. Excellent customer service here as well. My Aunt brought a cake for him and it was an ice cream cake and asked if they can put it in the freezer, they took it but put it in the refridgerator and when it was time for birthday cake and they brought it out, it was all melted like a milk shake. The manager came out and had a fresh new cake for us (one of the one's they make there for the dessert section). Very nice guy... ***PSST....THEY HAVE GUITAR HERO!!!!***

I was invited here for a friends birthday. The buffet was 8.99 and the girl just charged me 11.99 without asking if I wanted a drink or not. I didn't realize until after. -.- The pizza was just okay. I liked the alfredo ones. The salad was a wilted mess. Pasta tasted a lil funny. The dessert was just awlful and old tasting. Who knows. I came at 7:30pm. Surely they would want fresh food for dinner? Games eh.

OK - this is a tough review. Personally, this place makes me want to rip my nuts off. However, my son had the time of his life, so how is it possible to write a unbiased review? I stumbled on this place not knowing what it was. We intended to go to Buffalo Wild Wings, but because of the Lakers game, it was as busy as a Taco Bell toilet. Pros: Cheap as free pizza, salad, and desserts, themed dining rooms, bright lights and games for my son. Cons: Really, really loud, crappy tasting pizza Cons??: The people watching. Seriously, its interresting to sit there and see the humanity wash over you. The crazy kids with no supervision knocked my 1.5yr old over on multiple occasions.

I love the food and games...it's better than chuck e cheese. The food is all u can eat...you have to purchase a game card to play games. Good prizes too. We went thru the party line. But if you come on the weekends be prepared to wait in line for 45 mins to get in. You must pay before coming in. Which is a good thing!!!! This place is right down the street from Knott's Berry Farm.

Kids' party...family fun day...all you can eat pizza/pasta. This place is big, they have several themed rooms to eat in, at least 12 unique and traditional pizza flavors and a games/arcade with bumper cars. I attended a kids bday here but I actually had a pretty good time. They have weird flavors that tasted amazing- pesto pizza, Alfredo pizza, spicy peanut butter pizza...pretty fun how you can taste all you want. All in all I may have eaten a whole extra large pizza all by myself. Delicious!! Even if you don't have kids of your own, and craving pizza, I think this is a good place to try. I am a fan of the Alfredo pizza and will go back for that alone...$11/per adult. Not bad.

I had never heard of this place, but was at Knotts and a friend of a friend there recommended it. I arrived with LOW expectations, thinking it would be something along the lines of Chuck E Cheese (and I was dreading it). My teenage son refused to step across the threshold, stating that it was a kiddie place and implying that there was no way he was gracing the place with his uber-coolness. I think he was just trying to act cool in front of his girlfriends, who was also with us, but who knows with teenagers. My 2 younger kids and their friends eagerly entered, especially after hearing "all you can eat." There is a mandatory admission price to enter, which covers the food, but the manager/owner (?) waived the fee for my youngest son, who is on a strict diet and cannot eat anything with gluten or caesin (wheat or dairy). I thought that was pretty decent of him. The price for the buffet was reasonable, considering it was all-you-can-eat, and I've never seen prices any lower than this for a buffet type place. I thought the food was pretty good, but I'm no foodie. I quite enjoyed the funky flavored pizza, yes, even the peanut butter one! LOVED that they served beer/wine; this made the "game" portion of the night much more tolerable Speaking of games: bring your wallet and be prepared to spend. I liked the game card concept much better than tokens. ALL the kids in our group LOVED the game room, YES, EVEN THE TEENAGERS!!!!! My oldest, the one who refused to even go in at first, STILL talks about this place. He calls it "Big John's" and tells any/everyone "Big John's" is "the bomb." I'd definitely go again, but bring some Excedrin. This place is LOUD and CHAOTIC! Keep your little ones close at hand or they could easily get lost. The lighting is low in the game area, unlike the blasting overhead lighting at Chuck E Cheese. This is probably what made it much less annoying (or maybe it was the 2 beers with dinner?)

The concept is great for family entertainment. However TODAY customer service is a negative star. My family had a birthday party and there was no accommodation whatsoever for our trailing family members to join the already existing party. As a manager myself I am able to make justifiable accommodations without making exceptions or setting a precedence. Peter has much to learn about hospitality and customer service he gets no star!

Went here for a birthday party for the first time. Good food selection - not bad tasting. My six year old enjoyed the food and was entertained. It was a bit overwhelming because it's so big and it's hard to keep track of your little ones (which makes me a bit nervous). I liked the different little alcoves you could dine in. We ate in the party area/room. There was a character who came out and hung out with the kids for about 5 minutes. There were games led by the staff which was kinda cool. Dont order too many ingredients. People who work here are teenagers and really dont care about what they are doing. so if you put too many toppings you may not get them all. so a good rule of thumb is to keep it simple. Table Service: the employees who cleared the tables in the dining halls were very efficient at their jobs. we never had to lift a finger they came by often. Warning: if you dislike children or have a low tolerance for children; you are not going to enjoy coming here. The children here will drive you crazy. they will run everywhere not looking where they are running. they are playing/messing around in the restroom. they are coughing and sneezing around the food. In general they are unattended; parents think they can let the kid loose. Overall: i think Johns Incredible pizza has an awesome AYCE pizza buffet. its a shame that it had to be in compliments with children. but then again business wouldnt be as good without the kids. Rule of thumb: come here for a good AYCE buffet. you will enjoy the food no doubt. they have pastas; you can order any pizza you want, they have deserts and soft serve. the Food is good the kids..... well that depends on your take on kids. Note: on deserts: they have a little deep fryer that makes fresh donuts. some of their deserts like the brownie is really thick (an attempt to get you full faster).

We went to this place for my friend's party and I had a blast. You pay a very small price to have AYCE pizza and pasta and salad bar, and AYCD (non-alcoholic beverages). The pizza there is delicious. They serve some of the ones that are most commonly ordered like cheese, hawaiian, pepperoni, etc. What caught my interest was the spicy peanut butter pizza. They have a peanut on top of every slice! That was interesting. I think the bbq chicken pizza was the best out of all of them. The pastas were not so bad either. They had mac n' cheese and an assortment of pastas that you can choose from. You could also choose from 3 different sauces - spicy tomato, alfredo and meat sauce. I thought it was going to be like Chuck E Cheese, but it was way better! It is geared not only towards kids, but there are some games there that both adults and kids would love. It was sort of like a combination of Dave & Busters and Chuck E Cheese, but better. They had games like guitar hero, some super quiz sort of game, they had rides, bowling for the little ones and bowling for the adults as well. The best game was the Deal or No Deal. I've always wondered what it was like to be on the show and I think this is probably pretty similar .. except you win tickets instead of money. Hehe! The prizes that they give out are really good too. You can actually win an X box or a PS if you save up enough tickets. This place is great for family. I give it a 4 stars!

First off, it's a little hectic and hard to find seating for very large groups, so look into the group discounts/group reservations. I was actually a little surprised about the quality of the food. I kind of expected it to be your typical buffet food-- not amazing, but not poor. I think what did it for me was the wide variety of pizzas. I wouldn't quote this place to have AMAZING food, but it's on the higher end. The pizzas are really good, and their salad bar has a pretty large variety of vegetables/etc, too. I didn't stay to play in the venue with my friends (which is why I only give it 3 stars) because I had to get going, but i will say it looked like a lot of fun. It has some kind of carnival ride, and there's plenty of games to play. I guess you could consider it like a cross between D&B and Chuck-E-Cheese. The upper elementary and junior high kids I work with go there often in groups, and they have a blast every single time.

This place is huge and fun all around. With a huge place for the buffet and the arcade is humongous with over 50 variety of games including a couple of rides and a corner for bumper cars! The food was ok but the pizza is pretty good since they have about 5 different kinds of the DIFFERENT topping like spicy peanut butter or Caesar salad pizzas. However BEWARE! do NOT eat the salad, the greens taste like they were medicated in frozen salt water, and the "fettucine" is disgusting. 3.5/5 for me.

I went to John's Incredible Pizza place with a few of my friends last week and ended up finding an incredible (pun intended) deal: 6.99 all you can eat buffet before 3pm (with a drink it comes out to be $9.23, but it's still one of the best deals you'll find for a buffet. They serve a variety of pizzas, pastas, salads, and desert. The pizza was great, with so many to choose from (I particularly liked the Alfredo Pizza), and you can even have them make an original type of pizza just for you (macaroni and cheese pizza, peanut butter pizza, etc.). I didn't particularly like the pastas which tasted really dry, and I didn't try the salad. I also could live without the rides and video games. My favorite part of this restaurant would have to be the themed rooms. I remember there being a Cabin Fever room, a "Vertical" room, a sport room with horse racing and ESPN, a music video room, and a cartoon room playing old Looney Toons cartoons from the ages. One of the coolest things I discovered on my last trip there was the internet. I sat in the Cabin Fever room with my laptop writing a paper when I thought I'd check to see if there was internet available. "John's Pizza" popped up, but it was password protected. I thought to myself, why not, then typed in "incredible" to see if that was the password. *Bing* connected! For those of you looking for a place to chill the whole day, eat a couple of meals, and work on some homework, John's Incredible Pizza has food, internet, and a fun atmosphere. Just remember the password "INCREDIBLE."

I found this place on Yelp, and after reading the reviews, and visiting their website, I told my boyfriend and his neighbors, and we decided to try this place out on Sunday! Just like everyone else has mentioned, this place is a mix up of Dave and Busters and Chuck-E- Cheese! This place is huge and very clean. The food bar area was all very clean, and neat. They even had a Cappuccino Bar! For adults, it was $8.99 and for kids, it varies depending on the age of the kids. Anyways, there was a huge selection of pizza. Ranging from cheeseburger, nacho, alfredo, hawaiian, spicy peanut butter, etc. The spicy peanut butter sounded wierd, but it actually didn't taste that bad! It had a very interesting taste to it...almost like peanut butter on bread, and then you had sausage and cheese! I would recommend everyone at least trying it. They also had salad bar, cold and hot pasta dishes...and a dessert section. Our neighbor had the mini donuts, and she loved it! I was too full to try the donuts, but that will be a must at my next visit! My boyfriend and I also got the VIP cards! What it is, is a one time $5 payment, and every year on the month of your birthday, you get a free buffet meal on any day of the month! This is a one time buy only, and you can use it for a lifetime! awesome huh? Anyways, onto the funland area. Basically everything D&B has, but this place also has rides! Who has ever heard of carnival-ish rides inside a mall restaurant? Anyways, they had this thing called Twister, and this pirate ship that swayed back and forth. They also had bumper cars, and a small kids bowling alley. This place is very kid and adult friendly! I would definitely come here again! We got here around 11am, and that probably is the best time to get here..whether it be a weekday or weekend. By noon, the place was packed!!! We left at around 2pm, and the place had at least a good 30 people waiting in line to pay! The only thing I would complain about is I wish they had more soup selections! They only had two measly soup selections...chicken and dumplings, and some beef one. What buffet doesn't have clam chowder??!

My family (like 30 of us) rented a room at John's for my nephew's birthday last month. My expectations were low (I thought this would be Chuck E Cheese but farther away) so maybe I was just pleasantly surprised. The food was descent (so much better than CEC) and they had so much to choose from. The salad bar had super fresh toppings and the piping hot baked potatoes were a hit. The kids loved all the different kinds of pizza (crazy toppings!) and the pastas. The desserts were meh, but we had birthday cake instead (provided). This place is HUGE! The games were awesome (think bowling, bumper cars, arcade etc) but on the pricier side. The rooms/gaming area was very well kept and everything seemed very clean and up to par. I would highly recommend John's to anyone who has children or is planning a children's party/event. The money really does go a long way here!

Went on a weekday afternoon and the place was really empty. Even for a downtime though I was pleasantly surprised that the food was fresh and the kept refilling all of the pizzas. For an all you can eat pizza place you really get what you pay for. A salad bar, some pasta, some pizza and desert. Will be back again when I am craving as much pizza as i can eat.

They need to rename this place "John's Mediocre Pizza Company." It's not bad pizza, but it certainly isn't GOOD by any stretch, let alone incredible. This place is, for all intents and purposes, an all-you-can-eat Little Caesar's buffet. If you can stomach Little Caesar's you may enjoy the pizza here. Everyone else should probably think twice before eating here. There's a salad bar, a pasta bar, a pizza bar, and a dessert bar. The salad bar is actually pretty decent, if standard fare... for what they actually had available, that is. When I came here, they were "completely out" of half the salad bar accouterments, including Bleu Cheese dressing. That didn't stop them from putting Thousand Island in the Bleu Cheese spot with a ladle marked Bleu Cheese. That was an unpleasant surprise. If all things were equal (they're not - read on), I'd definitely pick the salad bar here over Soup Plantation. The pasta bar is decent if you stick to the stuff with separate sauces. The pre-mixed pasta was dry and nasty. On the other hand, the soups weren't bad at all. I actually liked the Pasta Fagioli quite a bit. The bread sticks, though, are apparently made from lead. They were heavy, dense, tasteless, and nasty. The pizza (what, you thought I forgot about the pizza?) was not good... but not awful either. It's solidly straddles that fine imaginary line between "not good" and "not bad." It's what we in the nerd biz would call a resounding "meh." The Garlic Pesto Pepperoni was definitely the best of the pizzas I tried, although I was also intrigued by the Fiesta pizza (which, my whole table agreed, tasted like Taco Bell on a pizza). Almost universally, the problem with the pizza is that it was bland, dry, and doughy. I tried ordering a pepperoni with extra sauce a few times, but was told that they would have to wait until the current special request was gone. Needless to say, I never got my special request, and the current special requests sucked. For $22 for two adults, I'll get an XL at Round Table Pizza instead. Round Table is a million times better, and one Round Table XL for two people is essentially all-you-can-eat anyway. The dessert bar is about as disgusting as you might expect of a buffet full of families and children. Soft serve smeared and splattered everywhere, vile "cheesecake" that bears no resemblance to cheesecake, cakey disgusting brownies... but there's at least one nice surprise. They make funnel-cake donuts fresh constantly, coated with powdered sugar. They're surprisingly good... but considering this place wants to be known for their pizza, where are the desert pizzas? So here's the short hit: the place isn't totally disgusting, but neither are they good. The decor is snazzy, and very Disney-esque. The gaming area is also pretty cool for the young or young-at-heart (like a post-pubescent Chuck-E-Cheese's)... but the food is extraordinary only in it's mediocrity. Also, if you come here on a weekend for dinner (like I did), expect them to be out of a lot of food items... expect it to be wall-to-wall crowded... and expect there to be veritable legion of filthy little kiddlins racing about unsupervised - spilling, throwing, and manhandling food in the buffet lines (saw this more than once. Yuck). In their defense, the JIPC staff seems to be all over messes the INSTANT they happen. They're also good about keeping your tables clean. I commend them for that. As I've said before, if you want TRULY incredible pizza - go to Round Table. But if you have kids to entertain and don't mind bland, TV-dinner-quality food in a completely insane setting - give Johns Mediocre Pizza Company a try. Everyone else should probably just avoid this place.

There was literally no food to eat may be two slices of pizza for the whole section and a spoon full of pasta to choose from (if there was any pasta in the bowl)...it was not like it was busy... and don't dare ask anything to the manager the guy was a smart ass to everyone... It was so bad my family had to eat in shifts because there was not enough food .. Been here several times and we always have a good time. The food is not bad for a buffet. It has a salad, pasta, pizza, and dessert bar. There's a huge game room that we like but you gotta be prepared to spend a lot of money in there. This place is great when not crowded but I don't think I would dare to go on a Friday night or Saturday/Sunday afternoon.

The first time I tried this place was in Montclair... whew! now THAT was a drive for cheap pizza. ...and now they opened one where I live? It felt weird to be one of the few who has heard about this pizza chain... I give it four stars because it's a great price for AYCE pizza (~$10, no games). Stay away from the pastas - they always look super stale and drowned in oil. My favorite pizza is the BBQ Chicken and I like to walk over to the salad bar and put fresh red onion on top of it :) MMM! My friend likes to get the Hawaiian Pizza and put fresh jalapenos on that! mmmm again! The little funnel cake donut was good too... after I squished all the oil out in a napkin. However, I usually only go here for kiddy parties or with a group of friends - never for a date... Too many little kids running around. Stay away from the Toon-Cartoon-something room, if you can.

I've had my son's birthday party here twice. Really great food but they do seem to rush the party. The price is great, around $300 for a group of 25 people. Includes 2 hrs. of room time, food and drinks, hosted so they have activities for the kids and also includes a card to play the games. So much fun for the kids and alot cleaner than Chuck E Cheese. I would definately recommend it!!

I can't give a fair review right now because I paid $12 for a buffet where I stayed for about 30 minutes. They place is huge! They have 4 rows of buffets, dessert, pizza, salad bar, and pasta/stuff. It's like a chuck e cheese but more spread out. Instead of a rat they have a weird looking bear. I wish I'd stayed longer to eat more and play some games! I'm a kid at heart!! I guess I'll have to update my review later, but for now it stands at 4 stars.

I won't lie. I got a bit excited when I heard about this place. All you can eat pizza? Oh hell yes! Count me in! I went during lunch time so the price was a bit cheaper and the crowd wasn't as packed. They serve many different kinds of pizza, a few pastas, ice cream, cookies, other various desserts, salads and they even have these little doughnuts that I couldn't get enough of. The pizza was pretty bland. They had a lot of variety but most of them were all pretty eh. Nothing special. Not pure crap though although the PB pizza tasted like cardboard with some nut shells on it. I didn't expect anything great since it is an all you can eat pizza. Quantity over quality I guess. The pasta was surprisingly good. Very cheesy. The best part were the doughnuts. They were made constantly and the fresh ones were the best ones. Oh so good! I must've eaten about 20 of those little things. I channeled my inner Homer Simpson. D'oh! Overall, I wouldn't try this place again. Nothing bad about it. I just don't think I'd ever crave this place.

This place is truly "Incredible.". All you can eat buffet $8.99/person with different themed dining rooms. My personal fave is the hall of fame. Sports themed room with 2 projections and 5 plasmas showing the NBA playoffs..AMAZING!! For the adults they also serve alcohol, so don't worry it's not just for kids. After you've stuffed yourself silly and enjoyed watching the game, head on over to the arcade area. Games are relatively cheap and so easy to win tickets. I think I'll be frequenting here more often.

Everyone knows that the Buena Park Mall's going downhill... (Let's face it, there are only about 15 stores that are open) I was real psyched when I saw the "plans" for this restaurant. I thought this is what'd bring back the mall. I went on a Friday night. All in all i spent about $27 dollars (the buffet and about 65 game credits) For about $10.50+ (but they added more to it because it was a Friday night and they automatically charge you $1.50 for "fountain" drinks) You have: the salad bar... (which is ok...it's kinda like a lamer version of "Souplantation") Pasta, 2 kinds of soup, and potato...(save yourself from frustration and AVOID this section by all means) Maybe I came in the wrong night but the pasta...Out of the many selections they provided...totally sucks! It's so gross! Like it's been sitting out in the cold for hours! Their beef stroganoff tasted like a day-old hamburger helper! Even the scent of the "cheesy rice" wasn't very appetizing (trust me, I'm Filipino...I should love this! lol)...in fact, it was nauseating! the pizza...(something that's quite original) they have a variety of classic toppings and down right weird toppings! My favorite was the peanut butter, pepperoni and sausage pizza! YOU CAN'T JUDGE IT IF YOU HAVEN'T TRIED IT!!! The cheeseburger pizza really tasted like cheeseburger...(it's a good thing!) I can vouch for all the pizzas! They're all quite unique and edible =p the dessert bar... GROSS! Totally gross! It's messy and the selections are limited. Slices of what they'd like to believe is cheesecake. Chocolate mousse cakes that taste like my 7-year-old cousin made from her easy bake oven. Mini-doughnuts that look like dog-poo. The typical vanilla, mixed, and chocolate frozen yogurts with rainbow sprinkles, oreos, and trust me, you can't even bother to choose because you'll get all of them on your yogurt since they're all mixed together (i don't understand why they put them in seperate containers if they're all gonna allow them to get mixed up anyways!) and what appeared to be cinnamon rolls that I couldn't bring myself to eat because of how they allowed the customers to pull them apart with their bare hands! the drinks... Why pay for them if you can get them for free? The cups just sit there waiting to be grabbed by anyone! They have typical fountain drinks...no need to elaborate. The atmosphere is what basically suckered me into going here. They have different themed rooms to dine in. Which was cool. A toon-themed room. A "cabin fever" room. A room that looks like a club. And another one that I totally forgot about. For $14.99, i got 65 game credits. The games are ok. It's like Dave and Busters had a baby with Chuck E. Cheese. Most games cost about 2 game credits to 6 game credits. So it wasn't bad. They had Deal or No Deal. Trivia Pursuit. Skee Ball. Spongebob-themed games. Racing games. A photo booth. DDR. Guitar Hero. And many typical arcade games. What made this place more special than Dave and Busters and Chuck E. Cheese is that they have bumper cars, bowling "lanes", and rides. TiPs and Comments: 1) If you ever want to spend $10 on an all you can eat pizza...then I'd recommend you go to John's Incredible Pizza. 2) Be prepared to hold yourself back from hitting kids. They're so hyper everytime I cross the buffet from and to my dining table one of them bumps into me, my tray or my cup. 3) You will get grossed out by some of the customers...I can't believe they allow people to do these things! One lady straight up cut me off from the "cheesecake" and grabbed a slice with her bare hands. A kid dunked his frozen yogurt on the rainbow sprinkles AND THEN dunked the same frozen yogurt on the crushed oreos. 4) For a recently opened restaurant, they have pretty beat-up equipment (tray holders and games) You have to stomp real hard on the dance mat (DDR) to make it work. 5) The prize selections are nothing to rave about. Nothing cool or funny or cute...just cheap-ass game prizes like a 1,500+ game credit stuffed monkey (it looks like it was bought from the 99 cents store!), and highly impossible prizes to attain like the Xbox 360, PS3 and other electronics that cost about 99,999+ game credits. For $27, I shouldn't be complaining so much. I'm one to spend on things that I don't really need. But this one is kind of an insult. The food will definitely disappoint you (except for the pizza of course!) and I suggest you go to Nickel! Nickel! if you're just after the games...it's pretty much the same stuff (except for the rides) but really...that's basically what it is.

This place is great .. I had been a couple times already, but last night I decided I'd YELP it. . PROS: Fun for the whole family Inexpensive Full Buffet with salad bar, pizza, pasta, and desserts etc ... Games are cheap, unlike a DandB or Gameworks if those are still around Location is nice, at the BP Mall and close to other shopping Open later than say Chuckie Cheese's They have huge TV rooms if the men in the family want to watch the Laker game or other sports game CONS: Is not for anyone wanting a quiet meal The food is replenished pretty fast except around 9ish when they stop replenishing since they close at 10 .. wish it was filled up till a bit later it gets VERY crowded on the weekends .. but that's not necessarily bad, JUST A TIP to people wanting to actually play games ..

I visited here for the first time saturday, i loved this place, i will never go back to chuckee cheese,unless there giving free pizza and tokens. lol. the varity was great and the prices were wonderful. The only complaint I have was the keep up in bathroom. It could have been a little better. How ever it was buisy so maybe thats the reason. I will defenitly be going back

I went to John's Incredible Pizza for the first time this week, not to eat, but to stop by a party. Since the group had an earlier reservation (and were probably already eating), I decided to bypass the line to look for them. There were no signs or staff standing by the gate to enter the restaurant, so I proceed to look for them myself. I finally found them in one of the private rooms. As I walked into the room, I was stopped by a young male employee (dark brown/black hair) who asked me if I was a walk-in or had a reservation. I told him that the people I was visiting had a reservation (obviously, I WAS in the room already). He then proceeded to tell me what I did wrong, about coming in through the walk-in line instead of the reservation line, and that I needed to 'check in' before coming in. I told him that it was my first time here and that I didn't know I was supposed to check in. I also told him that I didn't know where the reservation/check-in line was. He took me over there immediately. It was actually on the opposite side of the regular line, and this reservation/check-in line wasn't clearly marked. (Or maybe I was just confused because it was my first time there..?) Anyway, so I was there at the check-in area verifying the reservation that the group had made. I told them that I was just stopping by, and that I wasn't going to be eating with them. I was told that I had 5 minutes to stop by, or else I'd have to pay. That was fine. I understand policy. The lady at the desk then requested the male employee (the one who stopped me) to escort me to the room. I already knew where the room was (because I was just there) but he proceeded to walk me over anyway. Intended or not, he really made me feel like a criminal. I actually mentioned how I felt to him but he didn't say anything... nada... zilch. WONDERFUL. I thought about my experience on the drive back to work. I was trying to figure out why I felt so horrible and realized it was due to poor customer service and people skills. It's OK to stop customers to ask them something or to inform/correct them... BUT DO IT WITH A SMILE (!!) and DON'T MAKE THEM FEEL BAD FOR SOMETHING THEY DID NOT KNOW. APOLOGIZE for the lack of clarity before you tell a customer what they did wrong! To be honest, I would have considered paying to visit longer (even though I wasn't planning to eat), but because of the poor customer service I experienced today, I'm glad I left -- and I probably won't be coming back. Just a tip for the restaurant (I don't like complaining without offering a possible solution): It would be nice if there was a staff member (even just one) standing in between the walk-in gate, reservations/check-in gate, and the actual restaurant/eating area to greet and direct people as needed. This way, you will avoid offending new customers that don't know where they're going, and possibly get more business (and positive reviews). OH! an even a better tip -- please tell your staff members (especially the ones working in customer service/reservations) to SMILE. That is all.

We celebrated our son's 6th birthday here with children between the ages of 2-11 at the party. Online booking and guest list management was convenient. We had 35 guests with children and adults combined. We provided the cake but everything else was set. We were late to our start time, so when our party hosts reviewed the schedule for the party, we opted to skip opening of presents to provide more time to eat and socialize. The balloon animals were really cute and the party host-led games were fun! Drink pitchers were served so we wouldn't have to walk back and forth for refills. IncrediBear paid a visit for picture taking opportunities. The party hosts led the birthday song and cut the cake after our son blew out the candles. The food was great, fresh, and plentiful. The kids' funcards were provided at the end of our time in the party room. The gifts were packed in large bags and the leftover cake was held in the refrigerator until we were ready to go home. Our group spent another hour playing in the gaming and ride area. The adults had just as much fun as the kids! It was a great choice to have the birthday party at Johns Incredible Pizza Company!

I've been hoping and praying a savior would come to the Buena Park Mall and get some decent foot traffic going. (I've also been waiting for the owner to finally give up, sell or otherwise scrap the place and start over) After going to John's Incredible Pizza I'm still optimistic that this mall can be salvaged, maybe... On entry I was herded in to a series of zigzag gates into a line that meandered up to the registers for entry. You see, you can't go here without paying for a buffet meal. I do find that to be a bit disappointing. You can't just come here for the games...well, you can, but as I said you've got to blow $9.00 for an adult just to get in. After waiting in the creeping line we finally made it up to the register and paid for out dinners and drinks and bought a card for the games. $14.95 for 65 game credits. (most games here are 2-4 credits to play). The buffet was a mad house. People milling around every which way and though it looks like there should be a flow to the buffet stations, everyone was just popping in and out of the stations to just get what they wanted. As I'm timid about just pushing my way through people to get what I want I often had to wait as people cut in front of me to snag food. After getting a tray full of grub and a soda, I went to find a dining room. They are quite a few and each one is themed with televisions' playing shows to match the theme. There was a sport bar set up, a cartoon room, one playing movies, one a little surfer like playing extreme sports and finally a nice quiet cabin room. The only one I noticed that didn't have any TVs. Settling down in this room my boyfriend and I tried out all of our food: Salad: eh...it's a salad, not great, and not horrible. The breadstick however was delicious. Nice hint of a crisp when you bite into it with a soft chewy center. These sticks are heavy and hearty. I also took a bite of the two pasta salads my boyfriend picked up. The one that looks like it could have been tossed in a pesto like sauce was okay. The other one was oddly sweet and I didn't like it at all. Pasta/Soup/Potatoes: I didn't bother with the potatoes or the soup. The only thing I got here was the mac-and-cheese. It looks like a dry version of the Kraft mac-and-cheese, very orange with elbow macaroni. I liked it fairly well. Most of the other pasta looked a lot like the "box stuff" to me and I didn't bother trying it. Besides, I wanted to get to the good stuff...the Pizza! Pizza: I have to say I had low expectations for the pizza and I was happily surprised. They cut the pizza up into small little slices so you can try a bunch. One side of the buffet had "original" pizzas and the other side was very traditional. All of the pizzas had a nice crisp crust just like the bread sticks and were a bit chewy inside. I tried margherita, garlic alfredo, spicy peanut butter and pepperoni and Hawaiian. I liked them all fairly well and the spicy peanut butter pizza was delicious. Who knew? Completely full like after a thanksgiving dinner we waddled out to try the games. I didn't think too much of the games when I first walked through but after playing a couple I got hooked. Its' like a gateway to Vegas for little kids....very addicting if you have a gambling mindset. Now most of the games are ticket games. Play for the chance to win tickets that you can redeem them for prizes. Most of the prizes aren't fantastic but as you play you get the itch to win more and more tickets. All in all we spent about three hours here I could go on and on about describing the place but it's worth while to check it out for yourself.

My daughter has her 7th birthday here on Oct 21, 2012 from 1 to 4 pm and she and her berry bitty friends LOVES this place VERY MUCH!!! Not sure WHY the bad reviews in Yelp. Service at Birthday Party entrance is friendly and helpful. The party room hostess is courteous and friendly and quite good with kids. One thing I would like is for the party time to be 2 hrs instead of 1 hr 45 min. My guests arrived late because they used the mall front entrance and they were having a hard time finding parking spot. I some how got lost and parked at the back of the mall and parking were much easier to find, plenty and closer. The pizzas are piping hot, fresh and surprising good! The pasta bar is OKAY, salad bar is okay, soup station, only 2 kinds and I didn't like the choices, so did not taste but it does look okay. The dessert bar is good selection with a soft serve ice cream and the beverage station is GREAT as it has has Icee and coffee & cappuccino. The games are quite good as you can ask for the redemption tix to be saved electronically so no need to feed to the tix booth. I like the bumper car and have a great time riding one. I am GLAD that it isn't over-crowded with people that afternoon. I would definitely come back here if the crowd is like what I experienced on this 1st visit in John's Incredible Pizza(JIP). One thing I would suggest improvement is for the bus-person of each themed room to be more customer oriented by taking the initiative to clean the tables and take away used plates while guests are dining and in return, I hope we as customers should leave a tip for the room bus-person as they do work hard. Sincerely hope that this place can eventually has the kind of dine service like Soup Plantation. My kids LOVE Soup Plantation(SP) but SP has no amusements and if JIP is able to re-market its dining room service to create a better service and high quality foods for dined in guests, that would be a DREAM SOUP PLANTATION WITH LOTS OF FUN & HEALTH!!!!

I recently came here for my 19th birthday, and let me tell you, before I chose this place I had so many other contenders: All-You-Can-Eat sushi, water parks, etc. But the thing that got me about this place was that it was a Pizza Buffet. A PIZZA. BUFFET. Plus, it had all the rides and games any child or child-at-heart would love. HOWEVER, reading all the recent reviews on Yelp scared the buh-jeezuz out of me, because all they seemed to consist of was how bad the food was, or how messy the buffet was, or how dirty the games were. So you can imagine how scared I was when my friends and I first walked into the place. I'm happy to say that I was proven wrong :) The thing that you should note about this place is that if you aren't a child at heart, this is NOT the place for you. Nor is it a place for anyone who has no patience for children, marginally messy (and I say "marginally" because they GET CLEANED EVENTUALLY) buffet lines, or anyone looking for old-school arcade games like "Jurassic Park" or "Street Fighter." If you don't mind any of those, nor do you mind fancifully creative pizza flavors, amusing themed rooms, an AMAZING Twister/Swing ride, bumper cars, and "Let's Go Jungle!", a faux (but FUN!) version of "Jurassic Park", then by all means go crazy! I am proof that you don't need to be 12 or under to enjoy this place. Just make sure you love to have fun and have a need to sate that inner child.

John's Incredible Pizza has great food variety, fantastic dining rooms, and an unbelievable game room. Chucky Cheese's will be out of business soon. All that being said, don't go on weekends. 1. The only room your kids will want is the Cartoon Room, and there's NEVER enough tables. 2. Buena Park is very "cultured", so expect to be cut off, pushed around, elbowed, and walked on if you fall down. This isn't Brea or Yorba Linda. 3. $50 for lunch and a game card with points? That's $200 per month if you go every weekend. Maybe rotating back to the Chucky Cheese's across the street might be a better plan. 4. Yuck - a small piece of plastic in my chicken and dumplings soup last night! It wasn't that big of a deal, but come on. Lost my appetite. 5. Finally did get into the Cartoon Room, but couldn't hear the cartoons over the ROAR of noise. 6. WTF with the bowling. Don't waste your time unless you have an extra tent handy in the car you can take with you. We've been 8 times already and have yet had an opportunity to play. I'm screwed. My kids love the place. Last night was my wife's last night, she won't be going back. I guess I'm on my own. Please reduce the cost of the alcohol, you'd be doing us less thrilled parents a huge favor.

What can I say, I'm a fan. Although I come strictly for the buffet, I do appreciate the games and rides. It adds much to the already fun atmosphere. There is a great variety of pizza, plus pasta, baked potatoes, soup, salad, and desserts. Don't see the kind of pizza you like? (But you probably will.) Fill out a special request form and they will make you your pizza to your exacting specifications and no extra cost! How cool is that? My favorite: spicy peanut pizza. I guess I'll never grow up. Alcoholic beverages are available, so don't be afraid to come here, there is truly something for everyone.

Well I was kind of forced to go to this location for my first time for my son's basketball team's luncheon. So as soon as I arrived I noticed this huge line with about 20-30 families waiting to get in. That was just ridiculous standing outside like I was waiting to get into an amusement park. The prices were kind of up there but it's a buffet and they have tons of games for the kids. When I went to the buffet it was so disappointing it seemed like all the kids raced over and grabbed everything with their hands and had a food fight. The pizza selections were weak and the flavor was terrible it made Little Caesar's taste like gourmet. The pasta looked and tasted as if it had been out all day and I would have gave them that if I didn't just witness the employee just put it out. I do understand that it is a kid's restaurant but I have gone to many of Chucky cheeses and kids spots in my days as a father of three to make me realize that this was just unacceptable. I didn't complain cause the quality of the food out was something that could not be fixed in one day. So I guess if you have to go to this place play the games but eat before you go.

Ok...I've read some of the reviews and I'll admit, I was hesitant about going (despite really WANTING to go after receiving a "welcome to the neighborhood" postcard from them). I had been eye calling the website for a couple of months before getting another friend and her son to tag along (bring a friend if you don't plan on playing games with your kids like I usually do at Chuck E. Cheese - from here on out known as CEC). It was easy to locate (because you can't miss the bright colors that beckon you to come inside and check it out). Once inside (after having to locate an elevator because my little one was in a stroller), we were greeted by a LONG line that looked like the wrapping kind you see at amusement parks. It went quickly since it was lunchtime and looked like a zoo BEHIND the gates. I stood in line with anticipation because I could see inside and it looked so exciting! So yeah, I got duped into buying a VIP card (because I knew I'd end up coming back and it only made sense). My boys would enjoy playing the games so I got the $24.99 game card package that comes with like 119 game credits or something. The whole thing cost me a little over $50 (about $10 more than I usually spend at CEC). Before locating a table, we took a short tour of the place and I was IMPRESSED! It was crowded (because we were there at 1:00pm on a SATURDAY), but it wasn't a MAD HOUSE, unlike CEC where it's small and LOUD due to the number of people crammed inside. There were cool carnival-like rides and enough space between the games that people weren't on top of one another. From what I saw, the party rooms are a little on the small side. Some people showed up and MADE themselves a party site by bunching up tables, bringing cake and balloons. Now let's talk about the FOOD! I LOVE PIZZA!! For an AYCE place, the pizza isn't bad and definitely better than CEC. I didn't eat the pasta, but my daughter enjoyed it. I had a really good salad, a few slices of pizza and a cookie. For the first time, my kids wiped the plates CLEAN! They didn't leave a crumb, a smudge or ANYTHING behind. They serve alcohol (beer and wine), have a coffee bar (not Starbucks, but if you need a jolt, it's there) and I was able to let my boys run free without worrying about them. We ended up being there from 1:00pm - 5:30pm. The kids are lucky if they get to stay at CEC for longer than 90 minutes. I HATE that place. This is a fabulous place to get your friends together who have kids and let them run free while you visit with your buddies. I'll never take my kids to CEC ever again after this experience. I wouldn't even mind going once a month...I will definitely go back!! BRAVO to the person who brought this fantastic idea to fruition!

Very interesting place. Its actually located on the bottom floor of the mall. As you walk in, you have to follow this gated trail to pay. Its an All You Can Eat place. So you have to pay the All You Can Eat rate. You then walk in and there are about i think 6 different themed rooms (i.e cabin fever, fustion, toon town, hall of fame). The food is buffet style where they only have pastas, pizzas, salads, and deserts. The pizza can be special ordered too. They are known for their spicy peanut butter pizza. I only gave it 3 stars because it was my first time there and i went on a thursday night. I had to wait for the food to be ready since it was always out and also a fire alarm went off announcing everyone to leave the building because there was a fire in the mall. When we evacuated, we noticed that people were still paying and the cashiers was taking their money. So we tried to get back in. Good thing we had the receipts to prove it. it was kinda like a Dave N Busters with the games, but since that whole fire drill, i ended up loosing my appetite and not wanting to check out the place.

I got to go in for free on grand opening so I can't really complain. It was just myself and my wife. I really like the ranch chicken pizza. The rest of the food seemed decent enough. It feels very clean, and if I wanted an easy way to throw a pizza party for kids, this place would probably be first on my mind. It's not like chucky cheese where you feel like there are a lot of sweaty kids running around. But honestly, if I wanted wanted JUST pizza, I'd eat somewhere else that specializes.

What a great idea! John's Incredible pizza has it all! I don't have a single complaint about this place. I'm 26 years old, and I think I enjoyed this place just as much, if not more, than the little kids, hyper on caffeine and sweets! They have a HUGE, I mean GINORMOUS selection of pizza! Very unique ones too! And if that wasn't enough for you, you can also request a pizza of any topping combination, and they'll call your name when it's ready! The pizza really is INCREDIBLE! You wonder how they make their money for such a cheap price for all you can eat, but they make it all back with their video games, haha. So we walked in, and our eyes just peeled wide open! Waiting in line to buy your buffet ticket and game card is like waiting in line at Disneyland! After getting our day pass, I walked inside...simply amazed at how many different rooms I had to choose from to enjoy my food. There's a room for everyone! Boring, to extreme, and everything in between! It's sooo cool! It didn't take long to walk through the game room, as there weren't so many games to choose from, but who cares!? The food is where it's at! I've been there twice, and will surely pay other locations a visit.

Just went here for the first time over the weekend and I was quite surprised how much fun I had. However, keep in mind that I kept my expectations low anticipating an experience like Chuck E Cheese. If you haven't been here, it's great for kids. To get in, you have to pay to get in in the form of buying a buffet ticket for everyone in your party so bring your appetite. Price: Two Adults & 1 child plus two 65 credit cards = $60 bucks. About $20 bucks for the two adults, $7 bucks for the child, and $30 worth of game cards. Food: Was mediocre, tons of different types of pizzas, pasta bar, salad bar, soup bar, desert bar. Atmosphere: Crowded! We went on a Sunday and the place was jammed pack. They have about 6 different themed dining rooms to choose from - very cool! Games: You load up a game card (like Dave & busters) and use it to play games after you've eaten. Games that reward you with tickets will be added to your card so you don't have to carry around a ton of tickets like Chuck E Cheese. They have tons of games for kids & adults of all ages and all the games were functioning the day we were there - very cool! Rides: They have a few rides such as a spinning thingy, bumper cars, a small boat ride for kids (it moves back and fourth), and a small bowling alley. One thing I wanted to highlight is how clean they keep this place (even the bathrooms) considering the amount of foot traffic they get. If you have kids and want something a step above Chuck E Cheese, definitely try this place out but don't go in expecting a 5-Star meal. :)

Went to this place for my nephew's birthday party. The place was really packed but there was still a lot of room to get to the food and gaming areas. I would rather come to this place instead of Chuck E. Cheese. This place is like a mixture of that plus D&B. Next time I come I would like to try the peanut butter chicken pizza.

We decided to try this place after seeing it being built. I thought it might be like CiCi's pizza, Well it wasn't anything like that. The price just wasn't worth it. Most buffets include your drinks. Not here! The salad bar was good. The problems started when I got to the pasta bar. The pasta was cold! I don't mean pasta salad cold. I mean sitting out too long cold. I then ventured over to the pizza bar. They were out of everything! We tried out the dessert bar. Can I jist say ewe! The cake was dry, the cheesecake bars were made on an oatmeal cookie, and the apple crisp was sour. The game area was cool except for the games that messed up and didn't give us our tickets. Honestly I don't think I will be going back.

THE EMPLOYEE NAMED JAZMIN. yes i called her out because she REALLY bothered me. let me start from the beginning came here w/ my bf and his son...the last time was great, except the food wasn't great, but we wanted to give it another chance. got there, it was pretty packed, but since it's big everyone was scattered, which i love becuase i love my personal space. we were playing games with my bf's son and he spotted the rides. he wanted to go on the incredibear boat, which is for kids 3-7, and had a blast and after that he wanted to go on the twister ride. ok so when you first come into the facility like i said in my previous review you have to buy a buffet to enter and if you want your kid to play games a game card. we got the $20 which was however many credits and 1 ride. when i see the 1 ride i assume that you need a different credit for rides. so i asked JAZMIN "excuse me, but i was wondering if i needed to get ride credits to go on this ride" jazmin: no answer me: "uhmm excuse me...do i need to purchase different credits to go on this ride" jazmin: while staring the other way "UHMMM NO YOU USE CREDITS" me: **thinking wtf!? why is she soooo RUDE** uh how many?" jazmin: STILL NOT LOOKING AT ME REPLIES "UGHHHH....12!!!" i replied "REALLY? you're responding to me like that? after i ask you a question nicely?" and she said: NOTHING GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR ok...seriously? i know you maybe thinking "FML...I HATE MY JOB" but sorry it's your job...you work with children and parents...and if you don't like it quit. i was SO UPSET...she put me in the worst mood. after my bf and his son rode the ride i was so mad...it's like did i just pay a lot of money for CRAP food, expensive games and rides to be treated like trash? i really never want to come back...honestly i won't come back for a very long time. management need to have a monthly meeting with all their staff and need to evaluate them. i understand that most of these kids are in high school and they think they're "TOO COOL" for this job, but HEY this is a children's place...maybe management need to think about this and hire people who care about their job and actually like children. on a side note: the food did get better...but it's not worth coming here if you get treated like trash by a teenager.

The Good: This is probably one of the best buffets you'll find for the low price. They have a lot of different selections of salads, pasta, pizza, and dessert. This place is also huge! There are five different theme rooms where you can eat your food (more info on their website). The games are actually cheaper than most arcades and it doesn't get too crowded since they spaced the games out well. It also has a mini bowling alley, a small ride, and bumper cars. If you're not having a good time, they also sell some beer. I am definitely coming back. The Bad: I mean just a few obnoxious and hyper kids here and there, but what'd you expect? Try: coming here for lunch from 10-3 on the weekdays when the buffet is under $7. Good deal. Try their original peanut butter pizza. Tastes unusually good. Don't Try: buying the game card inside. Buy it when you buy your buffet because you'll save money.

This place is great. They have all kinds of pizzas. AND its a buffet so you can try one of everything!! They have this one that's called spicy peanut butter. It sounded weird but it was actually tasty. They use peanut butter as the sauce. Believe me it's not as bad as it sounds...Here are a few of the other choices: Alfredo, cheese burger pizza, nacho, vegetarian, mac n cheese pizza, combo, bbq chicken and a few more..they have baked potatoes, soups, chili's, spaghetti, mac and cheese, alfredo, pesto bow ties pasta..and a dessert and salad bar. CARBS GALORE. They also serve beer and wine. lots of fun games for kids (of all ages) cute themed rooms. One has a HUGE big screen..where u can watch the game! Another is the KIDS theater where they can watch cartoons. They have "bumper car" like rides. seems fun! ALL FOR under 10.00 (for the food/entrance) you have to pay first in order to get in..but I think it's well worth it. Kids would love this place..family friendly..kindda HECTIC but fun. the reason i gave it 3 stars is it's really not my first choice of food or restaurant but my friend wanted to give it a try. If you like the chuck e cheese/Dave and busters scene, you'll LOVE this place! great seating, flat screens, BUFFET, clean and lots of fun arcade games! **friendly and efficient workers too!! =)

ZERO STARS- we came in to attend my nephew's birthday and was initially impressed of how big the area is but soon realized it's too much chaos inside. No child safety so you cannot leave your child alone to play. You may find your child went home with somebody else. We were playing with the machines and some of it scans and charge your card but wont work. The finale was my kid won 500 tickets at one machine and about 10 tickets came out. I called one of the staff and he looked into it and saw that there were tickets inside. He said "i will have the supervisor talk to you because we have issues with this machine". And then scanned his ticket and pushed the play button and 5 tickets came out. He then said "the machine is working fine, i will have a supervisor talk to you". After a few minutes, a lady came and said, "i will reimburse you for the credit you played". And i said "you're not going to give the 500 tickets that we won?". She said "no, because the machine is working fine". We argued about it and then in the end she said "i will give you 2 options 1. You don't get anything 2. I will reimburse you for the amount you used to play". What was she thinking? Either way i don't have any options. My daughter was very disappointed and i told the staff that the game is rigged and left. She said "have a nice day". Talking about adding insult to injury. Who would have a nice day with what happened. We ended up going home. What was supposed to be a fun day became a nightmare. So don't go to this place if you want to have fun. All you will get is dissappointment.

My daughter just loves to go here, first we eat then she plays the games, then we eat again. I would describe John's Incredible Pizza Company as Chuck E Cheese on steroids. John's is so much better than Chuck E Cheese as far as games and food is concerned. The staff is very nice and helpful. John's is a great place for families and the staff keeps John's very clean too.

I only give this place one star because I have to in order to Yelp about it. I went there innocently enough with my party of 9, first time for all of us on 12/27/2011. Our party ages ranged from 35 years old to 13 months. We stayed for four hours and the kids had a great time. Between munching on the pizza and other buffet items and game play they had no complaints. We arrive home, within two hours the first child complains of a stomach ache. She runs to the bathroom unable to hold her composure for much longer. along with the diarrhea came projectile vomiting all night. She is 6 years old. Then the next child has diarrhea with vomiting. He is 7 years old. The baby - his entire diaper is soiled up to his back with poop...DO I really need to continue?? It was a nightmare. adults and children alike were sick and vomiting after leaving this place. I will never go to this place again. Thank goodness none of the children ended up with severe dehydration or something worse, but that experience is a direct reflection on quality of the services being rendered at John's Incredible Pizza. I am already in touch with the Department of Health. Management ignored my complaint-calling it a fluke.

This place is awesome! I brought my daughter & nephew here on a Sunday & it wasn't too crowded. You have to pay for the buffet in order to get in & sodas are included in the all you can eat price. They sell beer & wine which is extra but you can sit & eat in several different rooms. We chose the game room which had the football games on =] I only gave it 4 stars because the one in Montclair is wayy bigger.

So this is totally meant to be a kids arcade and all you can eat place, but when I read the reviews I wanted to go. My friend and I were at Knotts and after we wanted to go get dinner somewhere. I told her how I had read about the place on Yelp but she wasn't in a buffet mood so she didn't really feel like going. I finally convinced her to go and after paying $8.99 for the dinner buffet and $1.50 for unlimited sodas, we were in. The food was a lot better than I thought it was. There was pizza, pasta, salad, soup, and dessert with a variety of drinks. The pizza was really good and they had a bunch of fun ones for the kids such as mac and cheese pizza, and different ones such as spicy peanut pizza. The pasta was good and there was different kinds. I liked the alfredo personally and then the alfredo pizza was magnificent. I had two slices, one only had the sauce toward the end and the other had it most of the way through. I guess it depends on who makes it and how much sauce they put into it. Also there bread sticks are amazing. If you like Olive Garden's breadsticks, then you are sure to like these. They may be close to even being better. The dessert part is one of the bests for sure. They have fresh donuts, soft serve ice cream, chocolate chip cookies, cheese cake, chocolate brownies, and apple cobbler. I was the complete fat ass and put vanilla ice cream with both the apple cobbler and the cookies. HAHA. The cheese cake is really good too. So once you have your arrangement of food, there are different rooms that you can eat in. There is cabin fever, fusion, hall of fame, a toon room, and vertical. Cabin fever is my favorite because they have the total feel of a cabin (I think this room is more for the adults because it is quieter and more relaxing.) They have a fire place and there are moose on the lamps. Also on the booths there are fish and "gone fishing" phrases on them. Who could ask for anything better? The hall of fame has sports on and I haven't eaten in that room so that is all I can tell you about it. The toon room has cartoons playing and the floor is always sticky. Fusion has the more artsy feel to it and plays music and music videos so it is relaxing if there aren't screaming children. Luckily when my friend and I ate in the room, there was barely anyone in there so we got to actually hear the music. Vertical is a room where there are surf boards and it has more of a tiki feel to it. Moving on to the arcade... it is big which is nice and it has a different variety of games. It has deal or no deal which seems to be a favorite. Most of the games give out tickets where you can get prizes from. The credits for the games are all on a fun card which costs you twenty-five cents. You can use the same card every time and it holds all your tickets on it. The prizes range from good to bad. It is kind of funny being older and noticing how stuffed animals are a lot more and the same value as a board game. Yes when I was little, I would have definitely gone for the stuffed animal and probably did at different arcades. Anyway, there are also rides there and the one in Buena Park only has bumper cars and this twister ride but apparently the other ones have more. One credit is twenty-five cents. I think the most a game is is two dollars but they can go fast so the card can be spent pretty fast as well. So far my friend and I have been there twice and have almost already spent one hundred dollars on food and the credits. It is bad but we have fun so it works out in the end. Also they have a VIP card which can either be worth it or not worth it depending on how many times you go. It is five dollars so if you go more than a couple times it pays for itself because you get a spin that can give you stuff every time you go. Just know that when you register you have to stand by the most annoying, loudest thing ever and it didn't even work for me. I had to stand there for like fifteen minutes while one of the workers had to figure it out. It makes sounds of glass shattering and a jumping bear. Also there is a shirt of a bear that says "Will Dance for Food." There is a good feeling that I may be purchasing that sometime in the future. Overall, this place is amazing and it is better than a chuckie cheese because it isn't as loud and annoying and there isn't poop everywhere. It isn't as pricey as a Dave and Busters so it makes it nice even though you probably end up spending the same amount you would. The only thing you have to get over is it can get super crowded and with a bunch of little children running around, the line for a game can get long and you have to wait for the food especially when there are a bunch of birthday parties going on.

NOT COOL when you have an excited 5 year old, a toddling 2 year old, and a newborn. Prices: Adults Monday-Friday 11am-3pm: $6.99 Evenings and Weekends: $8.99 Seniors 55+: $1 off adult prices Unlimited Beverages: $1.50 Children Ages 3-6: $4.49 Ages 7-12: $5.99 2 and under: FREE with paying adult Unlimited Beverages: $1.50 Food Selection/Quality: It reminded me of Souplantation, but with meat toppings on their pizzas. They had a great salad bar, but scant on the fruit (canned peaches), 8-10 different types of pizza; including Alfredo, Nacho, Hamburger, BBQ Chicken pizza and more. They also had a pretty tasty dessert bar including fresh made mini doughnuts (reminds me of Ascot Racetrack, Gardena, CA circa 1980s*), 'your typical buffet chocolate cake' (dry,stale, no good), Apple Crisp, soft serve ice cream, and other mini desserts. Each station (SALAD, PIZZA AND PASTA, DESSERTS, BEVERAGES) was "pridefully clean" (meaning the cooks that prepared the items in that station prepared it in front of us guests). Each station was 1/2 set up, I assume during lunch, less items are made... dinner probably has more to choose from. Did I mention it is 'all you can eat'? I eat every two hours (and then some) so it's perfect for my stomach... I ate when I got there, and ate when I left! Dining: I was surprised to see over 4 large rooms to choose from...each themed to a kiddo's perfection (and adults too, I might add). We chose the "Toon Room", which you guessed it---showed cartoons such as 'Old School Bugs Bunny' and 'the New Adventures of Scooby Doo' on two large projection TV screens, and ample smaller TVs. John's Incredible Pizza Co. looked like it held over 75 guest in each themed room. The other rooms included a sports room, a room that seemed to show a strange older woman doing '80s aerobics (not is a perverted way, just comical), and a few other rooms. Each room was clean and kiddo friendly. Gaming: The game card was $19.99 for 90 points (with purchase of a meal at entry), the price per card while in the game room is $20 for 80 points. Each game varies from 2-8 points. Most of the games Evan liked (age 3) were 2 points. The ticket value was a better deal than CEC, each game Evan played earned him at least 8-10 tickets! We spent 40 points and earned 366 tickets. When it comes down to it, for us and most parents, it's all about the money... I don't think it's somewhere I'd take Evan every week, but as a special treat---it definitely beats going to just a restaurant. For example: my dad, Evan, and I went to Don Jose's recently and ordered a soup and salad special each, Evan ordered a kiddo's quesadilla meal. The total was $35 and change including tip, then we went to Baskin Robbins and had ice cream for $8 and change... Today at John's Pizza, Evan and I spent $32 including a $19.99-90 point card. It was almost the same price, not including another adult! If you add yourself to the email list online, you'll receive 10 free points when you visit for the first time. Make sure you don't add yourself to the emailing list until you plan to go, as the coupon expires 7 days from when you apply.

I was pleasantly surprised about this venue for a kids party. Some background: 10 kids, ages ranged from 3-7 and about 8 parents for the morning session from 10-1145. We arrived, sight unseen. Cringing to the thought of a Chuck E Cheese-ish experience. Hoping for the worst, we came out feeling like a million bucks. The venue was immense, vast seating rooms, ample buffet access, private party rooms, clean facilities, clean restrooms, amazing - just amazing. High marks to our host, Briza, and as everyone left with smiles on their faces, we breathed a sigh of relief. Costs were manageable, the host was fun with her own party games and balloon animals. The rides were fun and age-appropriate. The food was not bad as well - again come with low expectations and you'll leave just fine. The salad bar was fresh and the baked potato bar was great. The desserts were terrific. Of course their pizzas are the big draw with so many cool version - nacho, alfredo, peanut butter which I had to try out, etc...again perfectly fun and a great experience all around to give it high praise. My recommendation if you are to book a party, do it in the morning like we did, the first set of times - I believe that 10am or 1030. It's great - everything's fresh and clean, servers/hosts are awake and refreshed, and you don't have to fight the mad rush of general admission people that come during the noontime hour. We were leaving after a busy three hours and the general admission line was at least 50 people deep, just to get in! So yes, the early private party room is the way to go for a party.

better than chuckie cheese, I tell you. I went today and it was cool. My favs were the bumper cars and the other ride. Not the kiddie ride, they wouldnt let me on. they said I was too big. Pro(s): Good/interesting selection of pizza, different dining spaces, clean, arcade games, game cards, good for groups Con(s): Slow pizza refills, small selection of other food items, for younger age groups (5-13?) ----- Pump yourself with carbs and then burn them all off playing arcade games all in one place! The food is served buffet-style and there are multiple dining rooms, each with a different theme. My friends and I actually migrated to three of them before calling it quits on the delicious varieties of pizza and pastas. I wouldn't call the food great but it was definitely filling and there are definitely interesting pizza "flavors," like peanut butter. If you find an empty pizza pan though, expect to wait awhile until there's more of that flavor. The only problem I had with my visit here was that it's for families or younger children. My friends and I were celebrating another friend's eighteenth birthday and she wanted to try this place since none of us could join her at Dave and Buster's (She was the first out of all of us to turn eighteen), so there was significant dodging of rowdy, little munchkins. We racked up on tickets in the arcade while we waited for the crowds doing the good stuff: the bowling alleys and bumper cars. The bowling alleys were a little faulty, but it was still an enjoyable game area. Ultimately, this place is a fun place to go with a group if you're still a Chuck E. Cheese kind of kid. It's a little pricey but you can hang around the mall this place is attached to if you decide that you aren't a Chuck E. Cheese kid.

This is a great place for families with kids. The prices are low, and it is huge! The food was great (AYCE) i.e. many Pizza options, Salad Bar, Bread and Pasta Bar, Dessert Bar, and all (AYCD) fountain options. Plus they have beer between $3-5 and wines I think was $6. Kids under 3 get in FREE! This place is an off the globe Chuckie Cheese Killer! You will never visit Chuckie Cheese again. Plus, I dont think the kids or adults would want too. They have rides, video games, places for kids to just play amongst the excitement. There are kids parties all over the place. They have 5 extra large rooms with different themes to fit your tastes, and of course the kids choice. We had a blast! Only draw back was waiting in line. But we didnt wait too long. It was like amusement park lines. Our wait was about 35mins. on a saturday nite 730pm. They close at 11pm on Saturdays, which was cool, cause the time flew by so fast with so much going on. Now, the room themes go from very calm to crazy excitement! Considering they serve beer, one of the rooms is sports themed "Hall of Fame" with very large big screens all over, showing sports. We stayed in the Fusion room which play music videos all nite. Toon Time room played a bunch of cartoons, which happened to be the most popular for kids. But it was crowded so we skipped that one. Cabin Fever room is the one which is very mellow, with a fireplace, its just chill and less than noisy for the most part. The games were alot of fun for the kids. They use a plastic card which is loaded with game tokens (so no actual token jingling in your pockets or dropping on the floor), thats a plus for me being the token holder. lol. Johns Incredible Pizza is just east right down the street from Knotts Berry Farm, you can still see the Roller Coasters at Knotts from the Parking lot at Johns Incredible Pizza. Near the freeway around the corner just off the 91 Frwy you have Movie Land Wax Museum, Medievil Times & Pirates Adventure. Pretty cool area for family fun and entertainment. Next we will hit (A Kiddie- like Disneyland for Toddlers) called Adventure City, also in Buena Park.

There aren't many places adults can go for some light hearted arcade fun. Sure, many can say Dave & Busters - but on my last visit to D&B I watched a 8 y/o blast a whole troop of baddies from her little stool. (Kind of disturbing.) A lot of D/B's games are first person shooters - not much variety. I am reviewing John's Incredible Pizza Company solely on the availability of a variety of games and rides that are not availabe at other comparable joints. The food was typical for a buffet - more quantity than quality. Here are some of the games we sampled: -Whack a Shark - Bumper Cars - Mini Bowling - Skeeball - Baseball/Basketball toss - Alien Squashing (on a floor screen) - DDR (first time in my life) - First Person Shooter Games - Racing Games - Air Hockey Table What I did not sample: - Tumbler - Kiddie Rides - Trivia or Ticket/Prize Oriented Games We spent 2.5 hours running around like maniacs and still had plenty of credits to repeat several games. The arcade/fun zone is a great value and caters to those that appreciate some variety. If you have some time to burn or feeling nostalgic - give John's a try.

You know how nobody goes to Hooters for the food? Well, I don't think people really go here for the food either. It's a louder than hell, game fest with little rooms where you can have family parties with pizza buffet. I didn't think the pizza was bad at all, and you can order your personalized toppings pizza too. They have a salad bar with fruit, and it's pretty good. What's nice about the food and party rooms is you can actually get away from the outrageous noise (unlike chucky C). I went here for a party, had a great time. Some of the games didn't work, the game area (there's even a ride) got on my nerves occasionally with all the racket, but overall, I think this is a fun place to host a party. And the food is better than Hooter's.

This place was boring as hell, my kids have more fun at chuck e chesee's. I wasted 60 dollars for me and my 2 boys on something not worth it. The food was worse than hospital or airplane food. All they have is pasta and pizza, with one plate your done( tiny slices). The games needed a lot of credits and there is only 3 rides LMAO. I was so pissed on the way out that I wanted a fudging refund. I will go to Chuck E. Cheese or Boomers next time. Trust my review, you will be bored and ripped off at the end. the bowling is 1/4 the size of a real bowling alley and nobody operates the rides unless you call someone LMFAO. Fudge this place!!!!!

I had my sons 8th b-day here on June 6 th. 48 people all had a great time. I had 3 rooms reserved and it was clean, the 2 girls assigned to our party made great balloon bracelets for the little girls that looked like flowers or ladybugs. The staff played games and even cut the cake, (which I had to supply). Spent a bundle on this party but it was soo worth it as I didn't have to clean up !!

We came here for my niece's birthday and weren't able to go in. My wife is pregnant and wasn't able to stand in line with me so after 1 hour of waiting we get to the front and the staff wont let us in since my wife was "cutting in line". I explained shes pregnant and can't stand for long periods of time. They said she would have to make line because it wouldn't be for the others who had waited in line. I asked to speak to the manager and she said the exact same thing. Overalll the whole situation was handled extremely poor and I will not step foot in this place again

So today was the opening day and after ready about this place in the newspaper over the weekend...I just had to experience it myself!! This place is HUGE, takes up (as far as i can tell) almost the whole bottom floor of the Buena Park mall. Currently they are offering tour of the place without the purchase of buffet, but normally you can not enter without purchasing buffet meal. So we got the all you can buffet meals and went to work!! Salad bar is decent with 2 different kids of lettuce, iceberg and romaine. Several cold pasta salads and potato salad. There toppings for the salad were aplenty and they also had a nice selection of dressings. Next is their pasta and potato bar. Pastas were so-so (yes i tried all 6 they had to offer, with mac and cheese being my fav.) and then they had a baked potato area, which I did not try . Then the pizza bar....so the strangest thing they have is their spicy peanut butter pizza....blah!! I did not like it at all, just a strange combo to me. The other pizzas were decent and what you would expect from a buffet. The desserts (oh how I love my sweets!!) they actually had a couple things that were yum! Cookies were moist, apple crisp was really good with some ice cream. Brownie was yucky and had a weird texture. This place has several different themed rooms to dine in (sports, surfing, cartoon, etc). i thought the game area was lacking a little. Their selection of video games was not up to my standards....but then again I really enjoy my video games! Oh and for those adults who want a distraction from all the kids running around....they sell beer here!

I think its a great idea to have a buffet and a kids play area in the same building, I also like the different rooms you can sit in. The price is not bad at all for all you can eat salad/pizza/pasta/dessert- it isn't the best quality, but tastes pretty damn good. The bread sticks are great, baked potatoes are pretty good, like the pasta, not a big fan of the pizza, but I get full every time I go. They have ice cream and powdered donuts which I'm sure everyone enjoys. They have a good variety of games and prizes and 3 rides. You can also host bday parties there in a private room. We go here once every couple months or so, haven't had a bad experience yet.

Highly recommend for a child's birthday party for a large group... I booked two party rooms that can seat 36 guests. My party host was very helpful and entertained about 14 children, she helped me with the party games, decorations and setup/cleanup. I got the Incredible party package which includes buffet for all guests, one bumper car ride, 25 tickets and 20 funworld credits. The prices are reasonable and the food is pretty good.

What a difference time makes. This places is now a crowded dump. Imagine Chuck E Cheese ghettofied by 10 times. Last time I went I had to wait almost an hour to get in and the buffet line was no longer clean- I guess it would be impossible to keep clean with the amount of people in there. *This is my personal opinion* So I heard about this place through my friends, and I must say it was a good thing I went. So I decided to go during the worst times you can go.....Saturday......between 1-2.......I HAD NO CHOICE!!!!! This was the only time that my girlfriend and I were available!!!!!! As we expected, there were A LOT of people. And sure enough there were many kids. One thing that I like about the place is that they have different dining areas to choose from. They have a toon themed room, a fusion room, a sports room, and others. We chose to go eat in the "Cabin Fever" room, believe me go there if it's busy. NO ONE eats in that one!!!! All the other rooms were pretty loud, so this was a perfect area to eat at. I guess people didn't want to eat in a log cabin, hahaha. Now considering that this is an AYCE pizza place I wasn't expecting the food to be all that great, but sure enough I was wrong. The food was actually pretty good!!!! I liked the different varieties of pizza that they had. I'm a fan of their cheeseburger pizza, and fiesta pizza. Actually I'm a fan of all their pizza's. The pasta was cool too, but I really kept refilling my mac and cheese. It's not the best mac and cheese ever, but I was really craving mac and cheese that day. Plus I got my wisdom teeth pulled out the week before, so it was a safe choice. They have the regular choices like pepperoni, cheese, and stuff. You should try the "not-so-regular" choices too, they might surprise you. One thing that was not in favor to us was that the pizza's vanished very fast, but then again it was a Saturday during lunch with a mob of kids running around. Oh yeah they serve beer too, so there's a plus. I didn't get to go play any of the games though, it's not I was devastated.....or was I??? Hahhaha. Overall it was a good experience. I'll probably go when there's less of a crowd. Try for yourself, and maybe you'll like it too.

went there expecting to be expensive, but I was wrong. They have a wed special which is 8.99 for the lunch buffet. ALL YOU CAN EAT PIZZA, PASTA, DESSERTS, SOUP, AND BREAD. AND ALL YOU CAN DRINK TOO FROM SODA TO COFFEE. its a cool place to have a party. You can request your own pizza. Also the different rooms where you can sit i think its pretty cool

Waaay better than Chucky Cheese's for kids older that 5 years old! Better games, rides, bigger, louder, and roomier. Just make sure to visit when its not busy, like past noontime on weekends! Or be ready for a long wait in the line! The buffet-style is better too. Reminds me of Hometown Buffet somewhat. But be prepared to spend more that you normally would if you would've taken your kids to Chucky Cheese's; those cards will need to be recharged sooner that you think!!!

Ya this place is pretty awesome! Been here many times. My daughter absolutely loves it and so does the BF...The ESPN room gets him. The multiple rooms is one of my favorites about this place. That was a AWESOME idea I must say! There is about 5 different rooms (Character room - playing cartoons and its adorable, ESPN room playing the different games that are Live at that time, A cabin room to relax in a cabin, fire setting these are the 3 that I clearly remember) This is what gets me!! Awesome...A private setting rather than having to worry about kids yelling and screaming like CHUCK E CHEESE! They have a wide variety of food and it is GOOOOD!! If you are health cautious no worries....It is all up to you! You can eat healthy here! The games are awesome..ESP the miniature glow in the dark bowling! DO NOT believe any false reviews here they GIVE ALOT OF TICKETS FOR EVERY GAME. Your child will be guaranteed a valuable item when they cash in their tickets UNLIKE CHUCK E CHEESE where all they walk out with is a petty eraser or stickers. It is all well worth your money as I feel as if it is money well spent and not wasted every single time I have went. There is no comparison this place rocks! Join the club and they ALWAYS send pretty great offers... DO NOT BELIEVE ANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS....Once you go you will see the great quality of this place.

This place was very big to my amazment and what better place to have it then a mall. The price for all you can eat is great. This is a place you come to pig out..the pizza is good. I did not try the pasta..i even was able to make my own rootbeer float..mmmm...the ride were all new and improved and everyone at least gets enough tickets to get a prize at the end of their day. This is a cross between chuck e cheese and dave and buster..everyone should at least enjoy it once

This is like Chuck E. Cheese on crack. They have all you can eat buffet drinks and dessert. The pizzas are nothing ordinary either! they have spicy peanut butter pizza (peanut butter instead of marinara with pepperoni), nacho pizza, hamburger pizza, alfredo pizza, margarita pizza, macaroni and cheese pizza, and the list goes on. I'm vegetarian so I really appreciate the fact that they have spots reserved for "guest choice" pizza. Guest choice pizza is just that... you choose what you want on the pizza and they make it fresh. I tried the peanut butter pizza without pepperoni or sausage on it. It was... different, haha. It's not as disgusting as it sounds...just weird. They also have a nice salad bar and pasta bar with baked potatoes and bread sticks that are delicious. One favorite of mine was the pesto bow tie pasta. It's good...try it. At the dessert bar they have a machine that makes fresh donuts which happen to taste exactly like funnel cake. They even put powdered sugar on them! They also have apple pie which tastes 1000x better with the soft serve ice cream as a topping. Yum. ...and that's just the food! This place is basically the whole downstairs of the Buena Park mall. The games are enough for children and adults. They have games that you can find at dave and buster's (such as deal or no deal, and that trivia game). They also have a carnival ride that's pretty cool for being in a place like this. They have bumper cars which look like a hybrid bumper car/bumper boat. and a mini bowling ally. This would make an awesome kids birthday party place, or a fun night out. The buffet is pretty cheap I've even gone with friends just to have dinner.

Went to John's Incredible Pizza Company tonight for dinner. This place is an All You Can Eat (AYCE) collection of some interesting food. I think prices are reasonable for the selection you get. I didn't try all the pizzas that they have, but the Hawaiian pizza, and the spaghetti with marinara sauce was very tasty. I decided to try out their policy of accomodating guests' pizza requests, so I asked someone at the pizza counter if I could have a sausage and pepperoni pizza made for me. The employee said, "Sure!" with a smile then asked for my name. After I gave my name, she told me that the pizza would be ready in about 10 minutes. I then put together a salad from the salad bar with a decent array of salad-ish things - more things than you'd find at a Sizzler's. The same employee who promised me a special made pizza called out my name over the PA and announced that my pizza was ready. After my late lunch earlier today, I didn't really have room in my stomach to each much more than I wrote about, although I did drink a Diet Coke. I DID play a lot of the arcade game machines in the spacious game area. I had a very fun time here, and I liked the food!

Are buffets ever a good idea? I mean really! Do you ever feel as good or as excited coming in to the place as you do when coming out. The answer is probably always a resounding "no". We now come to John's Incredible Pizza Company or JIPC as it will undoubtedly be shortened to. The first thing you will notice about this restaurant is that its located underground and away from the pre-pubescent lurking ground of the Buena Park Mall. But step inside...and it's a whole different kind of jungle. Entering the line. It took quite a while for us to finally get to the register. This was caused by the snails pace the people in the front were working at. After paying our 8.99 for food and drink (which is a fantastic price) we entered the mad house. A flurry of little children running up and around the buffet area. We quickly grabbed out plates and got to work. After choosing from the array of pastas and pizzas we wandered...aimlessly...to find a room to eat in. I really like this aspect of the restaurant. After finally settling into one of the many themed rooms we feasted. As far as the food goes. It was MOSTLY good. I chose to pretty much skip the pastas all together and focused mainly on the numerous different kinds of pizzas and my baked potato. My friends chose to start with the pasta and it was met with all kinds of criticism. They were not pleased. Their breadsticks were fresh and piping hot as well as the baked potato which had numerous fixings next to it for you to pile on. The pizza was pretty good. I tended to really enjoy the more traditional versions as apposed to the more gimmicky ones. I quickly got tired of the peanut butter pizza. I can definitely see that pizza being the one that makes me vomit after I've reached my limit. The deserts were a big surprise! Those donuts are just unreal. They are exactly like a fresh funnel cake. The soft serve was surprisingly creamy. Just thinking about those two together actually make me want to hurry back. To be honest I'd probably give this place 3 1/2 or 3 3/4 stars with a strong recommendation on the terms that you can deal with the madness of energetic and screaming children. But thinking on it a little me. Naw! A solid 4 is good with me.

I think there is a reason that I have heard this place referred to as J.I.P....it kind of is one! I finally went to Johns Incredible Pizza (JIP) today. I was so disappointed. There were several things that I didn't like about this place, and for a minute I couldn't figure out how everyone loved it so much on here. It occurred to me that many of the reviews were ppl WITHOUT small children (ours are 3 and 6). With older kids (8 and up) I am sure my review would be much different! Pros: 1. The food was good! AND AYCE!! 2. The themed rooms where you eat are nice, clean and the atmosphere is great! It's when you walk out of here that my CON list begins... Cons 1. They don't hand stamp the kids (like Chuck E Cheese) so anyone could take off with your kids, or they could sneak away and wander the mall if they wanted to. You have to stick with them pretty tightly, and they can't hear you if they wander more than 10 feet away. There were LOTS of lost kids. 2. MANY of the games had coin slots that were too high for my 3 year old. 3. The games take a card that you swipe (like Dave and Busters) and then there is a 2nd step - press the play now button on the same swiper. It was confusing for even my husband at first. My kids never got it right on their own. 4. You cannot see your kids from where you eat, so you have to all go play games at the exact same time. 5. It is LOUD. We gave up on trying to talk to each other. 6. 3 of the 6 games we played either didn't spit out the tickets or didn't work. (Skee Ball took my money and the balls only came half way down the chute) 6. There wasn't a soul in site to help with any of these complications. 7. Did I mention it was loud? 8. If you have a party here, the only way to pay for everyone at once, is to book it through the party center. It is $13 per person for the cheapest package and you have to pay for EVERY person. So 10 kids with 2 parents each adds up FAST!! You also HAVE to use their bright, sterile looking party rooms. They won't let you set up in one of the other areas. 9. It is dark, with low ceilings. 10. It is loud! I won't be going back anytime soon. I suppose I will have to torture myself again in the future, because my kids love it here. It was just way too inconvenient with little kids. I hate to say it, but this place made me appreciate Chuck E Cheese for the smaller kids. We cancelled our party here and booked with at CEC for 1/4 the price.

I just moved down here to the Bay Area and worked across the street at the Starbucks drive-thru and had to look at this place every time I started work. Curiosity got the better of me and the more research and word of mouth that I got about the place, the more my curiosity eventually caved in. Just so happened that my curiosity caved in at the same time my girlfriend came down to visit me from the Bay Area, so we decided to check out the place. Full buffet for a little over $10 including drinks? You can't really beat that. This place is a hybrid of D&B's and Chuck E. Cheese (with more emphasis on the Chuck E. Cheese place to cater to the kids). There's rides, a salad bar, dessert bar and pizza. The pizza...oh my. I sampled each of the pizza's with my girlfriend ranging from cheeseburger, nachos to their infamous spicy peanut butter pizza. I was skeptical at first trying out the spicy peanut butter pizza, but upon first bite made me a true believer. Peanut butter was snugly nestled beneath the cheese and the bread, topped off with a real peanut for decoration and pepperoni to top it off. The food was good albeit the peanut butter was a bit overwhelming but surprisingly enough complimented the pizza really well. The place was clean as can be, and the people there usually serve you pizza 5-6 min within asking for the specialty ones (cheeseburger, peanut butter etc..). Although this place may seem like a kiddy spot, it isn't as beer is served and when I went around noon we saw elderly people and people in business suits getting their fix of Johns Incredible PIzza. Highly recommended to the highly curious.

Came here as a surprise for the kids after school, with the B(triple)F. (plus got a super cool groupon!) The location was easy to find in the mall, with an entrance to the location from the parking lot. I had never been to a Johns incredible pizza, but new what it was about. We got there early, which worked out well. There was no line when we walked in, but soon became pretty long. The layout was nice, with the seating areas and the buffet set up close, then the games in the back. The Food was maybe 2* worth, but I wasn't expecting Gourmet. The pizza's were hot, and they had a good variety. The salads were fresh, which is good. The groupon that we had came with 100 tokens each, which I was worried wouldn't be enough, with 3 kids, but ended up being just enough. We had 300 total, and it kept up all busy for over an hour and a half. The game area wasn't super big, but laid out well. Spacious enough to allow the kids to run around, and still be able to see them. All in all it was a fun time, we ate, played, and got silly, crappy toys with all the tickets the kids won. Everyone was happy! I would come back.....for the kids entertainment....but probably wouldn't eat too much!

This place was amazing! We went on a Saturday right when it opened before the crowd of kids came and we were like the only ones there! The pizza was really good (especially the peanut butter, cheeseburger, and nacho) and I really liked that they are cut into small pieces so you can try them all! The fresh donut maker tasted exactly like funnel cake and they had yummy cinnamon rolls, chocolate cake, and ice cream! The pastas were also very good, a little dried out, but the bow-tie pesto was my favorite. The breadsticks were also really good (like pat and oscars), and the salad bar had like everything you could want to put on your salad (more than souplantation) As for the game room, we didn't play any games, but we checked it out...a full on carnival ride inside the restaurant and bumper cars! Thats pretty legit! I would definietely say an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet for 8.99 on saturday is a pretty good deal...especially when you get there early because I heard it gets pretty insane when the kids start to show up

eh!.....the frist time was cool but the 2th time...I was like hummmm! okay pizza agend.....Pizza in the left pizza on the right.....They should have like chicken or some tacos or something....I mean don't get me wrong it.'s fun when you go with friends that like to eat but, I just get tired of the same old thing.......the games r fun and I love there salad bar......sooooo! ya!.......OH! ya! I found out on the 5 news that this miss up pizza place SUCKS!... finds out some man that was pertending that he work at the John's incredible pizza poizon all the food,and some people had to go to the hospatal .....I can't belive I use to come here....ewwwwww!....

Pleasantly surprised. Like 5 steps up from Chucky Cheese. Came here for a b-day party, if there ate lots of kids it would be fun. They played lame games (like balloon limbo, ballon hot potato, etc.) I thought it was lame but the kids really liked it. They let u bring in ur own cake & stuff but were super good at making sure we didn't go over our room time (practically kicked us out). But that means if u reserve a room, be assured they'll have it ready on time. The place fills up quickly (we started at 10 & left around 1....there was a HUGE line waiting to get in). The games were fun (your typical arcade/fun zone games). The food? Decent. Buffet style: pizza, pasta, potato & dessert bar, with beverage station. It's Soooo much cleaner than a Chucky & is much nicer. Not a bad place to have a bday party or take the kids....Humm, guess I'd go 3.5 stars if u could... that Alfredo pizza is worth at least that. :)

Just got back from a birthday party here. My kids loved the place. The food is an open buffet, it's alright. You go there for the entertainment, and there's something for everyone from toddlers to adults. Just not sure I'm likely to go there on our own since getting in requires you to go thru a maze of metal bars. But I may hold my kids' birthday parties here. The staff was great in entertaining the little ones.

We've been hearing good comments about this place, so we decided to take my 2 year old son and my 2 year old nephew here. My sisters in law and I decided to wait in line with my 3 month old son while our husbands wait outside the place with our kids because the line was very long. After an hour of waiting, the staff told that us that our husbands and our kids cannot go in because they did not wait in line with us and it will not be fair for others who waited in line. We kept insisting that we were in line for them and it was hard for our kids to stay in line. We asked for the manager and she said the exact same thing and kept insisting that it is their policy. We told them that it is our first time here and we did not know about their policy and there was not any written policy that was posted outside. After all the arguments, they did not let us in. We are never going back to this place ever again! They do not know anything about customer service!

I thought this place was just ok. We took my 2 year old and 3 year old boys there when it first opened during the evening time. First off, we ended up spending $60.00 all together with food and games which was outrageous and then the food wasn't all that great. The food was barely warm and tasted like it had been sitting out for some time. Then the dining area is totally separate from the play room which is a hassle because usually at Chuck E cheese, we eat while we watch our kids play. And then there wasn't enough games and stuff for my toddlers to do. We could've spent half that money at Chuck E cheese and had a better time. I'll never go here again!

I've actually been here twice..the first time I never got past the long winding line of about a hundred people..the second time I came on a Wednesday night..not crowded and you could eat in any room of your choice.. The cool thing about this place is that they have different themed rooms ( Sports room, cartoon room etc) and it's NOT that pricey to eat here! It was about 10 bucks a person for buffet. Kids were a little less. But it's a buffet of about 20 diffrent pizzas, 5 different pastas, a make your own pasta, salad bar, dessert bar, drinks, and even beer (not all you can drink sadly). You can even customize a whole pizza and they will call you when it's ready...not bad not bad... now the game room is HUGE..it's priced like any other Dave n Busters so a credit is quarter. But the games are way better than chuck e cheese cause it appeals to older kids as well. There are 2 big rides in this game room and those cost a different amount of credits. You can save your ticket count onto your card which is convienent and after all the games you can always go back to eat more pizza...I signed myself up for a VIP card and will be back soon....
